VS steun voor 20 dictators

beetje verwarrend het uittreksel van de World Beyond War(WBW) organisatie, de kop waarin wordt gesteld dat de VS 50
onderdrukkende regimes steunt, terwijl het PDF waaruit dit schrijven
komt, spreekt van 20 dictators die door de VS worden gesteund en
waarin zo te zien ook Syrië behoort, terwijl de VS daar de
terreurgroepen steunt en niet de democratisch gekozen regering
Assad……* 

Het hieronder opgenomen onderdeel van een langer PDF maakt onderscheidt tussen dictaturen en geeft daar 3 definities voor, zoals een dictatuur onder één persoon en regeringen die zware druk uitoefenen op het volk. Weet niet of dit een verstandig onderscheid is, immers het gaat erom hoe een volk haar leiders ervaart, of dit nu in een democratie is, of een dictatuur, dan wel een politiestaat (dat zijn overigens niet de definities zoals het PDF aangeeft op basis van vaststellingen door het ‘Freedom House’). Zo vind ik dat Rusland geen dictatuur genoemd kan worden, immers er mag nog
steeds gekozen worden. Vergeet daarbij niet dat veel van de oppositiegroepen in Rusland banden hebben met de georganiseerde misdaad…… 

Je zou zelfs kunnen pleiten voor een figuur
als Putin, daar die de wereld al een paar keer heeft behoed voor een
wereldoorlog, immers als de Trump kliek in het Kremlin had
gezeten, was Rusland al lang een oorlog tegen de VS begonnen vanwege verregaand geweld van de VS tegen militaire doelen van Rusland bijvoorbeeld in Syrië……. Om nog maar te zwijgen over het buitenlandbeleid van de VS in Europa, waar het als opperbevelhebber van NAVO troepen de ene na de andere militaire oefening houdt langs de westgrens van Rusland. Bedenk maar eens wat de VS zou doen als Russische troepen aan de andere kant van de VS grenzen met Mexico of Canada de ene militaire oefening na de ander zou houden……. Gezien de VS agressie tegen Rusland kan je zelfs stellen dat de VS met haar agressie Putin in het zadel houdt (immers agressie tegen de Russische regering is in feite agressie tegen het Russische volk….).

Daarover gesproken: veel commentaar van de VS op Cuba, sinds de rebellen van Castro het misdadigersnest van de VS in Cuba omwentelde en eindelijk voor het volk werd gezorgd, i.p.v. de maffia en de welghestelden uit de VS. Waarbij Castro snel zaken als analfabetisme met succes wist te bestrijden en de gezonheidzorg, scholing en huisvesting bijna gratis maakte…. De VS heeft daarna van meet af aan sancties opgelegd aan dit land, als de VS dat niet had gedaan zou het goed mogelijk geweest zijn dat Cuba eerder een vrij en gelukkig land was geworden, echter dat wilde de VS koste wat kost voorkomen…… Voorlopig is het zo dat verreweg de meerderheid van het Cubaanse volk achter ‘de dictatuur’ van Castro stond en volgens zeggen is dat nog steeds zo…..

Oké,
het is bepaald geen geheim dat de VS dictators steunt, ik schat dat
een regelmatige lezer of luisteraar naar nieuws wel een paar van deze
dictators op kan noemen, neem Saoedi-Arabië, maar toch mooi dat je kan
zien met welke schoften de VS goede banden onderhoudt…… Zoals gezegd: het buitenlandbeleid van de VS is er op zeker verantwoordelijk voor dat de dictatuur in een aantal landen in het zadel blijft, waar andere dictaturen die niet in het VS gareel lopen, juist door de agressie van de VS in het zadel blijven, neem Noord-Korea en Iran…..

En dan
durft men in de VS te zeggen dat de VS democratie brengt naar de
landen tegen wie het een illegale oorlog is begonnen…… Terwijl de VS ook
nog eens opstanden organiseert om een democratisch gekozen president
af te kunnen zetten, zoals in Honduras, Oekraïne, Syrië* en als
laatste (althans zoals nu bekend): Bolivia…….

Trouwens
wat betreft de VS zelf, kan je ook al spreken van een politiestaat,
een andere vorm van dictatuur…… De VS waar 2 partijen de dienst
uitmaken en men iedereen die een beetje sociaal ‘gezicht’ heeft op
zeker afserveert, zie nu weer Bernie Sanders…. In het
westen jubelde men na de tweede overwinning van bewezen misdadiger en
oorlogsmisdadiger Joe Biden, terwijl de hele goegemeente wat betreft
de reguliere westerse media (en politiek) in het koor van de VS wolven mee huilden en
Sanders als onverantwoordelijk en socialist bestempelden, ik las zelfs een paar keer
dat hij voor communist werd versleten en dat staat in de VS gelijk aan vloeken in de kerk….. 

Sanders zou bijvoorbeeld
veel te veel geld uittrekken voor scholing, studie en medische hulp (ja ook in de Nederlandse media durfde men dit te schrijven),
terwijl de psychopathische gek Trump intussen bijna 750 miljard
dollar per jaar uitgeeft aan oorlogsvoering……. Waar diezelfde
media met de VS mee klagen dat we te weinig uitgeven aan defensie (in
NAVO verband), terwijl de VS zo’n honderdvijftig miljard uitgeeft aan alleen al meer
dan 800 militaire bases over de wereld….. Waar dit bedrag ver wordt overtroffen door alle
illegale oorlogen die het is aangegaan: oorlogen die alleen deze
eeuw al dik meer dan 2,5 miljoen mensen het leven heeft gekost, ofwel
enorme massamoorden begaan onder bevel van de VS…**

Lullig
dat je niet het hele PDF kan lezen, daar moet je voor betalen,
terwijl dit wel degelijk een zeer ernstige zaak is, die niet genoeg
aan de mens kan worden gebracht: de hoogste tijd dat de hele wereld
de VS ziet zoals het is: verreweg de grootste terreurentiteit op
aarde!!!

Oppressive Governments Supported by the U.S. Government

A dictator is a single individual
who possesses such extreme power over a government that some people
refer to it as “absolute power.” There are degrees of
dictatorship, or — if you prefer — individuals who are partially
dictators or somewhat dictatorial. Oppressive governments that
restrict liberties, deny participation, and abuse human rights
overlap considerably, but not entirely, with dictatorships. Because
there are more studies and rankings of oppressive governments than of
dictatorships, and because the problem is the oppression, not who
does it, I’m going to look for a moment at some lists of oppressive
governments, before turning to the subject of the dictators who run
many of them.

In 2017, Rich Whitney wrote an
article for Truthout.org called “U.S.
Provides Military Assistance to 73 Percent of World’s
Dictatorships.”

Whitney was using the word
“dictatorships” as a rough approximation of “oppressive
governments.” His source for a list of the oppressive governments
of the world was Freedom House. He intentionally chose this
U.S.-based and U.S.-government-funded organization despite the clear
U.S.-government bias in some of its decisions. Freedom House has been
widely
criticized, not merely for being funded by one government (plus
funding from a few allied governments) while producing rankings of
governments, and not merely for slanting its criticism against
U.S.-designated enemies and in favor of U.S.-designated allies, but
also for taking U.S. funding to engage in secretive activities in
Iran and to support a chosen candidate in Ukraine. These are all good
reasons to look at Freedom House’s list of the nations that it
labels “not free.” This is as nearly as possible the United
States government’s own view of other countries, even as it
includes very restrained criticism of the United States’ own
domestic policies. A list from Freedom House can be augmented, and is
below, with the U.S. State Department’s own description
of each country’s human rights abuses.

Freedom House ranks
nations as “free,” “partly free,” and “not free.”
These rankings are supposedly based on civil liberties and political
rights within a country, with apparently no consideration of a
country’s impact on the rest of the world. That is to say, a
country could be spreading freedom across the globe and score very
low, or be spreading oppression around the globe and score very high,
based purely on its domestic policies.

Freedom House does not, however,
limit itself to dictatorships. Some of the factors
it considers involve the legitimacy and power of a national
leader, but if a government fully controlled by a large body severely
oppresses the public, then that government ought to be labeled “Not
Free” by Freedom House despite not being a dictatorship in the
sense of being dominated by a single person.

Freedom House deems the following
50 countries (taking from Freedom House’s list only countries and
not territories) to be “not free”: Afghanistan, Algeria, Angola,
Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belarus, Brunei, Burundi, Cambodia, Cameroon,
Central African Republic, Chad, China, Democratic Republic of Congo
(Kinshasa), Republic of Congo (Brazzaville), Cuba, Djibouti, Egypt,
Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Gabon, Iran, Iraq,
Kazakhstan, Laos, Libya, Mauritania, Nicaragua, North Korea, Oman,
Qatar, Russia, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan,
Syria, Tajikistan, Thailand, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uganda, United
Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, Venezuela, Vietnam, Yemen.

The U.S. government allows,
arranges for, or in some cases even provides the funding for, U.S.
weapons sales to 41 of these countries. That’s 82 percent. To
produce this figure, I have looked at U.S. weapons sales between 2010
and 2019 as documented by either the Stockholm
International Peace Research Institute Arms Trade Database, or by
the U.S. military in a document titled “Foreign
Military Sales, Foreign Military Construction Sales And Other
Security Cooperation Historical Facts: As of September 30, 2017.”
Here are the 41: Afghanistan, Algeria, Angola, Azerbaijan, Bahrain,
Brunei, Burundi, Cambodia, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad,
China, Democratic Republic of Congo (Kinshasa), Republic of Congo
(Brazzaville), Djibouti, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Eswatini
(formerly Swaziland), Ethiopia, Gabon, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Libya,
Mauritania, Nicaragua, Oman, Qatar, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, Sudan,
Syria, Tajikistan, Thailand, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uganda, United
Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Yemen.

