Voor
Trump is de Coronacrisis al voorbij, er moet weer geld verdiend
worden, dus geen gezeur meer over het Coronavirus, dat vooral de
grote (gekleurde) arme onderlaag in de VS treft. Waar deze ploert ook
nog een de naam van George Floyd durft te misbruiken, door gekleurden
die demonstreren tegen het ongebreidelde politiegeweld na te schoppen met woorden als zouden zij juist de nagedachtenis
van Floyd misbruiken om te rellen…….
Het is
intussen (zeker in de VS) bekend dat infiltranten van politie, FBI
en zelfs de CIA (‘agent provocateur’) mensen aanzetten tot het plunderen van winkels en geweld te gebruiken
tijdens demonstraties, meerdere beelden en getuigenissen bevestigen
e.e.a…..* De bedoeling daarvan is duidelijk: het bagatelliseren van de politiemoorden op gekleurde mensen en het demoniseren van de demonstranten, zodat desnoods dodelijk geweld kan worden gebruikt tegen de demonstranten die voor het overgrote deel vreedzaam protesteren…….. Kortom het gaat hier om een vorm van een false flag operatie, waarbij men de schuld voor bijvoorbeeld vernielingen aangericht door deze infiltranten in de schoenen kan schuiven van demonstranten die geen geweld hebben gebruikt……
Arme
gekleurde inwoners van de VS worden nog steeds niet als gelijken van
de witte bevolking behandeld, zo verdient een gekleurde arbeider
minstens 30% minder dan diens witte collega…. Ook de
gezondheidszorg is voor velen uit die onderlaag niet te betalen,
zodat velen overlijden daar ze geen geld hebben om bijvoorbeeld een
chemokuur te betalen…… De wijken waar deze mensen wonen zijn vaak
in de buurt van zware en vervuilende industrieën, waaronder
chemische bedrijven, zaken die de gezondheid van deze mensen
allesbehalve ten goede komt en hun weerstand afbreekt (waardoor ze meer bevattelijk zijn voor virussen als COVID-19…..)
Vind je
het dan gek dat na de zoveelste (en bijna ontelbare) politiemoord op
een gekleurde, de stoppen doorslaan bij deze mensen……
Het
volgende artikel is er één uit een reeks die elke vrijdag wordt
gepubliceerd en waarin wordt aangeven wat Trump de afgelopen week
weer heeft geflikt, zoals het gewelddadige opbreken van een vreedzame
demonstratie voor het Witte Huis, daar hij een foto van zichzelf kon laten nemen, zogenaamd met een serieuze
kop en een bijbel in de hand
voor een kerk……. (daarbij hield deze psychopathische fascist die bijbel, ook nog
eens op de kop! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!):
Aan het
eind van het volgende artikel nog even aandacht voor Obama die weer
eens met het cliché ‘change’ op de proppen kwam, terwijl deze
hypocriete oorlogsmisdadiger tijdens de 2 termijnen van zijn presidentschap amper of niets heeft gedaan om de
situatie van de gekleurden te verbeteren, sterker nog de eerste 2
jaar van zijn eerste termijn had hij daadwerkelijk veel kunnen doen
op dat gebied vanwege een sterke Democratische fractie in het congres

cases rise but Trump is ready to ignore coronavirus
Trump
During COVID-19 [PFAW Update]
Donald Trump’s
cruelty, corruption, and leadership failures are deeply connected to
the anger and pain millions of Americans feel following the fatal
anti-Black violence and police brutality against Ahmaud Arbery,
Breonna Taylor, Tony McDade, George Floyd, and others. It’s
important to understand the ways that the pandemic – and Trump’s
response to it – have disproportionately
hurt the Black community. As Zinzi Bailey, a social
epidemiologist, said,
“The stories about the protests are also the stories about COVID-19
and racism.”
Even though Trump is
not singularly responsible for the scope of systemic racism
in this country, his
dangerous lies and failures during the coronavirus crisis
have undoubtedly inflamed anti-Black racism, and have exacerbated
the disproportionate harm that the
pandemic has caused to Black Americans.
This week, Trump’s
falsehoods and failures continued:
No
list of Trump’s failures this week would be complete without
noting the appalling events of Tuesday evening, when Trump tasked
Attorney General William Barr with forcefully clearing
peaceful protesters from Lafayette Park for a Trump photo-op in
front of a church.
(He did not
wear a mask.) Trump described the images of National Guard and
police forces enacting violence against the protestors as “a
beautiful thing to watch.”
In
the midst of all his other bad actions this week, Trump continued to assail
the legitimacy
of voting by mail, despite its success
in more states as their election security measures are expanded. Trump’s
assault has been so forceful that the GOP has started to worry that
his relentless criticism of and lies
surrounding mail-in ballots might harm
his reelection prospects in November.
Trump
appears ready
to “move past” dealing with the coronavirus crisis, even
though confirmed cases continue to rise
across the country.
On Sunday, Adm. Brett Giroir confirmed that he will be standing down
from his pandemic-appointed role and that there is no
plan to replace him as the head of coronavirus testing. Dr.
Anthony Fauci also said on Sunday that he hasn’t spoken to Trump in
weeks. The
White House’s coronavirus
task force has been “sharply
curtailed” while millions of Americans still need unemployment
and other assistance.
Additionally, there is no plan to lessen the estimated
$8 trillion cost of the pandemic through 2030.
President Barack Obama
posted an op-ed in Medium
on Sunday, in which he wrote, “These
past few months have been hard and dispiriting … the fear, sorrow,
uncertainty, and hardship of a pandemic have been compounded by
tragic reminders that prejudice and inequality still shape so much of
American life.”
He continued to encourage Americans to channel our heightened
emotions into concrete action, including “[electing]
government officials who are responsive to our demands.”
Trump is not
responsive to the demands of anyone other
than his far-right base,
and his actions this week have only highlighted the narrowness of his
focus. He
has no place in the next chapter of the American story.

