Ron Paul: trek VS troepen terug uit Irak, minstens 1 miljoen Irakezen eisen dat

week vrijdag trokken zo’n 1 miljoen Irakezen in protest de straat op
en eisten daar het vertrek van VS troepen (uit hun land). Dit nadat
het parlement en de zittende regering de VS al had gevraagd te
vertrekken, waarbij leiders van de demonstratie de VS en andere westerse
landen waaronder Nederland) waarschuwden voor de consequenties als ze
niet zouden vertrekken, hetzelfde werd herhaald door de Iraakse premier Adil Abdul-Mahdi echter Pompeo, de minister van BuZa in de VS,
lachte de Iraakse premier uit in het gezicht…….

Volgens
de psychopathische massamoordenaar Pompeo is de VS in Irak om IS (=
ISIS) te verslaan en weigert botweg te vertrekken, ofwel schijt aan
de democratie die de VS zo vaak vals predikt als het weer op illegaal
oorlogspad is……. Irak is dus geen soeverein land meer, immers
gezien ook deze zaak, maakt de VS de de dienst uit in dat land…….

Het is
wel overduidelijk dat de VS nog
steeds het plan heeft om het bewind van de Iraanse president Rohani
omver te werpen, vandaar ook dat de VS sinds vorig jaar lente maar liefst
20.000 militairen extra heeft gezonden naar het Midden-Oosten,  (vanwege die oorlogsplannen is het van belang dat er een aanzienlijke VS legermacht achterblijft in Iran en Syrië…)….. Een uiterst smerige politiek daar Rohani tot de
gematigde krachten behoort in Iran, met het steeds verder onder druk
zetten van Iran door de VS, krijgen de islamitische leiders in dat
land steeds meer macht….. Het was dan ook in het geheel niet in het
belang van de Trump administratie dat gematigde krachten aan het
bewind kwamen in dit sjiitische land….. De oorlogstrom moet blijven
klinken, zoals de kassa’s van de wapenindustrie, privé huurlegers en die van de geheime
diensten moeten blijven ‘rinkelen………’

Totaal
belachelijk dat de reguliere westerse media zo weinig aandacht aan
deze zaak schenken, terwijl men daar intussen een groot deel van de
versufte aandacht gebruikt voor het impeachment proces in de VS dat
tot niets zal leiden, immers de Republikeinen hebben de meerderheid
in de senaat, die gaan echt niet voor het vertrek van Trump stemmen, al helemaal niet in een verkiezingsjaar!!!

In feite
heeft de VS het Iraakse parlement buiten spel gezet en de rest van
het westen vindt het wel best…. (ook Nederland trekt haar troepen
niet terug uit Irak en steekt haar neus verder in het wespennest door een
fregat naar de Straat van Hormuz te sturen, zogenaamd een Frans
initiatief, maar reken gerust als er stront aan de knikker komt,
Nederland meedoet aan de zoveelste illegale oorlog van de VS…….

Ron Paul stelt volkomen terecht in zijn schrijven dat je hieronder vindt en dat werd gepubliceerd op Money and Markets, dat er geluisterd moet worden naar een miljoen demonstranten en dat de troepen naar huis moeten. Voorts wijst hij op het feit dat een VS generaal heeft gesteld dat momenteel de sjiitische milities gevaarlijker zijn voor de VS dan IS….. Daar zou ik aan toe willen voegen dat de VS in het verleden IS meerdere keren heeft geholpen aan wapens, munitie (inclusief ‘schouderraketten’) en rollend oorlogstuig…….

2020,
hoe is het in godsnaam allemaal mogelik, terwijl ook ‘ons’ kabinet weet hoe de VS keer op keer de boel belazert, alleen om maar oorlog te kunnen blijven voeren??!!! (ach ja, ook Rutte 3 zit vol met lobbyisten voor: -het militair-industrieel complex, -de VS buitenlandpoltiek (terreur), -de NAVO (terreur) en -de oliemaatschappijen (ook die hebben belang bij oorlogsvoering, immers daarmee worden de prijzen opgedreven…..)….

You wouldn’t know it
from U.S. mainstream media reporting, but on Friday an estimated
million Iraqis took to the streets to protest the continued U.S.
military presence in their country. What little mainstream media
coverage the protest received all reported the number of protesters
as far less than actually turned out. The Beltway elites are
determined that Americans not know or understand just how much our
presence in Iraq is not wanted.

The protesters were
largely supporters of nationalist Shi’ite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr,
who opposes both U.S. and Iranian presence in Iraq. Protesters held
signs demanding that the U.S. military leave Iraq and protest leaders
warned of consequences unless the U.S. listen to the Iraqi people.

After President
(Donald) Trump’s illegal and foolish assassination
of Iranian general Soleimani on Iraqi soil early this month, the
Iraqi parliament voted unanimously to cancel the agreement under
which the U.S. military remains in Iraq. But when the Iraqi prime
minister called up Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to request a
timetable for a U.S. withdrawal, Pompeo laughed in his face.

The U.S. government
answered the Iraqi parliament’s vote with a statement that the U.S.
military is a “force for good” in the Middle East and that
because of the continuing fight against ISIS U.S. troops will remain,
even where they are not wanted.

How many billions of
dollars have we sent to Iraq to help them build their democracy? Yet
as soon as a decision of Iraq’s elected parliament goes against
Washington’s wishes, the U.S. government is no longer so interested
in democracy. Do they think the Iraqis don’t notice this
double-dealing?

The pressure for the
U.S. to leave Iraq has been building within the country, but the U.S.
government and mainstream media is completely — and dangerously —
ignoring this sentiment. It’s one thing to push the neocon
propaganda that Iraqis and Iranians would be celebrating in the
streets after last month’s U.S. assassination of Iranian general
Soleimani, who was the chief strategist for the anti-ISIS operation
over the past five years. It’s a completely different thing to
believe the propaganda, especially as more than a million Iranians
mourned the popular military leader.

The Friday protesters
demanded that all U.S. bases in Iraq be closed, all security
agreements with the U.S. and with U.S. security companies be ended,
and a schedule for the exit of all U.S. forces be announced. Sadr
announced that the resistance to the U.S. troop presence in Iraq will
halt temporarily if an orderly departure is announced and
implemented. Otherwise, he said, the resistance to U.S. troops would
be activated.

A million Iraqi
protesters chanted “no, no to occupation.” The Iraqi parliament
voted for us to leave. The Iraqi prime minister asked us to leave.
Maj. Gen. Alex Grynkewich, the U.S. deputy commander in Iraq and
Syria, said last week that US.. troops in Iraq are more threatened by
Shi’ite militias than ISIS.

So, before more U.S.
troops die for nothing in Iraq, why don’t we listen to the Iraqi
people and just come home? Let the people of the Middle East solve
their own problems and let’s solve our problems at home.

