Van Baalen (VVD EU): Teheran is natuurlijk wel betrokken bij terreur………. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!

In het onvolprezen maffe BNR programma ‘De Wereld’, van de levend geworden rollade Hammelburg ( “Er zijn 197 buitenlanden en dat is best veel hoor…”), gisteren VVD blaaskaak, slaapbol en EU grofgraaier van Baalen.

Toen ik afstemde werd van Baalen net gevraagd naar de reactie van het beest Trump op de terreuraanslagen in Teheran (Iran), die geen medeleven uitsprak, maar Iran een ‘net goed’ Twitterbericht toevoegde, zo van als je je met terreur bezig houdt, moet je niet opkijken als jezelf het slachtoffer wordt…….

Vreemd ook, daar de aanslagen die in Europa worden gepleegd, zogenaamd nooit iets met de grootschalige westerse terreur in het Midden-Oosten te maken hebben……..

Van Baalen vond dat wonder boven wonder een onbehoorlijke reactie van Trump, waarbij hij zijn medeleven uitsprak voor de slachtoffers en nabestaanden in Iran. Maar zo voegde van Baalen toe, Teheran is natuurlijk wel betrokken bij terreur……. Daarop mompelde Hammelburg: “Hamas……..” Nooit is er ook maar één Iraniër in het buitenland opgepakt voor terreuraanslagen, maar dat maakt de rechtse oorlogshitsers geen reet uit, Iran zou wapens leveren aan terreurgroepen en dat is genoeg…….

Zo wordt Iran door westerse politici en de reguliere westerse media nog steeds beschuldigd van het leveren van wapens aan de Houthi’s in Jemen, iets waar geen flinter bewijs voor kan worden geleverd……… Wel is duidelijk dat Saoedi-Arabië een genocide (ultieme terreur) uitvoert op de sjiitische bevolking van Jemen, gesteund door de VS en andere westerse landen, zoals Nederland…….. vannacht maakte BBC World Service bekend, dat er nu al 800 doden te betreuren zijn door de cholera uitbraak, die zoals de hongersnood in dat land één op één is te danken aan de Saoedische terreur……

Hammelburg maakte in zijn graagte wat toe te voegen de fout om de soennitische terreur te noemen…. Tja dan blijft er niet veel Iraanse (sjiitische) terreur over, immers alle terreur in het westen en die in het Midden-Oosten, anders dan die door de VS c.s., heeft een overduidelijke soennitische handtekening! Althans als je Hamas, dat ook een sociaal maatschappelijke functie vervult, niet meerekent. Je zou zelfs kunnen zeggen, dat Hamas Palestijnen en Libanezen probeert te verdedigen tegen Israëlische terreur. Tja, als je dat doet ben je nu eenmaal een terrorist en een antisemiet……….

Dan is er de vraag, na het mompelen van Hamas door Hammelburg, wie er in het voormalige Palestina is begonnen met grootschalige terreur, al in de 40er jaren van de vorige eeuw. Die vraag is makkelijk te beantwoorden: de zionisten die later hun staat Israël vestigden en sindsdien een voortdurende terreur hebben uitgeoefend op de Palestijnse bevolking. Middels die terreur is zelfs het grootste deel van de Palestijnse grond gestolen en zijn de oorspronkelijke bewoners gemarteld, vermoord en voor een groot deel uit hun huizen verdreven…… Me dunkt, een ‘top staaltje terreur…..’

Van Baalen en Hammelburg spreken over de Palestijnen alsof die gelijkwaardig zijn aan het fascistische Israëlische apartheidsbewind van Netanyahu; te zot voor woorden natuurlijk!! Alles wat Israël doet is goed in de ogen van voornoemd geteisem, terwijl de wanhoopsdaden van individuele Palestijnen als terreur worden afgeschilderd……..

Over het mislukken van westerse geheime diensten om daders van aanslagen tegen te houden, terwijl ze bekend zijn bij deze diensten (en meestal ook de politie) zei van Baalen (zoals gewoonlijk uiterst onsmakelijk slurp-sprekend), dat er geen lijnen zijn gelegd (zoals bij de 911 aanvallen)…….. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!

Nee, die lijnen worden blijkbaar expres niet gelegd, zeker als je keer op keer te horen krijgt, dat geheime diensten, zoals die in de VS bij de 911 aanslagen, de daders in het vizier hadden. Sterker nog, zoals ook nu weer gebeurde voorafgaand aan de aanslagen in Manchester en Londen: de geheime diensten werden zelfs kort voor de aanslagen gewaarschuwd voor de jihadisten die plannen hadden voor aanslagen, met namen en rugnummers van de daders en toch werden van Baalens lijnen niet gelegd…….

Corbyn werd nog genoemd i.v.m. de verkiezingen in GB, ik zal u al het duffe geouwehoer besparen, maar moet wel een uitlating van van Baalen weergeven: volgens van Baalen heeft Corbyn achter de IRA en Noord-Korea aangelopen…….. Alsof genuanceerd denken over hoe om te gaan met de IRA en Noord-Korea, hetzelfde is als achter die twee aanlopen…………

Jan Jaap de Ruiter was nog te horen, voordat ik een andere zender opzocht. Deze vervelende lulpraatjesmaker van de universiteit van Tilburg, stelde dat Iran vuile handen maakt in Syrië………. Iran is maar met een beperkte groep militairen werkzaam in Syrië en vecht daar zoals het reguliere Syrische leger en  de Russen, tegen de gematigde rebellen, ofwel IS, Al Qaida en andere heftige terreurgroepen, maar ja die worden gesteund door de VS en haar hielenlikkende westerse partners (nogmaals: waaronder Nederland)……. Vandaar die uitlating van de Ruiter………

Nog even over van Baalen: u begrijpt natuurlijk wel dat deze hansworst, de illegale oorlogen die de VS alleen deze eeuw al begon, zoals die tegen Afghanistan, Irak, Libië en nu weer Syrië*,  niet het predicaat ‘terreur’ meegeeft, ook al hebben deze oorlogen al meer dan 2 miljoen mensenlevens gekost (massamoorden op naam van de VS en haar bondgenoten, waaronder nogmaals Nederland…)….

De VS oefent in tegenstelling tot Iran grootschalige terreur uit (Iran dat volgens van Baalen ‘natuurlijk wel’ betrokken is bij terreur) en begint zoals gezegd de ene na de andere illegale oorlog (zo ongeveer de grootste oorlogsmisdaad die te bedenken is)……… Om over alle standrechtelijke executies middels VS drones nog maar te zwijgen, ‘illegale executies’ waarbij meer dan 90% van de slachtoffers niet eens verdacht is, veel kinderen en vrouwen dus…….. Ook dat is terreur van Baalen!

* De VS was al vanaf 2006 bezig was met de voorbereiding van een coup tegen Assad, dit middels het uitlokken van een opstand. Hetzelfde scenario heeft de VS in Oekraïne gevolgd, al is het daar met meer ‘succes’. Daarmee en middels het parachuteren van de neonazi-junta van Porosjenko, is de VS ook verantwoordelijk voor de vreselijke oorlog die de neonazi-bataljons in Oost-Oekraïne uitvechten. (24/7 worden daar dorpen en steden gebombardeerd door die bataljons, iets waar de reguliere westerse media en politici niet over reppen….)…. De neonazi-junta in Kiev wordt door een aantal NAVO landen, met de VS voorop, militair gesteund middels levering van: wapens, munitie en militaire training, waarmee de mensen in Oost-Oekraïne worden vermoord

In de VS (en daarbuiten) spreken de reguliere mediaorganen hosanna over de aanstelling van sjoemelaar en oplichter Mueller, de ex-FBI chef, als hoofdonderzoeker naar ‘de Trump – Rusland connectie’.

