mainstream media is reporting what is arguably the single dumbest
Russiavape story of all time, against some very stiff competition.

hackers are targeting health care organizations in the West in an

“Hackers
backed by the Russian state are trying to steal COVID-19 vaccine and
treatment research from academic and pharmaceutical institutions
around the world, Britain’s National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC)
said on Thursday,” Reuters
reports.

“Russian
news agency RIA cited spokesman Dmitry Peskov as saying the Kremlin
rejected London’s allegations, which he said were not backed by
proper evidence,” adds Reuters.

I
mean, there are just so many layers of stupid.

First
of all, how many more completely unsubstantiated government agency
allegations about Russian nefariousness are we the public going to
accept from the corporate mass media? Since 2016 it’s been
wall-to-wall narrative about evil things Russia is doing to the
empire-like cluster of allies loosely centralized around the United
States, and they all just happen to be things nobody can actually
provide the public with hard verifiable evidence of.

Ever
since the shady
cybersecurity firm Crowdstrike admitted
that it never actually saw hard proof
of Russia hacking the DNC servers, the already
shaky and always unsubstantiated
narrative that Russian hackers interfered in the US presidential
election in 2016 has been on thinner ice than ever. Yet because the
mass media converged on this narrative and repeated
it as fact
over and over again they’ve been able to get the mainstream
headline-skimming public to accept it as an established truth,
priming them for an increasingly idiotic litany of completely
unsubstantiated Russia scandals, culminating most recently in the
entirely
debunked claim
that Russia paid Taliban-linked fighters to kill coalition forces in
Afghanistan.

Secondly,
the news story doesn’t even claim that these supposed Russian hackers
even succeeded in doing whatever they were supposed to have been
doing in this supposed cyberattack.

“Officials
have not commented on whether the attacks were successful but also
have not ruled out that this is the case,” Wired
reports.

Thirdly,
this is a “vaccine” which does not even exist at this point
in time, and the research which was supposedly hacked may never lead
to one. Meanwhile, Sechenov First Moscow State Medical
University reports
that it has “successfully completed tests on volunteers of the
world’s first vaccine against coronavirus,” in Russia.

Fourthly,
and perhaps most importantly, how
obnoxious and idiotic is it that coronavirus vaccine “secrets”
are a even a thing??? This
is a global pandemic which is hurting all of us; scientists should be
free to collaborate with other scientists anywhere in the world to
find a solution to this problem. Nobody has any business keeping
“secrets” from the world about this virus or any possible
vaccine or treatment. If they do, anyone in the world is well within
their rights to pry those secrets away from them.

Children
arrive in this world unthinking and empty-headed, like idiots. We
have to teach them how to be smart and knowledgeable thinkers like
us.

A
small child can run around and play happily with a stick or a leaf,
because children are stupid and they don’t yet know how to stare at
their phones tensely waiting for a stranger on social media to
respond to your clever comment telling them why their opinion is
wrong.

Children
are too naive to know anything about opinions and ideas. They need us
to teach them how to move their interest and attention away from the
things that are happening around them and focus instead upon the
thoughts in their heads, until the outer world loses its color and
they can live without distraction in the inner world of mental noise.

Grown-ups
are much better and smarter than children, because we know all the
different words for things, and we also know the opposites of those
words, and we also know how to make the words and their opposites
fight with each other in our heads while we push salty starchfat into
our mouths and watch talk shows.

Children
don’t even know anything about politics. They are too small and
simplistic to understand that we live in a country that is run by a
Good Party and a Bad Party, and the Bad Party does bad things and the
Good Party also does bad things but only because the Bad Party made
them do it.

We
have to teach children about the Good Party and the Bad Party, and
teach them how to hate the Bad Party because they don’t yet know that
there are different kinds of people and that you’re supposed to hate
some of them. Children don’t even know how to hate until we teach
them, that’s how stupid they are.

When
you try to teach children about war they always cry like little
bitches. Like pansies. They act like sending large groups of people
in our country to go kill other groups of people in another country
is crazy and disordered, when obviously it is they who are crazy and
disordered. We need to teach children how to be sane and normal by
any means necessary, including hitting them.

One
time my child wanted some food and I told him we don’t have enough
money for food, and he said we should just go to the “money
making machine” and get some money. He was talking about an ATM,
the imbecile. I laughed in his face. I laughed and laughed and
laughed because he didn’t understand how money works. I tried to
teach him how people don’t get to eat unless they have the right kind
of numbers in their bank accounts, but he kept looking at me like I
was saying something strange. Then we just laid around thinking about
how hungry we were until we fell asleep.

It’s
hard work being a parent. You get this weird little baby critter who
doesn’t know how to do anything, and then you have to spend years of
your life teaching them how to think, how to want, how to hate, how
to fight, how to take, and how to stop sitting around all blissed out
like a dumbass stoner all the time. You have to teach them and
shape them so that they can take part in this wonderful society that
we grown-ups built for them, and they don’t even understand what a
gift you’re giving them, they just cry about it like ungrateful
little jerks.

In
the end though it’s just what you’ve got to do in order to mold
children into smart and sensible grown-ups, like us.

marionet die wordt bespeeld door een team van poppenspelers dat hem ‘terzijde staat’. Dat team heeft
uit naam van Biden laten weten dat oorlogsmisdadiger Trump veel te slap
optreedt als het gaat om de buitenlandpolitiek van de VS…… Ofwel:
ondanks dat Trump de wereld al een paar keer op de rand van de totale
vernietiging bracht (Derde Wereldoorlog), denken de puppeteers van Biden dat Trump
door had moeten pakken…….

Zo heeft
Bidens team al laten weten dat wanneer Trump Venezuela niet (militair) aanpakt, Biden dit als president zeker wel zal doen…… Moet je
nagaan: door de illegale sancties van de Trump administratie tegen Venezuela (gesteund
door Canada en de EU, en dus ook uit onze naam) zijn er in dat land
al bijna 50.000 mensen om het leven gekomen, anders gezegd: deze mensen zijn in feite vermoord met die sancties >> niet genoeg voor
het team van Biden dat er nog een fikse schep bovenop wil doen (en
reken maar dat het team van Biden een aanval op Venezuela wenst….)….

Het voorgaande terwijl een grote meerderheid van de Venezolanen tegen interventies van de VS is, inclusief de opgelegde illegale sancties van de VS…….

former vice president will be doing no such thing if elected

I will stand with the Venezuelan people and for democracy.”

“Translation:
if Trump retreats from his current policy of trying to sanction and
suffocate Venezuelan into submission, Biden will make sure to revive

be clear, Joe Biden is now attacking Donald Trump from the right on
Venezuela,” said

FAIR.org’s Alan MacLeod accurately observed
last year,
this phrase “the Venezuelan people” is only ever invoked by
the political/media class of the US-centralized empire for
sloganeering purposes in support of US-led regime change
interventionism in that nation, despite an overwhelming
majority of Venezuelans
opposing all US interventionism including sanctions.

This
tactic of attacking Donald Trump for being insufficiently warlike is
nothing new for Biden Inc, nor is it limited to Venezuela.

During
the primary debates Biden attacked Trump for being insufficiently
hawkish toward North Korea,
claiming the president was wrong to meet with Kim Jong Un because it
gives the leader “legitimacy”, whatever that means.

An
April
Biden campaign ad accused
the president of being too soft on China by failing to force
Beijing to allow US government officials into Wuhan to monitor the
governing of a sovereign nation during a pandemic outbreak.

“Trump
praised the Chinese 15 times in January and February as the
coronavirus spread across the world,” says the ad’s narrator in
an ominous voice. “Trump never got a CDC team on the ground in
China. And the travel ban he brags about? Trump let in 40,000
travelers from China into America after he signed it. Not exactly
airtight.”

has attacked Trump’s partial troop withdrawal from Syria, using
talking points from the so-called war on terror to absurdly claim
during a primary debate
that the president is putting America at risk of a terrorist strike
from ISIS.

going to damage the United States of America. That’s why we got
involved in the first place.”

And
of course Biden & Co have been attacking Trump for being too soft

This
line of attack is so ubiquitous in the Biden campaign that it

unwillingness to be more warlike, with an

reading simply “Donald Trump says he’s a wartime president —
it’s time for him to act like one.”

second-to-last thing the world needs is political pressure placed on
Donald fucking Trump to be more warlike. The very last thing the
world needs is a US president who ends up being even more warlike
than Trump.

America
is a war machine on top of a police state on top of a mass media
psyop. Only people who are willing to keep these psychopathic
mechanisms in place are permitted to ascend to presidential
candidacy. While all the news cameras focus on the relatively minor
differences between presidents and presidential candidates, you can
learn a lot more about America and what drives it by looking at their
similarities.

