Nadat vorige maand een massagraf bij een rooms-katholieke staatskostschool de overblijfselen werden gevonden van 215 kinderen behorend tot de oorspronkelijke bevolking, meldde Radio1 gisteravond in het programma ‘Met het Oog op Morgen’ dat er bij een andere ook rooms-katholieke kostschool, de Kamloops residential school in Saskatchewan, de overblijfselen van 751 kinderen zijn gevonden, dat is het aantal overblijfselen die men met speciale apparatuur (grondradar) kon tellen…… Het gaat hier niet om een massagraf maar om afzonderlijke graven.
Schande dat niet de Canadese overheid deze onderzoeken doet, maar een team met leden van de oorspronkelijke bevolking (‘indianen’)….. Des te wranger daar de Canadese premier Trudeau na de eerste vondst de rooms-katholieke kerk wilde aanklagen voor de vreselijke omgang met kinderen in die ‘kostschool’, terwijl de Canadese overheid evenveel verantwoordelijkheid draagt…… Met hulp van de plaatselijke autoriteiten werden kinderen letterlijk uit handen van hun ouders gerukt om daarna in door de Canadese overheid gebouwde scholen te worden gemarteld (tot de dood toe) door psychopathische rooms-katholieke en protestantse schoften…….
Opmerkelijk dat er gisteren en vandaag amper over de vondst werd gesproken op de landelijke radio nieuwszenders van Nederland, Duitsland en Groot-Brittannië (inclusief Schotland), me dunkt dat de vondst van 751 kinderen toch minstens één dag lang tot de hoofdonderwerpen zou moeten behoren, maar blijkbaar vindt men dat de rooms-katholieke kerk al genoeg is gedemoniseerd voor het vreselijke kindermisbruik, dat overigens ook op die kostscholen in Canada tot de dagelijkse praktijk behoorde, aldus een deskundige op Radio1…….
Dat was dan ook de enige uitzondering (althans voor zover bij mij bekend) wat betreft de aandacht voor deze zaak en hiervoor al even aangehaald: in het Radio1 programma ‘Met het Oog op Morgen’ was Serv Wiemers te horen, hij is deskundige op
gebied van de oorspronkelijke volkeren van Noord-Amerika en schreef daar
al eens een boek over met de titel ‘Veerkracht’
Volgens Wiemers, die sprak met overlevenden van deze ‘kostscholen’ werden de kinderen niet alleen seksueel misbruikt, maar ook mishandeld, slecht gevoed, vastgehouden in slechte omstandigheden, zodat ook besmettelijke ziekten slachtoffers konden maken……
Het was de bedoeling van de beheerders van de scholen en de Canadese overheid om deze kinderen te ontdoen van hun achtergrond, ofwel ze gedwongen te assimileren met de witte bevolking, om dat te bereiken werden kinderen ernstig mishandeld als ze de taal van hun ouders durfden te spreken…… Men had voor deze assimilatie ook een gezegde: “Kill the indian, safe the man…..” Het eerste deel van dat gezegde werd wel erg nauw gevolgd door de religieuze ‘herders’ van die scholen…….
De wantoestanden op die Canadese scholen duurden voort tot in de 70er jaren van de vorige eeuw…… Men heeft volgens Wiemers later uitgerekend dat het voor een kind gevaarlijker was om naar zo’n school te gaan, dan voor een Canadese militair die tijdens WOII naar Europa ging om te vechten tegen nazi-Duitsland…….
Kortom in Canada was sprake van een ‘beschavingsoffensief’ zoals we dat
gewend zijn van de witte kolonisten uit Europa….. Een offensief dat in
feite nog steeds plaatsvindt als je ziet hoe de VS (met haar andere
NAVO-lidstaten) oorlog voert over een flink deel van de wereld, illegale
oorlogen in landen waar het westen niets, maar dan ook helemaal niets
te zoeken heeft en waar men zogenaamd democratie en vrijheid brengt,
terwijl men in werkelijkheid grote aantallen mensen vermoord >>
zowel mannen, vrouwen, ouderen als kinderen……… En ja ook Nederland heeft zich in deze oorlogen bewezen als oorlogsmisdadiger…..
Dan nog het volgende: in Canada verdwijnen jaarlijks grote aantallen meisjes en vrouwen van de oorspronkelijke bevolking, een zaak waar de Canadese autoriteiten amper wat aan doen, ook al beloofde men meermaals beterschap (ook door opperploert Trudeau)….. De meisjes en vrouwen worden ontvoerd en verkracht om daarna te worden vermoord, bijvoorbeeld door werkers in de olie-industrie…….
Ten onrechte dacht men hier vroeger dat de Canadezen beter omgingen met de oorspronkelijke bewoners dan de VS, een heel foute gedachtegang zoals ook nu weer blijkt…….. Datzelfde geldt overigens ook voor de genocide op deze oorspronkelijke volkeren >> de grootste genocide ooit werd uitgevoerd in de 3 Amerika’s….

De VS gaat steeds harder tekeer tegen websites van nieuwsorganisaties in o.a. het Midden-Oosten, zo heeft de VS de Iraanse Press TV internetsite gesloten, alsook het nieuwsplatform al-Masirah TV van de Houthi’s in Jemen…… Het laatste is wellicht het ergste, immers de VS helpt de Saoedische terreurcoalitie met het uitvoeren van een genocide op de sjiitische bevolking van Jemen, de bevolking die de Houthi’s probeert te beschermen tegen het moorddadige buitenlandse geweld…….
Volgens de VS doet men dit op basis van regels die gebaseerd zijn op internationale regels, echter het is wel duidelijk dat de vork iets anders in de steel steekt, vandaar ook de kop op het artikel van Caitlin Johnstone: ‘Rules-Based International Order’ Means Washington-Based International Order, waarmee ze stelt dat het voorgaande in werkelijkheid betekent: op Washington gebaseerde internationale regels…. (ofwel: door Washington opgestelde internationale regels) Niets tegen in te brengen als je ziet dat de VS het gore lef heeft om landen eenzijdig sancties op te leggen, die oh schande maar al te vaak worden gesteund door de EU, alsof de EU bevolking daarom vraagt……. Daarmee worden de EU burgers in feite medeplichtig aan massamoord, zie Venezuela waar VS sancties (die worden gesteund door Canada, Groot-Brittannië en de EU….) al aan meer dan 50.000 mensen het leven hebben gekost…… (correctie op 13 juli 2021: het aantal Venezolaanse doden was op het moment van publicatie al meer dan 100.000, mijn excuus) Dat is overigens een cijfer van vorig jaar, ofwel het werkelijke aantal doden moet nu vele malen hoger liggen….. Dan nog het volgende: de VS heeft zelfs een Venezolaans tegoed van 5 miljard dollar
voor de aankoop van medicijnen en medische apparatuur achterover

Nederland is medeplichtig aan die doden, moet je nagaan: onder die sancties vallen ook medicijnen en medische apparaten en hoewel Washington dat ontkent zijn de bewijzen van het tegendeel overweldigend >> voordat de sancties tegen Venezuela werden verscherpt gingen veel Antillianen voor medische ziekenhuishulp naar Venezuela, waar ze gratis werden geholpen……… (daar de door Nederland opgetuigde gezondheidszorg zwaar tekort schoot en nog steeds tekort schiet, terwijl de Antillianen nu kunnen vergeten naar Venezuela te gaan voor hulp, mede met dank aan ChristenUnie opperschoft Blokhuis >> echt héééél christelijk….) Het ministerie van justitie in de VS maakte afgelopen dinsdag bekend dat het 36 aan Iran gelinkte websites van tv stations op zwart heeft gezet met de meer dan belachelijke verantwoording dat deze stations bezig waren met desinformatieve activiteiten, of dat deze stations ronduit van gewelddadige organisaties waren….. (als we dat hier ook zouden doen, moesten we alle tv series en films uit de VS boycotten en alle VS zenders (zowel radio als tv) op het internet op zwart zetten, geen land of organisatie dat/die zoveel terreur uitoefent als de VS en dat wereldwijd….. Zoals gewoonlijk heeft de VS e.e.a. gedaan zonder enig bewijs te leveren en dan heeft de VS het gore lef te stellen dat deze stations een overtreding begingen tegen de VS sancties….. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Terwijl die sancties godbetert illegaal zijn!! The Biden administration has been bleating “rules-based order” so frequently and with such obvious meaninglessness that even The New York Timesvoiced some criticism
of the way that vapid, idiotic phrase is being used instead of the
well-defined term “international law”. As Medea Benjamin and Nicolas JS
Davies wrote for Salon last month:

Blinken, the concept of a “rules-based order” seems to serve mainly as a
cudgel with which to attack China and Russia. At a May 7 UN Security
Council meeting, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrovsuggested that
instead of accepting the already existing rules of international law,
the United States and its allies are trying to come up with “other rules
developed in closed, non-inclusive formats, and then imposed on
everyone else.”

Today,
far from being a leader of the international rules-based system, the
United States is an outlier. It has failed to sign or ratify about 50 important
and widely accepted multilateral treaties on everything from children’s
rights to arms control. Its unilateral sanctions against Cuba, Iran,
Venezuela and other countries are themselves violations of
international law, and the new Biden administration has shamefully
failed to lift these illegal sanctions, ignoring UN Secretary-General
António Guterres’ request to suspend such unilateral coercive measures during the pandemic.
Indeed,
US government officials babble endlessly about “rules”, and the “rules”
are literally always tools used for the benefit of the US government,
and the US government literally always flouts those “rules”
exponentially worse than any other government on earth.

What
the phrase “rules-based order” actually means is Washington-based
order. It means a world order imposed by the US government and its
lackey states on pain of devastation and death, which exists solely to
keep the US at the head of a unipolar empire. It means do as I say, not
as I do. It means rules for thee but not for me. It means we decide what
happens based on what suits our interests.
If
you peel away all the narrative spin and outward politeness, the US
empire just looks like any other tyrannical force that has ever existed
throughout human history, except it kills a lot more people than most of
the others. In the old days the thugs with the most effective killing
force would dominate everyone else using terror, wearing frightening
battle costumes adorned with the body parts of their enemies. Nowadays
they still dominate everyone else using terror, except they do it while
wearing suits, and while waxing self-righteously about the “rules-based
international order”. And they are much better at killing.
There
is no other government on earth that is less qualified to impose any
“order” upon the world. This is the only government on earth which has killed millions of people and displaced tens of millions
just since the turn of this century, the only government on earth that
is circling the planet with hundreds of military bases and working to
destroy any nation which disobeys its dictates. Yemen alone
completely delegitimizes any claim the US may have had to be the arbiter
of “order” in the world, to say nothing of Iraq, Vietnam, Libya and all
the other innumerable atrocities that this monstrous regime has
inflicted upon our species.
The sooner humanity can extract the parasite that is the US empire from its skin, the better off the whole world will be.

