Vandaag is het ‘Earth Overshoot Day’ (ook wel: Ecological Debt Day), dit betekent dat de mens vandaag al net zoveel aan grondstoffen en voedsel e.d. heeft gebruikt, als de aarde in 1 jaar tijd kan leveren en aan afvalstoffen kan verwerken……
Jan Jonker, hoogleraar aan de Radbout Universiteit, sprak hierover op op BNR (rond 8.50 u.). Uitermate schunnig is het feit, dat wat betreft Nederland deze dag al op 18 april van dit jaar was bereikt……..
En nog deed en doet de demissionaire regering Rutte 2, veel en veel te weinig om het tij te keren….. Ach ja, wie dan leeft (als de boel hier totaal verkankerd is) wie dan zorgt…….
Nadat de eigenaar van de Fukushima rampreactoren al miljoenen liters radioactief water in de oceaan heeft laten lopen, heeft deze eigenaar, TEPCO, besloten nog eens een slordige 770 miljoen liter (!!!) nucleair afvalwater in de Stille Oceaan te dumpen………
Volgens Japanse media ontbreekt alleen nog de handtekening van de nucleair maffe regering van dat land……. M.a.w. die handtekening zal er komen! De beslissing om deze troep te dumpen wordt gesteund door de Nuclear Regulation Authority (NRA), de topman van deze organisatie heeft de topgraaier van TEPCO toegevoegd dat wanneer hij deze beslissing niet neemt, hij afgezet zou moeten worden als directeur………
Volgens deskundige Simon Boxall, die door The Guardian werd geciteerd, kan het geen kwaad als dit nucleair vervuilde water in de oceaan wordt gedumpt. Verdunning zou het gevaar neutraliseren……. Deze schoft vergeet even dat er sinds de 50er jaren al minstens een paar miljard liter nucleair vervuild water in zee is gedumpt, dit nog naast vaten met nucleair afval, die intussen voor een groot deel allang moeten zijn gebarsten…..
Uiteraard is het te zot voor woorden deze radioactieve troep in zee te dumpen, terwijl we weten dat het dumpen van ‘normale troep’ als plastic en andere rotzooi in zee moet stoppen, om verdere verzuring en opwarming tegen te gaan. Vergeet daarnaast niet, dat de oliebedrijven in de VS intussen al miljoenen liters door fracken vervuild water in de oceaan hebben gedumpt……… Bovendien zijn er, zoals gezegd, ten tijde van het voltrekken van deze ramp met de reactoren, al vele miljoenen liters nucleair vervuild water in de oceaan ‘verdwenen……….’
Dit bericht ontving ik gisteren via Anti-Media, toevallig dezelfde dag dat Stan van Houcke een bericht plaatste over het voornemen van de nucleaire lobbyisten in de Japanse regering, de bevolking van Fukushima en het gebied daarachter te herhuisvesten in het nucleair besmette gebied waar zij voor de ramp woonden…….. Nog gekker: Japan heeft wedstrijden van de Olympische Spelen in 2020 gepland in Fukushima!!!* Het is duidelijk dat de huidige smerige regering van Japan nucleaire energie van haar slechte naam wil ontdoen, zelfs al zou dit ten koste gaan van duizenden slachtoffers!!
Mocht e.e.a. doorgaan, zou de Japanse regering voor het Internationaal Strafhof moeten worden gedaagd….. Daarover gesproken: het is de hoogste tijd, dat ook schoften uit het bedrijfsleven (zoals die van TEPCO) worden vervolgd door dit strafhof, als zij aantoonbaar verantwoordelijk zijn voor een ramp zoals die in Fukushima en zoals in dit geval voor het dumpen van rotzooi in het milieu!!

Plant Owner Decides to Dump 777,000 Tons of Nuclear Waste Into Ocean

than three-quarters of a million tons of radioactive water is about
to be dumped into the Pacific Ocean if the chairmen of the Tokyo
Electric Power Company (TEPCO) and the Nuclear Regulation Authority
(NRA) have their way, Japanese mediareportedover
the weekend. All they require now is final government approval.
“The
decision has already been made,” TEPCO
chairman Takashi Kawamura told the media, according
to the Japan
Times.
As
of July 6, about 777,000 tons of tritium-tainted water is
being stored in
about 580 tanks at the Fukushima nuclear plant. The water, which is
constantly injected into leaking reactor No. 1 to cool it since it
was damaged by a tsunami in 2011, is then filtered to remove
radioactive materials. The complex filtering system can eliminate
everything but tritium.
This
has left the Japanese government with a problem. They can’t go on
filling up tanks forever. Something has to be done with the
radioactive water. A government panel is currently coming to a
decision on the issue, and simply dumping the water into the sea is
an option on the table.
TEPCO
chairman Kawamura is just waiting on the green light. “We
cannot keep going if we do not have the support of the
state,” he told the
media.
Kawamura
certainly has the support of NRA chairman Shunichi Tanaka, who’s
been urging the TEPCO boss to make the move. Tanaka has been critical
of Kawamura in the past, saying he should be more proactive in his
handling of the Fukushima nuclear crisis.
