Israël de wortel van veel kwaad in het Midden-Oosten, zegt haar aanvallen op Syrië te intensiveren………

Israel
heeft laten weten, nadat een paar mortiergranaten neerkwamen in de
door haar illegaal bezette Golanhoogten, haar aanvallen op het
reguliere Syrische leger uit te breiden…..

Het
was al geen geheim dat Israël een afspraak had met
terreurgroepen aan de andere kant van de grens, waarbij afgeschoten
mortiergranaten, het sein waren voor Israël het Syrische leger aan te vallen.
Deze mortiergranaten werden dan inderdaad op de Golanhoogten
afgevuurd, op een gebied waar verder geen schade kon worden
aangericht, zoals gezegd het sein aan Israël om hulp tegen de Syrische
troepen…….

Voorts
heeft Israël al relatief kort nadat de strijd van het Syrische leger tegen ‘de gematigde rebellen’* bezig is, gewonde
terroristen opgelapt op de Golanhoogten, waarna ze hun strijd tegen
Assad en het Syrische volk konden voortzetten…….

Uiteraard zal er door westerse regeringen en al helemaal niet door de VS, protest worden aangetekend tegen deze opzichtige leugen, die Israël het ‘recht’ zou moeten geven, illegale oorlogshandelingen (oorlogsmisdaden) te verrichten………

(ANTIWAR.COM) — Claiming
more stray artillery fire landing inside the Israeli-occupied Golan
Heights, Israeli officials are promising to “step up” their
strikes against
Syrian military targets in response,
including attacks over the weekend in southern Syria.

Throughout
the Syrian War, Israel has repeatedly attacked Syrian military
targets. Syria has insisted that cross-border stray shells weren’t
fired by them ion the first place, accusing
Israel of “framing” them to justify the attacks.

Israel
doesn’t appear to really deny that, saying they don’t bother to
try to figure out who fired anything that crosses into their occupied
territory, and that they consider the Syrian military responsible for
everything. This works quite well, as Israeli politicians have been
very public about preferring a rebel victory, even
an ISIS victory, in
Syria.

Syria’s
Foreign Ministry has
urged the UN to rebuke Israel over the attacks,
saying they are violations of the UN Charter. They have further
warned continued Israeli attacks would have “grave consequences.”

op nucleair oorlogspad: B52 nucleaire bommenwerpers, voor ‘t eerst in 26
jaar, klok rond inzetbaar……….

Om de
wereld nog eens te laten zien, dat de VS schijt heeft aan vrede en alle
ontwapeningsverdragen, vooral die voor nucleaire wapens*, heeft
het Pentagon na 26 jaar, met instemming van het 666 beest Trump, besloten met
atoomwapens geladen B52 bommenwerpers weer de klokrond ‘gemobiliseerd’ te houden……..

Als
reden geeft het Pentagon onder meer aan dat het nu eenmaal een
gevaarlijke wereld is…… ha! ha! ha! ha!ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Inderdaad
het is een gevaarlijke wereld en daar is maar een ‘land’
verantwoordelijk voor, de grootste terreurentiteit die de aarde ooit
zag: de VS!!!

De wapenindustrie en de aandeelhouders kunnen feestvieren met deze beslissing van het Pentagon en Trumps junta (gedomineerd door militairen…)………………

The First Time In 26 Years, US To Put Nuclear Bombers On 24 Hour

The
unexpected decision by President Trump to amend
an emergency Sept 11 order signed by
George W Bush, allowing the Air Force to recall up to 1,000 retired
air force pilots to address what the Pentagon has decribed as “an
acute shortage of pilots” caught us by surprise. After all, this
was the first time we have heard of this particular labor shortage –
perhaps there was more to this executive order than meets the eye.
Indeed, a just released report may help explain the reasoning behind
this presidential decision.

According
to Defense
One, the
US Air Force is preparing to put nuclear-armed bombers back on
24-hour ready alert, a status not seen since the Cold War ended in
1991.

That
means the long-dormant concrete pads at the ends of Barksdale Air
Force Base’s 11,000-foot runway — dubbed the “Christmas tree”
for their angular markings — could once again find several B-52s
parked on them, laden with nuclear weapons and set to take off at a
moment’s notice.

“This
is yet one more step in ensuring that we’re prepared,” Gen.
David Goldfein, Air Force chief of staff, told the publication in an
interview during his six-day tour of Barksdale and other U.S. Air
Force bases that support the nuclear mission. “I
look at it more as not planning for any specific event, but more for
the reality of the global situation we find ourselves in and how we
ensure we’re prepared going forward.”

Quoted
by Defense One, Goldfein and other senior defense officials stressed
that the alert order had not been given, but that preparations were
under way in anticipation that it might come. That decision would be
made by Gen. John Hyten, the commander of U.S. Strategic Command, or
Gen. Lori Robinson, the head of U.S. Northern Command. STRATCOM is in
charge of the military’s nuclear forces and NORTHCOM is in charge
of defending North America.

Putting
the B-52s back on alert is just one of many decisions facing the Air
Force as the U.S. military responds to a changing geopolitical
environment that includes North Korea’s rapidly advancing nuclear
arsenal, President Trump’s confrontational approach to Pyongyang,
and Russia’s increasingly potent and active armed forces.

Goldfein,
who is the Air Force’s top officer and a member of the Joint Chiefs
of Staff, is
asking his force to think about new ways that nuclear weapons could
be used for deterrence, or even combat.

by Def One, he said that “the world is a dangerous place and we’ve
got folks that are talking openly about use of nuclear weapons. It’s
no longer a bipolar world where it’s just us and the Soviet
Union. We’ve
got other players out there who have nuclear capability. It’s never
been more important to make sure that we get this mission
right.” During
his trip across the country last week, Goldfein encouraged airmen to
think beyond Cold War uses for ICBMs, bombers and nuclear cruise
missiles.

“I’ve
challenged…Air Force Global Strike Command to help lead the dialog,
help with this discussion about ‘What does conventional conflict
look like with a nuclear element?’ and ‘Do we respond as a global
force if that were to occur?’ and ‘What are the options?’” he
said. “How do we think about it — how do we think about
deterrence in that environment?”


Asked
if placing B-52s back on alert — as they were for decades — would
help with deterrence, Goldfein said it’s hard to say.

“Really
it depends on who, what kind of behavior are we talking about, and
whether they’re paying attention to our readiness status,” he
said.

Meanwhile,
various improvements have already been made to prepare Barksdale —
home to the 2d Bomb Wing and Air Force Global Strike Command, which
oversees the service’s nuclear forces — to
return B-52s to an alert posture. Near
the alert pads, an old concrete building — where B-52 crews during
the Cold War would sleep, ready to run to their aircraft and take off
at a moment’s notice — is being renovated.