Caitlin Johnstone publiceerde gisteren een artikel waarin ze aangeeft dat de CIA in tegenstelling tot eerder handelen, openlijk vertelt wat het aan (illegale) acties uitvoert. Zoals de CIA een paar jaar geleden bekend maakte dat het al jaren bezig is om acties op poten te zetten in Iran en daar uiteraard wapens levert aan gewelddadige oppositiegroepen en deze traint, al werd dat er nog net niet bij verteld, is dat standaard als de CIA de boel destabiliseert…..
Caitlin begint haar artikel door eerst te wijzen op een relatie die ze had met een sociopaat (een psychopaat die goed is in het manipuleren van mensen*) die haar zelfs verkrachtte en naarmate de relatie langer duurde dit openlijk toegaf aan zijn vrienden, waarbij hij aangaf dat zij het wel goed vond……
Hoe langer die vreselijke situatie voortduurde, hoe meer Caitlin zich onderworpen voelde aan deze ploert die openlijk liep op te scheppen over wat hij voor elkaar had gekregen en dit als een soort van kunst propageerde……
Caitlin vergelijkt dit met het handelen van de CIA: in vroeger jaren infiltreerde de CIA in mediaorganen, maar tegenwoordig heeft de CIA een scala aan oud-medewerkers die worden aangesteld bij deze organen en daar openlijk de mening van het publiek manipuleren met het enorme aantal leugens dat de CIA in de loop van de jaren bij elkaar heeft bedacht…….
Het is hier gelukkig nog niet zover, althans dat dacht ik in eerste instantie, echter even de grijze massa aan het werk zetten en ik kan niet naders dan zeggen dat het hier nog erger is dan in de VS…… Zo worden bijvoorbeeld op de nationale radio zenders (Radio1 en 2 plus BNR) AIVD en MIVD woordvoerders met grote regelmaat uitgenodigd, die in de meeste gevallen met leugens, valse angstzaaierij en demonisering het luisterpubliek manipuleren……** En nee, de AIVD en MIVD behoeven hier niet eens te infiltreren in de media, met grote graagte worden ze uitgenodigd en de reguliere media slikken hun woorden als zoete koek, om deze vervolgens uit te venten op hun zenders als zijnde de waarheid, zonder ook maar de vraag te stellen of wat ze uitventen wel klopt met de waarheid…… Sterker nog: er wordt zelfs geen kritische vraag gesteld als zo’n flapdrol fantast in de studio zit….. Nee, het zijn de AIVD en MIVD dus moet het wel waar zijn, ook al kunnen woordvoerders in heel veel zaken niet bewijzen wat er wordt gezegd, waarvoor men de dooddoener gebruikt als zou men met bewijsvoering mensenlevens in gevaar brengen…..
Het kan nog veel gekker in dit land: de commissie stiekem van de Tweede Kamer, waar zaken die het daglicht niet kunnen verdragen aan een aantal vertegenwoordigers van de politieke partijen worden geopenbaard…… Deze vertegenwoordigers hebben beloofd dat ze niets zullen openbaren van wat ze hebben gehoord en mochten ze dat toch doen lopen ze de kans strafrechtelijk te worden vervolgd…… Het gaat daar bijvoorbeeld om geheime militaire operaties waarbij men mensen vermoordt……. Het voorgaande in een zogenaamde democratie anno 2021, wat eens te meer aangeeft dat we niet kunnen spreken van een werkelijke democratie, immers daar moet het volk alles kunnen controleren van wat de overheden wel en niet doen en dat is hier ten enenmale onmogelijk……
Zo bezien is de situatie hier nog een stuk slechter dan die in de VS, zoals hieronder beschreven door Caitlin, waarin ze terecht een Twitterbericht aanhaalt van Ben Norton, die op zijn beurt een zo’n bericht van Eliot Higgins aanhaalt waarin deze erop wijst dat het zo door de politiek en reguliere media (en daarmee door het grootste deel van het publiek) zo geprezen Bellingcat***, een lobbyorganisatie is voor de NAVO (en de wapenindustrie) die erop gericht is vijanden van het westen te demoniseren >> Bellingcat een organisatie die wordt betaald door Washington…… (hiermee wordt nogmaals aangetoond dat de reguliere westerse media in feite niets meer van doen hebben met onafhankelijkheid…..)
In
the later years of an abusive relationship I was in, my abuser had
become so confident in how mentally caged he had me that he’d start
overtly telling me what he is and what he was doing. He flat-out told me
he was a sociopath and a manipulator, trusting that I was so submitted
to his will by that point that I’d gaslight myself into reframing those
statements in a sympathetic light. Toward the end one time he told me “I
am going to rape you,” and then he did, and then he talked about it to
some friends trusting that I’d run perception management on it for him.
The
better he got at psychologically twisting me up in knots and the more
submitted I became, the more open he’d be about it. He seemed to enjoy
doing this, taking a kind of exhibitionistic delight in showing off his
accomplishments at crushing me as a person, both to others and to me.
Like it was his art, and he wanted it to have an audience to appreciate
it.
I was reminded of this while watching a recent Fox News appearance by Glenn Greenwald where he made an observation we’ve discussed here previously
about the way the CIA used to have to infiltrate the media, but now
just openly has US intelligence veterans in mainstream media punditry
positions managing public perception.
“If
you go and Google, and I hope your viewers do, Operation Mockingbird,
what you will find is that during the Cold War these agencies used to
plot how to clandestinely manipulate the news media to disseminate
propaganda to the American population,” Greenwald said.
“They used to try to do it secretly. They don’t even do it secretly
anymore. They don’t need Operation Mockingbird. They literally put John
Brennan who works for NBC and James Clapper who works for CNN and tons
of FBI agents right on the payroll of these news organizations. They now
shape the news openly to manipulate and to deceive the American
population.”
In 1977 Carl Bernstein published an article titled “The CIA and the Media” reporting that the CIA had covertly infiltrated America’s most influential news outlets and had over 400 reporters who it considered assets in a program known as Operation Mockingbird.
It was a major scandal, and rightly so. The news media are meant to
report truthfully about what happens in the world, not manipulate public
perception to suit the agendas of spooks and warmongers.
Nowadays
the CIA collaboration happens right out in the open, and the public is
too brainwashed and gaslit to even recognize this as scandalous.
Immensely influential outlets like The New York Times uncritically pass on CIA disinfo which is then spun as fact by cable news pundits. The sole owner of The Washington Post is a CIA contractor,
and WaPo has never once disclosed this conflict of interest when
reporting on US intelligence agencies per standard journalistic
protocol. Mass media outlets now openly employ intelligence agency veterans like John
Brennan, James Clapper, Chuck Rosenberg, Michael Hayden, Frank
Figliuzzi, Fran Townsend, Stephen Hall, Samantha Vinograd, Andrew
McCabe, Josh Campbell, Asha Rangappa, Phil Mudd, James Gagliano, Jeremy
Bash, Susan Hennessey, Ned Price and Rick Francona, as are known CIA assets like NBC’s Ken Dilanian, as are CIA interns like Anderson Cooper and CIA applicants like Tucker Carlson.
They’re just rubbing it in our faces now. Like they’re showing off.

Bellingcat got funding from the US gov-funded NED. It acts like an unofficial NATO propagandist, obsessively focusing on Western enemies.
And
that’s just the media. We also see this flaunting behavior exhibited in
the US government-funded National Endowment for Democracy (NED), a
propaganda operation geared at sabotaging foreign governments not
aligned with the US which according to its own founding officials was
set up to do overtly what the CIA used to do covertly. The late author
and commentator William Blum makes this clear:
[I]n
1983, the National Endowment for Democracy was set up to “support
democratic institutions throughout the world through private,
nongovernmental efforts”. Notice the “nongovernmental” – part of the
image, part of the myth. In actuality, virtually every penny of its
funding comes from the federal government, as is clearly indicated in
the financial statement in each issue of its annual report. NED likes to
refer to itself as an NGO (Non-governmental organization) because this
helps to maintain a certain credibility abroad that an official US
government agency might not have. But NGO is the wrong category. NED is a
GO.
“We
should not have to do this kind of work covertly,” said Carl Gershman
in 1986, while he was president of the Endowment. “It would be terrible
for democratic groups around the world to be seen as subsidized by the
C.I.A. We saw that in the 60’s, and that’s why it has been discontinued.
We have not had the capability of doing this, and that’s why the
endowment was created.”
And
Allen Weinstein, who helped draft the legislation establishing NED,
declared in 1991: “A lot of what we do today was done covertly 25 years
ago by the CIA.”
In effect, the CIA has been laundering money through NED.
We
see NED’s fingerprints all over pretty much any situation where the
western power alliance needs to manage public perception about a
CIA-targeted government, from Russia to Hong Kong to Xinjiang to the imperial propaganda operation known as Bellingcat.

won the general election, more than one quarter of the 40 previously
Republican-held seats captured by the Democrats as they took control of
the House of Representatives. In 2020, the intervention of the CIA
Democrats continues on what is arguably an equally significant scale.”
So
they’re just getting more and more brazen the more confident they feel
about how propaganda-addled and submissive the population has become.
They’re laying more and more of their cards on the table. Soon the CIA
will just be openly selling narcotics door to door like Girl Scout
cookies.
Or maybe not. I said my ex got more and more overt about his abuses in the later years of our relationship because those were
the later years. I did eventually expand my own consciousness of my own
inner workings enough to clear the fears and unexamined beliefs I had
that he was using as hooks to manipulate me. Maybe, as humanity’s
consciousness continues to expand, the same will happen for the people and their abusive relationship with the CIA.

Julian Assange, de oprichter van Wikileaks zit nu al ruim 2 jaar in isolatiefolter, en het kan niet genoeg gezegd worden: eenzame opsluiting is een uiterst smerige en barbaarse manier van martelen…… Assange zit gevangen daar hij geheime documenten openbaarde die hem door klokkenluiders werden toegespeeld, zoals ook de video over de aanval van een VS helikopter in Irak waarbij 16 onschuldige burgers en 2 journalisten van Reuters werden vermoord…….. Dit zijn feiten die de hele wereld zou moeten weten en het is te zot voor woorden dat men dergelijke oorlogsmisdaden onder het tapijt wil houden…… Meer dan schandalig ook dat de zogenaamde collega journalisten meegingen in de leugen van de geheime diensten en de VS overheid, dat dit staatsgeheimen zijn die mensen in levensgevaar hebben gebracht……
Dat laatste is een heel vette leugen en zonder dat de ‘journalisten’
e.e.a. onderzochten hebben zij op verklaring van een overheid en diens
geheime diensten, bekend staand om hun smerige leugens, ook deze vuile
leugen uitgevent aan hun klanten (lezers, luisteraars en/of kijkers) en
doen dat schandelijk genoeg nog steeds…… Je weet wel, dezelfde
journalisten die schreeuwen om censuur op de sociale media, dit daar men
op die media alleen maar fake news (nepnieuws) zou verspreiden……. (terwijl ze
zelf niet anders doen dan vooral veel nepnieuws verspreiden…..) De echte reden is dat men met lede ogen ziet dat steeds meer mensen zich afwenden van de reguliere media, daar ze in de gaten hebben gekregen dat men hen bij die media een rad voor ogen draait en dat een behoorlijk deel van de alternatieve media worden bevolkt door journalisten die hun werk wel onafhankelijk doen en niet klakkeloos overnemen wat hun overheid, geheime diensten en hun bazen hen voorschotelen dan wel verwachten waar men wel of niet over bericht…….
Als een journalist in Rusland, China of Iran gegevens van klokkenluiders zou openbaren en deze journalist zou worden gevangengezet, zou de wereld te klein zijn voor de hypocriete verontwaardiging van westerse politici en de westerse reguliere (massa-) media…… Ook in een andere zaak is de verontwaardiging uitermate belachelijk en hypocriet >> Navalny, een fascist en bewezen misdadiger, die door het westen werd gebombardeerd tot heilige en oppositieleider (terwijl hij bij landelijke verkiezingen goed is voor 2 à 3% van de stemmen) en waar men Rusland, waarvoor men het liefst de naam Putin gebruikt, beschuldigt hem te hebben vergiftigd met novitsjok (een aantal van de reguliere westerse media stellen zelfs dat hij al 2 keer is vergiftigd met deze uiterst dodelijke stof)…….
Het voorgaande terwijl elke vergiftiging met novitsjok zonder meer dodelijk is!!* Niet voor niets ook dat het westen Rusland weigerde mee te laten werken aan het onderzoek naar de aard van de vergiftiging, zoals men dat eerder deed met het onderzoek naar ‘de vergiftiging van de Skripals met novitsjok….’ Het onderzoek in die zaak werd gedaan door de OPCW een organisatie die samenwerkt met de VN en een organisatie waarvan Rusland NB lid is……** (de OPCW ofwel: de Organisatie voor het Verbod op Chemische Wapens >> Engels: Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons)
Terug naar Julian Assange: het is een schande dat deze gelauwerde onderzoeksjournalist gevangenzit en wordt gefolterd door eenzame opsluiting en dat alleen omdat hij zijn werk deed, werk dat van levensbelang is voor een echte democratie……. Het is dan ook duidelijk dat alle westerse politici en journalisten die hem veroordelen lak hebben aan democratie en spreken en handelen alsof we in een dictatuur leven…….
Vorige week donderdag was er een benefit voor Assange in New York, waar ook Chris Hedges sprak en hij heeft daar geen woord te veel of te weinig gezegd, zo stelt hij dat met de langdurige campagne tegen Assange de rechtsorde ernstig geweld wordt aangedaan en dat dit de weg is richting een ‘omgekeerd totalitarisme’, een vorm van totalitarisme waarin het volk de fictie wordt voorgehouden dat de kapitalistische democratie en alles wat daarbij komt kijken in stand wordt gehouden……. June 13, 2021 “Information
Clearing House” – – “Scheer
Post“ – A
society that prohibits the capacity to speak in
truth extinguishes the capacity to live in justice.
This why we are here tonight. Yes, all of us who
know and admire Julian decry his prolonged suffering
and the suffering of his family. Yes, we demand that
the many wrongs and injustices that have been
visited upon him be ended. Yes, we honor him up for
his courage and his integrity. But the battle for
Julian’s liberty has always been much more than the
persecution of a publisher. It is the most important
battle for press freedom of our era. And if we lose
this battle, it will be devastating, not only for
Julian and his family, but for us.
Tyrannies invert the rule of law. They turn the law
into an instrument of injustice. They cloak their
crimes in a faux legality. They use the
decorum of the courts and trials, to mask their
criminality. Those, such as Julian, who expose that
criminality to the public are dangerous, for without
the pretext of legitimacy the tyranny loses
credibility and has nothing left in its arsenal but
fear, coercion and violence.
The long campaign against Julian and WikiLeaks
is a window into the collapse of the rule of law,
the rise of what the political philosopher Sheldon
Wolin calls our system of inverted totalitarianism,
a form of totalitarianism that maintains the
fictions of the old capitalist democracy, including
its institutions, iconography, patriotic symbols and
rhetoric, but internally has surrendered total
control to the dictates of global corporations.
I was in the London courtroom when Julian was being
tried by Judge Vanessa Baraitser, an updated version
of the Queen of Hearts in Alice-in Wonderland
demanding the sentence before pronouncing the
verdict. It was judicial farce. There was no legal
basis to hold Julian in prison. There was no legal
basis to try him, an Australian citizen, under the
U.S. Espionage Act. The CIA spied on Julian in the
embassy through a Spanish company, UC Global,
contracted to provide embassy security. This spying
included recording the privileged conversations
between Julian and his lawyers as they discussed his
defense. This fact alone invalidated the trial.
Julian is being held in a high security prison so
the state can, as Nils Melzer, the UN Special
Rapporteur on Torture, has testified, continue the
degrading abuse and torture it hopes will lead to
his psychological if not physical disintegration.
The U.S. government directed, as Craig Murray so
eloquently documented, the London prosecutor James
Lewis. Lewis presented these directives to Baraitser.
Baraitser adopted them as her legal decision. It was
judicial pantomime. Lewis and the judge insisted
they were not attempting to criminalize journalists
and muzzle the press while they busily set up the
legal framework to criminalize journalists and
muzzle the press. And that is why the court worked
so hard to mask the proceedings from the public,
limiting access to the courtroom to a handful of
observers and making it hard and at times impossible
to access the trial online. It was a tawdry show
trial, not an example of the best of English
jurisprudence but the Lubyanka.

