Marcel Urlings, ex-bevelhebber landstrijdkrachten, zaait angst middels leugens over Rusland. ‘Toevallig’ vlak voor de verkiezingen….

De Adviesraad Internationale Vraagstukken (AIV), een orgaan afgeladen met oorlogshitsers en lobbyisten van het militair-industrieel complex, maakte ‘toevallig vlak voor de verkiezingen’ bekend, dat het Nederlandse leger er slechter voorstaat dan de regering Rutte 2 ons wil laten geloven……. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Nog slechter dan de regering ons wil laten geloven, zal de AIV bedoelen!

Er gaat de laatste jaren bijna geen week voorbij, zonder dat hoge (ex-) militairen, opiniemakers (zogenaamde deskundigen, die altijd pleiten voor grotere budgetten t.b.v. leger, geheime diensten en de politie) en andere ‘deskundigen’ het Nederlandse volk proberen wijs te maken, dat het Nederlandse leger op sterven na dood is…… Ook is de veiligheidssituatie dusdanig ernstig, dat er gigantisch veel meer moet worden uitgegeven aan defensie….. Uiteraard wordt daar vervolgens gewezen op de vele gevaren die ons omringen, zoals die uit Iran, Noord-Korea en Rusland……

Vandaag was het de beurt aan generaal-majoor b.d. Urlings, die in Kots Kamerbreed (Radio1), de luisteraar middels een enorm aantal leugens probeerde bang te maken, zodat deze mensen gaan stemmen op een partij die dik meer geld wil uitgeven aan defensie.

Urlings is lid van de AIV, vandaar dat hij mocht lobbyen voor het militair-industrieel complex. Met een ongelofelijk aantal dooddoeners, kon Urlings zonder enige kritiek zijn leugens kwijt. Zo stelde deze kwast met de koperen fluit, dat ‘je veiligheid niet op een koopje krijgt…..’

Zonder enige tegenwerping van presentatoren van der Weij en de Bie*, die toch minstens ter voorbereiding de laatste Sipri (Stockholm International Peace Research Institute) cijfers paraat hadden kunnen hebben, lepelde Urlings op dat Rusland jaarlijks 700 miljard uitgeeft aan defensie……. Dit is geen vergissing maar een bewuste keiharde leugen, het bedrag komt niet eens in de buurt. Volgens Sipri gaf Rusland in 2015: 66,4 miljard dollar uit aan defensie!!

Het ‘land’ dat in 2015 nog enigszins in de buurt kwam van het bedrag aan ‘defensie’ (lees:oorlogvoering) uitgaven dat Urlings noemde, is de VS, dat in 2015 het ‘lieve bedrag’ van 596 miljard dollar uitgaf…….. De EU landen (en NAVO leden) Duitsland, Frankrijk, Groot-Brittannië en Italië gaven in 2015 samen al 2 keer meer uit aan defensie, dan Rusland. Zoals u kon lezen, gaf de VS zelfs meer dan 8 keer zoveel uit dan Rusland……..

Het cliché dat het materiaal moet worden ‘gekannibaliseerd’, voor er op missie kan worden gegaan, kwam nog eens voorbij….. Ook zou men voor een missie overal en nergens personeel vandaan moet slepen, zodat Nederland niet meer verdedigd kan worden…….. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!

En wat moeten wij in landen als Mali? Welnu dat is simpel: volgens Urlings is dat voor onze veiligheid……. ha! ha! ha! ha! De smerige leugenaar! We zitten in Mali, daar Nederland zo nodig de illegale oorlog tegen Libië moest steunen, niet alleen politiek, maar ook met F16’s, die volgens figuren als Urlings bijna wekelijks uit de lucht vallen (niets van waar, maar ‘t klinkt goed hè??). Met onze steun werd dit rijkste land van Afrika 60 jaar in tijd is teruggebombardeerd en is het nu één van de armste Afrikaanse landen, dat daarnaast volkomen in chaos is gedompeld……

Het is zeker dat met die illegale oorlog van het westen tegen Libië een fiks aantal terroristen is gecreëerd. Dat geldt verder voor de illegale oorlogen tegen Afghanistan, Irak en Syrië, illegale oorlogen die ook op de steun van Nederland konden en kunnen rekenen…….. Dat is onveiligheid creëren i.p.v. veiligheid waarborgen! En dat alles in landen waar we geen bliksem te zoeken hebben. Al die missies hebben miljarden gekost, bedragen die deels niet eens van het defensiebudget worden betaald!!

Het aanvallen van landen waar we niets te zoeken hebben, brengt onze veiligheid in gevaar, Urlings verdraait de zaken bewust, als een echte oorlogshitser en grootlobbyist van het militair-industrieel complex…….

U begrijpt natuurlijk, dat Rusland niet onbesproken bleef: volgens Urlings zijn de Russen De Krim en Oost-Oekraïne binnengevallen. Alweer een leugen van enorme proporties. De Krim sloot zich, na een door internationale waarnemers als eerlijk en goed beoordeeld referendum, aan bij Rusland, waarbij ook de oorspronkelijke bevolking massaal voor aansluiting koos!! Voor de claim dat Rusland Oost-Oekraïne zou zijn binnengevallen, is nog niet een nanometer bewijs! Sterker nog: als Rusland dit zou hebben gedaan, was Oekraïne allang bevrijd van de uiterst corrupte Porosjenko neonazi-junta……

Juist de VS met de NAVO aan de hand spelen met vuur langs de Russische grens**, een grens waar de NAVO in 1991 nog over beloofde, ver van te blijven, er zou geen NAVO-uitbreiding richting Moskou plaatsvinden…… U hoort er weinig over in de reguliere pers, maar langs de Russische grens vindt de ene grootscheepse NAVO oefening na de andere plaats (ook een enorme kostenpost)…….

Daarover gesproken: volgens Urlings oefent Rusland op een kernoorlog…….. Dan de waarheid achter deze uitlating: de VS en daarna Groot-Brittannië, hebben vorig jaar te kennen gegeven, dat het atoomwapen niet langer gezien wordt als afschrikkingswapen, maar als (eerste) aanvalswapen!! Nadat dit gebeurde, stelde Rusland bij een aanval van het westen met kernwapens, niet op haar handen te zullen blijven zitten. Dit werd door de westerse reguliere (afhankelijke) media en de politiek hysterisch neergezet als een bewijs voor de kwade bedoelingen van Rusland…….. De NAVO oefent langs de Russische grens allang op een nucleaire oorlog met Rusland. Logisch dat de Russen dit zelf ook zijn gaan doen………

Hoe is het mogelijk, dat leugenaar Urlings zo, zonder enige kritiek, het volk mag voorliegen en angst aanjagen??? Schandalig en wat mij betreft, ronduit misdadig!!

VS drone aanvallen, ofwel standrechtelijke executies (moord) onder Trump met meer dan 400% gestegen………

De VS aanvallen met drones, onder president Obama verworden tot bijna dagelijkse praktijk, zijn onder, de korte tijd dat het beest Trump aan het bewind is, met 432% gestegen, zo berichtte Anti-Media gisteren.

Nobelprijs voor de Vrede winnaar Obama voerde al 10 keer meer drone aanvallen uit, dan onder president George W. Bush werden uitgevoerd, dezelfde Bush die e.e.a. introduceerde……..

