Reddit heeft een 9/11 forum met complottheorieën over de aanslagen in 2001 geblokkeerd voor lezers. Volgens de beheerders van Reddit wordt op het forum desinformatie verspreid……. Overigens kon ik vanmorgen wel doorklikken naar dit forum, genaamd r/911truth, wel krijg je eerst te lezen dat dit forum in quarantaine is geplaatst, maar na een paar klikken kan je nu toch door naar de site, ofwel de blokkering is intussen opgeheven, al is de mededeling van Reddit, waar je niet omheen kan, uiteraard een grof schandaal…..
Ook
het budget voor die commissie, 15 miljoen dollar, is een schijntje
voor de grootste ‘hedendaagse’ terreuraanslag, die slechts wordt
overtroffen door de massamoorden gepleegd door het VS leger tijdens
de genocide op de oorspronkelijke bevolking van wat men nu VS
noemt…..**
Voor de onderzoeken tijdens de Monica Lewinsky-affaire werd maar
liefst 60 miljoen dollar uitgetrokken……
Het is duidelijk dat Reddit zich schuldig maakt aan censuur en meedoet aan het complot van de westerse regeringen en hun hielenlikkende reguliere (massa-) media, om de sociale media te zuiveren van kritiek…….. Ik leg de nadruk op westerse regeringen en media, daar deze zich immer op de borst kloppen voor hun ‘democratie’ en ‘vrijheid van meningsuiting’, waar wat betreft de media nog bijkomt dat deze media het gore lef hebben te zeggen dat ze onafhankelijk zijn, terwijl ze veel ‘fake news’ (nepnieuws) brengen en de sociale media juist daarvan beschuldigen…..
Het
is voor degenen die deze zaak volgen dan ook meer dan duidelijk: de
VS wil de waarheid over de aanslagen op 11 september 2001 geheim
houden….. Logisch daar de CIA en de NSA zeker hebben meegeholpen
aan de voorbereiding, niet voor niets was het juist de Deep State in de VS die het grootste belang had bij deze aanslagen…… Zo heeft de wapenmaffia in de VS zich geheel en al scheel verdiend aan de illegale oorlogen die de VS ‘n.a.v. deze aanslagen’ is begonnen……

Reddit
heeft een populair subforum, een zogeheten subreddit, over
9/11-complottheorieën in quarantaine geplaatst.
Als
je het subforum bezoekt wordt je doorverwezen naar een officiële
overheidswebsite over de aanslagen.
Donderdag
werd de subreddit r/911truth in quarantaine geplaatst. De beheerders van Reddit claimden dat de
berichten die er geplaatst worden desinformatie bevatten.
Volgens
Reddit worden subfora in quarantaine geplaatst om te voorkomen dat
anderen per ongeluk op deze informatie stuiten (je moet er toch niet
aan denken).
Reddit
is net als de meeste andere social media-platforms begonnen met het
beheersen van de informatiestroom, en bepaalt voor jou wat waar is en
wat niet.
Ironisch
genoeg linkt Reddit door naar de officiële pagina van de 9/11
Commission, die naar eigen zeggen op alle mogelijke manieren werd
gedwarsboomd tijdens het officiële onderzoek.
De
commissieleden kregen relatief weinig geld voor het onderzoek en
liepen tegen talloze muren op.
Er
werd 15
miljoen dollar beschikbaar
gesteld voor het onderzoek naar de 9/11-aanslagen, de ‘wreedste
terreuraanval in de VS in de geschiedenis’.
Ter
vergelijking werd er alleen al 60 miljoen dollar gespendeerd aan het
onderzoek naar de Lewinsky-affaire.
Senator
Max Cleland, die uit de 9/11 Commission stapte, noemde de commissie
een ‘nationaal schandaal’.
In
2006 meldde de Washington
Post dat
meerdere leden van de 9/11 Commission het vermoeden hadden dat ze bij
de neus werden genomen door het Pentagon.
“Sommige
commissieleden concludeerden dat het verhaal van het Pentagon over de
manier waarop het reageerde op de terreuraanslagen in 2001, mogelijk
was bedoeld om de commissie en het volk te misleiden, zo zeggen
bronnen die betrokken zijn bij het debat,” klonk het.
Als
social media-reuzen zoals Reddit dit soort fora in quarantaine
plaatsen en claimen dat er slechts één officiële bron is die je
mag raadplegen – de overheid – misleiden ze de burgers.
Eerder
deze maand sloot Reddit subfora die complottheorieën over QAnon
verspreidden.
Sinds
oktober 2017 hebben deze theorieën een groot aantal volgers, onder
wie actrice Roseanne Barr.

De VS
rekent de Zuid-Chinese Zee tot haar territoriale wateren, althans
anders kan je niet concluderen als je ziet dat de VS China keer op
keer uitdaagt in een gebied dat China ‘iets meer gerechtigd dan de
VS’, ziet als haar territoriale wateren…….
Eindelijk
heeft China besloten dat het genoeg is geweest en heeft de torpedobootjager
USS Decator, een schip met geleide raketten aan boord, weggejaagd uit haar territoriale wateren!
China
wordt door de westerse wereld beschuldigd van ‘expansiedrift’, door
het opspuiten van eilandjes in de Zuid-Chinese Zee. Echter gezien het
grote aantal militaire bases van terreurentiteit VS rond een deel van
haar grondgebied, kan je niet anders dan China gelijk geven, immers de
VS heeft ruim voldoende bewezen totaal onbetrouwbaar te zijn en
uiterst agressief te opereren en dat in een fiks deel van de
wereld……
Trouwens over expansiedrift gesproken, als er voor die claim één land in aanmerking komt is het wel de VS, met haar meer dan 800 militaire bases over de wereld en dat voor een ‘land’ dat zoals gezegd ten overvloede heeft bewezen uiterst agressief te werk te gaan, neem alleen al:

Gelukkig
dat China en Rusland intussen schoon genoeg hebben van de VS terreur
en niet meer terugdeinzen om de spierballen te laten zien (zo heeft Rusland de door de VS en NAVO lidstaten gevreesde S-300 raketten geleverd aan Syrië, dit tegen de agressie van Israël, de VS en een paar hielenlikkende NAVO partners. Het is de
hoogste tijd dat de VS zich volledig terugtrekt op eigen (gestolen)
bodem en daar blijft, ofwel: Yankee go home (and stay there)!!

