Het RIVM zou gisteren tegen de middag zien of een smogalarm nodig was….
Het RIVM, het ‘gezondheidsinstituut’ van de overheid, moest nog even meten of er inderdaad meer dan voldoende fijnstof in de lucht zat om zo´n alarm af te geven…….
De mussen donderen van het dak, de ene oudere na de andere bezwijkt en zelfs gezonde mensen hebben al dagen zichtbaar moeite met het normaal functioneren……
Maar het RIVM moet nog even meten of men wel last zou kunnen hebben van de smogvorming……
Het is ten overvloede weer eens bewezen: het RIVM wil zo min mogelijk het auto-, scheeps- en luchtverkeer aanwijzen als dader voor de slechte luchtkwaliteit in ons land, die NB tot de slechtste van de EU behoort……
Ach ja, de centen gaan in de huidige neoliberale prestatiemaatschappij ver voor op de volksgezondheid……
Er zijn mensen die volkomen vertrouwen op het oordeel van het RIVM, zo bezien genoeg om dit instituut strafrechtelijk te vervolgen voor minstens ‘serie-doodslag’!

Toevoeging op 27 juli 2018: vanmorgen werd bekend gemaakt dat Ahed al-Tamimi morgen, na meer dan een half jaar, eindelijk zal worden vrijgelaten! Ahed werd uiteindelijk 2 dagen later vrijgelaten op 29 juli 2018 en dus niet op 28 juli.
Op
18 juni 2013 zou onderzoeksjournalist Michael Hastings de motor van zijn auto
hebben opgeblazen door met 160 km/u. tegen een boom te rijden……. (een belachelijke claim, ‘maar goed…’)
Na
onderzoek bleek echter dat Hastings minder dan 65 km/u. reed en dat
zijn motor al explodeerde voordat deze tegen een boom aanreed (ofwel
Hastings was toen naar grote waarschijnlijkheid al dood…..)
De
motor van de auto werd gelanceerd en kwam 30 meter verder terecht,
bovendien hoorden getuigen niet één maar meerdere explosies…….
Tegen
de wil van de familie werd het lichaam van Hastings gecremeerd, nadat
een officiele autopsie was uitgevoerd……..
Hastings
liet bekenden uren voor zijn dood nog weten dat hij werd onderzocht
door de FBI, dit n.a.v. zijn onderzoek naar John Brennan, de latere
CIA chef….. De FBI ontkende dit later en oh wonder: de FBI bleek alweer te
hebben gelogen………
Dit
alles in het land dat prat gaat op haar democratie….. Een ‘democratie’ die voor een fiks
deel van het volk een farce is daar hen het stemmen onmogelijk wordt gemaakt,
bovendien als je niet beschikt over enorme kapitalen of vrienden die
een bak geld overhebben voor jouw kandidaatschap, kan je het zonder
meer vergeten mocht je de politiek in willen……. (waar je ook nog eens christelijk voor moet zijn en
de kerk moet bezoeken)
De
VS, hetzelfde land waar men te pas en te onpas stelt dat de vrijheid
van meningsuiting en vrije nieuwsgaring belangrijke pijlers zijn van
die democratie, echter van beiden is al lang geen sprake meer, zo
blijkt ook uit de video die ik van Brasscheck TV ontving over deze
zaak.
In
het begeleidende artikel wordt ook gewezen op de reguliere (massa-)
media die dit verhaal ondanks de vele feiten ‘links’ links lieten
liggen…….
Wat velen al weten is dat de CIA en FBI
verantwoordelijk zijn voor een flink aantal moorden in de VS, moorden zoals die op de
‘lastige’ Hastings, niet vreemd dus dat zij wijzen naar deze diensten
of één daarvan als dader dan wel opdrachtgever…… Politie en
brandweer werd te verstaan gegeven over dit ‘ongeluk’ te
zwijgen…….
De
zoveelste journalist die definitief het zwijgen is opgelegd. De
journalisten in de VS die hun werk doen en dit kwalitatief wel goed doen (i.t.t. tot het grootste deel van hun collega’s), wordt in 99% van de gevallen het werk onmogelijk gemaakt, aldus de
Brasscheck redactie….. Neem aan dat dit enigszins overdreven is, echter als je de reguliere pers in de VS onder de loep neemt, is het wel duidelijk dat de berichtgeving (veelal behoorlijk gevuld met fake news [nepnieuws]) van deze pers allesbehalve onafhankelijk is te noemen (en dus van belabberd niveau is….)…..