Inside,
beds are being installed for more than 100 crew members, more than
enough room for the crews that would man bombers positioned on the
nine alert pads outside. There’s a recreation room, with a pool
table, TVs and a shuffleboard table. Large paintings of the patches
for each squadron at Barksdale adorn the walls of a large stairway.

One
painting — a symbol of the Cold War — depicts a silhouette of a
B-52 with the words “Peace The Old Fashioned Way,” written
underneath. At the bottom of the stairwell, there is a Strategic Air
Command logo, yet another reminder of the Cold War days when American
B-52s sat at the ready on the runway outside.

Those
long-empty B-52 parking spaces will soon get visits by two nuclear
command planes, the E-4B Nightwatch and E-6B Mercury, both which will
occasionally sit alert there. During a nuclear war, the planes would
become the flying command posts of the defense secretary and STRATCOM
commander, respectively. If a strike order is given by the president,
the planes would be used to transmit launch codes to bombers, ICBMs
and submarines. At least one of the four nuclear-hardened E-4Bs —
formally called the National Airborne Operations Center, but commonly
known as the Doomsday Plane — is always on 24-hour alert.

Barksdale
and other bases with nuclear bombers are preparing to build storage
facilities for a new nuclear cruise missile that is under
development. During his trip, Goldfein received updates on the
preliminary work for a proposed replacement for the 400-plus
Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missiles, and the new
long-range cruise missile.

“Our
job is options,” Goldfein told Defense One’s Marcus Weisgerber. “We
provide best military advice and options for the commander and chief
and the secretary of defense. Should the STRATCOM commander require
or the NORTHCOM commander require us to [be on] a higher state of
readiness to defend the homeland, then we have to have a place to put
those forces.”

And
now that the US is preparing for immediate nuclear war readiness, all
it needs is a provocation, one which a world which has never been
more on edge over a stray tweet, may have little difficulty in
finding…

De deze week aftredend disfunctionerend minister, PvdA opperhufter Plasterk, heeft als één van zijn laatste (mis-) daden Sint Maarten gechanteerd, dit eiland krijgt alleen hulp na de verwoestende orkaan, als het akkoord gaat met voorwaarden die Plasterk heeft gesteld……

Dit nadat Nederland nooit heeft gezorgd, ook niet na de verwoestende orkaan Luis in 1995, dat het eiland orkaan bestendig is gemaakt…. Als je van het Franse deel van Sint Maarten (Saint-Martin) het Nederlandse Sint Maarten binnenrijdt, is het alsof je van een ontwikkeld land, een ontwikkelingsland binnenrijdt en dat geldt dan nog alleen voor de infrastructuur……  Plasterk had het gore lef zijn voorwaarden te stellen, nadat veel mensen op het piepkleine eiland pas een week na de orkaan van voedsel en medicijnen werden voorzien…… Gevolg daarvan was, dat mensen winkels plunderden, plunderingen die Plasterk uit en te na veroordeelde, zonder oog te hebben voor de wanhoop van mensen……….

Voor ‘de goede orde’: uiteraard spreek ik hier niet over de kleine groep mensen, die misbruik maakten van de orkaan om tv’s en dergelijke uit winkels of huizen te stelen, waar Plasterk deze wel over één kam scheerde met mensen die voedsel, water en medicijnen uit gesloten winkels haalden…….

Anderhalve maand na orkaan Irma is het nog steeds een puinbak op Sint Maarten, het grootste deel van de huizen ligt nog ‘gewoon’ plat…..

Maakt Plasterk allemaal niet uit, ook in deze als falend minister van een in feite puissant rijk land, stelt hij doodleuk dat Sint Maarten eerst een ‘integriteitskamer’ moet instellen…….. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Als er nu één land een ‘integriteitskamer’ nodig heeft is het Nederland wel, zeker als je ziet wat Rutte 1 en 2 hebben gepresteerd: de rijken zijn er dik op vooruit gegaan en de armoede (mensen die tegen, op of onder de armoedegrens moeten leven) is gestegen tot boven de 4 miljoen mensen, waaronder zo’n 600.000 kinderen, het echte cijfer en niet het door het regeringsgetrouwe cijfergoochelinstituut CBS geleverde en gepimpte cijfer t.b.v. Rutte 2……..

Om nog maar te zwijgen over de luchtkwaliteit in Nederland die zelfs achterloopt bij veel Oost-Europese EU landen, ook daar hebben Rutte 1 en 2 niets aan veranderd, hetzelfde zal opgaan voor Rutte 3, zeker als je ziet dat de kolencentrales tot 2030 door mogen gaan met het verkankeren van de luchtkwaliteit…….. Ook de maximumsnelheid van 130 km/u. wordt gehandhaafd door Rutte 3, hoewel dit de lucht extra vervuilt…… Rutte 3 met 2 ‘christelijke’ partijen!!

Terug naar Sint Maarten: voorts wil Plasterk dat Nederland de grensbewaking van Sint Maarten overneemt……. Als de premier van Sint Maarten, William Marlin en zijn kabinet niet akkoord gaan met deze belachelijke chantage, kan Sint Maarten het vergeten, wat betreft hulp uit Nederland voor dit zwaar getroffen eiland……..

Bij deze wil ik dan ook de wens uitspreken dat Plasterk en de rest van zijn familie in diepe armoede wegzinken, waarbij de overheid hen het vuur aan de schenen legt! Ach een ijdele hoop, zoals u begrijpt…… Uiteraard krijgt deze flapdrol weer een politieke benoeming op een dik betaalde functie……

Toevallig is iets dergelijks gaande in Texas. De stad Dickinson pakt hierbij uiteraard niet het eigen bestuur aan, dat sinds orkaan Harvey veel te weinig deed, nee de bewoners die zich in het verleden of op dit moment verzetten, tegen de uiterst gewelddadige apartheidspolitiek van de fascistisch-zionistische staat Israël, zullen geen hulp ontvangen bij de opbouw van hun verwoeste huizen……

Hier een bericht van Anti-Media over deze zaak, dat al even op de stapel concepten lag:

Met andere woorden: als je je in het verleden bijvoorbeeld hebt uitgelaten voor de BDS beweging kan je overheidshulp wel vergeten…….. In welk ander westers land is zoiets mogelijk, anders dan de grootste vereniging van terreurstaten, de VS…….. De VS het middels een genocide gestolen land van de ‘ongekende mogelijkheden’, zo blijkt ten overvloede maar weer eens…..!!

Texas City Demands Hurricane Harvey Victims Support Israel to Get Relief

(ANTIMEDIA) Dickinson, TX — Government suppression of free speech can take many forms. It’s not always censorship in the media or storm troopers in the streets bashing in the heads of protesters. For proof of this, one need look no further than Dickinson, Texas.

The small coastal town southeast of Houston took some of the worst Hurricane Harvey had to offer, with almost 7,400 homes damaged — many of them beyond repair. In response, the city council decided to set up a relief fund. People can donate to the city, and then a committee distributes the money to residents on a case-by-case basis.

