Een
nieuwe Britse meidenband, The Tuts heeft laten weten niet mee te doen
aan het Eurovisiesongfestival, daar het festival in de fascistische
apartheidsstaat Israël wordt gehouden. Eindelijk een stel meiden die
zich verzetten tegen deze grote reclame voor een staat die alleen dit
jaar al meer dan 150 ongewapende demonstranten heeft doodgeschoten,
demonstranten waaronder: kinderen, invaliden, medisch hulpverleners
en journalisten…… (waar men zich druk maakt om Khashoggi, ook bij
de reguliere media, blijft het stil als Israël journalisten die hun
werk doen vermoordt…..)
Uiteraard
hebben de meiden van The Tut een hele bak bagger over zich heen
gekregen, zo worden ze afgeschilderd als antisemieten, alsof je je als als mens niet meer kwaad mag maken over het plegen van massamoorden
door Israël dat aantoonbaar de Palestijnen vervolgd
en behandelt als onmensen, of beter nog als ‘ongedierte’, terwijl het toch echt om mensen van vlees en bloed gaat……..
Veel
fans van het Eurovisiesongfestival zullen goed pissig zijn over de
petitie waarin men wordt gevraagd dit festival te boycotten, het
festival zou niets met politiek te maken hebben…… Terwijl deze
mensen wel zeggen dat de Olympische Spelen in het nazi-Duitse Berlijn
van 1936 niet hadden mogen doorgaan, daar ze nu weten wat er later in
deze fascistische staat is gebeurd: de vervolging van de Joden, Roma, Sinti, mensen met een laag IQ, homo’s en linkse politici……. Ook die Spelen waren één grote reclame voor nazi-Duitsland…..
Het
Eurovisie Songfestival wordt altijd politiek gebruikt door het
organiserende land, al was het alleen maar door het op de kaart zetten van het bewuste land, op die regel is Israël geen uitzondering…… Sterker
nog: Israël heeft dit soort festivals nodig om figuurlijk het bloed
van Palestijnen van hun smerige fascistische poten te wassen en het
land aan te prijzen als een geweldig toeristisch oord……..
Hulde
voor de meiden van The Tut, laten we hopen dat er nog velen volgen die weigeren mee te werken aan de grote reclame campagne voor Israël!!

upcoming British band has refused to enter the Eurovision Song
Contest due to it being hosted in Israel this year.
Confirming
their decision on Twitter, the three-girl band The Tuts, prompted a
backlash from supporters of Israel.
So, we got asked to enter EUROVISION 2019 to represent the UK but it’s being held in ISRAEL so that’s a NO from us!

even tried to suggest that the group’s choice was evidence of
anti-Semitism, although the Boycott,
Divestment and Sanctions (BDS)
movement against Israel has clearly stated that its campaign protests
the ongoing military occupation of Palestine.

Great news from the UK as The Tuts decide to prioritise ethics, human rights and solidarity with Palestinians and announce they will #boycottIsrael and not attend #Eurovision in Tel Aviv. We hope Australian artists will follow them…#boycottEurovision2019

Palestinian
cultural groups and journalists have been urging
a boycott of
this year’s Eurovision contest since it was announced Israel would
be hosting the annual transnational event.
“Would
the Eurovision have held the contest in apartheid South Africa?” a
statement, signed by the Palestinian Journalists’ Syndicate and a
network of Palestinian cultural organisations, asked last year.
In
September, the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) announced that the
contest will be held in Tel Aviv and not
in Jerusalem following
worldwide criticism and fear of boycotts.
A
campaign in Ireland that calls on songwriters to boycott Eurovision
2019 has also gained the support of more
than 60 public figures ,
with participating in the event deemed a betrayal of the Palestinian
people.
Israel,
with the support of the US, has long accused those who support BDS of
being anti-Semitic and has applied pressure on foreign government and
organisations to oppose the movement. In 2017, Tel Aviv threatened
action against
Amnesty International after it launched a new campaign calling
for a ban on settlement-made products. Israel has also moved to
publish a blacklist ,
listing 22 NGOs from Europe, the United States, South America and
Africa, whose employees or members are banned from entering Israel
due to their alleged support of the BDS campaign.