De straf voor het in feite wurgen van Henriquez: 1 agent kreeg 6 maanden voorwaardelijk en een ontzegging zijn beroep uit te oefenen voor de periode van 1 jaar….. In de VS had dit zonder meer tot grote rellen geleid……
Terecht merkt Care2 op dat politiegeweld tegen (gekleurde) mensen die vreedzaam demonstreren, een schending is van de mensenrechten (waar de moord op Floyd en andere gekleurden m.i. zelfs valt onder misdaden tegen de menselijkheid……)

are sworn to protect.

protestors with batons, and using teargas — a chemical weapon that
impairs respiratory functioning in the midst of a pandemic — on
trapped crowds.

rather than respecting and safeguarding civilians’ rights, the U.S.
has gone the opposite direction. Our leaders have militarized local

escalation has given those who’ve sworn to “serve and protect”
the misguided notion that they’re a paramilitary unit of their own,
and encouraged the idea that they’re at war — with the

Martenson publiceerde op Peak Prosperity (door mij overgenomen
van Zero Hedge) een artikel waarin hij niet alleen wijst op de reacties
die de moord op George Floyd losmaakten, maar dat die reacties ook worden
gevoed door de grote achterstand van gekleurden in de VS, die zelfs
door te trekken is naar de arme witte onderlaag in de VS en naar andere landen
waar men het niet langer pikt dat geld vooral naar de grote bedrijven
en de welgestelden gaat, neem de protesten van vorig jaar in Chili en
de Gele Hesjesbeweging in Frankrijk (die zich overigens ook heeft
verspreid naar andere landen).
Martenson
haalt ook Hongkong aan, echter daar begaat hij een denkfout, immers
de protesten gaan daar bepaald niet over ongelijkheid in inkomen,
maar over politiek, waar China meer grip wenst op Hongkong, nadat
bepaalde groepen zich met grof geweld (zelfs tegenstanders in brand
steken) hebben verzet tegen de invloed van China……Ofwel met deze
agressie hebben deze gewelddadige protesten het aan zichzelf te danken
dat China ingrijpt….. Hoe ongelofelijk dom kan je zijn? Overigens
houden de reguliere westerse (massa-) media dit geweld zoveel mogelijk
uit de berichtgeving…
Juist de arme gekleurde minderheid in de VS wordt hard getroffen door het Coronavirus, logisch daar arme burgers in de VS amper of geen geld hebben voor gezonde voeding….. Zo is in de VS ‘eten’ van ketens als MacDonalds goedkoper dan gezonde, vers groente en fruit uit de supermarkt…. Voor deze mensen is een veganistisch ‘dieet’ (intussen heel uitgebreid en met meer smaak dan zuivel en vlees) al helemaal geen optie daar dit veel te kostbaar is…… (zuivel en vlees worden dan ook gesubsidieerd….)
Als je
ziet hoeveel geld de Trump administratie sinds de Coronacrisis in grote
bedrijven heeft gestoken en financiele maatregelen heeft genomen die alleen de welgestelden ten goede
komen, zakt je broek van de bips, terwijl vele miljoenen arbeiders
werkloos zijn geworden, die na de fooi van Trump ook op persoonlijk
niveau failliet zijn gegaan en nu hun huis moeten verlaten of dat al hebben gedaan (dan heeft men daar
nog het geluk dat je gewoon de deur achter je dicht mag trekken,
zonder eerst alles kwijt te zijn geraakt….)
Vergelijk het voorgaande maar met
Nederland waar hare D66 kwaadaardigheid Ollongren weigert de huren te
bevriezen, terwijl de huurders al meer betalen dan kopers en hun
jaarlijkse huurverhoging is gebaseerd op de prijsstijgingen in het
voorafgaande jaar, die gvd voor het grootste deel zijn gebaseerd op de
huurverhoging van dat vorige jaar!! Hoe smerig en misdadig kan je mensen
dubbel besodemieteren???!!!!!
Ook nadat de bankencrisis in 2008 in alle hevigheid losbarstte bleef men huurverhogingen doorvoeren, ofwel ook toen geen bevriezing van de huren, terwijl de koophuizenprijs fiks onderuitging….. Vergeet daarbij niet dat de hoge huurprijs tevens was en is gebaseerd op de achterlijk hoge huizenprijs, ofwel zelfs een fikse verlaging van die huizenprijs heeft niet geleid tot een huurverlaging, integendeel, zoals gezegd: de huurprijs bleef jaar na jaar stijgen…… Een meer dan schandalig onrecht en totaal inhumaan!!! (en dan steelt de regering jaar na jaar door huurders gespaarde gelden middels de belachelijke verhuurdersbelasting >> leg die belasting maar op aan de schoften die voor een postzegel aan ruimte meer dan € 1.000,– per jaar durven te vragen…..)
Wellicht
dat de situatie in de VS een vonk produceert die over een groot deel
van de wereld mensen in opstand zal brengen tegen hun
‘volksvertegenwoordigingen’ die niets anders doen dan de belangen
behartigen van grote bedrijven en de welgestelden, i.p.v. die van het
volk waarvoor ze werden gekozen…… Wat dat betreft zijn de demonstraties tegen het discrimineren van gekleurden in veel andere landen hoopgevend!
Personal
safety & security are quickly becoming more important in this era
of growing social rage
Decades
of unfairness are now boiling over in the United States in the form
of protests, riots, burning buildings and violence.
Minneapolis is on fire
– literally – and the unrest has spread to numerous other major
cities.
Last year (2019) The
Yellow Vest protesters in France dealt with enormous amount of police
violence and intimidation as they put life and limb on the line to
try and wrest better economic and living conditions for themselves.
The people of Hong
Kong are back out in force again now that the Coronavirus threat has
abated, seeking greater autonomy and control over their own lives.
Last year (2019) Chileans also protested, seeking better wages and
living conditions.
While the specific
demands of each of these movements are unique, they all share common
causes.
Our analysis at Peak
Prosperity is this: the days of constant exponential growth on a
finite planet are drawing to a close. All of the systems that govern
the sharing of resources among humans – political, economic and
especially financial – are designed to concentrate, not share,
wealth.
Taken
together, we have an economic pie that is no longer growing but is
subject to a set of laws and financial predation that guarantee the
wealthy get more than their fair share of what remains.
This leads to
increasingly visible, palpable unfairness.
Primates hate that:

In today’s
world, it’s grapes for the elites and cucumbers for the rest of us
(if we’re even that lucky).
That’s been the
model for a long time, but lately it’s been both accelerating and
exposed for all to see.
Team Elite™ is busy
gorging on grapes. It has granted itself $trillions of freshly
printed dollars from the US Federal Reserve in order to prop up
‘their fair share of things’ like bonds, stocks, and derivatives.
That leads to these
sorts of jarring headline juxtapositions:
Without any question
whatsoever, the Federal Reserve has been printing up money like crazy
and stuffing it into every crevice of the US financial markets in a
bid to…well, drive up financial asset prices.
They’ve been
extremely tone deaf the entire way while pretending that their aim
isn’t to make the rich richer, or deliver fatter profits to banks.
Of course, both of those things are indeed happening as a direct
result of the Fed’s policies and anybody with eyes can see that —
yet the media refuses to acknowledge this.
Really, it’s
extremely easy to identify. Here’s what ‘grapes for the wealthy!’
looks like — see that $3 trillion spike since April?
All
of that printing leads to some stocks now being at their priciest
ratio to earnings ever:
We also see the same
price-goosing with bonds. Corporate bonds are now once again
approaching historically low yields which means, in the see-saw
language of bonds, they are almost as pricey as they’ve ever
been. In
history:
Who received the
benefits of that gigantic cluster of grapes that the Fed has lavished
upon the bond markets?
Well, the owners of
all those bonds of course, and the major corporations now able to
borrow at rock bottom costs even as small and medium sized
enterprises are being wiped out.
As I often say, the
Fed doesn’t actually create wealth, it redistributes wealth.
While doing that it is both directly and indirectly picking winners
and losers.
The above chart of
corporate bond yields says the Fed is picking large corporations and
the wealthy elite over small companies and Main Street folks.
Of course, there are
no grapes quite as sweet as the ‘special interest’ varietals that
are served to only the wealthiest of real estate investors:
The only thing that
could make this worse would be for some White House official to
condescendingly insult all us regular people by referring to us in
non-human terms.
I have dozens
more such examples. But I trust you get the point: the vast
unfairness of the US system is now exposed for all to see.
And that inequity has become even more predatory
in our hour of need during the Covid-19 pandemic. Which is why social
frustration and angst are now in the process of boiling over.
The reason why is as
old as civilization itself, showing up ever since the first group of
humans organized themselves into a cultural pyramid:
People often
ask me why I shake my angry monkey-fist at the Federal Reserve so
often. It’s because of the above quote. I’m the sort that prefers
to avoid unnecessary pain and suffering. The Federal Reserve seems to
be institutionally ignorant of the above fatal ailment.
]What the Fed is doing
is wholly unnecessary and manifestly unfair. It will lead to tears
yet, regrettably, it is completely avoidable. Grapes for Wall Street,
and cucumbers (or worse) for everyone else. It’s just how they’re
wired. They literally cannot help themselves,. So things are certain
to get worse before they get better.
It
All Boils Over
The institutional
failures of the Federal Reserve aside, there are also the obvious
failures of management (I can’t bring myself to call them
‘leadership’ anymore) at our major health institutions,
politicians who are far quicker to the rescue of major corporations
than constituents, politicized and even falsified ‘science’
coming from formerly respected institutions, the list goes on and on.
Every one of
these breaches of public trust undermines our collective safety and
security. Beyond some incalculable level the foundation gives way.
The lowest level of
management in this story are the police. For decades many police
departments have been heavily militarized and trained often by
Israelis who’ve done a remarkable job embedding the mindset of
occupying forces into US policing.
Toss in some
unresolved racial biases and animosity, civil asset forfeiture,
no-knock raids for petty reasons that routinely result in innocent
lives being violently taken, and you’ve got a tinder pile waiting
for a spark.
George Floyd was that
spark. A particularly callous officer with a long string of
unpunished claims of excessive force and violence lodged against him,
knelt on George’s neck until he was dead while 3 other officers
stood by and casually watched. Against the backdrop outlined
above, this was one flagrant abuse too many.
Editorially,
the person now being vetted as a possible VP for the Biden campaign,
Amy Klobuchar was the prosecutor in Minneapolis for many years who
could have delivered justice to the lower classes. Let’s check her
record:
Sadly, this is
a record that can be found in hundreds of other cities. It’s
neither an uncommon nor a defensible record. As a reminder, in the
aftermath of the Michael Brown killing and riots in Ferguson MO
(2014) the justice department came in and discovered that in a city
of 20,000 mostly poor people there were 16,000 outstanding arrest
warrants. Think about that for a second.
Many for infractions
like ‘impeding pedestrian flow’ (a.k.a. standing on the
sidewalk). The humans were little more that ATM livestock for the
police and court machinery to exploit.
And so, with the
killing of George Floyd, Minneapolis exploded.
There’s
More Unrest On The Way. Get Prepared.
Welcome everyone to
these turbulent times.
We all want to live in
a just, fair, and safe world. Some people are born into peaceful
times.
Others aren’t so lucky. History goes through its turnings.
Well, here we
are, smack in the middle of a whopper of a fourth
turning. So let’s make the most of it.
I take the safety and
security of myself and the people around me very seriously. Because
it’s my responsibility I train, and I plan, and I think things
through.
My home is in a town I
judge to be very safe, and I’m not the fearful sort, so I really
have to push myself to prioritize the other steps. Which I am doing
because it has to be done.
The calm days
are over. There’s a new future coming, one that promises to be a
lot more interesting as
the old Chinese saying goes.
I wish I believed that
the worst of the social unrest was behind us. I don’t. Given the
actions of the Fed and Plutarch’s quote, and the total lack of any
pushback from the media on these matters, I am anticipating grapes
for the elites and worse-than-cucumbers for everyone else for many
years to come.
Which means
it’s time for you to more seriously consider your approach to
personal security, especially if you live in or near a city. I
certainly am.
As a true mark of the
turning, a growing number of my friends who would never have
considered owning a gun before are now thinking about doing so. All
sorts of formerly ‘hard’ decisions suddenly become up for grabs
when folks start feeling more physically vulnerable.
But personal
security is far more than ‘owning a gun.’ It’s a mindset as
well as a behavior set. And above all, it’s about avoiding trouble
in the first place.
It includes taking
sensible steps to protect your home from being an easy target for
crime. It means having a plan and well-practiced skills in place to
keep yourself and your loved ones safe from violence. It means
aligning with neighbors to watch each others’ backs. It means
practicing with whatever tools or systems you adopt so that they are
second nature to you if you ever have to use them.

