Coronavirus ‘afleiding’: de VS dreigt Iran, Rusland en China, terwijl deze terreurstaat het zo door het virus getroffen Somalië bombardeert…..

De VS
houdt tijdens de Coronacrisis o.a. de enorme wapenindustrie ‘op de
been’ met miljarden aan subsidies, niet alleen dat: de VS is bezig de
spanningen met Iran, China en Rusland te intensiveren…… Onbegrijpelijk die subsidies, immers de wapenindustrie is schathemelrijk, alsof het Cornonavirus deze doodsindustrie kan nekken……….

Vannacht maakte ARD in het nieuws van 1.00 u. bekend dat het SIPRI* heeft berkend dat de wereld vorig jaar maar liefst 1.917 miljard dollar uitgaf een wapens (in de breedste zin van het woord en het hoogste bedrag ooit), waarvan de VS 38% voor haar rekening zou hebben genomen (heb de idee dat dit een hoger percentage moet zijn)……. Met een paar procent van dat bedrag zouden we kunnen voorkomen dat mensen aan honger en te voorkomen ziekten overlijden……

Afgelopen
woensdag liet Trump weten dat de VS elk Iraans marineschip zal aanvallen
dat de VS marine dwarszit in de wateren voor de kust van Iran, dus op
duizenden kilometers verwijdert van het vaste land van de
VS………

Ook Venezuela staat nog steeds in het vizier van terreurstaat VS dat marineschepen heeft buiten de terrirtoriale wateren van dat land….. Venezuele waar intussen meer dan 40.000 mensen zijn overleden tengevolge van de illegale sancties die de VS (met steun van Canada en de EU) dit land heeft opgelegd…… De VS heeft zelfs 4 miljard aan tegoeden van Venezuela gestolen, geld dat bedoeld was voor de aankoop van medicijnen en medische apparatuur…..

Tegelijk
is de VS marine weer aanwezig in de Zuid-Chinese Zee om daar China te
tergen, voorts heeft het Pentagon de vaste routes van de nucleair
bewapende B-52 bommenwerpers losgelaten, zodat Rusland en China dit doomsday
oorlogstuig moeilijker kunnen volgen, iets dat overigens al doet denken aan een oorlogsverklaring……

Het
meest walgelijke is wel de door de VS opgevoerde bombardementen op Somalië, een
land dat zwaar is getroffen door het Coronavirus…… Hoe
fascistisch en schandalig kan een land bezig zijn…?? Ach ja, geen
wonder als je bedenkt dat de VS feitelijk de grootste terreurentiteit
op onze kleine planeet is…..

Nog een land dat lijdt onder het buitenlandbeleid van de VS: Jemen waar de VS de genocide militair ondersteunt die de Saoedische terreurcoalitie uitvoert in dat land….. Jemen een land waarvan de bewoners sterk zijn verzwakt (door honger, cholera en difterie) en waar het Coronavirus nog heel veel slachtoffers zal maken……

De VS eist voorts van Mexico dat het haar fabrieken heropent die onderdelen maken voor de wapenindustrie in de VS….. (die fabrieken waren gesloten vanwege het Coronavirus) De zogenaamd linkse president van Mexico steunt de eis van de VS en heeft al gedreigd met inzet van de nationale garde tegen stakers die weigeren te werken……

Terwijl
de psychopathische massamoordenaar en vol-idioot Trump zich afvraagt
of men Coronapatienten niet zou moeten inspuiten met een
desinfecterend middel, is de VS het zwaarst getroffen door het virus,
intussen meer dan 50.000 doden….. De kritiek op het zwaar ondermaats reageren op het Coronanvirus door de Trump administratie, lijkt het signaal te zijn voor het Witte Huis, in te zetten op oorlogsvoering om zo het volk weer
achter de gek in dat huis te krijgen…..

Uiteraard
een uiterst gevaarlijke situatie en het is mij dan ook een raadsel
waarom de andere westerse regeringen de VS niet aan de paal nagelen
voor haar gevaarlijke spel en de grootschalige terreur die dit
gestolen land over delen van de wereld verspreidt……. Elk ander
land dat zich zou gedragen als de VS zou allang onderwerp van
internationale sancties zijn geweest…….

“Information

– “I have instructed the United States Navy to shoot down and
destroy any and all Iranian gunboats if they harass our ships at
sea,” US President Donald Trump tweeted Wednesday in a startling
threat that could trigger a catastrophic war throughout the Middle
East and beyond.

The threat to launch a
war 7,000 miles from US shores in the midst of coronavirus pandemic,
whose death toll in the US is rapidly approaching 50,000, comes on
the heels of Trump’s Monday night tweet announcing a suspension of
all immigration into the United States, a transparent attempt to
scapegoat immigrants for the ravages of the pandemic and the layoffs
of tens of millions of workers.

There is in both of
these actions an expression of desperation and a flailing about in
the face of a national and global crisis for which the US ruling
class has no viable solution. It is a crude attempt to change the
subject and divert public attention from the catastrophic
consequences of the criminal indifference of the government and the
ruling oligarchy it represents to the lives and well-being of the
vast majority of the population.

Pentagon officials
reported Wednesday that they had received no prior notification of
Trump’s tweet, much less any orders for a change in the rules of
engagement in the Persian Gulf.

Nonetheless, the
brutal and fascistic rhetoric of Trump reflects a drive to war by US
imperialism that has not been tempered, but rather intensified, by
the global pandemic.

Even as Trump issued
his tweet, US warships were sailing toward a confrontation with China
in the South China Sea. At the same time, the Pentagon was announcing
a shift in its deployment of long-range, nuclear capable B-52 bombers
to make their presence less predictable to Beijing and Moscow and
thereby ratchet up tensions.

In recent days, the US
has sharply escalated its air strikes against the impoverished
African nation of Somalia, even as the coronavirus pandemic threatens
to ravage its population.

Escalating war threats continue against
Venezuela, and the Pentagon continues to provide support for the
near-genocidal Saudi-led war against the people of Yemen.

Nowhere does this war
drive find more naked expression than in the massive government
bailout that is being organized for the US arms industry. With tens
of millions of workers unemployed, many facing hunger, and a drive by
both the Trump administration and state governors to force a
premature return to work, billions upon billions of dollars are being
lavished upon military contractors to sustain their guaranteed
profits and the obscene fortunes generated for their major
shareholders.

The Pentagon’s top
weapons procurer, Undersecretary of Defense Ellen Lord, told a press
conference Monday that some $3 billion has already been funneled to
the arms makers in the form of early payments for existing contracts,
in addition to billions more approved by Congress in the first CARES
Act, which pumped trillions of dollars into the financial markets. She indicated that much more will be doled out once Congress passes
another stimulus package.

Asked by a reporter
how much would be need to insure Washington’s Merchants of Death
from any losses due to the coronavirus pandemic, she replied, “We’re
talking billions and billions on that one.” Lord added that the
first priority for this aid program was the “modernization process
of the nuclear triad.”

These industries are
hardly the picture of the deserving poor. The fact that massive
financial resources that are desperately needed to save lives and
rescue millions of workers from poverty are instead being poured into
their pockets is a crime.

In a conference call
this week to inform Lockheed Martin shareholders of first-quarter
earnings, the company’s CEO, Marilyn Hewson, boasted that the
corporation’s “portfolio is broad and expanding” and its “cash
generation” strong. She said the company looked forward to
“supporting our warfighters’ needs.”

