VS wordt eindelijk aangeklaagd voor oorlogsmisdaden bij Internationaal Strafhof (ICC)

Het werd tijd mensen, het aanklagen van de VS voor oorlogsmisdaden door het Internationaal Strafhof (ICC) in Den Haag. Jammer dat men de VS alleen daarvoor aanklaagt, immers er zijn ook nog de illegale oorlogen die de VS (met hulp van haar oorlogshond NAVO) keer op keer begint, op zich al enorme oorlogsmisdaden, dan zijn er nog de standrechtelijke executies middels drones, waarbij meer dan 90% van de slachtoffers niet eens werd verdacht……. Voorts zijn er de opstanden en staatsgrepen die de VS organiseert en regisseert, zaken waarbij meestal ook veel slachtoffers vallen… Tot slot zijn er dan nog de geheime militaire acties van de VS onder regie van de CIA en het manipuleren van verkiezingen in diverse landen, waarvoor je de VS ook nog eens kan aanduiden als cyberterrorist…….

Over terrorisme gesproken: de VS is de grootste terreurentiteit op aarde, waar dit ‘land’ ook nog eens verantwoordelijk is voor het terrorisme op de Europese straten en enorme vluchtelingenstromen……

Fatou Bensouda is hoofdaanklager bij het ICC en zij heeft een aanklacht wegens oorlogsmisdaden voorbereid, ze wacht nu nog op toestemming om de klacht in te dienen. Het gaat hier om het martelen van gevangen in Afghanistan van 2004 tot 2014…… Vreemd dat in die aanklacht niet meteen het martelen van gevangenen in Irak en Guantanamo Bay werd meegenomen……..

Daar is echter een reden voor: volgens de regels zou het Internationaal Strafhof de VS alleen kunnen vervolgen, daar Afghanistan het Internationaal Strafhof erkent…….. Wat is dat voor waanzin? Veronderstel dat men een inbreker alleen kan vervolgen als hij woonachtig is in de stad waar deze zijn/haar misdaden begaat…….

Maar niet gezeurd, de VS wordt eindelijk aangeklaagd, al heeft de zwaar corrupte regering van Afghanistan geprobeerd dit jarenlang tegen te houden………

The
US Could Finally Be Charged With War Crimes in Afghanistan

(ANTIMEDIA) The
Hague, Netherlands — A
prosecutor for the International Criminal Court (ICC) is
pursuing a war crimes investigation against the United States for its
conduct in Afghanistan following the 9/11 terror attacks.

Chief
prosecutor Fatou Bensouda said last year that the U.S. military and
CIA could be guilty of war crimes for its torture of detainees in
Afghanistan between 2003 and 2014. The Guardian reported that
“Bensouda’s
report last year said
the alleged US war crimes ‘were not the abuses of a few isolated
individuals. Rather, they appear to have been committed as part of
approved interrogation techniques in an attempt to extract
‘actionable intelligence’ from detainees.”
Now, she is seeking approval from the court to move
forward. According to
the Guardian:

“Her
request comes after an unusually long preliminary process, which has
dragged on for 10 years because of a lack of capacity at the court as
well as lobbying from the Afghan government, which tried to block it.
The Afghan president, Ashraf Ghani, met with Bensouda as late as
September during the UN general assembly.”

Bensouda
also highlighted potential war crimes by the Taliban and the Afghan
government, noting that overall, “10,000
civilians were said to have been killed from 2007 to 2011 alone,”
the Independent noted.
The Afghan government has resisted investigations, as has the U.S.
Last year a State Department official said it
was “unwarranted” and “unjustified.”

Nevertheless,
Bensouda intends to investigate “crimes against humanity
and war crimes such as murder, imprisonment, targeting humanitarian
workers, use of child soldiers and carrying out executions without
sentencing from the formal legal system,”
the Guardian summarized.

Until
2016, the ICC had only investigated crimes in Africa, drawing
criticism that it harbored a pro-western bias. It has since launched
investigations in other parts of the world, including Iraq, Cambodia,
Greece, Colombia, and Ukraine.

The
United States is not a member of the court; during George Bush’s
presidency, he declined to participate, claiming the U.S. could be
unfairly attacked for political reasons. Though the U.S. is not a
member, its officials could still be liable if found guilty because
the crimes were committed in Afghanistan, which is a member.

The Guardian reported:

“The
next step is for a pre-trial chamber of judges to consider the
prosecutor’s request, which human rights observers in Kabul believe
they will.”

Human
Rights Watch said:

“Having
documented egregious crimes in Afghanistan that have gone unpunished
over many years, we hope this step will open a path to justice for
countless victims there.”

Given
the court’s previous aversion to prosecuting the U.S. for war
crimes, it remains unlikely there will be any convictions. The Kuala
Lumpur War Crimes Commission, launched as an alternative to the
Hague-based ICC, previously found
George Bush and Tony Blair guilty of “crimes against peace”
during the Iraq War, but both men walk free.

The
U.S. has long been accused of war crimes, including potential crimes
in drone warfare, as well as during the Vietnam War.

Katherine
Gallagher, a senior lawyer at the Center for Constitutional Rights
(CCR) in New York, was pleased with the ICC’s move to potentially
hold U.S. nationals accountable, especially in light of President
Trump’s decision to increase troop levels (similar to
the Obama administration).

“This
long overdue message that no one is above the law is particularly
important now, as the Trump administration ramps up military
machinations in Afghanistan and embraces the endless war with no plan
in sight,”
she said.

According
to Bensouda:

“For
decades, the people of Afghanistan have endured the scourge of armed
conflict. Following
a meticulous preliminary examination of the situation, I have come to
the conclusion that all legal criteria required under the [ICC’s]
Rome statute to commence an investigation have been met.”

She
also said:

“In
accordance with the office’s policy and practice, the ultimate
focus will be upon those most responsible for the most serious crimes
allegedly committed in connection with the situation in Afghanistan.”

Donald Trump roept wereld op N-Korea te boycotten………. Boycot VS producten!!

Het beest Trump riep de wereld gisteren op het Noord-Koreaanse regime te boycotten. In termen die niet mis te verstaan waren waarschuwde Trump voor het gevaar dat Noord-Korea vormt voor de wereldvrede……. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Er zijn door de VN al sancties ingesteld tegen Noord-Korea (onder druk van de VS en haar westerse schoothondjes), maar blijkbaar is het nodig het Noord-Koreaanse volk echt te treffen, zodat kinderen, ouderen en chronisch zieken het loodje zullen leggen……

Daarom zou ik de wereld op willen roepen alles te boycotten wat met de VS te maken heeft. Immers het werkelijke gevaar voor de wereldvrede is de VS zelf! Alleen deze eeuw is de VS al 4 illegale oorlogen begonnen en heeft het in minstens 2 de hand gehad……..

