Israël een Democratie??? De willekeur van een apartheidsregime……..

Prominent
parlementslid Khalida Jarrar zonder proces of aanklacht veroordeeld
tot zes maanden cel

De bekende Palestijnse
feminist en parlementariër Khalida Jarrar is woensdag door een
Israëlische militaire rechtbank veroordeeld tot zes maanden
administratieve detentie – gevangenschap zonder dat sprake is van
een aanklacht of proces. Jarrar werd begin juli bij een nachtelijke
inval in Ramallah door Israëlische troepen opgepakt.

De
bekende jurist Jarrar is sinds 2006 lid van het Palestijnse parlement
namens het Volksfront voor de Bevrijding van Palestina (PFLP). Zij is
voorzitter van de parlementaire commissie voor Palestijnse gevangenen
en vice-voorzitter van de Palestijnse NGO Addameer,
die bijstand verleent aan Palestijnse politieke gevangenen. Mede
vanwege haar inzet voor vrouwenrechten is Jarrar een prominent
gezicht in de Palestijnse samenleving. Ze werd op 2 juli in haar
woning in Ramallah van
haar bed gelicht en
geboeid met onbekende bestemming afgevoerd.

De
veroordeling komt drie dagen na de
veroordeling van Khitam Sa’afin,
die in dezelfde nacht bij een razzia werd opgepakt, tot drie maanden
administratieve detentie. Sa’afin is voorzitter van de bond van
Palestijnse vrouwenorganisaties en zet zich in voor de rechten van
Palestijnse vrouwen in een soeverein en van Israëlische bezetting
bevrijd Palestina.

Samidoun,
het in de Verenigde Staten gevestigde netwerk van organisaties die
zich inzetten voor de duizenden Palestijnen in Israëlische
gevangenschap, eist in een online
petitie die
brede steun verdient de directe vrijlating van Jarrar en Sa’afin.

POLITIEK
GEVANGENE

Samidoun schrijft dat
Jarrar administratieve detentie werd opgelegd nadat de militaire
aanklager er niet in was geslaagd een aanklacht tegen haar te
formuleren.

Administratieve
detentie berust op ‘geheime bewijzen’ en wordt ingesteld voor een
periode van maximaal zes maanden, die eindeloos kan worden verlengd.
Momenteel bevinden zich bijna vijfhonderd Palestijnen in Israëlische
administratieve detentie, onder wie negen parlementsleden. Het
vastzetten van invloedrijke Palestijnen wordt gezien als een campagne
om de Palestijnse samenleving van haar leiderschap te beroven. In het
geval van Jarrar speelt vermoedelijk mee dat zij betrokken is bij
de vooronderzoeken
van het Internationaal Strafhof naar
Israëls misdrijven in bezet Palestina. Israël laat geen middel
onbeproefd die onderzoeken te
dwarsbomen.

Jarrar
ligt sinds 2014 permanent onder vuur van de Israëlische
bezettingsautoriteiten. Na een poging haar naar Jericho te verbannen
werd zij begin april 2015 bij een nachtelijke inval in haar woning
in Ramallah overgebracht naar Israël, waar ze veertien
maanden gevangen zat.
Aanvankelijk werd zij ook toen in administratieve detentie
geplaatst, maar na een golf van protest werd alsnog een aanklacht
gefabriceerd: Jarrar zou hebben deelgenomen aan protestmarsen, een
interview hebben gegeven en lid zijn van en activiteiten verrichten
voor de PFLP, de partij waarvoor zij in het parlement zit, maar die
volgens Israël een ‘terroristische organisatie’ is. Ook na haar
recente arrestatie stelden de militaire autoriteiten dat ze was
opgepakt ‘vanwege haar activiteiten voor de PFLP’. Tegen Jarrar
is echter nooit bewijs van betrokkenheid bij terreur ingebracht.

Jarrar stelde
destijds dat
Israël geen andere bedoeling had dan haar zo lang mogelijk op te
sluiten, en dat ze de bevoegdheid van de militaire rechtbanken niet
accepteerde. Ze betitelde de rechtbanken als ‘een grap en een
groot theater’, de aanklachten tegen haar als ‘absurd’ en haar
gevangenschap als ‘van meet af aan gebaseerd op politieke
gronden’.

Een uitstekend artikel van John Pilger (op Information Clearing House – ICH) over de fascistische apartheidsstaat Israël en de steeds onmenselijker manier waarop deze fascisten omgaan met de Palestijnen. De vergelijking met nazi-Duitsland gaat steeds vaker op, een vergelijking die al begin 90er jaren door officieren van het Israëlische leger werd gemaakt…….

De etnische zuivering door Israël van de door deze apartheidsstaat illegaal bezette gebieden, zou tot de belangrijkste inzet van de VN en het Internationale Strafhof moeten behoren.

Als de wereld nog langer zal toezien zonder in te grijpen, is een volgende gigantische massamoord onontkoombaar en zal de etnische zuivering van de door Israël illegaal bezette gebieden voltooid zijn…..

“Arabs,”
they said, “nomads.” The words were almost spat out. Israel,
they said, meaning Palestine, had been mostly wasteland and one of
the great feats of the Zionist enterprise was to turn the desert
green.

They
gave as an example their crop of Jaffa oranges, which was exported to
the rest of the world. What a triumph against the odds of nature and
humanity’s neglect.

