De ‘liefde’ van de Trump administratie voor Israël, een fascistische apartheidsstaat en de moord op alweer een Iraanse atoomgeleerde

De
geschenken die de Trump administratie de laatste weken aan Israel
heeft gegeven, hebben niets te maken met hoe de buitenlandpolitiek
van de VS zou moeten zijn: deze zou de nationale en internationale
belangen van de VS moeten reflecteren, aldus Philip Giraldi die
hierover een artikel schreef dat werd gepubliceerd op The Unz
Review en dat ik overnam van Information Clearing House.

Giraldi
vervolgt met te zeggen dat het tegendeel waar is, het
buitenlandbeleid van de Trump administratie t.a.v. Israël en de rest
van de wereld geeft aan dat de VS een schurkenstaat is (rogue
nation), die wordt geleid door iemand die duidelijk geestelijk ziek
is en die door Israël bij de hand wordt genomen……. Trump die aanzienlijke
schade heeft veroorzaakt aan het vermogen van de VS om de wereld te
leiden op belangrijke onderwerpen als de verspreiding van nucleaire
wapens en de klimaatverandering, aldus Giraldi……..

Hier
moet ik opmerken dat dit bepaald niet alleen aan Trump is te danken,
het maakt dan ook niet uit wie in het Witte Huis zit, of het nu
Republikeinen dan wel Democraten zijn, Israël blijft gezien worden
als een land dat de volledige steun van de VS krijgt, wat dit land
ook flikt tegen Palestijnen, of het nu de Great Return March is dan
wel de zoveelste Intifada, waarbij Israël ongewapende burgers op
grote schaal vermoordt, geen kritiek uit de VS, sterker nog: als
iemand het in z’n hoofd haalt om dit te bespreken in de VN
Veiligheidsraad, spreekt de VS daar haar veto over uit……… 

Wat betreft het klimaat moet niet vergeten worden dat ook Obama oliemaatschappijen toestond om bijvoorbeeld gevaarlijke diepzeeboringen te verrichten in het Arctisch gebied, pas tegen het eind van zijn tweede termijn heeft hij daar een streep door gezet, het is dat de olieprijs daar te laag voor was en is, anders had men daar al lang booreilanden of -schepen gehad…….

Aangaande de nucleaire proliferatie hoeven we ook helemaal niets te
verwachten van de VS behalve dan als het gaat om Iran of Noord-Korea,
terwijl de VS ervoor heeft gezorgd dat Israël en Pakistan kernwapens
hebben…… Nu zou de VS de reli-fascistische terreurstaat
Saoedi-Arabië helpen bij het ontwikkelen van een kernwapen, een
staat die een groot aantal terreurorganisaties steunt, zowel
financieel als met wapens en zelf een genocide uitvoert in buurland Jemen, waarbij intussen al meer dan 500.000 mensen bij om zijn gekomen (waaronder 100.000 kinderen….)….

Kortom
dat Trump een duidelijke psychopaat is en mede daardoor als
krankzinnig kan worden gezien, zegt niets over het buitenlandbeleid
van de VS, voorlopig is Trump in de bijna 4 jaar dat hij aan de macht
is, geen oorlog begonnen. Vergelijk dat eens met zijn voorganger,
Nobelprijs voor de Vrede winnaar Obama, die er minstens 2 startte,
die in Libië en Syrië en verantwoordelijk is voor minstens 2 andere
oorlogen, zoals die tegen de burgers in Oost-Oekraïne…… (wat
niet wegneemt dat ook Trump, als Obama een oorlogsmisdadiger is, die
terecht zou moeten staan voor het Internationaal Strafhof [ICC]) 

Het zal onder Biden wat e.e.a. betreft alleen maar slechter worden daar Biden de Trump administraite meermaals slapheid heeft verweten in het optreden tegen landen als Venezuela en Iran….. (in Venezuela zijn door VS sancties al meer dan 50.000 mensen omgekomen en het is wel zeker dat ook de waanzinnige sancties tegen Iran al een enorm aantal slachtoffers heeft geëist, als je dat ‘slap’ noemt, kan dit alleen maar betekenen dat Biden oorlog met deze landen niet uit de weg zal gaan…..)

Pompeo,
de minister van buitenlandse zaken van de VS, heeft extra sancties
ingesteld tegen Iran waarbij hij ook opschepte over de al bestaande
sancties tegen dat land, sancties die de economie slopen en de
nationale munt doet devalueren…. Trump haalde voorts aan dat Iran
eerder 2,5 miljoen vaten olie exporteerde, terwijl ze nu moeite
hebben om zelfs maar een kwart van dat aantal te exporteren (en
de olieprijs ongelofelijk is gekelderd)…..

Pompeo
was onlangs in Israël, waar hij o.a. een illegale nederzetting op de
West Bank bezocht en waar hij op een andere plek op die West Bank
blij verrast was dat men een wijn naar hem had vernoemd, wijn van druiven die worden geteeld op gestolen land van de Palestijnen, land dat volgens Giraldi in handen zou zijn van rijke Joden in Californië….. Daarmee gaf Pompeo aan dat de
VS geen probleem meer heeft met de illegale nederzettingen op de West
Bank (waar intussen 700.000 Joden wonen…), sterker nog: dat deze
nederzettingen geen obstakel zijn voor ‘vredesonderhandelingen’ met
de Palestijnen. Er is in feite geen sprake van onderhandelingen,
immers Israël legt de Palestijnen op wat men wel en niet mag doen,
uiteraard alles in het nadeel van de Palestijnen, waar de corrupte
leider van de Palestijnse Autoriteit (PA), Mahmoud Abbas ook bekend als
Abu Mazen, zich schikt naar de wensen van Israël en zelfs zijn
‘politie’ laat samenwerken met de bezettingsmacht van Israël
(onlangs zijn die banden weer hersteld door Abbas…)

De Trump
administratie is wel verder gegaan in dit soort smerige streken dan
eerdere administraties, neem de verplaatsing van de VS ambassade naar
Jeruzalem en het erkennen ‘dat Jeruzalem de hoofdstad is van
Israël……’

Niet
vreemd dus dat Pompeo met zijn ‘realiteitspolitiek’ heeft gesteld dat
producten van de illegale nederzettingen in het vervolg in de VS het
predicaat krijgen dat ze in Israël zijn geproduceerd….. Daarmee
heeft Pompeo in feite gesteld dat de VS de door Israël bezette
gebieden als Israëlische grondgebied ziet….. Weet je nog dat
Netanyahu al voor de zomer voorstelde om de West Bank in haar geheel
te annexeren? Welnu ondanks dat Netanyahu dit niet heeft doorgezet,
heeft Pompeo hem een carte blanche gegeven om dit alsnog te
doen……

De
liefde voor Israël gaat zover dat Trump de geweldloze actiegroep
global
discriminatory boycott, divestment, and sanctions campagne (Global
BDS Campaign), aangeduid als BDS, een kanker noemde (een duidelijk
fascistische aanduiding) en als antisemitisch neerzette…. Intussen
heeft de VS aangegeven van zins te zijn BDS op de lijst van
terreurorganisaties te zetten, waarbij wordt opgemerkt dat elke groep
die een boycot van Israëlische producten bepleit, te maken zal
krijgen met represailles…. In Frankrijk is het al zo zot dat elke
oproep tot een boycot van Israëlische producten is verboden……

Lees
het artikel van Giraldi die veel dieper op deze zaken ingaat (ook al
is hij een paar zaken vergeten), waarbij hij ook de inzet noemt van
de VS om verdragen te sluiten tussen arabische staten en Israël en
zegt het voort!! Het is de hoogste tijd dat de wereld inziet dat met
het ontzien van Israël, dat zich schuldig maakt aan grootschalige
terreur, er geen vrede zal zijn in het Midden-Oosten, immers elke
aanval van Israël tegen bijvoorbeeld Syrië wordt gedekt en
verdedigt door de VS….. 

Het artikel van Giraldi is van voor de aanslag op Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, een
Iraanse atoomgeleerde, die vrijwel zeker door de Mossad (geheime
dienst van Israël) werd uitgevoerd, dit nadat de VS eerder dit jaar de
Iraanse generaal Qassem Soleimani heeft vermoord op een
vliegveld van Bagdad……. Het is dan ook een schande dat Nederland
weer troepen stuurt naar Irak, terwijl de regering en het overgrote
deel van het volk van Irak, de VS en alle andere buitenlandse troepen
het land uit wil hebben….. Het is duidelijk dat de VS aanwezig
blijft in Irak en Syrië t.b.v. Israël en de strijd tegen Iran, ook
al heeft Iran nooit de VS of Israël aangevallen, terwijl Iran raketten heeft die met gemak elke stad in Israel deels plat kunnen leggen……….. 