Now, I know many of us
here tonight would like to think of ourselves as
radicals, maybe even revolutionaries. But what we
are demanding on the political spectrum is in fact
conservative, it is the restoration of the rule of
law. It is simple and basic. It should not, in a
functioning democracy, be incendiary. But living in
truth in a despotic system is the supreme act of
defiance. This truth terrifies those in power.
The architects of
imperialism, the masters of war, the
corporate-controlled legislative, judicial and
executive branches of government and their
obsequious courtiers in the media, are illegitimate.
Say this simple truth and you are banished, as many
of us have been, to the margins of the media
landscape. Prove this truth, as Julian, Chelsea
Manning, Jeremy Hammond and Edward Snowden have by
allowing us to peer into the inner workings of
power, and you are hunted down and persecuted.
Shortly after
WikiLeaks released the Iraq War Logs in October
2010, which documented numerous US war
crimes—including video images of the gunning down of
two Reuters journalists and 10 other unarmed
civilians in the Collateral Murder video, the
routine torture of Iraqi prisoners, the covering up
of thousands of civilian deaths and the killing of
nearly 700 civilians that had approached too closely
to U.S. checkpoints—the towering civil rights
attorneys Len Weinglass and my good friend Michael
Ratner, who I would later accompany to meet Julian
in the Ecuadoran Embassy, met with Julian in a
studio apartment in Central London. Julian’s
personal bank cards had been blocked. Three
encrypted laptops with documents detailing US war
crimes had disappeared from his luggage in route to
London. Swedish police were fabricating a case
against him in a move, Ratner warned, that was about
extraditing Julian to the United States.
“WikiLeaks and you
personally are facing a battle that is both legal
and political,” Weinglass told Assange. “As we
learned in the Pentagon Papers case, the US
government doesn’t like the truth coming out. And it
doesn’t like to be humiliated. No matter if it’s
Nixon or Bush or Obama, Republican or Democrat in
the White House. The US government will try to stop
you from publishing its ugly secrets. And if they
have to destroy you and the First Amendment and the
rights of publishers with you, they are willing to
do it. We believe they are going to come after
WikiLeaks and you, Julian, as the publisher.”
“Come after me for
what?” asked Julian.
“Espionage,” Weinglass
continued. “They’re going to charge Bradley Manning
with treason under the Espionage Act of 1917. We
don’t think it applies to him because he’s a
whistleblower, not a spy. And we don’t think it
applies to you either because you are a publisher.
But they are going to try to force Manning into
implicating you as his collaborator.”
“Come after me for
what?
That is the question.
They came after Julian
not for his vices, but his virtues.
They came after Julian
because he exposed the more than 15,000 unreported
deaths of Iraqi civilians; because he exposed the
torture and abuse of some 800 men and boys, aged
between 14 and 89, at Guantánamo; because he exposed
that Hillary Clinton in 2009 ordered US diplomats to
spy on UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon and other UN
representatives from China, France, Russia, and the
UK, spying that included obtaining DNA, iris scans,
fingerprints, and personal passwords, part of the
long pattern of illegal surveillance that included
the eavesdropping on UN Secretary General Kofi Annan
in the weeks before the US-led invasion of Iraq in
2003; because he exposed that Barack Obama, Hillary
Clinton and the CIA orchestrated the June 2009
military coup in Honduras that overthrew the
democratically elected president Manuel Zelaya,
replacing it with a murderous and corrupt military
regime; because he exposed that George W. Bush,
Barack Obama and General David Petraeus prosecuted a
war in Iraq that under post-Nuremberg laws is
defined as a criminal war of aggression, a war
crime, that they authorized hundreds of targeted
assassinations, including those of U.S. citizens in
Yemen, and that they secretly launched missile,
bomb, and drone attacks on Yemen, killing scores of
civilians; because he exposed that Goldman Sachs
paid Hillary Clinton $657,000 to give talks, a sum
so large it can only be considered a bribe, and that
she privately assured corporate leaders she would do
their bidding while promising the public financial
regulation and reform; because he exposed the
internal campaign to discredit and destroy British
Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn by members of his
own party; because he exposed how the hacking tools
used by the CIA and the National Security Agency
permits the wholesale government surveillance of our
televisions, computers, smartphones and anti-virus
software, allowing the government to record and
store our conversations, images and private text
messages, even from encrypted apps.
Julian exposed the
truth. He exposed it over and over and over until
there was no question of the endemic illegality,
corruption and mendacity that defines the global
ruling elite. And for these truths they came after
Julian, as they have come after all who dared rip
back the veil on power. “Red Rosa now has vanished
too. …” Bertolt Brecht wrote after the German
socialist Rosa Luxemburg was murdered. “She told the
poor what life is about, And so the rich have rubbed
her out.”
We have undergone a
corporate coup, where the poor and working men and
women are reduced to joblessness and hunger, where
war, financial speculation and internal surveillance
are the only real business of the state, where even
habeas corpus no longer exists, where we, as
citizens, are nothing more than commodities to
corporate systems of power, ones to be used, fleeced
and discarded. To refuse to fight back, to reach out
and help the weak, the oppressed and the suffering,
to save the planet from ecocide, to decry the
domestic and international crimes of the ruling
class, to demand justice, to live in truth, is to
bear the mark of Cain. Those in power must feel our
wrath, and this means constant acts of mass civil
disobedience, it means constant acts of social and
political disruption, for this organized power from
below is the only power that will save us and the
only power that will free Julian. Politics is a game
of fear. It is our moral and civic duty to make
those in power very, very afraid.
The criminal ruling
class has all of us locked in its death grip. It
cannot be reformed. It has abolished the rule of
law. It obscures and falsifies the truth. It seeks
the consolidation of its obscene wealth and power.
And so, to quote the Queen of Hearts, metaphorically
of course, I say, “Off with their heads.”

Vandaag worden er verkiezingen gehouden in Iran en in de westerse reguliere media wordt keihard op de anti Iraanse propaganda trommel geslagen. Vanmorgen op BNR de buitenlanddeskundige van dat radiostation Bernard Hammelburg die z’n deskundige gekleurde mening gaf over deze verkiezingen, waarbij het woord ‘moellah’ (islamitische geleerde) niet van de lucht was.
Volgens Hammelburg heeft men eigenlijk niets te kiezen in Iran, de 4 overgebleven kandidaten zijn gekozen door de moellahs en van hen valt niets te verwachten, aldus deze kneus, die zelfs oplichter Geert Jan Hahn ziet als een Oost-Europa deskundige, zo hoorde ik gisteravond in de herhaling van het waardeloze buitenlandprogramma van BNR met de naam ‘De Wereld’. (Geert Jan Hahn…. ha! ha! ha! ha! klik voor de gein op het label met zijn naam, direct onder dit bericht) Op het internet staat te lezen dat hij onlangs in Kiev [Oekraïne] woonde, echter dat is al jaren geleden!! Ach ja eens een fantast……
Hammelburg sprak nog even over de enorme armoede in Iran, de lange rijen voor de winkels en de lege schappen in de winkels, als was dit de schuld van fout economisch beleid, terwijl dit alles één op één te maken heeft met onbeschofte illegale sancties van de VS (zo worden landen met sancties gedreigd als ze banden onderhouden met Iran en worden bedrijven die zaken doen met Iran gedreigd dat ze op de zwarte lijst van de VS komen, zodat ze verder handel drijven met andere buitenlanden ook kunnen vergeten, daar niet alleen de banken onder druk worden gezet geen (export) kredieten te verstrekken aan zo’n bedrijf en kan de VS met het internationaal betalingssysteem SWIFT ervoor zorgen dat betalingen van zo’n bedrijf aan die in andere landen worden geblokkeerd……)
Verder hebben deze sancties ervoor gezorgd dat wat Hammelburg moellahs noemt, hun greep op de macht hebben kunnen versterken en dat ten koste van de door een groot aantal jongeren in de steden, die deels vrijheid hadden herwonnen zonder enig geweld te gebruiken….. Het voorgaande is daarnaast overigens ook te danken aan de CIA dat een paar jaar geleden toegaf al jaren te opereren in Iran, waar deze terreurorganisatie zich bezighoudt met het opzetten van demonstraties, die men hoopt op te kunnen kloppen tot een opstand, daarnaast geeft de CIA de leden van de MEK (een uiterst gewelddadige Iraanse terreurorganisatie) modern wapentuig en explosieven……
Sancties en acties van de CIA moeten de bevolking in opstand brengen, vandaar ook dat de VS er geen moeite mee heeft dat de gematigde krachten verliezen, krachten die de laatste 15 jaar aan invloed wonnen en wel zo dat ook kandidaten die niet goed lagen bij de geestelijke oppermacht de kans kregen mee te doen aan verkiezingen….. Nee de VS wenst een totale omwenteling in Iran, als het moet door een nieuwe dictator aan te stellen, als deze dictator maar doet wat de VS eist….. Oplichter Joe Biden deed het tijdens de verkiezingen voorkomen als dat hij wel zou willen overleggen met Iran over de nucleaire deal met dat land* (wat zou betekenen dat de VS de illegale sancties tegen het land voor het grootste deel zou opheffen)….Echter van enige verandering in VS beleid t.a.v. Iran is tot nu toe geen sprake nadat Biden het ambt van president opnam…… Ofwel ook dit is één van de vele verkiezingsbeloften die Biden niet nakomt……..
Opvallend ook zijn de gesprekken die ik vanmiddag op WDR 5 hoorde van verslaggevers met ondernemers in Iran, mensen die met naam en toenaam werden genoemd, terwijl men altijd zegt dat deze mensen gevaar lopen als ze kritiek leveren op Iran…..
De situatie in Iran is te danken aan de VS en het is de vraag hoeveel doden er al zijn gevallen door de illegale sancties, daar ook medicijnen en medische apparatuur onder de sancties vallen, hoe hard de VS ook liegt dat dit niet het geval is, zijn er talloze bewijzen die het tegenovergestelde aantonen…. Zo hebben de sancties tegen Venezuela al aan mer dan 50.000 mensen het leven gekost en ook daar als gevolg van sancties op medicijnen, medische apparaten en voedsel…. Het is zelfs zo zot dat de VS een Venezolaans tegoed in de VS ter waarde van 5 miljard dollar achterover heeft gedrukt**, geld bedoeld voor de aanschaf van medicijnen en medische apparatuur……. (nadat dit bekend werd gemaakt bleef de VS doodleuk beweren dat medicijnen, medische apparatuur en voedsel zijn uitgesloten van sancties……)
* De JCPOA of P5+1 nucleaire deal, die Trump door de papiervernietiger haalde, het verdrag waarin Iran beloofde geen uranium te verrijken om daar een kernwapen mee te maken. Na deze handeling van Trump legde hij Iran zware sancties op, de EU beloofde Iran daarvoor te compenseren maar deed dat schandalig genoeg niet!!