De VS heeft als enig (gestolen) ‘land’ tot 2 keer toe een atoombom gebruikt tegen burgers, de enorme oorlogsmisdaden begaan in Hiroshima en Nagasaki, op een tijdstip dat er al een wapenstilstand getekend had kunnen worden, zonder de voorwaarden die de VS eerder stelde, voorwaarden die de VS na de atoomaanvallen tegen Japan liet vallen………..

Sinds het eind van WOII heeft de VS maar liefst 22 miljoen mensen vermoord* (deze eeuw al 2 miljoen!) dat in: -illegale oorlogen, -staatsgrepen, -door de VS georganiseerde opstanden, -geheime militaire CIA acties en in -economische boycots, zoals die tegen Irak ten tijde van Saddam Hoessein……. Dat koste maar liefst meer dan 1 miljoen kinderen het leven, al schat SOS Kinderen Irak het aantal vermoorde kinderen door die boycot op meer dan 1,5 miljoen……… Al zouden het er 100 zijn geweest, is dit alsnog een misdaad van enorme proporties! Albright, de verantwoordelijk minister onder Bill Clinton, durft nog steeds te zeggen, dat die in feite door de VS vermoorde kinderen, het waard zijn geweest……

Op welk moment zal de wereld zeggen “Genoeg is genoeg” en zal het de VS en een aantal NAVO staten (waaronder Nederland) voor het Internationaal Strafhof (ICC) in Den Haag dagen…….. Er zijn verdomd genoeg processen gevoerd tegen figuren, die qua wreedheid amper of niet in de schaduw van de grootschalige VS (en haar NAVO partners) terreur kunnen staan, al helemaal niet wat het aantal slachtoffers betreft….

Trump zelf heeft al bewezen een enorm veel grotere misdadiger te zijn dan Kim Yung-un en in vergelijking met Yung-un kan je hem zonder meer een massamoordenaar noemen, waar Yung-un ‘hooguit’ een seriemoordenaar is, als je het aantal executies in Noord-Korea in ogenschouw neemt, althans volgens de schattingen van deskundigen…. Een barbaarse straf die overigens ook in de VS nog steeds wordt uitgevoerd…… Men wijst wel eens op de werkkampen van Noord-Korea, echter als je ziet hoeveel (gekleurde) mensen er in de VS cellen zitten, waar ze ook moeten werken, lijkt het me sterk dat Noord-Korea dit aantal in evenredigheid overtreft……..

Libanon: premier al-Hariri treedt af, ‘toevallig’ tijdens zijn bezoek aan Riyad……..

De Libanese premier Saad al-Hariri trad gisteren plotseling af toen hij op bezoek was in Saoedi-Arabië, u weet wel, de reli-fascistische soennitische dictatuur die nog liever vandaag dan morgen alle sjiieten wil uitmoorden……. Vandaar ook dat S-A al weer een paar jaar lang bezig is met de uitvoering van een genocide op de sjiitische bevolking van Jemen, een genocide waar de wereld van wegkijkt……..*

Al-Hariri stelt dat hij aftreedt uit angst om geliquideerd te worden door….. sjiieten uit Iran of van Hezbollah!! ‘Is dat even toevallig’, het besluit van al-Hariri om e.e.a. in het hart van het sjiieten hatende Saoedi-Arabië bekend te maken!!

Saoedi-Arabië, Israël en de VS (uiteraard aangevuld met een aantal andere arabische landen, Groot-Brittannië, met instemming en hulp van de meeste EU landen) zijn al jaren bezig een stok te vinden om Iran mee te slaan, een zoektocht die door Obama even ter zijde werd afgeblazen, maar die Trump opnieuw stevig op touw heeft gezet………

Een stok die overigens zal bestaan uit een groot aantal leugens, zoals we dit van de VS gewend zijn, leugens die braaf door de reguliere westerse (massa-) media en het grootste deel van de westerse politici worden herhaald, zoals dit voor en tijdens de illegale oorlog in 2003 tegen Irak gebeurde (een illegale oorlog die aan meer dan 1.5 miljoen Irakezen het leven koste, of anders gezegd een vreselijke massamoord…..). Over nepnieuws gesproken…….

Al-Hariri weet dondersgoed dat de vrede in Libanon alleen gegarandeerd is, als Hezbollah haar werk kan doen (vergeet net dat Hezbollah vooral een sociale organisatie is, die zich bezig houdt met zorg voor de moslims in Libanon en Israël…..)…. Uiteraard houdt Hezbollah zich niet afzijdig bij de onmenselijke behandeling van Palestijnen door de fascistische apartheidsstaat Israël, dat met een modern leger al vanaf de oprichting van haar staat, het ene na het andere bloedbad heeft aangericht onder de amper bewapende Palestijnen, ook in Libanon…. Vergeet Sabra en Shatila niet!

Te vrezen valt dat het aftreden van al-Hariri één van de stappen is richting een (illegale) oorlog tegen Iran en een oplaaiende burgeroorlog in Libanon, waar Israël zich in beide gevallen niet afzijdig zal houden…… Sterker nog: de kans dat Israël binnenkort Libanon weer (illegaal) zal aanvallen is levensgroot!

Benieuwd hoeveel de corrupte hufter al-Hariri heeft gekregen van de Saoedische dictatuur om op deze manier af te treden, het zal op zeker geen misselijk bedrag zijn voor één van zijn buitenlandse bankrekeningen……

* Een genocide waar ook de VS en Groot-Brittannië aan meewerken……. Waar blijft het meer dan lamme Internationaal Strafhof (ICC) met aanklachten tegen de deelnemende landen? Of wordt er alleen tegen genocides opgetreden als de daders niet VS gezind zijn….??? De vraag stellen is haar beantwoorden!

Ongelofelijk maar waar, de reguliere media in de VS zijn trots op het platbombarderen van de Syrische stad Raqqa door de luchtmacht van de VS…… Ondanks oproepen van de VN te stoppen met bombarderen van de stad om burgerslachtoffers te voorkomen, ging de VS gewoon door met haar ‘tapijtbombardementen’ op Raqqa, zoals de VS dat eerder deed met West-Mosul en in een verder verleden: Noord-Vietnam, Laos en Cambodja en nog verder terug op Duitse steden ten tijde van WOII……. Intussen zijn volgens voorzichtige schattingen 1.800 burgers vermoord in de illegale oorlog van de VS tegen Raqqa…….