Remember, this is a list of nations
that an organization funded by the U.S. government designates “not
free” but to which the United States is shipping deadly weapons.
And this is 82% of the “not free” nations, which hardly looks
like a case of a few “bad apples.” On the contrary, it almost
looks like a consistent policy. One is more inclined to look for an
explanation of why the 82% is not 100% than why it’s not 0%. In
fact, of the nine “not free” nations to which the United States
is not shipping weapons, the majority of them (Cuba, Iran, North
Korea, Russia, and Venezuela) are nations commonly designated as
enemies by the U.S. government, offered as justifications for budget
increases by the Pentagon, demonized by the U.S. media, and targeted
with significant sanctions (and in some cases attempted coups and
threats of war). These countries’ status as designated enemies
also, in the view of some critics of Freedom House, has a lot to do
with how some of them got onto the list of “not free” rather than
“partly free” nations.

Beyond selling and giving weapons
to oppressive governments, the U.S. government also shares with them
advanced weapons technology. This includes such extreme examples as
the CIA giving nuclear bomb plans to Iran,
the Trump Administration seeking to share nuclear technology with
Saudi
Arabia, and the U.S. military basing nuclear weapons in Turkey
even as Turkey fights against U.S.-backed fighters in Syria and
threatens to close NATO bases, as well as spreading drone
technology around the world.

Now, let’s take the list of 50
oppressive governments and check which ones the United States
government provides military training to. There are varying levels of
such support, ranging from teaching a single course for four students
to providing numerous courses for thousands of trainees. The United
States provides military training of one sort or another to 44 out of
50, or 88 percent. I base this on finding such trainings listed in
either 2017 or 2018 in one or both of these sources: The U.S. State
Department’s Foreign
Military Training Report: Fiscal Years 2017 and 2018: Joint Report to
Congress Volumes I and II,
and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)’s
Congressional
Budget Justification: FOREIGN ASSISTANCE: SUPPLEMENTARY TABLES:
Fiscal Year 2018. 

Here are the 44: Afghanistan, Algeria, Angola,
Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belarus, Brunei, Burundi, Cambodia, Cameroon,
Central African Republic, Chad, China, Democratic Republic of Congo
(Kinshasa), Republic of Congo (Brazzaville), Djibouti, Egypt,
Eswatini (formerly Swaziland), Ethiopia, Gabon, Iran, Iraq,
Kazakhstan, Laos, Libya, Mauritania, Nicaragua, Oman, Qatar, Russia,
Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, South Sudan, Tajikistan, Thailand,
Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uganda, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan,
Venezuela, Vietnam, Yemen.

Once again, this list does not seem
like a few statistical oddities, but more like an established policy.
The handful of exceptions again include Cuba and North Korea for
obvious reasons. The reason they include Syria in this case and not
in the case of weapons sales is because of the dates I restricted
this search to. The United States went from arming and working with
the Syrian government to trying to overthrow it (by arming and
working with rebels in Syria rather than with the government).

I suspect that many in the United
States did not know that in 2019, these many years after September
11, 2001, the U.S. military was training Saudi fighters to fly
airplanes in Florida until one of them made the news
by shooting up a classroom.

In addition, the history of
U.S.-provided military training to foreign soldiers, through
facilities like the School of the
Americas (renamed Western Hemisphere Institute for Security
Cooperation) provides an established pattern of not just supporting
oppressive governments, but of helping to bring them into being
through coups.

Now let’s take one more run
through the list of 50 oppressive governments, because in addition to
selling (or giving) them weapons and training them, the U.S.
government also provides funding directly to foreign militaries. Of
the 50 oppressive governments, as listed by Freedom House, 32 receive
“foreign military financing” or other funding for military
activities from the U.S. government, with — it’s extremely safe
to say — less outrage in the U.S. media or from U.S. tax payers
than we hear over providing food to people in the United States who
are hungry. I base this list on the United States Agency for
International Development (USAID)’s Congressional
Budget Justification: FOREIGN ASSISTANCE: SUMMARY TABLES: Fiscal Year
2017, and Congressional
Budget Justification: FOREIGN ASSISTANCE: SUPPLEMENTARY TABLES:
Fiscal Year 2018. Here are the 33: Afghanistan, Algeria, Angola,
Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belarus, Cambodia, Central African Republic,
China, Democratic Republic of Congo (Kinshasa), Djibouti, Egypt,
Eswatini (formerly Swaziland), Ethiopia, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Laos,
Libya, Mauritania, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan,
Syria, Tajikistan, Thailand, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uganda,
Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Yemen.

Out of 50 oppressive governments,
the United States militarily supports in at least one of the three
ways discussed above 48 of them or 96 percent, all but the tiny
designated enemies of Cuba and North Korea. With some of them, the
U.S. military goes further than we have yet discussed in its
relations and support for these oppressive regimes. In these
countries, the United States bases
a significant number of its own troops (i.e. over 100): Afghanistan,
Bahrain, Cuba, Egypt, Iraq, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria*, Thailand,
Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates. Technically Cuba is in this
list, but it is a different case from the others. The United States
keeps troops in Cuba in defiance of Cuban opposition and decidedly
not in support of the Cuban government. Of course, Iraq has now asked
the U.S. troops to leave, putting it in a position closer to Cuba’s.

In some cases, the military
engagement goes further. The U.S. military is fighting a war in
partnership with Saudi Arabia against the people of Yemen, and
fighting wars in Iraq and Afghanistan in support of oppressive
governments (as described by Freedom House and by the U.S. State
Department) that were created by U.S.-led wars. Governments created
by foreign occupations are oppressive and corrupt and tend to have an
interest in keeping wars going in order to keep arms and dollars and
troops flowing their way from the United States. Yet, the Iraqi
government has asked the U.S. military to get out, and talks of a
possible peace agreement in Afghanistan continue to percolate.

At the same time, the United States
enacts Trump’s Muslim ban, restricting
travel from numerous nations that the United States arms,
including Eritrea, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen. One
wouldn’t want any dangerously armed people traveling.

Another source for a list of
dictatorships is the CIA-funded Political
Instability Task Force (PITF). As of 2018, this group identified 21
nations as autocracies, 23 as closed anocracies (anocracies being
mixtures of autocracy and democracy), and the rest as open
anocracies, democracies, or full democracies. The 21 autocracies are:
Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belarus, China, Equatorial Guinea,
Eritrea, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Laos, North Korea, Oman, Qatar,
Saudi Arabia, Eswatini (formerly Swaziland), Syria, Turkmenistan,
United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, Vietnam. This adds Bangladesh and
Kuwait to the list of nations we are looking at. The U.S. military
supports those two and all of the others listed here, except North
Korea.

So we’re looking at a list of 50
oppressive governments. Is it the right list? Should some nations be
removed and others added? And which are dictatorships, and who are
the dictators?

Ten tijde van de door de VS georganiseerde opstand in 2011 was Assad
nog niet democratisch gekozen, dat gebeurde in 2014 in door
internationale waarnemers als eerlijk en goed verlopen beoordeelde verkiezingen,
waarbij Assad met overweldigende meerderheid werd gekozen….. Zoals aangegeven in het artikel hierboven, de VS heeft eerder de Syrische staat gesteund echter dat was ver voor 2006 toen de VS begon met het plannen van een opstand in Syrië, die moest leiden tot een staatsgreep tegen Assad, een plan dat zoals we weten is mislukt…. Als reactie op die mislukking hebben de VS en Egypte (met hulp van Saoedi-Arabië) een groot aantal jihadstrijders van o.a. IS (ISIS) en Al Qaida van Libië naar Irak vervoert en hen daar met oorlogstuig over de grens met Syrië begeleid, zodat zij tegen de regering Assad konden vechten, de rest is geschiedenis, een geschiedenis die volgepropt zit met barbaarsheden tegen de bevolkingen van landen in het Midden-Oosten, massamoorden, enorme hoeveelheden vluchtelingen die geen kant op kunnen en terreuraanslagen op Europese straten…….(nogmaals als gevolg van grootschalige westerse terreur in landen waar dat westen niets, maar dan ook helemaal niets heeft te zoeken!!)

** Illegale oorlogen waar ook Nederland
aan mee heeft gedaan en dat ten koste van ons belastinggeld, waardoor
ook wij terreur op de straten hebben gekweekt en mogelijk nog meer
terreur kunnen verwachten…. Om nog maar te zwijgen over het feit dat die Nederlandse steun mede
verantwoordelijkheid is voor enorme groep arme donders die deze
illegale oorlogen zijn ontvlucht en die niet worden opgenomen door de landen die in hun moederland oorlogen zijn begonnen, dan wel deze oorlogen steunen (de VS met hulp van andere NAVO-lidstaten)…….

Rusland: Helga Salemon neemt Putin de maat: hij heeft Rusland gedestabiliseerd

Vanmorgen op Radio1 in MAX Nieuwsweekend oorlogshitser en grootlobbyist voor VS/NAVO terreur, Helga Salemon, die met haar hysterische stemgeluid weer eens Rusland en dan m.n. Putin demoniseerde…… Volgens Salemon heeft Putin Rusland gedestabiliseerd en is de wijziging in de grondwet, waardoor Putin kan blijven regeren ingegeven door angst om vervolgd te worden door het Internationaal Strafhof (ICC) voor MH17 en voor moordaanslagen op zijn leven…..

