Gisteren
was het 49 jaar gelden dat de 21 jarige Fred Hampton werd vermoord
door de FBI en de politie van Chicago……. Hampton was een
mensenrechtenactivist die jong en oud, wit en gekleurd, middenklasse
en de armen wist te verenigen……

‘gevaarlijk’ in de ogen van misdadiger Hoover (en de corrupte en zeer
foute regering Nixon), die destijds de topgraaier van de FBI was, om
de moord op Hampton te organiseren……

Op 4
december 1969 verschafte de politie van Chicago op aanwijzing van de
FBI zich toegang tot de woning van Hampton en schoten op het bed
waarin Hampton en zijn 8,5 maand zwangere vrouw lagen te slapen, waarbij men de twee mistte. Daarop schoten ze van dichtbij twee kogels in het
hoofd van Hampton……..

Nooit werd er iemand veroordeeld voor de moord op Hampton, hoewel er nog steeds verantwoordelijken rondlopen, zowel van de politie als de FBI…… Nog steeds is het mogelijk dat de verantwoordelijken worden gestraft, echter dat zal niet gebeuren, daar de VS in feite geen rechtsstaat is, onrecht viert hoogtij in deze zieke vereniging van staten, die men Amerika durft te noemen en dat al vele decennia lang……

Who
was Fred Hampton?

A
charismatic young leader who was very effective at bringing young and
old, black and white, middle class and poor together in opposition to
a corrupt city and national government.

J.
Edgar Hoover, when he wasn’t cavorting with organized crime figures,
was of the opinion that the country would be better off without
people like Hampton.

FIRST
DEGREE MURDER: PLAIN AND SIMPLE

Fred
Hampton was well spoken, he was out spoken, and he was a real
community leader.

And
he was young. Just 21. He had a life of social and political action
in front of him.

Then,
with intelligence provided by the FBI, Chicago Police raided his
apartment in the early morning, shooting directly at the bed he was
known to sleep in. They missed his eight and a half month pregnant
girlfriend – and him.

Then
they cleared the room and finished him off with two close range shots
to the head.

The
police report said that Hampton shot at them and refused to
surrender.

The
evidence shows nothing of the kind happened. He was murdered in cold
blood.

No
one has gone to jail for this yet – but there is no statute of
limitations on murder and many of the people involved in the killing
involved are still alive so we can hope. The law says they’re as
guilty as the person who pulled the trigger.

PS: naar aanleiding van deze zaak is het onbegrijpelijk dat er nog steeds mensen zijn die de officiële fantasie over de moord op J.F. Kennedy, zijn broer Robert en Martin
Luther King geloven, terwijl de VS zo vaak heeft laten zien totaal
schijt aan het recht te hebben en mensen die het als een gevaar
beschouwt simpel vermoordt……. Uiteraard geldt dit ook voor de
aanslagen op 11 september 2001 (9/11), terwijl er intussen kilometers
aan bewijzen zijn, die aangeven dat de VS zelf de hand had in het
neerhalen van de Twin Towers en gebouw 7 van het WTC in New York.
Voor de schijn blies men nog een stuk van het Pentagon op, waar ook
zogenaamd een vliegtuig ingevlogen zou zijn, terwijl dat volgens de
beelden niet eens kan, noch zijn daar delen van een vliegtuig
geborgen, zoals alweer de beelden hebben laten zien!! De VS is de
grootste terreurentiteit op aarde en is dat al heel lang, niet alleen oefent het land terreur uit in het buitenland, maar zoals ook dit verhaal weer laat zien, ook in
eigen land werd en wordt het volk geterroriseerd……..

De morele ineenstorting van de VS: de oorzaak

In het hieronder opgenomen artikel,
geschreven door Umair Haque, eerder gepubliceerd op Vampires, gaat
deze in op de morele ineenstorting van de VS maatschappij.

Haque concludeert dat de VS zich andere ‘moraliteiten’ heeft aangemeten: egoïsme, hebzucht, wrok en wreedaardigheid……. Zie hoe men openlijk haat en angst tegen minderheden zaait in de VS, hoe men zich moreel zo hoog acht dat de VS waar het haar uitkomt illegaal oorlog voert, onder de valse vlag van het brengen van democratie en het bestrijden van mensenrechtenschendingen, zelfs als men een democratisch gekozen regime omver werpt en daar een dictator voor in de plaats parachuteert…… Of wat dacht je van het openlijk steunen van dictatoriaal geregeerde landen als Saoedi-Arabië, de Golfstaten, Egypte, Honduras, Filipijnen en ga nog maar even door……. Steun die niet zelden geleverd wordt door de CIA met ‘onderwijs’ hoe het best te martelen……

Ook in de binnenlandse politiek zijn menselijkheid, moraliteit en ethische waarden ver te zoeken, zie de omgang met de gekleurde bevolking, de vluchtelingen (veelal door VS ingrijpen op de vlucht geslagen) en de grote onderlaag…. Zo zijn meer dan 50 miljoen VS burgers afhankelijk van voedselbonnen, kunnen veel VS burgers belangrijke medische therapieën niet betalen en sterven mensen onnodig snel na constatering van bijvoorbeeld kanker……. Terwijl je het tegelijkertijd als politicus voor een groot deel kan vergeten als je niet van het christelijk geloof bent….* 

De VS is een maatschappij waar de armoede zo groot is dat velen zelfs met 2 banen nog niet rond kunnen komen en niet zelden mensen met meer banen niet eens een dak boven het hoofd hebben…….

Maar laat ik er verder het zwijgen toe doen, lees wat Haque te vertellen heeft en zie hoe ver de VS is afgezakt van de ‘morele ladder’ en is veranderd in een ijskoude, inhumane en wrede politiestaat, waar men nu zelfs bezig is om alle critici de mond te snoeren middels censuur…… Let wel: veel van wat Haque stelt is intussen ook al van toepassing op de EU en haar lidstaten, ook hier is moraliteit en ethisch handelen ver te zoeken, lullig genoeg zijn niet alleen politici maar net als in de VS, ook de reguliere media daar debet aan……

I
spent a gentle and quiet Thanksgiving with family, watching Christmas
movies and overeating — away from the internet. Yawning and
checking the headlines this morning, I was startled, horrified, to
see the picture above — toddlers being tear-gassed. I asked
myself what many of you probably did: “is this who we’ve become?
Or is this, perhaps, who we always were?”

What
a moral abomination — attacking children. Is there anything
lower? And yet that’s hardly the only one — what the world
regards as moral abomination has become a gruesome habit in America,
a grim feature of daily life. Here’s a shocking yet
somehow unsurprising statistic — 40% of Americans struggle to
pay for basic medicine. School shootings, opioids, suicide,
depression, an imploded middle class, the swelling ranks of the new
poor — everyday American life is an endless list of the kind of
stuff that would make dystopia blush. What links all these things?

America’s
a nation in steep, profound moral decline. It gasses “those”
kids — while making its own do “active shooter drills.”
What kind of society lets this happen? How did America become such a
society? I think it happened because America’s moral
muscles atrophied to the point that it became a moral
weakling — unable to shoulder any kind of weight, to act with
much humanity, decency, or goodness, towards itself, or othersNow, I
don’t say that to judge or condemn or shame — but to observe
gently, and to maybe point a way forward.

(Moral
atrophy shouldn’t be a surprise — Americans have been taught,
maybe indoctrinated, not to care for one another, that they are only
their “productivity” and “utility”, seduced or compelled into
a kind of survival-of-the-fittest culture of cruelty, overworking and
undervaluing themselves and each other, which is the inevitable
result of a history of exploitation, slavery, segregation. It
culminated in the apocalyptic every-man-for-himself ideologies of
neoliberalism and predatory, which imploded back into the supremacism
they were born from. But I’ll return to all this.)

Let
me explain what I mean, by way of an example.

Americans
are told that the only case they can make for things like immigration
and refugees is an economic one — hence, endless repetition of
the fact that refugees become immigrants, who set up businesses, and
create jobs, and XYZ percentage to GDP and so on. Very well, they do.
But that fact alone doesn’t convince the unpersuaded, does it? It
seems to elide, to miss, to evade something deeper, more crucial,
truer — about the heart and soul of a people and a nation.