naval operations in the South China Sea are built primarily around
needling China. China has built up a number of islands and claims
ownership of them. The US insists China doesn’t own them, and also
that they’re not really islands, so the USS Decatur, a
guided-missile destroyer, was sent to sail past one of the islands,
as a way to thumbing their nose at Chinese claims.
That
doesn’t work for China, who sent one of their own destroyers to
intercept the American ship, which was just 12 nautical miles off the
Spratly Islands. China called the US ship’s presence a “threat”
and said the Chinese ship was sent there to tell them to leave.
US
officials are now furious as
well, both because they intend to keep sailing past those islands to
spite China, and because
they say China’s ship was “unsafe” in getting so close to them,
forcing the USS Decatur to move to prevent a collision.
US
officials tend to over-emphasize the “unsafe” operations of
anyone confronting US warships, especially pushed when tensions are
mounting, as the US-China tensions have been in recent weeks.
Two
destroyers 45 yards from one another is close, but not unnavigable.
China’s ship forced the US ship to turn, which was the whole point
of the interception, to chase the USS Decatur out of what China
considers their territorial waters.
Generally,
a ship passing 12 miles from a small island would barely be noticed,
and China has previously ignored such operations. The Pentagon,
however, have emphasized that they are explicitly flouting Chinese
territorial claims with such sail-bys, and China apparently felt
obliged to respond.

In een
artikel met de titel: ‘It’s the Economy, Stupid’: What Really Drives US
Sanctions against Russia‘, stelt schrijver Arkady Savitsky (wat mij
betreft) ten overvloede dat de sancties van de VS opgelegd aan
Rusland, puur zijn ingegeven door (commercieel) eigenbelang.
Zo heeft
Trump Duitsland meermaals de wacht aangezegd te stoppen met het
Nord Stream 2 (NS2) project, een gaspijpleiding van Rusland naar
Duitsland, die niet over de grond van corrupte Oost-Europese staten als Oekraïne
wordt aangelegd, maar deels door o.a. de Oostzee. Waar Trump uiteraard de EU wil dwingen haar peperdure LNG te
kopen, gas dat met tankers moet worden aangevoerd…..
De Trump administratie wil dit om nog
enigszins de kosten terug te kunnen verdienen van de zwaar
gesubsidieerde winning van schaliegas in de VS……. Een winning waarin de kosten niet eens zijn berekend voor het verrampeneerde landschap, de vervuiling van de
ondergrond en grondwater, plus het lozen van enorme hoeveelheden
zwaar verontreinigd water in rivieren, dan wel direct in de
oceaan…….
Het VS ministerie van handel heeft 12 Russische firma’s genoemd die de ‘nationale veiligheid in gevaar zouden brengen’ en handelen ‘tegen het VS buitenlandbeleid….’ Daarbij zou je denken aan firma’s die het Pentagon en het ministerie van buitenlandse zaken hebben gehackt, echter de zaak steekt ‘iets anders’ in elkaar.
Savitsky
noemt het schaliegas verhaal niet, hij richt zich op de bescherming van de VS bedrijven in de
vliegtuigbouw, dus bedrijven als Boeing. Zoals gezegd gaat het niet hacken of andere vormen van spionage, zelfs niet om de
militaire tak van de luchtvaart, maar om de industrie voor de burgerluchtvaart, daar men in
Rusland plannen heeft voor het bouwen van vliegtuigen die de
concurrentie aangaan met o.a. bestaande VS toestellen.
Al is
het natuurlijk meer dan duidelijk dat de VS Rusland bankroet wil
helpen, iets dat de VS nog niet in 100 jaar zal lukken, daarvoor
heeft Rusland (gelukkig) veel te veel grondstoffen. De VS wil de
machtigste staat op de wereld blijven en aan die stoelpoten wordt
gezaagd door zowel Rusland als China, vandaar deze meer dan
belachelijke sancties, die in feite zijn gebaseerd op door de VS zelf
bedachte leugens en de door de VS zelf georganiseerde opstand en coup
in Oekraïne…… Of het enorme aantal leugens over de oorlog in Syrië, een oorlog waarvoor de VS de hoofdverantwoordelijke is……. Leugens en acties die met grote graagte worden
verspreid en gevolgd door de reguliere westerse (massa-) media en de hielenlikkers van de VS, waaronder de
EU lidstaten, het enige land in de EU dat daar nog enige kritiek op heeft is de Duitse premier Merkel……

