Margriet Brandsma (‘journalist’) vliegt met 10 km/u. uit de Groningse aardgasbocht……

Gistermorgen hoorde ik ex-Duitsland correspondent en ‘journalist’ Brandsma een ongelofelijk domme opmerking maken.

Brandsma zit regelmatig in het Mediaforum op Radio1 en waarschijnlijk dat ze daarom ook al voor 10.00 u. te horen was in het programma ‘Spraakmakers’ (praatjesmakers) van KRO – NCRV. (het ‘Mediaforum’ is een vast onderdeel in dit programma)

Het gesprek kwam uiteraard op het aardgas in Groningen, vanwege de belofte die VVD griezels Rutte en Wiebes hebben gedaan aan de Groningers: de Groningse aardgaswinning zal in 2030 definitief stoppen. Brandsma wil altijd graag laten zien dat ze overal verstand van heeft en sprong gretig op het onderwerp door te stellen dat ze het een schande vindt dat er geen kennis is in Nederland over door de mens veroorzaakte aardbevingen……. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!

Er moeten minstens 3 hoogleraren in Nederland zijn met kennis op dat gebied! Bovendien is daar nog het Staatstoezicht op de Mijnen, met wel degelijk veel kennis op dat gebied……

Die kennis is er zelfs al heel lang, immers in de 70er jaren werd er al gewaarschuwd voor verzakking van de bodem en aardbevingen door de gaswinning…….. De politiek heeft hier niets mee gedaan en liet zich vooral door deskundigen van de NAM en Shell voorlichten, deze ‘deskundigen’ stelden dat het allemaal onzin was…… Ofwel het ligt niet aan degenen de wel degelijk lang geleden al hebben gewaarschuwd voor de gevolgen.(de NAM is eigenlijk een dochter van Shell en intussen ook van ExxonMobil*) aan het woord liet,

Vandaar ook het volgende schandaal: zelfs toen de NAM toestemming kreeg om gas onder de Waddenzee te winnen (vanaf het vast land) een paar jaar geleden onder Rutte 2, dus met PvdA en VVD in het zadel, durfde men nog ‘deskundigen’ op te voeren die durfden te stellen dat bodemdaling in de Waddenzee niet plaats zou vinden…… ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Ja mensen, om dergelijke oplichters kan ik lachen, naast de gebruikelijke vloeken, dat wel…….

Dit terwijl de bodem bewezen is gedaald in Groningen als gevolg van de gaswinning, met andere woorden: ook de bodem van de Waddenzee zal dalen door de aardgaswinning……. Een bodemdaling waarmee dit werelderfgoed vernietigd zal worden…….. (oh ja: PvdA trol en leeghoofd Dijksma gaf als staatssecretaris in Rutte 2 ook nog eens toestemming om vanaf het Friese vaste land zout te winnen vanonder de Waddenzee…..)

Daarover gesproken: het zou me niet verbazen als Nederland meer zal inzetten op gaswinning vanonder de Waddenzee en in de Noordzee, was er aan de Noordzeekant van de Waddeneilanden niet ook een gasveld ontdekt?

En Brandsma? Tijd voor een aanleunwoning!

* Advies van Shell en ExxonMobil, twee oliemaatschappijen die samen met de andere oliemaatschappijen verantwoordelijk zijn voorde opwarming van de aarde…….. Shell en ExxonMobil, bedrijven die intussen een spoor van door hen veroorzaakte milieurampen achter hebben gelaten op onze kleine aarde……

Professor Mark Skidmore van de Michigan State University ging uitzoeken waar 6,5 biljoen dollar was gebleven, 6,5 biljoen die niet waren goedgekeurd door het Congres en kwam er achter dat het werkelijke bedrag veel groter was dan eerder aangegeven en uiteindelijk uitkomt op 21 biljoen (in VS aangeduid als 21 triljoen dollar) niet goedgekeurde uitgaven….

Voor het ‘defensie’ budget bedroeg dit bedrag al meer dan 11 biljoen……. En dan wil Trump dat de andere NAVO partners hun budgetten verder opschroeven……. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Moet je nagaan: de VS het land dat graag woorden gebruikt als ‘corrupte regering’ en ‘democratie brengen’ als een regime niet in de smaak valt……
Ongelofelijk!