Politie VS infiltreert protesten n.a.v. de dood van George Floyd en zet aan tot geweld

Niets
nieuws, het feit dat de politie en de FBI in de VS infiltreren in
groepen die zich verzetten tegen onrecht, al zo oud en zelfs nog
ouder dan het Counter Intelligence Program ofwel COINTELPRO. Dit is een FBI
programma dat tussen 1956 en 1971 werd gebruikt om groepen in de VS
die zich tegen onrecht verzetten, in diskrediet te brengen en de
activisten tegen elkaar op te zetten, plus een aantal andere smerige
acties……

Nu
blijkt weer dat ook tijdens de rellen n.a.v. de politiemoord op
George Floyd, FBI/politie infiltranten bezig zijn om de mensen aan te
zetten tot geweld, zodat men een legitimatie heeft om bijvoorbeeld op de
demonstranten te kunnen schieten en de aandacht af te leiden van waar het echt om gaat: de zoveelste in een onafzichtelijke rij politemoorden op gekleurde mensen…… Eén en ander is te vergelijken met de false flag
acties van de VS in het buitenland, zoals die tegen Noord-Vietnam,
waardoor de VS zogenaamd legaal een oorlog kon beginnen tegen dat
land…. Ook in Syrië vonden meerdere VS false flag acties plaats,
terreurgroepen die onder regie van de CIA gifgasaanvallen uitvoerden
om deze in de schoenen van Assad te schuiven…….

De VS:
het land van de ongekende mogelijkheden, waar gekleurden minstens 30% minder verdienen dan de witten die hetzelfde werk doen…….(ook een reden voor het plunderen van winkels)

Op BBC
World Service durfde men zaterdagmiddag na 15.00 u. te zeggen dat de
protesten en vernielingen ‘spontaan’ plaatsvinden……. ‘Spontaan’ na de zoveelste politemoord op een gekleurde…… Erger me ook enorm aan de zogenaamd onafhankelijke NOS dat in haar nieuwsberichten continu spreekt over de dood van een gekleurde tijdens een arrestatie, terwijl het bij wijze van spreken voor een kind duidelijk is dat het hier om een (politie-) moord gaat……

Is Certain But Death, Taxes, And Police Infiltration Of US Protests

A
video
has been circulating of
a white man casually smashing the windows of a Minneapolis shop with
a hammer during protests against the police murder of George Floyd.
The man is clearly trying to hide his identity by wearing a gas mask,
carrying a large umbrella, and wearing full-length black clothing.

Protesters
can be seen intervening to stop his destructive behavior in the
video.

“Are
you a fucking cop?” one asks.

An
officer with the Saint Paul Police Department has
been publicly named
by someone identified as the officer’s ex-wife, who
said
his voice, walk and gas mask made her “90% sure” it was
him. The Saint Paul Police Department has
denied this.

Maybe
it is, maybe it isn’t, but it is a very safe bet that it’s a law
enforcement officer of some kind. Disruptive police infiltration of
protest movements is a historical constant in America, after all. It
is the norm, not the exception.

Protests
have
spread throughout the United States since
that video’s emergence.

Journalist
Max Blumenthal has uploaded a very
interesting video
of an encounter he had with an undercover cop posing as a protester
in Washington, DC.

Look

Blumenthal
began following a man he
reports
he’d spotted coming out of an unmarked vehicle in an area that had
been completely sealed off by marked police cars, meaning the police
were restricting who came and went from that area. Blumenthal began
questioning the man, asking him if he’d been to the protests and if
he was a cop. The man said he’d been to the protests but denied he
was a cop, saying that he worked with CNN.

Blumenthal
then went to the unmarked vehicle the man had come from, where two
more men were seated. He asked them if they were cops, which they
denied, then asked if they were with CNN, which they also denied,
saying they were “just hanging out”. Blumenthal informed
them that he’d just caught the fake protester in a lie, at which
point they rolled up the car window.

Local
outlet KHOU 11 News was told by the Houston police department that
protests over George Floyd’s murder would be attended by both
“uniformed officers and plain-clothed officers”. This
admission cannot be found in KHOU’s reporting any longer, but it has
been screenshotted
and still shows
up on Google searches
as of this writing.

In
New York, protesters have conclusively
worked out
that cops posing as demonstrators are currently wearing
white armbands
to identify each other. Ways of identifying
plain-clothes cops
are being
circulated
by protesters on social
media.

None
of these people are paranoid or irrational. For generations it has
been a well-established fact that police will reliably infiltrate
protests and political movements, and it remains
so to this day.

infiltration campaign
to “expose, disrupt, misdirect, discredit, or otherwise
Neutralize” dissident political movements, all the way up to
infiltration and espionage targeting
Black Lives Matter
and Occupy
protesters,
police infiltration of American protests has been as certain as death
and taxes.

A
2012 Truthdig
article by Kevin Zeese and Margaret Flowers titled “Infiltration
of Political Movements Is the Norm in America”
goes into this time-honored tradition at some length. Here’s an
excerpt [bold font mine]:

How
many agents or infiltrators can we expect to see inside a movement?
One of the most notorious “police riots” was at the 1968
Democratic National Convention. Independent journalist Yasha
Levine writes:
“During the 1968 protests of the Democratic National Convention in
Chicago, which drew about 10,000 protesters and was brutally crushed
by the police, 1
out of 6 protesters was a federal undercover agent.
That’s right, 1/6th of the total protesting population was made up
of spooks drawn from various federal agencies. That’s roughly 1,600
people! The stat came from an Army document obtained by CBS News in
1978, a full decade after the protest took place.

According
to CBS, the infiltrators were not passive observers, monitoring and
relaying information to central command, but were involved in violent
confrontations with the police.”

Peter
Camejo, who ran as a Socialist Workers Party candidate for president
in 1976, as a Green Party candidate for governor of California in
2003 and as Ralph Nader’s vice presidential running mate in 2004,
often told
of infiltration in
his mid-’70s presidential campaign. After campaign offices were
burglarized, Camejo was able to get the FBI into court by suing it
over COINTELPRO activities. The judge asked the FBI special agent in
charge how many FBI agents had worked in Camejo’s presidential
campaign; the answer was 66.

Camejo
estimated he had a campaign staff of 400 across the country. Once
again that would be an infiltration rate of about one in six.
Camejo discovered that among the agents was his campaign co-chair. He
also discovered eavesdropping equipment in a campaign office and
documents showing the FBI had followed him since he was an
18-year-old student activist.

One
in six. That’s a whole lot.

This
is important for all of us to be aware of, not just the people
attending these protests.

Any
time we are told a protester threw this or rioters set fire that, we
must take this information with a very large grain of salt, because
we usually won’t be able to know it wasn’t an undercover cop acting
as an agent
provocateur to
shape a narrative and justify more use of force to disperse the
crowd. The idiot with the umbrella did it in a very ham-fisted and
obvious way, and we can expect other police infiltrators to be more
clever about it as well.

This
is not to say none of the anger we’ve seen exhibited at these
protests is real and grassroots; people have a lot to be angry about,
and surely much of the destruction we’re seeing is the organic result
of way too many people being pushed way too far by a cruel and
abusive system. It’s just to say that we should all be as skeptical
as we would be when dealing with any other narratives we know
powerful factions have a vested interest in manipulating, and not
treat any claim about protester behavior as a certain fact.

The
powerful few are afraid of the many. Always have been, always will
be. And there’s nothing they and their goon squad won’t do to try and
rein in any group which poses a threat to their power if they can get
away with it.

Na de
moord door politieagent Derek Chauvin op George Floyd, sloeg de vlam
weer eens in de pan: beelden uit Minneapolis en andere steden in de VS laten ten overvloede nog
eens de woede zien van gekleurde mensen die als vuil worden behandeld
door de politie in de VS, die jaarlijks een fiks aantal gekleurde mensen
vermoorden, waar de daders NB ook nog eens voor het overgrote deel
mee wegkomen…..

Op 23
februari dit jaar werd Ahmaud Marquez Arbery door een ex-agent en
diens zoon doodgeschoten, alleen omdat hij bezig was met joggen en
dat was in de ogen van deze twee fascistische racisten het teken dat
hij wel een misdadiger moest zijn, immers de man was gekleurd en
hardlopend…… Deze twee fascisten kwamen er in eerste instantie
ook nog mee weg, ‘logisch’ immers het zijn witten en die staan nu
eenmaal bovenaan de ladder, terwijl gekleurde VS burgers niet eens op die
ladder mogen staan….

