De Giro d’Italia gaat volgend jaar in Jeruzalem van start met een tijdrit…… Dit was op 8 augustus jl. nog een gerucht en werd op die dag even ‘deskundig’ herkauwd in het ‘onafhankelijke’ NOS-Radio1-Journaal (na 7.30 u.), door zo ongeveer de grootste Radio1 sufferd in tijden, Jurgen van den Berg in gesprek met fanatiek zionist en godbetert correspondent voor de NOS in Israël, Ankie Rechess.
Ik stemde gelukkig wat later af en hoorde Rechess laatste woorden (ik word tegenwoordig onpasselijk als ik de trut hoor bij de ‘onafhankelijke’ NOS). Van den Berg herkauwde de zaak daarna verder met een oud-wielrenner en sportcommentator.
Met veel gelach sprak men over de start van de Giro in Jeruzalem, alsof daar verder niets aan de hand is en het fascistische apartheidsbewind Netanyahu niet bestaat……..
Van den Berg stelde grinnikend dat de start van de Giro d’Italia in Jeruzalem een ‘mooie promotie’ is voor Israël……….
Ja geweldig hè van den Berg, de start van de Giro in een land waar de oorspronkelijke bevolking werd verjaagd (middels excessief geweld zoals moord)…… De Palestijnen zijn willens en wetens teruggebracht tot een minderheid, bovendien maakt Israël de Palestijnen het leven onmogelijk in de openluchtgevangenis Gazastrook (en de West Bank, dat intussen aan de dezelfde kwalificatie van openluchtgevangenis voldoet..)…. Palestijnse boeren wordt de toegang tot hun land onmogelijk gemaakt, zodat ze hun land en boomgaarden niet meer kunnen onderhouden…….
Israël heeft sinds de oprichting van de staat Israël een enorm aantal oorlogsmisdaden begaan, met vele doden tot gevolg (bij de laatste opstand in de Gazastrook kwamen maar liefst meer dan 500 kinderen om het leven, ofwel: werden vermoord door de staat Israël……)….. Voorts heeft Israël, zoals gezegd: -een enorm aantal Palestijnen het land uitgejaagd hun moeder/vaderland waar zij al honderden jaren woonden, -Palestijnse dorpen platgebrand en ga maar door……..
Dezelfde apartheidsstaat Israël die Palestijnen heeft gereduceerd tot 3de klas burgers, die nergens recht op hebben en na vakantie of studie in het buitenland regelmatig het land niet meer in mogen…… Dezelfde apartheidsstaat die Palestijnse kinderen zonder proces opsluit, omdat ze met stenen hebben gegooid, of daarvan worden verdacht………..

Whitney Webb publiceerde op 25 augustus jl. een artikel op MintPress News, een bericht over het nieuwe censuur beleid van Google, Facebook, Yahoo, Microsoft en Twitter.
Webb geeft in het artikel de alternatieven waarmee je de censoren en geheime onderzoekers (geheime diensten) van de overheid en het bedrijfsleven kan omzeilen, zo kan u uw eigen ‘Virtual Private Network’ (VPN) opzetten, waarmee u zelfs uw IP-adres geheim kan houden.
Google heeft de laatste maanden diverse onafhankelijke mediaorganen geblokkeerd, die niet het algemene westerse politieke (neoliberale) beleid volgen en zich verzetten tegen de enorme berg leugens in de reguliere westerse massamedia……… Google en anderen doen dit in de strijd tegen ‘fake news’, waarbij men voor het gemak even vergeet dat vooral diezelfde massamedia verantwoordelijk zijn voor het brengen van nepnieuws, ofwel ‘fake news……….’ Anders gezegd: Google verzet zich tegen ‘fake news’, door juist de alternatieve media te blokkeren, die ditzelfde ‘fake news’ dag in dag uit aan de paal nagelen!!

Your
Guide to Avoiding Internet Censorship of Independent News Journalism
There
are lots of good strategies for beating both corporate and government
Internet censors and snoops. These range from alternatives to Google,
Yahoo, Microsoft, Facebook and Twitter — to direct subscriptions to
authors and pubs — to setting up your own VPN. All are worth the
effort.