Uit onderzoek is duidelijk geworden dat meer dan 90% van de slachtoffers die bij deze aanvallen worden vermoord, omstanders zijn, die niet eens verdacht worden door de VS!! U snapt het al, inclusief vrouwen en kinderen……. Dat ‘verdacht’ gaf ik in vet weer, daar de doelen nog altijd verdachten zijn, dus niet door een rechter veroordeelde personen……. Deze vorm van terreur wordt dan ook ‘standrechtelijke executie’ genoemd……….

Overigens uitermate vreemd en schandalig, dat politici als Koenders deze standrechtelijke executies, zoals gezegd een ernstige vorm van terreur, nooit veroordelen. Kijk als Rusland hetzelfde zou doen, waren Koenders rapen allang gaar geweest……..

U.S. Drone Strikes Have Gone Up 432% Since Trump Took Office

(ANTIMEDIA) When
he was in office, former President Barack Obama earned the ire of
anti-war activists for his expansion of Bush’s drone wars. The
Nobel Peace Prize-winning head of state ordered ten
times more drone strikes than
the previous president, and estimates late
in Obama’s presidency showed 49 out of 50 victims were civilians.
In 2015, it was reported that up to 90%
of drone casualties were
not the intended targets.

Current
President Donald Trump campaigned on a less interventionist foreign
policy, claiming to be opposed to nation-building and misguided
invasions. But less than two months into his presidency, Trump has
expanded the drone strikes that plagued Obama’s “peaceful”
presidency.

According
to an analysis from
Micah Zenko, an analyst with the Council on Foreign Relations, Trump
has markedly increased U.S. drone strikes since taking office. Zenko,
who reported earlier
this year on the over 26,000 bombs Obama dropped in 2016, summarized
the increase:

“During
President Obama’s two terms in office, he
approved 542 such
targeted strikes in 2,920 days—one every 5.4 days. From his
inauguration through today, President Trump had approved at least 36
drone strikes or raids in 45 days—one every 1.25 days.”

That’s
an increase of 432 percent.

He
highlights some of the attacks:

“These
include three
drone strikes in Yemen on January 20, 21, and 22;
the January
28 Navy SEAL raid in Yemen; one
reported strike in Pakistan on March 1; more
than thirty strikes in Yemen on
March 2 and 3; and at
least one more on March 6.”

The
Trump administration has provided little acknowledgment of the human
toll these strikes are taking. As journalist Glenn Greenwald noted in
the Intercept,
the Trump administration hastily brushed off recent civilian
casualties in favor of honoring the life of a single U.S. soldier who
died during one of the Yemen raids just days after Trump took office:

“The
raid in Yemen
that cost Owens his life also killed 30 other people, including ‘many
civilians,’ at least
nine of whom were children.
None of them were mentioned by Trump in last night’s speech, let
alone honored with applause and the presence of grieving relatives.
That’s because they were Yemenis, not Americans; therefore, their
deaths, and lives, must be ignored (the only exception was some
fleeting media mention of the 8-year-old daughter of Anwar al-Awlaki,
but only because she was a U.S. citizen and because of the irony
that Obama
killed her 16-year-old American brother with
a drone strike).”

Greenwald
notes this is typical of not just Trump, but the American war machine
in general:

“We
fixate on the Americans killed, learning their names and life stories
and the plight of their spouses and parents, but steadfastly ignore
the innocent people the U.S. government kills, whose numbers are
always far greater.”

Though
some Trump supporters sang his praises as a peace candidate before he
took office, the president’s militarism was apparent on many
occasions. He openly advocated increasing the size and scope of the
military, a promise he is now moving to keep. And as Zenko
highlights, Trump was disingenuous with his rhetoric against
interventionism:

“He
claimed to have opposed the 2003 Iraq War when he actually backed it,
and to have opposed the 2011 Libya intervention when he
actually strongly endorsed it,
including with U.S. ground troops. Yet, Trump and his loyalists
consistently implied that he would be less supportive of costly and
bloody foreign wars, especially when compared to President Obama, and
by extension, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.”

As
Trump continues to dig his heels into decades-old policies he has
criticized himself — reportedly mulling
over sending ground troops into Syria — he is increasingly proving
to be yet another establishment warmonger implementing policies
that spawn
the creation of more terrorists.
As Zenko concludes:

“We
are now on our third post-9/11 administration pursuing many of the
same policies that have failed to meaningfully reduce the number of
jihadist extremist fighters, or their attractiveness among potential
recruits or self-directed terrorists. The Global War on Terrorism
remains broadly unquestioned within Washington, no matter who is in
the White House.”

5 Signs We’re Headed Toward a Major War

(ANTIMEDIA) In
January of this year, former Soviet Union leader Mikhail
Gorbachev warned that
the whole world is preparing for war. There are many indicators that
back up Gorbachev’s assertion, but to discuss them in their
entirety would take a dissertation or two. Instead, we have put
together a list of the five most obvious signs of impending war
currently being overlooked by the media. As a result of these
oversights, the public is also missing them.

1.
Travel Ban

The
Trump administration’s travel ban, which targeted seven
majority-Muslim nations, makes little sense in the context of
fighting international terrorism. A Department of Homeland
Security report already
found no evidence of any extra threat posed by the nations on the
travel ban. 


Conversely, a Saudi official has admitted Saudi
Arabia’s longstanding practice of supporting terrorism as a
political tool, yet Saudi Arabia managed to escape the list. So did
Turkey, a country that has extensively
aided ISIS fighters;
Qatar, which has spent immense
amounts of
money arming fanatical jihadists; the United
Arab Emirates (where
the majority of the funding for the 9/11 attacks passed through), and
the list goes on.


Instead,
the travel ban was purely
political.
With help
from the anti-Trump media establishment,
the ban worked wonders separating the American public between those
who oppose Trump’s every move and those who support him
wholeheartedly in his quest to “make America great again.” But
little attention was paid to the reality of the ban.

Six
of the seven countries on Trump’s travel ban were featured in a
memo that was adopted shortly after 9/11 that detailed how the U.S.
was going to topple the governments of seven countries, as exposed by
four-star General Wesley Clark. The countries featured on Clark’s
list were Iraq, Libya, Lebanon, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Iran.

Any
accusations that Clark’s list is a conspiracy theory are completely
debunked by the events of the last two decades. Iraq was invaded in
2003, and the U.S. has been backing
warlords in
Somalia and bombing
the country for some time now.
The Pentagon is reportedly considering
expanding U.S.
involvement in the African nation. Israel was eager to take out
Lebanon in 2006 but failed to do so, though Israel warned just
last year that the next encounter with Lebanon will be “ferocious”
and “terrible.” U.S. troops are on the ground in Sudan.
Libya was destroyed in
2011, which paved
the way for the transfer of weapons and fighters into Syria,
a country bound to Iran by a mutual
defense agreement.


In
the context of Trump’s travel ban, Lebanon is replaced by Yemen,
the latest addition to the playbook amid fears that an insurgency
within Yemen could
place an Iranian-aligned government on Saudi Arabia’s border.

Including
Iran in the travel ban — despite the fact Iran is not currently
embroiled in a major civil conflict of its own, is not currently
bombing any other countries, and is one of the major
partners in the fight against ISIS —
demonstrates something more sinister at play than mere concerns
regarding international terrorism.

