Olympisch Comité VS waarschuwt atleten voor mensenrechtenprotest

Het Olympisch Comité in de VS heeft de atleten Gwenn Berry en Race Imboden een voorwaardelijke straf van een jaar opgelegd voor een protest dat ze lieten zien tijdens de Pan-Am Games. Berry balde haar vuist bij de medaille uitreiking en Imboden knielde in plaats van rechtop te staan……. Beide atleten protesteren daarmee tegen het desastreuze mensenrechtenbeleid van de Trump administratie en de nog steeds schunnige omgang met kleurlingen in de VS…….

Het corrupte Olympisch Comité wenst geen politieke uitingen, terwijl dit Comité schijt heeft aan mensenrechten en haar spelen overal houdt, ook in dictaturen, als er maar betaald wordt, zelfs als die betaling en organisatie ten koste gaat van het grootste (arme) deel van het volk in zo’n land….

Hoe durven de grofgraaiers van het Olympisch Comité de vuilbek nog open te trekken, zeker als het om leden in de VS gaat, wat het gekleurde deel van de bevolking daar wordt aangedaan is niet met een pen te beschrijven en dat anno 2019, i.p.v. 1919…..??

De topgraaier van het Olympisch Comité, Sarah Hirschland, die e.e.a. naar buiten bracht, had het gore lef te zeggen dat de atleten de volgende keer zwaar zullen worden gestraft, tevens liet ze weten dat dit een waarschuwing is voor alle atleten in de VS…….. Hoe durft de trut, zonder de VS ook maar één keer in haar leven te hebben aangesproken op de walgelijke omgang met kleurlingen, of dat nu wel of niet om atleten gaat……….

Je kan zonder meer stellen dat het organiseren van de spelen in landen waar men schijt heeft aan mensenrechten, hetzelfde is als reclame maken voor zo’n land en voor de machthebbers in dat land……..

Laten we hopen dat de Spelen zo duur worden dat niemand nog van zins is deze naar haar/zijn land te halen, het Olympisch Comité is wat dat betreft op de goede weg!!

Nike begint reclame campagne met Colin Kaepernick, de ‘American’ football speler die knielde tijdens het volkslied

Colin
Kaepernick, de ‘American’ football speler, werd uitgekotst nadat hij
volkomen terecht uit protest tegen het grote aantal moorden door de
politie in de VS op gekleurde VS burgers*, knielde tijdens het
volkslied i.p.v. te staan met de hand op het hart. (ha! ha! ha! ha!) Gekleurde burgers die jaarlijks (veelal) zonder enige reden worden doodgeschoten door de politie…… E.e.a. ingegeven door de Black Lives Matter (BLM) beweging, die zich het lot van de zwarte bevolking in de VS aantrekt.

Staan met de hand op het hart voor het belachelijke
volkslied van de VS, onderdeel van ceremonies die een genocide op de oorspronkelijke bewoners
moet verdoezelen en er bij de kinderen al instampt dat de VS het door god gegeven land (aan de import burgers) is………

Vanmorgen
bracht BNR dit nieuws, waarin o.a. werd gemeld dat hysterische
nationalistische burgers op grote schaal hun Nike schoenen hebben
verbrand (de kwalificaties zijn van mijn hand, zoals je waarschijnlijk al had begrepen)…… Ofwel een fiks deel van de VS bevolking maakt zich net
als de president, het beest Trump, druk om het knielen voor het
volkslied**, terwijl ze zich niet eens druk maken over de jaarlijkse
massamoord op hun gekleurde medeburgers……..

Kaepernick
stond al lang onder contract bij Nike, al deed Nike daar na alle
consternatie niets mee, Kaepernick werd overigens gewoon doorbetaald door het bedrijf. Wel heeft het
bedrijf laten weten het recht van vrijheid op meningsuiting te respecteren,
daarmee gaf het bedrijf in feite aan dat het achter Kaepernick en
zijn collega’s die zijn voorbeeld volgden staat.

Het is
dan ook een geweldige stap van Nike om nu een reclame campagne te
starten met Kaeperick ‘in de hoofdrol.’

Colin
Kaepernick, the former N.F.L. quarterback who inspired a player
protest movement but who has been out of a job for more than a year,
has signed a new, multiyear deal with Nike that makes him a face of
the 30th anniversary of the sports apparel company’s “Just Do It”
campaign, Nike confirmed on Monday.

The
first advertisement from Nike, one of the league’s top partners,
debuted Monday afternoon, when Kaepernick tweeted
it,
assuring that his activism and the protest movement against racism
and social injustice he started would continue to loom over one of
the country’s most powerful sports leagues.

Nike
will produce new Kaepernick apparel, including a shoe and a T-shirt,
and if the merchandise sells well, the value of the deal will rival
those of other top N.F.L. players, according to people close to the
negotiations who spoke on condition of anonymity because Nike had not
formally announced it. Nike will also donate money to
Kaepernick’s “Know
Your Rights” campaign.