Toen Putin voor het eerst aantrad als president was Rusland bijna failliet door het desastreuze beleid van zijn voorganger, de zwaar corrupte (in belang van het westen en oligarchen) alcoholische topgraaier Jeltsin….. Putin heeft Rusland uit dit bijna faillissement getrokken en Rusland weer op de wereldkaart gezet! Intussen zorgen de illegale sancties tegen Rusland ervoor dat Rusland toch wat economische klappen heeft opgelopen, echter in veel mindere mate dan men had berekend en dat is m.n. te danken aan het beleid van de regering Putin……

Voorts heeft Putin laten zien een verstandig president te zijn, ga maar na, als Trump op zijn plaats had gezeten, was het al lang oorlog geweest, ofwel WOIII,….. Zie hoe de VS tekeer is gegaan tegen Rusland in Syrië, waar niet de VS maar Rusland volkomen legaal opereerde en opereert, immers de regering Assad heeft de hulp ingeroepen van Rusland… Hulp tegen de buitenlandse terreur in het land, waar de VS als mededader moet worden gezien*, zeker daar de VS de zogenaamde opstand in Syrië op poten heeft gezet, alleen met de bedoeling Assad tot aftreden te dwingen…..**

Daarnaast heeft de Russische regering onder Putin te maken met de ene (grote) NAVO oefening langs haar westelijke grenzen, bijna het jaarrond……. Hé Salemon, dat moet Rusland eens probveren langs de grens met Mexico, in het geval dat daar een regering zou zitten met net zulke goede banden als die tussen Rusland en Syrië!! (onmogelijk daar de VS binnen de kortste keren zou zorgen dat Mexico weer in het VS-gareel loopt….)

Zelfs het Coronavirus werd door Salemon gebruikt met haar demonisering van Rusland. Volgens Salemon zou Rusland maar 45 geïnfecteerden hebben en ‘dat kan natuurlijk niet, met een zo grote grens langs China’ (alsof de Chinese Corona patiënten massaal langs die grens staan te hoesten in de richting van Rusland (mits de wind uit de juiste richting komt….. ha! ha! ha! ha!) En Salemon wat vind je dan van de omgang met het virus door de VS: veel te weinig testsetjes om te controleren of iemand het Coronavirus heeft opgelopen, ofwel daar moeten inderdaad veel meer Coronapatiënten zijn, maar ja Salemon lobbyt ook voor de grootschalige VS terreur, dus daar zal ze niets over zeggen, zoals ze ook niets zal zeggen over het bevoorraden door de VS van terreurgroepen in Syrië …….)

Salemon wou voorts nog kwijt dat het Russische volk wordt gehersenspoeld door Putin….. Zeg Salemon, kijk naar wat jij aan onzin uitkraamt en dat keer op keer, dat is zeker een vorm van hersenspoelen, vooral daar men jou als ‘Rusland deskundige’ presenteert op de landelijke prutzender Radio1…… Overigens staan de westerse reguliere media en zelfs het zogenaamde onafhankelijke BBC (en de NOS) vol van anti-propaganda tegen Rusland, China en Iran, propaganda zoals gewoonlijk op basis van leugens, verdraaiingen, het brengen van fake news (nepnieuws) en andere desinformatie >> alsof dat geen vorm van hersenspoeling is….. (en tot die media behoor jij Salemon!)

De rechtse sufkont Gijs Groenteman die ongelofelijk genoeg weer op Radio1 mag presenteren, zei tot slot na de anti-Russische propaganda tegen Salemon: “Nou hartstikke goed…”

*  Neem de bombardementen op Raqqa, waar de VN de VS dringend verzocht te
stoppen met de bombardementen om de burgerbevolking te beschermen, een oproep die werd genegeerd door de grootste terreurentiteit op aarde, de VS…. Hetzelfde gebeurde overigens eerder in het Iraakse Mosul, ook toen weigerde de VS te stoppen met de bombardementen op burgerdoelen……

** Een truc waarmee de VS intussen ruime ervaring heeft opgedaan, ook al is dat niet altijd met succes, zie Syrië en Venezuela. Vergeet daarbij niet dat het Syrische volk in 2014 Assad met een overweldigende meerderheid heeft gekozen in door internationale waarnemers goedgekeurde verkiezingen! (De VS begon al in 2006 met de voorbereidingen van acties tegen Assad……) Vluchtelingen proberen terug te keren naar Syrië als zij weten dat hun stad of dorp is bevrijd van de terreurgroepen door het Syrische leger in samenwerking met Rusland en Iran…… De bevolking die meerdere religies aanhangt, stond bovendien langs de straatkant te juichen als het Syrische leger hun woonplaats had bevrijd en dat hand in hand met die buren!! Verkiezingen in de VS worden weer gemanipuleerd door de Israëlische premier Netanyahu

Het meest ongelofelijke aan de flop
Russiagate was wel dat men echte manipulatie van de
presidentsverkiezingen in de VS buiten schot hield. Zo manipuleerde
de zwaar corrupte Palestijnenslachter Netanyahu de
presidentsverkiezingen van 2016 door een smerig praatje in het
congres, waarbij hij waarschuwde zeker niet op Sanders te stemmen,
zonder dat daar ook maar een woord aan vuil werd gemaakt door de
reguliere media die wel moord en brand schreeuwden over Russiagate
(en dat was en is een wel heel doorzichtige en belachelijke
leugen….)….. Dit nog buiten alle andere manipulaties van die
verkiezingen bijvoorbeeld door diezelfde reguliere media, de
plutocraten en de grote bedrijven…..

Nu
blijkt dat Netanyahu al weer bezig is met de manipulatie van de
presidentsverkiezingen in 2020 en weer demoniseert hij (de Joodse)
presidentskandidaat Bernie Sanders, waar deze al een paar jaar lang
in de reguliere VS media is afgemaakt als socialist, communist en
agent van Moskou…… Dit keer is de reden voor Netanyahu de
terechte kritiek van Sanders op AIPAC, het American Israel Public
Affairs Committee, een VS lobbyorganisatie voor de (nu officieel
fascistische (nu officieel) en apartheidsstaat Israël.

Al zou
Moskou een miljoen dollar in de presidentsverkiezingen steken, dan
nog zou dit geen effect hebben, immers met de werkelijke geldstromen
kan zo’n bedrag het verschil niet maken, laat staan de 100.000 dollar
die Rusland in 2016 zou hebben uitgegeven aan reclames op Facebook
(‘voor borsjt en wodka..’)…..

De
scherpslijpers van 2016 zijn zo zot dat ze stellen dat Moskou Trump
nog 4 jaar als president van de VS zou willen hebben, terwijl
diezelfde Trump o.a. meermaals sancties heeft getroffen tegen Rusland
en Trump bijna het jaarrond militaire oefeningen laat houden langs de
Russische grens (zou je moeten proberen langs de VS grens…)…. Dan
is er nog het verbieden door Trump van de verdere aanleg van
gaspijpleiding Nord Stream 2 (NS2), tussen Rusland en Duitsland en
waar hij de bedrijven die daaraan meewerken heeft gewaarschuwd zich
terug te trekken uit dat project….. Het laatste daar Trump het
zwaar gesubsidieerde schaliegas wil slijten aan de EU, verder heeft
Trump Rusland meermaals geschoffeerd i.z. Syrië…. En dat zijn nog
maar een paar bewijzen dat Rusland Trump kan missen als een boer met
kiespijn…..

De
geheime diensten in de VS hebben onlangs alweer gesteld dat Rusland
bezig is met het manipuleren van de voorverkiezingen en de
uiteindelijke presidentsverkiezingen a.s. november. Uiteraard doen ze
dit, daar ze op zeker nog meer budget en bevoegdheden zullen krijgen
om deze ‘manipulatie’ tegen te gaan……

For the last four years, there’s been a national debate regarding
the scope of Russian interference in the 2016 election. The issue
might end up dominating discourse in 2020 as well. Last month,
intelligence officials warned House members that Russia is allegedly
meddling in an effort to get Trump reelected.

Concerns about Putin’s
impact on U.S. elections has generated countless articles and
wall-to-wall cable news coverage. It also fueled an impeachment
investigation. However, blatant election interference from other
countries is certainly not treated in the same way.

This contradiction was
on display over the weekend, when Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin
Netanyahu addressed AIPAC’s annual policy conference via video
feed. Netanyahu repeatedly referenced Democratic frontrunner Bernie
Sanders, who skipped the conference and claimed that the lobbying
group promotes bigotry. At the most recent Democratic debate, Sanders
called Netanyahu a “reactionary racist.”

“We were all
reminded a few days ago that there are forces who seek to break our
alliance,” said Netanyahu, “Last year, those who came to AIPAC
were accused of dual loyalty. This year, AIPAC was accused of
providing a platform for bigotry. These libelous charges are
outrageous.”

Netanyahu wasn’t the
only Israeli official to attack Sanders at the conference. Israel’s
ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danon said,
“We don’t want Sanders at AIPAC. We don’t want him in Israel.
Anyone who calls our prime minister a ‘racist’ is either a liar,
an ignorant fool or both.”

Responding to Danon’s
comments on Face
the Nation, Sanders
said he was calling for a more evenhanded foreign policy. “I am not
anti-Israel…but what we need in this country is a foreign policy
that not only protects Israel but deals with the suffering of the
Palestinian people as well,” said Sanders.

politics. In 2015, the Prime Minister infamously visited Washington
so that he could argue against former president Barack Obama’s Iran
Deal in congress. Obama was never consulted about the visit and the
administration called it a “departure
from protocol.”

The New
York Times en de Washington Post (WaPo) brachten volgens Caitlin
Johnstone (op een geweldige en uiterst sarcastische manier) het
schokkende nieuws dat Moskou bezig is om Trump de zege te bezorgen in
de race voor het presidentschap……. Verder zou Moskou ervoor zorgen dat Bernie Sanders de winnaar zal
zijn van de Democratische voorverkiezingen……. Het artikel dat Johnstone
zou publiceren, ‘werd vervangen door een rapport van de National
News Conglomerate (NNC)’, waarin e.e.a. ‘wordt uitgelegd’.