Indeed, Lockheed
Martin pulled in $2.3 billion in cash during the single quarter and
expects to top $7.6 billion—coronavirus effects
notwithstanding—over the year. It has a $144 billion backlog in
orders, an all-time high.

Asked whether she had
any qualms about political fallout over completing a $1 billion stock
buyback in the midst of the crisis, she replied, “We’re very
different, I think, than those who have experienced a very
significant impact to their demands.” Hewson announced that the
company had set aside a grand total of $10 million for
COVID-19-related relief and assistance.

The “very different”
character of these companies was also noted in a financial column
published in the New
York Times
for the benefit of its well-heeled readers, titled “Opportunity in
the Military-Industrial Complex.”

Pointing to the
projected $741 billion Pentagon budget for the coming year, the Times
counsels: “That combination of federal dollars and corporate heft
may represent an opportunity for investors who don’t mind profiting
from warfare. A modest bet on a mutual fund or exchange-traded fund
that buys military contractors and aerospace companies may help
buffer the deep recession brought on by the coronavirus.”

In short, one can reap
substantial wealth from—and amid—mass death.

One of the principal
concerns expressed by Undersecretary of Defense Lord as she spelled
out plans for the multibillion-dollar bailout of the arms industry
was the disruption of supply chains, particularly those originating
in the maquiladora
sweatshops just across the US border in Mexico. She also mentioned
problems in India.

Thousands of Mexican
workers have struck and protested against the deadly conditions
inside these plants, conditions that are being prepared for workers
throughout the planet as back-to-work orders are shoved through. At a
plant in Ciudad Juárez owned by Michigan-based Lear Corporation, 16
workers have died from COIVD-19, while area hospitals are overflowing
with victims of the virus.

The Pentagon and US
Ambassador to Mexico Christopher Landau have intervened with the
Mexican government, demanding that the maquiladora
workers be forced back into the plants as “essential” to US
imperialism’s war machine, just like their counterparts in the US.

Lockheed relies on low-paid Mexican workers in Chihuahua, Mexico to
produce electrical wiring for the US military’s Black Hawk and S-92
helicopters and F-16 fighter jets, while Boeing gets parts from a
plant run by PCC Aerostructures in Monterrey. General Electric,
Honeywell and other military contractors also profit off the labor of
Mexican workers across the border.

Transmitting the
dictates of the Pentagon in the language of contempt for human life
that characterizes all of the policies of the Trump administration
and the US ruling class, Ambassador Landau launched a Twitter
campaign demanding that Mexican workers go back into the maquiladoras
for the greater good of US imperialism. He enjoys the full
collaboration of Mexico’s President Andrés Manuel López Obrador,
promoted by the pseudo-left as a “progressive” and even
“socialist,” who has prepared the country’s National Guard for
deployment against strikers.

Warning that workers’
jobs are tied to supply chains linking them to US arms manufacturers,
Ambassador Landau said, “if we do not coordinate our response,
these chains can evaporate.”

He added, “There are
risks everywhere, but we don’t all stay at home for fear we are going
to get in a car accident. The destruction of the economy is also a
health threat.”

These are the same
reactionary, antiscientific and misanthropic arguments being made in
the US and internationally in an attempt to force workers back into
the factories and workplaces with the certainty that many will fall
sick and die.

Workers in the arms
industry in the US, like their counterparts in Mexico, have also
struck and protested over being forced to work as part of the
“critical infrastructure” of US imperialism. Workers at the Bath
Iron Works in Maine and the BAE Systems shipyard in Norfolk,
Virginia, both run by General Dynamics, have struck over the failure
of the employers to provide them with protection against infection
and death. Similarly, workers at the GE Aviation plant in Lynn,
Massachusetts, which produces engines for US Marine helicopters,
picketed the plant over the lack of protective measures or any
guarantee for workers who fall victim to COVID-19.

This resistance of the
working class across national boundaries is directly opposed to the
rabid nationalism and reaction that characterizes the response of the
ruling classes, not only in the US, but in Europe and
internationally, to the intensification of the capitalist crisis
triggered by the coronavirus pandemic. To defend their profit
interests, they will condemn millions to sickness and death, even as
they prepare for world war and fascist dictatorship.

The only
alternative is for the international working class to put an end to
the profit system and rebuild society on socialist foundations.

Tamara
Pearson doet vrijwilligerswerk voor een opvang van daklozen in Mexico stad, deze
opvang is gesloten vanwege het Coronavirus……. Aan de hand van
haar ervaringen heeft ze een artikel geschreven met de strekking dat
de maatregelen die de rijke landen hebben genomen tegen het virus,
desastreus zijn voor arme landen en ronduit een ramp voor arme en/of
dakloze mensen in die landen…… (aan het eind van mijn schrijven nog een opmerking over het voorgaande, die ook voor de rijke landen geldt)

Pearson
begint haar artikel met het voorbeeld van een 72 jarige dakloze man
die buiten de opvang zit waar zij werkt, maar waartoe ook hij geen
toegang meer heeft…… De man heeft diabetes en is door zijn
voorraad insuline heen en zal daardoor niet lang meer hebben te
leven……..

Terecht
merkt Pearson op dat de mensen die afhankelijk zijn van opvang voor
het overgrote deel bestaan uit vluchtelingen, die geweld zijn ontvlucht in
hun moederland, geweld dat voor het overgrote deel is ontstaan door
ingrijpen van de VS, dus staatsgrepen tegen democratisch gekozen
regeringen, die niet in het door de VS gewenste gareel lopen….. Het
laatste land dat dit overkwam is Bolivia, waar de president Evo
Morales, met grote meerderheid werd gekozen. Hij was de eerste
president die uit het overgrote deel van het volk komt, ofwel de
oorspronkelijke bevolking, die vanaf het moment dat de eerste witte
psychopaat hun land betrad zijn vervolgd en het slachtoffer werden
van de grootste genocide ooit, die in de 3 Amerika’s…….

Ongelofelijk
genoeg heeft de VS de afgelopen 2 weken 7.000 vluchtelingen het land
uitgezet, tijdens een crisis waar landen als Mexico het land op slot
hebben gezet en men in feite geen kans heeft te overleven anders dan
via de liefdadigheid, echter ook deze vorm van hulp ligt op haar gat.
In de stad waar Pearson woont heeft de helft van de bevolking weinig
of geen toegang tot water, waar 65% van de bevolking werkloos is
geworden door de maatregelen tegen het virus en dat in een land waar
geen werkloosheidsuitkeringen worden betaald, ofwel het zal niet lang
duren voor deze mensen op straat worden gezet…… Van de ouderen in
Mexico en de rest van Midden-Amerika heeft maar zo’n 20% een
pensioen…..

De
Mexicaanse regering heeft zoals gezegd het land voor een groot deel
op slot gedaan en alleen bedrijven die van cruciaal belang zijn,
zoals supermarkten zijn open….. Helaas kan de straathandel het zich
niet permitteren thuis te blijven, waardoor deze handel gewoon
doorgaat, ofwel de maatregelen van de regering hebben in feite geen
zin……

Pearson
noemt ook Zuid-Afrika, waar afstand houden niet eens mogelijk is in een groot
aantal arme sloppenwijken, waar men in 1 zo’n wijk 380 toiletten heeft voor 20.000
mensen….. De Centraal Afrikaanse Republiek heeft zegge en schrijve 3 beademingsapparaten op een bevolking van 5 miljoen mensen…..