Dezelfde Mueller deed onderzoek naar de antrax aanvallen in de VS na de 911 terreuraanvallen in 2001. Hoewel hij niet verantwoordelijk was, voor de bewering, dat het Irak van Saddam Hoessein achter die antrax aanvallen zat, heeft hij de 6 jaar daarna flink z’n best gedaan om zoveel mogelijk te verdoezelen, de zaak te vertroebelen voor het volk en de zaak zolang mogelijk te rekken….. Immers de VS besloot mede op basis van die antrax aanvallen en de massavernietigingswapens door/van Irak, dat land aan te vallen…….. Overigens bleek na onderzoek, dat de gebruikte antrax uit een legerlaboratorium van de VS kwam…….

Gisteren bracht Anti-Media een artikel over deze zaak, een artikel dat eerder op MintPress News verscheen, geschreven door Robbie Martin. Hij concludeert dat er grote overeenkomsten zijn, met de eerdere aanklachten tegen Saddam Hoessein en die nu tegen Rusland worden gebruikt.

Mensen, je weet niet wat je leest en ik zelf kan (alweer) maar één conclusie trekken: de VS wordt geregeerd door een stel psychopathische gekken, waar de echte macht voor een groot deel niet eens bij de regering ligt, maar bij de ‘Deep-State’*

And “Russiagate”: Mueller’s Special Counsel Appointment Should
Raise Concern

(MPN) Amidst
the overwhelming bipartisan
praise given to former FBI Director Robert Mueller for
his appointment as special counsel in the Trump-Russia investigation,
few media outlets have voiced concern over his credentials.
Mueller’s unforgivably
poor performance during
an investigation into the 2001 anthrax scare should give pause to
those who hope to find out the truth about Russia’s alleged
involvement in U.S. politics.


In
October 2001 – less than a month after the 9/11 terror attacks –
weaponized anthrax spores were
sent through the U.S. mail system to
prominent politicians and journalists. The anthrax attacks generated
hysteria and panic, as well as created the perception that terrorism
was going to remain a major threat, with 9/11 representing just the
first wave.

The
anthrax attacks also provided the George W. Bush administration with
the opportunity to create a three-way connection in the public
consciousness between the 9/11 attacks, the anthrax attacks, and
Saddam Hussein. The “WMD lies” that would lead the U.S. into war
in Iraq were hatched from one initial lie: that the anthrax mailings
had fingerprints that could be traced
back to the
Iraqi government’s biological weapons program and that they
represented a second wave of terrorism.

Major
players in the U.S. government made
strong efforts to link the anthrax attacks to the Iraqi government –
efforts that Mueller played no part in. But in the following six
years, Mueller did participate in a public disinformation campaign
that muddied the waters regarding the 2001 anthrax attacks.

He
and his bureau were in a position to unravel the underlying rationale
for mounting an illegal invasion that left over a million Iraqi
civilians dead. Instead, they worked to bury that rationale and stoke
fears that would help to prop up public support for the invasion.
Looking back at the way in which the case was handled, it is clear
that Mueller may not be the most suitable candidate for heading the
ongoing investigation into “Russiagate.”

Flimsy
evidence and false accusations

As
early as Nov. 9, 2001 – less than one month after the anthrax
attacks began – the FBI had identified
anthrax in the letters as being of the “Ames strain,” a
strain of anthrax that was isolated by U.S. researchers in 1981. Due
to its domestic origins, the FBI concluded that the attacks were
likely perpetrated by someone working within the U.S. and not by a
foreign actor.

Despite
having this knowledge, the Bush administration sent then-Secretary of
State Colin Powell to the UN with
a prop vial of anthrax in
order to obtain support for the Iraq War. Mueller could’ve turned
the course of events at the time by making sure the press was aware
that the most likely culprit was inside the U.S., but instead chose
not to interfere with Bush’s neoconservative agenda. Powell’s
presentation of “evidence” of Iraq’s alleged possession of
chemical and biological weapons formed a major part of the U.S.
effort to build a case for war in Iraq – although the country’s
possession of these weapons would eventually prove to be a falsehood.

In
another pivotal moment in the case, Mueller privately briefed Senator
Patrick Leahy (D-VT) and former Senator Tom Daschle – both of
whom were targeted with anthrax letters – regarding the FBI’s
prime suspect, a retired
bioweapons scientist named Steven Hatfil.

Mueller’s
best evidence came from bloodhounds, who had evidently traced
the scent from the anthrax letters to Hatfil’s apartment.
What Mueller neglected to mention is that bloodhound scent evidence
is often
inaccurate and has even led to wrongful convictions.
But it was too late for Hatfil, as the press had already begun to
crucify him after the FBI came forward with its “evidence.” Some
agents even used the bloodhounds as props in press conferences that
could be better described as publicity stunts.

Hatfil’s
life was turned upside-down by the accusations. He was hounded by the
FBI and other authorities, facing deliberate
harassment tactics often referred to as “bumper locking.” He
tearfully denied the FBI’s accusations during two news conferences
held in August 2002, but by that time his life and career had already
been shredded to pieces due to his naming as a “person of interest”
in the investigation. Hatfil would later receive
a $4.6-million-dollar
settlement from the FBI in 2008 after
filing a lawsuit against the Bureau, but only after five years of
litigation and the destruction of his personal and professional
reputation.

But
Mueller and the FBI weren’t done yet. That same year, they ended
up pinning
the attacks on a man named Bruce Ivins,
a senior biodefense researcher at Maryland’s Fort Detrick military
installation. Their accusation would lead Ivins to commit
suicide by overdosing on
a combination of Tylenol and codeine, a method of suicide that some
thought to be an unlikely choice for someone with Ivins’ level of
biological expertise.

Even
after claiming to have solved the case, the FBI faced
skepticism regarding its conclusions.
Leahy spoke to Mueller at a three-hour public hearing, stating that
he did not believe that Ivins was the only culprit:

“I
believe there were others involved either before or after the fact
who were complicit…I believe there are others involved who could be
charged with murder.”

Leahy’s
Republican counterpart, former Senator Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania,
also questioned the FBI’s findings:

“I’ve
looked over a good bit of the evidence on the anthrax case just to
contrast prosecutors’ opinions…and I have grave doubts about
sufficiency of evidence for proof beyond a reasonable doubt.”

When
the FBI decided to give a press conference on the final conclusion of
their investigation, Mueller declined to attend, eating dinner at a
restaurant about a block away. He instead allowed two lower-ranking
investigators to sweat their way through the surprisingly adversarial
questions that were lobbed at them by attending journalists.

Video
of this press conference shows
an almost unanimously incredulous press pool, some even visibly angry
over the series of non-answers given to them by FBI officials. They
offered only one piece of physical evidence to the public: a flask
they said contained spores that they claimed Ivins used to grow a
colony of the “Ames strain” during his off-hours at Ft. Detrick.
But there was one major problem with their “smoking gun”
evidence.

The
National Academy of Sciences (NAS) was asked by the FBI to verify the
evidence but
concluded that
anthrax found in the flask could not be traced back to anthrax
contained in the letters. But instead of waiting for the NAS to
release these findings, Mueller allowed the FBI to pre-empt the NAS
with their own press conference. A 2011 report from the National
Research Council also
called the FBI’s findings into question.

Russiagate:
why the anthrax case matters

In
light of his poor handling of the anthrax case, one has to wonder:
why is the media now celebrating Mueller’s appointment as special
counsel for the Russia-Trump investigation? One doesn’t need to
look far to find multiple parallels between the false WMD claims made
by the Bush administration – which had their origins in the anthrax
scare – and the media’s current obsession with finding evidence
of Russian meddling in last year’s election. In both cases, the
media fixated on questionable evidence and the creation of an
artificial “bogeyman” to advance a deeper, more sinister agenda.

Both
the false WMD claims that led the U.S. into the Iraq War and the
ongoing Russia scaremongering campaign have relied on a vague
three-way connection between unrelated parties in order to shoehorn
in a larger national security and foreign policy scheme. Under Bush,
this was done by artificially connecting 9/11 to the anthrax attacks,
and then to Saddam Hussein, creating a climate of fear. That same
climate is being recreated now – only this time, the specter is
Russia.