Te triest voor woorden: hulpverleners in vuilniszakken en politiepersoneel in ‘moderne’ militaire uniformen…… Eén en ander is tevens het signaal dat de rest van de wereld de VS sancties op moet leggen, niet alleen vanwege de barbaarse omgang met gekleurde burgers in de VS, maar ook vanwege de uitoefening van ongebreidelde terreur door de VS en dat wereldwijd, waar het de regering van dit middels een genocide gestolen land maar uitkomt…….
Gekleurde burgers die niet alleen minstens 30% minder verdienen dan hun witte collega’s, maar ook nog eens veel harder worden getroffen door het Coronavirus, daar de overheid veel minder geld steekt in de bestrijding van het virus voor deze burgers, achtergestelde mensen die vaak al veel minder weerstand hebben daar ze veelal in fikse armoede moeten leven en daardoor veel meer kans lopen het virus op te lopen……
Tijd ook dat het Internationaal Strafhof (ICC) de gehele Trump administratie op de gezochten lijst zet, gezocht voor massa- en seriemoord (o.a. van verdachten middels drones, waarbij meer dan 90% van de vermoorden niet eens werd verdacht…), verkrachting, marteling en economische oorlogsvoering middels illegale sancties, waardoor bijvoorbeeld in Venezuela al bijna 50.000 mensen om het leven zijn gekomen…….
Niets
nieuws, het feit dat de politie en de FBI in de VS infiltreren in
groepen die zich verzetten tegen onrecht, al zo oud en zelfs nog
ouder dan het Counter Intelligence Program ofwel COINTELPRO. Dit is een FBI
programma dat tussen 1956 en 1971 werd gebruikt om groepen in de VS
die zich tegen onrecht verzetten, in diskrediet te brengen en de
activisten tegen elkaar op te zetten, plus een aantal andere smerige
acties……
Nu
blijkt weer dat ook tijdens de rellen n.a.v. de politiemoord op
George Floyd, FBI/politie infiltranten bezig zijn om de mensen aan te
zetten tot geweld, zodat men een legitimatie heeft om bijvoorbeeld op de
demonstranten te kunnen schieten en de aandacht af te leiden van waar het echt om gaat: de zoveelste in een onafzichtelijke rij politemoorden op gekleurde mensen…… Eén en ander is te vergelijken met de false flag
acties van de VS in het buitenland, zoals die tegen Noord-Vietnam,
waardoor de VS zogenaamd legaal een oorlog kon beginnen tegen dat
land…. Ook in Syrië vonden meerdere VS false flag acties plaats,
terreurgroepen die onder regie van de CIA gifgasaanvallen uitvoerden
om deze in de schoenen van Assad te schuiven…….

Op BBC
World Service durfde men zaterdagmiddag na 15.00 u. te zeggen dat de
protesten en vernielingen ‘spontaan’ plaatsvinden……. ‘Spontaan’ na de zoveelste politemoord op een gekleurde…… Erger me ook enorm aan de zogenaamd onafhankelijke NOS dat in haar nieuwsberichten continu spreekt over de dood van een gekleurde tijdens een arrestatie, terwijl het bij wijze van spreken voor een kind duidelijk is dat het hier om een (politie-) moord gaat……
Het
volgende artikel werd geschreven door Caitlin Johnstone, waarin zij o.a. wijst op de getuigenis van journalist Max Blumenthal* die eerder politie/FBI infiltranten ontmaskerde, lees het artikel en geeft het door, tijd dat de waarheid nu eindelijk tot iedereen doordringt!!
A video
has been circulating of
a white man casually smashing the windows of a Minneapolis shop with
a hammer during protests against the police murder of George Floyd.
The man is clearly trying to hide his identity by wearing a gas mask,
carrying a large umbrella, and wearing full-length black clothing.
Protesters
can be seen intervening to stop his destructive behavior in the
video.
“Are
you a fucking cop?” one asks.
An
officer with the Saint Paul Police Department has
been publicly named
by someone identified as the officer’s ex-wife, who
said his voice, walk and gas mask made her “90% sure” it was
him. The Saint Paul Police Department has
denied this.
Maybe
it is, maybe it isn’t, but it is a very safe bet that it’s a law
enforcement officer of some kind. Disruptive police infiltration of
protest movements is a historical constant in America, after all. It
is the norm, not the exception.
Journalist
Max Blumenthal has uploaded a very
interesting video
of an encounter he had with an undercover cop posing as a protester
in Washington, DC.

Blumenthal
began following a man he
reports
he’d spotted coming out of an unmarked vehicle in an area that had
been completely sealed off by marked police cars, meaning the police
were restricting who came and went from that area. Blumenthal began
questioning the man, asking him if he’d been to the protests and if
he was a cop. The man said he’d been to the protests but denied he
was a cop, saying that he worked with CNN.
Blumenthal
then went to the unmarked vehicle the man had come from, where two
more men were seated. He asked them if they were cops, which they
denied, then asked if they were with CNN, which they also denied,
saying they were “just hanging out”. Blumenthal informed
them that he’d just caught the fake protester in a lie, at which
point they rolled up the car window.
Local
outlet KHOU 11 News was told by the Houston police department that
protests over George Floyd’s murder would be attended by both
“uniformed officers and plain-clothed officers”. This
admission cannot be found in KHOU’s reporting any longer, but it has
been screenshotted
and still shows
up on Google searches
as of this writing.
None
of these people are paranoid or irrational. For generations it has
been a well-established fact that police will reliably infiltrate
protests and political movements, and it remains
so to this day.

protesters,
police infiltration of American protests has been as certain as death
and taxes.
How
many agents or infiltrators can we expect to see inside a movement?
One of the most notorious “police riots” was at the 1968
Democratic National Convention. Independent journalist Yasha
Levine writes:
“During the 1968 protests of the Democratic National Convention in
Chicago, which drew about 10,000 protesters and was brutally crushed
by the police, 1
out of 6 protesters was a federal undercover agent.
That’s right, 1/6th of the total protesting population was made up
of spooks drawn from various federal agencies. That’s roughly 1,600
people! The stat came from an Army document obtained by CBS News in
1978, a full decade after the protest took place.
According
to CBS, the infiltrators were not passive observers, monitoring and
relaying information to central command, but were involved in violent
confrontations with the police.”
Peter
Camejo, who ran as a Socialist Workers Party candidate for president
in 1976, as a Green Party candidate for governor of California in
2003 and as Ralph Nader’s vice presidential running mate in 2004,
often told
of infiltration in
his mid-’70s presidential campaign. After campaign offices were
burglarized, Camejo was able to get the FBI into court by suing it
over COINTELPRO activities. The judge asked the FBI special agent in
charge how many FBI agents had worked in Camejo’s presidential
campaign; the answer was 66.
Camejo
estimated he had a campaign staff of 400 across the country. Once
again that would be an infiltration rate of about one in six.
Camejo discovered that among the agents was his campaign co-chair. He
also discovered eavesdropping equipment in a campaign office and
documents showing the FBI had followed him since he was an
18-year-old student activist.
This
is important for all of us to be aware of, not just the people
attending these protests.
Any
time we are told a protester threw this or rioters set fire that, we
must take this information with a very large grain of salt, because
we usually won’t be able to know it wasn’t an undercover cop acting
as an agent
provocateurto
shape a narrative and justify more use of force to disperse the
crowd. The idiot with the umbrella did it in a very ham-fisted and
obvious way, and we can expect other police infiltrators to be more
clever about it as well.
This
is not to say none of the anger we’ve seen exhibited at these
protests is real and grassroots; people have a lot to be angry about,
and surely much of the destruction we’re seeing is the organic result
of way too many people being pushed way too far by a cruel and
abusive system. It’s just to say that we should all be as skeptical
as we would be when dealing with any other narratives we know
powerful factions have a vested interest in manipulating, and not
treat any claim about protester behavior as a certain fact.
The
powerful few are afraid of the many. Always have been, always will
be. And there’s nothing they and their goon squad won’t do to try and
rein in any group which poses a threat to their power if they can get
away with it.

