Schoonmaaksprays zijn zo gevaarlijk als het roken van sigaretten

Met het
Coronavirus zijn mensen met te veel vrije tijd en angst voor het
virus bezig alles schoon te maken. Veel schoonmaakmiddelen dienen te
worden gespoten op het schoon te maken object, echter daar zit
volgens wetenschappers één groot nadeel aan: de stoffen in de
vloeistof zijn zo gevaarlijk dat ze voor de gebruiker te vergelijken
zijn met het elke dag roken van een pakje sigaretten…..

De
vloeistoffen bevatten in verreweg de meeste gevallen giftige stoffen die de
longen aantasten, zonder dat er een waarschuwing opstaat als gebruikt
bij sigaretten en shag…….

Het
Care2 team is voor de VS gestart met een petitie, jammer genoeg
kunnen we die niet tekenen, nog lulliger is het feit dat er in
Nederland niet al lang wordt gewaarschuwd voor de gevaren….. Dat is
niet helemaal waar: in het verleden is er bijvoorbeeld gewaarschuwd
voor de ovenreiniger van Cillit Bang, echter diezelfde
kankerverwekkende troep wordt nog steeds verkocht, zonder dat de
fabrikant eerdere onderzoeken naar dit product heeft gebruikt om
een duidelijk zichtbare en leesbare waarschuwing op het product te zetten……
(in de reclame van een aantal jaren geleden zag je één of andere
schijtlollige figuur die met z’n hoofd in de oven bezig was met het sprayen
van deze troep, waarna deze oven in een mum van tijd kon worden schoongemaakt….)

Nogmaals
zet deze kennis vraagtekens bij het aantal doden aan roken, immers
ook rokers gebruiken schoonmaaksprays en wie zegt mij dat wellicht de
schoonmaakmiddelen de aanzet zijn geweest tot de longkanker die
rokers opliepen?? Hetzelfde geldt voor autorijden, de laatste studies
laten zien dat de door die auto’s veroorzaakte vervuiling inderdaad
leidt tot o.a. longkanker, maar ook tot andere ziekten . Als je ziet dat veel beroepschauffeurs
roken is het logisch dat een aantal van hen longkanker hebben
opgelopen door het lange tijd blootgesteld staan aan
auto-uitstoot……* Wellicht is die uitstoot de
‘trigger’ geweest voor de longkanker die zonder die uitstoot wellichtr ook zou
zijn ontstaan, maar dan op een veel later tijdstip, misschien wel
vele jaren later, of zelfs helemaal niet……

Tel dit
nog eens op bij de vele andere stoffen die kanker kunnen veroorzaken,
zoals glyfosaat in onkruidverdelger RoundUp en je kan eigenlijk niet
anders concluderen dan dat de
strijd tegen rokers (daar komt het immers op neer) wel bijzonder
hypocriet is, als je geen aandacht schenkt aan alle andere stoffen
die kanker kunnen veroorzaken (ook slechte vetten als palmolie kunnen naast obesitas kanker veroorzaken…..)

Er staat per 1 mei weer een
verhoging van de tabaksprijs op de rol, dit in een tijd van crisis,
die voor velen alles behalve een stimulans zal zijn om te stoppen met
roken, sterker nog de financiële ellende waar velen nu al in
zijn beland, is juist een stimulans om niet te stoppen met
roken, of zelfs weer te beginnen met roken….. 

De accijnsverhoging op tabak is dan ook minstens zo schandalig als
de meer dan belachelijk grote huurverhoging per 1 juli a.s., die voor sociale
huurwoningen loopt van 5,2 tot 6,1%, terwijl die huurverhoging is
gebaseerd op de prijsverhogingen in 2019, en deze bestaat voor het
grootste deel uit….. de huurverhoging per 1 juli 2019!!!!
De huurders betalen al bijna 10% meer dan de kopers terwijl ze amper
of geen rechten over hebben, daarnaast steelt de overheid via de
verhuurdersbelasting de door huurders gespaarde gelden…..
Bovendien zijn de meeste sociale huurwoningen slecht geïsoleerd,
althans als je daar al van kan spreken, daardoor betalen huurders
zich ook nog eens scheel aan het verstoken van gas……

‘Je zou
bijna gaan pleiten voor een gewelddadige huurdersopstand’ en ondanks dat het daar de hoogtste tijd voor is, mag dat nu
eenmaal niet…….

Household
cleaning sprays are as dangerous as cigarettes

Cleaning
products are as unhealthy as cigarettes. Demand that all products
carry a warning label!

With
the public concerned about stopping the spread of COVID-19 and
keeping their homes virus-free, cleaning supplies are flying off
grocery store shelves and selling out online. But we have to be
careful with what we buy: some
of those products we’re using to keep ourselves safe are actually
laden with toxic, lung-destroying chemicals.

In
fact, scientists
have found that using cleaning products regularly is just as bad for
you as smoking a pack of cigarettes everyday.
The study also found that women suffered more intensely due to
gendered norms that cause them to do most of the regular cleaning.
Consumers deserve to be warned about this horrifying statistic, just
as they are with cigarettes.

Sign
the petition to tell the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) that
cleaning supplies should come with the same health warnings that
cigarettes do!

langdurige blootstelling aan auto-uitstoot overlijden jaarlijks rond
de 18.000 mensen, ter vergelijking: aan roken overlijden jaarlijks
20.000 mensen, als die 20.000 ‘rokersdoden’, sterven de 18.000 mensen door

Cosmeticaproducenten gebruiken asbest in hun producten

Het
Care2 team is in de VS een actie begonnen tegen het toestaan van
asbest in cosmeticaproducten. Nadat een grote cosmeticafabrikant een
paar keer haar producten moest terugroepen vanwege te grote
hoeveelheden asbest in haar producten, bleek dat de wetgever in de VS
het gebruik van asbest in cosmeticaproducten toestaat….. Te zot
voor woorden uiteraard en volkomen terecht dat het Care2 team
gebruikers en anderen vraagt te tekenen om een verbod op het gebruik
van asbest af te dwingen (wij kunnen daarvoor niet tekenen). 

Voor alle duidelijkheid: asbest is zwaar kankerverwekkend, de ultrakleine deeltjes asbest hechten zich aan de longwand en op den duur ontstaat daardoor kanker….

De vraag
is hoe het in de EU en dan m.n. In ons land is geregeld, daar er in 2018
ophef ontstond nadat er in talkpoeder asbest vervuiling werd gevonden. De
NVWA, het meer dan wanpresterend inspectieorgaan dat door een
Balkenende kabinet werd opgetuigd en waarbij de goed functionerende
inspectieorganen die we eerder hadden werden opgedoekt, om in een
zwaar afgezwakte vorm op te worden opgenomen in de NVWA…….

Men
sprak in 2018 alleen over talkpoeder, echter als ik het bericht van
het Care2 team goed heb gelezen, zou het bepaald niet gaan om
vervuiling van alleen talkpoeder, maar zou asbest ook in andere
cosmeticaproducten worden gebruikt…… Vraag me dan ook af of de
NVWA alleen naar talkpoeder heeft gekeken, of dat men ook andere
cosmetica heeft gecontroleerd op asbest vervuiling……

Wat
betreft de wet- en regelgeving op asbest gebruik is de zaak op bepaalde gebieden onduidelijk: de regering wilde asbest
daken verbieden vanaf 2024 echter het lobbyorgaan voor het (grote)
bedrijfsleven en voor de welgestelden, ofwel de Eerste kamer zette
een streep door dat verbod…… Gezien de wetgeving is het zo dat er
geen asbest meer mag worden gebruikt in bouwmaterialen, kookplaatjes
e.d. Nergens wordt over asbest in cosmetica gesproken en
gezien de ophef in 2018 zal dit wel verboden zijn, echter je weet maar
nooit waar je aan toe bent in het huidige inhumane en ijskoude
neoliberalisme waarin het grootste deel van het westen is gedompeld…….