Let wel: de VS is illegaal aanwezig in Syrië en voert in feite een illegale oorlog tegen het democratisch gekozen bewind Assad en de Syrische bevolking, een oorlog die deze grootste terreurentiteit op aarde al voorbereidde vanaf 2006……..

Dit alles zal de voornoemde media een zorg zijn, de VS heeft ingegrepen en laten zien wat er gebeurt als je de VS tart en zogenaamd een gevaar bent voor de VS……. Alsof de regering Assad en IS een direct gevaar zijn voor de VS….. Eén ding is zeker, met het platbombarderen van Raqqa heeft de VS terreurgroepen als IS niet uitgeschakeld, integendeel, de VS stimuleert terrorisme met haar terroristische buitenlandbeleid….. Al is dat natuurlijk ook de bedoeling, ofwel de geheime agenda: de winsten van het militair-industrieel complex varen er wel bij zoals een aantal weken terug bleek, toen werd bekendgemaakt dat de wapenindustrie in 2016 absolute recordwinsten heeft gemaakt………

Zoals al vaker vastgesteld op deze plek, de VS moet eindelijk eens worden aangeklaagd bij het Internationaal Strafhof (ICC) in Den Haag voor al haar vreselijke oorlogsmisdaden, waar het platbombarderen van Raqqa maar één onderdeel van is……..

Opvallend dat de reguliere westerse media buiten de VS het platbombarderen van Raqqa niet eens noemen………. Ach ‘opvallend?’ Het maakt niet uit wat de VS doet, zelfs voor het bombarderen van ziekenhuizen is of geen aandacht, of men vergoelijkt e.e.a. door een niet bestaand excuus te verzinnen…..

(ANTIMEDIA) — America’s illegal
war in
the Syrian city of Raqqa has already killed over 1,800
civilians, according to
the monitoring group Airwars. At the time the offensive was launched
in June, the U.S. was
aware that
some 200,000 civilians were trapped. In that first week of operations
alone, the U.N. accused the
Trump administration of killing 300 civilians in less than seven
days’ worth of bombing.

This
trend has continued over the course of the last few months, and as
one might imagine, Syrian infrastructure has been completely
decimated. Rather than label this assault for what it is — namely,
a grave crime against humanity encompassing an endless supply of
potential war crimes — the media appears to have chosen a different
tack.

“Looking
at photographs of the ruined, desolate streets of what was once the
Islamic State’s capital of Raqqa is a reminder of the overwhelming,
pitilessly effective military power of the United
States,” wrote the Washington
Post’s David
Ignatius in an op-ed published Thursday.

That
was merely the opening sentence. Ignatius continued:

“The
heaps of rubble in Raqqa that once housed terrorists and torturers
convey a bedrock lesson, as valid now as in 1945: It’s
a mistake to provoke the United States. It
may take the country a while to respond to a threat, but once the
machine of U.S. power is engaged, it’s relentless — so long as
the political will exists to sustain it.” [emphasis
added]

Who
exactly provoked the United States here? The people who have been
hardest hit are clearly civilians who happened to live in Raqqa. What
crime did these people commit?

And
if Ignatius is referring solely to the terror group ISIS, at what
stage did ISIS “provoke” the U.S.? If anything, ISIS was quite
content trying to topple the governments of Iraq and Syria and set up
their own Islamic caliphate back in 2014. That is why the Syrian
government has been so heavily
involved in
fighting ISIS over the last few years: ISIS directly threatens its
territory. Somehow, the U.S. found itself embroiled in yet another
Middle Eastern conflict that didn’t directly affect the U.S.
government or its people.

Nevertheless,
Russia used this opportunity to turn the tables against the U.S.
after western media lambasted Russia’s
assault on Aleppo at the end of last year. On
Sunday, Russia accused the
U.S.-led coalition in Syria of wiping the city of Raqqa “off the
face of the earth” with carpet bombing similar to what the United
States and Britain did to Germany in 1945.

However,
unlike the U.S., Russia had a legal
basis to
begin its military operations within the country, whether or not it
committed war crimes in the process.

David
Ignatius is right about one thing and one thing only – the media is
almost all but silent on what is going on in Raqqa. However, Ignatius
wrongly attributes this to the “inevitable nature of American
force” that has prompted so little discussion. In reality, it’s
likely this topic isn’t being discussed because of the numerous
illegalities surrounding it.

The
people of Raqqa won’t forget what the U.S. has illegally done to
their homes. In July, one witness told Reuters he
found several of his neighbors dead on the street. Cats were eating
their bodies. It later emerged that
American-led airstrikes were wiping out entire families. This is not
how you defeat terrorism. This is how you perpetuate it.

Corporate
media would do well to separate itself from this violent and
grotesque criminal behavior, yet it continues to endorse it.
If RT released
op-eds that glorified Russian crimes to the extent that western media
is doing right now, the Washington
Post would
have a field day.

This
is not the hallmark of an independent press, but rather, one that
serves horrifyingly violent policies. An independent media would
question both Russia’s and America’s roles in the Middle East,
objectively distinguish between the two, and demand both entities be
held accountable for failing to protect civilians when that evidence
arises.

All
that being said, Airwars has more
or less put its monitoring of
Russian airstrikes on hold this year as the U.S. has continued to
surpass Russia in its civilian death toll by a long shot.

Thijs Bouwknecht (NIOD) zet vraagtekens bij tribunalen en ICC

Thijs Bouwknecht, een NIOD-onderzoeker gaat op 20 oktober promoveren (zo gaat dat tegenwoordig, je moet het wel heel bont maken in je proefschrift, wil je niet promoveren).

In zijn proefschrift stelt Bouwknecht dat tribunalen te hoge verwachtingen wekken, daar het uiterst moeilijk is ernstige misdaden te bewijzen, zoals die in Rwanda werden begaan (1994).

Bouwknecht past zijn mening ook toe op het Internationaal Strafhof (ICC). Precies daar gaat hij de fout in, immers er zijn stapels bewijzen dat de VS op grote schaal terreur brengt over delen van de wereld zoals in het Midden-Oosten.

De makke is dan ook, dat westerse landen nooit aangeklaagd worden bij het ICC…… Hoewel? Het Joegoslavië tribunaal kon wel een westers land vervolgen, waar dan meteen bij aangetekend moet worden, dat men de enorme oorlogsmisdaden van de NAVO landen tegen Joegoslavië niet onderzocht, misdaden die zelfs groot terug te vinden zijn in het verdrag van Genève, zoals het bombarderen van burgerdoelen……..

