Aleppo, de wraak van de VS: oorlog aan de alternatieve media, leve de staatspropaganda….!!

Nadat de Obama regering Rusland heeft beschuldigd van het hacken van de verkiezingen, waar het overigens geen nanometer bewijs voor heeft, is het nu de beurt aan de alternatieve media…… De VS zag met lede ogen de val van Aleppo (wat betreft het verslaan van de door deze terreurentiteit gesteunde ‘gematigde’ terroristen) en geeft daarvoor nu ook de schuld aan de alternatieve media…….

De alternatieve media die niet braaf de door de VS aangeleverde leugenpropaganda herhaalden, maar met feiten aantoonden, dat de VS keer op keer heeft gelogen inzake Syrië!! Sterker nog, dat de VS de aanstichter is van de oorlog in Syrië, die intussen aan meer dan 700.000 mensen het leven heeft gekost…….

Het beschuldigen van de media, is een herhaling van zetten: toen het duidelijk werd, dat de VS de oorlog in Vietnam had verloren, waren het vooral de media ‘die voor het verlies hadden gezorgd……’ ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!

The
U.S. government is creating a new $160 million bureaucracy to shut
down information that doesn’t conform to U.S. propaganda
narratives, building on the strategy that sold the bloody Syrian
“regime change”

– The U.S. establishment is not content simply to have domination
over the media narratives on critical foreign policy issues, such as
Syria, Ukraine and Russia. It wants total domination. Thus we now
have the “Countering
Foreign Propaganda and Disinformation Act” that President Obama
signed into law on Dec. 23 as part of theNational
Defense Authorization Act for 2017 (NDAA), setting aside $160 million to
combat any “propaganda” that challenges Official Washington’s
version of reality.

The
new law mandates the U.S. Secretary of State to collaborate with the
Secretary of Defense, Director of National Intelligence and other
federal agencies to create a Global Engagement Center “to lead,
synchronize, and coordinate efforts of the Federal Government to
recognize, understand, expose, and counter foreign state and
non-state propaganda and disinformation efforts aimed at undermining
United States national security interests.” The law directs the
Center to be formed in 180 days and to share expertise among agencies
and to “coordinate with allied nations.”

The
legislation was initiated in March 2016, as the demonization of
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Russia was already underway and
was enacted amid the allegations of “Russian hacking” around the
U.S. presidential election and the mainstream media’s furor over
supposedly “fake news.” Defeated Democratic presidential nominee
Hillary Clinton voiced strong support for the bill: “It’s
imperative that leaders in both the private sector and the public
sector step up to protect our democracy, and innocent lives.”

The
new law is remarkable for a number of reasons, not the least because
it merges a
new McCarthyism about purported dissemination of Russian
“propaganda” on the Internet with a
new Orwellianism by creating a kind of Ministry of Truth –
or Global Engagement Center – to protect the American people from
“foreign propaganda and disinformation.”

As
part of the effort to detect and defeat these unwanted narratives,
the law authorizes the Center to: “Facilitate the use of a wide
range of technologies and techniques by sharing expertise among
Federal departments and agencies, seeking expertise from external
sources, and implementing best practices.” (This section is an
apparent reference to proposals that Google, Facebook and other
technology companies find ways to block or brand certain Internet
sites as purveyors
of “Russian propaganda” or “fake news.”)

Justifying
this new bureaucracy, the bill’s sponsors argued that the existing
agencies for “strategic
communications” and “public
diplomacy” were not enough, that the information threat
required “a whole-of-government approach leveraging all elements of
national power.”

The
law also is rife with irony since the U.S. government and related
agencies are among the world’s biggest purveyors of propaganda and
disinformation – or what you might call evidence-free claims, such
as the recent accusations of Russia hacking into Democratic emails to
“influence” the U.S. election.

Despite
these accusations — leaked by the Obama administration and embraced
as true by the mainstream U.S. news media — there is little
or no public evidence to support the charges. There is also
a contradictory analysis by
veteran U.S. intelligence professionals as well as statements
by Wikileaks
founder Julian Assange and an associate, former
British Ambassador Craig Murray, that the Russians were not the
source of the leaks. Yet, the mainstream U.S. media has virtually
ignored this counter-evidence, appearing eager to collaborate with
the new “Global Engagement Center” even before it is
officially formed.

Of
course, there is a long history of U.S. disinformation and
propaganda. Former CIA agents Philip Agee and John Stockwell
documented how it was done decades ago, secretly planting “black
propaganda” and covertly funding media outlets to influence events
around the world, with much of the fake news blowing back into the
American media.

In
more recent decades, the U.S. government has adopted an Internet-era
version of that formula with an emphasis on having the State
Department or the U.S.-funded National Endowment for Democracy
supply, train and pay “activists” and “citizen journalists”
to create and distribute propaganda and false stories via “social
media” and via contacts with the mainstream media. The U.S.
government’s strategy also seeks to undermine and discredit
journalists who challenge this orthodoxy. The new legislation
escalates this information war by tossing another $160 million into
the pot.

Propaganda
and Disinformation on Syria

Syria
is a good case study in the modern application of information
warfare. In her memoir Hard
Choices,
former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton wrote that the U.S.
provided “support for (Syrian) civilian opposition groups,
including satellite-linked computers, telephones, cameras, and
training for more than a thousand activists, students and independent
journalists.”

Indeed,
a huge amount of money has gone to “activists” and “civil
society” groups in Syria and other countries that have been
targeted for “regime change.” A lot of the money also goes to
parent organizations that are based in the United States and Europe,
so these efforts do not only support on-the-ground efforts to
undermine the targeted countries, but perhaps even more importantly,
the money influences and manipulates public opinion in the West.

In
North America, representatives from the Syrian “Local
Coordination Committees”(LCC) were frequent guests on popular
media programs such as “DemocracyNow.” The message was clear:
there is a “revolution” in Syria against a “brutal regime”
personified in Bashar al-Assad. It was not mentioned that the “Local
Coordination Committees” have been primarily funded by the West,
specifically the Office for Syrian Opposition Support, which was
founded by the U.S. State Department and the U.K. Foreign and
Commonwealth Office.

More
recently, news and analysis about Syria has been conveyed through the
filter of the White Helmets, also known as Syrian Civil Defense. In
the Western news media, the White Helmets are described as neutral,
non-partisan, civilian volunteers courageously carrying out rescue
work in the war zone. In fact, the group is none
of the above. It was initiated by the U.S. and U.K. using a
British military contractor and Brooklyn-based marketing company.

While
they may have performed some genuine rescue operations, the White
Helmets are primarily a media organization with a political goal: to
promote NATO intervention in Syria. (The manipulation of public
opinion using the White Helmets and promoted by the New York Times
and Avaaz petition for a “No Fly Zone” in Syria is
documentedhere.)