Afgelopen maart was het de beurt aan Breonna Taylor die in Louisville woonde, zij werd in haar huis doodgeschoten, ofwel vermoord door 3 politiemannen…… Pas deze maand heeft de FBI aangekondigd een onafhankelijk onderzoek in te stellen naar de moord op Taylor…. Lachen past hier niet, anders zou je je daadwerkelijk kapot lachen…… De FBI in combinatie met een onafhankelijk onderzoek is een gotspe!!

De hiervoor opgesomde moorden zijn nog maar het spreekwoordelijke topje van de ijsberg……

Veel reguliere mediaorganen in de VS klagen vooral over de woede van de gekleurden na de zoveelste politiemoord op een gekleurd persoon, zelfs een eerder als alternatief bekend staand mediaorgaan als Zero Hedge laat vooral de vernielingen zien en laat als klap op de vuurpijl ronduit racistisch en fascistisch commentaar van lezers onder het bericht staan……..

Johnstone schreef een artikel na de moord op Floyd, ze analyseert de
maatschappij waarin dergelijke moorden als ‘normaal’
worden gezien door de witten en….. de gekleurden….. Waarbij
opgemerkt dient te worden dat de gekleurden dit wel als een ‘normale
gang van zaken’ zien, echter doordat het in de VS schering en inslag is wat betreft moorrddadig politieoptreden tegen gekleurde mensen, maar waar deze bevolkingsgroep letterlijk doodziek van
wordt, we leven immers niet in 1720 maar in 2020…. Het is dan ook allesbehalve vreemd dat de woede van deze mensen telkens weer uit de hand loopt….

Johnstone
wijst niet alleen naar de VS waar dergelijk geweld mogelijk is, maar
ook naar haar ‘moederland’ Australië, waarover ze volkomen terecht
stelt dat dit een door de witten gestolen land is en dat over stromen
aan bloed van de oorspronkelijke bewoners, ofwel eenzelfde scenario
als in de VS en de rest van de 3 Amerika’s……..

Je zou
denken dat het hier wel heel anders aan toegaat en het politiegeweld dat
hier wordt gebruikt tegen minderheden, kan niet in de schaduw staan
van wat er in de VS gebeurt. Hoewel: ook wij kennen uiterst
gewelddadig politieoptreden, neem de moord op Mitch
Henriquez….. Henriquez werd zoals Floyd door een politieagent
vermoord middels de nekklem, terwijl zo’n 4 andere agenten bovenop
het slachtoffer zaten….. De man moet al bijna dood zijn geweest
toen men hem in een politiebus sleurde, i.p.v. een ambulance te
bellen….. Henriquez moet zijn overleden in die politiebus…… Kortom alle betrokken agenten zijn schuldig aan de moord
op Henriquez…… Uiteindelijk
werd één agent veroordeeld tot een voorwaardelijke gevangenisstraf
van 6 maanden (….) en een jaar ontzegging van de uitoefening van zijn beroep…… ‘Gerechtigheid’ anno
2019……. GGGVD!!!

De
politie in Nederland is bij herhaling betrapt op etnisch profileren
en toch is er niets veranderd, het gebeurt nog steeds…… Zo zag ik in
het begin van de ‘intelligente lockdown’ een paar agenten een
gekleurde man apart nemen, terwijl hij zijn fiets op slot wilde
zetten, hij werd tegen de muur gezet waarna de twee hem aan de tand
voelden over de fiets en waar hij deze gekocht had…. Let wel: de
man zag er bepaald niet uit als een verslaafde die fietsen steelt,
mooie kleding, alleen wel een heel grote bos met haar en kijk dat is
al uiterst verdacht: een gekleurde die een in de ogen van de agenten
een dure fiets op slot zet en dan ook nog eens een gekleurde man met een afrokapsel >>
‘uitermate verdacht, zoals je begrijpt….’ Gelukkig lieten de
agenten de man vrij snel gaan, maar als witte sta je wel verbluft toe
te kijken, walgelijk!!!

‘Militairen op de straten van Washington: VS op weg naar een burgeroorlog‘

You’ve
probably already seen the
footage
of a white police officer named Derek Chauvin cheerfully suffocating
a black man named George Floyd to death with his knee while Floyd
pleaded for his life. This went viral around the same time as another
viral video
where a white woman in Central Park called New York police on a black
man who posed no threat to her while making sure to inform the police
that he was black, and just weeks after video
footage surfaced
of a black man named Ahmaud Arbery being shot to death by a
white former cop and his son while out for a jog.

So
race is on everyone’s mind, and rightly so. And whether we’re honest
with ourselves or we throw a bunch of verbiage at it to try and
compartmentalize away from it, white people are all aware when we
watch George Floyd being torturously murdered that there’s no way it
could have been us on the business end of that knee. Not because of
our impeccable manners or our sparkling personality, but because our
skin is a certain color.

And
whether we choose to directly acknowledge this reality or not, we’re
going to experience discomfort on some level. And mainly what I want
to say here is, that’s okay.

It
can be tempting to try and distance ourselves from this discomfort by
making it about individuals: that individual cop was a bad, bad man
and I would never do such a thing, and I didn’t, so I have no
accountability here. And of course it’s true that you were not
personally directly responsible for George Floyd’s actual murder, but
white people who urgently advance that truism are only ever doing so
to avoid confronting the more uncomfortable reality that they live in
and benefit from a society which guarantees that they will never be
on the receiving end of such brutality.

White
people have a lot of unprocessed feelings about racism, their role in
it and the extent to which they’ve benefited from it, both in America
and here in Australia, where the bright sun on my pale skin is a
constant reminder to me that I am an alien on stolen land.

Those
unprocessed feelings will probably express themselves in angry
vituperative comments on this essay by white people who are afraid of
simply feeling their feelings and getting real with themselves,
because this is uncomfortable, confrontational stuff.

“Identity
politics!” is an objection I often get when I try to talk about
the reality of racial power dynamics in our society, probably because
I have a lot of readers who follow me because of my criticisms of the
Democratic Party which often cynically exploits race and racism to
advance political agendas.

But
this isn’t identity politics; it’s not about politics at all. This is
about healing, and being real with ourselves.

“Bah,
white guilt!” is another common objection. “You just want
us to feel guilty! How does white people feeling all guilty help fix
racism??”

They
always talk about guilt. Guilt, guilt, guilt, guilt, guilt. I never
brought guilt up, but that’s what they argue against. Which is of
course very telling.

Obviously
guilt in and of itself is not the objective here. Nobody’s claiming
that the world’s racial wounds would be healed if white people just
went around feeling guilty all the time; that’s a vapid strawman that
is advanced by white people who don’t want to viscerally grapple with
the reality of the advantages their whiteness brings them.

But
also, why such a fearful, defensive response to the possibility of
experiencing guilt?

Why
treat guilt like it’s made of molten lava? Guilt is just a feeling;
it won’t hurt you. You just feel it, listen to what it has to say,
and then once it’s been felt all the way through it subsides. There’s
no need to fear it, and it’s not legitimate to reject ideas on the
basis that they might cause you to experience it.

It’s
not about guilt, it’s about consciousness and curiosity.
Consciousness of the way racial power dynamics play out in our own
lives, and curiosity about the experience of other races in our
society.

White
people are averse to emotionally processing the reality of their
privilege for the same reason rich people aggressively insist they
worked hard for every penny they have even though they know they
received way more opportunities and advantages than the average
person ever sees. Life is hard and abrasive for everyone, even for
white people and even for rich people, so acknowledging you’ve
received a head start in some way over other people can be one more
thing in your mind telling you you’re deficient, in addition to your
father’s voice and your first love rejecting you and all the other
painful inadequacy stories you’ve got circling through your
consciousness.

White
privilege doesn’t mean white people don’t suffer or that some white
people don’t have it harder overall than some black people. All it
means is that having white skin is an advantage, and that all other
factors being equal a white person will have an easier time in our
society than a person of color. And that this is because our society
has been shaped by white supremacy for many generations, leaving many
remaining effects.

Healing
can’t happen without consciousness. Healing our society’s racial
wounds won’t happen as long as white people are compartmentalizing
away from the reality that our lives have been easier than they would
otherwise have been if we’d been born a different race, and that this
is because our ancestors killed, enslaved, exploited and oppressed
people who didn’t look like them for many generations before we got
here. That while we didn’t personally cause this dynamic, we are
interwoven into its tapestry and we have risen above others because
of it.

And
to be honest, if you really determine to get real with yourself and
make your white privilege conscious, you will
experience guilt at some point. It’s an inescapable part of the
journey if you’re being really sincere and getting really curious
about what life is like for people of different races in our society.
And that’s okay. Guilt is not dangerous; you just feel through it and
continue on your journey. It’s not the final destination in the
journey, but it’s a river that you will cross along the way.