 Vergeet voorts niet dat de VS alleen deze eeuw al 4 illegale oorlogen is gestart, oorlogen die een enorm beslag leggen op het defensie uh oorlogsbudget…… De VS geeft alleen al 4 keer zoveel aan defensie uit dan Rusland en China samen! De NAVO lidstaten Groot-Brittannië, Frankrijk, Duitsland en Italië geven al meer dan 3 keer zoveel uit aan defensie dan Rusland……. En maar zeiken om meer geld en dat om de ongebreidelde terreur van de VS en het uitlokken van oorlogen elders te steunen………

 Overigens heeft Trump het leger ‘carte blanche’ gegeven om naar eigen goeddunken extra personeel of wapens in te zetten, zodat controle op de uitgegeven gelden nog veel moeilijker zal worden…….

Professor Mark Skidmore of Michigan State University set out to prove Catherine Austin Fitts and her claims of “missing trillions” and “black budgets” was wrong.
Instead, he discovered the hole was even bigger than that.
The Army alone had $11.5 trillion missing.
Some individual unsupported journal adjustments are SIX TIMES the total annual budget of the Army.
A overall 1% error in government budgets is considered “normal.”
Theese numbers are astronomical.
How can you do a proper evaluation of numbers with figures like this? All spending needs to be a approved by Congress.
“It looks like there’s a whole lot of money flowing in and a whole lot of money flowing out”…completely outside the rule of law.

On July 26, 2016, the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) issued a report “Army General Fund Adjustments Not Adequately Documented or Supported”. The report indicates that for fiscal year 2015 the Army failed to provide adequate support for $6.5 trillion in journal voucher adjustments. According to the GAO’s Comptroller General, “Journal vouchers are summary-level accounting adjustments made when balances between systems cannot be reconciled. Often these journal vouchers are unsupported, meaning they lack supporting documentation to justify the adjustment or are not tied to specific accounting transactions…. For an auditor, journal vouchers are a red flag for transactions not being captured, reported, or summarized correctly.”
(Note, after Mark Skidmore began inquiring about OIG-reported unsubstantiated adjustments, the OIG’s webpage, which documented, albeit in a highly incomplete manner, these unsupported “accounting adjustments,” was mysteriously taken down. Fortunately, Mark copied the July 2016 report and all other relevant OIG-reports in advance and reposted them here. Mark has repeatedly tried to contact Lorin Venable, Assistant Inspector General at the Office of the Inspector General. He has emailed, phoned, and used LinkedIn to ask Ms. Venable about OIG’s disclosure of unsubstantiated adjustments, but she has not responded.)
Given that the entire Army budget in fiscal year 2015 was $120 billion, unsupported adjustments were 54 times the level of spending authorized by Congress. The July 2016 report indicates that unsupported adjustments are the result of the Defense Department’s “failure to correct system deficiencies.” The result, according to the report, is that data used to prepare the year-­end financial statements were unreliable and lacked an adequate audit trail. The report indicates that just 170 transactions accounted for $2.1 trillion in year—end unsupported adjustments. No information is given about these 170 transactions. In addition many thousands of transactions with unsubstantiated adjustments were, according to the report, removed by the Army.
There is no explanation concerning why they were removed nor their magnitude. The July 2016 report states, “In addition, DFAS (Defense Finance and Accounting Service) Indianapolis personnel did not document or support why DDRS (The Defense Department Reporting System) removed at least 16,513 of 1.3 million feeder file records during the Third Quarter.”
An appendix to the July 2016 report shows $2 trillion in changes to the Army General Fund balance sheet due to unsupported adjustments. On the asset side, there is $794 billion increase in the Army’s Fund Balance with the U.S. Treasury. There is also an increase of $929 billion in the Army’s Accounts Payable. This information raises additional major questions. First, what is the source of the additional $794 billion in the Army’s Fund Balance? This adjustment represents more than six times appropriated spending.
Second, do these transfers represent a flow of funds to the Army beyond those authorized by Congress? Third, were these funds authorized and if so when and by whom? Fourth, what is the source of these funds? Finally, the $929 billion in Accounts Payable appears to represent an amount owed for items or services purchased on credit. What entities have received or will receive payment?
The July 2016 report is not the only such report of unsubstantiated adjustments. Mark Skidmore and Catherine Austin Fitts, former Assistant Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, conducted a search of government websites and found similar reports dating back to 1998. While the documents are incomplete, original government sources indicate $21 trillion in unsupported adjustments have been reported for the Department of Defense and the Department of Housing and Urban Development for the years 1998-2015.
While government budgets can be complex, our government, like any business, can track receipts and payments and share this information in ways that can be understood by the public. The ongoing occurrence and gargantuan nature of unsupported, i.e., undocumented, U.S. federal government expenditures as well as sources of funding for these expenditures should be a great concern to all tax payers.
Taken together these reports point to a failure to comply with basic Constitutional and legislative requirements for spending and disclosure. We urge the House and Senate Budget Committee to initiate immediate investigations of unaccounted federal expenditures as well as the source of their payment.