Voorts stelde Bouwknecht dat hij wat betreft de toekomst positief is: het aantal conflicten neemt af en getuigenissen worden nu overal opgetekend……… ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Ja, behalve als het misdaden van de VS en andere NAVO landen betreft, dan zijn de reguliere westerse (massa-) media niet te vinden en lees of hoor je er alleen over op de sociale media, die godbetert worden beschuldigd van het brengen van ‘fake news…….’ Intussen heeft de VS alleen deze eeuw al meer dan 2 miljoen mensen vermoord in illegale oorlogen, veelal met hulp van de NAVO……. Ondanks dat enorme aantal moorden werd deze grootste terreurentiteit op aarde (de VS), niet aangeklaagd en zal deze vereniging van terreurstaten niet aangeklaagd worden….. Uiteraard geldt hetzelfde voor andere NAVO landen, die de VS militair steunden in haar vreselijke terreur……

Het aantal conflicten neemt misschien af, maar het aantal doden dat in ‘conflicten’ valt, is enorm gegroeid (wat betreft de VS: ‘conflicten’ >> illegale oorlogen)…… Het schijnt dat onder Trump intussen al meer burgers zijn vermoord, dan onder Obama in 2 termijnen……. (Obama, u weet wel: de valse vredesduif)

De conclusie van Bouwknecht, dat tribunalen te hoge verwachtingen wekken, klopt inderdaad, maar hoe kan het ook anders, als andere landen die onevenredige veel grotere terreur uitoefenen en waarvoor NB een enorme bewijslast voorhanden is, niet eens worden onderzocht door het ICC, laat staan dat ze daar worden aangeklaagd…….. (ander ‘mooi voorbeeld’: Saoedi-Arabië dat met behulp van de VS en Groot-Brittannië, een genocide uitvoert in Jemen…)

Bouwknecht gaat promoveren aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam, waar men beter nog even kan nadenken over deze promotie!

Mensen ‘ik wist niet wat ik hoorde’, toen verslaggever Alan Johnston gistermiddag rond 12.17 u. op BBC World Service verslag hoorde doen over (hij was in de BBC studio in Londen) de strijd in Raqqa (Syrië).

Nadat hij vertelde dat er in de zomer heftig was gevochten om Raqqa, vertelde deze zemelaar dat er veel burgerslachtoffers waren omgekomen bij de strijd…… Johnson deed geen moeite te vertellen waar het op stond: het merendeel van de burgerslachtoffers is vermoord met de bombardementen van de VS, tijdens welke zelfs de VN de VS had opgeroepen te stoppen met die bombardementen, iets dat de VS categorisch weigerde, precies zoals ze dit deed in West-Mosul………

Dan durft Nikki Haley in de VN landen als Iran, Syrië en Rusland  van agressie en buitensporig geweld te beschuldigen…….. Terwijl Rusland en Syrië zelfstandig 2 maanden voor de uiteindelijke bevrijding van Oost-Aleppo besloten te stoppen met bombarderen, juist om burgerslachtoffers zoveel mogelijk te voorkomen……… Iran beschuldigen is zo mogelijk nog zotter, alsof dit land de ene na de andere illegale oorlog begint, zoals de VS dit pleegt te doen, waarbij de VS ook nog eens terreurorganisaties als Al Qaida Syrië steunt en in het verleden zelfs IS heeft gesteund op een aantal manieren…….

Overigens heeft de VS alleen deze eeuw al meer dan 2 miljoen burgers vermoord met haar illegale oorlogen……..Te gek voor woorden dat het Internationaal Strafhof zelfs geen poging doet dit land en haar psychopathische leiders als Bush, Obama (plus zijn ministers van BuZa Clinton en Kerry), en nu weer Trump en zijn militaire junta voor de rechter in Den Haag te dagen….* Elke ‘succesvolle veroordeling’ van dit hof is in feite een schandvlek op dit meer dan partijdige orgaan……….. Begrijp me niet verkeerd: het is goed dat er oorlogsmisdadigers worden veroordeeld, maar het feit dat deze nooit uit de VS komen, NB de grootste terreurentiteit op aarde, is een gotspe!! (ook andere westerse landen die zich schuldig maken aan oorlogsmisdaden ontlopen de dans keer op keer, een uitzondering zijn de landen uit het voormalig Joegoslavië en dan m.n. Servië. Waar de NAVO zich NB schuldig maakte aan oorlogsmisdaden tegen dit voormalige onderdeel van Joegoslavië…)

* Uiteraard zou dit ook moeten gebeuren voor de grootschalige VS terreur voor het jaar 2000, zoals die o.a. werd uitgeoefend onder Reagan, Bush sr. en Clinton (de laatste met grote steun van massamoordenaar Albright als minister van Buitenlandse Zaken, waar de laatste zelfs geen probleem had met de dood van meer dan 500.000 Iraakse kinderen, middels een door haar geïnitieerde VS boycot van Irak….)……….

Concentratiekamp
Guantanamo Bay hongert gevangenen uit, o.a. om te voorkomen dat ze in hongerstaking gaan.

De VS houdt nu al meer dan 15 jaar mensen onder erbarmelijke omstandigheden vast in Guantanomo Bay. Mensen die worden verdacht van terreur, waarvan de meesten  niet eens zijn aangeklaagd, laat staan dat ze worden berecht…….. Zo bezien is Guantanamo Bay niets anders dan een smerig concentratiekamp…….. 

Voorgaande wordt nog versterkt door het beleid van de VS deze ‘verdachten’ uit te hongeren…… 

Shelby Sullivan-Bennis is de (mensenrechten-) advocaat voor Khalid Qasim, die na een (illegale) ontvoering door de VS, al 15 jaar zonder aanklacht illegaal wordt gegijzeld door diezelfde VS. Zij heeft de woorden  van Qassim opgetekend, die in onderstaand artikel van Information Clearing House werden gepubliceerd.

Deze mensen hebben er niet voor gekozen om te worden ontvoerd en gegijzeld door de VS, de grootste terreurentiteit op aarde….. Dit dient opgemerkt te worden, daar velen stellen, dat deze mensen er zelf voor kiezen telkens weer in hongerstaking te gaan, alsof het normaal is mensen zo te behandelen, alsof het normaal is dat men dit gelaten over zich laat komen………. 

Zoals al vaker gesteld op deze plek: het is de hoogste tijd dat de VS wordt aangeklaagd door het Internationaal Strafhof in Den Haag!! Dit wegens: oorlogsmisdaden als illegale oorlogsvoering, het strafrechtelijk executeren van verdachten (waarbij meer dan 90% van de slachtoffers vrouwen en kinderen zijn), martelen, ontvoeringen, gijzeling en andere mensenrechtenschendingen……. Hoe is het mogelijk dat de VS hier keer op keer mee wegkomt? Hoe is het mogelijk dat niemand in de VN hare VS kwaadaardigheid Haley keihard uitlacht als ze weer met smerige en uiterst doorzichtige leugens komt, zoals nu weer over Iran dat volgens deze ploert zelfs een gevaar zou zijn voor de VS, terwijl de VS de regio van Iran in de fik heeft gestoken en daar sinds 2001 al meer dan 2 miljoen mensen heeft vermoord………..