On
this day in 2013, US journalist Michael Hastings died under
mysterious circumstances.
News
reports said he was traveling at 100 miles per hour and his car
exploded when he hit a tree.
Wrong
and wrong.
Video
analysis by a physics professor says he was traveling less than 40
mph and his car exploded before he hit a tree and the engine and
drive train were found over 100 feet away – behind where the car
hit the tree, a physical impossibility from a collision. Multiple
explosions were reported.
Hastings
body was cremated after the official autopsy – against the wishes
of the family.
Hours
before he died, Hastings told friends he was under investigation by
the FBI for a story he was doing about Obama’s then terrorism czar,
who later became the head of the CIA: John Brennan, architect of the
black ops assassination program.
The
FBI denied this. The FBI was found to be lying. (Surprise, surprise.)
The
story didn’t pass the “smell test” with the local TV news, but
their detailed and thoroughly researched concerns was 100% ignored by
national news reports.
Note:
There are some decent people in the news media, but there work is
shut down 99% of the time.

af en toe zou je echt denken dat je droomt als je een bericht leest,
zoals afgelopen zaterdag toen ik een bericht op Anti-Media las over
het Trans Mountain Pipeline Expension Project (TMX pijpl., waar de Trans Mountain Pipeline zelf met de afkorting TMP wordt aangeduid)
Een
ex-bankier van de centrale Canadese bank hield zijn gehoor voor dat
er ongetwijfeld doden zullen vallen bij de enorme protesten in Canada
tegen dat project, maar dat dit geen reden moet zijn om dit (onzalige) project niet door te
zetten………
David
Dodge, de ex-bankier, stelde dat er moed nodig is om zo’n beslissing
te nemen, dus het willens en wetens doden, ofwel vermoorden van
demonstranten……
Figuren als Dodge, ronduit psychopaten, maken de dienst uit in de meeste landen (zowel in de politiek, de financiële wereld, als in het bedrijfsleven) en zeker in
de westerse landen…… Moedwillig verwoest men het klimaat en daarmee de
aarde zoals wij die kennen…… Mensen die zich daar volkomen
terecht tegen verzetten, mensen met empathie en zelfs gevoelens voor
generaties die nog moeten komen, moeten dus blijkbaar maar het leven
uit worden geholpen…..
Afgelopen vrijdag werd bekend gemaakt dat het afsmelten van ijs op Antarctica drie keer zo snel verloopt als men dacht en dat deze versnelling van het smelten van veelal landijs verder zal culmineren, ofwel steeds verder zal versnellen….
Gisteren hoorde ik op Radio1 van Rolf Schipper (Milieudefensie) in Vroege Vogels (rond 9.20 u.) dat de EU het gebruik van palmolie in diesel niet per 2021 gaat verbieden, maar pas in 2030….. Een één tweetje van politiek en bedrijfsleven, waardoor een enorm gebied aan oerwoud zal worden gekapt/verbrand en waarmee de klimaatverandering onevenredig hard zal worden aangejaagd…..
Schipper stelde dat het aandeel palmolie in ons voedsel niet opweegt tegen het gebruik van dit vet in voedsel, echter er is bijna geen levensmiddel te vinden waarin vetten zijn verwerkt, zonder palmolie….. Terwijl deze olie onze gezondheid bepaald nietten goede komt…..
De
hoogste tijd dat we eindelijk de psychopaten isoleren die verantwoordelijk zijn voor dit soort zaken en hen zo niet
nog eens de kans geven om anderen, het milieu en uiteindelijk de wereld
naar de kloten te helpen! Wellicht kunnen we dan eindelijk aan een
wereld gaan werken waar iedereen gelukkig kan worden, een wereld waar iedereen echt als gelijke wordt gezien en behandeld, een wereld die
niet meer wordt verpest met enorme lucht-, water- en
bodemverontreiniging, een wereld waar niet prestaties en economische groei als belangrijkst
worden gezien, maar de mate van geluk van ieder mens een leidraad
is!! Former
Central Banker: Oil Pipeline Protesters Will Be Killed. So Be It.
(CD) — As
Canada’s controversial Trans Mountain pipeline expansion project
faces ongoing opposition,
the former governor of the Bank of Canada said that protesters may
die but that the government should push the project through anyway.
Speaking
at an event Wednesday, David Dodge said, “We’re going to have
some very unpleasant circumstances,” the Edmonton
Journalreported.
“There are some people that are going to die in protesting
construction of this pipeline. We have to understand that.”
“Nevertheless,
we have to be willing to enforce the law once it’s there,” Dodge
said. “It’s going to take some fortitude to stand up.”
In
an interview with the Journal,
he elaborated by saying, “We have seen it other places, that
equivalent of religious zeal leading to flouting of the law in a way
that could lead to death.”
Dodge’s
comments prompted outrage from climate activists.
Author
and 350-org co-founder Bill McKibben warned, “North American
governments have shown the ‘fortitude’ necessary to kill
indigenous people often enough that this is no idle threat,” while
Canandian author Naomi Klein called the threat a “disgrace.” She
added, “If the worst happens, we now know they went into this with
their eyes wide open.”