Alleen
Pete Buttigieg zou gevrijwaard zijn van Russische ‘spinage-banden’.
Een anonieme CIA woordvoerder durft zelfs te beweren dat Buttigieg de
enige kandidaat is die niet de belangen van de VS in handen van Putin
zal geven……. De CIA, je weet wel, de terreurorganisatie die naast
het faciliteren van moorden door geheime eenheden in het buitenland, de hand niet omdraait om middels hele
bergen gefabriceerde ‘bewijzen’ (leugens
en achterklap) de VS klaar te maken voor een zoveelste illegale
oorlog tegen een land dat niet buigt als de VS met de vingers
klikt…….

Het
meest zieke is wel dat de CIA bron de polarisatie in de VS wijt aan
die kandidaten en daar deze bron deze kandidaten al had aangewezen
als agenten van Moskou, wordt Moskou, of beter gezegd Putin aangewezen als de persoon die de
polarisatie in de VS heeft veroorzaakt….. Niet alleen dat, de
bedoelde kandidaten zouden het bestaande gezag willen vernietigen en
een andere buitenlandpolitiek voorstaan…… Daarom zegt de CIA bron
dat de VS niet hoeft te kiezen tussen revolutie of de bestaande
status quo, het VS volk moet samenkomen en oplossingen zoeken voor
zowel de arbeiders als voor de miljonairs….. ha! ha! ha! ha! Het
probleem in de VS is juist dat men alles doet voor de miljonairs en
niets voor de arbeiders, sterker nog er zijn nu al meer dan 15 jaar
mensen in de VS die niet rond kunnen komen van 1 baan (of zelfs 2 baantjes) en daarom nog een baan zoeken of deze al vervullen……

De VS
geeft kapitalen uit aan oorlogsvoering, maar bezuinigt op sociale
programma’s, de Trump administratie wil zelfs de voedselbonnen voor
de allerarmsten afschaffen…….

Waarom
zou Rusland Trump nogmaals op ‘de troon’ willen zetten als je ziet,
dat Trump sancties heeft ingesteld tegen Rusland (waardoor bedrijven
die handel drijven met Rusland onderwerp van strafrechtelijk
onderzoek worden in de VS en niet meer mogen leveren aan bedrijven in
de VS…)…. Verder heeft Trump bedrijven gedreigd die meewerken aan
Nord Stream 2 (NS2), de gaspijpleiding die vanuit Rusland, via de Oostzee
naar Duitsland loopt….. Of wat dacht je van het raketschild dat
Trump in Polen en Roemenië heeft gebouwd, dit bijna op de drempel van de
Russische grens, een schild dat zogenaamd is bedoeld
tegen Iraanse raketten, maar waarvan de raketten in een mum van tijd kunnen worden
omgebouwd tot raketten met meerdere kernkoppen en daarmee
aanvalsraketten zijn geworden……

Waarmee
juist de raketten van het hiervoor aangehaalde schild onder het INF-verdrag
vallen, gezien de relatief korte afstand die ze moeten afleggen om bijvoorbeeld de
grote Russische steden Sint-Petersburg (het voormalige Leningrad) en
Moskou te treffen…… Terwijl de VS Rusland beschuldigt van het
schenden van dit INF-verdrag met een nieuw type raket, waarop Rusland
de VS meermaals heeft uitgenodigd deze raketten te komen inspecteren,
zodat men kan zien dat Rusland het verdrag niet schendt, echter de VS
weigerde op deze uitnodigingen in te gaan……..

Het hele
Russiagate verhaal blijkt een belachelijke beschuldiging te zijn geweest,
waar de reguliere westerse media en politici blijven volhouden dat
Rusland de presidentsverkiezingen van 2016 heeft gemanipuleerd……. In
werkelijkheid wordt e.e.a. juist gedaan door diezelfde media, die bijvoorbeeld een
kandidaat als Sanders afschilderen als een onverantwoorde socialist
(dat laatste is in de VS een scheldwoord van formaat)….. Daarnaast is
er de overduidelijke inmenging van grote bedrijven en plutocraten die
invloed kopen en sturen met enorme giften aan de kandidaat van hun
keuze…… Ook kan je wat betreft de presidentsverkiezingen Israël
nog aanwijzen als groot manipulator van die verkiezingen, immers
Netanyahu heeft in 2016 via de senaat ook het volk van de VS
aangesproken en hen geadviseerd om op Trump te stemmen…… Een zaak
die niet eens wrevel wekte bij die westerse media……

Lees het
sarcastische en humoristische artikel van Caitlin Johnstone en geeft
het door, immers ook onze ‘massamedia’ scharen zich achter die van de
VS en roepen zoals gezegd, nog steeds dat Rusland de

Following shocking reports from TheNew York Times
and The
Washington Post that
Moscow is simultaneously working to both re-elect Donald Trump and
ensure the nomination of Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders in the
Democratic presidential primary race, NNC has obtained further
information confirming that nearly all candidates currently running
for president are in fact covert agents of the Russian government.

According to sources familiar with
the matter, the lone candidate not literally conducting espionage on
behalf of the Russian government is Pete Buttigieg, the former mayor
of South Bend, Indiana.

“Intelligence has revealed that
Mr. Buttigieg is at this time the only candidate who we can count on
not to place our nation’s interests square in the hands of Vladimir
Putin,” an anonymous source in the Central Intelligence Agency told
NNC on Saturday.

“In fact Mr. Buttigieg is the
only candidate running with the skill, the experience and the
multilingual relatability needed to bridge our nation’s deep
divisions and bring Americans together in this time of uncontrolled
hostility,” the CIA source continued.

“Because in truth, the unity of
our togetherness is in the freedom of our democracy,” added the
source. “The long and winding road to the American flag was built
upon the steps of our founding fathers. You don’t have to be a big
shot Washington insider to see that the problems our nation faces are
tearing us apart at our own peril with radical divisive rhetoric
saying you need to burn down the establishment and voice a concrete
foreign policy position. And that’s why I for one believe we don’t
have to choose between revolution and the status quo: we can come
together and find solutions that help the working class and
billionaires.”

Experts say these new revelations
on Russian election interference should consume one hundred percent
of all news coverage for the entirety of 2020, and that Democrats
should definitely spend all their time from now until November
focusing solely on President Trump’s suspicious ties to the Russian
government.

“I can’t think of a single
thing that could possibly go wrong if Democrats focused exclusively
on the possibility that the president conspired with Vladimir Putin
in the lead-up to the election in November,” said Les Overton of
the influential think tank Americans for an American America*. “If
Democrats want to prevent another four years of Trump they should hit
him where they know it hurts: nonstop 24/7 Russia conspiracy
theories. That’s what Americans really care about.”

Asked if it’s possible that undue
emphasis on Russian collusion could prove a fruitless endeavor given
Trump’s soaring approval rating after impeachment resulted in his
acquittal and the Mueller report failed to indict a single American
for conspiring with the Russian government, Overton disagreed and
said this time will be “like, totally different.”

“Democrats should definitely
invest all of their mental and emotional energy in this Trump-Russia
scandal, because this time it’s a sure thing,” Overton said. “Put
all your eggs in this basket and get your hopes up very, very high.
The big BOOM is coming any minute now, I promise.”

Overton then departed with an
envelope full of cash which he said was his life savings, reportedly
to invest in lottery tickets.

VS zet nucleaire raketten in met ‘minilading’, de weg naar een kernoorlog

De
agressie van de VS kent werkelijk geen grenzen meer, alle
wapenverdragen worden door de Trump administratie tegen het licht
gehouden en vrijwel zonder uitzondering trekt men zich terug uit die
verdragen, dan wel verlengd ze niet meer……..

Een
volgend bewijs voor het e.e.a. is de bekendmaking van de Trump
administratie dat de VS een aantal onderzeeërs heeft uitgerust met
lange afstand kernraketten met een relatief kleine kernkop……

Uiteraard
stelt de psychopathische Trump administratie dat de wereld veiliger
is met die nieuwe raketten, echter het zal weinigen verbazen dat dit
juist de opmaat is naar een hernieuwd gebruik van kernwapens door de
VS*, waar de Obama administratie als eerste stelde niet
langer het gebruik van kernwapens uit te sluiten** bij een aanval op een vijand, een stap die
vrijwel direct werd gevolgd door de Britse regering May en nog later
door Rusland, die in feite niet anders kon dan hetzelfde te
zeggen…..*** Daarmee is het kernwapen verworden tot een eerste aanvalswapen
en niet langer een vergeldingswapen, in te zetten als een vijand
kernwapens heeft gebruikt om een kernwapen bezittend land aan te vallen……

Deze
zogenaamde tactische kernwapens zijn een enorm gevaar voor de
mensheid, daar een aanval met deze wapens vrijwel zeker een
tegenreactie zal uitlokken, al zal die tegenreactie
hoogstwaarschijnlijk bestaan uit een ‘normale’ kernraket, met een
veel grotere kracht…….. Bovendien zal men dit soort wapens veel
eerder inzetten, daar de ‘schade beperkt zal zijn…’ (als je duizenden slachtoffers beperkt vindt!)
Vergeet verder niet dat Trump toen hij net president was zich heeft afgevraagd waarom de VS kernraketten heeft als deze niet worden ingezet……. (hoe enorm krankzinnig moet je zijn om alleen zoiets al
te stellen…..) Het voorgaande is volkomen in tegenspraak met wat Strategic Culture hierover zegt in het artikel hieronder, daar wordt over de mening van Trump gezegd dat hij kernwapens afschuwelijk zou vinden……

De
Russische president Putin heeft onlangs bij een herdenking van de
Holocaust in Israël gezegd dat de 5 permanente leden van de VN
Veiligheidsraad snel bij elkaar moeten komen om een nieuw
anti-kernwapenbeleid uit te stippelen, waar zoals je al wel zult
hebben begrepen, geen reactie op werd gegeven door de VS….. (naast
Rusland en de VS zijn de ander permanente leden: China,
Frankrijk en Groot-Brittannië)

Pentagon confirmed this week that it has, for the first time, armed
some of its submarines with long-range nuclear missiles which have a
lower destructive power compared with existing warheads. These
so-called “mini-nukes” represent – despite the
diminutive-sounding name – an increased risk of nuclear war.

