Na een
bijna wereldwijde verontwaardiging over de VS overheid die
vluchtelingenkinderen van hun ouders scheidde, dacht men dat dit niet
meer gebeurde. De regelmatige lezer van dit blog zou kunnen weten dat
dit niet zo is en nu komt Matt Nelson van Presente.org met een
petitie om nu eindelijk een eind te maken aan deze zeer inhumane
behandeling, die je zelfs kan aanduiden als mensen- en
kinderrechtenschendingen….. Sterker nog: dit is een zware
overtreding van het VN Vluchtelingenverdrag, maar daar schijnt men in
het westen lak aan te hebben (zie de meer dan schunnige Turkije deal,
waar vooral de reli-fascistische psychopaat Erdogan en zijn dievenclub fiks van hebben geprofiteerd…..)
Nelson noemt e.e.a. terecht zelfs een vorm van marteling, geestelijke marteling wel te verstaan, een marteling die bij de ouders en kinderen ook fysieke klachten zal genereren!! Verder is het zeker dat deze scheding voor kinderen een enorm trauma is, een trauma waar ze hun leven lang mee zullen kampen……

de deplorabele stand van zaken in detentiecentra die eerder al werden
vergeleken met concentratiekampen….. Het zal je duidelijk zijn dat wanneer het Coronavirus toeslaat in deze ‘detentiecentra’, de ramp niet is te overzien……
Vanaf 19 december 2019 werden 1.100 kinderen van hun ouders gescheiden en werden gedeporteerd naar deze ‘detentiecentra’ waar ze op matten moeten slapen, direct op de koude betonnen vloer…. Daarnaast zijn veel kinderen onderworpen geweest aan seksueel misbruik, ofwel deze kinderen zijn slachtoffer van zware terreur opgelegd door de overheid van de VS en afgedwongen door de fascistoïde psychopathische Trump administratie ……. (de VS, het land van ‘de ongekende mogelijkheden’, in negatieve zin wel te verstaan……)
Geeft het door beste bezoeker,
de allerhoogste tijd dat men in het westen ontwaakt uit de VS-coma en
ziet waar dit land werkelijk voor staat: grootschalige terreur in
binnen- en buitenland! (helaas kunnen wij de petitie niet tekenen)