Trudeau
was the target of sharp criticism from environmental advocacy groups
after announcing last
month that the government would purchase the pipeline and expansion
system, which will roughly triple the system’s capacity. That $4.5
billion buyout, commented the
B.C.-based Dogwood Initiative, makes every taxpayer “partial owner
of a leaky 65-year-old pipeline—and the proponent of a still
uncosted oil tanker expansion project.”
Dodge,
for his part, has been described as
“not inclined to hold his tongue.”
His
comments about the pipeline protesters come days after
he accused climate
activists of making it harder to enact policies to reduce greenhouse
gas emissions and said Canada should “sell our hydrocarbons, which
we produce, to foreigners at the highest possible market
price….including the sale of bitumen from the oilsands, while
demand for oil is robust and still growing.”
Het

An
Israeli military patrol vehicle hit Hebron teenager

Israeli
soldiers shot and killed a Palestinian construction worker Rami Wahid
Sabarneh.
A husband and father of four, the 37-year-old was from the
Hebron-area town of Beit Ummar. The military claimed he was
attempting to carry out a vehicular attack, a assertion witnesses
have vehemently denied. Israeli soldiers prevented an ambulance from
reaching Sabarneh to provide him with medical aid.

In
the morning Israeli Occupation Forces arrested
39-year-old Suzan Al-Oweiwi, an
elected member of the Hebron municipal council from her
house.
In
the afternoon, Israeli
settlers entered and tried to occupy a Palestinian house in the old
city of Hebron.
Thankfully, after few hours, they left the house.
In
the evening,
the Israeli Military claimed they were searching for
a “suspicious looking” Palestinian in the Tel Rumida
neighborhood, shooting
four rounds of live ammunition and two flares into the air,
one of which started a fire. During their search, they declared
the area a closed military zone, preventing
residents from adjacent neighborhoods from entering the area.
The
soldiers detained
45-year-old Ashrf Said and his young son on
their way to pray, during the holy month of Ramadan. After being
released and allowed to continue on, another soldier
threatened Said with his M16.
On
their return, father and son were again stopped. Soldiers
violently searched Said’s body.
When our human rights observers/volunteers tried to translate for
him, they were also threatened. See the video taken

Early
in the morning, the Israeli military welded shut the front doors of
Sami Zahda’s house,
on the beginning section of Shuhada street which Palestinians are
still able to access. Left
inside were Sami, his wife and their 3 & 4 year old sons.
The building’s landlord tried to appeal to the soldiers, explaining
that the only other exit was too dangerous to use.
Due
to pressure from the local community and human rights groups, at
4pm the soldiers finally unsealed the front door.
However,
by evening, a large group of settler children, encouraged by the
adult settler population, had congregated on the stoop of the
house, harassing
the family and the rest of the Palestinian population.
Rather than ensuring safety for all, the soldiers accommodated
the violent activities of the children and declared the entire area a
closed military zone.
Welding
shut Palestinian front doors in Hebron is part of a wider
strategy of closure and coerced resettlement spanning back 25 years
in order to kill the Palestinian identity of Hebron.

In
the early hours of the morning, the Israeli military once
again welded shut the doors of the Zahda family house,
despite protests of surrounding Palestinian families and the
illegality of these actions under international and even Israeli
law.