“An
operator lacking the will to take the initiative does not have the
right to resume operation of nuclear reactors,” he said recently
at a special meeting with TEPCO’s top management.
According
to the Japan
Times,
Kawamura “feels
emboldened to have the support of the NRA chairman.”
Tritium
itself is said to
be relatively harmless, and discharge of tritium-tainted water into
the ocean is standard operating procedure at nuclear power plants.
Oceanographer Simon Boxall spoke to The
Guardian on
the tritium issue last year, saying:
“In
the broad scale of things, if they do end up putting the material in
the Pacific, it will have minimal effect on an ocean basin scale.”
But
local fishermen say the actual harmfulness of tritium isn’t the
issue. What’s paramount is the perception people will have when
they hear of hundreds of thousands of tons of radioactive water being
released into the ocean. In short, such a move would make customers
question the safety of their catches, which would thereby affect
their livelihoods.
“Releasing
(tritium) into the sea will create a new wave of unfounded rumors,
making our efforts all for naught,” Kanji
Tachiya, who heads a fishermen cooperative, toldthe
Japan Times.
And
Aileen Mioko-Smith of Green Action Japan says there is even more to
consider here. “They
say that it will be safe because the ocean is large so it will be
diluted,” she toldThe
Telegraph, “but
that sets a precedent that can be copied, essentially permitting
anyone to dump nuclear waste into our seas.”
Furthermore,
says Mioko-Smith, those in charge of managing the Fukushima nuclear
crisis have had plenty of time to come up with solutions and that the
“out of sight, out of mind” approach is unacceptable:
“This
accident happened more than six years ago and the authorities should
have been able to devise a way to remove the tritium instead of
simply announcing that they are going to dump it into the ocean.”
Gisteren berichtte the Canary dat een deel van Londen kans loopt om te worden omgewoeld voor schaliegas winning. Ondanks dat schaliegas gepaard gaat met meerdere boorpunten op een kleine plek, er een enorme hoeveelheid water chemisch wordt verontreinigd bij het fracken, grondwater bewezen wordt verontreinigd, er grote hoeveelheden methaangas (een sterk broeikasgas) vrijkomen en het als in Groningen aardbevingen veroorzaakt, had de regering Cameron en daarmee de huidige regering May geen bezwaar tegen deze vorm van gas- en oliewinning……
Telkens weer wordt gesteld (ook in Nederland) dat schaliegaswinning lucratief is, echter dat is een grove leugen. Als alle kosten meegerekend zouden worden, valt de winst behoorlijk tegen, sterker nog alle kosten in rekening genomen, ‘levert’ het juist een groot verlies op…. Zo zijn er de kosten voor het schoonmaken van het bij Fracken gebruikte water (in de VS mag dit gewoon geloosd worden in de oceaan), het herstellen van de plekken waar geboord is en het verstevigen van de huizen tegen aardbevingen, zoals in Londen zou moeten gebeuren………
Bovendien wordt er nooit rekening gehouden met de enorme kosten die de klimaatverandering, mede aangejaagd door gaswinning (zoals gezegd het lekken van methaangas) en het gebruik van fossiele brandstoffen, met zich mee zal brengen…….. Daarnaast geeft de VS kapitalen aan subsidie voor schaliegas en schalie-oliewinning, iets dat in GB waarschijnlijk ook gebeurt……

be coming to London. And it’s a move that has already sparked

seems, on the face of it, like an absolute catastrophe.
You
fracking what?
An
energy company has claimed it’s
found natural gas deposits worth millions of pounds beneath an
industrial estate in North West London. And the company, London Local
Energy (LLE),
is looking to extract the fuel by fracking the area.
LLE
has developed its theory that an area below Artesian Close
Industrial Estate in Willesden could hold gas deposits after
researching the discovery of oil at Stonebridge Park in 1912. And LLE
now wants an exploration licence from the the Oil and Gas
Authority (OGA) to drill underground. But currently the OGA is not
accepting any new bids for exploration licences.
Frack
London
This
hasn’t stopped LLE theorising over the possibilities of fracking
London. Chief Executive Nick Grealy said:
We
want to speak to everyone about this, including businesses and
residents. If everyone said ‘no, this is not a good idea’ then at
least we have tried. But we need to have this conversation. Fracking
is not a dirty word. Why does fracking have such a stigma when
90 per cent of people don’t know what it is? The shale revolution
in the US is barely 10 years old but now over 70 per cent of US gas
comes from shale.
Very
fracking concerned
But
locals disagree. Business owner Mordechai Chachamu said “I
do not see any prospect of this happening. Once people in the
neighbourhood hear about it they will be in revolt”. And Brent
Labour councillor Zaffar
Van Kalwala said he
was “very concerned” about the prospect of fracking in Willesden:
…which
is one of the most densely populated areas in London. Residents are
already having to deal with high levels of air pollution. We should
instead be focusing on building for the future and leading the way on
renewable energy by providing jobs and opportunities, especially for
young people in a cleaner and greener London.

The
idea of fracking taking place in London may be worrying to many
people. And campaigners would say that the public should have every
right to be concerned. Because fracking has been linked to:
Contamination
of groundwater.
Methane
pollution and its impact on climate change.