What
is always left unmade — what perhaps cannot be discussed in
America — is the moral case. The truly moral one — not
just why acting in everyone’s best interest is right, but why it
is good.
Good for us all. Not just right — at
our own expense. Do you see the difference? Think about it. Aren’t
we told precisely the opposite in America? What’s good for everyone
is what’s bad for us. But is it really true?

What
we don’t discuss — what we aren’t allowed to discuss,
really — is how morality, true morality, as in humane and
caring acts of kindness and decency, not Darwinian-Nietszchean
survival of the fittest — dramatically alters the fortunes of a
society, betters the prosperity of a nation, in profound, lasting,
and transformative ways. Do you see how foreign and alien it is when
I speak this way? It is as if this is something that we can barely
bring ourselves to even conceive of in America today.

Why
is that? Why can’t we make the link between what is moral being
genuinely good for us, not just right at our own expense, exactly?
Why are we always more or less told to believe, in America, that what
is right and what is good are polar opposites? I’m asked by
mainstream American thinking to believe, for example, that my greed,
vanity, contempt, and selfishness will somehow lead to the best for
everyone. In other words, I should never use my moral muscles — that
way, everyone will be best off. What’s right is the enemy of what’s
good. But does that bizarre, twisted, convoluted logic seem to have
worked out for America to you?

Let
us think about what happens if a nation accepts refugees. Not to its
economy, per se — but to itself, it’s deeper capacities and
capabilities, all the things that underpin an economy, which is just
stuff. That act of care confirms, strengthens, and expands its
capacities for empathy, generosity, humility, courage, truth, wisdom,
and gratitude. It extends and commits it to freedom, to justice, to
equality, for all. It is an act that builds moral
muscles, in other words. But what do moral muscles allow — or
maybe compel — us to do?

The
growth of all those moral capacities, empathy, generosity, humility,
and so forth, in turn, make it much more likely that such a nation
will act humanely toward itself, too. Those moral muscles will give
it the reason and the power both to develop systems like universal
healthcare, childcare, retirement. They will help steer it away from
inequality and injustice and bigotry and resentment, and towards the
opposites. And if a nation has universal goods, like healthcare and
retirement and so on, then humane acts, like accepting refugees, will
probably reconfirm its commitment to them, as well, by testing the
limits of its own goodness, the power of its moral character.

Let
me distill the three key lessons. One, humane acts, by testing us, by
strengthening us, and by empowering us, build moral muscles in three
ways. And there is no other way to build moral muscles, really. Two,
using moral muscles builds moral strength. But leaving moral muscles
to atrophy makes a nation morally weak. Three, we can only really act
as humanely towards ourselves as do to others, and so when we act
humanely to others, it confirms and tests, expands and strengthens,
our own moral strength, too.

Now.
If all this is not just idle theory, but truth, then we would expect
to see something particular happening in the world. Those nations
with things like universal public goods would also have the most
humane policies towards refugees and so on. And that is very much the
case. Scandinavia, for example, has the world’s most expansive
public goods, which underpin the world’s highest quality of
life — and also, mostly, the most open stances towards
refugees. Many of these are the most moral societies in the
world — by that I hardly mean they are perfect, but I do mean
that in them, people treat each other with greater respect and
decency than elsewhere. Not just theoretically, but
genuinely — socially, economically, politically. You would be
quite right to say that’s changed in a place like Denmark — and
I’d say that stance towards refugees indicates a weakening of moral
muscles that will have effects on society itself, too, corroding its
humanity towards itself in the long run.

So
the link seems to be true in the real world, too — humane acts
build our moral muscles, and make it possible for us to act humanely
towards ourselves, too. When we do things like accept refugees, we
are in a sense going to the moral gym — and making sure we are
morally strong also ensures that we have the power and strength to
treat each other humanely, too.

You
would be right to say that I am suggesting nothing different than
Jesus or Buddha or the prophets said thousands of years ago. So why
are Americans taught that they were wrong, essentially? That what’s
moral must come at their own expense? That what’s right is the
enemy of what’s good — not that what’s right is what’s
good? Do you see my distinction? It’s a subtle — but I think
a crucial — one.

Let
me put it another way. Why are Americans never taught any of this?
That there’s a moral case for humane acts — like accepting
refugees — not just an economic one? Why does the kind of
discussion above — that links real world morality to economics
and society, and produces a more sophisticated account of the
prosperity of a nation — never really take place?

The
reason is that Americans have been confused about what morality is
for a very long time now. For example, in America, it is perfectly
acceptable to label selfishness, greed, spite, and cruelty merely as
“different kinds of morality.” But a sensible, thinking person
should reject this approach entirely. Me thinking your kids are not
really people or denying you healthcare or turning a blind when your
kids are shot at school is not moral in any sense of the word — and
so if we accept such stances merely as “different moralities”, we
undermine the idea of morality to the point it has no meaning
whatsoever. It may be something that elevates my status within my own
group — but in no sense is it moral, because what I give to my
own, I merely take away from yours.

At
minimum, performing one’s moral duty as a citizen of a society is
to imagine, to learn about, to reason towards, how to care for
all — not just some, those of your own tribe, race, color,
creed, religion, place, or stratum. When I put it to you that way, it
should be much clearer where America’s problems stem from. It
struggles to reach the mature morality of a developed nation, because
it has never really built moral muscles to begin with. America’s
moral horizons never really expand beyond the idea of caring for your
own tribe or group — that is the toxic residue of centuries of
slavery and segregation, which resulted in a social philosophy of
almost pure atomic individualism, bitter competition, and power,
money, and status as the prizes to be won. The idea that one’s
moral duty as a citizen is to care for all — how could it ever
develop in an America that was segregated until the 1970s?

But
today, that failure to develop moral muscles has left America in a
state of moral collapse. It is having a kind of implosive
blowback — only having been taught to care for themselves, or,
at best, their own kind, Americans are left unable to build a truly
modern society.

And
yet at the same time, Americans aren’t often offered a perspective
of themselves that goes beyond economistic — mere cogs in a
capitalist machine, not truly moral agents. But being true moral
agents is what forging a genuinely better society — a more
decent, humane, caring, courageous, and wise one — demands. How
can mere cogs in a capitalist machine ever do it? That is why cases
for human actions which only analyze economic consequences are badly
deficient things. They are well intentioned, but they don’t
ultimately help a society build its moral muscles. If the only reason
I am helping you is that I will grow rich — then I am not
acting morally at all, I am still just a self-interested automaton.
But if I am helping you because it is by helping that you that I help
all, of which I am a part, then I am a moral being, who can reason
morally, think morally, and act morally, too. Do you see the
difference?

The
atrophy of their moral muscles has left Americans weak where it
counts most. Not just economically or socially or politically. But
morally. One of the great lessons of the last century is that
morality and prosperity go hand in hand. The riches and wealth we
gain from exploiting others come with a curse — they cheat of
us modernity itself. But modernity’s riches — societies
wealthy in the most beneficial goods of all, like healthcare,
education, retirement, which then engender trust, meaning, belonging,
and purpose — cannot be had any other than by building one’s
moral muscles.

How
strong? So strong that it is each one’s first duty to lift up all.

De
39 jarige Terry James Albury, een voormalig FBI agent, kreeg 4 jaar onvoorwaardelijke
gevangenisstraf opgelegd door een rechter in Saint Paul, de
hoofdstad van Minnesota. Middels het lekken van 50
geheime documenten toonde Albury aan dat de FBI aan etnisch
profileren doet en zoals je begrijpt is dit etnisch profileren ontoelaatbaar, echter niet in de VS….*

Echter
in ‘the land of the free’ is alles mogelijk, dus ook een rechter die
vindt dat Albury met het lekken van deze documenten de
staatsveiligheid in gevaar heeft gebracht…… ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!
Ja, uiterst gevaarlijk als je bewijst dat de FBI een racistische
dienst is, de witten moeten natuurlijk wel ongestoord en in het geniep de zwarten
onder de duim kunnen houden, op wat voor manier dan ook……..

Onbegrijpelijk dat de rechter Albury schuldig verklaarde, ze is dan ook een witte rechter t.w.: Wilhelmina Wright…..

Inderdaad,
Albury hoort niet in psychopaten organisatie FBI, immers bij die organisatie ontbreekt het
aan elk moreel besef en integriteit!

