Volgens
de VS is Syrië bezig met expansie, nee niet buiten haar grenzen, maar
binnen haar eigen grenzen…… ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Hoe
godvergeten gestoord moet je zijn om iets dergelijks te beweren??!!!
De VS bedreigt Syrië met geweld als het zal proberen gebied in het zuiden van het land te heroveren, gebied dat wordt bezet door psychopathische moordenaars, verkrachters en martelbeulen, je weet wel volk waarbij het VS leger zich goed thuis voelt….. en dit niet alleen vanwege het moorden en martelen, zaken die geen land op onze kleine aarde beter beheerst dan de VS, dat alleen deze eeuw al dik meer dan 2 miljoen moorden op haar naam heeft staan en een ontelbaar aantal gevallen van marteling, zowel in Guantanamo Bay, maar ook in geheime CIA gevangenissen in het buitenland…….
Let wel: nog steeds is de VS volkomen illegaal op Syrisch grondgebied aanwezig en dan het soevereine Syrië (waar haar grenzen internationaal en door de VN worden erkend) de wacht aan durven zeggen als het de wet wil handhaven tegen terreurtroepen, die in de VS en de rest van het westen ‘gematigde rebellen’ worden genoemd >> te zot voor woorden!
Uiteraard wijst de VS op een eerder gesloten wapenstilstand, echter de enige die zich daar enigszins aan heeft gehouden is het Syrische leger en haar coalitie met o.a. Rusland en Iran……
Sterker nog: Syrië heeft zelfs de plicht om een eind aan de terreur tegen haar burgers te maken!!

Threatens Syria With “Firm And Appropriate Measures” After
New Airstrikes
Washington
is once again concerned about Syrian government expansion inside…
wait for it… Syria.
The
United States threatened to take “firm
and appropriate measures” against Syrian government forces,
claiming repeat “ceasefire violations” and concerned over
reports that the Syrian Army may be poised for a new military
operation to retake Deraa in the country’s south.
State
Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert said
late Friday,
“As a guarantor of this de-escalation area with Russia and Jordan,
the United States will take firm and appropriate measures in response
to Assad regime violations.”

Nauert
referenced the thus far tenuously-holding deal
between the US, Russia, and Jordan struck
last November which among other stipulations proposed efforts
for “the reduction, and ultimate elimination
of foreign forces and foreign fighters from the area
to ensure a more sustainable peace.” This was
widely interpreted
at the time as
calling for an
“Iran-free” zone in southern Syria,
as Israel has long threatened to go to war should Iranian troops be
present near its border.
The
State Department warnings come at the end of a week in which Syrian
state media claimed US
fighter jets attacked Syrian Army positions in the eastern desert
near the Iraq border overnight Wednesday,
which reportedly killed
12 pro-government fighters.
The
US, however, has
denied any involvement:
“We have no operational reporting of a U.S.-led coalition strike
against pro-Syrian regime targets or forces,” CENTCOM spokesman
Captain Bill Urban said
in a statement.
And a separate Pentagon spokesman said, “These
reports are false,
the coalition did not strike any Syrian army positions in eastern
Syria.”
And
less than 24 hours later, another airstrike on
a base in central Syria is
widely reported to have involved Israel, believed to have targeted a
Hezbollah weapons depot.
Notably,
a Reuters report acknowledges
the US warning issued late Friday comes as 1)
Syrian government forces have cleaned
out the last ISIS pockets in the country’s south;
and 2) Damascus is now “in
its strongest position since the early months of the war in 2011”.
Reuters notes further that the government has “recaptured
all remaining insurgent areas near Damascus in recent weeks,
including the densely populated eastern Ghouta area, as well as big
enclaves in central Syria.”
So
essentially while warning against “Assad regime violations”
and expansion, the State Department is reasserting the
US position that Syria cannot “expand” within
its own sovereign borders (borders
obviously long recognized internationally and by the United Nations).
The
Syrian Army is making preparations to move deeper into the southern
province of Deraa where fighting began during the opening months the
war starting in 2011. Syrian state media has reported that government
planes are dropping leaflets over towns in the region, warning
anti-Assad forces that they must disarm or face military attack.

Meanwhile,
the New
York Times has
published what purports
to be a detailed account of
a February 7th major clash between pro-government forces and Russian
allies and pro-US forces, which we
explained at the time was
cause for “an acute international crisis” as it left up
to hundreds on the pro-government and Russian side dead,
and may have controversially included Russian mercenaries.
The
NYT description of what took place paints a glowing picture of US
special forces successfully holding off a massive assault by hundreds
of pro-government fighters, based on multiple interviews and
documents given to the Times. Business
Insider summarizes
the NYT revelation as follows :
Roughly
40 US commandos held off about 500 forces loyal to the Syrian
government — including Russian mercenaries — in an intense
firefight in early February, The
New York Times reports.
No
US troops were harmed, but hundreds of pro-government forces were
killed, according to The Times.
The
firefight took place at an outpost next to a Conoco gas station in
eastern Syria on February 7.
In
the end, 200 to 300 of the attacking fighters were killed. The others
retreated under merciless airstrikes from the United States,
returning later to retrieve their battlefield dead. None of the
Americans at the small outpost in eastern Syria — about 40 by the
end of the firefight — were harmed.

further:
The
firefight was described by the Pentagon as an act of self-defense
against a unit of pro-Syrian government forces. In interviews, United
States military officials said they had watched — with dread —
hundreds of approaching rival troops, vehicles and artillery pieces
in the week leading up to the attack.
If
both this week’s reported foreign air assaults and last month’s
massive US coalition strikes on Damascus are any indication, such
direct clashes between Syria and the US forces will likely occur
again. The only question that remains is the degree to which things
will escalate in any future confrontation as the stakes are now even
higher with Damascus feeling itself in a more comfortable security
position compared to last year, and has a new confidence to respond
militarily.

Camp had in zijn programma ‘Redacted Tonight’ journalist Eva Bartlett middels een videoverbinding vanuit
Beiroet. Bartlett sprak over haar ervaringen in Syrië en m.n. Over de enorme berg
leugens die de reguliere (massa-) media over de strijd in Syrië hebben gebracht. (en nog steeds brengen, zelfs al zijn een aantal leugens meermaals doorgeprikt…..)
Zo
vertelt Bartlett dat er in het ziekenhuis in Douma niemand is
overleden aan de zogenaamde gifgasaanval, ‘gepleegd door het Syrische leger….’ (oké
dat was al bekend, maar nog meer bewijs middels getuigen daarvoor kan geen kwaad,
integendeel als je ziet dat de reguliere media en het overgrote deel
van de westerse politici deze leugen in de lucht houden……)
Niet
alleen in het ziekenhuis van Douma stelde men dat er geen
gifgasaanval slachtoffers werden opgenomen dan wel dood verklaard,
maar ook de burgers van Douma stelden hetzelfde: er heeft geen
gifgasaanval plaatsgevonden in Douma……Trouwens opvallend stil
rond deze zaak, ook al heeft de VS n.a.v. (ook eigen) leugens daarover raketten afgeschoten op doelen in Syrië….. Ach de oorlogsmisdaden
van de VS halen amper of niet de reguliere media, kijk als het om de
Syrische regering of de Russische zou gaan was dit volkomen
omgedraaid en zou de boel op z’n kop staan……. Sterker nog: met grote regelmaat worden de oorlogsmisdaden van de VS goedgesproken in de reguliere westerse media…..
Bartlett
heeft ook Oost-Aleppo bezocht en stelt dat de bevolking dol blij was
met de bevrijding door het reguliere Syrische leger, waar deze
bevolking vertelde over de enorme terreur waaronder ze moesten leven,
terreur van door het westen als ‘gematigde rebellen’ aangeduide
psychopathische moordenaars, verkrachters en martelbeulen…….
Voorts
bevestigde Bartlett de verhalen over de White Helmets in Oost-Aleppo:
volgens haar (en vele anderen) zijn deze White Helmets een verlengde
van Al Qaida en andere terreurgroepen in Syrie.
Wat
betreft ‘de opstand’ die in Syrië in 2011 begon stelde Bartlett dat
niet regeringstroepen op demonstranten schoten, maar juist
demonstranten (uit andere bronnen bleek al dat hier veel
buitenlanders aan meededen) dit om de schuld in de schoenen van Assad
en het Syrische leger te kunnen schuiven, ofwel: een false flag
operatie….. False Flag operaties, ‘toevallig’ een bezigheid waar de VS al meer dan 100 jaar veruit de grote
kampioen is >> dezelfde VS die (samen met GB, Turkije,
Saoedi-Arabië en nog een paar arabische staten) al in 2006
voorbereidingen trof om in Syrië een opstand te organiseren, met het
uiteindelijke doel Assad af te zetten……..

