Eerste politierobot een feit………

Dat autofabrikanten het nergens nauw mee nemen, zal nog voor niemand een verrassing zijn, echter het kan nog sterker: Ford (VS) heeft een zelflerende politierobot gefabriceerd……. Deze eerste politierobot is nu nog een zelfrijdende politieauto, die autonoom beslissingen neemt op gedrag van automobilisten in het verkeer……. De robotauto zou andere voertuigen op afstand stil kunnen zetten, dat betekent dat het elektronische systeem van afstand kan worden geblokkeerd (dat meldt Jake Anderson, de schrijver van het volgende artikel niet, maar is een al langer bekende technologie)…….. Deze robot kan groeien in de functie, daar deze ook zelflerend is…….

Op zeker dat de politie in de VS deze auto in gebruik zal nemen en niet voor de gebieden waar veel gekleurden wonen, of ze moeten deze robot precies zo instrueren als de ‘gewone agenten…….’ Zo instrueren dat deze robot gekleurden als potentiële misdadigers zal zien, dus etnisch zal profileren en als het even kan gekleurden doodschieten, ofwel standrechtelijk executeren en dat alleen vanwege hun huidskleur……

Ford heeft de eerste stap gemaakt naar een geautomatiseerde nieuwe wereld robotorde, waarmee de gevaarlijk stap is gezet naar andere zelflerende robots, lopende robots voor politie en leger, die al helemaal niet zullen twijfelen of ze iemand wel dan niet zullen vermoorden….. Overigens is men ook al bezig met het ontwerpen van een drone die zelfstandig beslist of doelwitten uitgeschakeld ‘moeten worden…’ (let wel: dat is eigenlijk een zware misdaad!) De controle op die standrechtelijke executies, onder Obama tot vol wasdom gekomen, stelde al niets voor, zoals zojuist gezegd: met robots zal dit moorden nog grotere vormen aannemen, waar onderzoek zelfs wel eens onmogelijk gemaakt kan worden………… Immers wie moet je de schuld nog geven na een schietincident, bijvoorbeeld in een Midden-Oosten gebied, de fabrikant??? (ach, als men nu een onderzoek instelt naar een moordpartij in bijvoorbeeld Irak, komen de VS daders er voor 99% vanaf met een vrijspraak……)

De VS is in feite al een politiestaat, met dergelijke robots kan zo’n dictatuur pas echt vervolmaakt worden……. Op weg naar een wereld die zelfs George Orwell niet kon voorzien………. (al weet ik zeker dat meerdere sciencefiction schrijvers hier wel over hebben verhaald, ben helaas al mijn scifi boeken kwijtgeraakt door een kwaadaardig persoon in mijn verleden……

(ANTIMEDIA) —
Millions
of jobs are at risk of being outsourced to
automated artificial intelligence or robotic applications in the next
decade. These jobs range from baristas and supermarket
clerks to lawyers and hedge
fund managers.
Now, a new patent application by automaker Ford suggests law
enforcement agents, too, could soon be replaced by artificially
intelligent autonomous police cars equipped with state of the art
cameras, wireless communication sensors, and surveillance technology.

The
automated cop car would be designed to seek out especially crafty
hiding places, detect driving infractions, wirelessly
interface with
potentially (automated) lawbreaking vehicles, and even remotely issue
citations. According to Techcrunch,
Ford’s patent filing suggests that the new machine learning
algorithm would not only be capable of determining whether the
infraction constitutes a ticket or a warning but would also be able
to manually take control of the vehicle if necessary, although it is
not entirely clear what the patent envisions in the way of manual
takeovers. The AI black-and-white would also have instantaneous
access to any databases necessary to adjudicate suspects and
offenders.

“While autonomous
vehicles can
and will be programmed to obey traffic laws,” the
patent filing states, “a
human driver can override that programming to control and operate the
vehicle at any time. When a vehicle is under the control of a human
driver there is a possibility of violation of traffic laws. Thus,
there will still be a need to police traffic.”

Vaughn
Highfield of Alphr imagined how
this might play out on the road:

“In
practice, Ford’s car would establish a direct wireless connection
with a speeding car and then send a message to its dashboard
indicating that it’s going too fast and
has been spotted. The vehicle would
then reply to Ford’s police car informing it of if it was in
autonomous mode or being driven by a human.”

A
ticket may then be issued to the license of the human driver.

Some
tech and science blogs took a glass half full approach to the
news, pointing
out that
automating routine police tasks, such as speeding tickets, may free
up human police officers to focus more of their attention on law
enforcement tasks that are not so easily interpreted by an algorithm.
The overriding sentiment, however, seems to be one of caution, as
technologists imagine a world where humans are policed by
artificially intelligent automated law enforcers.

Unsurprisingly,
Ford Global Technologies CEO Jim Hackett is optimistic about what he
describes as a game-changing technology that will transform cities
and communities for the better. During a speech at
a Las Vegas conference last month, he pontificated about the utopian
future humans can expect in the ‘city of tomorrow’:

“The
car and the system will be talking to each other. And changing one
piece of the system necessarily changes the whole.

“A
car obviously is going to learn to drive itself, but the city
transportations grid will mutate around what the cars need.

“What
we want is the depiction of the city of tomorrow that demonstrates
the benefits of introducing these smart vehicles in a smart world for
civic life.

“It’s
not about the city getting smarter, but about humans having a better
day.”

Stephen
Edelstein, a writer for The
Drive,
however, voiced more concern regarding the ethics of
automated law enforcement. “The
potential pitfalls of machines conducting police work
have us feeling especially skeptical about this one.”

While
Ford’s patent doesn’t ensure the technology will come to pass, it
seems exceedingly likely that the country’s law enforcement
agencies and military will
soon be embracing the most cutting-edge technologies, which begs the
question:

De VS gaf meer dan 1 miljoen dollar uit om protesten tegen Iraans bewind uit te buiten (en te organiseren)

Ja, beetje vreemde kop met de toevoeging tussen aanhalingstekens, waarin ik de kop boven het artikel van Darius Shahtahmasebi op Creative Commons en Anti-Media probeer mee te nemen. Volgens hem heeft de VS de koe bij de horens gevat om de protesten in Iran van december 2017 en de eerste week van dit jaar te gebruiken en deze te veranderen in (gewelddadig) protest tegen het Iraanse bewind………

Zo bezien zou je denken dat Shahtahmasebi, die onderzoeksjournalist Nafeed Ahmed meermaals citeert, blijkbaar niet weet dat de VS altijd al (CIA) agenten in Iran had, agenten die niet alleen aan spionage doen, maar ook proberen mensen te winnen voor een opstand tegen het Iraanse bewind. Het is dan ook zeker, dat de CIA aandeel had in het organiseren van de ‘opstand’. Later wordt hier wel aan gerefereerd door Shahtahmasebi. Deze bemoeienis van de VS bestaat al van voor de Iraanse revolutie in 1979, al zal het aantal agenten de eerste jaren na deze revolutie in Iran wel minimaal zijn geweest, als ze al niet de benen hadden genomen naar een ander dan wel hun ‘thuisland’.

Vergeet niet dat er voor de Iraanse revolutie een groot aantal VS beambten werkzaam was in toen nog de Perzische dictatuur van sjah Pahlavi, die in het zadel werd geholpen (1953*) en gehouden door de VS, dezelfde VS (middels de CIA) die de gehate geheime dienst trainde……. Al met al zijn door eerdere VS regeringen vele miljoenen uitgegeven aan Iran, met de bedoeling een verandering van regime te kopen

Shahtahmasebi citeert Ahmed die uitlegt dat uit congressionele documenten Trumps (zijn militaire administratie) bemoeienissen duidelijk worden gemaakt, bemoeienissen waarmee op meerdere manieren gepoogd werd een verandering van bewind in Iran voor elkaar te krijgen (een bewind dat pro-VS zou moeten zijn, zoals je begrijpt)………

Lees hoe ‘de waard’ (de VS) haar gasten vertrouwt en zelf de grote manipulator is van processen in alweer een land waar het niets te zoeken heeft…… Van Rusland kan dit niet gezegd worden, daar er geen bewijzen zijn (zelfs het Volkskrant artikel over Russiagate van afgelopen week blijkt apekool te zijn, later meer daarover), terwijl de reguliere media (zoals de Volkskrant, NRC, Telegrof, radio en tv) en de meeste westerse politici volhouden dat Rusland de grote manipulator is, echter voor de VS manipulaties, waarvoor bewijzen te over zijn, hebben deze media en politici amper of geen aandacht…….. Bewijzen voor de manipulaties van de VS, op een groot aantal manieren toegepast op een evenzo groot aantal landen….. Waar de Vault 7 en 8 gelekte VS overheidsdocumenten op Wikileaks aangeven dat de CIA, NSA en andere geheime diensten in de VS, deze manipulaties in de schoenen van een ander land kunnen schuiven (bijvoorbeeld door een spoor achter te laten dat eindigt bij een IP-adres in een ander land…….)

US Spent Over $1 Million to Exploit Protests in Iran for ‘Regime
Change’

(ANTIMEDIA Op-ed) — The
U.S. State Department spent over $1 million to exploit unrest in
Iran, investigative journalist Nafeez Ahmed reported last
week in Le
Muslim Post.

At
the end of 2017 and through the
first week of 2018,
Iran was rocked by protests through its major cities, and the Trump
administration quickly pounced to exploit the dissent. The U.S. even
tried calling an urgent U.N. Security Council meeting that ultimately
backfired because
the rest of the major U.N. players weren’t interested in exploiting
Iran’s protests for personal gain.

However,
the Trump administration’s desire to exploit unrest in Iran may go
much further than mere diplomatic support for anti-regime protesters.
Ahmed explains:

“A
range of recent official documents, from Congressional research to US
foreign aid funding reports, throw new light on the Trump
administration’s approach. The documents reveal the US government’s
continued interest in triggering major political change in Iran to
pull the country into the orbit of American interests. This includes
the possibility of exploiting political unrest and other crises –
including a worsening water crisis – to turn popular opinion
against the regime.” However,
the Trump administration’s desire to exploit unrest in Iran may go
much further than mere diplomatic support for anti-regime protesters.
Ahmed explains:

This
introduction may be no surprise to some, as Anti-Media has previously
explained that
regime change in Iran has become more or less an official Trump
administration policy and that a CIA office has even been established
to complete this nefarious goal.