VS zich niet terugtrekt uit Irak, een soeverein land >> westerse
propaganda……‘ (Soleimani was één van de belangrijkste generaals in het verslaan van ISIS de terreurgroep die nog steeds wordt gesteund door de VS >> in het olierijke Syrische gebied dat de VS illegaal bezet houdt bevinden zich ook een fiks aantal ISIS terroristen, die worden beschermd door de VS; ook in de door Turkije gecontroleerde strook van Idlib bevinden zich veel ISIS strijders die daar ‘vrij en blij rond kunnen lopen’ en terreur uitoefenen op de daar aanwezige vluchtelingen…..)
Ongelofelijk weer deze uitspraak van Joe Biden, de president van het land dat overal waar het haar belangen ten goede komt ingrijpt, (vooral) democratisch gekozen regeringen die zich niet schikken naar de wensen van de VS zijn de klos. Ten eerste door het organiseren van demonstraties tegen zo’n bewind waar het de bedoeling is dat zo’n regime opstapt, ten tweede als dat niet lukt legt de VS zo’n land sancties op en dat gebaseerd op een hele berg leugens, in de hoop dat het volk ontevreden wordt (vanwege lege schappen in de winkels en rijen tot ver voor de deur) Zo hebben de illegale sancties van de VS (Canada, Groot-Brittannië en de EU)
tegen Venezuela intussen aan meer dan 50.000 mensen het leven
gekost, in feite een massamoord…….. (zonder het beoogde resultaat te kunnen bereiken: Maduro afzetten, ondanks alles haalt hij nog steeds de meerderheid van de stemmen!!) Ten derde als dat niet lukt door het organiseren en regisseren van een coup (door delen van de krijgsmacht van zo’n land om te kopen), waarbij de CIA altijd de gangmaker is…… Mocht zelfs dat niet lukken is de VS in staat om zo’n land binnen te vallen, waar men uiteraard een berg leugens voor gebruikt, zie de illegale oorlogen van de VS tegen Afghanistan, Irak, Libië en Syrië…..
En dan durven beweren dat de VS zich niet met verkiezingen elders bezig houdt, terwijl dat aantoonbaar een fiks aantal keren is gebeurd, maar vergeleken met het hier bovenstaande is dat nog maar kinderwerk….. Het laatst bekende voorbeeld van bemoeienis met verkiezingen van de VS was die in Bolivia, waar de VS niet alleen de verkiezingen probeerde te beïnvloeden, maar na de overwinning van president Evo Morales de coup tegen deze democratisch gekozen president heeft georganiseerd en geregisseerd….. Een ander voorbeeld is het eerder al genoemde Venezuela, de VS had zelfs het gore lef om daar na de verkiezingen zelf een andere president aan te stellen, de fascist Guaidó, die goed was voor ongeveer 2% van de stemmen…… (volgens de VS was hij oppositieleider, een leugen die men in de westerse pers overnam, hoe belachelijk en doorzichtig deze valse claim ook was….)
Voormalig CIA directeur Woolsey gaf in een tv interview toe dat de
VS verkiezingen elders manipuleert, maar dat is ‘voor de goede zaak’,
aldus deze smerige ploert……
Het meest lullige van de uitspraak die Joe Biden deed is
wel dat de VS in de 90er jaren openlijk de verkiezingen in Rusland heeft gemanipuleerd……..
Uiteraard weten de reguliere (massa-) media al het voorgaande, echter geen onvertogen woord toen de volgens Caitlin Johnstone president met soep hersenen werd gevraagd wat hij Putin had gezegd over Russische bemoeienis met de verkiezingen in de VS…….. (een leugen die intussen al 100 keer is doorgeprikt, maar die de westerse media en politici gewoon levend houden…..)
Biden antwoordde op zijn onnavolgbare manier door te vragen (in deze aapt hij jezus na) hoe de VS door de rest van de wereld zou worden gezien als het zich met de verkiezingen van andere landen zou bemoeien en iedereen zou weten dat dit waar is? Hoe zou het zijn als we ons met activiteiten zouden bezighouden waarmee hij (Putin, Ap) bezig is? Het verkleint de status van een land dat wanhopig probeert haar status als wereldmacht te bewaren…… ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Het is deze dwaas echt in de bol geslagen, zonder enig bewijs voor deze leugens te geven*, is het juist de VS die keer op keer op spionage wordt betrapt, zelfs haar eigen partners (in oorlogsmisdaden) worden bespioneerd door de VS…… Als je denkt dat de VS daarbij bedrijfsgeheimen ontziet, ben je behoorlijk naïef, uiteraard worden ook zaken meegenomen als innovaties die op universiteiten worden uitgedacht of die door bedrijven zelf worden bedacht, deze worden doorgespeeld aan ofwel universiteiten dan wel aan het (grote) bedrijfsleven in de VS……..
Caitlin ziet in het zwijgen van de pers, i.p.v. in een enorme lachbui uit te barsten na deze smerige leugens van Biden, volkomen terecht nogmaals een bewijs dat die pers er alleen is om propaganda te maken en om de door de eigenaars gewenste status quo te bewaren en te verdedigen, zaken die uiteraard gelijk opgaan, immers die zijn ook in het belang van de Biden administratie en van de wapenindustrie, de zakenbankensector, de oliemaatschappijen en andere grote bedrijven waarin men aandelen heeft (ofwel het grote bedrijfsleven dat Biden in haar zak heeft….)….
Joe Biden durfde eerder Putin voor ‘killer’ (moordenaar) uit te maken, terwijl hij als vicepresident onder Obama al mede verantwoordelijk was voor een enorm aantal doden vanwege de illegale oorlogen die deze administratie begon tegen Libië en Syrië, dit nog naast het grote aantal moorden op verdachten middels drones, waarbij meer dan 90% van de doden niet eens werd verdacht…… Voorts waren de door de Obama administratie opgezette staatsgrepen in Honduras en Oekraïne ook nog eens de reden voor een groot aantal doden…… Kortom Putin kan als ‘killer’ nog niet in de schaduw staan van Joe Biden, die als president ook al weer verantwoordelijk is voor een fiks aantal moorden en dat in landen waar de VS niets te zoeken heeft…….
Tot slot: vergeet niet dat Biden er geen moeite mee had toen Palestijnenslachter en Israëlische opperschoft Netanyahu de senaat toesprak en daarbij de verkiezingen in 2016 manipuleerde……
During an astonishingly sycophantic press conference
after the Geneva summit with Vladimir Putin, President Biden posited an
entirely hypothetical scenario about what the world would think of the
United States if it were interfering in foreign elections and everybody
knew it.
When
AP’s Jonathan Lemire asked the president of the most powerful
government in the world what “consequences” he’d threatened the Russian
leader with should the Kremlin interfere in US elections going forward,
Biden meandered his way through one of his signature not-quite-lucid
word salads, and then said the following:
“Let’s
get this straight: How would it be if the United States were viewed by
the rest of the world as interfering with the elections directly of
other countries, and everybody knew it? What would it be like if we
engaged in activities that he is engaged in? It diminishes the standing
of a country that is desperately trying to make sure it maintains its
standing as a major world power.”
The
fact that the entire press corps did not erupt in side-splitting
laughter at this ridiculous utterance is in itself proof that western
news media is pure propaganda. The United States has directly interfered in scores of foreign elections since
it began its ascent to global domination at the end of the second World
War, to say nothing of all the coups, color revolutions, proxy
conflicts and regime change military invasions it has also participated
in during that time. The US openly interfered in Russia’s elections in the nineties, and literally just tried to stage a coup in Bolivia
by interfering in its democratic process. The US is far and away the
single most egregious offender in the world on this front, which is
largely why it is perceived around the world as a greater threat to democracy than any other government.
This
is not a secret, internationally or in the United States. Anyone who
has done any learning about the US government’s actual behavior on the
world stage knows this. Hell, a former CIA director openly joked about it on Fox News a few years ago.
Fox’s Laura Ingraham unsurprisingly introduced former CIA Director James Woolsey as “an old friend” in a 2018 interview
about Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller’s indictment of 13 alleged
members of a Russian troll farm, in which Woolsey unsurprisingly talked
about how dangerous Russian “disinformation” is and Ingraham
unsurprisingly said that everyone should actually be afraid of China.
What was a bit surprising, though, was what happened at the end of the
interview.
“Have we ever tried to meddle in other countries’ elections?” Ingraham asked in response to Woolsey’s Russia remarks.
“Oh,
probably,” Woolsey said with a grin. “But it was for the good of the
system in order to avoid the communists from taking over. For example,
in Europe, in ’47, ’48, ’49, the Greeks and the Italians we CIA-“
“We don’t do that anymore though?” Ingraham interrupted. “We don’t mess around in other people’s elections, Jim?”
Woolsey smiled and said said “Well…”, followed by a joking incoherent mumble, adding, “Only for a very good cause.”
And then they both laughed.
The
fact that not one person in the press pool questioned or criticized
Biden’s outrageous remarks tells you everything you need to know about
the western media and what its real function is. This is further
illustrated by the rest of the behavior of these odious propagandists
during the summit, which was illustrated quite well by the glowing
praise of Democratic Party insider Andrea Chalupa on Twitter:
“The winners of #GenevaSummit2021 are the White House press corp,” Chalupa said.
“Excellent questions confronting Putin and challenging Biden on holding
a summit with a ruthless dictator. And they literally held their ground
when shoved by Putin’s security and propagandists.”
That
actually says it all. Western reporters are forbidden by their
oligarchic owners from ever confronting power in any meaningful way; the
closest they’re ever allowed to get to punching up is challenging the
leaders of CIA-targeted governments, and demanding to know why their own
leaders aren’t being more hawkish and aggressive toward those leaders.
As RT’s Murad Gazdiev pointed out,
“ABC, NBC, BBC, CNN, and many other Western outlets were invited for
Putin’s press conference. No Russian media was invited to Biden’s press
conference.” The whole thing was a navel-gazing, masturbatory cold war
propaganda orgy where western “journalists” made up fantasies about their soup-brained leader staring down Putin, where they yelled nonsense about Alexei Navalny at the Russian president and then fangirled at Biden’s response.