Trump en
mede oorlogsmisdadiger Pompeo stelden dat generaal Qassem
Soleimani werd ‘uitgeschakeld’ (vermoord) daar hij bezig was een grote aanval
voor te bereiden op VS burgers (in het Midden-Oosten, Ap). Ron Paul
schreef in een opiniestuk (door mij overgenomen van Money and Markets) dat hij dit verhaal niet gelooft, daar Trump en de
neocons als Pompeo de laatste 3 jaar niet anders hebben gedaan dan
liegen over Iran……

Leugens
zoals die over de Iran-nucleaire-deal (JCPOA of de P5+1 nuleaire deal) waarin de Trump administratie Iran
beschuldigde toch bezig te zijn met het bouwen van een kernwapen,
terwijl dit overduidelijk niet zo was. Verder noemt Paul de leugen
dat Iran verantwoordelijk is voor de situatie in Jemen, een uiterst
schunnige leugen, die met geen flinter aan bewijs werd uitgesproken, er
zijn zelfs geen foto’s van militaire adviseurs in Jemen, bovendien
hebben de VS en Saoedi-Arabië Iran beschuldigd van wapenleveranties
aan de Houthi rebellen, ook daarvoor geen schijn aan bewijs…..
Hetzelfde geldt voor de beschuldiging dat Iran de Saoedische
olie-installaties zou hebben aangevallen, waar intussen meer dan
duidelijk is dat de Houthi rebellen de aanslagen hebben uitgevoerd,
zelfs gedeeltelijk vanaf Saoedische bodem…… Wel is er ruime bewijsvoering voor de deelname van de VS aan de genocide die de Saoedische terreurcoalitie uitvoert op de sjiitische inwoners van Jemen…….

Paul
maant de Trump administratie de troepen terug te trekken uit het
Midden-Oosten, daar militairen en burgers van de VS in het
Midden-Oosten het gevaar lopen doel te worden van Iraanse wraak,
immers Iran heeft de capaciteit niet om de VS zelf aan te
vallen…… (zo meer daarover)

Schande
dat Trump heeft aangekondigd bij acties van Iran om 52 belangrijke
culturele plekken van Iran aan te vallen, iets dat zonder meer een dreigement is met zware oorlogsmisdaden en het is dan ook te zot
voor woorden dat CDA hufter Bijleveld (‘minister’ van Defensie, of beter ‘minister’ van Oorlog) durft te zeggen dat ze achter
de VS staat en zelfs niet wil ingaan op het dreigement van Trump…..
Bijleveld had het gore lef te zeggen dat Soleimani geen heilig boontje was
en dat ze achter de moord op hem staat….. Hoe achterlijk en ongelofelijk dom kan een minister zijn??

Wie
heeft er sinds 2001 meer dan 2,5 miljoen mensen vermoord in het
Midden-Oosten, dan wel is de hoofdverantwoordelijke voor die moorden?
Juist, de VS en niet Iran!! Waar ligt de VS en waar ligt Iran? De VS
ligt duizenden kilometers verwijderd van het Midden-Oosten en heeft daar de lont in het
zelf geplaatste kruitvat aangestoken, als eerste met de illegale oorlog tegen
Afghanistan en later met de illegale oorlogen tegen Irak, Libië en
Syrië…… Iran ligt wel in het Midden-Oosten en heeft er belang
bij dat de rust weerkeert in dat deel van de wereld, rust of stabiliteit die door de VS zo grondig is verstoord….

Het niet
‘heilige boontje’ van Bijleveld, Soleimani, was één van de beste
strategen tegen IS (ISIS) en aan
hem is het dan ook te danken dat IS zo goed als op haar reet ligt,
terwijl de VS verantwoordelijk is voor het ontstaan van IS….. Dezelfde VS dat onder Obama in eerste instantie niets, of bijna niets
tegen IS heeft ondernomen, pas toen Rusland met succes en hulp van o.a.
Soleimani grote successen boekte tegen IS, kwam de VS in actie en dat
nog met tegenzin…… Het is zelfs zo dat de VS bij tijd en wijle IS  voorzag van rollend oorlogstuig, wapens en munitie (inclusief antitankraketten en ‘schouderraketten’ tegen ‘laagvliegende’ objecten…..)….

Zoals gezegd doet Paul een oproep aan de VS zich terug te trekken uit het Midden-Oosten en hij bepleit de sluiting van de VS ambassade in Bagdad, een ambassade die voor het Iraakse volk het teken is van VS agressie, die hun land zo grondig heeft vernield en waarmee de VS grote chaos heeft gecreëerd in Irak…… Chaos die tot op de dag van vandaag voortduurt*, er zijn nog steeds veel IS terroristen in Irak, dit zijn soennieten en zoals dat gebruikelijk schijnt te zijn, haten zij sjiieten…. Je kan zelfs stellen dat de illegale oorlog die de VS in 2003 tegen Irak begon, nog steeds niet voorbij is, een oorlog die intussen aan rond de 2 miljoen mensen het leven heeft gekost……

schrijven van Ron Paul en geeft het door, we worden door de reguliere
media continu voorgelogen over wat er gebeurt in het Midden-Oosten…… Mocht je denken dat alleen links problemen heeft met de grootschalige
terreur van de VS, heb je het mis, je kan Paul allesbehalve links

Ron Paul: War Lies and Why I Don’t Trust Trump on Iran

Ron Paul

President (Donald) Trump and his
Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, told us the U.S. had to assassinate
Maj. Gen. Qassim Soleimani last week because he was planning
“imminent attacks” on U.S. citizens.

I don’t believe them.

Why not? Because Trump and the
neocons — like Pompeo — have been lying about Iran for the past
three years in an effort to whip up enough support for a U.S. attack.
From the phony justification to get
out of the Iran nuclear deal, to blaming Yemen on Iran, to
blaming Iran for an attack
on Saudi oil facilities, the U.S. Administration has fed us a
steady stream of lies for three years because they are obsessed with
Iran.

And before Trump’s obsession with
attacking Iran, the past four U.S. Administrations lied ceaselessly
to bring about wars on Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, Serbia,
Somalia, and the list goes on.

At some point, when we’ve been
lied to constantly and consistently for decades about a 

“threat”
that we must “take out” with a military attack, there comes a
time where we must assume they are lying until they provide rock
solid, irrefutable proof. Thus far they have provided nothing. So I
don’t believe them.

President
Trump has warned that his administration has already targeted 52
sites important to Iran and Iranian culture and the U.S. will attack
them if Iran retaliates for the assassination of Gen. Soleimani.
Because Iran has no capacity to attack the United States, Iran’s
retaliation, if it comes, will likely come against U.S. troops or
U.S. government officials stationed or visiting the Middle East. I
have a very easy solution for President Trump that will save the
lives of American servicemembers and other U.S. officials: just come
home. 

There is absolutely no reason for U.S. troops to be stationed
throughout the Middle East to face increased risk of death for
nothing.

In our Ron Paul Liberty Report
program last week we observed that the U.S. attack on a senior
Iranian military officer on Iraqi soil — over the objection of the
Iraq government — would serve to finally unite the Iraqi factions
against the United States. And so it has: On Sunday, the Iraqi
parliament voted to expel U.S. troops from Iraqi soil. It may have
been a non-binding resolution, but there is no mistaking the
sentiment. U.S. troops are not wanted and they are increasingly in
danger. So why not listen to the Iraqi parliament?

Bring our troops home, close the
U.S. Embassy in Baghdad — a symbol of our aggression — and let
the people of the Middle East solve their own problems. Maintain a
strong defense to protect the United States, but end this neocon
pipe-dream of ruling the world from the barrel of a gun. It does not
work. It makes us poorer and more vulnerable to attack. It makes the
elites of Washington rich while leaving working and middle-class
America with the bill. It engenders hatred and a desire for revenge
among those who have fallen victim to U.S. interventionist foreign
policy. And it results in millions of innocents being killed
overseas.