Ook nu weer hoor je op de nationale radiozenders van Nederland, Duitsland, België en Groot-Brittannië zeggen dat Israël wil voorkomen dat het met een kernwapen zal worden aangevallen door Israël, dit ter verdediging van deze laffe moordaanslag, terwijl Iran zelfs nooit een aanval heeft uitgevoerd op Israel met een ‘gewone raket…..’ Dat laatste melden die radiostations natuurlijk niet, nee in feite stelt men zich met de berichtgeving achter Israël, terwijl dat nu juist een land is dat bija ongestoord Irak, Syrie en Iran heeft aangevallen en blijft aanvallen (onder dekking van de VS), het laatste land ook nog eens door enregiecentrales aan te vallen……

Overigens moet niet uitgesloten worden dat de CIA de aanslag op Fakhrizadeh heeft gepleegd, dit daar de CIA al jaren werkzaam is in Iran, zoals deze terreurorganisatie vorig jaar heeft toegegeven (wat iedereen had kunnen weten die een beetje onderzoek heeft gedaan) en daar bijvoorbeeld demonstraties tegen de regering organiseert en de gewelddadige oppostitie steunt met geld, wapens, explosieven en advies…….. Ach ja, de VS de grootste terreurentiteit ter wereld en dat land durft Iran te beschuldigen van het destabiliseren van het Midden-Oosten, terwijl de VS met haar illegale oorlogen in dat deel van de wereld, plus die in Afghanistan en Libië deze eeuw al meer dan 2,5 miljoen mensen heeft vermoord, dit met hulp van andere NAVO-lidstaten, waaronder Nederland….. (deze illegale oorlogen hebben enorme stromen vluchtelingen op gang gebracht en hebben verder terreur aanslagen uitgelokt op de straten van Europa, hoewel die qua slachtoffers niet eens in de schaduw kunnen staan van de enorme hoeveelheid vermoorde mensen door de grootschalige westerse terreur in islamitische landen…….)

Netanyahu’s
every wish is granted

–  President Donald Trump’s gifts to Israel in the last few
weeks of his administration are, quite frankly, incomprehensible
based on any consideration that U.S. foreign policy should be
reflective of American national and international interests. On the
contrary, the nearly worldwide assessment of the United States as a
completely rogue nation headed by someone who is quite plausibly
insane and led by the nose by Israel has done considerable damage to
America’s ability to lead on important issues like nuclear
proliferation and climate change.

Much
of the bad decision making by Trump is derived from his having bought
into the Israeli view of Iran, which, in reality, does not threaten
Americans or U.S. interests. On his recent visit to Israel, Secretary
of State Mike Pompeo added
new sanctions against Iran while also releasing
a State Department statement defending Trump’s “maximum
pressure” against the Islamic Republic. He boasted about the damage
being done to the Iranian economy: “The Maximum Pressure campaign
against the Iranian regime continues to be extraordinarily effective.
Today, Iran’s economy faces a currency crisis, mounting public
debt, and rising inflation. Prior to the Maximum Pressure campaign,
Iran was exporting nearly 2.5 million barrels of oil per day. Now it
struggles to export even a quarter of that volume.”

Hostility
towards Iran also means continuing a military presence in Syria, an
Iranian ally, as well as in Iraq, which has a largely Shi’a
government that is friendly to Iran. Whatever troop withdrawals Trump
is envisioning between now and the time he leaves office will
certainly not include Syria and he will surely be leaving a
considerable presence in Iraq, deferring to Israeli interests.

Trump
and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo have doubled down on pleasing
Israel even though Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was
quick off the mark in acknowledging that Joe Biden had indeed won the
presidential election. Netanyahu was able to do so because he knows
that his influence over the White House is matched by his ability to
get favors from both major parties in the U.S. Congress. And if all
else were to fail, unlikely as that is, the Israeli leadership is
confident that it can make the American media dance to its tune. In
other words, no matter what Netanyahu does vis-a-vis the U.S.
election, Israel would find itself well positioned to manipulate
America’s foreign policy to favor its own interests.

Pompeo’s
latest and just concluded trip to the Middle East involved the usual
stops in Israel to be given his marching orders but he also was
bearing gifts. His visit was clearly intended to deliver the message
that as far as the Trump Administration is concerned Israel can do
whatever it wants relating to the Palestinian West Bank, which is now
home to 700,000 illegal settlers. Pompeo accomplished that part of
his mission in two ways. First, he
visited both the annexed Golan Heights as well as an illegal
Israeli settlement at Qasr el Yahud on the Jordan River. He also
stopped at a winery located on land blatantly stolen from
Palestinians, whose Florida based Jewish “owners” had previously
named a wine in his honor. It was the first time that an American
Secretary of State had visited a settlement, and it was a signal that
Washington no longer regards the exclusively Jewish enclaves as an
obstacle to peace and no longer considers them illegal.

Second,
Pompeo, while in Israel last Thursday, made two significant
statements regarding U.S. policies on Israel and the Palestinian
territories, revealing stronger support for Israel’s presence in
the West Bank. He
said that as a result of the State Department taking a
“reality-based foreign policy approach,” products exported to the
U.S. from the illegally occupied territory shall be marked as
Israeli.

He
elaborated “In accordance with this announcement, all producers
within areas where Israel exercises the relevant authorities –
most notably Area C under the Oslo Accords - will be required
to mark goods as ‘Israel’, ’Product of Israel’, or
‘Made in Israel’ when exporting to the United States.” In
other words, the United States is now endorsing the reality that much
of the formerly Palestinian West Bank – Area C comprises 60% of it
– is now both de
facto
and de
jure
part of Israel.

The
move was immediately
denounced by former Palestinian Chief Negotiator Hanan Ashrawi as
“…an attempt to legitimize the theft of Palestinian land and
plunder of Palestinian resources that runs counter fundamental
principles of international law and the global consensus.” And so
it is, but it was followed by a second statement which no doubt
pleased the Israelis but which should concern all Americans who are
troubled about the dramatic erosion of free speech in the United
States.

Pompeo,
standing next to Netahyahu, said the Boycott, Divestment and
Sanctions (BDS) movement was “a cancer” and anti-Semitic, adding
the U.S. would work to stop its funding. Netanyahu called the move
“wonderful.” Formed in 2005, BDS is non-violent. It is active in
many countries around the world and calls for a total boycott of
Israel, including cultural, economic and academic activities, over
the brutal Israeli repression of the Palestinian people.

Pompeo
personally pledged the U.S. government decision to “…immediately
take steps to identify organizations that engage in hateful BDS
conduct and withdraw U.S. government support for such groups. We want
to stand with all other nations that recognize the BDS movement for
the cancer that it is.”

An
accompanying State Department press
statement issued by Pompeo elaborated that “It is the policy of
the United States to combat anti-Semitism everywhere in the world and
in whatever form it appears, including all forms of discrimination
and hatred rooted in anti-Semitism. The United States strongly
opposes the global discriminatory boycott, divestment, and sanctions
(BDS) campaign (Global BDS Campaign) and practices that facilitate
it, such as discriminatory labeling and the publication of databases
of companies that operate in Israel or Israeli-controlled areas. As
we have made clear, anti-Zionism is anti-Semitism. The United States
is, therefore, committed to countering the Global BDS Campaign as a
manifestation of anti-Semitism. To advance this policy, I have
directed the Office of the Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat
Anti-Semitism to identify organizations that engage in, or otherwise
support, the Global BDS Campaign. In identifying such organizations,
the Office of the Special Envoy will consider whether an organization
is engaged in actions that are politically motivated and are intended
to penalize, or otherwise limit, commercial relations specifically
with Israel or persons doing business in Israel or in any territory
controlled by Israel.”

The
Pompeo statement is a declaration of war against a non-violent group
that seeks to bring about change through peaceful means. Many U.S.
states have already taken steps to punish BDS and its supporters and
there is legislation in Congress that will make it guilty of hate
speech as well as anti-Semitism due to its criticism of the Jewish
state. The legislation includes substantial fines and prison time. In
France, for example, it is already
illegal to advocate a boycott of Israel.

While
Pompeo was in Israel, lest there be any doubt about the Trump
Administration’s love for the Jewish state, the president himself,
speaking from Washington, announced that Sudan would
be establishing diplomatic relations with Jerusalem. He added
that many more countries would be doing likewise in the next two
months. That Sudan made its decision under intense American pressure
and due to suffocating sanctions imposed by Washington was not
mentioned by President Trump.

Trump
also responded favorably to another request from Netanyahu. Last
Friday his Justice Department blocked any extension of the travel
limitations imposed by the terms of the parole of convicted Israeli
spy Jonathan Pollard. The move came over the objections of many
in intelligence and national security communities, but was intended
to please Israel. Pollard, a former Navy intelligence analyst, is now
free from any travel restrictions and will move to Israel, where he
is regarded as a hero and has been granted citizenship in
absentia.
He was the most damaging spy in U.S. history, having revealed top
secret information on U.S. intelligence sources and communications,
some of which was passed on to the Soviet Union by Israel in exchange
for allowing the emigration of Russian Jews.

It
is being argued that both Trump and Pompeo have ulterior motives for
expressing their warm feelings towards Israel and all its works.
Pompeo would like to be the GOP presidential candidate in 2024 and
Trump would like to retain his control over the party. Either would
benefit from the powerful support of the Israel Lobby in the United
States and through solidifying their positions as being among the
greatest friends of the Jewish state. The tragedy is that what
benefits two more politicians on the make has absolutely nothing in
it for the American people. And from Joe “I’m a Zionist” Biden
we certainly can expect more of the same, both because the outgoing
Trumpsters are creating a web of complications around what is taking
place both with Iran and Israel that will be difficult to unravel and
because the new president would fear taking any steps not approved by
Netanyahu.