Reporter in Syria Reveals Mainstream Media’s Lies
Het
was voor velen al duidelijk: de aanval van de VS, Frankrijk en
Groot-Brittannie tegen Syrische doelen was illegaal, je weet wel na de zogenaamde gifgasaanval van het reguliere Syrische leger in Douma. Uiteraard werd en wordt dit bestreden door de
reguliere westerse media en het grootste deel van de westerse
politici……. Een paar uur na deze ‘gifgasaanval’ wist men het
zeker: Syrië ‘is de dader’ en het duivelse Rusland steunt dit
‘moorddadige bewind…….’
Nu is er een luitenant-kolonel van de NAVO (dus uit ‘onverdachte hoek’),
de Nederlander Kris van der Mey, die stelt dat deze aanval van de VS en twee partners inderdaad
illegaal was en een misdaad is volgens het internationaal recht!!
Van
der Mey legt uit hoe e.e.a. moet worden gezien. Lullig dat hij
daarbij de leugen aanhaalt, die werd rondgebazuind door de reguliere
westerse media en westerse politici >> Khadaffi slachtte zijn
eigen mensen af en daarom greep men in. Gelukkig stelt van der Meij
wel dat zelfs de oorlog tegen Khadaffi in feite illegaal was (dus eigenlijk op onjuiste gronden….)…….
Bij de ‘opstand’ die tot de oorlog in Libië leidde (een opstand vooral door de VS gesteund, mede georganiseerd en geregisseerd), slachtte Khadaffi zijn eigen mensen niet af, losgeslagen terreurgroepen
pleegden aanslagen op o.a. burgerdoelen om deze daarna in de schoenen
van Khadaffi te schuiven, ofwel weer typische ‘false flag’
operaties naar recept van de VS……..
Van
der Meij vergeet voor het gemak dat Libië onder Khadaffi het rijkste
land van Afrika was, waar scholing en zelfs studeren in het
buitenland gratis waren (waar de studenten zelfs leefgeld kregen),
dat was verder van toepassing op de huisvesting (bijna gratis),
medische hulp en de energielevering……..
De
partij die Khadaffi weg wilde hebben was vooral in het buitenland te
vinden, met hoofdrolspelers VS, Frankrijk en Groot-Brittannië…….
Met dank aan hen en andere NAVO partners (Nederland deed
verkenningsvluchten) werd Libië plat gebombardeerd. Khadaffi gruwelijk vermoord en het land in enorme
chaos gedompeld…… Intussen is Libië het bijna armste land van Afrika
(de enorme goudvoorraad, waar Khadaffi een internationaal
betaalmiddel mee wilde instellen, als alternatief voor de op lucht gefundeerde
olie-dollar, werd gestolen en het zou me verbazen als die niet in de
VS opgeslagen ligt, dan wel elders is te vinden onder toezicht van de VS….)
De chaos is nog steeds compleet in Libië en er worden intussen zelfs slavenmarkten georganiseerd…..
Kortom de zoveelste waanzinnige prestatie van het westen o.l.v. de grootste terreurentiteit op aarde: de VS!!

