VS steun voor 20 dictators

beetje verwarrend het uittreksel van de World Beyond War(WBW) organisatie, de kop waarin wordt gesteld dat de VS 50
onderdrukkende regimes steunt, terwijl het PDF waaruit dit schrijven
komt, spreekt van 20 dictators die door de VS worden gesteund en
waarin zo te zien ook Syrië behoort, terwijl de VS daar de
terreurgroepen steunt en niet de democratisch gekozen regering
Assad……* 

Het hieronder opgenomen onderdeel van een langer PDF maakt onderscheidt tussen dictaturen en geeft daar 3 definities voor, zoals een dictatuur onder één persoon en regeringen die zware druk uitoefenen op het volk. Weet niet of dit een verstandig onderscheid is, immers het gaat erom hoe een volk haar leiders ervaart, of dit nu in een democratie is, of een dictatuur, dan wel een politiestaat (dat zijn overigens niet de definities zoals het PDF aangeeft op basis van vaststellingen door het ‘Freedom House’). Zo vind ik dat Rusland geen dictatuur genoemd kan worden, immers er mag nog
steeds gekozen worden. Vergeet daarbij niet dat veel van de oppositiegroepen in Rusland banden hebben met de georganiseerde misdaad…… 

Je zou zelfs kunnen pleiten voor een figuur
als Putin, daar die de wereld al een paar keer heeft behoed voor een
wereldoorlog, immers als de Trump kliek in het Kremlin had
gezeten, was Rusland al lang een oorlog tegen de VS begonnen vanwege verregaand geweld van de VS tegen militaire doelen van Rusland bijvoorbeeld in Syrië……. Om nog maar te zwijgen over het buitenlandbeleid van de VS in Europa, waar het als opperbevelhebber van NAVO troepen de ene na de andere militaire oefening houdt langs de westgrens van Rusland. Bedenk maar eens wat de VS zou doen als Russische troepen aan de andere kant van de VS grenzen met Mexico of Canada de ene militaire oefening na de ander zou houden……. Gezien de VS agressie tegen Rusland kan je zelfs stellen dat de VS met haar agressie Putin in het zadel houdt (immers agressie tegen de Russische regering is in feite agressie tegen het Russische volk….).

Daarover gesproken: veel commentaar van de VS op Cuba, sinds de rebellen van Castro het misdadigersnest van de VS in Cuba omwentelde en eindelijk voor het volk werd gezorgd, i.p.v. de maffia en de welghestelden uit de VS. Waarbij Castro snel zaken als analfabetisme met succes wist te bestrijden en de gezonheidzorg, scholing en huisvesting bijna gratis maakte…. De VS heeft daarna van meet af aan sancties opgelegd aan dit land, als de VS dat niet had gedaan zou het goed mogelijk geweest zijn dat Cuba eerder een vrij en gelukkig land was geworden, echter dat wilde de VS koste wat kost voorkomen…… Voorlopig is het zo dat verreweg de meerderheid van het Cubaanse volk achter ‘de dictatuur’ van Castro stond en volgens zeggen is dat nog steeds zo…..

Oké,
het is bepaald geen geheim dat de VS dictators steunt, ik schat dat
een regelmatige lezer of luisteraar naar nieuws wel een paar van deze
dictators op kan noemen, neem Saoedi-Arabië, maar toch mooi dat je kan
zien met welke schoften de VS goede banden onderhoudt…… Zoals gezegd: het buitenlandbeleid van de VS is er op zeker verantwoordelijk voor dat de dictatuur in een aantal landen in het zadel blijft, waar andere dictaturen die niet in het VS gareel lopen, juist door de agressie van de VS in het zadel blijven, neem Noord-Korea en Iran…..

En dan
durft men in de VS te zeggen dat de VS democratie brengt naar de
landen tegen wie het een illegale oorlog is begonnen…… Terwijl de VS ook
nog eens opstanden organiseert om een democratisch gekozen president
af te kunnen zetten, zoals in Honduras, Oekraïne, Syrië* en als
laatste (althans zoals nu bekend): Bolivia…….

Trouwens
wat betreft de VS zelf, kan je ook al spreken van een politiestaat,
een andere vorm van dictatuur…… De VS waar 2 partijen de dienst
uitmaken en men iedereen die een beetje sociaal ‘gezicht’ heeft op
zeker afserveert, zie nu weer Bernie Sanders…. In het
westen jubelde men na de tweede overwinning van bewezen misdadiger en
oorlogsmisdadiger Joe Biden, terwijl de hele goegemeente wat betreft
de reguliere westerse media (en politiek) in het koor van de VS wolven mee huilden en
Sanders als onverantwoordelijk en socialist bestempelden, ik las zelfs een paar keer
dat hij voor communist werd versleten en dat staat in de VS gelijk aan vloeken in de kerk….. 

Sanders zou bijvoorbeeld
veel te veel geld uittrekken voor scholing, studie en medische hulp (ja ook in de Nederlandse media durfde men dit te schrijven),
terwijl de psychopathische gek Trump intussen bijna 750 miljard
dollar per jaar uitgeeft aan oorlogsvoering……. Waar diezelfde
media met de VS mee klagen dat we te weinig uitgeven aan defensie (in
NAVO verband), terwijl de VS zo’n honderdvijftig miljard uitgeeft aan alleen al meer
dan 800 militaire bases over de wereld….. Waar dit bedrag ver wordt overtroffen door alle
illegale oorlogen die het is aangegaan: oorlogen die alleen deze
eeuw al dik meer dan 2,5 miljoen mensen het leven heeft gekost, ofwel
enorme massamoorden begaan onder bevel van de VS…**

Lullig
dat je niet het hele PDF kan lezen, daar moet je voor betalen,
terwijl dit wel degelijk een zeer ernstige zaak is, die niet genoeg
aan de mens kan worden gebracht: de hoogste tijd dat de hele wereld
de VS ziet zoals het is: verreweg de grootste terreurentiteit op
aarde!!!

Oppressive Governments Supported by the U.S. Government

A dictator is a single individual
who possesses such extreme power over a government that some people
refer to it as “absolute power.” There are degrees of
dictatorship, or — if you prefer — individuals who are partially
dictators or somewhat dictatorial. Oppressive governments that
restrict liberties, deny participation, and abuse human rights
overlap considerably, but not entirely, with dictatorships. Because
there are more studies and rankings of oppressive governments than of
dictatorships, and because the problem is the oppression, not who
does it, I’m going to look for a moment at some lists of oppressive
governments, before turning to the subject of the dictators who run
many of them.

In 2017, Rich Whitney wrote an
article for Truthout.org called “U.S.
Provides Military Assistance to 73 Percent of World’s
Dictatorships.”

Whitney was using the word
“dictatorships” as a rough approximation of “oppressive
governments.” His source for a list of the oppressive governments
of the world was Freedom House. He intentionally chose this
U.S.-based and U.S.-government-funded organization despite the clear
U.S.-government bias in some of its decisions. Freedom House has been
widely
criticized, not merely for being funded by one government (plus
funding from a few allied governments) while producing rankings of
governments, and not merely for slanting its criticism against
U.S.-designated enemies and in favor of U.S.-designated allies, but
also for taking U.S. funding to engage in secretive activities in
Iran and to support a chosen candidate in Ukraine. These are all good
reasons to look at Freedom House’s list of the nations that it
labels “not free.” This is as nearly as possible the United
States government’s own view of other countries, even as it
includes very restrained criticism of the United States’ own
domestic policies. A list from Freedom House can be augmented, and is
below, with the U.S. State Department’s own description
of each country’s human rights abuses.

Freedom House ranks
nations as “free,” “partly free,” and “not free.”
These rankings are supposedly based on civil liberties and political
rights within a country, with apparently no consideration of a
country’s impact on the rest of the world. That is to say, a
country could be spreading freedom across the globe and score very
low, or be spreading oppression around the globe and score very high,
based purely on its domestic policies.

Freedom House does not, however,
limit itself to dictatorships. Some of the factors
it considers involve the legitimacy and power of a national
leader, but if a government fully controlled by a large body severely
oppresses the public, then that government ought to be labeled “Not
Free” by Freedom House despite not being a dictatorship in the
sense of being dominated by a single person.

Freedom House deems the following
50 countries (taking from Freedom House’s list only countries and
not territories) to be “not free”: Afghanistan, Algeria, Angola,
Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belarus, Brunei, Burundi, Cambodia, Cameroon,
Central African Republic, Chad, China, Democratic Republic of Congo
(Kinshasa), Republic of Congo (Brazzaville), Cuba, Djibouti, Egypt,
Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Gabon, Iran, Iraq,
Kazakhstan, Laos, Libya, Mauritania, Nicaragua, North Korea, Oman,
Qatar, Russia, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan,
Syria, Tajikistan, Thailand, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uganda, United
Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, Venezuela, Vietnam, Yemen.

The U.S. government allows,
arranges for, or in some cases even provides the funding for, U.S.
weapons sales to 41 of these countries. That’s 82 percent. To
produce this figure, I have looked at U.S. weapons sales between 2010
and 2019 as documented by either the Stockholm
International Peace Research Institute Arms Trade Database, or by
the U.S. military in a document titled “Foreign
Military Sales, Foreign Military Construction Sales And Other
Security Cooperation Historical Facts: As of September 30, 2017.”
Here are the 41: Afghanistan, Algeria, Angola, Azerbaijan, Bahrain,
Brunei, Burundi, Cambodia, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad,
China, Democratic Republic of Congo (Kinshasa), Republic of Congo
(Brazzaville), Djibouti, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Eswatini
(formerly Swaziland), Ethiopia, Gabon, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Libya,
Mauritania, Nicaragua, Oman, Qatar, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, Sudan,
Syria, Tajikistan, Thailand, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uganda, United
Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Yemen.