PS, On December 11, 2017 we learned that the key documents had been reposted on the OIG website, but with different URLs. On October 5, 2017 we discovered that the link to the report “Army General Fund Adjustments Not Adequately Documented or Supported” had been disabled. Within a several days, the links to other OIG documents we identified in our search were also disabled. The sequential non-random nature of this disabling process suggests a purposeful decision on the part of OIG to make key documents unavailable to the public via the website, as opposed to website reorganization, etc. We also revisited the website intermittently to see whether the documents had been reposted under different URLs—until very recently they had not been reposted. Trump ratelt al een paar jaar over ‘beautiful clean coal’, kolenverbranding die zelfs schoner zou zijn dan verbranding van aardgas, echter daar valt zoals te verwachten was nog wel het e.e.a. ‘op af te dingen…’

Uit het volgende Guardian artikel blijkt dat ‘clean coal’ (schone steenkool) niet bestaat en niet gemaakt kan worden, kortom je reinste bedrog!

High above the red dirt and evergreen trees of Kemper County, Mississippi, gleams a 15-story monolith of pipes surrounded by a town-sized array of steel towers and white buildings. The hi-tech industrial site juts out of the surrounding forest, its sharp silhouette out of place amid the gray crumbling roads, catfish stands and trailer homes of nearby De Kalb, population: 1,164.
The $7.5bn Kemper power plant once drew officials from as far as Saudi Arabia, Japan and Norway to marvel at a 21st-century power project so technologically complex its builder compared it to the moonshot of the 1960s. It’s promise? Energy from “clean coal”.
“I’m impressed,” said Jukka Uosukainen, the United Nations director for the Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN), after a 2014 tour, citing Kemper as an example of how “maybe using coal in the future is possible”.
Kemper, its managers claimed, would harness dirt-cheap lignite coal – the world’s least efficient and most abundant form of coal – to power homes and businesses in America’s lowest-income state while causing the least climate-changing pollution of any fossil fuel. It was a promise they wouldn’t keep.

Last summer the plant’s owner, Southern Company, America’s second-largest utility company, announced it was abandoning construction after years of blown-out budgets and missed construction deadlines.
“It hit us hard,” said Craig Hitt, executive director of the Kemper County Economic Development Authority. Some 75 miners, roughly half living inside Kemper County, have already been affected in a region where unemployment is 7.1% compared to a national average of just 4.1%.
“It was going to be the biggest project in the history of the county, possibly in the state of Mississippi,” Hitt said. Instead, this year, Kemper County was home to one of the first large coalmining layoffs of the Trump era.
It’s failure is also likely to have a profound impact on the future of “clean coal”. “This was the flagship project that was going to lead the way for a whole new generation of coal power plants,” said Richard Heinberg, senior fellow at the Post Carbon Institute. “If the initial project doesn’t work then who’s going to invest in any more like it?”
Company officials have blamed the failure on factors ranging from competition from tumbling natural
gas prices to bad weather, bad timing and plain old bad luck.
But a review by the Guardian of more than 5,000 pages of confidential company documents, internal emails, white papers, and other materials provided anonymously by several former Southern Co insiders, plus on- and off-record interviews with other former Kemper engineers and managers, found evidence that top executives covered up construction problems and fundamental design flaws at the plant and knew, years before they admitted it publicly, that their plans had gone awry.
Their public statements helped to prolong the notion that their “clean coal” power could be affordable, costing Southern’s customers and shareholders billions, giving false hope to miners and firing dreams that American innovation had provided a path forward for “clean coal” technology at a reasonable price.