It
was the first lie. Most of the orange groves and vineyards belonged
to Palestinians who had been tilling the soil and exporting oranges
and grapes to Europe since the eighteenth century. The former
Palestinian town of Jaffa was known by its previous inhabitants as
“the place of sad oranges.”

On
the kibbutz, the word “Palestinian” was never used. Why, I asked.
The answer was a troubled silence.

All
over the colonized world, the true sovereignty of indigenous people
is feared by those who can never quite cover the fact, and the crime,
that they live on stolen land.

Denying
people’s humanity is the next step – as the Jewish people know
only too well. Defiling people’s dignity and culture and pride
follows as logically as violence.

In
Ramallah, following an invasion of the West Bank by the late Ariel
Sharon in 2002, I walked through streets of crushed cars and
demolished houses, to the Palestinian Cultural Centre. Until that
morning, Israeli soldiers had camped there.

I
was met by the centre’s director, the novelist, Liana Badr, whose
original manuscripts lay scattered and torn across the floor. The
hard drive containing her fiction, and a library of plays and poetry
had been taken by Israeli soldiers. Almost everything was smashed,
and defiled.

Not
a single book survived with all its pages; not a single master tape
from one of the best collections of Palestinian cinema.

The
soldiers had urinated and defecated on the floors, on desks, on
embroideries and works of art. They had smeared feces on children’s
paintings and written – in shit – “Born to kill”.

Liana
Badr had tears in her eyes, but she was unbowed. She said, “We will
make it right again.”

A
Dead Infant

Fatima
and Nasser are a couple whose home stood in a village near Jerusalem
designated “Zone A and B,” meaning that the land was declared for
Jews only. Their parents had lived there; their grandparents had
lived there. Today, the bulldozers are laying roads for Jews only,
protected by laws for Jews only.

It
was past midnight when Fatima went into labor with their second
child. The baby was premature; and when they arrived at a checkpoint
with the hospital in view, the young Israeli soldier said they needed
another document.

Fatima
was bleeding badly. The soldier laughed and imitated her moans and
told them, “Go home.” The baby was born there in a truck. It was
blue with cold and soon, without care, died from exposure. The baby’s
name was Sultan.

For
Palestinians, these will be familiar stories. The question is: why
are they not familiar in London and Washington, Brussels and Sydney?

“Palestine,”
said Nelson Mandela, “is the greatest moral issue of our time.”

Why
is this truth suppressed, day after day, month after month, year
after year?

On
Israel – the apartheid state, guilty of a crime against humanity
and of more international law-breaking than any other– the silence
persists among those who know and whose job it is to keep the record
straight.

On
Israel, so much journalism is intimidated and controlled by a
groupthink that demands silence on Palestine while honorable
journalism has become dissidence: a metaphoric underground.

A
single word – “conflict” – enables this silence.  “The
Arab-Israeli conflict”,
intone the robots at their tele-prompters. When a veteran BBC
reporter, a man who knows the truth, refers to “two narratives”,
the moral contortion is complete.

There
is no conflict, no two narratives, with their moral fulcrum. There is
a military occupation enforced
by a nuclear-armed power backed by the greatest military power on
earth; and there is an epic injustice.

The
word “occupation” may be banned, deleted from the dictionary. But
the memory of historical truth cannot be banned: of the systemic
expulsion of Palestinians from their homeland. “Plan D” the
Israelis called it in 1948.

The
Israeli historian Benny Morris describes how David Ben-Gurion,
Israel’s first prime minister, was asked by one of his generals:
“What shall we do with the Arabs?”

Mandela
put it this way: “We know only too well that our freedom is
incomplete without the freedom of the Palestinians.”

Rabbis’ visit comes after 50th anniversary of Israel’s occupation of West Bank. What hadn’t been planned, though, up was that their trip would coincide with one of the worst crises ever in relations between Israel and the U.S. Jewish community.

Rabbi Stanley Kessler first visited Hebron in 1967, just after the Six-Day War. He returned for a second visit in 1973. This week, at age 94, he came back for his third trip and hardly recognized the city.

“I have difficulty seeing what I’m seeing,” he says, pausing for a moment of reflection after a stroll, on a sweltering day, through what used to be the bustling center of this West Bank city. “On my previous trips, the streets were swarming with people. And now, I didn’t even see one single person.”

Radiohead heeft lak aan de protesten tegen het optreden in apartheidsstaat Israël………. Boycot Radiohead!!

De Britse band Radiohead zal op 19 juli a.s. spelen in Israël. Het aangekondigde concert in Tel Aviv heeft een storm van protest opgeroepen (‘natuurlijk amper of niet’ in Nederland…..). Zelfs veel fans hebben de band verzocht het fascistische apartheidsregime in Israël niet te legitimeren met een concert…..

Opvallend dat Yorke, de ‘voorman’ van Radiohead o.a. met het algemeen lamme westerse excuus kwam, dat een boycot op Israël niet constructief is voor de situatie en het zou de dialoog (tussen Israël en de Palestijnen, Ap) dwarsbomen……. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! U weet wel, de eenzijdige dialoog van Israël, die keer op keer aankondigt de illegale nederzettingen op de illegaal bezette West bank uit te breiden, de dialoog waarmee Israël zelfs kinderen zonder enige vorm van proces vast zet, de dialoog waarmee Israël de openluchtgevangenis Gazastrook bombardeert als het zo uitkomt, de dialoog waarmee Israël humanitaire projecten zoals die uit Nederland de nek omdraait……*

UK band Radiohead breaks silence on Israel concert

The Radiohead frontman called boycott efforts ‘an extraordinary waste of energy’ [Reuters]

Radiohead have hit back at a campaign urging the British band to cancel a scheduled concert in Israel, calling efforts to get them to adhere to the Palestinian call to Boycott, Divest from, and Sanction (BDS) Israel “offensive”.