Remember, this is a list of nations
that an organization funded by the U.S. government designates “not
free” but to which the United States is shipping deadly weapons.
And this is 82% of the “not free” nations, which hardly looks
like a case of a few “bad apples.” On the contrary, it almost
looks like a consistent policy. One is more inclined to look for an
explanation of why the 82% is not 100% than why it’s not 0%. In
fact, of the nine “not free” nations to which the United States
is not shipping weapons, the majority of them (Cuba, Iran, North
Korea, Russia, and Venezuela) are nations commonly designated as
enemies by the U.S. government, offered as justifications for budget
increases by the Pentagon, demonized by the U.S. media, and targeted
with significant sanctions (and in some cases attempted coups and
threats of war). These countries’ status as designated enemies
also, in the view of some critics of Freedom House, has a lot to do
with how some of them got onto the list of “not free” rather than
“partly free” nations.

Beyond selling and giving weapons
to oppressive governments, the U.S. government also shares with them
advanced weapons technology. This includes such extreme examples as
the CIA giving nuclear bomb plans to Iran,
the Trump Administration seeking to share nuclear technology with
Saudi
Arabia, and the U.S. military basing nuclear weapons in Turkey
even as Turkey fights against U.S.-backed fighters in Syria and
threatens to close NATO bases, as well as spreading drone
technology around the world.

Now, let’s take the list of 50
oppressive governments and check which ones the United States
government provides military training to. There are varying levels of
such support, ranging from teaching a single course for four students
to providing numerous courses for thousands of trainees. The United
States provides military training of one sort or another to 44 out of
50, or 88 percent. I base this on finding such trainings listed in
either 2017 or 2018 in one or both of these sources: The U.S. State
Department’s Foreign
Military Training Report: Fiscal Years 2017 and 2018: Joint Report to
Congress Volumes I and II,
and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)’s
Congressional
Budget Justification: FOREIGN ASSISTANCE: SUPPLEMENTARY TABLES:
Fiscal Year 2018. 

Here are the 44: Afghanistan, Algeria, Angola,
Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belarus, Brunei, Burundi, Cambodia, Cameroon,
Central African Republic, Chad, China, Democratic Republic of Congo
(Kinshasa), Republic of Congo (Brazzaville), Djibouti, Egypt,
Eswatini (formerly Swaziland), Ethiopia, Gabon, Iran, Iraq,
Kazakhstan, Laos, Libya, Mauritania, Nicaragua, Oman, Qatar, Russia,
Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, South Sudan, Tajikistan, Thailand,
Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uganda, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan,
Venezuela, Vietnam, Yemen.

Once again, this list does not seem
like a few statistical oddities, but more like an established policy.
The handful of exceptions again include Cuba and North Korea for
obvious reasons. The reason they include Syria in this case and not
in the case of weapons sales is because of the dates I restricted
this search to. The United States went from arming and working with
the Syrian government to trying to overthrow it (by arming and
working with rebels in Syria rather than with the government).

I suspect that many in the United
States did not know that in 2019, these many years after September
11, 2001, the U.S. military was training Saudi fighters to fly
airplanes in Florida until one of them made the news
by shooting up a classroom.

In addition, the history of
U.S.-provided military training to foreign soldiers, through
facilities like the School of the
Americas (renamed Western Hemisphere Institute for Security
Cooperation) provides an established pattern of not just supporting
oppressive governments, but of helping to bring them into being
through coups.

Now let’s take one more run
through the list of 50 oppressive governments, because in addition to
selling (or giving) them weapons and training them, the U.S.
government also provides funding directly to foreign militaries. Of
the 50 oppressive governments, as listed by Freedom House, 32 receive
“foreign military financing” or other funding for military
activities from the U.S. government, with — it’s extremely safe
to say — less outrage in the U.S. media or from U.S. tax payers
than we hear over providing food to people in the United States who
are hungry. I base this list on the United States Agency for
International Development (USAID)’s Congressional
Budget Justification: FOREIGN ASSISTANCE: SUMMARY TABLES: Fiscal Year
2017, and Congressional
Budget Justification: FOREIGN ASSISTANCE: SUPPLEMENTARY TABLES:
Fiscal Year 2018. Here are the 33: Afghanistan, Algeria, Angola,
Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belarus, Cambodia, Central African Republic,
China, Democratic Republic of Congo (Kinshasa), Djibouti, Egypt,
Eswatini (formerly Swaziland), Ethiopia, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Laos,
Libya, Mauritania, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan,
Syria, Tajikistan, Thailand, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uganda,
Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Yemen.

Out of 50 oppressive governments,
the United States militarily supports in at least one of the three
ways discussed above 48 of them or 96 percent, all but the tiny
designated enemies of Cuba and North Korea. With some of them, the
U.S. military goes further than we have yet discussed in its
relations and support for these oppressive regimes. In these
countries, the United States bases
a significant number of its own troops (i.e. over 100): Afghanistan,
Bahrain, Cuba, Egypt, Iraq, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria*, Thailand,
Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates. Technically Cuba is in this
list, but it is a different case from the others. The United States
keeps troops in Cuba in defiance of Cuban opposition and decidedly
not in support of the Cuban government. Of course, Iraq has now asked
the U.S. troops to leave, putting it in a position closer to Cuba’s.

In some cases, the military
engagement goes further. The U.S. military is fighting a war in
partnership with Saudi Arabia against the people of Yemen, and
fighting wars in Iraq and Afghanistan in support of oppressive
governments (as described by Freedom House and by the U.S. State
Department) that were created by U.S.-led wars. Governments created
by foreign occupations are oppressive and corrupt and tend to have an
interest in keeping wars going in order to keep arms and dollars and
troops flowing their way from the United States. Yet, the Iraqi
government has asked the U.S. military to get out, and talks of a
possible peace agreement in Afghanistan continue to percolate.

At the same time, the United States
enacts Trump’s Muslim ban, restricting
travel from numerous nations that the United States arms,
including Eritrea, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen. One
wouldn’t want any dangerously armed people traveling.

Another source for a list of
dictatorships is the CIA-funded Political
Instability Task Force (PITF). As of 2018, this group identified 21
nations as autocracies, 23 as closed anocracies (anocracies being
mixtures of autocracy and democracy), and the rest as open
anocracies, democracies, or full democracies. The 21 autocracies are:
Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belarus, China, Equatorial Guinea,
Eritrea, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Laos, North Korea, Oman, Qatar,
Saudi Arabia, Eswatini (formerly Swaziland), Syria, Turkmenistan,
United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, Vietnam. This adds Bangladesh and
Kuwait to the list of nations we are looking at. The U.S. military
supports those two and all of the others listed here, except North
Korea.

So we’re looking at a list of 50
oppressive governments. Is it the right list? Should some nations be
removed and others added? And which are dictatorships, and who are
the dictators?

Ten tijde van de door de VS georganiseerde opstand in 2011 was Assad
nog niet democratisch gekozen, dat gebeurde in 2014 in door
internationale waarnemers als eerlijk en goed verlopen beoordeelde verkiezingen,
waarbij Assad met overweldigende meerderheid werd gekozen….. Zoals aangegeven in het artikel hierboven, de VS heeft eerder de Syrische staat gesteund echter dat was ver voor 2006 toen de VS begon met het plannen van een opstand in Syrië, die moest leiden tot een staatsgreep tegen Assad, een plan dat zoals we weten is mislukt…. Als reactie op die mislukking hebben de VS en Egypte (met hulp van Saoedi-Arabië) een groot aantal jihadstrijders van o.a. IS (ISIS) en Al Qaida van Libië naar Irak vervoert en hen daar met oorlogstuig over de grens met Syrië begeleid, zodat zij tegen de regering Assad konden vechten, de rest is geschiedenis, een geschiedenis die volgepropt zit met barbaarsheden tegen de bevolkingen van landen in het Midden-Oosten, massamoorden, enorme hoeveelheden vluchtelingen die geen kant op kunnen en terreuraanslagen op Europese straten…….(nogmaals als gevolg van grootschalige westerse terreur in landen waar dat westen niets, maar dan ook helemaal niets heeft te zoeken!!)

** Illegale oorlogen waar ook Nederland
aan mee heeft gedaan en dat ten koste van ons belastinggeld, waardoor
ook wij terreur op de straten hebben gekweekt en mogelijk nog meer
terreur kunnen verwachten…. Om nog maar te zwijgen over het feit dat die Nederlandse steun mede
verantwoordelijkheid is voor enorme groep arme donders die deze
illegale oorlogen zijn ontvlucht en die niet worden opgenomen door de landen die in hun moederland oorlogen zijn begonnen, dan wel deze oorlogen steunen (de VS met hulp van andere NAVO-lidstaten)…….

Vluchtelingen in VS moeten verplicht in therapie, waarna hun woorden worden misbruikt t.b.v. deportatie

Weer een
staaltje onmenselijkheid waar je doodziek van wordt, het bericht
van het Care2 team waarin wordt aangegeven dat de VS overheid jonge vluchtelingen
verplicht in therapie te gaan. Wat er wordt besproken tijdens die
therapie wordt op een later tijdstip doodleuk misbruikt om deze jonge
vluchtelingen te deporteren…..

De
jongeren spreken uiteraard over hun angsten en de verschrikkingen die
ze meemaakten voordat ze de VS grens bereikten. ICE is de
overheidsorganisatie die al verantwoordelijk was voor het scheiden van
ouders en kinderen, die deze kinderen vervolgens verdeelde over de
VS, zodat de ouders niet meer wisten waar hun kinderen verbleven…..
(waar ouders en kinderen werden geplaatst in wat het best vergeleken kan worden met concentratiekampen…..) Ik spreek in de verleden tijd, echter als ik het goed heb begrepen
gebeurt dit nog steeds…..

Datzelfde
ICE dwingt nu de functionarissen die de therapie geven hun vertrouwelijke documenten over de
jonge vluchtelingen aan hen over te dragen…… Dit is zonder meer een ernstige schending van mensenrechten……. 

Eén en ander is overigens een grove schending van het VN Vluchtelingenverdrag door de VS, waar ook de EU zich schuldig aan maakt….