Lawyer: Syria Strike Wasn’t Justified by International Law
In
case you were in need of additional evidence that the strike on Syria
recently conducted by the US, the UK and France was illegal, besides
the simple logic that countries probably shouldn’t bomb other
countries without an indisputable reason to do so, a
lawyer affiliated with NATO
has declared that the Syria strike was illegal.
Regardless
of what Assad and his regime did or did not do, was bombing Syria the
correct course of action? Numerous public figures, experts,
journalists and normal people have called the legality of the
military strike into question. And rightfully so. But now we have a
lawyer on our side. A NATO affiliated lawyer to boot.
Lieutenant
Colonel Kris van der Meij is his name. The Dutch lawyer is currently
working at the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence
(CCDCOE)
in Estonia, focusing on the intersection of international law and
cyber conflict. While the CCDCOE is not directly funded by NATO, it
is an accredited NATO Center of Excellence.
According
to van
der Meij, none of his CCDCOE colleagues accepted the mission’s
“humanitarian” claim a valid reason for military
aggression.
According
to international law, military action against another country is
allowed for only three reasons: self defense, after a UN Security
Council resolution, or after a request for intervention is made by
the country where the attack is to take place.
However,
in unique situations, international law also permits intervention to
aid in alleviating humanitarian distress when there is extensive and
convincing evidence of extreme humanitarian
suffering. There must also be no alternative methods available to
alleviate that distress.
The
UK claims it met these requirements, despite the fact that the
narrative of the chemical attack on Douma on April 7 continues to
crumble.
“The
fourth option sometimes mentioned is this humanitarian intervention,
like they did in Libya for example when Gaddafi was slaughtering his
own people,”
van der Meij said.
“But
this is not yet considered customary international law. We don’t
accept this as a reason to act.“
Russia
and Syria continue to clearly communicate that they strikes were in
violation of international law. Vladimir Safronkov, Russia’s
ambassador to the UN, called the attacks a “flagrant
violation of international law and an act of aggression”
at a recent UN Security Council meeting.
Conversely,
NATO secretary general Jens Stoltenberg, has said he supports the
actions taken by the US, the JK and France, saying “There
was no other alternative than to react the way they reacted this
night.”
But
something about bombing people due to claims that they were unjustly
bombed just doesn’t sit right, especially on the cusp of an
intergovernmental organization’s investigation into the alleged
bombing. It should be customary for an international investigation to
be completed prior to, not hindered by, military actions being taken.
Or perhaps it’s time to reevaluate why NATO, the UN, and
international law even exist.
Als ik ‘s nachts naar bed ga, zet ik meestal nog even BBC World Service aan op de radio. Zo ook gisternacht rond 1.10 u. Onmiddellijk werd mijn aandacht getrokken doordat de naam Vanessa Beeley werd genoemd, zij is één van de beste oorlogscorrespondenten, die bovendien nog het echte ‘handwerk’ doet………
Aan het woord o.a. professor Scott Lucas van de Birmingham University. Deze schoft stelde dat oorlogscorrespondent Beeley en Sarah Abdallah een Libanese pro-Assad twitteraar (o.a. SyriaHoax hashtag) veel kwaad doen met hun werk en noemde hen zelfs gevaarlijk….. Niet dat de twee ook maar één keer zijn veroordeeld vanwege geweldpleging……..
Tja als je tegenwoordig de waarheid vertelt en die is tegen de huidige status quo, waar Rusland, Syrië en Iran de grote boosdoeners zijn (en niet juist de grootste terreurentiteit op aarde, de VS), ben je ‘natuurlijk’ staatsgevaarlijk en al helemaal als je daarbij Saoedi-Arabië (met o.a. de hulp van de VS) verwijt een genocide uit te voeren in Jemen (wat werkelijk zo is!)….
Dat ‘staatsgevaarlijk’ is dan ook wat je na een paar minuten in de uitzending meekreeg (al werd dit woord niet gebruikt, die suggestie werd wel degelijk gewekt; het woord gevaarlijk werd overigens wel gebruikt)….. Groot-Brittannië steunt S-A met deze genocide, zoals de VS dat ook doet, waarbij de laatste nog net wat verder gaat, o.a.: -met troepen op de Jemenitische bodem, -het bijtanken van Saoedische straaljagers zodat deze zo efficiënt mogelijk de sjiieten kunnen bombarderen en -zeeblokkades uitvoeren voor de havens waar humanitaire goederen kunnen worden aangevoerd voor de lijdende sjiitische bevolking van Jemen…… Ach en dan weet je het wel, men is ook in universiteiten afhankelijk van de overheid, zeker wat betreft wetgeving t.a.v. studie enz., dus dan ga je als ‘professor’ niet tekeer tegen de zich aan de genocide in Jemen scheel verdienende Britse overheid….. Dit terzijde om aan te geven hoever men wil gaan om ronduit staatsterreur te verdedigen……
Lucas stelt dat er een ‘informatie oorlog’ bezig is waar o.a. Beeley en Abdallah de grote foute partij zijn, die veel mensen bereiken met hun ‘desinformatie’ en samenzweringstheorieën…….. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Het is juist volkomen andersom, zij ontwarren de schimmige samenzweringstheorieën die door de reguliere westerse media en politici worden verspreid! Lucas noemde de gifgasaanval van vorig jaar op Kahn Sheikhoun, waar o.a. Abdallah over stelde dat dit een false flag was om Syrië de schuld in de schoenen te schuiven en een VS aanval te ‘rechtvaardigen’ (terwijl de VS NB illegaal in Syrie zit!!).
Lucas stelde daarover dat de conclusies al werden getrokken toen het onderzoek nog bezig was….. Wat hij niet vertelde was het feit dat de VN inspecteurs stelden dat er geen aanval met sarin gas had plaatsgevonden en er wel sporen van chlorine waren gevonden, chlorine dat (alweer) NB in het bezit was van de Al Qaida groepering die daar de boel ‘onder controle’ (lees: onder het terreurbewind) had……… Deskundigen stelden dan ook dat de aanval van Syrische troepen op een terreurdoel was uitgemond in het raken van een voorraad chlorine, terwijl men nog steeds spreekt over sarin gas, wat Lucas zelf toevallig niet deed…….. Die leugen ging zelfs hem waarschijnlijk te ver, niet in de laatste plaats daar het bewijs van het tegengestelde te groot is……….
Overigens niet vreemd dat men eerder grote kritiek heeft op het direct stellen dat Syrië een gifgasaanval heeft uitgevoerd. Immers Lucas ‘vergeet’ voor het gemak dat juist het westen direct (soms zelfs binnen twee uur na een ‘aanval’) het Syrische leger aanwijst als dader…….. Alsof er dan al wel een onderzoek heeft plaatsgevonden….. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!
Eén ding is zeker mensen, nadat de sociale media werden beschuldigd van het brengen van fake news (nepnieuws), men mensen die wel met de waarheid op de proppen komen nu als gevaarlijk gaat neerzetten……. Als Beeley of Abdallah straks worden vermoord weten we wie de schuldigen zijn: Scott Lucas en de BBC, dat zelf ook met feiten veel van de praatjes van Lucas onderuit had kunnen halen, maar ja de BBC is nu eenmaal een grote rad in het verspreiden van anti-Rusland/Syrië/Iran propaganda en het brengen van fake news, zoals de BBC dat ook deed in aanloop naar de illegale VS oorlogen tegen Afghanistan, Irak, Libie en nu weer Syrië…. Waarbij niet moet worden vergeten dat deze BBC, een ‘onafhankelijke zendgemachtigde’, afhankelijk is van overheidssubsidies……… En nee dit heeft niets te maken met complotdenken, maar alles met het weergeven van feiten!!!
Tot slot wil ik nog wijzen op een video van de Jimmy Dore Show. Hij nagelt samen met Brigida Santos de BBC aan de paal voor het verdedigen van de westerse houding t.a.v. Syrië en Rusland. Aan de orde o.a. John Kerry die als minister van BuZa toegeeft dat Saoedi-Arabië een enorm deel betaalt van de kosten voor de illegale VS oorlog in Syrië….. Ook aan de orde waarom de VS nu echt in Syrië zit, niet alleen de weigering van Assad voor een gaspijpleiding, maar ook op aandringen van Israël en Saoedi-Arabië, dit om Assad weg te krijgen (en het land op te delen). Suggestief wordt een voormalig topofficier van de Britse marine ‘geïnterviewd, lord West (‘first sea lord’) die nog enigszins kritiek heeft op de aanname dat Syrië de gifgasaanval in Douma heeft gepleegd en kritiek heeft op de White Helmets, de interviewer zijn antwoorden probeert te verdraaien of zelfs suggereert dat hij het bij het verkeerde eind heeft….. Zo suggereert ze dat de schuldtoewijzing aan Syrië voor de gifgasaanval in Douma, niet door de eerste besten werden gedaan (zoals meerdere geheime diensten, journalisten en het SOHR, een propaganda orgaan van de terreurgroepen in Syrië), waar een aantal van deze ‘eerste besten’ wel degelijk eerder door de mand vielen, zoals voor de illegale oorlog van de VS (met militaire hulp van GB) tegen Irak eind 2002 en begin 2003…..
Kijken mensen, ‘de moeite’ meer dan waard (video via Information Clearing House):
Er is momenteel een EU conferentie gaande over de wederopbouw van Syrië. WDR 5 meldde in het nieuws van 13.30 u. dat Duitsland een miljard wil geven voor de wederopbouw van Syrië (waarvan een deel voor de vluchtelingen in omliggende landen), waar de EU dit laat afhangen van ‘een paar voorwaarden’.
Zo stelt de EU o.a. dat er eerst vrije verkiezingen moeten worden gehouden in Syrië, verkiezingen waarvan Assad en zijn Ba’ath partij moeten worden uitgesloten…….. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! De oplichters in Brussel hebben wel een heel vreemde opvatting van ‘vrije verkiezingen……’ Trouwens hoe kunnen verkiezingen vrij zijn als men in het buitenland eisen stelt aan deze verkiezingen……
Daarmee is ook nog eens sprake van een illegale inmenging in binnenlandse aangelegenheden van een soevereine staat, een staat waarvan de regering in 2014 ook nog eens democratisch werd gekozen door een grote meerderheid van de kiezers, in door internationale waarnemers goedgekeurde verkiezingen >> iets dat onder meer door The Guardian middels ‘false news’, of zoals je wilt ‘nepnieuws’ werd en wordt ontkend…….)
Moet je nagaan: een aantal EU landen, waaronder Nederland, hebben ook nog eens meegedaan (of doen dit nog) aan de illegale oorlog tegen het democratisch gekozen Syrische bewind…….. Want daar komt het op neer: onder het mom van het bestrijden van IS, was en is men uit op de val van Assad……
Anti-Media
bracht gisteren een artikel van Tyler Durden dat eerder op Zero Hedge
werd pepubliceerd.
Uitgebreid
verteld Robert Fisk over zijn bevindingen in Douma. Fisk is één van
de weinigen die niet geloofde dat het winnende Syrische leger het
eigen volk zou aanvallen met gifgas….. Alweer als één van de
weinigen besloot Fisk zelf op onderzoek uit te gaan en hij vertrok
naar Douma. Terwijl de reguliere westerse (massa-) media en het
grootste deel van de westerse politici (plus zogenaamde deskundigen
en opiniemakers) keihard durven te zeggen dat het Syrische leger en
daarmee Assad schuldig is aan de ‘gifgasaanval’ en nee, daar heeft men geen bewijzen voor,
men lult elkaar en terreurgroep Jaysh al-Islam plus de White Helmets gewoon na………. (de White Helmets die al heel wat ‘fake news’ [nepnieuws] hebben verspreid, zoals bekend zou moeten zijn bij de westerse reguliere media en politiek……)
Sterker
nog: door de voornoemde woordvoerders van de media en andere figuren
wordt de grote gifgasaanval van augustus 2013 er keer op keer
bijgesleept als een oorlogsmisdaad van het reguliere Syrische leger, terwijl
uit en te na is aangetoond dat door het westen genoemde ‘gematigde