Verder nog het volgende: vergeet niet dat voor heel veel cosmetische producten dierproeven werden uitgevoerd, iets dat nu verboden zou zijn in de EU. Reken maar ‘gerust’ dat met bijvoorbeeld het CETA vrijhandelsverdrag er gegarandeerd meer cosmetische producten op de markt zullen komen, waarvoor dierproeven werden en worden uitgevoerd, immers een verbod zou de cosmeticaproducenten uit Canada benadelen…… (Canadese cosmeticaproducenten kunnen overigens ook bestaan uit VS bedrijven die een fabriek in Canada hebben, dan wel die een kantoor in Canada hebben….) Het is dan ook zonder meer schunnig dat het CETA verdrag al door de Tweede Kamer is goedgekeurd en het is welhaast zeker dat het bedrijven lobbyorgaan Eerste Kamer instemt met dit schandalige verdrag…..*

The
U.S. Government Has Been Letting Beauty Companies Poison Their
Customers. Ban the Use of Asbestos in Cosmetics Now!

Once asbestos enters the body, it
never dissolves. While the lungs and stomach can eventually push many
of the fibers out, others remain trapped deep inside us. These
particles can spend years quietly poisoning our internal organs
before we ever show symptoms — ultimately causing chronic
obstructive pulmonary disease, lung disease, and even cancers.

 

Yet,
so far, the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) hasn’t
cared much about certain forms of asbestos.

The FDA seems particularly fine
with letting people absorb asbestos through skin-based beauty
products. It turns out that, despite its
many known health risks,
asbestos is not banned
from use in cosmetic products.

While it is generally against U.S.
law to use any ingredient in a cosmetic that makes the product
harmful to consumers when used as directed, the list of prohibited
ingredients does not explicitly mention asbestos. The results have
been disastrous. Every
year, asbestos has been found in yet another major cosmetics
supplier’s products, putting even more people in danger.

This is outrageous. Right now,
millions of people are unwittingly
rubbing products containing toxic fibers all over their bodies
— and just assuming they’re safe. The U.S. government has a
responsibility and duty to protect consumers from known lethal
contaminants. It is disgusting and enraging that officials have
waited so long to do anything about this. The FDA must take action
now! 

 

Please
sign this petition urging the FDA to ban the use of asbestos in all
cosmetic and beauty products.
Our health and safety depend on it.

* Het is de vraag of we ooit zullen horen welke producten die eigenlijk verboden zijn in Nederland of de EU, middels een geheime rechtszaak (ISDS) alsnog in de Nederlandse winkelschappen zullen belanden, immers de naam van het bewuste bedrijf mag niet genoemd worden, daar ook dit ten koste zou kunnen gaan van de concurrentie positie van zo’n bedrijf (immers Nederlandse consumenten zouden die producten kunnen mijden…..) Yale: genetisch gemanipuleerde muggen overleven en planten zich voort in natuur

Ongelofelijk weer: in Brazilië zijn
genetisch gemanipuleerde muggen vrijgelaten in de natuur, i.p.v. de
hele populatie steriel te maken en daarna uit te laten sterven,
overleefden een aantal gentech muggen en die kunnen zich zelfs
voortplanten…… Volgens deskundigen is dit gevaarlijk daar de
nakomelingen wel eens heel sterk zouden kunnen zijn en een nog
grotere muggenplaag worden (met grotere ziekteverspreiding)

Op een Frans eiland en
op Saba heeft het bedrijf Oxitec genetisch gemanipuleerde
muggen vrijgelaten als bestrijding van gevaarlijke lokale
muggen….. Ook in Florida is een groot aantal muggen uitgezet, wel
van een ander bedrijf en dat in 2016 en 2017, waar een jaar later
muggen werden gevonden die een virus overdragen dat de hersenen doet
zwellen……

Onbegrijpelijk dat men deze
Frankenstein experimenten toestaat….. Overigens wist Oxitec dat
een klein aantal muggen zouden overleven, echter er moest een prestatie
geleverd worden en wel zo snel mogelijk……

Sommige wetenschappers stellen dat het wel heel toevallig is dat het zika-virus in 2016 de kop opstak, na een eerder gevoerd experiment met gentech-muggen die op grote schaal werden losgelaten……..

Daarover gesproken in de VS is het de laatste maanden af en aan bal over de ziekte van Lyme, overgedragen door teken, waar men stelt dat het Pentagon heeft geprutst aan teken, om ze als wapen in te zetten…..

Nogmaals: niet te geloven dat men dit soort experimenten toestaat……

Yale
Study: Wild Mosquitoes Retained Genes of Genetically Modified
Mosquitoes

(AP) — In
Brazil a genetic engineering test of mosquitoes appears to have
failed, with genes from the mutant mosquitoes now mixing with the
native population, Nature reported.
This comes as mad scientists in the U.S. are finding they are getting
bitten back by messing with nature after running their own program to
genetically modify mosquitoes.

The
experiment involved a company called Oxitec which took male Aedes
aegypti mosquitoes
and genetically engineered them to have a dominant lethal gene. The
idea was first proposed in 2016, according to
an article by Science
Magazine that
discussed the plans to release the GM insects.

According
to the hypothesis when the genetically modified mosquitoes mated with
wild female mosquitoes, the gene was supposed to drastically cut down
the number of offspring they produced. Further, the few that were
born should have been too weak to survive a long period of time.

A
team of Yale students then studied the genomes of both the GM strain
and the wild species before the release, then again six, 12 and 27 to
30 months after the release began.

Around
450,000 modified males were released in Jacobina, Brazil every week
for 27 months straight, totaling tens of millions, according to
the Yale study.

Sure
enough, by the end of the test there was clear evidence that genes
from the transgenic insects had been incorporated into the wild
population. Although the GM mosquitoes only produce offspring about
three to four percent of the time, it seems that those that are born
aren’t as weak as expected. Some appear to make it to adulthood and
breed themselves.

In
theory, if the experiment worked it would have cut down the
population of mosquitoes in an area estimated up to as much as 85
percent. This of course if successful would translate to fewer
bug-borne diseases, like — dengue, yellow fever, Zika, and malaria
in humans and animals alike.

However,
that’s not what the final results were according to Yale
University. Yale explains that some of the native bugs, they found,
had surprisingly retained genes from the engineered mosquitoes; and
even worse, the experiments made them more resilient.

According
to New
Atlas there
are now three different strains of mosquitoes mixed together in
Jacobina and other places of Brazil.

The
bugs in the area are now made up of three strains mixed together: the
original Brazilian locals, plus strains from Cuba and Mexico – the
two strains crossed to make the GM insects. This wider gene pool
could make the mozzies more robust as a whole.

“The
claim was that genes from the release strain would not get into the
general population because offspring would die,’’ Jeffrey Powell,
senior author of the study said. “That obviously was not what
happened.”

Other
researchers released genetically modified (GM) mosquitoes in a
controlled environment, into a high-security laboratory in Terni,
Italy earlier this year, NPR reported.

Another
research firm called Target Malaria research consortium
also released 6,400
GM mosquitoes in West Africa, Burkina Faso, this year, which
was condemned by
the Civil Society, a group of organizations. The tests were funded by
organisations linked to the Gates Foundation, Facebook, and –
indirectly – the Pentagon, as part of a project to eradicate
malaria, The
Guardian reported.

The
release of GM mosquitoes in the village was an unethical experiment,
as Target Malaria acknowledges that there are no direct benefits to
the local population of this particular GM mosquito release, in terms
of malaria control. This was not an early stage trial of the GM
mosquitoes intended to be tested later for their impact on malaria,
but a release of an entirely different GM mosquito.