Het
Care2 team is een petitie gestart om een eind aan deze
walgelijke situatie te maken, jammer genoeg kunnen wij deze petitie
niet tekenen. In de tekst die de petitie begeleidt, geeft Care2 het
voorbeeld van een jongen die volkomen terecht met zijn zus uit
Honduras vluchtte richting VS. De vreselijke ervaringen van de jongen
werden misbruikt om hem te kunnen deporteren…..

Wellicht
denk je waarom zou je dit bericht brengen als je toch niet kan
tekenen, echter het is van het allergrootste belang dat men
wereldwijd weet wat de VS ook in eigen land aan terreur
uitvreet….. Daarnaast komen veel vluchtelingen naar de VS, juist
vanwege het ingrijpen van de VS in Latijns-Amerika, zoals de coup in
Honduras*, die de mensen daar zo enorm veel ellende heeft bezorgd,
hetzelfde geldt nu voor Bolivia waar de democratisch gekozen
president Evo Morales werd afgezet middels een door de CIA opgezette opstand en
staatsgreep…….

Kortom
de VS zorgt ervoor dat mensen op de vlucht slaan en pakt ze
vervolgens uiterst inhumaan aan, een methode die zoals gezegd niets
anders is dan ijskoude, misdadige terreur……

Refugees
are being forced to go to therapy, then their words are used to
deport them. Sign to demand an end to this cruel practice.

Under
the United State’s Office of Refugee Resettlement’s (ORR)
policy, minors are required to meet with counselors within 72
hours of entering the system. They are then required to meet with
one every week until they are released — or deported. These
young patients often tell counselors their deepest feers and
confessions. Ostensibly, this is to help these children deal with
the trauma they have likely endured during their journey to the
United States. But
Trump’s ICE has been forcing therapists to hand over their therapy
notes and then using them to leverage the deportation of these
minors.

Sign
to demand an end to the policy that allows Immigration and Customs
Enforcement (ICE) officials to use detained children’s therapy
notes in order to deport them.

What
would be a violation of doctor-patient confidentiality in any
other situation is simply considered “information sharing”
between agencies when it comes to ICE and ORR.

In
one case, Kevin, a young Honduran boy who arrived in the states
unaccompanied with his sister, was detained and then obligated to
speak to a counselor about his past. He told the therapist some of
the nightmare he experienced after his grandmother passed and the
vicious gang MS-13 occupied their home. They slept in his bed,
tortured rival gang members on his patio, and eventually forced
him to sell drugs for the brutal organization. That
is why he decided to escape to the United States.

ICE
decided to take this deeply personal and traumatic information and
run with it — to fight any claim Kevin had to refugee status.
This isn’t right. What ICE and ORR are doing is a disgrace. They
are forcing children to reveal their darkest moments and forcing
counselors to be complicit in their xenophobic deportation plan.
It must end.

Sign
the petition and demand an end to the policy that allows ICE, ORR,
or any other department to use confidential therapy notes against
refugee detainees.

was voor velen al lang duidelijk dat president Evo Morales met
smerige aantijgingen gevolgd door een staatsgreep werd afgezet…… MIT wetenschappers hebben na een onderzoek geconcludeerd dat de verkiezingen in Bolivia
volledig volgens de regels zijn verlopen, ofwel de landen verenigd in
de Organisatie van Amerikaanse Staten (OAS) hebben moedwillig leugens de wereld ingeholpen om Evo Morales
af te kunnen zetten…. Belachelijk genoeg heeft deze organisatie ook gezorgd voor de waarnemers die de verkiezingen in de gaten hielden en daarbij hebben zij gefraudeerd, niet Morales…… 

Zoals gezegd: Evo Morales werd vorig jaar door leger en politie
gedwongen af te treden, ofwel dit was het resultaat van een staatsgreep* en niet zoals o.a. de ‘onafhankelijke NOS’
durft te beweren als zou hij zelf zijn opgestapt…. Morales werd
gedwongen in een militair vliegtuig plaats te nemen en werd vervolgens uitgezet naar Mexico……

Evo
Morales was een uiterst succesvolle president die voor de grote arme onderlaag in Bolivia met succes een alfabetiseringsprogramma op poten heeft gezet. Morales heeft een eind aan de ergste armoede gemaakt
in zijn land (armoede in diezelfde grote onderlaag van de Boliviaanse maatschappij). Voorts heeft Morales het land economisch sterk vooruit
geholpen, o.a. door een eind te maken het stelen van de
Boliviaanse grondstoffen door buitenlandse bedrijven…..

Dat
laatste, de nationalisering van buitenlandse bedrijven, o.a. uit de VS) was samen met de bestrijding van armoede de reden voor de CIA
om een opstand te organiseren onder NB de minderheid van het
Boliviaanse volk……. De witte minderheid** heeft altijd geregeerd, waarbij de grote meerderheid, de
oorspronkelijke bevolking, eronder werd gehouden op uiterst walgelijke en gewelddadige
manier….. Morales zelf behoort dan ook tot die
grote meerderheid…..

Nu
blijkt dat (zoals gezegd) wat velen al wisten nu ook nog eens via onverdachte kant
is bevestigd (MIT): de zogenaamde fraude in de Boliviaanse verkiezingen, die
door Morales werden gewonnen, bestaat eenvoudigweg niet……

is een petitie begonnen die het congres in de VS moet aanzetten tot
onderzoek naar deze nieuwe feiten en ten tweede dat de VN waarnemers
stuurt die de komende verkiezingen moeten monitoren en niet de OAS die in feite wordt bestuurd door de VS…… Beetje
naïef van Codepink: immers een aantal vertegenwoordigers van Morales
regering zijn gevangen gezet (het is maar de vraag of ze nog
leven…), terwijl Morales is gevlucht naar Argentinië en hij zal zeker niet mee mogen doen aan de verkiezingen…. Ofwel de komende verkiezingen
zijn al dusdanig gemanipuleerd dat de partij van Morales nooit kan
winnen, met of zonder internationale VN waarnemers……***

Gelukkig kunnen ook wij de petitie tekenen, lees de petitie en doe dat ajb en geeft het door! Vertel anderen
hoe de vork werkelijk in de Boliviaanse steel steekt, daar ook onze
reguliere media mee hebben gedaan aan het demoniseren van
Morales….. Aan dit walgelijke onrecht moet een einde
komen en Morales zou zonder nieuwe verkiezingen weer in het zadel
moeten worden geholpen!!

scientists just confirmed what many had been saying all along: there
was no fraud in Bolivia’s October 2019 election! This means that
the OAS lied and helped overthrow President Evo Morales. Let’s tell
Congress to investigate the OAS and ask for UN monitors for the May 3
elections!

MIT
scientists just published a report, as well as an article in the
Washington Post, confirming that there was no fraud in Bolivia’s
2019 presidential election. This means that the OAS, which pushed the
fraud narrative, needs to be held accountable for its role in
overthrowing the legitimately elected president of Bolivia, Evo
Morales.

Bolivians
will go to the polls on May 3 to hold new elections. Guess who will
once again serve as election monitors? The OAS. Let’s stand
alongside Bolivians to insist that there should be no more
interference in their elections. 

Join
us by asking Congress to take two important steps: 1) investigate the
OAS’s role in the Bolivia coup and 2) ask the United Nations, not
the OAS, to monitor the May 3 elections. 

In
the days after the October elections in Bolivia, the OAS attempted to
delegitimize them by implying they were fraudulent, leading to
violent protests by the Bolivian right—who never liked Evo Morales
to begin with. After President Morales invited the OAS to conduct a
full audit, the OAS instead released a preliminary audit ahead of
schedule. The timing of this preliminary report occurred as rumors of
a coup were swirling; on the same day of its release, the head of the
military demanded and received President Morales’ forced
resignation, finalizing the coup. The final OAS audit, released a
month later, contained no new information and repeated all of the
OAS’s previous falsehoods. The claims of fraud have been debunked
by electoral experts at MIT, the Center for Economic and Policy
Research, and over a hundred other academics who signed an open
letter criticizing the OAS for its false claims.

Although
rehashing something that happened months ago might seem pointless, we
have to keep in mind that the OAS plans to monitor Bolivia’s new
presidential elections on May 3. The OAS has already proven that it
is not an objective actor; it tilted the balance in favor of the
Bolivian right-wing and can do so again. Given that about 60% of OAS
funding comes from the United States, Congress has the responsibility
to take action and ensure that Bolivia’s elections are free of
foreign interference.

The
United Nations, the only impartial body capable of fairly monitoring
the Bolivian elections, should be urged to take action and the OAS’s
bias must be investigated. Let’s tell Congress to do just that!

witnessed the horrible aftermath of a massacre of indigenous
anti-coup protesters. The coup government has engaged in mass

BBC World Service brengt ronduit propaganda over de strijd in Oost-Oekraïne

In het radionieuws van 14.00 u. (CET) meldde BBC World Service dat 2 Oekraïense militairen zijn omgekomen bij een aanval van ‘Russian backed rebels…*‘ Daarmee legt de BBC geheel ten overvloede nog eens de schuld bij Rusland voor de situatie in Oekraïne….. Echter dat was het nog niet beste bezoeker, de nieuwslezer vervolgde met te zeggen dat de ‘Russian backed rebels’ volgens het Oekraïense leger de wapenstilstand hebben geschonden, waarna nog net de opmerking eraf kon dat de ‘flair up’ (het oplaaien van de strijd) volgens de ‘Russian backed rebels’ de schuld is van het Oekraïense leger…..