Nee Rusland en China zijn een bedreiging voor de VS: -daar ze zich anders opstellen bijvoorbeeld ten aanzien van arme landen, -daar ze lak hebben aan wat de VS wel of niet wenst, -daar ze landen helpen waar de VS een regimeverandering wil doorvoeren en -daar ze door de agressie van de VS en haar NAVO-partners hebben besloten samen te werken in een poging om de agressie van de VS te stoppen, zonder dat men daarvoor met geweld dreigt, zoals de VS en haar NAVO-partners bij herhaling wel doen….. Voorts willen Rusland en China bijvoorbeeld het VS SWIFT betalingssysteem onderuit te halen met een eigen betalingssysteem voor de hele wereld, zodat het voor de VS veel moeilijker wordt om bedrijven, na het opleggen van illegale sancties (dus zonder VN resolutie) aan een haar onwelgevallig regime, te dreigen met uitsluiting als ze zich niet aan de orders van Washington wensen te houden en onmiddellijk moeten stoppen met samenwerking dan wel levering van producten of diensten aan zo’n land……
Oorlogsmisdadiger Joe Biden stelde voor de zoveelste keer dat wanneer de NAVO niet bestond, deze uitgevonden zou moeten worden……. Waar hij aan toevoegde dat de NAVO of nu beter: “NATO is critical important for US interests” (ofwel de NAVO is uiterst belangrijk voor de belangen van de VS)….. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Ja logisch, zomaar een extra leger waarover deze uiterst agressieve vereniging van terreurstaten kan beschikken, vergeet niet dat de NAVO altijd onder militair opperbevel staat van de VS, ‘secretaris-generaal’ van de NAVO Jens Stoltenberg is een Noors zetbaasje van de VS, die alleen mag zeggen wat de VS heeft goedgekeurd…… (ja tijdens Trump sputterde Stoltenberg nog wel eens tegen de VS, echter als puntje bij paaltje kwam stond hij weer achter de VS……)
De media spreken er niet graag over maar men wil de NAVO hervormen en elke lidstaat zou moeten bijdragen aan de oorlogshandelingen waarin de NAVO is betrokken, volgens mij is daar amper verweer tegen van Europese politici, terwijl dit een smerige manier is om de lidstaten geld uit de zak te kloppen en zo kan men ophouden over de 2% van het BBP dat zou moeten worden bijgedragen aan de NAVO…… Bovendien zouden zo staten die tegen een volgende illegale oorlog zijn die de VS weer zal aangaan, toch moeten meebetalen aan deze illegale oorlog…… Voorts is het zeker dat de NAVO daarmee macht krijgt over de afzonderlijke EU lidstaten…..
De VS geeft jaarlijks een godsvermogen uit aan defensie uh oorlog, dit jaar zelfs 735 miljard dollar, daarvoor voert dit land meerdere oorlogen, onderhoudt daarmee meer dan 800 militaire bases over de wereld en voert het onwettige standrechtelijke executies uit, middels de drone aanvallen waarover ik eerder schreef….. Het is te belachelijk voor woorden dat ook wij een kapitaal moeten uitgeven aan illegale oorlogen, waarmee de VS en haar NAVO-partners deze eeuw al meer dan 5 miljoen mensen hebben vermoord…… (uitgaven voor militaire missies gaan over het algemeen niet ten koste van het Defensie budget, ofwel op die slinkse manier draagt Nederland meer bij aan de NAVO…) Voorts is het gelul van een dronken aardbei dat de EU-NAVO-lidstaten zich niet kunnen verdedigen tegen bijvoorbeeld Rusland, vanwege het tekort aan defensie uitgaven: Frankrijk en Groot-Brittannië hebben een aanzienlijk kernwapenarsenaal en bovendien geven deze 2 landen plus, Duitsland en Italië al meer dan 3 keer zoveel uit aan defensie dan Rusland…… Verder heeft Rusland er totaal geen behoefte aan om de enorme slangenkuil die men EU noemt in te nemen, niet voor niets dan ook dat de NAVO oefeningen langs de Russische grens erop gericht zijn om juist Rusland binnen te vallen!!! (oefeningen in gebieden waar de NAVO volgens de afspraak in 1991 met de laatste Sovjet president Gorbatsjov niet eens zou mogen zijn……) Over agressie gesproken!!
Het voorgaande terwijl de NAVO nu ook de deur voor haar lidmaatschap heeft opengezet voor Oekraïne en Georgië……. Niet moeilijk te bedenken dat vooral Oekraïne in de nabije toekomst een beroep zal doen op artikel 5 van de NAVO vanwege de zogenaamde annexatie van De Krim door Rusland en het afscheiden van Oekraïne door de separatisten in Oost-Oekraïne…. De Krim is niet geannexeerd door Rusland: de bevolking besloot in grote meerderheid, inclusief de oorspronkelijke bevolking, na een door internationale waarnemers als eerlijk beoordeeld referendum, zich aan te sluiten bij Rusland, dit daar ze het niet eens waren met de coup tegen de door hen democratisch gekozen president Janoekovytsj, daarnaast wensten ze niet te worden geregeerd door de neonazi-junta o.l.v. de zwaar corrupte fascist Porosjenko…… De separatisten in Oost-Oekraïne besloten zich om dezelfde reden af te scheiden van Oekraïne…….
Gisteren had een Radio1 verslaggever Rutte voor de microfoon, die werkelijk dacht dat hij de hele wereld toesprak (uiteraard is hij het lachertje van de internationale politiek, daar hij ten overvloede in eigen land nog eens heeft bewezen een oplichter en leugenaar te zijn) en daarom in z’n beste steenkool Engels begon te lullen dat we de dialoog moeten openhouden met China en met Rusland, hoewel hij stelde dat we niet naïef moeten zijn als het om Rusland gaat, daar er echte reden is om ongerust te zijn……. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Uiteraard doelde hij daarbij op de ‘vele cyberaanvallen’ die vanuit Rusland zouden worden gedaan, terwijl hij dondersgoed weet dat de CIA en NSA cyberaanvallen kunnen uitvoeren en de sporen daarvan in willekeurig elk land kunnen achterlaten en daarmee dat land als dader aanwijzen, zo blijkt uit officiële documenten van NB de VS zelf!! (Wikileaks Vault 7) Overigens kan je het vergeten dat men bewijzen overlegt dat Rusland of een ander land de dader is (dat zou mensen in gevaar brengen…. ha! ha! ha!)……. Daarover gesproken: als cyberspionage wel wordt bewezen is de dader keer op keer de VS, dat zelfs haar partners in de EU bespioneert, maar dat schijnt men in het westen intussen normaal te vinden……
Op WDR 5 afgelopen maandagavond na 23.00 u. een geheel opgewarmde portie demonisering van Rusland en China. Jens Stoltenberg (oorlogshitser en topgraaier NAVO) zou hebben gezegd dat de NAVO wel een dialoog wil met China, maar dat dit land e.e.a. zou hebben laten afweten….. Benieuwd welke voorwaarden voor die dialoog de NAVO heeft gesteld, maar als China niet wil praten moeten deze wel behoorlijk onbeschoft zijn….. Bovendien is het maar de vraag of Stoltenberg de waarheid spreekt, immers liegen kan hij als de beste dat heeft hij meer dan eens bewezen….. Om te laten zien dat China slecht bezig is werd er nog even gemeld dat China haar defensiebudget aanzienlijk heeft verhoogd….. ha! ha! ha! ha! Dit terwijl alleen de VS al 7 keer meer uitgeeft aan defensie uh oorlogsvoering dan China en Rusland samen uitgeven aan defensie!!
Joe Biden had tijdens de NAVO top een grote bek over de agressie van China en Rusland, alsof die ook maar in de schaduw kunnen staan van de grootschalige terreur die de VS en haar andere NAVO-lidstaten elders aanrichten….. Overigens ook op de G7-top had Biden grote kritiek op China, daarom besloot men geld in arme landen te steken als tegenwicht tot China, dat werkelijk ontwikkelingshulp biedt, zoals het aanleggen van wegen, havens, vliegvelden en spoorwegen…… Waar (ook grote) westerse bedrijven in arme landen de corruptie in stand houden en landen leegzuigen met behulp van corrupte politici…. Benieuwd wat er van dat G7 voornemen terecht komt, maar het zal me niet verbazen als over 5 jaar blijkt dat het een groot fiasco is, zoals het ontwikkelingsbeleid van eertijds PvdA minister en kwaadaardigheid Ploumen in Rutte 2 één grote flop was, zoals Oxfam Novib na een paar jaar concludeerde, ook zij wilde ontwikkelingshulp via Nederlandse bedrijven in arme lande regelen, echter het geld verdween in de buitenlandse kluizen van deze ondernemers!! Tegelijk heeft Ploumen toen succesvolle ontwikkelingsprojecten de kop omgedraaid, successen na jaren van werken met een pennenstreek vernietigd…..
Natuurlijk werden de mensenrechten weer van stal gehaald, ook door mensenrechtenschender Joe Biden, in wiens land het leven van een gekleurde nog minder waard is dan dat van een hond, een land waar in verhouding een enorm aantal gekleurden vastzit en waar men het grootste aantal mensen vasthoudt in isolatiefolter en dat in een aantal gevallen al meer dan 10 jaar (mensen isoleren is een zeer ernstige vorm van marteling, nog sterker als dit jaren aaneen duurt!!)…. Spreken over mensenrechtenschendingen en het tegelijkertijd eisen dat onderzoeksjournalist Julian Assange wordt uitgeleverd, terwijl deze niets anders dan zijn werk deed, maar ja als je de VS aanklaagt voor oorlogsmisdaden en andere bijzonder onfrisse zaken gelden deze mensenrechten blijkbaar niet meer…… Hetzelfde geldt voor klokkenluiders die met hun aanklachten de VS er minder fraai laten uitzien >> zij zijn vogelvrij en worden als het even kan vastgezet….. (daarvoor luistert justitie in de VS zelfs journalisten en mediaorganen af**, zodat men de klokkenluider kan arresteren en de schade nog enigszins kan beperken, een schande van jewelste!!)
Navalny werd als voorbeeld aangehaald als bewijs dat Rusland de mensenrechten schendt, deze bewezen fascistische misdadiger is blijkbaar belangrijker dan de gelauwerde onderzoeksjournalist Assange, die godbetert al meer dan 2 jaar in isolatiefolter zit en dat voor het op een correcte manier uitvoeren van zijn beroep…….
Vanmorgen besteedde sufferd Hammelburg zijn column aan de NAVO-top en zowaar het viel me mee dat hij de opengezette deur voor lidmaatschap van Oekraïne en overigens ook van Georgië, een blunder vond van de NAVO daar hiermee Putin wordt geprovoceerd (nou zeg maar geschoffeerd)…… Verder kwam Hammelburg met de leugen dat Rusland Georgië was binnengevallen daar dit land de pro-Russische enclaves Abchazië en Zuid-Ossetië wilde innemen. Terwijl Rusland deze enclaves te hulp schoot tegen het barbaarse geweld dat Georgië uitoefende tegen de bewoners van die enclaves o.a. door het bombarderen van woonwijken….. (een zware oorlogsmisdaad waar men in het westen het zwijgen toe deed….) Kortom Hammelburg doet het voorkomen als was dit een agressieve daad van Rusland terwijl het hier echt om een humanitaire missie ging, niet dat soort missies die Nederland zogenaamd deed om de VS te helpen bij haar illegale oorlogen tegen Afghanistan, Irak, Libië en Syrië…… Voorts kwam Hammelburg weer met de cliché leugen dat Rusland De Krim heeft ‘ingepikt’ (zie wat ik daar eerder over schreef), waar hij nu aan toevoegde dat Rusland ook Oost-Oekraïne heeft ingepikt……. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Wat een fantast, ongelofelijk!! Als het Russische leger in Oost-Oekraïne zou vechten had dit leger de Oekraïense neonazi-bataljons al lang weggevaagd, bataljons die telkens weer dorpen en steden in Oost-Oekraïne bombarderen, oorlogsmisdaden van grote proporties!!
Nog vergeten bij plaatsing van dit bericht: Joe Biden, een oorlogsmisdadiger van formaat, durfde Putin eerder een killer te noemen….. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! (2 uur na plaatsing toegevoegd)
* Ga maar na wat een enorme hysterie er in het westerse medialand en in de westerse politiek zou uitbreken als China of Rusland met drones mensen zouden uitschakelen in landen waar ze zoals de VS niets te zoeken hebben……. (wat zeg ik: de hysterie zou even groot zijn als deze landen dit op eigen bodem zouden doen!!)
Caitlin Johnstone heeft een derde artikel gewijd aan de ommezwaai die is gemaakt t.a.v. UFO’s, een ommezwaai die volledig te danken is aan de grootste terreurorganisatie ter wereld, het Pentagon…. Een paar jaar geleden heeft de Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (zoiets als onze staatssecretaris van Defensie) Chris Mellon een paar video’s gelekt naar de pers waaruit blijkt dat men wel degelijk te maken zou kunnen hebben met UFO’s, vliegende objecten die wat betreft het manoeuvreren technisch superieur zijn aan alle bekende vliegende aardse objecten……
Er zit uiteraard een enorme adder onder het gras: het Pentagon stelde niet dat het hier per se om buitenaards technologie gaat en je voelt ‘m waarschijnlijk al aankomen: het Pentagon houdt zwaar rekening met aardse technologie en gezien de mogelijkheden kunnen dat maar 2 landen zijn die iets dergelijks zouden kunnen bouwen >> Rusland of China….. Niet moeilijk om te raden waarom het Pentagon dit doet: juist >> een nog veel groter budget voor de luchtmacht, terwijl het totale budget voor dit jaar al 735 miljard dollar groot is, waar zo’n 14 miljoen kinderen in de VS tegelijkertijd hongerlijden en een enorm aantal mensen niet, of slecht is verzekerd tegen ziektekosten, zodat velen zelfs niet in aanmerking komen voor kankertherapieën…… Voorts: mochten Rusland of China over dergelijke technologie beschikken zou men deze al lang hebben ingezet in oorlogen en had men een groot aantal oorlogsmisdaden begaan door de VS en haar NAVO-bondgenoten kunnen voorkomen…….
Maar het kan nog veel verder gaan zo noemt Caitlin o.a. Tom DeLonge, de zanger Van Blink-182, die wordt gevoed met allerlei kul over UFO’s, in dit geval wel als alien technologie, waarbij deze aliens verantwoordelijk zijn voor oorlogen daar ze zich daarmee op de één of andere manier voeden….. (ha! ha! ha! >> ik heb zelden een nog dommere complottheorie gehoord) Voorts zou men atoombommen en alles wat daarna kwam op gebied van kernwapens hebben ontwikkeld om aliens te lijf te kunnen, daar men alleen daarmee deze buitenaardsen zou kunnen bestrijden…… ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!
Als het aliens ernst was om ons te lijf te gaan, was de mensheid al lang en breed uitgeroeid. Om te kunnen kunnen reizen over enorme afstanden waar je zelfs bij benadering van de snelheid van het licht de dichtstbijzijnde planeten waar leven zou kunnen bestaan, alsnog een paar honderd jaar moeten reizen, echter deze aliens zouden over technologie beschikken waarmee ze dergelijke reizen heel veel sneller kunnen doen (en daarmee in feite kunnen tijdreizen)……. Zelf hoop ik dat wanneer buitenaardsen ons in de gaten houden, deze zullen ingrijpen voordat we de wereld letterlijk naar god of thor hebben geholpen, iets waar we keihard op afstevenen, ondanks alle ‘mooie’ maar zeer valse praatjes van politici en foute wetenschappers die zich hebben verkocht aan het grote bedrijfsleven….. Het is nu al zeker dat de wereldtemperatuur aan het eind van deze eeuw met heel wat meer zal zijn gestegen dan ons met het lamme klimaatakkoord van Parijs werd beloofd >> 1,5 graad Celsius……. Dat betekent dat flinke delen van onze kleine planeet onbewoonbaar zullen worden, hetzij doordat de temperatuur zo hoog is gestegen dat je daar niet kan overleven, dan wel door het onderlopen van laaggelegen gebieden….. Op 4 juni jl. werd bekend gemaakt dat met een onderzoek van de universiteit van Londen is aangetoond dat het Arctisch ijs twee keer zo snel smelt dan eerder gedacht, wat betekent dat de zeespiegel veel sneller stijgt dan eerder werd berekend……..
Terug naar het UFO verhaal: hoe dan ook, wat de uitkomst ook zal zijn (of alien technologie dan wel aardse technologie), het Pentagon wint altijd met een ferm groter budget dan men daar nu al krijgt en dat is voor dit jaar al het meer dan belachelijk grote bedrag van 735 miljard dollar……(en waarvan precies als in Nederland al een paar keer gezien, grote sommen uitgegeven geld niet achterhaald kunnen worden….)…. ‘Waar angstzaaien al niet goed voor is……..’
Tot slot nog dit: het overgrote deel van de landen heeft ervoor getekend dat elke alien die wordt aangetroffen onmiddellijk moet worden geëxecuteerd…….. Te gek voor woorden……..