Israeli
soldiers threw large rocks and a bottle of juice at the Youth Against
Settlement center in Tel Rumeida. The soldiers’ actions followed a
gathering at the center for Iftar breaking of the fast.
Upping
their harassment, the Israeli Military arrested Youth Against
Settlements spokesperson Mohammad Zoghayer on his way to the center,
claiming that he appeared “suspicious.” Thankfully, he was
released the next day.

of the Ramadan holiday month and the beginning of a new year.
As
Eid approaches, the commercial streets of Hebron’s old city are
filled with uncharacteristic life (throughout the rest of the year
the devastating impact the occupation has turned the old city into a
ghost town). Families prepare for the celebration by buying new
clothes and stocking their pantries with supplies for the Eid al Fitr
feast. A favorite stop is al Sahel
al Akhdar sweets, where they’ve been producing Ramadan treats, like
these Suhoney pistachio borma, for the past 25 years.

gevangen dan die van de witte meerderheid…… Naar zo’n land zet
Nederland mensen uit, een land waar je beter kan bekennen dan de
waarheid te zeggen dat je onschuldig bent, daar je anders toch
meestal wel veroordeeld wordt en dan een veel hogere straf opgelegd krijgt,
dit noemt men ‘plea bargain…….’
Nu
maakt de VS dus ook openlijk jacht op journalisten, zoals eerder al in Irak te zien was, toen helikopters o.a. journalisten
bewust onder vuur namen en uitschakelden…. (dus vermoordde…)
In het artikel hieronder wordt o.a. gesteld dat Obama restricties wilde op het aantal moorden per drone, echter dat is gelul, ook al heeft hij in totaal misschien minder verdachten laten vermoorden, het blijft moord en ja zijn 100 moorden dan minder erg dan laat ik zeggen 200?
Waarom blijft de EU zo afzijdig en dient het geen klacht is tegen de moordmachine die men Amerika (moet zijn: VS) pleegt te noemen? Een moordmachine die zelfs het vermoorden van journalisten toestaat en ze daartoe op de zwarte lijst zet……. Als in Rusland een journalist wordt vermoord staat het westen bijkans op de kop…….
Judge
Allows US Journalist in Syria to Challenge Inclusion on ‘Kill List’
(MEMO) — A
federal judge today allowed an American journalist based in Syria to
challenge his alleged placement on a US kill list, the
Washington Post reported.
The
green light gives Bilal Abdul Kareem, a journalist operating in
Syria, the ability to seek answers as to whether he is included on a
US kill list.
US
government lawyers asked the US Judge Rosemary Collyer of the
District Columbia to dismiss the case, claiming that Kareem is not
able to evidence his case based on the secrecy involved in targeted
killing decision making in the US military and Central Intelligence
Agency (CIA).
“Due
process is not merely an old and dusty procedural obligation … It
is a living, breathing concept that protects US persons from
overreaching government action even, perhaps, on an occasion of war,”
Collyer said in her ruling.
Five
Attempted Assassinations
Kareem
has escaped being killed by drone strike on five occasions, including
two strikes on cars he was travelling in. Two additional strikes were
executed on his independent news agency, On the Ground News,
while he was working in the studio. Kareem can now directly challenge
the US government in court on the procedure of selecting him to be
killed without notice or challenge.
Al
Jazeera journalist Ahmad Muaffaq Zaidan had his case
dismissed as “speculative” by the same judge. The dual
Pakistani-Syrian citizen “alleged that a leaked US government
document indicated that he was named by a National Security Agency
metadata tracking programme allegedly used by the CIA and called
Skynet”, the newspaper reported. Zaidan was the first person to
interview Osama Bin Laden, Al-Qaeda’s former leader, in the 1990s.

Strikes Double Under Trump
Former
US President Barack Obama previously warned high risk
counter-terrorism operations should be used sparingly and only after
internal review. His successor Donald Trump has sidestepped that rule
and provided the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the US
Military broader powers.
In
addition, the US considers some countries “areas
of activity hostilities” or
temporary battlefields where looser targeting rules apply. US drone
warfare has taken the lives of some 10,858 individuals
since 2004, according to the Bureau of Investigative Journalism
(TBIJ).