The
US Department of Commerce has
imposed restrictions on
12 Russian corporations that are “acting
contrary to the national security or foreign policy interests of the
US.” The
notice has been published in the Federal
Register.
US corporations are banned from exporting dual-use goods to the
sanctioned companies.
A
closer look at the list makes one wonder. The companies under fire
have no relation to defense production and have no ties at all with
the Russian Ministry of Defense. None of them have signed any
contracts with the military. AeroComposite, part of Russia’s
state-run United
Aircraft Corporation,
produces wings for the civilian MC-21 airliner, Aviadvigatel produces
engines for military aviation, it has neither technology nor
experience to get involved in defense projects, Divetechnoservice is
a civilian diving equipment producer, Nilco Group deals in grain, oil
products, steel, wood, port services, paper, electronic parts and
cement.
It’s
not the military the US aims at this time. The real target is Russian
civil aviation, which is on the rise. It’s enough to remember that
as soon as Aeroflot Company announced its plans to acquire 100
Superjet SSJ-100 airliners instead of American Boeings, the US
Treasury said it
was considering the possibility of introducing sanctions against the
Russian company Sukhoi, allegedly because its combat planes may have
been used in Syrian chemical attacks.
A
closer look at the blacklist shows the US has sanctioned those who
are involved in the production of civilian airliner Irkut MC-21.
Aviadvigatel is to supply PD-14 and PD-35 engines, which cannot power
combat planes. AeroComposite, a producer of composites, is
responsible for the development and creation of the composite wing
for the aircraft. The MC-21 will be the world’s first airliner with
a capacity of more than 130 passengers to have composite-based wings.
The estimated share of composites in the overall design is 40%. So
far, the company has produced composite parts only for MC-21 and no
other aircraft.
True,
the share of Russia-produced components is growing. Russia belongs to
the club of the chosen. There are few aviation engines and composite
wings producers in the world. The US wants no competitors. The way to
deal with the problem is a sanctions war waged under the pretext of
fending off imaginary threats to national security instead of fair
competition.
The
US aims to strike the soft underbelly. Russia does buy some
components for the MC-21’s black wing abroad. Black wing is
specific revolutionary knowhow to radically enhance the aircraft’s
performance and make the new plane attractive for foreign customers.
The vacuum infusion technology used for mass production is a
breakthrough achievement. The Irkut is the only aircraft in the world
to combine a composite wing with a narrow-body. Today, only wide-body
aircraft boast composite wings.
Russia-produced
composite materials make the aircraft lighter and consequently
cheaper. Carbon fiber and binders may be a problem if sanctions are
in place. The US Commerce Department knows where to hit.
Engines
are also a problem. Until now MC-21s have been powered by Pratt &
Whitney engines. The PD-14 – the first new engine built in Russia
since the Soviet Union’s break-up – is ready to take their
place. It is 100 percent Russia-made. The PD-14 is going through
tests with serial production expected to start this year. With PD-14
operational, MC-21 will have an advantage over the competitors –
A320 and Boeing-737.
Avionics
is where Russia is lagging behind. Progress is there but it’s still
a weak point. The aircraft’s production depends on Rockwell
Collins. Honeywell, UTC Aerospace Systems, Goodrich Corporation,
Hamilton Sundstrand, Eaton, French Thales, British Meggitt, Swedish
CTT System and Israeli Elbit – each of them exports components for
the new Russian airliner.
It’s
impossible to substitute all the imported parts in one fell
swoop. The production of all the needed equipment in Russia will
take time and effort. At the same time it would greatly spur the
Russian airspace industry. Some components could be purchased in
other countries, such as China, to give the industry time to meet the
challenge. The worst outcome is a two-year delay in mass production
of MC-21. It’s sad but Russia can live with that.
The
other consequence – the US sanctions in place can scare customers
away. That’s the main goal the US is pursuing. The message is
“Don’t buy Russian even if it’s civilian products, be on the
safe side.” With no demand on the world market, the project may not
survive. This is the way to nip the Russian competitor in the bud.
The
sanctions will also negatively impact the plans to build a
Russia-Chinese wide-body airliner. Aviadvigatel is developing new
engine specifically for this plane. Its PD-35 will have no analogues
in the world. The project is the first and only challenge to the
monopoly of Boeing and Airbus. Russia is the only competitor with
experience of its own. The Soviet Union has built the Il-96, a
four-engined long-haul wide-body airliner
designed by Ilyushin.
That’s why China joined Russia in the effort – it needs its
expertise. The last thing the US wants is to see this project come
into life. It praises free market until its monopoly is preserved.
The emergence of competitors makes America forget its principles and
shift to protectionist policy. International agreements and the rules
of WTO become immediately forgotten. The Russia’s technological
progress is met with punitive measures.
Forget
about Crimea, Ukraine, Syria, the Skripal poisoning story and other
things not even mentioned by President Trump in his address to
the UN Security Council on September 27. The US uses pressure to
eliminate competitors and do away with any hope for fair competition.
Washington protects Boeing by resorting to the policy of twisting
arms.
On September 24, the EU, Russia, China and Iran met on the sidelines
of the UN General Assembly to agree on introducing a special purpose
vehicle (SPV) to counter US sanctions against Iran. That’s the
first and a very significant step to repel the US attacks.
The
EU, Russia, China and other nations face a common threat. They can
unite and on their own rules while creating their own markets
protected from American pressure with fair competition as the basic
principle. If the US wants to be isolated, let it. It’s free to
choose its fate but so are others. The time has come to teach the
bully a lesson.

geval van totaal ongeloofwaardig regeringsbeleid: de Duitse coalitie

direct betrokken zijn bij de oorlog in Jemen. Echter het is volgens
Anti-Media en de Daily Sabah niet duidelijk wie die ‘direct betrokken partijen’ zijn bij deze oorlog, die zoals in de kop gezegd is uitgedraaid op een genocide gericht tegen de sjiitische Jemenitische bevolking…….
in tegenstelling tot haar eigen regeerakkoord, heeft de Duitse regering onder Merkel besloten een wapenexport ter waarde van 295 miljoen dollar voor Saoedi-Arabië goed te keuren…….. Een Turkse krant kwam verder met het nieuws dat de Duitse regering het afgelopen halfjaar voor 28 miljoen dollar aan wapencontracten heeft goedgekeurd voor de deelnemende landen aan de andere deelnemers van de Saoedische terreurcoalitie, die helpen met met de uitvoering van de genocide in Jemen……
Wel het
lijkt me duidelijk dat de Duitse ‘christenen’ en de zogenaamde
sociaaldemocraten van de SPD onder ‘direct betrokken landen’, niet de volgende landen verstaan: de
reli-fascistische dictatuur Saoedi-Arabië, de kleine dictaturen van
de Verenigde Arabische Emiraten (VAE), de militaire junta in Egypte en de Marokkaanse koninklijke dictatuur…….. Ofwel de regering van Duitsland houdt het volk voor dat Duitse wapenfabrikanten geen wapens leveren aan dictaturen, terwijl dezelfde regering gewoon wapenvergunningen voor dat soort landen afgeeft, zelfs als ze bezig zijn met het uitvoeren van een genocide……..
Moet je
nagaan: ondertussen is Duitsland gespleten door de ‘vluchtelingencrisis’ en worden er bijna dagelijks tirades in de media afgestoken
over het veel te grote aantal vluchtelingen in Duitsland…… Duitsland waar de politici zich meer en meer laten zien als tegenstanders van het opnemen van vluchtelingen, om zo de neonazi’s de wind uit de zeilen te nemen, terwijl
dezelfde hypocriete politici de voorwaarden helpen scheppen, waarop
mensen uit wanhoop besluiten te vluchten uit hun moederland en een hachelijke
tocht beginnen richting EU, waarbij een groot aantal van hen het leven verliest…..
Het is
de hoogste tijd dat het Internationaal Strafhof (ICC) in Den Haag een
internationaal een persbericht laat uitgaan, waarin het de deelnemende
landen bij het uitvoeren van de genocide in Jemen en hen zal vervolgen voor die genocide. Uiteraard geldt hetzelfde voor de VS, GB en Duitsland, die hand en
spandiensten bewijzen aan de Saoedische terreurcoalitie. Waar de VS en GB naast het leveren van wapens (zoals Duitsland), ook militaire hardware leveren als vliegend, rollend en varend
oorlogstuig en beide NAVO-lidstaten daarbovenop de Saoedische militairen trainen……. De VS gaat
nog het meest ver, dit land doet de coördinatie van de
luchtbombardementen van de Saoedische terreurcoalitie en tankt daarbij de
straaljagers en bommenwerpers van het moorddadige geteisem in vlucht af, zodat deze zo efficiënt en zo lang mogelijk kunnen bombarderen…….
Voorts
helpt de VS op zee met de blokkades voor de door de Houthi’s
beheerste gebieden in Jemen, een blokkade die samen met die op het
land hebben gezorgd voor een groot tekort aan medicijnen, voedsel,
water en brandstof (o.a. voor generatoren van ziekenhuizen), daar de
Saoedische coalitie niet alleen de elektriciteitscentrales hebben
gebombardeerd, maar ook watervoorzieningen,
waterzuiveringsinstallaties, de infrastructuur (inclusief het
rioleringssysteem), dit nog naast het bombarderen van scholen,
schoolbussen, hele huizenblokken en ziekenhuizen…..
Het