2.
Trump’s anti-Iran rhetoric

The
Obama administration, having successfully taken out Libya in 2011,
was tasked with finishing the job in Syria and toppling the Assad
regime. Overwhelming
support for
Syrian rebels battling the Syrian government was replaced
by urgent calls to intervene directly in 2013,
but Obama failed to gain international and public support for
airstrikes on the Syrian government. Russia diplomatically put its
hand up to offer a different proposal altogether, also warning that
“[they]
have [their] plans”
should the American military decide to strike Syria as Obama
intended. Any speculation that the real focus of the Syrian war was
aimed at Iran was proven to be not just mere conjecture; Obama
immediately thereafter warned Iran
that just because the U.S. did not attack Syria did not mean the U.S.
wouldn’t still strike Iran over its alleged nuclear program.

The
Russian military intervened overtly in Syria in 2015, which only
further foiled Washington’s plans for regime change in the country,
as admitted by former Secretary of State John Kerry in a leaked
audio recording.

As
such, the Trump administration has appeared to move the focus away
from Syria and directly back to Iran, in line George
W. Bush’s approach
when he was in office.

Trump
has assembled a
team that is “obsessed with Iran” and has accused Iran
of being the biggest state sponsor of terrorism. Theresa May, the
prime minister of the United Kingdom, also stated that
pushing back on “Iran’s
aggressive efforts” to
increase its “arc
of influence from Tehran through to the Mediterranean” was
a “priority.” Trump
was likely thrilled by these statements, as May
successfully secured 100
percent support for NATO from Trump the next day.

Following
an Iranian missile launch, the Trump administration officially
put “Iran
on notice.” The U.S. government wanted to make sure the
Iranians “understood
we are not going to sit by and not act on their actions.”

Just
this past month, Trump warned in a tweet that
Iran was “playing with fire,” and he vowed he would not be
anywhere near as “kind” as his predecessor was to Iran. This is
important because Trump has accused Iran of breaching its obligations
under the nuclear agreement, though the nuclear agreement does
not prohibit non-nuclear tests.

The
nuclear deal reached in 2015 was viewed as one of Obama’s greatest
diplomatic achievements, but in reality, it was doomed to fail right
from the start. In the same way Libya was coaxed out of rapidly
advancing its weapons programs before
being bombed back
into the Middle Ages in 2011, it may be the case that this diplomatic
approach to Iran was always a smokescreen to give the United States
more ‘reasoned’ leverage when attempting to convince the
international arena that a strike on Iran was justified.

As
outlined in the book “Which
Path to Persia? Options for a New American Strategy toward Iran”:

“For
those who favor regime change or a military attack on Iran (either by
the United States or Israel), there is a strong argument to be made
for trying this option first. Inciting regime change in Iran would be
greatly assisted by convincing the Iranian people that their
government is so ideologically blinkered that it refuses to do what
is best for the people and instead clings to a policy that could only
bring ruin on the country. The ideal scenario
in this case would be that the United States and the international
community present a package of positive inducements so enticing that
the Iranian citizenry would support the deal, only to have the regime
reject it. In a similar
vein, any military operation against Iran will likely be very
unpopular around the world and require the proper international
context – both to ensure the logistical support the operation would
require and to minimize the blowback from it. The
best way to minimize international opprobrium and maximize support
(however grudging or covert) is to strike only when there is a
widespread conviction that the Iranians were given but then rejected
a superb offer – one so good that only a regime determined to
acquire nuclear weapons and acquire them for the wrong reasons would
turn it down.” [emphasis
added]


By
claiming that through its missile tests Iran is violating a deal
that Trump
never supported to
begin with, he can lay the groundwork for an all-out confrontation
with Iran that could garner support from the international community,
as well as the misinformed American public.

3.
Iran dumps dollar

Currency
is a major driving factor behind the wars of our generation. Iraq
reportedly gave up
the U.S. dollar in 2000 for the euro and netted a “handsome profit”
for doing so. The U.S. military invaded in 2003 and
immediately switched oil sales in
Iraq from the euro back to the dollar. Iraq was also under heavy U.S.
sanctions that spanned
the course of at least a decade prior
to the invasion.

Comparatively,
in response to Trump’s anti-Iran rhetoric and the travel ban, Iran
officially dumped the
U.S. dollar. Iran has also been on the receiving
end of sanctions since
the Bush administration, and Trump has slapped fresh
sanctions on Iran over the missile tests.

In
the lead up to the 2003 invasion of Iraq, our television sets
were rife with
an unprecedented amount of disinformation regarding Iraq’s nuclear
program and the threat it posed to the world. Conversely, Israel
has been crying wolf over Iran’s nuclear program for
at least two decades, yet no actual evidence of an Iranian nuclear
weapons program has been produced.

The
Trump administration also accused Iran
of attacking a U.S. navy vessel – an attack that never took place.

Make
no mistake. The Trump administration is laying the groundwork for a
war with Iran by sowing the anti-Iranian seeds necessary to take the
American public into another dangerous war in the Middle East.

4.
Syria

While
Trump appeared at first to have heralded
a new approach to the Syrian conflict,
namely that Assad should be left alone and the real focus of American
foreign policy should be on defeating ISIS, the Trump administration
is stepping up its Syria operation behind the curtains. Trump is
reportedly planning to
send troops to Syria, and he is not the only external power doing so.
Iran’s regional arch-rival Saudi Arabia, which has incessantly
accused Tehran of backing rebels in neighboring Yemen without
producing any real evidence,
is also reportedly sending
troops into Syria.

Iranian-backed
regime troops will not look favorably on any foreign invading force,
particularly Saudi troops. Saudi Arabia has already made it clear
that it intends to liberate areas of Syria from ISIS and will be on
the ground to ensure that “liberated areas [do] not fall
under the control of Hizballah, Iran or the regime.”

How
far will they go to ensure this? Not to mention, how can one country
go into another and say that they want to ensure that the land does
not fall back into the hands of the people governing that country?

5.
Military drills and military alliances

The
United States and the United
Kingdom have
already begun military drills that simulate a potential conflict with
Iran. As reported by Russian-state owned news site RT,
Iran has staged a
“massive” military drill of its own, spanning 2 million square
kilometers.

This
preparation for war can be seen across the globe. Russia is
also holding
military drills as NATO
troops and tanks encroach upon
its border. Iran is seeking even closer military relations with
Russia and North
Korea.
The Baltic states that border Russia are running
drills,
too, supposedly out of fear that the Kremlin will invade. Russia’s
longstanding ally, China,
is also currently running drills for its own geostrategic
purposes.

Germany
is reportedly seeking to increase
its troop numbers to
200,000 troops even though such a move may put its neighbors on edge.
The Philippines, having decided to give the political middle finger
to the United States and instead forge closer relations with Russia
and China, welcomed
Russian warships to
its shores in January of this year.

Looking
at these military drills and alliances in the context of the above
developments paints a very grim picture for where humanity is headed.

War
with Iran: too unthinkable?

The
only rational criticism pundits have given
regarding Anti-Media’s previous
warnings of war is that because a war with Iran would be so
unthinkable, the Trump administration would never be so reckless as
to pursue it. Critics who hold such a view always neglect two very
important points: firstly, the United States under the Obama
administration was vehemently
opposed to the Assad regime in Syria.
The previous U.S. administration resorted
to directly targeting Syrian troops in
the middle of what was supposed to be a peace process, all with full
knowledge that the Assad regime is bound to Iran by a mutual defense
agreement. Secondly, America’s Middle Eastern power, Israel, has
also attacked Syria multiple
times since 2011,
targeting Iranian military personnel and their proxies.

Those
who think a war with Iran is unthinkable cannot answer the question:
what if Iran were to respond directly?