Nederland stuurt troepen naar Irak, zeer tegen de zin van de bevolking

Alsof er in 2019 en dit jaar geen enorme demonstraties plaats hebben gevonden in Irak, waar de eis werd gesteld dat de buitenlandse troepen Irak moeten verlaten, demonstraties waarbij een fiks aantal doden vielen, wil Rutte 3 weer troepen sturen naar dit door de illegale oorlog van de VS, met hulp van een aantal NAVO-partners (waaronder Nederland), vernietigde land…….

Volgens de reguliere westerse media, ook de zogenaamd onafhankelijke NOS, worden die protesten geleid door pro-Iraanse krachten, een leugen van formaat!! Het overgrote deel van Irak is sjiitisch en daar wringt de schoen, de redacties denken met een simpele optelsom te kunnen concluderen dat de protesten alleen plaatsvinden doordat pro-Iraanse demonstranten daar achter zouden staan, dit daar Iran voor het overgrote deel ook sjiitisch is en blijkbaar is dat genoeg om de demonstraties in de schoenen van Iran te schuiven…… Zoals diezelfde media de leugen dat Irak massavernietigingswapens had, hebben herhaald tot het oneindige, terwijl VN wapeninspecteur Blix de media en politiek uit en te na heeft gewaarschuwd dat Irak die wapens niet had….. Op basis van dat ‘fake news’ (nepnieuws) begon de VS met hulp van andere NAVO-partners de oorlog tegen Irak…… 

Terwijl het voorgaande al jaren bekend is, hebben die media nooit hun excuus aangeboden voor die leugens, nee men heeft met geen letter dit fake news gerectificeerd…… Sterker nog dezelfde media verdedigen nog steeds deze agressie oorlog die naar schatting aan meer dan 2 miljoen Irakezen het leven heeft gekost…….

Uiteraard deed en  doet ook de grote VVD zakkenwasser Blok mee aan deze leugen en hij is dan ook groot voorstander om Nederlandse troepen naar Irak te sturen, een land waar Nederland, niets, maar dan ook helemaal niets te zoeken had en heeft…… Vergeet niet dat Nederland heeft meegedaan aan de zeer illegale oorlog tegen Irak, waarvoor CDA oplichter de Hoop Scheffer beloond werd met de benoeming tot secretaris-generaal van de NAVO, een functie die hij zo slecht uitvoerde dat de VS, de werkelijke baas van de NAVO, hem niet langer dan 1 termijn gunde…….

Weer gaat Nederland levens en een gigantische bak belastinggeld stoppen in een oorlog die niet is te winnen, of men moet een nieuwe dictator als Hoessein parachuteren….. Beiden zeer tegen de zin van de grote meerderheid van de Iraakse bevolking……. Het is al te gek voor woorden dat VVD hufter Hennis-Plasschaert speciaal gezant is voor de VN in Irak, immers hoe kan je iemand zo’n taak geven die in feite een fiks aantal Iraakse doden op haar naam heeft staan, me dunkt een immense schoffering van het Iraakse volk!!

Over schoffering gesproken, daar is Nederland extreem goed in, zo ook de keus om weer militairen naar Irak te sturen……. Schaamteloos!!!

Deep State een complottheorie van gekkies? Lees dit!!

Deep
State, een geheim machtsnetwerk dat onafhankelijk van de politiek
werkelijk aan de touwtjes trekt, zou een complottheorie van gekkies
zijn, zo laten de reguliere westerse media en politici keer op keer
weten, je weet wel dezelfde media en politiek die de illegale
oorlogen van de VS gebaseerd op leugens van meet af aan hebben gesteund…….
Deze media en politiek houden nog steeds vol dat deze oorlogen
gerechtvaardigd waren en dat nog zijn, ook al zal het een ieder die
een beetje moeite neemt duidelijk zijn dat het tegendeel waar
is……. 

Die illegale oorlogen (niet op basis van een VN resolutie) werden aangegaan door de VS met hulp van haar
NAVO-partners en zoals gezegd met een rechtvaardiging gebaseerd op
smerige leugens, neem de illegale oorlog tegen Irak die in 2003 begon
en in feite nog voortduurt met een dodental van over de 2
miljoen, zou gerechtvaardigd zijn door massavernietigingswapens, die het land niet in het bezit kon hebben, zoals VN wapeninspecteur Blix tot vervelens liet weten al voordat de VS deze illegale oorlog begon en inderdaad deze wapens werden niet gevonden…… (geen westers mediaorgaan als de grote kranten die achter deze oorlog stonden en de leugens bleven herhalen, hebben achteraf een rectificatie geplaatst, integendeel men bleef zoals gezegd deze oorlogen steunen en dat tot de dag van vandaag….)

Een
vertegenwoordiger van Deep State, James Jeffrey, vertrekkend speciaal
gezant voor de VS in Syrië, gaf in een interview op ‘Defense One’
toe dat VS beambten een spelletje hebben gespeeld wat betreft het aantal
militairen in Syrië en wel zo dat de Trump administratie geen idee
heeft hoeveel troepen er in Syrië zijn….. Ho, iets te snel door de
bocht, volgens die administratie zijn er nog 200 militairen in Syrië,
maar het werkelijke aantal is minstens 900 en waarschijnlijk zelfs
meer dan dat aantal, echter e.e.a. is geheim en wordt niet
geopenbaard, zelfs niet aan de ‘regering Trump……’ Al moet gezegd worden dat Trump het Pentagon carte blanche gaf om naar eigen inzicht troepen in te zetten……..

Jeffrey stelt verder dat er geen sprake was van een terugtrekking van troepen uit Syrië door de Trump administratie, dat wilde Trump wel, maar men heeft hem een paar keer kunnen overtuigen dit vooral niet te doen…… (en reken maar dat de wapenindustrie en de geheime diensten daar een rol in hebben gespeeld……)

Overigens het feit dat er veel meer militairen zijn in Syrië dan de Trump administratie weet is verder niet zo
vreemd als je bedenkt dat de VS het belangrijkste olieveld van Syrië
onder controle heeft, daar heb je wel wat meer dan 200 militairen
voor nodig, al moet niet vergeten worden dat de VS in datzelfde
gebied terreurgroepen beschermt, waaronder een groot aantal ISIS terroristen……. Moet je nagaan: de reden die de VS gaf om haar troepen in Syrië te houden was om te voorkomen dat ISIS weer aan macht zou kunnen winnen……

In het
hieronder opgenomen artikel van Caitlin Johnstone stelt zij dat het
niet de eerste keer is dat een beambte van buitenlandse zaken
toegeeft dat zaken anders zijn dan men denkt, zo werd eerder dit jaar
toegegeven dat de VS in Syrië blijft om een moeras voor de Russen
(en Iraniërs) te creëren, een moeras waarin ze moeten
verdrinken……. Echter vergeet niet dat de VS nu de inkomsten uit
het door haar illegaal bezette olieveld inpikt; waar Trump eerder al
een paar keer liet weten dat de VS niet voor niets (illegaal) oorlog
voert, ofwel het slachtofferland, in dit geval Syrië, moet betalen
voor de terreur die de VS heeft uitgestort over haar volk en
land……. Hoe smerig wil je het hebben???

Het is een gotspe dat het wat betreft het buitenlandbeleid van de VS niet uitmaakt wie president is, daar degenen die dat agressieve beleid propageren dezelfde partijen zijn die achter de schermen werkelijk uitmaken wat er op dat gebied gebeurt….. Dit geldt overigens ook voor het regeringsbeleid in de VS zelf, er zijn amper veranderingen te zien of er nu een Republikein dan wel een Democraat in het Witte Huis zit: de macht van de financiële sector, de farmaceuten, de wapenfabrikanten en het andere grote bedrijfsleven (waaronder bijvoorbeeld de grote landbouw, inclusief de veeteelt) maken uit waar het grote geld naartoe gaat…….. Een macht die ze bij elke verkiezing weer veiligstellen door enorme bedragen uit te geven voor de campagnes van de Republikeinen en Democraten…… 

Dat de veiligheidsdiensten, die deel uitmaken van Deep State, amper of niet worden gecontroleerd door Washington is een publiek geheim, terwijl deze diensten grote invloed hebben op het regeringsbeleid in de VS……. (weer: neem de leugens die tot de illegale oorlogen van de VS hebben geleid, stuk voor stuk uit de koker van geheime diensten als de CIA en NSA…..)

Outgoing
US envoy to Syria James Jeffrey stated in a
recent interview with Defense
One
that US officials have been “playing shell games” about the
number of troops in the region to deceive the Trump administration
into thinking there has been a military withdrawal. Here are some
excerpts:

“We
were always playing shell games to not make clear to our leadership
how many troops we had there,” Jeffrey said in an interview. The
actual number of troops in northeast Syria is “a lot more than”
the two hundred troops Trump agreed to leave there in 2019.

“What
Syria withdrawal? There was never a Syria withdrawal,” Jeffrey
said. “When the situation in northeast Syria had been fairly stable
after we defeated ISIS, [Trump] was inclined to pull out. In each
case, we then decided to come up with five better arguments for why
we needed to stay. And we succeeded both times. That’s the
story.”