Germany
has approved arms exports to Saudi Arabia worth $295 million in
contravention of the coalition government’s own rules banning the
transfer of weapons to countries “directly” involved in the Yemen
war, reported the Daily Sabah.
Citing
the country’s Economy Ministry figures , the Turkish paper also
reported that the other eight countries involved in the Yemen
conflict as part of the Saudi-led alliance received arms worth $28
million from Germany in the last six months.
It’s
thought that between 14 March and 23 September the government
approved 87 export permits for the members of the alliance.
The
exports are said to have been approved despite an agreement not to
sell arms to countries “directly” involved in the Yemen war. The
deal was forged during the formation of the coalition between
Chancellor Angela Merkel’s conservative bloc and the Social
Democrats in March after months of political wrangling. It was not
made clear which countries were meant by the phrase “directly”.
The
war between the Saudis and the Iranian-backed Houthi group has raged
since 2015, with devastating effect. A senior UN official warned that
as a result of the conflict, at
least one child dies every ten minutes.

grootste donor van politici in de VS en van de Trump campagne is
niet Rusland, noch heeft Rusland de verkiezingen of het beleid van
Trump kunnen beïnvloeden, nee die grootste donor en manipulator van de VS presidentsverkiezingen en die achter het buitenlandbeleid van de Trump administratie, is zionist en casino

Deze
Adelson is ronduit een ultrarechtse rotploert, zeg maar gerust
fascist, die het liefst Iran zou willen aanvallen met kernraketten,

Met donaties van figuren als Adelson en het ongelofelijk smerig campagne voeren van hare
kwaadaardigheid Hillary Clinton, kon Trump het presidentschap van de VS bemachtigen. Eén en ander heeft Adelson geen windeieren gelegd, hij
heeft zoals gezegd een dikke vinger in de VS buitenlandpolitiek……
Zo heeft
Adelson regelmatig één op één contact met Trump en heeft hij
het voor elkaar gekregen dat de VS haar ambassade naar Jeruzalem
heeft verplaatst (althans een deel van die ambassade)…… Voorts
heeft hij Trump zover gekregen geen humanitaire hulp meer te geven
aan de Palestijnen, die Adelson nog liever vandaag dan morgen zou
willen vernietigen…… Sterker nog: Adelson ontkent domweg dat er
sprake is van Palestijnen, ofwel het zijn ‘gewoon vieze arabieren waar je maar één
ding mee kan doen…..’ (dat laatste heeft hij niet letterlijk gezegd echter dit is wel tussen de regels door te lezen…) De intrekking van het budget voor de VN organisatie t.b.v. Palestijnse vluchtelingen, de UNRWA door Trump, is dan ook te danken aan de inzet van Adelson…..*
Uiteraard
heeft Adelson bij Trump gelobbyd voor vrienden van hem, zoals hare
kwaadaardigheid Nikki Haley, opperploert Mike Pompeo en
oorlogsmisdadiger John Bolton…….
Het zal
je niet verbazen dat Adelson de pest heeft aan democratie, zoals hij
meer dan eens heeft gezegd…..