The
N.F.L. did not immediately respond to requests for comment. The ad
and the campaign, coming a few days before the start of the N.F.L.
season on Thursday, is likely to annoy the league’s top executives
and its owners. On Thursday, Kaepernick won a victory in his
grievance against the league when an arbitrator let his case, in
which he accuses the league of conspiring to keep him off the field
because of his activism, advance.

A
wave of on-field protests has continued, with varying degrees of
intensity, since summer 2016, when Kaepernick began kneeling during
the playing of the national anthem.

The
N.F.L. has struggled to contain the on-field protests, which have
also included raised fists and other gestures, which league officials
have blamed for dragging down the league. Television ratings have
declined and certain segments of the fan base have reacted angrily.
President Trump has made the N.F.L. a target for not firing players
who refuse to stand for the national anthem.

The
Kaepernick deal could be awkward for the league.

In
March, Nike and the N.F.L. announced an extension of an apparel deal
through 2028. As part of that deal, Nike supplies 32 teams with
game-day uniforms and sideline apparel that features the company’s
swoosh logo. When that deal was announced, Brian Rolapp, the NFL’s
chief media and business officer, called the company “a longtime
and trusted partner” of the league.

Kaepernick
and Nike already had an endorsement deal, dating to when he entered
the league in 2011, but it was expiring soon and has now been
extended.

The
new Kaepernick ad features a close-up, black-and-white photograph of
his face, with copy that references his kneeling and his belief that
his activism is keeping him out of the league.

The
ad reads: “Believe in something. Even if it means sacrificing
everything.”

When
asked if Nike had run the campaign by the N.F.L., a spokeswoman,
Sandra Carreon-John, responded: “Nike has a longstanding
relationship with the N.F.L. and works extensively with the league on
all campaigns that use current N.F.L. players and its marks. Colin is
not currently employed by an N.F.L. team and has no contractual
obligation to the N.F.L.”

The
new contract was negotiated by Kaepernick’s lawyers, Mark Geragos
and Ben Meiselas, and Nike executives.

Even
as the N.F.L. season approaches, the Kaepernick story has continued
to dominate the N.F.L. narrative. On Friday, Kaepernick received an
ovation from the crowd at the United States Open match between Serena
Williams and Venus Williams.

Serena
Williams, LeBron James, Odell Beckham Jr., Shaquem Griffin and Lacey
Baker are also part of the “Just Do It” anniversary campaign.

Nike’s
decision to make new Kaepernick merchandise and to make him the face
of a campaign could, if they are successful for the company, undercut
the argument from N.F.L. owners that he is bad for business.
Previously, Nike stated that
it “supports athletes and their right to freedom of expression on
issues that are of great importance to our society,” but the
company had not used Kaepernick in any recent ad campaigns.

There
is reason to believe that Kaepernick, despite not playing, will move
merchandise. During the second quarter of 2017, his officially
licensed jersey was the 39th-best
selling in the league.
As an unsigned free agent, he was the only player in the top 50 of
those rankings not signed to a team.

With
Kaepernick seemingly having little chance of playing in the N.F.L.
again, Geragos was eager to try to portray him as something more than
a football player.

“I
give Nike credit for understanding that he’s not just an athlete,
he has become an icon,” Geragos said.

christenen maar al te goed en vreemd genoeg is het overgrote deel van
de hysterische bevolking, die pissig is op Kaepernick, van het

Ongelofelijk maar waar: afgelopen zondag werd de Super Bowl gespeeld in Philadelphia. Na afloop was het één grote chaos en rellen geblazen, waar overigens op de Nederlandse radio (Radio1 en BNR) niet over werd gerept de daaropvolgende maandagmorgen, nee daar kregen de (smakeloze) reclames in de pauzes van de Super Bowl de meeste aandacht……

In de VS was het nog gekker, daar sprak men bagatelliserend over de grote vernielingen die werden aangericht na de wedstrijd, vernielingen aangericht door de supporters van de winnende club….. CNN sprak over pure poëzie op de politiescanner……..

Als er weer een gekleurde onterecht wordt doodgeschoten door de politie in de VS (dat is altijd onterecht, ‘maar goed….’) en de gekleurde VS bewoners gaan de straat op, durft men zelfs van terreur te spreken als deze demonstranten een weg of een kruispunt blokkeren….. Voor dat laatste is in een paar staten al wetgeving aangenomen, die automobilisten vrijwaart van strafvervolging als ze op dat moment iemand doodrijden………

Het is als met de schietpartijen in de VS waarbij veel mensen worden verwond of vermoord (iets dat met een paar slachtoffers bijna dagelijks gebeurt), je keer op keer te horen krijgt dat het niet om terrorisme gaat……. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Uiteraard is het vermoorden van mensen de ultieme vorm van terreur!!