Officially, Trump last year agreed to keep about
200 U.S. troops stationed in northeast Syria to “secure” oil
fields held by the United States’ Kurdish allies in the fight
against ISIS. It is generally accepted that the actual number is now
higher than that — anonymous officials put the number at about 900
today — but the precise figure is classified and remains unknown
even, it appears, to members of Trump’s administration keen to end
the so-called “forever wars.”

Some
mass media propagandists find
it hilarious
that the US war machine used deceit to thwart the president’s
attempts to withdraw from its illegal occupation of Syria:

This
would not be the first time that Jeffrey, a foreign policy insider
with the
past three presidential administrations,
has admitted to deceiving the public about what’s happening in Syria.
Earlier this year he
admitted
at a Hudson Institute video event (these Beltway insiders always
get extra honest
in the company of fellow think tank denizens) that, contrary to the
official public narrative of the US military being in Syria to fight
terrorism, it’s actually there to create “a quagmire for the
Russians”.

This
would also not be the first time we’ve heard reports of the US war
machine hiding the facts from the elected commander-in-chief of the
most powerful military force ever assembled. Last year The
New York Times
cited anonymous US officials in a report on cyber intrusion
operations against the Russian government that the US military had
deliberately kept Trump in the dark about.

“Two
administration officials said they believed Mr. Trump had not been
briefed in any detail about the steps to place ‘implants’ —
software code that can be used for surveillance or attack — inside
the Russian grid,” NYT reports.
“Pentagon and intelligence officials described broad hesitation
to go into detail with Mr. Trump about operations against Russia for
concern over his reaction — and the possibility that he might
countermand it or discuss it with foreign officials.”

America’s
special envoy to Syria publicly admits that the continued illegal US
military occupation of parts of the country isn’t about fighting ISIS
or other terrorists, as Washington claims. Instead the US aims to
“make it a quagmire for the Russians.”

Mainstream
liberal US discourse has accomplished an amazing feat of Orwellian
doublethink with regard to the notion that unelected power structures
are running things without the consent of the nation’s official
elected government. On the one hand there’s been a nonstop deluge of
Daily
Beast
articles since Trump’s election saying anyone who dares to suggest
the existence of a “deep state” in America is a conspiracy
kook, but on the other hand there’s also been constant praise for the
insider “adults in the room” who ensure from within the
administration that Trump doesn’t demolish America’s precious norms
while in office.

This
cognitive two-step became even more reified after comments from the
likes of Iraq war architect Bill Kristol tweeting
that he’d “prefer the deep state to the Trump state”, and
the famous anonymous New
York Times
op-ed
authored by a “senior official in the Trump administration”
(now known
to have been
former chief of staff at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Miles
Taylor) saying administration officials are working together against
Trump to “thwart parts of his agenda and his worst
inclinations”.

The
understanding of a deep state in America has become even more
obfuscated by the other side of America’s fake partisan divide, with
Trump supporters now using that term to essentially mean “anyone
who doesn’t like Donald Trump”. That erroneous understanding has
now become so prevalently associated with the term “deep state”
that it has lost all use in meaningful discourse and is better off
being avoided altogether if you want to point at something real.

In
reality the term deep state is meant to refer not to anyone who
opposes Trump, nor to a secret cabal of baby-eating Satanists, but
simply to the tendency among government agencies and plutocrats to
form loose alliances with each other and collaborate toward common
agendas. It’s a term used for political analysis to describe
large-scale power agendas that are largely playing out right out in
the open, hidden
in plain sight.

It
doesn’t take a ton of investigative reporting and WikiLeaks drops to
understand that there’s been a collective of operatives mostly
running the Trump administration while the actual elected president
yells at the talking heads on Fox News and tweets. It’s also not hard
to brush
away the insubstantial narrative fluff
and see that US policies have remained more or less unbroken
regardless of which elected officials have been in office, and it
doesn’t take a Nostradamus to predict that that will continue to be
the case after Trump is replaced by the next empty husk in the White
House.

The
US government simply is not what Americans were taught it is in
school, and it is not what they tell you it is in the news. It’s a
mostly unelected power establishment which operates in the interests
of imperialist expansionism and oligarchic control, with the official
elected government operating sort of like the unplugged video game
controller you hand your kid brother to keep him from whining for a
chance to play.

All
this fuss over who really won the election is missing the point.
People are bickering over which oligarchic puppet should be sworn in
on January 20th when all the evidence we’ve been given shows that
nobody gets to become president if they inconvenience real power in
any way, and if they do inconvenience real power they are simply
ignored.

That
is the direction we should all be looking. Not in who’s president,
but why things stay the same no matter who’s president.

In
simpele bewoordingen betoogt Caitlin Johnstone dat er geen
oorlogshelden zijn, alleen oorlogsslachtoffers. Terecht merkt ze op
dat iedereen wegkijkt van de immer voortgaande genocide* in Jemen, alsof er iemand in een ruimte wordt
gemarteld en de andere aanwezigen alleen spreken over politiek aan de
eettafel ‘zonder iets te merken……’

Aan
degenen die in de VS stellen dat de verkiezingsresultaten dubieus en
frauduleus zijn, vraagt ze terecht waarom ze niets doen aan een kiesstelsel
dat het slechtste is in de westerse wereld……

De
reguliere (massa-) media in de VS zouden niet uitmaken wie er
president wordt, waar Caitlin op zegt dat dit wel degelijk zo is: die
media hebben 2 jaar lang progressieve kandidaten als Sanders
en Warren afgebrand en hebben het laatste jaar niet anders gedaan dan Joe Biden
promoten als nieuwe president……

De
Republikeinen hebben 4 jaar lang over Russiagate gezegd, dat dit geen probleem
was voor Trump en dat dit een coup was van de Democraten tegen zijn administratie….. Democraten spreken
van een coup door het gedrag van de zittende Trump administratie, die
de Democraten weigert te helpen om de volgende administratie (van
Biden) voor te bereiden op het regeren……. Ofwel de politici van
het land dat overal en nergens staatsgrepen organiseert, hebben geen
idee van wat het begrip ‘coup’ inhoudt…..

Volgens Caitlin hebben de de reguliere westerse (politieke) media, in bezit van plutocraten, een collectieve doctrine opgezet waarmee ze iedereen duidelijk maken dat je niet zomaar een oorlog ver weg kan beëindigen en iedereen een idioot is die zegt dat je de troepen terug kan trekken…… Het voorgaande vergelijkt Caitlin met een feitenvrije religieuze doctrine, gebaseerd op blind vertrouwen (en daarmee zegt ze geen woord teveel!).

En
zo gaat Caitlin lekker sarcastisch door in haar schrijven waarin ze
de Democraten, Republikeinen en de zojuist genoemde media, de bel
aanbindt met hun leugens, verdraaiingen en roep om elders geweld uit
te oefenen, zogenaamd om democratie, te brengen, terwijl het echte doel de
grondstoffen van zo’n land zijn en/of de geologische (strategische) ligging van zo’n
land……

De
conclusie is dat het grootste deel van het volk wordt gedomineerd
door: -de machtige welgestelden, -de grote bedrijven, -de liegende geheime diensten plus -de
idem liegende politiek en media, waar de laatste twee het volk in feite
hersenspoelen en dit volk tegelijk voorhouden dat het een vrije wil
heeft…….

It’s
still really, really weird that we don’t all talk about Yemen all the
time. It’s like there’s someone in the room being tortured with
a blowtorch and we’re all just chatting about politics at the dinner
table without noticing.

I’m
sorry your election results are being disputed as fraudulent,
America. Have you tried not having the single
worst electoral system
in the western world?

❖

“The
media do not decide who’s president!”

Uhh,
yeah they kinda do. They spent two years sabotaging progressive
primary candidates and spent this year manufacturing consent for
Biden. They manipulate the thoughts people think about power, and
they can install whomever they wish.

❖

Republicans
spent years calling a fake Russia narrative that posed no risk of
removing Trump a “coup”. Now Democrats are calling a
glorified temper tantrum a “coup”. The government that
stages the most coups around the world has no idea what they are.

They’re
not scaring you about a Trump “coup” because there is any
possibility of that ever happening, they’re doing it because it’s
their last chance to use Trump to psychologically abuse you for
clicks.

❖

Biden
is a hollowed out husk of a man whose insides have been entirely
filled with corporate logos.

❖

FYI
anyone who is already defending Biden and saying you’re being too
hard on him will be completely useless for the next four to eight
years.

❖

Liberals
are gonna hate me so
much more than they already do. They’re gonna get sentimental about
the old Caitlin.

❖

You
can get rid of Trump, but people who say the mass media are crooks
and liars will keep getting traction and attention with that message.
Because it is true, and people know it is true.

❖

Liberal
pundits have loved to promote the narrative that Trump is uniquely
cozy with dictators because it lets them both (A) attack him for
being insufficiently hawkish toward nations like Russia and North
Korea and (B) pretend their favorite presidents haven’t been
extremely cozy with dictators.