Democrats
and their allies are using a similar psychological warfare campaign
to create a fictitious three-way connection between Trump, Russia and
WikiLeaks in the public consciousness during a time of emotional
trauma for Democratic voters. The larger theory posits that all three
parties were colluding with each other to take down Hillary Clinton —
even if no proof has been offered that Russia
was WikiLeaks’ source.

This
narrative has been bolstered by the use of weaponized mainstream
media terms like “fake news” and an increasingly prevalent
McCarthy-esque mindset among Clinton voters who are quick to accuse
their opponents of being Putin apologists. Even supporters of Bernie
Sanders, who was running on the Democratic ticket just as Clinton
was, have faced such accusations.

Americans
should not want a man who knew the Bush administration was trying to
create a fictional connection between Hussein, anthrax and 9/11 to
have the final verdict on another new three-way fiction: the
conspiratorial web being woven between WikiLeaks, Trump and Russia.

Opiaten doden in de VS jaarlijks 10 keer zoveel mensen, dan terroristen in de afgelopen 20 jaar..!!!

Anti-Media bracht afgelopen zondag een artikel van The Free Thought. Hierin aandacht voor het gebruik van opiaten in de VS en dan m.n. het gebruik van voorgeschreven pijnstillers……

Volgens de schrijver, Claire Bernish, overlijden dagelijks gemiddeld 91 VS burgers aan het gebruik van pijnstillers als OxyContin (oxycodone) en illegale drugs als heroïne. Maar al te vaak, stappen chronische pijnpatiënten over van OxyContin of Vicodin (hydrocodon) naar heroïne, daar ze niet voldoende pijnstilling vinden in de voorgeschreven medicatie. Overigens een fiks deel van die 91 dagelijkse doden, is te betreuren door de inname van een hogere, dan de voorgeschreven dosis, daar men ondanks de voortdurende pijn geen hogere dosis krijgt voorgeschreven door de arts.

Ook aandacht voor de illegale oorlog tegen Afghanistan, waar voor de inval van de VS nog amper papaver werd verbouwd, is de productie nu hoger dan ooit tevoren…….. Binnen 6 maanden na de VS inval, was de productie van opium van 185 ton gestegen naar 3.400 ton…….. Het schijnt zelfs voor te komen, dat VS militairen papavervelden bewaken voor bevriende ‘krijgsheren…………’ (zie de foto in het Free Thought artikel hieronder)

Wel wil ik aantekenen dat het aantal alcoholdoden in de VS, de 91 dagelijkse ‘opiumdoden’ ver moet overtreffen. In Nederland gaat het dagelijks om een gemiddelde van 12 alcoholdoden per dag, dit getal zou voor de VS op rond de 200 doden per dag moeten liggen…… Tja, de harddrug alcohol is nu eenmaal ‘sociaal geaccepteerd’, ook al maakt deze harddrug vergeleken met alle andere harddrugs opgeteld, verreweg de meeste dodelijke slachtoffers……….. (dit nog naast de andere directe en indirecte schade door overmatig alcoholgebruik, zoals kanker, verkeersdoden, mishandeling, scheiding enz.)

Lees en zie de hypocrisie van de VS en haar oorlog tegen drugs, die nog steeds doorgaat, ook al zei Obama er een streep onder te hebben gezet…….. Een oorlog waarin de VS overheid (zelfs de DEA) niet treuzelt om zelf beter te worden van bijvoorbeeld het heroïne of cocaïne gebruik in dit ‘land…..’ Zie wat dat laatste betreft o.a. de tweede (laatste) link in het artikel van Free Thought.

Eén ding is zeker, het jaarlijkse aantal doden door opiaten in de VS, ligt 10 keer hoger dan het aantal doden dat in 20 jaar tijd door terrorisme in de VS te betreuren was…. Let wel: voor die doden door terrorisme voerde en voert de VS illegaal oorlog in een fiks aantal landen, het aantal mensen dat daarbij werd vermoord, overtreft het cijfer met drugsdoden (ook die door alcohol) op een gigantische manier…… Zo heeft alleen de illegale oorlog van de VS tegen Irak tot nu toe al aan meer dan 1,5 miljoen Irakezen het leven gekost……..

So,
why, then, has a killer of tens of thousands each year still on the
loose inside those putatively impermeable borders? How could this
executioner, unmasked and identified, roam main streets of small
towns as comfortably as a seedy alley in some decrepit corner of an
urban metroplex — unhindered by the threat of detention or
arrest?

How
could this nefarious reaper sever the lives of ninety-one Americans
each and every day, yet — rather than earn a notorious status as
Enemy of the Public Number One — this killer is encouraged to
thrive, intentionally or not, by those supposedly the most trusted to
guard us from bodily harm?

Since
the attacks of 9/11, the United States has waged the pernicious War
on Terror — combating a concept most of its citizenry will never
encounter firsthand — nearly everywhere on the planet, even
toppling ostensively brutal but sovereign regimes in its name.

Yet,
Terror — its tactics used most often by disciples fighting in the
name of religion — has not been as efficacious in destroying
American lives as the opioid medications prescribed,
without irony, to kill their pain.

Since
1995, terrorists of varied stripe have killed 3,181
people in the U.S. — nearly 3,000 of them in the September 11
attacks, which sparked the nation’s unending war, alone.

That’s
a startling figure, indeed — particularly in a country known for
Orwellian surveillance and tracking of visitors and citizens, alike —
but terror’s death toll cannot be examined separately from known
killers more easily stopped.

In
2014, the span of a single year, an astounding 29,467
Americans died by
overdose of opioid-related drugs, including prescriptions — and the
following year saw more than 15,000 lose their lives to overdose on
opioid medications legally prescribed by medical personnel.

Unintentional
drug overdose is now the primary
cause of accidental death’
in the U.S. — and prescription opioid industry bears a significant
bulk of culpability in the problem.

Many
opiate addicts never sought the escape of a substance recreationally
— but were given prescriptions for medications like Vicodin
(hydrocodone) or even OxyContin (oxycodone) following surgery, a
serious injury, or as treatment for the chronic pain of another
illness.

What
might seem innocuous when written by a physician can quickly turn
malevolent — a single month of prescribed medication might not be
sufficient to fight the pain of a complex fracture or chronic
ailment. If the prescriber then refuses an extension of that opioid —
all-too frequently, under the benign premise of preventing dependence
— that patient might seek other means to procure the same relief.

Many
turn to heroin — highly illegal, but readily available from the
black market — and without the rigorous federal restrictions
guarding its legal opioid brethren. In fact, a large percentage of
heroin addicts began using after prescriptions for strong opioids
like OxyContin ran their course, leaving the patients suffering
without recourse.

Every
day, around
1,000 people are treated in hospital emergency rooms for misuse of
prescription opioids —
and in 2014, alone, roughly 2,000,000 abused or were dependent on
those opioid medications. One-quarter, given such a prescription on a
long but terminal basis, struggles with dependency.

Fifteen-thousand
people perished by overdosing on prescription opioid painkillers in
2015 — and the figures compiled
by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention grow
exponentially by the year. Even as the War on Terror rages on around
the globe.

Indeed,
veteran American troops have stumbled on that war’s undiscussed
elephant in the room while fighting the supposed terrorists we’re
made to believe threaten our security, overseas in Afghanistan —
the origin, by most reports, of the majority of the world’s
opium supply.

Standing guard
over fields of opium poppies isn’t
expressly stated in U.S. military recruitment brochures, yet troops
returning stateside report that media images showing them doing so
are entirely accurate.

prior to the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan some sixteen years ago —
in an irony of tragic shame to warhawk politicians and the
pharmaceutical industry — the Taliban had all-but eradicated the
opium poppy from the fertile lands under its control, evidenced by a
record-smashing low, 185-ton,
harvest.

Reversing
that became paramount priority — even before dust kicked up by the
boots of incoming soldiers had time to settle.