Despite the ‘official’ end to
family separation, migrant
children are still being ripped from their families.
As of December 2019, at
least 1,100 children have been taken and forced into dangerous and
inadequate facilities where they are subjected to sleep on mats on
cold floors, care for younger children, and suffered well-documented
cases of sexual abuse.1
Many families fled their native
countries with legitimate threats of violence to themselves and their
children, and hoped for safety upon reaching the United States.
Instead, children were torn from their parents’ arms, in most cases
with no explanation at all.2 Families were
then lied to and told their children were going to receive medical
care. When parents understandably expressed distress, many were
ridiculed by detention center staff and border patrol.3
Detention center conditions are
dangerous and inhumane by design and if the coronavirus spreads
inside a facility it could be catastrophic. Not
only are families facing post-traumatic stress related to torture,
they’re now at high risk of being infected by COVID-19.
In a new report published
by Physicians for Human Rights (PHR), a nonprofit of medical
professionals who investigate human rights abuses, physicians found
that family separation at the border rises to the level of torture.4
The psychological effects of family separation include trouble
eating, sleeping, anxiety, and nightmares –– just to name a few. All of these symptoms
are consistent with post-traumatic stress related to torture.
Additionally, this report shows
that in practically every case investigated by PHR, parents
and children will need ongoing therapeutic support — specifically,
trauma-focused psychotherapy, removal from detention, and psychiatric
medications.
Afgelopen maandag werd de 13 jarige Yassin Hussein Moyo doodgeschoten door de politie, dit tijdens het handhaven van de avondklok…… Er waren rellen gaande op straat vanwege het extreme geweld dat de Keniaanse politie in Nairobi hanteert tijdens het handhaven van regels als de avondklok tijdens de Coronacrisis…..
De Moeder van Yassin had hem en zijn kleinere broertjes en zusjes naar boven gestuurd vanwege de rellen op straat, toen de jongen op het balkon van het huis dodelijk werd getroffen door een politiekogel……
Geen wonder dat daarna de vlam geheel en al in de pan sloeg en de politie als reactie nog harder optrad….. Door het ongebreidelde politiegeweld is intussen ook een volwassen man omgekomen toen hij door agenten werd aangevallen…….
Dit was afgelopen donderdag in het BBC World Service nieuws (radio) te horen, benieuwd wat er intussen weer is gepasseerd in Kenia en Nairobi in het bijzonder……..
Beetje bvreemde kop beste bezoeker, immers illegale sancties zijn altijd sadistisch en barbaars zoals je zo zal lezen…..
Waar men
in de wereld poogt saamhorigheid te kweken om zo het Coronavirus te
kunnen bestrijden, blijft de VS landen als Iran, Venezuela en Cuba (plus
nog 27 andere landen) illegaal sanctioneren, zodat men daar grote
problemen heeft om het Coronavirus te bestrijden…… Zo overlijden er onnodig veel
mensen als gevolg van een tekort aan medicatie en medische apparatuur aan het Coronavirus, dan wel zullen overlijden aan wat men
COVID-19 is gaan noemen……
de VS is
zo onbeschoft dat het een luchtbrug heeft geopend met China en daar
grote hoeveelheden (grondstoffen voor ) medicijnen weghaalt en toch
handhaaft deze terreurentiteit de sancties tegen China…… ‘Leuk
ook dat dit in de reguliere westerse media wordt gemeld…..’ (niet
dus!)
De
fascistische psychopaat Trump durft openlijk te zeggen dat de
sancties niet opgaan voor zaken die de volksgezondheid in zo’n land
zullen schaden, terwijl ze dat wel degelijk doen! Sterker nog: er zijn in Venezuela al meer dan 40.000 mensen overleden door
VS sancties en ik vrees dat ook in Iran de cijfers niet veel lager
zullen zijn…. Let wel: ik spreek over doden die vóór de
Coronacrisis zijn gevallen, ofwel het aantal doden zal door deze
crisis nog veel verder stijgen…..
De G20 durfde te stellen dat het van het grootste belang is dat we onderling solidair moeten zijn en dat internationale samenwerking van het grootste belang is, terwijl de VS zelfs de sancties tegen de armste landen niet wil opheffen…….. Waar deze illegale sancties zoals gezegd in Venezuela al voor de Coronacrisis 40.000 slachtoffers het leven hebben gekost…… Illegale sancties opgelegd door de grootste terreurentiteit op onze kleine aarde: de VS!! Ofwel die 40.000 doden bohoren tot de zoveelste massamoord die de VS deze eeuw heeft gepleegd, waar de teller door illegaal VS optreden nu op ruim meer dan 2,5 miljoen dodelijke slachtoffers staat….. Waar Nederland middels militairen en ons belastinggeld ook een grafsteen of 100 (naar schatting) aan heeft bijgedragen…….. (en dat in landen waar het westen niets te zoeken heeft!!!)