Nooit zal je op de BBC horen dat er neonazi bataljons vechten in Oost-Oekraïne**, zoals je eerder nooit hoorde dat deze neonazi-bataljons en de rest van het Oekraïense leger de ene na de andere wapenstilstand hebben geschonden (akkoorden van Minsk) en de steden in dat deel van Oekraïne bleven bestoken…..***

De BBC is onderdeel van de reguliere westerse (massa-) media en daarmee onderdeel van deze totaal afhankelijke media, waar men met het grootste gemak de smerigste leugens als waarheid verkoopt en in feite voor een flink deel alleen propaganda brengt die het westen goed uitkomt…… Vergeet niet dat de VS in de persoon van Hillary Clinton 4 miljard dollar heeft geïnvesteerd in de opstand die een eind moest maken aan het bewind van de democratisch gekozen president Janoekovytsj, een staatsgreep volgens het CIA-boekje en die dit keer wel is ‘geslaagd…’ Overigens is ook Obama verantwoordelijk voor deze toch bloedige staatsgreep, Obama de oorlogsmisdadiger die de Nobelprijs voor de Vrede kreeg……

Voor al deze zaken is meer dan voldoende bewijs te vinden, echter bewijs dat met opzet wordt genegeerd door de hiervoor aangewezen media en de westerse politiek…….. Rusland zal en moet hangen…….

 

Moordenaar van Soleimani komt om bij neerhalen van VS spionage vliegtuig in Afghanistan

Michael
D’Andrea, de CIA topfiguur belast met geheime operaties tegen Irak,
Iran en Afghanistan, is omgekomen nadat ‘zijn CIA vliegtuig’ werd
neergehaald in Afghanistan, een zaak die wordt geclaimd door de
Taliban. Uiteraard wordt er gespeculeerd dat Iran achter het
neerhalen van dit vliegtuig zit, echter dat is zeer onwaarschijnlijk,
daar de Taliban soennitisch is en spuugt op sjiieten…….

De
Russische geheime dienst heeft bekendgemaakt dat D’Andra aan boord
van het vliegtuig was en gezien de professionaliteit van die geheime
dienst is het vrijwel zeker dat D’Andrea inderdaad aan boord was van
dat neergehaalde CIA vliegtuig.

D’Andrea
is niet alleen verantwoordelijk voor de moord op Soleimani, maar ook voor de 300 vermoorde demonstranten in Irak….. Gezien zijn mede
verantwoordelijkheid voor acties tegen Iran, is het zeer
waarschijnlijk dat D’Andrea tevens verantwoordelijk is voor de
gewelddadige demonstraties in Iran….. (De VS gaf vorig jaar toe dat
het al jaren bezig is met het organiseren van onrust in Iran, dit met
het doel het bewind in Teheran te doen vallen…)

Gezien
de zaken die aan D’Andrea worden toegeschreven is het logisch te
concluderen dat hij ook verantwoordelijk is voor een aantal ‘false
flag*‘ operaties in het Midden-Oosten……

Ongelofelijk weer dat er amper media waren in Nederland die dit bericht brachten, waarschijnlijk dachten de hoofdredacties dat het beter is niet te spreken over de smerige operaties van de VS in het Midden-Oosten, dat in brand werd gezet door de VS met hulp van de haar hielenlikkende NAVO-partners, waaronder Nederland……

Afghanistan, has been killed in Taliban’s shoot-down of a US
military plane in Ghazni.

website reports, quoting Russian intelligence sources.

Also known as
Ayatollah Mike, D’Andrea is the most prominent figure of the CIA
intelligence in the region.

Since 2017, D’
Andrea has run the CIA’s false flag and assassination programs in
the Middle East, allegedly responsible not only for the
murder of General Soleimani but the killing of 300 Iraqi
demonstrators as well.

Michael
D’Andrea, a CIA agent who oversaw the hunt for Osama bin Laden, has
been named as the new chief of Iran operations at the US Central
Intelligence Agency.

The US military has
acknowledged the loss of a Bombardier/Northrop Grumman E-11A plane in
central Afghanistan. They added that they have not found any
“indication” that the aircraft was downed.

The aircraft crashed
in Ghazni city area on Monday. An investigation into the incident is
underway and the military will provide further information when its
available, a spokesman for the
US force in Afghanistan, Col. Sonny Leggett has tweeted.

The official also
dismissed Taliban claims that another aircraft had crashed in the
country, describing them as “false.” Earlier in the day, the
Taliban said that a military helicopter went down in the east of the
country shortly after the plane crash. The militant group did not
provide any details of the alleged incident, nor did they specify to
whom the helicopter belonged.**

There has been some
confusion as to whether Taliban militants have claimed responsibility
for the plane crash. Their initial statement in Pushtu
only stated that the plane had gone down.

The
Bombardier/Northrop Grumman E-11A is a surveillance and
communications plane. Footage from the scene showing the wreckage has
been circulating on social media, and photos that appear to show a
plane with the same serial number have been unearthed.

Videos showed the
shell of the plane ablaze on the ground. It was largely destroyed in
the fire with only its tail section surviving the crash.

Journalists have made
it to the scene of a plane crash in Afghanistan, snapping pictures of
the wreckage and even some documents. It comes as the US Air Force’s
chief of staff all but confirmed the loss of the military plane.

Footage from the scene
shows that the aircraft burned upon the impact, with only its tail
section remaining largely intact.

VS valt door de mand als organisator protesten in Irak waarbij meer dan 300 mensen werden vermoord

Dat de
VS Qassem Soleimani heeft vermoord is voor niemand een geheim,
echter uit nieuwe informatie blijkt dat de VS (CIA) verantwoordelijk is
voor de organisatie van de protesten en rellen die eind 2019
plaatsvonden in Irak…… De VS is tevens verantwoordelijk voor de
moord op de meer dan 300 demonstranten tijdens die protesten en
rellen, waarmee wordt bedoelt dat de VS direct verantwoordelijk is
voor die moorden (ofwel: die moorden werden niet gepleegd door de Iraakse overheid als gevolg van ingrijpen tegen die door de VS georganiseerde
protesten en rellen, maar de VS is daadwerkelijk direct verantwoordelijk voor het vermoorden van 300
Iraakse demonstranten…)…..

Het
voorgaande, dus de moord op demonstranten, is een zaak die de VS ook
al vaker heeft gebruikt, neem het Egyptische Caïro in 2009, Libië in 2011 en
Oekraïne in 2014 (op het Maidanplein)…… In 2 gevallen
had deze terreurtactiek succes en moest het bewind aftreden ten
gunste van een regering die de VS welgevallig was….. Over Libië moet gezegd worden dat er grote NAVO bombardementen plaatsvonden en dat meerdere terreurgroepen (waaronder ISIS) werden geholpen door de NAVO, tijdens die ongebreidelde terreur werd Khadaffi de president op een walgelijke manier vermoord en werd het land van het rijkste op het Afrikaanse continent bijna het armste, volledig leegestolen door de VS, Groot Brittannië en Frankrijk…… In het geval van
Caïro had het westen, met de VS voorop, niet verwacht dat de Moslim Broederschap aan het
bewind zou komen middels verkiezingen, wat tot een coup van het leger leidde, gegarandeerd met
hulp van de CIA….. (terwijl de VS eerder zogenaamd blij was met het afzetten van dictator Moebarak en dat de democratie had gezegevierd in Egypte….)   

De moord
op Soleimani was niet slechts een domme zet van Trump en een paar van
zijn haviken, zoals velen concludeerden, maar diende wel degelijk een
ander doel, aldus Gordon Duff, die het hieronder opgenomen artikel
schreef dat werd gepubliceerd op Information ClearingHouse. Voorts stelt Duff, een Vietnamveteraan, dat het
bezetten door de VS van opium en olierijke landen niet alleen het
eerste belang is van de VS….. (hoewel uiteraard zeker belangrijk)

De moord
op Soleimani heeft val alles te maken met de eerder aangehaalde
protesten en rellen in Irak, die de Iraakse premier (Abdul-) Mahdi eind
november 2019 tot aftreden deed besluiten…. Mahdi was een jaar aan
het bewind en hij ging de ‘endemische’ corruptie te lijf, corruptie die elk land
treft waar de VS haar bloedige poten heeft neergezet……. Voor de
illegale inval en oorlog van de VS tegen Irak was de soennitische
minderheid aan het bewind, na de inval van de VS namen de sjiieten
langzaam maar zeker het bestuur van Irak over. Om de sjiieten van
Irak te helpen in de strijd tegen de soennieten, die uiteraard de
macht wilden behouden, vertrok Soleimani in 2003 naar Irak om daar
sjiitische milities te organiseren tot wat de Popular Mobilization Forces (PMU) ging heten en nu
onderdeel is van het Iraakse leger, deze milities vochten naast het
VS leger…….

Kortom
Trump en zijn haviken Pompeo en Esper stelden dat
Soleimani destijds VS burgers
en militairen vermoordde, terwijl hij in werkelijkheid zij aan
zij vocht met de VS…… Pas toen het in 2007 duidelijk werd
dat de VS oorlog zocht met Iran veranderde de relatie van Soleimani
met de VS, iets waar Duff niet verder op ingaat in zijn artikel.

Mahdi
wilde en wil af van de VS troepen in zijn land en daarmee met de corruptie, daar de VS hulp aan
Irak voor een deel in de zakken van politieke baasjes verdween…… De VS
deed vrijwel niets tegen ISIS (IS), dat is ook de mening van veel
Irakezen, die stellen dat de VS terreurgroep IS naar Irak heeft
gebracht, puur en alleen om de macht van de sjiieten in dat land te
breken (niet alleen vervoerden de VS en Saoedi-Arabië IS leden door
het Midden-Oosten, maar ze leverden hen ook wapens, munitie en
rollend oorlogstuig, zoveel is zeker…) Mahdi wilde daarom bepaald niet in
de laatste plaats van de VS troepen af, of vanwege de door de VS in stand gehouden corruptie, maar ook daar de VS van Irak eiste dat het voor de wederopbouw van
het land 50% van de opbrengsten
kreeg…. (een wederopbouw waar veel grote VS bedrijven lucratieve deals kregen
toegewezen door de eerder aangeduide corrupte baasjes…) Volgens mij is Duff een paar zinnen vergeten want even
later stelt hij dat Mahdi daarom een deal met China heeft gesloten, een
deal die wel lucratief was voor Irak….