conclusie die Fisk heeft getrokken, is dat er zelfs geen gifgasaanval
heeft plaatsgevonden in Douma……..

Were Not Gassed”: Famed Reporter Reaches Syrian ‘Chemical Attack’
Site
(ZHE) — Robert
Fisk’s bombshell first-hand account for the UKIndependentruns
contrary to nearly every claim circulating in major international
press concerning what happened just over week ago on April 7th in an
embattled suburb outside Damascus: not only has the veteran British
journalist found no
evidence of a mass chemical attack, but he’s encountered multiple
local eyewitnesses who experienced the chaos of that night, but who
say the gas attack never happened.
Fisk
isthe
first Western journalist to reach and report from the site of
the alleged chemical weapons attackwidely
blamed on Assad’s forces. Writing
from Douma in eastern Ghouta, Robert Fisk has interviewed a Syrian
doctor who works at the hospital shown in one of the well-known
videos which purports to depict victims of a chemical attack.

Importantly,
the report, published late in the day Monday, is
causing a stir among
mainstream journalists who–minutes
after the Saudi-sponsored jihadist group Jaish
al-Islam (Army
of Islam) accused
the Syrian Army of gassing civilians–began
uncritically promoting the “Assad gassed his own people”
narrative as an already cemented and “proven” fact based on the
mere word a notoriously brutal armed group who itself
has admitted to using chemical weapons on the Syrian battlefield in
prior years. Also
notable is that no journalist or international observer was anywhere
near Douma when the purported chemical attack took place.
Controversy
ensued immediately after Fisk’s report, especially as he is
among the most recognizable names in the past four decades of Middle
East war reporting,
having twice won the British Press Awards’ Journalist of the Year
prize and as seven time winner of the British Press Awards’ Foreign
Correspondent of the Year (the NY
Times has referred
to him as“probably
the most famous foreign correspondent in Britain” while The
Guardian has
called him “one
of the most famous journalists in the world”). An Arabic speaker,
Fisk became famous for being among the few reporters in history to
conduct face-to-face interviews with Osama bin Laden, which he did on
three occasions between 1993 and 1997.
This
is the story of a town called Douma, a ravaged, stinking place of
smashed apartment blocks–and of an underground clinic whose images
of suffering allowed three of the Western world’s most powerful
nations to bomb Syria last week. There’s even a friendly doctor in
a green coat who, when I track him down in the very same
clinic, cheerfully
tells me that the “gas” videotape which horrified the world–
despite all the doubters–is perfectly genuine.
War
stories, however, have a habit of growing darker. For
the same 58-year old senior Syrian doctor then adds something
profoundly uncomfortable: the patients, he says, were overcome not by
gas but by oxygen starvationin
the rubbish-filled tunnels and basements in which they lived, on a
night of wind and heavy shelling that stirred up a dust storm.
Fisk
goes on to identify
the doctor by name – Dr. Assim Rahaibani – which is notable given
the fact that all early reporting from Douma typically relied on
“unnamed doctors” and anonymous opposition sources for early
claims of a chlorine gas attack (lately
morphed into an unverified “mixed” chlorine-and-sarin attack).
The
doctor’s testimony is consistent with that of the well-known Syrian
opposition group Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), which
initially reported based on its own pro-rebel sourcing that
heavy government bombardment of Douma city resulted in the
collapse of homes and underground shelters, causing civilians in
hiding to suffocate.
According
to SOHR,
which has long been a key go-to source for mainstream media over the
course of the war, “70
of them [women and children] have suffered suffocation as a result of
the demolition of home basements over them due to the heavy and
intense shelling.”
Though
outlets from The
Guardian to The
Washington Post to The
New York Times have
quoted SOHR on a near daily basis throughout the past six years of
war, the
anti-Assad opposition outlet’s reporting of mass asphyxiation
due to collapse of shelters has been notably absent from the same
publications.
Fisk
details the Syrian doctor’s testimony, who is adamant in his
emphasis that civilians were suffocating en masse, and
were not gassed:
It
was a short walk to Dr Rahaibani. From the door of his subterranean
clinic–“Point 200”, it is called, in the weird geology of this
partly-underground city–is a corridor leading downhill where he
showed me his lowly hospital and the few beds where a small girl was
crying as nurses treated a cut above her eye.
“I
was with my family in the basement of my home three hundred metres
from here on the night but all
the doctors know what happened.There
was a lot of shelling [by government forces] and aircraft were always
over Douma at night–but on this night, there was wind and huge dust
clouds began to come into the basements and cellars where people
lived. People
began to arrive here suffering from hypoxia, oxygen loss. Then
someone at the door, a “White Helmet”, shouted “Gas!”, and a
panic began. People started throwing water over each other. Yes, the
video was filmed here, it is genuine, but what you see are people
suffering from hypoxia–not gas poisoning.”
In
addition to interviewing a doctor while standing in the very hospital
featured in White Helmets footage of the events, Fisk cites the
testimonies of multiple locals in the following:
Before
we go any further, readers should be aware that this is not the only
story in Douma. There
are the many people I talked to amid the ruins of the town who said
they had “never believed in” gas stories–which were usually put
about, they claimed, by the armed Islamist groups.
These
particular jihadis survived under a blizzard of shellfire by living
in other’s people’s homes and in vast,
wide tunnels with underground roads carved through the living rock by
prisoners with pick-axes on three levels beneath the town.I
walked through three of them yesterday, vast corridors of living rock
which still contained Russian–yes, Russian–rockets and burned-out
cars.
And
further fascinating is that the veteran British war correspondent
comes upon local Douma residents who have so long been trapped in an
isolated ‘fog
of war’ battlefield
environment, that they are not even aware of the international
importance that the town has played in the US coalition decision to
bomb Syria:
So
the story of Douma is thus not just a story of gas–or no gas, as
the case may be. It’s about thousands of people who did not opt for
evacuation from Douma on buses that left last week, alongside
the gunmen with whom they had to livelike
troglodytes for months in order to survive.
I
walked across this town quite freely yesterday without soldier,
policeman or minder to haunt my footsteps, just two Syrian friends, a
camera and a notebook.I
sometimes had to clamber across 20-foot-high ramparts, up and down
almost sheer walls of earth. Happy to see foreigners among them,
happier still that the siege is finally over, they are mostly
smiling; those whose faces you can see, of course, because a
surprising number of Douma’s women wear full-length black hijab.
…Oddly,
after chatting to more than 20 people, I couldn’t find one who
showed the slightest interest in Douma’s role in bringing about the
Western air attacks.Two
actually told me they didn’t know about the connection.
But
it was a strange world I walked into. Two men, Hussam and Nazir Abu
Aishe, said they were unaware how many people had been killed in
Douma, although
the latter admitted he had a cousin “executed by Jaish el-Islam
[the Army of Islam] for allegedly being “close to the regime”.They
shrugged when I asked about the 43 people said to have died in the
infamous Douma attack.
The
White Helmets–the medical first responders already legendary in the
West but with some interesting corners to their own story–played a
familiar role during the battles. They
are partly funded by the [British] Foreign Office and most of the
local offices were staffed by Douma men.
I
found their wrecked offices not far from Dr Rahaibani’s clinic. A
gas mask had been left outside a food container with one eye-piece
pierced and a pile of dirty military camouflage uniforms lay inside
one room. Planted, I asked myself? I doubt it. The place was heaped
with capsules, broken medical equipment and files, bedding and
mattresses.
Of
course we must hear their side of the story, but it will not happen
here: a
woman told us that every member of the White Helmets in Douma
abandoned their main headquarters and chose to take the
government-organised and Russian-protected buses to the rebel
province of Idlib with the armed groups when the final truce was
agreed.
And
Fisk further narrates the strangeness of some of the reporting now
happening far outside of Douma which flatly contradicts the
testimonies of civilians still inside Douma that he encounters:
How
could it be that Douma refugees who had reached camps in Turkey were
already describing a gas attack which no-one in Douma today seemed to
recall?It
did occur to me, once I was walking for more than a mile through
these wretched prisoner-groined tunnels, that the citizens of Douma
lived so isolated from each other for so long that “news” in our
sense of the word simply had no meaning to them.
Syria
doesn’t cut it as Jeffersonian democracy–as I cynically like to
tell my Arab colleagues–and it is indeed a ruthless dictatorship,
but that couldn’t cow these people, happy to see foreigners among
them, from reacting with a few words of truth.So
what were they telling me?
They
talked about the Islamists under whom they had lived. They talked
about how the armed groups had stolen civilian homes to avoid the
Syrian government and Russian bombing.The
Jaish el-Islam had burned their offices before they left, but the
massive buildings inside the security zones they created had almost
all been sandwiched to the ground by air strikes. A Syrian colonel I
came across behind one of these buildings asked if I wanted to see
how deep the tunnels were. I stopped after well over a mile when he
cryptically observed that “this tunnel might reach as far as
Britain”. Ah yes, Ms May, I remembered, whose air strikes had been
so intimately connected to this place of tunnels and dust. And gas?
For
a prime example of what Fisk references as refugees in Turkey
“already describing a gas attack which no-one in Douma seemed to
recall…” CNN
aired a segment from one such refugee camp which is absolutely
bizarre and stunning in its claims.
began
sniffing a 7-year-old Syrian girl’s backpack while concluding, “I
mean there’s definitely something that stings…” –
with the implication that empirical proof had been found of
government chemical weapons use against the little girl and her
family.
This CNN report by Arwa Damon is an example of what Western governments and media consider evidence that the Syrian govt used chemical weapons in #Douma. In fact it proves nothing. CNN continues to shamelessly promote Jihadist propaganda & western military intervention #Syria
And
in the full
segment,
Damon attempts to subtly introduce the idea of a nerve agent used
against the family (though initial claims were widely reported to be
chlorine) by awkwardly including the account of the girl’s escape
from Douma: “She
could barely breath…she
felt as if her
entire nerves basically released.”
This Syrian girl hid her dolls inside a box, telling them “you’re going to suffocate in here, maybe, but at least you might be safe from the bombings.” CNN reports from inside a refugee camp in Syria hours after a coordinated US-led airstrike hit the area. https://cnn.it/2H2pCLe
Though
it’s unclear what the strange phrasing of “her entire nerves
basically released” actually means, CNN’s
Arwa Damon is ultimately claiming to be able to safely and
comfortably handle and sniff a backpack which contains residual sarin
and chlorine agents,
while simultaneously presenting the backpack as “proof” of a
chemical attack which happened a week prior (to say nothing the
clearly unscientific and bogus nature all of the above).
Notably,
in addition to Fisk’s bombshell report filed from ground zero of
the claimed chemical attack in Douma, cable
network One
America News has
also issued a report from on the ground in the newly liberated town,
finding “no evidence” – in its words – that a chemical attack
took place there.
Robert
Fisk’s report for The
Independent and
the One America News segment constitute
the first major international media reports from the location of the
alleged chemical attack. But
it will be interesting to see the extent to which international
chemical and weapons experts either validate or refute their
conclusions once the site is inspected.
Meanwhile,
the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons
(OPCW) Fact-Finding Mission (FFM) team arrived
in Damascus on Saturday, April 14th – after the
US-led overnight strikes which primarily hit government buildings in
the capital.
In