Thus,
there was no justification for making the releases. According to the
World Medical Association’s Declaration of Helsinki, which is based
on the Nuremberg Code and outlines the internationally agreed ethical
principles for medical research involving human subjects, such
research “may only be conducted if the importance of the objective
outweighs the risks and burdens to the research subjects” (Article
16).

Indeed,
the release of the GM mosquito in Burkina Faso poses risks, including
the incidental release of some biting female GM mosquitoes during the
experiments.

While
Target Malaria claims that the number will be small, nevertheless,
since GM female mosquitoes can bite humans and spread disease, the
release of biting females still poses some risk to local people.[ii]

Yale’s
study is especially alarming because here in the U.S. the same
company Oxitec was approved in
the U.S. by the Food Drug Administration (FDA) in 2016, to
genetically modify mosquitoes to fight against the Zika virus. This
trial allowed the release of mosquitoes in the state of Florida for
testing purposes in Key Haven, Monroe County.

Oxitec
also obtained funding from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to
develop the GM insects. It’s worth noting that Bill Gates
has said just
this year that “mosquitoes are the number one killer.”

Gates
also released a swarm of mosquitoes on an unsuspecting audience
at a TED
conference in
2009 to prove a point.

But
Oxitec’s experiments don’t end in the U.S. and Brazil, the lab
was also approved to
release its hellish X-Files like
mosquitoes in France and the Netherlands in 2017.

Christoph
Then for TestBiotech commented
about the study stating,

The
Oxitec trials have led to a situation that is largely out of control.
The company has released its patented insects although it was known
before that some insects could survive in the environment. The
expectations of their investors were more important than the
protection of health and the environment. There is no insurance and
no fast-track mechanism to prevent severe damage in a worst-case
scenario.

This
incident must have consequences for further applications of genetic
engineering. Preventing the spread of genetically engineered
organisms within natural populations has to become a priority.

Florida
isn’t the only state that we may have to worry about releasing GM
mosquitoes. In 2017 it was reported that the EPA officially
registered another company named MosquitoMate’s Asian Tiger
mosquito with a five-year license to sell their lab mosquitoes in as
many as 20 states, Nature reported.

In
2017, that same year, the U.S. Center for Disease Control and
Prevention reported that mosquitoes carrying disease could invade as
much as 75% of America in a paper published in
the Journal
of Medical Entomology.
Last year, the CDC stated that the number of illnesses caused by
mosquito, tick, and flea bites has tripled in the United States over
the last 13 years, CBS reported.

It’s
of particular interest to express that a mosquito-borne virus that
causes brain swelling and can be fatal in humans was recently
detected in Florida, according to the Florida
Department of Health in
Orange County. It may be a coincidence, but the research by Yale
indicates that it may not be, but this was after Florida released GM
mosquitoes in 2017-2018.

After
being bitten by an infected mosquito, it takes four to 10 days to
develop symptoms of the Eastern Equine Encephalitis virus, according
to the Centers
for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
In severe cases involving brain inflammation, symptoms start with the
sudden onset of headache, high fever, chills, and vomiting. The
infection can then progress, causing disorientation, seizures, and
coma, Yahoo
News reported.

If
that’s not enough, in 2018, the first reported mosquito-borne
disease called the Keystone virus was thought only to be transmitted
to animals, but jumped to infect humans according to doctors.

Where
there have been negative results, there have also been positive
results achieved by
researchers at London’s Imperial College using “gene drive”
technology to successfully eradicate a whole population of
malaria-carrying mosquitoes in their lab by making the insects
infertile.

However,
as Hellen Wallace wrote in Scientific
American in
2011, “the release of genetically modified (GM) insects should
follow a precautionary approach, because what appears well understood
in the lab can have unintended consequences when released on a large
scale into the environment.”

It’s
worth noting that this isn’t the first time that GM mosquitoes has
come into question in Brazil. In 2016, the Mirror reported in
a brave headline: “Was Zika outbreak caused by release of
genetically modified mosquitoes in Brazil?”

The Mirror wrote
the following that mirrors Yale’s study.

The
Aedes aegypti mosquito sub-species that carries both the Zika virus
and dengue was the type targeted with genetically modified
mosquitoes.

The
aim was to release only male Aedes mosquitoes into the wild and they
would in turn produce offspring with their virus carrying female
counterparts.

This
offspring would then die off before breeding again due to the GM
coding in their genes.

Ironically,
the Mirror further
noted that the first cases of Zika were seen in Brazil in 2016 with
“up to 1.5 million people thought to be affected by the virus”
after the first GM experiment.

Perhaps
screwing with nature isn’t the brightest of ideas as scientists
could inadvertently without knowledge or in the cases of government
programs —  like Project 112, Operations Drop
Kick,
Big Buzz, May Day, Whitecoat, Big Itch and Bellweather, be creating
or modifying deadly diseases that could haunt our future. As Sarah
Laskow writing for Atlas Obscura stated, “While
Brazil Was Eradicating Zika Mosquitoes, America Made Them Into
Weapons.”

As Activist
Post reported in
July, United States House members expressed concern in a bipartisan
vote that the Pentagon may have unleashed biological weapons or
entomological warfare in the form of ticks or other insects that
caused the spread of Lyme disease. So what’s stopping anyone from
maliciously genetically modifying the ticks’ cousin mosquitoes as a
bioweapon? Not much.

If
you are concerned about being bitten by mosquitoes, the CDC
recommends to avoid being bitten you should wear long-sleeved shirts
and trousers, stay in places with air conditioning or that use window
and door screens, use insect repellents approved by the Environmental
Protection Agency (EPA), and treat your clothing with an insecticide.

Psychedelica worden eindelijk ook gebruikt tegen depressies en andere psychische aandoeningen

Het is
al lang bekend dat microdoseringen van bepaalde psychedelische
producten kunnen helpen tegen depressies en andere psychische
aandoeningen, terwijl in de VS juist een beweging ontstaat die alle
psychedelische drugs verboden willen houden…… Je had
waarschijnlijk wel begrepen dat hier een hele dikke lobby van de
farmaceutische maffia achter zit…..

Echter
de kans dat psychedelische drugs als cannabis* in de hele VS verboden zullen worden is te
verwaarlozen, zeker nu de staten die e.e.a. hebben vrijgegeven,
binnenlopen met de belastingen die worden geheven op die middelen…..

In de EU
is de wetenschap al langer bezig zaken als MDMA, de werkzame stof in XTC, te verwerken als microdosis, hetzelfde geldt voor
truffels en paddo’s met de werkzame stof psilocybine, waar voor beide middelen al mensen zijn overgestapt van
psychofarmaca op dit soort middelen (zoals gezegd met microdoseringen). Microdoseringen met psilocybine vergroten o.a. de creativiteit en empathie 

Uit begin 80er jaren van de vorige eeuw weet ik dat mensen experimenteerden met microdoseringen LSD, volgens de gebruikers destijds een probaat middel tegen depressies en psychoses.

(TMU) — As
the country increasingly sheds its prohibitionist stereotypes and
misconceptions about psychedelic drugs, scientists and psychiatrists
are increasingly embracing their potent qualities as “game-changers”
in the fight to treat mental health disorders.

The
new trend unfolding across the U.S. has converted drugs like
ketamine—once known primarily as a recreational drug used at raves
and underground concerts—into a powerful tool for mental health
professionals in the Midwest, according
to the Times
of Northwest Indiana.

Dr.
Joseph Fanelli, a psychiatrist who is the medical director for
behavioral health services at St. Catherine Hospital in East Chicago,
told the Times:

“It’s
a pretty exciting time that we’ve entered over the last few years.”

Continuing,
Fanelli noted that in the case of ketamine, researchers have found a
drug that kicks in almost immediately versus the weeks that
antidepressants take to make an impact. Ketamine treatment is “one
of the most rapid, dramatic treatments we’ve had and been able to
use in a long time,”
he noted.