The
White Helmets hoax continues to be widely believed and receives
uncritical promotion though it has increasingly been exposed at
alternative media outlets as the creation of a “shady
PR firm.” During critical times in the conflict in Aleppo,
White Helmet individuals have been used as the source for important
news stories despite a track record of deception.

Recent
Propaganda: Blatant Lies?

As
the armed groups in east Aleppo recently lost ground and then
collapsed, Western governments and allied media went into a frenzy of
accusations against Syria and Russia based on reports from sources
connected with the armed opposition. CNN host Wolf Blitzer described
Aleppo as “falling” in a “slaughter of these women and
children” while CNN host Jake Tapper referred to “genocide by
another name.”

The
Daily Beast published the claims of the Aleppo Siege Media Center
under the title“Doomsday
is held in Aleppo” and amid accusations that the Syrian
army was executing civilians, burning them alive and “20 women
committed suicide in order not to be raped.” These sensational
claims were widely broadcast without verification. However, this
“news” on CNN and throughout Western media came from highly
biased sources and many of the claims – lacking anything
approaching independent corroboration – could be accurately
described as propaganda and disinformation.

Ironically,
some of the supposedly “Russian propaganda” sites, such as RT,
have provided first-hand on-the-ground reporting from the war zones
with verifiable information that contradicts the Western narrative
and thus has received almost no attention in the U.S. news media. For
instance, some of these non-Western outlets have shown videos of
popular celebrations over the “liberation of Aleppo.”

There
has been further corroboration of these realities from peace
activists, such as Jan Oberg of Transnational Foundation for Peace
and Future Research who published aphoto
essay of his eyewitness observations in Aleppo including the
happiness of civilians from east Aleppo reaching the
government-controlled areas of west Aleppo, finally freed from areas
that had been controlled by Al Qaeda’s Syrian affiliate and its
jihadist allies in Ahrar al-Sham.

Dr.
Nabil Antaki, a medical doctor from Aleppo, described the liberation
of Aleppo in an interview titled “Aleppo
is Celebrating, Free from Terrorists, the Western Media
Misinformed.” The first Christmas celebrations in Aleppo
in four years are shown here,replete
with marching band members in Santa Claus outfits. Journalist Vanessa
Beeley has published testimonies of
civilians from east Aleppo. The happiness of civilians at their
liberation is clear.

Whether
or not you wish to accept these depictions of the reality in Aleppo,
at a minimum, they reflect another side of the story that you have
been denied while being persistently force-fed the version favored by
the U.S. State Department. The goal of the new Global Engagement
Center to counter “foreign propaganda” is to ensure that you
never get to hear this alternative narrative to the Western
propaganda line.

Even
much earlier, contrary to the Western mythology of rebel “liberated
zones,” there was strong evidence that the armed groups were never
popular in Aleppo. American journalist James Foley described the
situation in 2012 like this:

“Aleppo,
a city of about 3 million people, was once the financial heart of
Syria. As it continues to deteriorate, many civilians here are losing
patience with the increasingly violent and unrecognizable opposition
— one that is hampered by infighting and a lack of structure, and
deeply infiltrated by both foreign fighters and terrorist groups. The
rebels in Aleppo are predominantly from the countryside, further
alienating them from the urban crowd that once lived here peacefully,
in relative economic comfort and with little interference from the
authoritarian government of President Bashar al-Assad.”

On
Nov. 22, 2012, Foley was kidnapped in northwestern Syria and held by
Islamic State terrorists before his beheading in August 2014.

The
Overall Narrative on Syria

Analysis
of the Syrian conflict boils down to two competing narratives. One
narrative is that the conflict is a fight for freedom and democracy
against a brutal regime, a storyline promoted in the West and the
Gulf states, which have been fueling
the conflict from the start. This narrative is also favored by
some self-styled “anti-imperialists” who want a “Syrian
revolution.”

The
other narrative is that the conflict is essentially a war of
aggression against a sovereign state, with the aggressors including
NATO countries, Gulf monarchies, Israel and Jordan. Domination of the
Western media by these powerful interests is so thorough that one
almost never gets access to this second narrative, which is
essentially banned from not only the mainstream but also much of the
liberal and progressive media.

For
example, listeners and viewers of the generally progressive TV and
radio program “DemocracyNow” have rarely if ever heard the second
narrative described in any detail. Instead, the program frequently
broadcasts the statements of Hillary Clinton, U.S. Ambassador to the
United Nations Samantha Power and others associated with the U.S.
position. Rarely do you hear the viewpoint of the Syrian Ambassador
to the United Nations, the Syrian Foreign Minister or analysts inside
Syria and around the world who have written about and follow events
there closely.

“DemocracyNow”
also has done repeated interviews with proponents of the “Syrian
revolution” while ignoring analysts who call the conflict a war of
aggression sponsored by the West and the Gulf monarchies. This
blackout of the second narrative continues despite the fact that many
prominent international figures see it as such. For example, the
former Foreign Minister of Nicaragua and former President of the UN
General Assembly, Father Miguel D’Escoto, has said, “What the
U.S. government is doing in Syria is tantamount to a war of
aggression, which, according to the Nuremberg Tribunal, is the worst
possible crime a State can commit against another State.”

In
many areas of politics, “DemocracyNow” is excellent and
challenges mainstream media. However in this area, coverage of the
Syrian conflict, the broadcast is biased, one-sided and echoes the
news and analysis of mainstream Western corporate media, showing the
extent of control over foreign policy news that already exists in the
United States and Europe.

Suppressing
and Censoring Challenges

Despite
the widespread censorship of alternative analyses on Syria and other
foreign hotspots that already exists in the West, the U.S.
government’s new “Global Engagement Center” will seek to ensure
that the censorship is even more complete with its goal to “counter
foreign state and non-state propaganda and disinformation.” We can
expect even more aggressive and better-financed assaults on the few
voices daring to challenge the West’s “group thinks” – smear
campaigns that are already quite extensive.

In
an article titled “Controlling
the Narrative on Syria”, Louis Allday describes the criticisms
and attacks on journalists Rania Khalek and Max Blumenthal for
straying from the “approved” Western narrative on Syria. Some of
the bullying and abuse has come from precisely those people, such as
Robin Yassin-Kassab, who have been frequent guests in liberal Western
media.