(MPN) — While Google’s
Information Age dominancehas
long been recognized to have some unsavory consequences, the massive
technology corporation has, in recent months, taken to directly
censoring content and traffic to a variety of independent media
outlets across the political spectrum — essentially muting the
voices of any site or author who does not toe the establishment line.
This
new offensive has coincided with Google efforts to clamp down on
“fake news” and “extremist” content, which – on its
subsidiary, YouTube – led to the
categorical blocking of
videos portraying war crimes and other disturbing events of the
Syrian conflict and Israel’s occupation of Palestine. Other
independent media figures, such as Luke
Rudowski and Carey Wedler,
on the popular video streaming service, saw many
of their videos demonetized.
Though
the crackdown on YouTube was more obvious, the Google search engine –
the most popular in the world – is now burying or blocking
independent media sites from its search results.
Conservatives have
long claimed that
Google was selectively targeting their content due to the personal
political bias of the company’s executives — but now, since
Google announced its new guidelines, numerous progressive,
transparency, and anti-war websites that act as watchdogs to the
establishment have seen their traffic diminish substantially.
Counterpunch,
World Socialist Website, MintPress News, Democracy Now, American
Civil Liberties Union and Wikileaks are just
a handful of
the sites that have seen massive drops in their returns from Google
searches. The World Socialist Website alone experienced a 67 percent
decrease in returns from Google following the implementation of
Google’s new algorithm targeting so-called “fake news.”
MintPress News, however, has suffered the steepest decline, having
seen a 76 percent decrease in traffic from Google since the new
algorithm was put into effect.
Google
has its reasons for choosing to censor viewpoints that clash with or
even raise questions about the official narrative. Google shares deep
connections with the U.S.’ political powerbrokers, notably with the
CIA, which originally
helped fund Google
into existence with the intention of controlling the flow of
information.
Understandably
— in light of its deep connections to those who stand the most to
lose from the actual free flow of information — Google has emerged
as a leader of the “fight” against so-called “fake news.” The
concept of “fake news” took on sudden weight following last
November’s U.S. presidential election: in the tweets and rants of
newly-elected President Donald Trump, media predictions of a Clinton
victory were ridiculed as “FAKE NEWS,” while Clinton supporters
also wound up blaming “fake news” for Clinton’s loss in the
election.
In
short order, the term became a term of derision and dismissal applied
to any and all disagreeable reporting. With the “fake news” net
cast so wide, the ground was fertile for a campaign against the
official story-challenging work of independent media — dependent
for its reach, to a far greater extent than its mainstream media
counterparts, upon the good graces of monster Internet traffic cops
such as Google.
The
following guide offers a variety of solutions and options for those
concerned with Google’s overreach and its decision to become the
Internet’s unelected “Ministry of Truth.”
Dumping
Google Search
Dominating over
80% of
global searches made on the Internet, Google’s chokehold on the
flow of information is undeniable. Now that its algorithm has been
shown to target news sites critical of the establishment on both
sides of the aisle, finding an alternative becomes an essential task
irrespective of one’s political leaning.
However,
don’t expect other brand name search engines like Microsoft’s
Bing or Yahoo to come to the rescue, as these too have
been caught censoring
search results in the past. Microsoft, in particular, is very
untrustworthy, given its eager
participation in
the NSA’s PRISM surveillance program — where it illegally shared
the Internet user data, including search queries, of U.S. citizens
without their knowledge.
Given
its willingness to cooperate with the government against the interest
of American citizens, Microsoft would be perhaps more willing even
than Google to censor access to so-called “fake news.”
Yahoo
is little better, as it too was an early adopter of the PRISM
surveillance program, second only to Microsoft. Like Microsoft,
they willingly
cooperate with
government censorship efforts – as well as the outing
of dissidents –
in other countries.
Thankfully,
as far as search engines go, there are other options available that
not only respect your privacy but also offer fairer searches,
including some features that even Google doesn’t offer.
DuckDuckGo
Of
all the viable Google alternatives, DuckDuckGo is
the most well-known, having been promoted by PCMag.com, the Guardian,
and The New York Times as a “long-term” threat to Google’s
search dominance. It was even one of the top 50 sites of 2011,
according to Time magazine.
However,
the “mainstream” accolades are, in this case, well-deserved.