Ahmed
explains further:

“Iran’s
unrest has mostly been driven by a convergence of domestic
ecological, energy and economic crises. The State Department has
sought to exploit these crises to undermine the legitimacy of the
regime, by funding opposition groups as well as anti-regime
broadcasting to the tune of tens of millions of dollars a year…One
State Department funding document, for instance, refers to a project
to use Iran’s growing water crisis to drum up public anger against
regime “mismanagement”. To
date, US government records show that the Trump
administration has spent over $1m,
at least, since 2016, on financing anti-regime activism within Iran.”

However,
as Ahmed explains, the recent findings are nothing new in terms of
American foreign policy, as “successive
US administrations have invested tens of millions of dollars a year
on ‘democracy promotion efforts’ in Iran.”
This was also detailed
in the book Which
Path to Persia? – a
neoconservative roadmap for targeting Iran for regime change.

“Democracy
production” is a nice way for the U.S. to openly discuss regime
change operations, which ultimately have nothing to do with democracy
by their very nature given the U.S. is the extrinsic driving
force behind proposed changes.

As
Ahmed notes, much of the media programming funded by the State
Department has “focused
on glorifying the reign of the Shah of Iran, the brutal US-UK backed
dictator who was deposed by the 1979 revolution.” As The
Diplomat’s
recently published
article entitled
“Why Iran’s Monarchy Could Unite a Divided Country” concludes:

“[T]he legacy of
the Pahlavis, who themselves come from a humble background, is
‘modernism, secularism, and nationalism’, so perhaps today, a
combination of support from liberals, nationalists, exiles, and the
rural poor tired of being fleeced by clerics can lay the groundwork
for the reestablishment of a constitutional Iranian
monarchy” suddenly
makes a lot more sense in this context.

Despite
this noticeable propaganda effort, the Trump administration’s Iran
strategy ultimately went further than attempting to win the war of
ideas. One document entitled “Iran’s Foreign and Defense
Policies,” dated
February 6, 2017,
allegedly describes how the decision
to place Iran “officially on notice” was
to signal that “the
new Administration might change US rules of engagement to include the
use of deadly force in future incidents.” The
document also notes that these aggressive policies could indirectly
lead to the collapse of the 2015 nuclear accord, known as the Joint
Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). In order to achieve these aims,
the document seemed to indicate, a continued military relationship
with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states is pivotal.

Further,
a Congressional document entitled
“Iran: Politics, Human Rights and US Policy” dated February 17,
2017, stated the following:

“The
Trump Administration has not stated a position on whether it would
seek to change Iran’s regime, but its characterization of Iran as a
US adversary could suggest that the Administration
might support efforts to oust the Iranian regime should opportunities
to do so present themselves.” [emphasis
added]

However,
the tell-all moment in the document is the paragraph that explains
why the U.S. has not yet directly pursued regime change. The document
states:

“In
the absence of all-out US pursuit of regime change, successive
Administrations and Congress have promoted
political evolution in Iran through ‘democracy promotion’ and
sanctions on Iranian human rights abuses.” [emphasis
added]

As
Ahmed explains, “Iran democracy promotion” funds have
been “obligated through DRL [Bureau of Democracy, Human
Rights and Labor Affairs] and the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs in
partnership with USAID. Some of the funds have also been used for
cultural exchanges, public diplomacy, and broadcasting to Iran.”

The
U.S. government is also reportedly spending at least $33 million a
year on what Ahmed terms “soft propaganda” through its funding of
Radio Farda and the Voice of America (VOA)’s Persian Service to
spread anti-regime sentiment. In early 2017, the son of the late
Shah was actually
broadcast into
Iran via these two stations. He advocated “peaceful regime change”
through protest and civil disobedience. Remember this the next
time the intelligence
agencies release a report stating
Russian-owned media outlets RT and Sputnik are
to blame for landing Donald Trump in the White House.

While
full data for the year 2017 is not yet available, Ahmed argues that
USAID and State Department records reveal the U.S. spent over
$1,146,196 on various opposition groups in Iran from 2016 through the
Trump administration’s first year in office. These funds were
provided by the State Department through the National Endowment for
Democracy (NED).

When
contacted for comment, Ahmed told Anti-Media that
while “much of this figure is undoubtedly attributed to Obama,
the vast majority of the 2017 spend has not been published yet,”
also noting that the 2017 figure already “looks to be in the
order of a million plus.”

According
to Ahmed, from 2014 to 2017, the Obama and Trump administration’s
spent a total of $2,948,733 through the State Department to fund
opposition activists in Iran. NED records describing where the funds
were going outline that the mission was to “engage members of
the Iranian intelligentsia in public deliberation on the social,
economic and political prospects of a democratic Iran.”

Another
document reportedly states that the funds were for the purpose of
building “the capacity of Iranian citizens to conduct
community-level political process monitoring through a focused
training program.”

Ahmed
also highlights that one of the core ways the U.S. has sought to
exploit unrest in Iran is to target Iran’s looming water
crisis (something
we have seen
before in Syria).
While many of the protesters’ concerns about Iran’s current
situation are certainly justifiable, America’s decision to try to
involve itself and exploit unrest for its own gains arguably are not.
As Ahmed explains:

“While
the US government routinely uses Iran’s abysmal human rights record
as a core justification for its anti-regime efforts, its alliance
with similarly abusive Gulf regimes like Saudi Arabia – in the name
of isolating and weakening the Iranian regime – discredits the idea
that US policy is genuinely motivated by humanitarian or democratic
considerations.”

FBI, de spin in het Russiagate web……..

Er is al veel geschreven (althans in de alternatieve media) over de ware schuldigen achter Russiagate, met bewijzen werd en wordt aangetoond dat de geheime diensten FBI, CIA en NSA de ware schuldigen zijn achter Russiagate, waar overigens het campagneteam van hare kwaadaardigheid Clinton, aanstichter en mededader is…….

Gisteren op het blog van Stan van Houcke een artikel geschreven door Ray McGovern (ex-CIA) en gepubliceerd op de site van schrijver/journalist Paul Craig Roberts, die het overnam van Consortium News (kan je het nog volgen?). McGovern legt op een gedegen manier uit dat de FBI de ware grote dader is achter Russiagate.

Niet voor niets zegt nu zelfs de Wall Street Journal dat er een punt moet worden gezegd achter het Russiagate verhaal……. ha! Ha! Ha! Eerst liepen de persen van de Wall Street Journal zo hard op deze leugen dat ze bij wijze van spreken bijna vastliepen…….. Waar nu blijkt dat het Clinton campagneteam en de geheime diensten samen hebben gewerkt om te voorkomen dat Trump in het Witte Huis zou komen, wil deze bijna grootste krant van de VS dus een punt achter het enorme leugenverhaal dat Russiagate is………* 

Nogmaals toont een massamediaorgaan aan ‘fake news’ (of: nepnieuws) te hebben gebracht en daar het volk maandenlang over te hebben voorgelogen……

Lezen mensen, een geweldig stuk over dombo’s Strzak en Page, die dachten in het geheim te kunnen communiceren, maar van wie onlangs een eerste deel van hun lange correspondentie werd vrijgegeven en waardoor ten overvloede de FBI nog eens kan worden aangewezen als spin in het Russiagate web…….

The FBI Hand Behind Russia-gate

Russia-gate is becoming FBI-gate, thanks to the official release of unguarded text messages between loose-lipped FBI counterintelligence official Peter Strzok and his garrulous girlfriend, FBI lawyer Lisa Page. (Ten illustrative texts from their exchange appear at the end of this article.)

Despite his former job as chief of the FBI’s counterintelligence section, Strzok had the naive notion that texting on FBI phones could not be traced. Strzok must have slept through “Security 101.” Or perhaps he was busy texting during that class. Girlfriend Page cannot be happy at being misled by his assurance that using office phones would be a secure way to conduct their affair(s).

It would have been unfortunate enough for Strzok and Page to have their adolescent-sounding texts merely exposed, revealing the reckless abandon of star-crossed lovers hiding (they thought) secrets from cuckolded spouses, office colleagues, and the rest of us. However, for the never-Trump plotters in the FBI, the official release of just a fraction (375) of almost 10,000 messages does incalculably more damage than that.

We suddenly have documentary proof that key elements of the U.S. intelligence community were trying to short-circuit the U.S. democratic process. And that puts in a new and dark context the year-long promotion of Russia-gate. It now appears that it was not the Russians trying to rig the outcome of the U.S. election, but leading officials of the U.S. intelligence community, shadowy characters sometimes called the Deep State.

More of the Strzok-Page texting dialogue is expected to be released. And the Department of Justice Inspector General reportedly has additional damaging texts from others on the team that Special Counsel Robert Mueller selected to help him investigate Russia-gate.

Besides forcing the removal of Strzok and Page, the text exposures also sounded the death knell for the career of FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, in whose office some of the plotting took place and who has already announced his plans to retire soon.

But the main casualty is the FBI’s 18-month campaign to sabotage candidate-and-now-President Donald Trump by using the Obama administration’s Russia-gate intelligence “assessment,” electronic surveillance of dubious legality, and a salacious dossier that could never pass the smell test, while at the same time using equally dubious techniques to immunize Hillary Clinton and her closest advisers from crimes that include lying to the FBI and endangering secrets.

Ironically, the Strzok-Page texts provide something that the Russia-gate investigation has been sorely lacking: first-hand evidence of both corrupt intent and action. After months of breathless searching for “evidence” of Russian-Trump collusion designed to put Trump in the White House, what now exists is actual evidence that senior officials of the Obama administration colluded to keep Trump out of the White House – proof of what old-time gumshoes used to call “means, motive and opportunity.”

Even more unfortunately for Russia-gate enthusiasts, the FBI lovers’ correspondence provides factual evidence exposing much of the made-up “Resistance” narrative – the contrived storyline that The New York Times and much of the rest of the U.S. mainstream media deemed fit to print with little skepticism and few if any caveats, a scenario about brilliantly devious Russians that not only lacks actual evidence – relying on unverified hearsay and rumor – but doesn’t make sense on its face.

The Russia-gate narrative always hinged on the preposterous notion that Russian President Vladimir

Putin foresaw years ago what no American political analyst considered even possible, the political ascendancy of Donald Trump. According to the narrative, the fortune-telling Putin then risked creating even worse tensions with a nuclear-armed America that would – by all odds – have been led by a vengeful President Hillary Clinton.

Besides this wildly improbable storyline, there were flat denials from WikiLeaks, which distributed the supposedly “hacked” Democratic emails, that the information came from Russia – and there was the curious inability of the National Security Agency to use its immense powers to supply any technical evidence to support the Russia-hack scenario.