As it clearly states in published minutes of the October 10 meeting of the Dickinson city council — the meeting where the program was discussed — taxpayer funding is not an issue because “no City dollars are being spent or received.” Individuals donate to the city, and the city allots that money to hurricane victims.

The city government appears to be acting as nothing more than a go-between, a means by which to connect people who need help with people willing to give it. But apparently, due to a recent law passed in Texas, the city is requiring people to make a pledge before they can receive any aid — one that cuts straight to the heart of free speech.

Right in the grant application, The Dickinson city council says residents cannot participate in the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement against Israel. From that form:

“By executing this Agreement below, the Applicant verifies that the Applicant: (1) does not boycott Israel; and (2) will not boycott Israel during the term of this Agreement.”

If it sounds to you like a governmental body is requiring citizens to adhere to a particular political ideology before they can receive aid following a natural disaster, then your hearing is just fine. That’s what the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) also heard, and they felt obliged to say something about it. From a press release on Thursday:

“The city of Dickinson, Texas, is requiring applicants for Hurricane Harvey rebuilding funds to certify in writing that they will not take part in a boycott of Israel. The American Civil Liberties Union criticized the city’s condition as a violation of free speech rights.”

Andre Segura, legal director for the ACLU of Texas, says the pledge reminds him of another time in America’s past:

“The First Amendment protects Americans’ right to boycott, and the government cannot condition hurricane relief or any other public benefit on a commitment to refrain from protected political expression. Dickinson’s requirement is an egregious violation of the First Amendment, reminiscent of McCarthy-era loyalty oaths requiring Americans to disavow membership in the Communist party and other forms of ‘subversive’ activity.”

As the ACLU points out in its press release, the Dickinson city council appears to be trying to enforce a Texas law passed in May that forbids government agencies from contracting with companies that boycott Israel. Text from Section 1 of House Bill 89 is almost identical to the provision in the Dickinson application form.

Dickinson’s city attorney told local KTRK the council was only following the law, though how exactly a law pertaining to companies contracting with state agencies applies to a city council handing out publicly donated money remains unclear. After all, as the council itself stated, “no City dollars are being spent or received.”

Local attorney Randy Kallinen says the ACLU is right on target.

“The application clearly requires people to have a certain political expression in order to get government benefits,” he told KTRK.

Kallinen also pointed out the obvious fact that people recovering from a natural disaster shouldn’t be required to pledge themselves to anything — let alone stipulations from a government body — other than putting their lives back together.

“Conditioning the much-needed relief from Harvey and other disasters upon adopting a certain political position is really something that is very distracting and slows down the process of rebuilding after Harvey,” he said.

Make no mistake, this is suppression of free speech. The Supreme Court ruled decades ago that people have a constitutionally protected right to boycott under the First Amendment. If restrictions similar to what is happening in Dickinson are allowed to stand, how long will it be before it becomes routine practice for governments — even local ones — try to tell you what you can and can’t think?

Oorlogsmisdadiger Hillary Clinton* heeft een boek geschreven, het kan u bijna niet zijn ontgaan. In dit boek durft deze leugenaar de schuld voor het verlies van de VS-presidentsverkiezingen bij anderen te leggen, terwijl ze van meet af aan een heel smerige campagne leidde tegen haar mede democratische kandidaat Sanders………

Een lid van haar campagneteam, Seth Rich was het niet eens met deze smerige campagne en hij lekte documenten naar Wikileaks, die aangaven dat Clinton de boel had belogen en bedrogen, dus niet de Russen zoals de reguliere media en het grootste deel van de westerse politici tot op de dag van vandaag volhouden……. Deze Rich werd na het lekken van de documenten ‘toevallig’ vermoord, volgens de politie een roofmoord, hoewel er niets van Rich werd gestolen, zelfs zichtbare sieraden niet……. Je zal begrijpen dat deze moord Clinton wel heel goed uitkwam…….

De reguliere (massa-) media staan voor het overgrote deel nog steeds achter Clinton, ondanks al haar bewezen leugens….. Voorts zou Clinton een kampioen vrouwenemancipatie zijn, dit terwijl het haar geen reet interesseert, dat ze een groot aantal vrouwen in diepe ellende heeft gedompeld en zelfs een groot aantal vrouwen heeft vermoord, middels het vermaledijde en grootschalige terroristische VS buitenlandbeleid…….

Zoals je waarschijnlijk wel weet, gebeurde dit in de illegale oorlogen tegen Afghanistan, Irak, Libië en Syrië…… Wat betreft die laatste: van meet af aan, heeft Clinton in haar functie ingezet op het onrust stoken in Syrië, daar Assad moest verdwijnen (een VS plan dat in 2006 weer uit de koelkast werd gehaald). Waar nog aan toegevoegd moet worden, dat Clinton één op één verantwoordelijk was voor de illegale oorlog tegen Libië, een oorlog die aan naar schatting 40.000 mensen het leven heeft gekost (moorden) en waarin de Libische leider Khadaffi gruwelijk werd vermoord…….

Libie is nu één grote chaos en alle ellende die bijvoorbeeld de vluchtelingen uit conflictgebieden in Afrika overkomt (mensen die naar Europa willen vluchten), zoals verkrachting, marteling en slavernij zijn te danken aan het ingrijpen van Clinton…….. Onder Khadaffi was Libië het rijkste land van Afrika en waren huisvesting, energie, gezondheidszorg, scholing en zelfs studie (ook voor vrouwen) in het buitenland, zo goed als gratis…….

Daarnaast was er nog de coup tegen de democratisch gekozen Hondurese regering in 2009, een coup die tot een berg geweld leidde en waarvoor Clinton één van de hoofdverantwoordelijken is………

Mensen ik snap niet waar Clinton het gore lef vandaan haalt, om zichzelf als slachtoffer uit te roepen, ongelofelijk, ongeloofwaardig, onverdraaglijk en ronduit schunnig!!

Australia’s
public broadcasting network gave Hillary Clinton an open mic to
defame WikiLeaks’ Julian Assange as “a tool of Russian
intelligence” without giving him a chance to respond.

(CN) — On
Oct. 16, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation aired an interview
with Hillary Clinton: one of many to promote her score-settling book
about why she was not elected President of the United States.

Wading
through the Clinton book, What
Happened, is
an unpleasant experience, like a stomach upset. Smears and tears.
Threats and enemies. “They” (voters) were brainwashed and herded
against her by the odious Donald Trump in cahoots with sinister Slavs
sent from the great darkness known as Russia, assisted by an
Australian “nihilist,” Julian Assange.

In The New
York Times, there
was a striking photograph of a female reporter consoling Clinton,
having just interviewed her. The lost leader was, above all,
“absolutely a feminist.” The thousands of women’s lives this
“feminist” destroyed while in government — Libya, Syria,
Honduras — were of no interest.