zogenaamd vermoorde Russische journalist Arkadij Babchenko blijkt minder dood dan eerder gedacht. De hysterie rond zijn dood
liep al weer hoog op in de westerse reguliere media, waar men
uiteraard de Russen de schuld gaf*, waar ook Skripal weer van stal werd gehaald……
Dezelfde Skripal die ‘na zijn vergiftiging met novitsjok’ volgens deskundigen alleen nog een
vegetatief leven zou kunnen leiden, in coma dus… Echter Skripal
heeft zich alweer gemeld, nadat jezus hem na een reis met een
tijdmachine beter had gemaakt….. (volgens deskundigen zou Skripal
‘na de aanslag met novitsjok’ nooit weer ontwaken en zou hij
waarschijnlijk snel overlijden…..)
Naar
nu blijkt heeft de top van de SBU, de geheime dienst van de Oekraïense junta, met rode oren de verhalen van
Sherlock Holmes gezien op tv, de nieuwe serie met Benedict Cumberbatch in de hoofdrol, waarin deze in een aflevering zijn eigen dood in scene zette…. Zo dacht men weer een paar Russen op te kunnen pakken, Russen die nog niet werden vermoord door de
neonazi-doodeskaders die o.a. Kiev teisteren en de laatste jaren
jacht maken op Russen die in het door de neonazi-junta van
Porosjenko beheerste gebied wonen……… Twee vliegen in 1 klap: immers daarmee kan men Rusland weer als boeman afschilderen….**
Babchenko heeft zich als ‘journalist’ laten misbruiken voor een smerig spel, waarmee alleen nog eens wordt aangetoond dat Oekraïne maar in één ding is geïnteresseerd: Rusland demoniseren…. De reguliere westerse media zijn mooi in deze val gelopen en hebben voor de zoveelste keer ‘fake news’ (nepnieuws) gebracht……
Bovendien, zo moet de SBU hebben bedacht, op het juiste moment gepland, na de zoveelste rammelende conclusies
van het JIT over MH17, zo blijft de aandacht tenminste op de Russen
gericht, i.p.v. de aandacht te verleggen naar de meest waarschijnlijke daders: Oekraïense
speciale troepen die onder regie stonden van de VS…….
Daarover gesproken: waarom vraagt niemand
zich af, hoe onwaarschijnlijk het is dat Rusland MH17 zou hebben neergehaald,
immers Rusland werd al ten onrechte beschuldigd van het annexeren van
De Krim en hulp aan de separatisten in Oekraïne, zaken die zonder
meer waren gebaseerd op leugens en waar geen flinter bewijs voor was en is…… Welk weldenkend land zou op dat moment een passagiersvliegtuig neerhalen???
Met
het neerhalen van MH17 zou Rusland in feite de eerdere westerse leugens over haar agressie bevestigen en als die agressie niet zo ver ging, zoals ‘de annexatie van De
Krim’***, zou in ieder geval Rusland in een uiterst slecht daglicht komen
te staan…. Waar is in godsnaam de logica??? Dit nog naast het
totaal rammelende bewijs, waarbij zelfs ‘deskundigen’ niet meer
twijfelen aan de Russische schuld…..

Ondanks dat deze moord in scene werd gezet, hebben de Oekraïense junta en haar

41-year-old former Russian soldier-turned-journalist reported to have
been assassinated on Tuesday, faked his own death as part
of an elaborate sting operation by Ukraine to bust an actual hit
planned by Russia, according to the head of the SBU, Ukraine’s
national security service.

According
to Tuesday’s media “reports”, the Journalist, Arkady
Babachenko, was
shot three times in the back in his apartment building in the
Ukrainian capital of Kiev last Tuesday after going out to buy bread –
his wife finding him in a pool of blood after she came out of the
bathroom following the “murder.” He was pronounced dead in an
ambulance on the way to the hospital.
A
photo of Babachenko taken by his wife, which was staged, was posted
online.
Then,
in a remarkable “recovery”, on Wednesday, Babachenko showed up to
a press conference, reporting that the SBU had intelligence
about the actual assassination scheme and that he helped them to
derail the plot. The assassin who received the real order to kill
Babachenko along with the person who organized the hit, have
reportedly been detained.