The Trump Shock

But the shock of Trump’s election and the decision of many never-Trumpers to cast their lot with the Resistance led to a situation in which any prudent skepticism or demand for evidence was swept aside.

So, on Jan. 6, 2017, President Obama’s Director of National Intelligence James Clapper released an evidence-free report that he said was compiled by “hand-picked” analysts from the CIA, FBI and NSA, offering an “assessment” that Russia and President Putin were behind the release of the Democratic emails in a plot to help Trump win the presidency.

Despite the extraordinary gravity of the charge, even New York Times correspondent Scott Shane noted that proof was lacking. He wrote at the time: “What is missing from the [the Jan. 6] public report is what many Americans most eagerly anticipated: hard evidence to back up the agencies’ claims that the Russian government engineered the election attack. … Instead, the message from the agencies essentially amounts to ‘trust us.’”

But the “assessment” served a useful purpose for the never-Trumpers: it applied an official imprimatur on the case for delegitimizing Trump’s election and even raised the long-shot hope that the Electoral College might reverse the outcome and possibly install a compromise candidate, such as former Secretary of State Colin Powell, in the White House. Though the Powell ploy fizzled, the hope of somehow removing Trump from office continued to bubble, fueled by the growing hysteria around Russia-gate.

Virtually all skepticism about the evidence-free “assessment” was banned. For months, the Times and other newspapers of record repeated the lie that all 17 U.S. intelligence agencies had concurred in the conclusion about the Russian “hack.” Even when that falsehood was belatedly acknowledged, the major news outlets just shifted the phrasing slightly to say that U.S. intelligence agencies had reached the Russian “hack” conclusion. Shane’s blunt initial recognition about the lack of proof disappeared from the mainstream media’s approved narrative of Russia-gate.

Doubts about the Russian “hack” or dissident suggestions that what we were witnessing was a “soft coup” were scoffed at by leading media commentators. Other warnings from veteran U.S. intelligence professionals about the weaknesses of the Russia-gate narrative and the danger of letting politicized intelligence overturn a constitutional election were also brushed aside in pursuit of the goal of removing Trump from the White House.

It didn’t even seem to matter when new Russia-gate disclosures conflicted with the original narrative that Putin had somehow set Trump up as a Manchurian candidate. All normal journalistic skepticism was jettisoned. It was as if the Russia-gate advocates started with the conclusion that Trump must go and then made the facts fit into that mold, but anyone who noted the violations of normal investigative procedures was dismissed as a “Trump enabler” or a “Moscow stooge.”

The Text Evidence

But then came the FBI text messages, providing documentary evivdence that key FBI officials involved in the Russia-gate investigation were indeed deeply biased and out to get Trump, adding hard proof to Trump’s longstanding lament that he was the subject of a “witch hunt.”

Justified or not, Trump’s feeling of vindication could hardly be more dangerous — particularly at a time when the most urgent need is to drain some testosterone from the self-styled Stable-Genius-in-Chief and his martinet generals.

On the home front, Trump, his wealthy friends, and like-thinkers in Congress may now feel they have an even wider carte blanche to visit untold misery on the poor, the widow, the stranger and other vulnerable humans. That was always an underlying danger of the Resistance’s strategy to seize on whatever weapons were available – no matter how reckless or unfair – to “get Trump.”

Beyond that, Russia-gate has become so central to the Washington establishment’s storyline that there appears to be no room for second-thoughts or turning back. The momentum is such that some Democrats and the media never-Trumpers can’t stop stoking the smoke of Russia-gate and holding out hope against hope that it will somehow justify Trump’s impeachment.

Yet, the sordid process of using legal/investigative means to settle political scores further compromises the principle of the “rule of law” and integrity of journalism in the eyes of many Americans. After a year of Russia-gate, the “rule of law” and “pursuit of truth” appear to have been reduced to high-falutin’ phrases for political score-setttling, a process besmirched by Republicans in earlier pursuits of Democrats and now appearing to be a bipartisan method for punishing political rivals regardless of the lack of evidence.

Strzok and Page

Peter Strzok (pronounced “struck”) has an interesting pedigree with multiple tasks regarding both Mrs. Clinton and Mr. Trump. As the FBI’s chief of counterespionage during the investigation into then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s unauthorized use of a personal email server for classified information, Strzok reportedly changed the words “grossly negligent” (which could have triggered legal prosecution) to the far less serious “extremely careless” in FBI Director James Comey’s depiction of Clinton’s actions. This semantic shift cleared the way for Comey to conclude just 20 days before the Democratic National Convention began in July 2016, that “no reasonable prosecutor” would bring charges against Mrs. Clinton.

Then, as Deputy Assistant Director of the Counterintelligence Division, Strzok led the FBI’s investigation into alleged Russian interference in the U.S. election of 2016. It is a safe bet that he took a strong hand in hand-picking the FBI contingent of analysts that joined “hand-picked” counterparts from CIA and NSA in preparing the evidence-free, Jan. 6, 2017 assessment accusing Russian President Vladimir Putin of interfering in the election of 2016. (Although accepted in Establishment groupthink as revealed truth, that poor excuse for analysis reflected the apogee of intelligence politicization — rivaled only by the fraudulent intelligence on “weapons of mass destruction“ in Iraq 15 years ago.)

In June and July 2017 Strzok was the top FBI official working on Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into possible links between the Trump campaign and Russia, but was taken off that job when the Justice Department IG learned of the Strzok-Page text-message exchange and told Mueller.

There is no little irony in the fact that what did in the FBI sweathearts was their visceral disdain for Mr. Trump, their cheerleading-cum-kid-gloves treatment of Mrs. Clinton and her associates, their 1950-ish, James Clapperesque attitude toward Russians as “almost genetically driven” to evil, and their (Strzok/Page) elitist conviction that they know far better what is good for the country than regular American citizens, including those “deplorables” whom Clinton said made up half of Trump’s supporters.

But Strzok/Page had no idea that their hubris, elitism and scheming would be revealed in so tangible a way. Worst of all for them, the very thing that Strzok, in particular, worked so hard to achieve — the sabotaging of Trump and immunization of Mrs. Clinton and her closest advisers is now coming apart at the seams.

Congress: Oversee? or Overlook?

At this point, the $64 question is whether the various congressional oversight committees will remain ensconced in their customarily cozy role as “overlook” committees, or whether they will have the courage to attempt to carry out their Constitutional duty. The latter course would mean confronting a powerful Deep State and its large toolbox of well-practiced retaliatory techniques, including J. Edgar Hoover-style blackmail on steroids, enabled by electronic surveillance of just about everything and everyone. Yes, today’s technology permits blanket collection, and “Collect Everything” has become the motto.

Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-New York, with almost four decades of membership in the House and Senate, openly warned incoming President Trump in January 2017 against criticizing the U.S. intelligence community because U.S. intelligence officials have “six ways from Sunday to get back at you” if you are “dumb” enough to take them on.

Thanks to the almost 10,000 text messages between Strzok and Page, only a small fraction of which were given to Congress four weeks ago, there is now real evidentiary meat on the bones of the suspicions that there indeed was a “deep-state coup” to “correct” the outcome of the 2016 election. We now know that the supposedly apolitical FBI officials had huge political axes to grind. The Strzok-Page exchanges drip with disdain for Trump and those deemed his smelly deplorable supporters. In one text message, Strzok expressed visceral contempt for those working-class Trump voters, writing on Aug. 26, 2016, “Just went to a southern Virginia Walmart. I could SMELL the Trump support. … it’s scary real down here.”

The texts even show Strzok warning of the need for an “insurance policy” to thwart Trump on the off-chance that his poll numbers closed in on those of Mrs. Clinton.

An Aug. 6, 2016 text message, for example, shows Page giving her knight in shining armor strong affirmation: “Maybe you’re meant to stay where you are because you’re meant to protect the country from that menace [Trump].” That text to Strzok includes a link to a David Brooks column in The New York Times, in which Brooks concludes with the clarion call: “There comes a time when neutrality and laying low become dishonorable. If you’re not in revolt, you’re in cahoots. When this period and your name are mentioned, decades hence, your grandkids will look away in shame.”

Another text message shows that other senior government officials – alarmed at the possibility of a Trump presidency – joined the discussion. In an apparent reference to an August 2016 meeting with FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, Strzok wrote to Page on Aug. 15, 2016, “I want to believe the path you threw out for consideration in Andy’s office — that there’s no way he [Trump] gets elected — but I’m afraid we can’t take that risk.”  Strzok added, “It’s like an insurance policy in the unlikely event that you die before you’re 40.”

Insurance Policy?

Senate Judiciary Committee chair Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, says he will ask Strzok to explain the “insurance policy” when he calls him to testify. What seems already clear is that the celebrated “Steele Dossier” was part of the “insurance,” as was the evidence-less legend that Russia hacked the DNC’s and Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta’s emails and gave them to WikiLeaks.

If congressional investigators have been paying attention, they already know what former weapons inspector Scott Ritter shared with Veteran intelligence Professionals for Sanity (VIPS) colleagues this week; namely, that Fusion GPS’s Glenn Simpson, who commissioned the Russia dossier using Democratic Party money, said he reached out to Steele after June 17, just three days before Steele’s first report was published, drawing on seven sources.

“There is a snowball’s chance in hell that this is raw intelligence gathered by Steele; rather he seems to have drawn on a single ‘trusted intermediary’ to gather unsubstantiated rumor already in existence.”

Another VIPS colleague, Phil Giraldi, writing out of his own experience in private sector consulting, added: “The fact that you do not control your sources frequently means that they will feed you what they think you want to hear. Since they are only doing it for money, the more lurid the details the better, as it increases the apparent value of the information. The private security firm in turn, which is also doing it for the money, will pass on the stories and even embroider them to keep the client happy and to encourage him to come back for more. When I read the Steele dossier it looked awfully familiar to me, like the scores of similar reports I had seen which combined bullshit with enough credible information to make the whole product look respectable.”

It is now widely known that the Democrats ponied up the “insurance premiums,” so to speak, for former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele’s “dossier” of lurid — but largely unproven — “intelligence” on Trump and the Russians. If, as many have concluded, the   dossier was used to help justify a FISA warrant to snoop on the Trump campaign, those involved will be in deep kimchi, if congressional overseers do their job.

How, you might ask, could Strzok and associates undertake these extra-legal steps with such blithe disregard for the possible consequences should they be caught? The answer is easy; Mrs. Clinton was a shoo-in, remember? This was just extra insurance with no expectation of any “death benefit” ever coming into play — save for Trump’s electoral demise in November 2016. The attitude seemed to be that, if abuse of the FISA law should eventually be discovered — there would be little interest in a serious investigation by the editors of The New York Times and other anti-Trump publications and whatever troubles remained could be handled by President Hillary Clinton.