Clearing House” –  I haven’t had food in my stomach
for 23 days. The 20 September was the day they told us they would no
longer feed us. They have decided to leave us to waste away and die
instead.

I
am in so much pain every minute that I know it can’t go on much
longer. Now as each night comes, I wonder if I will wake up in the
morning. When will my organs fail? When will my heart stop? I am
slowly slipping away and no one notices.

There
is a man who is in charge of all the medical staff. I don’t know
his name but they call him the senior medical officer. He was the one
who called us all in and told us they would stop feeding us. As soon
as he took over I knew he was bad news and now he has decided to end
our lives.

I
started hunger strike because I was so frustrated, so depressed – I
have been locked up here so far from my family for 15 years. I have
never been charged with a crime and I have never been allowed to
prove my innocence. Yet I am still here. And now Donald Trump says
that none of us – the 26 “forever” prisoners who have
apparently committed no crime, but merit no trial – will ever leave
here so long as he is in charge.

Some
will say I brought the pain on myself. But how can that be? I did not
ask to be brought here. I did not do anything that justified being
kidnapped and hauled half way around the world. It is true that there
have been times when I thought I would be better off dead. This was
the only peaceful way I thought I could protest. What I really want,
for me and for the other men here, is justice. Certainly, I never
wanted to die in the pain I’m now in.

They
have stopped feeding us before but this time feels different. They
want to stop the hunger strike by any means. They keep repeating: if
you lose part of your body that is your choice; if you are damaged,
that is your choice. They intend to leave us until we lose a kidney
or another organ. They will wait until we are damaged. Maybe until we
are too damaged to live.

Just
over a week ago, on 29 September, I collapsed and they called a “code
yellow” – that’s what they call it. I’ve seen it before but
this is the first time the code has been for me. Still I got no
treatment. Still they continue to starve me. I can’t walk anymore.
My hip joints are swollen and it is too painful. I am so tired and so
weak.

The
worst thing is, the medical staff aren’t recording anything. They
don’t check how close I may be to death. The nurses are writing
nothing down. They don’t reply when I ask them if they’ve
recorded my missed meals. They should be there to care, but they
don’t care.

These
days have been the most terrifying of my 15 years in this place. We
are used to torture here but this is so slow and so cruel. The people
who are supposed to look after us are hurting us. I have been reduced
to pleading for my life. I am asking for anyone out there to talk
about what’s going on here. To ask why Trump is letting us slowly
die. I don’t have many days left.

  • These
    words were dictated by Khalid Qasim from Guantánamo Bay to his
    attorney, Shelby Sullivan-Bennis, of the human rights organization
    Reprieve. Khalid Qassim has been held at Guantánamo Bay for 15
    years. He has never been charged with a crime or had the chance to
    prove his innocence at trial. Khalid comes from a small town in
    Yemen and travelled to Afghanistan in search of work in 2000. He was
    detained by Afghan police and handed over the US forces in a case of
    mistaken identity. It emerged later that the US offered large
    financial incentives to local law enforcement to hand over Arab
    prisoners for interrogation.

De VN ondersteunt de VS, het Vierde Rijk……….

De VN is een verlengstuk geworden van de VS, dat je met het grootste gemak het Vierde Rijk kan noemen, gezien de ongeremde agressie en terreur die dit land over een flink deel van de wereld uitstort.

Wel vreemd, als je in ogenschouw neemt, dat de opvolgende VS regeringen en een groot deel van haar gehersenspoelde burgers vinden dat de VN de VS financieel leegzuigt……. Echter als je de geschiedenis van de VN bekijkt, zie je dat de VN keer op keer de terreur van de VS van een legitieme rand voorziet….

Het is intussen al zo zot, dat zelfs de vertegenwoordigingen van China en Rusland in de VN zich nog amper durven te verzetten tegen de ongebreidelde agressie van de VS, zie bijvoorbeeld de sancties die tegen Noord-Korea werden genomen……… Nogal wiedes dat Noord-Korea een atoomwapen wil hebben als bescherming tegen de VS, zeker als je ziet dat de VS dit land tijdens de Koreaanse oorlog volkomen heeft platgebombardeerd (men had op een geven moment geen doelen meer over om te bombarderen…)….

De schrijver van het volgende artikel (van Anti-Media, oorspronkelijk geplaatst op Consortium News), JP Sottile betoogt dat de VS  de VN gebruikt als een regering voor de wereld, een regering waarin de VS de dienst uitmaakt (en mocht die regering niet doen wat de VS wil, grijpt de VS zelf in waarna de VN alsnog haar goedkeuring geeft……..)….

Nooit werd de VS gestraft door de VN, behalve dan ‘een gevalletje mijnen leggen’ voor de havens van Nicaragua, waarvoor de VS alleen werd veroordeeld in de VN, maar niet werd gestraft…… Nu komt de VS zelfs weg met illegale oorlogen en duizenden (illegale) standrechtelijke executies, waarbij meer dan 90% van de vermoorde slachtoffers, veelal vrouwen en kinderen, niet eens werden verdacht…… Het Internationaal Strafhof in Den Haag is te schijterig om ook maar één zaak tegen de VS te beginnen……. Vergeet niet dat de VS sinds het eind van WOII meer dan 22 miljoen mensen ongestraft heeft kunnen vermoorden……

the United Nations Supports the American Empire

For
decades the American Right has decried the U.N. for encroaching on
American sovereignty, but the truth is that the U.N. is a chief U.S.
accomplice in violating the sovereignty of other nations, notes J.P.
Sottile.

(CN) — President
Trump opened his big United Nations week … and his famous mouth …
with a predictable
plug for
one of his properties and some
playful glad-handing with
French President Emmanuel Macron. Trump also scolded the
U.N.’s unwieldy scrum for “not living up to its potential.” He
made a passing reference to the U.N.’s wasteful use of American
money. And he called for “reform” of
the much-maligned international
forum.

It
was a stolid
prelude to
what will no doubt be “must-see” TV when he speaks to the UN
General Assembly on
Tuesday about North Korea and Iran. And it was a far cry from the way
America’s leading “America Firster” spent the
campaign lamenting
how unfair the U.N.
is to the poor schlemiel we call Uncle Sam.