Air
pollution impacts.
Exposure
to toxic chemicals.
Blowouts
due to gas explosion.
Large
volume water use in water-deficient regions.
Gives
countries energy independence, making them less reliant on imports.
Increases
employment, and can also decrease air pollution.
No
fracking way
As The
Canary has
been documenting,
attempts at fracking in Lancashire have prompted a backlash from
locals and campaigners alike. This includes accusations of
the police and private security firms using “brutal” and
“violent” force to try and stop protests. If this can happen in a
small, Lancashire village, then any fracking that is attempted in
London will likely be met with a considerably larger opposition.
Because, amongst other concerns, the potential risks surrounding
water contamination and earthquakes could be huge.
But
with the OGA not permitting exploration licences at present,
currently LLE’s idea is going to stay just that. And the gas will
continue to remain in the ground. For now
Nadat de Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL) in gebruik is genomen, daar het beest Trump de eerdere ban op dit project te niet heeft gedaan en daarmee in feite de aanleg gelastte, zette de federale rechter James Boasberg een streep door dit schandalige project. Althans dat zou je op het eerste gezicht zeggen, gezien de berichtgeving.
Echter dat is bepaald niet waar, de rechter heeft een nieuw onderzoek gelast naar de effecten van de aanleg voor de natuur en voor de heilige gronden en wateren van één van de oorspronkelijke volkeren van Noord-Amerika. Aan dat volk, de Sioux, werd in het verleden beloofd, dat de VS overheid of bedrijven af zouden blijven, van het aan hen toegewezen gebied. Een overeenkomst die werd gesloten, nadat de VS overheid, middels een enorme genocide (de grootste uit de bekende geschiedenis), het grootste deel van de Noord-Amerikaanse volkeren had laten vermoorden………..
Intussen wordt er al olie door deze pijpleiding gepompt en is er middels het eerste lek al een enorme hoeveelheid olie weggelopen……* Ondanks dat en het enorme aantal lekken bij zelfde pijpleidingen elders in de VS**, heeft rechter Boasberg niet een onmiddellijke stop gelast op verder transport van olie door de DAPL………
Ondanks voornoemde bezwaren is het bemoedigend, dat een rechter echt kritische vragen stelt bij deze pijpleiding, waartegen ook Obama in eerste instantie geen bezwaar had (pas eind vorig jaar zette hij een streep door de plannen voor het project…….)….

Federal
Judge Orders Review of Dakota Access Pipeline Permits
(COMMONDREAMS) — Water
protectors celebrated a “very
significant victory”
on Wednesday as a federal judge deemed safety evaluations of the
Dakota Access Pipeline insufficient and ordered the Army Corps
of Engineers to “reconsider” its analysis of the risks the crude
oil pipeline poses to the environment and the public.
In
a 91-page ruling (pdf),
U.S. District Judge James Boasberg declared that the Corps “did
not adequately consider the impacts of an oil spill on fishing
rights, hunting rights, or environmental justice, or the degree to
which the pipeline’s effects are likely to be highly
controversial.”
While
acknowleging the ruling—which resulted from a lawsuit filed by the
Standing Rock Sioux Tribe—as a partial victory because the judge
did not order the oil flow stopped, Native American tribes and
activists across the country deemed it a substantial win nonetheless.
“The
previous administration painstakingly considered the impacts of this
pipeline, and President Trump hastily dismissed these careful
environmental considerations in favor of political and personal
interests,” said Standing
Rock Sioux Chairman Dave Archambault II in a statement. “We
applaud the courts for protecting our laws and regulations from undue
political influence and will ask the court to shut down pipeline
operations immediately.”
Jan
Hasselman, an attorney for Earthjustice, said the
ruling should not be downplayed as merely exposing “minor,
paperwork transgressions.”
“This
decision marks an important turning point,” Hasselman said. “Until
now, the rights of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe have been
disregarded by the builders of the Dakota Access Pipeline and the
Trump administration—prompting a well-deserved global outcry. The
federal courts have stepped in where our political systems have
failed to protect the rights of Native communities.”
Shortly
after entering office, President Donald Trump made clear he would do
everything he could to ensure
the $3.8 billion project moves forward.
As environmental groups feared, the pipeline almost immediately began
to spring
leaks.
The
judge’s ruling on Wednesday represents the “first
legal victory”
for those looking to cease the oil flow before more damage is done.
“We’ve
been saying the Environmental Analysis was not in line with the law,
and that based on treaty rights, this project should never have been
built,” Joye Braun, Cheyenne River Lakota community organizer with
the Indigenous Environmental Network, said in
a statement. “While we wish the flow of oil would be stopped until
the hearings are completed, we trust that through prayer and
continued vigilance we will stop the flow of oil and make Energy
Transfer Partners and this administration keep fossil fuels in the
ground.”
De Intag regio, een gebied in het Ecuadoraanse deel van het Andesgebergte, wordt langzaam maar zeker naar god geholpen voor mijnbouw. Deze regio zijn bekend vanwege de grote biodiversiteit en de ligging van één van de laatste resten aan nevelwouden die de wereld nog rijk is. Bij de mijnbouw komen stoffen als lood, arsenicum, cadmium en chroom in waterbronnen terecht…… De vrees is dan ook dat de voor dit gebied unieke diersoorten zullen uitsterven…….