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-South Carolina, who chairs the Judiciary Subcommittee of Judiciary on Crime and Terrorism, joined Sen. Grassley in signing the letter referring Christopher Steele to the Justice Department to investigate what appear to be false statements about the dossier. In signing, Graham noted the “many stop signs the Department of Justice ignored in its use of the dossier.” The signature of committee ranking member Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-California, however, was missing — an early sign that a highly partisan battle royale is in the offing.  On Tuesday, Feinstein unilaterally released a voluminous transcript of Glenn Simpson’s earlier testimony and, as though on cue, Establishment pundits portrayed Steele as a good source and Fusion GPS’s Glenn Simpson as a victim.

The Donnybrook is now underway; the outcome uncertain.

Hoorde
gistermiddag op BBC World Service radio rond 15.20 u., John Wolfsthal
van de Nuclear Crisis Group (zie tweede toegevoegde artikel). Hij
waarschuwde de wereld voor het gemak waarop de Trump administratie en Noord-Korea spreken over
een nucleaire aanval op de ander

Wolfsthal
sprak niet alleen over het niet hebben van een restrictie op dit
gebruik, dus alleen kernwapens inzetten als een andere partij zo’n
wapen op de VS loslaat, maar ook over een nieuwe strategie t.a.v. kernwapengebruik. Zoals de regelmatige lezer intussen weet:
meermaals heb ik gesteld dat onder Obama het kernwapen de status
verloor van afschrikkingswapen, heel dom van mij, zo blijkt…… Het
ging er destijds bij Obama, de Nobelprijs voor de Vrede winnaar (ha!
ha!) om, juist die restrictie in te voeren, echter daar was de Obama administratie uiteindelijk toch  tegen………

Wolfstahl
ziet grote problemen bij de nieuwe generatie kernwapens die de VS
laat fabriceren, daar zitten ‘kleine’ kernwapens tussen, die ‘alleen’
een stad verpulveren…… Vreemd trouwens dat hij zich zo gelaten
uitliet over deze op steden ‘gerichte’ kernwapens….. De Blockbusters
uit WOII waren al een schandalig wapen, immers erop gericht om
huizenblokken te vernielen…… (intussen een oorlogsmisdaad volgens het verdrag van Genève…..) Om
over de VS aanvallen met atoombommen op Hiroshima en Nagasaki maar te zwijgen….. Nu
doen ‘we’ het blijkbaar dunnetjes over met een Hiroshima 2.0
kernwapen……….. (‘uiteraard veel effectiever…..’)

Hoe is
het gvd mogelijk dat onze regering en de EU niet een keer de klep
opentrekken over alle kernwapens, de vernieuwing daarvan en het
zoeken naar ‘bruikbare kernwapens’, terwijl ze continu de vuilbek vol
hebben over Noord-Korea….. Noord-Korea probeert zich met hun zoektocht naar een kernwapen* te verdedigen tegen de ongebreidelde VS agressie >> zie hoeveel illegale
oorlogen deze grootste terreurentiteit op aarde heeft
ontketend in de loop van haar bestaan……. Daarnaast: in 1953 had de VS
luchtmacht geen doelen meer over om te bombarderen in Noord-Korea,
die vooral daardoor een vijfde van haar bevolking verloor in de Koreaanse
Oorlog……….. Vergeet niet dat beloften van de VS niets waard zijn, zo heeft o.a. Khadaffi van Libië ondervonden, voordat hij barbaars werd vermoord…..

Blijkbaar
kan uw regering wel leven met het feit, dat wij voor het grootste
deel uitgeroeid zullen worden in een kernoorlog, zij kunnen immers
‘lekker ondergronds….’

(ANTIWAR.COM) — With
the US forever investing more into their nuclear arsenal, ensuring
they have the world’s biggest collection of city destroying arms,
the fact that none have been used in over 70 years is a silver lining
to many, but within the administration, it may be a problem that
needs correcting.

Administration
officials are now said to both be hard at work acquiring smaller,
more “usable” nuclear weapons, and radically
changing the rules of engagement with respect to a US nuclear first
strike,
so that such attacks are more possible in the future.

While
some nuclear powers have ruled out ever launching a first strike, the
US has long refused to make such a position, with President Obama’s
brief consideration of such a pledge quickly panned as making the US
“look weak.”

Even
without the pledge, the current crop of arms are for all intents and
purposes unusable except in an extinction-level nuclear exchange.
Such a strike would simply be too big, and too much of a humanitarian
disaster to seriously contemplate.

is where these smaller nuclear arms come in. Pentagon officials see
the introduction of more tactical nuclear arms as a way to build arms
that are usable at a much lower threshold, and seem to be shrugging
off concerns that this will effectively normalize nuclear warfare.

Officials, Experts From 10 Countries Review Nuclear Flashpoints,

WASHINGTON,
D.C. — Today,
Global Zero’s Nuclear Crisis Group (NCG), a newly-formed team of
seasoned diplomats, military leaders and national security experts
from nuclear-armed and allied countries, released a set of urgent
recommendations to avoid the use of nuclear weapons and called on
national leaders to act now to reduce the unacceptably high risk of
nuclear conflict. The report comes as U.S. President Donald Trump
meets with South Korean President Moon Jae-in in Washington to
discuss, among other things, the escalating crisis on the Korean
Peninsula. Specifically:

  • The
    Nuclear Crisis Group calls for the United States and North Korea     to
    begin immediate discussions, without any preconditions, to reduce
    the risk of conflict. Full denuclearization through the “Six
    Party” process    ,
    including a freeze on nuclear and missile tests, production of
    nuclear materials, suspensions of military exercises, and
    negotiation of a formal peace regime will take time, but must not be
    allowed to prevent urgently needed discussions to avoid escalation
    of nuclear risk.  

  • The
    Nuclear Crisis Group welcomes the decision by the United States and
    Russia to resume serious strategic stability talks, which have yet
    to begin, and     urges
    both governments to fully utilize existing mechanisms for diplomatic
    and military-to-military dialogues. Both parties should move
    immediately to extend the New START agreement and resolve violations
    of the Intermediate-range Nuclear Forces Treaty, and fully implement
    agreements to establish nuclear risk reduction and data exchange
    centers.     Further
    steps to avoid and manage military incidents in the air and at sea
    are critical to avoiding nuclear risks, and all parties should
    reaffirm their desire to avoid nuclear use and refrain from making
    nuclear threats.

  • In
    South Asia, the Nuclear Crisis Group calls on India and Pakistan
    to     resume
    real risk reduction and strategic stability dialogues, declare their
    mutual desire to avoid nuclear weapons use, to keep battlefield
    nuclear weapons in storage only and to not deploy land-mobile
    nuclear systems.     The
    two parties should establish nuclear risk reduction centers,
    possibly using third-party satellite data, and discuss a bilateral
    or multilateral nuclear test moratorium.

  • The
    Nuclear Crisis Group     concludes
    the risks of nuclear escalation between the United States and China
    remains real and urges the states to fully implement existing
    accident-avoidance agreements, to avoid steps that could lead to
    military incidents,     including
    medium-altitude reconnaissance flights and militarization of
    newly-formed islands in the South China sea, and to expand
    military-to-military and diplomatic talks to include nuclear
    doctrine and transparency.

The
Group, co-chaired by Amb. Richard Burt, Gen. (ret.) James E.
Cartwright and Amb. Thomas Pickering, met last month in Vienna,
Austria to review specific nuclear flashpoints and developed
recommendations that can help prevent conflicts from escalating to
nuclear weapons use.  

“We
were fortunate to avoid the use of nuclear weapons during the Cold
War.  The danger that one of several local conflicts could grow
quickly to the nuclear level is very real,” said
Ambassador Richard Burt, co-chair of Global Zero’s Nuclear Crisis
Group.

“We
must prevent a serious problem from becoming catastrophic. Any use of
nuclear weapons anywhere would have global disastrous
consequences,” added
Ambassador Thomas Pickering, co-chair of Global Zero’s Nuclear
Crisis Group.

“We
continue to rely too heavily on nuclear weapons, and accept too much
risk, believing we can control escalation,” explained
former Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs James Cartwright (USMC,
Ret.), co-chair of Global Zero’s Nuclear Crisis Group. “The
norm of non-use is at risk and we are not paying enough attention to
those risks.”

“The
frozen Korean conflict could go hot at any minute and we have no
proven way to avoid escalation with North Korea,” said
Jon Wolfsthal, former special assistant to President Obama and senior
advisor to Global Zero. “We
have to address these risks before it is too late.”

The
Nuclear Crisis Group will continue to closely monitor nuclear
flashpoints and update its recommendations as international

Het
volgende artikel vond ik via Anti-Media, die me ‘linkte’ naar TheHill, echter het artikel van The Hill was niet over te
nemen, vandaar dit alternatief van de Huffington Post…….

Vanaf
1 januari jl. is het minimumloon in de VS verhoogt naar het schandalig lage federale
niveau van houd je vast: $ 7.25 per uur…….

Het
‘hoogste’ minimumloon verdient men sinds afgelopen maandag in de staat
Washington, met een bedrag van $ 11.50 per uur……….. Let wel, gezien de koers van de dollar het laatste jaar moet je daar voor omrekening naar euro’s nog eens rond de 20% van aftrekken, ofwel meer dan € 2,–…….

De VS,
het land van de ‘ongekende mogelijkheden’, althans voor de welgestelden en
ondernemers……..

Moet je
nagaan, het grootste deel van de republikeinen is zelfs tegen deze
armzalige loonsverhoging……. Wat een ploert moet je dan zijn, maar
op zondag zit dat inhumane geteisem uiteraard jubelend voor in de kerk….. 

Het is zelfs zo zot dat een aantal staten die republikeins worden bestuurd, wetten hebben aangenomen, waarin een verbod is opgenomen om op lokaal niveau de minimumlonen te verhogen, dit daar de bonden en arbeiders ‘iets teveel succes hadden’, met hun strijd voor een verhoging van het minimumloon….. Zo werd in St. Louis het minimumloon verlaagd van $ 10.– naar het federale minimumloon van $ 7.25 per uur (in het onderstaande artikel wordt daar gesproken over $ 7.70 per uur, echter dat moet zoals u eerder kon en zo kan lezen $ 7.25 zijn)…….