He
is likely to use his speech to throw a little bit of that same red
meat to his base, but his call for reform falls well short of
what his
supporters want …
which is an abrupt end of U.S. involvement in the international body.
They are motivated by a grab-bag of reasons that point to the U.N.
being a threat to their guns, their bank accounts and their God-given
freedom.

Oddly
enough, these conspiratorial narratives have been around for decades
and they mostly center on a grand plan by U.N. elites to abscond
American sovereignty and dissolve the U.S. into a U.N.-led world
government. And the evidence of this is the way the U.N. harasses and
restricts Uncle Sam while siphoning-off America’s wealth. At least,
that’s what some think.

Most
ominously, many object to the way U.N. funds are being used to
quietly deploy gun-grabbing
U.N. soldiers in
advance of the
big takeover.
But like so much of Trump’s intoxicating
irredentism …
this is a grievance more likely rooted in a three-day meth bender in
a Tallahassee trailer park than it is from shocking evidence gathered
from well-traveled observation. It’s paranoia. But really, it’s
worse than that.

Why?
Because the U.N. has basically been the complete opposite of what its
angriest critics claim. It is not out to get the U.S. Rather, it has
largely been America’s tool since its inception and, in particular,
it has repeatedly covered Uncle Sam’s overly-exposed butt as he
(a.k.a. “the royal we”) has gone around the world on a three
decade-long military bender since the end of the Cold War.

Yes,
the Gulf War was U.N. approved and the whole world got behind it
because (April
Glaspie’s backstory notwithstanding)
the prima
facie case
was strong and it was a fairly clear-cut example of unwarranted
aggression. That was an easy call.

Global
Violence

But
since then, the calls have been nothing short of murky as the U.S.
has bombed and droned and deployed and invaded and covertly-acted and
regime-changed all around the globe. And the unspoken truth is that
the United Nations has been America’s all-too silent partner as
Uncle Sam traipsed around the planet with a loaded gun, remote
control assassination machines and paper-thin rationales for
intervention.

Although
the U.N. occasionally puts a bug up Israeli Prime Minister
Bibi Netanyahu’s ass on the issue of the slow-motion ethnic
cleansing in the West Bank … what other issue is there where the
U.N. has taken a real stand against the U.S. or U.S. policy
objectives?

Where
is the U.N.’s punishment for being lied to by then-Secretary of
State Colin Powell?  And where is the punishment for destroying
a bystander nation under false pretenses? Where is the punishment for
Abu Ghraib or Gitmo?

Where
is the punishment for America’s summary execution of “suspected
militants” around the Muslim world simply because they are of
“military age” and in the wrong place at the right time … and
for the CIA, it is always the right time to kill a suspect no matter
how wrong the place many be. And where is the condemnation of
America’s destabilizing role as the world’s
leading supermarket of military hardware?

How
about mounting civilian causalities from an ever-widening widening
bombing campaign? The U.N. can say the killings are “unacceptable,”
but does it really matter if there is no sanction? There haven’t
been any sanctions after children were killed in a “U.S.-backed
raid”
in Somalia.  Go figure, right?

Or
what about America’s complicity in the catastrophe of Yemen? Where
are those sanctions? And what exactly has the U.N. done to punish any
number of extra-legal maneuver by a succession of American presidents
over the course of the “Global War on Terror”? The simple answer
is nothing.

Instead,
the Secretary General is largely beholden to the disproportionate
influence of the United States. The Security Council’s agenda is
basically set by the United States … and that’s particularly true
since the Soviet Union collapsed. At the same time, the U.N.’s
occasionally contentious debates do little more than offer the
imprimatur of international approbation or well-noted disdain despite
the functionally inconsequential nature of those debates.

Either
way it is a win for Uncle Sam because the presence of a neutered
United Nations provides the United States with a fig leaf just big
enough to cover the dangly parts of America’s otherwise naked
empire.

The
money that does go from the U.S. Treasury into the minutia around the
margins … like UNESCO programs and United Nations Development
Program (UNDP) and the World Health Organization (WHO) and all the
other little crumbs that get thrown around the world … these are
payoffs. This is what the world gets for mostly keeping its mouth
shut in the face of America’s globe-spanning empire. The tiny
amount of aid that trickles down past the bureaucracy … much like
the bureaucracy itself … is not an example of America “getting
played” by wasteful foreigners with hidden agendas. This is America
paying to play the world like organ grinder with a hurdy-gurdy
monkey.

Frankly,
the “28.5%
of the overall peacekeeping bill”
that Trump calls “unfair” (about
$2.2 billion of the $3.3 billion the U.S. gives to the UN annually)
is a pittance … particularly if you want the unchecked right to
tell Persians what they can and cannot do in the Persian Gulf, to
tell the Chinese what they can and cannot build in the South China
Sea, and to tell every other power on the face of the earth why they
cannot have the same nuclear capability America not only has … but
is currently “upgrading” to
the tune of $1.5 trillion.

Even
more amazingly, the U.S. wants to deny these nations the only real
insurance policy against U.S.-led regime change. And why is that?
Because there ain’t a Curveball’s chance
in Hell that the U.N. will ever be able to stop Uncle Sam from
marching where he wants, when he wants and for whatever reason he
wants to cook-up. That’s a historically
provable fact.

The
only real check on U.S. power is the ability of an asymmetrical power
to go nuclear. And let’s admit it, they are ALL asymmetrical powers
when compared to America’s gargantuan, trillion-dollar
national security beast.
And this is why the U.N.’s “partnership” with
International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is the only U.N.-associated
agency that really matters. They can’t do much, but they can throw
a wrench into another WMD snipe hunt … like
they are doing now with the Iran Nuclear Deal.

But
like it was tested by Team Bush, the IAEA is going to be tested again
as Trump and Netanyahu make
their bogus case …
without a hint of irony … that Iran is the world’s greatest
threat. But that’s really just par for a course that’s riddled
with falsified flags haphazardly stuck into the shallow holes of a
back nine that’s actually been built by and for a club-wielding
Uncle Sam.

A
Cult of Grievance

And
therein lies the truly pernicious part of the Trumped-up case against
the U.N. … because, like so much of America’s growing cult of
grievance, it reflects an ever-widening gap between America’s
stated ideals and its self-serving behavior around the world.


As
we are learning almost daily, Americans tried to square that circle
by electing a profligate liar who fully embodies America’s
insatiable desire to take credit, particularly where none is due …
and to outsource the blame to scapegoats like the U.N., particularly
when the only alternative is a long look into the mirror.