❖

Liberal
punditry assured us that if Trump was elected in 2016 there’d be
millions of deportations, Muslims in concentration camps and
alt-right militias driving minorities out of the country. Instead we
got another shitty Reagan Republican, total amnesia for Bush and
Obama’s crimes, and a bunch of psychologically traumatized liberals
who just lived through the Holocaust in their minds.

It
is literally impossible to say Trump is uniquely evil among
presidents without rehabilitating George W Bush. It can’t be done,
because nothing Trump did is as bad as an invasion which killed over
a million people, destabilized the Middle East and ushered in an
unprecedented era of military expansionism which displaced tens of
millions of people.

That’s
always been the most destructive element of Trump hysteria: not that
it’s unfair to Trump, but that it necessarily erases the crimes of
his predecessors and
of future presidents. It blurs out the criminal nature of the US
empire as an institution by making it about one guy.

❖

One
party wants to roll back most of the environmental measures. The
other party that wants to implement vastly insufficient environmental
measures which accomplish nothing but allowing liberals feel like
they’re doing something for a few years. These two parties are not
meaningfully different from each other on environmental issues.

❖

In
the old days whole empires were built up around religions and their
theocratic institutions, who used their doctrines to shape society in
service of the powerful. Nowadays the same thing happens, but the
religion is called “capitalism”.

❖

The
plutocrat-owned western political/media class has built up a
collective doctrine that you cannot simply end overseas wars and
bring the troops home, and that anyone who says you can is a lunatic.
That’s all it is though: fact-free religious doctrine, espoused on
blind faith.

When
it comes to large-scale governing and international matters, the
mainstream perspective is only mainstream because extremely wealthy
people poured vast fortunes into making it mainstream. There’s no
collective wisdom or truth in it, it’s just what power wants us to
believe about what’s going on.

Leftists:
I want socialism, an end to imperialism, and revolutionary change.

Liberals:
I want capitalism, endless war, and the status quo. Also I have pink
hair.

Rightists:
These are the same to me.

❖

As
long as the powerful are propagandizing the people, the people aren’t
truly operating with free will. Anyone who’s escaped a relationship
with a manipulative abuser understands that you’re not really
operating with much free agency while you’re being psychologically
dominated.

❖

There
are no war heroes, only war victims.

Internationale Dag van de Rechten van het Kind: 20 november 2020

Het is vandaag de Internationale Dag van de Rechten van het Kind. Tot 10 uur vanmorgen (daarna schakel ik over naar buitenlandse zenders) niets over te horen op Radio1 of BNR, beiden nationale nieuwszenders…… Alleen een paar kleine kranten in Nederland hebben een artikel geplaatst waarin dit onderwerp voorkwam….. Ook op de BBC of BBC Scotland geen woord over deze dag…..  Gelukkig hebben de Duitse media wel ruime aandacht aan deze zaak geschonken………

Blijkbaar schaamt men zich in de reguliere media hoe men in de diverse EU landen omgaat met de rechten van het kind…. Niet zo vreemd als je de berichtgeving in ogenschouw neemt als het gaat om de vluchtelingenkinderen, waarin wat Nederland betreft deze media bijvoorbeeld hare VVD kwaadaardigheid Broekers-Knol steunden in het afwijzen van het opnemen van deze kinderen uit Griekse vluchtelingenkampen op Lesbos en andere eilanden……. Daarmee werd en wordt ook nog eens het door Nederland getekende VN Vluchtelingenverdrag geschonden…… En dan te bedenken dat Nederland mede verantwoordelijk is voor de enorme vluchtelingenstromen uit o.a. Syrië, Irak en Afghanistan……. (tegen de wil van het Iraakse volk in, is Rutte 3 van zins weer militairen naar hun land te sturen, zo werd gisteren bericht…….)

Bij mijn weten was Duitsland weer het enige land dat deze kinderen en
anderen vluchtelingen van die eilanden ruimschoots opnam……. 

Waar men al niet eens over wil spreken is over het enorme aantal vermoorde kinderen in Jemen, intussen zijn door de genocide tegen de sjiitische bevolking meer dan 100.000 kinderen overleden, iets waar men zich niet mee wil bemoeien, men onderhoudt liever goede banden met de grootste verantwoordelijken: Saoedi-Arabië (dat ook nog eens goede banden onderhoudt met ‘ons’ koningshuis) en de VS…….. Guterres, de VN topgraaier besteedde vandaag weer aandacht aan de vreselijke situatie waarin miljoenen Jemenieten zich bevinden en waarschuwde voor de grootste hongersnood van de laatste decennia…… (een hongersnood die nu al jaren aanhoudt en die zich nog verder intensiveert…….)

Hoe is het mogelijk en dat noemt men anno 2020 beschaving………

Bidens regering zal veel gewelddadiger zijn dan die van Obama: ‘linkse Democraten’ moeten nu al met verzet beginnen

CaitlinJohnstone verwacht dat de Biden administratie gewelddadiger zal zijn
dan die van Obama en dat zal leiden tot de voorwaarden die het een
‘tweede Trump’ (of zelfs Trump) mogelijk zal maken om de verkiezingen
over 4 jaar te winnen. Caitlin ziet het als een teruggang in de tijd,
vlak voordat de Democraten werden verslagen door Trump.

Terecht merkt Caitlin op dat linkse
Democraten nu al moeten beginnen met het verzet tegen de Biden
administratie, zoals Biden nu al bezig is om alles wat naar links
ruikt en zeker de leiders van de linkse Democraten, Bernie Sanders en
Elizabeth Warren buiten zijn regering te houden en alle plannen die
ze hadden bij een eventuele verkiezingswinst door de
papiervernietiger te halen……

Niet
voor niets dat Biden vrouwen aanstelt in zijn administratie, daar dit
al als links/progressief wordt gezien door zowel de linkse als de conservatieve (neoliberale) tak van de Democraten (waar de laatsten uiteraard niet zo blij mee zijn)…… Daarbij is Kamala Harris als Biden een oorlogsmisdadiger, zij moet de zwarte
bevolking behagen en lokken voor de verkiezingen over 4
jaar en kan door haar recente agressieve geschiedenis rekenen op de steun van de door de Republikeinen beheerste senaat….. Bovendien haalt Biden met Harris ook nog eens een aardig
deel van de bevolking binnen die van oorsprong uit Midden- en
Zuid-Amerika komt. Kortom ‘3 vliegen in 1 valse klap……’ 

Eigenlijk
haalt Biden nog veel meer groepen binnen, daar hij de wapenindustrie
al veel winsten heeft beloofd met zijn oorlogstaal tegen Venezuela,
Iran en Rusland…… China zal hij noodgedwongen blijven aanpakken daar

haalt Caitlin het boek van Obama aan, memoires van zijn
presidentschap en de aanloop daartoe, dat nu in de winkels
ligt (zal daar later nog een bericht over brengen). Onder andere noemt Caitlin de
uitlatingen van Obama over de meer dan belachelijke ‘oorlog tegen
terreur’, waar hij stelt dat hij deze oorlog door George W. Bush begonnen ten volle steunde en nog steunt, terwijl die oorlog
juist met grootschalige terreur werd en wordt uitgevoerd en een groot
aantal terroristen heeft gekweekt, om nog maar te zwijgen over de 2,5 miljoen doden die dit heeft opgeleverd siunds 2001…… (en dat cijfer is nog buiten de 3.000 mensen die zouden zijn omgekomen bij de aanvallen op de Twin Towers, waarover nu meer dan duidelijk is dat deze werd geregisseerd door de CIA en de NSA…….)

It
looks like a safe bet that Joe Biden will be sworn in on January 20th
after successfully campaigning on returning the murderous and
oppressive Orwellian US empire back to its pre-Trump “normal”.

The
problem with this, apart from the obvious fact that it was an
embarrassingly
close victory
only made possible by the Covid outbreak, is that returning to the
pre-Trump “normal” is returning to the exact positions
which created Trump. It’s like using a time machine to prevent a
train wreck, but only going back to one millisecond before the train
wreck occurred.

It
is clear that Trump’s election was the
result of the easily exploited dissatisfaction
caused by years of neoliberal austerity at home and neoconservative
bloodshed abroad which Obama forcefully expanded and facilitated
throughout two terms as president. Trump voters famously
defended
opting for the reality TV star over the anointed establishment
favorite Hillary Clinton as a middle finger to the Beltway orthodoxy
which did nothing but enrich the “swamp” Trump pretended
to oppose
on the campaign trail while ordinary Americans suffered.

And
from all appearances it looks like Biden is going to be worse.

Unlike
Obama, Biden did not campaign on hope and change, he campaigned on
opposing
the socialist inclinations of Sanders progressives
and an aggressive foreign
policy
of planetary
domination.
He assured rich donors that nothing
will fundamentally change
under his presidency and his transition team is full of corporate
sociopaths,
war
pigs
and propagandists.
Biden has been a corporatist
warmongering authoritarian
throughout his entire career, and as his mental
capacity
continues to deteriorate he will function as nothing more than an
empty vessel for his establishment handlers to advance their most
pernicious agendas through.

If
I prove right about this, the Biden administration will
generate backlash just like that which arose in response to the Obama
administration, and that backlash will
be more severe than its previous iteration. This is absolutely
guaranteed. You can only oppress, neglect and enrage a population so
much before the discontent begins to grow.