Dozens of U.S. government-chartered flights have begun to airlift
vital medical equipment and supplies from China to the U.S. as the
latter becomes the world’s biggest case load of infections from the
novel coronavirus. There are grim forecasts for the number of deaths
in the U.S. as the pandemic is weeks from peaking there.
China is cooperating
with the U.S. in organizing the massive medical transfer, naturally
of course, given the humanitarian crisis. You would think therefore
that a little reciprocation would be in order from Washington. After
all, China is one of those foreign countries that the U.S. has
imposed sanctions on over alleged human rights violations. Would it
not behove the U.S. to show a bit of solidarity and gratitude by
dropping its sanctions regime against China?
And not just China.
There are are some 30 countries and territories that currently sit on
a U.S. sanctions
list, mostly due to Washington’s accusations of human rights
violations. Some of the targeted nations have been under sanctions
for decades, such as Cuba, North Korea and Iran. Others have joined
the dubious club more recently, such as Russia, Yemen and Venezuela.
Surely at this
unprecedented time of a global pandemic threatening millions of human
beings regardless of nationality, it is time to show genuine
solidarity and compassion for others. The very idea of imposing
sanctions on other countries is not only anachronistic. It is utterly
barbaric.
In any case, U.S.
sanctions imposed unilaterally without the mandate of the UN Security
Council are arguably illegal. Even before the coronavirus outbreak
and its accompanying disease, Covid-19, the American deployment of
embargoes to disrupt commerce and trade of other countries could be
seen as reprehensible. Such measures are rightly judged to be
collective punishment of civilians which violates international law
and the UN Charter.
But now as countries
battle against an existential threat posed by the virus, the existing
U.S. sanctions can be seen as an abomination.
Iran is a particularly
poignant case. It has one of the highest infection rates in the world
with thousands of deaths in a matter of weeks. Yet the Trump
administration sees fit to not only maintain harsh sanctions on
Tehran, it has actually added
three more rounds of sanctions against Iran since the epidemic
occurred. The deaths in Iran are being multiplied by American policy.
The Trump
administration cynically claims that U.S. sanctions do not impede
humanitarian aid to Iran. The claim is beneath contempt. The
crippling sanctions imposed by Trump’s “maximum pressure”
policy virtually precludes Iran from making international financial
transactions, including for medicines. Moreover, the effect of
“secondary sanctions” means that many countries are intimidated
from doing business with Iran out of fear of U.S. reprisals.
Washington has blood
on its hands where any country is finding the fight against Covid-19
in any way more difficult. It already had blood on its hands from its
illegal sanctions. But what we have now is the grotesque picture of a
ghoulish, sadistic American government shamelessly showing its ugly
face at a time of global suffering.
At the G20 summit last
week – held by teleconference to avoid spreading coronavirus
infection – Russian President Vladimir Putin called
on the world to drop sanctions at this critical juncture. He said it
was imperative for all nations to have access to medicines and
equipment without financial restrictions. “It is a question of
whether people live or die,” he added.
Putin’s call for
discarding sanctions was backed by UN secretary-general Antonio
Guterres and other world leaders, including Chinese President Xi
Jinping.
In the end, however,
the G20 final joint statement
omitted any unanimous mention of sanctions. One suspects that the
U.S. – the world’s number-one serial abuser of sanctions –
pulled strings behind the scenes to pre-empt any move to banish such
measures of financial coercion. Not surprisingly, because financial
coercion (less politely, “terrorism”) is an instrumental weapon
for U.S. foreign policy, as much as its military intimidation of
other nations is.
Instead, what came out
of the G20 conference was a joint statement of vapid, disingenuous
rhetoric.
It opined: “Global
action, solidarity and international cooperation are more than ever
necessary to address this pandemic. We are confident that, working
closely together, we will overcome this. We will protect human life, restore
global economic stability, and lay out solid foundations for strong,
sustainable, balanced and inclusive growth.”
Just how does “global
solidarity” and “working closer together to protect human life”
translate into practical remedial action when Washington continues to
wield a veto over some of the poorest and weakest nations gaining
life-saving supplies?
If there were any
compassion or morality in Washington, it would immediately rescind
all its sanctions against other nations in recognition of common
humanity. But the hard-heartedness of Washington is unrelenting even
at a time of crisis and death. It is based on a self-righteousness
that is frightening in the scale of its hubris and hypocrisy.
A certain natural
“correction” is due for this endemic criminal mentality of
America’s ruling class. And one senses that the correction for its
systematic evildoing against fellow human beings is not going to pass
lightly.

Israeli forces on Thursday entered
a Palestinian village in the northern Jordan Valley to confiscate
materials designated to build a clinic to deal with the novel
coronavirus outbreak.
Officials from the Israeli Civil
Administration came to the village of Khirbet Ibziq with a military
escort, bulldozer and two trucks equipped with cranes on Thursday
morning to demolish community clinic and emergency housing, according
to Israeli human rights monitor Btselem.
The group reported that Israeli
officials seized poles and sheeting designated to form eight tents,
two for a field clinic, two for a mosque, and four for emergency
housing for people evacuated from their homes.
A power generator, as well as
supplies of sand, cement and cinder blocks to be used for the floor
of the tents, were also confiscated.
Btselem said the villagers were
building a first-aid community initiative to deal with the Covid-19
crisis which has paralyzed large parts of the southern West Bank.
There are 91 confirmed cases so far in the Palestinian territories,
with one death reported on Wednesday.
The
Jordan Valley covers an area of about 1.6 million dunams (1,600 km2)
and constitutes around 30 percent of the total occupied West Bank.
According to a previous government report, the Valley includes about
280,000 dunams of arable land, 50,000 of which are still used by
Palestinians and 27,000 by illegal Jewish settlers.

The
majority of the Jordan Valley is under full Israeli military control,
despite being within the West Bank. Meanwhile, at least 44 percent of

Waar
haalt de grofgraaitop van Twitter het gore lef vandaan om ten tijde
van een ernstige gezondheidscrisis accounts van een overheid te
verwijderen, terwijl het land op slot is vanwege het
Coronavirus….?? Je kan deze stap van Twitter dan ook niet anders beoordelen dan als smerige censuur, thuishorend in een dictatuur!!
Eens te
meer laat een instituut als Twitter het ware gezicht van de VS zien, dat van een duivel die het
slechtste voor heeft met de volkeren van landen die niet in het
VS gareel lopen…….. Daarmee geeft Twitter nogmaals aan dat het aan de hand van de Trump terreuradministratie loopt!