There is no benefit to the United
States to trying to run the world. Such a foreign policy brings only
bankruptcy — moral and financial. Tell Congress and the
administration that for America’s sake we demand the return of U.S.
troops from the Middle East!

Warmonger Called Out on Live TV After Pretending to Care About Iranian Protesters

De FED loopt op haar laatste benen, het rentemiddel werkt niet aldus Ron Paul

Ron Paul
schreef het boek ‘End the Fed’ en het hieronder opgenomen artikel
waarin het instituut met zijn naam, het Ron Paul Institute, ingaat op
de uitspraak van Paul dat we de laatste dagen van de FED naderen…. (FED = Federal Reserve, de centrale bank van de VS)

Paul is
bepaald geen fan van de FED, zoals je wellicht al wist en hij stelt
dan ook dat de FED met haar beleid van het terugbrengen van rentes
ruimschoots heeft bewezen dat dit niet werkt, maar daar desondanks mee doorgaat… Hij stelt zelfs dat
de FED de belichaming is van een populaire definitie van waanzin:
telkens dezelfde actie nemen en dan verschillende resultaten
verwachten….. Paul betoogt dat renteverlagingen niet helpen en wijst daarbij op het beleid van de FED sinds 2008, een beleid dat geen werkelijke economische groei bewerkstelligde, of zelfs maar een nieuwe recessie kan voorkomen…….

In de EU is het niet anders, de ECB doet in feite hetzelfde als de FED en
verwacht daarvoor economische groei…… Een beleid dat niet ten dienste
staat van de grootste bevolkingsgroep in de EU, maar dat de
aandeelhouders en de grote bedrijven bevoordeelt….. De
pensioenfondsen konden voorheen op een rente van zo’n 4% rekenen en o.a. daarmee werd aan de verplichtingen voldaan, terwijl er nu pensioenfondsen zijn die al een te lage buffer hebben om te kunnen voldoen
aan haar verplichting, het beloofde pensioen uitkeren aan deelnemers….. 

Met de hervorming van het pensioenstelsel wil men deze fondsen nog meer ruimte geven om te gokken op de aandelenbeurs, de dood in de pot, daar we om de zoveel jaar met een crisis te maken hebben en deze fondsen op die momenten enorme kapitalen verliezen…….

Zelfs de banken klagen over het verlagen van de rente en zien een eventuele negatieve rente (dus dat je als spaarder de bank moet betalen voor jouw spaargeld..) als nachtmerrie en toch vervolgt men de ingeslagen doodlopende weg…….. Vergeet hierbij niet dat de banken een dubieuze rol spelen, immers zij adviseren klanten ook wat betreft de aan- en verkoop van aandelen, voorts beleggen de grote banken zelf ook in aandelen…….  

Het is

The
author of a book called “End the Fed,” Ron Paul is certainly no fan of the
Federal Reserve.

And
in his latest weekly column, Paul says we are nearing the end of days
for the U.S. central bank.

Ron Paul: We Are Witnessing the Final Days of the Fed

Per
the Ron
Paul Institute:

The
Federal Reserve, responding to concerns about the economy and the
stock market, and perhaps to criticisms by President Trump, recently
changed course on interest rates by cutting its “benchmark” rate
from 2.25% to 2%. President Trump responded to the cut in already
historically low rates by attacking the Fed for not committing to
future rate cuts.

The
Fed’s action is an example of a popular definition of insanity:
doing the same action over and over again and expecting different
results. After the 2008 market meltdown, the Fed launched an
unprecedented policy of near-zero interest rates and “quantitative
easing.” Both
failed to produce real economic growth. The latest rate cut is
unlikely to increase growth or avert a major economic crisis.


It
is not a coincidence that the Fed’s rate cut came along with
Congress passing a two-year budget deal that increases our already
$22-trillion-dollars national debt and suspends the debt ceiling. The
increase in government debt increases the pressure on the Fed to keep
interest rates artificially low so the federal government’s
interest payments do not increase to unsustainable levels.

President
Trump’s tax and regulatory policies have had some positive effects
on economic growth and job creation. However, these gains are going
to be short-lived because they cannot offset the damage caused by the
explosion in deficit spending and the Federal Reserve’s resulting
monetization of the debt. President Trump has also endangered the
global economy by imposing tariffs on imports from the US’s largest
trading partners including China. This has resulted in a trade war
that is hurting export-driven industries such as agriculture.

President
Trump recently imposed more tariffs on Chinese imports, and China
responded to the tariffs by devaluing its currency. The devaluation
lowers the price consumers pay for Chinese goods, partly offsetting
the effect of the tariffs.

The
US government responded by labeling China a currency manipulator, a
charge dripping with hypocrisy since, thanks to the dollar’s world
reserve currency status, the US is history’s greatest currency
manipulator. Another irony is that China’s action mirrors President
Trump’s continuous calls for the Federal Reserve to lower interest
rates.

While
no one can predict when or how the next economic crisis will occur,
we do know the crisis is coming unless, as seems unlikely, the Fed
stops distorting the economy by manipulating interest rates (which
are the price of money), Congress cuts spending and debt, and
President Trump declares a ceasefire in the trade war.

The
Federal Reserve’s rate cut failed to stop a drastic fall in the
stock market. This is actually good news as it shows that even Wall
Street is losing faith in the Federal Reserve’s ability to manage
the unmanageable — a monetary system based solely on fiat currency.
The erosion of trust in and respect for the Fed is also shown by the
interest in cryptocurrency and the momentum behind two initiatives
spearheaded by my Campaign for Liberty — passing the Audit the Fed
bill and passing state laws re-legalizing gold and silver as legal
tender. There is no doubt we are witnessing the last days of not just
the Federal Reserve but the entire welfare-warfare system. Those who
know the truth must do all they can to ensure that the crisis results
in a return to a constitutional republic, true free markets, sound
money and a foreign policy of peace and free trade.

VS pleegt suïcide met verhoging enorme schuldenlast

Ron
Paul, een voormalig republikeins en libertarisch lid van het
VS-congres, heeft de kat voor de zoveelste keer de bel aangebonden, al
zal dit gezien zijn tekst nog niet de laatste keer zijn dat hij dit doet, de laatste keer voor de VS
wegzakt in een diep faillissement…….

De
nationale schuld van de VS bedraagt 23 biljoen (in VS noemt men dit
een triljoen) en alsof de VS niet de wereldwijde kampioen is in de
uitgaven voor oorlogsvoering*, gaat daar de komende 2
jaar nog eens een extra bedrag naar toe van (houd je vast): 1,4
biljoen dollar en dat op een budget dat al op een niveau van meer dan
1 biljoen dollar per jaar ligt!!

Het
grootste cliché werd ook voor deze budgetverhoging gebruikt: deze
waanzinnige verhoging is nodig om de veiligheid en vrijheid van/in de
VS te garanderen…… Paul stelt volkomen terecht dat het
tegenovergestelde wordt bereikt, zo stelt hij dat de VS meer
kwetsbaar is dan ooit tevoren, zo heeft de strijd tegen ‘terreur’ in
Afrika, waar de VS in 2007 haar strijdkrachten onderbracht in
AFRICOM, sindsdien de terreur alleen maar doen groeien vanwege VS
bemoeienissen…….