“Within
six months of the U.S. invasion,” wrote Matthieu
Aikins for the December 4, 2014, Rolling
Stone, “the
warlords we backed were running the opium trade, and the spring of
2002 saw a bumper harvest of 3,400 tons.”

To
call the revival a success would severely undercut the facts.
Production of Afghani opium doubled by
2014, and Afghanistan’s potent poppies — rumored to be rivaled in
quantity only by secreted
fields of the North Korean government —
soon dominated markets, comprising 90
percent of
the entire planet’s supply.

Opiates
fuel a crisis of dependence and addiction that — in tandem with a
dearth of treatment programs attainable by those with low incomes or
lacking insurance — has mushroomed into an epidemic, without
indication of diminishing soon.

Correlation
might not equal causation, but that span and gravity of that epidemic
run in lockstep with the astronomical rise in production of
Afghanistan’s opium — and both share a birthdate roughly
coinciding with the U.S. invasion.

Opiates
are profitable. Opioid prescription painkillers — doled out to
Americans for temporary relief of pain, four
times more often than
in 1999 — are Big Pharma’s bread and butter. Even when the health
of the millions stands in peril — an epidemic reaching across
class, gender, race, and income lines to perfect a stranglehold —
prescription opioids profit their manufacturers and distributors so
many billions, ethics can’t take priority.

Sadly,
and with tragic irony, the opioid crisis rekindled the flames of
another highly ineffective war — the war on drugs. This most
violent, futile, and rights-violating attack on Americans does
nothing to stop the problem and only serves to bolster the bottom
line of the prison industrial complex.

In
fact, the war on drugs has served its purpose in creating the very
crisis it ostensibly fights — a result known by all those who’ve
ever taken the time to study the
horrid effects of prohibition. 

It
must be understood, black-clad terrorists shouting, ‘Death to
America!’ might offer a captivating tidbit for nightly national
news. However, in actuality, these militants do not present so much
as a distant threat to anyone living in the confines of the United
States.

Rather,
the unscrupulous players in the pharmaceutical industry, motivated by
profit more than individuals’ long-term health — and their
lackeys in government, specialists in lax legislation tough in
language, only — whose decisions, given the chain of responsibility
in crises, can ultimately destroy countless families.

Our
government will wage this War on Terror, assumedly until the ‘threat’
of ‘terrorism’ decreases substantially. In the meantime, the
opium overseas, guarded by U.S. troops and tended by local farmers
both incentivized by and hawkishly watched by Taliban warlords, will
be to blame for the epidemic killing scores the terrorists otherwise
couldn’t.

De VS aanvallen met drones, onder president Obama verworden tot bijna dagelijkse praktijk, zijn onder, de korte tijd dat het beest Trump aan het bewind is, met 432% gestegen, zo berichtte Anti-Media gisteren.

Nobelprijs voor de Vrede winnaar Obama voerde al 10 keer meer drone aanvallen uit, dan onder president George W. Bush werden uitgevoerd, dezelfde Bush die e.e.a. introduceerde……..

Uit onderzoek is duidelijk geworden dat meer dan 90% van de slachtoffers die bij deze aanvallen worden vermoord, omstanders zijn, die niet eens verdacht worden door de VS!! U snapt het al, inclusief vrouwen en kinderen……. Dat ‘verdacht’ gaf ik in vet weer, daar de doelen nog altijd verdachten zijn, dus niet door een rechter veroordeelde personen……. Deze vorm van terreur wordt dan ook ‘standrechtelijke executie’ genoemd……….

Overigens uitermate vreemd en schandalig, dat politici als Koenders deze standrechtelijke executies, zoals gezegd een ernstige vorm van terreur, nooit veroordelen. Kijk als Rusland hetzelfde zou doen, waren Koenders rapen allang gaar geweest……..

U.S. Drone Strikes Have Gone Up 432% Since Trump Took Office

(ANTIMEDIA) When
he was in office, former President Barack Obama earned the ire of
anti-war activists for his expansion of Bush’s drone wars. The
Nobel Peace Prize-winning head of state ordered ten
times more drone strikes than
the previous president, and estimates late
in Obama’s presidency showed 49 out of 50 victims were civilians.
In 2015, it was reported that up to 90%
of drone casualties were
not the intended targets.

Current
President Donald Trump campaigned on a less interventionist foreign
policy, claiming to be opposed to nation-building and misguided
invasions. But less than two months into his presidency, Trump has
expanded the drone strikes that plagued Obama’s “peaceful”
presidency.

According
to an analysis from
Micah Zenko, an analyst with the Council on Foreign Relations, Trump
has markedly increased U.S. drone strikes since taking office. Zenko,
who reported earlier
this year on the over 26,000 bombs Obama dropped in 2016, summarized
the increase:

“During
President Obama’s two terms in office, he
approved 542 such
targeted strikes in 2,920 days—one every 5.4 days. From his
inauguration through today, President Trump had approved at least 36
drone strikes or raids in 45 days—one every 1.25 days.”

That’s
an increase of 432 percent.

He
highlights some of the attacks:

“These
include three
drone strikes in Yemen on January 20, 21, and 22;
the January
28 Navy SEAL raid in Yemen; one
reported strike in Pakistan on March 1; more
than thirty strikes in Yemen on
March 2 and 3; and at
least one more on March 6.”

The
Trump administration has provided little acknowledgment of the human
toll these strikes are taking. As journalist Glenn Greenwald noted in
the Intercept,
the Trump administration hastily brushed off recent civilian
casualties in favor of honoring the life of a single U.S. soldier who
died during one of the Yemen raids just days after Trump took office:

“The
raid in Yemen
that cost Owens his life also killed 30 other people, including ‘many
civilians,’ at least
nine of whom were children.
None of them were mentioned by Trump in last night’s speech, let
alone honored with applause and the presence of grieving relatives.
That’s because they were Yemenis, not Americans; therefore, their
deaths, and lives, must be ignored (the only exception was some
fleeting media mention of the 8-year-old daughter of Anwar al-Awlaki,
but only because she was a U.S. citizen and because of the irony
that Obama
killed her 16-year-old American brother with
a drone strike).”

Greenwald
notes this is typical of not just Trump, but the American war machine
in general:

“We
fixate on the Americans killed, learning their names and life stories
and the plight of their spouses and parents, but steadfastly ignore
the innocent people the U.S. government kills, whose numbers are
always far greater.”

Though
some Trump supporters sang his praises as a peace candidate before he
took office, the president’s militarism was apparent on many
occasions. He openly advocated increasing the size and scope of the
military, a promise he is now moving to keep. And as Zenko
highlights, Trump was disingenuous with his rhetoric against
interventionism:

“He
claimed to have opposed the 2003 Iraq War when he actually backed it,
and to have opposed the 2011 Libya intervention when he
actually strongly endorsed it,
including with U.S. ground troops. Yet, Trump and his loyalists
consistently implied that he would be less supportive of costly and
bloody foreign wars, especially when compared to President Obama, and
by extension, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.”

As
Trump continues to dig his heels into decades-old policies he has
criticized himself — reportedly mulling
over sending ground troops into Syria — he is increasingly proving
to be yet another establishment warmonger implementing policies
that spawn
the creation of more terrorists.
As Zenko concludes:

“We
are now on our third post-9/11 administration pursuing many of the
same policies that have failed to meaningfully reduce the number of
jihadist extremist fighters, or their attractiveness among potential
recruits or self-directed terrorists. The Global War on Terrorism
remains broadly unquestioned within Washington, no matter who is in
the White House.”

5 Signs We’re Headed Toward a Major War

(ANTIMEDIA) In
January of this year, former Soviet Union leader Mikhail
Gorbachev warned that
the whole world is preparing for war. There are many indicators that
back up Gorbachev’s assertion, but to discuss them in their
entirety would take a dissertation or two. Instead, we have put
together a list of the five most obvious signs of impending war
currently being overlooked by the media. As a result of these
oversights, the public is also missing them.