‘A pony show’

“It was exciting times, but it turned out to be like a mirage,” said Brett Wingo, a former Southern Co engineer who first went public with his concerns about Kemper’s construction delays in a front-page New York Times investigative report in 2016 and is now suing the company over alleged retaliation. “It was a cool trick – on all of us.”
Kemper’s failure will have a profound impact on international plans to slow climate change which relyheavily on the rapid development of technology to capture carbon and store it, technology that has so far shown little progress.
The United States has spent hundreds of millions in federal taxpayer funds chasing the chimera of clean coal. Donald Trump has been particularly vocal about his support for clean coal. “We have ended the war on American energy and we have ended the war on beautiful, clean coal,” he said in this year’s State of the Union address.
Kemper promised a way forward. But the documents show that while Southern Co management presented a rosy picture of Kemper’s prospects to the public, numerous structural problems with the project had emerged during construction and internal documents questioned the very foundation of the plant’s viability.

In a 24 April 2013 earnings call, for example, Southern’s CEO Tom Fanning regretted Kemper’s newly announced first budget blowout, a $540m hike, but described “tremendous progress” on construction and said “the scheduled in-service date” was achievable.

D66 zijn niet in de laatste plaats tegen het referendum vanwege de roep om een referendum over de vrijhandelsverdragen TTIP en CETA (waar de laatste al is getekend door de EU…)…… Je zal begrijpen dat het neoliberale afbraakkabinet Rutte 3 (zoals haar voorgangers) pal achter deze verdragen staat, verdragen waarmee de bedrijven macht krijgen over regeringen en de consument het nakijken heeft……. We hebben in Nederland dan ook al jaren een bedrijfsvertegenwoordiging i.p.v. een volksvertegenwoordiging, waarbij de belangen van bedrijven (en welgestelden) voor ‘onze democratische waarden’ gaan……

Het referendum over TTIP en CETA staat nog steeds open, teken ajb en geeft het door!

Dat de gehieme diensten van de VS vooral heel vaak liegen als ze iets beweren is al heel lang bekend, maar de FBI maakt ‘t nu wel helemaal bont……..

De oprichter van RT (Russia Today) en voormalig media adviseur van de Russische regering, Mikhail Lesin, werd in november 2015 dood gevonden in zijn hotelkamer te Washington (DC). De autoriteiten hielden het op een hartaanval, een conclusie die haaks stond op de werkelijkheid, gezien het autopsie rapport dat maanden later verscheen……

Zo had Lesin wonden aan het hoofd en het lichaam die waren toegebracht met een stomp voorwerp…….

De FBI maakte hier later het verhaal van dat Lesin zichzelf had dood geslagen, o.a. door zich herhaaldelijk tegen de grond te werpen, dit onder invloed van ethanol, ofwel alcohol…….. Je snapt ‘t al: kul van groot kaliber! De VS sloot in 2016 het dossier uiteindelijk met de conclusie dat Lesin op een natuurlijke manier aan z’n einde was gekomen……ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Kortom: alweer is ook de FBI verantwoordelijk voor ‘fake news….’

‘Toevallig’ kwamen in de tijd van Lesins dood en daarna meerdere Russische hoogwaardigheidsbekleders e.d. ‘op een vreemde manier’ aan hun einde……… (zie de links onder het ZeroHedge artikel)

Gezien de agressie van de geheime diensten in de VS, is het de vraag hoe lang het zal duren voordat deze moorden worden toegeschreven aan die geheime diensten, dan wel dat ze door deze diensten werden geïnitieerd……..