Ook de
VS oorlog tegen Syrië kost de VS burger kapitalen aan belastinggeld,
terwijl de VS daar illegaal bases heeft gecreëerd en vooral bezig is
om barbaarse terreurgroepen te beschermen, geteisem dat dood en
verderf zaait onder de Syrische bevolking en maar één doel heeft:
de regering Assad wegwerken, de reden waarvoor de VS de oorlog tegen Syrië begon……

Nog een opvallende constatering van Paul, is het uit het INF-verdrag stappen van de VS, volgens hem ingegeven om met raketten die onder dit verdrag verboden waren, te kunnen stationeren op VS bases in de buurt van China….. De VS heeft dit verdrag opgezegd, daar Rusland zich niet aan dit verdrag zou houden, terwijl de VS elke uitnodiging van Rusland afwees om de bewuste raketten te inspecteren zodat men kan zien dat deze raketten het INF-verdrag niet schenden….

Juist de VS heeft dit verdrag geschonden met haar zogenaamde raketschild tegen invliegende raketten uit Iran…. ha! ha! ha! Dit ‘raketschild’ staat deels in Polen en Roemenië, waar de raketten in een mum van tijd kunnen worden voorzien van meerdere kernkoppen en als aanvalsraketten kunnen worden ingezet tegen Rusland…….

Kortom
niet alleen door de haat die de VS genereert over de wereld, maar ook
een naderend faillissement zal de VS uiteindelijk dwingen zich meer
op het eigen grondgebied te concentreren en eindelijk eens wat te
doen voor het grote arme deel van de VS bevolking……. (als in
GB lijden ook in de VS mensen, waaronder kinderen, honger….) Wellicht kan de wereld dan
eindelijk weer eens rustig ademhalen……

Het
volgende artikel over de uitlatingen van Paul werd gepubliceerd op
het rechtse platform Money and Markets, goed te merken in de
verdediging van de Tea Party. Doet m.i. in dit geval niets af aan de
boodschap van Paul.

Per
his latest blog, fiscal conservative and former Republican and
Libertarian politician and presidential candidate Ron Paul laments
the amount of money being spent by Congress, calling it “suicidal.”

Per Ron
Paul Institute:

With
a national
debt approaching $23 trillion and
a trillion dollar deficit for this year alone, Congress last week
decided to double down on suicidal spending, passing a two year
budget that has the United States careening toward catastrophe. While
we cannot say precisely when the economic crash will occur, we do
know that it is coming. And last week Congress pounded down on the
accelerator.

We
are told that the US economy is experiencing unprecedented growth,
while at the same time the Fed is behaving as it does when we are in
recession by cutting rates …and dodging insults from the President
because it’s not cutting fast enough. This is not economic policy —
it’s schizophrenia!

But
that’s only the beginning.

Take
what they call “national defense” spending. This is the misnomer
they use to try and convince us that pumping trillions into the
military-industrial complex will make us safe and free. Nothing could
be further from the truth: probably ninety percent of the “defense”
budget is aggressive militarism and welfare for the rich.

Under
this budget deal the military budget would increase to nearly $1.4
trillion for two years. Of course that’s only a fraction of real
military spending, which is, all told, well over one trillion dollars
per year.

What
do we get for this money? Are we safer? Not at all. We are more
vulnerable than ever. We spend billions fighting “terrorism” in
Africa while terrorism has actually increased since the creation of
the US Africa Command — “AFRICOM” — in 2007. Meanwhile we
continue to spend to maintain our illegal military occupation of a
large section of Syria – which benefits terrorist groups seeking to
overthrow Assad.

We’re
sending thousands more troops to the Middle East including basing US
troops in Saudi Arabia for the first time since 2003. Back then, even
neocon Paul Wolfowitz praised our departure from Saudi Arabia
because, as he rightly stated, US troops on Saudi soil was a great
recruiting tool for al-Qaeda.

Now
we’ve pulled out of the Intermediate-range Nuclear Forces (INF)
treaty so that we can deploy once-forbidden missiles on China’s
front door. A new arms race with China will mean a new boon for our
new Defense Secretary’s former colleagues at Raytheon!

Senator
Rand Paul (R-KY) pronounced the Tea Party dead with the adoption of
this budget. He’s right of course, but only when it comes to
Congress. Given the opportunity, I still believe a good part of the
American people will vote for candidates who promise to rein in the
national credit card. President Trump himself ran on a platform of
ending deficit spending and even paying off the national debt!

So
the Tea Party may be dead in Washington, but I am not convinced it
was ever really alive in Washington. With a few exceptions, most
politicians saw the Tea Party as just the flavor of the month.
Spending is what keeps Washington alive and keeps the DC suburbs
rich. They’re not about to cut back on their own.

But
the spending will end. The trillions thrown down the drain on
militarism will end. The only question is whether it will end when we
are completely bankrupt and at the mercy of countries we’ve kicked
around for decades or whether Americans will demand an end to
bipartisan addiction
to war and
spending in Washington!

Voor de zoveelste keer gaat de VS meer
troepen naar het Midden-Oosten sturen ‘als antwoord op Iraanse
agressie…’ Dit keer is Saoedi-Arabië aan de beurt waar 500 VS militairen worden gestationeerd, opvallend daar
men na 9/11 besloot VS militairen terug te trekken uit deze
reli-fascistische dictatuur (‘koninkrijk’*). Men trok deze militairen terug daar Osama
bin Laden gezegd zou hebben dat de 9/11 aanslagen werden gepleegd
vanwege de aanwezigheid van VS militairen in ‘het heilige land Saoedi-Arabië….’

De standplaats van de militairen wordt
een militair vliegveld in de buurt van Riyad waar het
plan is raketten te stationeren ter bescherming van die
luchtmachtbasis.

Het doel van de nieuwe troepenopbouw is
wel duidelijk, de VS verwacht oorlog met Iran, waar vooral Israël en
Saoedi-Arabië de VS zullen steunen, beide landen hebben aangegeven
Iran te willen vernietigen…. Het is zelfs mogelijk dat Israël op een verzonnen reden of een false flag operatie bombardementen zal uitvoeren op Iran, een aanval met raketten en/of straaljagers, waarna de VS uiteraard alle steun zal verlenen, zoals het eventueel bijtanken van straaljagers en bommenwerpers tijdens de vlucht…..

Overigens is de VS al maanden bezig haar aanwezigheid in het Midden-Oosten te vergroten en keer op keer zouden vermeende acties van Iran daar de oorzaak voor zijn……. Terwijl het juist de VS is die al sinds 1990 de stabiliteit in het Midden-Oosten ernstig heeft geschaad en nog schaadt….. Sinds het jaar 2000 heeft de VS al meer dan 2,5 miljoen mensen vermoordt in illegale oorlogen (waartoe ik ook de slachtoffers meereken van de massamoorden door de VS en haar oorlogshond NAVO gepleegd in Afghanistan en Libië…)

(ANTIWAR.COM) — After
satellite images showed facilities being prepared for them, US
officials were quoted in the media as saying that there is a plan
to send
“up to 500” US ground troops to Saudi Arabia in
response to Iran tensions.