Het beleid moet drastisch omgegooid worden, als we een virus als het huidige Coronavirus (COVID-19) echt willen bestrijden zullen we arme landen op grote schaal moeten helpen, immers als we dat niet doen zal zo’n virus slachtoffers blijven eisen, ook in de witte rijke landen, vergeet niet het volgende cliché: een virus trekt zich niets aan van grenzen!!

Pearson stelt terecht dat grote bedrijven en regeringen verantwoordelijk moeten worden gehouden voor het creëren van ongelijkheid, met als gevolg dat er grote aantallen mensen zullen sterven, daar deze niet van belang zijn voor die bedrijven en regeringen….. Arme landen hebben door de Corona hamsterzucht van de rijke landen geen of amper toegang tot medische middelen als tests en medische apparatuur, deze medische hulpmiddelen zijn door de grote vraag van rijke landen zo duur geworden dat deze arme landen daar geen geld voor hebben, een schande van enorme proporties en dan maar elkaar veren de reet steken met termen als ‘saamhorigheid en solidariteit’, zo vals als de pest!!

Lees het
artikel van Pearson en zegt het voort, tijd dat het rijke westen
eindelijk eens echt wat doet aan de enorme armoede in zoveel landen,
armoede die de grote westerse bedrijven in de kaart speelt en die
door hen in stand wordt gehouden….. Als er dan een figuur als de Boliviaanse president Morales
opstaat die de grote bedrijven nationaliseert, is dat een alarmsignaal voor
de VS, die daarop middels smerig handelen van de CIA de boel op scherp zet, waar de
eerste stap van VS terreur het organiseren is van een opstand, zoals in Bolivia gebeurde….. Het
voorgaande terwijl Morales een uitstekend economisch beleid voerde,
een groot aantal mensen uit de armoede trok, alfabetisering met
succes op touw zette en goede gezondheidszorg plus woningbouw ook voor de arme
Bolivianen toegankelijk maakte……

The
Self-Centered Rich Country Response to Pandemics and Crises is
Wrecking Poor Countries

I’m squatting on a round piece of
concrete, and a 72-year-old man is sitting in the gutter, his walking
stick beside him. He tells me that after being deported from the
United States, he has been hiking the streets of Mexico City trying
to find somewhere to stay. But all the refuges are closed due to the
pandemic, including the one we’re sitting outside of, where I
volunteer. He has run out of insulin for his diabetes and says he
can’t walk any more.

I’m aware that he may not survive
much longer. He’s the fifth person that day that I have to turn
away and I can’t stand it.

Back in the migrant refuge, we
organize working groups and events to add structure to the empty days
and try to prevent tension building up. It’s bad enough that many
of the refugees here have fled violence, only to wait months for
their visas, to now be stuck inside because of the quarantine, unable
to work, even informally.

Over a period of less than two
weeks, some 7,000
migrants have been deported from the US, with the virus as the
excuse. And here too, Mexico is deporting
refugees and migrants to the Guatemalan border, even though it is
closed and there’s no interstate transport operating there.
Hondurans and others are stranded, with nowhere to stay and no way to
return to their country. Many may be killed if they do return. So
far, the contingency measures seem to be doing more harm than good.

Here, we watch the videos of people
cheering for health workers in London, and they are inspiring, but
they don’t really connect. We know our health system won’t be
able to handle much. We also know that with 65% of the workforce
being informal and with no such thing as unemployment benefits, the
economic impact of quarantining will be devastating to us.

Already,
in my city of Puebla, half the population has no access to water, or
not enough. Soon, people will get kicked out of homes, and hunger –
already on their minds – will likely become common.

The national government has
declared that only essential shops and services can stay open. Those
who can, are taking the quarantine seriously. But so many people
aren’t able to stay at home that it is a bit futile. The woman with
the mole stall outside the Oxxo shop near my house is still serving
food, the street stalls selling phone cases and gadgets on 8^th
street are still there, the indigenous woman who sits on the ground
selling beautiful Mexican “rag” dolls, is still there. I estimate
that around 60% of shops and stalls are still going.

In Central America and Mexico, only
20% of old people have a pension. Many are still working, in close to
slave-like conditions.
And in South Africa, distancing is impossible when settlements can
have just 380
toilets for 20,000 people. Risk, fear, and violence, are part of life
for many in poor countries. Poverty is a never-ending war, and being
defenseless and unsafe – health wise and economically, means life
is up for grabs all the time. It’s understandable then that people
react with some self-preserving indifference to the quarantine. And
that’s why it isn’t reasonable to take the Chinese and European
models for responding to the pandemic and transplant them on to
poorer countries.

When I see tweets about “these
sad times” I feel frustrated. Yes, these are tough times, but
things have been horrific for a long time now for the majority of the
world – for poorer people and for brown people. But the mainstream
media, history books, and movies, teach us to see the world through
the eyes of the white first world. That’s where the heroes come
from, where news matters.

It has never been considered urgent
to update the world on the daily deaths from starvation (24,600)
or on the numbers of people working in forced labor or marriage (40.3
million).

Awareness of the savage impact of the US’s war on
Afghanistan is low. In 2018, there were an estimated 228 million
cases of malaria, globally, and 405,000
deaths from it – mostly children. But the people dying are the
poorest of the poor, in African countries and in India. Malaria,
starvation, exploitation, femicides, slum cities and more are crises
that the world won’t stop for.

The so-called “third” world is
the dispensable world. The year 2008 was a “financial crisis,”
but the ongoing global inequality that leaves over half the world
living in undignified conditions is not a crisis, it is acceptable.

Meanwhile, the economic and social
consequences of the pandemic contingency measures will be much more
severe in poorer countries and poorer communities. Already, some
2,500
people are murdered each month in Mexico, and violent crime is only
likely to increase as more and more people lose their incomes. Sexual
assault rates are also likely increasing.

Add to this the huge global
resource inequality which means that most poorer countries can not
respond to the virus in the same way as Europe and parts of Asia,
even if they want to. The Central African Republic, for example, has
just three
ventilators for its population of 5 million people. While the US has
around 160,000
ventilators – and that isn’t enough, Mexico has just a few
hundred.

The US and Europe are hogging
access to medical equipment, masks, and testing materials. The New
York Times reported
that African and Latin American countries have been told by
manufacturers that orders for testing kits won’t be filled for
months, because almost everything they produce is going to the US and
Europe. Prices on these goods have also skyrocketed, making it harder
for poorer regions to acquire them. So far, the numbers of confirmed
cases in poorer countries are lower, but analysis of those numbers
should bare in mind that such countries don’t have access to the
reagents used for testing and are stuck doing nothing, unable to test
even health care workers.

While the #StayAtHome movement is
an incredible display of human solidarity and of our ability to
actually work together for the common good, it also puts the onus of
the solution to the pandemic on individual people. And indeed, we are
part of the solution. But governments and corporations should be held
accountable for the inequalities they have perpetuated and that are
decisive in who lives or dies, and how many.

In this world, where suits and
window dressings and hotel lobbies are designed with the utmost care,
but health and poverty prevention plans are not, it is pointless to
talk about beating this virus without addressing the context it is
flourishing in. Along with measures like rent freezes and
guaranteeing workers’ rights, really addressing a global pandemic
involves public health planning that cross borders and confronting
global inequality and the climate crisis.