Voorts zorgt grootschalige ontbossing t.b.v. mijnbouw voor verdroging en daarna voor verwoestijning van het gebied……….
Dit alles zeer tegen de zin van de bevolking, die op alle mogelijke vreedzame manieren proberen deze waanzin tegen te houden en dat doen ze bepaald niet alleen, omdat ze zogenaamd legaal van hun grond worden gesodemieterd…….
De lokale bevolking is al een aantal jaren bezig een alternatieve economie te ontwikkelen, waarin er geen plek is voor mijnbouw, zo is men al jaren bezig met de ontwikkeling van ‘ecotoerisme’ en van winstgevende teelten (zonder gebruik van gif en met eerbiediging van de natuur).
Onder andere met leningen van de Wereldbank voor mijnbouw wordt dit uiterst belangrijk gebied vernield. Lekkere organisatie hè die Wereldbank?? Godverdomme!!
Eén van de bedrijven die werkzaam waren in Ecuador was het Canadese Ascendant, van wie de vergunning inmiddels is ingetrokken, nu zijn daar het Ecuadoraanse staatsbedrijf ENAMI en het Chileense Codelco bezig de boel te verkankeren………

Je zou verdomd gaan denken, dat PvdA hufter van Dam z’n schaapjes al op het droge heeft, dit t.b.v. de tijd als hij straks de politiek heeft verlaten…….. Een dikke bestuursfunctie voor zijn schunnige volharding in de dwang dat ook ‘ biologische boeren’ 6.000 koeien moeten laten slachten…..
Door eerder enorm wanbeleid van zijn partijcollega Dijksma, die deels verantwoordelijk was voor het opheffen van de melkquota en daarna volledig verantwoordelijk was voor het niet ingrijpen in aanloop van de afschaffing van deze quota.
Boeren namen de boete voor de teveel geproduceerde melk lief en schaften zich in aanloop van de melkquota afschaffing, een enorm aantal koeien aan…. Dit terwijl Nederland al een gigantisch mestoverschot had. Boeren hadden teveel koeien, om de mest verantwoord uit te rijden op hun land, dus te veel koeien in verhouding tot de grootte van hun weidegrond.
Na afschaffing van de quota kelderde de melkprijs en zaten de boeren, die al jaren hadden geschreeuwd tegen de melkquota, met de gebakken ‘zuivelperen’. Zoals gezegd, kwam daar nog eens een vergroting bij van het mestoverschot, waarna Nederland nu door de EU wordt gedwongen een groot aantal koeien af te stoten >> het aantal koeien dat teveel op bedrijven staat qua weidegrootte…….
Van Dam maakte toen een wel erg vreemde beweging, hij stelde dat ook de ‘biologische boeren’ koeien moesten afstoten. Uitermate vreemd, daar die ‘biologische boeren’ (domme aanduiding overigens) nu juist wel voldoende weidegrond hadden voor hun mest………
Protest van deze boeren mocht niet baten, ook zij moeten 6.000 koeien (10% van het totale aantal koeien dat ‘moet verdwijnen’) kwijt zien te raken in het buitenland en anders de dieren laten slachten…….. Het is zelfs zo zot, dat een rechter een streep door het voornemen van van Dam zette, daar heeft deze hufterregent schijt aan, hij gaat in hoger beroep……..
Met zijn inzet wil van Dam de reguliere boeren een cadeau geven, daar de EU het aantal koeien op 60.000 bepaalde dat moet verdwijnen uit Nederland (en dat aantal niet specificeerde)…….. Met andere woorden: er zullen straks nog steeds teveel koeien op de reguliere melkveehouderijen staan!!! Werkelijk ongelofelijk!!
Eén ding heeft van Dam ten overvloede nog eens bewezen: de PvdA is een niets ontziende regentenpartij die godbetert neoliberaal beleid uitvoert. Laten we hopen dat er na de volgende verkiezingen niets meer overblijft van deze partij bomvol met oplichters en machtswellustelingen!!

Een staaltje hypocrisie waar je steil van achterover slaat: het pleidooi van oud-CDA-minister van BuZA, Ben Bot tegen het zich uit het klimaatakkoord terugtrekken van de VS, door het beest Trump….
Veel ‘mooie praatjes’ afgelopen vrijdag op Radio1 rond 15.40 u. van opperhufter Bot. Bot is vertegenwoordiger van een partij, die in feite nog minder wil den dan in het klimaatakkoord is afgesproken. De EU fractie van het CDA, de EVP heeft weten te voorkomen, dat de intensieve veehouderij* in het klimaatakkoord terecht kwam, evenals de bescherming van onze oceanen (het tegengaan van verzuring en verdere opwarming van de oceanen), de oceanen: één van de grootste bronnen van zuurstof op aarde……
Vervolgens stelde Bot, dat China de VS ‘van de troon wil stoten’ (ha! ha! ha!), vandaar de pro-klimaatakkoord geluiden uit China, waar men zelfs al voorloopt wat betreft het nemen van maatregelen n.a.v. dit waardeloze akkoord…. Een akkoord waarin niet wordt gesproken over de beprijzing van CO2, noch over het beschermen van de oceanen…….. Op zeker dat het CDA tegen beschermingsmaatregelen is voor de oceanen en gegarandeerd dat hetzelfde CDA achter de beslissing stond, de CO2 beprijzing uit het akkoord te houden, een beprijzing die nu werkelijk een lachertje is, beter gezegd zelfs een oplichterstruc…….