Why
is Twitter undermining Venezuela’s COVID-19 response?
In
the past week, Twitter has suspended the accounts of over 40
Venezuelan institutions, journalists and politicians, including the
Health Ministry and the Vice President (pictured above). Can you
imagine the uproar if Twitter had blocked the CDC or Vice President
Pence? Let’s
tell Twitter that it’s not okay to silence the Venezuelan
government when it is trying to respond to the coronavirus*.
Why
is Twitter silencing the voices of those in charge of Venezuela’s
COVID-19 response? On March 16, the same day the Venezuelan
government issued a nationwide shelter-at-home order to stem the
coronavirus infection rate, Twitter began systematically restricting
the accounts of Venezuelan ministries, politicians, journalists, and
institutions. At least 44 accounts were suspended and Twitter is
offering no answers.
The
suspended accounts include Vice President Delcy Rodriguez’s
personal @DrodriguezVen
and institutional @ViceVenezuela
accounts, as well as the Health Ministry, the Housing Ministry, the
Education Ministry and the Science Ministry. Rodriguez is leading the
government’s comprehensive response to the coronavirus; the four
ministries are all key to guaranteeing its success. The plan includes
an online platform to track the health of Venezuelans (used by 11
million people so far), house-to-house visits of those with symptoms,
free tests for those who potentially have the virus and free
healthcare for those who test positive.
The
timing of this slew of Twitter account restrictions is odd; not only
does it coincide with a global pandemic, it also coincides with what
the Trump administration has called “maximum
pressure March”,
a plan to intensify the sanctions and regime change efforts on
Venezuela. Yet this isn’t the first time that Twitter has gone
after the Venezuelan government: on previous occasions, it suspended
the accounts of the Women’s Ministry, the Oil Ministry, the armed
forces, the office of the president, Central Bank, the state radio
station (as well as 13 regional radio stations) and several media
outlets.
The
onslaught of Twitter suspensions isn’t limited to government
agencies and politicians; private business and independent
journalists have also been affected. This includes Farmatodo (a
pharmacy chain) and influencers like Orlenys Ortiz (@OrlenysOV),
who has over 67,000 followers, has played a key role in urging people
to stay home and has documented how organized communities are
reacting to the virus.