Former
Congressman Ron
Paul commented
on the matter, both saying it accomplishes very little, and warning
that historically having US troops on the Arabian Peninsula has been
a source of anger among Islamists.

Osama
bin Laden specifically attributed his 9/11 attack to the US having
troops in his holy land. After
9/11, the US made a point of removing troops from Saudi Arabia, and
now seems to be in the process of sending them back.

The
soldiers will be sent to an area next to the Prince Sultan Airbase
east of the Saudi capital of Riyadh, where there are plans for a
large missile installation to protect the base.

With
officials trying to present this as something to do with Iran, this
is a continuation of a US military buildup across the Middle East
that has been ongoing for months, each if which ends up being
justified by some non-specific Iranian “provocation.”

Oorlogsmisdadiger
en fascistische psychopaat Pompeo, momenteel VS minister van
buitenlandse zaken, liet vorige week weten dat de sancties tegen Iran, die een
‘regime change’ moeten veroorzaken, een paar miljoen doden waard
zijn……. Precies zoals hare kwaadaardigheid en collega fascist van
de democraten Albright liet weten dat de 500.000 kinderen die in Irak
overleden ten gevolge van de VS sancties tegen dat land in de 90er jaren, het
waard zijn geweest……. Wat een enorme rotschoft moet je zijn, als
je dergelijke woorden uit de vuilbek durft te laten vallen…….

Ron
Paul, een republikein die eerder in het huis van afgevaardigden zat, heeft gehakt gemaakt van de uitspraak die Pompeo deed voor de BBC. Met een aantal vragen geeft hij precies aan waar de
schoen wringt en godzijdank noemt hij de ‘situatie’ in Jemen bij de
naam: een genocide die uitgevoerd wordt door (met een toevoeging van mij) de
Saoedische terreurcoalitie, militair gesteund door de VS….. Een genocide waar de Trump
administratie geen seconde van wakker ligt, nee men gaat de Houthi’s
die hun burgers proberen te beschermen tegen de terreur van die
coalitie, aanmerken als terroristen…..*

De
redactie van Money and Markets die een artikel publiceerde geschreven door J.T.
Crowe (die ook verantwoordelijk is voor het volgende) over de woorden van Paul, was zo laf om nog even te
refereren aan de woorden van de hoogste leider in Iran, waarin deze de
VS dreigt met oorlog…… Ofwel Paul kan wel wat zeggen, maar Iran
dreigt zelf met oorlog….. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Alsof zo’n dreiging
ook maar een moment serieus is te nemen, dan nog: de VS voert al een
economische oorlog tegen Iran, dat is voor de hele wereld wel
duidelijk en je weet het >> wie de bal kaatst……..

Terecht
trekt Paul een vergelijking tussen de VS en Iran, waar Iran niet het
ene na het andere land in puin gooit in illegaal begonnen
oorlogen….. Niet Iran maar de VS steunt de genocide in Jemen en
Iran vecht niet in Jemen, zoals de VS wel doet…….. Niet Iran
organiseert opstanden elders, maar de VS…… Over de zogenaamde
terreur die Iran zou steunen: als er één land is op de wereld dat
daadwerkelijk overal en nergens terreur zaait, is het de VS wel, de VS de
grootste terreurentiteit op aarde, met intussen een onafzienbaar aantal oorlogsmisdaden op haar naam….**

Libertarian and Republican Congressman Ron Paul is asking a question
in his weekly column about the Trump administration’s
‘neoconservative’ policy regarding how to handle the situation
with Iran: Is it normal?

Some
context, per the Ron
Paul Institute:

It’s
not often that US Government officials are honest when they talk
about our foreign policy. The unprovoked 2003 attack on Iraq was
called a “liberation.” The 2011 US-led destruction of Libya was a
“humanitarian intervention.” And so on.

So,
in a way, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was refreshingly honest last
week when, speaking about newly-imposed US sanctions, he told the BBC
that the Iranian leadership “has to make a decision that they want
their people to eat.” It was an honest admission that new US
sanctions are designed to starve Iranians unless the Iranian
leadership accepts US demands.

His
statement also reveals the lengths to which the neocons are willing
to go to get their “regime change” in Iran. Just like
then-Secretary of State Madeleine Albright said it was “worth it”
that half a million Iraqi children died because of our sanctions on
that country, Pompeo is letting us know that a few million dead
Iranians is also “worth it” if the government in Tehran can be
overthrown.

Paul
notes that the U.S. Secretary of State has demanded that Iran “act
like a normal country.” Iran
essentially threatened war against the U.S. over
the sanctions, but does that mean the citizens of Iran have to
suffer, Paul asks, and is that normal?

Is
it normal to threaten millions of people with starvation if their
leaders refuse to bow down to US demands? Is the neoconservative
obsession with regime change “normal” behavior? Is training and
arming al-Qaeda in Syria to overthrow Assad “normal” behavior? If
so, then perhaps Washington’s neocons have a point. As Iran is not
imposing sanctions, is not invading its neighbors, is not threatening
to starve millions of Americans unless Washington is
“regime-changed,” perhaps Iran is not acting “normal.”

It
all depends on what your definition of “normal” is, Paul says.

The
continued Saudi genocide in Yemen does not bother Washington a bit.
In fact, Saudi aggression in Yemen is viewed as just another
opportunity to strike out at Iran. By making phony claims that
Yemen’s Houthis are “Iran-backed,” the US government justifies
literally handing the Saudis the bombs to drop on Yemeni school buses
while claiming it is fighting Iranian-backed terrorism! Is that
“normal”?

Millions
of Yemenis face starvation after three years of Saudi attacks have
destroyed the economy and a Saudi blockade prohibits aid from
reaching the suffering victims, but Secretary Pompeo recently blamed
Yemeni starvation on, you guessed it: Iran!

And
in a shocking display of cynicism, the US government is reportedly
considering listing Yemen’s Houthis as a “terrorist”
organization for the “crime” of fighting back against Saudi (and
US) aggression. Labeling the Yemeni resistance a “terrorist”
organization would effectively “legalize” the ongoing Saudi
destruction of Yemen, as it could be justified as just another battle
in the “war on terror.” It would also falsely identify the real
culprits in the Yemen tragedy as Iran, which is repeatedly and
falsely called the “number one sponsor of terrorism” by Pompeo
and the rest of the Trump Administration neocons.

So
yes, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo told one wicked truth last week.
But before he demands that countries like Iran start acting “normal”
or face starvation, perhaps he should look in the mirror. Are Pompeo
and the neocons “normal”? I don’t think so.

Waarschijnlijk
om het volk te laten zien dat hij niets met Rusland heeft en zelfs
geneigd is Rusland aan te vallen, heeft psychopaat Trump, samen met
zijn militaire adviseurs (die hij bijna continu rond zich heeft)
besloten een raketsysteem in Duitsland te stationeren, zodat de VS
niet alleen raketten heeft in Roemenië en Polen…….

De
raketten die in Roemenië en Polen staan maken zogenaamd onderdeel uit
van een raketschild tegen Iran, echter deze raketten staan zo dicht op
de Russische grens, dat Rusland moeite zal hebben ze te
onderscheppen, mocht de VS ze op Rusland afschieten……. 

