Hoorde afgelopen vrijdag Joost Vullings, politiek verslaggever en duider (ha! ha! ha!) voor o.a. de NOS en KRO – NCRV op Radio1. Het ging in de uitzending na 9.30 u. over al dan niet liegende politici, weet niet meer wat de stelling was en vind het bovendien te suf om op te zoeken, immers iedereen zal wel weten dat politici vooral heel vaak de boel belazeren en dus liegen bij het leven…..
Vullings durfde te zeggen dat Rutte onterecht wordt beschuldigd van liegen……. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Vullings de politiek deskundige en duider heeft nooit een leugen kunnen ontdekken van Rutte, zo vulde hij zijn woorden aan…… Moet je nagaan: dezelfde Vullings heeft zich nogal eens negatief uitgelaten over nepnieuws op de sociale media…. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!
Mensen het viel me nog alleszins mee van politiek duider Vullings dat hij erkende dat andere politici ‘wel eens liegen’, maar zo stelde hij, de meeste politici bedoelen het beste…… ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Ja voor de eigen positie, die van de financiële wereld plus de belangen van het grote bedrijfsleven en het militair-industrieel complex……..
Lullig genoeg is Vullings onderdeel van de publieke media, die al net als de commerciële media, vooral het woord van de zittende neoliberale regeringen en de hiervoor aangehaalde bedrijven prediken….. Tja dan moet je natuurlijk wel flink omhoog likken en geen kritiek leveren…….
Ongelofelijk dat Vullings zelfs mag werken voor de zogenaamd onafhankelijke NOS, in feite wordt hij betaald van ons belastinggeld……
Het verhaal over ‘de moord’ op Babchenko, fake news (nepnieuws) van de bovenste plank, heeft duidelijk gemaakt dat de Oekraïense junta nu volkomen is doorgeslagen in de zoektocht naar false flag operaties waarmee Rusland moet worden gedemoniseerd. (al is het neerhalen van MH17 als false flag operatie voorlopig één van de grootste die de wereld heeft gezien, waar de Oekraïense junta NB vetorecht had en heeft op de uitkomsten van het JIT onderzoek >> hoe zot wil je het hebben…??*) .
Terug naar de zogenaamde moord op Babchenko: intussen is ‘de moordenaar’ die Babchenko zou hebben willen vermoorden gearresteerd en je raadt het niet (of juist wel, zeker gezien de kop) >> deze ‘moordenaar’ heeft banden met de Oekraïense veiligheidsdienst, de SBU….. De ‘moordenaar’ Tsimbalyuk is een groot criticus van het Kremlin en heeft zelf gezegd voor de Oekraïense geheime dienst te hebben gewerkt…….. Waarschijnlijk dacht men bij deze geheime dienst, de SBU, dat men zelfs wel een false flag operatie zou kunnen laten slagen, door eerst een zogenaamde moordenaar te contracteren en daarna een nepmoord te laten plaatsvinden, om vervolgens de ‘toekomstige moordenaar’ op te pakken en met deze ‘moordenaar’ alsnog de schuld in de schoenen van de Russen te schuiven….. Tja, als je ziet hoe Oekraïne weg weet te komen met de massamoord op vlucht MH17, is deze handelwijze dan weer niet zo vreemd, immers als het maar anti-Russisch is, gelooft het westen de leugens van de Porosjenko junta, hoe onwaarschijnlijk die leugens ook zijn…….

“Real” Assassin Arrested In Staged Kiev Hit Linked To Ukrainian Intelligence As Official Story Unravels
The Ukrainian government’s staged assassination of anti-Putin journalist Arkady Babachenko has taken an even stranger turn, as evidence has emerged that his would-be “Russia-ordered” assassin and the man who supposedly hired him, both say they worked for Ukrainian counterintelligence, casting serious doubt on the official story.
To review, Ukrainian authorities announced last Tuesday that Babachenko had been assassinated after returning home from the store. Meanwhile the guy who supposedly hired Tsimbalyuk, Boris L. German, 50, also says he worked for Ukrainian counter-intelligence, a claim Ukraine denies as its immediately destroys the carefully scripted, if rapidly imploding, Ukrainian narrative meant to scapegoat Russia for what has been a “fake news” story of epic proportions, emerging from the one nation that not only was the biggest foreign donor to the Clinton foundation, but has made fake news propaganda into an art form.

The New York Times reports that Tsimbalyuk – a former Russia-hating priest was featured in a 10-minute documentary in January 2017 in which “he called killing members of the Russian-backed militias in eastern Ukraine “an act of mercy”, further calling into question why Russia would hire him for the supposed assassination in the first place.
Facebook pictures also reveal Tsimbalyuk wearing a Ukrainian ultranationalist uniform from “Right Sector,” a group deemed to be neo-Nazis.
Given such strong and publicly avowed enmity toward Russia, it is odd to say the least that Mr. Tsimbalyuk would be selected to carry out the contract killing of a prominent Kremlin critic.
German claims he took orders from Moscow businessman Vyacheslav Pivovarnik – who he says works for one of Putin’s personal foundations.
Ukrainian officials also claim that German has a list of another 30 targets which Moscow wants to wipe out – something he claims he has since passed onto Kyiv.
Prosecutors claimed German had been given a down payment of $15,000, half what he was promised for carrying out the hit.
German said: ‘I got a call from a longtime acquaintance who lives in Moscow, and in the process of communicating with him it turned out that he works for a Putin foundation precisely to orchestrate destabilization in Ukraine.’ –Daily Mail
“Six months ago, my old acquaintance contacted me, an ex-citizen of Ukraine, now living in Moscow,” German told a Ukrainian court, adding “He works in a personal foundation of Putin’s – and is in charge of organizing riots in Ukraine and planned acts of terror at the next presidential elections. He is called Vyacheslav Pivovarnik. This is not a fairy tale, there’s nothing mystical here, everything has been proved.”
German’s lawyer Eugene Solodko wrote on Facebook that his client was an executive director of Ukrainian-German firm Schmeisser – the only non-state owned arms producer in the country.
Russia has denied German’s claim, with a Putin spokesman saying “No such foundation exists in Russia. Any allegations about Russia’s possible complicity in this staging is just mudslinging. They do not correspond to reality.”
Meanwhile, senior Ukraine officials have been on the defensive since Wednesday, when the head of security services announced they had staged the death of Babchenko so they could track his