Babachenko
fled to Ukraine in February 2017 after he says he received threats
and could be arrested following his work as a presenter for Ukraine’s
ATR TV. He has been one of Russia’s most recognizable war
correspondents, and has spoken out about Russia’s actions in Syria
and Ukraine in recent years.
Following
his “death,” Ukrainian officials confirmed Babachenko had been
shot and said it was believed he had been targeted due to his work as
an anti-Putin journalist.
Ukrainian
lawmaker Anton Gerashchneko told
the BBC that
the killer waited for Babachenkon near his Kiev apartment and then
shot him from behind.
“When
Arkady opened the door of his flat, the killer cowardly shot him in
the back,
firing several shots,” wrote Gerashchneko on Facebook – however
it is unclear if he knew about the ruse. He added that investigators
were looking into “Russian spy agencies” as “Putin’s regime
takes aim at people whom it’s impossible to break or intimidate.”
A
neighbor told local
media that
the assassin had probably used a silencer, since they didn’t hear
any shots.
The
reaction to Babachenko’s assassination was to condemn Russia. The
Guardian described
it “as the most recent murder of a high-profile dissident in
Kiev, a city that has become a refuge for some of Moscow’s most
vehement critics, as well as the scene of targeted assassinations
that have remained unsolved for years.”
As
a result of the brilliant special operation carried out by Ukrainian
law enforcers, the
killer who received the order for the murder of Arkady and the
organizer of the murder were detained.
Gerashchenko
went on to describe the sting operation – which he likened to
Sherlock Holmes faking his own death (Google translated):
In
order to better document the customers and organizers of the crime –
representatives of the Russian special services, they had to be
assured that the hired killer had successfully completed the order.
The
fact that in fact the murder of Arkady Babchenko is a dramatization,
he knew a very limited circle of people.
This

leakage.

Babachenko
was born in Moscow in 1977. While studying law, he was conscripted
into the Russian army and served during the Chechen wars from 1994 to
2000. Following his service, he became a war correspondent, and
worked for Moskovsky Komsomolets and Zabytiy Polk according to Heavy.
He also wrote a memoir in 2006, “One Soldier’s War,” in which
he chronicled his experiences. He has a degree in international law
from the Modern Humanitarian University.

Daarop werd er een referendum gehouden in De Krim, waarin een grote meerderheid (ook de oorspronkelijke bevolking) koos voor aansluiting bij Rusland, dit referendum werd goedgekeurd door internationale waarnemers……..

The “he was depressed” story is always injected into the media
narrative early and often and rarely has any basis in fact.
Sometimes, in the case of Kurt Cobain, it is carefully manufactured
before the suicide is discovered.
Some
targets may have been under significant stress, but had resilient
personalities and in some cases had no reason to be depressed at all
Police
in these cases are remarkably incompetent, declarations are made far
in advance of any reasonable investigation, and essential evidence –
including the body itself – is often destroyed.

The
“suicide” of Kurt Cobain shows how sloppy and/or corrupt police

Beste bezoeker, het moet wel heel gek zijn gegaan als jij op school niet hetzelfde over dr. Martin Luther
King leerde als ik: Martin Luther King was een
voorvechter tegen de rassenscheiding en dus voor gelijke rechten van
de gekleurde bevolking t.o.v. het witte deel.
Echter
een paar jaar voor dat hij werd vermoord, waren King en anderen bezig één grote beweging op te zetten tegen vooral de
armoede in de VS, dwars door kleur, religie of politieke overtuiging,
al moet je dan wel bij voorbaat een deel van de democraten en
republikeinen uitsluiten, die alles behalve wensten (en nog steeds niet wensen) dat mensen
eindelijk eens eerlijk worden behandeld…….
De eerste Poor People’s Campaign, een strijd tegen armoede, systematisch racisme en militarisme (dat enorme kapitalen opslokt door eindeloze oorlogvoering), werd mede door King nog voor zijn dood gelanceerd
Kortom
King was wat men toen noemde: behoorlijk controversieel bezig en bepaald niet geliefd bij
de VS overheid, door wie hij dan ook in opdracht werd vermoord……
Volgens
een laatste onderzoek wonen er nu 140 miljoen mensen in armoede in de
VS, waartussen velen met één of meer banen en die desondanks een te
laag maandelijks inkomen hebben, om ook maar een stuiver over te kunnen
houden, sterker nog: het ontbreekt hen aan veel zaken, bijvoorbeeld geld om gezond voedsel te kunnen kopen (een ‘maaltijd’ van McDonald’s is in de VS een stuk goedkoper, dan zelf een maaltijd te maken met gezonde ingrediënten….)……..
Je
zou dus verwachten dat de VS overheid wel veel geld in de armoede zal
steken, echter van elke belastingdollar gaat 53 dollarcent naar illegale
oorlogsvoering, terwijl 15 cent van die dollar naar
armoedebestrijding gaat, ofwel naar 140 miljoen VS burgers……..
‘Niet
vreemd ook’ dat men in de VS figuren als King vermoordt, immers hij
wist mensen op te roepen tot verzet en demonstraties, waarmee hij successen wist te boeken (al was het maar dat de hele wereld kon zien hoe barbaars en onbeschoft de VS omging met de gekleurde bevolking)…… Naast King kregen
anderen die uiterst kritisch staan tegenover de opvolgende VS regeringen (of het
nu democratisch of republikeins is) vreemde ongelukken, ofwel ze werden
vermoord, waar ook het middel ‘suïcide’ werd gebruikt, bijvoorbeeld een persoon
die zich tweemaal door het hoofd schoot….. (fysiek onmogelijk,
zelfs als je niet heel kwetsbare gedeelten van je hersenen raakt….)
Lullig genoeg is er voor de gekleurden in de VS niet veel ten goede gekeerd en als je bijvoorbeeld naar de populatie in de gevangenissen kijkt, staat het er nu nog slechter voor dan ten tijde van Kings laatste dagen……..