There
is absolutely nothing American leftists can do to prevent this
backlash from coming. They will have absolutely no say in this
administration’s policies or behavior; BidenCorp has no reason to
listen to them, has made no pretense of having any interest in
listening to them, and is even freezing
Sanders and Warren
out of cabinet roles already.

All
US leftists will have any control over is whether this backlash will
break to the left, or if it will break to the far right.

Contrary
to what many mainstream liberals seem to have been imagining,
American racism and far right extremism did not begin with Trump, and
will not end with Trump. The white supremacists, xenophobes,
ethnonationalists, QAnon cultists and right wing militias are not
going anywhere after Biden takes office, and the backlash against his
administration and its worst impulses will be inflamed and co-opted
by mainstream Republican narrative managers. This will set the stage
for something a lot uglier than Trump down the road if it’s
successful.

What
the left can do is get ahead of the game. Take control of the
anti-Biden, anti-establishment pushback by leading the
charge–sooner, more aggressively, and more compellingly than the far
right does. Use the awfulness of the Biden administration to ignite a
true leftward zeitgeist in mainstream America that is so strong it
eclipses the inevitable rightist backlash in energy and appeal.

We
already know the American left has the ability to pull this off. The
grassroots, populist support for Bernie Sanders during his two
primary campaigns has been one of the most energized and inspired
political forces I’ve ever witnessed, consistently forcing aggressive
responses
from the establishment narrative managers
to contradict the damage it did to their preferred candidates.

The
problem with Bernie Twitter and the rest of his powerful support base
is that it only exists for a few months at a time, fizzling out when
it becomes clear that their candidate has had the door shut to him
and then reluctantly diverted into support for the establishment
candidate under the guidance of Sanders himself.

The
only thing more depressing than watching Bernie Twitter devolve from
soaring energy and inspiration to petty sectarianism and infighting
is watching it happen a second time.

But
imagine if that did not happen. Imagine if the US left realized how
extremely urgent it is to control the unavoidable backlash against
the Biden/Harris administration so that the right does not and built
momentum in a healthy direction instead, not for a few months but for
years on end. Seizing every disgusting, ridiculous and hilarious
thing this government does and attacking it, lampooning it, mocking
it, creating funny and interesting content absolutely wrecking it.

An
actual, energized counterculture could be created which could reshape
US culture as a whole. The Breitbart
crowd recognizes
that politics is downstream from culture while the left has generally
failed to make this connection, which is arguably why their guy is in
the White House right now and the left’s guy isn’t. A Biden
administration will provide ample fodder for attacks against status
quo politics, and this can be used to galvanize America’s hidden
progressive impulses
into a movement vastly greater than any one candidate.

But
the ball needs to start rolling on this now.
Not after the Georgia runoffs, not after Biden takes office, not
after the midterms: now.
The longer US leftists wait to start pushing this thing forward, the
less of a head start you’ll have on the rightists while they’re
fixated on Trump’s recounts and legal challenges. You’ll only be able
to lead the backlash if you get in early and hit the ground running
as fast as you can.

If
we know anything for certain, it’s that US power structures find it
infinitely preferable to deal with a right-populist movement that can
be appeased by some obnoxious tweets and an 8chan psyop than with
real leftist populism. They’re more than happy to throw the far right
a tax cut and some immigration restrictions, but real revolution can
only come from the left. There is an opportunity to create an opening
for that to occur, but it needs to happen before this thing can be
steered rightward.

I
know I’m regarded as a bit of a crackpot in some leftist circles; I’m
the girl a lot of lefties read in private but don’t share in public.
But this is a really important idea that needs to get out there, and
I’m hoping it reaches the eyes of some leftist thought leaders who
can advance it in their own words in their own way. This is very
urgent and the more people understand this the better shot we’ll all
have at creating a healthy world for everyone. Please get thinking
about this, everyone.

De aanstelling van Michele Flournoy als
minister van defensie (lees: oorlog), bejubeld
als voorbeeld voor gelijkheid van man en vrouw*, heeft niets van doen met
feminisme, zo betoogt Caitlin Johnstone volkomen terecht in een artikel over deze
aanstelling, de kop boven haar artikel luidt dan ook: ‘This Isn’t
Feminism, It’s Imperialism In Pumps’.

Flournoy
heeft een heel smerige geschiedenis achter zich bij het Pentagon en ‘zou een baken
zijn geweest voor internationale militaire samenwerking’ (o.a. in
hulp bij militaire staatsgrepen in het buitenland)…… Onder Obama
heeft Flournoy een topfunctie vervuld op dat Pentagon en als zodanig
is ze medeverantwoordelijk voor de coup in Honduras tegen de democratisch gekozen president Zelaya en die in Oekraïne
tegen de democratisch gekozen* president Janoekovytsj…… Voorts is de VS mede verantwoordelijk voor de illgele oorlog tegen Libië, die dat eens rijkste land van Afrika in diepe ellende heeft gestort zodat het nu tot de armste landen van dat continent behoort…… Ofwel
‘feminist’ Flournoy staat tot ver over de pumps in het bloed van mensen die zijn
omgekomen door VS ingrijpen in die periode…….

Caitlin
ergert zich aan de kwalificaties die Flournoy worden toegedicht, zo
zou haar gematigde (‘moderate’) zienswijze steun verzekeren van beide partijen
(Democraten en Republikeinen, Ap) en dat in een positie die door
de senaat moet worden goedgekeurd……. (de senaat die vooralsnog in
handen is van de Republikeinen en dat hoogstwaarschijnlijk zal
blijven)

Het
woord ‘gematigd’ in samenhang met Michele Flournoy is als de
gematigdheid van de zogenaamde gematigde rebellen in Syrië, die
het westen zo bejubelde (zowel in politiek als media), maar die uiteindelijk moordenaars, verkrachters,
martelbeulen en slavenhandelaars/houders bleken te zijn…..
(overigens werden mensen die dit van meet af aan stelden afgedaan als
Assad propagandisten door die westerse politiek en media….)…..

Flournoy
is een bloeddorstige en oorlogswinstmaker aldus Caitlin, die teven de
uitspraak van Medea Benjamin en Nicholas JS Davies aanhaalt die haar
een ‘angel of death’ noemen en die als leider van het ministerie met
de belachelijke aanduiding ‘defensie’ (lees: oorlog) het overzicht zal hebben over
dezelfde agenda van haar voorgangers, de eenzijdige globale
overheersing van de VS, die verantwoordelijk was en is voor rivieren
gevuld met bloed en dat min of meer op dezelfde manier als die
voorgangers…… Niet zo vreemd als je nagaat dat Joe Biden al ver
voor de verkiezingen de Trump administratie slapheid verweet in het
optreden tegen staten als Iran en Venezuela…… Terwijl de immense
terreur van de Trump administratie in de vorm van sancties al enorm
veel doden heeft gekost, in Venezuela zou dit al aan 50.000
mensen het leven hebben gekost…… Als je die terreur
afschildert als slapheid is er van Biden maar één ding te
verwachten: oorlog tegen die landen!!!

Caitlin stelt in haar artikel uiterst sarcastisch (maar alweer volkomen terecht) dat ‘de VS trots mag zijn’, er komt een intersectioneel kabinet met vrouwen die o.a massamoordenaar zijn………. Uiteraard gaat ze verder in op de rol man en vrouw en wat dit betekent in de dagelijkse politieke en ambtelijke praktijk. 

Lees
het volgende schrijven van Caitlin en zegt het voort, tijd dat de
wereld inziet dat oorlogsmisdadigers Biden en Flournoy verantwoordelijk zullen zijn voor
de volgende golf van VS terreur over de wereld en dat deze alweer een stuk groter zal zijn dan onder Trump…….. Maar ja wat wil je? De VS is immers het Vierde Rijk en tevens verreweg de grootste terreurentiteit ter wereld…… In het westen roept men halleluja over de winst van Biden, maar aan hoeveel arme drommels zal dit het leven kosten…???

word “moderate” which the AP news agency keeps bleating is
of course complete nonsense. Standing in the middle ground between
two corporatist warmongering parties does not make you a moderate, it
makes you a corporatist warmonger. Flournoy is no more “moderate”
than the “moderate rebels” in Syria which mass media
outlets like AP praised for years until it became undeniable that
they were largely
Al Qaeda affiliates;
the only reason such a position can be portrayed as mainstream and
moderate is because vast fortunes have been poured into making it
that way.

As
we discussed
recently,
Flournoy is a bloodthirsty imperialist and war profiteer who peace
activists Medea Benjamin and Nicolas JS Davies
accurately labeled
an “angel of death” for the American empire. As leader of
the laughably titled Department of “Defense” she can be
expected to oversee the same agendas of unipolar global domination at
the expense of rivers of blood as her predecessors, in more or less
exactly the same ways.

There
is nothing special or noteworthy about a murderous ghoul rising to
the top of a war machine that can only be run by murderous ghouls.
But because Michele Flournoy is a woman, we will see her appointment
as “Defense” Secretary applauded and upheld as a major
landmark for women by a political/media class which has never cared
about women beyond their ability to turn the gears of the machine.

And
of course establishment narrative managers are already greasing the
wheels for that applause.