Ongelofelijk te zien hoe Albury zich heeft gevoegd naar de aanklager en zichzelf de schuld in de schoenen schoof, dit in de hoop gevangenisstraf te ontlopen (het zogenaamde plea bargain**), terwijl deze klokkenluider op de schouders zou moeten worden gehesen door het openbaren van dit zware onrecht…..***  Ach ja, ook met klokkenluiders in Nederland loopt het veel te vaak slecht af……

Former
FBI Agent Who Outed Bureau’s Racial Profiling Sentenced to 4 Years
for Leaking Classified Documents

A
former Minnesota FBI agent was sentenced to prison on Thursday in
Saint Paul’s U.S. District Court after leaking classified
information.

39-year-old
Terry James Albury left the courthouse as soon as he was handed down
his four year sentence plus an additional three years of supervised
release. He agreed to surrender to a date that will likely be
determined within the next 45-60 days according to KTSP.

Albury
pleads guilty
in April to
one count each of retention of national defense information
and unauthorized disclosure of national defense information. He
worked as a liaison with Border Protection at MSP International
Airport and Department of Customs in 2016-2017 and as an FBI
Special Agent in Minnesota within the same time period.

The
defendant held a Top Secret Information security clearance
because of his work with the FBI and had access to “sensitive and
classified FBI and other U.S. government information” according to
law officials.

The
prosecution claimed Albury stole more than 50 classified documents
and shared national defense information to a reporter from the online
news outlet Intercept. One of the documents classified as “secret”
included information on how to the FBI assesses confidential
informants and a document “relating to threats posed by
certain individuals from a particular Middle Eastern country.”

Albury
told the court he leaked the documents because he felt the FBI
policies were an act of racial profiling which he regarded as
“suspicion” and “disrespect.” His attorneys said Albury acted
out of “conscience” and was troubled by the racism within the
bureau.

U.S.
District Judge Wilhelmina Wright said Albury abused his position as
an FBI agent and placed the United States in danger.

“You
did so knowingly. You did so willingly,” Wright told Albury in
court. “You knew that what you did was a criminal act, and you knew
that you were putting the nation’s security at risk.”

She
added, “I’m not blind to the racism in our society… I’m not
blind to being a minority. … “But that’s not an excuse.”

Before
Wright sentenced the 39-year-old to prison, he told the judge,
“I sincerely wanted to make a difference a difference and
never wanted to put anyone in danger.”

The
defendant said he fully accepted “responsibility for what” he did
and apologized to his “family and former colleagues.”

Albury’s
legal team hoped he’d get probation because of his two young
children and wife. However, Judge Wright said his sentencing reflects
the seriousness of the offenses he committed and should hinder others
from doing the same.

Special
Agent Jill Sanborn who’s in charge of the Minneapolis Field
Division released the following statement:

“Former
Agent Albury’s conduct was an act of selfishness in an organization
full of selfless people and today’s sentence will serve as an
appropriate punishment for his criminal conduct. … He betrayed
his colleagues and the trust the public puts in the men and women of
the FBI to keep them and our communities safe.”

*    Hoewel velen ook in de politiek en politie van ons land vinden dat dit etnisch profileren wel moet kunnen en vindt deze vorm van discriminatie dan ook nog steeds dagelijks plaats in ons land……..

**  Plea bargain: je kan je in veel gevallen beter schuldig verklaren, zelfs als je iets niet gedaan hebt, daar je anders een veel hogere straf krijgt…. Naar zo’n land levert Nederland zelfs de eigen burgers uit…..

*** Vergeet daarbij niet dat na aanhouding middels etnisch profileren, jaarlijks ook nog eens een enorm aantal onschuldig mensen in de VS door de politie worden doodgeschoten, ofwel vermoord en dat alleen daar ze ‘de pech hebben’ gekleurd te zijn…… De VS ‘land of the free…’ (althans als je als burger wit bent, geen kritiek levert op de regering en geld op de bank hebt…..)

VS ontwikkelde wapen tegen demonstranten dat o.a. de huid op grote afstand aantast…..

Hoe
godvergeten smerig en slecht moet je als wetenschapper zijn om een wapen te
ontwikkelen dat in de hoogste stand uiterst pijnlijk de bovenlaag van
de huid doet verdampen, dwars door kleding en zelfs leer heen, dit wapen wordt aangeduid als SCUPLS wat staat voor: Scalable Compact Ultra-short Pulse Laser System……..

Met
dit wapen in een andere stand kunnen mensen tijdelijk blind of doof worden gemaakt……

Dergelijke
wetenschappers zouden voor het Internationaal Strafhof moeten worden
gedaagd, immers als de doos van Pandora eenmaal is geopend is deze
welhaast niet meer te sluiten zeker niet in de VS, waar men mensen die terecht demonstreren afschildert als terroristen, ook al zijn deze mensen geweldloos bezig……. 

Het openen
van die doos is al gebeurd met het ontwikkelen van dit afschuwelijke
wapen, al moet het nog verder worden ‘geperfectioneerd….’ Wetenschappers in de VS moeten toch intussen wel weten, dat de VS elk ontwikkeld wapen zal gebruiken, de (ook recente) geschiedenis staat vol voorbeelden…..

Recent
reporting out of the Pentagon reveals that the U.S. military is
working on perfecting what they called a Scalable Compact Ultra-short
Pulse Laser System (SCUPLS)—or plasma gun, for short—intended for
mounting on a truck or a tank.

Billed
as the military’s latest “crowd control” technology, what this
has typically meant is a new “non-lethal” weapon designed for use
by militaries or police forces against unruly demonstrators or those
standing against
powerful state actors or corporate forces.

According
to U.S.
government documents,
the aim of the ongoing project is to develop “a lightweight and
energy efficient next-generation Ultra-Short Pulse Laser (USPL)
system that can produce sustainable and controllable plasma at range
capable of inducing a full spectrum of scalable non-lethal effects.”
As a so-called “scalable” weapon, it will be able to shoot not
only piercing sounds, but also “burn off” or “vaporize” human
skin, and ultimately could be used to kill its target.

As
the Daily
Mail recently explained,
the weapon will be able to “produce a range of effects”:

  • At
    the lowest setting, the weapon can produce speech, and it will be
    able to warn people up to 3,200 feet (1,000m) away by delivering
    voice messages.

  • When
    it gets closer, the weapon will  deliver a ‘Flash-bang
    effect’ by sending an ‘acoustic blast of ~ 165+ dB at minimum
    distance of 100 meters’.

  • It
    will also be able to send a ‘Flash blind effects (6-8 million
    candela)’ momentarily blinding people at minimum distance of 100
    meters

  • The
    highest setting of the current model will let loose ‘Full scalable
    thermal ablative effects’ through common natural clothing (i.e.,
    fabric, denim, leather, etc.) at minimum distance of 100 meters.
    This would painfully vaporize the outer layer of skin – rather
    than burning it will be turned into gas.

Vaporizing
skin? Yes,
that’s precisely what “scalable thermal ablative effects”
means.

Ultimately,
as the government’s program plan lays out, the weapon would “have
direct application to many other U.S. Government agencies as well as
civilian law enforcement. The Department of Homeland Security,
Department of State, Department of Justice, the Secret Service, and
Customs and Border Protection also desire this full spectrum of
effects capability. The ability to non-lethally interdict a
threatening person or persons has utility in many security and crowd
control applications to include several municipal applications.”

Of
course, what this often means is using such a weapon—as has long
been true with other “crowd control” technologies—in order to
intimidate or put down public protest or organized demonstrations
that are seen as threatening to powerful interests.

Grapperhaus (CDA minister Justitie) komt met fascistisch wetsvoorstel t.b.v. wapenvergunning

Dacht werkelijk dat ik erin bleef, toen ik afgelopen donderdagmorgen het nieuws hoorde dat CDA flapdrol en momenteel godbetert minister van Justitie Grapperhaus en zijn ‘Christen’Unie collega minister Schouten, van o.a. Natuur, met een wetsvoorstel zijn gekomen t.a.v. het afgeven van een wapenvergunning.

Het lijkt dit onzalige stel en de rest van het petkabinet Rutte 3 wel zinnig te vragen naar, houd je vast: religie, etnische afkomst, ras en politieke overtuiging, om daarna de afweging te maken of iemand wel of niet een dodelijk wapen in huis mag hebben……..