to publicly available campaign finance data, Sheldon Adelson – the
conservative, Zionist, casino billionaire –is now the
biggest spender on federal elections in
all of American politics. Adelson, who was the top donor to Donald
Trump’s presidential campaign and the Republican Party in 2016, has
cemented his role as the top political donor in the country after
giving $55 million in recent months to Republicans in an effort to
help the party keep its majority in both houses of Congress.
Adelson’s
willingness to help the GOP stay in power is likely born out of his
desire to protect the massive investment he placed in the party last
election cycle. In 2016, the Republican mega-donor gave
heavily to
the Trump campaign and Republicans, donating $35 million to the
former and $55 million to the top two Republican Super PACs — the
Congressional Leadership Fund and the Senate Leadership Fund —
during that election cycle.
Adelson’s
decision to again donate tens of millions of dollars to Republican
efforts to stay in power is a direct consequence of how successfully
Adelson has been able to influence U.S. policy since Trump and the
GOP rode to victory in the last election cycle.
A New
York Times article
on Adelson, titled “Sheldon
Adelson Sees a Lot to Like in Trump’s Washington,”
notes that Adelson “enjoys a direct line to the president.”
Furthermore, Adelson and Trump regularly meet once a month “in
private in-person meetings and phone conversations” that Adelson
has used to push major changes to U.S. policy that Trump has made
reality — such as moving the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to
Jerusalem and cutting aid to Palestinian refugees, among others.
Adelson’s
new title as the top spender in all U.S. elections shows that he,
along with his wife, is willing to spend big to keep that direct line
open in the months and years ahead. Citing sources close to the
Adelsons, the Times writes that
the Adelsons’ massive expenditures in federal elections this cycle
are being made because he and his wife believe that “Republican
control of the House and the Senate is so vital to maintaining these
[right-wing and pro-Zionist] policies” and their influence in
Washington and at the White House.
The
fact that Adelson is “pleased-as-punch”
with Trump’s performance as president should hardly come as a
surprise, given that the president has fulfilled his campaign
promises that were of prime importance to Adelson, while many of his
other campaign promises – namely those that were populist or
anti-war in nature – have rung hollow.
These
Adelson-promoted policies include the moving of the U.S. embassy in
Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, which Adelson had aggressively
promoted and even helped
to finance,
as well as removing the
U.S. from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), better
known as the Iran nuclear deal. Another recent policy move bearing
Adelson’s fingerprints is the U.S. decision to withdraw its funding
for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees
(UNRWA), as Adelson once
infamously stated that
“there’s no such thing as a Palestinian.”
As
previously mentioned, The
New York Times recently
noted that
the cutting of aid to Palestinians, the U.S.’ removal from JCPOA,
and the Jerusalem embassy move all resulted from private
in-person meetings and phone conversations between Adelson and Trump.
Adelson
has also been successful in stocking the Trump administration with
politicians he has long supported as well as his confidantes.
Adelson-supported appointees include Nikki Haley, long-time
recipient of
Adelson campaign funds who now serves as U.S.
ambassador to the UN;
Mike Pompeo, former CIA director who has advocated for bombing
Iran and
now serves as secretary
of state;
and John Bolton, a close
confidante of Adelson,
who is now national security adviser.
Adelson
was also
instrumental in
removing Pompeo and Bolton’s predecessors, Rex Tillerson and H.R.
McMaster, from their respective posts, owing to their support for
JCPOA and their alleged “anti-Israel”
positions.
Speculation has recently grown that Secretary of Defense James
Mattis may
share their fate for
similarly opposing Adelson’s positions.
Yet,
upon closer examination, these Adelson-driven personnel and policy
moves enacted by Trump seem to merely be the foundation for the
so-called “Adelson
agenda,”
a set of convergent goals that could potentially result in thousands
of deaths in the Middle East and embroil the U.S. in yet another
regime-change war.
While
Adelson’s top-donor status has allowed him unprecedented access to
the Trump administration and has resulted in dramatic changes to U.S.
policy, there is every indication that the worst is yet to come. This
is because, while the Adelson’s past efforts to influence Trump
administration policy have had undeniably negative effects, they have
yet to embroil the U.S. in another regime-change war or lead to the
destruction of entire nations.
Yet,
the current path the administration is treading at Adelson’s behest
— particularly regarding Iran, Syria and Palestine — has the
potential to unleash havoc in the Middle East and beyond, in a way
not yet seen during Trump’s young presidency.
Indeed,
one need only look at Adelson’s past statements on Iran to
understand just how dangerous this man’s influence is to any
prospect of peace in the Middle East.
As
an example, during the negotiations that eventually led to the Iran
nuclear deal, Adelson
publicly advocated for
a U.S. nuclear attack on Iran without
provocation, so
the U.S. could “impose its demands [on Iran] from a position of
strength.”
More
specifically, Adelson’s “negotiation” plan involved the U.S.
dropping a nuclear bomb in the middle of the Iranian desert and then
threatening to drop “the next one […] in the middle of Tehran”
to show that “we mean business.” Tehran, Iran’s capital, is
home to nearly 9 million people with 15 million more in its suburbs.
Were Tehran to be attacked with nuclear weapons, an
estimated 7 million would
die within moments.
Furthermore,
any sort of diplomatic engagement with Iran, according
to Adelson,
is “the worst negotiating tactic I could ever imagine.”
In
other words, Adelson’s vision for engaging Iran considers the
dropping of nuclear weapons on a country, including its heavily
populated capital city — for no reason other than to show that the
U.S. “means business” — a reasonable tactic.
With
the Trump administration now applying “maximum pressure” to Iran,
Adelson’s vision for engaging the Islamic Republic is of critical
importance. For instance, if this “maximum pressure” campaign —
currently a combination of draconian sanctions, bullying Iran’s
trading partners, and covert CIA-driven regime-change operations —
ultimately fails, Adelson is likely to push Trump towards more
drastic “negotiation” tactics in order to force Iran into a “new
treaty” designed by and for pro-Israel interests that seek to
eliminate Iran as a regional player. Given that many entities–
including Europe, China and Turkey — are rejecting U.S. calls to
isolate Iran, this is a likely scenario that must be considered.
As
his past statements make clear, Adelson — in such a case — is
likely to pressure Trump to use military tactics, such as preemptive
bombings, to force Iran to yield. Even though such a move would
likely embroil Iran, the U.S. and potentially other important nations
in a major war, Trump has shown that he has so far been willing to
take Adelson’s “advice” regardless of consequences, including
international backlash or even war.
Beyond
the fact that Adelson’s unprecedented influence on U.S. politics is
set to create much more instability than past policies he has
promoted, lies another unsettling truth: for less than $150 million —
pocket change for such a plutocrat — Adelson has effectively bought
the presidency and Congress. His role as top political donor has
given him a “direct line” to the president and unprecedented
access to the Republican party, who are beholden to his desires and
whims as their paymaster.
Indeed,
crossing Adelson — as shown by the high-profile firings of McMaster
and Tillerson — has its steep price, and obeying Adelson now seems
to be the most essential step that Trump and other Republicans must
follow to stay in power.
Furthermore,
Adelson is also the
primary driver behind
Israeli policy, given his role as a key donor to and long-time backer
of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and his role as owner
and funder of
Israel’s most widely circulated Hebrew-language newspaper, Israel
Hayom.
Thus, when considering critiques of U.S. politics as unduly
influenced by Israel, Adelson’s role is again clear as day. If
Israel is driving the U.S.’s foreign policy, it is not only because
Adelson wills it but because Adelson is personally
driving the policies of both the
U.S. and Israel.
In
2014, a Princeton University study demonstrated
that —
beyond any doubt — the U.S. is an oligarchy, beholden to the
interests of the rich and the powerful, not the interests of the
majority of its citizens. Though the presence and power of the
oligarchy is nothing new, what is notable is that a massive chunk of
it is now under the control of a single individual — a man who has
repeatedly shown that he has no empathy or respect for human life and
is entirely
on board with
totalitarianism. Indeed, Adelson has made it clear time
and again that
he is no fan of democracy.
Americans,
meet your new, unelected overlord — Sheldon Adelson — because, as
long as the U.S. political system is “hostage
to his fortune,”
he’s not going anywhere.