Na het
lucratieve bezoek van Mahdi aan China, braken er rellen uit in Irak
en het is zeker dat de VS daar achter zat, sterker nog: Trump heeft
Mahdi openlijk gedreigd met grote demonstraties in zijn land als het
akkoord voor o.a. wederopbouw met China niet zou worden
verscheurd…. Echter Mahdi bond niet in en inderdaad in Irak vonden
grote demonstraties plaats, waarop Trump weer contact opnam met
Mahdi en nu dreigde scherpschutters in te zetten die dood en verderf
zouden zaaien onder de demonstranten en onder de politie, zodat de demonstranten
nog harder tekeer zouden gaan tegen Mahdi en zijn regering, daarop trad Mahdi af (echter is nog steeds premier tot er een opvolger is gevonden of gekozen)….. 

De
Iraakse minister van defensie gaf in het openbaar terecht ‘een derde
partij’ de schuld voor de 300 doden die tijdens de protesten en rellen zijn gevallen, waarop Trump weer contact opnam met
Mahdi en deze te verstaan gaf, dat zowel hijzelf als de minister van
defensie niet langer over een derde partij mochten spreken (voor iedereen
was het duidelijk dat het om de VS moest gaan), daar ze anders
vermoord zouden worden….

Op de
dag dat Soleimani werd vermoord zou hij een afspraak hebben gehad met
Mahdi en waar hij een Iraans antwoord zou geven op de vraag van
Saoedi-Arabië de boel niet te laten escaleren in het Midden-Oosten,
daar men niet nog een oorlog wenste in het al verscheurde
Midden-Oosten (waarbij Saoedi-Arabië NB zelf verantwoordelijk is
voor de genocide die in Jemen wordt uitgevoerd en tevens verantwoordelijk was en is voor de strijd van een aantal terreurgroepen in Irak, waaronder IS…..)…. Mahdi zou
dat antwoord doorgeven aan S-A…..

Saoedi-Arabië
zat ook in de maag met de moord op Soleimani door de VS en was van
tevoren niet gewaarschuwd dat deze (terreur-) aanslag zou
plaatsvinden, niet vreemd dus dat S-A een delegatie naar Washington
stuurde om de Trump administratie te manen vooral geen oorlog tegen
Iran te beginnen…….

Information has come to light that indicts the United States not just
for the Soleimani killing but also for the over 300 killings during
the Iraqi protests in late 2019.

In fact,
it can be proven that the United States not only organized the
protests but also is 

responsible for killing protestors as well,
hundreds of them, something we have seen before, Maidan in 2014,
Libya in 2011 and Cairo in 2009.

In each
event, the killings of protestors lead to regime change favorable to
the US. Though evidence of false flag snipers in Maidan is
overwhelming, this is the first real “smoking gun” that clearly
establishes the US military as a terrorist organization.

We begin
our story.

The
Soleimani murder, at the hands of Pompeo, Esper and Trump, was much
more than the simple hubris and ignorance most assume.

It is
also assumed, quite wrongly, that the US occupation of the oil and
opium rich lands of Asia is driven by national interest, at least to
a part, perhaps even a small part. That is false also, patently
false.

The
backstory behind the killing of Soleimani is rooted in the explosive
riots and the mysterious murders that pushed Iraqi Prime Minister
Mahdi to resign on November 30, 2019.

Mahdi
had been in office a year and had been, for the first time,
addressing Iraq’s massive corruption, an endemic problem with any
nation that has the misfortune of being occupied by the United
States.

Iraq has
a Shiite majority that has slowly assumed political dominance after
years of suppression under Saddam Hussein.

In fact,
it was Iranian General Soleimani who came to Iraq in 2003 to organize
the Shiite militias, the current PMU, now part of Iraq’s Army, to
fight alongside American forces that were overthrowing Sunni Baathist
rule.

Trump
claims he had Suleimani murdered for his part in the killing of
Americans during this period, when in fact Suleimani was closely
allied to the US, at least until the US decided to begin a war with
Iran in 2007. However, this is another story for another time, one
also wrought with deception and double-dealing.

Critical
to understanding events is understanding America’s real role in
Iraq. To do that, it is necessary to understand why Iraq’s
parliament voted unanimously to oust American troops.

The
story behind this is much more than the death of Suleimani, far more,
and has been suppressed. That story involves a broader geopolitical
narrative that transpired when Iraq under Mahdi tried to remove
America’s heel from its neck.

Italian
journalist Federico Pieraccini investigated the story behind Mahdi’s
address to parliament, the recorded portion of which in no way
answered any real questions about why Iraq would make such a drastic
move as to expel American troops, ending the billion dollar a year
payoff scheme that fed so many Sunni politicians.

Pieraccini
tells us this:

“[Speaker
of the Council of Representatives of Iraq] Halbousi attended the
parliamentary session while almost none of the Sunni members did.
This was because the Americans had learned that Abdul-Mehdi was
planning to reveal sensitive secrets in the session and sent Halbousi
to prevent this.

Halbousi
cut Abdul-Mehdi off at the commencement of his speech and then asked
for the live airing of the session to be stopped. After this,
Halbousi together with other members, sat next to Abdul-Mehdi,
speaking openly with him but without it being recorded. This is what
was discussed in that session that was not broadcast: 

Abdul-Mehdi
spoke angrily about how the Americans had ruined the country and now
refused to complete infrastructure and electricity grid projects
unless they were promised 50% of oil revenues, which Abdul-Mehdi
refused.”

That
deal with China was the result of Mahdi’s abandoning any attempt to
work with the United States after years of seeing his nation bled
dry.

It is no
secret that the United States had little or no role in fighting ISIS
and, were one to ask the Shia majority of Iraqi citizens, most would
insist that the US brought ISIS to Iraq with Saudi help.

In
meetings with Sunni leaders, held in Baghdad in January 2014, exactly
that was explained to me, how ISIS was to offset Shia influence and
guarantee Iraq would remain under US-Saudi control.

The
Sunni leaders, who controlled key military commands and provincial
governorships, planned to simply turn affairs over to ISIS and, in
fact, did so despite my warnings.

Months
later, several I met with had been beheaded by ISIS. “What goes
around comes around.”

As to
Mahdi’s deal with China, that as we will see, precipitated the
American staged coup, the following from the Middle East Institute:

“Upon
arriving in Beijing on September 19 at the head of a 55-member
delegation, Iraq Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi described the visit
to China as heralding a “quantum leap” in bilateral relations.The
five-day visit culminated in the signing of eight wide-ranging
memoranda of understanding (MoUs), a framework credit agreement,
and the announcement of plans for Iraq to join China’s Belt and
Road Initiative (BRI).Since then, however, a wave of angry
anti-government protests have swept across much of Iraq, leaving more
than 100 dead and thousands wounded — a vivid reminder of the
country’s ongoing struggle for stability and of the obstacles to
the further consolidation of China-Iraq relations.” 

These
anti-government protests are attributed to threats made by Donald
Trump, as we will see in the full text of Mahdi’s address to
parliament, below. The rationale is simple, the China deal was Iraq’s
best effort to address unemployment and economic inequality, why
would someone want to sabotage it?

More on
Mahdi’s leadership below, again from the Middle East Institute:

“Since
early 2018, the central government of Iraq has been working
assiduously to capitalize on the territorial defeat of Da’esh,
which three years earlier had overrun and controlled nearly one-third
of the country. A working relationship between the GOI and the
semi-autonomous Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) has been
reestablished. After repeated delays due to a series of security
incidents the newly constructed Qaim border crossing with Syria has
reopened. Planning for construction of a new crude oil pipeline from
Kirkuk to Turkey is underway.

Yet,
although Iraq has entered a period of relative calm, the country
faces a multitude of challenges.The security situation in the country
is fragile. According to a recent report by the Pentagon, Da’esh
has “solidified its insurgent capabilities in Iraq.” Meanwhile,
the GOI is struggling to maintain a delicate balance in its relations
with key allies US / Saudi Arabia and Iran, as well as to avoid
becoming another front in an escalating Iran-Israel proxy war. On
July 1, Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi issued a decree ordering the
integration of all Iraqi militias, including the Popular Mobilization
Units (PMU).”

Only
with a broader context of events, with an understandable timeline,
can we adequately assess Trump’s blunder here.

But
also, we can only asses the nature of Trump’s methods through an
unedited translation of the nature of the critical exchange between
Trump and Mahdi that led to Soleimani’s murder.

Finally,
the complete address by Abdul Mahdi has been made available, which
now fills the gaps the West has allowed to support the limited
narrative fed to congress.

“This
is why I visited China and signed an important agreement with them to
undertake the construction instead. Upon my return, Trump called me
to ask me to reject this agreement. When I refused, he threatened to
unleash huge demonstrations against me that would end my premiership.

Huge
demonstrations against me duly materialized and Trump called again to
threaten that if I did not comply with his demands, then he would
have Marine snipers on tall buildings target protesters and security
personnel alike in order to pressure me.

I
refused again and handed in my resignation. To this day the Americans
insist on us rescinding our deal with the Chinese.

After
this, when our Minister of Defense publicly stated that a third party
was targeting both protestors and security personnel alike (just as
Trump had threatened, he would do), I received a new call from Trump
threatening to kill both me and the Minister of Defense if we kept on
talking about this “third party”.

I
was supposed to meet him [Soleimani] later in the morning when he was
killed. He came to deliver a message from Iran in response to the
message we had delivered to the Iranians from the Saudis.

The
Kingdom’s statement regarding the events in Iraq stresses the
Kingdom’s view of the importance of de-escalation to save the
countries of the region and their people from the risks of any
escalation.

The
kingdom of Saudi Arabia was not consulted regarding the US strike. In
light of the rapid developments, the Kingdom stresses the importance
of exercising restraint to guard against all acts that may lead to
escalation, with severe consequences.

Saudi
Arabia is sending a delegation to Washington to urge restraint with
Iran on behalf of [Persian] Gulf states. The message will be: ‘Please
spare us the pain of going through another war’.”