voor de ‘gifgasaanval’ op Douma, was bekend dat de ‘gematigde

Waar men liegt over
‘Assads chemische wapens’ en daar schande over spreekt, is het
blijkbaar wel normaal dat een stel psychopaten, die bewezen schijt
hebben aan de levens van anderen, daadwerkelijk over deze wapens
beschikken…….
Dit
in ogenschouw genomen, is het artikel van Justin King op The Fifth
Column (door Anti-Media overgenomen) nog cynischer, hierin wordt
verwezen naar een artikel op Reuters van 13 maart jl., waarin het hoofd
van de Russische generale staf, Valery Gerasimov spreekt over de
opzet van de VS een aanval met chemische wapens te laten uitvoeren in
Oost-Ghouta, met de opzet deze in de schoenen van het Syrische bewind te
schuiven. Waarmee uiteraard ook Rusland en Iran, de door de VS
verklaarde vijanden, in een uiterst slecht daglicht zouden komen te
staan……. ‘Geheel toevallig’ waarschuwde in dezelfde tijd hare kwaadaardigheid
Haley (de VS ambassadeur voor de VN) Syrië geen aanval met
chemische wapens uit te voeren……..
Zoals
altijd met dit soort zaken: wie had er baat bij deze gifgasaanval
(als die al heeft plaatsgevonden) en waarom? De zogenaamde gematigde
rebellen stonden al op het punt om Oost-Ghouta uitgeschopt te worden
door het Syrische leger (dus waarom zou dit leger nog chemische
wapens gebruikentegen haar eigen bevolking???). Bij een ‘goed georganiseerde’ false flag
operatie, waarbij Syrië inderdaad de schuld in de schoenen zou worden geschoven (zoals nu is gebeurd), zou de VS een excuus hebben tot ingrijpen, zoals Haley Syrië begin maart al waarschuwde en zouden de kansen voor deze terreurgroepen keren….. Voorts had de
VS legermacht in Syrië belang bij deze aanval, immers de militaire
top wilde niet vertrekken uit Syrië, terwijl Trump al ruim voor de
aanval op Douma stelde dat de VS zich zou terugtrekken uit
Syrië……
Drie
vliegen in 1 klap: A: de terreurgroep in Oost-Ghouta zou kunnen
voorkomen Oost-Ghouta uitgezet te worden. B: voor het voorgaande was
het nodig dat de VS in Syrië zou blijven, om dit voor elkaar te
krijgen. C: Syrië, Rusland en Iran zouden eens te meer als duivelse
machten worden neergezet, een zaak die in het belang is van de VS,
dat niet alleen uiterst agressief bezig is tegen het reguliere
Syrische leger, maar ook tegen Rusland en Iran……
Bovendien
kan hiermee de wens van de VS en Israël vervuld worden tot een Balkanisering van
Syrië, Irak en de rest van het Midden-Oosten (het zou me niet
verbazen als uiteindelijk Egypte ook zal worden opgedeeld), zodat men
makkelijker kan heersen en verdelen. Dat de VS en Israël het liefst
snel Iran aan willen vallen, is al lang geen geheim meer. Over Iran gesproken: waar vorige week amper
over werd bericht was de aanval van Israël op een Iraans steunpunt
in Syrië (een oorlogsmisdaad…), waar Iran legaal aanwezig is, dit op verzoek van het Syrische bewind…..
Nogmaals:
het Syrische leger en de democratisch gekozen president Assad, hadden
totaal geen belang bij een chemisch aanval, immers de strijd was al
zo goed als gewonnen, dat gaf zelfs de VS legertop toe…….
Bovendien heeft Syrië geen chemische wapens in het bezit, deze zijn
onder toezicht van de VN vernietigd, dezelfde VN waarvan de
wapeninspecteurs hebben vastgesteld dat Syrië niet langer beschikt over faciliteiten tot het ontwikkelen en produceren van chemische wapens…… Deze faciliteiten, Syrische
laboratoria en fabrieken waar men deze chemische wapens ontwikkelde
en maakte zijn ontmanteld, ook daar zag de VN op toe…….
Nu
papegaait men in het westen elkaar na en stelt men dat een opslagplaats en
laboratorium voor chemische wapens zijn gebombardeerd door de VS, GB en Frankrijk (zonder bewijs en VN resolutie: een enorme oorlogsmisdaad!) Niet bestaande doelen (althans wat betreft de functie van die gebouwen), maar de false flag operatie
van de VS in samenwerking met de ‘gematigde rebellen’ is geslaagd.
Eén doel is echter mislukt: te zorgen dat de terreurgroep niet uit
Oost-Ghouta werden verdreven……..
Vreemd overigens dat bij die bombardementen, waarbij grote hoeveelheden gifgas moeten zijn vrijgekomen, er geen gifgasslachtoffer is aangetroffen………. (daarover later meer)