Psychedelic Drugs Treat Depression

Ketamine
is a strong sedative and dissociative that has been used in the
veterinary and medical fields since the 1960s, but it has also been
known as a club drug for nearly just as long.

Numerous studies in
the recent past have shown how ketamine can be a powerful treatment
option for major depression. And in March, the Food and Drug
Administration (FDA) announced the
approval of a ketamine-based nasal spray for treating depression that
was patented by Johnson & Johnson, as previously reported by
the Mind
Unleashed.

The
drug, called esketamine,
has a slight chemical variation from the original substance and must
be administered in a doctor’s office under tight monitoring due to
the potential for hallucinations. However, Fanelli noted that any
such dose is far lower than the amount typically used on the streets.

Fanelli
noted:

“The
effect patients get when treated with it is rarely anything like a
high …Patients might feel foggy-headed or lightheaded. The main
thing we watch them for is to make sure they’re fully alert, not
sedated.”

Many
of the patients leave his office saying things like “Maybe
I felt something, I don’t know,”
due to the fact that “it’s
not really a pronounced effect”
despite esketamine’s potency as an antidepressant. The drug is
being given in conjunction with oral antidepressants for those who
felt their previous antidepressants no longer offered relief or whose
effects wore off.

Fanelli
added that the treatment’s length and intensity depends on the
individual patient. He explained:Dr. D. Alam

“Some
people have a course of ketamine of two or three times a week for
maybe two to four weeks, then they may be fine without the need for
anything else … Some people have to have it continued, once a week
or month; sometimes less often or more often.”

Dr.
Danesh Alam, medical director of behavioral health for Northwestern
Medicine Central DuPage Hospital in Illinois, said that ketamine
could one day become a “first
line of intervention”
for suicidal patients. He noted:

“It’s
going to probably change the way we practice psychiatry and
medicine.”

Alam
warned that despite the FDA’s approval for esketamine, government
restrictions continue to make it difficult to research the
psychiatric benefits of psychedelic drugs, along with marijuana,
while other countries are able to conduct such research. He said:

 “It’s
hard to study (drugs) if you can’t do it with federal support.”

Indeed,
a growing body of research has laid out the benefits of psychedelic
drugs such as magic mushrooms. Recent studies have
shown how a microdose of psilocybin—far from the level needed for a
full-blown trip—actually increases the creativity
and empathy of
participants. Advocates note that psilocybin has also shown great
promise in psychotherapeutic settings.

Alam
sees the current moment as “a
challenging and exciting time in our field: challenging because of
how society is affected by the opioid crisis, the suicide crisis, and
I’d add in the trauma crisis. The exciting part is new treatments
may help us treat the disorders associated with all of these
conditions.”

Trump
heeft met een ‘executive order’ overheidsorganen de opdracht gegeven
om de belemmerende regels op te heffen voor genetische gemanipuleerde dieren en
giftige planten (doordat deze planten zijn gemanipuleerd om bestand
te zijn tegen gif als glyfosaat, zitten deze planten vol met dat
kankerverwekkende gif…..).

Kortom
geen of veel te weinig onderzoek meer naar de schadelijke gevolgen
van gentechvoedsel, waar bovendien te verwachten is dat
bijvoorbeeld op etiketten van maaltijden waarin gentechvoedsel is
verwerkt, niet meer mag worden vermeld dat daar gentechvoedsel
in zit, het zou oneerlijke concurrentie zijn t.a.v. niet
gemanipuleerd voedsel…. Anders gezegd: deze maatregel ‘is noodzakelijk’ daar een flink aantal consumenten gentechvoedsel in de supermarkten laten staan als daarop is aangegeven dat het onderdelen bevat die genetisch gemanipuleerd zijn……

De
volgende stap zal druk van de VS zijn op landen die voedsel uit de VS
importeren, om gentech voedsel toe te staan op hun binnenlandse
markt…… Dit is uitermate gevaarlijk daar de EU al vanaf het
aantreden van Trump bezig is met een peperdure lobby in Washington
om het TTIP (vrijhandels-) verdrag getekend te krijgen door de Trump
administratie……

In dit
TTIP verdrag zit een clausule over geheime rechtbanken (ISDS) waar grote
bedrijven afzonderlijke landen kunnen aanklagen voor het weigeren van
hun producten, zoals in dit geval gentechvoedsel….. In de
praktijk van dit soort verdragen is al te zien dat de bedrijven voor
meer dan 90% aan het langste eind trekken en de landen deze producten
moeten toestaan op hun binnenlandse markt……. De rechtszaken zijn geheim voor het publiek,
daar men anders de producten van smeerpijpen als Bayer zal laten
staan (Bayer heeft Monsanto overgenomen, de producent van Roundup,
waarvan glyfosaat een belangrijk onderdeel is)……..

Trump bewijst ten overvloede nog eens schijt te hebben aan de gezondheid van het volk in de
VS en elders, hij is alleen uit op het nog rijker maken van welgestelden en bedrijven, zelfs
al moet hij daarvoor de hele wereld vergiftigen met zaken als
glyfosaat en de natuur bloot stelt aan genetische gemanipuleerde dieren en planten, waarvan de eerste gevolgen al desastreus zijn te noemen………. Ach ja, eens een onverantwoordelijke, inhumane rotschoft, seksist en moorddadig psychopaat……..

BREAKING:
Trump green lights GMO foods

President
Trump gave genetically engineered organisms (GMOs) a free pass this
week when he
signed an executive order directing federal agencies to scale back on
regulations of these toxic crops and foods. This
could allow new GMO foods and animals to be grown and brought to
market without any testing, oversight, or scientific review! 

But
just because Trump orders the deregulation of GMOs does not mean that
it’s a done deal. EPA, FDA, and USDA have to make any changes to
the GMO regulations that Trump wants available to the public, and
that’s where we come in. Center for Food Safety (CFS) will be
vigilant in tracking these changes and fight to halt every one of
these illegal actions in court. 

Can
you help CFS’s legal and science teams prevent the mass approvals
of untested GMO crops and foods by becoming a monthly donor?

Under
this new executive order, any new GMO crops or animals—such as GMO
pigs—could appear in the supermarket without having gone through
any federal scientific review for potential environmental or human
health harms. With this order (which is a boon to pesticide and GMO
corporations such as Bayer/Monsanto and Dow/Dupont), Trump is showing
his complete disregard for farmers, human health, and the
environment.

The
good news is, we’re confident that we can right this wrong. For
more than two decades, CFS has successfully stopped dozens of new GMO
crops and animals, including GMO wheat, rice, tomatoes, and many
others. We’re already in court fighting GMO crops that rely on
toxic pesticides such as dicamba and 2,4-D (a chemical component of
Agent Orange). Help
us challenge Trump’s irresponsible actions by supporting CFS today!

The
executive order would also enlist government agencies in a “domestic
engagement” campaign to further deceive and confuse the public
about the true nature of GMOs. It also includes an “international
outreach” component to force other countries to accept GMOs that
they don’t want!

This
move from the Trump administration comes just one week after the USDA
issued a proposed rule to sharply limit and weaken the regulation of
GMOs that fall under its jurisdiction. CFS is prepared to challenge
this newly proposed rule which is now set to exclude the majority of
GMO crops from any regulation whatsoever.

In
addition to our lawsuits to stop the newest hazardous GMOs and their
companion pesticides, CFS has also sued the FDA to reverse its
irresponsible approval of genetically engineered salmon in order to
prevent its certain escape and resulting havoc on native salmon.
We’ve also petitioned the government to protect the iconic monarch
butterfly from the GMO-driven use of glyphosate, which kills the
monarch’s host plant.