The experimental rock icons are scheduled to close a tour on July 19 in Tel Aviv, but a number of activists and artists, including Nobel Prize-winning anti-apartheid icon Desmond Tutu, novelist Alice Walker and Pink Floyd musician Roger Waters, have urged Radiohead to heed Palestinian activists’ calls.

The open letter, signed by dozens of other artists and public figures, reminded Radiohead: “Palestinians have appealed to you to take one small step to help pressure Israel to end its violation of basic rights and international law.”

“Please do what artists did in South Africa’s era of oppression: stay away, until apartheid is over,” the letter added.

Radiohead had initially stayed silent on the boycott calls, even as a banner urging them to cancel the Tel Aviv show was hung at a recent concert in Berkeley, California.

But Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke responded on Friday that boycott campaigns sow divisions that fuel right-wing leaders such as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, US President Donald Trump and British Prime Minister Theresa May.

“All of this creates divisive energy. You’re not bringing people together. You’re not encouraging dialogue or a sense of understanding,” Yorke told Rolling Stone magazine.

“It’s such an extraordinary waste of energy. Energy that could be used in a more positive way,” he said.

But Samir Eskanda, a British-Palestinian musician and manager, said that boycotts are in fact meant to be divisive.

“Boycotts called for by an oppressed people against that system of oppression are by definition ‘divisive’,” Eskanda told Al Jazeera.

“They divide those who support human rights and an end to oppression from those who choose to be oblivious to the struggle for those rights and who abrogate their moral obligation to do no harm.”

Yorke and his bandmates have played concerts to support Tibetan rights, Amnesty International and the battle against climate change.

The Radiohead frontman called it “patronising in the extreme” to presume Radiohead is unfamiliar with the Israeli occupation of Palestinian lands, pointing out that guitarist Jonny Greenwood’s wife is an Israeli.

“It’s really upsetting that artists I respect think we are not capable of making a moral decision ourselves after all these years,” he said.

“They talk down to us and I just find it mind-boggling that they think they have the right to do that,” he said.

But Seamus O’Brolchain, a member of the UK-based activist group Radiohead Fans for Palestine, said that Yorke seemed to be mistaken about the origins of the boycott call.

“Thom seems to think the call to boycott has come from people like [award-winning director] Ken Loach and Roger Waters, but that isn’t true. The call has come from the Palestinian people who are living under apartheid – how can they talk down to a millionaire rock star?” O’Brolchain told Al Jazeera.

“Our fans campaign has tried to open a dialogue with the band, but they ignored us,” O’Brolchain added. “Radiohead bassist] Colin Greenwood refused to accept our letters when they were presented to him. He didn’t even want to read them. The band’s publicists and agents haven’t returned our calls.”

“We made the mistake of thinking Radiohead were the kind of band who would be willing to have a dialogue with their fans.”

In the interview, Yorke also lashed out at the academic boycott, saying of universities: “The one place where you need to be free to express everything you possibly can. You want to tell these people you can’t do that?”

But according to Eskanda, Yorke’s comments appear to be made without regard to the situation that the Palestinians live under: “While the Palestinian BDS movement endorses a free exchange of ideas, it is obvious that it has to be just that: free, which excludes situations of colonial oppression, apartheid and military occupation.”

Speaking to Al Jazeera in response as to why Yorke “just can’t understand why going to play a rock show [in Israel … is a problem]”, Eskanda quoted Enuga S. Reddy, who was director of the UN Centre Against Apartheid, and in 1984 spoke of “people who have performed in South Africa because of ignorance of the situation or the lure of money or unconcern over racism.

“They need to be persuaded to stop entertaining apartheid, to stop profiting from apartheid money and to stop serving the propaganda purposes of the apartheid regime,” Reddy said.

Yorke’s latest comments also appeared to be at odds with public opinion in the UK.

A new poll published on Friday by the Palestine Solidarity Campaign showed that “43 percent of Brits thought the Palestinian call for BDS was reasonable – over three times as many as those who thought it was unreasonable (13 percent)”.

The Palestine Solidarity Campaign’s findings also found that “support for Palestine is remarkably consistent across party lines – despite [Labour Party leader Jeremy] Corbyn and May’s differing views on the subject”, as nearly half the British population think the UK should review its trade and financial relationships with illegal Israeli settlements.

De hoogste tijd voor het boycotten van Radiohead!!

* Vanmorgen werd bekend gemaakt, dat Israël een Nederlands zonnepanelen project, waarmee een Palestijns dorp op de West Bank van elektriciteit werd voorzien, deels heeft vernield en in het geheel heeft ontmanteld. Dit omdat de illegale Israëlische militaire autoriteit op de illegaal bezette West Bank, geen bouwvergunning had afgegeven………  De Nederlandse correspondent van Radio1 Jan Franke, stelde dat bij de ontmanteling van het project ‘ook vernielingen werden aangericht’, dit terwijl de BBC al berichtte, dat het grootste deel van de zonnepanelen werd vernield……

Israël, Neêrlands grote vriend heeft tot nu toe meer dan 1 miljoen Palestijnen gemarteld……

Volgens een rapport van het Palestinian Committee for Prisoners’ Affairs, heeft Israël tot op de dag van vandaag meer dan 1 miljoen Palestijnen gemarteld…….