Je dacht waarschijnlijk dat het hier alleen gaat om antiraketsystemen, echter dat is maar ten dele waar,
deze raketten kunnen in een mum van tijd van (nucleaire) kernkoppen
worden voorzien en dan (uiteraard) als aanvalsraketten worden
ingezet……. Het zou me verbazen als de raketten in Polen en Roemenië al niet zijn uitgerust met kernkoppen….

Mensen,
dat was het nog niet, generaal Scaparrotti heeft ook weer van zich
laten horen en hij stelt dat er veel meer troepen naar Europa moeten,
zelfs troepen die (zogenaamd) terreur bestrijden in het Midden-Oosten, zouden in Europa moeten worden gestationeerd, aldus de oorlogshitser en grootlobbyist van het militair-industrieel complex…..

Ach
ja, de VS heeft ‘slechts’ 60.000 militairen in Europa, althans als
dat er intussen al niet veel meer zijn, immers het Pentagon heeft
carte blanche gekregen van Trump voor het naar eigen inzicht opvoeren
van troepensterkte…… Daarnaast heeft de VS meer dan 300 militaire bases rond een groot deel van Rusland en China……

Oplichter
Scaparrotti stelt dat die troepen nodig zijn om de Russen het hoofd te
bieden, echter van Russische agressie in Europa is geen sprake,
althans als je de leugens van de NAVO, de meeste EU politici en de
reguliere media niet meerekent, geteisem dat de leugens volhoudt dat
De Krim is geannexeerd en dat de Russen in Oost-Oekraïne
zitten…….

De
werkelijke agressor is de VS, dat de NAVO tegen de grens van Rusland
heeft gedrukt, dit is tegen de begin 90er jaren gemaakte afspraken met Sovjet-president Gorbatsjov……. De opstand die in Kiev startte was
voorbereid en werd geregisseerd door de VS, die daarna de Porosjenko
junta installeerde…… Hillary Clinton, destijds minister van Buitenlandse Zaken, is hier één op één verantwoordelijk voor, de hele ‘grap’ (een
enorme oorlogsmisdaad!) heeft de VS maar liefst 4 miljard dollar
gekost…..

Het
is dan ook overduidelijk dat de VS van zins is Rusland aan te vallen,
dan wel de spanningen dermate hoog op te schroeven dat het
militair-industrieel complex op volle toeren kan gaan draaien……
Tja er kan altijd nog een ferme schep bovenop, nietwaar?

Daarover gesproken, de VS ‘ambassadeur’ in ons land, Pete Hoekstra liet bij BNR weten (o.a. in het nieuws van 7.30 u. vanmorgen) dat Nederland zich agressiever moet opstellen tegenover Rusland, dit n.a.v. het neerhalen van vlucht MH17….. Nederland moet zich in de EU harder opstellen en pleiten voor zwaardere sancties tegen Rusland, daarbij verwacht Hoekstra dat de VS Nederland zal steunen….. Nog een uitspraak van Hoekstra, daar komt ‘ie: Nederland moet zorgen dat het North Stream (NS2) project, een pijpleiding vanuit Rusland naar Duitsland (en Nederland) wordt afgeblazen…… ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!

Met dat laatste komt de aap uit de mouw: zodat de EU zich afhankelijk maakt van het zwaar gesubsidieerde en voor ons peperdure (LNG) gas uit de VS, gas dat veelal is verkregen uit schaliegaswinning, ofwel gas dat middels enorme milieuschade is gewonnen en middels smerige tankertransporten over de Atlantische Oceaan naar de EU wordt vervoerd…….. Wat een vuile oplichter die Hoekstra!!

Military Set to Deploy Powerful Anti-Missile Shield in Germany

(ZHE) — The
United States is looking to establish a powerful missile shield in
Germany in a potential move that would further inflame tensions with
both Moscow and Tehran.

Though
NATO has long insisted that its missile defense systems are not
directed at Russia, the Kremlin has repeatedly condemned what it sees
as NATO
encroachment in Eastern Europe,
especially after countries like Romania — which is not engaged
in any ongoing conflict with Russia — have recently
installed their
own US-supplied ballistic missile systems, with renewed multi-billion
dollar Patriot missile expansions to follow.

And
former Warsaw Pact turned NATO member Poland in late 2017 struck
a $10.5
billion missile defense deal with the US.
Also supposedly neutral non-NATO Sweden, which lies close to Russia’s
western and northern borders, last year inked
a $1 billion deal with the US for
the advanced Patriot surface-to-air missile defense system.

So
what are now reported as preliminary
US military and German discussions about boosting European defenses
with the proposed Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD)
system in
Germany will no doubt be interpreted as more of the same unnecessary
expansive NATO spending and encroachment on Russia’s borders.

The
talks further come as Europe and the US are at odds over the fate of
the Iran nuclear agreement, with Washington threatening severe
economic punishment for those countries trying to stick it out
through opening trade and energy ties with Iran.

Close
US Middle East ally Saudi Arabia, for example, shocked the world when
news emerged last week that it has ceased
awarding government contracts to German companies over
anger at both Germany staying by the Obama-brokered JCPOA and recent
criticism of Saudi meddling in Lebanese politics by German officials.

The
Pentagon has denied plans to install the advanced THAAD system in
Germany; however, Reuters reports that
US European Command is pushing it in the wake of the White House
pullout from the Iran nuclear deal:

U.S.
European Command has been pushing for a THAAD system in Europe for
years, but the
U.S. withdrawal from the Iran nuclear accord has added urgency to the
issue,
said Riki Ellison, head of the non-profit Missile Defense Advocacy
Alliance.

A
senior German military official cited the need to add more radars
across Europe to
better track and monitor potential threats, and cue interceptors if
needed.

For
Pentagon planners, it is Iran’s Shahab
3 ballistic missiles that
are of most concern in terms of European threat assessment, as they
currently have a
range of 2,000 kilometers, enough to reach southern Europe.

Iran
has considered increasing the range which it is said to be
technologically capable of, but reportedly saw no strategic need in
the wake of the 2015 nuclear agreement, which is now hanging by a
thread.

It
appears German military leaders may be capitalizing
on current US fear-mongering related to the “Iran threat” pushed
by the White House:
“Deploying another U.S. defensive system to Europe could
reassure NATO allies in southern Europe already within striking range
of Iran’s missiles,
said one military official from that region,” according to Reuters,
which further quoted a second source as saying “German
officials were open to the move as a way to better protect civilian
populations.”

As Reuters reports
further, the proposed German THAAD system is set for Pentagon review,
so we could get news of what would be another multi-billion dollar
defense deal for the heart of Europe by
the end of summer:

The
issue may be raised in a new Pentagon missile defense review expected
in early June. The review may draw a closer connection between
missile defense and a
need to deter Russia that was highlighted in the new U.S. national
defense strategy,
said Tom Karako, senior fellow at the Center for Strategic and
International Studies (CSIS).

One
proposed site for the THAAD system is Ramstein Air Force Base, home
to the headquarters for the U.S. Air Force in Europe and NATO Allied
Air Command.

Meanwhile,
the THAAD system is built by… who
else?… you guessed it… “Lockheed
Martin Corp with a powerful Raytheon Co AN/TPY-2 radar,
to shootdown short-, medium-, and intermediate-range ballistic
missiles” — and both  companies are looking to catch
the multi-billion dollar windfall.