There
are all sorts of conscious and unconscious ways that white people
defensively protect a racist system, even when they don’t think of
themselves as racist. You can witness these dynamics in a more overt
form by simply scrolling through the comments on any of the videos
linked here, full of white people arguing in various ways that this
isn’t the atrocious thing that people are making it out to be. (Hint:
if the only time you talk about racism is to yell at people that
something isn’t racist, then you’re protecting racism.) They can
happen in much subtler ways as well, throughout all aspects of our
life, and it’s only by making them conscious and feeling the feelings
that brings up until they are fully felt that these subconscious
white supremacy-supporting mental habits can be noticed and uprooted.

My
ancestors came to Australia as prisoners, and some almost certainly
would have played some role in the genocide against the people who’d
been living here for more than 65,000 years before them. And now I
live in a society that is dominated by whiteness, and I’ve benefited
from that. I’ve never had cause to fear for my life in the presence
of a police officer, in fact I’ve never hesitated to call them if
I’ve needed their help. I had an easy youth because my parents came
from the race that has been favored by generations of white
supremacist policies in Australia. Media I consumed growing up
consistently featured people who were the same color as me,
consistently feeding me through my formative years the message that I
can accomplish anything I want in life. I’ve gotten jobs because I
understand the subtleties of white culture enough to know how to
speak and dress for different interviews, and because I had many
white contacts (it’s not what you know, it’s who you know). There are
people who pay attention to my words today who wouldn’t give them as
much respect if they appeared next to a profile picture with dark
skin. There are many other advantages I’ve had that I can’t even know
about, since I’ve never lived a day in brown skin.

This
is a reality I need to feel into and make conscious if I’m to play my
part in our society’s healing of its racial woundedness. And yeah it
can bring up uncomfortable emotions. Being white is weird, man. If we
live in Australia or North America we’re acutely aware that we’re
disconnected from our ancestral roots, but if we go to visit Europe
that feels weird and not at all like home too. We walk through the
land surrounded by the ghosts of its previous inhabitants, aware that
they had a deep connection to it and that we do not. We’re always
reaching for culture because we sense intuitively that that’s
something people are meant to have, but everything we grasp fails to
satisfy in any meaningful way. We’re aware on some level that we have
it better than other races, but we also know that life has been cruel
and abrasive to us too, and we don’t know how to solve all the
problems which white supremacy has caused.

And
if we’re honest with ourselves, it brings up a lot of feels. And it’s
okay that it does. It’s good that it does. These feelings need to be
felt. Really diving down the rabbit hole of racism and our role in it
will move mountains inside you that you didn’t even know were there,
and there will be some deep, deep emotions underneath them which will
bring burning shame, and big tears. Those tears need to come out
though. They’re what’s standing between you and true healing.

And
when you have processed through that journey, you will no longer have
in you the defensiveness about your own white privilege, and any
parts of you which were unconsciously defending and protecting white
supremacy in that way will have been purged from your system. And you
will be in that respect a much more real and authentic human being,
with a much more real and authentic relationship with the world. And
the world will feel much more like home to you.

VS demonisering van China: het doel daarvan o.a. het wegpoetsen van blunders op Coronadossier

De Trump
administratie doet niet anders dan China demoniseren met leugens en
beschuldigingen waarvan het doel wat mij betreft duidelijk is: China manipuleren, nog meer dan Trump met de handelsoorlog tegen dit land al heeft
gedaan. Uiteraard is e.e.a. ook bedoeld om de totale chaos te verbergen van de
Trump administratie wat betreft het beleid op het Coronavirus…..

Waar
Trump China eerder de hemel in heeft geprezen wat betreft de aanpak
op het Coronavirus, heeft hij die uitspraken (veelal gedaan op
Twitter) omgeruild voor het demoniseren van China, waarbij hij de
Coronavirus uitbraak in de VS de grootste aanval ooit op de VS heeft
genoemd…. Tel bij het voorgaande Trumps uitspraak op dat China en
alleen China verantwoordelijk is voor de uitbraak van het virus in de
VS en je kan concluderen dat Trump China beschuldigt als het land dat
de grootste aanval ooit op de VS heeft gepleegd, een niet alleen
volkomen gestoorde redenering maar ook een uiterst gevaarlijke
uitspraak…….

En zie wat Trump in 2009 over het handelen op een ‘pandemie’ door Obama durfde te zeggen:

De VS
heeft niet alleen een groot aantal militaire bases rond de (noord- en zuid-)
oostelijke grenzen van China, maar vaart ook af en aan met haar
marine door gebieden die China terecht tot haar territoriale
wateren rekent, zoals een flink deel van de Zuid-Chinese Zee….. Dit alles bij elkaar opgeteld is een door de VS geplaatst kruitvat
waarin alleen de lont nog moet worden aangestoken door Trump……

Johnstone ziet echter meer zaken die de gewone sterveling amper op
zullen vallen, zeker daar de reguliere westerse media een groot
aantal zaken verzwijgen, dit in een voortdurende anti-Chinese
campagne, waarbij ze vooral wijst op haar land Australië, het land
waarin Rupert Murdoch de grootste media in handen heeft en waar deze,
zoals andere westerse media, maar al te graag China demoniseert
vanwege haar ‘imperialisme’, waar juist de VS het voorbeeld is van
ongebreideld imperialisme, sterker nog: de VS kan niet anders worden
beoordeeld dan als het Vierde Rijk, met maar liefst meer dan 800 militaire bases over de wereld……

Het
Vierde Rijk dat volgens Johnstone (die niet spreekt over het Vierde
Rijk) alle landen absorbeert die achter haar imperialisme staan, dan
wel landen absorbeert die geen andere keus zien dan de VS maar te
steunen om erger te voorkomen….. ‘Erger’ zoals sancties die de VS
illegaal heeft ingesteld tegen landen die niet wensen te worden
geabsorbeerd door deze uiterst gevaarlijke terreurentiteit, sancties
die bijvoorbeeld in Venezuela al aan bijna 50.000 mensen het leven
hebben gekost, sancties die een economische oorlog vormen en derhalve
als grootschalige terreur moeten worden veroordeeld, sterker nog die illegale sancties vallen zonder meer onder het begrip: misdaad tegen de menselijkheid!!

Johnstone
stelt dat we in een Derde Wereldoorlog zijn beland die zich op ‘slow
motion’ voltrekt, waarbij de westerse reguliere media de grote
propagandisten zijn van deze oorlog….. Landen die het slachtoffer
zijn van deze oorlog: China, Rusland, Iran, Syrië en Venezuela,
hebben zo bezien weinig gemeen, echter ze vormen wel degelijk het
doel van die oorlog: deze landen vernietigen en absorberen, waarbij
de westerse propagandisten van de reguliere media hun publiek
zorgvuldig hersenspoelen om de noodzaak van vernietiging en absorptie
te verankeren in de geest van dat publiek……

is in the news every day now. Today here in Australia we’re
pretending
to be offended
because a Chinese tabloid published
the accusation
that our nation is a “giant kangaroo that serves as a dog of the
US”, even though we all know that’s
completely true
and we should be flattered that at least they said “giant”.
Before that we were getting indignant over a
hefty barley tariff
in response to our facilitation of America’s global anti-China spin
campaign, which it turns out Washington
screwed us on.

Anti-China
sentiment has been thriving in Australia, aided by our
Murdoch-dominated
news media, State
Department-funded think tanks explicitly
geared toward manipulating the China narrative, and of course our own
deep-seated racism and xenophobia. Because of its geographical
location, the US
military/intelligence asset
conventionally known as Australia has been a major focal point for
the US-centralized empire’s propaganda campaign against the most
powerful unabsorbed nation in the world.

China
is in the news constantly now, and it’s not because of any virus.
It’s not because of Hong Kong, it’s
not because of Uighurs, it’s not because of intellectual property
violations or any of the other scattershot, unrelated hodgepodge of
excuses you’re being fed as to why the Chinese government must be
regarded as the latest Actual Hitler all of a sudden.

China
is in the news all the time because of imperialism.

To
understand what’s going on with China and why the “news”
media keep punching you in the face with stories about how awful it
is, you really only need to grasp two basic points:

Point
1: We are in the middle of a slow-motion third world war between the
US-centralized power alliance and the nations which have resisted
being absorbed into it.

A
loose alliance of nationless
oligarchs who use governments as weapons
have secured control over a large
empire-like cluster of nations
with economic and military might loosely centralized around the
United States. In order to gain more power and ensure its ongoing
hegemony, this oligarchic empire must keep expanding by absorbing
more nations and brutalizing them if they resist. China is by far the
most powerful of the unabsorbed nations, followed by Russia at a
distant second and Iran at a distant third.