The newly deployed W76-2 warhead
fitted to the Trident missile system is reported to have an explosive
yield of five kilotons, or about 1 per cent of the existing W76-1
weapon. The supposed lower-yield weapon is nevertheless an instrument
of immense mass destruction, equivalent to approximately a third of
the power of the bomb the US dropped on Hiroshima in August 1945
which killed tens of thousands of people. That puts in perspective
the seemingly more usable “mini-nuke” missile.

However, with Dr Strangelove-type
logic, Pentagon official John Rood, claimed the
new device “would make Americans safer because it would deter the
danger of nuclear war happening.” He also reportedly cited the
weapon as a deterrent against alleged Russian aggression. (It is
lamentable, if not absurd, how American officials incorrigibly
portray Russia as a bogeyman. When will they ever evolve?)

The
official US reassurance is not the view of the US-based Bulletin of
Atomic Scientists who said the deployment of such weapons actually
increases the risk of an eventual nuclear war. This is because the
lower-yield W76-2 launched from US Ohio-class submarines will be
indistinguishable from the existing Trident warheads. Therefore the
danger of escalation to all-out nuclear war is increased.

Russia
also condemned the
US move. Sergei Ryabkov, Deputy Foreign Minister, said: “The US is
actually lowering the nuclear threshold and conceding the possibility
of waging a limited nuclear war and winning this war… this is
extremely alarming.”

What is doubly perplexing is the
wider context in which the Trump administration has abnegated arms
controls treaties. Last year, the administration walked away from the
Intermediate-range Nuclear Forces (INF) treaty, governing the use of
short-range, or tactical, nuclear missiles. So far, Washington has
shown every indication that it has no intention to extend the New
START accord with Russia governing long-range strategic weapons,
which is due to expire next year.

The deployment of low-yield nuclear
weapons as part of the strategic arsenal is bound to destabilize the
global strategic balance. Moscow has repeatedly warned that
Washington is trying to incite a new arms race. It points to the
undoing of arms controls treaties and the US weaponization of
outer-space as evidence of such an agenda of provoking global
insecurity.

It is tempting to speculate that
the US is reacting to Russia’s development of hypersonic
non-nuclear weapons which are said to be able to evade any
anti-missile defense system. Moscow maintains that its arsenal is
predicated on a doctrine of self-defense and not a first-strike
objective. In any case, it seems that the US having realized that it
has lost out to Russia in development of hypersonic non-nuclear
weapons has taken the tack of expanding its nuclear options. That
move overturns decades of declared non-proliferation commitments.

It
should also be noted that this week the Kremlin disclosed that
an urgent call issued by Russian President Vladimir Putin for the
five permanent members of the UN Security Council to convene a summit
in order to address international peace has so far been ignored by
Washington. Last month, at a Holocaust memorial in Israel, Putin
repeated a proposal for the UN founding powers – the US, Britain,
France, Russia and China – to consolidate efforts for strengthening
global security, non-proliferation and arms controls. 

This week, the
Kremlin said this call has not received any response from the US (or
the UK) to participate in such a forum.

Furthermore, next month sees one of
the biggest-ever NATO war maneuvers in Europe, including a massive
trans-Atlantic deployment of US forces. Russia’s Ministry of
Defense has deprecated the huge mobilization as being akin to a
rehearsal for an invasion of Russia.

President Donald Trump has
previously stated his abhorrence of nuclear war and has called for
negotiation of a new comprehensive arms control treaty between the
US, Russia and China.

All empirical evidence shows that
American rhetoric is completely and contemptibly detached from the
reality of its threatening practices. The world is moving towards
more insecurity and risk of catastrophic war. And the fault of that
damnable dynamic lies entirely with Washington.

CaitlinJohnstone heeft een artikel gewijd aan de tegenstelling in wat
‘respectabele burgers’ geloven en wat samenzweringstheoretici
geloven.

Eén
ding is niet duidelijk uit de kop boven het artikel van Johnstone en
dat blijkt ook uit het artikel wat ze schreef: het verschil in geloof
is een beetje mank met de vergelijking tussen de twee groepen, immers
samenzweringstheoretici (complottherie in labels, direct onder dit bericht) zijn voor een groot deel mensen die zich niet
verlaten op wat de reguliere westerse media melden, zij zoeken verder
als er een claim wordt gelegd door die media, daar ze uit ervaring
weten dat we met grote regelmaat worden belazerd door diezelfde media, ook
wel aangeduid als massamedia…… Bij deze mensen behoef je dan ook niet te spreken over ‘geloof’, daar de meesten van deze mensen weten wat er echt is gebeurt, mede uit een patform als Wikileaks, of uit andere door klokkenluiders gelekte documenten, video’s en geluidsfragmenten.

‘Respectabele
burgers’, wat overigens ook totale idioten kunnen zijn, mensen die alles geloven wat men in de reguliere media meldt, zelfs als dit met grote
regelmaat tegenstrijdige artikelen zijn. Neem de berichtgeving in
aanloop naar de illegale oorlogen die de VS deze eeuw begon en de verslaggeving
tijdens deze illegale oorlogen, waar deze media alle leugens van de
VS overheid en haar geheime diensten overnemen, zelfs als die media
daar al een paar keer plat mee op de bek zijn gegaan……

Samenzweringstheoretici
bezien zaken ten eerste al of iets geloofwaardig is of niet, waarna
men gaat zoeken naar het hoe en wat. Neem de illegale oorlog tegen
Irak, waar de VS in aanloop stelde dat dit land
massavernietigingswapens zou hebben, terwijl het team van VN
wapeninspecteurs bij herhaling heeft gemeld dat dit niet zo was, Blix
de leider van het team heeft zich schor geluld om de leugen van de VS
te ontkrachten en ondanks dat bleven de massamedia de leugens van de
VS herhalen, sterker nog kranten als NRC (‘de slijpsteen van de geest….’) drongen zelfs aan op een
oorlog tegen Irak,……

Nog een
voorbeeld: de aanslagen van 9/11, nog steeds houden de reguliere
media vol dat deze aanslagen werden uitgedacht en uitgevoerd door Al
Qaida, terwijl er intussen een overvloed aan bewijs is dat de VS
overheid de grote spin in het web was….. Echte
samenzweringstheoretici vragen zich ten eerste af wie er voordeel had
bij bepaalde acties, in het geval van 9/11 was dit de VS overheid zelf die
verlegen zat om een vijand waarmee men ten eerste het publiek achter
de president en zijn administratie kon houden en ten tweede de belangen kon dienen van het
leger van de VS (een aparte machtsfactor) en het militair-industrieel complex…….* Voorts verdampte met die
aanslagen een fiks deel van de schulden die de VS overheid had

Johnstone
heeft een ‘mooie lijst’ gemaakt waaruit blijkt dat zogenaamde
samenzweringstheoretici juist
degenen zijn die het meestal bij het rechte eind hebben…. Lees het
artikel en geeft het door, we zijn met nog veel te weinig
‘samenzweringstheoretici’ en veel te veel mensen die alles geloven wat de
reguliere media hen voorschotelen, hoe groot de bewijzen van
het tegendeel ook zijn, niet voor niets kunnen deze media de grootste onzin
brengen en dat doen ze dan ook daadwerkelijk met grote
regelmaat…… (terwijl diezelfde media het bij tijd en wijle uitschreeuwen als men spreekt over ‘fake news’ [nepnieuws] en ander desinformatie op de sociale media die het volk zouden manipuleren, nogmaals waar juist de reguliere media zich hier schuldig aan maken….)

Overigens wil e.e.a. niet zeggen dat er geen maffe samenzweringstheoretici zijn, echter dat komt altijd bloot te liggen in het soort theorien die deze figuren aanhangen. De term samenzweringstheorie is uitgevonden door de CIA, die daarmee kritiek en vragen de kop in wilde drukken, die overbleven na de moord op John F. Kennedy.

armies never existed and the Libya intervention was never really
about humanitarian concerns.

upstanding citizens believe it’s better not to think about such
things.

Crazy,
stupid conspiracy theorists believe the latest WikiLeaks publications
of internal OPCW documents provide ample evidence that we were lied
to about the 2018 Douma incident.

Smart
upstanding citizens believe those documents aren’t real because The
New York Times
never reported on them.

Crazy,
stupid conspiracy theorists believe that increasing levels of
government secrecy are making it easier for government agencies to do
unethical things in secret.

Smart
upstanding citizens believe that questioning your government makes
you a Russian anti-semite.

Crazy,
stupid conspiracy theorists believe that the billionaire class which
owns the mass media has a natural incentive to prop up the status quo
upon which it is built, and so construct an environment where
reporters are incentivized to always support the establishment line.

really happening, it would have been in the news.

BBC W.S. voor het de nek omdraaien van de Servische orthodoxe kerk in Montenegro, opgediend met anti-Russische propaganda

Grote protesten in Montenegro over een religieuze wet die de Servische orthodoxe kerk van haar bezittingen zal ontdoen, als ze niet kan aantonen dat deze al in haar bezit waren voor 1918…. De wet zou gisteren laat dan wel vandaag worden aangenomen.