Farmaceuten moeten door het Internationaal Strafhof (ICC) worden berecht voor massamoord, chantage en machtsmisbruik

Afgelopen
zaterdag werd bekend gemaakt dat de Zwitserse farmaceut Novartis
het medicijn Zolgensma heeft ontwikkeld tegen de dodelijke ziekte ‘spinale
musculaire atrofie‘ die slachtoffers maakt onder baby’s. Dit medicijn is het duurste
dat ooit werd goedgekeurd door de FDA voor toelating op de
‘medicijnmarkt’ in de VS: het meer dan schunnig hoge
bedrag van 2.1 miljoen dollar……

Het
verweer van Novartis voor deze enorme prijs is dat met dit medicijn
de ziekte met één behandeling kan worden overwonnen en dat daarmee
jarenlange verpleegkosten tegen honderdduizenden dollars per jaar
worden bespaard…….. De godvergeten brutaliteit >> dus omdat jonge
kinderen anders jarenlang moeten lijden, maakt men de prijs zo hoog,
dit is niets anders dan ordinair machtsmisbruik en een vorm van smerige chantage!!!

Het
gore lef waarmee Novartis zelfs de de farmaceutische dooddoener doet
verbleken waarin men stelt dat de ontwikkelingskosten voor een medicijn nu eenmaal zo enorm hoog zijn, terwijl iedereen die even moeite doet kan weten
dat de kosten voor marketing die farmaceuten maken t.b.v. een medicijn, dertig maal hoger
zijn dan de ontwikkelingskosten van dat medicijn……..

Colorado
heeft als eerste staat in de VS de farmaceuten aangepakt die middelen voor
diabetes maken. Na prijsverhogingen die zelfs zo hoog zijn als 5000% van de oorspronkelijke prijs, heeft deze staat per 1 januari 2020 een
maximumprijs voor diabetesmiddelen bepaald van $ 100.– per
maand….. Nog te hoog, maar al een hele verbetering…. De
beslissing van politici dit te doen moet genomen zijn uit
verontwaardiging over deze schunnige prijsverhogingen, hoe kunnen
diezelfde politici dan akkoord gaan met nog een aantal maanden
grootschalige diefstal door die misdadige farmaceuten, immers deze regel gaat pas in op 1 januari 2020…. Simpel, dat heeft alles te maken met de
macht van de farmaceuten, die wereldwijd politici in de zak
hebben (zo meer daarover)……

In
2013 was de winst die de farmaceuten maakten meer dan 1 biljoen
dollar, sinds die tijd worden deze cijfers bij mijn weten niet meer
gepubliceerd, op zich al een teken aan de wand…..

Het
is echt de hoogste tijd dat een orgaan als het Internationaal Strafhof
bedrijven als Novartis, Eli
Lilly, Sanofi, and Novo Nordisk aan de paal nagelt voor massamoord, chantage en uitbuiting…..
In arme landen is eenvoudig aan te tonen dat honderdduizenden, ja zelfs miljoenen mensen onnodig
sterven aan ziekten die met simpele medicijnen zijn te behandelen,
medicijnen die men daar niet kan betalen…. Farmaceuten hebben meer dan
voldoende geld om deze medicijnen beschikbaar te stellen voor arme
landen, maar de winsten gaan voor mensenlevens, zoveel is meer dan duidelijk……

Over
Novo Nordisk gesproken, deze schoftenfirma doet net of het een
goededoelenorganisatie is, met haar meer dan zieke reclame, dat ze
medicijnen tegen diabetes zullen blijven maken totdat diabetes de
wereld uit is…… Letterlijk: ‘wij innoveren totdat diabetes de wereld uit is..’ De godvergeten brutaliteit!!! Uiteraard blijven
ze medicijnen maken waar ze helemaal op binnenlopen…… Als Novo Nordisk een middel zou hebben ontwikkeld om diabetes te genezen, dan zou het bedrijf dit middel zeker niet op de markt brengen, dat is zeker!

Het
is in Nederland overigens ook zo dat de medicijnen veel te duur zijn,
de voormalige minister van Volksgezondheid, hare VVD hufterigheid
Schippers, durfde meermaals te beweren dat ze de medicijnprijs
aanzienlijk omlaag heeft gekregen, dat is meer aan de uitbuitende zorgverzekeraars te danken, die eisen dat artsen een vervangend medicijn (een generiek middel met dezelfde werkzame stof) voorschrijven i.p.v. de merkmedicatie, terwijl het verschil in prijs meestal niet
meer dan wat centen is……. Voorheen kon het verschil in prijs tussen een generiek geneesmiddel en merkmedicatie tot wel 70% (minder) bedragen, ofwel de makers van de generieke geneesmiddelen
(‘namaakmedicijnen’) hebben ook ontdekt dat ze voor de kostprijs van
een tiental centen tot vele tientallen euro’s kunnen verdienen…… 

Vergeet niet dat medicijnen waarvan het patent is verlopen al zoveel hebben opgebracht dat de maker het middel voor een grijpstuiver kan aanbieden en er dan nog op verdient…….

Schippers
heeft amper wat van de medicijnprijs kunnen krijgen, niet vreemd als
je bedenkt dat haar vriendenkring en familie hoogstwaarschijnlijk veel
aandelen in de farmaceutische firma’s in bezit hadden en hebben….. Bovendien
is de lobby van de farmaceuten gigantisch, daarvoor heeft de farmaceutische maffia lobbykantoren in Brussel en Den Haag (en in andere EU lidstaten en landen elders) om de politici daar te om te kopen, ook in deze spelen de enorme kosten geen rol voor de farmaceuten, immers deze lobby betaalt zichzelf terug…….

Nogmaals:
de farmaceuten moeten eindelijk terechtstaan voor hun misdaden tegen
de menselijkheid, machtsmisbruik, chantage en massamoorden in arme landen!!! Voorts dienen politici te worden vervolgd die de oren hebben laten hangen naar de lobby van de farmaceutische maffia…… Lullig genoeg moeten die in feite corrupte politici na hun politieke loopbaan een paar jaar wachten, voor ze als dank voor bewezen diensten een dikke functie bij in dit geval een farmaceut mogen aanvaarden, te zot voor woorden!! (alsof die politici daardoor minder corrupt zijn….)

Cannabis in 3 extra VS staten gelegaliseerd, ondanks zware antilobby van de farmaceutische maffia en die van de georganiseerde alcoholmisdadigers

Tegelijk
met de midterm verkiezingen, werd er in 4 VS staten ook gestemd over de
legalisatie van cannabis. In Michigan, Utah en Missouri werd met
meerderheid gekozen voor de legalisatie van cannabis. In Michigan
gaan de nieuwe regels aangaande cannabis over ongeveer 10 dagen van
start. Inwoners van Michigan, mogen vanaf hun 21ste jaar cannabis in
bezit hebben, het kopen, gebruiken en het zelfs verbouwen!! (dus
geen belachelijk achterdeur beleid!)

Mooie zaak: Michigan laat ook de aanklachten en strafbladen vervallen van gebruikers van softdrugs die geen geweld hebben gebruikt, maar puur en alleen zijn opgepakt voor het bezit van cannabis (voor het overgrote deel gekleurde jongeren…..).

In North
Dakota mislukte het en stemde 60% achterlijke hypocrieten tegen,
je weet wel van die lui die minstens een paar keer in de week bezopen
zijn van de vernietigende harddrug alcohol……..