Nuclear
weapons make another hot world war undesirable, so this one takes the
form of resource control, economic warfare, staging coups, arming
oppositional militias to use as proxy armies, expanding military
presence in key geostrategic regions under the pretense of fighting
terrorism, and “humanitarian interventionism”, with
old-school full-scale ground invasions used only as a last resort,
and only after manufacturing sufficient international approval to
ensure the continued cohesion of the empire-like power alliance.

But
the end goal is the same as that of a conventional world war: to beat
the other side into submission and compliance. And, in this case,
absorption into the imperial blob. After the fall of the Soviet
Union, the
prevailing orthodoxy
in US power structures became that the US must maintain unipolar
hegemony at all cost to maintain a “liberal world order”
(even if it means abandoning “liberal” values whenever it’s
convenient). From that point on the agenda has been global domination
and the slow, suffocating subversion of anyone who gets in the way.

Point
2: Propaganda is used to move this world war along.

In
a conventional war each side has clear military objectives that
everyone understands, and the weapons are naturally moved around in
accordance with these objectives. In this weird slow-motion world
war, nobody understands what’s going on besides the major power
players and those who are paying very close attention. The various
agendas against the governments of Iran, Venezuela, Russia, Syria,
China etc appear different and unrelated when looked at individually,
and indeed you will see different political factions supporting some
of these agendas but not others. The only thing unifying this
slow-motion movement toward the destruction and absorption of all
unabsorbed nations is carefully constructed propaganda narratives.

The
way these unifying propaganda narratives operate is simple. It would
never occur to rank-and-file citizens that a nation on the other side
of the planet that’s pretty much just doing its own thing needs to be
sanctioned, subverted and brought to heel, so the imperialist
oligarchs who own the political/media
class make sure everyone is fed custom-made narratives according
to their own ideological echo chamber to
prevent any domestic inertia from being thrown on these agendas. Once
there’s sufficient agreement that
Saddam/Gaddafi/Morales/Assad/Maduro/whomever must go, the campaign to
subvert, sabotage and absorb that government can safely be escalated.

If
you can understand points one and two, you can understand everything
that’s happening with China, and everything that will continue to
happen. Propaganda narratives will be rolled out with increasing
aggression which have the long-term goal of alienating China from its
allies, hurting its economic interests, and preventing its rise to
true superpower status and creating a multipolar world.

And
the funny thing is, none of this is necessary. Westerners have been
deliberately propagandized into believing that China wants to take
over the world and will do so unless kept in line by the United
States, who has surrounded
China with military bases
in an act of extreme aggression that the US itself would never
tolerate from any unabsorbed government. But if you really grill
people on how they know that China wants to take over the world,
you’ll find they don’t have any substantial evidence for it.

They’ll
tell you that China has an authoritarian government which persecutes
ethnic and religious minorities, wrongly claiming that this means
they want to take over the world and inflict the same on everyone
else. They’ll tell you China has sought to expand control over some
directly adjacent territories, wrongly claiming that this means they
want to dominate the planet militarily like the US currently does.
They’ll cite evidence which shows China is seeking to become a
superpower and create a multipolar
world (something China openly admits) and wrongly claim that this is
proof that they are seeking to dominate the world with unipolar
hegemony. They won’t be able to produce any actual, hard evidence
that China is trying to take over the world and censor your internet
and take away your rights, because no such evidence exists. It’s a
completely empty belief arising from aggressive narrative
manipulation.

“One
myth I think really that needs to be dispelled is that somehow China
is aiming to replace America and going to run the world, and it’s
not,” said Chinese venture capitalist and social scientist Eric
Li on the John Pilger documentary The
Coming War on China.
“First of all, the Chinese are not that stupid. The west,
with its Christian roots, are about converting other people into
their beliefs. The Chinese are not about that. It’s just that–again,
I’m not degrading the western culture, I’m just pointing out the
inherent nature, the DNA of two different cultures–the Chinese two
thousand years ago built the Great Wall to keep the barbarians out,
not to invade them.”

I’d
say this is a reasonable summary. After European nations tried to
conquer the planet just a few generations ago in the name of
spreading Christianity and “civilization”, we’re projecting
our sick vestigial colonialist values on a nation whose culture never
drove it to such madness.

Arresting people for future crimes is called “pre-crime”, and it’s the stuff of dystopian horror fiction. Violently dominating an entire planet because another country might hurt yours in the future is called “US foreign policy”, and it’s the stuff of mainstream news punditry.

Violently
dominating the entire planet for all eternity on the vague suspicion
that another country wants to do the same to you is not sane, and is
not an option. Unabsorbed nations should be allowed to remain
unabsorbed, absorbed nations should have their sovereignty restored
(or in Australia’s case granted to it for the first time since its
existence as a nation), and America should begin acting like a normal
country. The notion of “pre-crime”
is the purview of dystopian horror fiction when applied to individual
people, and there’s no reason we should find the prospect of
attacking and destroying for hypothetical future offenses any less
insane on an international scale.

There
was never any reason for the coronavirus to be made into an issue of
international conflict when it could just as easily be an issue of
international collaboration, and indeed collaborating is what we
should all be doing, with this virus and with everything else. Let’s
end this weird slow-motion world war and move toward sanity.

Een kort verhaal van Caitlin Johnstone, die de massa´s aanwijst als een
slapende reus, die keer op keer in slaap wordt gehouden, terwijl zijn
wereld zo verandert dat z’n manier van leven voorgoed voorbij is en
de maatschappij ‘voor zijn eigen bestwil’ is veranderd in een enorme
gevangenis…… Ofwel de gevolgen van het Cornavirus versnellen de poging om de individuele burger van de wieg tot het graf te volgen, te controleren en te manipuleren, een maatschappij als beschreven in 1984, het boek van George Orwell…….

The
Sleeping Giant

A
slumbering giant began to stir and awaken.

“Something’s
wrong,” he mumbled.

“Now,
now, just you relax,” said a small voice. “Everything’s
fine.”

The
giant cracked an eye open to find a small man in a lab coat holding a
needle and syringe half his size.

“I
need to get up,” said the giant. “It feels like something’s
wrong.”

“Nonsense,
everything’s fine,” said the man in the lab coat. “We’ve
taken care of everything. You need your rest. We’ll look after you.
I’m going to give you some medicine to help you sleep.”

“How
long was I asleep for?” the giant asked after wincing from the
prick of the needle.

“Not
long enough,” said the man. “Rest now. We’ve got everything
taken care of.”

The
man’s voice faded into blackness as the giant relaxed into the ground
and lost consciousness. He dreamed that a great serpent was chasing
him.

Much
later, the giant awakened with a start to the sounds of distant
gunfire and began to get up.

“Shhh,
relax! It’s okay,” said the man in the lab coat.

“There
is a war!” said the giant. “I must stop it!”

“Yes,
there is a war, but it’s a necessary war,” said the man,
struggling to fill a giant syringe with green liquid from a container
nearby. “The side we’re fighting against is very bad and must be
stopped. Their leader persecutes minorities, and kills babies for no
reason! And we received intelligence saying that they were preparing
to attack us with powerful weapons.”

“Oh
that’s terrible!” said the giant, relaxing and laying his
enormous head back down.

“Very
terrible indeed,” said the man in the lab coat. “It will be
over soon though. Victory is right around the corner. Then we’ll have
peace.”

“I
like peace,” said the giant, screwing his eyes shut as the
needle went in.

“Don’t
we all?” said the man. “Rest now. Rest.”

Heavy
eyelids closed, and the pops and explosions faded into nothingness.

A
long time passed. The giant kept having nightmares about a venomous
serpent biting his flesh.

Eventually
the giant began awakening once again. The gunfire and explosions were
still going, and they were louder than before. He opened his eyes and
saw the man in the lab coat urinating on a tree.

“You
said the war would be over soon,” said the giant.

“Oh!
You’re awake!” said the man with a start, hastily zipping up and
rushing to his medicine bag.

“Ah,
yes, yes the war,” he said as he fumbled to prepare the needle.
“Well see we got rid of the bad guy, but that ended up creating
a power vacuum and now there’s an even worse
bad guy in his place! This one actually eats
babies!”

“I
feel sick,” said the giant. “Something’s wrong with me. I
need to get up.”

“You
know I’m glad you brought that up, because it happens that we have
put together a party that is dedicated to curing your sickness,”
said the man. “You just relax and go back to sleep, and the
party will take care of everything.”