It is
also clear that Trump’s hubris in his wild threats against Iraq and
his willingness to murder the foremost military leader in the war on
terror is based on what American author and former CIA officer Robert
David Steele calls the “Cult of West Point Class of 1986”and
Politico calls the “West
Point Mafia.”

Steele
postulates that this single class, a collection of “bad apples”
as it were, has pushed Trump toward one failed endeavor after
another. From Stratfor:

“Since
graduating from the United States Military Academy at West Point in
1986, the careers of Mike Pompeo, Ulrich Brechbuhl, Brian Bulatao,
Mark Esper, David Urban and Mark Green have periodically intersected.
Now they have converged in the Trump administration.”

These
are the geniuses that told Trump Iran had only old Soviet “scud”
type missiles, with liquid fuel, no guidance and poor reliability. Of
course, none have actual military experience other than as “place
holders” and “seat warmers.”

Then the
surprise came, Iran’s missiles rained down on al Asad Air Base,
easily pushing past America’s Patriot missile defense system, “0”
hit. Worse still, the highly advanced solid fuel missiles from Iraq
hit within not yards but within 10 feet of targets, actually much
closer than that.

Similarly,
when missiles plowed into the “consular” facilities, really
weapons warehouses, at Erbil International Airport, in the Kurdish
region of Northern Iraq, the US denied any hits claiming to have shot
down two of three missiles and the other a “wide miss.”

Then, as
is so often the case, American military personnel billeted in the
apartment buildings just south of the facility uploaded their video
to YouTube.

Three
missiles, three direct hits, dramatic explosions, which the Americans
seemed to enjoy immensely.

We now
enter a new world, not just one with America “schooled” but with
America’s actual role exposed, occupier, terrorist and thief.

Amnesty, Human Rights Watch, en massamedia doodstil over moord op journalisten in Bolivia

Kwam op
MintPress News een artikel tegen dat bij mij het
haar rechtop deed staan: Human Rights Watch (HRW) en Amnesty
International hebben druk uitgeoefend om een coup te plegen tegen de
democratisch gekozen president Evo Morales…… Men verdedigde bij
deze mensenrechtenorganisaties de demonstraties tegen Morales, alsof
hij een dictator was, terwijl de werkelijke reden voor deze
gewelddadige demonstraties (georganiseerd door
de CIA die al vaker met deze bijl heeft gehakt) was een coup te
forceren tegen Evo Morales, de vertegenwoordiger en eerste president van de
meerderheid van het Boliviaanse volk, de door de eeuwen heen zo
vervolgde oorspronkelijke bevolking van dit land…..

Een land
dat met Morales voor het eerst werd geregeerd door een lid van de oorspronkelijke
bevolking sinds de witte genocideplegers uit Europa tekeergingen
tegen de oorspronkelijke bevolkingen van Latijns-Amerika…… Er was
geen reden om ontevreden te zijn, het gaat goed met de economie van
Bolivia, mede daar Morales een aantal bedrijven heeft
genationaliseerd en hij een groot aantal Bolivianen uit de armoede
heeft getild….. Dat nationaliseren werkt als een rode lap op een
stier bij de VS, het is daarom ook wel zeker dat de CIA achter de
coup zit, mede daar het leger aanvankelijk wel achter Morales stond, waar de CIA altijd korte lijntjes heeft met conservatieve krachten in de militaire machten en politie organisaties van de meeste landen in
Latijns-Amerika…

Schunnig
genoeg is één van de slachtoffers die na de coup viel, de
Argentijnse journalist Sebastian Moro (één van de vermoorde journalisrten….)…. Hij werd bewusteloos gevonden
nadat hij door regeringsgetrouwe fascisten in elkaar werd geslagen, 6
dagen later overleed hij in het ziekenhuis aan zijn
verwondingen……

Sebastian
Moro was één van de journalisten die de coup tegen Morales zo
noemden (zelfs onze ‘onafhankelijke’ zendgemachtigde NOS spreekt van
‘opstappen….’). Hij liet zich geen zand in de ogen strooien en belazerde het publiek niet, zoals
zoveel westerse media wel hebben gedaan….. Als je de leugens moest
geloven was Morales een bloedige dictator, daar politie en leger hard
optraden tegen de gewelddadige protesten…. Iets dat de politie hier en
elders in het westen ook zou doen, maar ja wij hebben geen socialist
als president…….

Hoe is
het mogelijk dat Amnesty, HRW en de reguliere westerse media wel de
gewelddadige protesten hebben gesteund en nu de vuilbek dichthouden
terwijl een journalist en van de laatste groep de media een collega,
gruwelijk is vermoord…???? Intussen zijn de alternatieve media in Bolivia, die de waarheid brachten over de coup tegen Morales van het internet verbannen…. Alweer geen zaak voor de reguliere westerse media om aan de bel te trekken…… Een mensenrechtenorganisatie uit Argentinie die de zaak wil onderzoeken in Bolivia is door de minister van binnelandse zaken bedreigd, ze moeten oppassen en  elke stap die ze zetten zal gevolgd worden…… Intussen zijn 14 leden van deze groep gearresteerd zodat ze niet met de pers kunnen praten, ook deze zaken zijn geen probleem voor HRW en Amnesty (gvd!!)…..

Volgens
de schrijver van het artikel hieronder, Alan Macleod, is dat niet zo
vreemd als je ziet dat HRW vooral is opgericht als anti-propaganda
apparaat tegen de Sovjet-Unie en Amnesty een medeoprichter had die samenwerkte met de FBI en betrokken was bij de moord op Fred Hampton, eertijds leider van de Black Panthers…… (ja dat wist ik niet en liet me wel even in
stilte, ongelofelijk en onverdraaglijk…)

Intussen
heeft de door de CIA samengestelde junta, onder leiding van de reli-fascistische Jeanine Áñez, een aantal parlementsleden van de partij van Morales vastgezet
en gvd niemand die aan de bel trekt!!! Ook niet over haar uitlating
dat het geloof van de oorspronkelijke bewoners satanisch is…… Áñez
is fundamentalistisch rooms-katholiek en wil dan ook de strijd

hadden onmiddellijk moeten laten weten dat men het niet eens was met de
fundamentalistische hoer Áñez. Bovendien is de rk kerk de organisatie die dondersgoed weet hoe de oorspronkelijke bevolking van Bolivia door de eeuwen heen is vertrapt door de witte minderheid (zelfs met hulp van de rk kerk…)….

is het mogelijk dat zelfs zogenaamd linkse politici in het EU gebied
de bek stijf dicht houden, schande!!!

wachten is overigens op een bevestiging dat een CIA agent zelfs betrokken

Argentinian
journalist Sebastian Moro was found unconscious, left for dead,
covered in bruises, scratches and other signs of violence on November
10. Moro was wearing a vest identifying him as press covering the
dramaticU.S.-backed
coupagainst
democratically elected President Evo Morales in Bolivia.

The
40-year-old worked for the influential Argentinian newspaper
Pagina/12.
Hours earlier he had denounced what he saw as a far-right takeover of
power. His last known words, published in his newspaper hours before
he was found, were denouncing the kidnappings of government
officials, and mob attacks on journalists and media outlets. He had
beenone
of the only voicesexposing
the local opposition’s campaign of terror to the world. Moro spent
six days in a La Paz hospital before finally succumbing to his
injuries.

Despite
the world’s attention being focused on the Andean country, media
has steadfastly ignored the likely beating to death of a foreign
journalist for political reasons. No mention of Moro has been made in
the New
York Times, CNN,
MSNBC,
Fox Newsor
any mainstream Western outlet, despite his story being well known in
his native Argentina. Nor has his case been mentioned by the major
human rights networks such as Amnesty International or Human Rights
Watch. Even the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) has not acknowledged
his killing. Itslist

In
fact, both media and the human rights industry have been leading a
campaign tolegitimizethe
new coup administration of Jeanine Añez andwhitewashhercrackdownon
independent media. Taking their line from the Trump administration,
corporate mediarefused

events in Bolivia a coup, preferring instead to frame it as Morales
“resigning.” The
New York Timeswelcomedthe
end of the “increasingly autocratic” Morales and expressed its
relief that the country was in the hands of more “responsible”
leaders. 

Meanwhile, the Wall
Street Journal’sheadline
read “a
democratic breakout in Bolivia.”

Human
Rights Watch, too, has been key in pushing through theU.S.-backed
overthrowof
a democratically elected head of state and whitewashing the violence
that still engulfs Bolivia. Its director Ken Roth claimed that the
coup was an “uprising”
aimed
at “defending
democracy” from
a “strongman”
while
the organization described Añez’s law giving Bolivia’s notorious
police and armed forces complete immunity from all crimes while theymassacred
protestorsas
merely a “problematic
decree.”

fact, the only English language source that has reported on Moro’s

a tiny Venezuelan news outlet with a staff of two people,according

story. The editor replied that Moro’s case, as well as the
total media silence over it, highlighted the need to create and
encourage new grassroots media outlets. It also noted that after the
coup against Honduran President Manuel Zelaya in 2009:

“One
[of the] very first gestures the U.S. coup against Zelaya made in
Honduras was to shut down community radio and snatch journalists.
Tortured reporters were then tossed out on the highway as a warning
for others. The lucky ones lived. The coup in Bolivia seems to be on
the same learning curve.”

As

there has been a coordinated assault on independent media in Bolivia.
New Communications Minister Roxana Lizarragaannouncedthat
this was part of the “dismantling of the propaganda apparatus of
the dictatorial regime of Evo Morales,” claiming that Morales’
“militants who misused the state media system” are being
“withdrawn.” Outlets like TeleSURand

been shut down and reporters have been shot. Lizarraga alsodeclaredthat
she would persecute any journalists involved in what she called
“sedition,” noting that she already had a list of “troublesome”
individuals and outlets.

Human
rights groups have also been subject to oppression. New Interior
Minister Arturo Murillodirectly
threateneda
newly arrived human rights delegation from Argentina. “We recommend
these foreigners who are arriving…to be careful,”he
said,
“We are looking at you. We are following you,” warning them that
there will be “zero tolerance.” He
added that 

“At
the first false move that they make, trying to commit terrorism and
sedition, they will have to deal with the police.” Fourteen members
of the group weresubsequently
arrested,
to silence in the press.