1.
Travel Ban

The
Trump administration’s travel ban, which targeted seven
majority-Muslim nations, makes little sense in the context of
fighting international terrorism. A Department of Homeland
Security report already
found no evidence of any extra threat posed by the nations on the
travel ban. 


Conversely, a Saudi official has admitted Saudi
Arabia’s longstanding practice of supporting terrorism as a
political tool, yet Saudi Arabia managed to escape the list. So did
Turkey, a country that has extensively
aided ISIS fighters;
Qatar, which has spent immense
amounts of
money arming fanatical jihadists; the United
Arab Emirates (where
the majority of the funding for the 9/11 attacks passed through), and
the list goes on.


Instead,
the travel ban was purely
political.
With help
from the anti-Trump media establishment,
the ban worked wonders separating the American public between those
who oppose Trump’s every move and those who support him
wholeheartedly in his quest to “make America great again.” But
little attention was paid to the reality of the ban.

Six
of the seven countries on Trump’s travel ban were featured in a
memo that was adopted shortly after 9/11 that detailed how the U.S.
was going to topple the governments of seven countries, as exposed by
four-star General Wesley Clark. The countries featured on Clark’s
list were Iraq, Libya, Lebanon, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Iran.

Any
accusations that Clark’s list is a conspiracy theory are completely
debunked by the events of the last two decades. Iraq was invaded in
2003, and the U.S. has been backing
warlords in
Somalia and bombing
the country for some time now.
The Pentagon is reportedly considering
expanding U.S.
involvement in the African nation. Israel was eager to take out
Lebanon in 2006 but failed to do so, though Israel warned just
last year that the next encounter with Lebanon will be “ferocious”
and “terrible.” U.S. troops are on the ground in Sudan.
Libya was destroyed in
2011, which paved
the way for the transfer of weapons and fighters into Syria,
a country bound to Iran by a mutual
defense agreement.


In
the context of Trump’s travel ban, Lebanon is replaced by Yemen,
the latest addition to the playbook amid fears that an insurgency
within Yemen could
place an Iranian-aligned government on Saudi Arabia’s border.

Including
Iran in the travel ban — despite the fact Iran is not currently
embroiled in a major civil conflict of its own, is not currently
bombing any other countries, and is one of the major
partners in the fight against ISIS —
demonstrates something more sinister at play than mere concerns
regarding international terrorism.

2.
Trump’s anti-Iran rhetoric

The
Obama administration, having successfully taken out Libya in 2011,
was tasked with finishing the job in Syria and toppling the Assad
regime. Overwhelming
support for
Syrian rebels battling the Syrian government was replaced
by urgent calls to intervene directly in 2013,
but Obama failed to gain international and public support for
airstrikes on the Syrian government. Russia diplomatically put its
hand up to offer a different proposal altogether, also warning that
“[they]
have [their] plans”
should the American military decide to strike Syria as Obama
intended. Any speculation that the real focus of the Syrian war was
aimed at Iran was proven to be not just mere conjecture; Obama
immediately thereafter warned Iran
that just because the U.S. did not attack Syria did not mean the U.S.
wouldn’t still strike Iran over its alleged nuclear program.

The
Russian military intervened overtly in Syria in 2015, which only
further foiled Washington’s plans for regime change in the country,
as admitted by former Secretary of State John Kerry in a leaked
audio recording.

As
such, the Trump administration has appeared to move the focus away
from Syria and directly back to Iran, in line George
W. Bush’s approach
when he was in office.

Trump
has assembled a
team that is “obsessed with Iran” and has accused Iran
of being the biggest state sponsor of terrorism. Theresa May, the
prime minister of the United Kingdom, also stated that
pushing back on “Iran’s
aggressive efforts” to
increase its “arc
of influence from Tehran through to the Mediterranean” was
a “priority.” Trump
was likely thrilled by these statements, as May
successfully secured 100
percent support for NATO from Trump the next day.

Following
an Iranian missile launch, the Trump administration officially
put “Iran
on notice.” The U.S. government wanted to make sure the
Iranians “understood
we are not going to sit by and not act on their actions.”

Just
this past month, Trump warned in a tweet that
Iran was “playing with fire,” and he vowed he would not be
anywhere near as “kind” as his predecessor was to Iran. This is
important because Trump has accused Iran of breaching its obligations
under the nuclear agreement, though the nuclear agreement does
not prohibit non-nuclear tests.

The
nuclear deal reached in 2015 was viewed as one of Obama’s greatest
diplomatic achievements, but in reality, it was doomed to fail right
from the start. In the same way Libya was coaxed out of rapidly
advancing its weapons programs before
being bombed back
into the Middle Ages in 2011, it may be the case that this diplomatic
approach to Iran was always a smokescreen to give the United States
more ‘reasoned’ leverage when attempting to convince the
international arena that a strike on Iran was justified.

As
outlined in the book “Which
Path to Persia? Options for a New American Strategy toward Iran”:

“For
those who favor regime change or a military attack on Iran (either by
the United States or Israel), there is a strong argument to be made
for trying this option first. Inciting regime change in Iran would be
greatly assisted by convincing the Iranian people that their
government is so ideologically blinkered that it refuses to do what
is best for the people and instead clings to a policy that could only
bring ruin on the country. The ideal scenario
in this case would be that the United States and the international
community present a package of positive inducements so enticing that
the Iranian citizenry would support the deal, only to have the regime
reject it. In a similar
vein, any military operation against Iran will likely be very
unpopular around the world and require the proper international
context – both to ensure the logistical support the operation would
require and to minimize the blowback from it. The
best way to minimize international opprobrium and maximize support
(however grudging or covert) is to strike only when there is a
widespread conviction that the Iranians were given but then rejected
a superb offer – one so good that only a regime determined to
acquire nuclear weapons and acquire them for the wrong reasons would
turn it down.” [emphasis
added]


By
claiming that through its missile tests Iran is violating a deal
that Trump
never supported to
begin with, he can lay the groundwork for an all-out confrontation
with Iran that could garner support from the international community,
as well as the misinformed American public.

3.
Iran dumps dollar

Currency
is a major driving factor behind the wars of our generation. Iraq
reportedly gave up
the U.S. dollar in 2000 for the euro and netted a “handsome profit”
for doing so. The U.S. military invaded in 2003 and
immediately switched oil sales in
Iraq from the euro back to the dollar. Iraq was also under heavy U.S.
sanctions that spanned
the course of at least a decade prior
to the invasion.

Comparatively,
in response to Trump’s anti-Iran rhetoric and the travel ban, Iran
officially dumped the
U.S. dollar. Iran has also been on the receiving
end of sanctions since
the Bush administration, and Trump has slapped fresh
sanctions on Iran over the missile tests.

In
the lead up to the 2003 invasion of Iraq, our television sets
were rife with
an unprecedented amount of disinformation regarding Iraq’s nuclear
program and the threat it posed to the world. Conversely, Israel
has been crying wolf over Iran’s nuclear program for
at least two decades, yet no actual evidence of an Iranian nuclear
weapons program has been produced.

The
Trump administration also accused Iran
of attacking a U.S. navy vessel – an attack that never took place.

Make
no mistake. The Trump administration is laying the groundwork for a
war with Iran by sowing the anti-Iranian seeds necessary to take the
American public into another dangerous war in the Middle East.

4.
Syria

While
Trump appeared at first to have heralded
a new approach to the Syrian conflict,
namely that Assad should be left alone and the real focus of American
foreign policy should be on defeating ISIS, the Trump administration
is stepping up its Syria operation behind the curtains. Trump is
reportedly planning to
send troops to Syria, and he is not the only external power doing so.
Iran’s regional arch-rival Saudi Arabia, which has incessantly
accused Tehran of backing rebels in neighboring Yemen without
producing any real evidence,
is also reportedly sending
troops into Syria.

Iranian-backed
regime troops will not look favorably on any foreign invading force,
particularly Saudi troops. Saudi Arabia has already made it clear
that it intends to liberate areas of Syria from ISIS and will be on
the ground to ensure that “liberated areas [do] not fall
under the control of Hizballah, Iran or the regime.”