Na de
moord door politieagent Derek Chauvin op George Floyd, sloeg de vlam
weer eens in de pan: beelden uit Minneapolis en andere steden in de VS laten ten overvloede nog
eens de woede zien van gekleurde mensen die als vuil worden behandeld
door de politie in de VS, die jaarlijks een fiks aantal gekleurde mensen
vermoorden, waar de daders NB ook nog eens voor het overgrote deel
mee wegkomen…..
Op 23
februari dit jaar werd Ahmaud Marquez Arbery door een ex-agent en
diens zoon doodgeschoten, alleen omdat hij bezig was met joggen en
dat was in de ogen van deze twee fascistische racisten het teken dat
hij wel een misdadiger moest zijn, immers de man was gekleurd en
hardlopend…… Deze twee fascisten kwamen er in eerste instantie
ook nog mee weg, ‘logisch’ immers het zijn witten en die staan nu
eenmaal bovenaan de ladder, terwijl gekleurde VS burgers niet eens op die
ladder mogen staan….
Afgelopen maart was het de beurt aan Breonna Taylor die in Louisville woonde, zij werd in haar huis doodgeschoten, ofwel vermoord door 3 politiemannen…… Pas deze maand heeft de FBI aangekondigd een onafhankelijk onderzoek in te stellen naar de moord op Taylor…. Lachen past hier niet, anders zou je je daadwerkelijk kapot lachen…… De FBI in combinatie met een onafhankelijk onderzoek is een gotspe!!
De hiervoor opgesomde moorden zijn nog maar het spreekwoordelijke topje van de ijsberg……
Veel reguliere mediaorganen in de VS klagen vooral over de woede van de gekleurden na de zoveelste politiemoord op een gekleurd persoon, zelfs een eerder als alternatief bekend staand mediaorgaan als Zero Hedge laat vooral de vernielingen zien en laat als klap op de vuurpijl ronduit racistisch en fascistisch commentaar van lezers onder het bericht staan……..
Caitlin
Johnstone schreef een artikel na de moord op Floyd, ze analyseert de
maatschappij waarin dergelijke moorden als ‘normaal’
worden gezien door de witten en….. de gekleurden….. Waarbij
opgemerkt dient te worden dat de gekleurden dit wel als een ‘normale
gang van zaken’ zien, echter doordat het in de VS schering en inslag is wat betreft moorrddadig politieoptreden tegen gekleurde mensen, maar waar deze bevolkingsgroep letterlijk doodziek van
wordt, we leven immers niet in 1720 maar in 2020…. Het is dan ook allesbehalve vreemd dat de woede van deze mensen telkens weer uit de hand loopt….
Johnstone
wijst niet alleen naar de VS waar dergelijk geweld mogelijk is, maar
ook naar haar ‘moederland’ Australië, waarover ze volkomen terecht
stelt dat dit een door de witten gestolen land is en dat over stromen
aan bloed van de oorspronkelijke bewoners, ofwel eenzelfde scenario
als in de VS en de rest van de 3 Amerika’s……..
Je zou
denken dat het hier wel heel anders aan toegaat en het politiegeweld dat
hier wordt gebruikt tegen minderheden, kan niet in de schaduw staan
van wat er in de VS gebeurt. Hoewel: ook wij kennen uiterst
gewelddadig politieoptreden, neem de moord op Mitch
Henriquez….. Henriquez werd zoals Floyd door een politieagent
vermoord middels de nekklem, terwijl zo’n 4 andere agenten bovenop
het slachtoffer zaten….. De man moet al bijna dood zijn geweest
toen men hem in een politiebus sleurde, i.p.v. een ambulance te
bellen….. Henriquez moet zijn overleden in die politiebus…… Kortom alle betrokken agenten zijn schuldig aan de moord
op Henriquez…… Uiteindelijk
werd één agent veroordeeld tot een voorwaardelijke gevangenisstraf
van 6 maanden (….) en een jaar ontzegging van de uitoefening van zijn beroep…… ‘Gerechtigheid’ anno
2019……. GGGVD!!!
De
politie in Nederland is bij herhaling betrapt op etnisch profileren
en toch is er niets veranderd, het gebeurt nog steeds…… Zo zag ik in
het begin van de ‘intelligente lockdown’ een paar agenten een
gekleurde man apart nemen, terwijl hij zijn fiets op slot wilde
zetten, hij werd tegen de muur gezet waarna de twee hem aan de tand
voelden over de fiets en waar hij deze gekocht had…. Let wel: de
man zag er bepaald niet uit als een verslaafde die fietsen steelt,
mooie kleding, alleen wel een heel grote bos met haar en kijk dat is
al uiterst verdacht: een gekleurde die een in de ogen van de agenten
een dure fiets op slot zet en dan ook nog eens een gekleurde man met een afrokapsel >>
‘uitermate verdacht, zoals je begrijpt….’ Gelukkig lieten de
agenten de man vrij snel gaan, maar als witte sta je wel verbluft toe
te kijken, walgelijk!!!
Lees de
uitstekende overdenking van Johnstone. Eén ding is zeker: voor gekleurden bestaat er
amper gerechtigheid als het gaat om politie-inzet (ook in ons land)
en zegt het voort!
You’ve
probably already seen the
footage
of a white police officer named Derek Chauvin cheerfully suffocating
a black man named George Floyd to death with his knee while Floyd
pleaded for his life. This went viral around the same time as another
viral video
where a white woman in Central Park called New York police on a black
man who posed no threat to her while making sure to inform the police
that he was black, and just weeks after video
footage surfaced
of a black man named Ahmaud Arbery being shot to death by a
white former cop and his son while out for a jog.
So
race is on everyone’s mind, and rightly so. And whether we’re honest
with ourselves or we throw a bunch of verbiage at it to try and
compartmentalize away from it, white people are all aware when we
watch George Floyd being torturously murdered that there’s no way it
could have been us on the business end of that knee. Not because of
our impeccable manners or our sparkling personality, but because our
skin is a certain color.
And
whether we choose to directly acknowledge this reality or not, we’re
going to experience discomfort on some level. And mainly what I want
to say here is, that’s okay.
It
can be tempting to try and distance ourselves from this discomfort by
making it about individuals: that individual cop was a bad, bad man
and I would never do such a thing, and I didn’t, so I have no
accountability here. And of course it’s true that you were not
personally directly responsible for George Floyd’s actual murder, but
white people who urgently advance that truism are only ever doing so
to avoid confronting the more uncomfortable reality that they live in
and benefit from a society which guarantees that they will never be
on the receiving end of such brutality.
White
people have a lot of unprocessed feelings about racism, their role in
it and the extent to which they’ve benefited from it, both in America
and here in Australia, where the bright sun on my pale skin is a
constant reminder to me that I am an alien on stolen land.
Those
unprocessed feelings will probably express themselves in angry
vituperative comments on this essay by white people who are afraid of
simply feeling their feelings and getting real with themselves,
because this is uncomfortable, confrontational stuff.
“Identity
politics!” is an objection I often get when I try to talk about
the reality of racial power dynamics in our society, probably because
I have a lot of readers who follow me because of my criticisms of the
Democratic Party which often cynically exploits race and racism to
advance political agendas.
But
this isn’t identity politics; it’s not about politics at all. This is
about healing, and being real with ourselves.
“Bah,
white guilt!” is another common objection. “You just want