DuckDuckGo is best known for its motto “the
search engine that doesn’t track you,” complete with Tor
browser functionality. While
this is a clear boon for privacy enthusiasts – or anyone concerned
about illegal NSA spying – it also results in search results that
are not filtered based on your search history. In other words, users
are more likely to be presented with search results that challenge
their existing ideas.
DuckDuckGo
also boasts an
impressive search algorithm that
excludes Google results but includes results from other well-known
search engines, mixed with the data obtained by DuckDuckGo’s
own web
crawler bot.
The results are filtered for spam and re-ordered using its trademark
“Instant Answers” platform, which places high-quality answers
above other results and advertisements. The “Instant Answers”
platform gathers answers provided by top popular websites, like
Wikipedia, in addition to community-built answers.
For
those tech-savvy users who don’t trust the spam filtering or even
the “Instant Answer” platform, these functions — as well as
DuckDuckGo itself — is open-source and also offers DuckDuckHack,
where users can create their own plug-ins for use in DuckDuckGo and
even help improve the search engine overall.
For
less savvy tech users, DuckDuckGo conveniently functions like any
other search engine, in addition to providing several features even
Google doesn’t offer. It
also has a search app for both iPhone and Android, as well as
plug-ins for Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox, and offers support in
several languages.
Ixquick/StartPage
Ixquick is
an American/Dutch meta-search engine, meaning itsimultaneously
searches multiple
databases and other search engines,
including Google, across the Internet. It uses a “star system” to
rank search results, placing a star next to each result for every
search engine that ranks that result as one of its 10 best for a
given search. A five-star result, for example, means that five search
engines considered that result to be among the 10 most relevant.
Ixquick
— which has now merged with its subsidiary, StartPage — also
tackles the issue of privacy by not storing user-specific details
such as cookies or past search results. Like DuckDuckGo, Ixquick
offers unfiltered search results generated by Google’s
“personalized” searches. Privacy enthusiasts may recognize
Ixquick as the default search engine for the Tor browser.
Ixquick
is supported in 17 languages and offers a plug-in for Mozilla
Firefox. They also offer a privacy-minded, encrypted email server
called StartMail.
Gibiru
Gibiru,
like the aforementioned search engines, prides itself on offering
maximum privacy. It avoids tracking its users by providing anonymous
and encrypted searches. It describes itself as “the preferred
Search Engine for Patriots” and offers non-personalized, anonymous
web results while emphasizing the disdain of its developers for the
NSA. Part of what sets Gibiru apart is its claim to offer
“uncensored” searches, as their web crawlers intentionally
include pages that Google has blocked or buried in its search
results.
Gibiru
also has a unique feature called “Uncensored News.” In addition
to aggregating results from other search engines, Gibiru adds its own
algorithm that specifically looks for results from independent media
outlets, particularly those that tend to “promote ‘alternative’
views from the mainstream.”
Recognizing
that mainstream media results are picked up by Google and Bing,
Gibiru does not use its bandwidth searching through these results.
Even up-and-coming independent media sites can gain inclusion in
Uncensored News results by communicating with the Gibiru team.
Gibiru
offers both a toolbar and a plugin for Mozilla Firefox.
Subscribe
directly to your favorite pages
Though
the above search engines can assist in more accurate and less
censored internet searches, the best way to get news you trust is
directly from the source. Anyone who reads independent media
eventually develops preferences for certain sites and authors whose
content they consistently find reliable and interesting.
If
you are concerned with Google’s clampdown on independent media, the
most surefire way to ensure your access to the sites you enjoy is by
subscribing directly to them via email. Most independent media pages
offer you the option to subscribe to their mailing lists, where you
receive their top stories on a daily basis. Some pages charge for
subscriptions, but most – such as MintPress
News’ Daily Digest –
are free and allow you to unsubscribe at any time. Some websites,
including MintPress, also
offer apps for
Android or iPhone, which allow users direct and convenient access to
the content of those pages.
If
you are concerned that all of the newsletters and stories of the
pages you want to follow will clutter your email, there are several
good options. Some mail servers allow you to label certain types of
incoming mail, and creating a specific label for “news” can
streamline the process of following all of your favorite pages in one
place. Alternatively, you can create an email account dedicated to
news in order to keep it separate from email accounts more focused on
work or socializing.