* Het is
uiteraard nooit oké wanneer een platform als Twitter aan de hand loopt van de grootste
terreurentiteit op aarde: de VS! (Twitter zou onafhankelijk moeten zijn van welke regering dan ook, maar is dat al lang niet meer…..)
Weer een
staaltje onmenselijkheid waar je doodziek van wordt, het bericht
van het Care2 team waarin wordt aangegeven dat de VS overheid jonge vluchtelingen
verplicht in therapie te gaan. Wat er wordt besproken tijdens die
therapie wordt op een later tijdstip doodleuk misbruikt om deze jonge
vluchtelingen te deporteren…..
De
jongeren spreken uiteraard over hun angsten en de verschrikkingen die
ze meemaakten voordat ze de VS grens bereikten. ICE is de
overheidsorganisatie die al verantwoordelijk was voor het scheiden van
ouders en kinderen, die deze kinderen vervolgens verdeelde over de
VS, zodat de ouders niet meer wisten waar hun kinderen verbleven…..
(waar ouders en kinderen werden geplaatst in wat het best vergeleken kan worden met concentratiekampen…..) Ik spreek in de verleden tijd, echter als ik het goed heb begrepen
gebeurt dit nog steeds…..
Datzelfde
ICE dwingt nu de functionarissen die de therapie geven hun vertrouwelijke documenten over de
jonge vluchtelingen aan hen over te dragen…… Dit is zonder meer een ernstige schending van mensenrechten…….
Eén en ander is overigens een grove schending van het VN Vluchtelingenverdrag door de VS, waar ook de EU zich schuldig aan maakt….
Het
Care2 team is een petitie gestart om een eind aan deze
walgelijke situatie te maken, jammer genoeg kunnen wij deze petitie
niet tekenen. In de tekst die de petitie begeleidt, geeft Care2 het
voorbeeld van een jongen die volkomen terecht met zijn zus uit
Honduras vluchtte richting VS. De vreselijke ervaringen van de jongen
werden misbruikt om hem te kunnen deporteren…..
Wellicht
denk je waarom zou je dit bericht brengen als je toch niet kan
tekenen, echter het is van het allergrootste belang dat men
wereldwijd weet wat de VS ook in eigen land aan terreur
uitvreet….. Daarnaast komen veel vluchtelingen naar de VS, juist
vanwege het ingrijpen van de VS in Latijns-Amerika, zoals de coup in
Honduras*,die de mensen daar zo enorm veel ellende heeft bezorgd,
hetzelfde geldt nu voor Bolivia waar de democratisch gekozen
president Evo Morales werd afgezet middels een door de CIA opgezette opstand en
staatsgreep…….
Kortom
de VS zorgt ervoor dat mensen op de vlucht slaan en pakt ze
vervolgens uiterst inhumaan aan, een methode die zoals gezegd niets
anders is dan ijskoude, misdadige terreur……
Refugees
are being forced to go to therapy, then their words are used to
deport them. Sign to demand an end to this cruel practice.
Under
the United State’s Office of Refugee Resettlement’s (ORR)
policy, minors are required to meet with counselors within 72
hours of entering the system. They are then required to meet with
one every week until they are released — or deported. These
young patients often tell counselors their deepest feers and
confessions. Ostensibly, this is to help these children deal with
the trauma they have likely endured during their journey to the
United States. But
Trump’s ICE has been forcing therapists to hand over their therapy
notes and then using them to leverage the deportation of these
minors.
What
would be a violation of doctor-patient confidentiality in any
other situation is simply considered “information sharing”
between agencies when it comes to ICE and ORR.
In
one case, Kevin, a young Honduran boy who arrived in the states
unaccompanied with his sister, was detained and then obligated to
speak to a counselor about his past. He told the therapist some of
the nightmare he experienced after his grandmother passed and the
vicious gang MS-13 occupied their home. They slept in his bed,
tortured rival gang members on his patio, and eventually forced
him to sell drugs for the brutal organization. That
is why he decided to escape to the United States.
ICE
decided to take this deeply personal and traumatic information and
run with it — to fight any claim Kevin had to refugee status.
This isn’t right. What ICE and ORR are doing is a disgrace. They
are forcing children to reveal their darkest moments and forcing
counselors to be complicit in their xenophobic deportation plan.
It must end.

duurzaam beleid te voeren, zo kan tevens de klimaatverandering nog
enigszins worden afgeremd.
Green
America stelt terecht dat de 10 miljard die Bezos heeft gereserveerd*
bij lange niet na de schade goedmaakt die Amazon al heeft veroorzaakt
en nog veroorzaakt, ‘om maar te zwijgen’ over de uitbuiting van het
personeel en dat van bedrijven die de producten maken die Amazon
verkoopt.
Vergeet
niet dat Amazon haar tentakels steeds verder over de aarde uitspreidt
en ook in Nederland een kantoor wil openen. De groei van Amazon geeft
ten overvloede nog eens aan dat de 10 miljard van Bezos een fooi is
die vooral is bedoeld om Amazon groen te wassen (greenwashing).
Bovendien is het zeker dat Bezos en Amazon maar weinig belasting
betalen, waar giften ook nog eens in mindering zijn te brengen op de belastingaangifte……

Boycot
Amazon ajb, precies zo lang tot het bedrijf mensenrechten eerbiedigt**,
het personeel niet langer uitbuit en normaal behandelt, plus het milieu niet langer verrampeneert en de klimaatverandering echt
‘te lijf gaat!!’ (zegt het voort!)
De volgende actie werd afgetrapt op World Day of Social Justice, afgelopen donderdag, had dit bericht dan ook eerder moeten plaatsen, mijn excuus. Je kan overigens nog steeds meedoen en hoe meer mensen dat doen hoe beter!