FBI Releases Docs Claiming RT Founder Beat Himself To Death In His Hotel Room

The FBI just released the results of their investigation claiming that the media mogul and found of RT killed himself by repeatedly smashing his head and upper body into the ground.
In November 2015, the Free Thought Project reported that Mikhail Lesin, the former head of media affairs for the Russian government, and the founder of Russia Today (RT), was found dead in the hotel room that he was staying at in Washington DC.
Originally, authorities announced that Lesin died from a heart attack.
However, the results of his autopsy released months later indicated a far more sinister cause of death and the heavily redacted FBI documents that were just released add to that story.
The documents, detailing the FBI investigation into Lesin’s death were just released Saturday morning in spite of the investigation ending in October of 2016.
In spite of the original cause of death noted as a heart attack, a few months later, the District of Colombia’s Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) and Metropolitan Police Department said that “blunt force injuries of the neck, torso, upper extremities and lower extremities” contributed to Lesin’s death. “The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) has released the cause and manner of death for Mikhail Lesin… Cause of Death: blunt force injuries of the head,” the statement said.
Now, FBI investigators have released the results of their investigation claiming that the blunt force trauma all over his body was self-inflicted.

“Mr. Lesin died as a result of blunt for injuries to his head, with contributing causes being blunt force injuries of the neck, torso, upper extremities, and lower extremities, which were induced by falls, with acute ethanol intoxication,” the report states.

In other words, the FBI is claiming that Lesin got so drunk that he repeatedly and violently fell on things until he killed himself.
To show just how much information the FBI is willing to release on these findings, here is the version of the amended autopsy report they released in the report.
Essentially, all other information in regards to the findings of Lesin’s death has been scrubbed from the documents as the remaining pages are almost entirely redacted.
Not only did the US remain tight-lipped on the investigation but they also refused to allow Russian authorities to cooperate.
As RT reports, back in 2016, months before the closing of the case, Moscow said it was expecting Washington to explain why Russia had not received any details from the probe into Lesin’s death, despite repeated requests.

“We are awaiting the related clarifications from Washington and the official data on the progress of the investigation,” Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova wrote in a Facebook post at that time. She added that if the media reports citing the forensic statement are confirmed, Russia will send an official request to the US “for international legal assistance.”

In October 2016, the US authorities announced that Lesin died of natural causes and closed the case. “Based on the evidence, including video footage and witness interviews, Mr. Lesin entered his hotel room on the morning of Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2015, after days of excessive consumption of alcohol and sustained the injuries that resulted in his death while alone in his hotel room,” the US attorney for the District of Columbia said in a statement.
Lesin’s death came at a time where he was surrounded by controversy, especially in the US. RT, the Russian-based news source that Lesin founded has become very controversial in the US—ostensibly for the fake Russiagate scandal—but in reality, for challenging the western narrative of foreign policy and privacy issues. Some US politicians have suggested that RT be banned in the US for “spreading propaganda,” while others have been blatant enough to attack Lesin personally.
According to the NY Times, until late 2014 Lesin ran the media wing of the state’s energy giant, Gazprom, before stepping down or, more likely, being forced out. He ended up in the United States, where he and his family owned properties in Los Angeles said to be worth far more than the salary of the former government minister.
Some US Senators, including Roger Wicker of Mississippi, had called for the Department of Justice to open an investigation into Lesin’s finances prior to his death.
Wicker was concerned that Lesin made too much money, something that was really none of his business.

“That a Russian public servant could have amassed the considerable funds required to acquire and maintain these assets in Europe and the United States raises serious questions,” Wicker said.

The original announcement of the heart attack back in November 2015 makes this case all the more ominous considering the fact that the medical examiner’s office also said Lesin’s body had blunt force trauma to the neck, torso, arms and legs too. How did authorities overlook his wounds?
As RT reports, Lesin was considered one of the most influential figures in the Russian media landscape. A graduate of Moscow State University with a degree in Civil Engineering, he served as Minister of Press and Mass Media from 1999 to 2004. He was also a presidential media adviser from 2004 to 2009. Lesin became chief executive officer at Garprom-Media in 2013 and remained in the position until early 2015.

Maxim Verhagen (CDA ex-‘minister’) van Bouwend Nederland wil snelle uitkering voor aardbevingsschade Groningen…………….