Het
blijkt dat er een fikse lobby in de VS bestaat, die cannabis verboden
wil houden, ‘niet geheel toevallig’ de farmaceutische maffia en de
georganiseerde alcoholmisdaad, fabrikanten die inderdaad van alles te
vrezen hebben van de legalisatie van cannabis, immers cannabis is
niet verslavend, het sloopt niet je lichaam en geest, zoals de
verslavende harddrugs als zware medicatie en alcohol wel doen (dagelijks 115 doden door verslavende pijnstillers en jaarlijks 88.000 alcoholdoden in de VS..)…… 

Bovendien zijn er intussen een fiks aantal aandoeningen die te
behandelen zijn met extracten van marihuana en dat voor ziekten van kanker (niet dat het
kanker geneest, maar kan verder wel de boel stopzetten, eetlust
opwekken en tot pijn stillen) en staar tot geestelijke
aandoeningen……

Uit
onderzoek is overigens gebleken dat mensen die geblowd hebben beter
autorijden dan mensen die ‘clean’ zijn……. In Nederland is de
politie ‘daarom’ naarstig bezig blowers op de bon te slingeren, meer
dan schandalig, daar cannabis lang in het bloed te zien is…… Er
is ook geen flinter aan bewijs dat blowers zoals dronken rijders
ongelukken veroorzaken en als dit wel zo is, blijken er altijd andere
zaken mee te spelen, zoals het gebruik van psychofarmaca, zware
pijnstillers (waarmee je belachelijk genoeg mag autorijden) en/of
andere harddrugs…..

Ooit
had Nederland een voortrekkersrol op het gebied van softdrugs, waar de
miezerige kleingeestelijke hypocrieten van CDA en VVD een eind aan
hebben gemaakt, te schandalig voor woorden!! Lui die wel zelf bijna
dagelijks alcohol gebruiken………. Gevolg van de jacht op softdrugs en de meer dan belachelijke wietpas: er zijn nu volop harddrugs op straat te krijgen als speed, chrystal meth, ketamine en andere vernietigende troep……. Terwijl ons eerdere gedoogbeleid ervoor zorgde dat we in vergelijking met het buitenland aanmerkelijk veel minder verslaafden hadden aan harddrugs als heroïne……

ANSING,
MICHIGAN — While
Democrats and Republicans went toe-to-toe for control of Congress,
voters across three states voted to relax marijuana laws, resulting
in a huge victory for the grassroots decriminalization and
legalization movement.

With
medical marijuana already legal in Michigan for several years, voters
passed a ballot proposal on Tuesday to legalize recreational
marijuana possession with 55 percent in favor of the measure. The
measure made Michigan the first Midwestern state, and the tenth state
within the U.S., to legalize recreational cannabis.

Efforts
in Michigan paid off thanks to a group called Coalition
to Regulate Marijuana Like  Alcohol.
Although the measure passed by a relatively wide margin, legalization
faced stiff opposition from a group known as Healthy and Productive
Michigan which seeks to push local municipalities to prohibit sales
by focusing on the federal ban on cannabis.

The
new laws, which are set to take effect in roughly ten days, allow
Michigan residents 21 and over to possess, use, buy, and grow
marijuana. The next step in terms of organizational efforts will
focus on expunging the criminal records of anyone with non-violent
marijuana possession charges. Between 20,000 and 24,550 people are
arrested on marijuana-related
charges in
Michigan each year, with charges disproportionately targeting young
black males.

Missouri
and surprisingly Utah also passed cannabis-friendly ballot measures
on Tuesday.

Missouri
residents endorsed Amendment 2, which favors the cultivation of
medical marijuana which would result in a 4% tax on all transactions.
Unlike Michigan, Missouri faced relatively no opposition.

Key
legislators in Utah reportedly planned to pass medical marijuana
legislation regardless of Tuesday’s results thanks to overwhelming
support from the Mormon church.

Unfortunately,
North Dakota’s Measure 3 didn’t win over enough voters to pass,
with nearly 60% voting against legalization legislation similar to
Michigan’s. Measure 3 also would have expunged the records of
citizens charged with non-violent marijuana offenses.

Who’s
Behind the Push to Keep Marijuana Illegal?

Many
industries have
a vast financial interest in keeping marijuana prohibition laws on
the books including pharmaceutical giants, alcohol lobbies, casinos,
and the prison-industrial complex.

In
Arizona, drug manufacturer Insys forked over $500,000 to a group
advocating against legalization. Insys had recently gained FDA
approval for a synthetic cannabinoid called Dronabinol and grew
concerned that legalization efforts would damage its commercial
success.

In
Massachusetts, pro-legalization efforts face stiff competition from
the alcohol lobby, which invested $75,000 to keep cannabis illegal in
2016.

Prison
suppliers also worry that legalization could hurt their bottom line.
Companies that supply correctional facilities with meals, consumer
goods, phone access, clothes, and other items rely on non-violent
crimes to keep jails and prisons overcapacity and boost profits.

Proponents
of marijuana legalization and decriminalization argue that
accessibility could reduce patient reliance on addictive opioids. To
put things into perspective, 115 people die each day from opioid
overdose.

Meanwhile, 88,000
people die
from alcohol-related deaths in the United States each year, making
alcohol consumption the third leading preventable cause of death in
the country. More than 15 million Americans suffer from alcohol use
disorder.

Despite
its widespread abuse and danger, alcohol’s legality faces virtually
no opposition from lobbying groups in the same way marijuana does.
Indeed, profits seem to always outweigh safety and public health.

LSD niet alleen als therapiemiddel maar ook om tot een betere wereld te komen

Het
gebruik van middelen als paddo’s, MDMA (ook wel ecstacy of XTC
genaamd), LSD en cannabis geniet al jaren veel belangstelling van wetenschappers, psychiaters, artsen en psychologen, bij psychiatrie
en de wetenschap is dat zelfs al vele decennia.

Steeds
meer aandoeningen worden toegevoegd aan de lange lijst van aandoeningen (zowel geestelijk als fysiek) die met succes kunnen worden behandeld met één van de voornoemde
psychedelica.

Zo
kunnen posttraumatische stressstoornissen positief worden behandeld
met MDMA, zaken als depressies en concentratiekampsyndroom (of
KZ-syndroom) kunnen succesvol met LSD worden behandeld en dat
cannabis o.a. kan worden gebruikt als pijnstiller is intussen redelijk algemeen bekend, echter cannabis kan ook helpen als middel bij
staar, een middel om ADHD’ers beter te laten functioneren en voor het
opwekken van eetlust bij kankerpatiënten.

Hieronder opgenomen een artikel over LSD van Vikram Zutshi, waarin hij o.a. schrijft over
het gebruik van LSD als middel om tot een betere wereld te komen, een
wereld waar de hersenspoeling door onderwijs, media en religie teniet
kan worden gedaan door nieuwe netwerken in de hersenen te ontwikkelen (middels het gebruik van LSD). Daarmee zal de mens i.p.v. tegen elkaar op te staan, eerder elkaar de hand reiken om samen te zorgen dat de wereld niet ten onder
gaat aan haat, afgunst, onverantwoord gebruik van grondstoffen en ga
nog maar even door.

Niet
voor niets ook dat vele overheden zich zo afzetten tegen het gebruik
van drugs als cannabis, paddo’s, LSD en XTC. Terwijl men alcohol
gewoon blijft accepteren en zelfs pissig wordt als je deze drug een
harddrug noemt, wat het wel degelijk is……… Veronderstel dat er dagelijks 12
mensen zouden overlijden aan het gebruik van XTC, het hek zou van de
dam zijn, terwijl dit bij alcohol de dagelijkse praktijk is….. (en
daar mag gewoon reclame voor worden gemaakt; vergeet voorts niet dat
alcohol fiks kankerverwekkend is!)

het volgend artikel en geeft het door, het is de hoogste tijd dat
het verzet tegen de genoemde drugs algemeen als contraproductief wordt gezien en erkend…… Dit verzet kost ons bovendien een enorm bedrag aan
politie-inzet en het voeren van rechtszaken…… Al is de
georganiseerde misdaad uiteraard wel blij met een repressief drugsbeleid, je kan verzet
tegen deze drugs dan ook rustig aanmerken als lobby voor de drugsmaffia! Zo kan men de prijzen verhogen door te wijzen op dat repressieve beleid, bovendien: pubers vinden alles wat verboden is op dat gebied uiterst interessant en zullen proberen als met alcohol deze drugs te verkrijgen…. (zoals je weet: waar een wil is is een weg….) 