And
in the case of the U.N., that projected guilt is in spite of the fact
that it is often tasked with quietly cleaning up some of the
collateral damage wrought by their main accuser. They just have to do
so without any real power or the funds to do the job. That’s the
simple truth you won’t hear in Trump’s speech … or any speech,
for that matter.

It’s
the fact that the U.N.’s meager amount of “wasteful spending”
doesn’t even begin to cover the cost of doing business when your
business depends of paying the world to look the other way while you
get away with murder.

VS bombardementen op Raqqa moorden hele families uit……….

De volgende artikelen komen van Anti-Media en ANTIWAR, in het eerste schrijft Darius Shahtahmasebi over de luchtaanvallen van de VS op Raqqa en de steun aan de reli-fascistische dictatuur in Saoedi-Arabië, die in het buurland Jemen een genocide uitvoert op de sjiitische bevolking van dat land……… Overigens bombardeert de VS bij tijd en wijle ook doelen in Jemen, dit nog buiten de terroristische drone aanvallen van de VS op verdachten in dat land, aanvallen waarbij meer dan 90% van de slachtoffers niet eens verdacht is (veelal vrouwen en kinderen…)… Jammer dat Shahtahmasebi dit niet noemt in zijn artikel.

In Raqqa heeft de VS hele families uitgemoord, middels haar barbaarse bombardementen…… Uiteraard zijn daar een groot aantal kinderen omgekomen….. De reguliere westerse media en het grootste deel van de westerse politici schreeuwen moord en brand, bij het eerste gerucht dat er kinderen zijn omgekomen bij bombardementen van het Syrische leger of de Russen, echter als er bij wijze van spreken stapels lijken van kinderen liggen, lijken van kinderen die wel bewezen door VS terreur zijn omgekomen, of zijn vermoord in dergelijke acties van haar bondgenoten, doet men er in het westen meestal het zwijgen toe……

Het is meer dan duidelijk dat de reguliere westerse (massa-) media liever ‘fake news’ brengen, dan de waarheid te vertellen….. Zo was de hysterie in diezelfde media (en bij die politici) enorm tijdens de bevrijding van Oost-Aleppo door het reguliere Syrische leger en de Russen, waar men de leugens van de ‘gematigde rebellen’ (lees: psychopathische moordenaars en verkrachters), verwoord door het SOHR en de White Helmets, als waarheid oplepelde…..

Dit terwijl diezelfde Russen en Syriërs al 2 maanden voor de uiteindelijke bevrijding van Aleppo besloten te stoppen met luchtbombardementen, dit om zoveel mogelijk burgerslachtoffers te voorkomen….. Iets dat amper of meestal niet de westerse massamedia haalde….. Dezelfde media die nu niet melden, dat de VS de oproep van meerdere landen en VN inspecteurs heeft genegeerd, oproepen te stoppen met het bombarderen van Raqqa, ook dit om zoveel mogelijk burgerslachtoffers te voorkomen……

Mad dog Mattis, de psychopaat die onder Trump minister van Defensie mag spelen, zei nadat een VN inspecteur van oorlogsmisdaden de VS waarschuwde voor de vele doden die het maakt in Raqqa en de VS regering opriep te stoppen met het bombarderen van het dicht bewoonde Raqqa: “Zo is het leven…..” Daarmee gaf hij aan er niet aan te denken te stoppen met die bombardementen……..

Shahtahmasebi spreekt ook nog over Amnesty International, lullig genoeg is AI niet te vertrouwen als het om Syrie gaat, ook zij hebben zich in het recente verleden verlaten op rapporten van het SOHR en de bewezen terroristische White Helmets. Dat AI nu eindelijk ook de VS aanklaagt voor oorlogsmisdaden (die wel bewezen kunnen worden) is hooguit een verbetering te noemen……..

Zoals al vaker op deze plek gevraagd: waarom wordt de VS niet aangeklaagd voor het Internationaal Strafhof?? Een land en de verantwoordelijken (inclusief Obama) aanklagen voor grootschalige oorlogsmisdaden (zoals het bombarderen van burgerdoelen en ziekenhuizen), kan ook zonder dat zo’n land het Strafhof erkent!! Uiteraard zal ook de reguliere westerse pers eindelijk eens met de waarheid op de voorpagina’s moeten komen, echter de kans daarop is uiterst klein……….

U.S.
Airstrikes Are Wiping Out Entire Families in Yemen and Syria

(ANTIMEDIA Op-ed) — The
United States is killing entire families in Raqqa, Syria, and
enabling Saudi Arabia to do the same in Yemen.

In
June of this year, the U.S. led a campaign to retake the city of
Raqqa from ISIS fighters while the Russian and Syrian militaries were
also attempting to
do the same thing. In the first week of fighting, U.N. war crimes
investigators warned that
the U.S. had already killed 300 civilians from air strikes alone in
that seven day period.

Rather
than heed that warning, the U.S. has continued the same strategy of
pounding Raqqa into the ground despite the likelihood of civilian
casualties. Pentagon chief James “Mad Dog”
Mattis has dismissed this
horror as a mere “fact of life” — a very easy decision to make
when the fighting doesn’t concern one’s own relatives. Not to
mention that Donald Trump relaxed the
rules surrounding air strikes earlier this year, meaning military
generals on the ground (including Iraqi
forces,
for example) can call in airstrikes from the ground with zero
oversight.

The
result, the Intercept reports,
is that entire families are being massacred by U.S.-led air strikes.

“We
have seen incidents in which entire families have been wiped out. The
scale of things is increasing significantly,” said
Alex Hopkins, a researcher at AirWars.

According
to Hopkins, there has been a “worrying increase in the rate
of mass casualty incidents” in recent weeks, and
disproportionate numbers of children are being reported killed in
U.S.-led air strikes.

As
the Intercept noted,
Raqqa is home to very few die-hard ISIS supporters who are fighting
to the death to defend its de-facto capital, whereas
an estimated 160,000
civilians remain trapped in the crossfire of the city’s fighting.

The Intercept also
spoke to witnesses and activists by phone who explained incidents of
widespread civilian deaths at the hands of U.S. air strikes. These
activists oppose ISIS and are based in Raqqa, according to
the Intercept,
and their identities remain confidential.

“The
planes hit the street where he [father] was walking to go home. There
were no ISIS members or headquarters in that street, my father was
only 50 meters from home. I wished that he had hurried home that
night, but he was too old and it took him time,” one
activist said of his father’s death in June.

Drawing
on research from Amnesty International and Airwars,
the Intercept describes many other instances in
which entire families were wiped out:

“For
instance, a coalition airstrike in Raqqa City on August 14 killed a
mother, Nahla Hamoud Al-Aran al-Shehab, and her
three children, Marwa,
Ahmed, and Mariam. Three days later, another strike killed 30
members of
the al-Sayer family, including several children. On August 21, yet
another attack killed eight members of
the Al-Aliwi family, internally displaced refugees who had previously
fled from fighting in their home city of Palmyra.