In New
York magazine,
Rebecca Trainster wrote that Clinton was finally “expressing some
righteous anger.” It was even hard for her to smile: “so hard
that the muscles in her face ache.” Surely, she concluded, “if we
allowed women’s resentments the same bearing we allow men’s
grudges, America would be forced to reckon with the fact that all
these angry women might just have a point.”

Drivel
such as this, trivializing women’s struggles, marks the media
hagiographies of Hillary Clinton. Her political extremism and
warmongering are of no consequence. Her problem, wrote Trainster, was
a “damaging infatuation with the email story.” The truth, in
other words.

The
leaked emails of Clinton’s campaign manager, John Podesta, revealed
a direct connection between Clinton and the foundation and funding of
organized jihadism in the Middle East and Islamic State (known as
ISIS, ISIL or Daesh). The ultimate source of most Islamic terrorism,
Saudi Arabia, was central to her career.

One
email, in 2014, sent by Clinton to Podesta soon after she stepped
down as U.S. Secretary of State, discloses that Islamic State is
funded by the governments of Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Clinton accepted
huge donations from both governments for the Clinton Foundation.

As
Secretary of State, she approved the world’s biggest ever arms sale
to her benefactors in Saudi Arabia, worth more than $80 billion.
Thanks to her, U.S. arms sales to the world – for use in stricken
countries like Yemen – doubled.

This
was revealed by WikiLeaks and published by The New
York Times. No
one doubts the emails are authentic. The subsequent campaign to smear
WikiLeaks and its editor-in-chief, Julian Assange, as “agents of
Russia,” has grown into a spectacular fantasy known as
“Russiagate.” The “plot” is said to have been signed off on
by Vladimir Putin himself. There is not a shred of public evidence.

Smear
and Omission

The
ABC Australia interview with Clinton is an outstanding example of
smear and censorship by omission. I would say it is a model.

“No
one,” the interviewer, Sarah Ferguson, says to Clinton, “could
fail to be moved by the pain on your face at that moment [of the
inauguration of Trump] … Do you remember how visceral it was for
you?”

Having
established Clinton’s visceral suffering, Ferguson asks about
“Russia’s role.”

CLINTON:
I think Russia affected the perceptions and views of millions of
voters, we now know. I think that their intention coming from the
very top with Putin was to hurt me and to help Trump.

FERGUSON:
How much of that was a personal vendetta by Vladimir Putin against
you?

CLINTON:
… I mean he wants to destabilize democracy. He wants to undermine
America, he wants to go after the Atlantic Alliance and we consider
Australia kind of a … an extension of that …

(The
opposite is true. It is a combination of Western armies massing on
Russia’s border for the first time since the Russian Revolution 100
years ago.)

FERGUSON:
How much damage did [Julian Assange] do personally to you?

CLINTON:
Well, I had a lot of history with him because I was Secretary of
State when, ah, WikiLeaks published a lot of very sensitive, ah,
information from our State Department and our Defense Department.

(What
Clinton fails to say – and her interviewer fails to remind her –
is that in 2010, WikiLeaks revealed that Secretary of State Hillary
Clinton had ordered a secret intelligence campaign targeted at the
United Nations leadership, including the Secretary General, Ban
Ki-Moon and the permanent Security Council representatives from
China, Russia, France and the U.K. A classified directive, signed by
Clinton, was issued to U.S. diplomats in July 2009, demanding
forensic technical details about the communications systems used by
top U.N. officials, including passwords and personal encryption keys
used in private and commercial networks. This was known as Cablegate.
It was lawless spying.)

CLINTON:
He [Assange] is very clearly a tool of Russian intelligence. And, ah,
he has done their bidding.

(Clinton
offered no evidence to back up this serious accusation, nor did
Ferguson challenge her.)

CLINTON:
You don’t see damaging negative information coming out about the
Kremlin on WikiLeaks. You didn’t see any of that published.

(This
was false. WikiLeaks has published a massive number of documents on
Russia – more than 800,000, most of them critical, many of them
used in books and as evidence in court cases.)

A
‘Nihilistic Opportunist’

CLINTON:
So I think Assange has become a kind of nihilistic opportunist who
does the bidding of a dictator.

FERGUSON: Lots
of people, including in Australia, think that Assange is a martyr for
free speech and freedom of information. How would you describe him?
Well, you’ve just described him as a nihilist.

CLINTON:
Yeah, well, and a tool. I mean he’s a tool of Russian intelligence.
And if he’s such, ah, you know, martyr of free speech, why doesn’t
WikiLeaks ever publish anything coming out of Russia?

(Again,
Ferguson said nothing to challenge this or correct her.)

CLINTON:
There was a concerted operation between WikiLeaks and Russia and most
likely people in the United States to weaponize that information, to
make up stories … to help Trump.

FERGUSON:
Now, along with some of those outlandish stories, there was
information that was revealed about the Clinton Foundation that at
least in some of the voters’ minds seemed to associate you ….

CLINTON:
Yeah, but it was false!

FERGUSON:
… with the peddling of information …

CLINTON:
It was false! It was totally false!  …..

FERGUSON:
Do you understand how difficult it was for some voters to understand
the amounts of money that the [Clinton] Foundation is raising, the
confusion with the consultancy that was also raising money, getting
gifts and travel and so on for Bill Clinton that even Chelsea had
some issues with? …

CLINTON:
Well you know, I’m sorry, Sarah, I mean I, I know the facts….

Generational
‘Icon’

The
ABC interviewer lauded Clinton as “the icon of your generation.”
She asked her nothing about the enormous sums she creamed off from
Wall Street, such as the $675,000 for speaking to Goldman Sachs, one
of the banks at the center of the 2008 crash. Clinton’s greed
deeply upset the kind of voters she abused as “deplorables.”

Clearly
looking for a cheap headline in the Australian press, Ferguson asked
her if Trump was “a clear and present danger to Australia” and
got her predictable response.

This
high-profile journalist made no mention of Clinton’s own “clear
and present danger” to the people of Iran whom she once threatened
to “obliterate totally,” and the 40,000 Libyans who died in the
attack on Libya in 2011 that Clinton orchestrated. Flushed with
excitement, the Secretary of State rejoiced at the gruesome murder of
the Libyan leader, Colonel Gaddafi.

“Libya
was Hillary Clinton’s war,” Julian Assange said in a filmed
interview with me last year. “Barack Obama initially opposed it.
Who was the person championing it? Hillary Clinton. That’s
documented throughout her emails … there’s more than 1,700 emails
out of the 33,000 Hillary Clinton emails that we’ve published, just
about Libya. It’s not that Libya has cheap oil. She perceived the
removal of Gaddafi and the overthrow of the Libyan state —
something that she would use in her run-up to the general election
for President.

“So
in late 2011 there is an internal document called the Libya Tick Tock
that was produced for Hillary Clinton, and it’s the chronological
description of how she was the central figure in the destruction of
the Libyan state, which resulted in around 40,000 deaths within
Libya; jihadists moved in, ISIS moved in, leading to the European
refugee and migrant crisis.