Commander of the Europe Command, Gen. Curtis M. Scaparrotti, has
called for thousands more US troops to “deter Russian aggression”
in Europe.

He
has even suggested that the US troops should be pulled off of
counter-terrorism duty and sent to Europe. Meanwhile, the Pentagon
announced a massive shipment of military equipment to Europe,
including tanks and other tracked vehicles. Do US military officials
really believe that Russia is about to invade western Europe? Are we
back in the 1940s?

is Washington’s military-industrial complex looking for new ways to

Terwijl
de reguliere westerse media en de meeste westerse politici hun gal
spuwen over de ‘gifgasaanval’ in het Syrische Douma, zijn er
gelukkig nog een aantal deskundigen die grote vraagtekens zetten bij
het kulverhaal dat een winnend Syrisch leger alsnog haar eigen
bevolking zou hebben vergast…..

Naast
Ron Paul, voormalig lid van het VS Huis van Afgevaardigden, die het
hele verhaal afdoet als nonsens, heeft ook voormalig Britse marine
generaal Alan West grote vraagtekens gezet bij het verhaal over deze
gifgasaanval.

West
noemt het militair totaal onlogisch, terwijl hij stelt dat wanneer
hij de terreurgroepen van advies moest dienen, hij hen zou adviseren
een gifgasaanval op de bevolking uit te voeren, deze groepen hebben
immers al lang aangetoond lak te hebben aan burgerslachtoffers…..

Bij
Sky News vroeg men de voormalige commandant van de Britse
strijdkrachten in Irak, generaal Jonathan Shaw naar de gifgasaanval. Ook hij stelde dat het
onlogisch was voor een winnend leger om gifgas in te zetten, daar het
Syrisch leger in feite de strijd al had gewonnen. Hij gaf daarbij de
woorden weer van generaal Vogel, hoofd van CENTCOM, die voor het VS Congress stelde dat de VS moet accepteren dat het Syrische leger de
strijd heeft gewonnen……

Hij haalde ook Trump aan, die een week eerder had gesteld dat ISIS
overwonnen was en hij de troepen terug wilde roepen, waarna er ‘toevallig’ een chemische aanval plaats vond (vrij vertaald).

Voordat
hij z’n verhaal kon afmaken, werd het gesprek afgekapt, had hij zich maar
aan het script moeten houden, het script dat Assad als dader aanwijst en waarin ‘ongelofelijk genoeg’ het grootste deel van de westerse wereld gelooft, na te zijn gehersenspoeld door de reguliere westerse (massa-) media en het grootste deel van de westerse politici, die maar geen genoeg kunnen krijgen van het spuien van gal over deze ‘gifgasaanval……’ 

Voorts moet niet vergeten worden dat de ‘gematigde rebellen’ (lees: psychopathische moordenaars, verkrachters en martelbeulen) in het bezit zijn van voorraden gifgas. Algemeen bekend maar geen probleem voor de anti-Assad, anti-Russische en anti-Iraanse propagandisten in het westen (de voornoemde media en politici, aangevuld met ‘deskundige opiniemakers’, allen lobbyisten van het militair-industrieel complex)…….

chomping at the bit to “unleash hell” on Assad and Syria, there
are some that are willing to question the “Assad
chemically attacked his own people and needs to be
punished” narrative.

Liberty

at the idea of Assad gassing his own people…

Paul thinks
its “nonsense”…

“The
way the people that perpetuate these false flags [sic] say that Assad
is gassing his own people, at the same time, he’s
winning the war and the people are flocking back in to go to the
territories that he has returned to the government of
Syria,” explained
Paul.

“But,
nevertheless, he’s out there gassing his own people, which
makes no sense whatsoever and fewer and fewer people are believing
this.”

“This
whole idea that all of a sudden Assad’s gassing his own people, I
think, is total nonsense.”

And RT
spoke about
the Russian claims with Lord
Alan West, a retired officer of the British Royal Navy. He
said he had strong reservations about taking allegations against
Damascus at face value, because it didn’t make much military sense.

“It
seems to be utterly ludicrous for the military that is in the process
of taking over an area to go and do something with chemical weapons,
which will draw the wrath of the larger enemy down upon them,”
he said.

“If
I was advising the opponents of [Syrian President Bashar] Assad, I
would be delighted to kill a few people there. Let’s face it, [the
insurgents] don’t care if they kill women and children.”

“I
am not willing to accept tweets. We need to see incontrovertible
truth about what has happened there and make a decision on that
basis,”
he added.

But,
to confirm the fact that the
propaganda-pushed ‘Assad-is-bad’ narrative is all that is
allowed, when
General Jonathan Shaw, the former Commander of British Armed Forces
in Iraq, dares to go ‘off script’ while being interviewed by Sky
News, he is abruptly cut off…

Here’s
what General Shaw was saying before he was so rudely interrupted…

“…the
debate that seems to be missing from all this –
and this was mentioned by the [Russian] ambassador – is what
possible motive might Syria have to launch a chemical attack at this
time and in this place…

The
Syrians are winning, don’t
take my word for it, take the American military’s word for
it. General
Vogel, the head of CENTCOM, said to Congress the other
day that ‘Assad
has won this war and we need to face that’,
and the tweet by Trump last week that ‘America
had finished with ISIS and were going to pull out very soon’…and
then suddenly you get these accusations of a chemical attack…”

CUT
OFF…

The
message is clear – stick
to the script, or get cut off!

15 jaar
geleden begon de regering van George W. Bush de oorlog tegen Irak.
Geheel op leugens gebaseerd was dit de aanzet tot een illegale oorlog
die intussen aan meer dan 1,5 miljoen burgers het leven heeft gekost.

Deze
oorlog was niet mogelijk geweest, als de reguliere (massa-) media
niet de leugens van de Bush administratie hadden overgenomen en dat op de
voorpagina’s en prominent in nieuws en actualiteiten uitzendingen, of dat nu op de
radio of tv was. De term ‘fake news’ bestond destijds nog niet, maar
werd wel degelijk op grote schaal gemaakt door de hiervoor genoemde
media. Vergeet niet dat meerdere deskundigen en wapeninspecteurs van
de VN, zoals Blix, keer op keer stelden dat Irak niet meer in het
bezit was van massavernietigingswapens…….

Het
volgende artikel gaat Ron Paul dieper in op alle gevolgen van
deze illegale oorlog die de VS 15 jaar geleden begon. Voorts noemt
hij het huidige tromgeroffel o.l.v. De VS tegen Noord-Korea, waar
senator Graham een paar dagen geleden stelde dat een paar miljoen
doden geen probleem zijn, als met een oorlog tegen dit land ‘stabiliteit’ in de regio wordt bereikt………..

Jammer
dat Paul niet alle andere oorlogsdreigingen van VS en NAVO zijde noemt, zoals een dreigende oorlog tegen Syrië, Iran en Libanon (deze o.l.v. Israël met steun van de VS), waar
nog Oekraïne aan toegevoegd kan worden, daar de VS daar niet alleen
meer ‘militaire adviseurs’, maar ook zware wapens levert aan dit intussen zo
goed als failliete land. Dit nog buiten alle militaire oefeningen
langs de Russische grens, waar de VS in feite oefent op een oorlog
tegen Rusland……. 