“Why
are there tubes in my flesh?” asked the giant.

“They’re
there to help you become healthy,” the man replied. “Your
medicine is ready. Just relax, you’ll feel a slight pin prick.”

“You’re
sure you guys have a handle on this?”

“Absolutely.
Relax. Trust the party.”

The
giant had nightmares that he was trapped in the coils of an enormous
serpent. Every time he’d exhale it would squeeze its coils ever
tighter around him.

A
great long time later, the giant’s eyes opened again. He was lying on
his back now, and he could feel tiny ropes being cast over his body.

“Hey
what’s going on?” yelled the giant.

“Shhh,
relax,” the man in the lab coat said into his ear. “Go back
to sleep.”

“They’re
tying me up!” the giant protested, beginning to struggle and
shake.

“It’s
for your safety! Calm down,” said the man. “Sometimes you
move in your sleep and we’re worried you might hurt yourself.”

“I
still hear the war!” objected the giant. “And I feel even
sicker now! What’s happening? You said your party would fix this!”

“There’s
been a problem in the party, but we’re fixing it,” said the man.
“There is a great revolutionary leader who is fighting to take
control of the party, and he will put everything right. Soon big
changes will be made, and all will be well.”

“I
can make the changes myself!” roared the giant. “I am vast!
I am powerful! I will make things right! Untie me and let me up!”

“Yes,
you can. Of course you can,” said the man. “But we’ve got
to work within the system. If you go upsetting the system, the
bad guys will win!”

“Oh
well I don’t want the bad guys to win,” the giant said, relaxing
slightly.

“Of
course you don’t,” said the man. “You are good, and you are
mighty. Now relax and go to sleep so we can win this revolution.”

“Okay,”
said the giant. “Okay.”

The
world fell away after the familiar needle prick, and the giant
dreamed he was being swallowed alive by an enormous serpent.

After
what felt like a very, very long time, the giant awoke to the sounds
of construction. He opened his eyes and, after much straining through
badly blurred vision, was able to make out cranes and pulleys all
around him, lifting large iron bars which many men were working to
affix to an enormous structure being built around him.

“Wh-
what is this?” asked the giant. His voice was weak and raspy.

“Relax,”
the familiar voice said into his ear. “It’s nothing. Go back to
sleep.”

“They’re
building a cage around me,” the giant whispered.

“It’s
for your safety,” said the man in the lab coat. “We need to
protect you from the bad guys while you sleep.”

The
giant struggled to get up but couldn’t move.

“Why
am I tied down?”

“It’s
for your safety, remember? Your safety is our highest priority.”

“I
am sick,” said the giant. “I’m sick, and I’m weak. I need
help.”

“We
are helping you,” said the man. “We are making you well.”

“No,
no you’re not. You’re making me sick. You’re making me weak. These
tubes you’ve got in me. They’re not helping me, they’re draining me.”

“Nonsense.
You’re imagining things.”

“You’re
using me. You’ve been using me this entire time.”

“That’s
a paranoid delusion. You’re paranoid and crazy. I’m going to give you
some medicine to calm down.”

“No.
No!”

The
needle went in, followed by the familiar darkness.

“One
of these days,” thought the giant as he slipped away. “One
of these days I should definitely get up.”

Caitlin
Johnstone heeft in een ‘paar toetsen’ aangetoond dat de top van de
Democratische Partij George W. Bush prijst als een geweldige
president…… Ze begint haar kritiek met de opmerking dat deze Bush
weer volop in de aandacht staat, niet vanwege een aanklacht bij het
Internationaal Strafhof (ICC) dat al lang geleden vervolging in had
moeten stellen tegen G.W. Bush wegens oorlogsmisdaden, maar omdat de stem van deze
opperschoft wordt gebruikt in een ‘feel-good’ video over de Coronacrisis…..

‘Laten
we niet vergeten hoe klein onze verschillen zijn tijdens deze door
ons allen gedeelde dreiging (van het Coronavirus, Ap)’, aldus Bush,
die vervolgde met te zeggen dat ‘we’ geen tegenover elkaar staande
strijders zijn, maar mensen die gelijkelijk kwetsbaar en tegelijk even dierbaar zijn in de ogen van god…….. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Hoe
durft Bush deze woorden in de mond te nemen, terwijl hij het volk van
de VS allesbehalve gelijk heeft behandeld, de armen zijn er ook
tijdens zijn 2 termijnen op achteruitgegaan, waar de welgestelden er tegelijk flink op vooruit zijn gegaan…… Ook de landen die hij
illegaal, op basis van leugens heeft aangevallen, stonden er al veel
slechter voor dan de VS en waren militair geen partij voor deze terreurentiteit (als je het toch over gelijkheid hebt), waar de
volkeren die het aangaat door acties van deze ploert in een nog
veel slechtere toestand zijn beland dan die waarin ze zich al bevonden……. Van de fors meer dan 2,5
miljoen mensen die de VS en haar hielenlikkende NAVO partners hebben
vermoord, vooral in het Midden-Oosten, staat het grootste deel nog altijd op naam van George W.
Bush…… (al zat Nobelprijs voor de Vrede winnaar en tegelijk oorlogsmisdadiger Obama hem bij wijze van spreken op de hielen…)

Johnstone
geeft in 5 punten duidelijk aan waar het aan scheelt als je het over
Bush hebt….. Jammer dat ze niet stelt dat ook de komende
verkiezingen een rol spelen in de plotselinge omarming van Bush,
verkiezingen die in deze de leidraad zijn van de Democraten, immers
Joe Biden stond volledig achter de illegale oorlogen die Bush tegen
Afghanistan en Irak begon……. Zoals Johnstone terecht al vaak
heeft opgemerkt: of Biden dan wel Trump zullen worden gekozen, zal
niet uitmaken voor de bevolking van landen die de VS niet
welgevallig zijn, zoals Iran, Noord-Korea, China, Rusland, Venezuela
en Cuba…..

Ook onder Biden zullen een aantal van de hiervoor genoemde volkeren het
slachtoffer zijn en worden van sancties, illegaal opgelegd door de VS (in
Venezuela zou de teller van het aantal doden door de sancties van de
VS al zijn opgelopen naar 50.000, in feite vermoord middels een
extreem smerige vorm van terreur…*)…… Johnstone maakt er een punt van vooral de Democratische Partij te bekritiseren, kan echter niet meegaan in deze, kwaad dient hoe dan ook benoemd te worden, of die nu van de Democraten dan wel van de Republikeinen komt, trouwens ik moet zeggen dat ze daar zelf de hand mee licht, gezien haar artikelen over een langere tijd.

De
hiervoor genoemde vorm van terreur, sancties tegen landen die de VS niet welgevallig zijn, staat in het verdrag van Genève
omschreven als misdaad tegen de menselijkheid, te vergelijken met de
belegering en uithongering van steden tijdens de middeleeuwen……..
Wellicht is Biden nog gevaarlijker voor de wereld, daar hij
duidelijke tekenen van dementie vertoont en naast oorlogsmisdaden
zijn handen niet omdraait voor ordinaire misdaad, zoals het chanteren
van een land…… (Biden heeft ervoor gezorgd dat zijn zoon Hunter in
Oekraïne niet langer werd vervolgd voor fraude en witwassen, daar
hij eiste dat de procureur-generaal die dit onderzoek leidde zou
worden ontslagen, daar anders een grote wapenlevering niet door zou
gaan; e.e.a. toen hij minister van buitenlandse zaken was onder
Obama….)

because his voice was used in a cutesy feel-good video about unity
during the Covid-19 pandemic.

us remember how small our differences are in the face of this shared
threat,” Bush is heard saying. “We are not partisan
combatants. We are human beings, equally vulnerable and equally
wonderful in the sight of God.”

And,
needless to say, Democrats are all over social media orgasming in
their pants about it.

“This
video made me ugly cry,” tweeted
actress-turned-McResistance pundit Alyssa Milano.

“A
REAL president,” tweeted
the other Alyssa Milano, Debra Messing.

“In
a million years I never thought I’d be crying watching this,
thinking how much better we’d all feel if Bush were president
today,” tweeted
former Democratic congresswoman Katie Hill to thunderous online
applause.