PS: hier nog een Twitterbericht van fantast ‘journalist’ Olaf Koens over de dood van Babchenko. Koens is één van de vele journalisten die na de vermeende dood van Babchenko stelden hem goed te kennen (Koens noemt hem zelfs zijn vriend) en de loftrompet over hem te steken (ha! ha! ha!):
Godverdomme. Zojuist is in Kiev de Russische schrijver, journalist en vooral mijn vriend Arkadi Babtsjenko vermoord. In portiek van zijn eigen flat in zijn rug geschoten. Iedereen belt elkaar. Klopt het? Ja, het klopt. Niet te geloven.

Als ik ‘s nachts naar bed ga, zet ik meestal nog even BBC World Service aan op de radio. Zo ook gisternacht rond 1.10 u. Onmiddellijk werd mijn aandacht getrokken doordat de naam Vanessa Beeley werd genoemd, zij is één van de beste oorlogscorrespondenten, die bovendien nog het echte ‘handwerk’ doet………
Aan het woord o.a. professor Scott Lucas van de Birmingham University. Deze schoft stelde dat oorlogscorrespondent Beeley en Sarah Abdallah een Libanese pro-Assad twitteraar (o.a. SyriaHoax hashtag) veel kwaad doen met hun werk en noemde hen zelfs gevaarlijk….. Niet dat de twee ook maar één keer zijn veroordeeld vanwege geweldpleging……..
Tja als je tegenwoordig de waarheid vertelt en die is tegen de huidige status quo, waar Rusland, Syrië en Iran de grote boosdoeners zijn (en niet juist de grootste terreurentiteit op aarde, de VS), ben je ‘natuurlijk’ staatsgevaarlijk en al helemaal als je daarbij Saoedi-Arabië (met o.a. de hulp van de VS) verwijt een genocide uit te voeren in Jemen (wat werkelijk zo is!)….
Dat ‘staatsgevaarlijk’ is dan ook wat je na een paar minuten in de uitzending meekreeg (al werd dit woord niet gebruikt, die suggestie werd wel degelijk gewekt; het woord gevaarlijk werd overigens wel gebruikt)….. Groot-Brittannië steunt S-A met deze genocide, zoals de VS dat ook doet, waarbij de laatste nog net wat verder gaat, o.a.: -met troepen op de Jemenitische bodem, -het bijtanken van Saoedische straaljagers zodat deze zo efficiënt mogelijk de sjiieten kunnen bombarderen en -zeeblokkades uitvoeren voor de havens waar humanitaire goederen kunnen worden aangevoerd voor de lijdende sjiitische bevolking van Jemen…… Ach en dan weet je het wel, men is ook in universiteiten afhankelijk van de overheid, zeker wat betreft wetgeving t.a.v. studie enz., dus dan ga je als ‘professor’ niet tekeer tegen de zich aan de genocide in Jemen scheel verdienende Britse overheid….. Dit terzijde om aan te geven hoever men wil gaan om ronduit staatsterreur te verdedigen……
Lucas stelt dat er een ‘informatie oorlog’ bezig is waar o.a. Beeley en Abdallah de grote foute partij zijn, die veel mensen bereiken met hun ‘desinformatie’ en samenzweringstheorieën…….. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Het is juist volkomen andersom, zij ontwarren de schimmige samenzweringstheorieën die door de reguliere westerse media en politici worden verspreid! Lucas noemde de gifgasaanval van vorig jaar op Kahn Sheikhoun, waar o.a. Abdallah over stelde dat dit een false flag was om Syrië de schuld in de schoenen te schuiven en een VS aanval te ‘rechtvaardigen’ (terwijl de VS NB illegaal in Syrie zit!!).
Lucas stelde daarover dat de conclusies al werden getrokken toen het onderzoek nog bezig was….. Wat hij niet vertelde was het feit dat de VN inspecteurs stelden dat er geen aanval met sarin gas had plaatsgevonden en er wel sporen van chlorine waren gevonden, chlorine dat (alweer) NB in het bezit was van de Al Qaida groepering die daar de boel ‘onder controle’ (lees: onder het terreurbewind) had……… Deskundigen stelden dan ook dat de aanval van Syrische troepen op een terreurdoel was uitgemond in het raken van een voorraad chlorine, terwijl men nog steeds spreekt over sarin gas, wat Lucas zelf toevallig niet deed…….. Die leugen ging zelfs hem waarschijnlijk te ver, niet in de laatste plaats daar het bewijs van het tegengestelde te groot is……….
Overigens niet vreemd dat men eerder grote kritiek heeft op het direct stellen dat Syrië een gifgasaanval heeft uitgevoerd. Immers Lucas ‘vergeet’ voor het gemak dat juist het westen direct (soms zelfs binnen twee uur na een ‘aanval’) het Syrische leger aanwijst als dader…….. Alsof er dan al wel een onderzoek heeft plaatsgevonden….. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!
Eén ding is zeker mensen, nadat de sociale media werden beschuldigd van het brengen van fake news (nepnieuws), men mensen die wel met de waarheid op de proppen komen nu als gevaarlijk gaat neerzetten……. Als Beeley of Abdallah straks worden vermoord weten we wie de schuldigen zijn: Scott Lucas en de BBC, dat zelf ook met feiten veel van de praatjes van Lucas onderuit had kunnen halen, maar ja de BBC is nu eenmaal een grote rad in het verspreiden van anti-Rusland/Syrië/Iran propaganda en het brengen van fake news, zoals de BBC dat ook deed in aanloop naar de illegale VS oorlogen tegen Afghanistan, Irak, Libie en nu weer Syrië…. Waarbij niet moet worden vergeten dat deze BBC, een ‘onafhankelijke zendgemachtigde’, afhankelijk is van overheidssubsidies……… En nee dit heeft niets te maken met complotdenken, maar alles met het weergeven van feiten!!!
Tot slot wil ik nog wijzen op een video van de Jimmy Dore Show. Hij nagelt samen met Brigida Santos de BBC aan de paal voor het verdedigen van de westerse houding t.a.v. Syrië en Rusland. Aan de orde o.a. John Kerry die als minister van BuZa toegeeft dat Saoedi-Arabië een enorm deel betaalt van de kosten voor de illegale VS oorlog in Syrië….. Ook aan de orde waarom de VS nu echt in Syrië zit, niet alleen de weigering van Assad voor een gaspijpleiding, maar ook op aandringen van Israël en Saoedi-Arabië, dit om Assad weg te krijgen (en het land op te delen). Suggestief wordt een voormalig topofficier van de Britse marine ‘geïnterviewd, lord West (‘first sea lord’) die nog enigszins kritiek heeft op de aanname dat Syrië de gifgasaanval in Douma heeft gepleegd en kritiek heeft op de White Helmets, de interviewer zijn antwoorden probeert te verdraaien of zelfs suggereert dat hij het bij het verkeerde eind heeft….. Zo suggereert ze dat de schuldtoewijzing aan Syrië voor de gifgasaanval in Douma, niet door de eerste besten werden gedaan (zoals meerdere geheime diensten, journalisten en het SOHR, een propaganda orgaan van de terreurgroepen in Syrië), waar een aantal van deze ‘eerste besten’ wel degelijk eerder door de mand vielen, zoals voor de illegale oorlog van de VS (met militaire hulp van GB) tegen Irak eind 2002 en begin 2003…..