The
largest NGOs exist primarily to protect and advance power under the
guise of standing up for human rights. Human Rights Watch started as
an anti-SovietCold
War propaganda machine,
Amnesty International’s co-founder was anFBI
assetinvolved
in the murder of Black Panther leaders like Fred Hampton. This
explains their disinterest in Moro’s murder amid the wider
crescendo of violence in Bolivia. Those that stand up to power are
rarely remembered fondly in corporate media.

De
daklozen in Californië en zoals ik het begrijp in de hele VS, mogen
niet langer beboet worden dan wel worden opgepakt omdat ze op straat
moeten slapen…… De VS, ‘het land van de ongekende mogelijkheden’,
in negatieve zin wel te verstaan en dat geld ook voor het overheidsbeleid in het buitenland….. Hoe is het mogelijk dat de zwaksten in de
maatschappij zo gepakt worden door hun eigen overheid, ‘The American Dream’ is dan ook al meer dan 200 jaar zo dood als een pier……

Wat een
voorbeeld ook voor de wereld, al weet je zo wel wat je kan verwachten van de VS wanneer je als natie niet gewillig aan de leiband van de VS loopt, zeker als je ziet hoe barbaars de VS al in eigen land bezig is tegen de
zwaksten van haar volk >> je kan dan als land buiten de VS niets anders verwachten dan dood en
verderf…. (zoals de geschiedenis laat zien en niet alleen vanaf 1945…)

De

slapen en gelukkig zijn er sommige burgemeesters die stellen dat er

The Supreme Court on
Monday said it will allow a lower court’s ruling stand that
protects the rights of the homeless to sleep on sidewalks or in
public parks if they don’t have anywhere else to go, which is a
significant setback for cities in California.

The justices refused
to take the case from Boise, Idaho, on without comment or dissent.

From the L.A. Times:

The outcome
was a significant victory for homeless activists and a setback for
city officials in California and other Western states who argued
the ruling
from the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals undercut their
authority to regulate encampments on the sidewalks. The 9th Circuit
had agreed with lawyers for the homeless who argued that prosecuting
people for sleeping on the sidewalks violated the 8th Amendment’s
ban on cruel and unusual punishment if a city failed to provide
adequate shelter.

The 9th Circuit —
which has jurisdiction over California and eight other states out
west — ruling said a city ordinance “violates the 8th Amendment
insofar as it imposes criminal sanctions against homeless individuals
for sleeping outdoors on public property, when no alternative shelter
is available to them.”

A recent White House
report notes that half
of America’s homeless population lives in California.

According to the L.A.
Times, officials in Los Angeles expressed disappointment because
the ruling leaves the law unclear about what they can do to curtail
masses of people sleeping on sidewalks and in parks. Officials joined
with Boise in asking the Supreme Court to hear the case and said it
was “never an attempt to criminalize the homeless; rather, it was a
pursuit of a legal framework that is clear — in comparison to a
status quo that is ambiguous and confusing.”

“Letting the current
law stand handicaps cities and counties from acting nimbly to aid
those perishing on the streets, exacerbating unsafe and unhealthy
conditions that negatively affect our most vulnerable residents,”
he said.

Los Angeles Mayor Eric
Garcetti said via statement that “homelessness won’t be solved by
moving people from one street to another. Our focus will remain on
providing services to save lives, keeping our neighborhoods clean and
healthy, opening shelters to help get people indoors more quickly,
and building permanent units to keep them under a roof for good.”

Lawyers for the
homeless in Boise pointed out that in 2014 the city told its police
not to enforce misdemeanor ordinances that banned sleeping or camping
in public as long as there weren’t any other shelter spaces
available, which the city thought would end the lawsuit. However, the
9th Circuit issued a more broad ruling in 2018.

The Supreme Court
justices then had to decide whether or not there is a constitutional
right to sleep on a sidewalk in a case in which the city wasn’t
enforcing the ordinances that were being challenged.

The case began more
than 10 years ago when a number of homeless people were given
citations of $25 to $75 for camping on sidewalks. They then joined a
lawsuit challenging the fines as unconstitutional. According to the
L.A. Times, a large number of West Coast cities urged the Supreme
Court to hear the appeal of the 9th Circuit ruling.

The “creation of a
de facto constitutional right to live on sidewalks and in parks will
cripple the ability of more than 1,600 municipalities in the 9th
Circuit to maintain the health and safety of their communities,”
lawyers for Boise wrote.

“Nothing in the
Constitution … requires cities to surrender their streets,
sidewalks, parks, riverbeds and other public areas to vast
encampments,” the lawyers wrote.

People sleeping,
urinating and defecating
on sidewalks has of course long been a plague in cities like Los
Angeles and in 2006, the 9th Circuit ruled that the city can’t
enforce laws against people sleeping in public. So rather than appeal
the ruling, the city reached a settlement with lawyers for the
homeless, agreeing not to enforce the ordinance from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m

is meer dan duidelijk dat de coup in Bolivia alles te maken heeft met
grondstoffen, daar president Evo Morales de delving van o.a. indium
en lithium heeft genationaliseerd, de eerste, dus indium is van groot belang voor de
LCD schermen van smartphones enz. en lithium voor accu’s van deze
telefoons en andere toepassingen zoals accu’s voor elektrische fietsen
en auto’s………

Ook
de olie en gaswinning werd door Morales genationaliseerd, waar
eerdere protesten in bloed werden gesmoord, protesten om meer
inkomsten uit de grondstoffen ten goede te laten komen van het hele
volk, dus ook voorde meerderheid van de oorspronkelijke
bevolking….. Bij protesten in 2003 kwamen tenminste 70
Bolivianen van de oorspronkelijke bevolking om het leven, ofwel die
werden vermoord door politie en leger…….

Nationaliseringen
werken als een rode lap op een stier als het om de VS gaat en om die
reden heeft de VS al vele keren ingegrepen in Latijjns-Amerika, niet
alleen door militaire campagnes, ofwel illegale oorlogen, maar ook
door het organiseren van opstanden die dan moeten uitmonden in een
staatsgreep….. Mocht dat niet lukken zet de CIA het leger en
politie van een dergelijk land onder druk een staatsgreep te
forceren, uiteraard met de hulp van de VS, die e.e.a. organiseert en
regisseert….. Als ook dat niet lukt zoekt de VS op basis van leugens (false flag operaties) een oorzaak om een (illegale) oorlog tegen zo’n land te beginnen….

In Bolivia heeft de VS een combinatie van voornoemde zaken gebruikt, ofwel een coup door leger en politie, die vooraf werd gegaan door protesten….. Deze zogenaamde opstand tegen de
democratisch gekozen president Morales zou door het hele volk
gesteund zijn. Althans zo berichtten de westerse reguliere media,
gelul van een dronken aardbei daar het grootste deel van het volk tot
de oorspronkelijke bevolking behoort en deze bevolking heeft Morales,
die zelf tot deze oorspronkelijke bevolking behoort (‘indianen’), voor
meer dan 95% gesteund…….

De
regering Morales heeft het als eerste regering (en voor het eerst
sinds de witte kolonisator haar genocide begon in Latijns-Amerika), opgenomen voor het grootste deel van het volk, zoals gezegd de oorspronkelijke
bevolking. Door het beleid van Morales en zijn regering is de armoede
onder die bevolkingsgroep aanmerkelijk afgenomen en hij voerde daarnaast een prima economisch beleid…. Natuurlijk hebben de bedrijven,
die genationaliseerd werden (en toch nog dikke winsten mochten maken), een
grote verantwoording voor de coup die Morales aan de kant zette……

In
Washington (DC) is een arbitrage rechtbank gesitueerd,
de International Center for the Settlement
of Investment Disputes (ICSID), NB een onderdeel van de
Wereldbank….. Deze organisatie en de Wereldbank werken bepaald niet
in het belang van arme bevolkingsgroepen en veroordelen
dergelijke nationaliseringen…… ICSID heeft Bolivia gelast meer
rekening te houden met de internationale bedrijven als de
mijnbedrijven en die van de olie- en gassector….. Bolivia, Cuba,
Nicaragua en Venezuela hebben zich intussen teruggetrokken uit het ICSID en een zelfde soort arbitrage
opgezet, echter met één groot verschil, deze organisatie houdt wel
rekening met het volk en niet met de grote bedrijven die landen als
Bolivia voor een deel hebben leeggezogen……

Salon
bracht op 22 november jl. een artikel van Globetrotter (Naked Kapitalism) waarin e.e.a. aangaande de
grondstoffen wordt verduidelijkt, jammer dat men niet lithium noemde,
daar Bolivia ook de grootste voorraad lithium zou hebben….

When
you look at your computer screen, or the screen on your smartphone or
the screen of your television set, it is a liquid crystal display
(LCD). An important component of the LCD screen is indium, a rare
metallic element that is processed out of zinc concentrate.

The two
largest sources of indium can
be found in eastern Canada (Mount Pleasant) and in Bolivia (Malku
Khota). Canada’s deposits have the potential to produce 38.5 tons
of indium per year, while Bolivia’s considerable mines would be
able to produce 80 tons per year.


Canada’s
South American Silver Corporation—now TriMetals Mining—had signed
a concession to explore and eventually mine Malku Khota. Work began
in 2003, two years before Evo Morales and the Movement for Socialism
(MAS) won their first presidential election in Bolivia. South
American Silver conducted several studies of the region, all of which
found substantial deposits that were poised to make this Canadian
firm one of the major players in the mining industry.

A
study done by Allan Armitage and others for South American Silver,
and delivered to the company in 2011, showed that the Malku Khota
mine would produce substantial amounts of silver, indium, lead, zinc,
copper, and gallium. “The indium and gallium,” the study
noted,
“are regarded as strategic metals that give the project future
upside potential.” Gallium is used for thermometers and barometers,
as well as in the testing side of the pharmaceutical industry. There
is Fort Knox level treasure to be made from these minerals.