In
some cases, however, your favorite writers may not regularly publish
in the same place, making their work difficult to follow via email
subscription. Many authors have either their own web pages dedicated
to their work or publish on websites such as Medium —
a site offering both free and premium membership options, that hosts
the writings of many big names in independent news from across the
political spectrum.
Signing
up for Medium allows you to follow any writer you like, even
mainstream ones – a boon, for instance, if you like a certain
writer at, say, The Wall Street Journal but don’t trust the paper
as a whole. Certain popular writers in independent media — such
Nafeez Ahmed’s Insurge
Intelligence —
even publish some of their biggest stories exclusively on Medium.

Facebook’s moderation system, which combines an automated flagging system with limited human oversight, has consistently drawn criticism, once banning a satirical account which criticized U.S. military spending.(AP/Czarek Sokolowski)
Though
some may value their Facebook account for keeping in touch with
friends and family, the social media giant is quickly becoming
unreliable for receiving news content posted by your friends as well
as the people or pages you follow. Facebook and Twitter have each
been caught censoring on several occasions and both now openly patrol
for “fake news” and “hate speech” — burying stories that
users would otherwise see, based on the recommendations of Facebook
or Twitter-approved flaggers. Many of these flaggers have been found
to publish “fake news” themselves or have a strong bias against
particular viewpoints, particularly those critical of conservative
politics.
Just
as with Google, Facebook and Twitter users can no longer be sure that
their newsfeeds contain the news they want to read, just as content
creators and publishers can no longer expect the same scope and reach
they once enjoyed on social media.
Unfortunately,
the alternatives to Facebook and Twitter are few and lack the large
user communities that make a social network successful. However,
there are two notable sites that are attempting to change that.
One
of those sites is Steemit. Steemit is
a social media platform that runs a blogging and social network
website built on top of a blockchain database. Steemit now boasts a
decently sized community, though it hardly compares to Facebook in
terms of daily users. Part of its success has been due to the site’s
commitment to paying users for creating and curating popular content
on the site.
Per the site’s system, users receive digital points (“Steem”)
depending on the success of their posts, which they can exchange for
more tangible rewards or payment via online exchanges. With $1 of
Steem now
worth just
over $4 USD, some people have found using Steemit to be both socially
and economically beneficial.
Another
potential Facebook competitor is Minds —
anopen
source, encrypted, and community-owned social network site that
values free speech and
doesn’t bow to government or advertiser pressure. It hosts
individual user profiles and blogs and creates an unfiltered
newsfeed for its users.
Members
can even be paid for posting their content if it garners a
significant number of views and upvotes. Although at present the
Minds community is tiny compared to that of Facebook, it may in years
to come become a more popular alternative, as Facebook continues to
disappoint.
Avoiding
outright censorship if and when It happens
While
censorship has long
been a reality in
countries like China, Western governments like to tout themselves as
being the guardians of freedom and the free flow of information. But
many of these governments, particularly the United States, have come
to realize in recent years that they are on
the losing side of
the “information war,” as trust in the corporate-owned media and
the government itself has sunk to historic lows.
Though
Western governments have, so far, outsourced censorship to technology
companies like Google and Facebook, there is little reason to believe
that these governments will refrain from demanding the outright
censorship of information that doesn’t toe the official line.
Take,
for example, the recent rhetoric of U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May
who, in the wake of the Manchester bombing, has pushed for censoring
“extremist propaganda” online. May’s assertion concerned
internet watchdog groups,
who likened her proposals to China’s widespread censorship of the
Internet.
If
official government censorship comes to your country – or if you
suspect that it is already there – the easiest workaround is
setting up a virtual private network, or VPN. A VPN allows you to use
your computer as though it were connected to a network other than the
one you actually use. In the event of government censorship in your
country, a VPN allows you to virtually connect to a network set up in
another country where such censorship is not in effect. Using a VPN
has the added bonus of greater Internet privacy — as effective VPN
protocols encrypt your traffic, helping to protect you from
government surveillance as well as censorship.