billion. That is a HUGE sum of money, and the amount that Jeff Bezos
committed to addressing the climate crisis. But, as the richest
person on Earth, Bezos is making his money off Amazon.com, a company
that is a major driver of climate change.
It
is good that Bezos is finally recognizing we are facing a climate
crisis but donating a small portion of his enormous wealth isn’t a
solution. While we do need huge investments into climate solutions,
$10 billion will eventually run out, and if
Amazon hasn’t addressed its harmful impacts, people and the planet
will continue to pay the price.
Amazon
emitted 44 million metric tons of CO2 equivalent in 2018, including
indirect sources. That is larger than the emissions of United Parcel
Service and FedEx. Unfortunately, $10 billion will not erase Amazon’s
past, current, or future climate impacts.
So
rather than donating more of his personal wealth, we are calling on
Jeff Bezos to address Amazon’s harmful impacts on the people and
the planet.
Today
– World Day of Social Justice – join us in asking Amazon to get
serious about its harmful impacts on the planet and workers.
Over
the last year, we have seen Amazon workers take a stand against their
employer’s bad practices. But following these impressive worker-led
action, Amazon has tried to silence its workers – threatening to
fire individuals if they speak out about company policy without
management’s approval.
The
solution to climate change and worker abuse is NOT silencing workers.
At Green America, we commend the Amazon employees, from the corporate
offices to the warehouses to the delivery trucks, who time and time
again have held their employer accountable and pushed for better
corporate policies

TV heeft 2 video’s geplaatst over Malcolm X, de eerste bevat een
beroemde speech van Malcolm X, ofwel El-Hajj Malik el-Shabazz, na
zijn terugkeer uit Mekka, de tweede bevat een verslag van de
begrafenis van el-Shabazz…….
Onlangs
heeft een aanklager besloten de moord op el-Shabazz opnieuw te
onderzoeken, ook al is dat minstens 50 jaar te laat, ‘maar goed’ het gebeurt nu daadwerkelijk en dan maar hopen dat de uitkomst niet nu al
bekend is bij de onderzoekers: Malcolm X opnieuw demoniseren als
staatsvijand, zoals ook Martin Luther King werd gezien door de FBI,
de rest van de geheime diensten in de VS en door een groot aantal
politici (er zijn zelfs politici die dat nog steeds vinden, al durft men dat nu niet
meer hardop te zeggen……)
Nog zo’n voorbeeld: pas in 2008 besloot de VS om Nelson
Mandela van de terreurlijst te halen….. (!!!), terwijl deze een
aantal jaren president was van Zuid-Afrika (en zelfs toen nog op de
terreurlijst van de VS stond!), laat staan hoe men dacht en nog denkt
over el-Shabazz en Martin Luther King, om deze 2
mensenrechtenstrijders nog een keer te noemen……..
Kortom
geen twijfel wie de opdracht voor de moord op al-Shabazz heeft gegeven: de regering van de vereniging van
terreurstaten die als de VS wordt aangeduid (destijds onder presidentschap van oorlogsmisdadiger L.B. Johnson) en uitgevoerd door de FBI……

Het volgende bericht ligt al veel te lang op de stapen concepten:
Kreeg begin december vorig jaar een mail van Green America waarin een aantal artikelen, één ervan
met de kop: ’10 Ways Amazon Violates Human Rights…..’ Je wordt
er werkelijk schijtziek van als je ziet hoe zo’n schathemelrijk
bedrijf mensen behandelt en dat met aan de top grofgraaier Jeff Bezos,
als ik me niet vergis, de rijkste man op aarde…. Hoe durft deze schoft z’n personeel zo te behandelen en tegelijk zwaar onder te betalen??
Amzon maakt zoals veel grote bedrijven nog steeds gebruik van kinderarbeid, vooral bij de productie van ‘Alexa’ worden kinderen ingezet, die daarbij ook nog eens regelmatig moeten overwerken…… (voorts wordt Alexa gebruikt om gesprekken van de gebruikers af te luisteren; zo meer over privacyschendingen door Amazon….) Veel kleding die wordt verkocht op Amazon wordt gefabriceerd in de gevaarlijkste (en goedkoopste) textielfabrieken in ontwikkelingslanden, je weet we, van die fabrieken waar de deuren van buitenaf worden gesloten als de slavenarbeiders binnen zijn……
Voorts verzet Amazon zich tegen vakbonden en heeft zelfs anti-vakbondsvideo’s voor haar personeel…… Als men aan de top van Amazon doorheeft dat een werknemer bezig is om mensen te organiseren tegen wantoestanden wordt deze simpelweg ontslagen…… Over wantoestanden gesproken: het aantal ongevallen in verzendcentra van Amazon is meer dan het dubbele van het gemiddelde in andere verzendcentra, het directe gevolg van de waanzinnige prestatiedruk, ofwel de werknemers worden geprest het werk zo snel mogelijk te doen en het maakt de top niet uit hoe dat wordt gedaan (bijvoorbeeld door het niet volgen van veiligheidsprotocollen), als het maar gebeurt……
Amazon heeft verder lak aan de privacy van haar klanten en werkt graag mee met politie, zelfs als het heeft beloofd dat de gegevens niet door anderen mogen worden ingezien, inclusief de politie…… (zie de links aan het eind van dit bericht)
Mensen
lees het volgende artikel alsjeblieft en geeft het door!! Binnenkort komt Amazon ook op
de Nederlandse markt. Laat zien dat wij zo’n smerige patser met z’n
slavenwinkel niet wensen in ons land, boycot de inhumane neoliberale slavendrijver Bezos en bestel niet bij Amazon!