Reporters
who have returned from Syria with accounts that challenge the
propaganda themes that have permeated the Western media also have
come under attack. For instance, Canadian journalist Eva Bartlett
recently returned to North America after being in Syria and Aleppo,
conveying a very different image and critical of the West’s biased
media coverage. Bartlett appeared at a United Nations press
conference and then did numerous interviews across the
country during a speaking tour. During the course of her talks and
presentation, Bartlett criticized the White Helmets and questioned
whether it was true that Al Quds Hospital in opposition-held East
Aleppo was attacked and destroyed as claimed.

Bartlett’s
recounting of this information made her a target of Snopes, which has
been a mostly useful website exposing urban legends and false rumors
but has come under criticism itself for some internal challenges and
has been inconsistent in its investigations. In one report entitled
“White
Helmet Hearsay,” Snopes’ writer Bethania Palmer says
claims the White Helmets are “linked to terrorists” is
“unproven,” but she overlooks numerous videos,
photos, and other reports showing White Helmet members celebrating a
Nusra/Al Qaeda battle victory, picking up the bodies of civilians
executed by a Nusra executioner, and having a member who
alternatively appears as a rebel/terrorist fighter with a weapon and
later wearing a White Helmet uniform. The “fact check” barely
scrapes the surface of public evidence.

The
same writer did another shallow “investigation” titled “victim
blaming” regarding Bartlett’s critique of White Helmet
videos and what happened at the Al Quds Hospital in Aleppo. Bartlett
suggests that some White Helmet videos may be fabricated and may
feature the same child at different times, i.e., photographs that
appear to show the same girl being rescued by White Helmet workers at
different places and times. While it is uncertain whether this
is the same girl, the similarity is clear.

The
Snopes writer goes on to criticize Bartlett for her comments about
the reported bombing of Al Quds Hospital in east Aleppo in April
2016. A statement at the websiteof
Doctors Without Borders says the building was “destroyed and
reduced to rubble,” but this was clearly false since photos show
the building with unclear damage. Five months later, the September
2016 report by
Doctors Without Borders says the top two floors of the building were
destroyed and the ground floor Emergency Room damaged yet they
re-opened in two weeks.

The
many inconsistencies and contradictions in the statements of Doctors
Without Borders resulted in an open
letter to them. In their last report, Doctors Without
Borders (known by its French initials, MSF) acknowledges that “MSF
staff did not directly witness the attack and has not visited Al Quds
Hospital since 2014.”

Bartlett
referenced satellite images taken before and after the reported
attack on the hospital. The images do not show severe damage and it
is unclear whether or not there is any damage to the roof, the basis
for Bartlett’s statement. In the past week, independent journalists
have visited the scene of Al Quds Hospital and report that that the
top floors of the building are still there and damage is unclear.

The
Snopes’ investigation criticizing Bartlett was superficial and
ignored the broader issues of accuracy and integrity in the Western
media’s depiction of the Syrian conflict. Instead the article
appeared to be an effort to discredit the eyewitness observations and
analysis of a journalist who dared challenge the mainstream
narrative.

U.S.
propaganda and disinformation on Syria has been extremely effective
in misleading much of the American population. Thus, most Americans
are unaware how many billions of taxpayer dollars have been spent on
yet another “regime change” project. The propaganda campaign –
having learned from the successful demonizations of Iraq’s Saddam
Hussein, Libya’s Muammar Gaddafi and other targeted leaders – has
been so masterful regarding

Syria
that many liberal and progressive news outlets were pulled in. It has
been left to RT and some Internet outlets to challenge the U.S.
government and the mainstream media.

But
the U.S. government’s near total control of the message doesn’t
appear to be enough. Apparently even a few voices of dissent are a
few voices too many.

The
enactment of HR5181, “Countering Foreign Propaganda and
Disinformation,” suggests that the ruling powers seek to escalate
suppression of news and analyses that run counter to the official
narrative. Backed by a new infusion of $160 million, the plan is to
further squelch skeptical voices with operation for “countering”
and “refuting” what the U.S. government deems to be propaganda
and disinformation.

As
part of the $160 million package, funds can be used to hire or reward
“civil society groups, media content providers, nongovernmental
organizations, federally funded research and development centers,
private companies, or academic institutions.”

Among
the tasks that these private entities can be hired to perform is to
identify and investigate both print and online sources of news that
are deemed to be distributing “disinformation, misinformation, and
propaganda directed at the United States and its allies and
partners.”

In
other words, we are about to see an escalation of the information
war.

Goede voornemens na oud & nieuw leiden maar zelden tot het gewenste doel, na een paar dagen weken en soms zelfs meer dan een maand, houdt men het voor gezien. Het is dan ook niet aan te raden goede voornemens na oud & nieuw ten uitvoer te brengen….. Ach, oude ‘wijsheid’ die zo ongeveer iedereen wel zal kennen.

Zo niet bij Radio1 leeghoofd en lullige presentator van den Berg. Hoorde gisteren (3 januari, houdt dit even vast) een suffe reclame voor Radio1, met de belachelijke jaren 50 ‘machostem’ van Hans Hogendoorn, waarin je o.a. van den Berg hoort zeggen,dat hij 10 goede voornemens had voor 2017, maar dat hij daar nu al doorheen is……….. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Hè hè, is dat lachen dan, jezus op een lek vlot!

Charles Groenhuijsen vindt het dom dat de Obama regering kritiek had op het Israëlische nederzettingenbeleid…………

De schaamteloze grofgraaier en blaaskaak de luxe, Groenhuijsen sprak gistermiddag op Radio1 ( rond 12.08 u.). Deze, over een dode hond getilde, verwaande kwast stelde, dat het dom en verkeerd was van Kerry (en daarmee van Obama), om de door Israël voorgenomen uitbreidingen van illegale nederzettingen en (verboden) huizenbouw in Oost-Jeruzalem te veroordelen……..

Al moet ik zeggen, dat hij weliswaar als spuit elf, toch met de intussen versleten argumenten kwam, dat Obama en Kerry dat wel eens eerder hadden kunnen doen, i.p.v. vlak voor de machtsoverdracht aan Trump… Waar hij, als was hij de eerste die het te berde bracht, ‘geheel interessant’ begon uit te leggen, dat Trump de maatregelen die de Obama regering nam, direct zal terugdraaien, als hij ‘uitvoerend president is……’ Hoewel hij stelde dat sommige zaken niet zo eenvoudig teruggedraaid kunnen worden.

Tja, dat had Trump vorige week uit en te na aangegeven en hij heeft zelfs de corrupte fascist Netanyahu opgeroepen rustig te blijven, tot hij met z’n vieze reet op de presidentiële po-stoel zal zitten (waarna hij Israël door dik en dun zal steunen, zelfs als deze fascistische apartheidsstaat besluit de Palestijnen massaal de grens over te zetten)……

Vooral in deze tijd, zo voegde Groenhuijsen toe, aan zijn ‘theorie’ dat het verkeerd was van de regering Obama Israël de les te lezen……… Daar dit Trump de kans zou geven, met de vinger naar de democraten te wijzen (die Israël zo lieten vallen, middels de uitspraken van Kerry)……. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Alsof dat belangrijker is, dan eindelijk de Palestijnen te steunen, die in een volkomen ongelijke strijd met Israël, meer en meer het loodje leggen, zowel figuurlijk als letterlijk……..