Russia Predicted a Fake Chemical Attack, US Response Before It
Happened
(TFC) – Sometimes
bizarre claims by foreign governments are so shocking they are
dismissed and never thought of again. But what happens when the
events predicted occur exactly as described?
A
stub of an article published by Reuters on March 13, 2018, almost a
month before the purported chemical attack in Ghouta, reads:
“Russia
said on Tuesday it had information that the United States planned to
bomb the government quarter in Damascus on an invented pretext, and
said it would respond militarily if it felt Russian lives were
threatened by such an attack.
“Valery
Gerasimov, head of Russia’s General Staff, said Moscow had
information that rebels in the enclave of eastern Ghouta were
planning to fake a chemical weapons attack against civilians and
blame it on the Syrian army.”

The
described attack occurred on April 8, 2018. The West then attacked
Syria.
Terwijl
de reguliere westerse media en de meeste westerse politici hun gal
spuwen over de ‘gifgasaanval’ in het Syrische Douma, zijn er
gelukkig nog een aantal deskundigen die grote vraagtekens zetten bij
het kulverhaal dat een winnend Syrisch leger alsnog haar eigen
bevolking zou hebben vergast…..
Naast
Ron Paul, voormalig lid van het VS Huis van Afgevaardigden, die het
hele verhaal afdoet als nonsens, heeft ook voormalig Britse marine
generaal Alan West grote vraagtekens gezet bij het verhaal over deze
gifgasaanval.
West
noemt het militair totaal onlogisch, terwijl hij stelt dat wanneer
hij de terreurgroepen van advies moest dienen, hij hen zou adviseren
een gifgasaanval op de bevolking uit te voeren, deze groepen hebben
immers al lang aangetoond lak te hebben aan burgerslachtoffers…..
Bij
Sky News vroeg men de voormalige commandant van de Britse
strijdkrachten in Irak, generaal Jonathan Shaw naar de gifgasaanval. Ook hij stelde dat het
onlogisch was voor een winnend leger om gifgas in te zetten, daar het
Syrisch leger in feite de strijd al had gewonnen. Hij gaf daarbij de
woorden weer van generaal Vogel, hoofd van CENTCOM, die voor het VS Congress stelde dat de VS moet accepteren dat het Syrische leger de
strijd heeft gewonnen……
Hij haalde ook Trump aan, die een week eerder had gesteld dat ISIS
overwonnen was en hij de troepen terug wilde roepen, waarna er ‘toevallig’ een chemische aanval plaats vond (vrij vertaald).
Voordat
hij z’n verhaal kon afmaken, werd het gesprek afgekapt, had hij zich maar
aan het script moeten houden, het script dat Assad als dader aanwijst en waarin ‘ongelofelijk genoeg’ het grootste deel van de westerse wereld gelooft, na te zijn gehersenspoeld door de reguliere westerse (massa-) media en het grootste deel van de westerse politici, die maar geen genoeg kunnen krijgen van het spuien van gal over deze ‘gifgasaanval……’
Voorts moet niet vergeten worden dat de ‘gematigde rebellen’ (lees: psychopathische moordenaars, verkrachters en martelbeulen) in het bezit zijn van voorraden gifgas. Algemeen bekend maar geen probleem voor de anti-Assad, anti-Russische en anti-Iraanse propagandisten in het westen (de voornoemde media en politici, aangevuld met ‘deskundige opiniemakers’, allen lobbyisten van het militair-industrieel complex)…….

Narrative

every politician in the world and their mainstream media lackeys are
chomping at the bit to “unleash hell” on Assad and Syria, there
are some that are willing to question the “Assad
chemically attacked his own people and needs to be
punished” narrative.

way the people that perpetuate these false flags [sic] say that Assad
is gassing his own people, at the same time,he’s
winning the war and the people are flocking back in to go to the
territories that he has returned to the government of

nevertheless, he’s out there gassing his own people, which
makes no sense whatsoever and fewer and fewer people are believing
this.”
“This
whole idea that all of a sudden Assad’s gassing his own people, I
think, is total nonsense.”
And RT
spoke about
the Russian claims with Lord
Alan West, a retired officer of the British Royal Navy. He
said he had strong reservations about taking allegations against
Damascus at face value, because it didn’t make much military sense.
“It
seems to be utterly ludicrous for the military that is in the process
of taking over an area to go and do something with chemical weapons,
which will draw the wrath of the larger enemy down upon them,”
he said.
“If
I was advising the opponents of [Syrian President Bashar] Assad, I
would be delighted to kill a few people there. Let’s face it, [the
insurgents] don’t care if they kill women and children.”
“I
am not willing to accept tweets. We need to see incontrovertible
truth about what has happened there and make a decision on that
basis,”
he added.
But,
to confirm the fact that the
propaganda-pushed ‘Assad-is-bad’ narrative is all that is
allowed, when
General Jonathan Shaw, the former Commander of British Armed Forces
in Iraq, dares to go ‘off script’ while being interviewed by Sky
News, he is abruptly cut off…
Here’s
what General Shaw was saying before he was so rudely interrupted…
“…the
debate that seems to be missing from all this –
and this was mentioned by the [Russian] ambassador – is what
possible motive might Syria have to launch a chemical attack at this
time and in this place…
The
Syrians are winning, don’t
take my word for it, take the American military’s word for
it. General
Vogel, the head of CENTCOM, said to Congress the other
day that ‘Assad
has won this war and we need to face that’,
and the tweet by Trump last week that ‘America
had finished with ISIS and were going to pull out very soon’…and
then suddenly you get these accusations of a chemical attack…”
CUT
OFF…
The
message is clear – stick
to the script, or get cut off!