Dat al de voorgaande zaken niet kunnen voorkomen dat iemand met een pistool en/of geweer tekeer gaat in het openbaar dan wel achter de voordeur, blijkt wel uit het grote aantal doden dat jaarlijks in de VS valt als gevolg van wapengeweld, te weten 30.000……

Al moet ik toegeven dat witte agenten in de VS het vooral gemunt hebben op gekleurde mensen en het wat dat betreft zinnig zou zijn, hen het pistool af te nemen*.                         

In Nederland hebben al vaker agenten achter de voordeur van hun huis de rest van hun gezin doodgeschoten, om daarna zichzelf van kant te maken……. Veel politiepersoneel is ronduit rechts, zoals ik tijdens m’n leven maar al te vaak heb moeten ondervinden. Voorts is dit te zien in het door agenten pesten van collega’s met bijvoorbeeld een Marokkaanse of Hindoestaanse afkomst, zo zeer dat deze mensen de politie zijn ontvlucht…….. En dan wordt er geklaagd dat er zo weinig belangstelling is voor het politiewerk bij mensen met een andere dan Nederlandse afkomst….** Bovendien, het etnisch profileren wordt niet afgedwongen van boven en toch maken veel agenten zich daar schuldig aan…..

Ondanks dat huiselijk geweld, mogen die agenten hun dienstwapen mee naar huis nemen………. (even is er sprake geweest van beperking op het meenemen van het dienstwapen naar huis, maar dat werd in 2015 met een beroep op terreuraanslagen losgelaten)….

Bij jagers is het helemaal belachelijk, immers je hebt in feite te maken met een stel psychopaten dat kikt op het doodschieten van dieren en zoals je ongetwijfeld begrijpt, de scheidslijn tot het neerschieten van mensen is dan erg klein……

Dan de politieke overtuiging: terugkomend op het politiepersoneel zal wapenbezit niet ontzegd worden aan laten we zeggen PVV fascisten of andere extreemrechtse politieke voorkeuren…… Voorts zijn er de uiterst rechtse studenten weer-corpsen, die worden getraind in het omgaan met vuurwapens. De leden van die corpsen kunnen worden ingezet als de Nederlandse overheid dat nodig acht, bijvoorbeeld in tijd van oorlog, kunnen ze mooi het (echt) links denkend deel van Nederland opbrengen en in kampen opsluiten. (tot links behoort de PvdA al lang niet meer, hetzelfde geldt in feite voor ‘GroenLinks’ [als deze politici mee mogen regeren gaan ze met de meest achterlijke zaken akkoord, zoals ze lokaal en provinciaal al hebben bewezen])…….

Kijk want juist de groep echt linkse Nederlanders mogen geen wapens hebben, daar zijn ook de geheime diensten MIVD en AIVD het over eens……. Dan is daar nog de SP en zoals we voorafgaand aan de laatste Kamerverkiezingen konden zien, als het erop lijkt dat men groot genoeg is om te regeren, worden er als bij ‘GroenLinks’ allerlei compromissen gesloten en wordt het linkse gehalte fiks verdund met neoliberale compromissen….. Zie verder ook Harry van Bommel, een SP’er die tevens reserve officier is en dat is zoals je begrijpt al heel lang zo; me dunkt een teken aan de wand……

‘Religieuze overtuiging’ afhankelijk maken van het wel of niet mogen hebben van een wapenvergunning, ‘natuurlijk’ geen probleem als je christelijk of hindoestaans bent, maar wel als je moslim bent……. Zie wat ik net schreef over de politie en het treiteren van niet witte collega’s van Marokkaanse (of Turkse) komaf, veelal moslims….. De laatste 50 jaar zijn veel meer doden bij wapengeweld gevallen door witte, niet moslim wapenbezitters, dan andersom……..

Wat betreft religie en wapengeweld kan je nog kijken naar de VS, waar een president het zich niet kan veroorloven niet praktiserend christen te zijn, terwijl dit middels een genocide gestolen land een enorme geschiedenis van grootschalige terreur heeft, alleen al vanaf WOII maakte dit land tot nu toe meer dan 22 miljoen doden in landen waar het niets te zoeken had en heeft…*** Grootschalige ‘christelijke’ terreur! Wellicht moet Grapperhaus ook VS burgers en militairen aan z’n fascistenlijstje toevoegen……

Wat nog te zeggen over het ‘ras’ van mensen als factor voor het wel of niet toekennen van een wapenvergunning?? Ten eerst bestaat de mens niet uit rassen maar soorten, het menselijk ras is één! Ten Tweede als je dergelijke nonsens als bepalend acht, moet je toch echt eens kijken naar de (recente) geschiedenis: ‘het witte ras’ is verreweg de meest gewelddadige mens op aarde, zie wat dat betreft ook de zojuist genoemde VS en de grootscheepse terreur die dit land uitoefent op veel plekken in de wereld…….

Kortom dit wetsvoorstel komt uit een heel smerige fascistische koker….. Weet je wat het ergst van al is? Dat deze Grapperhaus gvd minister van Justitie mag spelen en intussen rondloopt met dit soort fascistische denkbeelden….. (hetzelfde geldt overigens voor Schouten) Ongelofelijk en totaal ongeloofwaardig!!

Fascisme nog steeds niet begrepen in de VS en de EU

Beste
bezoeker lees het volgende opiniestuk van Umair Haque.
Hierin legt hij uit dat de VS geen snars begrijpt van fascisme: de
opkomst en het grote gevaar van fascisme zoals we dat in Duitsland,
Italië, Spanje en aantal Latijns Amerikaanse landen hebben gezien.

Moet wel opmerken dat wat mij betreft de VS al een fascistoïde maatschappij is, neem de omgang van de politie met de gekleurde en zeker met de zwarte minderheid in de VS. Dan is er nog het frustreren van het kiesrecht voor gekleurden, die veelal niet eens kunnen stemmen als ze daartoe gemachtigd zijn (en aan die machtiging wordt ook nu weer flink geknaagd)…… Wat voorts te denken over het inperken van vrouwenrechten (zoals voor abortus en anticonceptie) in een aantal VS staten…….

en geeft het ajb door, ook hier begrijpt men niet welk gevaar de
fascisten vormen voor onze toch al lamme democratie….. Hoewel wij
de les bij wijze van spreke aan den lijve hebben ondervonden, zie je
ook de neoliberale partijen als VVD, D66, CDA (in feite ook
neoliberaal), PvdA, CU en SGP meer en meer uiterst rechtse of beter gezegd fascistoïde denkbeelden omarmen, zie alleen al hoe men met vluchtelingen en hun
kinderen denkt om te kunnen gaan………. 

De CU sputtert nog wel wat op het gebied van vluchtelingen, maar deze hypocriete partij blijft wel achter  het inhumane waardeloze kabinet Rutte 3 staan, een kabinet waar het zelf aan deelneemt…… Sterker nog: dit kabinet kan niet zonder de steun van de ‘Christen’Unie…..

Ook het etnisch profileren in de VS en hier, is feitelijk een fascistische vorm van politie-inzet……

Bovendien is het
neoliberalisme uiteindelijk goed beschouwt niets anders dan een fascistisch
gedachtegoed! Daar is Haque het overigens niet mee eens, gezien het artikel dat hieronder is opgenomen. 

Verder stelt Haque dat de hang naar fascisme niet in de grote steden is te vinden, echter daar ben ik het niet met hem eens, zie alleen al de neonazi parades in diverse grote steden in de VS. 

Hooguit kan je uit het stemgedrag buiten de grote steden in de VS als meer rechts bestempelen dan in de grote steden, waar uiteraard het discriminerende gedrag tegen de gekleurde minderheid in die gebieden extremer is dan in de grote steden, ook al schiet de politie in de VS meer gekleurden neer in de grote steden van de VS…..

Vergeet verder het gevaar niet van de steeds verder toenemende macht van grote bedrijven die met een beroep op duurzaamheid intussen de wereld verder verrampeneren en de volksgezondheid ondergeschikt houden aan het maken van (mega) winsten……. Waar dit bedrijfsleven graag foute regimes steunt en van de VS regering eist dat consumenten zo min mogelijk te vertellen hebben over o.a. voedselveiligheid…… Ook hier is dit te zien, al helpen onze politici daar graag aan mee, neem het TTIP handelsverdrag*, een verdrag waarmee de consument wordt gereduceerd tot een lastige klant die zich vooral niet moet bemoeien met voedselveiligheid en zaken als genetische manipulatie……. Verder is het een feit dat het bedrijfsleven in Duitsland het prima deed in aanloop van WOII (vanaf 1933) en de eerste twee jaren van die oorlog…… Sterker nog: zonder het grote bedrijfsleven was Hitler (en de NSDAP) waarschijnlijk niet zo machtig geworden……..