us to feel guilty! How does white people feeling all guilty help fix
racism??”
They
always talk about guilt. Guilt, guilt, guilt, guilt, guilt. I never
brought guilt up, but that’s what they argue against. Which is of
course very telling.
Obviously
guilt in and of itself is not the objective here. Nobody’s claiming
that the world’s racial wounds would be healed if white people just
went around feeling guilty all the time; that’s a vapid strawman that
is advanced by white people who don’t want to viscerally grapple with
the reality of the advantages their whiteness brings them.
But
also, why such a fearful, defensive response to the possibility of
experiencing guilt?
Why
treat guilt like it’s made of molten lava? Guilt is just a feeling;
it won’t hurt you. You just feel it, listen to what it has to say,
and then once it’s been felt all the way through it subsides. There’s
no need to fear it, and it’s not legitimate to reject ideas on the
basis that they might cause you to experience it.
It’s
not about guilt, it’s about consciousness and curiosity.
Consciousness of the way racial power dynamics play out in our own
lives, and curiosity about the experience of other races in our
society.
White
people are averse to emotionally processing the reality of their
privilege for the same reason rich people aggressively insist they
worked hard for every penny they have even though they know they
received way more opportunities and advantages than the average
person ever sees. Life is hard and abrasive for everyone, even for
white people and even for rich people, so acknowledging you’ve
received a head start in some way over other people can be one more
thing in your mind telling you you’re deficient, in addition to your
father’s voice and your first love rejecting you and all the other
painful inadequacy stories you’ve got circling through your
consciousness.
White
privilege doesn’t mean white people don’t suffer or that some white
people don’t have it harder overall than some black people. All it
means is that having white skin is an advantage, and that all other
factors being equal a white person will have an easier time in our
society than a person of color. And that this is because our society
has been shaped by white supremacy for many generations, leaving many
remaining effects.
Healing
can’t happen without consciousness. Healing our society’s racial
wounds won’t happen as long as white people are compartmentalizing
away from the reality that our lives have been easier than they would
otherwise have been if we’d been born a different race, and that this
is because our ancestors killed, enslaved, exploited and oppressed
people who didn’t look like them for many generations before we got
here. That while we didn’t personally cause this dynamic, we are
interwoven into its tapestry and we have risen above others because
of it.
And
to be honest, if you really determine to get real with yourself and
make your white privilege conscious, you will
experience guilt at some point. It’s an inescapable part of the
journey if you’re being really sincere and getting really curious
about what life is like for people of different races in our society.
And that’s okay. Guilt is not dangerous; you just feel through it and
continue on your journey. It’s not the final destination in the
journey, but it’s a river that you will cross along the way.
There
are all sorts of conscious and unconscious ways that white people
defensively protect a racist system, even when they don’t think of
themselves as racist. You can witness these dynamics in a more overt
form by simply scrolling through the comments on any of the videos
linked here, full of white people arguing in various ways that this
isn’t the atrocious thing that people are making it out to be. (Hint:
if the only time you talk about racism is to yell at people that
something isn’t racist, then you’re protecting racism.) They can
happen in much subtler ways as well, throughout all aspects of our
life, and it’s only by making them conscious and feeling the feelings
that brings up until they are fully felt that these subconscious
white supremacy-supporting mental habits can be noticed and uprooted.
My
ancestors came to Australia as prisoners, and some almost certainly
would have played some role in the genocide against the people who’d
been living here for more than 65,000 years before them. And now I
live in a society that is dominated by whiteness, and I’ve benefited
from that. I’ve never had cause to fear for my life in the presence
of a police officer, in fact I’ve never hesitated to call them if
I’ve needed their help. I had an easy youth because my parents came
from the race that has been favored by generations of white
supremacist policies in Australia. Media I consumed growing up
consistently featured people who were the same color as me,
consistently feeding me through my formative years the message that I
can accomplish anything I want in life. I’ve gotten jobs because I
understand the subtleties of white culture enough to know how to
speak and dress for different interviews, and because I had many
white contacts (it’s not what you know, it’s who you know). There are
people who pay attention to my words today who wouldn’t give them as
much respect if they appeared next to a profile picture with dark
skin. There are many other advantages I’ve had that I can’t even know
about, since I’ve never lived a day in brown skin.
This
is a reality I need to feel into and make conscious if I’m to play my
part in our society’s healing of its racial woundedness. And yeah it
can bring up uncomfortable emotions. Being white is weird, man. If we
live in Australia or North America we’re acutely aware that we’re
disconnected from our ancestral roots, but if we go to visit Europe
that feels weird and not at all like home too. We walk through the
land surrounded by the ghosts of its previous inhabitants, aware that
they had a deep connection to it and that we do not. We’re always
reaching for culture because we sense intuitively that that’s
something people are meant to have, but everything we grasp fails to
satisfy in any meaningful way. We’re aware on some level that we have
it better than other races, but we also know that life has been cruel
and abrasive to us too, and we don’t know how to solve all the
problems which white supremacy has caused.
And
if we’re honest with ourselves, it brings up a lot of feels. And it’s
okay that it does. It’s good that it does. These feelings need to be
felt. Really diving down the rabbit hole of racism and our role in it
will move mountains inside you that you didn’t even know were there,
and there will be some deep, deep emotions underneath them which will
bring burning shame, and big tears. Those tears need to come out
though. They’re what’s standing between you and true healing.
And
when you have processed through that journey, you will no longer have
in you the defensiveness about your own white privilege, and any
parts of you which were unconsciously defending and protecting white
supremacy in that way will have been purged from your system. And you
will be in that respect a much more real and authentic human being,
with a much more real and authentic relationship with the world. And
the world will feel much more like home to you.