“Not
only did you have people fleeing Libya, people fleeing Syria, the
destabilization of other African countries as a result of arms flows,
but the Libyan state itself was no longer able to control the
movement of people through it.”

This
– not Clinton’s “visceral” pain in losing to Trump nor the
rest of the self-serving scuttlebutt in her ABC interview – was the
story. Clinton shared responsibility for massively de-stabilizing the
Middle East, which led to the death, suffering and flight of
thousands of women, men and children.

Ferguson
raised not a word of it. Clinton repeatedly defamed Assange, who was
neither defended nor offered a right of reply on his own country’s
state broadcaster.

In
a tweet from London, Assange cited the ABC’s own Code of Practice,
which states: “Where allegations are made about a person or
organisation, make reasonable efforts in the circumstances to provide
a fair opportunity to respond.”

‘Putin’s
Bitch’

Following
the ABC broadcast, Ferguson’s executive producer, Sally Neighbour,
re-tweeted the following: “Assange is Putin’s bitch. We all know
it!”

The
slander, since deleted, was even used as a link to the ABC interview
captioned ‘Assange is Putins (sic) b****. We all know it!’

In
the years I have known Julian Assange, I have watched a vituperative
personal campaign try to stop him and WikiLeaks. It has been a
frontal assault on whistleblowing, on free speech and free
journalism, all of which are now under sustained attack from
governments and corporate Internet controllers.

The
first serious attacks on Assange came from the Guardian, which, like
a spurned lover, turned on its besieged former source, having hugely
profited from WikiLeaks’ disclosures. With not a penny going to
Assange or WikiLeaks, a Guardian book led to a lucrative Hollywood
movie deal. Assange was portrayed as “callous” and a “damaged
personality.”

It
was as if a rampant jealousy could not accept that his remarkable
achievements stood in marked contrast to that of his detractors in
the “mainstream” media. It is like watching the guardians of the
status quo, regardless of age, struggling to silence real dissent and
prevent the emergence of the new and hopeful.

Today,
Assange remains a political refugee from the war-making dark state of
which Donald Trump is a caricature and Hillary Clinton the
embodiment. His resilience and courage are astonishing. Unlike him,
his tormentors are cowards.

Wat er in Diekstra is gevaren weet ik niet, maar hij had afgelopen zaterdag zijn dag niet, toen hij te gast was in de TROS Nieuwsshow.

Diekstra vertelde daar dat er na aanslagen nooit verteld wordt of er mannen verantwoordelijk zijn voor die aanslag(en)…….. Weet niet waar Diekstra deze nonsens vandaan haalt, daar er wel degelijk wordt gemeld of er mannen verantwoordelijk zijn, en nee, men noemt dat niet apart, maar laat dit woord (man) horen in de zinnen waarmee het nieuws over aanslagen wordt gemeld. Bovendien zo gauw als de namen van aanslagplegers bekend worden gemaakt, blijft het geslacht van de daders niet geheim, immers een voornaam als Mohammed wordt niet aan meisjes maar aan jongens gegeven……….

Tja dan heb je het over daders met een moslim achtergrond. Overigens zijn er in het verleden al meerdere aanslagen gepleegd door vrouwen, als is het aantal aanslagen door mannen inderdaad groter. Dat geldt dan zoals gezegd voor terreur met een islam link, echter als je kijkt naar wat door het westen als terroristen wordt aangemerkt, neem de FARC in Colombia, daar wel degelijk een groot aantal vrouwen meevochten, of hielpen bij aanslagen tegen het uiterst gewelddadige Colombiaanse leger, of politie…….

Over legers gesproken, misschien moet Diekstra zich eens verdiepen in waarom er aanslagen worden uitgevoerd door mensen die zich islamiet noemen, immers dan zou hij zien, dat er één op één verband is met de grootschalige terreur die de grootste terreurentiteit op aarde, de VS, met hulp van haar oorlogshond de NAVO, over een deel van de wereld brengt. Zo voert de VS Illegale oorlogen, geheime militaire CIA acties en organiseert het opstanden en staatsgrepen, om economische terreur van de VS niet te vergeten (zoals al een aantal jaren tegen Venezuela)…… Tot slot is daar nog het hacken en afluisteren van zelfs bevriende staten en staatshoofden door de VS en ga nog maar even door (zie Wikileaks en de Vault 7 documenten op die website…)……

En Dijkstra, bij dat soort terreur wint de vrouw steeds meer terrein, zie het Nederlandse leger, al blijft de hoofdmoot natuurlijk de gewone psychopathische ‘Befehl ist Befehl man’ in uniform……… Overigens die psychopaten worden aangestuurd door de politiek en ook daar is de vrouw bezig met een opmars, om het nog maar eens in militaire termen te zeggen!!! (ook al is ook daar het aantal vrouwen nog steeds onder de maat, al kan je je tegenwoordig afvragen of vrouwen daar niet trots op moeten zijn, zeker als je ziet hoe groot het aantal politici is, dat d.m.v. leugens en valse beloften de bevolking het ene na het andere oor aannaait……..

Iraanse milities die samen met de Koerden ISIS bestreden, moeten Irak verlaten, zo stelt Tillerson (VS BuZa)……..

Rex Tillerson, de huidige minister van Buitenlandse Zaken in de VS, is dezelfde schoft die eerder topgraaier was van ExxonMobile, het bedrijf dat al in de 80er jaren wist dat klimaatverandering wordt veroorzaakt door de mens, terwijl hij dit tot op de dag van vandaag ‘gewoon’ blijft ontkennen…….

Deze Tillerson, die zonder meer kan worden aangemerkt als oorlogsmisdadiger en die mede verantwoordelijk is voor de klimaatverandering en de daarbij horende natuurrampen, had het gore lef te eisen dat Iraanse milities Irak moeten verlaten, terwijl nu juist deze milities samen met de Koerden succes hadden in de bestrijding van IS (ISIS). Tegelijkertijd bestreed de VS deze terreurgroep zogenaamd middels niet bestaande, of ver uit de buurt van IS gedane bombardementen (het is zelfs bekend geworden dat de VS een paar keer een stuk woestijn heeft gebombardeerd, onder het mom IS te hebben gebombardeerd, terwijl er in kilometers omtrek geen levende ziel te vinden was…)…… Sterker nog: er zijn bewijzen, dat de VS in Irak minstens 2 keer wapens heeft geleverd aan IS…….

Dezelfde VS die schijt had aan oproepen van de VN een paar afzonderlijke landen, te stoppen met bombarderen van o.a. West-Mosul, waarbij de VS een groot aantal burgers vermoordde….. (datzelfde gebeurde onlangs weer in Raqqa) Dit terwijl de VS, m.n. middels Tillerson en VS ambassadeur bij de VN, Haley, Rusland en Syrië continu veroordelen voor het begaan van oorlogsmisdaden, waarvoor overigens telkens weer geen flinter bewijs wordt geleverd……. Rusland en Syrië besloten een paar maanden voor de bevrijding van Aleppo (bevrijding van de enorme terreur o.a. begaan door de ‘gematigde IS rebellen’) te stoppen met bombarderen, juist om zoveel mogelijk burgerslachtoffers te voorkomen……..