Think
of it like the current
to and fro between
Floyd Mayweather and UFC champion Conor McGregor. The two sides talk
tough and
attempt to provoke each other to set the mood for the current
conflict. Plenty of speculation occurs about whether one side is
bluffing and whether
or not the fight could possibly occur in the near future.
There is even the idea that such a fight would be so disastrous for
one of the sides (or both) that there is nothing to gain from
pursuing it.

But
all it takes is one wrong move; one reckless, cowardly, ill-advised
decision from either side and the entire Middle Eastern powder
keg could explode.

Trump
ordered a raid on Yemen that even war hawk Barack Obama disapproved
of because it was deemed too risky, and the raid
was an instant failure that
killed multiple civilians. This is the same president who turns down
dinners because he cannot face the torment of the liberal media and
instead forms
his opinions from Fox
News before
taking to Twitter.

It
is not unreasonable to expect the worst.

Om te laten zien, dat Turkije zich alles kan permitteren in het Midden-Oosten, heeft Erdogan bevel gegeven de waterdoorvoer van de Eufraat af te sluiten voor de Syrische grens. Geheel toevallig was dit vlak nadat VS opperschoft McCain een bezoek had gebracht aan Erdogan………..

Assad moet en zal weg, ook al zou dat tienduizenden doden kosten, daar doet de VS nooit moeilijk over……….. Vanaf WOII heeft de VS meer dan 20 miljoen mensen vermoord in illegale oorlogen, of door het parachuteren van VS vriendelijke dictaturen, zoals in Zuid- en Midden-Amerika. Of het grote aantal doden dat ‘gewoon’ viel middels door de VS uitgevoerde standrechtelijke executies (buiten de VS), zoals die met drones, executies waarbij meer dan 90% van de omstaande slachtoffers niet eens verdacht was/is (waaronder vooral vrouwen en kinderen), want daar gaat het om: het executeren van verdachten, zonder tussenkomst van een rechter …. Ofwel beschaving anno 2017…………………

Nu heeft Turkije, tegen alle internationale verdragen in, de watertoevoer van een rivier afgesloten. Van die rivier is men o.a. in Aleppo afhankelijk wat betreft drinkwater, datzelfde geldt voor een heel groot gebied rond Aleppo. Ook worden elektriciteitscentrales gekoeld met dit water. U behoeft geen specialist te zijn, om te bedenken, dat dit een regelrechte ramp wordt, voor de zoveelste keer door (fascistische) ‘mensenhand’ gemaakt………

Wanneer worden de westerse bevolkingen wakker en zeggen massaal nee, tegen het gemanipuleer en het voeren van illegale oorlogen door hun leiders in landen waar we niets te zoeken hebben, waarmee die westerse politieke leiders, allesbehalve de belangen van hun volk behartigen, iets dat wel hun taak is!! De westerse terreur in het Midden-Oosten en in delen van Afrika, creëert niet alleen grote ellende daar, maar fabriceert ook de terroristen die o.a. hier tekeer gaan…. Als het westen al wegtrekt blijven die landen volledig in puin achter en heerst er chaos, neem Libië, Afghanistan en Irak…… (oh nee, dom van mij ‘het karwei’ van vernietiging in Irak en Afghanistan is nog niet afgerond….)

Intussen worden de vluchtelingen die op de loop zijn voor de door het westen gecreëerde oorlogen, op een vreselijke manier behandeld, zoals in het Turkije van Erdogan………..* Waar de daders van die ellende, de westerse landen, geen of zo min mogelijk vluchtelingen binnen hun grenzen willen toelaten…..

In het volgende artikel van Anti-Media wordt uitgebreid op het afsluiten van Eufraat watertoevoer ingegaan. Voorts komt de goede band van de VS met ‘de gematigde rebellen’ (lees; psychopathische moordenaars en verkrachters) nog even ter sprake….. In het bijzonder de band van McCain met al-Hamad, de ‘gematigde rebel’ die een video liet maken, waarop hij te zien is terwijl hij het hart van een Syrische soldaat opeet……..

Just
a matter of days after John McCain made an “unusual” trip to
Syria and Turkey, the Turkish government has cut off water supplies
from the Euphrates River into northern Syria, violating international
conventions on water rights.

(MINTPRESS) While
some measure of stability has returned to pockets of northern Syria
following the Syrian Army’s recent liberation of al-Qaeda from
Aleppo and elsewhere, external forces seem determined to keep the
region volatile, regardless of the cost. In the latest example of
aggressive foreign intervention in Syria, Turkey, which has long
played an antagonistic role in Syria’s nearly six-year-long
conflict, has now cut off the flow of the Euphrates River into Syria,
depriving the nation of one of its primary sources of water.

According
to the Kurdish Hawar
News Agency,
Turkey cut water supplies to Syria around Feb. 23, which subsequently
forced a hydroelectric plant at the Tishrin Dam to shut down while
also significantly reducing water levels on its associated reservoir.
The dam supplies both water and power to key parts of northern Syria,
such as the city of Manbij and other parts of the predominantly
Kurdish Kobani Canton.

The
dam is one of several major dams along the Euphrates River. Just
downstream from Tishrin lies the Tabqa Dam and its reservoir Lake
Assad, which supplies Aleppo with most of its power and drinking
water, as well as irrigation water for over
640,000 hectares (2,500
square miles) of farmland. A city official in Manbij told Hawar that
the city would provide generator fuel to civilians to help cope with
the blackout that has resulted from the river being cut off. The same
official added that Turkey had “violated the international
conventions of water and rivers energy by cutting off Euphrates
water.”

This
is not the first time Turkey has deprived Syrians of water as a means
to advance their political goals in the region. Turkey previously cut
the river off in
May of 2014, causing water levels on Lake Assad to drop by over 20
feet and creating the potential for genocide by means of dehydration.
By blocking the river, Turkey threatens Iraqi civilians as well.
Major urban centers like Mosul, whose water supplies largely
depend on reservoirs fed
by the Euphrates, could be gravely impacted if the river continues to
be blocked.

The
act of cutting off the river is not unprecedented, but its timing is
peculiar. Just days prior to Turkey’s act, U.S. Senator John
McCain “secretly”
visited the
Kobani Canton, the very region that now finds itself without water,
before heading to Turkey, where he met with Turkish President Recep
Tayyip Erdogan.  

According
to the senator’s office,
“Senator McCain’s visit was a valuable opportunity to assess
dynamic conditions on the ground in Syria and Iraq.” It adds that
McCain looks forward to working with the Trump administration and
military leaders “to optimize our approach” on fighting the
Islamic State.

While
the U.S. has backed the Kurds in their fight to keep their
territories along the Syrian-Turkish border free of terrorist
influence, it has come at the cost of greatly complicating diplomatic
relations between the U.S. and Turkey.  For example, in early
2016, Erdogan dramatically
demanded that
the U.S. choose between an alliance with Turkey or with the Syrian
Kurds. The diplomatic stand-off has since reached new heights of
tension, with Turkey threatening
to invade Kurdish-held Manbij less
than two weeks ago. Manbij is suffering the most from Turkey’s
blockage of the Euphrates, suggesting that the move could be intended
to destabilize the Kurds before something more drastic takes place.

It
also warrants mentioning that despite Erdogan’s and McCain’s
claims that they are eager to “defeat” the Islamic State and
other terrorist factions, both have close ties to those very same
groups. This, of course, suggests that McCain’s visit, as well as
recent moves by Turkey, have ulterior motives that have yet to be
publicly expressed.