Tot een maand geleden was een groot aantal Palestijnse gevangenen in hongerstaking vanwege de onmenselijke behandeling, zoals eenzame opsluiting (een ernstige vorm van marteling)….

Daarnaast is er nog de onmenselijke behandeling van Palestijnen in hun in stukken geknipte woongebieden, zoals vergelding na ‘een aanslag’, een methode direct overgenomen van de SS!! Voorts knijpt Israël al een aantal jaren in de zomer de watertoevoer voor de West Bank af, zogenaamd als gevolg van waterschaarste, gevolg o.a.: misoogsten….. Een schaarste waar men overigens in de Israëlische nederzettingen op de illegaal bezette West Bank niets van merkt, het vullen van zwembaden, bevloeiing van akkers enz., is daar ook in de zomer geen probleem………

Je zou deze gang van zaken zonder meer een etnische zuivering kunnen noemen, immers de Palestijnen wordt het leven in feite onmogelijk gemaakt…..

Vergeet voorts niet, dat het opsluiten van minderjarigen, wegens het gooien met stenen (zonder enige normale rechtsgang) ook een extreme vorm van marteling is, niet alleen voor de kinderen, maar ook voor hun ouders……..

Hoe lang laat het westen in applaushouding met de ogen dicht de fascistische apartheidsstaat Israël haar smerige, bloederige gang gaan..???

Israel Has Tortured Over 1 Million Palestinian Prisoners

(GPA) — According
to a report from
the Palestinian Committee for Prisoners’ Affairs, over one million
prisoners have been tortured in Israeli jails to date. The report
was announced just before International Day in Support of
Victims of Torture which takes place June 26th.

Just
last month, over 1,500 Palestinian prisoners participated in a 40 day
hunger strike to highlight Israel’s inhumane treatment of prisoners
including extended solitary confinement.

Prior
to 1999, Israel carried out various physical torture during
interrogations.  As a report from Shin Bet of the Landau
Commission states: “depriving
the interrogee of sleep for a number of days by binding him or her in
painful positions; playing loud music; covering their head with a
filthy sack; exposing the interrogee to extreme heat and cold; tying
them to a low chair, tilting forward; tightly cuffing the
interrogee’s hands; having the interrogee stand, hands tied and
drawn upwards; having the interrogee lie on his back on a high stool
with his body arched backwards; forcing the interrogee to crouch on
his toes with his hands tied behind him; violent shaking of the
detainee, the interrogator grasping and shaking him; using threats
and curses, and feeding him poor-quality and insufficient amounts of
food.”

Israel
also carries out extensive inhumane treatment of the general
Palestinian population. The Zionist state frequently withholds water
as well as movement of people and goods from areas of Palestine as a
form of collective punishment. Experts say the Palestinian economy
and general development has been devastated by Israel’s occupation.
Just yesterday, Israeli settlers burned down dozens of olive
trees in
the West Bank as Palestinians celebrated Eid al-Fitr (the end of
Ramadan). This
particular settlement in the West Bank (and many more like it) have
been ruled illegal by the United Nations.

Israëlische terreur in Negev: dorp voor 114de keer ‘gebulldozerd’

Anti-Media meldde eergisteren, dat het Palestijnse Bedoeïenendorp al-Araqib voor de 114de keer werd gebulldozerd…… U denkt wellicht, 114 keer, is dat niet wat overdreven, maar zelfs één keer zou één keer teveel zijn!!

De Palestijnse bedoeïenen wonen al een paar duizend jaar in de Negev, maar als het de fascistische apartheidsregering van Israël behaagd, verklaart het bedoeïenen dorpen als niet bestaand en dus illegaal. Dit terwijl illegale Israëlische nederzettingen in het gebied mogen worden uitgebreid, sterker nog, deze worden niet zelden gebouwd op de plek waar eerst een Palestijns bedoeïenendorp werd vernietigd door de fascistische Israëlische overheidsdiensten………

Al vaker gemeld op deze plek, Israël, haar politie en het Israëlische leger gebruiken nazi-Duitse methoden als vergelding, iets dat begin negentiger jaren zelfs werd toegegeven door officieren uit het Israëlische leger…… Nog een staaltje nazi-Duitse terreur: de bewoners van al-Araqib worden verantwoordelijk gesteld voor de kosten van het bulldozeren van hun huizen, deze kosten zijn nu al ruim de half miljoen dollar gepasseerd……….

Al-Araqib is één van de 35 dorpen, die Israël niet erkend als bestaand……. Lees het artikel Whitney Webb over deze onverdraaglijke gang van zaken. Bulldozers Demolish Palestinian Village for 114th Time in Seven Years

Israeli
bulldozers flattened a village inhabited by the ancient Palestinian
Bedouins, a tribe that has lived on the land for thousands of years.
Israeli authorities have systematically run the indigenous Bedouins
off of their land to pave the way for Jewish-only settlements.

(MPN) — Israel
Land Authority (ILA) officials, along with Israeli police and several
bulldozers, raided
and then demolished the
Bedouin village of al-Araqib in the Negev region this week.