What’s the first thing that you think of when you think of Martin
Luther King, Jr.? Perhaps the “I have a dream speech”?
That’s
what we learn about in school. But what was King’s dream at the end
of his life?
It
was to build a massive movement of all poor people, united across
lines of division, challenging conditions of poverty, systemic
racism, and militarism — which sucks our resources into endless
wars. Shortly before he was assassinated, King and many allies
launched the first Poor People’s Campaign.
In
many ways, the first Poor People’s Campaign marked a departure from
the broader civil rights movement up until that point.
For
King, it was a transformation in his thinking from a focus on the
civil rights of African Americans to the human rights shared by all.
It meant no longer addressing racism as an isolated issue, but
instead recognizing that systemic racism, poverty, and militarism are
closely connected. Together they keep people of all races down.
It
marked a shift from a period of reform to what
he called a period of revolution.
These might sound like radical words — and indeed many people
around King at the time felt that this new campaign was a bit too
radical.
But
King and his allies could see that despite the huge victories of the
civil rights movement, major societal problems still weren’t
resolved. They realized that it would take a broad-based movement
of allstruggling people to change the conditions in our
communities.
In
many ways, conditions are worse now that they were 50 years ago.
According
to a new
Institute for Policy Studies report,
140 million Americans are poor or low-income. Yet 53 cents of every
discretionary tax dollar goes to the military, compared to just 15
cents to fight poverty. Meanwhile, nearly half of all states have
passed laws making it harder for poor people and people of color to
vote.
People
are definitely feeling that in my state of Pennsylvania.
The
most recent State
of Working PA report finds
that the bottom 70 percent of Pennsylvania workers saw their wages
decline between 2009 and 2014, during what was termed the so-called
“recovery.” Pennsylvania is in the top four states for opioid
overdoses, and over 3 million people in our state are living below or
close to the federal poverty line.
Pundits
and politicians like to preach about what we should do to get out of
poverty while blaming us for experiencing it. But they haven’t
explained how it’s possible to have an economic recovery without
things getting better for our families.
If
“the economy” can recover without real people recovering, then
whose economy is it really?
What
can we do about all this? The first thing we can do is to change our
mentality, and drop the shame and stigma that’s associated with not
being able to make ends meet.
The
second thing that we can do is to connect with others. A new Poor
People’s Campaign is being organized to fight back against the war
on the poor today, and it’s coming to over 30 states — including
mine and maybe yours — this spring. To learn more, check

wij gaan trouwens dezelfde neoliberale kant op als de VS en intussen
leven in ons land 4 miljoen mensen (waaronder 600.000 kinderen) tegen, op of
onder de armoedegrens en dat is in alle 3 genoemde gevallen een leven in
armoede…….. Dit zijn mensen die letterlijk gesproken geen stuiver
meer kunnen missen, maar die jaarlijks met huurverhogingen te maken
krijgen waardoor ze wel degelijk hele euro’s per maand meer moeten
betalen, zelfs als hun huurtoeslag omhoog gaat……. Ook tussen deze
Nederlanders zitten mensen die wel degelijk een baan hebben, maar die
zo laag betaald worden dat ze er niet van rond kunnen komen (waar ze
veelal toch al snel een derde van hun inkomen moeten verwonen, o.a. met
toestemming van de SP…)….