Doesn’t Understand About Fascism

What
Happens When a Rich Society Suddenly Becomes a Poor One?

Today, I read, as you probably
did, that
Steve Bannon is to keynote the New Yorker’s Ideas Festival.
LOL — it should go without saying that’s a pretty good
indication that a society is out of ideas. Yet I can almost hear the
reasoning in the New Yorker’s offices. Their problem is that
American thinkers have no real explanation for fascism — just
fairy tales — and that leaves you with…the fascists. Or maybe
they just wanted to stoke controversy and make money (I’d give them
more credit than that, but I digress.)

Let’s take the fairy tales Americans
tell themselves about fascism — there are three — one by
one, and then discuss what really causes fascism (and why American
thinkers are completely unable to get it, even at this late stage).
You can skip this part if you want the less nerdy stuff.

— Fascism is caused by identity
politics. This
is what Francis Fukuyama suggests in his new book — and
I’d say he should be ashamed of himself, if it weren’t so funny
and laughable. I decide to be a gender-nonconforming them, not a he
anymore, and you respond by…cheering on Mexican babies as they’re
put in camps? LOL, you see why I think American thinkers don’t know
how to think anymore? It’s not just childishly absurd — it’s
a grotesque form of victim-blaming, that obviates freedom or liberty
in any genuine sense, every bit the equivalent of saying “well, you
shouldn’t have worn that dress…!”

— Fascism is a cycle, a backlash
against “too much liberalism.” This seems to explain things — but
it doesn’t. What is “too much liberalism?” When we have
healthcare? Or just sewers and pipes? Does that mean that human
beings are doomed to be fascists? This is a kind of theology of
individualism — not really an explanation for fascism.

— Fascism happens when white people
are afraid of becoming a minority. This explanation is trotted out
regularly by American pundits. But whites in Sweden are in no danger
of becoming a minority — yet extremism is in second place
there, in the upcoming election. That’s true in Italy, Poland,
Hungary, and Russia, too. So this theory is obviously false — it
can’t explain the global rise of fascism even a bit.

These three explanations lead to what
I call the meteor strike theory of fascism. Since we have no real
explanation, it becomes a random event, a kind of natural
catastrophe. But if it’s a natural catastrophe, then we have no
control over it. And if we have no control over it, then maybe the
best we can do is…invite the fascists to headline our festivals. As
a way to negotiate and bargain with them. Does that make sense?

Now. Let us try to look at all the
above from another perspective. Not the one of what we believe, but
simply what we know. What do we know about how America has changed
over the last thirty years?

80% of Americans now live paycheck to
paycheck. 70% have less than $1000 in savings. 70% expect their kids
to live worse lives. Life expectancy is falling. Real incomes are
shrinking. Suicides are skyrocketing. Depression and loneliness are
soaring. The old can’t afford to retire, and the young can’t
afford to start families. The middle class has imploded, and the
ranks of the poor have swollen. What does all this really say?

America is a rich country
that effectively became a poor one — in the space of a
generation. Is it
any surprise that this sudden, unexpected, historic collapse would
massively, catastrophically destabilize society — and give rise
to fascism?

(Perhaps you object. The mistake many
Americans make is to think that flat-screen TVs and microwave ovens
somehow make them better off than people in poorer countries. They
don’t. People in Pakistan and Chile can afford those things, too.
Poverty — the experience of deprivation — is a truer
thing that not having a flat-screen TV. It’s about living at the
edge of perpetual ruin, which is something that most Americans now
face daily)

How might a society plunging from
riches into poverty destabilize into fascism, precisely? The social
bonds in a town or community get blown apart. People turn to fascism
for belonging. The sense of optimism and faith in the future people
have is destroyed. They turn to fascism for hope again. All the good
jobs are gone. People seek scapegoats to blame for their
miseries — the very ones they’ve barely learned to tolerate
living next to. Life is a frightening thing now — people seek
the soothing, comforting words of a demagogue.

You must work harder every year, just
to keep your head above water — the demagogue is the only one
who tells you this is wrong and unjust, while elites don’t seem to
notice or care much at all. You never expected to be poor — yet
here you are. Suicides and illnesses and drug use have come to
surround you. Everything seems broken — towns, communities,
cities, bonds, families, jobs, livelihoods, careers, even people. In
the end, you turn to fascism to restore all the things you feel have
been taken away from you — trust, meaning, purpose, belonging,
optimism, opportunity, fairness, dignity, pride, and strength.

Those things are what poverty is
really made of, and the new poverty that Americans face isn’t just
financial — it’s made of all the elements of a decent life.
In hard terms, poverty of human, intellectual, social, emotional, and
civic capital, to name just a few.

Now, if the theory is correct, we’d
expect to see fascism rising in places where all the above is
true — where poverty in all these forms has risen, where all
these real “capital deficits” have grown. Where are those places?
They are not places that have always been poor — but of
downward mobility. And that’s precisely what we do see. American
fascism isn’t rising in inner cities — but in Rust Belt
towns, in exurbs, in third-tier cities, in the regions where people
expected easy, comfortable lives, like their parents and
grandparents — but instead, are ending up elsewhere, and can’t
understand why, or what to do about it all. Bang! The fascist spark
is lit by the implosion of the middle class.

The fascist isn’t the
prole — he’s the frustrated bourgeoisie. The one whom
capitalism promised to make a capitalist — but only did it to
sell him on capitalism. It
had no intention of ever making him a true capitalist, like Bezos,
Gates, or Buffett — why would it? Capitalism isn’t there to
make him rich, it’s there to make them rich. So the prole turns to
tribalism, hierarchy, and predation, then, for the power and riches
and comfort he was promised — and still hungers for.

So now our theory goes something like
this. Capitalism promised proles bourgeois lives — it was the
best marketing trick in history, perhaps. But all it ever really
wanted to do was to squeeze the proles — and maximize profits.
Those disappointed would-be bourgeoisie, who are now poorer than
ever, enraged, losing trust and faith in the system, living at the
edge, turn to fascism. They band together into tribes of the pure—
so the prole, if he can’t be a real capitalist, a true bourgeois,
can at least be powerful enough to prey on the weak. The sudden,
jabbing sting of poverty, the feeling of being empty, hopeless, weak,
damaged, forgotten, abandoned, becomes a sense of of belonging,
meaning, purpose, safety, security, and strength. Now he is someone
again.

So the disappointed prole turns to
fascism to restore precisely the things that capitalism took away
from him — what it was impoverishing him of while he wasn’t
looking. But that means that he is at the mercy of tribal logic, in
all its fearfulness and cowardice and stupidity, too. The rage that
should be directed at capitalism is pointed at scapegoats. The anger
that should be directed at those above him is aimed below him. The
contempt he should have for the rich is turned into scorn of the
poor. The disappointment he should have in greed, egotism, and
self-concern instead turns to a vengeful resentment of the smallest
differences. He imagines that he is history’s great victim,
persecuted by malign forces, hunted, and hounded — and so
everything becomes an existential battle, in which only the strong
survive, and must act pre-emptively, to eliminate their enemies.
Self-preservation means that the price of survival is to become a
predator. Nobody will ever make him poor again — he will make
sure of it, by making everyone else less of a person at all.

Predatory
capitalism degenerates into fascism, by creating the glittering
expectation of riches, but the shattering reality of poverty.
Enraged, embittered, aggrieved, people turn on their neighbours,
colleagues, friends, and peers, preying on the weak, to gain back the
very things capitalism took away from them — even as it
promised them dreams of bourgeois wealth. If it can’t
live like the bourgeois, as capitalism promised, the tribe will take
whatever it can, by more vicious means, not to be poor in these ways
ever again. Democracy itself begins to wither and die. Society
shrivels. Norms and values are ripped apart. Everything seems to
shatter.

The world has seen all this before.
This was the story of Germany in the 1930s, almost exactly. A rich
society which had suddenly become poor. A middle class imploding.
People turning on their friends and neighbours. The tribe seizing for
itself what capitalism had promised — but never had any
intention of delivering. In more and more violent ways. Led by a
demagogue. Who made people feel strong and powerful and hopeful
again. Bang! Fascism.