Ways Amazon Violates Human Rights

All year we have been sharing
various ways that Amazon is bad for workers, our planet, and
consumer, and on International Human Rights day, we wanted to use
this occasion to highlight some of the worst human rights abuses that
Amazon has either directly or indirectly contributed to.
Profits
off of child labor.
Hundreds of children
have been reported making Amazon’s Alexa, in an effort to meet
high production demands. Some of the children were required to work
overnight and overtime.
Amazon
sells clothing from a factory blacklisted for its poor safety
conditions. The Wall
Street Journal recently
found that sellers on Amazon have been listing clothing from a
factory so dangerous that most other major retailers will not buy
from it. This factory has no fire alarms and doors that lock
from the outside to keep workers trapped inside.
Facilitates
the human rights crisis on the US-Mexico border.
The Guardian
reported that Amazon Web Services hosts the Department of
Homeland Security’s databases which allows “the department and
its agencies to track and apprehend immigrants.” Amazon
also works with Palantir, which has over $150 million in
contracts with ICE.
Fights
unions, resisting workers’ right to freedom of association. Amazon
is known for pushing back against unionization. Amazon
reportedly has Whole Foods managers watch anti-union training videos
and has fired numerous workers who were organizing their coworkers
during the time of firing.
Amazon’s
Ring allows police to access your video footage. Forbes
reports that you can opt out of allowing police access to your
data, but “they can request the footage directly from Amazon if it
has been uploaded to the cloud and the request is sent within 60
days of recording – even if you deny police access to that footage.”
Though a similar
video doorbell service, Nest, has stated that it would not share
footage directly with police, experts do have privacy concerns about
both services.
Amazon
is listening to your private conversations.
Amazon hires thousands of people to listen to your
conversations. Bloomberg
reported individuals that are hired to review recordings
from Alexa noted that sometimes they review “everything the
speaker (Alexa) picks up, including background conversations—even
when children are speaking. Sometimes listeners hear users
discussing private details such as names or bank details…”
Amazon
risks the health of workers in US. Recently
released injury records found that injury rates within Amazon
warehouses are more than DOUBLE the industry average; this is
attributed in part to high production quotas.
Amazon
risks the health of workers in their supply chain.
While Amazon does have a
Restricted Substances List (RSL) to protect consumers for some
products, it does not apply to electronics or apparel. Amazon
does not share which harmful chemicals are and are not
allowed in their electronics or apparel supply chain; this means
workers and consumers could be exposed to harmful chemicals with
potentially lasting negative health consequences. Amazon does not
have an MRSL for any products and is therefore failing to
protect workers. An RSL is a list of chemicals that are restricted
or banned from the final consumer product, and an MRSL is a list of
chemicals that are restricted or banned from the manufacturing
process.
Amazon
sells unsafe products to children.
The Wall
Street Journal found: “More than 4,000 items for sale on
Amazon have been declared unsafe by federal agencies, including
2,000 listings for children’s toys and medications.”
Labor abuses on farms
supplying to Whole Foods. A
recent report from Oxfam found workers with 14-hour days with
limited rest breaks and limited access to restrooms. The report also
found that workers “reported developing allergies and serious skin
diseases as a result of working with pesticides and other chemicals
without adequate protection” on farms supplying to Whole Foods.
Ongelofelijk,
de macht die de rk kerk nog steeds heeft in grote delen van de
wereld, zoals in het Midden-Amerikaanse land El Salvador. Macht die
deze kerk misbruikt om vrouwen te verbieden een abortus te ondergaan,
zelfs als ze verkracht zijn of als ze gevaar lopen te overlijden tijdens de bevalling, ofwel de rk kerk heeft in het grootste deel van Latijns-Amerika macht over regeringsbeleid en daarmee over het justitiële apparaat in dat deel van de wereld……
Hetzelfde geldt overigens ook voor de VS, al heeft de rk kerk daar fikse concurrentie van de fundamentalistische protestantse groepen/sekten, voorts strekt de macht van de rk kerk zich uit over grote delen van Afrika, Europa en in Azië over een land als de Filipijnen… Het Care2 team spreekt in de hieronder opgenomen petitie dat El Salvador het meest strenge abortusbeleid van de wereld heeft, echter zaken als een abortus na een verkrachting is in heel veel meer landen verboden, niet alleen in landen die je rooms-katholiek kan noemen, maar ook in landen waar bijvoorbeeld de islam het voor het zeggen heeft…..
Abortus
is in alle gevallen verboden in El Salvador, dit door lobby van de rk kerk, zoals gezegd zelfs als het
leven van de moeder in gevaar is, of als ze is verkracht (en nog maar een kind is….)… De
zaak van Evelyn staat niet op zich, in El Salvador zitten 147 vrouwen in het gevang
en 19 vrouwen worden nu nog aangeklaagd (ze moeten dus nog veroordeeld worden….)…..
Evelyn
Hernandez werd als tiener door een bendelid verkracht, waardoor ze
ook nog eens zwanger raakte. Logisch dat Evelyn getraumatiseerd was na deze
vreselijke gebeurtenis, waaraan ze ook nog eens veel pijn overhield
en niet in de gaten had dat ze zwanger was…….
Ze
beviel in de badkamer van een dode baby en verloor het
bewustzijn….. Geen reden voor de autoriteiten om medeleven te tonen
met deze tiener en te zorgen dat haar psychische bijstand werd verleend, nee men zette haar gevangen vanwege een ‘illegale
abortus’, waarna ze door de rechter werd veroordeeld tot 30 jaar
gevangenisstraf….. (geweldig hè paus Franciscus???). Na 3 jaar
kwam ze vrij, echter de regering liet het er niet bij zitten en heeft
haar opnieuw aangeklaagd (en reken maar dat de regering van El Salvador vol zit met rk scherpslijpers…)…
Lees en teken de petitie van het Care2 team ajb en zegt het voort (ook dat de rk kerk de
hoofdverantwoordelijke is), aan dit uiterst inhumane en meer dan achterlijke onrecht moet een
eind komen, het is gvd 2020 en niet 1520!