Voorts prees Groenhuijsen het milieubeleid van Obama…….. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Obama is verantwoordelijk voor de enorme vervuiling, die met schalie-olie en schaliegaswinning gepaard gaat…… Het gaat hier om zowel bodemvervuiling, grondwatervervuiling, als een enorme vervuiling, met honderden miljoenen liters zwaar vervuild water, van rivieren en de oceaan…… Vervuild water dat met het fracken voor deze winningen wordt geproduceerd…… Daarbij heeft de Obama regering deze winningen gesubsidieerd……

Ook heeft de VS massaal kolen op de wereldmarkt gedumpt, zodat zelfs in Nederland de kolencentrales op volle toeren draaien en gascentrales werden uitgeschakeld. Uiteraard heeft dit ervoor gezorgd, dat men in ontwikkelingslanden massaal kolencentrales heeft gebouwd en bouwt……. De VS heeft zelfs een gigantische kolencentrale in Bangladesh gesubsidieerd, een centrale die in het belangrijke natuurgebied Sundarbans wordt gebouwd……

Daarnaast gaf Obama Shell toestemming om in het Arctisch zeegebied te boren naar olie en gas. Nu wordt dezelfde Obama geprezen, daar hij vorige maand een ban op het boren in Arctisch gebied heeft uitgevaardigd, terwijl Shell zelf is gespot met boren, daar het veel te duur en gevaarlijk is………

Nee, echt groen, die Obama……..

Groenhuijsen: “Weg van de hoop en zo weg van de verandering, die Obama met zoveel succes leek teweeg te brengen….” ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Welke verandering en hoop? ‘Vredesduif’ Obama begon twee illegale oorlogen en is de eerste VS president die de volle twee termijnen in oorlogen verwikkeld was……. Hoop voor de gekleurde bevolking? Hoeveel gekleurden werden door de VS politie doodgeschoten tijdens het bewind van Obama…….. In verhouding met witten, zitten er ongelofelijk veel meer gekleurden gevangen in de VS………

Na zijn hiervoor genoemde citaat, zei Groenhuijsen met verbazing, dat hij somber eindigde, terwijl hij toch altijd zo vrolijk is……… Blijkbaar is het Radio1 grofgraaituig te verstaan gegeven dat er nog meer gelachen moet worden op Radio1, desnoods tijdens een bericht over een aanslag……..

Jezus wat een vervelende domme hufter, die Groenhuijsen!!!!

Britse regering bezig met geschiedvervalsing t.a.v. WOI…… Deel 889…..

In het kader van de herdenking 100 jaar WOI, organiseert de Britse overheid, samen met de Belgisch overheid een groot spektakel rond de derde slag om Ieper, of zoals de Britten deze ook noemen: de Battle of Passchendaele. Afgelopen nacht meldde BBC World Service dit in het nieuws van 1.00 u.

De Britse regering is op zoek naar 4.000 nabestaanden van gesneuvelde Britten, die tijdens deze slag vielen.

Kortom een herdenking om vooral naar de verschrikkingen van WOI te kijken, maar vooral geen aandacht te besteden aan de oorzaak van deze oorlog…… WOI was een ordinaire handelsoorlog, die men van meet af aan, heeft verkocht als een strijd tegen het kwaad (bij alle strijdende partijen)……

Uiteraard wil de Britse regering niet spreken over het schandalig moedwillig de dood insturen van (jonge) mannen, waar speciale troepen achter de aanvallende soldaten aanliepen en hen executeerden als ze niet verder durfden op te trekken………

De brutaliteit en het gore lef van de Britse regering, mensen anno 2017 nog zo durven te besodemieteren, terwijl de Britse overheid en de top van het Britse leger zich schuldig maakten aan een enorme massamoord en dat voor een paar meter terreinwinst…….

4,000
tickets available to attend centenary commemorations.

Descendants
of those who fought at the Third Battle of Ypres will be invited to
the Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) Tyne Cot Cemetery in
Belgium to mark the centenary of the Battle of Passchendaele, the
Culture Secretary Karen Bradley announced today.

Opening
the public ballot for tickets, she revealed the Government’s plans
to mark both the centenary of Passchendaele on 31 July 2017 and the
four years of war on the Ypres salient.

The
commemoration of the Third Battle of Ypres, commonly known as
Passchendaele, will start with a traditional Last Post Ceremony at
the CWGC Menin Gate in Ypres on the eve of the centenary, 30 July.
The ceremony will give thanks to those who have remembered the
British and Commonwealth involvement and sacrifices every evening in
peacetime since 1928.

It
will be followed by a series of live performances, open to thousands
in Ypres’ rebuilt Market Square, that tell the story of the Battle.
Images and film will also be projected onto the town’s famous Cloth
Hall.

On
the 31 July 2017, the first day of the Third Battle of Ypres, the
focus will shift to the 12,000 graves and 35,000 names on the
Memorial Wall to the Missing at the CWGC Tyne Cot cemetery, which
bears witness to the ferocious battle.

Secretary
of State for Culture, Media and Sport Karen Bradley said:

“As
we continue to commemorate the centenary of the First World War, it
is important that we remember the horrors of the battlefields of
Ypres and honour the many who lost their lives. Some of the First
World War’s most defining images of futility, mud, gas attacks and
trenches come from these very battlefields.

As
the War recedes into the distance, it is our responsibility to not
only mark the years that have gone past, but to keep alive the
memories of those who sacrificed so much. I encourage all of those
with family who fought at Passchendaele – The Third Battle of Ypres,
to apply for tickets to the commemorations this summer”.

wanting to honour their relatives where they fought and died can:

the ceremony at Market Square Ypres on 30 July 2017 for the evening
of live performance and music with image and film projected onto
Cloth Hall, rebuilt from rubble.
Apply

a sub-ballot for a very limited number of places at the CWGC Menin
Gate.

The
public ballot is for tickets to attend the commemorative event at
CWGC Tyne Cot Cemetery on 31 July 2017. The 4,000 tickets will be
allocated in pairs, free of charge. Descendants can apply online

24 February 2017.

Those
wishing to be at Market Square on Sunday 30 July 2017 can also

While
the Somme holds a powerful place in the national psyche today, during
the First World War, Passchendaele and Ypres were household names.
The battlefield is closely associated with terrible fighting
conditions, and was the first time poison gas was used in battle on
the Western Front. The story of Joey the War Horse, was set in this
part of the Western Front. And Harry Patch, who became known as the
Last Tommy, was conscripted and fought at Passchendaele.