De BBC World Service berichtte hier gistermiddag over in haar nieuwsuitzending van 16.00 u. (CET) en zoals je waarschijnlijk al had begrepen was de toon in het bericht gericht tegen de demonstranten die gisteren de straat opgingen in de hoofdstad Podgorica….. Logisch daar het immers over de Servische orthodoxe kerk gaat en alles wat met Servië te maken heeft kan op de furie van ‘de onafhankelijke BBC’ rekenen en dat gaat zelfs gepaard met de grofste leugens, zoals ex-president Milosevic die door de BBC nog steeds schuldig wordt bevonden aan de moorden die Mladic pleegde, terwijl Milosevic na zijn dood is vrijgesproken door het Joegoslavië tribunaal……. (een tribunaal dat vooral de Serven heeft vervolgd en niets heeft gedaan tegen de oorlogsmisdaden van de NAVO troepen die bijvoorbeeld burgerdoelen in Servië bombardeerden en van terreurgroepen zoals het UÇK dat in Kosovo bloedbaden aanrichtte onder Servische burgers…..)

Hoe verschillend is de reactie van de BBC op demonstraties in Rusland, elke tegenstander van Putin en zijn regering wordt als een heilige neergezet. Zoals ‘oppositieleider’ Aleksej Navalny, die gisteren te maken kreeg met een inval van de politie in zijn kantoor. Navalny wordt inderdaad bijna als een heilige voorgesteld, terwijl deze figuur al een fiks aantal zaken heeft geflikt die hier en in Groot-Brittannië (het land van de afhankelijke BBC) zonder meer als misdadig zouden worden gezien…. Men noemde nog even de demonstraties die door Navalny werden georganiseerd en waaraan ‘honderdduizenden’ Russen zouden hebben meegedaan….. Echter als je die demonstraties van de laatste jaren ziet, mag je al ‘van geluk spreken’ als er een keer meer dan 2.000 mensen deelnamen aan die demonstraties, sterker nog maar al te vaak gaat het om een paar honderd mensen….. ‘Logisch toch’ dat Navalny door de BBC ‘oppositieleider’ wordt genoemd als hij ‘zoveel mensen’ op de been weet te krijgen in een land dat meer dan 144 miljoen mensen rijk is…..*

De BBC? Een afhankelijke publieke zendgemachtigde die vooral goed is in het brengen van propaganda voor de VS, de NAVO en verdere gekleurde berichtgeving….. Berichtgeving ook voor alle illegale oorlogen die de VS voert, die als volkomen normaal worden voorgesteld door de BBC middels een hele berg leugens, ofwel: fake news (nepnieuws) en andere desinformatie waarmee deze zendgemachtigde het publiek manipuleert (zoals de haatcampagne, met de wel heel smerige leugen dat Jeremy Corbyn antisemitisch zou zijn, een smaadcampagne die de BBC de laatste jaren voerde tegen deze Labour leider en die hem de verkiezingen koste…….

* Moet wel zeggen dat ik het vreemd vind dat de Russische overheid zo inzet op figuren Navalny en zijn maten in misdaad, immers men maakt zich daarmee tot doel van haatzaaierij in de westerse reguliere media, die elk incident aangrijpen om Rusland over de hekel te halen, terwijl het om marginale groepen gaat…..

Hubert Smeets met partijdig commentaar op persronde van de Russische president Putin

Gisteren was het weer de dag dat Putin een paar uur lang vragen beantwoordde van de internationale pers. 

Zoals bekend, de reguliere Nederlandse media inclusief de publieke omroepen, plus de zogenaamd onafhankelijke NOS, hebben al lang niets meer te maken met onafhankelijkheid en objectieve berichtgeving…. Niet vreemd dus dat oorlogshitser Hubert Smeets, tevens Rusland ‘basher’ en propagandatoeter voor terreurorganisatie NAVO, weer te horen was op Radio1 en daar commentaar gaf op de samenkomst van Putin en de (internationale) pers. 

Uiteraard had ik geen zin om m’n ochtend te laten verzieken door Smeets, maar rond 10.45 u. bij gebrek aan enig zinnig onderwerp op andere zenders, even geluisterd en ja hoor Smeets zat weer op z’n propagandastoel. Eén en ander had tot gevolg dat ik van m’n kruk donderde toen Smeets opmerkte dat de gezondheidszorg ook belangrijk is voor de Russen en daar die zorg, volgens hem zogenaamd gratis is in Rusland, is er sprake van corruptie…… ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Volgens Smeets hebben de Russen ook te maken met wachtlijsten die hij vergeleek met die in ons land in de 90er jaren, alsof we nu geen wachtlijsten meer hebben als je naar een specialist gaat…… Ook zouden Russen in de rij staan voor hulp in het ziekenhuis, vreemd genoeg is in ons land hetzelfde aan de hand zoals ik dit jaar een fiks aantal keren heb moeten meemaken, echter volgens Smeets is dat een ‘corrupt Russisch verschijnsel…’ Waarom een gratis gezondheidszorg altijd gepaard zou gaan met corruptie, werd natuurlijk niet duidelijk gemaakt door deze uiterst vervelende zwetskont…….

Wij betalen ons helemaal scheel aan de gezondheidszorg en nog kom je op de wachtlijst, wij betalen ons helemaal scheel aan de gezondheidszorg en toch gaan er ziekenhuizen failliet (een schande die niet met een pen is te beschrijven!!)…. We betalen ons helemaal scheel en toch worden de zorgmedewerkers onderbetaald…… We betalen ons scheel aan de gezondheidszorg en toch hebben de zorgverzekeraars miljarden op de plank liggen (terwijl ze ziekenhuizen failliet laten gaan….)…. De zorgverzekeraars vreten intussen zelf een fiks deel van de zorgtaart op, waarmee ze: -hun top onbeschoft hoge salarissen betalen, -peperdure design kantoorgebouwen laten neerzetten en waarmee ze -kapitalen uitgeven aan reclame en ‘merchandising…..’ 

Smeets spreekt over corruptie, echter hoe noemt hij dan het feit dat we in Nederland met een klassenzorg te maken hebben, waar de welgestelden zich binnen een paar dagen door de beste artsen kunnen laten behandelen..?? Als je geen geld hebt kan je bijvoorbeeld kronen voor je gebit wel vergeten…. De  tandzorg is overigens al helemaal een ondergeschoven tak van zorg in Nederland, terwijl een slecht gebit tot zware fysieke klachten leidt en zelfs tot de dood kan leiden…… Ofwel alle bezuinigingen op de tandzorg die we sinds invoering van het ‘nieuwe zorgstelsel’ hebben gezien, leiden juist tot veel grotere uitgaven!

Zoals Smeets al opmerkte is de gezondheidszorg in Rusland gratis, zonder aanhalingstekens!! Over de zorg in Rusland wist hij niets anders te zeggen dan dat men met wachtlijsten te maken heeft en dat dit corruptie in de hand werkt (zonder enig voorbeeld), echter de gezondheidszorg in Rusland schijnt over het algemeen prima in orde te zijn!! 

De hoogste tijd dat Smeets zich terugtrekt in een seniorenflat en daar de rest van zijn leven slijt, wat een enorme zakkenwasser! Laat Smeets zich maar eens oriënteren op de zorg in de VS, waar burgers zelfs kankermedicatie kunnen vergeten als ze niet verzekerd zijn en dat zijn daar velen….

Ach ja, het is als met de agressie, of beter gezegd terreur van de VS, daar hoor je Smeets nooit over, nee Rusland zou een agressieve buitenlandpolitiek voeren, echter niet Rusland maar de VS is alleen deze eeuw al verantwoordelijk voor meer dan 2,5 miljoen burgerslachtoffers (vermoord…) in de illegale oorlogen die het o.a. in het Midden-Oosten voerde, oorlogen waar Smeets zich altijd achter schaart, ook al veroorzaken die islamterreur op onze straten en heeft die VS terreur (met hulp van andere NAVO-lidstaten) miljoenen op de vlucht doen slaan, westerse terreur waaraan ook Nederland heeft meegewerkt…… (en ja, daarvoor betalen wij belastinggeld….)

New York Times komt alweer met valse anti-Russische propaganda

York Times (NYT) heeft propaganda maken tegen Rusland tot haar
specialisme gemaakt. Zoals je begrijpt gaat het dan m.n. om angst
voor de Russen te cultiveren, waarbij men bij wijze van spreken geen blad voor de mond
neemt…..

De
nieuwste manipulatie van het volk bestaat uit een fantasie waarin men
spreekt over een Russische elite spionage eenheid die de EU moet
destabiliseren. De eenheid zou pas onlangs ontdekt zijn, draagt de
aanduiding ‘Unit 29155’ en zou door het Kremlin worden aangestuurd.

Deze
eenheid zou verantwoordelijk zijn voor: -een poging in 2015 om een
Bulgaarse wapenhandelaar te vermoorden, -de destabilisatie van Moldavië, -een couppoging tegen de regering van Montenegro en de
poging om ‘dubbelspion’ Skripal te vermoorden……. Wat betreft de laatst genoemde: je weet wel, het meer
dan belachelijke verhaal in episodes dat Rusland als dader moest
aanwijzen voor de vergiftiging van Skripal en zijn dochter, iets waarvoor tot op heden geen flinter aan bewijs is
gevonden, men heeft zelfs met de natte vinger in de lucht de daders
aangewezen, waarvoor men de camerabeelden van het vliegveld gebruikte
waarop een paar Russen waren te zien en tja met 2 Russische mannen lag er een horizon
aan leugens open, een horizon aan fantasieën waarmee men de Russen
beschuldigde van de smerigste zaken……

Uiteraard
haalt de NYT weer het Russiagate sprookje aan door te stellen dat het
bestaan van deze eenheid nog eens onderstreept dat Putin bezig is met
een ‘hybride oorlogsvoering’ tegen het westen middels een mix van
propaganda, hacken (o.a. verkiezingsmanipulatie) en
desinformatie….. Het publiek van de NYT wordt verteld dat Rusland
zich in oorlog waant met de ‘westerse liberale orde’ (lees:
neoliberale, of fascistische orde) die het als een bedreiging ziet…… In andere, maar juiste context gezien, is dit nog waar ook…. (vergeet niet dat de VS zich ook tot grote vijand van Rusland heeft gemaakt en nu, in tegenstelling tot de Koude Oorlog, direct en illegaal voor de westelijke grenzen van Rusland staat…….)