Bea hield de zwangerschap echter niet langer vol, vandaar dat we nu met een koningsdag zitten op 27 april en er in feite geen reden meer is om 1 mei niet als nationale vrije dag te vieren……
Waarom zouden we de geboortedag van Willem Alexander als nationale vrije dag vieren?? Men doet de laatste week niet anders dan het koningshuis ophemelen…..

Zo populair, dat er bijvoorbeeld na de dood van Johan Friso, iets meer dan 20.000 handtekeningen werden gezet in het nationale condoleanceregister……. Zelfs als zou dit aantal nu 10 keer zo hoog zijn, is het nog steeds niet eens 2% van de bevolking!!
Heb met de kotszak bij de hand even het Radio1 nieuws van 14.00 u. aangezet en daar meldde de NOS dat er in Groningen tienduizenden mensen langs de kant van de route stonden, de koninklijke route wel te verstaan……… ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Uiteraard een gewild en daarmee gefantaseerd aantal, zoveel oranjeklanten staan er niet eens langs de route van de gouden koets op Prinsjesdag…….
Over die koets gesproken, die behoort tot de late middeleeuwen, zoals het koningshuis daar ook thuishoort en niet in de 21ste eeuw!! Weg met dit veelal misdadig met belastingen sjoemelende zootje, grootaandeelhouders van Shell…..
Gegarandeerd dat er vandaag weer veel aandacht wordt besteed aan de zogenaamde aanslag op het koningshuis in Apeldoorn….. Een heel vette leugen, ingegeven om de populariteit van het koningshuis op te krikken……. Op een van YouTube verwijderde video kon je heel duidelijk zien, hoe de bus met het koningshuis rechtsaf sloeg, terwijl de auto van Karst Tates schuin linksaf afsloeg, richting monument De Naald….. De figuren in de bus moesten dan ook hun hoofd iets meer dan een kwartslag draaien om dit te kunnen zien….. Tates had werk verricht voor de mislukte vastgoedhandelaar W.A., die weigerde te betalen, waarna Tates zo goed als failliet en ten einde raad deze (waanzinnige en niet goed te praten) actie ondernam als daad van protest tegen zijn meer dan smerige behandeling…….
Om te laten zien dat men in de fascistische apartheidsstaat Israël schijt heeft wat er wordt gedacht over het neerschieten van journalisten, heeft een ‘heldhaftige’ zionistische scherpschutter Ahmed Abu Hussein vermoord, terwijl hij duidelijk zichtbaar was als journalist……..
Geen verrassing, zeker niet nadat de psychopathische zionist en minister Lieberman eerder liet weten dat soldaten die ongewapende demonstranten (intussen 40 vermoorde ongewapende Palestijnse mensen) doodschieten, geëerd moeten worden……. Waarvoor is me niet duidelijk: omdat het een knap staaltje is om vanuit een verborgen positie ongewapende mensen dood te schieten? Ach, ook op het alweer veroordelen van journalisten in Turkije, zo ongeveer de hele redactie van een Turkse krant (25 personen, die onvoorwaardelijke gevangenisstraffen kregen van 2 tot 7 jaar) wordt amper kritiek gegeven, bang als men is dat de Turkse overheid het gore vluchtelingenverdrag met de EU opzegt, een verdrag dat lijnrecht ingaat tegen de mensenrechten en het VN vluchtelingenverdrag………….

Hundreds of Palestinian mourners on Thursday attended the funeral of 24-year-old Gaza journalist Ahmed Abu Hussein, who was killed by an Israeli military sniper while reporting on a protest at the Gaza border.
Hussein, a photographer for Gaza’s Voice of the People radio station, was the second journalist to be killed by Israeli forces since a wave of protests known as the “March of Great Return” began on March 30. Thousands of people have been injured, and at least 40 protesters have been killed. According to the Associated Press, amateur footage showed that Hussein was wearing a vest and helmet marked “TV” to identify himself as a journalist, when he was shot. “Protective gear that clearly indicates individuals are members of the press should afford them extra protection—not make them targets,” Sherif Mansour, Middle East and North Africa program coordinator for the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ), told Al Jazeera. “The death of Ahmed Abu Hussein underscores the need for Israeli authorities to urgently scrutinize its policies toward journalists covering protests and take immediate, effective action.”