That story is being retold in American
today. America can’t quite bring itself to believe it. It is too
busy telling itself fairy tales and fables. That is why Steve Bannon
can headline a festival of ideas — LOL — while a nation
seems to think fascism is the equivalent of a meteor strike. Fairy
tales, my friends, do not help you, in the deep, dark night, when the
monsters judder and screech. They are only there to lull us asleep.

Colin
Kaepernick, de ‘American’ football speler, werd uitgekotst nadat hij
volkomen terecht uit protest tegen het grote aantal moorden door de
politie in de VS op gekleurde VS burgers*, knielde tijdens het
volkslied i.p.v. te staan met de hand op het hart. (ha! ha! ha! ha!)  Gekleurde burgers die jaarlijks (veelal) zonder enige reden worden doodgeschoten door de politie…… E.e.a. ingegeven door de Black Lives Matter (BLM) beweging, die zich het lot van de zwarte bevolking in de VS aantrekt. 

Staan met de hand op het hart voor het belachelijke
volkslied van de VS, onderdeel van ceremonies die een genocide op de oorspronkelijke bewoners
moet verdoezelen en er bij de kinderen al instampt dat de VS het door god gegeven land (aan de import burgers) is………

Vanmorgen
bracht BNR dit nieuws, waarin o.a. werd gemeld dat hysterische
nationalistische burgers op grote schaal hun Nike schoenen hebben
verbrand (de kwalificaties zijn van mijn hand, zoals je waarschijnlijk al had begrepen)…… Ofwel een fiks deel van de VS bevolking maakt zich net
als de president, het beest Trump, druk om het knielen voor het
volkslied**, terwijl ze zich niet eens druk maken over de jaarlijkse
massamoord op hun gekleurde medeburgers……..

Kaepernick
stond al lang onder contract bij Nike, al deed Nike daar na alle
consternatie niets mee, Kaepernick werd overigens gewoon doorbetaald door het bedrijf. Wel heeft het
bedrijf laten weten het recht van vrijheid op meningsuiting te respecteren,
daarmee gaf het bedrijf in feite aan dat het achter Kaepernick en
zijn collega’s die zijn voorbeeld volgden staat.

Het is
dan ook een geweldige stap van Nike om nu een reclame campagne te
starten met Kaeperick ‘in de hoofdrol.’

Colin
Kaepernick, the former N.F.L. quarterback who inspired a player
protest movement but who has been out of a job for more than a year,
has signed a new, multiyear deal with Nike that makes him a face of
the 30th anniversary of the sports apparel company’s “Just Do It”
campaign, Nike confirmed on Monday.

The
first advertisement from Nike, one of the league’s top partners,
debuted Monday afternoon, when Kaepernick tweeted
it,
assuring that his activism and the protest movement against racism
and social injustice he started would continue to loom over one of
the country’s most powerful sports leagues.

Nike
will produce new Kaepernick apparel, including a shoe and a T-shirt,
and if the merchandise sells well, the value of the deal will rival
those of other top N.F.L. players, according to people close to the
negotiations who spoke on condition of anonymity because Nike had not
formally announced it. Nike will also donate money to
Kaepernick’s “Know
Your Rights” campaign.

The
N.F.L. did not immediately respond to requests for comment. The ad
and the campaign, coming a few days before the start of the N.F.L.
season on Thursday, is likely to annoy the league’s top executives
and its owners. On Thursday, Kaepernick won a victory in his
grievance against the league when an arbitrator let his case, in
which he accuses the league of conspiring to keep him off the field
because of his activism, advance.

A
wave of on-field protests has continued, with varying degrees of
intensity, since summer 2016, when Kaepernick began kneeling during
the playing of the national anthem.

The
N.F.L. has struggled to contain the on-field protests, which have
also included raised fists and other gestures, which league officials
have blamed for dragging down the league. Television ratings have
declined and certain segments of the fan base have reacted angrily.
President Trump has made the N.F.L. a target for not firing players
who refuse to stand for the national anthem.

The
Kaepernick deal could be awkward for the league.

In
March, Nike and the N.F.L. announced an extension of an apparel deal
through 2028. As part of that deal, Nike supplies 32 teams with
game-day uniforms and sideline apparel that features the company’s
swoosh logo. When that deal was announced, Brian Rolapp, the NFL’s
chief media and business officer, called the company “a longtime
and trusted partner” of the league.

Kaepernick
and Nike already had an endorsement deal, dating to when he entered
the league in 2011, but it was expiring soon and has now been
extended.

The
new Kaepernick ad features a close-up, black-and-white photograph of
his face, with copy that references his kneeling and his belief that
his activism is keeping him out of the league.

The
ad reads: “Believe in something. Even if it means sacrificing
everything.”

When
asked if Nike had run the campaign by the N.F.L., a spokeswoman,
Sandra Carreon-John, responded: “Nike has a longstanding
relationship with the N.F.L. and works extensively with the league on
all campaigns that use current N.F.L. players and its marks. Colin is
not currently employed by an N.F.L. team and has no contractual
obligation to the N.F.L.”

The
new contract was negotiated by Kaepernick’s lawyers, Mark Geragos
and Ben Meiselas, and Nike executives.

Even
as the N.F.L. season approaches, the Kaepernick story has continued
to dominate the N.F.L. narrative. On Friday, Kaepernick received an
ovation from the crowd at the United States Open match between Serena
Williams and Venus Williams.

Serena
Williams, LeBron James, Odell Beckham Jr., Shaquem Griffin and Lacey
Baker are also part of the “Just Do It” anniversary campaign.

Nike’s
decision to make new Kaepernick merchandise and to make him the face
of a campaign could, if they are successful for the company, undercut
the argument from N.F.L. owners that he is bad for business.
Previously, Nike stated that
it “supports athletes and their right to freedom of expression on
issues that are of great importance to our society,” but the
company had not used Kaepernick in any recent ad campaigns.

There
is reason to believe that Kaepernick, despite not playing, will move
merchandise. During the second quarter of 2017, his officially
licensed jersey was the 39th-best
selling in the league.
As an unsigned free agent, he was the only player in the top 50 of
those rankings not signed to a team.

With
Kaepernick seemingly having little chance of playing in the N.F.L.
again, Geragos was eager to try to portray him as something more than
a football player.

“I
give Nike credit for understanding that he’s not just an athlete,
he has become an icon,” Geragos said.

Gisteren
bracht John Whitehead een opiniestuk op de site van The Rutherford
Institute, waarin hij aangeeft ‘hoe makkelijk’ hele steden op slot
kunnen worden gedaan…..

In zijn
woonplaats Charlottesville maakte hij het zelf mee: een jaar geleden
waren er rellen in Charlottesville waarbij een fascist een moord
pleegde op een demonstrant die zich tegen de fascistisch parade in
Charlottesville keerde*. Dezelfde dag een jaar later werd voorafgegaan door het met veel bombarie op slot gooien van de stad, waarbij de bewoners werden geacht zoveel mogelijk in huis te blijven. De noodtoestand en de staat van beleg werden afgekondigd, zonder dat daar ook maar één aanwijsbare reden voor was (bijvoorbeeld de aankondiging van de neonazi’s dat ze weer een parade zouden houden in Charlottesville…)…. 

De
politie in de VS is in hoge mate gemilitariseerd, inclusief
automatische wapens die de VS o.a. gebruikt in haar illegale
oorlogen in het Midden-Oosten en Afrika…… Hetzelfde geldt voor
een deel van het rollend materieel van de politie: pantserwagens en
zelfs een klein soort tank….. Dit nog naast de National Guard, in feite een paramilitaire organisatie met reservisten, die bij grote rellen e.d. regelmatig te zien is in de straten van de
VS en de beschikking heeft over een veel groter deel van het oorlogstuig dat de VS in het buitenland gebruikt (zoals gezegd in illegale oorlogen), dus ook tanks en ‘oorlogshelikopters…….’ 