US
Secretary of State Rex Tillerson on Sunday demanded that Iranian
“militias” leave Iraq. He was speaking at a press
conference in Riyadh, where the US diplomat is holding talks with top
Gulf officials.

“Certainly
Iranian militias that are in Iraq, now that the fighting against [the
Islamic State group] is coming to a close, those militias need to go
home,” Tillerson said.

“All
foreign fighters need to go home.”

There
are thought to be as many as 120,000 fighters belong to the Popular
Mobilisation Units (PMUs), volunteer fighting groups comprised of
previously existing organisations and groups formed after a call by
religious leader Ali al-Sistani in 2014 to protect Iraq from IS.

Although
the groups are largely paid by the government in Baghdad, the
most-established groups are ultimately loyal to Iran and have engaged
in sectarian reprisals against Sunnis.

Tillerson’s
Gulf visit comes as part of concerted efforts to curb Iran’s
influence in the region including boosting the clout of Sunni-ruled
Saudi Arabia in Iraq, where Iran backs Shia militias fighting in the
north.

As
well as talks with senior Saudi officials in Riyadh including King
Salman, Tillerson attended a landmark meeting between Saudi Arabia
and Iraq aimed at upgrading strategic ties between the Arab
neighbours.

The
meeting appears aimed at boosting Sunni-ruled Saudi Arabia’s clout in
Shia-majority Iraq, part of a wider regional battle for influence
that extends from Syria to Yemen.

Tillerson’s
visit comes after President Donald Trump refused to certify the Iran
nuclear deal, leaving its fate to the US Congress, and laid out an
aggressive new strategy against Tehran in a bellicose speech. 

“This
event highlights the strength and breadth as well as the great
potential of the relations between your countries,” Tillerson
said at the first meeting of the joint Saudi-Iraqi coordination
council in Riyadh.

Following
years of tensions with Riyadh, Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi
hailed the meeting as an “important step toward enhancing
relations,” while King Salman warned of the dangers of
“extremism, terrorism, as well as attempts to destabilise our
countries”.

The
question of Iranian influence has also been at the heart of the
diplomatic conflict between Saudi Arabia and Qatar, and Tillerson
headed to Doha later on Sunday for talks on defusing the crisis
between two key US allies.

Saudi
Arabia, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates and Egypt cut ties with
Qatar and imposed an embargo in June, accusing it of supporting
terrorism and cosying up to Iran.

Doha
denies the charges and has rejected their terms for a settlement.

Tillerson
made an unsuccessful attempt to resolve the dispute during a trip to
the region in July.

Afgelopen zaterdag was PvdA hufter Paul Tang één van de gasten in TROS Kamerbreed. Had geen zin te luisteren, daar ik tegenwoordig al misselijk wordt als ik de zever en waardeloos politiek verslaggever Kees Boonman hoor praten, hij is de presentator van dit programma.

Per ongeluk stemde ik rond 13.38 u. af op Radio1. Daar hoorde ik Tang parmantig verkondigen dat je gezamenlijk moet optrekken tegen multinationals (ik neem aan dat hij bedoelde om de macht van multinationals te breken……) ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!

Tang is zoals gezegd lid van de PvdA, een partij die op z’n zachtst gezegd iets te vaak heeft laten horen achter CETA en TTIP te staan, vrijhandelsverdragen die nu juist de macht van multinationals fiks vergroot, waarbij geheime rechtbanken  (ISDS) afzonderlijke landen, of zelfs de EU bij de multinationals-les houdt, of beter gezegd: waarbij regels ter bescherming van consumenten tot een niveau van nul en generlei waarde worden verklaard en die van multinationals als leidend…………

Om te laten zien dat Paul Tang schijt heeft aan wat het volk wil, stelde hij even later dat de Britten niet wisten waar ze voor stemden in het Brexit referendum……. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Ja, je tuigt een achterlijk zwaar geld verslindend orgaan als de EU op, waarbij je keer op keer tegen de wil van een groot deel van de EU bevolking besluiten neemt. Besluiten die deze zelfde bevolking zwaar frustreren en dan vind je het gek dat wanneer er een EU referendum wordt gehouden (of een referendum dat daar aan refereert, zoals het Oekraïne-referendum), er steevast een meerderheid van bevolkingen tegen de EU is, zoals in 2005, 2014 of 2016………

Als klap op de vuurpijl verklaar je dan dat referenda niet de wil van het volk weergeven, sterker nog je gaat als EU en één van haar topgraaiers, t.w. flapdrol Juncker en nu weer Rutte 3, het volk van de EU en Nederland voorhouden dat we een echte EU regering, leger en justitie nodig hebben……….. Waar wat betreft Nederland bij opgemerkt dient te worden, dat we in de EU, als deze zaken voor elkaar zijn gebracht, echt geen bliksem meer te vertellen hebben!! Sterker nog: mocht het Nederlandse volk daarna de kont tegen de krib gooien, kan de EU zelfs het EU leger inzetten om orde op zaken te stellen in ons land, immers onze soevereiniteit is tegen die tijd van ondergeschikt belang……

‘Mooi voorbeeld’ is Griekenland, waar de bevolking aan de bedelstaf is geraakt door EU en IMF bemoeienis en leeft onder de knoet van de EU….. Terwijl de EU en het IMF (noch de diverse centrale banken, zoals De Nederlandse Bank onder CDA plork en zever Wellink), nooit aan de bel trokken, toen men op grote schaal geld verstrekte aan de opvolgende corrupte Griekse regeringen……… Zelfs een kind had kunnen voorspellen dat dit mis zou lopen……. Niet geheel toevallig dat PvdA volksverlakker Dijsselbloem, de gesel van de Grieken, hier als voorzitter van de Eurogroep, een heel smerige hoofdrol in speelt en speelde…….

Laten we hopen dat de PvdA de volgende keer volledig uit de Kamer ‘wordt gestemd’, het zou volkomen terecht zijn, jezus was een oplichters!!!

Rajoy neemt gas terug, maar verklaart in feite tegelijkertijd dat hij het Catalaanse parlement buiten werking zal stellen……….

Rajoy, de fascistische premier van Spanje, stelt binnenkort het Catalaanse parlement buiten werking, zoveel is wel duidelijk……. Nog steeds houdt hij een slag om de arm, maar stelt tegelijkertijd alvast dat de Catalanen aankomende januari in ‘vrije verkiezingen’ een nieuwe deelregering mogen kiezen en dat hij zo snel mogelijk verkiezingen zal uitschrijven……..