Coronavirus: een snel groeiend aantal mensen in VS is afhankelijk van voedselbanken

Vanmorgen op CBC radio het bericht dat een snel groeiend aantal mensen in de VS afhankelijk is van voedselbanken, dit daar zij hun baan verloren door de Coronacrisis en nee voor die mensen heeft Trump geen geld om hun inkomen te garanderen, hoewel hij intussen al honderden miljarden aan dollars heeft laten bijdrukken voor de (grote) bedrijven…….

In de VS zouden volgens het bericht 16 miljoen mensen afhankelijk zijn van voedselbanken, denk echter dat hier een dikke fout is gemaakt, daar minstens 50 miljoen VS burgers afhankelijk zijn van voedselbonnen……. (als het er niet 60 miljoen zijn….) Deze bonnen kunnen worden ingeleverd bij de voedselbanken, waarvan de VS er…. 200 heeft! 200 voedselbanken voor een zo groot land, schande!!!

200 voedselbanken, ofwel velen zullen deze banken eenvoudigweg niet kunnen bereiken, waardoor ze afhankelijk zijn van de liefdadigheid, of mensen die hen willen vervoeren naar die voedselbanken……

Ongelofelijk dat een groot aantal mensen dat afhankelijk is van die voedselbanken, stemmen op Trump, terwijl deze opperploert mede verantwoordelijk is voor hun ellende en niets doet om hun situatie te verbeteren…….. De Coronacrisis toont steeds meer het beeld van een enorme internationale oefening van politie, geheime diensten en de landstrijdkrachten. Google levert intussen aan diverse landen gegevens of mensen wel of niet thuis blijven, dit daar praktisch iedereen z’n geolocatie aan heeft staan op de smartphone……

Als de huidige crisis eventueel de grootste economische crisis ooit zal worden en dat is zonder meer mogelijk, kan men zonder pauze vlekkeloos de staat van beleg afkondigen en het parlement buiten spel zetten, immers men heeft desnoods honderden miljarden over voor bedrijven, echter als de huurders en kopers in de problemen komen, zullen zij uiteindelijk op straat worden gezet*. Nu wordt er nog gezegd dat de banken wel respijt zullen geven als de hypotheek niet betaald kan worden, hetzelfde geldt voor woningcorporaties met huurders die de kosten niet meer op kunnen brengen, echter zoals je begrijpt, uiteindelijk zullen die mensen hun huis moeten verlaten…….

Het voorgaande leidt zonder enige twijfel tot rellen, immers er zullen veel mensen zijn die op dezelfde manier gepakt worden en dezen zullen zich bijna zeker verenigen……

Met een werkloosheid die tot een topniveau zal stijgen, is dat de opmaat naar een opstand…. Kijk en op dat moment kan men de staat van beleg (noodtoestand) afkondigen en kan men de ervaringen die nu worden opgedaan gebruiken om het volk eronder te houden…… Het voorgaande zou zelfs naadloos van de Coronacrisis kunnen overgaan in de depressie die daarop volgt, ofwel men kan zelfs de huidige maatregelen handhaven totdat de economische crisis echt hard toe zal slaan……

Orbán (de premier van Hongarije) heeft de democratie nu al buitenspel gezet** en Trump wil hetzelfde, de opmaat naar een dictatuur, waar de voorwaarden om dit mogelijk te maken, nu volop voorhanden zijn in de vorm van de dwangmaatregelen tegen het Coronavirus en de extra bevoegdheden voor boa’s, politie en geheime diensten……

Mocht het tot een totaal op slot gaan van het land komen (‘lockdown’), zal het leger op straat verschijnen, althans in de meeste landen waar zo’n ‘lockdown’ van kracht is, zie je militairen op straat. Met het leger op straat is het een fluitje van een cent om de staat van beleg af te kondigen (en te handhaven) en daarmee het parlement buitenspel te zetten, waarmee het is afgelopen met de democratie……

Met alle camera’s op straat en in openbare gelegenheden, de toestemming om in de computers en telefoons van burgers te kijken, plus het Google geolocatie toezicht, is het geen probleem om het grootste deel van het volk onder de duim te houden, ofwel dan zal 1984 het boek van George Orwell pas echt ‘in vervulling gaan…..’ Van de reguliere media valt geen verzet te verwachten, men kraait te vaak simpelweg na wat de overheid hen voorkauwt en bejubelt de maatregelen die de overheid neemt, ook al loopt die constant achter de feiten aan……

Dan nog het volgende: er gaan stemmen op om nu van de EU een politieke eenheid te maken, ofwel om de EU macht te geven die het nooit had, daarmee zal de EU een politiemacht, geheime dienst en leger samenstellen, zodat men o.a. onwillige lidstaten in de gaten en bij de les kan houden……..

* De woningnood stijgt nu al, niet alleen doordat de bouw op haar reet ligt, maar ook daar mensen die gedwongen continu samen zijn en van wie de relatie al niet optimaal was, nu bijna of echt vechtend uit elkaar gaan….. Terwijl er vanwege de door de overheid gecreëerde woningnood geen woonruimte beschikbaar is….. Daar komt nog het al genoemde probleem bij dat mensen die hun huis niet meer kunnen betalen, uiteindelijk uit hun huis zullen worden gezet……

Mensen
wat een zootje weer die democratische voorverkiezingen tot het presidentschap, het lijkt of we
weer terug zijn in 2016 toen Hillary Clinton met haar snerige spel geheel misdadig de voorverkiezingen
heeft gestolen van Bernie Sanders en de schuld voor het uitkomen van
deze misdaad (nogmaals: door haar begaan), aangreep om de Russen te beschuldigen van het hacken van o.a. haar mails, waardoor e.e.a. op straat kwam te liggen…… (in werkelijkheid was het een klokkenluider, een gefrustreerd lid van haar campagneteam, boos over haar smerige machinaties om Sanders uit te schakelen*)

Ook nu
lijkt het er sterkt op dat men koste wat kost wil voorkomen dat
Sanders de voorverkiezingen zal winnen en dat zou heel goed mogelijk
zijn daar men gisteren al claimde dat hij de voorverkiezingen in Iowa zou
hebben gewonnen…….. Vandaag wordt gezegd dat de minder bekende kandidaat Pete Buttigieg voor zou liggen op Sanders, echter wat kan je na deze rampzalig verlopen voorverkiezing nog geloven???

Niet
vreemd ook dat aanhangers van Sanders stellen dat ook deze
verkiezingen gemanipuleerd worden door de neoliberale welgestelde top van de
partij……. Mocht dat dreigen uit te komen, zal men andermaal de
Russen beschuldigen van inmenging, ook al had Rusland er 4 jaar
geleden en ook nu weer juist belang bij dat Sanders zou winnen, immers
dan is het echt afgelopen met oorlogsvoering overzee. Hoewel? Men
weet bij de CIA, FBI en NSA wel hoe dissidenten aan te pakken…….