How
far will they go to ensure this? Not to mention, how can one country
go into another and say that they want to ensure that the land does
not fall back into the hands of the people governing that country?

5.
Military drills and military alliances

The
United States and the United
Kingdom have
already begun military drills that simulate a potential conflict with
Iran. As reported by Russian-state owned news site RT,
Iran has staged a
“massive” military drill of its own, spanning 2 million square
kilometers.

This
preparation for war can be seen across the globe. Russia is
also holding
military drills as NATO
troops and tanks encroach upon
its border. Iran is seeking even closer military relations with
Russia and North
Korea.
The Baltic states that border Russia are running
drills,
too, supposedly out of fear that the Kremlin will invade. Russia’s
longstanding ally, China,
is also currently running drills for its own geostrategic
purposes.

Germany
is reportedly seeking to increase
its troop numbers to
200,000 troops even though such a move may put its neighbors on edge.
The Philippines, having decided to give the political middle finger
to the United States and instead forge closer relations with Russia
and China, welcomed
Russian warships to
its shores in January of this year.

Looking
at these military drills and alliances in the context of the above
developments paints a very grim picture for where humanity is headed.

War
with Iran: too unthinkable?

The
only rational criticism pundits have given
regarding Anti-Media’s previous
warnings of war is that because a war with Iran would be so
unthinkable, the Trump administration would never be so reckless as
to pursue it. Critics who hold such a view always neglect two very
important points: firstly, the United States under the Obama
administration was vehemently
opposed to the Assad regime in Syria.
The previous U.S. administration resorted
to directly targeting Syrian troops in
the middle of what was supposed to be a peace process, all with full
knowledge that the Assad regime is bound to Iran by a mutual defense
agreement. Secondly, America’s Middle Eastern power, Israel, has
also attacked Syria multiple
times since 2011,
targeting Iranian military personnel and their proxies.

Those
who think a war with Iran is unthinkable cannot answer the question:
what if Iran were to respond directly?

Think
of it like the current
to and fro between
Floyd Mayweather and UFC champion Conor McGregor. The two sides talk
tough and
attempt to provoke each other to set the mood for the current
conflict. Plenty of speculation occurs about whether one side is
bluffing and whether
or not the fight could possibly occur in the near future.
There is even the idea that such a fight would be so disastrous for
one of the sides (or both) that there is nothing to gain from
pursuing it.

But
all it takes is one wrong move; one reckless, cowardly, ill-advised
decision from either side and the entire Middle Eastern powder
keg could explode.

Trump
ordered a raid on Yemen that even war hawk Barack Obama disapproved
of because it was deemed too risky, and the raid
was an instant failure that
killed multiple civilians. This is the same president who turns down
dinners because he cannot face the torment of the liberal media and
instead forms
his opinions from Fox
News before
taking to Twitter.

It
is not unreasonable to expect the worst.

‘American Nuremberg’: VS politici en ambtenaren moeten worden berecht voor de door hen begane oorlogsmisdaden sinds 911

Ontving gisteren van Brasscheck TV een video, die handelt over het boek ‘American Nuremberg’. Het boek dat de VS en de internationale pers ‘links liet liggen….’ In haar boek neemt Rebecca Gordon alle maatregelen en oorlogsmisdaden door die terreurentiteit VS nam, na de aanvallen van 911 (11 september 2001), oorlogsmisdaden t/m illegale oorlogvoering………

Rebecca Gordon gaat eerst in op de Neurenberg processen na de oorlog, waar men aanvankelijk nog dacht, dat ook de oorlogsmisdaden van de geallieerden zouden worden berecht in Neurenberg. Naar wat we inmiddels al lang weten, is dit nooit gebeurd*, zelfs niet de enorme oorlogsmisdaden begaan met het afwerpen van twee atoombommen op respectievelijk Hiroshima en Nagasaki.

Het Internationaal Strafhof is een uitvloeisel van de Neurenberg processen, waar de VS onder G.W. Bush weigerde het verdrag daartoe te ratificeren, sterker nog zelfs een verbod uitsprak over het berechten van ook maar één VS burger door dit hof……..

De illegale oorlog van de VS tegen (Afghanistan en) Irak, is volgens Gordon te vergelijken met de invallen van de nazi’s in andere landen…. Juist die invallen werden destijds onder de Neurenberg processen als een enorme oorlogsmisdaad neergezet. Onder het verdrag van Genève werden dergelijke invallen, een aanval zonder aanleiding daartoe, als oorlogsmisdaad van de hoogste categorie bestempeld. Gordon betoogt dat Dick Cheney al bij zijn aantreden (en dus zelfs voorafgaand daaraan) de opzet had Irak aan te vallen, m.a.w. al voor de aanslagen van 911 wilde men Irak binnenvallen………

Wolfowitz, behorend tot de vriendenkring van G.W. Bush en Cheney, had al in de 90er jaren een doctrine voorgesteld, waarin de VS Irak en daarna Syrië zou aanvallen en bezetten…..

Een berechting van de G.W. Bush bende voor de vele gepleegde oorlogsmisdaden ziet Gordon niet gebeuren. Hoewel het geteisem daar wel bang voor is, G.W. Bush liet een paar jaar geleden een uitnodiging voor Zwitserland schieten, daar hij bang was aangehouden te worden vanwege die oorlogsmisdaden, een Zwitserse rechter zou e.e.a hebben onderzocht…… Gordon ziet dit echter wel als een mogelijkheid, afzonderlijke landen, die een verantwoordelijke VS diplomaat kunnen arresteren en deze onder eigen wetgeving berechten……. Een andere mogelijkheid is volgens Gordon een proces in de VS en dan op afgeleide gronden, zoals het verbod op martelen, dat in de VS wet is opgenomen……

Gordon pleit voor een tribunaal georganiseerd door bijvoorbeeld een universiteit in de VS, waar mensenrechtenorganisaties, rechtsgeleerden en anderen, zoals slachtoffers, of nabestaanden van slachtoffers gedocumenteerd de begane oorlogsmisdaden vastleggen en de verantwoordelijken daarvoor aanwijzen…….

Het Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) publiceerde een paar dagen geleden een nieuw rapport over de internationale wapenhandel. De wereldwijde handel in wapens is de afgelopen 5 jaar opgelopen tot een ‘record’, dat na het einde van de Koude Oorlog (1991) niet meer is gezien!

Dat was dan ook de bedoeling, nadat men de verkoop van wapens zag inzakken na het eind van die Koude Oorlog. Niet voor niets werden de aanvallen van 911 op o.a. de Twin Towers uitgevoerd. De geheime diensten van de VS, waarschijnlijk in samenwerking met de Israëlische Mossad, rekruteerden een aantal jihadstrijders in Saoedi-Arabië om de aanval in te zetten*. De springstoffen onder het WTC in New York (met o.a. de eerder genoemde Twin Towers), die werden geplaatst door aannemers van o.a. de CIA, maakten ‘de klus’ af……

Die aanval ‘was nodig’ voor de VS om de oorlog te kunnen verklaren aan het terrorisme en daarmee de weg vrij te maken voor niet alleen aanvallen op terroristen als Bin Laden, maar ook op landen als Afghanistan en Irak, illegale oorlogen die het militair-industrieel complex een fikse steun in de rug gaven………

SIPRI stelt nu dus, dat het beoogde doel bereikt is, althans voor nu, uiteraard moet de productie van wapentuig nog veel verder omhoog, hoe groot de kosten aan mensenlevens ook zijn……. ‘Mooie bijkomstigheid’ met die oorlog tegen terreur, lag de mogelijkheid open de mensenrechten uit te kleden, evenals het recht op privacy, wat dan ook is gebeurd…… Zodat de overheid in de (nabije) toekomst elk begin van een opstand in de kiem kan smoren en ongestraft het grootste deel van de bevolking het vel over de neus kan trekken….. Dit geldt niet alleen voor de VS overheid, maar ook voor de andere westerse regeringen.