schrijft Johnstone over een optreden van VS opperploert Giuliani tijdens een bijeenkomst van de al jaren als terreurorganisatie aangemerkte Iraanse
MEK*.
De VS
dwingt met de volkomen onterechte hernieuwde sancties het Iraanse
bewind geweldloos tot aftreden, aldus Giuliani die uiteraard deze sancties wel terecht vindt, waarbij hij wijst op
de wanhoop bij veel Iraniërs, die zelfs
hun organen willen verkopen voor dollars (als dat al waar is trouwens…)…. Voorts zouden
Iraniërs al honger lijden en dat zal ongetwijfeld tot veel
sterfgevallen leiden, aldus de verwachting van Giuliani……
Door de
onvrede zal men de straat opgaan en ondanks dat daarvoor al veel
Iraniërs overleden zullen zijn, heeft duivel Giuliani het gore lef te
stellen dat het dan om een geweldloze revolutie zal gaan…….. Dit nog naast het geweld dat de CIA binnen de Iraanse grenzen gebruikt en stimuleert (de CIA is nog altijd een onderdeel van de VS terreurmachine….), daarover zo meer.
Giuliani
is bepaald geen hoogvlieger en deze superschoft begrijpt dan ook
niet, dat voordat iets dergelijks werkelijk in gang gezet kan worden,
de fundamentalisten de macht zullen grijpen en die krijg je niet weg
met door de VS georganiseerde opstanden…….. Natuurlijk lult
Giuliani daar niet over, echter de CIA is al jaren op Iraans

Just
when you thought this administration couldn’t get more cartoonishly
villainous, Trump lawyer and Simon Bar Sinister stunt double Rudy
Giuliani takes to the stage and enthuses about how US sanctions are
making Iranian citizens so desperate they are offering to sell their
internal organs for $500 in order to stay alive. “Probably
a fortune in Iran today. This is truly pitiful!” he crowed
triumphantly to
the crowd at the Iran Uprising Summit in New York on Saturday,
pleased as punch by the US government’s success in torturing
everyday Iranians with starvation.
Giuliani,
who is basically what you’d get if necrophilia and racist police
shootings had a baby, fumbled his way through a paid speech for the
MEK terror cult with all the grace of a drunken creepy uncle MCing
his way through a family wedding. In it he not only gloated over the
starvation and severe impoverishment of Iranian civilians, but openly
proclaimed that regime change was coming to Iran due to the actions
of the Trump administration.
“I
don’t know when we’re going to overthrow them. It could be in a
few days, months, a couple of years, but it’s going to happen.
They’re going to be overthrown.” Guiliani said
definitively.
“The people of Iran have obviously now had enough. The sanctions
are working. The currency is going to nothing! They’re where Russia
was. They’re where Poland was. We see signs of young men and women
saying ‘Give me some food!’ We saw a sign of a man trying to sell
his internal organs for five hundred American dollars – probably a
fortune in Iran today! This is truly pitiful. These are the kinds of
conditions that lead to successful revolution, and God willing,
non-violent revolution.”
At the MEK regime change cult’s Iran Uprising Summit, Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani proclaims in paid address, “They will be overthrown!” He then celebrates reports of desperate Iranians seeking to sell their organs and begging for food due to US sanctions.

pitiful, he reckons. That’s like standing on a patient’s oxygen
hose at the hospital and then making fun of them for gasping for air.
Sanctions are the only legal act of war that deliberately target
innocent civilians, and here is Giuliani mocking people for the
suffering he is gleefully supporting inflicting.
Corpse
bride Nikki Haley was quick
to distance the Trump administration from
Giuliani’s regime change rhetoric, as was the US State
Department in
a statement to
Reuters, because as we saw
them do with Libya and
as we’ve seen
them attempt with Syria,
the US government has ever since the disastrous Iraq invasion had a
standing policy of denying that it is pushing for regime change in
key strategic regions while doing exactly that. But Giuliani has
been repeatedly
appearing at these eventsspouting
the exact
same regime change rhetoric while
retaining employment as Trump’s lawyer, and at no time has the
president or anyone else in the administration made him stop. The
administration can’t actually have that much of a problem with
Giuliani’s schtick; if it did Giuliani would either stop or be
fired.
Neither
has happened. Giuliani keeps getting these lucrative
speaking gigs where
he champions regime change again and again, which was
also done at another such event by
murderous psychopath John Bolton not long before he was hired as
Trump’s National Security Advisor. Giuliani’s words have the
tacit blessing of the Trump administration.
Giuliani
was hired to speak alongside Maryam Rajavi, the leader of the
Mujahideen e Khalq (MEK), a paramilitary cult that
was only recently delisted
by Hillary Clinton as
a designated terror group at the behest of CIA and FBI insiders and
other shadow government stalwarts. The MEK was originally listed as a
terrorist group because it has
killed Americans and has an extensive history of committing acts of
terrorism,
and has recently
been exposed in
operating an extensive social media propaganda campaign to
manufacture support for Iranian regime change in the west.
Rajavi boasted
at the event that
her group has organized special “Units of Rebellion” to run riots
and interference inside Iran, which was a pretty interesting thing to
say on the very same day that there
was a terror attack on
a military parade in the Iranian city of Ahvaz that slaughtered
24 people and wounded many more.

was no inference that the MEK was responsible for this particular
attack, but it’s kind of fascinating that while Nikki Haley
was telling
Iran to
“look in the mirror” with regard to the attack on Ahvaz because
in her view, the attack came from organic civil unrest which is the
fault of the Iranian government, Giuliani was celebrating that the
sanctions applied by the US were working because they were causing
the kind of intense suffering on civilians that leads to civil unrest
and a “successful revolution”, while Rajavi was saying that her
(exiled) group was planning on riots and provocations to stimulate
civil unrest. Not to mention the fact that the
coup-staging CIA recently escalated
covert operations in
that nation.
How
exactly do they think this works? You can’t be boasting about your
success at provoking civil unrest while pretending you’re just an
innocent-but-concerned bystander who had his hands in his pockets the
whole time, officer. Not a thing.
They
think we’re stupid. They must, or they’d never try to get away
with this bullshit. Eyes and ears open, clear-eyed rebels. The veils
are being pulled back almost quicker than we can process.