The head of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) gave troops instructions to use force during the protests, which began on the 42nd anniversary of Land Day, marking the deaths of six Palestinian protesters who were killed by Israeli soldiers while protesting settlements. The organizers of the protests have urged participants to demonstrate peacefully. Human rights groups have denounced Israel’s violent response to the protests. ”We express our outrage over these shootings that may have resulted in unlawful killings and the incomprehensibly high number of injuries sustained,” said several U.N. human rights experts in a statement last week. “No evidence has emerged showing that such a situation occurred during the demonstrations that would make the lethal force used legal. The freedoms of association, assembly, and expression are all fundamental rights under international human rights law. Er is momenteel een EU conferentie gaande over de wederopbouw van Syrië. WDR 5 meldde in het nieuws van 13.30 u. dat Duitsland een miljard wil geven voor de wederopbouw van Syrië (waarvan een deel voor de vluchtelingen in omliggende landen), waar de EU dit laat afhangen van ‘een paar voorwaarden’.
Zo stelt de EU o.a. dat er eerst vrije verkiezingen moeten worden gehouden in Syrië, verkiezingen waarvan Assad en zijn Ba’ath partij moeten worden uitgesloten…….. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! De oplichters in Brussel hebben wel een heel vreemde opvatting van ‘vrije verkiezingen……’ Trouwens hoe kunnen verkiezingen vrij zijn als men in het buitenland eisen stelt aan deze verkiezingen……

Na veel vertraging heeft de Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) afgelopen zaterdag monsters genomen in Douma op de plek waar een gifgasaanval zou hebben plaatsgevonden. De missie wordt geëvalueerd door de OPCW en het United Nations Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS), een VN organisatie die voor de veiligheid van het OPCW team zorgt, waarna men wellicht zal beslissen het onderzoek nog eens te herhalen.
Uitlatingen van westerse politici zoals de Franse opperhufter Macron en de reguliere westerse media, als zouden Syrië en Rusland het onderzoeksteam expres hebben vertraagd, werden tegengesproken, de vertraging had alles te maken met de inschatting van de veiligheid door het UNDSS team……..
Voorts zouden Rusland en Syrië ‘de plaats delict’ hebben gemanipuleerd en zaken hebben verwijderd dan wel verborgen, aldus dezelfde westerse politici en media. Dat heeft de OPCW intussen weersproken, ofwel ook dit was (alweer) valse anti-Syrische/Russische propaganda……..
Macron en de media spelen wel een heel smerig spel in deze, uitlatingen dat Rusland en Syrië de zaak zouden hebben vertraagd, was al een enorme leugen, daar de VN Veiligheidsraad met meerderheid van stemmen besloot tegen een onderzoek door de OPCW te stemmen!! (een onderzoek waar nu juist Rusland en Syrië op aan hadden gedrongen….) De OPCW besloot zelfstandig een onderzoek te starten en als dit orgaan deze beslissing niet had genomen, was er nog niets gebeurd……….. Zoals gezegd: Als je de reguliere media (plus het grootste deel van de westerse politici) moest geloven waren het Syrië en Rusland die tegen een onderzoek waren, dezelfde media en politici die zo’n grote bek hebben over ‘fake news’, maar zoals ook uit deze zaak blijkt, zelf de grote leveranciers zijn van ‘fake news’ (of ‘nepnieuws’)……..
Beste lezer het gaat nog veel verder: de Franse president Macron en de Britse premier May logen na de ‘gifgasaanval’ over onomstotelijke bewijzen te beschikken, maar gaven deze niet vrij. Dezelfde Macron beweert nu dat Rusland en Syrië de zaak hebben verdoezeld in Douma, echter wat maakt dat uit, als je toch onomstotelijk bewijs hebt dat het Syrische bewind de schuldige is???? (en dan nogmaals: van manipulaties op de plaats waar de aanval plaatsvond is niets gebleken, zo heeft de OPCW vastgesteld……)
Intussen hebben meerdere bronnen gemeld dat er in het geheel geen gifgasaanval heeft plaatsgevonden in Douma, iets dat de toenadering tussen de VS en Rusland kan verklaren, immers in de VS zal men intussen wel begrepen hebben dat de aanval van de VS, Frankrijk en GB op Syrische doelen na de zogenaamde gifgasaanval, nooit had mogen plaatsvinden, ofwel dat was de zoveelste enorme oorlogsmisdaad van de VS en een paar van haar NAVO partners, de NAVO dat in feite onder opperbevel van de VS staat………..