Half
of the UFO articles coming out of the mass media these days are
basically just stalwart propagandists for the western empire explaining
to each other that it’s okay to talk about UFOs now and they should all
feel perfectly fine and normal about that.
In a Washington Post article titled “Why aren’t we talking more about UFOs?“,
the author complains that her Twitter feed (read: her journalist
friends) doesn’t have enough people talking about this strange new
phenomenon they’re all allowed to talk about now.
In a Spectator article titled “It’s getting harder to laugh off the idea of UFOs“,
the author argues that it’s now the UFO people who are the calm,
rational ones, and those disputing the narratives we’re being fed are
the “embarrassingly over-emotional” kooks.
These
unprincipled propagandists are falling all over themselves to dismantle
taboos which they’ve been unquestioningly upholding and enforcing for
decades, really for no other reason than because they were told to by
the US military.

Can
we take a minute to ingest how obnoxious that is? The “free press”, the
journalistic institutions who are purportedly responsible for
maintaining a well-informed public and holding the power to account, are
now reporting something they used to scoff at and dismiss, because the US military told them it’s legitimate.
The
US military. The single most dangerous part of the single most powerful
government on earth, who the press is meant to be holding accountable
with the light of truth. The part of the US government where intense
skepticism is the most important. They’re not just failing to apply
critical journalism, but are actively picking up the torch and running
with a story as bizarre as the possibility that extraterrestrials are
buzzing around the earth’s atmosphere.
The
fact that the mass media are now talking about UFOs all the time
because the US military told them it’s a legitimate story to cover says
very little about UFOs, but it says a lot about the mass media.
These outlets are propaganda firms. Clearly. When The New York Timesfirst reported
that US officials familiar with the government UFO report say that UFOs
might be alien aircraft or could be secret Russian or Chinese
technology, but say it’s definitely not any kind of secret US
technology, there was not a shred of incredulity from the mass media
about the latter claim. News media institutions all took great pains to inform their audiences
that UFOs could be a sign that the US is losing the arms race to Russia
and China, and that it could totally be space aliens, but I never saw
one news report reminding readers to take US government denials of
possession of secret aerial technology with a very large grain of salt.
These
propaganda institutions aren’t just selling the public one
irresponsible story here, they’re selling them two. They’re not just
uncritically reporting that UFOs are definitely real and probably
threatening, they’re also tacitly selling the false idea that the US war
machine does not have an extremely well-documented history of lying.
The
more I learn about this new UFO narrative and its origins the more of a
freaky psyop it looks like. It’s clearly been packaged for and marketed
to mainstream Americans who don’t understand global power dynamics or
the depravity of the US military/intelligence machine. There’s basically
just a handful of people
who are officially responsible for this weird new mainstream UFO
plotline, and they’re all either military/intelligence insiders, sleazy
warmongering politicians, or the singer from Blink-182.
I really mean that, by the way; Blink 182’s Tom DeLonge and his To The Stars Academy played a critical role
in the unfolding of this story. Think about how easy that situation
would be to manipulate. All you’d really need is to surround DeLonge
with some spooks feeding him whatever information you want him to
believe, allow some “leaks” to the press, and then you’ve got this
vaguely organic-looking group seeding out information that you wanted to
get out anyway so you can advance whatever agendas you’ve got planned.
And if you listen to DeLonge talk at length
about the insane things he’s been told about aliens and UFOs by the
military and intelligence insiders he’s surrounded himself with, it’s
pretty clear he’s at the center of some kind of disinfo operation. The
things he’s been told include things like that aliens
are responsible for the world’s wars, that they feed off human conflict
and negativity, that nuclear tests were actually the military targeting
alien aircraft because that’s how you kill them, and that the US
military has been acting heroically in the highest interest for the
benefit of mankind against these malevolent entities.
How hard would it be to take a naive rock star who comes from a military family,
who trusts the US war machine, and who desperately wants to believe in
UFOs, and use him to insert a desired narrative into public
consciousness? I reckon not too hard.
This
is what the mass media are swallowing hook, line and sinker, with zero
gag reflex, and regurgitating into the minds of their audiences.
And now you’ve got philosopher Sam Harris reporting
that he’s been contacted by insiders allegedly privy to special
knowledge about this thing who are telling him that “when this other
shoe drops you’re going to be in the position of having to acknowledge
that all the experts are on the same page, and there’s just this blanket
declaration that we’re in the presence of alien technology, we don’t
know what to make of it. So prepare your brain for that and figure out
what you’re going to do.”
Pretty
jarring stuff. Now, re-read it with the understanding that he’s talking
about some sort of military or intelligence operative who is openly
prepping a high-profile influencer. Looks a bit different in that light,
no?
Like
DeLonge, Harris has also demonstrated a blindly trusting mind when it
comes to the US war machine, which is kind of funny coming from an
outspoken atheist who prides himself in his logic and evidence-based
worldview. Harris has placed his trust in everything from Russia hysteria to the “war on terror” to the invasion of Afghanistan, so he makes another ideal mark for uncritically seeding disinformation out to the public.

You’d
have to be absolutely out of your mind to trust anything we’re being
told about any of this, and this is coming from someone who has actually
seen UFOs. On two separate occasions I’ve seen lights in the night sky
behaving in ways known technologies can’t explain, and I’ve had plenty
of other experiences most people would consider extraordinary as well.
And I still place exactly zero trust in this new UFO plotline. And neither should you.
Today

I’ve been learning as much as I can about the new UFO narrative the political/media class have been pushing in conjunction with the US military to prepare for the Senate report that’s due to be released this month.
One
of the disconcerting things I’ve been seeing again and again from all
the major players in this new narrative like Lue Elizondo and
Christopher Mellon is the absurd assertion that not only is it entirely
possible that the unknown phenomena allegedly being regularly witnessed
by military personnel are extraterrestrial in origin, but that if they
are extraterrestrial they may want to hurt us.
Mellon,
the former US Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Intelligence
who helped get the ball rolling on UFOs entering mainstream attention
back in 2017 when he leaked three Pentagon videos to The New York Times, has stated that he sees extraterrestrial origin as an entirely possible explanation for these phenomena.
“We don’t even understand how you could do something like that,” Mellon said in a recent interview with CTV News
of the inexplicable maneuvers and features these aircraft supposedly
demonstrate. “We don’t even understand the science behind it. Not like
somebody’s a couple generations of fighter jet behind us; I mean this is
a whole difference of kind, not degree.”

Asked
why the pilots of mysterious aircraft with incomprehensible scientific
advancement might want to monitor the US military, Mellon said the
following:
“Well
probably for the same reason we do: to understand what kind of threat
we could pose to them. Should a conflict arise they want to be able to
engage us effectively, defeat us rapidly, at minimum cost of life and
treasure, just as we would on the other side. We do similar kinds of
things; we don’t have vehicles quite like this, but we’re certainly very
actively monitoring military forces of other countries.”
The
notion that UFOs could pose a threat to humans whether their alleged
operators are from our own world or from another is being promoted by
the main drivers of this strange new plotline, and it is being
enthusiastically lapped up by many UFO enthusiasts who see framing these
phenomena as a national security threat as the best way to get
mainstream power structures to take them seriously and disclose
information to the public.
This
is bothersome for a couple of separate reasons. Firstly, it is of
course bothersome because one ought to be bothered any time military and
intelligence insiders make unsubstantiated claims that there’s a
foreign threat to US security. The added notion that this foreign threat
could be from another world carries all kinds of implications for what
kinds of unprecedentedly radical policy and funding adjustments would
have to be made in order to counter this supposed threat, and it would
take an appalling amount of gullibility to believe that those
adjustments would be made for that reason at this point in time instead
of the very obvious reason that the US is in a new and escalating cold war with both Russia and China.