Maxim Verhagen de oude opperknuppel van het CDA, eerder minister en vicepremier, die nu de zaken behartigt van de Nederlandse bouwmaffia, liet gistermorgen bij BNR (na 8.30 u.), op z’n gemaakt ernstige toontje, weten dat er nu toch eindelijk geld over de brug moet komen, geld voor de Groningers met aardbevingsschade aan hun huis………

Miste het begin van dit programmaonderdeel, maar Verhagen werd waarschijnlijk ingeschakeld door BNR nadat bekend is geworden dat van de uitgekeerde aardbevingsschadekosten, twee derde (van € 1,6 miljard….) is gegaan naar adviesbureaus en andere organisaties (bijvoorbeeld administratieve krachten, planners, onderzoekers en ik neem aan ‘financiële’ organisaties)……. Geld dat dus niet naar mensen ging die de fundamenten komen versterken, of desnoods naar eerlijke ondernemers die een echt duurzaam splinternieuw huis neerzetten, uiteraard aardbevingsbestendig. Nee, het geld is weer eens voor het overgrote deel naar pennenlikkers gegaan……..

Daar kan blijkbaar wel onmiddellijk betaald worden……….. Misselijkmakend……..

Geen zaak voor ‘onze’ Maxim, hij liet alweer op ‘ernstige toon’ weten dat hij die enorme uitgaven toch wel voor een fiks deel begreep……. Ach ja, ook de pennenlikkers maken deel uit van de bouwmaffia, voor wie hij de belangen moet behartigen ………

Trouwens als je niet beter zou weten, zou je warempel denken dat Maxim bijna tot tranen toe geroerd was over de ellende die de bewoners in het aardbevingsgebied meemaken, tja je kan er ook moeilijk bij gaan lachen of grinniken, zaken waar Maxim toch al niet best in is………….

Uiteindelijk kwam de aap uit de mouw, ook de regionale bouwbedrijven hebben geïnvesteerd in nieuwe bouwtechnieken en machines die gebruikt moeten worden voor de aardbevingsschade, dus die moeten rap aan de slag…….. Dit is overigens een herhaling van zetten, op 1 juni 2016 hield Verhagen in dezelfde hoedanigheid, dus als capo di tutti capi van de bouwmaffia hetzelfde pleidooi…….

Terug naar gistermorgen: zo te horen kan BNR oliebol van Werven het wel vinden met ‘onze Maxim’, snap ook niet goed waarom hij nu weer kwam opdraven…… Immers de uitbetaling van de aardbevingsschade is geen zaak van Bouwend Nederland, waarschijnlijk wilde hij met deze actie zijn partijcollega’s in de Kamer en Rutte 3 wakker schudden met het feit dat deze schadegelden uiteindelijk bij de bouwbedrijven terechtkomen en of ze maar even haast willen maken met regelgeving die de schade bedragen laat binnenlopen bij de bouwbedrijven….. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!





VS liegt schaamteloos om het westen verder op te zetten tegen Iran……..

Dat de VS geen kans voorbij laat gaan om Iran af te schilderen als een uiterst gevaarlijke staat, die terreur brengt in het Midden-Oosten, kan niemand ontgaan zijn, de reguliere media herhalen deze leugen met grote graagte……

Ondanks dat juist de VS, Israël en Saoedi-Arabië de grote agressors zijn in het Midden-Oosten, waar de VS zelfs al 3 illegale oorlogen is begonnen (als je Afghanistan tot het Midden-Oosten rekent) en waar Saoedi-Arabië zelfs alle terreurgroepen in Syrië voorzag en voorziet van geld en wapens……. (zo nog wat ‘wapenfeiten’ van S-A…)
Haley de oorlogshoer, die VS ambassadeur is in de VN, durft daar ten overstaan van de wereld de ene ongeloofwaardige leugen na de andere over Iran te maken……
De laatste smerige leugen van Haley betrof de ‘raketbeschietingen’ van Saoedisch grondgebied door de Houthi’s uit Jemen. De schoft spuwde vuur, terwijl die ‘raketten’ niet één persoon hebben gedood en zelf geen of amper schade hebben aangericht….. Waar Haley de schuld voor die raketbeschietingen bij Iran legt……
Tegelijkertijd bombardeert Saoedi-Arabië Jemen dagelijks meerdere keren, heeft het een hongersnood veroorzaakt in Jemen en is het de veroorzaker van de uitbraak van cholera en difterie, alle ingredienten voor een volledige genocide van de sjiitische bevolking in Jemen. De VN waarschuwde de wereld afgelopen donderdag nog dat er snel moet worden gehandeld, daar in Jemen de hongersnood zo groot zal worden, als in decennia niet gezien op onze aarde……
Daarnaast hebben de Houthi’s geen luchtmacht en is hun legermacht vergeleken met het ultra moderne Saoedische leger een lachertje….. Een lachertje dat toch weet te winnen van de Saoedische coalitie, die in feite wordt geleid door de VS….. En dit is bepaald niet te danken aan de veredelde vuurpijlen die de Houthi’s afschieten op Saoedi-Arabië……..