The
event will also be shown live on large screens in the Market Square
at Ypres and at the Zonnebeke Chateau Grounds, so that those not able
to secure a ticket will still be able to attend the public event on
30th July, and watch the Tyne Cot event on 31 July.

The
Centenary of Passchendaele, the Third Battle of Ypres is a key part
of the UK Government’s four year programme to commemorate the First
World War. The Government will be working closely with with its
delivery partner, the Commonwealth
War Graves Commission, as well as local partners in Belgium, such
as the city of Ypres, the community of Zonnebeke, Passendale and the
Westtoer Province of West-Flanders to commemorate the centenary of
the First World War in the Flanders Fields region.

Fighting
commenced on the Ypres Salient between British and German forces in
1914, and continued throughout the war. The Battle was the first
major British offensive on the Ypres Salient. The ferocity and horror
of the battle is encapsulated in Siegfried Sassoon’s famous line “I
died in hell – They called it Passchendaele”

CWGC
Director General, Victoria Wallace added:

“The
Commonwealth War Graves Commission is honoured that two of our most
visited sites in Ypres will be hosting the UK Government events,
marking the final resting place and formal place of commemoration of
so many thousands of British and Commonwealth servicemen who died on
the Ypres salient during four years of fighting. We hope those
attending and watching will take the time to see more of our
cemeteries in Flanders Fields after the events are over”.

Belgian
General Commissioner for World War One Commemoration Paul Breyne
said:

“The
Belgian Government is deeply committed in bringing support for the
commemoration of this historical event of exceptional magnitude. It
is for the Belgian people and the Belgian Government of utmost
importance to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our
freedom and peace. We are looking forward to welcoming those British
citizens and visitors from other nations who will travel to Belgium
to pay tribute to those who fought with dedication and bravery, a
hundred years ago, in this devastating battle”.

De tweede foto (door mij toegevoegd) doet meer recht aan de werkelijkheid tijdens de slag (hoewel er foto’s zijn, die de verschrikkingen nog beter weergeven…)…… Zo’n 35.000 Britse soldaten zijn na de slag niet meer teruggevonden, ‘slechts’ 12.000 gesneuvelde Britten werden begraven……….. Opvallend dat men anno 2017 nog durft te zeggen, dat de arme donders destijds vrijwillig hun leven gaven………..

SCP goochelt met ‘gevoelens van Nederlander….’

Alhoewel 37% van de Nederlanders vindt ‘dat het goed gaat’, vindt nog steeds 53% dat ‘het niet goed gaat’, één van de zaken die het SCP gisteren bekend maakte (waarschijnlijk: dat het goed gaat met Nederland) Dat was eerder respectievelijk 28 en 61%……… ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Het lijkt me onmogelijk te bewijzen, dat er in beide groepen een gelijke toe- en afname te zien is van 8%…. Immers als je mensen daar naar vraagt en ze zijn niet meer overtuigd, dat het slecht gaat met Nederland, wil dit nog niet zeggen, dat je meteen vindt dat het goed gaat, maar bijvoorbeeld ‘beter dan eerder gedacht!’

Later in het SCP rapport wordt gesteld, dat 82% van de mensen denkt, dat ze er komend jaar niet op achteruit zullen gaan dit jaar………. Daar moeten dus minstens 3,4 miljoen mensen tussen zitten, die tegen-, op- of onder de armoedegrens moeten leven (exclusief 600.000 kinderen overigens!)….. Die mensen hopen misschien dat ze er dit jaar op vooruit zullen gaan, maar weten eigenlijk wel, dat hen leugens worden voorgehouden, daar ze de laatste jaren toch echt telkens weer het tegenovergestelde meemaken……… Ook al waren het maar enkele euro’s per maand meer, die ze kwijtraakten aan huur en zorgpremie, was en is het voor deze mensen zo, dat ze letterlijk geen cent meer konden en kunnen missen!!

Overigens moet dat wantrouwen ook bij andere groepen leven, zeker groepen die tot zo’n € 38.000 per jaar te verteren hebben, ook hen werd van alles beloofd door de VVD en de PvdA, maar precies als de armste groepen, kwamen zij telkens weer bedrogen uit……….

Dan zijn er de ouderen die ongemeen hard zijn aangepakt, onder hen bevindt zich ook een grote groep, die amper kan rondkomen. Bovendien is een groot deel van hen de thuishulp kwijtgeraakt, door het inhumane, ijskoude neoliberale beleid van Rutte 2. Deze mensen vereenzamen en vervuilen, voor je het weet moeten ze naar het ziekenhuis, of sterven ze (wat dan weer heel gunstig is voor Rutte2……..)….. Denkt u werkelijk dat die mensen zullen geloven, dat ze er dit jaar wel op vooruit zullen gaan (terwijl de afgelopen jaren het tegenovergestelde gebeurde)…..??

Voor het grootste deel van de genoemde groepen geldt, dat zij in huurhuizen wonen; de huren zijn de laatste jaren gigantisch gestegen en zoals met de zorgpolis, waarvoor velen een toeslag krijgen, geldt zoals eerder gesteld, dat ze maandelijks toch hele euro’s meer zijn gaan betalen, terwijl ze letterlijk geen cent meer kunnen missen…….

82% denkt er dit jaar op vooruit te gaan……. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!

Mensen, nog maar een paar voorbeelden tot nu toe, maar ik kan nog wel even doorgaan, als je het rapport ziet. Zeker als je nagaat, dat het SCP voor een groot deel de fantasiecijfers van het CBS gebruikt, zoals het aantal werklozen: dat zijn er volgens het CBS niet meer dan 550.000, maar in werkelijkheid zijn dat er dik meer dan 1 miljoen (inclusief de bijstandsgerechtigden en mensen die na de WW geen uitkering krijgen, daar hun partner € 0,10 teveel verdient….)…. Daarnaast heb je nog de kostendelersnorm, die ervoor zorgt, dat een aantal werklozen niet wordt meegerekend in de heilige statistieken…….. Hetzelfde geldt voor het aantal mensen dat in armoede leeft in Nederland, zoals hierboven beschreven, het CBS gaat uit van iets meer dan 740.000 mensen, die in armoede moeten leven, waar het CBS het woord armoede niet eens gebruikt……….

Kortom lijstjes die met de natte vinger in de lucht werden samengesteld. Het is als met de voorspellingen van het peperdure SCP, ze kloppen nooit, maar vertellen wat men in het disfunctionerende, inhumane kabinet Rutte 2, en bij regeringspartijen PvdA en VVD graag hoort!!