Minimum
Wage Raises Coming To 18 States On New Year’s Day

Some
hikes (loonsverhogingen, Ap)
are less than a quarter an hour. But when you’re making minimum
wage, every penny counts.

Minimum
wage workers in 18 states will get a pay hike next week when higher
wage floors go into effect around the country for 2018.

With
the federal minimum wage remaining just $7.25 per hour, more and more
states have opted to implement
their own, higher rates that
local employers must observe. Many of the bumps slated for New Year’s
Day come courtesy of recent ballot initiatives approved by voters or
bills passed by statehouses, in red and blue states alike.

Some
of those states have laws requiring that the minimum wage is adjusted
each year according to an inflation index, to rise with the cost of
living. So several of the raises amount to less than a quarter an
hour.

But
other states that recently enacted new laws will have more
significant increases. Maine’s will move a full dollar, to $10.
Hawaii’s will rise 85 cents, to $10.10. And Colorado’s will
increase 90 cents, to $10.20.

Here
are the states with new minimum wages, according to the Economic
Policy Institute, a think tank that tracks minimum wage legislation:

  • Alaska:
    $9.84, $.04 increase

  • Arizona:
    $10.50, $.50 increase

  • California:
    $11.00, $.50 increase

  • Colorado:
    $10.20, $.90 increase

  • Florida:
    $8.25, $.15 increase

  • Hawaii:
    $10.10, $.85 increase

  • Maine:
    $10.00, $1.00 increase

  • Michigan:
    $9.25, $.35 increase

  • Minnesota:
    $9.65, $.15 increase

  • Missouri:
    $7.85, $.15 increase

  • Montana:
    $8.30, $.15 increase

  • New
    Jersey: $8.60, $.16 increase

  • New
    York: $10.40, $.70 increase

  • Ohio:
    $8.30, $.15 increase

  • Rhode
    Island: $10.10, $.50 increase

  • South
    Dakota: $8.85, $.20 increase

  • Vermont:
    $10.50, $.50 increase

  • Washington:
    $11.50, $.50 increase

The
institute estimates that the raises will impact 4.5
million workers.

The
federal minimum wage hasn’t budged in more
than eight years and
prevails in any state that doesn’t mandate a higher one. The last
hike, in 2009, was the result of a series of increases signed into
law by President George W. Bush. President Barack
Obama stumped
for a minimum wage hike throughout his second term, but Republicans
in Congress blocked Democratic proposals from coming up for a vote.

Minimum
wage bumps tend to be popular with the general public, with support
often crossing partisan lines. A HuffPost
YouGov poll last
year found that more than half of all Americans thought a minimum
wage raise would be good for workers, while only a third thought it
would be a bad idea. The backing was greatest ― and most bipartisan
― for a modest hike to $10.10, as opposed to a bolder raise to $15.

Buoyed
by that support, labor unions and low-wage workers have succeeded in
getting raises passed on the state and local levels as the federal
rate has stayed stagnant. Voters have approved minimum wage
referendums even in more conservative states like Nebraska and South
Dakota. Twenty-nine states and the District of Columbia now require a
higher minimum wage than the federal one.

Dozens
of cities and counties have also raised their minimum wages beyond
the state and federal levels. In some cases, the hikes have gone as
high as $15 per hour ― the stated goal of the Fight for $15
campaign, the union-backed movement that began with striking
fast-food workers in 2012 but soon spread to other low-wage
industries.

All
that success by activists has prompted a backlash from Republican
state lawmakers seeking to rein in minimum wage hikes. More than two
dozen states
now have “preemption”
laws on
their books that block localities from implementing their own raises.
Many of these laws were passed in just the last few years to thwart
campaigns by workers and unions.

Just
this year, Republicans in Missouri passed a preemption law to
retroactively kill a minimum wage hike enacted by city leaders in St.
Louis. Under the new law, no locality could have a wage floor higher
than the one mandated by the state. As HuffPost reported in July, the
new law had the effect of reversing St.
Louis’ minimum wage, taking it from $10 to the current state level
of $7.70.

Protesten Iran opgezet door de VS en Israël

Moon
of Alabama bracht afgelopen vrijdag een bericht over de protesten in
Iraanse steden tegen de slechte economische omstandigheden. Volgens
de schrijver van het artikel is het duidelijk dat deze protesten
onderdeel uitmaken van een door de VS en Israël opgezette operatie
die in Iran tot een verandering van regime moet leiden. Gezien de enorme
kritiek, bol van leugens van deze 2 landen, overigens in samenspraak en innig overleg met de reli-fascistische dictatuur van
Saoedi-Arabië, is de kans bijzonder groot dat deze schrijver gelijk
heeft…….

Vergeet
niet dat dit de beproefde manier van werken is, die de VS al
meermaals heeft gebruikt, al is het succes ‘niet altijd even groot’,
neem Syrië……. Overigens een methode die veelal wordt
voorafgegaan door een economische oorlogsvoering van de VS middels een boycot en sancties tegen het
door de oorlogshitsers aangewezen doel, zie: Libië en Venezuela…… Daarmee krijg je uiteindelijk de mensen wel op
straat. Neem het gebrek aan medicijnen in Venezuela, deze is puur en
alleen aan de VS te danken en aan haar vazalstaten die aan Venezuela
grenzen……. 

Hetzelfde geldt voor levensmiddelen: een paar grote supermarktketens in Venezuela zijn in handen van VS ondernemingen, deze stopten al onder druk van ‘vredesduif’ Obama met het bevoorraden van de winkels…….. 

Terug naar Iran: de
schrijver van het artikel hieronder, ‘b’ stelt dat de protesten terecht zijn vanwege de zoals
deze het noemt (neo-) liberale koers die de regering Rohani vaart.
Wat deze b vergeet is de volkomen onterechte economische boycot tegen Iran, ingegeven door de VS, een boycot die z’n sporen nog steeds
dwars door Iran trekt….. Deze (VS) boycot werd eerder deels opgeheven onder Obama (n.a.v. de nucleaire deal met Iran), maar is intussen al weer ingesteld
door dezelfde VS (uiteraard onder de junta van het 666 beest Trump), de VS ofwel de grootste terreurentiteit op aarde…..

De
gematigde krachten in Iran hebben de laatste verkiezingen gewonnen en
het zou ons in het westen sieren, deze krachten de kans te geven om
langzaam veranderingen door te voeren. Als dit te snel gaat, grijpen
de fundamentalistische krachten de macht en moet ‘het spel’ van voren
af aan opnieuw gespeeld worden, zoals we eerder al gezien hebben, bijvoorbeeld in 2009 met de zogenaamde ‘Groene Revolutie….’ Logisch dus, dat Iraniërs die
verandering willen, allesbehalve geholpen zijn met een snelle omwenteling…… 

De
zogenaamde ‘arabische lente’, was dan ook in landen als Libië en
Syrië, een door de VS gecreëerde ‘lente…’ (nou zeg maar gerust: een zware, ijskoude winter…)

Een
herhaling van wat de VS in 1953 heeft geflikt, door de Iraanse
(destijds nog Perzisch genoemd) democratisch gekozen regering Mossadegh af te zetten
en een VS vriendelijke dictator in het zadel zetten is al zeker geen
oplossing*. Het is dan ook meer dan duidelijk, ook gezien de smerige
oorlog van het soennitische Saoedi-Arabië (met de volledige steun en
deels medewerking van de VS en GB) tegen de sjiitische moslims in Jemen,
dat de strijd van de VS, Israël en Saoedi-Arabië tegen Iran, vooral
een strijd is tegen de sjiieten, waar de VS haar eigen belangen in
het Midden-Oosten wil verstevigen, na het debacle in Syrie, waar de
VS een blauwtje liep met haar (terreur-) tactiek……

De
VS tactiek is het opzetten van een opstand tegen een regering, zoals
in het geval van Syrië, tegen het bewind Assad, een zaak waar de VS al
vanaf 2006 mee bezig was. De VS en Saoedi-Arabië hebben zelfs een
heel groot deel van de ‘gematigde rebellen’ (psychopathische
moordenaars en verkrachters) bewapend en vervoert richting Syrie,
zoals IS en Al Qaida leden vanuit Libie, dat onder VS terreur
(gesteund door de meeste NAVO landen en de NAVO zelf) meer dan 50
jaar in tijd werd teruggebombardeerd en werd veranderd in één grote
chaos, waar nu zelfs openlijk slavenmarkten worden gehouden…..
Libië, het eens rijkste land van Afrika is door ingrijpen van de VS
en een deel van het andere westen, veranderd in één van de armste
landen in Afrika…….

Intussen hebben zich al schotenwisselingen voorgedaan tussen de door het westen genoemde ‘vreedzame demonstranten’ en de politie…… Deze ‘vreedzame demonstranten’ zouden één of meerdere legerdepots hebben geplunderd……. In het nieuws van 12.00 u. op WDR 5 werd gemeld dat (‘vreedzame’, toevoeging Ap) demonstranten politiebureaus overvallen om zo aan meer wapens te komen…..

Iran
– Regime Change Agents Hijack Economic Protests

Yesterday
and today saw some small protests in Iran. They are probably the
first stage of a large “regime change” operation run by the
U.S. and Israel with the help of Iranian terrorist group.

Earlier
this month the White House and the Zionist prepared for
a new assault on Iran:

A
delegation led by Israel’s National Security Adviser met with senior
American officials in the White House earlier this month for a joint
discussion on strategy to counter Iran’s aggression in the Middle
East, a senior U.S. official confirmed to Haaretz.

Another
report about the meeting quotes Israeli
officials on the result:

“[T]he
U.S. and Israel see eye to eye the different developments in the
region and especially those that are connected to Iran. We reached at
understandings regarding the strategy and the policy needed to
counter Iran. Our
understandings deal with the overall strategy but also with concrete
goals, way of action and the means which need to be used to get
obtain those goals.“

This is
probably a result of the above meeting:

Hundreds
took to the streets of Iran’s second largest city of Mashad on
Thursday to protest over high prices, shouting slogans against the
government.

Videos
posted on social media showed demonstrators in Mashad in northwest
Iran, one of the holiest places in Shia Islam, chanting “death to
(President Hassan) Rouhani” and “death to the dictator”.

The
semi-official ILNA news agency and social media reported
demonstrations in other cities in Razavi Khorasan Province, including
Neyshabour and Kashmar.

A video of
that protest in Mashad showed some 50 people chanting slogans with
more bystander just milling around.