Trouwens ongelofelijk dat je vanuit de reguliere westerse media en het grootste deel van de westerse politici, nooit commentaar hoort op het feit dat de door hen zo geliefde ‘gematigde rebellen’ (psychopathische moordenaars, verkrachters en martelbeulen) beschikken over gifgas, terwijl al lang bewezen is dat deze terreurgroepen daadwerkelijk gifgas hebben gebruikt, zoals bij de grote gifgasaanval in 2013, zo concludeerde zelfs een VN onderzoeksteam!! OPCW Chemical Inspection Team Reaches Douma After Issuing Statement Negating “Russia Cover-Up” Claim
After many days of delay inside the security arch of Damascus’ city center, the international chemical weapons watchdog group, Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), announced that its team of investigators finally entered the Damascus suburb town of Douma early on Saturday.
In an official statement posted to its website, the OPCW confirmed the following:
The Fact-Finding Mission (FFM) team of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) visited one of the sites in Douma, Syrian Arab Republic today to collect samples for analysis in connection with allegations of chemical weapons use on 7 April 2018. The OPCW will evaluate the situation and consider future steps including another possible visit to Douma.
The OPCW Fact-Finding Mission will initially study the collected samples at an OPCW lab in the Netherlands, with potential sample distribution to its other designated labs. In the past, it’s take up to multiple weeks or months for the OPCW to issue a preliminary report to the public.
The samples collected will be transported to the OPCW Laboratory in Rijswijk and then dispatched for analysis to the OPCW’s designated labs. Based on the analysis of the sample results as well other information and materials collected by the team, the FFM will compile their report for submission to the States Parties to the Chemical Weapons Convention for their consideration.
It is unclear if any of what was collected includes tissue samples from corpses as it’s now being widely reported that the jihadist group which previously held the area – Jaish al-Islam – hastily buried the bodies of alleged chemical attack victims.
Though the team was invited into the country by the Syrian and Russian governments – both signatories to the international body devoted to decommissioning global stockpiles of banned chemical weapons – there’s been much spin and obfuscation regarding why the team was actually delayed, with a number of media outlets in the West falsely claiming that Syria and Russia were attempting a cover-up.
This was based in part on the unverified claims of political leaders in the West who have long sought Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s ouster, and who have given covert aid to various jihadist rebel groups.
France’s foreign minister, for example, accused both Damascus and Russia of “obstructionism [which] is obviously undermining the caliber of the investigation. It is most likely aimed at removing evidence and other material elements linked to the chemical attack on the very site where it took place.”
However, in spite of multiple international headlines, Western leaders, and journalists who reside far outside of Syria claiming a chemical cover-up conspiracy in the making, the OPCW in official statements confirmed that they were prevented from visiting Douma not by Syrian or Russian authorities, but by United Nations Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS), which has the final say over OPCW movements within Syria.
On 16 April, we received confirmation from the National Authority of the Syrian Arab Republic that, under agreements reached to allow the evacuation of the population in Ghouta, the Syrian military were unable to enter Douma. The security for the sites where the FFM plans to deploy was under the control of the Russian Military Police. The United Nations Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS) has made the necessary arrangements with the Syrian authorities to escort the team to a certain point and then for the escort to be taken over by the Russian Military Police. However, the UNDSS preferred to first conduct a reconnaissance visit to the sites, which took place yesterday. FFM team members did not participate in this visit.
On arrival at Site 1, a large crowd gathered and the advice provided by the UNDSS was that the reconnaissance team should withdraw. At Site 2, the team came under small arms fire and an explosive was detonated. The reconnaissance team returned to Damascus.
Though the OPCW statement further acknowledged the area to be a “highly volatile environment” fraught with “security risks” – a number of journalists actually made it into Douma early in the week prior to the OPCW team’s arrival.

What the Media Isn’t Telling You About Social Media
(CORBETT) — Now openly admitted, governments and militaries around the world employ armies of keyboard warriors to spread propaganda and disrupt their online opposition. Their goal? To shape public discourse around global events in a way favourable to their standing military and geopolitical objectives. Their method? The weaponization of social media.
TRANSCRIPT:
It didn’t take long from the birth of the world wide web for the public to start using this new medium to transmit, collect and analyze information in ways never before imagined. The first message boards and clunky “Web 1.0” websites soon gave way to “the blogosphere.” The arrival of social media was the next step in this evolution, allowing for the formation of communities of interest to share information in real time about events happening anywhere on the globe.
But as quickly as communities began to form around these new platforms, governments and militaries were even quicker in recognizing the potential to use this new medium to more effectively spread their own propaganda.
Their goal? To shape public discourse around global events in a way favourable to their standing military and geopolitical objectives.
Facebook. Twitter. YouTube. Snapchat. Instagram. Reddit. “Social media” as we know it today barely existed fifteen years ago. Although it provides new ways to interact with people and information from all across the planet virtually instantaneously and virtually for free, we are only now beginning to understand the depths of the problems associated with these new platforms. More and more of the original developers of social media sites like Facebook and Twitter admit they no longer use social media themselves and actively keep it away from their children, and now they are finally admitting the reason why: social media was designed specifically to take advantage of your psychological weaknesses and keep you addicted to your screen.
SEAN PARKER: If the thought process that went into building these applications—Facebook being the first of them to really understand it—that thought process was all about “How do we consume as much of your time and conscious attention as possible?” And that means that we need to sort of give you a little dopamine hit every once in a while because someone liked or commented on a photo or a post or whatever, and that’s gonna get you to contribute more content and that’s gonna get you more likes and comments. So it’s a social validation feedback loop. I mean it’s exactly the kind of thing that a hacker like myself would come up with, because you’re exploiting a vulnerability in human psychology. And I think that we—the inventors/creators, you know, it’s me, it’s Mark, it’s Kevin Systrom at Instagram, it’s all of these people—understood this consciously and we did it anyway.
It should be no surprise, then, that in this world of social media addicts and smartphone zombies, the 24/7 newsfeed is taking up a greater and greater share of people’s lives. Our thoughts, our opinions, our knowledge of the world, even our mood are increasingly being influenced or even determined by what we see being posted, tweeted or vlogged. And the process by which these media shape our opinions is being carefully monitored and analyzed, not by the social media companies themselves, but by the US military.
MARINA PORTNAYA: When the world’s largest social media platform betrays its users, there’s going to be outrage.
ABC HOST: The study to see whether Facebook could influence the emotional state of its users on that news feed.
CNN ANCHOR: It allowed researchers to manipulate almost 700,000 users’ news feeds. Some saw more positive news about their friends, others saw more negative.
CNN GUEST: Well I’m not surprised. I mean we’re all kind of lab rat than the big Facebook experiment.
PORTNAYA: But it wasn’t only Facebook’s experiment. It turns out the psychological study was connected to the US government’s research on social unrest.
MORNING JOE GUEST: This is really kind of creepy.
PORTNAYA: And it gets worse. What you may not know is that the US Department of Defense has reportedly spent roughly $20 million conducting studies aimed at learning how to manipulate online behavior in order to influence opinion. The initiative was launched in 2011 by the Pentagon’s Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, otherwise known as DARPA. The program is best described as the US media’s effort to become better at detecting and conducting propaganda campaigns via social media. Translation: When anti-government messages gain ground virally, Washington wants to find a way to spread counter opinion.
The DARPA document that details the Pentagon’s plans for influencing opinions in the social media space is called “Social Media in Strategic Communication.” DARPA’s goal, according to their own website, is “to develop tools to help identify misinformation or deception campaigns and counter them with truthful information.”
Exactly what tools were developed for this purpose and how they are currently being deployed is unclear.
But Rand Walzman, the program’s creator, admitted last year that the project lasted four years, cost $50 million and led to the publication of over 200 papers. The papers, including “Incorporating Human Cognitive Biases in a Probabilistic Model of Retweeting,” “Structural Properties of Ego Networks,” and “Sentiment Prediction using Collaborative Filtering,” make the thrust of the program perfectly clear. Social media users are lab rats being carefully scrutinized by government-supported researchers, their tweets and Facebook posts and Instagram pictures being analyzed to determine how information spreads online, and, by implication, how the government and the military can use these social media networks to make their own propaganda “go viral.”
As worrying as this research is, it pales in comparison to the knowledge that governments, militaries and political lobby groups are already employing squadrons of foot soldiers to wage information warfare in the social media battlespace.
AL-JAZEERA ANCHOR: The Pentagon’s got a new plan to counter anti-American messages in cyberspace. It involves buying software that will enable the American military to create and control fake online personas—fake people, essentially—who will appear to have originated from all over the world. The plan is being undertaken by CENTCOM (US Central Command), and the objective of the online persona management service is to combat enemy propaganda by influencing foreign social media websites. CENTCOM has hired a software development company called “Ntrepid,” and, according to the contract, the California-based company will initially provide 50 user licenses, each of which would be capable of controlling up to 10 fake personas. US law forbids the use of this type of technology, called “sockpuppets,” against Americans, so all the personas will reportedly be communicating in languages like Arabic, Persian and Urdu.
CTV ANCHOR: So is it okay to have the government monitor social media conversations and then to wade in and correct some of those conversations? With more on this, let’s go to technology expert Carmi Levy. He’s on the line from Montreal. Carmi, do you think the government’s monitoring what you and I are saying right now? Is this whole thing getting out of line, or what?