Het CDA is mede verantwoordelijk voor het feit, dat de CO2 uitstoot in Nederland de laatste jaren verder is toegenomen, i.p.v. afgenomen…… Logisch, ‘we zijn, wat betreft de luchtvervuiling, nu eenmaal graag het slechtste jongetje van de EU klas…….’ Schijt aan de rond de 18.000 vroegtijdige overlijdens, die hier jaarlijks te betreuren zijn t.g.v. van jarenlange inademing van auto-uitstoot (vroegtijdige overlijdens na een akelig ziekbed…)… Door diezelfde uitstoot loopt ook nog eens een groot aantal kinderen long- en luchtwegklachten op……..
Bot is even vergeten, dat China een groot deel van het jaar opgescheept zit met de gevolgen van de vuile lucht, woestijnvorming (met grote gevolgen voor de gezondheid van aan paar honderd miljoen Chinese burgers), waarbij het land ook nog regelmatig wordt geplaagd, door steeds heftiger wordende tyfoons (en alle gevolgen van deze stormen, zoals overstromingen…)…. Dat en niets anders is de reden, dat men in China meer doet dan vele andere landen op onze kleine aarde!!
Als Bot zo begaan is met de vervuiling van het milieu, de klimaatverandering en het welzijn van dieren, waarom is hij dan nog lid van het uiterst rechtse, totaal onverantwoordelijke en inhumane CDA??!!!
* In Nederland worden jaarlijks 500 miljoen dieren (een half miljard!!) groot- en doodgemarteld, daarbij komt een enorme hoeveelheid methaangas vrij, één van de sterkste broeikasgassen op onze aarde, waarmee de klimaatverandering verder wordt aangejaagd…….

PS, naast het onderwerp klimaatakkoord, doet Bot zich ook nog eens voor als een bedachtzaam staatsman en dat voor een partij, die achter de fascistische maatregelen tegen vluchtelingen staat, die de Hongaarse zusterpartij van het CDA, de Fidesz o.l.v. de corrupte fascist Orbán heeft genomen……… Bot moet zich doodschamen dat hij nog lid is van het meer dan smerige CDA!!
Het kan u niet ontgaan zijn, het feit dat Trump de daad bij z’n leugenachtige woorden heeft gevoegd en het besluit bekend maakte, dat de VS zich terugtrekt uit het klimaatakkoord van Parijs. Volkomen hysterisch reageren de media en politici op deze foute stap van Trump.
Het klimaatakkoord van Parijs staat voor te weinig en kwam derhalve veel te laat. Men kon NB niet eens de beprijzing van CO2 uitstoot ter sprake brengen op de klimaattop die tot dit akkoord leidde…….
Ook de intensieve veeteelt kwam niet ter sprake, terwijl die zorgt voor: -een enorme uitstoot van het sterke broeikasgas methaan, -de sloop van oerwouden (t.b.v. onder andere sojateelt voor diervoer >> 80% van de wereldsojaproductie gaat naar de intensieve veeteelt…), -een enorme luchtvervuiling en uitstoot van CO2, door het vervoer van diervoer, dieren, kadavers en ‘eindproducten……..’
Maatregelen om de oceanen te beschermen, onze grootste bron van zuurstofproductie, kwamen al evenmin ter sprake en zoals de koraalriffen van Australië laten zien, de verzuring en opwarming van de oceanen gaan in steeds rapper tempo……..
Men sprak af, dat de temperatuur aan het eind van deze eeuw niet verder mag stijgen dan 2 graden Celsius. Wetenschappelijk onderzoek heeft aangetoond, dat zelfs met een directe doorvoering van alle maatregelen uit het klimaatakkoord, de stijging van 2 graden C. fiks zal worden overtroffen, men spreekt nu al voorzichtig van een stijging die de 8 graden C. zal benaderen of zelfs zal overschrijden…….
Kortom een berg hysterie over een akkoord dat volkomen tekort schiet, het uitstappen van de VS stelt dan ook weinig of niets voor……
Ik kan deze hysterie dan ook niet anders zien, dan een enorme volksverlakkerij: men probeert net als na het sluiten van het akkoord de wereldburgers duidelijk te maken, dat men de klimaatopwarming in de hand heeft en men rustig kan gaan slapen…….
Oh ja, PvdA trol Dijksma kwam met het totaal versleten cliché op de proppen, dat de uitstap van de VS uit het akkoord “Een historische vergissing is….” ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Dat zegt het enorme leeghoofd, terwijl ze de afgelopen 4,5 jaar niets anders gedaan heeft, dan de klimaatverandering verder aanjagen, zowel middels het steunen van de intensieve martelveehouderij, als de subsidie van meer dan 3 miljard voor nieuwe kolencentrales, om daar bossen uit de VS in te verstoken…… Ook de stijging van de maximumsnelheid was geen probleem voor hufter Dijksma en haar oplichterspartij PvdA!!