Protests
against the (neo-) liberal economic policies of the Rohani government
in Iran are justified. Official unemployment in Iran is above 12% and
there is hardly any economic growth. The people in the streets are
not the only ones who are dissatisfied with this:

Iran’s
Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who has repeatedly criticized
the government’s economic record, said on Wednesday that the nation
was struggling with “high prices, inflation and recession”, and
asked officials to resolve the problems with determination.

On
Thursday and today the slogans of some protesters turned the call for
economic relief into a call for regime change.

My
hunch is that the usual suspects are behind these protests. Note that
these started in several cities at the same time. This was not some
spontaneous local uproar in one city but had some form of
coordination.


Then
there is this:

Reports
of signals of international satellite TV networks jammed in large
cities of Iran. Would be sign of regime fear of today’s protests
spreading.

A
search in various languages finds exactly zero such “reports”.
Carl Bildt is a former Swedish prime minister. He was recruited in
1973 as
a CIA
informant and
has since grown into a full blown U.S. asset. He was involved
in the Ukraine coup and
tried to personally profit from it.

The
only response to Bildt’s tweet was from one Riyad
Swed‏ – @SwedRiyad who
posted several videos of protests with one of them showing burning
police cars.**

I
am not sure the video is genuine. The account has some unusual
attributes (active since September 2016, 655 tweets but only 32
followers?).


Just
yesterday one
lecture at
the CCC “hacker” congress was about the British GHCQ Secret
Service and its sock-puppet accounts on Twitter and Facebook. These
are used for acquiring human intelligence and for running “regime
change” operations. Page 14-18 of the slides (11:20 min) cite
from obtained GCHQ papers which lists Iran as one of the targets. The
speaker specifically notes a GCHQ account “@2009Iranfree”
which was used in generating the protests in Iran after the
reelection of then President Ahmedinejad.


Today,
Friday and the weekly day off in Iran, several more protest took
place in other cities. A Reuters reportfrom
today:

About
300 demonstrators gathered in Kermanshah after what Fars called a
“call by the anti-revolution” and
shouted “Political prisoners should be freed” and “Freedom or
death”, while destroying some public property. Fars did not name
any opposition groups.
…
Footage, which could not be
verified, showed protests in other cities including Sari and Rasht in
the north, Qom south of Tehran, and Hamadan in the west.

Mohsen
Nasj Hamadani, deputy security chief in Tehran province, said about
50 people had rallied in a Tehran square and most left after being
asked by police, but a few who refused were “temporarily detained”,
the ILNA news agency reported.

Some
of these protests have genuine economic reasons but get hijacked by
other interests:

In
the central city of Isfahan, a resident said protesters
joined a rally held by factory workers demanding back wages.

“The
slogans quickly changed from the economy to those against (President
Hassan) Rouhani and the Supreme Leader (Ayatollah Ali Khamenei),”
the resident said by telephone.
…
Purely
political protests are rare in Iran […] but demonstrations
are often held by workers over
layoffs or non-payment of salaries and people who hold deposits in
non-regulated, bankrupt financial institutions.
…
Alamolhoda,
the representative of Ayatollah Khamenei in northeastern Mashhad,
said a
few people had taken advantage of Thursday’s protests against
rising prices to chant slogans against Iran’s role in regional
conflicts.
…
“Some
people had came to express their demands, but suddenly,
in a crowd of hundreds, a small group that did not exceed 50 shouted
deviant and horrendous slogans such
as ‘Let go of Palestine’, ‘Not Gaza, not Lebanon, I’d give my
life (only) for Iran’,” Alamolhoda said.

Two videos posted
by BBC Persian and others I have seen show only small active protest
groups with a dozen or so people while many more are just standing by
or film the people who are chanting slogans.

Videos
published by the terrorist
group Mujahedin-e
Khalq [MEK], 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,
also show mostly small protests despite the MEK’s claim of Tens
of thousands of people chant “death to dictator”.
The MEK, or its “civilian” organization National Council of
Resistance of Iran , seem to be most involved in the current
protests. Its website is
currently filled with the protest issue with a total of ten reports
and its head figure issued a
supportive statement:

Mrs.
Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, saluted the
heroic people of Kermanshah and other cities who rose up today
chanting “death or freedom”, “death to Rouhani”, “death to
the dictator”, and “political prisoners must be freed”, and
protested against high prices, poverty and corruption.

She
said, “Yesterday Mashhad, today Kermanshah, and tomorrow throughout
Iran; this uprising has tolled the death knell for the overthrow of
the totally corrupt dictatorship of the mullahs, and is the rise of
democracy, justice and popular sovereignty.

This
very early engagement of the MEK -its first
report was
published yesterday at 10:26 am- is extremely suspicious.

In
2012 it was reported that Israel had
used the
MEK terrorist organization to assassinate nuclear scientists in Iran:

On
Thursday, U.S. officials speaking to NBC news claimed that Mossad
agents were training members of the dissident terror group People’s
Mujahedin of Iran in order assassinate Iranian nuclear scientists,
adding that the administration of U.S. President Barack Obama was
aware of the operation, but had no direct link to them.

The
U.S. officials reportedly confirmed the link between Israel and the
People’s Mujahedin of Iran (MEK), with one official saying: “All
your inclinations are correct.”

In
October a CATO Institute paper analyzed (and
rejected) several options for U.S. handling Iran. Under Option Three:
“Regime
Change from Within”
it noted:

In
this approach, the United States would pressure the Iranian regime
and simultaneously back
groups that oppose it-whether the exiled extremist National Council
of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), pro-democracy
Green Revolution factions, or
ethnic minorities within Iran-a
strategy advocates often compare to Reagan’s support for civil
society groups in the Soviet Union.
…
[A] proponent of
“coerced democratization,” the Foundation for Defense of
Democracies’ Mark Dubowitz, urged President Trump to “go on the
offensive against the Iranian regime” by “weakening
the Iranian regime’s finances” through “massive economic
sanctions,” while also “undermin[ing] Iran’s rulers by
strengthening pro-democracy forces” inside
Iran. This
option appears to be gaining traction in the Trump administration’s
ongoing Iran policy review and has received public support from
Tillerson. CIA Director Mike Pompeo also favored such an approach
during his time in Congress.

The
MEK/NCRI noted that
Senator Tom Cotton, who will likely replace CIA chief Pompeo when
Pompeo moves to the State Department, issued a supportive statement
for the protests.

The
White House and the Netanyahoo regime agreed on a strategy towards
Iran. Major members of the Trump administration are in favor of
“regime change” by “pro-democracy forces” in
Iran. A few weeks after an agreement was found, coordinated economic
protests start in Iran which are soon hijacked by small groups of
very active regime changers. A group of Iranian exile terrorists,
well known for deadly collaboration with Israeli spies as well as for
having operation cells in Iran, is highly engaged in the protest from
very early on.

If
this the “regime change” operation I presume, the protests
will soon get bigger. When the people need money a few thousand
dollars are enough to create a large crowd. Small groups will riot
while hiding within the larger protests of maybe genuinely concerned
people. The “western” media will engage with their usual
pseudo liberal humanism and concern trolling. When the police in Iran
tries to arrest those rioters who are raising havoc the media will
scream “brutality”. Some “martyr” will be created
and iconified. Rumors of censorship and suppression will be raised
(see Carl Bildt above), fake news will come from everywhere and
hundreds of sock puppet Twitter and Facebook accounts will suddenly
be “Iranian” and breathlessly report “from the scene”
of their Langley offices.

For
the Iranian politicians and police the issue is tricky. Economic
protests are clearly justified with even Khameni voicing support for
the issue. But rioting in the streets must be suppressed before it
further escalates and becomes uncontrollable. Weapons on the
protesters site firing in all directions may soon become a problem.
The Mossad and the MEK are not shy of killing random people.

But
the Islamic Republic in Iran has genuine support in large parts of
the society. There are big civil organizations that support the
government – not on every issue but in its general framework. Most
Iranian’s are proud nationalists and will be difficult to divide. If
this is indeed the “regime change” attempt I suspect, I
predict that it will fail.

Ontving afgelopen zondag een artikel van Jim Carey op Anti-Media. Hierin het nieuws dat de VS nu officieel wapens gaan leveren aan de Porosjenko junta in Oekraine…….

Volgens Carey leverde de VS tot nu toe alleen niet dodelijke ‘wapens’ aan Kiev, zoals voertuigen en zaken als hard- en software. Hier moet ik Carey echter tegenspreken, de VS leverde via via al veel eerder wel degelijk dodelijke wapens aan Kiev, ook al ging dit niet middels de officiële weg, leveringen van wapens waarvoor de CIA de coördinatie heeft gedaan……. Het gaat hier voor het grootste deel om wapens die uit Oost-Europa komen en die de Porosjenko kliek voor een appel en ei kon verwerven…..

De beslissing van de VS nu ook openlijk wapens te verkopen, zet de boel in Oost-Europa nog verder op scherp…… Ook Canada, dat zich meer en meer ontwikkelt als een onderaannemer van de VS (zoals Groot-Brittannie), nam eerder al de beslissing Oekraïne verder vol te proppen met wapens…..

Uiteraard doet men e.e.a. zogenaamd tegen Russische agressie in Oost-Oekraïne, terwijl daar één grote agressor is: het Oekraïense leger en dan m.n. de neonazi bataljons, die keer op keer de gesloten wapenstilstanden schenden en burgerdoelen beschieten, een oorlogsmisdaad volgens het verdrag van Genève…………..

De reguliere westerse media, het overgrote deel van de westerse politici en ‘opiniemakers’ (zoals die van HCSS* en Clingendael) houden de westerse bevolkingen keer op keer voor, dat het Russische leger in Oost-Oekraïne vecht, iets waarvoor men niet een flinter bewijs kan leveren, maar dat maakt niet uit: als je de leugens blijft herhalen, gelooft het gros van de mensen deze anti-Russische propaganda…. Ik zeg het nog maar eens: als het Russische leger daadwerkelijk mee had gevochten in Oost-Oekraïne, was heel Oekraïne al lang bevrijd van de uiterst corrupte neonazi-kliek in Kiev!!

De VS heeft overigens wel militairen in Oekraïne, waar men zelfs oefent op landingen (voor actie tegen De Krim), iets waar de reguliere westerse (massa-) media liever niet over berichten……..

Kortom: weer laat het westen zien niet geïnteresseerd te zijn in vrede, de oorlogsgod moet geëerd worden, u weet wel de god die zich bedient van het militair-industrieel complex en die vooral wordt aanbeden door de VS en de rest van het westen………

Agrees to Arm Ukraine

In
a move likely to further erode US-Russian relations, the Trump regime
has approved weapons sales to Ukraine.