The
demolition marked the 114th time that the ILA has destroyed the
village, with the first time taking place in 2010 and the most recent
prior to Wednesday’s demolition taking place just
last month.

Most
of the structures that were demolished on Wednesday were tin homes
that village residents had built over the course of the last month in
order to continue living in the area.

But
while the residents of al-Araqib are grappling with the most recent
demolition that has wiped out their village, Israeli Jewish
communities in the region continue to expand on Palestinian land.

Last,
year, the ILA approved five new Jewish-only residential settlements
in the Negev, two of which are located where “unrecognized”
Palestinian Bedouin villages currently stand.

Several
rights groups have argued that the demolition of Bedouin villages is
directly related to the expansion of illegal Jewish
settlements, describing
the policy as
a means of removing the indigenous Palestinian population in order to
create even more settlements for Jewish-only Israelis.

Since
Israel’s inception in 1948, white Jewish-only settlements have been
built on indigenous Palestinian land after the indigenous population
has been ethnically cleansed in order to accommodate European Jews in
beginning their new lives in Israel.

an Israeli military order issued in 1956. However, the Bedouins
significantly predate the state of Israel, as they have lived in the
area for thousands of years as the original Arab ethnic group of the
Middle East.

ILA
officials have been repeatedly accused by residents of carrying out
demolitions with little consideration for the village’s residents.
Indeed, instead of providing any resources for the now-homeless
villagers, al-Araqib’s residents have
been ordered by
the Israeli government to pay for the cumulative cost of the 114
demolitions that have been carried out since 2010, a figure which
stands at more than 2 million shekels, or roughly $541,000.

However,
the Palestinian Bedouins – despite the constant destruction of
their homes – have remained defiant, refusing to relocate.
Following last month’s demolition, al-Araqib resident Sayyah
al-Turi told
the Ma’an News Agency “All
demolition crimes will not scare us or stop us from rebuilding our
homes and holding on to our lands. We will stay here despite the
injustice and criminal demolitions, we will not submit to their plans
of uprooting and displacing us.”

Al-Araqib
is one of 35 Bedouin villages that the Israeli government considers
“unrecognized,” even thoughmore
than half of
the estimated 160,000 Bedouins living in the Negev region reside in
such villages. The “unrecognized” classification also prevents
Bedouins living in these villages from developing or expanding their
communities. It has also led to Israeli authorities refusing
to connect the
villages to national water and electric grids and refusing to offer
their residents healthcare and educational services, despite the fact
that the Bedouins are technically Israeli citizens.

Settlement
activity on the rise

However,
the Israeli demolition of Palestinian housing has become more
prominent in 2017, as pushes to expand Israeli settlements and the
demolition of indigenous Palestinian homes have both spiked since the
year began.

The
Israeli NGO Peace Now reported
earlier this month that
the number of settlements approved in the first half of 2017 is
nearly triple the number that was approved in all of 2016, with 7,721
housing units approved since January compared to 2,657 over the
entire course of last year.

Demolitions
of Palestinian homes within Israel have also picked up in the first
half of the year, beginning with a deadly pre-dawn
demolition raid on
the Bedouin village of Umm al-Hiran in January. A new Jewish-Israeli
town called “Hiran” is set to take the village’s place.

The
push to expand illegal settlements at all costs has recently brought
international condemnation against the Israeli government, with the
United States, the
United Kingdom and Japan condemning
the expansion of illegal settlements, saying this phenomenon is “not
conducive” to the peace process.

However,
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu seems less than concerned
with such statements, as evidenced by his comments at a ceremony
celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Six-Day War earlier this
month. At the ceremony, Netanyahu promised
an audience of
Jewish settlers that he was “doing whatever is needed to protect
the Jewish settlement enterprise.”

It
will likely take more than stern words from foreign governments to
convince the Israeli government to abandon its illegal activities,
which have compounded the suffering of indigenous Palestinians who
are losing their land to modern-day colonization.

In het onvolprezen maffe BNR programma ‘De Wereld’, van de levend geworden rollade Hammelburg ( “Er zijn 197 buitenlanden en dat is best veel hoor…”), gisteren VVD blaaskaak, slaapbol en EU grofgraaier van Baalen.

Toen ik afstemde werd van Baalen net gevraagd naar de reactie van het beest Trump op de terreuraanslagen in Teheran (Iran), die geen medeleven uitsprak, maar Iran een ‘net goed’ Twitterbericht toevoegde, zo van als je je met terreur bezig houdt, moet je niet opkijken als jezelf het slachtoffer wordt…….

Vreemd ook, daar de aanslagen die in Europa worden gepleegd, zogenaamd nooit iets met de grootschalige westerse terreur in het Midden-Oosten te maken hebben……..

Van Baalen vond dat wonder boven wonder een onbehoorlijke reactie van Trump, waarbij hij zijn medeleven uitsprak voor de slachtoffers en nabestaanden in Iran. Maar zo voegde van Baalen toe, Teheran is natuurlijk wel betrokken bij terreur……. Daarop mompelde Hammelburg: “Hamas……..” Nooit is er ook maar één Iraniër in het buitenland opgepakt voor terreuraanslagen, maar dat maakt de rechtse oorlogshitsers geen reet uit, Iran zou wapens leveren aan terreurgroepen en dat is genoeg…….