 Jammer dat de schrijver van het volgende artikel, Darius Shahtahmasebi, dit niet onderkent en de veredelde vuurpijlen van de Houthi’s aanziet voor Iraanse rakettechnologie, dit n.a.v. uitlatingen die ex-wapeninspecteur voor de VN, Scott Ritter deed over deze raketten….. (Iran kan NB raketten in de ruimte brengen en heeft dat meermaals gedaan, m.a.w.: als de Houthi’s over Iraanse raketten zouden beschikken, was Riyad al voor een deel in puin gelegd….) Overigens werd er in de brokstukken van de raketten, naast onderdelen uit Rusland (het geheel bestaat uit 40 jaar oude Sovjet Scud raketten) en een onderdeel uit Iran, ook een onderdeel uit de VS gevonden…… ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!

 Over de kop van het volgende artikel valt niet te twisten: de VS probeert op alle manieren Iran in het diskrediet te brengen. Dat blijkt eens te meer uit het commentaar van de Trump administratie t.a.v. de protesten in Iran: de regering van Iran moet hoe dan ook worden uitgeschakeld……. De kritiek van de VS over mensenrechtenschendingen e.d. in Iran is uiterst hypocriet, alsof de VS ook maar iets heeft met de Iraanse bevolking…. Terwijl een land dat de mensenrechten veel harder onderuit haalt, ja zoals gezegd zelfs een genocide uitvoert in buurland Jemen, de reli-fascistische dictatuur van Saoedi-Arabië, geen kritiek krijgt van de VS…. Sterker nog, de VS onderhoudt ‘vreemd genoeg’ wel goede banden met S-A en werkt zelfs mee aan de Saoedische genocide in Jemen (en nogmaals: zelfs een leidende functie heeft in de Saoedische coalitie….)… (over die protesten in Iran heb ik al een bericht in voorbereiding, dat zal ik vanmiddag of morgen publiceren.)

The US Is Blatantly Telling Lies as It Tries to Turn the World Against Iran

(ANTIMEDIA) — It’s no secret that the Trump administration has a strong distaste for Iran. Iran is one of the only issues on which the U.S. president has remained relatively consistent. Trump berated the country both before and after taking office.
However, Trump’s anti-Iran strategy goes against the better judgment of even the most anti-Iranian advisors in his staff who don’t want to see the U.S. isolated on the world stage. Fortunately for Trump, however, he is not alone in his bid to isolate and demonize Iran at all costs.
On December 12, Trump’s ambassador to the U.N., Nikki Haley, gave a grandiose speech demonizing Iran that echoed Colin Powell’s infamous performance before the U.N. in 2003. Haley’s essential claim was that Saudi Arabia is under attack by missiles supplied to Yemen by the Iranian government and that the world should not sit idly by as this goes on.
“If we do nothing about the missiles fired at Saudi Arabia, we will not be able to stop the violence,” Haley warned. “There is clear evidence that the missiles that landed on Saudi Arabia come from Iran,” she said. “The evidence is undeniable. The weapons might as well have had ‘Made in Iran’ stickers all over it.”
However, even as Haley opened her mouth, many commentators could already identify a number of issues with her speech
As Common Dream’s Reza Marashi explained:
“Haley cited a UN report in her claim regarding Iranian missile transfers to the Houthis. Of course, the UN has reached no such conclusion. Instead, a panel of experts concluded that fired missile fragments show components from an Iranian company, but they have ‘no evidence as to the identity of the broker or supplier.’ Asked about Haley’s claim that Iran is the culprit, Sweden’s ambassador to the UN said, ‘The info I have is less clear.’ Analysts from the U.S. Department of Defense speaking to reporters at Haley’s speech openly acknowledged that they do not know the missiles’ origin. Perhaps most surreal is the very same UN report cited by Haley also says the missile included a component that was manufactured by an American company. Did she disingenuously omit that inconvenient bit from her remarks, or fail to read the entire UN report? The world may never know.”
Regardless of the fact that Haley misrepresented the U.N. report in question, it appears the entire premise of the U.N. report is almost completely incorrect, anyway, according to former inspector Scott Ritter.
Ritter writes:
The modification kits, on the other hand, appear to be of Iranian origin, and were transported to Yemen via Oman. The UN panel claims not to have any evidence of ‘external missile specialists’ working alongside the Houthi; indeed, the simplicity of the Burkhan 2-H modification concept is such that anyone already familiar with the SCUD-B missile system would be able to implement the required processes without outside assistance.” [emphasis added]