(GPA) — While
Trump apologists spent last week pretending the US President was
finally making good on his promise “to improve relations with
Russia” by helping
foil a terror attack,
behind the scenes a much more despicable decision developed. This
decision, announced earlier this week, gives the green-light for US
arms dealers to sell
certain “defensive” weapons to
Ukraine, as opposed to the previous non-lethal support received by
Kiev.

While
it may be true that the US has been backing the military junta in
Ukraine since the days of the Maidan ‘protests,’ under the Obama
regime this support was limited to non-lethal materials such as
vehicles and intel equipment. Obama clearly had no problem propping
up these reactionary forces, but the US still didn’t cross the line
of arming Kiev’s soldiers until now.

Now
before our pro-Trump readers go off blaming the “deep state” for
this latest move, it must be said that a top White House official has
allegedly told the Washington
Post that
Trump personally signed off on this. The desire to make this decision
is also a publicly known priority of some of Trump’s top security
advisers including Secretary of State Rex Tillerson.

Initially
the move to arm Ukraine was approved by the US Congress but was
heavily restricted by the Obama regime. Despite this bill passing
years ago, most senators weren’t personally invested in this
initial vote. However, a few zealots celebrate today. One such is the
neocon Bob Corker who told reporters he was “pleased the
administration approved the sale,” and that “This decision was
supported by Congress in legislation that became law three years ago
and reflects our country’s longstanding commitment to Ukraine in
the face of ongoing Russian aggression.”

The
US already has troops stationed in Ukraine and recently hosted NATO
drills which they invited Ukrainian soldiers to attend, but now with
the approval of arms sales, albeit only small arms such as Model
M107A1 Sniper Systems, the US has crossed a new line. Canada also
recently changed
their policy to
allow weapons sales to Ukraine signaling a possible larger shift of
NATO member policies.

This
move is, of course, occurring in an atmosphere of heightened tensions
between the west and Russia and is just the latest escalation in
Eastern Europe, where NATO troops have been massing for the last few
years. It has still never been independently verified that Russia
directly supports the rebels in east Ukraine against the forces of
Kiev (who continuously violate ceasefires), but with a partner as
unreliable as President Petro Poroshenko, the US arms sales will
likely be responsible for future murder and a possible PR victory for
Moscow.

De laatste tijd zijn er een meerdere berichten gepubliceerd, waarin bewijzen worden gegeven voor VS (CIA) leveringen van wapens en raketten aan IS. Oké, dit is al veel langer bekend, maar het kan geen kwaad een paar van deze berichten te publiceren, zeker daar de reguliere westerse (massa-) media deze berichten niet brengen, of deze berichten worden hooguit door één of twee reguliere mediaorganen gepubliceerd (dat laatste geldt niet voor de twee hieronder opgenomen artikelen)

Het eerste artikel hieronder komt van Middle East Eye (MEE) dat ik vond via Anti-Media, het betreft hier VS wapenleveringen aan ‘gematigde rebellen’ (psychopathische moordenaars, verkrachters en martelbeulen) in Syrië, wapens en munitie die echter voor een groot deel belanden bij hun collega’s van IS……

Jammer dat de schrijver van dit artikel niet ook heeft gekeken naar het feit, dat de CIA grote hoeveelheden ‘Russische wapens’ kocht in Oost-Europa en deze wapens aan terreurgroepen leverde in Syrië (iets dat o.a. in het daarna volgende artikel wordt beschreven). Al is het ongetwijfeld zo dat IS ook grote hoeveelheden wapens heeft buitgemaakt, o.a. op het reguliere Syrische leger.

Het artikel daaronder komt oorspronkelijk van BuzzFeed News en werd door mij overgenomen via Information Clearing House (ICH). In dit artikel het verhaal hoe o.a. raketten via Oost-Europese EU landen in handen komen van (o.a.) IS. Onder het laatste bericht 2 video’s, waarvan de tekst bij de laatste video verwijst naar drie berichten, de eerste is overigens het eerste artikel van MEE direct hieronder. Voor een reportage over deze zaak werd een Bulgaarse journalist ontslagen, zonder dat de EU er ook maar één woord aan vuil maakte……. ‘Leve’ de nieuwe fascistische wereldorde in wording…….

Jammer ook dat men niet rept over de minstens 2 wapenleveringen van de VS direct aan IS, leveringen gedaan in Irak…..

Met deze artikelen wordt eens te meer duidelijk gemaakt dat het eerste doel van de VS in Syrië, niet IS was en is, maar de democratisch gekozen regering Assad (in door internationale waarnemers als eerlijk beoordeelde verkiezingen!). De VS stond dan ook samen met Saoedi-Arabië en Israël aan de wieg van IS en andere terreurgroepen….. De VS was al vanaf 2006 bezig de omverwerping van het Assad regime voor te bereiden. Voorts hebben Saoedi-Arabië en de VS terroristen van o.a. IS overgebracht naar Irak en Syrië, waar deze landen ook nog eens verantwoordelijk zijn voor de financiering (m.n. S-A) en de militaire training van de psychopathische moordenaars………

Weapons
provided by the US to Syrian rebel factions ended up in the hands of
the Islamic State (IS) group, a new report has revealed.

According
to Conflict Armament Research (CAR), an organisation that tracks arm
shipments, military equipment including anti-tank weapons that were
secretly transferred by CIA to rebels fighting Bashar al-Assad were
in IS possession within two months of leaving the factory.

The
study, which was funded by the European Union and Germany, examined
40,000 weapons and equipment recovered from IS in the last three
years, as the group’s “caliphate” continues to shrink in
the face of losses in Raqqa and Mosul.

It
concluded that projects to provide weapons to rebel groups had
“significantly augmented the quantity and quality of weapons
available to (Islamic State) forces.”

“Supplies
of materiel into the Syrian conflict from foreign parties – notably
the United States and Saudi Arabia – have indirectly allowed IS to
obtain substantial quantities of anti-armour ammunition,” read
the report. “These weapons include ATGWs and several varieties
of rocket with tandem warheads, which are designed to defeat modern
reactive armour.  – Conflict

“These
systems continue to pose a significant threat to the coalition of
troops arrayed against IS forces.”

It
added that it could not confirm whether the weapons had ended up with
IS as a result of them being sold or because they had been seized.

US
weaponry has been used by IS since at least 2014 when the group swept
across Iraq and seized larges swathes of territory.

As
the US-trained Iraqi army collapsed in their wake, much of their
equipment was appropriated.

The
covert programme to funnel weaponry and equipment to rebels fighting
the Assad government began under Barack Obama in 2013, but was ended
in July by Donald Trump.

Attempts
to train rebel fighters across the border in Turkey also saw weaponry
end up in the hands of militant groups –  the CIA-trained
Division 30, a group of roughly 70 fighters sent into northern Syria
to fight IS, were attacked by
the al-Qaeda-linked al-Nusra Front who captured their weapons.

The
report also added that more than 50 percent of the weaponry used by
IS was manufactured by China and Russia, largely from equipment
captured from the government of Iraq and Syria.

“China
produced the majority of the materiel (weapons and ammunition
combined) fielded by the group in both countries,” said the
report. “However, Russian-manufactured weapons outnumber Chinese
weapons deployed by IS forces in Syria – presumably reflecting
Russian supplies to the Syrian regime.

“These
findings support widespread assumptions that the group initially
captured much of its military materiel from Iraqi and Syrian
government forces.”

More
than 340,000 people have been killed in Syria since the conflict
broke out in March 2011 with protests against Assad’s rule that
sparked a brutal crackdown.

Blowback: ISIS Got A Powerful Missile The CIA Secretly Bought In Bulgaria

A new report on how ISIS built its arsenal highlights how the US purchased munitions, intended for Syrian rebels, that ended up in the hands of the terrorist group.

December 14, 2017 “Information Clearing House” – A guided anti-tank missile ended up in the hands of ISIS terrorists less than two months after the US government purchased it in late 2015 — highlighting weaknesses in the oversight and regulation of America’s covert arms programs, according to information published Thursday by an arms monitoring group called Conflict Armament Research (CAR).

Though the report says the missile was purchased by the US Army using a contractor, BuzzFeed News has learned that the real customer appears to have been the CIA. It was part of the spy agency’s top secret operation to arm rebels in Syria to fight the forces of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. The missile ended up in the hands of ISIS fighters in Iraq, according to the report.

The CIA declined to comment on the Obama-era program to back Syrian rebels, which was canceled by President Trump in July. The Pentagon did not provide information in time for publication.

The missile is one piece of a critical puzzle that is being solved only now, with ISIS on the run: How did the vast terror group arm its war machine? CAR spent three years tracking ISIS weapons as they were recovered by Iraqi, Syrian, and Kurdish forces — and found that what happened to the missile was no aberration. Indeed, the terror group managed to divert “substantial quantities of anti-armour ammunition” from weapons provided to Syrian opposition forces by the US or Saudi Arabia.


The anti-tank missile recovered from ISIS in February 2016. It had been shipped to the US Army in December 2015.

As BuzzFeed News has reported, the US equips proxy armies in Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan with weapons such as AK-47s and rocket-propelled grenades made in Russia and Eastern Europe.

The investigators from CAR found that the policy has sometimes backfired, allowing America’s enemies to obtain arms meant for its allies. “Evidence collected by CAR indicates that the United States has repeatedly diverted EU-manufactured weapons and ammunition to opposition forces in the Syrian conflict,” the report states. ISIS, it continues, “rapidly gained custody of significant quantities of this materiel.”

The report lists 12 cases where Eastern European weapons originally sent to the US military or US contractors appear to have been diverted, somehow, to ISIS.

The weapon purchased by the US government in 2015, a 9M111B missile, is highly portable and can land a devastating charge with pinpoint accuracy on tanks, trucks, or buildings.

BuzzFeed News has been tracking the CIA’s procurement of 9M111 missiles as part of the deal for three years. In 2014, the CIA issued a contract to obtain 600 such missiles to Kiesler Police Supply, two sources said. Kiesler is a small Indiana company that frequently contracts with the CIA, according to experts in arms dealing. According to the CAR report, the contract for the missile that ended up in the possession of ISIS was handled by Kiesler.

The Indiana firm acquired those missiles from a Bulgarian company called SAGE Consulting, sources familiar with the transaction told BuzzFeed News. Bulgaria is a major source of the weapons that the US and other powers use to arm client armies.