ICH bracht op 2 januari jl. het bericht, dat Santos de NAVO uitnodigt om in Colombia ‘de misdaad’ te bestrijden…….

Koenig, de schrijver van het artikel, betoogt dat president Santos van Colombia, ‘de vredesduif’*, geen vrede met de FARC wenst, zoals gezegd de NAVO moet ‘de misdaad bestrijden’ in Colombia, ‘misdaad’ gepleegd door de FARC….. Moorden door rechtse doodseskaders op simpele boeren, moeten de FARC verleiden de wapens weer op te nemen…….. De NAVO naar Zuid-Amerika? Weg met dit uiterst agressieve bondgenootschap!

Overigens nogal vreemd, dat deze rechtse terreurgroepen in Colombia gewoon doorgaan met hun terreur tegen de arme bevolking, vooral buiten de steden….. Eén van de redenen zal zijn, dat deze doodseskaders voor een groot deel uit reguliere politieagenten en militairen van het Colombiaanse leger bestaan, waar deze doodseskaders worden gesteund door de grootste terreurentiteit op aarde: de VS……

Inviting
NATO to Fight “Organized Crime”, A Menace for Latin America

– Imagine, Mr.
Manuel Santos,
President of Colombia, Nobel Peace Laureate 2016, for achieving a
Peace Agreement with the FARC “rebels” (Fuerzas Armadas
Revolucionarias de Colombia – Revolutionary Armed Forces of
Colombia) – this same peace-loving Mr. Santos is inviting NATO to
his country to help fight “organized crime”. As TeleSUR reports,
this could jeopardize the recently signed (the ink is not yet dry)
Peace Agreement between the Government and FARC.

Within
the last few days, at least two leaders of ‘campesinos’ (peasant
farmers) were found killed. “False flag”, as usual, with real
people casualties? Provoking FARC to retaliate? – Which would be
the end of the peace agreement.

Frankly,
I never believed that the government was serious in negotiating
peace, ending one of the longest civil conflicts’, with the longest
peace negotiations in recent Latin American history. A four-year
peace process was supposed to end 52 years of the leftist FARC
militia fighting in defense of the rural poor, countering an elite of
the rich, mostly urban dweller and latifundios, against government
forces with support of the US military stationed in Colombia.

Like
the Europeans, the Colombian Government is a sheer puppet of
Washington’s. Both Santos and his predecessor, Uribe, are CIA
handlers. Having peace with FARC would be against the interests of
the United States. So – what is the agreement all about? – It’s
propaganda: Giving war-wearied people an illusion, false hope, that
there is light at the end of the endless tunnel of assassinations and
abuse – enhanced by the politically highly astute Swedish /
Norwegian Nobel Committee. At the first sign of a FARC uprising, for
example in protest of the (false flag) campesino killings, the
agreement will be broken, and peace is what it was from the very
beginning – a farce – a
travesty to induce a new strategy for Latin America – bringing in
NATO.

To
disguise Washington’s role, President Santos is calling on NATO for
help.

Everybody
knows that NATO represents basically the US Pentagon with some token
input from Washington’s European stooges. But NATO’s involvement
in Colombia would have far wider implication than just fighting FARC,
or as Santos calls it euphemistically, ‘fighting organized crime’
which is a reference to fighting drug cartels and linking the ‘fight’
to the infamous and controversial US
Plan Colombia, the
direct cost of which has exceeded 10 billion dollars since 2000, when
it began. The total cost, including the destruction of
infrastructure, housing and livelihoods, as well as the lives of at
least 220 000 Colombians and close to six million people displaced,
with the related hardship and suffering, is uncountable.

Earlier
this year, The Guardian reported,

“Plan
Colombia has become a catch-all phrase for several different
strategies. It is most widely understood as a US aid package to
Colombia which has totaled about $10 billion since 2000. More
broadly, it was a joint US-Colombian strategy to strengthen the
military, state institutions and the economy.”

“There
is this idea that it is some vast orchestrated project, but Plan
Colombia doesn’t exist as such,” says Winifred Tate, author of
‘Drugs, Thugs and Diplomats’, a study of US policymaking in
Colombia. “Rather, it has been a series of programs whose emphasis
has expanded and recalibrated over the years”, she says.

In
fact, former Colombia President Andres Pastrana, under whom Plan
Colombia started, admitted to The Guardian that the strategy was a
turning point in the country’s decades-old war [against FARC].
“Before the Plan, security forces were on the defensive and on the
verge of military defeat [by FARC guerrillas].”

Despite
the Plan, coca production is higher today than in 2000, at the
beginning of the Plan and Colombia remains the world’s top coca and
cocaine producer. So, Plan Colombia has not worked. A “Strategy
Change” is in order. In comes NATO, a multi-country military force,
per se, to fight crime, kill farmers who do not ‘obey’ –
continuing the fight against FARC ‘rebels’ who defend the
peasants – and therefore break the highly deceptive Peace
Agreement. A condition for the Peace Agreement was complete
disarmament of FARC. In a new war, FARC would be extremely
disadvantaged, risking to be easily eviscerated by NATO.

What
is NATO? – NATO, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, is a US
led military force stationed in Europe.

It
was created in 1949 by the United States and included Canada and
several European countries. Its main official purpose was to defend
Europe from the imaginary enemy, the communist Soviet Union.
Implicitly it also meant that Europe wouldn’t need to build up its
own defense. Big Brother would take care of it with – yes, NATO.

The
only European leader with foresight and who saw through the sham, was
General Charles
De Gaulle. In
1966 he kicked NATO out of France. In 2009, 43 years later, French
President Sarkozy, also a known CIA agent, reintegrated France into
all structures of NATO.

At
the foundation of NATO, as today, the US had and has a phobia against
anything that has anything to do with socialism, let alone communism
– which was a major justification for the arms race that enhanced
the Cold War from the late 1950’s to 1991, when the Soviet Union
collapsed. The Cold War was mostly a propaganda hype to make believe
the Soviet Union, which historically never had expansionist
ambitions, was a threat to European sovereignty. The Cold War
justified an arms race that sustained a highly profitable war
industry.

When
the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991, the justification for NATO
effectively died. It had then 12 bases in Europe. The unilateral
promise by the allied forces, expressed by then German Foreign
Minister Genscher, was that NATO would not expand one meter to the
east. Today NATO has 28 members and more than 30 bases throughout
Europe, most of them clustering around the Russian borders, a threat
to Moscow. That’s shows the honesty of western promises. This
prolific character is typical for US-led military operations, in
particular NATO. With this historic background, NATO in Colombia
would be a real and present danger for all of Latin America. NATO, an
alliance of Atlantists, has no business in Colombia, let alone in
Latin America.