Hoorde dat oorlogsmisdadiger Obama in Nederland is om hier tegen een godsvermogen een door een ander geschreven praatje af te steken.
Een mooie gelegenheid voor het Internationaal Strafhof (ICC) om Obama te arresteren en hem verantwoordelijk te houden voor het enorme aantal moorden dat hij op zijn naam heeft staan, moorden begaan in de door hem illegaal begonnen oorlogen tegen Libië en Syrië en voor het doorgaan met moorden in landen als Afghanistan en Irak. Voorts is Obama verantwoordelijk voor de staatsgrepen in Oekraïne* en Honduras, staatsgrepen die intussen aan een groot aantal mensen het leven hebben gekost.
Me dunkt meer dan genoeg punten (er zijn er nog veel meer te vinden, neem de steun voor de Saoedische terreurcoalitie die een genocide uitvoert in Jemen) om ‘vredesduif’ en superoplichter Obama tot een levenslange gevangenisstraf te veroordelen!!
* Hare kwaadaardigheid Hillary Clinton stak daar maar liefst 4 miljard dollar in, die in eerste instantie werd gestoken in ‘een opstand’, die zoals de bedoeling was, uitliep op een staatsgreep tegen de democratisch gekozen regering Janoekovytsj, waarna de VS een neonazi-junta parachuteerde, een junta o.l.v. de uiterst corrupte Porosjenko…. Door deze coup werd Oekraïne in een oorlog gestort tegen burgers die (democratisch) voor Janoekovytsj hadden gekozen, een oorlog gesteund door de Obama administratie….. Burgers die volkomen terecht weigerden en weigeren te leven onder de eerder genoemde neonazi-junta…… Hetzelfde recept werd gekozen voor Syrië, echter daar liep ‘de opstand’ spaak en werd het land door toedoen van de VS (dus Obama) in een vreselijke oorlog gestort……. (de opstand in Syrië werd al vanaf 2006 voorbereid door de VS, dus onder de administratie van George W. Bush)
Ontving
een artikel van Caitlin Johnstone dat begint met de veroordeling van
Bill Cosby, waar ze terecht wijst op de vrouwonvriendelijkheid in de
media, o.a.met het aanhalen van het praatje dat Cosby al decennia
lang ‘héél komisch’ in de media herhaalde, dat je vrouwen best kan drogeren om
ze daarna te misbruiken.
Over
Cosby is gelukkig al genoeg geschreven en ben blij dat de schoft tot
een onvoorwaardelijke gevangenisstraf is veroordeeld, hier de link naar het hele artikel van Johnstone.
Johnstone
gaat in haar betoog over op de andere rol van de massamedia
in de VS bij het hersenspoelen van het volk in voorbereiding op weer een andere illegale oorlog, dan wel hen voor te liegen over acties bijvoorbeeld van een land als
Rusland. (overigens gebeurt hetzelfde in de EU en dus ook in Nederland, zo worden we bijna dagelijks keihard voorgelogen over de oorlog in Syrië…..)

NEW YORK (AP) — National Security adviser Bolton: US troops not leaving Syria ‘as long as Iranian troops are outside Iranian borders’
President
Trump’s National Security Advisor John Bolton is a PNAC founder, a
lead architect of the Iraq invasion, and once threatened
to murder a diplomat’s sons for
standing in the way of the rape of Iraq. He is the neocon’s neocon,
and his respect for both national and personal sovereignty is so
nonexistent that I would not be the slightest bit surprised to learn
that he has raped his wife or anyone else. Sovereignty is such a
non-thing in Bolton’s reality tunnel that he
recently claimed that
Russia giving Syria air defense systems to defend its own airspace
“would be a significant escalation by the Russians,” and added
that US troops are going to remain in Syria “as long as Iranian
troops are outside Iranian borders, and that includes Iranian proxies
and militias.”
To
be clear, the US military is in Syria without the permission of the
Syrian government, while the Iranian military and its so-called
proxies are there at the invitation of the Syrian government to help
combat the terrorist forces which have overrun the nation with the
help of the US-centralized empire. Bolton is the kind of guy that
crashes your party uninvited, drinks all the punch and knocks over
the snack table, and when your boyfriend asks him to leave, he tells
you he’s not leaving until your boyfriend leaves first. That’s
essentially what he’s saying.
The
gall it takes to say that your military will continue illegally
occupying a sovereign nation for as long as its allies continue to do
the thing that allies do is such a grotesque perversion of the
concept of sovereignty that if more Americans had a better
understanding of that concept John Bolton would have caused national
outrage by saying it. But of course he didn’t, because they don’t.
It’s just assumed that America is entitled to decide what sovereign
nations do with their own allies, and that it is allowed to invade
and occupy their land to force them to comply.

Americans
accept this gross violation of sovereignty because they have been
propagandized to accept it by
the mass media machine which
spends all day every day manufacturing
support for
the agendas of those who control the most humans. But this is a
violation of Americans’ mental sovereignty, in exactly the same way
slipping a rape drug into a woman’s drink is a violation of her
sexual sovereignty. Just as Bill Cosby made it his life’s mission
to try and manufacture the illusion of sexual consent from women
using rape drugs, the most powerful people in the world have been
using the mass media to try and manufacture the illusion of consent
for their agendas of war, oppression and ecocide.
It
is not America’s place to tell Syria and Iran what they’re
allowed to do inside one another’s borders any more than it’s the
government’s place to tell a woman what she can and cannot do
inside her own body, whether that be having sex with whom she pleases
or having an abortion if she decides that’s in her best interest.
It is not the plutocrats’ place to slip manipulative narratives
into the minds of the masses any more than it was Bill Cosby’s
place to slip rape drugs into a woman’s drink. It is not America’s
place to invade a sovereign nation and occupy its land to force it to
obey its commands any more than it was Bill Cosby’s place to insert
his penis into a drugged woman.
Power
depends on systematic and relentless violations of sovereignty in
myriad forms around the world, which is why powerful people act like
such disgusting, rapey creeps all the time. In a healthy world, which
I firmly believe we can create, a deep understanding of sovereignty
in all its forms will replace this toxic dynamic in which the rapey
fingers of power are constantly inserting themselves into lives,
minds and nations in order to dominate and control them. In such a
society, everything from rape to imperialism to propaganda will stand
out like a black fly on a white sheet of paper and be expelled like a
pathogen by a healthy immune system.