CARMI LEVY: It opens up a bit of a question. I’d like to call it a Pandora’s box about, you know, what exactly is the government’s aim here, and what do they hope to accomplish with what they find out? And as they accumulate this information online—this data on us—where does that data go? And so I think as much as we should applaud the government for getting into this area, the optics of it are potentially very Big Brother-ish. And the government really does need to be a little bit more concrete on what its intentions are and how it intends to achieve them.
4WWL REPORTER: New evidence that government-owned computers at the Army Corps of Engineers office here in New Orleans are being used to verbally attack critics of the Corps comes in an affidavit from the former editor-in-chief of nola.com. Jon Donley, who was laid off this past February, tells us via satellite from Texas, in late 2006 he started noticing people presenting themselves as ordinary citizens defending the Corps very energetically.
JON DONLEY: What stuck out, though, was the wording of the comments was in many ways mirroring news releases from the Corps of Engineers.

4WWL REPORTER: And when Rosenthal investigated, she discovered the comments were coming from users at the internet provider address of the Army Corps of Engineers offices here in New Orleans. She blamed the Corps for a strategy of going after critics.
ROSENTHAL: In the process of trying to obscure the facts of the New Orleans floodings, one of their tactics was just verbal abuse.
NAFTALI BENNETT: Mo’etzet Yesha, in conjunction with My Israel, has arranged an instruction day for Wiki editors. The goal of the day is to teach people how to edit in Wikipedia, which is the number one source of information today in the world. As a way of example, if someone searches the Gaza flotilla, we want to be there. We want to be the guys who influence what is written there, how it’s written, and to ensure that it’s balanced and Zionist in the nature.
These operations are only the visible and publicly-admitted front of a vast array of military and intelligence programs that are attempting to influence online behaviour, spread government propaganda, and disrupt online communities that arise in opposition to their agenda.
That such programs exist is not a matter of conjecture; it is mundane, established, documented fact.
In 2014, an internal document was leaked from GCHQ, the British equivalent of the NSA. The document, never intended for public release, was entitled “The Art of Deception: Training for a New Generation of Online Covert Operations” and bluntly stated that “We want to build Cyber Magicians.” It then goes on to outline the “magic” techniques that must be employed in influence and information operations online, including deception and manipulation techniques like “anchoring,” “priming” and “branding” propaganda narratives. After presenting a map of social networking technologies that are targeted by these operations, the document then instructs the “magicians” how to deceive the public through “attention management” and behavioural manipulation.
That governments would turn to these strategies is hardly a shocking development. In fact, the use of government shills to propagate government talking points and disrupt online dissent has been openly advocated on the record by high-ranking government officials for the past decade.
In 2008, Cass Sunstein, a law professor who would go on to become Obama’s information “czar,” co-authored a paper entitled “Conspiracy Theories,” in which he wrote that the “best response” to online “conspiracy theories” is what he calls “cognitive infiltration” of groups spreading these ideas.
“Government agents (and their allies) might enter chat rooms, online social networks, or even real-space groups and attempt to undermine percolating conspiracy theories by raising doubts about their factual premises, causal logic or implications for political action. In one variant, government agents would openly proclaim, or at least make no effort to conceal, their institutional affiliations. […] In another variant, government officials would participate anonymously or even with false identities.”
It is perhaps particularly ironic that the idea that government agents are actually and admittedly spreading propaganda online under false identities is, to the less-informed members of the population, itself a “conspiracy theory” rather than an established conspiracy fact.
Unsurprisingly, when confronted about his proposal, Sunstein pretended to not remember having written it and then pointedly refused to answer any questions about it.
LUKE RUDKOWSKI: My name is Bill de Burgh from Brooklyn College, and I know you’ve written many articles. But I think the most telling one about you is the 2008 one called “Conspiracy Theories,” where you openly advocated government agents infiltrate activist groups of 9/11 Truth and also stifle dissent online. I was wondering why do you think it’s the government’s job, or why do you think the government should go after family members who have questions and 9/11 responders who are lied to about the air, survivors whose testimony conflicts, and also government whistleblowers that were gagged because they released information that contradicts the official story.
CASS SUNSTEIN: I think it was Ricky who said I’d written hundreds of articles and I remember some and not others. That one I don’t remember very well. I hope I didn’t say that. But whatever was said in that article, my role in government is to oversee federal rule-making in a way that is wholly disconnected from the vast majority of my academic writing, including that.