Het
feit dat het Syrische leger de zaak onder controle had en op het punt
stond deze zogenaamde gematigde rebellen (psychopathische
moordenaars, verkrachters en martelbeulen) uit Oost-Ghouta te
verdrijven is al een teken dat deze zogenaamde gifgasaanval al
helemaal niet in het belang was van dat Syrische leger…….
Een ander feit is de aankondiging van Trump dat de VS zich zou terugtrekken uit Syrië, daar IS verslagen zou zijn, zeer tegen de zin van de VS legertop….. (met een gifgasaanval zou Trump z’n mening herzien en dat is dan ook gebeurd…..)
Nog een feit, aanvankelijk bij plaatsing bericht vergeten, maar even later toegevoegd: het feit dat het bekend is dat terreurgroepen in Syrië beschikken over voorraden gifgas, terwijl wapeninspecteurs van de VN hebben vastgesteld dat Syrië geen chemische wapens meer heeft, noch faciliteiten om deze te produceren…….
Rusland
heeft bewijzen dat families die zogenaamd werden behandeld voor een
gifgasaanval, problemen hadden door rookvergiftiging, waar men hen
wijs maakte dat het nodig was hen af te spoelen daar er gifgas zou
zijn gebruikt…… Zoals in het artikel hieronder vermeld: deze
mensen zijn bekend en niet wat anonieme personen die hun verhaal doen
bij de White Helmets, een door GB opgezette groep (mede gefinancierd
door Nederland) die de terreurgroepen in Syrië helpt bij de smerige terreur
die men uitoefent op de bevolking, er zijn zelfs bewijzen dat deze
figuren hebben meegedaan aan moordpartijen…..
De
voornaamste taak van de White Helmets is beeldmateriaal schieten om
het westerse publiek te manipuleren en op te zetten tegen Assad, Rusland en Iran,
uiteraard met ongebreidelde anti-Assad propaganda, waarin veel
kinderen als slachtoffer worden opgevoerd, dit alles daar het westen
en m.n. de VS* de democratisch gekozen regering (en president) Assad wil afzetten…..
De
zaak is goed gelukt, niet wat betreft het afzetten van Assad, maar wel het manipuleren van de westerse bevolking, zie de westerse anti-Assad propaganda
van de laatste week: het grootste deel van die bevolking gelooft zonder meer in de schuld van Assad, hoe
ongeloofwaardig ook…..
Nu
hebben de VS (bezitter van de grootste voorraad chemische wapens op aarde…), GB en Frankrijk doelen in Syrië gebombardeerd, zonder
dat er ook maar een bewijs is voor de schuld van Syrië voor deze
‘gifgasaanval’, de zoveelste false flag operatie, die gelukt
is……. Hoe durft men de wereld naar de rand van een kernoorlog te
brengen op grond van leugens!!!

‘Chemical Attack’ Staged to Provoke US Airstrike, London Pushed

Clearing House” – The Russian Defense Ministry has
presented what it says is proof that the reported chemical weapons
attack in Syria was staged. It also accused the British government of
pressuring the perpetrators to speed up the “provocation.”
During
a briefing on Friday, the ministry showed interviews with two people,
who, it said, are medical professionals working in the only hospital
operating in Douma, a town near the Syrian capital, Damascus.
In
the interviews released to the media, the two men reported how
footage was shot of people dousing each other with water and treating
children, which was claimed to show the aftermath of the April 7
chemical weapons attack. The patients shown in the video suffered
from smoke poisoning and the water was poured on them by their
relatives after a false claim that chemical weapons were used, the
ministry said.
“Please,
notice. These people do not hide their names. These are not some
faceless claims on the social media by anonymous activists. They took
part in taking that footage,” said
ministry spokesman Major-General Igor Konashenkov.
“The
Russian Defense Ministry also has evidence that Britain had a direct
involvement in arranging this provocation in Eastern Ghouta,” the
general added, referring to the neighborhood of which Douma is
part. “We
know for certain that between April 3 and April 6 the so-called White
Helmets were seriously pressured from London to speed up the
provocation that they were preparing.”
According
to Konashenkov, the group, which was a primary source of photos and
footage of the purported chemical attack, was informed of a
large-scale artillery attack on Damascus planned by the Islamist
group Army of Islam, which controlled Douma at the time. The White
Helmets were ordered to arrange the provocation after retaliatory
strikes by the Syrian government forces, which the shelling was
certain to lead to, he said.
The
UK rejected the accusations, with British UN Ambassador Karen Pierce
calling them “grotesque,”
“a blatant lie” and “the
worst piece of fake news we’ve yet seen from the Russian propaganda
machine.”
One
of the interviews published by the ministry showed a man who said his
name was Halil Ajij, and who saidhe
was a medical student working at Douma’s only operational hospital.
This is how he described the origin of the footage:
“On
April 8, a bomb hit a building. The upper floors were damaged and a
fire broke at the lower floors. Victims of that bombing were brought
to us. People from the upper floors had smoke poisoning. We treated
them, based on their suffocation.”
Ajij
said that a man unknown to him came and said there was a chemical
attack and panic ensued. “Relatives
of the victims started dousing each other with water. Other people,
who didn’t seem to have medical training, started administering
anti-asthma medicine to children. We didn’t see any patient with
symptoms of a chemical weapons poisoning,” he
said.
The
first photos claiming to show the aftermath of the alleged chemical
attack on April 7 were published online on the same day, and featured
the bodies of many people, including children, some with foam around
their mouths and noses. Footage from the hospital was released on
Sunday, with the sources behind it claiming that it had been shot on
Saturday.
Konashenkov
said Russia hoped that international monitors from the Organization
for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), which is due to
investigate the circumstances of the incident, will help establish
the truth. He added Eastern Ghouta is currently trying to return to
peaceful life after being liberated from militant groups by Syrian
government forces. He called on other nations and international
organizations to provide humanitarian aid, which is badly needed in
the area. Russia is already supplying food, medicine, building
materials and other essential supplies to the neighborhood, he said.
Residents
of the neighborhood, who previously fled violence, are returning to
their homes now that the area is relatively safe, the Russian
official said. The latest reports from the ground say about 63,000
people have returned, which is over half of the displaced residents,
he added.
The
reported chemical weapons attack escalated tensions over Syria, just
as Damascus was about to seize full control of Eastern Ghouta. The US
and allies such as the UK and France threatened military action in
response to what they claim is an atrocity committed by the Syrian
government. Russia insists the incident was staged and said it
reserves the right to counter any attack on Syria.
RT
spoke about the Russian claims with Lord Alan West, a retired officer
of the British Royal Navy. He said he had strong reservations about
taking allegations against Damascus at face value, because it didn’t
make much military sense.
“It
seems to be utterly ludicrous for the military that is in the process
of taking over an area to go and do something with chemical weapons,
which will draw the wrath of the larger enemy down upon them,” he
said. “If
I was advising the opponents of [Syrian President Bashar] Assad, I
would be delighted to kill a few people there. Let’s face it, [the
insurgents] don’t care if they kill women and children.”
“I
am not willing to accept tweets. We need to see incontrovertible
truth about what has happened there and make a decision on that
basis,”he
added.