De bekendmaking van Rusland dat het de S-300 raketten aan Syrië wil leveren, wekte de woede van psychopaat, oorlogsmisdadiger en oorlogshitser Bolton, die het beest Trump o.a. adviseert op het gebied van de ‘buitenland politiek…’
Als
gevolg van het neerhalen van een Russisch militair vliegtuig door
terreurstaat Israël, heeft Bolton Rusland gewaarschuwd haar
aanwezigheid in Syrië niet uit te breiden met de zo door Israël en de
VS gevreesde Russische S-300 raketten (terwijl de VS zelf al 2 maal onterecht kruisraketten afschoot op Syrische doelen….).
Levering van deze raketten aan Syrië is bepaald niet vreemd als je de
brutaliteit van de Israëlische luchtmacht ziet, zo maakt het ‘te onpas
en te onpas’ gebruik van het Libanese luchtruim om haar (illegale) terreur te
zaaien in Syrië >> met de S-300 raketten kunnen de Israëlische straaljagers uit de lucht worden gehaald.
Geen
hond die het over dat laatste heeft, alsof het de normaalste zaak van
de wereld is dat een uiterst agressieve staat bombardementsvluchten
uitvoert, met als aanvliegroute een ander land, zoals gezegd Libanon…….. In feite is dat een
oorlogsmisdaad en zoals je waarschijnlijk wel weet in het plegen van oorlogsmisdaden
behoort Israël tot de wereld top 3 (met op nummer 1 terreurentiteit VS en
nummer 3 de reli-fascistische terreurstaat Saoedi-Arabië).
Bolton wenst voorts niets te weten over het sluiten
van het luchtruim voor gebieden waar Rusland actief is, wat Rusland en Syrië volgens zeggen zouden overwegen na het neerhalen van het Russische militaire vliegtuig. Dit terwijl er al langere tijd geruchten rondgaan dat
de VS zelf ‘no-fly zones’ in Syrië wil instellen, waar de straaljagers en bommenwerpers van dat land nooit zijn aangevallen door Syrië of Rusland……
In feite
stelt Bolton dat er stront aan de knikker komt als de Syrische
defensie werkelijk een bedreiging zou worden voor de ongebreidelde
illegale Israëlische en VS terreur in haar land (terreur is altijd
illegaal, maar het wordt tijd dat iedereen het beest bij de naam gaat
noemen)
Het is
voor de Syrische bevolking te hopen dat Rusland nu op haar strepen
blijft staan en zich niet laat intimideren door de VS.

A
terrible beauty was born last night with the sequence of dramatic
events taking a curious turn, following the shooting down of the
Russian plane on September 17 near the coastline of Latakia, Syria,
killing fifteen personnel on board the aircraft.
After
a meticulous investigation by the Russian side, Moscow has blamed
Israel. It has also constituted a criminal case. Indeed, under
international law, a criminal act took place and a crime is per se
accountable and punishable. Tel Aviv must be acutely conscious of
that.
Meanwhile,
Russia has begun initiating moves that ensure that such tragic
incidents do not recur. As initial step, Moscow proposes to equip
Syrian air defence establishment with the formidable S-300 missile
defence system. More such measures are expected in the coming days
and weeks.
At
which point, last night, US National Security Advisor John Bolton
came in from the cold and tweeted that the Russian move regarding
S-300 is a “significant escalation” and that Moscow should
“reconsider”. Washington has decided to make a lateral entry into
what so far wore the look of a Russian-Israeli-Syrian triangle. It
stands to reason that Bolton has been watching developments with an
eagle’s eye all but kept mum until Russia made its first big move.
Last
night, the Russian-Israeli-Syrian triangle morphed into a
US-Russian-Israeli triangle. That in turn brings up the big question:
Wasn’t the latter triangle the real one all along? Put differently,
was Israel acting alone at all on September 17 or is it that Tel Aviv
pulled strings in Washington for the big daddy to intervene since
Moscow turned on the heat?
In
either case, a terrible beauty is born, as Bolton’s crisp, cryptic
wording underlines. He didn’t elaborate what he meant by
“significant escalation” and, equally, he left a challenge
vaguely suspended in the air by calling for a Russian rethink on the
S-300 decision. Importantly, Bolton’s tweet ignored Moscow’s
clarification at the highest level on Monday that the Russian
motivation is principally to “avert any potential threat” to the
lives of Russian personnel deployed to Syria.
Simply
put, what emerges from Bolton’s tweet is that any Russian moves
towards the “significant” strengthening of the Syrian capability
to deter aggression or closing the Syrian air space in regions where
Russian personnel are deployed will not find favor with Washington.
This is a curious stance, to say the least. Especially when there are
strong and persistent rumors that the US is also feverishly working
to establish a “no-fly zone” in northeastern Syria that might
possibly cover a big swathe of territory stretching from Manbij in
Aleppo province to Deir Ezzor bordering the Euphrates, and that an
advanced air defence and radar system has already been established
near the Turkish border with northern Syria’s Ayn al-Arab (also
known as Kobani), held by Kurdish groups. This is, by the way,
despite the fact that the ISIS is not known to possess any capability
to stage air attacks.
That
is to say, one the one hand, US is establishing an air defence system
to protect its Kurdish allies in Syria from attacks while on the
other hand, it is contesting any Russian move to strengthen the
deterrent capability of the Syrian government against Israeli air
attacks. What is the game plan?
The
US strategy in Syria has phenomenally evolved through the past
one-year period from the professed agenda of fighting terrorism to
shaping the political future of Syria. The US has all but
acknowledged its intention to keep an open-ended presence in Syria.
President Trump no longer talks about a withdrawal of US troops from
Syria. Alongside, Washington has also reopened the regime agenda in
Syria.
All
in all, it must be understood very clearly that the US not only
refuses to accept defeat in the Syrian conflict, which it engineered
some 7 years ago, but is determined to be the winner, and will use
all power at its disposal to reach that desired goal. This means that
the Washington expects Moscow not to stand in the way of the
Pentagon’s action plan to degrade the Syrian government forces to a
point where they stood in a priori history in mid-2015 before the
Russian intervention.
Enter
Israel. The US-Israeli congruence in the above project does not need
elaboration, because a regime change in Syria and the potential
dismemberment of that country could guarantee that Israel’s illegal
occupation of the Golan Heights will never be challenged on the
ground, leaving the Trump administration a free hand to accord
international legitimacy to that occupation as part of any “Syrian
settlement”.
Suffice
to say, Russia is the proverbial dog in the Syrian manger. Iran’s
presence in Syria is more of a nuisance that can be tackled
separately by Israel, but so long as Russian aerospace capabilities
provide cover for the Syrian government forces, the US and Israel run
into headwinds in demolishing them systematically for advancing the
regime change project.
The
logical conclusion of the US-Israeli project lies in the removal of
the Russian bases from Syrian territory. Neither the US nor Israel
can countenance a military presence superior to Israel’s in the
entire Middle East region. The actual Russian deployment to Syria may
not be big, but Israel is very well aware that Russia has vast
strategic depth, which it cannot hope to match.
The
bottom line is that so long as Russia has a strategic presence in the
Middle East, Israel cannot regain its military dominance in the
region. And time doesn’t work in Israel’s favour, either. Iran is
rising and Turkey remains unfriendly. The sooner things get done, the
better for Israel – preferably while Trump remains in office.
Clearly,
Bolton has thrown down the gauntlet. The tragic incident of September
17 cannot be viewed in isolation.