In de tijd dat Nederland als enige een gedoogbeleid voerde, op in ieder geval softdrugs, waren de problemen met andere drugs verwaarloosbaar vergeleken met de ellende waar omliggende landen mee te maken hadden……

Political Significance of LSD: What You’re Not Being Told

(OD Op-ed) — “Microdosing”
on psychedelic substances like LSD—ingesting
just enough to heighten cognitive faculties, enhance creativity,
improve concentration and alleviate depression—is currently back in
vogue among people not normally associated with anything remotely
‘countercultural’ in the USA.

The
term psychedelic was
coined in 1958 by British psychiatrist Humphrey
Osmond and
is derived from the Greek words psyche (“soul,
mind”) and delein(“to
manifest”), hence “soul-manifesting,” the implication being
that psychedelics can access the soul and develop unused potentials
in the human mind. It’s a contention that’s gaining increased
acceptance in mainstream universities.

New
York University,
for example, is hosting clinical trials using psilocybin to
treat alcohol addiction. The Multidisciplinary
Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS)
has been at the forefront of research in treating patients suffering
from chronic treatment-resistant PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress
Disorder) with MDMA,
commonly known as ‘Ecstasy’. The Food and Drug Administration
(FDA) recently
designated its
MDMA-assisted psychotherapy project as a ‘breakthrough therapy.’
Apart from MDMA, MAPS also advocates the use
of Ayahuasca, Ibogaine and medical
marijuana for a
variety of conditions ranging
from bipolar syndrome and drug addiction to autism-related disorders,
ADHD and clinical depression.

The
therapeutic use of psychedelics isn’t new. Between 1953 and 1973,
the US
federal government funded over a hundred studies on
LSD with more than 1,700 subjects participating.

Psychedelics
were tested on convicts, substance abusers, people suffering from
chronic depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder, schizophrenics
and terminal cancer patients. LSD was also tested on artists and
scientists to explore its effects on creativity, and on divinity
students to examine spirituality from a neuroscientific perspective.
The empirical data gathered from these tests was
largely positive.

LSD
“truly was an acid, dissolving almost everything with which it came
into contact, beginning with the hierarchies of the mind… and going
on from there to society’s various structures of authority” says
author Michael
Pollan in
his book How
To Change Your Mind: The New Science of Psychedelics. And
that’s what makes this subject socially
and politically interesting.

“It
is curious to me that what I see as the two greatest
threats—environmental crisis and [political] tribalism—these
drugs directly address both those mindsets” Pollan
told the Guardian in
a recent interview. “They undermine our tendency to objectify
nature, to think of ourselves as separate from it. They undermine
tribalism in that people tend to emerge from these experiences
thinking that we are all more alike, all more connected.”

If
this is true, then those of us committed to social transformation
must start to take the use of psychedelics much more seriously. But
what’s the actual or potential connection between LSD and politics?

It
was a Swiss chemist called Albert
Hoffman who
discovered the drug by accident in 1938. While conducting research on
another pharmaceutical compound he absorbed the drug through his skin
and staggered home to lie down on his sofa, where, “in a dreamlike
state, with eyes closed”, he wrote later, “I perceived an
uninterrupted stream of fantastic pictures, extraordinary shapes with
intense, kaleidoscopic play of colours.” Hoffman felt he had been
given the keys to unlocking the mysteries of the universe, “the
mystical experience of a deeper, comprehensive reality.”

A
few decades later in August 1960, Timothy
Leary,
a clinical psychologist from Harvard University, traveled to
Cuernavaca in Mexico and ingested psilocybin
(‘magic’) mushrooms for
the first time, an experience that radically altered the course of
his life. In 1965, Leary
commented  that
he had “learned more about … (his) brain and its
possibilities…[and] more about psychology in the five hours after
taking these mushrooms than…in the preceding 15 years of studying
and doing research in psychology.” Leary became a lifelong
evangelist for the therapeutic benefits of psychedelics.

Theoretical
physicist Carlos
Rovelli,
author of The
Order of Time, says
his romance with quantum theory and the mysteries of the space-time
continuum were sparked by his LSD trips as a student radical at the
University of Bologna. “It was an extraordinarily strong experience
that touched me also intellectually,” he
told the Guardian.
“Among the strange phenomena was the sense of time stopping. Things
were happening in my mind but the clock was not going ahead; the flow
of time was not passing any more. It was a total subversion of the
structure of reality. How do I know that the usual perception is
right, and this is wrong?”

Rovelli
has spent the better part of his life grappling with the relationship
between space, time and consciousness, fundamental concepts that
underlie existence and how we simultaneously perceive the world and
shape it. “If I observe the microscopic state of things,” he
writes,
“then the difference between past and future vanishes … in the
elementary grammar of things, there is no distinction between ‘cause’
and ‘effect.’” The concept of time, he says, “has lost layers
one after another, piece by piece.” We are left with “an empty
windswept landscape almost devoid of all trace of temporality…a
world stripped to its essence, glittering with an arid and troubling
beauty.”

Large
parts of the world are being polarized at a rate rarely seen before,
helped in no small measure by social media ‘filter bubbles’ and
algorithms that divide people sharply along the lines of nationality
or ideology, their underlying human connections rendered increasingly
irrelevant.

Perhaps
such deep hatred and suspicion of the other was always there, but now
it has taken center stage and is being used as a potent election
strategy by populist and hyper-nationalist leaders the world over.
Like herds of cattle, large numbers of people are being programmed
and deployed as pawns for a larger agenda.

Therefore,
perhaps real change begins with rewiring our perceptual framework.
Psychedelic substances have been ingested sacramentally by indigenous
cultures to achieve this goal since the dawn of time, and now they’re
being validated by the scientific and medical communities.

The
shifts in consciousness that can be brought about by psychedelics can
help in dissolving the man-made boundaries or fear of the other that
are implanted in our collective psyche.

While
Silicon Valley bio-hackers microdosing on LSD to enhance their
workplace performance may not be looking to bring about tectonic
shifts in collective consciousness, there’s no reason to restrict
the use of psychedelics to these groups and purposes. They could also
work as a potent catalyst to awaken humankind to the dangers of toxic
nationalism and rabid nativism that threaten to engulf us.

De VS: de meest ‘vergeven’ voedselindustrie ter wereld……. VS importheffing op staal is een zegen voor de EU bevolking!

In de VS worden stoffen aan voedsel toegevoegd, die hier al lang verboden zijn. Brasscheck TV kwam met een video waarin e.e.a. wordt uitgelegd. Zie ons voorland, als het TTIP verdrag of een soortgelijk verdrag wordt getekend tussen de VS en de EU. Het getekend krijgen van dit verdrag is een zaak waar de EU al sinds het aantreden van Trump mee bezig is en men heeft zelfs een lobbyclub in Washington…… Er zou nu zelfs sprake zijn van een soortgelijk verdrag, maar dan onder een andere naam, niet alleen om de bevolking van de EU voor de zoveelste keer zand in de ogen te strooien, maar ook om het beest Trump gerust te stellen……….

In de EU houdt men de burgers voor dat zaken die op voedselgebied in de VS wel mogen, hier verboden zullen blijven….. Maar reken gerust dat alsnog veel van die levensmiddelen hier verkocht zullen mogen worden, de machtige voedselindustrie zal daarvoor een paar rechtszaken voeren voor de geheime rechtbanken (ISDS), waarmee een snel einde aan de relatieve voedselveiligheid in de EU zal worden gemaakt……..