In an email this summer, Kiesler declined to discuss the issue, writing that “we are not contractually authorized to disclose any information.” The company also insisted it was not to blame for where the weapons ended up. “Once Kiesler delivers its products to the customer, it does not have visibility with respect to the Government’s handling, use or disposition of the material,” it said.

On Wednesday, a woman who answered the phone at Kiesler hung up immediately. Then, after she was called again, she said that “we don’t talk to the media.”

SAGE, a well-known broker in the Bulgarian capital Sofia, declined a request for interviews with BuzzFeed News. But two Bulgarian arms dealers say SAGE has indeed been manufacturing the 9M111 missile, at a factory called VMZ, for the US government. “They make them only for the Americans,” one said, adding that the US buys as many as SAGE can manufacture.

Two sources familiar with the Syrian opposition told BuzzFeed News in 2015 that the CIA had begun to set up and train small tank-killing units of rebels. Each of these small units was planned as a force multiplier, which could enter a battle and effectively knock out Syrian armored positions, leveling the battlefield for the rebels.

In its report, CAR says the missile was originally purchased in Bulgaria by the US on Dec. 15, 2015. Just 59 days later, it was recovered in Ramadi, Iraq, after it had been fired by ISIS in combat.

In its report, CAR said a photo showed a US-backed Syrian rebel group, Jaysh al-Nasr, firing a missile that is identical to the one recovered from ISIS in Ramadi. The serial numbers on the ISIS missile and on one fired by Jaysh al-Nasr suggest that the two missiles were “part of the same supply chain,” according to CAR’s report.

A source close to the Syrian opposition said Jaysh al-Nasr fights chiefly in the north of Hama province, and was indeed aided by the CIA in Turkey. Two sources said the group received anti-tank missiles from the CIA.

It’s unclear how a missile provided to Jaysh al-Nasr in Syria would have ended up across the Iraqi border in ISIS hands.

A former Syrian opposition figure said rebels were vetted to the best of the CIA’s ability. The rebels, he said, were cautioned that every time they fired a weapon, they had to bring back the empty casings to prove they had in fact fired it rather than stolen or traded it.

Het meer dan stukke kompas van BNR voor ‘de in gewikkelde wereldpolitiek door Trump’, Bernard Hammelburg, heeft zijn column, die hij gisteren uitsprak voor BNR, geheel gewijd aan de Nobelprijs voor de Vrede en dan m.n aan de winnaar van dit jaar: Beatrice Fihn van ICAN, een organisatie die zich inzet tegen het bezit van kernwapens……..

Vooral de uitlating van Fihn dat we maar een driftbui verwijderd zijn van een kernoorlog, waarmee Fihn een driftbui van Trump en Kim Yung-un bedoelde, stak hem nogal en daarom zette hij dit weg als grote nonsens……. Echter Hammelburg vergeet wel even dat de nucleaire grootmachten VS en Groot-Brittannië vorig jaar te kennen gaven, het kernwapen niet langer als afschrikkingswapen te zien, maar als eerste aanvalswapen……. Anders gezegd deze landen sluiten een kernoorlog in de nabije toekomst niet uit!!

Een zaak die destijds zwaar onterecht maar weinig aandacht kreeg in de reguliere westerse media, echter toen Rusland als reactie op dit nieuwe beleid van de VS en GB aankondigde, zelf zo’n aanval niet uit te sluiten, stond de westerse wereld op haar kop, uiteraard opgezweept door diezelfde reguliere (massa-) media en het merendeel van de westerse politici (veelal lobbyisten van het militair-industrieel complex)…… Dit in een tijd waarin deze media en politici Rusland zo ongeveer van alles wat misgaat de schuld gaven (en nog steeds de schuld geven)………

Het is ronduit schandalig dat de EU geen kik gaf nadat de VS en Groot-Brittannië te kennen gaven niet uit te sluiten dat zij een kernoorlog zouden kunnen beginnen……..

Neem daarbij de situatie wat betreft het Witte Huis in ogenschouw en je zal zien dat Trump is verworden tot een marionet van de militairen die hem daar omringen…… Voeg daar het feit aan toe dat Trump een ondoordachte gewelddadige psychopaat is, die al eens kruisraketten liet afschieten op een Syrisch vliegveld als vergelding voor een aanval met gifgas. Een aanval die door het reguliere Syrische leger zou zijn gepleegd, waarvan later bleek dat de ‘gematigde rebellen’ (gesteund door het westen en m.n. door de VS) hiervoor verantwoordelijk waren……. Trump ging over tot deze actie, nadat hij een eerste bericht over die aanval op tv had gezien………. Nee, hoe kom je erbij dat deze psychopaat zomaar op de knop zou kunnen drukken, waarbij zijn vinger zal worden bediend door de oorlogshitsers die hem ter zijde staan……..

Wat dat betreft heeft Fihn het gelijk aan haar kant. Echter wat zowel Hammelburg als Fihn vergeten, is het feit dat Noord-Korea niet eens een atoombom heeft!!! (er is nooit radioactieve straling boven de plek van de ondergrondse Noord-Koreaanse kernproef aangetoond……)

Bovendien had Hammelburg even verder moeten lezen dan zijn neus lang is, dan had hij gezien dat Fihn veel van zijn waandenkbeelden deelt en derhalve al nooit de Nobelprijs voor de Vrede had mogen krijgen!!

Over die Nobelprijs voor de vrede gesproken: Hammelburg stelde terecht dat een aantal mensen, waaronder Obama en Aung San Suu Kyi, deze Nobelprijs onterecht kregen. Lullig dat hij niet ook even Kissinger noemde, maar deze massamoordenaar zal wel een lichtend voorbeeld zijn voor Hammelburg……….. Gegarandeerd dat Hammelburg verontwaardigd was dat Obama de Nobelprijs voor de vrede kreeg, daar hij deze kreeg toen hij nog maar net fungeerde als president van de VS en niet vanwege de illegale oorlogen die Obama in zijn ambtstermijn voortzette en begon, zoals die tegen Libië….

Nee, dan de Nobelprijs voor de Vrede die gaat dit jaar naar de bizarre trendy lobbyclub ICAN, die strijd voor het uitbannen van kernwapens.

De onnozele directeur Beatrice Fihn van NGO-coalitie ICAN zei afgelopen zaterdag in een interview in de Volkskrant o.a. letterlijk het volgende:

Flynn, voormalig adviseur van Trump heeft toegegeven dat hij heeft
gelogen tegen de FBI, een dienst die zelf één van de meest leugenachtige organen is van de vele VS inlichtingendiensten (ofwel geheime diensten).

Nog
steeds wordt er ophef gemaakt over contacten met bepaalde Russen,
terwijl dat de normaalste zaak van de wereld is voor een aankomende
administratie in de VS! Zo hebben de leden van een aankomende VS regering altijd contacten met vertegenwoordigers en leden van de Israëlische regering, die haar belangen wil
veilig stellen bij de komende VS regering…….

In
de lobby voor deze belangen, worden niet zelden kapitalen
uitgegeven om gunsten te kopen……

Dat
is nu precies het vreemde aan deze zaak: waarom maakt men zich wel
druk om contacten met bijvoorbeeld de Russische ambassadeur, maar
niet als dit een Israëlische ambassadeur en leden van het
Israëlische kabinet betreft……

Nog
vreemder: Netanyahu, de Palestijnen slachter en premier van de
gestolen staat Palestina, gaat wel even wat verder met het
beïnvloeden van het VS publiek, zoals hij zelfs bij een bezoek in 2015 aan de VS durfde te
doen. Daar las hij NB in het Congres de regering Obama de les over de nucleaire deal met Iran, zonder dat daar onmiddellijk een onderzoek naar werd gestart, een onderzoek naar de ongeoorloofde beïnvloeding van het VS volk………. 

Noch wordt er ooit een onderzoek ingesteld naar de vele
achterbakse deals die met de fascistische apartheidsstaat Israël werden en worden gemaakt, laat staan dat men onderzoek doet naar ongeoorloofde
beïnvloeding van VS burgers en dat NB op de nationale
televisie zenders in de VS (waar de gebeurtenissen in het Congres werden uitgezonden tijdens het voornoemde bezoek van Netanyahu aan de VS….)……..

Overigens zijn dergelijke contacten ook heel normaal als het om de reli-fascistische dictatuur Saoedi-Arabië gaat…….

Wel
laat de bekentenis van Flynn nog eens zien, hoever lobby kan reiken (en rieken), een zaak die
echt niet alleen voor de VS is weggelegd, reken maar dat de
bedrijfslobbyisten in Den Haag overuren en enorme kosten hebben
gemaakt, tijdens de lange regeringsformatie van Rutte 3…… En
zoals we nu weten met succes: de grote bedrijven en aandeelhouders
worden door dit nieuwe kabinet nog verder in de watten gelegd en dat in hypocriet belastingparadijs Nederland………

Counsel Robert Mueller has charged former Trump national security
adviser Michael Flynn with “willfully and knowingly” making
“false, fictitious and fraudulent statements” to the FBI
regarding conversations with Russia’s ambassador. Flynn, in turn,
is expected to plead guilty in a DC court to making false statements
to FBI agents in January 2017, according to the court filing
presented below. The plea hearing is set for 10:30 am ET.

Michael
Flynn is now the second person involved with the Trump campaign to
admit wrongdoing in Mueller’s probe into allegations of collusion
between the Trump campaign and Russia; he is however the first Trump
administration official charged in relation to Mueller’s probe into
Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

Former
Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort and aide Rick Gates were
charged with money laundering from alleged crimes that took place
before they worked with Trump. A campaign adviser, George
Papadopoulos, pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI earlier this year
over contacts with officials connected to the Russian government.

After
he left the administration, Flynn filed a foreign registration form
showing that he hadn’t disclosed multiple contacts and payments
from foreign entities while serving as a campaign adviser to Trump
starting in February 2016. The company received $530,000 from a Dutch
company working on behalf of Turkey’s government, to lobby the U.S.
for extradition of an exiled cleric who has opposed President Recep
Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey.

He’s
also disclosed payments from the Russian news site RT, described in
an unclassified U.S. intelligence report as “the Kremlin’s
principal international propaganda outlet.”

The
news about Flynn comes a day after CNN reported that Jared Kushner
had met earlier this month with Mueller’s team as part of the
investigation into Russia’s meddling in the election, according to
two people familiar with the meeting.

The
question is whether as part of the plea Flynn will ‘reveal’
something about Trump, because if 6 months after the Mueller probe
the best he could get out of Flynn is making a “false statement”
about meeting the Russian ambassador, then Trump has nothing to be
worried about.