Hetzelfde geldt voor China, waar de VS dit land voor een groot deel heeft omringd met militaire bases en waar de Trump administratie dit land meer en meer met militair geweld bedreigt (zoals over de eilandjes die China claimt in de Zuid-Chinese Zee…)…….

Paul: 15 Years After the US Invaded Iraq, It’s Time to Listen to
the Iraqi People

(RPI Op-ed) — This
month marks the 15th anniversary of the US war on Iraq. The “shock
and awe” attack was launched based on “stove-piped”
intelligence fed from the CIA and Pentagon through an uncritical and
compliant US mainstream media. The US media was a willing accomplice
to this crime of aggression committed by the George W. Bush
Administration.

Despite
the lies we were constantly bombarded with, Iraq never presented a
threat to the United States. Iraq never had the weapons of mass
destruction that the neocons used to frighten Americans into
supporting the war. How many of them knew all along that there were
no WMDs? We’ll never know. Attacking Iraq and overthrowing its
leader was long a plan in the neocon playbook and they used the 9/11
attack on the US as an excuse to pull the plan off the shelf and put
it into action.

The
US “regime change” war on Iraq has directly resulted in the death
of at least a quarter of a million civilians, and indirectly perhaps
a million Iraqis have been killed. The Iraqi infrastructure was
destroyed and the country was set back many decades in development.
Far from the democratization we were promised, Iraq has been turned
into a hell on earth. Due to the US use of depleted uranium and other
chemical weapons like white phosphorus, Iraqis will continue to
suffer from birth defects and other related illnesses for
generations.

How
did we get there? War propaganda was essential in paving the way for
the Iraq war. Americans are generally skeptical about launching new
wars, so it takes a steady media bombardment about the alleged
depravities of any targeted regime before public opinion begins to
shift in favor of war.

Because
the neocons who helped launch the war have never had to face the
consequences of their actions, they continue to promote war with
impunity. Just this past week, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) was pushing
for a US attack on North Korea in which millions may be killed. He
said this weekend, “All the damage that would come from a war would
be worth it in terms of long-term stability and national security.”
That’s just what they said before the US attacked Iraq, and how did
that turn out? I find it disgusting that the media continues to give
airtime almost exclusively to those who promote more US disasters
like Iraq.

The
Iraqi parliament did something extraordinary last week. A majority of
elected Iraqi representatives voted to demand that their prime
minister draw up a timetable for the withdrawal of US troops from the
country. President Obama had withdrawn US troops from Iraq in 2011,
after a status of forces agreement could not be reached with the
Iraqi government, but he returned the US military to Iraq under the
auspices of fighting ISIS.

We
had no business going into Iraq in the first place and we have no
business remaining in Iraq. Al-Qaeda and ISIS emerged in Iraq because
our attack and occupation of the country 15 years ago created fertile
fields for extremism. Nothing will be achieved if we remain. Let’s
listen to the Iraqis and just come home!

dan lobbyen in Washington, waar deze organisatie godbetert zelfs lobbyisten in de politiek heeft! (dat is zonder meer misdadig, al zal u daar waarschijnlijk anders over denken)

Voorts
kan ik me wel vinden in wat u zegt over psychofarmaca, meneer Paul,
maar ook hier vergeet u een belangrijk component: de uitzichtloze
armoede van vele miljoenen in de VS, een motor voor psychische ellende en misdaad! 

Meneer Paul, u haalt de FBI aan, die wist welk gevaar de schutter vormde, maar haar werk niet heeft gedaan, inderdaad schandalig (maar bepaald niet op zichzelf staand). Over een ‘veiligheids-overheidsorgaan’ gesproken: in uw ‘land’, de VS heb je ook nog de ‘trigger happy’ politie, voor wie de kleur van een persoon leidend is in wel of niet schieten >> een slechter voorbeeld kan je als ‘volk’ niet wensen…………

Uw overheid is voor het grootste deel van de VS bevolking totaal onbetrouwbaar en kiest keer op keer voor de welgestelden en het (grote) bedrijfsleven, ook dit kan leiden tot grote frustraties, die op den duur in geweld kunnen uitmonden…..

Tot
slot wil ik u het volgende voorleggen meneer Paul: bij elke eigenaar
van wapens, sterker nog, bij ieder van ons, met wie psychisch tot op heden niets aan de hand is, kunnen morgen de
stoppen doorslaan, door een verbod op wapenbezit kan je ten minste
voorkomen, dat deze personen een wapen binnen handbereik
hebben…… Nogmaals, zie de voorbeelden in het buitenland!

Paul: Gun Control Won’t Solve the Problem — Let’s Look Beyond

(RPI) — Another
terrible school shooting took place in Parkland, Florida last week
and unfortunately many politicians and pundits have used the tragedy
– as they often do – to push their own agenda.

Many
will use the tragedy to argue that Americans should be prohibited
from owning guns. As if anti-gun laws would dissuade a disturbed or
violent individual intent on causing harm. Those intent on mass
murder don’t obey gun laws.

It’s
unfortunate that while many are quick to demand that guns be taken
away from peaceful Americans, they don’t seem to have much to say
about guns when they’re in the hands of government authorities
shooting innocent people. If we need any gun control, it is to get
control of the guns in the hands of thousands of government employees
who use them against innocent people with impunity.

For
example, why do those calling for more gun control remain silent when
armed federal agents raid Amish farms to stop them from selling raw
milk? This shows the hypocrisy of those who call for restrictions on
private firearms ownership while supporting the use of government
violence as a means of controlling our lives.

Unfortunately
there are many key questions lost in the race to score political
points from the shooting.

Why
does it always seem that the shooter in these mass killings has been
on some kind of psychotropic drugs? As the New American magazine
pointed out this week, at least ten high profile mass shootings have
been committed by individuals who “were either on — or just
recently coming off of — psychiatric medications.” The young
killer in Florida was no different. According to his aunt, he had
been on these medications to treat mental problems.

Why
is no one questioning these medications – all of which come with
labels warning of horrific side effects? Perhaps one reason they are
ignored is that the pharmaceutical industry spends billions of
dollars lobbying Congress.

Also,
how is it possible that the FBI once again missed so many obvious
clues that a violent person intent on causing massive harm to others
was about to strike? Is the FBI actually this incompetent, or perhaps
its focus was in other areas — like meddling in our own elections
by presenting “evidence” they knew was flawed to the FISA court
to get permission to spy on the Trump campaign?

We’ve
heard many stories of how alert FBI field agents tried to alert their
bosses before 9/11 that foreigners were taking flight lessons but
were not interested in learning how to land the planes.

Is
giving the federal government more power to spy on us – as they
demand – the answer to stop these terrible crimes? Hardly!

Those
who think that giving federal authorities greater surveillance powers
might prevent mass shootings should consider that the FBI has been
alerted that the latest school shooter had made Facebook posts and
YouTube comments talking about his intention to be, as he put it, “a
professional school shooter.” But the Bureau failed to properly
investigate the tips. If the FBI fails to stop someone who openly
boasts about their intentions on social media why should we believe
that giving them the power to snoop on every American would increase
our safety?

We
cannot stop tragedies like this by banning guns. We need to look
seriously into the psychotropic drugs that more and more Americans
are being prescribed. We need to demand that our elected
Representatives demand a real day of reckoning at the FBI. We need to
keep focused and ignore those who politicize such events.