Overigens heeft de voedselindustrie zo te zien ook redacteuren op Wikipedia, gezien de uitleg over Azodicarbonamide……. Als je leest wat daar staat zou je bijna denken dat het zonde is dat deze giftige troep niet gebruikt wordt in voedsel, terwijl de toepassingen in de kunststoffenindustrie van deze zooi voor mij al boekdelen spreekt…….

Zo bezien is de importheffing van de VS op staal (zoals die afgelopen zondag bekend werd gemaakt) een zegen voor de bevolking in de EU, immers daarmee worden de onderhandelingen over vrijhandelsverdragen flink gefrustreerd! (en wordt de VS deels geïsoleerd; ook al een groot voordeel)

Putting
this in food will get you 15 years in prison and a nearly $500,000
fine in Singapore, but in the US it’s A-OK.

Studie wijst op risico tumoren door mobiel telefoongebruik……

Mensen heb staan dubben of ik dit bericht wel moest brengen, proeven op ratten tonen verband aan tussen mobiele telefoongebruik en tumoren. Ach het is eigenlijk al heel lang bekend dat zo’n ding continu aan de kop houden gevaarlijk is…..

Dit werd overigens fel bestreden door de mobiele telefoonmaffia, dus de makers van smartphones en de netwerk aanbieders……….

Lullig dat daar nu weer dieren voor zijn opgeofferd, puur en alleen omdat er een aantal wetenschappers zijn, die wel wilden verklaren dat al deze claims berusten op lariekoek……. (het zou me verbazen als deze ‘wetenschappers’ niet zijn te linken aan die tele-maffia)

Dr. Joel Moskowitz of UC (universiteit van Californië) Berkeley klaagde het California Department of Public Health (CDPH) aan voor het niet informeren van de consument over de richtlijnen tot veilig gebruik van de smartphone, zoals: -zorg dat de telefoon niet in de buurt van je bed ligt, -verwijder de koptelefoon als deze niet in gebruik is en -verminder het streamen van video en audio op de smartphone (bij vasthouden van de telefoon, dan wel deze in de buurt van het lichaam houden tijdens het streamen van inhoud). Let wel: dit zijn interne richtlijnen van het CDPH!

Als reactie op deze aanklacht heeft het CDPH bij monde van dr. Karen Smith de consument voorgehouden de smartphone op minstens een armlengte van het lichaam te houden en de telefoon niet in de broekzak te stoppen, waarna Smith opmerkte dat het CDPH niet gelooft dat het gebruik van de smartphone kankerverwekkend is, maar dat de wetenschap op dat gebied evolueert………….. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Jezus wat een bedrieger!

Verdomd, je zou de telefoonmaffia, overheidsinstanties, wetenschappers die lobbyen voor de tele-mafia en verantwoordelijke politici strafrechtelijk moeten vervolgen voor deze ronduit misdadige gang van zaken! (en vervolg ze civiel >> dikke schadevergoeding voor slachtoffers, al is natuurlijk moeilijk aan te tonen wat de oorzaak van een hersen- of andere tumor is, hoewel sommige tumoren overdadig voorkomen bij smartphone gebruikers……….)

Gebruik je verstand en zorg ervoor dat je niet continu zo’n ding in de hand hebt, dan wel aan je hoofd houdt. Je zal verrast zijn hoe snel je zonder deze apparaten echt contact legt met anderen, ook in het openbaar vervoer en op straat, bovendien scheelt het botsingen met objecten of mensen (of dat nu lopend, fietsend of met de auto is, al zijn de gevolgen daarvan dan wel weer heel verschillend….).

Trouwens, dit zet (zoals zojuist al even aangestipt) alweer extra vraagtekens bij het overheidsbeleid op dit soort zaken…… Ach ook dat is niets nieuws, de centen gaan nu eenmaal mijlenver voor de volksgezondheid, zoals telkens weer blijkt……. Snap werkelijk niet waarom er nog mensen op de gangbare politieke partijen stemmen, één zootje bedriegers!! (zelfs de SP past haar ideologie aan, als het deel kan nemen aan een bestuur) Alleen de Partij voor de Dieren is nog een gunstige uitzondering, de grote vraag is of dit zo zal blijven als de politici van deze partij in besturen terechtkomen…….

Study Links Cellphone Radiation to Tumors in Male Rats

(AP) — A
new report from the U.S. government is likely to create further
debate regarding whether or not cellphones and other mobile devices
pose a cancer risk to humans. According to a draft report from
researchers the United States National Toxicology Program (NTP), male
rats exposed to high levels of radiation similar to that emitted by
cellphones developed tumors in the tissue surrounding their hearts.
The report also found that female rats and mice exposed to the same
amount of radiation did not develop tumors. Reuters first
reported on the release of the preliminary report.

Reuters reports:

“However,
NTP scientists and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) were
quick to say the findings could not be extrapolated to humans and
that current safety limits on cellphone radiation are protective.

The
10-year, $25 million studies – the most comprehensive assessments
of health effects and exposure to radiofrequency radiation in rats
and mice to date – do raise new questions about exposure to the
ubiquitous devices.”

The
NTP study involved exposing rats and mice to higher levels of
radiation for longer periods than is typically experienced by the
average cellphone user. Researchers also exposed the entire body of
the rats and mice to this high dose of radiation. The report
concluded that cellphones typically emit lower levels of radiation
than the maximum allowable level. Interestingly, John Bucher, a
senior scientist with NTP, told Reuters that
the tumors seen in the studies are “similar to tumors previously
reported in some studies of frequent cellphone users.”

A statement
from the American Cancer Society said
the findings of the studies are inconclusive. “For example, the
newly released results show little indication of an increased risk of
tumors or any other health problems in mice exposed to RFR,” the
ACS wrote. “Also, the male rats exposed to RFR in the study lived,
on average, significantly longer than the male rats who were not
exposed. The reasons for this are not clear.”

The
ACS also noted that the study has not yet been peer reviewed by
outside experts. Peer review is expected in March. Dr. Otis Brawley,
chief medical officer of the American Cancer Society, called the
evidence for association between cell phones and cancer “weak”,
pointing to an apparent lack of higher cancer risk in humans. “But
if you’re concerned about this animal data, wear an earpiece,”
Brawley stated.

The
US Food and Drug Administration released a statement affirming their
support of the current safety limits as “acceptable for protecting
the public health.”

To
be clear, this is not the first time studies examining the dangers of
radiofrequency devices such as cellphones and microwaves have caused
controversy. Studies in both Australia and India have
found that men who use their cellphones most often had lower sperm
counts than those who used cellphones less often. In addition, in
2011, the World Health Organization’s International Agency for
Research on Cancer classified radiofrequency radiation emitted by
cellphones as “possibly carcinogenic to humans.”

There
are also studies which have concluded there is no risk of cancer or
other illnesses from the radiation released by cellphones.
An 18-month
study from Denmark compared
cancer rates in 360,000 cell phone users to adults without cellphone
subscriptions and found no connection to brain or spinal cord tumors.

More
recently, in late 2017 it was revealed that the California Department
of Public Health had issued internal guidelines on how to reduce
exposure to cellphone radiation. The guidelines included keeping the
phone away from bed at night, removing headsets when not on a call,
and reducing streaming of audio or video on cellphones. The
guidelines were released to the public as the result of a lawsuit
filed by Dr. Joel Moskowitz of UC Berkeley. Moskowitz sued the
California Department of Public Health
after they failed to release information about potential dangers of
cellphones back in 2009. “Currently
we’re not doing a good job in regulating radiation from these
devices. In fact, we’re doing an abysmal job,” Moskowitz
told CBS San Francisco.

In
response to the release of the guidelines Dr. Karen Smith of the
California Department of Public Health recommended users keep the
cellphone “at least arm’s length away from your body” and not
carrying the phone in your pockets. Smith said the CDPH does not
believe cell phones are carcinogens, but rather, “that the science
is evolving.”