was raped, impregnated, and jailed
Her
Baby Was Stillborn; She’s In Jail.
Evelyn
Hernandez’s story should inspire compassion.
As a teenager living in El Salvador, she survived a terrifying
assault — a
gang member raped and impregnated her.
She suffered from intense pain and emotional distress, and as a
result, didn’t realize she was pregnant.
She
found out when her stomach began to ache badly. She went to the
bathroom, and ultimately gave birth into a toilet at her home. The
child was found dead and Evelyn passed out. Then, as if her
experiences weren’t tragic enough, the
government decided to turn her into a criminal.
In
El Salvador, abortion — and perceived abortion — is illegal under any
and all circumstances,
even in cases of rape and when the mother’s life is at risk. In fact, the
country is considered to have the world’s most punitive and draconian
anti-abortion laws.
Prosecutors are convinced that Evelyn induced an abortion, and as a
result, they’ve
charged her with homicide because of her stillborn child.
As
punishment for her sexual assault and her resulting stillborn baby,
Evelyn was sentenced to 30 years in prison. After having served three
of those years, she was thankfully acquitted in a retrial. But
the Salvadorian government just won’t stop. They’re actually trying
to throw her in prison again — for
a third time.
And Evelyn’s not the only one. 147 women in the country have been
sitting in prison facing up to 40 years for the same “crime.”
Another 19 women have been similarly charged.
El
Salvador’s laws don’t just criminalize abortion; they criminalize
both women’s health and the tragedies we’re unable to prevent.
A United Nations Committee has even condemned El Salvador’s harsh
anti-abortion laws as a violation of human rights, and they couldn’t
be more correct.
Heb ook ‘kindermisbruik rk kerk’ toegevoegd aan de labels direct onder dit bericht, daar veel van de baby’s (als resultaat van een verkrachting) die wel levend worden geboren, in kindertehuizen verdwijnen die worden geleid door de…. rk kerk! Zoals we intussen kunnen weten lopen (lopen) die kinderen daar een grote kans misbruikt te worden door de ‘geestelijken’ van die kerk……..