Dmitri Peskov, een woordvoerder van het Kremlin liet onlangs weten dat er de laatste paar jaar een westerse campagne gaande is die Rusland demoniseert en dat deze campagne steeds verder wordt geïntensiveerd, dit met gebruikmaking van o.a. ‘valse informatie’ die door hem werd afgedaan als behorend tot de ‘Pulp Fiction categorie’. De Russische ambassade in GB heeft onlangs een compilatie gebracht van valse westerse artikelen over Rusland en haar internationaal handelen, waarbij NYT inderdaad opvalt door de grote hoeveelheid van deze artikelen…….

Het is zeker dat de geheime diensten de reguliere massamedia in de zak hebben en dat geldt nog meer voor de NYT, Time Inc. en CBS….. In een schrijven uit 1977 van de gelauwerde journalist Carl Bernstein, vertelt deze o.a. over de inspanningen van de CIA om systematisch honderden reporters, columnisten, eindredacteuren en omroepnetwerken zodanig te bespelen dat men de beschuldigingen en andere anti-Sovjet inspanningen gedaan door geheime diensten als waarheid verkondigt en daarmee vooral de Sovjet-Unie demoniseerde…… 

John Stockwell, in de 70er jaren een CIA medewerker stelde al eens dat de VS een vijand nodig heeft om de oorlogsmachine draaiend te houden….. Eén van de redenen om de TwinTowers en gebouw 7 van het WTC op te blazen, immers met het verdwijnen van de Sovjet-Unie viel een vijand weg die cruciaal was voor de VS wapenindustrie…. Daar de ‘oorlog tegen terreur’, die gevoerd werd middels grootschalige bloedige terreur tegen andere volkeren, niet genoeg opleverde aan contracten*, keek men opnieuw naar Rusland als ‘de ideale vijand’ die een wapenrace, of zelfs een kernwapenrace, mogelijk maakte….. Immers zo goed als deze doodsindustrie draaide ten tijde van de Sovjet-Unie (in verhouding tot de situatie nu) werd nog niet gehaald en dat heeft de wens doen herleven om Rusland weer als de grote vijand aan te wijzen en dat is gelukt, met medeneming van China, Noord-Korea en natuurlijk Iran…….

Voor deze zaken zijn bewijzen te over, neem de leugens voorafgaand aan de zoveelste illegale oorlog van de VS, waar de media deze leugens als waarheid verkondigden, neem de tijd voorafgaand aan de illegale oorlog tegen Irak….. Bij mijn weten is er geen mediaorgaan waar men deze leugens als waarheid verkondigde, die daarvoor een rectificatie heeft geplaatst, men doet net alsof de ‘journalistieke neus’ bloedt….

het artikel dat Finian Cunningham schreef en dat eerder verscheen op
Information Clearing House, waarin deze dieper ingaat op de zoveelste valse beschuldiging aan het adres van Rusland…. Terwijl
juist het westen, met de VS voorop, bezig is de boel in
eigen land en elders te manipuleren middels nepnieuws, desinformatie en het steken van verkiezingen, plus de
daarbij horende angst- en haatzaaierij, zaken die wel bewezen zijn
middels vele meters aan documentatie, neem alleen al het enorme
archief van WikiLeaks.

Tot slot nog dit: de leugen die Rusland als een macht aanwijst die expansie nastreeft is des te belachelijker als je ziet dat de VS deze eeuw al minstens 4 illegale oorlogen is gestart…. Geen regulier westers mediaorgaan zal dit feit zo melden, nee men wijst met de vieze vingers naar Rusland, terwijl de VS bij die door haar begonnen illegale oorlogen al meer dan 2,5 miljoen slachtoffers heeft gemaakt…. Ongelofelijk!!

Clearing House” –  The
“newspaper of record” New York Times arguably holds the record
for peddling anti-Russia scare stories. This week the NY Times
delivered yet another classic spook tale dressed as serious news.


Among
its splash articles, under the headline ‘Top
Secret Russian Unit Seeks to Destabilize Europe, Security Officials
Say’, readers were told of an elite Russian spy team which has,
allegedly, only recently been discovered.


It’s
called “Unit
29155”
and purportedly directed by the Kremlin to “destabilize
Europe”
with “subversion,
sabotage and assassination.”

According
to the NY Times, this crack squad of Russia’s most ruthless
military intelligence agents were involved in an attempted
assassination of an arms dealer in Bulgaria in 2015; the
destabilization of Moldova; a failed coup against the Montenegrin
government; and the alleged poisoning of former double agent Sergei
Skripal in England last year.


The
article states: “Western
security officials have now concluded that these operations, and
potentially many others, are part of a coordinated and ongoing
campaign to destabilize Europe, executed by an elite unit inside the
Russian intelligence system skilled in subversion, sabotage and
assassination.”


The
NY Times adds: “The
purpose of Unit 29155, which has not been previously reported,
underscores the degree to which the Russian president, Vladimir V.
Putin, is actively fighting the West with his brand of so-called
hybrid warfare — a blend of propaganda, hacking attacks and
disinformation — as well as open military confrontation.”


This
is all because, the readers are told, “The
Kremlin sees Russia as being at war with a Western liberal order that
it views as an existential threat.”


In
response, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov dismissed it
as more of the “pulp
fiction category”
which Western news media have manufactured with seeming increasing
intensity over recent years. Peskov pointed out that Moscow has
repeatedly stated its desire to normalize relations with Western
states and the European Union in particular, contradicting the theme
of the NY Times’ piece.


Indeed,
the Russian Embassy in Britain recently published a
compilation of false articles peddled by Western media over the past
four years. The NY Times features prominently as one of the main
purveyors of scare stories about alleged malign Russian activities,
from hacking into presidential elections, to targeting American power
grids, to covert collusion with President Donald Trump.


For
students of Propaganda 101, this week’s tale makes a case study of
how disinformation is disseminated in the guise of “news
reporting.”

First
of all, the NY Times reporter, Michael Schwirtz, gives a meandering
account of lurid dirty deeds performed in various international
locations allegedly carried out by the supposed “elite” Kremlin
hybrid warriors. But tellingly, there are no details evidencing
Russian involvement. It’s all lurid speculation spiced with
fear-mongering, which reads like a pallid John le Carré spy novel.

Then,
the usual giveaway that the NY Times is engaging in disinformation,
it quotes anonymous security officials for apparent verification of
its claims about “Unit 29155”. This is tacit admission of who the
real authors are: Western spooks.


Next,
a neat effort to give the lame story some legs is to quote named
public figures. But these sources don’t confirm the existence of
the alleged Kremlin unit; they are merely invited to speculate on its
existence and presumed malign purpose. One of those named sources is
MI6 chief Alex Younger. Yes, that’s right, the paper of record is
quoting British military intelligence as a reliable source for public
information. Another named source is Peter Zwack, who is described as
a former US military intelligence officer who worked at the American
Embassy in Moscow. Zwack is quoted as describing Russians as
“organically
ruthless”
(whatever that means), while the paper actually admits that “he
was not aware of the unit’s existence.”

The
purpose of throwing a few names into the reporting mix is to lend a
veneer of credibility to the nebulous, unverifiable, scary stuff that
the anonymous spooks feed the reporter.


A
special mention must be given to a third named source quoted by the
NY Times. He is Eerik-Niiles Kross, an Estonian lawmaker and former
military intelligence chief in Tallinn. 

He styles himself
as “Estonia’s
James Bond,”
and is known for his salacious Russophobic warnings of “imminent
invasion of the Baltic states” – over the past three decades.
Kross is quoted to speculate on the existence of the alleged Kremlin
hybrid warfare unit. Of course, he dutifully serves up his notorious
anti-Russian fear-mongering. But he is not confirming. His
speculation is pseudo-validation of information that is essentially
fictional.

All
in all, the latest installment of anti-Russia propaganda from the NY
Times this week is a damp squib among many previous baseless reports
of alleged Kremlin malign activity. If it serves any purpose, it is
perhaps a choice illustration of how disinformation is sneakily,
insidiously presented as ‘news’. The fact that this should appear
in a Pulitzer Prize-winning, supposedly premier, American newspaper
is the disturbing part.

But
it is no surprise to those who have long studied how the US corporate
media has been under the control of state intelligence agencies for
many decades, especially after the Second World War and during the
subsequent Cold War against the Soviet Union.


In
a seminal essay in
1977 for Rolling Stone magazine, award-winning journalist Carl
Bernstein documented how the CIA systematically cultivated hundreds
of reporters, columnists, editors, publishing executives and
broadcast networks to function as conduits for disinformation –
much of it directed at demonizing the Soviet Union.

“From
the outset, the use of journalists was among the CIA’s most
sensitive undertakings,”
writes Bernstein.


He
added: “By
far the most valuable of these associations, according to CIA
officials, have been with the New York Times, CBS and Time Inc.”


How
the CIA goes about planting false stories in the American and
European media is outlined in this candid interview by
John Stockwell, who was former National Security Council coordinator
for the agency during the 1970s. Stockwell also added: “Enemies
are necessary for the wheels of the US military machine to turn.”

You
may wonder, if the Cold War ended nearly 30 years ago when the Soviet
Union dissolved, why then do the NY Times and other Western media
outlets continue to pump out anti-Russian propaganda? But that
assumes the Cold War was primarily about the US opposing the ideology
of communism. It wasn’t. It was, and still is, all about imposing
control over the masses so they don’t ever challenge the power
structure that deprives them of full democratic rights and decent
livelihoods.