Al moet aan het voorgaande worden toegevoegd dat de ‘gewone’ politie meer en meer wordt gemilitariseerd en daarmee de beschikking krijgt over steeds meer oorlogsmaterieel en er steeds minder verschil is te zien tussen de politie en de National Guard….. Uiteraard ‘met dank’ aan de lobby van de wapenfabrikanten…………

De VS is
dan ook verworden tot een politiestaat en dat al enige jaren, het
ontbreekt nog net aan volledige censuur, al wordt daar met hulp van
Facebook en Google hard aan gewerkt…..** Hoewel de VS keer op keer als excuus voor militair ingrijpen aanvoert dat het democratie wil brengen, terwijl in eigen land ‘de democratie’ wordt gekocht met enorme bakken geld en het buitenspel zetten van grote groepen (arme en veelal gekleurde) kiezers……

De
schrijver van het hieronder opgenomen artikel van The Rutherford Institute, John Whitehead, is het ‘niet helemaal eens’ met het
voorgaande, hij ziet de VS transformeren in een politiestaat. Whitehead gaat o.a. in op de manier waarop de bevolking monddood wordt gemaakt en op bepaalde momenten zelfs geen vrijheid van bewegen heeft in de eigen stad…… Voorts noemt hij o.a. Göring die na WOII op het proces van Neurenberg aangaf wat er nodig is om een bevolking te manipuleren.

indoors for an entire day, home from work and school, from
neighborhood errands and out-of-town travel. It takes a remarkable
force to keep businesses closed and cars off the road, to keep
playgrounds empty and porches unused across a densely populated place
125 square miles in size. This happened … not because armed
officers went door-to-door, or imposed a curfew, or threatened
martial law. All around the region, for 13 hours, people locked up
their businesses and ‘sheltered in place’ out of a kind of
collective will. The force that kept them there wasn’t external –
there was virtually no active enforcement across the city of the
governor’s plea that people stay indoors. Rather,
the pressure was an internal one – expressed as concern, or
helpfulness, or in some cases, fear – felt in thousands of
individual homes.” —

has become way too easy to lockdown this nation.

Five
years ago, the
city of Boston was locked down while
police carried out a military-style manhunt for suspects in the 2013
Boston Marathon explosion.

Four
years ago, the city of Ferguson, Missouri, was locked down, with
government officials deploying a massive SWAT team, an armored
personnel carrier, men in camouflage pointing heavy artillery at the
crowd, smoke bombs and tear gas to
quell citizen unrest over
a police shooting of a young, unarmed black man.

Three
years ago, the
city of Baltimore was put under a military-enforced lockdown after
civil unrest over police brutality erupted into rioting. More than
1,500 national guard troops were deployed while residents were
ordered to stay inside their homes and put under a 10 pm curfew.

This
year, it was my hometown
of Charlottesville, Va., population 50,000, that was locked
down while
government officials declared a state of emergency and enacted
heightened security measures tantamount to martial law, despite the
absence of any publicized information about credible threats to
public safety.

As
Tess Owen reports for Vice:

One
year after white supremacists paraded through the streets, the face
of downtown Charlottesville was transformed once again – this
time with checkpoints, military-style camps for National Guard, and
state police on every corner. When
residents woke up Saturday, all entrances to the downtown mall were
blocked off, apart from two checkpoints, where police looked through
people’s bags for lighters, knives or any other weapons. Up above,
standing atop a building site, two national guard members
photographed the individuals coming in and out… A National Guard
encampment was set up in McGuffey Park, between the children’s
playground and the basketball court, where about 20 military police
officers in camouflage were snoozing in the shade of some trees. A
similar encampment was set up a few blocks away.

Downtown
Charlottesville felt like the green zone of a war-torn city
Saturday. More
than a thousand local and state police officers barricaded 10 blocks
of the city’s popular pedestrian district, the Downtown Mall, to
prepare for the one-year anniversary of the white supremacist rally
last year that left dozens injured and one dead. To enter, people had
to submit to bag checks and searches at one of two checkpoints…
Preparations aside, unlike last year, no white supremacist groups had
said they were going to visit the city, and, by week’s end, none
had. Instead, it was a normal day on the mall except for the heavy
security, a military helicopter constantly circling overhead, and
hundreds of police officers milling around.

Make
no mistake, this was a militarized exercise in intimidation, and it
worked only too well.

For
the most part, the residents of this city—once home to Thomas
Jefferson, the nation’s third president, author of the Declaration
of Independence, and champion of the Bill of Rights—welcomed the
city-wide lockdown, the invasion of their privacy, and the
dismantling of every constitutional right intended to serve as a
bulwark against government abuses.

Yet
for those like myself who have studied emerging police states, the
sight of any American city placed under martial law—its citizens
essentially under house
arrest (officials
used the Orwellian phrase “shelter in place” in Boston to
describe the mandatory
lockdown), military-style
helicopters equipped with thermal imaging devices buzzing
the skies, tanks
and armored vehicles on
the streets, and snipers perched
on rooftops, while thousands of
black-garbed police swarmed the streets and
SWAT teams carried out house-to-house searches—leaves us in a
growing state of unease.

Watching
the events of the lockdown unfold, I couldn’t help but think of
Nazi Field Marshal Hermann Goering’s remarks during the Nuremberg
trials. As Goering noted:

It
is always a simple matter to drag people along whether it is a
democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist
dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to
the bidding of the leaders. This is easy. All you have to do is tell
them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of
patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in
every country. (Goering was een vuile fascistische ploert, maar dit is wel een waarheid als een koe!!!)

As
the events in Charlottesville have made clear, it does indeed work
the same in every country.

Whatever
the threat to so-called security—whether it’s civil unrest,
school shootings, or alleged acts of terrorism—government officials
will capitalize on the nation’s heightened emotions, confusion and
fear as a means of extending the reach of the police state.

These
troubling developments are the outward manifestations of an inner,
philosophical shift underway in how the government views not only the
Constitution and the Bill of Rights, but “we the people,” as
well.

What
this reflects is a move away from a government bound by the rule of
law to one that seeks total control through the imposition of its own
self-serving laws on the populace.

Unfortunately,
it doesn’t take much for the American people to march in lockstep
with the government’s dictates, even if it means submitting to
martial law, having their homes searched, and being stripped of one’s
constitutional rights at a moment’s notice.

In
Charlottesville, most of the community fell in line, except
for one gun-toting, disabled, 71-year-old war veteran who
was arrested for purchasing cans of Arizona iced tea, a can of bug
spray and razor blades, all of which were on the City’s list of
temporarily prohibited, potentially “dangerous” items.
Incidentally, the veteran’s guns (not among the list of prohibited
items) caused no alarm.

Talk
about draconian.

This
continual undermining of the rules that protect civil liberties will
inevitably have far-reaching consequences on a populace that not only
remains ignorant about their rights but is inclined to sacrifice
their liberties for phantom promises of safety.

Be
warned: these lockdowns are just a precursor to full-blown martial
law.

The
powers-that-be want us acclimated to the sights and sounds of a
city-wide lockdown with tanks in the streets, military encampments in
cities, Blackhawk helicopters and armed drones patrolling overhead.

They
want us to accept the fact that in the American police state, we are
all potentially guilty, all potential criminals, all suspects waiting
to be accused of a crime.

They
want us to be meek and submissive.

They
want us to report on each other.

They
want us to be grateful to the standing armies for their so-called
protection.

They
want us to self-censor our speech, self-limit our movements, and
police ourselves.

As
Glenn Greenwald notes in The
Intercept:

“Americans
are now so accustomed to seeing police officers decked in camouflage
and Robocop-style costumes, riding in armored vehicles and carrying
automatic weapons first introduced during the U.S. occupation of
Baghdad, that it has become normalized… The dangers of domestic
militarization are both numerous and manifest. To begin with… it
degrades the mentality of police forces in virtually every negative
way and subjects their targeted communities to rampant brutality and
unaccountable abuse… Police
militarization also poses grave and direct dangers to basic political
liberties, including rights of free speech, press and assembly.”
(!!!)

Make
no mistake: these are the hallmarks of a military occupation.

Militarized
police. Riot squads. Camouflage gear. Black uniforms. Armored
vehicles. Mass arrests.

Pepper
spray. Tear gas. Batons. Strip searches. Surveillance cameras. Kevlar vests. Drones. Lethal
weapons. Less-than-lethal
weapons unleashed with deadly force. Rubber
bullets. Water cannons. Stun grenades. Arrests of journalists. Crowd
control tactics. Intimidation
tactics. Brutality.