For
example, McCain has been so intent on removing Assad from power that
he has fostered relationships with the Syria’s “moderate rebels”
and its more notorious opposition factions such as the Islamic State.
Photographic evidence has confirmed this, with one
infamous photo showing
McCain posing with Khalid al-Hamad – a “moderate” rebel who
gained notoriety after a video of him eating the heart of a Syrian
Army soldier went
viral online.
McCain has also admitted meeting with ISIS on national television,
going so far as to acknowledge that he
is still in contact with
the infamous terrorist group.

Erdogan,
for his part, was revealed to be a
major player in the smuggling of Islamic State oil out
of Syria for sale on the global market. It was these oil sales that
enabled the Islamic State to grow into what it is today and to become
one of the
world’s most well-funded terror groups.

With
such connections now well-documented, it seems unlikely that McCain
and Erdogan discussed how to defeat the Islamic State. Based on the
evidence, it seems much more likely that both remain eager to
destabilize the region due to their shared goal of deposing Assad.
With Turkey already working to destabilize Northern Syria by cutting
off key resources, we will soon see what other measures may have been
discussed during this “secret” meeting.

Deze was vreselijk, mensen werden in provisorische gevangenissen opgesloten, waar het aan alles ontbrak, dit in onherbergzame gebieden, waar noch journalisten, noch ngo’s welkom zijn……. Daarna is in deze situatie niets veranderd, ook niet na het achterlijke miljarden vluchtelingen akkoord van de EU. Gegarandeerd dat ook ons belastinggeld t.b.v. van die opvang van vluchtelingen, voor het overgrote deel in de zakken van Erdogan en zijn misdadigers regering is gevloeid………Onlangs nog een bericht over de opvang van vluchtelingen in Turkije op Aleke’s Blog!: ‘Vluchtelingen in Turkije!‘

Gistermiddag op BNR het bericht, dat Facebook NU.nl heeft aangewezen als ‘feitenchecker’, ofwel censuurorgaan voor nieuws op alternatieve media, ofwel ‘sociale media….’ ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!

NU.nl, u weet wel het medium dat alle leugens uit de reguliere pers, zonder fatsoenlijke controle voor waar aanneemt en zelf ook publiceert, zie de berichtgeving over de bevrijding van Oost-Aleppo….. Of wat dacht u van wat men daar noemt ‘de annexatie van De Krim’, terwijl iedere imbeciel kan weten, dat de bevolking van De Krim, zich na een door internationale waarnemers goedgekeurd referendum, aansloot bij Rusland…….

Onder die bevolking was ook verreweg het grootste deel van de oorspronkelijke bevolking van De Krim voor aansluiting bij Rusland! Logisch, de bevolking van De Krim had voor het overgrote deel gekozen voor de democratisch gekozen president Janoekovytsj……. Deze werd afgezet middels een door de VS opgezette opstand, die vooropgezet leidde tot de staatsgreep in Oekraïne. De VS bekostigde het geheel met 4 miljard dollar en regisseerde de boel……. Net als de bevolking van Oost-Oekraïne, was de bevolking van De Krim tegen de neonazi-junta van de door de VS geparachuteerde corrupte grofgraaier Porosjenko…….

‘Nee echt een geweldig idee’, NU.nl feiten laten controleren’. laat dit medium eerst de eigen berichtgeving maar eens controleren!!

‘American Nuremberg’: VS politici en ambtenaren moeten worden berecht voor de door hen begane oorlogsmisdaden sinds 911

Ontving gisteren van Brasscheck TV een video, die handelt over het boek ‘American Nuremberg’. Het boek dat de VS en de internationale pers ‘links liet liggen….’ In haar boek neemt Rebecca Gordon alle maatregelen en oorlogsmisdaden door die terreurentiteit VS nam, na de aanvallen van 911 (11 september 2001), oorlogsmisdaden t/m illegale oorlogvoering………

Rebecca Gordon gaat eerst in op de Neurenberg processen na de oorlog, waar men aanvankelijk nog dacht, dat ook de oorlogsmisdaden van de geallieerden zouden worden berecht in Neurenberg. Naar wat we inmiddels al lang weten, is dit nooit gebeurd*, zelfs niet de enorme oorlogsmisdaden begaan met het afwerpen van twee atoombommen op respectievelijk Hiroshima en Nagasaki.

Het Internationaal Strafhof is een uitvloeisel van de Neurenberg processen, waar de VS onder G.W. Bush weigerde het verdrag daartoe te ratificeren, sterker nog zelfs een verbod uitsprak over het berechten van ook maar één VS burger door dit hof……..

De illegale oorlog van de VS tegen (Afghanistan en) Irak, is volgens Gordon te vergelijken met de invallen van de nazi’s in andere landen…. Juist die invallen werden destijds onder de Neurenberg processen als een enorme oorlogsmisdaad neergezet. Onder het verdrag van Genève werden dergelijke invallen, een aanval zonder aanleiding daartoe, als oorlogsmisdaad van de hoogste categorie bestempeld. Gordon betoogt dat Dick Cheney al bij zijn aantreden (en dus zelfs voorafgaand daaraan) de opzet had Irak aan te vallen, m.a.w. al voor de aanslagen van 911 wilde men Irak binnenvallen………

Wolfowitz, behorend tot de vriendenkring van G.W. Bush en Cheney, had al in de 90er jaren een doctrine voorgesteld, waarin de VS Irak en daarna Syrië zou aanvallen en bezetten…..

Een berechting van de G.W. Bush bende voor de vele gepleegde oorlogsmisdaden ziet Gordon niet gebeuren. Hoewel het geteisem daar wel bang voor is, G.W. Bush liet een paar jaar geleden een uitnodiging voor Zwitserland schieten, daar hij bang was aangehouden te worden vanwege die oorlogsmisdaden, een Zwitserse rechter zou e.e.a hebben onderzocht…… Gordon ziet dit echter wel als een mogelijkheid, afzonderlijke landen, die een verantwoordelijke VS diplomaat kunnen arresteren en deze onder eigen wetgeving berechten……. Een andere mogelijkheid is volgens Gordon een proces in de VS en dan op afgeleide gronden, zoals het verbod op martelen, dat in de VS wet is opgenomen……

Gordon pleit voor een tribunaal georganiseerd door bijvoorbeeld een universiteit in de VS, waar mensenrechtenorganisaties, rechtsgeleerden en anderen, zoals slachtoffers, of nabestaanden van slachtoffers gedocumenteerd de begane oorlogsmisdaden vastleggen en de verantwoordelijken daarvoor aanwijzen…….

VS generaal Hodges wil openheid van Rusland over militaire oefening…… ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!

Weer zo’n typisch geval van: waar haalt hij het lef vandaan?! VS commando generaal Ben Hodges (VS) eist openheid van Rusland voor haar later dit jaar te houden grootscheepse militaire oefening ‘Zapad 2017’. Let wel: Hodges is niet de VS generaal die de NAVO legermacht leidt………. Dat is overigens altijd een VS generaal, het teken dat de VS de feitelijke leider is van de NAVO.