Shahtahmasebi, schrijver van een artikel op ANTIMEDIA over het rapport van SIPRI, stelt dat met deze record verkopen van wapens een wereldoorlog op de loer ligt. Al moet ik zeggen, dat dit geen nieuws is, zie de opstelling van de VS onder Obama t.a.v. Rusland……. De VS was zelfs het eerste ‘land’, dat onder Obama stelde kernwapens niet meer als afschrikkingsmiddel en als uiterst verdedigingsmiddel te zien, maar als (eerste) aanvalswapen…… Daarna volgde de inhumane neoliberale feeks May, premier van Groot-Brittannië, koud na haar benoeming in juli vorig jaar, met eenzelfde uitspraak…… Al heeft Shahtahmasebi, net als de voormalige Russische president Gorbatsjov, groot gelijk, als zij stellen dat de wereld zich klaarmaakt voor Wereld Oorlog III……… (Overigens zegt Shahtahmasebi zelf ook, dat velen al langer waarschuwen voor een nieuwe Wereld Oorlog.)

De eerste VS poging om Rusland uit te lokken een oorlog te beginnen, middels de door de VS opgezette, gefinancierde en geregisseerde opstand in Oekraïne, is mislukt. Rusland had als reactie De Krim moeten annexeren, immers daar bevinden zich haar enige jaarrond ijsvrije marinehavens (m.a.w: Rusland kon het zich niet veroorloven, deze havens verloren te laten gaan….)…. Het door internationale waarnemers goedgekeurde referendum in De Krim, gooide roet in het eten….. Het referendum in De Krim tot aansluiting bij Rusland, waarbij het overgrote deel van de bewoners van De Krim (inclusief de oorspronkelijke bevolking) koos voor aansluiting…….

Al moet ik daar onmiddellijk aan toevoegen, dat het merendeel van de politici en de reguliere media in het westen, simpelweg de leugen volhouden, dat Rusland De Krim heeft geannexeerd, alsof de wil van de bevolking daar er niet toe doet……… Waarmee men eventueel alsnog een oorlog kan starten tegen Rusland, al zou dat de zoveelste illegale oorlog zijn, die het westen onder leiding van de VS, uitvoert op basis van leugens………

sales of major arms systems have risen over the past five years
to the highest volume since the end of the Cold War, according to
the Stockholm International Peace Institute’s (SIPRI) annual report
on arms sales.

SIPRI,
an international institute that researches “conflict,
armaments, arms control and disarmament,”
said on Monday that more weapons were delivered between 2012 and 2016
than any other five-year period since 1990. Between 2007–2011 and
2012–2016, arms imports by national governments in the Middle
East rose
by 86 percent.

As noted by
the Guardian:

“Saudi
Arabia, which leads a military intervention in Yemen that has costs
hundreds of civilian lives, was the world’s second largest importer
after India, increasing its intake by 212 %, mainly from the US and
the UK.”

However,
there are some issues with the Guardian’s
statement. First, according to
the U.N., well over 10,000 civilians have been killed, a staggering
difference when compared with the Guardian’s watered
down reference to “hundreds of civilians lives.” The vast
majority of these civilians have been killed directly by
the Saudi-led coalition. Second, the Saudi-led war can hardly be
called an intervention considering the brutal
and illegal nature of
the ongoing operation. The term “war of aggression” is more
appropriate.

As
a result of this cozy Saudi-U.S. relationship, Saudi arms imports
have tripled during the war in Yemen. The Obama administration sold
the oil-rich kingdom at least $115 billion worth of weapons,
as Anti-Media has
previously reported.

SIPRI’s
report concluded that Asia was the main recipient region in the
world. India was seen to have dwarfed its rivals, China and Pakistan,
by accounting for 13 percent of global imports. Most interesting,
however, is that India relies primarily on Russian imports as opposed
to NATO countries, further complicating alliances in the region.

Together,
the United States and Russia have supplied more than half of
all exports. Unsurprisingly, the United States continues to remain
the world’s biggest arms dealer.

Iran,
the country that has been vilified as the world’s biggest
sponsor of terrorism and
regional aggressor, received a mere 1.2 percent of the region’s
arms transfers. Conversely, arms imports into Qatar, alone, have
risen by 245 per cent.

As

about for some time now, including former
Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev: the whole world is preparing for

Zag toevallig in een film afgelopen weekeinde, dat de PATRIOT Act (wetsvoorstel H.R. 3162), door een meerderheid van het congres aangenomen op 26 oktober 2001, ‘een leuke bepaling’ heeft voor vluchtelingen die zonder papieren illegaal het land binnenkomen.

Deze mensen mogen zonder inmenging van de rechterlijke macht, voor onbepaalde tijd worden vastgezet……… Dat is nog eens wat anders dan illegaliteit strafbaar stellen, zoals ‘Nederland’ heeft besloten, iets dat op zich al te zot is voor woorden!!*

Moet u nagaan, bijna zonder uitzondering is het de VS die enorme vluchtelingenstromen op gang heeft gebracht en brengt, met de door deze grootste terreurentiteit op aarde begonnen illegale oorlogen en met door de VS opgezette, gefinancierde en geregisseerde opstanden en staatsgrepen!!!

Overigens is die PATRIOT Act het gevolg van 911, NB aanslagen, die ook door de VS zijn gefinancierd en geregisseerd, zoveel is intussen meer dan duidelijk!!

* Al moet ik eerlijk toegeven, dat het in Nederland onofficieel niet heel anders is. Zo kunnen mensen zonder papieren, die ten onrechte zijn uitgeprocedeerd (terwijl ze uit landen komen waar oorlog is, zoals gezegd, veelal door het westen begonnen), keer op keer worden opgepakt en voor een paar maanden worden vastgezet……

Van die ‘leuke berichten’ mensen, berichten die je hoort als je aan werk bent en je met één oor naar de radio luistert. De berichten gaan voor een groot deel verloren in je gehoorgangen, totdat je een woord opmerkt, dat meteen de hersens een por geeft.

Gisteren was dat het woord ‘hacken’: het kabinet wil het mogelijk maken dat politie en geheime diensten computers kunnen hacken………… U snapt dat daar een uiterst dringende zaak aan verbonden werd: pedofilie! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!

‘We’ raken niet uitgeluld over nepnieuws en dat daar paal en perk aan moet worden gesteld. Gelukkig zijn daardoor een aantal mensen wakker geworden, daar zij weten, dat m.n. de reguliere (grote) mediaorganen een hele berg leugens als nieuws brengen……

Bij velen gingen de ogen al eerder open, bijvoorbeeld na de 911 aanslagen, waarbij de officiële verklaringen voor het instorten van de Twin Towers en andere grote aanpalende gebouwen, totaal ongeloofwaardig zijn en door een heel leger echte deskundigen met verschillende specialiteiten, naar de prullenbak werden verwezen.

Voor veel anderen kwam dat moment, toen de VS in 2003, met gefabriceerde leugens, een (illegale) oorlog tegen het bewind van Hoessein in Irak begon….. Een illegale oorlog die intussen aan meer dan 1,5 miljoen mensen het leven heeft gekost………

Zelfs ‘VIPs’ als landelijke ‘journalisten’ van de diverse reguliere mediaorganen durven nu te zeggen, dat er best paal en perk mag worden gesteld aan publicaties op het internet, waarbij men ook nog eens de woorden ‘complottherapieën’* en ‘nepnieuws’ durft te gebruiken, zelfs als het over 911 gaat………..

U zal intussen begrepen hebben, dat de eerste ‘pedofielen’ die aangepakt gaan worden, linkse journalisten en critici van het huidige inhumane, ijskoude neoliberale systeem zijn, een systeem dat het grootste deel van de mensheid alleen maar enorme bergen ellende heeft bezorgd……..