Acht jaar Obama hebben totaal geen verbetering gebracht voor de gekleurden in de VS, zij behoren nog steeds tot een minderheid waarvan men vindt dat die wel uitgedund mag worden middels moord of gevangenneming…..

We’ve
all seen those comments
when all-too-familiar fatal police shootings in America trigger
protests that lead to riots. “Those
Black Lives Matter thugs are destroying their own neighborhoods,”
people
shout on social media. “BLM
ARE TERRORISTS!”

“Black
on black crime” suddenly becomes a topic of expertise for Facebook
commentators. Never mind the epidemic of police killing over
a thousand Americans
every year, with black males facing
the highest per-capita
execution-by-police rates of any group.

Media
commentators are quick
to condemn the
riots as misplaced anger that simply destroys the rioters’ own
communities. Focus shifts away from the peaceful protests against
police killings, instead devoting a bulk of their coverage on the
merits (or lack thereof) of rioting, watering down what
causes them.
The media fails to make any mention of the fact that many political
riots begin as regular protests and become
riots after heavy-handed police tactics provoke a
response from the attendees.

If
you’re fighting for your right to not be killed by the government,
riots are apparently an act of terror, according
to many Americans.
Fighting for your freedom, these commentators often say, are cowardly
acts of vandalism and looting, punishable by the utmost severity.
Blocking a street is punishable by death, some Facebook commenters
say.
Many politicians agree with that sentiment, and running over
protesters may soon
be legal in
some states.

But
when Americans riot over sports games, which is actually much more
common than
anti-police brutality rioting, those same commentators are nowhere to
be found.

“Somehow,
it seems there’s a line drawn in the sand where destruction of
property because of a sports victory is OK and acceptable in America.
However, if you have people who are fighting for their most basic
human right, the right to live, they will be condemned,” Black
Lives Matter New York President Hawk Newsome told Newsweek. “You
can riot if you’re white and your team wins, but if you’re black
and being killed, you can’t speak out… I wish they wouldn’t
riot, but I can’t condemn them and neither can anyone else,
especially not the media, especially not politicians when they
condone people who are just drunk and destroying property because
their team won.

All
too often, sporting events cause riots, but they are met with
different coverage by the media, and the outrage against rioting on
social media seems to be missing in action. Sports riots are simply
alcohol-fueled celebrations that became rowdy. It’s just boys being
boys. It’s just happy people showing their joy.

On
Sunday, a local ABC affiliate described the rioting
as “rowdy” “celebrations” as a car was flipped over.

Keeping
with this theme, Fox
News’ coverage of
the Philadelphia Eagles riot was not critical at all. “Flipping
a car and celebrating in the streets. That’s some way to celebrate,
huh?” the Fox anchor
said.

CNN’s
top story on the Philadelphia riot called the chaos an act of “pure
poetry.”

“As
was expected, the city of Philadelphia reacted to their well-earned
Super Bowl win with brotherly grace and aplomb,” CNN reported this
morning. “LOL,
you see it’s a funny joke because frankly it’s a miracle that
place is still standing.”

Is
it possible that Americans and the mainstream media don’t actually
oppose rioting as a principle, but rather, grant their approval based
on who is rioting and for what reason? It certainly appears that way.

As
if to highlight my point, the arrest counts are in from the Super
Bowl. In Minneapolis, 17 Black Lives Matter activists were
arrested for
peacefully protesting the big game. In Philadelphia, three
peoplewere
arrested after lighting the city on fire.

The
message is clear: Don’t stand up for your rights because if you’re
black and protest in a way we disagree with (or
protest at all),
you’re a traitor who should be run over in the street. But if you
light your city on fire after winning the Super Bowl, it’s all just
innocent fun, right? There’s no other way to say this: The
hypocrisy over the Super Bowl riot — from the media and the
public in general — is fucking outrageous.

Wat een hysterie in de VS over de gekleurde footballspelers die knielen als het volkslied wordt afgespeeld, i.p.v. rechtop te staan, met de hand op het hart. Die spelers doen dit uit protest tegen de enorme aantallen gekleurden die jaarlijks worden vermoord door de politie……

Rechtop met de hand op het hart >> -uit eerbied voor het stelen van het land behorend aan de inheemse bevolking (‘indianen’), middels één van de grootste genocides, die de menselijke geschiedenis kent, -uit eerbied voor de ‘gevallen’ psychopaten, die uit naam van de VS in illegale oorlogen martelden, verkrachtten en moordden (en hun huidige collega’s die hetzelfde blijven doen…), -uit eerbetoon voor het uitknijpen van de grote onderlaag in dat gestolen land en inderdaad: -uit eerbetoon aan de politie psychopaten die gekleurden liever vermoorden dan hen te laten gaan, nadat men deze mensen staande heeft gehouden, puur en alleen omdat deze mensen gekleurd zijn…………

In spreek over ‘footballspelers’, daar dit niet hetzelfde is als wat men hier onder voetbal verstaat (en ja, heb de pest aan beide suffe sporten).