NATO
in Colombia had an earlier beginning.

President
Juan Manuel Santos initiated the Colombia-NATO cooperation.
Negotiations between the former Colombian defense Minister, Juan
Carlos Pinzón, and NATO’s General
Philip Breedlove, then
NATO Commander in Europe, started in 2013 with the ‘benign’
purpose for Colombia to gain access to NATO’s “best practices in
professional standards, integrity and transparency, as well as
humanitarian operations.” Against obvious protests from Venezuela
to having NATO infiltrated in her neighboring country, President
Santos signed a “Cooperation Agreement” with NATO on 6 June 2013
in Brussels.

This
was the beginning of a covert alliance between a key Latin American
ally of Washington and NATO. Almost nobody noticed. Bringing NATO
troops to Colombia would not only be a first in Latin America, it
might wreak havoc among the non-aligned UNASUR nations, especially
among Bolivia, Ecuador and Venezuela.

NATO
in Colombia would be like a training ground for guerilla warfare,
something the transatlantic forces are not used to – but will have
to become familiar with in order to fulfill Washington’s plan to
gradually proliferate throughout South America, preventing any
attempts of left-wing uprisings. Once in strategically located
Colombia, NATO would spread like brush fire throughout the
Sub-Continent, being allowed by the neoliberal Latin American
Governments now being implanted by Washington to build countless
military bases. They would henceforth be called NATO bases. The
unpopular term, US bases, would be a thing of the past.

Latin
America, be aware and alert. Obama’s condescendingly calling Latin
America ‘Washington’s Backyard’, could become quickly a reality
with NATO in Colombia. As the famous late Uruguayan writer, Eduardo
Galeano, wisely said, “Once American troops are in your country,
you will never get rid of them.”

Freek ‘de Jonge’: “Wat minder democratie graag…..”

Gistermorgen was Freek de Jonge te gast in Standpunt NL, waar hij door de de ‘o zo leuke’, neoliberale hufter Kockelman werd bevraagd. De webpagina van Standpunt NL meldt dat: ‘Freek de Jonge doet een beroep op ons, om weer eens oog te hebben voor elkaar, oprecht te luisteren naar elkaars problemen en die op te lossen. In deze tijden van onvrede, eens een positief begin van een nieuw jaar‘ Zo daar kunnen we het wel mee doen dit jaar!!

Oog hebben voor elkaar en oprecht te luisteren naar elkaars problemen…….. Wat bedoelt de Jonge, het rampenkabinet Rutte 2, dat zoveel Nederlanders in de ellende heeft doen belanden? Moeten de kabinetsleden van dit waardeloze kabinet luisteren naar de meer dan 4 miljoen mensen die in armoede moeten leven? Ja, 4 miljoen, als je alle mensen meerekent die tegen-, op- of onder de armoedegrens moeten leven, dat betekent voor deze mensen in armoede leven! Onder die groep bevinden zich 600.000 kinderen en niet 400.000 zoals u zo vaak wordt voorgehouden door de reguliere media…….

Dat zal ‘onze Freek’ niet bedoelen, voor die groep mensen heeft hij allang geen aandacht meer en ach wat is armoede in Nederland nu eigenlijk helemaal….??!!!

Of gaat het om zaken als zwarte piet? Zou me niet verbazen, ‘onze Freek’ is vast van de school ‘zwarte piet moet kunnen, geen gezeik we leven tenslotte in Nederland, laat de gekleurden zich maar aanpassen wat betreft ‘ons cultureel erfgoed………..’

Of maakt de Jonge zich druk om de grote werkloosheid, die dik boven de één miljoen ligt, het echte cijfer, inclusief de bijstandgerechtigden en de mensen, die geen uitkering ontvangen na de WW, daar hun partner 10 cent teveel verdient……. Zal wel niet, werkloosheid is een verschijnsel dat de Jonge niet kent en iedereen die het is, zal waarschijnlijk wel werkschuw zijn in de ogen van de Jonge……..

Al de genoemde groepen moeten vooral niet zeiken over de ellende waar ze inzitten, dat is maar vervelend en niet positief aldus de Jonge……..

Vreemd genoeg zet de Jonge zich wel in voor de Groningers, die werden en worden getroffen door aardgasbevingen, maar ja dat zijn dan ook voor het overgrote deel niet de armsten in die provincie……..

Dat ‘tijden van onvrede’ doet vermoeden dat de Jonge daar schoon genoeg van heeft, hij weet dan ook hoe het is om voor een minimumsalaris te moeten werken en dan niet de vaste lasten kunnen betalen, daar de huur en de zorgpremie, plus eigen risico, een te groot deel van dat karige salaris opvreten. Er is intussen al een aardig aantal mensen, dat zelfs met twee banen amper rond kan komen………. Zij moeten niet zeiken, dat is niet positief, aldus de redenering van de Jonge…….

Niet klagen, maar vooral aardig zijn voor de regering en alle andere (overheids-) instanties, die de werkgevers, woningcorporaties, puissant rijke verzekeringsmaatschappijen, banken en grote bedrijven de kans geven, mensen op zo’n schoftenmanier uit te kleden……….. Dit alles middels ondersteuning van de reguliere (massa) media, die bijvoorbeeld ouderen durven uit te maken voor asociale opvreters, terwijl de grootste groep ouderen amper rond kan komen…….. De Jonge behoort zelf NB bij de ouderen, al is het gezien zijn vermogen, niet tot die grootste groep……..

Ouderen die lopen te klagen, dat ze hun thuishulp kwijt zijn, daar ze het geld niet hebben voor een fikse eigen bijdrage, moeten natuurlijk niet zeiken, ‘onze Freek’ weet namelijk wat dat betekent, hij ‘heeft zelf immers ook geen geld voor een thuishulp….’ En eenzaamheid zal wel je eigen schuld zijn, in het evangelie van de Jonge……….

De Jonge zat lekker in de praatstoel en stelde op een gegeven moment: “Wat minder democratie graag…” Ook kan het wel een tandje minder wat betreft openheid, hier noemde de Jonge de geheime diensten, die wat hem betreft in het geniep hun werk moeten kunnen doen, zonder gezeur over mensenrechten en privacy………..

De Jonge trad al eens embedded op in Irak en in Afghanistan, als ik me niet vergis, daarmee aangevend, het wel eens te zijn met de westerse terreur die daar werd en wordt uitgeoefend, terreur die aan zo veel burgers daar het leven heeft gekost……. Uiteraard heeft hij daaraan voorafgaand gesproken met medewerkers van de MIVD, die hij gegarandeerd ook in Irak heeft gesproken……….