The
Intercept‘s
Mehdi Hasan spent
all day on Twitter
defending his position that Dubya is superior to Trump, at one point
even arguing
“You can be a sane warmonger. You can be a warmonger but be an
ok human being to your friends and family. You can be a warmonger and
be able to handle a domestic public health crisis.”

years rank-and-file Democrats have been giving the true Butcher of
Baghdad a
majority approval rating,
running with the
common narrative
that while Bush perhaps made some “mistakes”, Trump is
spectacularly worse. Here are five things that are highlighted by
that common perspective:

1. It
shows how little Democrats care about the lives of human beings
overseas.

By
the end of his first term Bush had launched two full-scale ground
invasions, murdered a million Iraqis, destabilized an entire region
in a way that would shortly give rise to ISIS, and ushered in a whole
new level of unprecedented US military expansionism and imperialism.
Trump has done none of these things. He has inflicted
many evils upon our world
and, like
Obama,
has continued
and expanded the warmongering
of his predecessors. But he has done nothing that rises to the level
of depravity of Bush’s wars.

The
fact that Democrats see Trump’s evils as not only equal to but far in
excess of Bush’s reveals as plain as day that, for all their supposed
bleeding heart liberal sensibilities, they simply do not place much
value on the lives of foreigners. Sure they might enjoy a little
masturbatory melodrama over kids in cages when it shows up on their
doorstep, but kids getting ripped to shreds by cluster bombs and
being born severely disabled from depleted uranium munitions simply
does not register for them, because they don’t have to look at it.

They
do not care. Rude tweets and racism are worse than institutionalized
mass murder for them, because they have to look at one but not the
other.

2. It
shows that Trump-era Democrats are Bush-era Republicans.

The
nice little painter man who passed mints to Michelle Obama at a funeral
is actually a mass murderer who belongs in front of a war crimes
tribunal, not being praised for releasing web videos.

“Dems
have no choice but to rehabilitate George Bush because their core
narrative is the US was a fundamentally good and decent land before

in response to Democrats’ fawning over Bush, adding, “How do you

Indeed,
Bush-era neocons have been able to fully ingratiate themselves to and
integrate themselves with Democrats in the age of Trump by posing as
moral opposition longing for a more civilized time when presidents
would politely butcher humans by the hundreds of thousands without
using offensive language like “shit hole”. A gentlemanly
time for gentlemanly presidents to unfold gentlemanly Orwellian
surveillance measures all around the world without posting rude
tweets about celebrities they don’t like.

Trump-era
Democrats are Bush-era Republicans. That’s how far to the
authoritarian right the party has moved in the last few years on
important matters like foreign policy. You can see this by the
shrieking, hysterical response they had to Tulsi Gabbard calling for
what more or less amounted to a simple reversion back to pre-9/11 US
foreign policy. It has been necessary for Democrats to gaslight
themselves into this position because for three presidential
campaigns in a row–Obama 2012, Clinton 2016, and now Biden
2020–they’ve had to find ways of convincing themselves that a
politician who has facilitated Bush’s foreign policy agendas would
make a good commander-in-chief.

3. It
shows how the amnesia-inducing effects of the mass media news churn
make it difficult to retain perspective.

media propagandists are able to distort perception even while telling

any weapons of mass destruction in Iraq or the fact that the
occupation of Afghanistan has been justified by an entire generation
of lies, the memory of that reporting can be made to fade into the
background by frantically reporting on what’s happening right now
without referring back to the previous revelations.

Russiagate
alone did so much to distort people’s perceptions in mainstream
liberal circles.

Having
the baseless narrative breathlessly promoted year after year after
year that the Kremlin had literally seized control of the highest
levels of the US government left rank-and-file Democrats who
subscribed to it without any sense of scale or proportion, because
they were constantly being told that the Most Important Thing Ever
was about to happen.

How
can you hold perspective on a million dead Iraqis when you’re being
told day after day, year after year in myriad ways that Russian
Hitler was controlling your country but Super Mueller is going to
swoop in to the rescue any minute now? It would be very difficult.

4. It
shows the glaring difference between fact and narrative.

Most
of the mass media reporting on Trump has been factual, it’s just had
a ton of narrative spin attached to the facts. It is a fact that
Trump frequently says and does dumb, obnoxious and horrible things.
It is a fact that many racists think he’s the cat’s pajamas. It is a
fact that there was an impeachment and a collusion investigation. But
the narrative overlay that has been heaped upon those facts while
they’re being reported–the urgency, the alarmism, the
hyperbole–leaves viewers with the distinct impression that this US
president is awful in a way that is unique and historically
unprecedented, and he simply isn’t.

Trump
is not worse than Bush, the mass media just yell about him a lot
more. If the narratives matched the facts, mass media consumers would
be aware that nothing Trump has done is as evil as Bush’s invasion of
Iraq alone. In reality Trump didn’t wind up being another Hitler, he
wound up being another Obama (not a compliment). And if the narrative
spin matched the factual reality, people would understand that.

5. It
shows that this simply is not working.

Imagine
you’re out in the woods with a friend you trust in the dark. You know
there’s a horrible monster out there stalking you, and suddenly you
hear it in the distance coming crashing towards you. It has picked up
your scent and it will be upon you in moments.

You
turn to run, but your friend grabs you and won’t let you move. He
falls to the ground grabbing your legs screaming “No! No! We
must stay here! We mustn’t move an inch!”

Who
do you need to fight first? The monster? Or your “friend”?

That’s
why I focus so much of my criticism on the Democratic Party instead
of the Republicans. Ultimately they’re the party which could actually
allow for positive changes to be made to the world, but instead they
keep moving further and further into the warmongering totalitarianism
they once purported to despise in George W Bush.

Relying
on either head of the two-headed one-party system to make meaningful
changes simply is not working, and will not ever work. No institution
that would so warmly rehabilitate and welcome a bloodthirsty monster
like Bush is going to help humanity one iota. In fact, its sole
purpose is to do the exact opposite.

Fox News
heeft als lid van de reguliere (massa-) media de grote aftrap gedaan
in het beschuldigen van China voor de Coronacrisis. Fox presentator
Jeanine Pirro heeft haar gif gespuid over China en daar zelfs
een eis aan toegevoegd: China moet op alle mogelijke manieren boeten,
nou ja, ‘alle mogelijke manieren?’ Een kernoorlog ontbreekt nog aan
de tirade van deze oorlogshitser…….

Tucker
Carlson, een Fox presentator die liever voor de CIA had gewerkt, maar
daar werd afgewezen, had oud-CIA agent Bryan Dean Wright op bezoek en
vroeg hem op suggestieve manier of Democratische politici werken
voor de Chinese geheime dienst. Carlson deed dit daar men eerder aan
Democratische politici had gevraagd of zij contact hebben gehad met
Chinese autoriteiten maar daar geen antwoord op kreeg; kijk dan
concludeert men bij Fox dat deze politici, waaronder senator
Feinstein, wel op de loonlijst van de Chinese geheime dienst moeten
staan….. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!

Kortom
de Russiagate leugen wordt afgestoft en van een ander etiket
voorzien: China! Overigens ook de Democraten kunnen er wat van, zo
heeft oorlogsmisdadiger Biden zelfs durven zeggen dat Trump zich
weliswaar oorlogspresident noemt, maar zich eindelijk als zodanig
moet gedragen…… Waar hij voorts stelde dat Trump de Chinezen veel
te slap aanpakt…… En dan denken progressieve Democraten dat Biden
wel naar de linkerkant van de partij is te krijgen….. ha! ha! ha!

Johnstone schreef een artikel over deze zaak, waar ze als bij
Russiagate concludeert dat e.e.a niet gaat over het Coronavirus of
manipulatie van verkiezingen (Russiagate), maar over het handhaven
van de VS als alleenheerser over de wereld, dus het in de tang nemen
van China en Rusland, waarbij één van de doelen is China’s economie
onderuit te halen, daar deze een grote bedreiging vormt voor de VS…… De VS moet de nummer 1 economie van de wereld blijven, ook al is de
staatsschuld van de VS amper nog in cijfers is uit te drukken en loopt deze per seconde op…… (kijk ‘voor de gein’ is hoe snel dat gaat)

that looks like a fictional news clip from some kind of film

Carlson recently had
on “former” CIA officer Bryan Dean Wright
to tell his massive audience about the danger posed by the Chinese
menace, and pitched him a question clearly geared to set up Wright to
claim without evidence that leaders of the Democratic Party may in
fact be members of the Chinese intelligence agency MSS.

This
is easily as unhinged as even the most cartoonishly ridiculous Russia
hysteria we’ve seen uncorked by Rachel Maddow or anyone on MSNBC, and
is not at all different in tone or content; even the use of the term
“useful idiots” is right in line with the same
reprehensible Russiagate rhetoric we’ve been hearing for the last
four years.

The
claim that rival parties have been infiltrated by communists has a
very long and ugly history in US politics, and now that it’s being
weaponized by the American right wing in such a shameless way we can
expect it to get a whole lot uglier.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi demanding
that Trump “swiftly begin implementing the Hong Kong Human
Rights & Democracy Act”, and a
new Biden campaign ad
attacking the president for being too soft on China for its handling
of the Covid-19 virus.