Zelfs de grijnzende VVD hufter Rutte stelde teleurgesteld te zijn over de beslissing van Trump…… Zonder de VS wordt het moeilijker de doelstellingen van Parijs te halen, aldus de oplichter…. Zoals u heeft kunnen lezen, ook met de VS waren de doelstellingen van het klimaatakkoord onhaalbaar!! Onder Rutte is er niets gedaan om de klimaatverandering af te remmen, integendeel, zoals u hierboven kon lezen! Daarnaast heeft Nederland zo ongeveer de slechtste luchtkwaliteit in de EU…… Maar Rutte is ‘teleurgesteld…..’ ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Vuile hypocriet!
Anti-Media bracht afgelopen zaterdag het bericht, dat gelekte documenten het bewijs hebben geleverd, voor het labelen van demonstranten als terrorist door de overheid in de VS…….
Dat de VS een politiestaat is, zal voor velen geen geheim meer zijn en keer op keer komen daarvoor de bewijzen op tafel, zoals afgelopen zaterdag……
Bij de protesten tegen de Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL), die ongeveer een jaar duurden, gebruikte de overheid zwaar geweld tegen de demonstranten en werden de vreedzame demonstranten door de verschillende overheidsdiensten aangemerkt als terroristen, letterlijk: ‘jihadist fighters’ (dit geweld in samenwerking met de oliemaatschappij die de pijpleiding ‘nodig had’ en het bedrijf dat deze aanlegde)………
Overigens zijn de eerste lekken al geconstateerd in de intussen werkende pijpleiding, precies daarvoor waarschuwden de demonstranten, bestaande uit de oorspronkelijke bewoners van de VS en medestanders…………
Eerder pasten een paar staten van de VS regelgeving aan, waarbij werd gesteld dat automobilisten die demonstranten aanrijden (demonstranten die zich op autowegen ophouden), niet vervolgd zullen worden……..

docs reveal the collusion between local police forces, pipeline
company, and defense contractors as they executed ‘military-style
counterterrorism measures’ to suppress DAPL protesters.
COMMONDREAMS) The
years-long, Indigenous-led fight against the Dakota
Access Pipeline (DAPL)
briefly captured the nation’s attention last fall as images of
peaceful protesters being sprayed with water canons and
surrounded by police in tanks and other military-grade equipment were
spread widely, fueling global outrage and a fierce protest movement
against the oil pipeline.
Now
that the pipeline is operational and already
leaking,
internal documents obtained by The
Intercept and reported on
Saturday reveal the deep collusion between local police forces, the
pipeline company, and defense contractors as they executed
“military-style counterterrorism measures” to suppress the water
protectors.
TigerSwan,
described as a “shadowy international mercenary and security firm”
that “originated as a U.S. military and State Department contractor
helping to execute the global war on terror,” was hired by Energy
Transfer Partners to spearhead “a multifaceted private security
operation characterized by sweeping and invasive surveillance of
protesters,” The
Intercept wrote.
Reportedly,
one of TigerSwan’s contractors leaked 100 internal documents to
reporters Alleen Brown, Will Parrish, and Alice Speri, who were able
to assemble roughly 1,000 more via public records requests.
The
trove paints a damning picture of the police response to the
Indigenous-led effort to block construction of the pipeline on
sacred, treaty land and is a shocking example of how anti-terrorist
rhetoric and tactics could be applied to any uprising the government
would like to suppress.
According
to the reporting:
“Internal
TigerSwan communications describe the movement as ‘an ideologically
driven insurgency with a strong religious component’ and compare
the anti-pipeline water protectors to jihadist fighters. One report,
dated February 27, 2017, states that since the movement ‘generally
followed the jihadist insurgency model while active, we can expect
the individuals who fought for and supported it to follow a
post-insurgency model after its collapse.’ Drawing comparisons with
post-Soviet Afghanistan, the report warns, ‘While we can expect to
see the continued spread of the anti-DAPL diaspora…aggressive
intelligence preparation of the battlefield and active coordination
between intelligence and security elements are now a proven method of
defeating pipeline insurgencies.’”
“As
policing continues to be militarized and state legislatures around
the country pass laws criminalizing protest,” Brown, Parrish, and
Speri write, “the fact that a private security firm retained by a
Fortune 500 oil and gas company coordinated its efforts with local,
state, and federal law enforcement to undermine the protest movement
has profoundly anti-democratic implications.”
Indeed,
in the wake of the 2016 election, Republican
legislatures in
at least 19 states introduced
various anti-protest
laws, many with a deliberate nod to the uprising in North Dakota.
Not
only that, but Morton County Sheriff Kyle Kirchmeier, who oversaw the
police response to the DAPL resistance, has been advising other
law enforcement on how to deal with protests and demonstrations.