haar platform zou verwijderen. Sterker nog: hij ging zelfs zover om toe te geven
dat Facebook door de Russen werd gebruikt om de verkiezingen van 2016 in de VS
te manipuleren, dit middels zielige advertenties die wat betreft de financiële waarde totaal
in het niet vielen bij de enorme bedragen waarmee bedrijven en de
superwelgestelden hun presidentskandidaat ‘pluggen…..’
Alsof
een aantal advertenties voor borsjt en wodka de VS burgers zover hebben kunnen krijgen dat ze op Trump stemden, terwijl ze dagelijks
een hele berg stront geserveerd kregen waarmee de één dan wal de
ander werd besmeurd als totaal onkundig voor het ambt van
president…… En zie wat daarvan is gekomen: een psychopathische
seksist en moordenaar met ronduit fascistische uitingen als president
van het machtigste land op aarde, de VS….
Deze
president die vooral regeert via Twitter was de klos toen men zijn
Twitterberichten op waarheid ging controleren en concludeerde dat er
geen barst van een paar van zijn berichten klopten en daarbij een waarschuwing plaatsten met links naar berichten uit de media…… Trump beweerde dat stemmen per post fruade in de hand werkt, terwijl daar nooit enig bewijs voor werd geleverd….. Nee, Trump
heeft geen zin om alsnog zijn achterlijke uitlatingen te verdedigen
als wel waarheidsgetrouw (wat hij niet kan, maar hij had minstens een
poging kunnen doen…) Trump kiest ‘de strategie’ die bekend staat
als: ‘de aanval is de beste verdediging…..’ Als hij wel had
geprobeerd zichzelf te verdedigen was hij uiteraard zwaar door de
mand gevallen, immers wat krom is kan je niet recht lullen, zelfs
Trump niet en dat nog niet met duizend liter ontsmettingsmiddel, al dan
niet geïnjecteerd……..
De
Republikeinen die al lang stellen dat de sociale media vooral door
‘links’ worden misbruikt om hun partij onderuit te
halen, wilden al langer nieuwe regels voor die media…. Weet niet
hoe het hier zit, maar in de VS worden platforms als Twitter en
Facebook niet gezien als publicisten, maar als een platform waar
anderen berichten en andere zaken publiceren. Aan dat laatste wil
Trump nu een eind maken, zodat deze platforms zich moeten gedragen
als de eerste beste nieuwszender of krant en verantwoordelijk zijn
voor wat er wordt gepubliceerd…. Wellicht denk je: wat is daarop
tegen? Welnu meer dan genoeg, zo zullen deze platforms worden
gedwongen om berichten van hun platform te halen als deze in strijd
zijn met de belangen van de Republikeinse Partij*, of als zij
schadelijk zijn voor (grote) bedrijven……
Natuurlijk
hebben platforms als Twitter niet de kans om berichten dusdanig te
brengen dat ze geen bewijs zijn voor een partij als die van de
Republikeinen voor het herroepen wat men heeft geschreven, immers
Twitter maakt die berichten niet….. Met andere woorden, gebruikers van platforms als Facebook en Twitter kunnen een grote golf censuur verwachten, daar de enige
mogelijkheid die overblijft om vervolging te voorkomen zal bestaan uit het eenvoudigweg verwijderen van berichten…….
Het is
nu al zo dat Twitter haar gebruikers waarschuwt voor berichten die
aangeven waar het aan ontbreekt in de politiek, dan wel berichten
waar politici aan de paal worden genageld voor onbeschofte
voorstellen en bijvoorbeeld voor het zaaien van haat….. Zag
gisteren op Twitter een waarschuwing voor een
account van ‘Lieve Linkse’: ‘Caution:
This profile may include potentially sensitive content. You’re
seeing this warning because they Tweet potentially sensitive images
or language. Do you still want to view it?’
Ongelofelijk, zeker als je ziet wat Lieve
Linkse @LieveLinkse op Twitter zet, wat mij betreft redelijk
gematigde kritiek, maar wel volkomen terechte kritiek!!
Je
kan er de klok op gelijkzetten dat men ook in andere westerse landen
naar mogelijkheden zal gaan zoeken, om niet welgevallige informatie
in het geheel te blokkeren op platforms als Facebook en Twitter,
terwijl men regelrechte geschiedvervalsing als een normaal gegeven ziet,
als het maar in het voordeel is van de gevestigde neoliberale
orde….. Over geschiedvervalsing gesproken: hoe is het mogelijk dat Facebook op verzoek berichten over mensen verwijdert, mensen die of e.e.a op hun kerfstok hebben, dan wel politici of anderen die ‘met pensioen zijn’, te gek voor woorden!!
Overigens hebben zowel Twitter als Facebook accounts op hun platform gesloten vanwege het brengen van zogenaamd nepnieuws, ofwel nieuws dat ingaat tegen wat de reguliere (massa-) media brengen…… Dit terwijl juist deze media een enorme berg nepnieuws en zonder meer leugens hebben mogen publiceren op deze platforms, neem de leugens in aanloop van- en tijdens de illegale oorlogen die de VS alleen deze eeuw al is begonnen….
Het
volgende bericht komt van Zero Hedge, dat overigens in rap tempo
verandert in een rechts medium, waar men zelfs ronduit fascistische
en racistische kritiek toestaat, zoals onder het bericht over de
rellen in Minneapolis n.a.v. van de zoveelste politiemoord op
de gekleurde George Floyd, overigens een bericht dat vol stond met alles wat de zwaar gefrustreerde gekleurde burgers aan schade hebben aangericht in Minneapolis, zonder de reden daarvoor te noemen: alle politiemoorden op gekleurde burgers in de laatste 20 jaar, zoveel dat bij elke moord op een gekleurde de vlam in de pan slaat (dat was en is te verwachten na elke politiemoord op een gekleurd mens….)…..