RUDKOWSKI: I just want to know is it safe to say that you retract saying that conspiracy theories should be banned or taxed for having an opinion online. Is it safe to say that?
SUNSTEIN: I don’t remember the article very well. So I hope I didn’t say either those things.
RUDKOWSKI: But you did and it’s written. Do you retract them?
Now, a decade on from Sunstein’s proposal, we know that military psyops agents, political lobbyists, corporate shills and government propagandists are spending vast sums of money and employing entire armies of keyboard warriors, leaving comments and shaping conversations to change the public’s opinions, influence their behaviour, and even alter their mood. And they are helped along in this quest by the very same technology that allows the public to connect on a scale never before possible.
Technology is always a double-edged sword, and sometimes it can be dangerous to wield that sword at all. There are ways to identify and neutralize the threat of online trolls and shills, but the phenomenon is not likely to go away any time soon.
Each of us must find our own answer to the question of how best to incorporate these technologies into our life. But the next time you find yourself caught up in an argument with an online persona that may or may not be a genuine human being, it might be better to ask yourself if your efforts are better spent engaging in the argument or just turning off the computer.

Uiteraard kwam de hele leugenbrij over Russiagate weer voorbij en zoals het brave ‘journalisten’ van de reguliere media betaamt, daar twijfelen deze ‘heren’ niet aan…… Nee, sterker nog: hun boek moet de lezer overtuigen dat alles op waarheid berust…… ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!
Natuurlijk werden Sputnik en RT weer als kwaadaardige mediakanalen neergezet, terwijl er bijvoorbeeld heel wat journalisten uit de VS werken…….. Men één voorbeeld dachten de heren dit te kunnen bewijzen; als het bewijs voor het brengen van ‘fake news’ (nepnieuws) afhankelijk is van één voorbeeld, kan je de reguliere massamedia al helemaal aanwijzen als fake news brengers, verdedigers van ijskoud, inhumaan neoliberaal beleid en de steunpilaren van illegale oorlogen die door de VS zijn aangegaan, waarbij de valse redenen daartoe door die media als waarheid werden en worden gebracht……
Je zou denken: “Is daar al niet alles over gezegd”, maar beste bezoeker, dat is niet zo volgens Corn en Isikoff….. Dat zit zo: de Miss World verkiezing in 2013 was ook al onderdeel van Russiagate (althans volgens Corn en Isikoff)…… ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!
Hier de uitleg (volgens Corn en Isikoff): Trump wilde die Miss World verkiezing, die in Rusland plaatsvond, gebruiken voor een ontmoeting met Putin, om zo toestemming te krijgen voor de bouw van wolkenkrabbers en dan m.n. een Trumptower in Moskou….. Tja en daarmee is volgens deze heren al genoeg gezegd…… ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Als we alle directeuren van westerse bedrijven die in Rusland zaken doen zo gaan bekijken, lopen er heel wat ‘verraders’ rond……..
Corn en Isikoff gingen nog verder en haalden ook ‘de annexatie van De Krim’ en ‘het oorlogvoeren in Oost-Oekraïne’ door Rusland aan, waarmee de heren Rusland nog eens verder dachten te kunnen demoniseren…… Echter deze voorbeelden zijn beide ook al gelul van een dronken aardbei, immers de bevolking van De Krim (inclusief de oorspronkelijke bewoners) kozen massaal, in een door internationale waarnemers goedgekeurd referendum, voor aansluiting bij Rusland, i.p.v. te leven onder een door de VS geparachuteerde neonazi-junta in Kiev……
Hetzelfde geldt voor het zogenaamd oorlogvoeren door het Russische leger in Oost-Oekraïne, als dit het geval was geweest, was heel Oekraïne al lang gezuiverd geweest van neonazi’s (van wie de bataljons m.n. oorlogvoeren tegen de burgerbevolking in Oost-Oekraïne) en had men de zwaar corrupte figuren als juntaleider Porosjenko al een paar jaar geleden het land uitgezet dan wel gevangengezet……
Volgens de twee ‘journalisten’ is Rusland bezig het hele westen te ontwrichten, ondermijnt het de westerse democratie en hebben de veiligheidsdiensten in de VS niets gedaan met een waarschuwing uit 2014 dat Rusland de komende presidentsverkiezingen wilde manipuleren……. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Met bedragen die vergeleken met de uitgaven voor deze verkiezingen ‘peanuts’ waren, ‘heeft Rusland, of beter gezegd Putin de verkiezingen in de VS van 2016 gewonnen……..’ Voor het ondermijnen van de democratie hebben we in het westen bepaald Rusland niet nodig, dat regelen de regeringen en hun steeds machtiger wordende geheime diensten zelf wel……* (natuurlijk geholpen door de reguliere massamedia)
Volgens Corn en Isikoff was de kans groot dat Rusland het elektriciteitsnet in de VS plat zou hebben gelegd, als Obama als reactie op de bemoeienis van Rusland met de verkiezingen, een cyberaanval op Rusland had bevolen……** ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Ofwel: Obama werd nog even neergezet als een slappe president die Rusland veel harder had moeten aanpakken en dat gebaseerd op een niet gedane reactie op een niet bestaande Russische manipulatie, de bewijzen voor dat laatste zijn intussen metershoog….
Ongelofelijk maar waar: Corn en Isikoff hebben zelfs het meer dan achterlijke ‘Steele dossier’*** er met de haren bijgesleept. Het Steele dossier moet gezien worden als een document dat nog niet af was en niet bestemd was voor de argeloze lezer……….ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Het Steele dossier was een soort advies aan de DNC om te zien of ze er wat mee konden doen, zo beweerden de heren…… (DNC: Democratic National Committee: een comité van de democratische partij t.b.v. de verkiezing van destijds Hillary Clinton tot president…… )
Presentatieschaap Mora Lynch (ben niet zeker hoe die naam te schrijven, kan haar naam niet terugvinden op het net) stelde werkelijk niet één kritische vraag en grinnikte veelal om de leugens die voor de zoveelste keer werden herhaald……..