In
a recent interview,
philosopher André Vitchek makes the point that Western politicians
and media like the NY Times keep harping on Cold War scare stories
about evil foreigners in order “to distract their citizens from
thinking about their increasingly limited freedoms and diminishing
standards of living.”

The
Cold War continues, and anti-Russia hysteria is but a distraction, as
was the anti-Soviet hysteria. The aim is to distract the public from
the real Cold War which is a war by the elites against democracy ever
being actually realized among the masses.

Hiroshima en Nagasaki 74 jaar later: tijd om eindelijk de bom te bannen en de VS agressie tegen Rusland te onderzoeken

Vandaag
is het 74 jaar geleden dat een atoombom van de VS volkomen zinloos een
eind aan het leven maakte van 80.000 inwoners van Nagasaki, dit nadat de
VS deze vreselijke oorlogsmisdaad en misdaad tegen de menselijkheid 3
dagen eerder beging tegen de Japanse stad Hiroshima*, daarbij
kwamen 146.000 mensen op een vreselijke manier om het leven,
hoofdzakelijk burgers dus kinderen, vrouwen, gehandicapten, ouden van
dagen en mannen, mannen die werkzaam waren in ziekenhuizen, scholen,
lokale overheid en in het bedrijfsleven…..

De
schrijver van het hieronder opgenomen artikel van CounterPunch is
Alice Slater. Zij wijst i.v.m de herdenkingen dezer dagen van de
atoomaanvallen op Hiroshima en Nagasaki, op de ernstig
verslechterende relatie van de VS met Rusland, al helemaal wat betreft
kernwapens, waar de VS en de NAVO categorisch weigeren in te gaan op
een uitnodiging van Rusland om de raketten te inspecteren, de
raketten waarvan de VS zegt dat ze het INF-verdrag schenden, iets dat
Rusland met klem ontkent…….

Het
is dan ook duidelijk dat de VS zelf af wil van het verdrag, dat ze
overigens zelf hebben geschonden met het zogenaamde raketschild tegen
Iraanse raketten, een scherm gestationeerd in Polen en Roemenië, dus bijna aan de voordeur van Rusland…… De raketten van dit schild kunnen
in een mum van tijd worden voorzien van meerdere kernkoppen, waarmee
ze onder het INF-verdrag vallen en een stad als Moskou in korte tijd
kunnen platleggen…….

De
Trump administratie denkt werkelijk een nucleaire oorlog te kunnen
winnen, dat moet Trump eens duidelijk uitleggen aan zijn achterban,
benieuwd of ze dan nog zo enthousiast zijn als ze erachter komen dat zij zullen worden opgeofferd in geval van een
kernoorlog……….

Trump
vroeg zich een paar jaar geleden af waarom de VS kernraketten heeft
en deze niet gebruikt…… (de psychopathisch moordende rotschoft)

Lees
het bericht van Slater, waarin zij nog dieper op deze materie ingaat, waaruit duidelijk wordt dat de VS nooit van zins is geweest om haar atoomkracht werkelijk terug te schalen en zegt het voort. Het is de hoogste tijd dat we met z’n allen weer
de straat opgaan en eisen dat de VS kernbommen worden verwijderd uit
(Noord-) West-Europa en het voormalig Oostblok….. Als het tot een
kernoorlog komt tussen agressor VS en Rusland, zal dit gebied in
Europa worden weggevaagd……. Zie wat dat betekent door je te
verdiepen in wat de atoombommen in Hiroshima en Nagasaki hebben
betekend voor de bewoners van die steden, waar nog steeds mensen
lijden aan de gevolgen daarvan, al is dat de generatie die na de bom
werd geboren, als ik me niet vergis is de laatste overlevende een
paar jaar terug overleden….

Unlearned: Time to Tell the Truth About US Relations with Russia and
Finally Ban the Bomb

August
6th and 9th mark 74 years since the atomic bombing of Hiroshima
and Nagasaki, where only one nuclear bomb dropped on each city caused
the deaths of up to 146,000 people in Hiroshima and 80,000 people in
Nagasaki. Now, with the US decision to walk away from the 1987
Intermediate-Range Nuclear Force (INF) negotiated with the Soviet
Union, we are once again staring into the abyss of one of the most
perilous nuclear challenges since the height of the Cold War.

With
its careful verification and inspections, the INF Treaty eliminated a
whole class of missiles that threatened peace and stability in
Europe. Now the US is leaving the treaty on
the grounds that
Moscow is developing and deploying a missile with a range prohibited
by the treaty. Russia denies the charges and accuses the US of
violating the treaty.  The US rejected repeated Russian requests
to work out the differences in order to preserve the Treaty.

The
US withdrawal should be seen in the context of the historical
provocations visited upon the Soviet Union and now Russia by the
United States and the nations under the US nuclear “umbrella” in
NATO and the Pacific. The US has been driving the nuclear arms race
with Russia from the dawn of the nuclear age:

— In
1946 Truman rejected 
Stalin’s offer to turn the bomb over to the newly formed UN under
international supervision, after which the Russians made their own
bomb;

–Reagan
rejected Gorbachev’s offer to give up Star Wars as a condition for
both countries to eliminate all their nuclear weapons when the wall
came down and Gorbachev released all of Eastern Europe from Soviet
occupation, miraculously, without a shot;

— The
US pushed NATO right up to Russia’s borders, despite promises when
the wall fell that NATO would not expand it one inch eastward of a
unified Germany;

–Clinton
bombed Kosovo, bypassing Russia’s veto in the UN Security Council
and violating the UN treaty we signed never to commit a war of
aggression against another nation unless under imminent threat of
attack;

–Clinton
refused Putin’s offer to each cut our massive nuclear arsenals to
1000 bombs each and call all the others to the table to negotiate for
their elimination, provided we stopped developing missile sites in
Romania;

–Bush
walked out of the 1972 Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty and put the new
missile base in Romania with another to open shortly under Trump in
Poland, right in Russia’s backyard;

–Bush
and Obama blocked any discussion in 2008 and 2014 on Russian and
Chinese proposals for a space weapons ban in the consensus-bound
Committee for Disarmament in Geneva;

–Obama’s rejected Putin’s
offer to negotiate a treaty to ban cyber war;

–Trump
now walked out of the INF Treaty;

–From
Clinton through Trump, the US never ratified the 1992 Comprehensive
Test Ban Treaty as Russia has, and has performed more than 20
underground sub-critical tests on the Western Shoshone’s sanctified
land at the Nevada test site.  Since plutonium is blown up with
chemicals that don’t cause a chain reaction, the US claims these
tests don’t violate the treaty;

–Obama,
and now Trump, pledged over one trillion dollars for the next 30
years for two new nuclear bomb factories in Oak Ridge and Kansas
City, as well as new submarines, missiles, airplanes, and warheads!

What
has Russia had to say about these US affronts to international
security and negotiated treaties? Putin at his State of the Nation
address in March 2018 said:

“I
will speak about the newest systems of Russian strategic weapons that
we are creating in response to the unilateral withdrawal of the
United States of America from the Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty and
 the practical deployment of their missile defence systems both
in the US and beyond their national borders.

I
would like to make a short journey into the recent past. Back in
2000, the US announced its withdrawal from the Anti-Ballistic
Missile Treaty. Russia was categorically against this. We saw the
Soviet-US ABM Treaty signed in 1972 as the cornerstone of the
international security system. Under this treaty, the parties
had the right to deploy ballistic missile defence systems only in
one of its regions. Russia deployed these systems around Moscow, and
the US around its Grand Forks land-based ICBM base. Together
with the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty, the ABM treaty not
only created an atmosphere of trust but also prevented either party
from recklessly using nuclear weapons, which would have
endangered humankind, because the limited number of ballistic
missile defence systems made the potential aggressor vulnerable
to a response strike.

We
did our best to dissuade the Americans from withdrawing from the
treaty.

All
in vain. The
US pulled out of the treaty in 2002. Even after that we tried to
develop constructive dialogue with the Americans. We proposed working
together in this area to ease concerns and maintain the atmosphere of
trust. At one point, I thought that a compromise was possible, but
this was not to be. All our proposals, absolutely all of them, were
rejected. And then we said that we would have to improve our modern
strike systems to protect our security”. 

Despite
promises made in the 1970 Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) that the
five nuclear weapons states–US, UK, Russia, France, China–would
eliminate their nuclear weapons while all the other nations of the
world promised not to get them (except for India, Pakistan, and
Israel, which also acquired nuclear weapons), there are still nearly
14,000 nuclear bombs on the planet. All but 1,000 of them are in the
US and Russia, while the seven other countries, including North
Korea, have about 1000 bombs between them.  If the US and Russia
can’t settle their differences and honor their promise in the NPT
to eliminate their nuclear weapons, the whole world will continue to
live under what President Kennedy described as a nuclear Sword of
Damocles, threatened with unimaginable catastrophic humanitarian
suffering and destruction.

To
prevent a nuclear catastrophe, in 2017, 122 nations adopted a new
Treaty for the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW). It calls for a
ban on nuclear weapons just as the world had banned chemical and
biological weapons.  The ban treaty provides a pathway for
nuclear weapons states to join and dismantle their arsenals under
strict and effective verification. The International Campaign to
Abolish Nuclear Weapons, which received the Nobel Peace Prize for its
efforts, is working for the treaty to enter into force by enrolling
50 nations to ratify the treaty.  As of today, 70 nations have
signed the treaty and 24 have ratified it, although none of them are
nuclear weapons states or the US alliance states under the nuclear
umbrella.

With
this new opportunity to finally ban the bomb and end the nuclear
terror,  let us tell the truth about what happened between the
US and Russia that brought us to this perilous moment and put the
responsibility where it belongs to open up a path for true peace and
reconciliation so that never again will anyone on our  planet
ever be threatened with the terrible consequences of nuclear war.