Dat Rajoy een slag om de arm houdt is puur en alleen om de kritiek in binnen- en buitenland op het keiharde optreden o.l.v. de Guardia Civil enigszins te dempen. Geweld bevolen door de corrupte regering Rajoy, gericht tegen mensen die vreedzaam gebruik maakten van hun democratisch recht te stemmen in een (vrij) referendum voor of tegen de onafhankelijkheid van Catalonië…… De regering Rajoy heeft zelfs geen moeite gedaan een tegen campagne op poten te zetten!

Het is meer dan duidelijk dat Rajoy de Catalanen niet vertrouwt, immers het referendum had theoretisch ook in het nadeel van de onafhankelijkheid voorstanders kunnen uitvallen…….. M.a.w.: Rajoy weet dat een grote meerderheid van de Catalanen voor onafhankelijkheid is…….. Eén ding is zeker: die meerderheid is door het schandalige fascistoïde optreden in opdracht van Rajoy alleen maar verder gegroeid, ofwel de geest is definitief uit de fles!

Het grootste deel van de politici in de EU staat achter de Spaanse overheid en haar uiterst gewelddadige optreden (waar men dat laatste uiteraard zoveel mogelijk probeert te verzwijgen). De reguliere media hebben zich ook al achter Rajoy en zijn boevenbende geschaard…… Vandaar ook dat u niets hoort over het feit dat Rajoy de Catalanen al delen van hun autonomie heeft afgepakt*, de druppel voor de Catalanen, die tot het onafhankelijkheidsreferendum heeft geleid. Overigens een onafhankelijkheidsstreven dat bepaald niet van vandaag of gisteren is………

Oh waarom de Spaanse overheid dan gelijk zou hebben volgens die politici, simpel daar onafhankelijkheidsstreven niet is opgenomen in de grondwet, een grondwet die deels nog steunt op het fascistische bewind van massamoordenaar, verkrachter, martelbeul  en opperschoft Franco……… Trouwens nogal logisch dat dit niet wordt opgenomen in een grondwet, het is nu juist de democratie die garandeert dat er ook rekening wordt gehouden met minderheden en hun legitieme wensen!

Paddo’s en MDMA: verboden geneeskrachtige softdrugs!

Twee berichten die wijzen op de ‘geneeskrachtige’ eigenschappen van de softdrugs MDMA en paddo’s, die over MDMA van 30 augustus jl. en het artikel over paddo’s van afgelopen maandag.

De (VS) Food and Drug Administration heeft MDMA eindelijk aangewezen als een middel voor een baanbrekende therapie tegen posttraumatische stressstoornis (PTSS). De Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS)meldde e.e.a., deze organisatie ijvert al vanaf 1986 om deze stof in te zetten tegen PTSS.

Bovendien is uit studies gebleken, dat MDMA ook mensen met andere stoornissen kan helpen zoals mensen met een sociale angststoornis.

Eerdere berichten dat MDMA bij veelvuldig gebruik hersenschade zou veroorzaken, zijn middels andere studies naar het rijk der fabelen verwezen. Bovendien is MDMA de belangrijkste stof in XTC, dagelijks gebruik van grote hoeveelheden is zonder gebruik van harddrugs als speed, zo goed als onmogelijk, daar je na fiks te hebben gebruikt, de volgende dag ongelofelijk moe bent (hetzelfde geldt overigens voor LSD, ook al een stof die in therapieën wordt ingezet).

Overigens dient nog opgemerkt te worden dat ook cannabis (of wiet, zo je wilt) op een paar gebieden een sterke geneeskrachtige werking heeft, zoals je ongetwijfeld al veel eerder zal hebben begrepen. Zo wordt cannabis ingezet tegen bepaalde vormen van kanker.

Het tweede artikel beschrijft de geneeskrachtige werking van paddo’s. Onderzoekers van het Imperial College London hebben de werkzame stof psilocybine, die een aantal paddenstoelensoorten  bevatten, aangewezen als een probaat middel tegen depressies. De hersenen van depressieve mensen worden met deze stof ‘gereset’ en dat gebeurt zelfs in vrij korte tijd, waarna deze mensen aanmerkelijke verbeteringen in hun geestelijk leven constateren!

Ongelofelijk dat stoffen als MDMA, paddo’s en LSD zijn verboden in Nederland……. Terwijl er voor de harddrug die verreweg de meeste schade veroorzaakt, gewoon reclame gemaakt mag worden, je had het alweer begrepen: de harddrug alcohol….. Alcohol richt die schade aan bij zowel de gebruiker, diens omgeving en de maatschappij in haar geheel en dat zowel direct als indirect………… Dagelijks overlijden 12 mensen aan de gevolgen van langdurig en overmatig alcoholgebruik……..

Meer en meer probeert men XTC als veel gevaarlijker aan te wijzen, waarbij men wijst op meerdere doden per jaar, echter jaarlijks wordt er door de reguliere media gemiddeld over 2 XTC doden gesproken…….. In die berichten schenkt men dan ook nog eens geen aandacht aan de enorme hoeveelheid alcohol die de slachtoffers bijna zonder uitzondering (naast de XTC) hebben gebruikt, om nog maar te zwijgen over zwaar medicijngebruik naast die XTC (en alcohol)…….

Met paddo’s is het nog zotter, de VVD lobbyist voor de drugsmaffia, de murmelende plork Opstelten verbood paddo’s nadat er godbetert in één jaar tijd twee mensen overleden, na onder meer paddo’s te hebben gebruikt……. Terwijl in het ene geval, een Franse tiener met psychische problemen, deze naast paddo’s ook alcohol en psychofarmaca had gebruikt en het andere geval, een man die naast paddo’s hele sloten alcohol had gebruikt…….. Niet moeilijk te raden welke stof werkelijk verantwoordelijk was voor het overlijden: alcohol, de harddrug die zoals gezegd 12 doden per dag eist………

Het drugsbeleid is knotsknettergek en contraproductief!! (en kost daarnaast een enorme zinloze politie-inzet!)

FDA Finally Labels MDMA as ‘Breakthrough Therapy’ for PTSD

(ANTIMEDIA) — This week, the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) announced the FDA’s August 16 decision to designate MDMA as a breakthrough therapy. Along with this designation, the FDA has approved Phase 3 trials to test the effectiveness of the drug in treating PTSD.

According to a press release from MAPS, which has lobbied for the medicinal use of MDMA since 1986, the “breakthrough” status may lead to quicker approval for the substance. MAPS has already conducted smaller Phase 2 trials, and the FDA evidently found the results promising enough to warrant further study.

“In MAPS’ completed Phase 2 trials with 107 participants,” the organization summarized, “61% no longer qualified for PTSD after three sessions of MDMA-assisted psychotherapy two months following treatment. At the 12-month follow-up, 68% no longer had PTSD. All Phase 2 participants had chronic, treatment-resistant PTSD, and had suffered from PTSD for an average of 17.8 years.”