VPNs
are provided by VPN service providers, not all of whom are created
equal. VPN providers with good reputations include Strong VPN,
SurfEasy, and TunnelBear. Of these, TunnelBear is the least
expensive – offering a free service – and SurfEasy the most
expensive at $11.99 per month. However, the Opera browser now

Gistermorgen stemde ik rond 7.40 u. af op Radio1, waar ik nog net hare kwaadaardigheid Ankie Rechess hoorde, de zionistische correspondent van de NOS in Israël.
Tot m’n grote verbijstering sprak men over de proloog van de Giro d’Italia, die volgend jaar in Jeruzalem zou starten…… Volgens Rechess is het een gerucht, maar toch…….
Na met Rechess gesproken te hebben, sprak Jurgen van den Berg, de bijna meest hopeloze presentator van Radio1, met een wielercommentator (u weet wel zo’n figuur die 95% van de tijd niets te vertellen heeft, maar alsnog schreeuwend de tijd weet vol te ouwehoeren….)..
Met veel gelach om niets kwam men tot de conclusie, dat de Giro een mooie promotie is voor Israël, voor een terreurstaat die een apartheidsbeleid voert tegen de oorspronkelijke bevolking van Palestina……… Een terreurstaat die met toestemming van het westen, de oorspronkelijke bevolking uit een groot deel van Palestina heeft verjaagd, middels enorme terreur …….
Israël is: een terreurstaat die kinderen opsluit vanwege het gooien met stenen en niet schroomt deze te martelen, hetzij geestelijk dan wel fysiek……. Een terreurstaat die in feite een vorm van etnische zuivering doorvoert, door Palestijnen op de West Bank het leven onmogelijk te maken, waarbij het grootste deel van de Palestijnse boeren hun grond zijn kwijtgeraakt…..

Het viel me nog mee, dat Fröhlich toegaf, dat er geen persvrijheid is in Israël, hoe hij Israël dan nog een democratie met een goedwerkende rechtspraak kan noemen, is me een raadsel……..

Marjolein Moorman, de ‘kersverse’ lijsttrekker van de PvdA in Amsterdam, was gisteren één van de gasten in Kots Kamerbreed op Radio1.
Aan de hand van Zomergasten, dat voor vanavond met van der Laan staat gepland, hoorde ik dat men de uitzending ‘live’ op grote schermen in de stad zal laten zien…….. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Alsof we hier met Gandhi* zelf te maken hebben, i.p.v. een PvdA oplichter, die in z’n werk al meerdere keren heeft laten zien een grote rotzak te zijn.
Volgens Moorman is het logisch dat die uitzending op grote schermen wordt vertoond, daar van der Laan bijzonder geliefd is bij de Amsterdammers, ook bij moslims…….. Kijk als je dat eraan toevoegt, laat je zien, dat je er niets van begrijpt en sluit je deze mensen alsnog uit, blijkbaar staan moslims verder totaal buiten de maatschappij, behalve als het om Amsterdamse moslims gaat, die hebben hun Eberhard van der Laan…… ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!
Overigens stelde Moorman, dat die uitzendingen op grote schermen in de stad de mensen nog meer zal verbinden, meer dan ze even daarvoor stelde: van der Laan heeft de Amsterdammers weten te verbinden (zeker als een Florence Nightingale met een enorme verbandtrommel….). Vreemd trouwens, als je Moorman moest geloven, is er niemand anders die de verschillende bevolkingsgroepen zo heeft weten te verbinden….. Wat een paar grote schermen met een flutuitzending op voorhand al niet weten te bewerkstelligen (ja sorry mensen, ik kan al jaren het meer dan vervelende Zomergasten niet meer zien, ik word er schijtziek van).
Voorts wist Moorman te melden dat van der Laan niet alleen ontzettend geliefd is bij de Amsterdammers, maar dat hij ook ontzettend onderlegd is……… Je mag toch hopen dat een burgemeester iets meer weet dan een doorsnee inwoner van de stad waar hij burgervader mag spelen, kortom wat het nut van die ‘ontzettende’ Moorman-uitspraak was, is mij totaal onduidelijk……. Het woord ‘ontzettend’ viel nog een aantal keren in de lofbetuigingen van Moorman aan het adres van van der Laan………
Ja, echt een ontzettende goede, ontzettend fijne, ontzettend verbindende kerel die van der Laan, vooral omdat hij nu kanker blijkt te hebben……… ‘Van de aan kanker lijdende medemens niets dan goeds’ zal Moorman hebben gedacht, helaas is dat gelul, zoals dit ook voor de doden niet opgaat!