Resource
Nationalism

Evo
Morales rode to victory in 2006 with the promise of a new day for
Bolivia. Key to his agenda was to take control of the country’s
resources and use them to improve the quality of life of Bolivia’s
deprived populations. One of the great tragedies of Bolivia has been
that since the mid-16th century, the indigenous populations have had
to work to remove precious wealth from underneath their lands and
send that wealth to enrich the people of Europe and later North
America. They did not benefit from those riches.

Millions
died in the mines of Potosí to bring the silver, and later tin, out
of the ground. For the indigenous people who live near and on the
hill, everything is upside down—one of the most lucrative hills is
known as Cerro Rico (Rich Hill), while in Spanish there is a phrase
that toys with the idea that wealth is equivalent to Potosí (vale
un Potosí).
Morales’ message during his campaign was framed around the concept
of resource nationalism—use our resources to better the lives of
those who live in deprivation and indignity.

Morales
first went after the oil and gas industry. It is important to recall
that his opponent in this year’s election—Carlos Mesa—was the
president right before Morales won the election in December 2005.
Mesa had come to power when his predecessor Sánchez de Lozada
resigned in disgrace over the mass demonstrations in 2003 when
Bolivians demanded more control over their gas reserves (the state
repression was severe, with at least 70 people killed in the
demonstrations). In May 2006—just over three months after being
sworn in as president—Morales announced that the oil and gas
industry had been nationalized. It is important to recall that his
approval rating was well above 80 percent.

Nationalization
was not easy, since the Bolivian government could not expropriate
assets but only raise taxes and renegotiate contracts. Even here, the
government faced problems since it lacked enough technical skills to
understand the opaque energy sector. Furthermore, the problem with
the energy sector is that even nationalized oil and gas must be sold
to the transnational firms that then process them and market them;
they remain in control of the value chain. What Morales’ government
was able to do was to ensure that the State controlled 51 percent of
all private energy firms that operated in Bolivia, which allowed the
State’s coffers to fill rapidly. It was this money that was
invested to go after poverty, hunger, and illiteracy.

Revenge
of the Mining Companies

Canada’s
Fraser Institute—a libertarian think tank that is heavily funded by
the energy and mining sector—publishes an annual survey of mining
companies. This survey is conducted by asking mining executives their
opinions on a range of issues. The 2007–08
survey said
that Bolivia is the second-worst country for investment; the worst
was Ecuador. In 2010, the World
Bank’s Ease of Doing Business Index rated
Bolivia at 161 of 183 countries. Heads of mining firms—from
Barrick’s Peter Munk to Repsol’s Antonio Brufau—made
disparaging comments about the nationalization program. “If Bolivia
keeps on this path,” a Wall Street banker told me at that time,
“these companies will make sure that Bolivian natural gas remains
underground.” Bolivia might be embargoed; Morales might be
assassinated.

Pressure
mounted daily on the MAS government, which began a process to write a
new Constitution that would both protect nature and insist on
resource wealth being used for the people. There was an immediate
contradiction here: if the MAS government was going to undo centuries
of deprivation, it would have to mine the earth to bring out the
wealth. A tragic choice befell the government—it could not both
conserve nature and transform the wretched conditions of everyday
life at the same level of caution. At the same time, to get its
minerals and energy to market, it had to continue to negotiate with
these transnational firms; no immediate alternative was present.

Nationalization

Despite
the constraints on it, the MAS government continued to nationalize
resources, and insist on State firms being partners in resource
extraction. Transnational firms immediately took Bolivia to the
International Center for the Settlement of Investment Disputes
(ICSID), a part of the World Bank system. The ICSID—formed in
1966—is based in Washington, D.C., and shares an outlook toward
business that mirrors that of the U.S. Treasury Department.

On
April 29, 2007, the leaders of Bolivia (Evo Morales), Cuba (Carlos
Lage), Nicaragua (Daniel Ortega), and Venezuela (Hugo Chávez) signed
a declaration to create an alternative to the investor-government
system institutionalized in the ICSID. Bolivia and Ecuador formally
withdrew from this U.S.-dominated system, while Venezuela’s Supreme
Court declared that it did not have the power to intervene in
Venezuelan sovereign affairs.

On
July 10, 2012, Morales’ government nationalized the Malku Khota
property of South American Silver. Company CEO Greg Johnson said he
was “really shocked” at the decision. South American Silver’s
shares dropped immediately; it had been trading at $1.02 on July 6,
and it fell to $0.37 on July 11.


The
immediate spur for the nationalization was the protest around the
mine by indigenous artisanal miners who did not want this
mega-project to undermine their livelihood. South American Silver had
spent a great deal of money to convince 43 of the 46 neighboring
communities to accept the mine; but they could not convince the
artisanal miners. “Nationalization is our
obligation,” said Morales.

All
that indium would not make its way in significant quantities to the
factories to produce LCDs for television sets, computer monitors, and
cell phones.

South
American Silver took the Bolivian government to the Permanent Court
of Arbitration at The Hague. In November last year, the Court ordered
Bolivia to pay South American Silver $27.7 million rather than the
$385.7 million that TriMetals (the new name for South American
Silver) had demanded.

Coup


In
July 2007, U.S. Ambassador Philip Goldberg sent a cable to Washington
in which he pointed out that U.S. mining firms had approached his
embassy to ask about the investment climate in Bolivia. Goldberg felt
that the situation for mining firms was not good. When asked if he
could organize a meeting with Vice President Álvaro García Linera,
he said,
“Sadly, without dynamite in the streets, it is uncertain whether
the Embassy or the international mining companies will be able to
attain even this minimal goal.”

“Without
dynamite in the streets” is a phrase worth dwelling upon. A year
later, Morales expelled Goldberg from Bolivia, accusing him of aiding
the protests in the town of Santa Cruz. Just over a decade later, it
was the “dynamite” that removed Morales from power.

Resource
nationalism is no longer on the agenda in Bolivia. The fate of Malku
Khota is unknown. The fate of your screen is guaranteed—it will be
replaced with indium from the Potosí deposits. And the benefits of
that sale will not go to improving the well-being of Bolivia’s
indigenous population; they will enrich the transnational firms and
the old oligarchy of Bolivia.

In het NOS nieuws van gistermiddag 17.00 u. het bericht dat Evo Morales, de middels een staatsgreep afgezette president van Bolivia, is vertrokken uit Mexico waar hij eerder onderdak kreeg, naar Argentinië, daar dit dichter bij Bolivia ligt.

Jeroen Tjepkema, de nieuwslezer tevens nieuwsredacteur, stelde dat Evo Morales was afgetreden na de verdenking dat hij verkiezingsfraude had gepleegd…..

Evo Morales, die met een fikse meerderheid werd verkozen tot president, werd door de leiding van leger en politie te verstaan gegeven dat hij moest opstappen…… Daarop vloog men hem in eerste instantie met een militair vliegtuig naar Costa Rica, althans zo berichtten WDR en BBC. Kortom: Morales trad niet zelf af, maar werd middels een coup afgezet!*

Morales heeft economisch een uitstekend beleid gevoerd en het land staat er dan ook veel beter voor dan de situatie was tot het aantreden van Morales, de eerste president van de oorspronkelijke bevolking, die de meerderheid van de bevolking vormt. Deze coup zorgt er dan ook voor dat de minderheid van de oude kolonialen de grote meerderheid van de oorspronkelijke bevolking verder kan onderdrukken, zoals het altijd is geweest sinds de kolonisatie van Latijns-Amerika en dus ook in wat nu Bolivia wordt genoemd……. De juntaleider, de reli-fascistische kwaadaardigheid Áñez wil dan ook de religie van de oorspronkelijke bevolking verbieden, ze noemt deze religie zelfs ‘satanisch……’ (moet je nagaan: de genocide op de oorspronkelijke bevolkingen in de 3 Amerika’s werd gesteund door de destijds witte rooms-katholieke en protestantse kerk, over ‘satanisch’ gesproken!)

Tjepkema is tevens nieuwsredacteur van de NOS en is als zodanig verantwoordelijk voor de leugens die hij oplepelt. Hij heeft NB Jan van der Putten als collega, een man die dondersgoed weet wat er speelt in Latijns-Amerika, daar hij jarenlang correspondent was voor Latijns-Amerika….. (benieuwd trouwens hoe hij over de coup spreekt als hij het nieuws presenteert…..)

Schande dat de NOS zo durft te liegen en ondertussen klaagt deze duidelijk afhankelijke organisatie over ‘fake news’ (nepnieuws) en andere desinformatie….. Weet je nog hoe de NOS durfde te berichten voorafgaand en tijdens de illegale oorlogen die de VS deze eeuw is aangegaan tegen Afghanistan, Irak, Libië en Syrië? Juist een grote berg leugens, ofwel fake news en andere desinformatie om het Nederlandse volk te manipuleren….. Het verweer is dat men nu eenmaal afging op de informatie die kwam van de VS, de NAVO, westerse geheime diensten, dan wel de één of andere denktank, alsof men niet wist dat de VS als het om het buitenland gaat de ene leugen op de andere stapelt, alsof bijvoorbeeld VN wapeninspecteur Blix en zijn team logen over het niet bestaan van massavernietigingswapens in Irak, informatie die de nieuwsredactie van de NOS had kunnen doorprikken bij wat langer nazoeken dan de neus lang is…..

De NOS is verworden tot een propagandaorgaan voor de terreur die de VS en de andere NAVO-lidstaten uitoefenen en dat (nogmaals:) in landen waar het westen niets te zoeken heeft…… (de NAVO die nu ook bases heeft in Colombia…..)’

Toegevoegd na plaatsing (mijn excuus): het aantal doden door protesten van de oorspronkelijke bevolking (ofwel moorden gepleegd door leger en politie) tegen de coup waarmee hun president werd afgezet staat intussen op 32…….