Modern
mainstream feminism has abandoned women’s interests so thoroughly and
completely in almost all spheres of importance that it has largely
become only superficially distinct from the patriarchy it purports to
oppose. The plight of mothers, elderly women, young girls, caregivers
and wives have been almost entirely shuffled out of popular
discourse, with focus instead shifted onto discussions about whether
women are being adequately rewarded for their service to the God of
Capitalism, or how they’re just as qualified as men to murder
thousands of people at a time.

Instead
of fighting to correct the societal imbalances which have resulted
from millennia of male domination of society, mainstream feminism now
promotes and applauds the very worst aspects of those imbalances.
Instead of fighting to help women out of the impossible situation
where they’re expected to simultaneously be successful capitalists
and good mothers in an economic system where families can’t survive
on a single income and children and the elderly are being neglected,
we’re getting headlines about murderous warmongers “breaking
barriers” and think pieces about how women
should be allowed to inherit dukedoms.

In
a system where dominant cultural narratives are always
being deliberately twisted
toward the advantage of the powerful, healthy collective impulses
consistently wind up being diverted and corrupted until they find
themselves unwittingly serving the very forces they set out to push
back against. Movements toward racial equality have been twisted into
support for the Democratic Party whose austerity policies and legal
authoritarianism disproportionately hurt racial minorities worse than
anyone else. Movements to elect a Democratic Socialist get funneled
into support for the idiotic Russia conspiracies of the #Resistance.
Movements to fight patriarchy wind up amplifying the most unhealthy
aspects of patriarchy.

A
true feminism would work toward a reversal of all the unhealthy
aspects of society which were put there by social engineers without
any input from women.

All
around the world for thousands of years, wherever a civilization
sprang up, the larger, stronger gender was naturally in a position to
assert dominance over the way that civilization was run. Leadership
systems were invented by men, social hierarchies were invented by
men, marriage was invented by men, family structural norms were
designed by men, money was invented by men, war was invented by men,
and men invented religions which just so happened to have patriarchal
gods who all agreed that the way men had set things up was indeed
right and just.

Women
were essentially property throughout most of this, and thus had very
little input into how any of it was set up. Generation after
generation after generation of women were born into this
male-engineered society, over thousands and thousands of years, into
a system so deeply and extensively normalized that it’s almost
impossible to imagine what our society might look like had it not
been dominated entirely by men throughout its history.

And
then, very, very recently in the grand scheme of things, a healthy
impulse emerged among women to cease being second-class citizens, and
to instead stand as equals with their brothers.

In
response, after much whining and foot-dragging, the men who ran
things said in effect, “Right. Okay. You want equality? Fine. The
jobs we invented are over there, the capitol building for the
government we invented is over there, the bank for the economic
system we invented is across the street, the Department of War is two
blocks that way, and the Church of the Patriarchal God is around the
corner. Welcome to equality!”

And
some rich guys standing by watching leaned in and whispered to each
other, “Sweet, double the workforce! We can halve their wages!”

should not be cheering for women rising to the top of a psychopathic

back all the conditions which led to it.

True
feminism, which is interested in guiding the world toward balance and
heath in a way that benefits women and their children, would make
this a priority.

Push
against the celebrations of women being elevated to positions which
go directly against the interests of women. Do not let mass murder
and psychopathy become the landmark for success in the kind of world
we are creating for our daughters. Oppose this madness and push for
the kind of world we all know deep down we ought to have.

De
Democraten hebben weliswaar de presidentsverkiezingen gewonnen, maar
ondanks een keer zo hoog budget voor die verkiezingen dan de Republikeinen, hebben ze geen extra senaatszetels gehaald en daardoor zelfs
zetels verloren in het huis van afgevaardigden……. Kortom je zou
kunnen stellen dat Biden als nieuwe president bitter weinig voor
elkaar zal krijgen…….

Binnen
de Democratische Partij wijst men met de vingers naar de links kant
van die partij als schuldigen voor dit negatieve resultaat in het
congres…… Linkse Democratische politici die o.a. achter de Green
New Deal staan, hebben het wel degelijk goed gedaan tijdens de
verkiezingen, ofwel de conservatieve tak van de Democraten wijst
volkomen onterecht naar de progressieve krachten in de partij als
schuldigen voor dit verlies aan macht in het congres….. 

Als die conservatieve Democratische tak van de partij zo doorgaat bestaat de kans dat de partij zal worden gespleten en er een nieuwe wat meer linkse Democratische Partij zal ontstaan. Gezien het resultaat van die progressieve, meer linkse tak zou die wel eens de oude Democratische Partij kunnen overvleugelen en dat zou een hele verademing zijn, daar er nog amper verschil bestaat tussen de Democratische en Republikeinse Partij, wat voor de wereld betekent dat Biden door zal gaan op het illegale oorlogspad en dat wellicht op een heel wat fanatiekere manier dan de Trump administratie…….

Shedding more light on a
significant electoral trend that progressives have drawn attention to
in the aftermath of the 2020 U.S. election, a new analysis by Earther
found that of the 93 House co-sponsors of the Green New Deal
resolution who ran for reelection this year, only one lost their
congressional race. 

“Simply put,” wrote
journalist Brian Kahn in Earther,
“the Green New Deal is not a political loser,” including
for representatives in swing districts.

Kahn identified four House
co-sponsors who represent districts that “range from very
slightly Democratic to moderately Republican,” according to Cook
Political Report’s
Partisan Voting Index. 

Of those four, three—Reps. Mike
Levin (D-Calif.), Jahana Hayes (D- Conn.), and Peter DeFazio
(D-Ore.)—have already “decisively won their reelection bids,”
while the fourth, Rep. Tom Suozzi (D- N.Y.), is projected to win
handily “once all mail-in ballots are counted.”

“This quick-and-dirty
analysis,” Kahn said, “aligns with other data showing that
representatives who have sponsored and voted for progressive policies
were not punished by voters.”

As Common
Dreams reported this
weekend, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) and others pointed
out that every single congressional member who ran for reelection
this year as a supporter of Medicare for All won their race. 

Ocasio-Cortez
hinted that her team would be “running numbers” on the
Green New Deal—of which she is the
lead House sponsor—next. As
Earther’s analysis showed,
the reelection rate for representatives who co-sponsored the Green
New Deal resolution was nearly 100% as well, with 92 out of those 93
congressional members retaining their seat.  

“Saying progressive policies
held Democrats back from expanding their House majority/taking the
Senate just doesn’t hold water with data available so far,”
Kahn noted on
Twitter.

As Common
Dreams reported last week,
the blame
game within the Democratic Party began immediately in the wake of
its lackluster showing in down-ticket contests, with officials from
the right and left flanks of the party pointing
fingers at each other. 

The New
York Times allowed
Ocasio-Cortez to make
the evidence-backed case for the positive
role played by the left in the 2020 election, but for the most
part, corporate media outlets over the weekend did their best to
cement the right-wing narrative that progressive policy ideas are to
blame for the party’s underwhelming performance in down-ballot races.

So-called moderate Republicans like
former Ohio Gov. John Kasich and Sen. Mitt Romney of Utah, as well as
moderate Democrats like South Carolina Congressman James Clyburn,
were given airtime on CNN
to falsely claim Americans don’t back egalitarian policy proposals.

Yesterday we officially entered a new era of not listening to anything John Kasich says. The era will continue until further notice.

These assaults continue despite
recent
polling, including surveys commissioned by
Fox News, that indicates
the majoritarian popularity of left-wing policy ideas eschewed by
Democrats and Republicans alike, including an expanded role for the
government in the provision of healthcare and the creation of green
jobs in energy and infrastructure. 

In Georgia, for instance, where
Democrats
have a chance to secure a Senate majority if they win both runoff
races, voters
prefer a universal public option to the Affordable Care Act. 

Since voting ended last week,
however, numerous corporate-friendly politicians have advocated for
shifting the nation’s political center of gravity rightward, despite
the fact that politicians who supported popular redistributive
policies, such as Medicare for All and the Green New Deal, were
reelected
at higher rates than ostensibly centrist Democrats, including in
swing districts. 

“The people who actually back
progressive policies came through the election largely unscathed and,
in many cases, fared better than their more conservative Democratic
counterparts in swing districts,” Kahn wrote.

“For all the complaining about
progressive policies sinking Democrats’ chances of expanding their
hold on the House and overtaking the Senate,” he added, “the
data available so far just is not there.”

De hypocrisie van ‘liberale en linkse’ Democratische stemmers

Volgens
Caitlin Johnstone mag men zich inderdaad kwaad maken over het feit
dat Trump de eindzege van de verkiezingen op 4 november jl.
opeiste, echter de volledige reguliere (massa-) media en ‘politieke
klasse’ hebben elke legitimiteit verloren om ook nog maar een letter
van kritiek te leveren op het zich illegaal kronen door Trump, nadat
ze de VS coup in Venezuela hebben gesteund…… (in het schrijven
van Caitlin zit een fout, daar ze zegt dat deze groepen elke
legitimiteit hebben verloren om een leider te veroordelen die henzelf [‘themselves’] kroonde, moet uiteraard zichzelf zijn)

Verder
een mooi kort stuk waarin wordt aangegeven dat we van de Democraten
niets hoeven te verwachten als Biden de nieuwe president zou worden (het artikel van Caitlin is van 5 november jl. en toen was nog niet zeker of Biden werkelijk genoeg kiesmannen zou weten te bemachtigen*). Het voorgaande daar de
grote bedrijven de Biden campagne hebben gesteund en dat moet terugbetaald worden nu hij heeft gewonnen…. Zo kan het arme deel van de VS wel vergeten dat
Biden veel voor hen zal doen, daar dit tegen de belangen indruist van
de grote bedrijven, waar ik een paar groepen apart wil noemen: de
financiële sector, de farmaceutische sector en de wapenfabrikanten
(de laatste in de grootste zin van het woord, dus inclusief de
fabrikanten van rollend, varend en vliegend oorlogstuig….)