Indeed,
the documents reportedly show that Energy Transfer Partners has
“continued to retain TigerSwan,” despite the fact that the
anti-DAPL camps have disbanded. The security firm continues to
produce so-called situation
reports that
document “the threat of growing activism around other pipeline
projects across the country.” These reports include “intelligence
on upcoming protests,” information gleaned from social media, and
“extensive evidence of aerial surveillance and radio eavesdropping,
as well as infiltration of camps and activist circles.”
In
some cases, persons “of interest” were even tracked when they
crossed over state lines.
What’s
more, the documents obtained via open records requests include
“communications among agents from the FBI, the Department of
Homeland Security (DHS), the U.S. Justice Department, the Marshals Service,
and the Bureau of Indian Affairs, as well as state and local police,”
that reveals interagency collusion and information sharing on the
anti-DAPL protesters.

Afgelopen donderdag ontving ik van Information Clearing House o.a. een artikel geschreven door Spencer Cathcart. Het is een transcript van de video die Cathcart maakte over hoe wij de machthebbers in deze wereld dienen. We denken vrij te zijn en als individu uniek te zijn, echter in het groot zijn we de brandstof die de grote bedrijven nodig hebben om het systeem dat hen de macht bezorgt, in stand te houden.

We mogen studeren om ons werk te kunnen doen, maar we worden niet onderwezen om ons af te vragen waarom we dat doen en wat daar de uiteindelijke prijs van is (om de macht van weinigen te kunnen bestendigen, vernietigen we onze aarde en alles wat daarop leeft…)…..
We werken om ons leven te kunnen leiden, maar hebben niet de tijd om dit leven te leiden……
De machthebbers hebben ons geld gegeven, waardeloze stukjes papier, als tegenprestatie hebben wij de machthebbers onze aarde gegeven. Zij bepalen waarvoor de aarde gebruikt wordt en als gewillige schapen helpen we de aarde vervuilen en vergiftigen (en daarmee onszelf) en breken haar af, dezelfde aarde die in feite ons huis is…….
In handen van de machthebbers zijn wij de brandstof die het smerige neoliberale systeem op poten en draaiend moeten houden, niet de grond en de middelen zijn de bron van de macht die een in feite kleine elite bezit, nee wij zijn die bron……
Zoals op deze plak al vaker gesteld, de mensheid is een plaag die de aarde teistert, een plaag die zoals gezegd de aarde uitput en vergiftigt….. Door de manier waarop we grootgebracht zijn en zijn onderwezen, beseffen we niet, dat we uiteindelijk alle leven op aarde, dus ook dat van onszelf, onmogelijk maken……
Mensen een geweldige en duidelijke analyse, lees het en zegt het voort! De hoogste tijd dat we ons organiseren en de kleine elite en hun hielenlikkers in de politiek te verstaan geven dat de tijd voor verandering is aangebroken! De hoogste tijd dat we een eind aan de eindeloze oorlogen afdwingen….. Het is de hoogste tijd dat we een eind maken aan de honger in de wereld: het grootste deel van ons voedsel gaat naar de dieren die we dag in dag uit groot en doodmartelen, dit om een ongelofelijk domme manier van voedselproductie in stand te kunnen houden: de intensieve veehouderij……..
Rond de miljard mensen lijdt honger op onze kleine aarde, terwijl we voedsel genoeg verbouwen om de hele wereld te kunnen voeden, echter dat is niet in het belang van de elite die werkelijk aan de touwen trekt…….. De hoogste tijd dat we een eind maken aan het vergiftigen en vernietigen van onze wereld….. Lamme klimaatakkoorden halen niets uit, het is tijd voor een radicale aanpak waarmee we de klimaatverandering nog enigszins in bedwang kunnen houden…….
Tot slot: de hoogste tijd dat we geluk en niet al maar meer materiële zaken nastreven (waar we uiteindelijk toch niet gelukkig van worden), of zoals Cathcart het verwoord: we hebben ons de kunst van het moorden eigen gemaakt, laten we ons nu de kunst in het plezier van leven eigen maken! Het leven is geen film, waarvan het script al is geschreven, wijzelf zijn de schrijvers (als we dat willen)!

– At this moment you could be anywhere, doing anything. Instead
you sit alone before a screen. So what’s stopping us from
doing what we want? Being where we want to be?
Each
day we wake up in the same room and follow the same path, to live the
same day as yesterday. Yet at one time each day was a new
adventure. Along the way something changed. Before our days were
timeless, now our days are scheduled.
Is
this what it means to be grown up? To be free? But are we really
free?
Food,
water, land.
The
very elements we need to survive are owned by corporations. There’s
no food for us on trees, no freshwater in streams, no land to build a
home. If you try and take what the Earth provides you’ll be
locked away. So we obey their rules.
We
discover the world through a textbook. For years we sit and
regurgitate what we’re told. Tested and graded like subjects
in a lab. Raised not to make a difference in this world, raised
to be no different. Smart enough to do our job but not to
question why we do it. So we work and work, left with no time to
live the life we work for. Until a day comes when we are too old
to do our job. It is here we are left to die. Our children take our
place in the game.
To
us our path is unique, but together we are nothing more than fuel.
The fuel that powers the elite. The elite who hide behind the
logos of corporations. This is their world. And their most
valuable resource is not in the ground. It is us.