Nog even over Trumps State of the Union, waarmee hij vooral zichzelf veren in de vieze reet stak, Trump stelt dat het prima gaat met de economie van de VS, echter hij vertelt wijselijk genoeg maar niet dat een enorm aantal boeren failliet is gegaan door zijn handelsoorlog, een oorlog die tevens veel middenstanders een faillissement bracht, winkeliers van wie de producten fiks in prijs zijn gestegen door de handelsbeperkingen op Chinese producten….. Voorts zou het aantal banen zijn gegroeid, dat was al gaande onder Obama, terwijl het aantal werkenden dat niet rond kan komen, onder Trump fiks is toegenomen, daarnaast worden een groot aantal mensen niet meer meegerekend als werkloos (een truc die men hier overigens ook toepast)…. Daarnaast hebben velen door die handesloorlog juist hun baan verloren…… Trump stelde verder dat de armoede flink is afgenomen, waar de gebruikers van het aantal voedselbonnen is gegroeid, als reactie daarop heeft Trump flink gesneden in de fondsen voor voedselhulp, hetzelfde doet zijn administratie voor medische hulp, ofwel er wordt bezuinigd op gezondheidskosten, dit nog naast de pogingen van Trump om Medicare en dergelijke programma’s onderuit te halen….. Volgens Trump heeft de wereld ‘respect voor’ de militiare macht van de VS, waar hij de woorden ‘respect voor’ verwart met ‘walgt van……’

Update (0945ET): We’re
not huge fans of Nate Silver, but the 538 data guru delivered a
memorable rant about how the Dems found themselves in this situation.

It’s
damn hard to calculate 15% of a number. That’s the threshold for
determining if a candidate won any delegates.
It’s
so hard to calculate 15% that the Democrats needed to develop an app
to do the calculation.
The
app was too hard to use. And bear in mind, one does have to punch in
numbers correctly.
It’s
hard to punch in the numbers correctly when the results are
scattered all over the room.
Of
course there is another key issue. People have to know how to use a
phone.
Using a phone requires
a mobile app and a backup telephone system. Now that might sound
easy, but I can tell you from the results, that it isn’t.

We’d love to see some data on the
median age of Iowa’s caucus volunteers.

Update (0915ET):
The official results from last night’s Iowa caucus are now 12 hours
late. Offering a terse update, the Iowa Democratic organization said
Tuesday morning that their new app-based reporting system, which was
never tested before caucus-day, had a “coding issue” but
that the results would still be reliable.

The problem, they explained, was
that the smartphone app only reported partial data. Somehow, the Dems
managed to completely botch an app that was only ever meant to be
used by 1,700 people helping to oversee the caucus results.

Of course, this wasn’t the only
‘technical glitch’ to impact the caucus: Over the weekend, the Des
Moines Register/CNN/Mediacom poll that was set to be released
Saturday was instead scrapped because of complaints from the
Buttigieg campaign about its methodology.

Sources said the issue was
attributed to an issue with the ‘font size’, as one of the pollsters
enlarged the text, bumping Buttigieg’s name off the list of options.

Sources also said that poll
would’ve confirmed earlier polls showing Bernie Sanders widening his
lead. Once again, Buttigieg (who was the first to declare victory
last night, effectively making him the ‘winner’ by default) was
behind this snafu.

A conference call with the various
campaigns has been scheduled for 11 AM local time.

Below are excerpts from a statement
to the press from the IDP**, courtesy of the
Hill.

“Precinct
level results are still being reported to the IDP. While our
plan is to release results as soon as possible today, our ultimate
goal is to ensure that the integrity and accuracy of the process
continues to be upheld,” the party said in a statement.
“As
part of our investigation, we determined with certainty that the
underlying data collected via the app was sound.”
“While
the app was recording data accurately, it was reporting out only
partial data. We have determined that this was due to a coding issue
in the reporting system. This issue was identified and fixed. The
application’s reporting issue did not impact the ability of
precinct chairs to report data accurately.”
“Because
of the required paper documentation, we have been able to verify
that the data recorded in the app and used to calculate State
Delegate Equivalents is valid and accurate.”
“We are reading
confirmed reports of Shadow’s work with the Iowa Democratic Party
on Twitter and we, like everyone else, are eagerly awaiting more
information from the Iowa Democratic Party about what happened,”
spokesman Kyle Tharp said.

But remember folks…don’t believe
the conspiracy theories…god forbid anybody suspects that this
extremely shady and suspicious string of events and coincidences is
anything other than that. And enough with #MayorCheat – that’s not
going to help anyone
beat Trump in November, right?

2024. The Iowa Dems said they should have the results ‘some time’
Tuesday.

Betting odds are currently favoring
a release right in the middle of President Trump’s State of the
Union.

Update (0845ET):
As it turns out, tech snafus and ‘human error’ weren’t solely to
blame for last night’s caucus catastrophe.
A columnist for the Iowa Gazette reported that new rules
introduced for this year’s caucus, plus a lack of clarity on the
rules of the esoteric ritual apparently prompted some local precinct
supervisors to make illegal decisions about supporters of
‘non-viable’ candidates joining together.

After the Warren campaign spent
hours instructing its precinct captains in the arcane rules of the
caucus, some wondered whether nonpartisan volunteers in charge of the
process had received adequate training.

“Are you going to
report how this was a (beep) show?” asked Megan Lange, a Warren
supporter. “If this is going on in other caucuses, how reliable
is it?”

“We had to do two
hours of training so we knew how it was supposed to work,” said
Diane Bean, another Warren backer, who wondered whether volunteers
were trained well enough.

“This is like a badly
organized middle school assembly,” Harris said. “As a young
voter, this is very disappointing.”

The circumstances in Mario will
likely lead to Warren challenging the results.

Volunteers messed up. And
their late efforts to pull Marion 5 out of the dumpster fire might
have fared better if more people had waited to go from being
caucusgoers to home-goers. By the time the problem was identified,
too few Democrats remained in the gym for a replay call.

“We regret the
confusion,” said Barb Wild, a caucus volunteer. She encouraged
Warren supporters to document the problems so lessons can be learned.
A complaint is likely.

The takeaway: Even once they’ve
finished counting the votes, millions of Americans will likely refuse
to recognize this as a legitimate reflection of the ‘will of the
people’

Did the Iowa Democratic Party hire
Morgan Stanley to build the vote-counting app for its
first-in-the-nation caucus? Because last night’s catastrophe made the
Facebook IPO*** look like an organized, orderly market debut.

After the party badly botched the
rollout of the results of last night’s Iowa Caucus following “quality
control issues” involving the transmission of data from caucus
sites to the main reporting headquarters,
millions are accusing the Democratic Party of once again trying to
rig the nominating contest to favor establishment candidates while
undermining the insurgent campaign of ‘Democratic Socialist’ Bernie
Sanders.

This technical glitch has led to
one of the most electoral catastrophes in recent memory: Roughly 8
hours after results were expected, there’s still nothing, and the
entire process has been plunged into chaos. The issue erupted after
the Iowa Democratic Party announced late Tuesday that it had found
‘inconsistencies’ in its electronic data, prompting them to audit it
against the paper trail, according to NBC
News.

Party chair Troy Price
said the party is “validating every piece of data we have
against our paper trail. That system is taking longer than expected,
but it’s in place to ensure we are eventually able to report results
with full confidence.”

The state Democratic
party’s communications director, Mandy McClure, said on Monday night
that there were “inconsistencies” in the reporting of three
sets of results. “In addition to the tech systems being used to
tabulate results, we are also using photos of results and a paper
trail to validate that all results match and ensure that we have
confidence and accuracy in the numbers we report,” McClure said.

This is simply a reporting
issue. The app did not go down, and this is not a hack or an
intrusion. The underlying data and paper trail is sound and will
simply take time to further report the results,” McClure added.

Needless to say, polls released in
recent weeks showed Bernie Sanders surging ahead, cementing him as
the front-runner heading into the race. And then this glitch happens,
allowing Pete Buttigieg, Amy Klobuchar and Joe Biden to steal the
caucus-evening spotlight with the help of their cronies in the media.