Secondly,
it’s bothersome because it just says so much about human madness that
people believe UFOs could simultaneously be the product of an immensely
advanced extraterrestrial civilization, and also be a threat. They could
be one or the other, but not both.
Just
in our own tiny blip of recorded history, humanity has matured mentally
and emotionally during our time on this planet. We no longer accept it
as normal for our governments to torture someone to death in the town
square, for example, and owning another human being as property is now
seen as reprehensible. We’ve still got a mountain of inner demons to
conquer, but you also can’t deny that we’ve created a much more conscious and peaceful world for ourselves than the one we used to live in.
Imagine
how much further an intelligent life form would have progressed if it
began maturing millions of years earlier than ours. Imagine how
emotionally and intellectually developed a civilization would have to be
to make it past all the self-imposed dangers its own intelligence posed
to it like the dangers human intelligence poses to us now, if it had passed the great test
and cleared that hurdle in its maturation process, and then gone on
maturing for thousands or millions of years past the point we’re at now.
When
I bring this up online people tell me, “Well look at what the Europeans
did when they met indigenous populations! That’s what happens when a
more advanced civilization meets a less advanced one.”
You see this ridiculous notion pushed everywhere, including by supposedly smart people like Stephen Hawking,
that Europeans meeting the indigenous people of Africa, Australia and
the Americas is a good model for what we could expect from an encounter
with a civilization millions of years more advanced than our own. This
reveals a fallacious assumption that genocidal Europeans were in fact
“more advanced” than the other humans they met around the world; they
were a bit more technologically advanced, but any research on the
horrific things they did to those people will show you that they were
emotionally infantile by today’s standards. It also looks at humans who
began developing on the same planet at the same time as comparable to
extraterrestrials who would have begun developing long before us.
Beyond the fact that we have seen in our own experience that an intelligent consciousness will keep expanding its consciousness
over time, the most glaring piece of evidence that UFOs could pose no
threat to us if they are extraterrestrial is that if they did, they
would have taken us out long ago. UFO encounters have been documented
for generations; there is nothing humans could do to stop a sentient
species that is orders of magnitude technologically superior to us, no
matter what the movies say.
If
extraterrestrials are here they clearly don’t want to hurt us, and why
would they? What could we possibly have that they’d want? In the
unlikely event that there is some kind of element or resource here that
they need, there’s no reason to believe they couldn’t get it elsewhere,
or indeed that they couldn’t create it themselves at the level of
scientific understanding they’d necessarily be operating from.
The
idea that a civilization could attain a level of advancement comparable
to ours, successfully learn to share resources and collaborate enough
to avoid wiping itself out, continue maturing for a very long time,
master interstellar, intergalactic, and/or interdimensional travel,
create aircraft that can operate in the way people who encounter them
describe, and then fly across the universe to go kill a bunch of
barely-evolved primates for some reason is just absurd on its face, and
even if such a thing could happen it would have happened already.
I’ve
sat through so much video footage on this subject, and I just get so
frustrated listening to all these military-minded men talking about the
need to know what the “capabilities” of these things are and how to
prevent them from posing a threat to “national security”. If we are in
fact not alone in this universe and are in fact being visited by other
civilizations, these are the absolute stupidest questions we could
possibly be asking ourselves about them. Not how can we contact them,
not is it possible to communicate with them, not what could we learn
from them, not where are they from and what is their story, but how can
we kill them if we need to.
I
have no idea if we are being visited by ETs, but if we are the US
military is literally the worst thing our species could possibly use to
relate to them.

Ondanks de beloften van Biden voorafgaand aan de door hem gewonnen verkiezingen en beloften daarna gedaan, stuurt Biden onbegeleide vluchtelingenkinderen terug, ondanks dat dit volgens Amnesty en andere deskundigen op dit gebied gevaarlijk is en gewetenloos….. Daar zou ik nog aan toe willen voegen dat het terugsturen van gevluchte kinderen een schending is van de internationale kinderrechten en een schending van het VN Vluchtelingenverdrag……. Het gaat hier om de zoveelste van een aantal beloften die Biden deed maar waar hij zich niet aan wenst te houden. En zoals op andere dossiers had men dit kunnen weten, immers Biden was als vicepresident onder Obama al mede hoofdverantwoordelijk voor een uiterst inhumaan vluchtelingenbeleid, dat ook destijds mensenrechtenschendend was plus zoals je zal begrijpen een schending van het VN Vluchtelingenverdrag….. Ook destijds werden kinderen van vluchtelingen gezinnen afgenomen en ondergebracht in wat je het best kan vergelijken met concentratiekampen…….* En nee, Trump was niet de eerste die de laatst genoemde misdaad beging, voorts zou de Obama administratie in verhouding meer vluchtelingen hebben gedeporteerd dan die van Trump….
Concentratiekampen voor kinderen, rollen met NAVO-draad (voorzien van scheermessen) niet tegen binnendringers, maar om kinderen tegen te houden die willen vluchten….. Schunnig!!!
Schandalig dan ook dat de reguliere westerse media in deze zaak destijds met de zogenaamd onafhankelijke vingers alleen naar Trump hebben gewezen…… Ach ja, Obama was de beloofde messias-president volgens de reguliere media, waarbij deze ook nog de Nobelprijs voor de Vrede kreeg, terwijl hij de eerste VS president was die beide termijnen in (illegale) oorlogen was verwikkeld en daarnaast ook nog eens illegale oorlogen begon, om nog maar te zwijgen over de moord middels drones op duizenden verdachten, waarbij meer dan 90% van de slachtoffers niet eens werd verdacht……. Eén en ander was en is de reden dat veel Hondurezen op de vlucht zijn geslagen, waarbij de VS de meest logische bestemming was en is……. Nog afgelopen januari sloeg een groep van vele duizenden Hondurezen op de vlucht richting VS en ook onder hen veel onbegeleide kinderen, als reactie daarop heeft de Biden administratie de Mexicaanse autoriteiten onder druk gezet hen niet de zuidelijke grens over te laten steken, daarvoor heeft de VS zelfs menskrachten ter beschikking gesteld aan de Mexicaanse grensautoriteiten…….
Kinderen terugsturen naar Mexico is hen direct blootstellen aan moord en misbruik….. Om even aan te geven hoe gevaarlijk Mexico is voor vluchtelingen: sinds de Oorlog tegen Drugs (War on Drugs) in 2004 werd doorgevoerd in Mexico zijn er 400.000 mensen vermoord……. Juist het noorden van Mexico is bijzonder gevaarlijk en dat is de plek waar die kinderen terechtkomen nadat ze zijn teruggestuurd…..

‘Dangerous and Unconscionable’: Amnesty Finds Biden Is Illegally Expelling Thousands of Unaccompanied Children
“The
Biden administration is summarily returning almost all unaccompanied
Mexican children just hours after they seek safe haven, often without
considering the risks they could face upon return.”
A detailed new report by Amnesty International finds
that the Biden administration is abusing an anti-trafficking law to
forcibly expel thousands of unaccompanied Mexican children seeking
asylum at the United States’ southern border, often sending them back to
dangerous conditions without adequately screening for threats to their
safety.
Titled Pushed Into Harm’s Way, the 50-page report
(pdf) released Friday documents the Biden administration’s effective
continuation of its predecessor’s policy of rejecting nearly all
asylum-seekers at official ports of entry along the U.S.-Mexico border.
Though Biden immigration authorities have largely stopped applying to unaccompanied children a Trump-era Title 42 policy that used the pandemic as a pretext
to expel migrants, the new administration is “misusing a provision of
anti-trafficking legislation concerning Mexican unaccompanied children
to deprive them of effective screenings for harm and to deny them access
to asylum procedures,” Amnesty alleges.
The Trafficking Victims
Protection Reauthorization Act (TVPRA) requires U.S. officials to screen
unaccompanied children to confirm they are not victims of human
trafficking and ensure that returning them to their home country would
not threaten their safety.
As The Intercept‘s Ryan Devereaux reported
Friday, “Since 2006, when the so-called war on drugs became a military
campaign in Mexico, more than 400,000 people have been killed.”
“Large
regions of the country are frequently home to rampant violence and
impunity,” Devereaux continued. “Many border cities in the north of the
country, the localities where the U.S. removes people to on a regular
basis, are among the most dangerous, particularly for migrants and
asylum-seekers who are often targets of extortion and kidnapping.”
But
despite the requirements under TVPRA, Customs and Border Protection
(CBP) officials “are often not performing child-protection screenings
faithfully, appropriately, or with reasonable informed consent of the
children, who often do not understand what is happening during the
process,” Amnesty’s report notes.
“The Biden administration is
summarily returning almost all unaccompanied Mexican children just hours
after they seek safe haven, often without considering the risks they
could face upon return,” Erika Guevara-Rosas, Americas director at
Amnesty International, said in a statement.
The new report comes days after Vice President Kamala Harris, during a visit to Guatemala, explicitly warned would-be migrants not to travel to the U.S.-Mexico border in search of refuge, telling them they “will be turned back.”
“Do not come,” said Harris.
Vedant
Patel, assistant White House press secretary and a Biden immigration
adviser, sent a similar message when speaking to reporters last month.
“The
policy right now for Mexican unaccompanied minors is for them to be
repatriated,” said Patel, using a euphemism for forced expulsion.
Amnesty
says in its report that “since January 2021, the Biden administration
has continued to exempt only unaccompanied migrant children from the
[Trump-era Title 42] policy, pushing families to make an impossible
choice.”
The report continues:
Likely thousands
of children have had to separate from their asylum-seeking parents in
order to escape dangerous border regions of northern Mexico, and have
then crossed the border alone, since they would otherwise be deported as
a family if their parents crossed with them. In addition to compelling
families to separate unnecessarily, U.S. border authorities still
reportedly turn unaccompanied children away at some of the most heavily
trafficked official ports-of-entry and deny them access to asylum
procedures. Despite their legal right to request protection at
ports-of-entry, the vast majority of unaccompanied children instead take
dangerous journeys across the open border—often at the mercy of
smugglers.
Now, while unaccompanied children are no longer
subjected to mass expulsions under Title 42, U.S. border authorities are
still immediately returning the vast majority of unaccompanied Mexican
children who enter the USA.
In an interview with
Amnesty researchers, the director of the border rights program at the
legal services organization Al Otro Lado recounted the story of an
unaccompanied boy from Mexico whom CBP officials were attempting to
expel this past March.
“He was held in CBP custody six to eight
days and was not given the opportunity to call his family or me his
lawyer, despite the fact that I entered a G28 [legal representation
form] and requested that he be permitted to contact his uncle in
California,” the advocate said. “His family sent him alone and his
parents were in hiding in Mexico. They feared the whole family would be
sent back, which is why they sent him alone.”
According to
Amnesty, the boy was “ultimately held in CBP custody for seven days
(more than double the legally permitted time) before being transferred
to [the Office of Refugee Resettlement], from whose custody he was
released to a close family member in the United States. As of May 2021,
his family remained in hiding in Mexico, unable to request asylum
protection with their son due to the Biden administration’s retention of
the Title 42 policy.”
Amnesty International @amnesty The US and Mexican governments are forcibly returning tens of thousands of unaccompanied children to the countries they just fled in search of safety, without adequate screenings or protection from the harm they may face upon return.
The
Biden administration’s policy of turning away most unaccompanied
children amounts to a “systematic” violation of their right to seek
asylum, Amnesty says, casting further doubt on President Joe Biden’s
promise to create a more humane immigration system in contrast to the
overt cruelty of the Trump era.
The humanitarian group’s report
also shows that Mexican authorities are deporting the “vast majority” of
unaccompanied children that arrive from Central American nations
seeking safety from violence and persecution.
“These are dangerous
and unconscionable policies,” said Amnesty’s Guevara-Rosas. “The United
States and Mexico must stop denying unaccompanied children their
universal human rights to seek asylum and to family unity, no matter
where they’re from.”
Specifically, Amnesty is calling on Biden to
immediately withdraw the Trump administration’s Title 42 rule, order CBP
to stop rejecting asylum-seeking children at ports of entry along the
U.S.-Mexico border, and “swiftly facilitate all asylum claims by
unaccompanied children—irrespective of their nationality—and their
expeditious release to family members or other sponsors in the USA.”