The next phase of trials will commence in spring of 2018.

“The Phase 3 trials will assess the efficacy and safety of MDMA-assisted psychotherapy in 200-300 participants with PTSD, aged 18 and older, at sites in the U.S., Canada, and Israel,” MAPS explained.

“Participants will be randomized to receive three day-long sessions of either MDMA or placebo in conjunction with psychotherapy over a 12-week treatment period, along with 12 associated 90-minute non-drug preparatory and integration sessions.”

Phase 3 trials are the last clinical testing period before a drug is allowed to go to market, though additional testing is conducted after the fact. MAPS says that if the Phase 3 testing yields promising results, the drug could be available to the public by 2021.

MAPS, based in Santa Cruz, California, has lobbied on behalf of the therapeutic uses of MDMA since 1986, a year after the DEA deemed it an illegal substance, Science Mag notes. The group has poured millions of dollars into trials to study the drug’s potential and has hope it may be particularly useful for war veterans suffering from PTSD. They have also invested in research to study other problems it could help treat, such as social anxiety. MAPS’ executive director, Rick Doblin, believes the FDA’s approval to move forward in official testing demonstrates MDMA’s possibilities. He says it’s “kind of a public acknowledgment of the promise of this research.”

Similarly, David Nutt, a neuropsychopharmacologist at Imperial College London, said “This is not a big scientific step. It’s been obvious for 40 years that these drugs are medicines. But it’s a huge step in acceptance.“

In a piece exploring the psychological benefits of psychedelics in general, Rolling Stone noted that though some studies have found brain damage in chronic ecstasy users, a Harvard Medical School examination of Mormons who used the substance — and no others — “failed to find cognitive consequences.” The outlet also notes that  “safety studies of the dosages used in MDMA therapy have found no evidence of neurotoxicity or permanent changes in serotonin transporters.”

MAPS notes that MDMA “transiently increases heart rate, blood pressure, and body temperature in a dose-dependent manner that is generally not problematic for physically healthy individuals,” also adding that “Serious Adverse Events involving administration of MDMA in MAPS studies have been uncommon and non-life threatening.” Still, side effects do include dehydration — which, in extreme cases can cause death — as well as nausea, sweating, and chills.

Though drug warriors may balk at the idea of a Schedule I substance being used to treat PTSD (cannabis, another Schedule I drug is also proving effective), it is clear that current treatments, especially those the VA administers to veterans, are not solving the problem. Prescription cocktails often worsen symptoms and fail to help users process their trauma. In contrast, when used in a clinical setting with professional guidance, MDMA — which was used in therapeutic settings before it was outlawed — is believed to help those struggling with PTSD delve into the root causes of their suffering.

Indeed, as Popular Science observes, “[t]he FDA only grants breakthrough status when a medication (for a serious disease) is likely to offer significantly better results than currently available treatments.” Unsurprisingly, the agency has approved trials for cannabis in treating veterans with PTSD.

MAPS is working to raise $12.5 million to meet the roughly $25 million total the Phase 3 trials are expected to cost and plans to launch a similar effort with the European Medicines Agency.

Magic
Mushrooms Can Literally ‘Reset’ Brains of Depressed People, Study

groundbreaking new study shows
that magic mushrooms may actually be an effective treatment for
people with depression. Researchers from Imperial College London
found that patients taking psilocybin, the psychoactive compound that
occurs naturally in magic mushrooms, showed reduced symptoms weeks
after treatment following a “reset” of their brains.

In
the clinical trials, patients with treatment-resistant depression
received two doses of psilocybin — 10 mg followed by 25 mg,
one-week apart — while researchers focused on changes in brain
function before and after treatment with the drug. The findings
showed that the treatment produced “rapid and sustained
antidepressant effects.”

Brain
scans show a reset of brain connectivity and blood flow.

Comparisons
of images of patients’ brains before and after treatment with
psilocybin showed reduced blood flow in areas of the brain
responsible for processing emotional responses like stress and fear.
Researchers found increased stability in another brain network that
has been previously linked to psilocybin’s immediate effects, as
well as to depression itself.

The
small study of 19 people was led by Head of Psychedelic Research at
Imperial College London Dr.

Robin
Carhart-Harris, who said:

“We
have shown for the first time clear changes in brain activity in
depressed people treated with psilocybin after failing to respond to
conventional treatments.

“Several
of our patients described feeling ‘reset’ after the treatment and
often used computer analogies.

For
example, one said he felt like his brain had been ‘defragged’
like a computer hard drive, and another said he felt ‘rebooted.’

“Psilocybin
may be giving these individuals the temporary ‘kick start’ they
need to break out of their depressive states and these imaging
results do tentatively support a ‘reset’ analogy. Similar brain
effects to these have been seen with electroconvulsive therapy.”

In
addition, the trials revealed that patients scoring highest on “peak”
or “mystical” experience showed a more significant change. This
is consistent with findings from previous
studies that
have shown that such experiences can lead to long-term changes in the
behaviors, attitudes, and values of patients treated with psilocybin.

Israël heeft een volgende stap gezet op het pad van het ‘vredesproces’ dat westerse politici als de knikkende PvdA sufferd Koenders keer op keer noemen, als zij het misdadig fascistische gedrag van de Israëlische overheid niet wensen te veroordelen……..

Zoals zo vaak bestaat ook deze stap ‘in het vredesproces’ uit een uitbreiding van een illegale nederzetting op de illegaal bezette westelijke Jordaanoever (ofwel: West Bank)………. Nu wordt een illegale nederzetting in Hebron, voor het eerst in 15 jaar uitgebreid met 31 wooneenheden, waarmee de joodse bevolking van die nederzetting stijgt met 20%……..

De bestaande bevolking van die nederzetting staat bekend als uiterst gewelddadig en ideologisch extreem (in haar fascistisch zionistische apartheidsideologie)……..

Met die uitbreiding wordt het leven van de Palestijnen in Hebron nog meer ondraaglijk en zal hun bewegingsvrijheid zo mogelijk nog verder worden ingeperkt…..

The site on Shuhada
Street where they plan to put the 31 new settlement units, used
to be the Palestinian bus station in Hebron.
It was confiscated
in the 1980’s by the Israel military. An
army base was installed. After
the 1994 Ibrahimi mosque massacre by American born settler Baruch
Goldstein, Shuhada Street was closed almost entirely to Palestinians.
It remains closed today. Each year, Youth Against Settlements
holds an annual
protest to
demand Shuahda street be reopened and Palestinians be
guaranteed freedom and equality.

Thirty-one new
units will massively increase the restrictions and violence
against Palestinians. Already Hebron is comprised of streets that are
divided by religion and neighborhoods that are fenced off into
ghettos.

Instead of building
more settler housing, Israel
should be removing the settlers and soldiers from Hebron. The
streets and shops that have been closed to Palestinians for decades