After watching Democrats rig the
2016 primary in favor of Hillary Clinton, thousands have taken to
twitter to express their frustration. If the caucus was an
unmitigated disaster (made even more hilarious by the fact that all
of the candidates invested months of their time and hundreds of
millions of dollars trying to clinch the all-important first
nominating contest), it was also a wellspring for political humor.

The main takeaway: Is it merely a
coincidence that this epic confusion emerged after Bernie’s surge in
the polls?

Trump goed voor de economie, of…..

Met de regelmaat van de klok hoor je in
de media dat Trump misschien wel een rare snuiter is, maar dat hij
bijzonder goed is voor de
economie, zie de aandelenkoersen de de groei van het bruto
binnenlands product. Echter daar valt nog wel het
e.e.a. op te merken volgens Joseph Stiglitz, Nobelprijswinnaar
economie en professor aan de Columbia Universiteit. Het zegt niets
over hoe het gaat met de gewone burgers en duurzaamheid. Dit
is niet alleen belangrijk voor de volksgezondheid, dierenwelzijn, het
klimaat en het milieu, maar ook voor het voortbestaan van de wereld
zoals wij die kennen. Voorts moet niet vergeten worden dat de klimaatverandering een grote kostenpost is, niet alleen wat betreft een enorm aantal mensenlevens, maar ook gigantische kapitalen aan schade veroorzaakt…..

Uiteraard zijn de zaken die ik hiervoor
noemde onderdeel van de laatste, maar het kan niet vaak genoeg gezegd
worden dat we de wereld naar de kloten helpen…… Ondanks alle
mooie praatjes op klimaattoppen, wordt er ook in de rest van het
westen weinig of niets gedaan om de klimaatverandering af te remmen
en tevens de luchtvervuiling tegen te gaan, een vervuiling die
zovelen het leven kost…. (in Nederland sterven er jaarlijks 18.000
mensen jaren eerder door de uitstoot van auto’s en dat na een akelig
ziekbed, om maar te zwijgen over het grote aantal kinderen dat
jaarlijks door diezelfde uitstoot long- en/of luchtwegklachten
oploopt….) Er worden nu zelfs praatjes verkondigd dat de nieuwste
dieselmotoren goed zijn voor het de luchtkwaliteit, ‘vergetend’ dat
de vervuiling die er nog steeds uitkomt, vooral gebonden is aan het
zwaar kankerverwekkende ultrafijnstof……

It is becoming
conventional wisdom that US President Donald Trump will be tough to
beat in November, because, whatever reservations about him voters may
have, he has been good for the American economy. Nothing could be
further from the truth.

– As
the world’s business elites trek to Davos for their annual
gathering, people should be asking a simple question: Have they
overcome their infatuation with US President Donald Trump?

Two years ago, a few
rare corporate leaders were concerned about climate change, or upset
at Trump’s misogyny and bigotry. Most, however, were celebrating
the president’s tax cuts for billionaires and corporations and
looking forward to his efforts to deregulate the economy. That would
allow businesses to pollute the air more, get more Americans hooked
on opioids, entice more children to eat their diabetes-inducing
foods, and engage in the sort of financial shenanigans that brought
on the 2008 crisis.

Today, many corporate
bosses are still talking about the continued GDP growth and record
stock prices. But neither GDP nor the Dow is a good measure of
economic performance.

Neither tells us what’s happening to ordinary
citizens’ living standards or anything about sustainability. In
fact, US economic performance over the past four years is Exhibit A
in the indictment against relying on these indicators.

To get a good reading
on a country’s economic health, start by looking at the health of
its citizens. If they are happy and prosperous, they will be healthy
and live longer. Among developed countries, America sits at the
bottom in this regard. US life expectancy, already relatively low,
fell in each of the first two years of Trump’s presidency, and in
2017, midlife mortality reached its highest rate since World War II.
This is not a surprise, because no president has worked harder to
make sure that more Americans lack health insurance. Millions have
lost their coverage, and the uninsured rate has risen, in just two
years, from
10.9% to 13.7%.

One reason for
declining life expectancy in America is what Anne Case and Nobel
laureate economist Angus
Deaton call deaths of despair, caused by alcohol, drug overdoses,
and suicide. In 2017 (the most recent year for which good data are
available), such deaths stood at almost
four times their 1999 level.

The only time I have
seen anything like these declines in health – outside of war or
epidemics – was when I was chief economist of the World Bank and
found out that mortality and morbidity data confirmed what our
economic indicators suggested about the dismal state of the
post-Soviet Russian economy.

Trump may be a good
president for the top 1% – and especially for the top 0.1% – but
he has not been good for everyone else. If fully implemented, the
2017 tax cut will result in tax increases
for most households in the second, third, and fourth income
quintiles.

Given tax cuts that
disproportionately benefit the ultrarich and corporations, it should
come as no surprise that there was no
significant change in the median US household’s disposable
income between 2017 and 2018 (again, the most recent year with
good data).

The lion’s share of the increase in GDP is also going
to those at the top. Real median weekly
earnings are just 2.6% above their level when Trump took office.
And these increases have not offset long periods of wage stagnation.
For example, the median wage of a full-time male worker (and those
with full-time jobs are the lucky ones) is still more than 3%
below what it was 40 years ago. Nor has there been much progress
on reducing racial disparities: in the third quarter of 2019, median
weekly earnings for black men working full-time were less
than three-quarters the level for white men.

Making matters worse,
the growth that has occurred is not environmentally sustainable –
and even less so thanks to the Trump administration’s gutting of
regulations that have passed stringent cost-benefit analyses. The air
will be less breathable, the water less drinkable, and the planet
more subject to climate change. In fact, losses related to climate
change have already reached new highs in the US, which has suffered
more property damage than any other country – reaching some
1.5% of GDP in 2017.

The tax cuts were
supposed to spur a new wave of investment. Instead, they triggered an
all-time record
binge of share buybacks – some $800 billion in 2018 – by some
of America’s most profitable companies, and led to record
peacetime deficits (almost $1 trillion in fiscal 2019) in a
country supposedly near full employment. And even with weak
investment, the US had to borrow massively abroad: the most recent
data show foreign
borrowing at nearly $500 billion a year, with an increase of more
than 10% in America’s net indebtedness position in
one year alone.

Likewise, Trump’s
trade wars, for all their sound and fury, have not reduced the US
trade deficit, which was one-quarter higher in 2018 than it was in
2016. The 2018 goods deficit was the largest
on record. Even the deficit in trade with China was up
almost a quarter from 2016. The US did get a new North American
trade agreement, without the investment agreement provisions that the
Business Roundtable wanted, without the provisions raising drug
prices that the pharmaceutical companies wanted, and with better
labor and environmental provisions. Trump, a self-proclaimed master
deal maker, lost on almost every front in his negotiations with
congressional Democrats, resulting in a slightly improved trade
arrangement.

And despite Trump’s
vaunted promises to bring manufacturing jobs back to the US, the
increase in manufacturing employment is still lower than it was under
his predecessor, Barack Obama, once the post-2008 recovery set in,
and is still markedly below its pre-crisis level. Even the
unemployment rate, at a 50-year low, masks economic fragility. The
employment
rate for working-age males and females, while rising, has increased
less than during the Obama recovery, and is still significantly
below that of other developed countries.

The pace of job creation
is also markedly slower than it was under Obama.