Zo wordt Iran door westerse politici en de reguliere westerse media nog steeds beschuldigd van het leveren van wapens aan de Houthi’s in Jemen, iets waar geen flinter bewijs voor kan worden geleverd……… Wel is duidelijk dat Saoedi-Arabië een genocide (ultieme terreur) uitvoert op de sjiitische bevolking van Jemen, gesteund door de VS en andere westerse landen, zoals Nederland…….. vannacht maakte BBC World Service bekend, dat er nu al 800 doden te betreuren zijn door de cholera uitbraak, die zoals de hongersnood in dat land één op één is te danken aan de Saoedische terreur……

Hammelburg maakte in zijn graagte wat toe te voegen de fout om de soennitische terreur te noemen…. Tja dan blijft er niet veel Iraanse (sjiitische) terreur over, immers alle terreur in het westen en die in het Midden-Oosten, anders dan die door de VS c.s., heeft een overduidelijke soennitische handtekening! Althans als je Hamas, dat ook een sociaal maatschappelijke functie vervult, niet meerekent. Je zou zelfs kunnen zeggen, dat Hamas Palestijnen en Libanezen probeert te verdedigen tegen Israëlische terreur. Tja, als je dat doet ben je nu eenmaal een terrorist en een antisemiet……….

Dan is er de vraag, na het mompelen van Hamas door Hammelburg, wie er in het voormalige Palestina is begonnen met grootschalige terreur, al in de 40er jaren van de vorige eeuw. Die vraag is makkelijk te beantwoorden: de zionisten die later hun staat Israël vestigden en sindsdien een voortdurende terreur hebben uitgeoefend op de Palestijnse bevolking. Middels die terreur is zelfs het grootste deel van de Palestijnse grond gestolen en zijn de oorspronkelijke bewoners gemarteld, vermoord en voor een groot deel uit hun huizen verdreven…… Me dunkt, een ‘top staaltje terreur…..’

Van Baalen en Hammelburg spreken over de Palestijnen alsof die gelijkwaardig zijn aan het fascistische Israëlische apartheidsbewind van Netanyahu; te zot voor woorden natuurlijk!! Alles wat Israël doet is goed in de ogen van voornoemd geteisem, terwijl de wanhoopsdaden van individuele Palestijnen als terreur worden afgeschilderd……..

Over het mislukken van westerse geheime diensten om daders van aanslagen tegen te houden, terwijl ze bekend zijn bij deze diensten (en meestal ook de politie) zei van Baalen (zoals gewoonlijk uiterst onsmakelijk slurp-sprekend), dat er geen lijnen zijn gelegd (zoals bij de 911 aanvallen)…….. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!

Nee, die lijnen worden blijkbaar expres niet gelegd, zeker als je keer op keer te horen krijgt, dat geheime diensten, zoals die in de VS bij de 911 aanslagen, de daders in het vizier hadden. Sterker nog, zoals ook nu weer gebeurde voorafgaand aan de aanslagen in Manchester en Londen: de geheime diensten werden zelfs kort voor de aanslagen gewaarschuwd voor de jihadisten die plannen hadden voor aanslagen, met namen en rugnummers van de daders en toch werden van Baalens lijnen niet gelegd…….

Corbyn werd nog genoemd i.v.m. de verkiezingen in GB, ik zal u al het duffe geouwehoer besparen, maar moet wel een uitlating van van Baalen weergeven: volgens van Baalen heeft Corbyn achter de IRA en Noord-Korea aangelopen…….. Alsof genuanceerd denken over hoe om te gaan met de IRA en Noord-Korea, hetzelfde is als achter die twee aanlopen…………

Jan Jaap de Ruiter was nog te horen, voordat ik een andere zender opzocht. Deze vervelende lulpraatjesmaker van de universiteit van Tilburg, stelde dat Iran vuile handen maakt in Syrië………. Iran is maar met een beperkte groep militairen werkzaam in Syrië en vecht daar zoals het reguliere Syrische leger en  de Russen, tegen de gematigde rebellen, ofwel IS, Al Qaida en andere heftige terreurgroepen, maar ja die worden gesteund door de VS en haar hielenlikkende westerse partners (nogmaals: waaronder Nederland)……. Vandaar die uitlating van de Ruiter………

Nog even over van Baalen: u begrijpt natuurlijk wel dat deze hansworst, de illegale oorlogen die de VS alleen deze eeuw al begon, zoals die tegen Afghanistan, Irak, Libië en nu weer Syrië*,  niet het predicaat ‘terreur’ meegeeft, ook al hebben deze oorlogen al meer dan 2 miljoen mensenlevens gekost (massamoorden op naam van de VS en haar bondgenoten, waaronder nogmaals Nederland…)….

De VS oefent in tegenstelling tot Iran grootschalige terreur uit (Iran dat volgens van Baalen ‘natuurlijk wel’ betrokken is bij terreur) en begint zoals gezegd de ene na de andere illegale oorlog (zo ongeveer de grootste oorlogsmisdaad die te bedenken is)……… Om over alle standrechtelijke executies middels VS drones nog maar te zwijgen, ‘illegale executies’ waarbij meer dan 90% van de slachtoffers niet eens verdacht is, veel kinderen en vrouwen dus…….. Ook dat is terreur van Baalen!