To Sign Social Media Executive Order On Thursday After ‘Fact-Check’,
Political Bias Exposed
Update (1830ET):
Following up on earlier threats, a White House spokesperson has
confirmed that President Trump will sign an executive order on Social
Media tomorrow.
Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany
made the remark to reporters aboard Air Force One, traveling with
Trump to Washington from Florida.
There are no details of
what the order will contain,
however, Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) said today that he is working with
Republican members of the House Judiciary Committee to craft
legislation that would strip social media giants of their Section 230
legal immunity if they fact check content on their platforms, according
to a copy of his podcast which Breitbart News exclusively obtained.

Gaetz said:
A lot of people don’t
see that Facebook and Twitter … you see Twitter disadvantaging the
president, they enjoy liability protections that are not enjoyed by
your local newspaper or your local TV station, or Fox News, or CNN,
or MSNBC. They have
special benefits under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act
as digital platforms because they’re not creating content for which
they should be liable. They’re
not making decisions about content, they’re simply saying come one,
come all with your content. And as a consequence of that, they’re
getting a bunch of protections.
And
as Breitbart concludes,noting
that the social media companies have become increasingly biased
against conservatives, Gaetz questioned whether social media
companies deserve to keep their Section 230 immunity.
All of which raises a serious
question about the future of these social media giants under a more
“media-esque” regulatory framework and points to an obvious
line of attack in any executive order that President Trump could be
considering.

Bongino tweeted a quasi-confirmation of this angle for the
executive order:
“Twitter
made a HUGE mistake.
They have now injected themselves into a US election and decided to
become editorialists, rather than a platform. ALL
platform protections should be immediately revoked and Twitter should
be treated as a publisher.
They did this to themselves.”

Last night, President Trump slammed Twitter for tagging several of
his tweets touting the alleged risks of mail-in ballots as
‘misinformation’, with the president accusing the social media giant
of interfering
in the 2020 election.

On Wednesday morning, Trump issued
a couple more tweets claiming the federal government will “strongly
regulate, or close them down” – referring to social media
companies who suppress conservative voices in the name of protecting
“the truth” (ie the progressive narrative that Silicon
Valley tech giants have promised to perpetuate).
He also linked his accusations of
bias with his opposition to mail-in ballots.
“We saw what they attempted to
do, and failed, in 2016. We can’t let a more sophisticated version of
that happen again. Just like we can’t let large scale Mail-In ballots
take root in our Country,” Trump said in a series of tweets.
Republicans feel that Social Media Platforms totally silence conservatives voices. We will strongly regulate, or close them down, before we can ever allow this to happen. We saw what they attempted to do, and failed, in 2016. We can’t let a more sophisticated version of that….

Shortly after Twitter announced it
would start “fact-checking” President Trump’s tweets, yet
more evidence has been exposed of the blatant
anti-Trump bias at the most senior levels of the social media giant.
In the past we have seen
Project Veritas expose the ‘fact’ behind the so-called
‘conspiracy theory’ of shadow-banning
for conservative voices on Twitter.
A former Twitter software
engineer who explains how/why Twitter “shadow bans”
certain users:
Abhinav
Vadrevu: “One strategy is
to shadow ban so you have ultimate control. The idea of a shadow ban
is that you ban someone but they don’t know they’ve been banned,
because they keep posting but no one sees their content.”
“So they just think
that no one is engaging with their content, when in reality, no one
is seeing it. I don’t know if Twitter does this anymore.”
Meanwhile, Olinda
Hassan, a Policy Manager for Twitter’s Trust and Safety team explains on
December 15th, 2017 at a Twitter holiday party that the development
of a system of “down ranking” “shitty people” is in the
works:

something we’re working on. It’s something we’re working on. We’re trying to get
the shitty people to not show up. It’s a product thing we’re
working on right now.”

And now, as
Jonathan Turley details below, the
latest controversy concerns the person who has said that he is in
charge of “developing and enforcing Twitter’s rules,” Twitter’s
“Head of Site Integrity” Yoel Roth.
Critics have highlighted fairly extreme postings from Roth
calling Trump and his supporters Nazis. I do not agree that the
problem is Roth’s personal views or postings. The problem is his
role and the rules at Twitter.
Roth has attacked Bernie
Sanders supporters and proclaimed how he is working against Trump.
He compared senior Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway to Nazi
propagandist Joseph Goebbels. He has referred to
Trump and his team as “ACTUAL NAZIS” and called Senate
Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., a “personality-free bag of
farts.” As
Fox noted, “last August, Twitter suspended McConnell’s
Twitter account, prompting the GOP to threaten to
cut off advertising on the site until Twitter relented.”
The attacks are numerous,
raw, and offensive. However,
conservatives calling for him to be fired or his tweets censored are
reaching the wrong conclusion.
The problem is not Roth but
his role. He has a right to express himself.
I have no problem with Twitter hiring people with such political
views and I believe it is a good thing for people to express
themselves on social media. Indeed, we have discussed the free
speech concerns as private and public employers punish workers for
their statements or actions in their private lives. We have
addressed an array of such incidents, including social
media controversies involving academics. In some cases, racially
charged comments have been treated
as free speech while in others they have resulted in
discipline or termination. It is that lack of a consistent standard
that has magnified free speech concerns. We have previously
discussed the issue of when it is appropriate to punishment
people for conduct outside of the work place. We have followed cases
where people have been fired after boorish or insulting conduct once
their names and employers are made known.

Roth’s comments highlight
how bias is always a concern for those who take it upon themselves to
decide who can speak or who must be “corrected” in communications
with others. Twitter
is notorious for a lack of consistency and coherence in the
enforcement of its rules. However, regardless of such
enforcement, there remains a core free speech issue in the regulation
of speech. I recently
criticized the calls of Democratic leaders like House Intelligence
Committee Chairman Adam Schiff for greater censorship of the
Internet and social media. Such calls have been growing for years but
leaders like Schiff are citing the pandemic as a basis for speech
monitoring and censorship. Roth
is merely the personification of the problem of such speech
regulation. Again, the real problem is his role and Twitter’s
rules.
As Summit
News’ Paul Joseph Watson notes, Roth has been head of site
integrity at Twitter since July 2018 and is responsible for “election
security” and “misinformation,”meaning he
almost certainly played a key role in the decision to ‘fact-check’
Trump’s tweets.
In the meantime, We await Twitter
‘fact-checking’ false claims about ‘Russian collusion’ or any
other of the erroneous issues pushed by the blue check mark brigade
that have proven to be spectacularly wrong.