So where did the missiles come from, and who made them? According to Ritter:
“Rather than the Iranian-manufactured Qiam-1 missiles Haley and the Saudi Arabian government claimed, the debris presented by Haley were of a modified Soviet-manufactured SCUD-B missile; the airframe and engine are original Soviet-made components, and many of the smaller parts on display bear Cyrillic (i.e., Russian) markings. The transformation to the Burkhan 2-H design required the Houthi engineers to increase the size of the fuel and oxidizer tanks, and lengthen the airframe accordingly. This is done by cutting the airframe, and welding in place the appropriate segments (this also required that the fuel supply pipe, which passes through the oxidizer tank, be similarly lengthened.) The difference in quality between the factory welds and the new welds is readily discernable. The increased fuel supply permits a longer engine burn, which in turn increases the range of the missile. The Burkhan 2-H uses a smaller warhead than the SCUD B; as such, the guidance and control section had been reconfigured to a smaller diameter, and an inter-stage section added to connect the warhead/guidance section with the main airframe.”
Those who have been paying attention to this conflict have been well aware that the U.S. has had little material evidence to link Yemen’s Houthis to Iranian arms suppliers. In January of this year, a panel of U.N. experts stated:

“The panel has not seen sufficient evidence to confirm any direct large-scale supply of arms from the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran, although there are indicators that anti-tank guided weapons being supplied to the Houthi or Saleh forces are of Iranian manufacture.” [emphasis added]
Even if Iran were arming the Houthis, Haley’s hypocritical anti-Iran rhetoric doesn’t excuse the U.S. for continuing a foreign policy that essentially armed ISIS through U.S. weapons transfers, or for arming al-Qaeda’s affiliate in Syria, just to name two examples of Washington’s schizophrenic approach to the region. Why is the U.S. singling out Iran, especially when the Houthi rebels are sworn enemies of al-Qaeda?
The issues here go much deeper than nonsensical hypocrisy. According to Ritter, the entire debacle has shown that if Saudi Arabia cannot contain the Houthi’s missile capabilities, it cannot possibly hope to take on Iran, which possesses a significantly more advanced military than the Houthis do on their own.
Ritter explains further:
“If a relatively unsophisticated foe such as the Houthi, using Iranian-modified Soviet and North Korean missiles derived from 40-year-old technology, can evade an enemy force using the most modern combat aircraft backed up by the most sophisticated intelligence gathering systems available, and successfully launch ballistic missiles that threaten the political and economic infrastructure of the targeted state, what does that say about the prospects of any U.S.-led coalition taking on the far more advanced mobile missile threats that exist in North Korea and Iran today? The fact of the matter is that no military anywhere has shown the ability to successfully interdict in any meaningful way a determined opponent armed with mobile ballistic missile capability. If the Saudi experience in Yemen is to teach us anything, it is that any military plan designed to confront nations such as North Korea, Iran and Russia that are armed with sophisticated mobile ballistic missiles had better count on those capabilities remaining intact throughout any anticipated period of hostility. No amount of chest-thumping and empty rhetoric by American political and/or military leaders can offset this harsh reality. This is the critical lesson of Yemen, and the United States would do well to heed it before it tries to foment a crisis based upon trumped-up charges.” [emphasis added]