The
ad attacks Trump for failing to force Beijing to allow US government
officials into Wuhan to monitor the governing of a sovereign nation
during a pandemic outbreak.

“Trump
praised the Chinese 15 times in January and February as the
coronavirus spread across the world,” says the ad’s narrator in
a menacing voice. “Trump never got a CDC team on the ground in
China. And the travel ban he brags about? Trump let in 40,000
travelers from China into America after he signed it. Not exactly
airtight.”

Attacking
Trump from the right on foreign policy has become standard practice
for the Biden campaign, with whoever runs his account recently
tweeting
“Donald Trump says he’s a wartime president — it’s time
for him to act like one.”

This
is the guy that American progressives still say can be moved to the
left? Hilarious.

is never a good sign when the political/media class all across the
aisle begins loudly trying to out-hawk one another about a nation
which refuses to be absorbed into the US-centralized world order. And
make no mistake, this is all this is actually about.

It’s
not a coincidence that the two nations the US political/media class
has been shrieking the loudest about lately are the two strongest
nations which have refused to be absorbed into the US empire. It’s
never been about “collusion” or a virus, it’s about
stopping multipolarism. This has been obvious for years, but
partisan narrative control masks it.

More
than two years ago I
was writing
about how Russiagate isn’t about Trump or even really just about
Russia, but about hamstringing the Russia-China tandem to stop
China’s rise.

Ever
since the fall of the Soviet Union and the rise of neoconservatism,
the prevailing orthodoxy in the US-centralized power alliance has
been to preserve the unipolar world order at any cost. All US foreign
policy has been a direct or indirect result of this agenda ever
since.

Donald Trump says he’s a wartime president — it’s time for him to act like one.

It’s
not about Covid-19. It’s not about Uighurs. It’s not about a Putin
pee tape. It’s not about terrorists. It’s not about weapons of mass
destruction. It’s about world domination, plain and simple. And the
oligarch-owned political/media class who controls the dominant
narrative is helping to facilitate that.

I
never voted for a world order where one powerful government is
constantly attacking, destroying and sabotaging any nation that
threatens its hegemony. I’m pretty sure you never did either. And yet
here we are, forced to accept this insane paradigm, even when the
targeted nations in question are nuclear armed and anything could go
drastically wrong at any moment as a result of miscommunication or
technical malfunction in the heat and confusion of escalated
aggression.

This
will continue to be foisted upon us whether we like it or not, until
this way of life is locked in forever, or until we all die in a
nuclear holocaust, or until we force them to stop. It’s that third
option that they are working to cut off during the rapid increases
in government surveillance and internet censorship
we’ve seen implemented during this pandemic, so we’re going to have
to want to live a lot more than the empire does.

Sanders vs. Biden, een strijd die door de media, de grote bedrijven en de Democratische Partij werd gewonnen

Sanders
gooide onlangs de handdoek in de ring, waardoor we nu met Trump
zitten, een fascistisch psychopathische president die opgaat
voor nog een termijn en met Biden, de Democratische kandidaat, die
zowel (als Trump) oorlogsmisdadiger is, er al een paar decennia lang een
neoliberale agenda op na houdt* en die als Trump
intussen ook wordt beschuldigd van verkrachting…… Voorts moet
gezegd worden dat Biden, gezien zijn optreden de laatste maanden
minstens de indruk wekte dementerend te zijn, vanmorgen nog hoorde ik deze hufter spreken over Sanders die zijn campagne steunt, wat een geklungel, je krijgt zwaar de indruk dat hij niet weet wat te zeggen………..

Caitlin
Johnstone schreef een artikel over deze zaak, waarin ze uitlegt hoe
het mogelijk is dat we met 2 van dit soort kandidaten zitten, dus met Biden en Trump. Van de
geheime dienst die van Sanders een Russische kandidaat maakte, tot de
top van de Democratische Partij die o.a. in de vorm van Obama zelfs nog op de
avond voor Super Tuesday de campagne van Sanders saboteerde….. Zo
werden de plannen van Sanders voor onderwijs (o.a. studeren zo goed
als gratis maken), een zorgverzekering voor elke inwoner van de VS
en bestrijding van de enorme armoede in de VS, als een plan van een
waanzinnige voorgesteld, het zou allemaal niet te betalen
zijn……..

Het voorgaande terwijl men er geen probleem mee heeft
dat de VS intussen: -meer dan 730 miljard uitgeeft aan
oorlogsvoering, -kapitalen aan subsdie spendeert voor de winning van schaliegas en
-olie, -de geldpersen constant aan heeft staan, om zo te pogen de
aandelenkoersen op peil te houden…… Om nog maar te zwijgen over de
gigantische hoeveelheden belastinggeld die naar grote bedrijven gaan,
o.a. naar landbouw en veeteelt, steenkool winning en de kapitalen die
worden gespendeerd aan wapenfabrikanten in de breedste zin van het
woord….. Dan is er nog een hele berg
aan belastinginkomsten verdwenen, daar de Trump administratie de belastingen voor grote
bedrijven en de welgestelden fiks heeft verlaagd……

Hoe is
het mogelijk dat de achterban van Trump maar in hem blijft geloven,
waar hij hen intussen op enorme schaal heeft besodemieterd en in feite
tegen hun belang handelt….. Daar is maar één antwoord op te
geven: de reguliere (massa-) media in de VS hersenspoelen de
bevolking dusdanig dat ze geloven belang te hebben bij kandidaten
als Trump en Biden (2 psychopathische totaal-idioten van partijen die amper van
elkaar verschillen, daar zou met Sanders als president een eind aan
zijn gekomen dat is zeker, ook al zou hij veel tegenwind hebben
gekregen)

artikel van Johnstone waar ze o.a. ingaat op de rol van de top van de
Democratische Partij en die van de media, die zoals gezegd in feite het
kandidaatschap voor president, ofwel de campagne van Sanders hebben
gesaboteerd, een herhaling van zetten zoals die werden gedaan tijdens de voorverkiezingen in 2016…….

as of right now it’s Trump versus Biden. An incompetent plutocrat
president selling
himself as an anti-establishment people’s champion
while simultaneously advancing garden
variety Republican sociopathy,
versus a warmongering
authoritarian
who is too

more and more credibly to
be a rapist.

Needless
to say, this is absolute bullshit.

How
did we get here? How did we get to the point where the electoral
contest to run the most powerful government on the planet is between
a racist demented right-wing authoritarian warmongering rapist and
another racist demented right-wing authoritarian warmongering
rapist? How in the hell did this bullshit happen?

There
are a number of factors, including anonymous
and unsubstantiated “leaks” from the US intelligence
community
regarding Russian support for the Bernie Sanders campaign and a
shockingly
coordinated maneuver
by Democratic Party leadership (including
former president Obama)
to sabotage Sanders in the late hours before Super Tuesday.

But
the primary factor by far was domestic mass media propaganda.
Propaganda during the primary season of course, with the billionaire
press showing a very
clear and undeniable bias against Bernie Sanders
from the very
beginning of the race.
Had the Sanders campaign received a normal quality and quantity of
mass media coverage for a candidate of his stature, he would
doubtless have received far more support than he did. To deny that
biased media messaging has an effect would be the same as denying
that advertising, a trillion-dollar
industry,
has an effect.

it goes so very much deeper than that. The influence of mass media
propaganda upon the Democratic primary race was not limited to the
propaganda that was employed during the actual contest; it’s been
setting the foundation for it since long before that.

Without
having been raised in a media environment that is saturated with
establishment propaganda, it would never occur to anyone in a million
years to describe a violent authoritarian extremist like Joe Biden as
a “moderate”. It would never occur to anyone to think of
this crazy wingnut as “electable”. It would certainly never
occur to anyone that he should be running on the platform of what
passes for America’s political left wing.

unmanipulated eyes upon someone who’s dedicated his entire political
career to neoliberal exploitation at home and neoconservative mass
murder abroad, someone who openly
boasts
about authoring the foundational documents of the USA PATRIOT Act,
someone who promises rich donors that “nothing
fundamentally will change”
if he’s elected and who they know from experience can be taken at his
word, it would never occur to them that this is someone who should be
running for any elected office anywhere, let along within spitting
distance of the most powerful one in the world.

It
is only by the ability of the mass media to manufacture
the illusion of normality
that this bullshit has been made possible. The way the plutocratic
class controls the mass media has given them the ability to persuade
people to believe that freakish extremism is normal and healthy
objections to oligarchic malfeasance is freakish extremism.