We
are already under martial law, held at gunpoint by a standing army.

Take
a look at the pictures from Charlottesville, from Baltimore, from
Ferguson and from Boston, and then try to persuade yourself that this
is what freedom in America is supposed to look like.

A
standing army—something that propelled the early colonists into
revolution—strips the American people of any vestige of freedom.

It
was for this reason that those who established America vested control
of the military in a civilian government, with a civilian
commander-in-chief. They did not want a military government, ruled by
force. Rather, they opted for a republic bound by the rule of law:
the U.S. Constitution.

Unfortunately,
with the Constitution under constant attack, the military’s power,
influence and authority have grown dramatically. Even the Posse
Comitatus Act of 1878,
which makes it a crime for the government to use the military to
carry out arrests, searches, seizure of evidence and other activities
normally handled by a civilian police force, was greatly weakened by
both Barack Obama and George W. Bush, who ushered in exemptions
allowing troops to deploy domestically and arrest civilians in
the wake of alleged terrorist acts.

Now
we find ourselves struggling to retain some semblance of freedom in
the face of police and law enforcement agencies that look
and act like the military and
have just as little regard for the Fourth Amendment, laws such as the
NDAA that allow the military to arrest and indefinitely detain
American citizens, and military drills that acclimate the American
people to the sight of armored tanks in the streets, military
encampments in cities, and combat aircraft patrolling overhead.

We’ve
already gone too far down this road.

Add
these lockdowns onto the list of other troubling developments that
have taken place over the past 30 years or more, and the picture
grows even more troubling: the expansion of the military industrial
complex and its influence in Washington DC, the rampant surveillance,
the corporate-funded elections and revolving door between lobbyists
and elected officials, the militarized police, the loss of our
freedoms, the injustice of the courts, the privatized prisons, the
school lockdowns, the roadside strip searches, the military drills on
domestic soil, the fusion centers and the simultaneous fusing of
every branch of law enforcement (federal, state and local), the
stockpiling of ammunition by various government agencies, the active
shooter drills that are indistinguishable from actual crises, the
economy flirting with near collapse, etc.

Suddenly,
the overall picture seems that much more sinister.

The
lesson for the rest of us is this: once a free people allows the
government to make inroads into their freedoms or uses those same
freedoms as bargaining chips for security, it quickly becomes a
slippery slope to outright tyranny. And it doesn’t really matter
whether it’s a Democrat or a Republican at the helm, because the
bureaucratic mindset on both sides of the aisle now seems to embody
the same philosophy of authoritarian government.

Remember,
a police state does not come about overnight.

It
starts small, perhaps with a revenue-generating red light camera at
an intersection.

When
that is implemented without opposition, perhaps next will be
surveillance cameras on public streets. License plate readers on
police cruisers. More police officers on the beat. Free military
equipment from the federal government. Free speech zones and zero
tolerance policies and curfews. SWAT team raids. Drones flying
overhead. City-wide lockdowns.

No
matter how it starts, however, it always ends the same.

Remember,
it’s a slippery slope from a questionable infringement justified in
the name of safety to all-out tyranny.

These
are no longer warning signs of a steadily encroaching police state.

Nam Kurt Cobain zijn eigen leven? Niet volgens een flink aantal mensen

Brasscheck
TV kwam afgelopen maandag met een paar video’s waarin
men stellig beweert dat Kurt Cobain (20 feb. 1967 – 5 april 1994), de zanger van Nirvana, zich niet suïcideerde, maar dat
hij werd vermoord……..

Uiteraard
noemt men dergelijke verhalen complottheorieën (of samenzwerings-), immers welke staat zou
bekende voor haar lastige muzikanten/zangers (m en v) en andere bekende figuren vermoorden?
Precies, heel wat staten of landen zouden precies dat doen als het
even zou kunnen… Zoals je weet was en is een mensenleven in de VS niet veel waard, zeker als je gekleurd bent, tenzij je tegelijkertijd welgesteld en politiek braaf bent natuurlijk…..

Vergeet
niet dat bijvoorbeeld ondanks de enorme repressie in de VS van de
60er en begin 70er jaren, de jongeren, veelal gesteund door vooraanstaande
popmuzikanten/zangers, journalisten en schrijvers toch heel wat voor elkaar wisten te krijgen, niet alleen werd toen de aanzet gegeven tot de vrouwenemancipatie, maar ook door het voeden van de uiteindelijk enorme weerzin tegen de meer dan waanzinnige en uiterst wrede oorlog die de VS
in Vietnam uitvocht (en daar zelfs verslagen werd, terwijl de VS tijdens die oorlog ook nog eens dubbel-illegaal honderdduizenden doden maakte in buurlanden als Laos en Cambodja…..) Ook Martin Luther King werd door de staat vermoord*, daar hij destijds een gevaar voor de blanke status quo was en ook hij zich uitsprak tegen de Vietnam oorlog en het inhumane kapitalisme…… 

Het
Vietnam debacle werd door de conservatieve fascisten in de VS
verweten aan de (echte) hippies en alles wat daar mee te maken heeft en al
helemaal de bands, die in hun muziek en in interviews lieten weten
tegen het VS oorlogsgeweld te zijn dat duizenden kilometers ver werd uitgeoefend…..
Oorlogsgeweld? Zeg maar gerust extreem gewelddadige en grootschalige terreur!

Niet
vreemd dus dat diezelfde overheid mensen liet vermoorden die zich
tegen hen hebben verzet, een overheid die jaarlijks alleen in
de VS al verantwoordelijk is voor duizenden doden, mensen die zonder
iets te hebben misdaan (of men moet een kleur op het gezicht als misdaad zien…), of als verdachte werden vermoord door
diezelfde overheid…… Vergeet niet dat oorlogvoeren een uiterst
lucratieve bezigheid is en de lobby van het militair-industrieel
complex een enorme invloed heeft op de politiek in Washington…… Overigens heeft ook dat
complex geen probleem met het uit de weg laten ruimen van
figuren die de winsten kunnen drukken…….

Zo
bezien zou een moord op Kurt Cobain totaal niet vreemd zijn.

Martin Luther King: de moord van 50 jaar geleden door de VS overheid uiterst beperkt herdacht

Het zal je niet ontgaan zijn, de moord op Martin Luther King, vandaag precies 50 jaar geleden. Op BBC en WDR lange bijdragen over het leven van King, waarbij de moord op hem alleen wordt genoemd, maar waar men niet ingaat op de vraag wie er achter de moord zat…….

Intussen is het al lang duidelijk dat meerdere geheime diensten uit de VS verantwoordelijk zijn voor de moord op King. Sterker nog: in 1999 werd in een rechtszaak van de familie King tegen de landelijke overheid*, deze overheid (meerdere geheime diensten als de FBI en de CIA) schuldig verklaard voor de moord op King en niet de veroordeelde James Earl Ray, die niets maar dan ook helemaal niets met de moord te maken had….

‘Toevallig’ waren er op de dag van de moord 8 scherpschutters van het 20ste Special Forces Team in de directe nabijheid van het motel waar King verbleef en waar hij van grote afstand werd neergeschoten……

Niet toevallig is het verzwijgen door de reguliere media van het hiervoor genoemde feit, al helemaal niet wat betreft deze media in de VS….. Nee veronderstel dat de VS nogmaals door de mand valt als terreurstaat…… Hetzelfde geldt dus ook voor het overgrote deel van de reguliere westerse media buiten de VS….. Tja, je gaat natuurlijk niet de ‘geweldige’ VS, ‘de politieagent van de wereld’, ons ‘grote voorbeeld’ beschuldigen van massamoord, verkrachting, marteling, coups plegen, geheime militaire acties zoals de moord op King en Kennedy, of erger nog het voluit voeren van illegale oorlogen….

Na de moord op King hebben de CIA en de DEA ervoor gezorgd dat de zwarte woonwijken werden overspoeld met heroïne, dit om verder verzet van de gekleurde bevolking te smoren, een doel dat voor een groot deel is behaald……

Overigens spreekt men alleen over King in samenhang met de strijd voor gelijke rechten in de VS, geen woord over zijn denkbeelden bijvoorbeeld over het inhumane kapitalisme…… (zie daarvoor de berichten onder de tweede en derde link hieronder) Alleen zijn verzet tegen de Vietnam Oorlog wordt ‘in de kantlijn’ nog even genoemd…..