We
build their cities, we run their machines, we fight their wars. After
all, money isn’t what drives them. It’s power. Money is
simply the tool they use to control us. Worthless pieces of
paper we depend on to feed us, move us, entertain us.
They gave us money and in return we gave them the world.Where
there were trees that cleaned our air are now factories that poison
it. Where there was water to drink, is toxic waste that
stinks. Where animals ran free, are factory farms where they are
born and slaughtered endlessly for our satisfaction. Over a
billion people are starving, despite us having enough food for
everybody. Where does it all go? 70% of the grain we grow is fed
to fatten the animals you eat for dinner. Why help the starving? You
can’t profit off them.
We
are like a plague sweeping the earth, tearing apart the very
environment that allows us to live. We see everything as
something to be sold, as an object to be owned. But what happens
when we have polluted the last river? Poisoned the last breath of
air? Have no oil for the trucks that bring us our food? When
will we realize money can’t be eaten, that it has no value?
We
aren’t destroying the planet. We are destroying all life on
it. Every year thousands of species go extinct. And time is
running out before we’re next. If you live in America there’s
a 41% chance you’ll get cancer. Heart disease will kill one
out of three Americans. We take prescription drugs to deal
with these problems, but medical care is the third leading cause of
death behind cancer and heart disease. We’re told everything
can be solved by throwing money at scientists so they can discover a
pill to make our problems go away. But the drug companies and
cancer societies rely on our suffering to make a profit. We
think we’re running for a cure, but really we’re running away
from the cause. Our body is a product of what we consume and the food we eat is designed purely for profit. We fill ourselves with toxic chemicals. The bodies of animals infested with drugs and diseases.But we don’t see this. The
small group of corporations that own the media don’t want us to.
Surrounding us with a fantasy we’re told is reality.
It’s
funny to think humans once thought the earth was the center of the
universe. But then again, now we see ourselves as the center of
the planet. We point to our technology and say we’re the
smartest. But do computers, cars, and factories really illustrate how
intelligent we are? Or do they show how lazy we’ve become. We
put this “civilized” mask on. But when you strip that away what
are we?
How quickly we forget only within past hundred years did we allow women to vote; allow blacks to live as equals. We act as if we
are all-knowing beings, yet there is much we fail to see. We
walk down the street ignoring all the little things. The eyes who
stare. The stories they share. Seeing everything as a background
to ‘me’.
Perhaps
we fear we’re not alone. That we are a part of a much bigger
picture. But we fail to make the connection. We’re okay
killing pigs, cows, chickens, strangers from foreign lands. But not
our neighbours, not our dogs, our cats, those we have come to love
and understand. We call other creatures stupid yet we point to
them to justify our actions. But does killing simply because we
can, because we always have, make it right? Or does it show how
little we’ve learned. That we continue to act out of primal
aggression rather than thought and compassion.
One
day, this sensation we call life will leave us. Our bodies will rot,
our valuables recollected. Yesterday’s actions all that
remain. Death constantly surrounds us, still it seems so distant
from our everyday reality. We live in a world on the verge of
collapse. The wars of tomorrow will have no winners. For
violence will never be the answer; it will destroy every possible
solution.
If
we all look at our innermost desire, we will see our dreams are not
so different. We share a common goal. Happiness. We tear
the world apart looking for joy, without ever looking within
ourselves. Many of the happiest people are those who own the
least. But are we really so happy with our iPhones, our big
houses, our fancy cars?
We’ve
become disconnected. Idolizing people we’ve never met. We
witness the extraordinary on screens but ordinary everywhere else. We
wait for someone to bring change without ever thinking of changing
ourselves.
Presidential
elections might as well be a coin toss. It’s two sides of the same
coin. We choose which face we want and the illusion of choice, of
change is created. But the world remains the same. We fail
to realize the politicians don’t serve us; they serve those who
fund them into power.
We
need leaders, not politicians. But in this world of followers,
we have forgotten to lead ourselves. Stop waiting for change and
be the change you want to see. We didn’t get to this point by
sitting on our asses. The human race survived not because we are
fastest or the strongest, but because we worked together.
We
have mastered the act of killing. Now let’s master the joy of
living.
This
isn’t about saving the planet. The planet will be here whether we
are or not. Earth has been around for billions of years, each of
us will be lucky to last eighty. We are a flash in time, but our
impact is forever.
I
often wished I lived in an age before computers, when we didn’t
have screens to distract us.
But
I realize there’s one reason why this is the only time I want to be
alive. Because here today, we have an opportunity we never had
before. The internet gives us the power to share a message and
unite millions around the world. While we still can we must use
our screens to bring us closer together, rather than farther apart.
For
better or worse, our generation will determine the future of life on
this planet. We can either continue to serve this system of
destruction until no memory of our existence remains. Or we can
wake up. Realize we aren’t evolving upwards, but rather falling
down…we just have screens in our faces so we don’t see where
we’re heading.
This
present moment is what every step, every breath and every death has
led to. We are the faces of all who came before us. And now it is our
turn. You can choose to carve your own path or follow the road
countless others have already taken.
Life
is not a movie. The script isn’t already written. We are the
writers.