Oké
Biden zal iets meer doen voor het milieu en de VS weer binnen de
groep landen brengen, die de klimaatakkoorden van Parijs tekenden,
een verdrag waaruit de VS, ofwel klimaatscepticus Trump, zich op 4 november jl. officieel terugtrok…..
Echter vergeet daarbij niet dat dit waardeloze verdrag volkomen ontoereikend is
om de snelle klimaatverandering zelfs maar enigszins af te remmen, laat
staan dat het leugenachtige doel wordt gehaald, om de stijging van de
wereldtemperatuur tegen het eind van deze eeuw tot 1,5 graad Celsius te beperken, dat is schier
onmogelijk!!

het schrijven van Caitlin en bedenk dat de wereld een VS president
nodig heeft die echt radicaal de boel wil veranderen, niet alleen
voor het volk van de VS, maar voor de hele wereld, een president ook
die een eind maakt aan de oneindige illegale oorlogen van de VS en
die de meer dan 800 buitenlandse VS bases ontmantelt!! Denken dat
zo’n president uit de kringen van Democraten of Republikeinen zal

It
is perfectly valid for the American public to express outrage over
Trump’s declaration of victory, but the entire American media and
political class forever lost all legitimacy to condemn a nation’s
leader from illegitimately crowning themselves by backing the
Venezuela coup.

❖

Watching
Democrats’ inability to handily defeat a crazy reality TV host in two
elections is like seeing someone pick a fight with a six year-old
girl and getting their ass kicked, then coming back with a bunch of
their friends and watching them all get carried off on stretchers.

❖

All
the hours of post-electoral analysis you’re about to hear are just
mental gymnastics to avoid confronting one very simple fact: that the
way the Democratic Party has been securing funding is incompatible
with securing votes. That’s the only correct answer to the question
of what went wrong for the Democrats this year. They court wealthy
donors who in exchange demand policies which hurt ordinary Americans.
Ignore all answers besides this one.

It’s
not because of inadequate outreach to this or that demographic. It’s
not because of racism. It’s not because of being too “woke”.
It’s not because of the Electoral College or gerrymandering. It’s
because Democratic donors advance interests which hurt the Democratic
base, which naturally makes the base disinclined to vote for them.

People
simply are not going to support a party which does not advance their
interests. If the Democratic Party were obtaining material benefits
for people, they would dominate the US government. But that would
mean taking things away from the donor class, so it’s been a no-go.
Meanwhile the donor class is never going to support a party which
acts against its interests. Getting enough votes and getting the
support of wealthy elites are therefore mutually exclusive endeavors.
You cannot have both. Dems will keep struggling with votes until they
figure this out.

❖

It
is good that people are criticizing the Democrats’ garbage
performance against a cartoon character opponent. But let’s not kid
ourselves: as soon as they get Biden in the line is going to be
“We’re doing fine; nothing needs to change. Biden beat the
socialist and then beat Trump. Where’s brunch?”

❖

Democrats
ignored the left and courted Republicans instead under the mistaken
belief that there are millions of Americans who want to coddle the
rich, kill the poor, shit on disadvantaged groups and destroy the
environment, but to do so with decency.

❖

Maybe
there are a lot of liberals who are closet Trump voters. This dark,
secret passion they can never admit to publicly, like how all
conservatives secretly love gay sex.

❖

Presidents
are just narrative management ops the US empire uses to explain to
the public why it is doing the things it was always going to do. Like
explaining death to children using puppets.

❖

If
Biden somehow fails to get in, the elites who installed him as the
nominee are responsible for that loss. If Biden secures the election,
the elites who installed him are responsible for his administration’s
evil actions. You don’t get to control everything and then duck
responsibility for your outcomes.

❖

Ignore
everyone who’s bitching about the Electoral College right now. They
only ever complain about it during actual elections and then forget
all about it until the next one.

❖

Leftists
who voted Biden did it with the goal of hopefully later getting a
chance to wake America up. Liberals who voted Biden did it so they
can go back to sleep.

❖

Bush
dropped more bombs than Clinton. Obama dropped more bombs than Bush.
Trump dropped more bombs than Obama. This trend has much less to do
with who’s president than with the nature of global metastatic
imperialism. And it ain’t changing with Biden.

❖

The
idea that everything will be fine once Trump’s gone is more dangerous
than Trump.

❖

The
more desperately aggressive and authoritarian the western empire
becomes, the more the blue checkmarked commentariat who protect it
are going to expose themselves for what they really are.

This
is all you’re ever seeing with those liberals and fauxgressives who
spend all their time on Twitter taking pot shots at anti-imperialists
and finger wagging at people for being too far left. They’re just
protecting an increasingly indefensible world order from its critics.

“Antifascists”
who support Biden should call themselves
Arguably-Slightly-Less-Fascist.

❖

The
dumbest thing about this presidential race has been the narrative
that nations who will be targeted by the US no matter who wins have a
really strong preference for one of the candidates.

Beauty

Vandaag vindt een videoconferentie plaats met de ministers van Binnenlandse Zaken van de EU-lidstaten, onderwerp: de recente terreuraanslagen door ‘islam terroristen’. Volgens ‘ingewijden’ zal er ongetwijfeld meer geld worden vrijgemaakt voor Interpol en zal men dit orgaan meer bevoegdheden toekennen (zoals bijna elke lidstaat na aanslagen hun geheime diensten en politiekorpsen meer geld geven en meer bevoegdheden geven….) Ook bespreekt men hoe de afzonderlijke landelijke politiekorpsen van de EU-lidstaten beter kunnen samenwerken…..

Voorts gaat e.e.a. ‘natuurlijk’ over de grensbewaking tussen onderlinge EU-lidstaten en de verhouding met het Verdrag van Schengen….. Het is vrijwel zeker dat er weer meer geld vrijgemaakt zal worden om de buitengrenzen beter te bewaken, alsof eerdere geldinjecties ook maar een millimeter verschil uitmaakten met de situatie daaraan voorafgaand (en men wel op tijd figuren die kwaad willen van de straat haalt….)….

Het woord censuur wordt in dat soort conferenties gemeden als de pest, terwijl men wel degelijk censuur op het internet wil invoeren als het gaat ‘om radicale moslim-sites…….’ En nee, men wenst niets te doen tegen het beledigen van de islam, daar spreekt men plotsklaps wel over ‘de vrijheid van meningsuiting……’ (je kan zeggen dat wij nu eenmaal al decennialang onze christelijke godsdienst hebben bespot en bespotten, echter dat betekent niet dat je willens en wetens de islam moet beledigen, waar de meeste moslims, wat betreft hun godsdienst en het denken daarover, fiks achterlopen op het grootste deel van de bevolkingen in westerse landen)……

Videoconferentie van de ministers van Binnenlandse Zaken - Consilium (ha! ha! ha! ha!)

Er zal zeker niet gesproken worden over het feit dat telkens weer blijkt dat de daders van terreuraanslagen al bekend waren bij geheime diensten (en vaak genoeg ook bij de politie), men deze figuren bij wijze van spreken in het vizier had en dat deze figuren desondanks een aanslag wisten te plegen……. 

Ook zal er niet gesproken worden over de grootschalige westerse terreur in diverse moslimlanden als Afghanistan, Irak, Syrië en Libië, wat de laatste betreft ook nog eens in een paar andere islamitische landen in Afrika (waar vooral de VS tekeergaat……..) Bij die terreur zijn alleen deze eeuw al meer dan 2,5 miljoen mensen (moslims) omgekomen en als je denkt dat alle nabestaanden depressief in een hoek gaan zitten, heb je het mis, natuurlijk zitten daar genoeg nabestaanden tussen die wraak wensen te nemen…… Vreemd trouwens dat de westerse media die op tilt slaan na een aanslag in een westers land, totaal niet met opgeklopte reacties komen als een westerse geallieerde in zo’n moslimland een bruiloft of begrafenis opblaast, alsof dat geen terreur is, hetzelfde geldt voor de seriemoorden met VS drones (tot in Pakistan) van mensen die men verdenkt van terreurdaden en waarbij meer dan 90% van de slachtoffers niet eens werd verdacht, dus veelal vrouwen en kinderen…… (alweer alsof dat geen terreur is….)

Wanneer worden de westerse bevolkingen eindelijk wakker uit hun comateuze slaap en zullen ze eisen dat hun afzonderlijke regeringen stoppen met het uitoefenen van grootschalige terreur in landen waar men niets, maar dan ook helemaal niets te zoeken heeft….???