Deze oefening vindt plaats langs de westelijke grens van Rusland en is een antwoord op de bijna continu gevoerde grote NAVO oefeningen, aan de andere kant van de Russische grens………. Oefeningen waar de reguliere westerse pers het zwijgen toe doet……. Een enkel bericht zo nu en dan laat zien, dat deze oefeningen in feite continu plaatsvinden……. Logisch ook dat de VS eist dat de NAVO landen meer spenderen aan militair wapentuig, de kosten voor die oefeningen over nu al bijna 2 jaar, moeten minstens boven de 1 miljard euro liggen, als zou zelfs een verdriedubbeling van dat bedrag me niet verbazen………

Oorlogshitser Hodges durft zelfs te zeggen, dat hij nog niet weet wat de reactie van het westen zal zijn op deze militaire oefening van de Russen……. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! De psychopaat draait de zaak volledig om: immers de Russische oefening is nu juist een antwoord op westerse agressie langs de grens met Rusland. Een plek waar de NAVO, volgens een verdrag uit 1991, niets te zoeken heeft, een verdrag gesloten met de toenmalige Russische president* Gorbatsjov, waarin de NAVO beloofde niet uit te breiden richting Russische grens…….

Juist die actie (de NAVO staat nu bijna langs de gehele Russische westgrens), met het nu continu tarten van Rusland middels militaire oefeningen langs de grens, is zoals gezegd de oorzaak dat de Russen een militaire oefening hebben gepland……

Voorts wil Hodges de Russen aanspreken op het gebruik van drones boven Oost-Oekraïne en Syrië…… ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! De VS laat overal en nergens drones vliegen, waarmee deze grootste terreurentiteit een enorm aantal slachtoffers heeft gemaakt. Meer dan 90% van die slachtoffers is niet eens verdacht en bestaat veelal uit vrouwen en kinderen……. En dan wil deze psychopathische ijzervreter Hodges Rusland ter verantwoording roepen over drones…???

Trouwens valt het u ook op? Er wordt plotsklaps over Russische drones gesproken, die boven Oost-Oekraïne zouden vliegen…….. Als dat werkelijk zo was, hadden we daar allang beelden van gezien!! Wat ik zojuist stelde over VS drones, geldt al helemaal in Syrië (Irak en Jemen), daar moordt de VS er lustig op los met hun smerige standrechtelijke executies van verdachten en burgers…… Nogmaals: burgers die al helemaal niet verdacht werden (ik ontwijk het woord ‘onschuldig’, daar dit woord toch het woord ‘schuldig’ in zich draagt, immers die slachtoffers hadden niets te maken met de agressie van de VS, of van wie dan ook…….)……….

Het volgende bericht komt van Reuters (via Anti-Media). Ik snap niet, waarom de journalist die met Hodges sprak niet één keer kritiek heeft geleverd op alle zogenaamde feiten, die ploert Hodges op durfde te lepelen….. Zoals de annexatie van De Krim door Rusland, iedereen op deze aardkloot kan weten, dat dit een pertinente leugen is en toch blijft men deze volhouden!! De bevolking van De Krim besloot zich massaal, in een door internationale waarnemers goedgekeurd referendum, aan te sluiten bij Rusland

Sterker nog: de VS heeft de opstand die tot de staatsgreep in Oekraïne leidde, op poten gezet, gefinancierd met 4 miljard dollar en geregisseerd…….. Dezelfde staatsgreep tegen de democratisch gekozen regering Janoekovytsj, die tot de opstand in De Krim en Oost-Oekraïne heeft geleid!!! (wat betreft De Krim: leidend tot het referendum!) Hodges vertegenwoordigt een ‘land’, de VS, dat alleen deze eeuw al 4 illegale oorlogen is begonnen en minstens 2 staatsgrepen heeft geregisseerd…….. Dan durft schoft Hodges het over Russische agressie en manipulaties in Oost-Europa te hebben (zie voor de echte aanstichter van ellende het voorgaande nogmaals…….)……….

Voorts beloofde Hodges dat de VS voorlopig net weg zal gaan uit Oost-Europa, al zeker de eerste 5 jaar niet…… Naast dit alles heeft de VS ook nog eens een raketschild ingericht op een paar plaatsen langs de Russische grens, zogenaamd tegen Iraanse raketten…** Dat zou Rusland omgekeerd eens moeten proberen op Cuba of langs de VS grens met Mexico………

Vergeet verder niet, dat de VS de eerste was, die vorig jaar (onder Obama) bekend maakte, kernwapens niet meer als afschrikkingsmiddel te zien, maar als (eerste) aanvalswapen…… Waar nu door Trump bij opgeteld kan worden, dat hij, als de eerste beste kleuter, de meeste kernwapens wil hebben, ook al kan de VS onze aarde nu al zo’n 1.000 keer vernietigen……..

U.S.
general wants Russia to open up major exercise to observers

The
U.S. Army’s top European commander on Wednesday called on Russia to
open its major military exercise later this year to observers to
assuage the anxieties of its neighbors.

Russia
has unveiled plans to stage its Zapad 2017 exercise near its western
borders this autumn but has not said how many troops will take part.

Lithuanian
president Dalia Grybauskaite said the Baltic countries were concerned
about the exercise and called on NATO for additional security
measures.

“For
me, Zapad represents an opportunity for the Russians to demonstrate
that they are committed to security and stability in Europe also
through transparency, by inviting media, by inviting observers, more
than the minimums required by Vienna, to demonstrate, to show what’s
going on, to be transparent,” U.S. lieutenant general Ben Hodges
told reporters in Vilnius.

“That
would be the first and most important thing,” he added. “I
think that would lower some anxiety”.

The
Cold War-era treaty known as the Vienna document sets out rules for
large-scale exercises and other military activity.

The
U.S. forces’ response to Russia’s military exercise “will depend
on what our leadership says is the appropriate posture”, Hodges
said.

He
added that the U.S. was also looking at ways to address Russia’s use
of unmanned drones, such as those deployed in Eastern Ukraine and
Syria.

The
Baltic states, annexed by the Soviet Union in the 1940s but now part
of NATO and the European Union, have felt vulnerable since Moscow’s
annexation of Crimea and its participation in military conflicts in
Eastern Ukraine.

The
U.S. has deployed an armored brigade and an aviation brigade to
Europe this year, originally ordered by former U.S. president Barack
Obama as part of NATO efforts to deter Russia from further meddling
in Eastern Europe.

As
part of the deterrence effort, NATO nations are sending four battle
groups into the Baltic States and Poland, some of them deployed in
the Suwalki gap between Belarus and Russia, the sole land connection
between the Baltics and the rest of NATO.

“This
is the first U.S. brigade of a series that will continue for as long
as necessary, I assume at least the next five years,” said
Hodges. “Heel-to-toe, brigade after brigade after brigade, no
gaps.”

Mosul, het verschil in berichtgeving vergeleken met de bevrijding van Oost-Aleppo………..

Anti-Media bracht gisteren een artikel over de herovering van Mosul op IS, waarin de schrijver Shahtahmasebi wijst op het totale verschil in berichtgeving door de reguliere westerse (massa-) media, als het gaat om de bevrijding van (West-) Mosul en Oost-Aleppo. Shahtahmasebi noemt dit ‘hypocriet’, waar ik toch liever over ‘misdadig’ wil spreken.

Vreemd dat we nu niet continu inwoners van West-Mosul op de radio horen, die telefonisch klagen over de aanvallen van de door de VS geleide ‘Iraakse-coalitie….’ Ten tijde van de bevrijding van Oost-Aleppo, door het Syrische leger en de Russen, waren deze gesprekken aan de orde van de dag, wat zover ging, dat blijkbaar elke straat in Oost-Aleppo, het laatste ziekenhuis van dat stadsdeel had en werd gebombardeerd door de Russen……..