Ik vrees dat er vanavond vooral veel gehersenspoelde PvdA’ers bij de grote Amsterdamse schermen staan te kijken en ja daar zitten ook wat moslims tussen…..
Benieuwd wat die PvdA moslims en andere islam gelovigen vinden van de stedenband die Amsterdam onderhoudt met Tel Aviv (een stad waar de meeste Palestijnen zijn verdreven), een stad in de agressieve fascistische apartheidsstaat Israël, een band waar van der Laan dubbel en dwars achterstaat……. Te gek voor woorden: GB stuurt politieagenten naar Israël voor een training in contraterrorisme……. Benieuwd of ze die agenten ook leren, dat je eerst zelfs barbaarse terreur moet uitoefenen, een land illegaal moet bezetten en grond en huizen stelen van de oorspronkelijke bewoners, om vervolgens de bewoners die zich verzetten, uit te maken voor ‘terroristen’, waarop de ‘terrorismebestrijding’ middels enorme terreur wordt opgevat……..
Uiteraard gaat de training gepaard met het gebruik van wapens, die de politie van GB niet eens gebruikt. Zie de militarisering van de VS politie: zelfs pantserwagen en ‘halve tanks’ worden daar ingezet tegen de eigen bevolking als die vreedzaam demonstreert…… Het zal u dan ook niet verbazen dat grote delen van de politie in de VS zijn opgeleid in ‘contraterrorisme’ door Israëlische psychopathische terroristen.
Je kan dan ook niet anders concluderen dan dat landen als GB zich omvormen tot een politiestaat en dat tegen terreur die het zelf met terreur elders heeft gekweekt…… Een politiestaat zoals Israël is dan ook continue vergeven van politie en andere veiligheidsdiensten op straat…..
Vergeet daarnaast niet dat steeds meer mensen buiten de maatschappij komen te staan en in diepe armoede leven, de kans dat deze mensen bij een komende crisis de straat op zullen gaan en daarbij geweld zullen gebruiken, is levensgroot, ook die mensen zal men uitmaken voor terroristen…….. Met andere woorden: men wil voor die tijd de vorming van een politiestaat voltooid hebben……….. Niet voor niets zie je steeds vaker dat militaire trainingen plaats vinden in bewoond gebied (ook in Nederland!).
Terug naar de huidige terreur in het westen: de politie en geheime diensten in GB doen niets met informatie van moslims over mensen uit de eigen omgeving, die terreur willen gebruiken…… Sterker nog: zelfs als die geheime diensten en politie weten, dat iemand gevaarlijk is en buitenlandse diensten een waarschuwing geven voor een dergelijke figuur, doet men nog niets, zoals keer op keer blijkt (dat geldt voor veel landen, zoals ook voor Nederland….)…… Je ‘zou soms bijna denken dat dit met opzet is’, zodat men meer budget en nog meer bevoegdheden kan eisen……..

De hoogste tijd dat Israël voor het Internationaal Strafhof wordt gedaagd vanwege de enorme hoeveelheid oorlogsmisdaden, etnische zuiveringen en de andere terreur die het los laat op Palestijnse mensen!!!

government sources say a British team is set to travel to Israel in
the near future to learn Israeli counterterrorism enforcement
strategies. The proposed move comes amid a spate of terrorist
activity in the United Kingdom, as well as concerns about the British
authorities’ response time and ability to counter terrorist
attacks.
However, as the Independent notes:
“There
are, of course,significant
differences between political violence in the UK and Israel. The
murders and maiming in the streets of Britain are in pursuit of a
murderous Islamist jihad with a variety of justifications offered
including retaliation for the war against Isis in Iraq and Syria. In
Israel and the occupied territories it is justified as part of the
struggle for Palestinian nationhood against Israel.”
The Jerusalem Post cites police involvement as being integral when it comes to “turning the tide” in Jerusalem’s battle against terrorist activity. More than 3,500 police officers are reportedly involved in multiple units, constantly patrolling and on guard with undercover officers on site at all times.
Considering
this, it is curious that the United Kingdom would want to learn
police tactics from an occupying
force that
suppresses its local population. Why would the United Kingdom want to
create a similar environment and heavily arm its police force? And to
what end?