Again, the low
employment rate is not a surprise, not least because unhealthy people
can’t work. Moreover, those on disability benefits, in prison –
the US incarceration
rate has increased more than sixfold since 1970, with some two
million people currently behind bars – or so discouraged that
they are not actively seeking jobs are not counted as “unemployed.”
But, of course, they are not employed. Nor is it a surprise that a
country that doesn’t provide affordable childcare or guarantee
family leave would have lower female employment – adjusted for
population, more than ten percentage points lower – than other
developed countries.

Even judging by GDP,
the Trump economy falls short. Last quarter’s growth was just 2.1%,
far less than the 4%, 5%, or even 6% Trump promised
to deliver, and even less than the 2.4% average of Obama’s second
term. That is a remarkably poor performance considering the stimulus
provided by the $1 trillion deficit and ultra-low interest rates.
This is not an accident, or just a matter of bad luck: Trump’s
brand is uncertainty, volatility, and prevarication, whereas trust,
stability, and confidence are essential for growth. So is equality,
according to the International Monetary Fund.

So, Trump deserves
failing grades not just on essential tasks like upholding democracy
and preserving our planet. He should not get a pass on the economy,
either.

Tamara van Ark (VVD staatssecretaris) wil ‘bijstandstrekkers’ pakken die mede dankzij de kabinetten Rutte werkloos zijn geworden

Tamara van Ark, staatssecretaris Sociale Zaken en Werkgelegenheid, wil ten overvloede nog eens laten zien dat de VVD de pest heeft aan ‘uitkeringstrekkers’, vandaar dat ze na een hersenstorm van een paar weken (het werkt allemaal niet zo snel bij mw. van Ark) gisteren met ‘het geweldige nieuws’ kwam dat ze bijstandsgerechtigden gaat aanpakken, alsof het om een leger mensen gaat die dag in dag uit erop uit zijn de maatschappij een poot uit te draaien…… Alsof het een leugen is dat een heel groot deel van de bijstandsgerechtigden al lang een vrijwilligers baan heeft…….

Er is maar een heel kleine groep bijstandsgerechtigden die het zich kan veroorloven niets te willen doen, iets dat van Ark NB toegeeft….. Daarnaast zit er een grote groep mensen tussen die werkloos zijn geworden door het totaal mislukte beleid van Rutte 1 en 2 op de bankencrisis. Een groot deel van deze mensen die destijds al boven de 45 waren, zijn niet meer aan de bak gekomen, nogmaals: buiten eigen schuld, maar onder verantwoording van VVD (zoals gezegd: de partij van van Ark), CDA, PvdA en D66…..

Voorts hebben de kabinetten Balkenende de WAO aangepast en ervoor gezorgd dat je op sterven na dood moet zijn, om nog voor 100% WAO in aanmerking te komen, waarna veel arbeidsongeschikten in de bijstand zijn beland, ofwel een groot aantal mensen in de bijstand kan niet eens werken daar ze arbeidsongeschikt zijn en toch wil van Ark ook deze mensen pakken……..

Dan zijn er nog de mensen die voorheen in de sociale werkplaatsen arbeid verrichtten, maar die door PvdA hufter Klijnsma bij gewone bedrijven moesten gaan werken, dit onder de belachelijke term ‘participeren in de maatschappij’ (‘participatiemaatschappij’). Zoals te verwachten was en waar het SCP na jaren eindelijk afgelopen week mee kwam: die hele participatiemaatschappij is één grote mislukking….. Intussen zijn veel mensen met een beperking in de bijstand beland en ook deze mensen wil van Ark aanpakken……

Wat een zootje mensen, figuren als van Ark die zich voordoen als keiharde bestrijders van ten onrechte toegekende uitkeringen, maken met hun werk juist de zwakste mensen in onze maatschappij gehaat bij een groot deel van de bevolking, door te stellen dat ze ‘eindelijk eens wat moeten doen voor hun uitkering…….’

Alsof het bij een bijstandsuitkering om een gigantisch bedrag gaat, terwijl je niet rond kan komen van zo’n uitkering……..

Jaarlijks ontduiken Nederlanders voor rond de 18 miljard euro de belasting in ons land, pak die mensen eindelijk eens actief aan (en niet pas nadat een klokkenluider bewijzen overlegt aan de belastingdienst…..). Overigens ook de grote bedrijven ontduiken de belasting, daar gaat het op jaarbasis om 30 miljard euro en ook dat bedrag laat men liggen…… Maar nee, de mensen met een bijstandsuitkering moeten gepakt worden (terwijl het om bedragen gaat die in het niet vallen bij de hiervoor aangehaalde gevallen van belastingontduiking….)……..

Dennis Wiersma (VVD Tweede Kamer) wil onbevoegde techniekdocenten voor de klas

Gisteren wist VVD huppellulletje Wiersma het nieuws te halen met een voorstel om onbevoegde techniekdocenten voor de klas te zetten, dit om zo het tekort aan dat soort docenten te tackelen…..

Waar Wiersma niet aan heeft gedacht is het feit dat er veel te weinig technici zijn in Nederland en de bedrijven deze zelfs uit het buitenland halen….. Je kan uittekenen dat de bedrijven die goede technische krachten hebben, deze niet zullen uitlenen aan het onderwijs, hooguit zullen ze medewerkers uitlenen die men kan missen….. Daarmee komen er onbevoegde en in feite slechte techniekwerkers voor de klas te staan….

Er is in het hele onderwijs een tekort aan docenten, dat was al zo toen het eerste VVD kabinet Rutte aantrad en dat is na 9 jaar (!!) Rutte niet veranderd, ofwel de VVD en alle partijen die deelnamen aan de waardeloze kabinetten Rutte* hebben 9 jaar de tijd gehad om echt iets te doen aan het lerarentekort, maar hebben dat verzaakt…… (ondanks dat dit onderwerp meermaals op de agenda van de Tweede Kamer stond!!) En dan komt Wiersma na 9 jaar met een ‘onbevoegde, oplossing’ (met relatief slechte werkkrachten) voor het tekort aan techniekdocenten……. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!

* De kabinetten Rutte 1 tot en met 3 bestonden/bestaan uit VVD, PvdA (met de onderwijsportefeuille in Rutte 2), CDA (Rutte 1 en 3), D66 (‘onderwijspartij’ ha! ha!) en ChristenUnie (de laatste 2 in het huidige kabinet Rutte 3), met gedoogsteun door de fascisten van de PVV voor Rutte 1. Overigens werden deze kabinetten door veel meer partijen gedoogd, ook al leverden die kabinetten uitermate slecht werk, neem het beleid tijdens de voortdurende banken- of kredietcrisis, een regeringsbeleid dat een ongelofelijk aantal mensen werkloos maakte, waar velen van deze werklozen nooit meer aan ‘de bak’ zijn gekomen, daar ze de 45 jaar passeerden in die tijd….. En dan durft schoft Rutte te spreken over de hardwerkende Nederlanders die bevoordeeld moeten worden (wat overigens niet gebeurde en waar velen van die ‘hardwerkende Nederlanders’ amper kunnen rondkomen van hun belachelijk lage salaris….).