“Amnesty
International researchers also visited a farmhouse in the
Hukumya-Salhiya area northwest of Raqqa, where 14
people were reportedly killed in a coalition attack before the
campaign to take the city officially began.
Amnesty found fragments of GPS-guided American munitions, and judged
that ‘from the pattern of destruction there seems little doubt that
the house was destroyed by air strikes.’” [emphasis
added]

In
its most recent report,
Amnesty International also explains a scenario in which one Syrian
lost her mother, sisters, nephews and nieces “for no reason at
all.”

“The
planes were circling all night, and we could not even approach the
house to get the two injured children out from under the rubble until
the following day,” said
another member of the family who witnessed the attack. “The
bodies were in shreds. We recovered body parts hundreds of meters
away.”

Up
until the beginning of June, the U.S. only had
two personnel investigating
casualties in Iraq and Syria full-time. As the Intercept notes,
the U.S. military rarely conducts interviews with survivors and
regularly discounts the majority of reports on civilian deaths as
“non-credible.” This makes it incredibly difficult to verify the
exact number of civilian deaths, but it also demonstrates America’s
shockingly non-existent commitment to international law. The U.S.
military may boast that it takes the utmost care to protect
civilians, but are we just supposed to take their word for it?

One
should also bear in mind that when Amnesty International
releases evidence condemning
a U.S. arch rival, such as Bashar al-Assad in Syria, the U.S.
government jumps
all over it.
When the tables turn, suddenly these reports of civilian deaths are
“non-credible.”

And
make no mistake – as horrifying as the terror being inflicted on
Raqqa is, what is occurring in Raqqa right now is not
taking place in isolation.
The U.S. is delivering this disturbing criminality all over the
world. In Yemen, the Saudi-led coalition, which is armed,
trained, and protected by
the United States and the United Kingdom, is doing the exact same
thing.

A
recent airstrike in Yemen saw an entire family murdered; only one
four-year-old girl survived. The New
York Times reported the
story with the headline “Young Yemen Girl Is Sole Survivor After
Airstrike Topples Her Home.” The word “topple” suggests an NFL
sports-like scenario. In comparison, when reporting on Russia’s
bombing of Aleppo in 2016, the New
York Times regularly
used terms like “scorch”
and “brutal,”
words that were conveniently not employed this time around.

Just
days ago, the Saudi-led coalition struck
a hotel near
Yemen’s capital, killing at least 60 people with two dead bodies
hanging from the upper floor. These kinds of attacks seem to be
occurring daily, and no
target is off-limits for
the coalition.

The
U.S. has already been
warned that
its support for the war in Yemen could attract serious legal
consequences, and despite this, Yemen is clearly not the only
location where the U.S. is rolling out this criminal strategy.

One
of Trump’s campaign pledges was that he would not only bomb the
shit out of ISIS via attacking their oil fields but that
he would
kill their families too.
Even if every single family member documented above was related in
some way, shape, or form to a member of ISIS, these acts are still
legally and morally repugnant and should be condemned in the
strongest terms. As such, the only evidence at hand shows these
civilians were completely innocent, which makes their deaths wholly
inexcusable — particularly when they occur on such a large scale.

Unfortunately,
one can’t rely on the mass media or governmental institutions to do
their job and hold their militaries to account, especially when the
media is more concerned with what Trump tweets as opposed to how many
hundreds of children he is killing in the Middle East.

In
that regard, it is probably quite time for the media to review its
priorities.

US Killing Hundreds of Civilians in Syria’s Raqqa

(ANTIWAR.COM) — Heavy US airstrikes in densely populated residential areas have, throughout the ISIS war, proven a recipe for massive civilian casualties. This is increasingly the prevailing theme in the ISIS capital of Raqqa, where US strikes are killing many hundreds of civilians.

Earlier this week, at least 100 civilians were killed in a span on 48 hours in Raqqa. Observers put the figure at 168 in the past 10 days, and 458 in US airstrikes against the city since June, including 134 children.

These strikes are meant to support the Kurdish invasion of Raqqa, but the fact that they are pounding residential districts in a war-torn city means that a lot of what they’re hitting are buildings packed with civilian bystanders.

The Pentagon has continued the defend the practice, insisting they are the most careful military in history about civilian casualties, and pointing to their own official bodycounts, which are usually less than 10% of the number documented by NGOs.

Perhaps even more importantly, these strikes really aren’t doing much to support the Kurdish invasion, as the Kurdish forces have been described as holding about 45% of the city for the last several weeks, and despite a marked increase in US strikes and civilian deaths, don’t seem to be making any progress.

The UN is even pushing the US to halt its airstrikes against the city indefinitely, saying another 20,000 civilians should be allowed to flee without fearing being a target of US airstrikes. There is, as yet, no indication that is being seriously considered.

Afgelopen week doodde de Filipijnse politie voor de zoveelste keer een groot aantal mensen die worden verdacht van drugsgebruik dan wel drugshandel (en nee, niet de verslaafden en verkopers aan/van de gevaarlijkste harddrug, die het individu, diens omgeving en de maatschappij in het geheel, de meeste schade berokkent: alcohol…..)…

Bij deze standrechtelijke executies (nogmaals: van verdachten) werd ook een 17 jarige jongen vermoord, die zou ‘verzet hebben gepleegd bij zijn arrestatie……’ In werkelijkheid sleepten ‘politieagenten’ (fascistische psychopaten) de jongen in een steeg en executeerden hem ter plekke……..

Waar blijft onze regering en dan in het bijzonder PvdA oetlul Koenders en de grijnzende VVD opperhufter Rutte, met: -hun commentaar, -het uitwijzen van de Filipijnse ambassadeur en -de eis om actie van de VN???? Ach ja, de handelsbelangen gaan nog immer ver voor op mensenrechtenschendingen en massamoorden, tenzij het landen betreft waarmee de VS in de clinch ligt, dan durft Koenders wel z’n zwetsklep open te trekken (de VS ligt in de clinch met deze regeringen van meestal armere landen, daar ze niet één op één doen wat de VS eist). Tijd voor een handelsmissie met het belastingvretende koningshuis richting Filipijnen…….

Waarom heeft het Internationaal Strafhof in Den Haag niet al lang een arrestatiebevel uitgevaardigd voor de fascistische hoofdschoft en moordenaar Duterte?? Duterte, godbetert president van de Filipijnen en promotor van de massamoord op onschuldige mensen………