WikiLeaks werd ook nog even door de Jonge als nutteloos neergezet, althans na veel hikken en gestotter durfde deze overjarige zakkenwasser te stellen, dat het buitenlandbeleid geheim moet blijven……….. Ja ja, mensen, ik dacht dat m’n oren van m’n hoofd donderden!!

Zoals gezegd, de Jonge is wel begaan met de Groningse aardgasbevingsslachtoffers, maar stelde wel, dat die Groningers ook wel zelf met een oplossing kunnen komen, die hij zelf dan ‘ook wel niet’ paraat had, maar toch…….. ‘Onze Freek’ stelt namelijk, dat de gaskraan nu eenmaal niet dicht kan, Nederland heeft verplichtingen, aldus de grappenmaker….. De Jonge begon wijselijk maar niet over het feit dat een paar Nederlandse regeringen het Nederlandse aardgas voor een grijpstuiver hebben verkocht aan het buitenland en dat Nederland onder dwingende omstandigheden het contract kan openbreken……..

Ach ja, de Jonge is steenrijk en dan ga je vanzelf neoliberaal uit je nek zwetsen……….

Je zou bijna gaan denken, dat het neoliberale begrip ‘participatiemaatschappij’ uit de peniskoker van de Jonge komt………..

Al de genoemde groepen moeten vooral niet zeiken over de ellende waar ze inzitten, dat is maar vervelend en niet positief aldus de Jonge……..

Nepnieuws gebracht door o.a. NRC, NOS en RTL Nieuws

Gegarandeerd niet het eerste ‘nepnieuws’ dat in de eerste dagen van dit jaar werd gebracht, het bericht dat agenten in Den Haag, die een collega reanimeerden, werden belaagd met vuurwerk en stenen.

Buiten dat dit nieuws werd gebracht door de fascistensites GeenStijl en De Dagelijkse Standaard, werd dit bericht zonder controle overgenomen door: NRC, NOS, RTL Nieuws, BNR, AD, Blik op Nieuws, Beveiliging Nieuws en VL Nieuws……* Kortom nepnieuws van ‘hoog niveau!’ Ach ja, lekker sensationeel zo’n bericht, dus zo snel mogelijk plaatsen!!

Trouwens, nooit eerder de namen Beveiliging Nieuws of VL Nieuws tegen gekomen. Even gekeken waar deze nieuwsorganisaties mee bezig zijn. Je kan het al raden: het zijn ‘actuele nieuwssites’ over veiligheid en leefbaarheid…… ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Gezien voornoemd bericht, kan je op z’n zachtst concluderen, dat het nieuws wat ze brengen niet meehelpt aan het gevoel van veiligheid en leefbaarheid, althans niet bij een groot aantal Hagenaars……

* Er zullen gegarandeerd meer kranten en sites zijn, die dit bericht hebben gebracht, de getoonde namen waren binnen één minuut te vinden.

Van der Steur vindt eigen nalatigheid op vuurwerkgeweld ‘onacceptabel….’ ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!

Erik Akerboom* liet na een fiks aantal incidenten met oud & nieuw in een Twitter bericht (o.a. gemeld in BNR nieuws van 8.00 u.) weten, voor een verbod op zwaar vuurwerk te zijn en voor een andere aanpak te zijn van het geweld tegen hulpverleners van: de politie, brandweer en eerste hulp…… Wat Akerboom met dat laatste bedoelde, ‘een andere aanpak’, is niet bekend, daar hij weigerde verdere uitleg te geven…..

Akerboom zit nog niet zo lang als opperagent met de koperen fluit van de Nationale Politie, maar zijn pleidooi voor die aanpak van geweld tegen hulpverleners, is in de loop van de jaren verworden tot een mantra, dat keer op keer de media haalt……..Supersnelrecht dat een paar jaar geleden werd ingevoerd, helpt niet, zoals ook dit oud & nieuw (ten overvloede) weer duidelijk is geworden…… Daarnaast is supersnelrecht een aantasting van de rechtspraak, daar een advocaat zich niet kan voorbereiden op de zaak.

Gerrit van de Kamp, de autocratische topgraaier van de christelijke politievakbond ACP**, liet weten dat er ‘concrete preventieve maatregelen’ moeten worden genomen. Hij ergerde zich voorts aan de steunbetuiging die de zwaar disfunctionerend VVD minister van Veiligheid en Justitie, van der Steur, via een Twitter bericht betuigde aan de agenten en andere hulpverleners, die alweer werden belaagd met o.a. vuurwerk, wat van der Steur ‘onacceptabel‘ neomde.

Van de Kamp eist van de politiek meer middelen ‘waar we iets mee kunnen…….’

Ongelofelijk, dat Akerboom, van de Kamp en anderen niet allang een totaal verbod op consumentenvuurwerk hebben geëist. Niet alleen worden agenten en andere hulpverleners bestookt met vuurwerk, maar ze moeten ook nog eens hun werk uitvoeren in zwaar vergiftigde lucht. Lucht vervuild, met o.a. barium, strontium (zwaar kankerverwekkend), antimoon en koper, stoffen die in de lucht vervoerd worden op fijnstof en het kankerverwekkende ultrafijnstof……..

Van der Steur en zijn voorgangers zijn verantwoordelijk voor de ontstane situatie: agenten (en andere hulpverleners) die bestookt worden met vuurwerk en tijdens hun werk worden blootgesteld aan zwaar kankerverwekkende stoffen………. Van der Steur (Opstelten en andere voorgangers) hadden allang een totaal verbod op consumentenvuurwerk moeten eisen en daar destijds hun baan voor op het spel moeten zetten, mocht blijken dat de rest van het kabinet tegen zo’n verbod zou zijn…….. Welke baas stuurt zijn personeel onder de hierboven beschreven voorwaarden de straat op…???? Ongelofelijk!!

‘Onacceptabel‘? Het is onacceptabel dat er geen verbod bestaat op consumentenvuurwerk!! Onacceptabel dat van der Steur, van de Kamp en Akerboom dat niet allang hebben geëist! Het zou dan ook volkomen terecht zijn, als van der Steur en zijn voorgangers strafrechtelijk worden vervolgd voor nalatigheid, waarmee zij het leven van hun ondergeschikten in gevaar hebben gebracht………

* In het verleden o.a. directeur Democratische Rechtsorde bij de Algemene Inlichtingen- en Veiligheidsdienst……. ha! ha! ha! Over een contradictie in terminus gesproken!

** Deze hufter misbruikte zijn macht als voorzitter van de ACP, om zijn vriendin een functie te bezorgen in het onderzoek naar de vorming van de Nationale Politie……….