Why
should anyone take the United Kingdom’s commitment to genuinely
counter extremism seriously considering its current
prime minister gave free
passage to
the Manchester-based Libyan Islamic Fighting Group to Libya in 2011
to battle Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi? The recent Manchester
attacker was affiliated with this group, meaning the U.K. government
actively cultivated the conditions for the Manchester terrorist
attack to take place.
In
2005, the then-chief of police of Washington DC, Terrance W.
Gainer, told the Washington
Post that
“Israel is the Harvard of antiterrorism.” The Post also
reports that Israeli security experts were traveling across the
United States to teach their counterterrorism tactics with not only
“big-city cops” but also county sheriffs and police chiefs from
diverse locations, too.
According
to Amnesty
International,
Israeli police have trained law
enforcement officials from Baltimore, Florida, New Jersey,
Pennsylvania, California, Arizona, Connecticut, New York,
Massachusetts, North Carolina, Georgia, and Washington state, to name
but a few.
Israeli
tactics have resulted in the deaths
of hundreds of
Palestinians, including a host
of children.
Even at the time of this article’s publication, Israel’s latest
crackdown has killed at least three Palestinians
and injured
hundreds more.
In
this context, America’s rampantly
violent police culture should
make a lot more sense. One U.S. police officer, notoriously infamous
for violently
taking down a
15-year-old girl in McKinney, was even trained in Israeli martial
arts.
If
you’re an American citizen, your tax
dollars actively pay
for this violent militarism.
People
who refuse to condemn or criticize Israel’s treatment of the
Palestinian people are completely unaware that they, too, will be on
the receiving end of such barbaric treatment in the near future.
Do
a handful of lone terror attacks in the United Kingdom warrant such
militarized tactics? Who will these tactics be directed toward?
Surely, it is not a stretch to assume these initiatives will be
heavily felt by Britain’s
Muslim community,
the same Muslim community that tried to warn authorities
about potential
terrorists multiple times.
The
authorities turn a blind eye to these dangerously violent people and
enlist their help when it is time to overthrow an unfriendly
government in the Middle East. This same government wants to then
restrict citizens’ basic freedoms while
using their tax revenue to train and transform their police forces
into a quasi-occupation military force.
Rather
than studying how to oppress people even further, perhaps the U.K.
could learn the lessons from its heavily misguided interventionist
policies and focus on improving the state of the world, not
deteriorating it.
We
might not care about this issue now when it seems only Palestinian
people are the ones being oppressed by such tactics (not to mention
the innocent civilians of the countless number
of despotic regimes and human rights abusers,
which Israel sells its weaponry to). But it would be wise to wake up
and see the situation for what it is before it manifests itself in
the inevitably ugly way some
people are predicting.
Consider
that Saudi Arabia is about to execute 14 non-violent protesters —
and that British police have been
accused of
directly aiding their capture — and you might be able to picture a
small taste of what’s to come. (One of these prisoners
is disabled and
was arrested at the age of 17).
As forewarned by
Eitay Mack, a Jerusalem-based human rights lawyer and activist:
“In
honor of the Palestinians in the occupied territories, whose land,
property, and persons have been transformed into a giant laboratory
for experimentation in new technologies and types of warfare so that
the Israeli security and arms industries can produce glossy brochures
and stamp their products with the words ‘successfully tested’ and
market them abroad. Men and women in countries
around the world where the technology of occupation has been
purchased from Israel [will] wake up one morning to discover that
their local police forces have turned into an army and their
neighborhoods into a war zone.” [emphasis

Bij het zoeken naar andere achtergrondinformatie, kwam ik gisteren een verslag van Ankie Rechess over de rellen op ‘de Tempelberg’ ofwel ‘Haram al-Sharif’ (voor islam gelovigen) tegen.
Afgelopen vrijdag was de ronduit zionistische blindganger Rechess te horen in NOS ‘Met het oog op morgen’ (Radio1 na 23.00 u.). Hier durfde Rechess o.a. het volgende te melden:
Het is belachelijk dat de Palestijnen* geen detectiepoortjes willen op één van hun 3 heiligste plaatsen. Je hebt hier overal van die poortjes aldus Rechess, zelfs bij de supermarkt……..