Zelfs nu, na de bevrijding van Oost-Aleppo krijgen we van de reguliere westerse media geen getuigenissen van de bevrijde burgers daar….. Dit terwijl bijvoorbeeld de BBC al weer belt met mensen die in door het Syrische leger belegerde steden zouden zitten. ‘Zouden zitten’: daar men niet kan controleren of dit werkelijk zo is. Gisteren voerde de BBC zo een student tandheelkunde op, die nu zelfs zou opereren in Madaya, bij gebrek aan deskundig medisch personeel.

In dit gesprek met de BBC stelt deze student, die zijn volledige naam noemt, dat er gebrek aan alles is in Madaya. Als deze man werkelijk in Madaya zat, waarom dan geen kritiek op de ‘gematigde rebellen’, die in 99% van de gevallen de sharia hebben ingevoerd en overeenkomstig een waar terreurbewind uitvoeren? Als hij dit wel ter sprake had gebracht, zou hij op zeker z’n naam niet genoemd hebben……..

Daarnaast: de verhalen over tekorten aan medicijnen, voedsel, water en brandstof in Madaya, zoals verwoord door deze student, zijn ook bekend uit Oost-Aleppo, ten tijde van de belegering….. Hysterisch herhaalt door westerse politici en de westerse media. Achteraf bleek keer op keer, dat door het Syrische leger en de Russen toegelaten transporten met die hulpgoederen, of werden geweerd door de ‘gematigde rebellen’ (lees: psychopathische moordenaars, verkrachtersen martelbeulen), vaak middels beschietingen, ofwel deze terroristen behielden de aangevoerde hulpgoederen voor de eigen manschappen en aanhang………

order to determine the truth when it comes to the mainstream media’s
coverage of American-led offensives in the Middle East, be sure to
scroll down to the bottom of any article. This is where the most
important information can be found. As can be seen in a BBC report on
the U.S.-backed offensive to retake the Iraqi city of Mosul from the
Islamic State*, the last line of the article reads:

“The
UN said in late January that almost half of all
the casualties in
Mosul were civilians. At least 1,096 have been killed and 694 injured
across Nineveh province since the start of October.”

Compared
with a separate BBC report on
the Russian-backed offensive to retake the Syrian city of Aleppo, the
media’s coverage of these two military operations can hardly be
viewed as balanced. In that report, the idea that Russia is
constantly killing civilians is laid out in almost every paragraph.

A
spokesperson for the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR)
 reportedly told Russian
state-owned news site RT that
the situation in Mosul is “incredibly desperate.”

In
Mosul, 650,000 civilians are reportedly at
risk, and as the U.N. has indicated, half of those being killed in
the U.S.-backed operation are civilians. The notion that American
bombs are safer and more precise than Russia’s has no evidentiary
basis, nor does any suggestion that the troops the U.S. military is
fighting alongside are less violent than Russian or Syrian
authorities. In fact, the troops fighting alongside the U.S. in Iraq
are more
or less aligned with
those attempting
to liberate parts of Syria from
terrorist groups, anyway. This demonstrates America’s completely
bipolar approach to the Middle East given the U.S. has
consistently opposed
advances made by these troops in Syria.

In
a press briefing, the Pentagon’s Baghdad-based spokesperson,
Colonel John Dorrian, admitted that
American troops on the front lines have come under fire in Iraq. The
Trump administration, with full knowledge of this, is
nonetheless reportedly considering
a “long-term commitment” to Iraq.

According
to a report compiled
by a think tank founded by alleged war criminal Tony Blair, at least
65,000 fighters “share
key parts of the ideology of ISIS, with 15 of its rivals ready to
take its place if it is defeated.”

No
matter what the U.S. does in Syria and Iraq regarding combating
terror groups, there will always be another group just as deadly and
willing to replace its predecessor. The U.S. has clearly used this
dynamic their advantage as these terror groups consistently give the
American military a cause to intervene, which can provide a
smokescreen for the real motives behind the war.

Currently,
it is possible that the push to move ISIS out of Mosul is actually
an attempt
to drive ISIS back into Syria so
they can put added pressure on the Syrian regime.

Juist, die zouden beschoten zijn door diezelfde Syriërs en Russen, terwijl het juist de ‘gematigde rebellen’ waren, die niet wilden dat deze bewoners dat stadsdeel verlieten en hen beschoten. West-Mosul: geen aandacht voor de meer dan 600.000 inwoners (deel 2)

Een paar dagen geleden plaatste ik een bericht over het offensief tegen het door ISIS bezette West-Mosul en het totaal ontbreken van beeldmateriaal en vooral het totale gebrek aan aandacht voor de meer dan 600.000 mensen die opgesloten zijn in dat deel van Mosul*.

Gisteren ontving ik een bericht van ANTIMEDIA, met dezelfde strekking. Met een paar grote uitzonderingen: zo spreekt de schrijver, Shahtahmasebi, die Oost-Aleppo vergelijkt met West-Mosul, over de systematische verschrikkingen, die de bevolking daar onderging door toedoen van het Syrische leger en de Russen…. Voor deze bewering is echter geen greintje bewijs, alles is van horen zeggen en toch berichtte de westerse media of ze deze zaken uit eigen ooggetuigen verslag hadden verkregen……

Voorts citeerde men o.a. SOHR (Syrian Observatory for Human Rights), een organisatie in Engeland bemenst en geleid door één persoon, een gewezen Syrische crimineel. De verslagen bleken telkens weer op leugens te berusten, maar dat was geen reden voor o.a. de BBC en de NOS de berichten van SOHR niet uit te zenden……….

Ook wordt er door Shahtahmasebi gesteld dat de verdedigers van Oost-Aleppo, de burgers niet gebruikten als menselijk schild. Dat is ronduit gelul van een dronken aardbei, dat deden de ‘gematigde rebellen’ (lees: psychopathische moordenaars en verkrachters) nu juist wel!! Sterker nog de door het Syrische leger en Russen meermaals ingestelde corridors, waardoor de burgers van Oost-Aleppo konden vluchten, werden door deze ‘gematigde rebellen’ keer op keer onder vuur genomen. Ook werden burgers die probeerden te vluchten zonder pardon standrechtelijk geëxecuteerd, inclusief mee vluchtende familieleden (waar de leeftijd van de vluchtenden er niet toe deed…….)……

Eén ding is zeker: waar steden in Irak in het recente verleden werden ontzet ‘door het Iraakse leger’ (o.l.v. de VS), vonden gruwelijke oorlogsmisdaden plaats door deze coalitie, zoals in het geval van Fallujah en een eerdere strijd om Mosul in 2014….. Daarover gesproken: men stelde dat na de bevrijding van Oost-Aleppo de mensenrechten op grote schaal werden geschonden door het Syrische leger, iets waar (alweer) geen bewijs voor werd geleverd, echter bij de ontzetting van Fallujah en andere steden, door ‘de Iraakse coalitie’ (in feite ‘de VS coalitie..’), werden er veel gruwelijkheden begaan op de bevolking die e.e.a. had overleefd……..

Mensen lees zelf het volgende artikel, het geeft zeker een ziek beeld van de strijd die de burgers in West-Mosul moeten ondergaan……..

(ANTIMEDIA) Iraqi
forces, backed by American airpower, are set to launch a long-awaited
offensive to retake West Mosul. There are reportedly 3,000
ISIS fighters left defending their last major stronghold in Iraq, and
an estimated 650,000 civilians are trapped in the western-held area
of the city. The U.N. has warned that these civilians are at “extreme
risk,” with food, fuel, water, and electricity supplies extremely
scarce. Mosul, the third largest city in Iraq, has been under
siege by U.S.-backed forces in a months-long offensive to retake the
city from ISIS.