* De VS was al vanaf 2006 bezig was met de voorbereiding van een coup tegen Assad, dit middels het uitlokken van een opstand. Hetzelfde scenario heeft de VS in Oekraïne gevolgd, al is het daar met meer ‘succes’. Daarmee en middels het parachuteren van de neonazi-junta van Porosjenko, is de VS ook verantwoordelijk voor de vreselijke oorlog die de neonazi-bataljons in Oost-Oekraïne uitvechten. (24/7 worden daar dorpen en steden gebombardeerd door die bataljons, iets waar de reguliere westerse media en politici niet over reppen….)…. De neonazi-junta in Kiev wordt door een aantal NAVO landen, met de VS voorop, militair gesteund middels levering van: wapens, munitie en militaire training, waarmee de mensen in Oost-Oekraïne worden vermoord

Israëls psychopathische minister Galant roept om bloed Assad en aanval op Iran……….

De Israëlische minister van huisvesting, tevens ex-generaal Yoav Galant* liet op alweer een loos VS bericht t.a.v. Syrië weten, dat Assad vermoord moet worden……..

Volgens de zoveelste VS leugen zou de regering Assad crematoria hebben, waarin men geëxecuteerde gevangenen laat verdwijnen…….. Galant vergeleek Syrië daarop met nazi-Duitsland…….

Galant stelde dat Assad de staart van de slang is en Iran de kop, waarbij hij een aanval op Iran voorstelde, na een geslaagde moordaanslag op Assad……

Israël is een fascistische apartheidsstaat, waar het leger methoden gebruikt, die het heeft overgenomen uit het SS handboek, zo maakte een aantal officieren uit het Israëlische leger begin 90er jaren bekend!! Zaken als het controleren van een getto: neem getto ofwel openluchtgevangenis Gazastrook! Ook zaken als wraakneming op burgers na een aanslag, komen regelrecht uit het SS handboek…..

Daarnaast gebruikten de nazi’s enorme leugens als reden voor het aanvallen van landen, minderheden en moord op onwelgevallige personen, alweer een opvallende gelijkenis met Israël (de VS) en……. Galant!!

Housing Minister Yoav Galant, of the Kulanu Party, yesterday declared
that US claims that Syria’s government has built a crematorium to
dispose of executed prisoners, a fact Syria denies, means “the
time has come to assassinate Assad.”
He went on to liken Assad’s Syria to Nazi Germany.

It’s
unusual for an MP to publicly demand the assassination of a
neighboring head of state, and it’s clearly outside the purview of
the Israeli Housing Ministry to make such a decision. Galant’s
status as a former general appears to be his basis for making the
proclamation.

Galant
declared Assad to be “the tail of the snake,” and insisted that
Israel could assassinate him and then focus on starting a war with
Iran, whom he identified as the “head of the snake.” Picking a
fight with Iran of course is a long-standing Israeli priority.

Galant
conceded that it might not be practical to assassinate Assad, and
that it would be illegal under international law, but insisted Assad
“doesn’t have a place in this world” and needs to be killed
outright. Again, Galant presented this conclusion primarily on the
basis of yesterday’s US State Department claim about a crematorium,
which has not been independently confirmed, and which Syria denies.

Al-Nakba: 15 mei 1948-2017. De Palestijnen, al 69 jaar verdrijving en bloedige onderdrukking door zionisten………..

Vandaag 69 jaar geleden begon wat de Palestijnen ‘al-Nakba’ (de catastrofe) zijn gaan noemen. Op die dag begonen de zionistische paramilitairen en Israëlische strijdkrachten met de verdrijving van Palestijnen van hun grond, waar velen al generaties lang woonden…….. Tot 1949 werden er in totaal rond de 1 miljoen Palestijnen verdreven, zodat de joodse bevolking de meerderheid kon vormen……

Overigens kwam er allesbehalve een eind aan de verdrijving en (bloedige) onderdrukking van Palestijnen, al zijn de methoden tegenwoordig iets anders. Zo hebben de zionisten nu het leven van de Palestijnen op de door Israël illegaal bezette West Bank feitelijk bijna onmogelijk gemaakt. Boeren zijn afgesneden van hun land, dat na verloop van tijd door illegale joodse nederzettingen is/wordt geannexeerd…..

De Gazastrook is veranderd in een getto, nou zeg maar openluchtgevangenis, met 2 miljoen Palestijnen, waar Israël keer op keer boedbaden aanricht…….. Recht uit het handboek van de SS…..

De berichtgeving in Nederland over de strijd die plaatsvond in Palestina (dat uiteraard wordt aangeduid als Israël) door de reguliere media is altijd pro-zionistisch geweest. Vond nog een ‘mooi voorbeeld’ op de site van Andere Tijden:

Tot december 1947, totdat joodse terroristen 7 Arabieren bij de poort van het complex opbliezen en Palestijnse moordenaars als vergelding 39 joodse arbeiders afslachtten.  Het valt me nog mee, dat de joodse psychopaten terroisten worden genoemd, maar dat ‘moordenaars’ zegt genoeg………

Vergelijk dit eens met het volgende citaat van Andere Tijden:

Twee weken eerder had een joodse strijdgroep een slachting aangericht onder de bewoners van Deir Yassin, een dorp bij Jeruzalem. Inderdaad de woorden terroristen en moordenaars vallen niet eens, terwijl het hier om de moord op mannen, vrouwen en kinderen ging……..

Het aantal vermoorde Palestijnen in de paar jaar na 1947 ligt volgens zeggen op meer dan 12.000, waarvan een fiks aantal werden afgeslecht zoals hiervoor beschreven door Andere Tijden…….. Overigens noemt AndereTijden het aantal vermoorde Palestijnen niet, tekenend voor Nederlandse berichtgeving…..