Rechess die voor de onafhankelijke zendgemachtigde NOS werkt, zou moeten weten, dat Israël in feite illegaal in Jeruzalem is. In de oorlog van 1948 werd het westelijk deel van die stad veroverd door Israël waaraan met de Zesdaagse Oorlog van 1967 het oostelijk deel werd toegevoegd (en ook illegaal werd bezet..)….. Rechess repte wel over een beveiliging die is afgesproken met de vorige machthebber van Oost-Jeruzalem, de Jordaniërs, maar begrijpt niet, dat Palestijnen kwaad worden over het door Israël steeds verder inperken van hun bewegingsvrijheid…….
Zie de beelden van de West Bank, waar Palestijnen door de achterlijke ommuring van hun door Israël illegaal bezette grondgebied vaak niet meer bij hun (landbouw-) grond kunnen komen……. Anderen kunnen alleen bij hun grond komen nadat ze tientallen kilometers hebben moeten omrijden en dat door diverse Israëlische versperringen, waar men het liefst de Palestijnen treitert en onnodig lang ophoudt, zodat die reis veelal uren duurt……….
In feite hebben de Israëlische zionisten niets te zoeken in Jeruzalem. Wat in ‘vredesbesprekingen’ met het mes op de keel is afgedwongen, is geen wettelijke grond voor een door de zwakste partij ‘toegegeven’ onteigening…….. Althans als er echt internationaal recht zou worden gesproken……..
Rechess denkt daar heel anders over, zoals u allang had begrepen, nee, Rechess stelt dat de angst bij de Palestijnen over een bezetting van de Tempelberg, ofwel Haram al-Sharif zoals de moslims dit plateau noemen, door de Israëliërs op niets is gebaseerd…… Wel grof hè, als je bedenkt dat er in het verleden al meermaals door zionisten is aangedrongen op geografische onderzoekingen, die uiteindelijk de sloop van een deel van de Al-Aqsamoskee, het heiligdom van de islam gelovigen, zou betekenen. Overigens roepen de fanatieke zionisten al jaren dat de Palestijnen van hun Tempelberg geschopt moeten worden.
Heel fijntjes legde Rechess vervolgens uit, dat de Palestijnen de boel willen opjutten en dat dit goed is gelukt……..
Hoe lang kan je een volk onderdrukken, knechten, achterstellen en onder de duim houden (o.a. door zo nu en dan enorme bloedbaden aan te richten) zonder dat dit volk actie onderneemt….? Als je niets meer te verliezen hebt vanwege geweld en achterstelling (apartheid) opgelegd door een bezetter, wat zou je dan nog beletten om zelf geweld te gebruiken??**
Overigens was ook het Radio1 nieuws van 23.00 u. diezelfde vrijdag behoorlijk vaag, er zouden gewonden en dodelijke slachtoffers zijn gevallen, waarbij natuurlijk wel op de moord werd gewezen, die een week eerder plaatsvond op Israëlische politieagenten (“nota bene” van arabische achtergrond, zo vertelde Rechess later)…… Gewonden en doden door Israëlisch optreden tegen de Palestijnse demonstratie? Volgens diverse berichten meer dan 100 gewonde en 3 vermoorde Palestijnen………..
Rechess vond het nodig om vooral op 3 dode Israëliërs te wijzen die diezelfde vrijdag in een illegale nederzetting, op de illegaal bezette West Bank, werden vermoord door een hoogstwaarschijnlijk radeloze Palestijn. Niet dat dit in Jeruzalem gebeurde, al zal de argeloze luisteraar gegarandeerd die indruk hebben gekregen……..
Hoe is het mogelijk dat deze zionist met ons belastinggeld wordt betaald, om pro-Israëlische propaganda te maken bij een onafhankelijke zendgemachtigde op Radio1????? Overigens is Rechess ook haatzaai-correspondent voor de VRT…………
Oh vergeet ik te vertellen, dat de presentator geen letter van kritiek uitte op de woorden van Rechess, alles werd als waarheid aangehoord. Het is duidelijk de redactie van ‘Met het oog op morgen’ geen kritiek op Israël duldt……… Mensen hoe is dit voor de oneindig zoveelste keer mogelijk????