Volkomen
terecht, echter als je de landelijke radio nieuws en actualiteiten zenders
van Nederland, België, Duitsland en Groot-Brittannië moet geloven is
er niets aan de hand en hoewel men continu Rusland demoniseert, wordt
er dan plotsklaps wel gezond verstand verwacht van Rusland, in reactie
op de oorlogstaal van de VS n.a.v. de zogenaamde gifgasaanval
op Douma……*
Moet je nagaan: die reguliere media doen voorts niet anders dan Rusland van alle ellende de schuld geven, ook al is daar geen flinter bewijs voor, neem de zogenaamde Russische manipulatie van de VS presidentsverkiezingen, of het hacken van regeringen (zaken waar de VS zich meermaals schuldig aan heeft gemaakt, waar wel bewijzen voor zijn, ook het hacken van vriendschappelijke regeringen zoals die van Duitsland en andere zaken die o.a. terug te vinden zijn in Wikileaks…..)
De verwachting dat Rusland wel haar verstand zal gebruiken, strookt overigens met de werkelijkheid: ga maar eens na
wat er gebeurd zou zijn als een VS jager uit de lucht zou zijn
geschoten door Rusland (Turkije deed dit als NAVO partner, terwijl de
VS op de hoogte was van het Russische vluchtplan), of als Rusland 100 VS
militairen zou hebben gedood (zoals de VS met Russische militaire vrijwilligers in Syrië heeft gedaan)…… De
oorlogsrapen waren overgaar geweest en de VS had wraak genomen,
echter Rusland deed dit niet en bewaarde de kalmte (waarvoor we bij wijze
van spreken god en Putin op onze blote knieën mogen
bedanken)…….
Echter
tegen loze beschuldigingen kan je je niet anders verweren dan de
waarheid te vertellen en je voor te bereiden op oorlog. De VS wordt
keer op keer zwakte verweten, zoals na de grote gifgasaanval in 2013,
die na onderzoek werd toegeschreven aan de ‘gematigde rebellen’ (lees: psychopathische moordenaars, verkrachters en martelbeulen, die
zonder bezwaar van het westen beschikken over voorraden…. gifgas!). Niet voor niets dat Obama niet ingreep, al had hij al helemaal het recht niet zich binnen de (lucht-) grenzen van Syrië te begeven…….
Echter
het is geen zwakte als je je fout inziet (dat willen de reguliere westerse media en de
meeste westerse politici nog steeds niet toegeven!) en niet besluit
om te gaan bombarderen….. Als Rusland in de positie van de VS was
geweest en elke keer de beschuldigingen en volkomen onterechte wraakoefeningen (zoals die na de ‘gifgasaanval’ in Khan Sheikhoun >> de VS aanval met kruisraketten >> een enorme oorlogsmisdaad) over haar kant had laten
gaan, waren hemel en aarde te klein geweest voor de kritiek……
Gelukkig dat we in Rusland te maken hebben met een regering die niet ad hoc reageert, een regering waaraan het westen op heel veel punten een voorbeeld kan

TV Mockingly Tells Citizens to Prepare for Nuclear War With America

how to fill bunkers with shelf-stable foods like rice and sugar.
(COMMONDREAMS) As
President Donald Trump sent mixed messages about his plans for
possible military action in Syria this week, Russian state media
advised citizens to take his warnings from earlier this week to
heart, and prepare for war with the U.S.
On
the country’s state-owned media channel, a news anchor on
Wednesday explained to
viewers how to prepare for a potential war by stocking a bomb
shelter—while images of nuclear explosions were shown behind him.
As Newsweek reports:
Warning
that the potential conflict between the two superpowers would be
“catastrophic,” an anchor for Russia’s Vesti
24 showed
off shelves of food, recommending that people buy salt, oatmeal, and
other products that can last a long time on the shelves if they plan
to hide in a bunker. Powdered milk lasts five years, while sugar and
rice can last up to eight years, the newscaster explained before
showing videos of pasta cooking in a bomb shelter.
The
newscast showed shelf-stable foods that could last five to eight
years—including powdered milk, rice, and sugar—and advised
Russians to buy gas masks and huge supplies of water.
The
anchor took on a mocking tone at times, saying that Americans have
far more to fear than Russians.
“The
real panic isn’t here but across the ocean,” said the reporter,
adding that the instructions to stock bunkers were for “people who
succumb to panic and decide to spend all their savings.”
Watch:
Trump
warned he was considering military
action against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad this week, after he
accused Assad—who Russia has defended in the country’s civil war
over the last seven years—of attacking the town of Douma with
poison gas last weekend.
A
navy destroyer armed with Tomahawk missiles embarked from
Cyrus on Monday, leading to fears that Trump would impulsively launch
an attack on the war-torn country—while anti-war
advocates urged Trump
to allow the U.N. to investigate the chemical attack before taking
action.
In
response to Trump’s threats, Russia quickly said it
wouldshoot down any U.S. missiles and possibly target U.S. launch
sites as well, leading international affairs and military experts to
warn that the U.S. would stand little chance of defeating Russia’s
defenses—and that an escalation could ultimately lead to a
nuclear exchange.
“There
is a major war scare here in Moscow. Russia is expecting a U.S.
strike in Syria. The Russian chief of military Valery Gerasimov
promised a response against U.S. platforms launching missiles,”
Ariel Cohen, a senior fellow at the Atlantic Council, told Newsweek.
“The U.S. needs to keep in mind not only the adversarial position
of Russia, which of course is the case, but the Russian nuclear
potential… An escalation in Syria that affects Russia may lead to a
military conflict with Russia, which has an escalation trajectory
towards a nuclear war.”
Meanwhile,
Murtaza Mohammad Hussain at the Intercept argued
that while Trump’s threats could carry the danger of war, the
majority of those who will suffer in a conflict between the U.S. and
Russia are likely neither American nor Russian—but Middle Eastern.
I don’t really buy the idea that Russia & the U.S. are at risk of WW3 or nuclear war over any of their disputes. Imperial powers are happy to compete in carving up the rest of the world, but the only blood they’re really willing to spill en masse is that of third world people.
If there is a great power conflict, the escalation will happen by both sides bombing Syrians more, maybe throwing in some Iraqis, Iranians and Lebanese depending on how bad things get. No one in Russia or America needs to worry about any “WW3” that would affect them directly.
Ben het overigens in het geheel niet eens met de Twitterberichten van Martuza Mohammad Hussain, hij vergeet even dat Rusland op verzoek van de legitieme, democratisch gekozen regering van Syrië in dat land aanwezig is…… De ‘opstand in Syrië’ was een door de VS georganiseerde zaak, met behulp van een aantal andere landen waaronder Groot-Brittannië, Saoedi-Arabië, Turkije en Egypte. Deze opstand werd al vanaf 2006 voorbereid…… Syrië werd vanaf het begin van de opstand (‘arabische lente..’) onmiddellijk gedemoniseerd, terwijl buitenlandse jihadstrijders de Syrische demonstranten (waaronder vooral veel buitenlanders) letterlijk onder vuur namen, zodat Assad de schuld kreeg…….. (de zoveelste false flag operatie) Doordat Syrië ten onder dreigde te gaan en Assad Putin te hulp riep, is Rusland zoals gezegd aanwezig in dat land, waarmee Rusland al decennia lang goede betrekkingen onderhield………. Tot slot wat betreft dit commentaar van Hussain en dan zijn stelling dat we in het westen niet bang hoeven te zijn voor WOIII: dat is maar zeer de vraag, als Rusland als vergelding voor de aanval van afgelopen nacht een VS marineschip torpedeert dan wel bombardeert, vrees ik dat we binnen de kortste keren wel degelijk in WOIII zullen belanden en zoals deze aanduiding al aangeeft, een wereldoorlog treft de hele wereld, dus ook het westen……