15 jaar geleden begon de regering van George W. Bush de oorlog tegen Irak. Geheel op leugens gebaseerd was dit de aanzet tot een illegale oorlog die intussen aan meer dan 1,5 miljoen burgers het leven heeft gekost.
Deze oorlog was niet mogelijk geweest, als de reguliere (massa-) media niet de leugens van de Bush administratie hadden overgenomen en dat op de voorpagina’s en prominent in nieuws en actualiteiten uitzendingen, of dat nu op de radio of tv was. De term ‘fake news’ bestond destijds nog niet, maar werd wel degelijk op grote schaal gemaakt door de hiervoor genoemde media. Vergeet niet dat meerdere deskundigen en wapeninspecteurs van de VN, zoals Blix, keer op keer stelden dat Irak niet meer in het bezit was van massavernietigingswapens…….
Het volgende artikel gaat Ron Paul dieper in op alle gevolgen van deze illegale oorlog die de VS 15 jaar geleden begon. Voorts noemt hij het huidige tromgeroffel o.l.v. De VS tegen Noord-Korea, waar senator Graham een paar dagen geleden stelde dat een paar miljoen doden geen probleem zijn, als met een oorlog tegen dit land ‘stabiliteit’ in de regio wordt bereikt………..
Jammer dat Paul niet alle andere oorlogsdreigingen van VS en NAVO zijde noemt, zoals een dreigende oorlog tegen Syrië, Iran en Libanon (deze o.l.v. Israël met steun van de VS), waar nog Oekraïne aan toegevoegd kan worden, daar de VS daar niet alleen meer ‘militaire adviseurs’, maar ook zware wapens levert aan dit intussen zo goed als failliete land. Dit nog buiten alle militaire oefeningen langs de Russische grens, waar de VS in feite oefent op een oorlog tegen Rusland…….
Hetzelfde geldt voor China, waar de VS dit land voor een groot deel heeft omringd met militaire bases en waar de Trump administratie dit land meer en meer met militair geweld bedreigt (zoals over de eilandjes die China claimt in de Zuid-Chinese Zee…)…….
Ron Paul: 15 Years After the US Invaded Iraq, It’s Time to Listen to the Iraqi People
(RPI Op-ed) — This month marks the 15th anniversary of the US war on Iraq. The “shock and awe” attack was launched based on “stove-piped” intelligence fed from the CIA and Pentagon through an uncritical and compliant US mainstream media. The US media was a willing accomplice to this crime of aggression committed by the George W. Bush Administration.
Despite the lies we were constantly bombarded with, Iraq never presented a threat to the United States. Iraq never had the weapons of mass destruction that the neocons used to frighten Americans into supporting the war. How many of them knew all along that there were no WMDs? We’ll never know. Attacking Iraq and overthrowing its leader was long a plan in the neocon playbook and they used the 9/11 attack on the US as an excuse to pull the plan off the shelf and put it into action.
The US “regime change” war on Iraq has directly resulted in the death of at least a quarter of a million civilians, and indirectly perhaps a million Iraqis have been killed. The Iraqi infrastructure was destroyed and the country was set back many decades in development. Far from the democratization we were promised, Iraq has been turned into a hell on earth. Due to the US use of depleted uranium and other chemical weapons like white phosphorus, Iraqis will continue to suffer from birth defects and other related illnesses for generations.
How did we get there? War propaganda was essential in paving the way for the Iraq war. Americans are generally skeptical about launching new wars, so it takes a steady media bombardment about the alleged depravities of any targeted regime before public opinion begins to shift in favor of war.
Because the neocons who helped launch the war have never had to face the consequences of their actions, they continue to promote war with impunity. Just this past week, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) was pushing for a US attack on North Korea in which millions may be killed. He said this weekend, “All the damage that would come from a war would be worth it in terms of long-term stability and national security.” That’s just what they said before the US attacked Iraq, and how did that turn out? I find it disgusting that the media continues to give airtime almost exclusively to those who promote more US disasters like Iraq.
The Iraqi parliament did something extraordinary last week. A majority of elected Iraqi representatives voted to demand that their prime minister draw up a timetable for the withdrawal of US troops from the country. President Obama had withdrawn US troops from Iraq in 2011, after a status of forces agreement could not be reached with the Iraqi government, but he returned the US military to Iraq under the auspices of fighting ISIS.
We had no business going into Iraq in the first place and we have no business remaining in Iraq. Al-Qaeda and ISIS emerged in Iraq because our attack and occupation of the country 15 years ago created fertile fields for extremism. Nothing will be achieved if we remain. Let’s listen to the Iraqis and just come home!