SCP komt met natte vinger peiling over kwaliteit van leven: een gemiddelde van 7,8

Kim Putters, de topgraaier van het Sociaal Cultureel Planbureau (SCP) steekt eens per jaar de vinger uit het raam en komt dan met het cijfer dat de Nederlander zich geeft over de kwaliteit van leven, e.e.a. vervat in een rapport met de naam ‘De sociale staat van Nederland…’

Het valt me nog mee dat het SCP stelt dat de economische opleving er niet voor heeft gezorgd dat de kwaliteit van het leven erop vooruit is gegaan, waar wordt gesteld dat men net zo tevreden is als in 2008. Hoewel mensen zouden stellen dat de kwaliteit van het leven er niet op vooruit is gegaan geeft men zichzelf het gemiddelde cijfer van 7,8…… ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Me dunkt, een 7,8 geven voor de kwaliteit van het leven is niet ‘geheel in overeenstemming’ met de werkelijkheid, waar bijvoorbeeld rond de 4 miljoen mensen tegen, op, of onder de armoedegrens moeten leven (daaronder 600.000 kinderen). Zie verder het grote aantal zzp’ers en mensen die op een andere manier flexwerken, waar men dagelijks wordt uitgebuit door psychopathische ondernemers……

Vooral bij jongvolwassenen tot 34 jaar, éénoudergezinnen, middeninkomens, lagere inkomens en werklozen is het cijfer voor de kwaliteit van het leven iets afgenomen aldus het SCP…… Belachelijk dat in deze opsomming ook de middeninkomens zitten, immers zij hebben aanzienlijk veel meer te besteden dan de andere opgesomde groepen (uiteraard zijn ook jong volwassenen met een dikke baan een uitzondering, al rept het SCP daar niet over….)

Werkende jongeren besluiten steeds vaker een kunstgebit te nemen, om zo de kosten voor de tandzorg te bezuinigen, meneer Putters dat is ronduit een schande en geeft ten overvloede aan dat men alles behalve gelukkig is, me dunkt een 4,1 lijkt me voor deze groep beter op de plaats, zeker als je ziet hoe het grootste deel van deze mensen worden uitgenomen in het bedrijfsleven…..

Ouderen van boven de 65 zouden iets meer tevreden te zijn vanwege de aanschaf van een vaatwasser of laptop…… ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Nu nog een stofzuiger en een robotgrasmaaier voor het balkon!! Ouderen met een kleine portemonnee zijn er de laatste 10 jaar amper op vooruitgegaan, integendeel, velen hebben nu minder te besteden….. Een groot aantal ouderen leeft in armoede en deze mensen lopen daar al helemaal niet mee te koop, daar die generatie dat niet fatsoenlijk vindt….. Lullig genoeg leven velen van hen daarom in eenzaamheid, maar ja, dat wil het SCP liever niet weten, het past niet in het plaatje dat de overheid verwacht…..

Daarover gesproken en zoals al vaker op deze plek opgemerkt: niet alleen ouderen geven liever niet aan dat ze ongelukkig zijn, dat geldt voor het overgrote deel van de mensheid, vandaar ook de kul als weer blijkt dat de Nederlander het gelukkigst is….. Natuurlijk geldt hetzelfde voor de kwaliteit van leven, iets dat direct gelinkt is aan het gelukkig zijn…. Het SCP is er dan ook vooral om mooie cijfers over tevredenheid en geluk te leveren voor de zittende regeringen, immers met dit soort gelul probeert men het regeringsbeleid een gouden rand te geven, terwijl de dagelijkse praktijk er ‘een klein beetje anders’ uitziet…… (geen gouden rand, maar een rand opgebouwd uit bagger en faeces, omgeven door een nog kwalijker geur van leugens en bedrog…)

Ach, het SCP is als het CBS een cijfergoochelinstituut en de cijfers van het SCP kloppen veel vaker niet dan wel……

CPB over ‘milde loonstijging’ i.v.m. lage koopkrachtstijging……

Afgelopen dinsdag op BNR na 7.30 u. Wim Suyker van het cijfergoochelinstituut CPB die de eerdere cijfers van het CPB voor de duizendste keer kwam bijstellen (niet dat hij dit al 1.000 keer heeft gedaan, hij is gewoon de zoveelste opvolger die dat deed, immers de cijfers van dit overbodige bureau kloppen zelden of nooit…)….

Volgens Suyker ligt de kleine stijging van de koopkracht bij burgers aan een ‘mildere stijging’ van de CAO lonen en de verhoging van de olieprijs……. ‘Een mildere stijging van de CAO lonen’, alsof het een natuurverschijnsel betreft i.p.v. werkgevers die zich scheel verdienen, maar hun personeel afknijpen…….

Niets over de energietransitie die teruggedraaid zou worden, maar nog steeds maandelijks van je rekening wordt geschreven. Niets over de btw verhoging die nog dagelijks het leven verder bemoeilijkt voor de 4 miljoen mensen die tegen, op, of onder de armoedegrens moeten leven……

En dan krijgen de huurders per 1 juli nog eens een huurverhoging voor de kiezen van in de meeste gevallen meer dan 3%……

Overigens ook de grijnzende topleugenaar en godbetert VVD premier Rutte blijft gewoon volhouden dat iedereen er dit jaar op vooruit zal gaan, terwijl iedereen met een inkomen tot € 25.000,– weet dat dit een smerige leugen is, de zoveelste die hij op het volk laat neerdalen…… Dan nog de ‘hardwerkende Nederlander’, die Rutte zo vaak noemt: veel van hen zijn door wanbeleid van Rutte en zijn afbraakkabinetten blijvend in de werkloosheid beland (waar ze niet meer worden meegerekend als ze in de bijstand verdwijnen of als hun partner 10 cent teveel verdient om voor die bijstand in aanmerking te komen…….)

Rutte stelde voorts dat de werkgevers hun personeel nu ook eindelijk eens een moeten laten meedelen in de megawinsten die worden gemaakt….. Waar hij en zijn kabinetten de ondernemers juist hebben voorzien van instrumenten om hun werknemers nog verder uit te buiten, zoals het zzp schap, waarbij de werknemers werden gedwongen hun eigen nering op te zetten, alles uiteraard tegen een zo laag mogelijke vergoeding….. Ook via ‘payrolling’ (de vertaling zou zakkenrollen moeten zijn, ‘maar goed…’) kan men medewerkers fiks uitmelken, een zaak waartegen Rutte en zijn afbraakkabinetten niets hebben ondernomen……

Ben het altijd oneens met de vreselijke sociopaat Hans de Boer van VNO-NCW, echter deze week moest ik hem gelijk geven toen hij Rutte voorhield dat deze de ‘gewone hardwerkende burgers’ uitneemt via de belastingen….* Waar ik nog aan toe zou willen voegen dat een groot aantal werknemers Oost-Europeanen in dienst hebben die ze per half jaar laten vervangen door een andere ploeg, zodat er nooit meer dan het minimumloon betaald hoeft te worden……. (waar deze mensen ook nog eens worden uitgebuit via hun huisvesting, zodat ze veel minder dan het minimumloon ontvangen)

Wel moet ik toegeven dat bedrijfseigenaren en CEO’s er fiks geld bij hebben gekregen, met bedragen van zelfs meer dan 20%, dit gebeurde ook tijdens de langdurige bankencrisis, al bedoelde plork de Boer dit zeker niet……

* Volgens de Boer zijn er wel aanzienlijke loonsverhogingen gegeven, waar volgens hem de belastingen ervoor zorgen dat er amper wat overblijft, echter dat is gelul van een dronken aardbei, de meeste werknemers hebben er sinds 2008 amper wat bij gekregen…… Het gaat zelfs zover dat er een fikse groep werknemers is die niet rond kan komen van één inkomen en er een baantje naast hebben genomen…… Ach ja, de Boer, als Rutte een neoliberale misdadiger…..