De Palestijnen moeten al meer dan 69 jaar bloeden voor het westerse antisemitisme. De hoogste tijd dat hier een eind aan komt! Steund de BDS beweging tegen de fascistische apartheidsstaat Israël!!

Sinds kort zijn meer dan 1.000 Palestijnse gevangen in hongerstaking gegaan, ook al een feit ‘waar veel aandacht voor is’ in Nederland………

15, 2017, Occupied Palestine  – Today marks the 69th
anniversary of the 1948
Nakba,
the mass expulsion of Palestinians from our homeland. Between 1947
and 1949, Zionist paramilitaries, and subsequently Israeli forces,
made 750,000 to one
million indigenous
Palestinians into refugees to establish a Jewish-majority state in
Palestine.

The Palestinian Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions
National Committee (BNC)
calls on people of conscience the world over to further intensify BDS
campaigns to end academic, cultural, sports, military and economic
links of complicity with Israel’s regime
of occupation, settler-colonialism and apartheid.
This is the most effective means of standing with the Palestinian
people in pursuing our inherent and UN-stipulated rights, and
nonviolently resisting the ongoing, intensifying Nakba.


The
Israeli regime today is ruthlessly pursuing the one constant strategy
of its settler-colonial project —the simultaneous pillage and
colonization of as much Palestinian land as possible and the gradual
ethnic cleansing of
as many Palestinians as practical without evoking international
sanctions.


Following
in the footsteps of all previous Israeli governments, the current
far-right government, the most openly racist in Israel’s history,
is heeding the words of the Zionist leader Ze’ev Jabotinsky
who wrote in
1923:

“Every
native population in the world resists colonists as long as it has
the slightest hope of being able to rid itself of the danger of being
colonised. […] Zionist colonisation must either stop, or else
proceed regardless of the native population. Which means that it can
proceed and develop only under the protection of a power that is
independent of the native population—behind an iron wall, which the
native population cannot breach.”

Sixty-nine
years after the systematic, premeditated uprooting and dispossession
of most of the indigenous Palestinian Arabs from the land of
Palestine at the hands of Zionist gangs and later the state of
Israel, the Nakba is not over. Israel is intent on building its “iron
wall” in Palestinian minds, not just our lands, through its
sprawling illegal settlements and concrete walls in the occupied
Palestinian territory, its genocidal
siege of
over  2 million Palestinians in Gaza, its denial of
the Palestinian
refugee’s right to return,
its racist
laws and
policies against Palestinians inside Israel, and its escalating,
violent ethnic cleansing in Jerusalem,
the Jordan
Valley and
the Naqab (Negev).
It is sparing no brutality in its relentless, desperate attempts to
sear into our consciousness the futility of resistance and the
vainness of hope.


The
present mass
hunger strike by
over one thousand Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails and the
grassroots support that it has triggered give us hope.


The
growing support for BDS among international trade unions, including
the most recent adoption by the Norwegian
Confederation of Trade Unions (LO) –
 representing over 910,000 workers –  of an
“international economic, cultural and academic boycott of Israel”
to achieve comprehensive Palestinian rights, gives us hope.


The
fact the none
of the 26 Oscar nominees offered
a free, $55,000-valued trip by the Israeli government accepted the
propaganda gift and that six
out of eleven National Football League players turned
down a similar Israeli junket gives us hope.


The
BDS movement has succeeded in sharply raising the price of corporate
complicity in Israel’s crimes against the Palestinian people. It
has compelled companies of the size of Orange and Veolia to
end their complicity and pushed global giant G4S to
begin exiting the Israeli market. Churches, city councils and
thousands around the world have pledged to boycott Hewlett Packard
(HP)
for its deep complicity in Israel’s occupation and apartheid. This
gives us and many human rights campaigns around the world great hope.


The Barcelona municipality’s
decision to end complicity with Israel’s occupation, coming on the
heels of tens of local councils in the Spanish state declaring
themselves “Israeli
apartheid free zones,”
give us hope.


The
divestment by some of the largest mainline churches in the US,
including the United Methodist Church, the Presbyterian
Church USA and
the United
Church of Christ,
from Israeli
banks or
complicit international corporations gives us hope.

The
spread of remarkably effective BDS campaigns from South Africa to
South Korea, from Egypt to Chile, and from the UK to the US gives us
real hope.


The growing
intersectional coalitions that
are emerging in many countries, organically re-connecting the
struggle for Palestinian rights with the diverse international
struggles for racial, economic, gender, climate and indigenous
justice give us unlimited hope.


In
1968, twenty years after the Nakba but unrelated to it, Dr. Martin
Luther King said,
“There can be no justice without peace and there can be no peace
without justice.” For seven decades, and against all odds,
Palestinians have continued to assert our inalienable right to
self-determination and to genuine peace, which can only stem from
freedom, justice and equality.

But
to reach that just peace we realize that we must nourish our hope for
a dignified life with our boundless commitment to resist injustice,
resist apathy and, crucially, resist their “iron walls” of
despair.


In
this context, the Palestinian-led, global BDS movement with
its impressive
growth and
unquestionable impact is today an indispensable component of our
popular resistance and the most promising form of international
solidarity with our struggle for rights.

No
iron wall of theirs can suppress or overshadow the rising sun of our
emancipation.

The
Palestinian BDS National Committee (BNC)