Hè hè, dat mocht tijd worden: de New York Times (NYT), een grote vertegenwoordiger van de VS massamedia, die toegeeft dat niet het socialisme, maar de illegale sancties van de VS (gevolgd door VS schoothonden Canada, [Groot-Brittannië] en de EU) de reden zijn dat de economie van Venezuela naar de knoppen wordt geholpen en het land de vernieling indraait……. Eerder heeft de NYT als zo ongeveer alle andere westerse reguliere media de Venezolaanse regering met smerige propaganda gedemoniseerd, iets waar zelfs de zogenaamd onafhankelijke NOS en VPRO aan mee hebben gedaan (en dat nog doen!!)……
Zoals gezegd: illegale sancties, daar hiervoor geen VN resolutie werd aangenomen….. Sancties gebaseerd op leugens als zou president Maduro een dictator zijn en geen steun hebben onder het volk, terwijl hij elke verkiezing met een meerderheid wint…… Geen wonder als je ziet hoe Maduro en zijn voorganger Chavez de enorme armoede in het land hebben aangepakt door: betaalbare goede huisvesting, alfabetisering middels gratis onderwijs, gratis gezondheidszorg en lage energieprijzen……..
Tja genoemde zaken zijn alleen voor elkaar te krijgen met een socialistisch/communistisch* bewind, terwijl het kapitalisme, of beter gezegd nu het neoliberalisme genoemde zaken zo duur mogelijk verkoopt dan wel verhuurt, neem alleen al onze zorgverzekering: we betalen ons scheel en als er een ‘pandemie’ uitbreekt zijn er te weinig ziekenhuisbedden, IC bedden en verpleegkundigen, dit ten gevolge van neoliberale bezuinigingen op de zorg en de toestemming van de overheid aan zorgverzekeringen om ziekenhuizen te sluiten…..**
Het is een goede zaak dat het eindelijk tot een groot mediaorgaan als de New York Times is doorgedrongen dat niet het socialistische bewind van Maduro en zijn voorganger Chavez de oorzaak is van de deplorabele toestand van de Venezolaanse economie, maar de illegale sancties van de VS, Groot-Brittannië, Canada en de EU…… Hierbij moet nog opgemerkt worden dat de VS al onder Chavez de supermarktketens uit de VS onder druk zette haar winkels in Venezuela zo min mogelijk te bevoorraden, dit met de opzet het volk ontevreden te maken, zodat men in opstand zou komen tegen Chavez….. Het voorgaande nog naast acties van de CIA die de oppositie opstookte in verzet te gaan tegen het bewind van Chavez en later Maduro, waarbij de CIA terreurgroepen gelinkt aan een paar oppositiepartijen van wapens heeft voorzien…….
Dat al deze acties geen zin hebben gehad heeft dan ook alles te maken met de grote aanhang die eerder Chavez en nu Maduro heeft onder de bevolking….. De door de VS aangewezen ‘oppositieleider’ Guaidó, die zelfs door deze terreurstaat werd aangewezen als president van Venezuela, had voordien 2 à 3 procent van de stemmen, niet voor niets dat de VS deze psychopathische schoft aanwees, daar de echt grote oppositiepartijen te veel op de hand waren (en zijn) van Maduro……
Intussen hebben de terreursancties van de VS en haar trouwe schoothonden Canada, Groot-Brittannië en de EU ervoor gezorgd dat er meer dan 50.000 Venezolanen zijn omgekomen, veelal door een gebrek aan medicijnen en medische apparatuur, die volgens de VS niet onder de sanctie vallen, terwijl de dagelijkse werkelijkheid al jaren laat zien dat deze wel onder de sancties vallen…… Sterker nog: een bedrag van 5 miljard dollar dat Venezuela in de VS had gereserveerd voor de aankoop van medicijnen en medische apparatuur is door de VS geconfisqueerd (lees: gestolen) in het kader van die illegale sancties!!!*** (het getal van 50.000 overlijdens is een cijfer van vorig jaar en zal nu gegarandeerd veel hoger liggen…..)
Lees het door Peter Bolton geschreven artikel dat ik overnam van CounterPunch en geeft het door, de hoogste tijd dat men eindelijk ontwaakt uit de coma dat alles goed is wat de VS doet, terwijl deze vereniging van terreurstaten de boel over een groot deel van de aarde destabiliseert door: -illegale oorlogen, -het organiseren van opstanden, -het op touw zetten van staatsgrepen (in veel gevallen tegen democratisch gekozen regeringen), -het op grote schaal vermoorden van verdachten middels drones, waarbij meer dan 90% van de vermoorde slachtoffers niet eens werd verdacht, -geheime militaire acties onder regie van de CIA en dat in landen waar de VS niets te zoeken heeft, enz. enz…..

The facile right-wing talking point that the economic crisis facing
Venezuela “proves” that “socialism always ends in failure” has become so
hackneyed by overuse that it has attained its own tongue-in-cheek name.
The ad Venezuelum, as it has come to be known, has slowly
developed into such a tedious and predictable right-wing tactic that it
seems to now serve as an all-purpose retort to try to discredit even the
most modest of left-of-center proposals. In October 2018, for instance,
then-President Trump responded to a plan by progressive Democrats in
congress to introduce a bill to establish a system of universal public
healthcare – something which every industrialized country other than the
US already has – by stating: “It’s going to be a disaster for our country. It will turn our country into a Venezuela.”
Analysts on the left have long toiled against the ad Venezuelum
by pointing out the myriad genuine explanations behind the economic
crisis that has been roiling the country since around 2014. Caleb
Maupin, for instance, has argued that falling oil prices were a key
factor in the collapse of Venezuela’s economy. This is hardly a
controversial point given that Venezuela’s dependence on oil, which was first discovered
in the 1920s, has led to a highly unstable economy featuring regular
bouts of economic chaos caused by a sudden drop in the price of crude.
In the early 1980s, during the government of Luis Herrera (of the
right-wing COPEI party), for example, there was a huge economic crisis
with many of the same features as the one confronting the country
today. Needless to say, no one at the time tried to pass this off as
proof that capitalism doesn’t work.
Ryan Mallet-Outtrim, who himself lived in Venezuela for several years, has argued
that the government’s monetary policy has been one of the main factors
behind the crisis. In particular, he pointed out that the fixed exchange
rate, which of course is hardly socialistic in nature, had an
unintended effect on demand for currency that in turn led to an
inflationary spiral. He is not alone is his criticism of the fixed
exchange rate; economist Mark Weisbrot of the Center for Economic and
Policy Research (CEPR), who like Mallet-Outtrim is broadly sympathetic
to the Chavista government, has argued for years that Venezuela should drop it in favor of a floating exchange rate.
I myself argued in a 2016 essay
for the Council on Hemispheric Affairs that an economic war waged by a
domestic societal elite, and abetted by the United States, has been a
major cause of the crisis. Though dismissed by critics of Chavismo
as a conspiracy theory, there is, in fact, ample evidence of an
economic war against the Venezuelan government ever since Hugo Chavez
was first elected in 1998. The so-called oil strike,
for instance, (in reality a management-led lockout) was a transparent
attempt to bring about regime change by crippling the economy. Cases of hoarding goods and deliberately disrupting supply chains on the part of the opposition-friendly private business sector, meanwhile, have been well-documented.
All of these explanations have undoubtedly formed part of the rich
tapestry of causation behind Venezuela’s economic woes. But what is
equally undeniable is that US-imposed sanctions have augmented these
factors as well as compounded the suffering felt by ordinary
Venezuelans. As Roger Harris pointed out in a May 4 essay for CounterPunch,
even a US government-authored report admits that “sanctions,
particularly on the state oil company in 2019, likely contributed to the
steeper decline of the Venezuelan economy.” Now, in addition to the US
government itself, one its major organs of interventionist propaganda
has conceded this exact same point.
In a May 30 article in The New York Times
about how organized crime groups have stepped in to provide services in
certain Caracas neighborhoods, Isayen Herrera and Anatoly Kurmanaev
seem to almost inadvertently acknowledge that Venezuela is
“disintegrat[ing] under the weight of Mr. Maduro’s corrupt leadership
and American [sic] sanctions.” This is quite an admission from a
publication that has been at the cutting edge of disseminating the ad Venzuelum
as well as propagandizing for the US-orchestrated coup led by so-called
‘interim president’ Juan Guaidó and for US interventionism more
broadly.
Outside the Alice in Wonderland world of the US corporate-owned
media, however, this claim is uncontroversial. In addition to the
aforementioned US government report that openly admits that US sanctions
have exacerbated the crisis, a 2019 CEPR study
authored by Weisbrot and development economist Jeffrey Sachs found the
number of deaths caused by these sanctions to have stood at 40,000
between 2017 and 2018 (that is, before the coup had even begun). In
early 2020, United Nations (UN) Special Rapporteur for Venezuela, Alfred
de Zayas, estimated
civilian deaths caused by sanctions to stand at around 100,000. This
would almost certainly need to be revised up significantly as of June
2021 – not least because Venezuela, like the rest of Latin America, has
been particularly hard hit by the coronavirus pandemic.
The US government’s intention behind the sanctions, meanwhile, is
straightforward. Its goal is to goad the country’s populace into turning
against its government via a brutal form of collective punishment –
something which is illegal
according to international law. Since the 1960s, successive US
administrations in Washington have honed this tactic via the so-called
trade embargo against Cuba. This crippling form of non-military warfare,
more accurately described as an economic blockade, has led to roughly $130 billion in damage to Cuba’s economy according to UN figures and has inflicted severe suffering on Cuba’s civilian population according to mainstream human rights organizations and academic research.
The Times’ other claim that corruption is a major factor in the economic crisis facing Venezuela also discredits the ad Venezuelum.
As international relations scholars point out, corruption is often
endemic to resource rich countries, especially those in the developing
world, and irrespective of the ideological stripe of their governments.
Perhaps due to its indispensable importance for modern economies, of all
the natural resources, oil seems to be the worst in its corrupting
effects on a country in which it exists in abundance. Indeed, corruption
hardly began in Venezuela upon Chavez’s election, but rather has been a recurring feature of its history that has debilitated the country’s economy under governments of both the left and the right.
There is a degree of irony to the Times’ reference to corruption as well. Because academic studies have demonstrated
that sanctions actually lead to increases in corruption and organized
criminal activity in the countries they target. Writing in Quartz, political scientist Bryan R. Early of the University of Albany, SUNY, points out
that: “Not only are sanctions… frequently ineffective, they also can be
counterproductive… [because they] encourage government corruption and
the development of transnational organized crime.” So, apparently the Times authors are oblivious to the fact that US sanctions are ipso factopartly
to blame for the phenomenon they describe in their article. Early adds:
“Recent studies have shown… that sanctioned governments tend to become
less democratic and are more likely to engage in human rights abuses,
restrict women’s rights, and curb media freedoms.”
Note the cruel irony that these are some of the very alleged
pathologies on which Washington bases its sanctions against Venezuela in
the first place. And this shines a light on the fundamental duplicity
and dishonesty that lies behind the US’s entire sanctions regime,
whether it be against Venezuela, Nicaragua, Cuba or any other US
adversary. Concerns about alleged corruption, alleged organized criminal
activity, alleged human rights abuses, alleged deficits in media
freedom or women’s rights, or, indeed, alleged breakdowns in democracy
are not, and never have been, the factors on which Washington bases its
decision to place sanctions on another country. If they were, then how
come it not only issues no punitive measures whatsoever against the
brutal Saudi dictatorship or the murderous narco-state in Honduras, but
rather enters into lucrative arms deals with the former and lavishes the latter with generous funding for its state security forces?
Rather, Washington bases its decision to impose sanctions on a very
simple criterion – whether or not a country is obediently serving its
economic and geostrategic interests and accommodating its preferred
neoliberal economic system. All of the aforementioned publicly
proclaimed motivations are just post-hoc bogus justifications
to give a veneer of credibility to (and manufacture consent for) its
global campaign of naked coercion. We will surely never hear the likes
of The New York Timespoint that out. But its
admission that sanctions and corruption, rather than the purported
inherent failures of socialism, are amongst the major causal factors of
Venezuela’s economic crisis is surely a step in the right direction.

aantreden van Rutte 1 nog 2.200 IC bedden hadden, een aantal dat vorig
jaar bij het uitbreken van het virus was teruggebracht tot 1.100 bedden
en daarmee is ook het aantal IC verpleegkundigen met bijna de helft
gekrompen……