Met de nieuwe wetgeving** kan de politie, AIVD, of MIVD ‘gewoon’, zonder enige verantwoording, uw computer vernielen, of continu uw bezigheden op het net zien, inclusief wat u schrijft, verder kan men u dan afluisteren en van alles op de hoogte blijven van wat betreft uw telefoon en internet gebruik, of de gesprekken die u voert……… Wat betreft uw reizen en boodschappen zijn deze diensten ook op de hoogte van uw handelen (overigens als het gaat om uw telefoon of het internet, hoefde u bij wijze van spreken maar een scheet te laten, of de geheime diensten bespioneerden u al via deze media….)

In Groot-Brittannië wil men de Snooper’s Charter*** aannemen, een wet waarmee de geheime diensten tot praktisch alles toegang krijgen, zonder ‘vervelende’ verzoeken te moeten indienen, de kabelaars daar zijn straks verantwoordelijk alle informatie van de gebruikers 12 maanden te bewaren………. Zo bezien gaat Nederland, met komende wetgeving dezelfde foute weg inslaan!!

Vanuit de geheime diensten stelt men telkens weer, dat e.e.a. nodig is tegen terrorisme, terwijl daar in de praktijk niet één bewijs voor is!! Het bewijs is volgens de geheime diensten, ook die in het buitenland, dat er al veel aanslagen zijn voorkomen, door de enorme inbreuk op de privacy van burgers, waar deze diensten dan aan toevoegen, dat ze niet kunnen vertellen welke aanslagen zijn voorkomen en wie daar bij betrokken waren, dit uit ‘veiligheidsoverwegingen….’ ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!

Als ‘t zo doorgaat en nog meer EU landen gaan geregeerd worden door fascisten als Wilders, hebben zij voor elkaar, wat Hitler wilde bereiken (al is het nu dan alleen op EU grondgebied)…….

Extends Global Reach of US Special Operations Death Squads

– “WSWS” (World Socialist Web Site) – In major actions reported only briefly by the establishment
press, President Obama has given vast new scope to the Pentagon’s
Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC), authorizing it to carry out
assassinations across the globe.

The
units of JSOC have long been employed by the chiefs of the six major
regional military commands, such as Centcom, which covers the Middle
East and Central Asia, to conduct counter-terrorism operations. One
such unit, Seal Team Six, carried out the assassination of Al Qaeda
leader Osama bin Laden in May 2011.

Obama
has approved a proposal to give JSOC independent authority to operate
outside the regional commands, essentially as a globalized
assassination force. JSOC units will bypass the regional commanders
and report directly to Special Operations Command (SOCOM) in the
Pentagon.

According
to the Washington
Post,
“The missions could occur well beyond the battlefields of places
like Iraq, Syria and Libya, where Joint Special Operations Command
(JSOC) has carried out clandestine operations in the past. When
finalized, it will elevate JSOC from being a highly-valued strike
tool used by regional military commands to leading a new multi-agency
intelligence and action force.”

The
mandate of the new formation, to be called the “Counter-External
Operations Task Force,” or Ex-Ops in Pentagon jargon, will embrace
the entire planet. This means US military death squads could be sent
to virtually any location, from European cities to South American
jungles, including the United States itself.


According
to the Post,
a reorganization making counter-terrorism an independent, global
command has been discussed in the Pentagon for 15 years, since the
9/11 terrorist attacks, but it was always rejected on the grounds
that it would cause friction with the regional commanders and create
duplication in command structures.

The
newspaper did not address the question of why now, a
decade-and-a-half later, the Obama administration has decided to
press forward with the new global counter-terrorism initiative. The
decision is likely, at least in part, a response to the debacle of
the US “war on terror” from the standpoint of the global aims of
American imperialism.

The
US wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and Syria and repeated drone
strikes in other countries, including Pakistan, Yemen and Somalia,
have inflicted catastrophic levels of death and destruction, but they
have not achieved the hoped-for hegemonic control of the region and
its vast energy resources. Obama’s decision represents a
determination to escalate US military violence in Central Asia, the
Middle East, North Africa and beyond.

Another
likely consideration is the possibility that the ongoing military
offensives against Islamic State territories in Syria and Iraq, and
particularly the siege of Mosul, could lead to thousands of ISIS
militants turning to terrorist attacks outside the Middle East.


Defense
Secretary Ashton Carter traveled to Paris last month with SOCOM
Commander Raymond Thomas for talks with security officials from
several European countries. A major topic was the impact on Europe of
a sudden weakening in the military position of ISIS in Iraq and
Syria. Carter told his European counterparts that JSOC “has been
put in the lead” of countering ISIS external operations, the first
mention of the impending Pentagon reorganization.

The Post report
sought to present the Obama-approved reorganization as an effort to
set limits on the operations of special forces under the incoming
Trump administration, including “approval by several agencies
before a drone strike and ‘near certainty’ that no civilians will
be killed guidelines.” But these restrictions are for cosmetic
purposes only and have not stopped the mass slaughter of civilians by
drone missile warfare.

Moreover,
Trump is not bound in any way by executive orders issued by Obama.
The fascistic president-elect has already made his intentions clear,
as far as US Special Forces operations are concerned. He has vowed to
order the killing of the wives and children of suspected ISIS
fighters, a war crime under the Geneva Conventions.

The
latest White House orders serve to facilitate these homicidal
intentions. Less than a month ago, Obama was campaigning against the
election of Trump, denouncing him as unfit to be commander-in-chief
and as a menace to the world. Now, as Foreign
Policymagazine
reported, Obama is “handing the incoming Trump team tools to wage
war that no president has held before.”

In
one particular theater of US counter-terrorism operations, Somalia,
Obama has taken additional action to escalate the carnage by
declaring the Islamist group al-Shabab to be part of the armed
conflict authorized by the US Congress in 2001 after the 9/11
attacks.

The
legal maneuver, reported Monday by the New
York Times,
demonstrates the infinitely expandable scope of the US-declared “war
on terror.” The Authorization for the Use of Military Force (AUMF),
passed by Congress on September 14, 2001, approved military action
against Al Qaeda and associated forces, including the Taliban regime
in Afghanistan.

The
2001 AUMF has been interpreted by the Bush and Obama administrations
as a blanket authorization for military action wherever the president
claims to find a connection to Al Qaeda, no matter how tenuous.
Al-Shabab was not founded until 2007, six years after the 9/11
attacks, in response to the US-backed invasion of Somalia by
Ethiopian troops. It has never conducted operations outside of East
Africa.

The Times noted
that the Somalia decision was one of a series of Obama actions
expanding the military’s authority, including broadening the scope
of air strikes in Afghanistan and approving air strikes against
Sirte, the Libyan city held by supporters of ISIS. More than 400 air
strikes followed, pounding into rubble a city already devastated by
five years of civil war following the 2011 US-NATO bombing campaign.

The
preparations to reinforce the pseudo-legal basis of the war in
Somalia no doubt began well before the election, when Obama expected
to hand off authority to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
But it has continued uninterrupted after Trump’s victory, and as
the Times reported,
it is “a move that will strengthen President-elect Donald J.
Trump’s authority to combat thousands of Islamist fighters in the
chaotic Horn of Africa nation.”

Earlier
this month, the British-based Guardian reported
that “Barack Obama will not tighten the rules governing US drone
strikes ahead of Donald Trump’s inauguration.” An Amnesty
International USA official, Naureen Shah, told the newspaper, “Obama
has normalized the idea that presidents get to have secret
large-scale killing programs at their disposal.”

These
events shed a new and sinister light over the reports of frequent
closed-door discussions between Obama and Trump during the three
weeks since the November 8 election. “They’ve been talking
regularly on any number of issues,” Trump campaign manager
Kellyanne Conway said on CNN’s “State of the Union” program
Sunday.

Obama
was at pains, in his first post-election statement, to dismiss the
bitter vituperation of the election campaign, declaring that the
electoral struggle between the Democrats and Republicans was merely
“an intramural scrimmage.” This is profoundly true: both parties
represent the same class, the American financial aristocracy, and its
global interests, defended in the final analysis by death and
destruction inflicted by the American military machine.