Given
a captured ISIS fighter admitted that
he raped over 200 women in Iraq, it makes sense to want to liberate a
city of civilians currently held hostage by the terror group.
However, the forces the Americans are backing to retake the Iraqi
city are reportedly no better. There have been numerous accounts
of documented
revenge acts committed
by the Shia-led militias against the local Sunni population.

Despite
this, the mainstream media presents the siege Mosul as a
legitimate military operation without question, especially when
compared to the media’s coverage of the battle for Aleppo in late
2016. As noted by
Patrick Cockburn in the Independent:

“But
look at how differently the international media is treating a similar
situation in Mosul, 300 miles east of Aleppo, where one million
people and an estimated 5,000 Isis fighters are being encircled by
the Iraqi army fighting alongside Kurdish Peshmerga and Shia and
Sunni paramilitaries and with massive support from a US-led air
campaign. In the case of Mosul, unlike Aleppo, the defenders are to
blame for endangering civilians by using them as human shields and
preventing them leaving. In East Aleppo, fortunately, there are no
human shields – though the UN says that half the civilian
population wants to depart – but simply innocent victims of Russian
savagery.”

Cockburn notes that the
media completely hyped up Russia’s destruction of Aleppo yet stayed
almost silent on the Iraqi city of Ramadi, which was “80
per cent destroyed by US-led air strikes in 2015.”

Still,
even these much-needed criticisms published in the mainstream media
do not counteract the corporate media’s almost wholehearted support
for American military might in the Middle East and its complete
distaste for Russia. Mainstream outlets hammered home the narrative
that Russia was pounding at least 250,000 civilians trapped in
Eastern Aleppo at the end of 2016. However, the media failed to
mention three crucial facts regarding this assessment: 1) The
majority of Aleppo’s population lived in government-controlled
areas of Aleppo,
which were subject to regular
shelling by rebel groups;
2) The rebel groups that held Eastern Aleppo were all
affiliated with al-Qaeda and shared ISIS’ core belief system;
and 3) The New
York Times admitted the
figure of 250,000 civilians was a fabrication, as “some
groups say the population of eastern Aleppo is much lower, in the
tens of thousands.”

Following
the Aleppo offensive, the Syrian peace deal brokered without the
assistance of the United States has been said to hold “more than
previous ones,” according to
the U.N. envoy to Syria, Staffan de Mistura.

“And
in my modest opinion, has – if we all look at it carefully and
support it – more chances to actually succeed than others,” de
Mistura also said.

No
one doubts that Russia and Syria are responsible for some of the
most egregious
violations of humanitarian law and crimes
against humanity.
But the media’s presentation of these two battles can hardly be
called ‘balanced.’

ISIS
only exists in Iraq in
the first place because when the U.S. invaded in 2003, one of the
first things the top U.S. civilian administrator in Iraq, Paul
Bremer, chose to do was fire
an estimated 350,000
to 400,000 soldiers simply
because they were part of Saddam Hussein’s Baathist party. These
soldiers went from being classified as secularist to fighting
alongside fanatical and radical ISIS members, including
holding high-ranking positions within ISIS’ ranks.

Not
only that, but when ISIS was taking over Mosul in 2014, the U.S.
air force was nowhere to be seen,
even as they captured massive amounts of American military equipment
and brandished it on social media. ISIS’ rise to power was
facilitated by the Obama administration, as leaked
audio of
former Secretary of State John Kerry addressing Syrian opposition
members revealed:

“And
we know that this was growing, we were watching, we saw that DAESH
[ISIS] was growing in strength, and we thought Assad was threatened.
(We) thought, however…We could probably manage that Assad might
then negotiate, but instead of negotiating he got Putin to support
him.”

In
short, U.S. policies put ISIS in Iraq to begin with. Then, when it
suited their warped foreign policy, they decided not to target ISIS
so its momentum could grow throughout the region. Even recently, as
ISIS fought
to retake Deir
ez-Zor in Syria, putting another 250,000 Syrian civilians at risk,
the American military and mainstream media stayed mostly silent. This
was an area in which the U.S. military did strike
in 2016, only to target
Syrian military forces embroiled
in a battle with ISIS.

As
Iraq is set to retake Mosul from ISIS with American assistance, it is
not clear whether the Iraqi people will receive the much-needed
break that they deserve.

Thankfully,
Iraq’s prime minister, Haidar al-Abadi, asked the
Iraqi armed forces to respect human rights during the battle and to
take care of those displaced by the fighting. It is unlikely such a
request would have any effect on rogue militias given that in the
past, the Shia-led militias have been barred
from entering certain cities due to the havoc they are known to
unleash.

Fortunately
for the Iraqi forces, they are fighting alongside the U.S. military,
so their crimes are likely to be swept under the rug by the
mainstream media (for
now, anyway).

Amnesty claimt zonder bewijs 13.000 moorden middels massa executies in ‘gevangenis Assad………’ Deel 2

Op 13 februari jl. publiceerde ik al een bericht, over de claim van Amnesty International, dat 13.000* mensen in grote hoeveelheden tegelijk werden geëxecuteerd in de Syrische Saydhaya gevangenis. Ik nam toen een artikel over gepubliceerd op Information Clearing House (ICH), geschreven door Moon of Alabama, die uitlegde, dat de hele claim van Amnesty op drijfzand was gebaseerd**.

Vandaag nog een artikel van Moon of Alabama op ICH, over diezelfde claim van Amnesty, die dit keer door de Britse ex-ambassadeur voor Irak, Peter Ford (die de bewuste gevangenis kent), totaal in de grond wordt geboord…….

Amnesty
International’s latest report on mass extrajudicial killings in Syria
would not stand scrutiny, according to former British ambassador to
Syria, Peter Ford.


February
19, 2017 “Information
Clearing House”
– On February 7, the organization issued an explosive report
titled ‘Human Slaughterhouse, Mass Hangings and Extermination
at Saydhaya prison, Syria,’ alleging that the Syrian authorities
were responsible of killing 13,000 opponents of President
Bashar Assad at the Saydnaya prison on the outskirts
of Damascus.

In
an interview with Sputnik, Ford pointed out that it was
interesting how the report was coincidentally released after the
Syrian city of Aleppo was liberated by the government
forces two months ago, after successful negotiations in Astana
and as it appears that Syria is coming closer to a
political solution for the ongoing war.

“It’s
very strange after this report has been over a year
in gestation — you have to ask, why now?” He
said.

According
to the former Ambassador, there is a number of reasons why
the report puts into question the credibility of the human
rights organisation. Apart from the fact that it was based
on interviews with anonymous witnesses and doesn’t provide
a hint of evidence, those nameless sources were wrong on ‘basic
information’, and that naturally puts to doubt the veracity
of other claims.

The
retired British diplomat had visited Saydnaya numerous times as he
served in Damascus from 2003 to 2006. According
to Ford, the prison was too small to contain ten to twenty
thousand prisoners at one time, contrary to what Amnesty
said in the report.

“Ten
to twenty thousand is a fair-sized town.” He said in an
interview. “The building which I saw at Saydnaya could not
possibly accommodate more than ten percent of those
numbers.”

The
human rights group also quoted its sources as saying that
Saydnaya became the main political prison in 2011, which was
just as false.
