Door een incident met een tankwagen, gevuld met petrolad, een stof die gebruikt zou worden voor versnellingsbakken, zat een groot deel van Nederland vandaag in de stank.
Door een incident bij het schoonmaken van de tank bij een bedrijf in Alblasserdam kwam de stof vrij….. Mensen klaagden massaal over de stank, over prikkende ogen en een aantal moest zelfs overgeven, geen reden om de mensen bang te maken, zal men weer eens gedacht hebben en bracht men het bericht dat de stof niet gevaarlijk is voor de volksgezondheid……. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Overgeven, prikkende ogen, dit van een stof die bij vrijkomen in een enorm gebied is te ruiken en dan durven zeggen dat het geen kwaad kan voor de volksgezondheid, is een leugen van formaat!!

Een teken dat de Nederlandse overheid, of dat nu lokaal, provinciaal of landelijk bestuur is, echt denkt dat de gemiddelde Nederlander een imbeciel is en daar zelfs naar handelt………
Ach ja, economisch gewin gaat ook in dit land nu eenmaal héééél ver voor op de volksgezondheid…… Zie wat dat betreft ook de gevolgen voor de volksgezondheid van vuurwerk, van de uitstoot door auto’s geproduceerd, vervuiling door afgemeerde cruiseschepen nabij centra van steden, vliegtuigoverlast en de doodsindustrie die men eufemistisch de vleesindustrie noemt….
Hoe
de VS te werk gaat als het een haar onwelgevallig regime wil laten
vallen, is op deze plek meermaals aangehaald: organiseer een opstand
onder het volk, het liefst middels een economische oorlog, die
aanvankelijk in het geniep wordt gevoerd: VS bedrijven onder druk
zetten, bedrijven die in bijvoorbeeld Venezuela levensmiddelen
verkopen, hun voorraden niet of onvoldoende te bevoorraden,
hetzelfde geldt voor farmaceutische bedrijven. Hierdoor ontstaat
ontevredenheid onder het volk, een situatie die kan leiden tot een
volledige opstand……
Een
opstand die uiteraard wordt georganiseerd en geregisseerd door de
VS >> CIA), waarbij men het liefst gewelddadige figuren inzet die middels
zwaar geweld als het doodschieten van demonstranten, het bewuste
bewind zoals dat in Venezuela in een kwaad daglicht stelt, ofwel: de
doden zouden te danken zijn aan het bewind, dit noemt men een false flag operatie en is een specialiteit van de CIA en het Pentagon…….
Met
een opstand in het land ligt de weg naar een staatsgreep open. Immers
op het punt dat er sprake is van een opstand, die ‘met geweld wordt
onderdrukt’, stappen de reguliere westerse media in de zaak en middels het
schreeuwen van moord en brand en de eis sancties in te stellen…..
Met sancties zoals in het geval van Venezuela, wordt het leven voor
de bevolking nog zwaarder, waarna men in diezelfde media in de
westerse politiek ingrijpen eist…… Zie hier in het kort de
werkwijze van de VS.
De VS heeft in Venezuela een tekort aan voedsel en medicijnen veroorzaakt, waar dezelfde VS nu de door haar naar voren geschoven kandidaat Guaidó wil voorzien van….. levensmiddelen en medicijnen!!
Op dit moment, even na 12.00 u. is er een Duitse correspondent in Venezuela aan het woord op WDR 5, en stap voor stap herhaalt zij de leugens die tot de door de VS georganiseerde opstand in Venezuela hebben geleid, zo herhaalt ze de leugen dat er geen economische oorlog is gevoerd tegen het land en dat de tekorten aan Maduro’s beleid zijn te danken…… Terwijl er aantoonbaar een economische oorlog is gevoerd tegen Venezuela en dat deze de grote tekorten heeft veroorzaakt……
De correspondent spreekt alsof de toestand van het Venezolaanse volk hetzelfde is als die voor de Palestijnen in de Gazastrook en op de West Bank, of sterker nog: of deze te vergelijken is met de genocide die de Saoedische terreurcoalitie uitvoert in Jemen (met grote steun van de VS en GB…) en waarbij dagelijks grote aantallen mensen omkomen…. (opvallend is het volgende onderwerp op WDR 5: fake news [nepnieuws] en de betrouwbaarheid van de reguliere media…..)

september 1973 (de eerste 9/11, als de tweede, onder regie van de CIA….)
On
15 September 1970, US President Richard Nixon and National Security
Advisor Henry Kissinger authorised the US government to do everything
possible to undermine the incoming government of the socialist
president of Chile, Salvador Allende. Nixon and Kissinger, according
to the notes kept by CIA Director Richard Helms, wanted to ‘make
the economy scream’ in Chile; they were ‘not concerned [about
the] risks involved’. War was acceptable to them as long as
Allende’s government was removed from power. The CIA started
Project FUBELT, with $10 million as a first instalment to begin the
covert destabilisation of the country.

US
business firms, such as the telecommunication giant ITT, the soft
drink maker Pepsi Cola and copper monopolies such as Anaconda and
Kennecott, put pressure on the US government once Allende
nationalised the copper sector on 11 July 1971. Chileans celebrated
this day as the Day of National Dignity (Dia de la Dignidad
Nacional). The CIA began to make contact with sections of the
military seen to be against Allende. Three years later, on 11
September 1973, these military men moved against Allende, who died in
the regime change operation. The US ‘created the conditions’ as
US National Security Advisor Henry Kissinger put it, to which US
President Richard Nixon answered, ‘that is the way it is going to
be played’. Such is the mood of international gangsterism.

Chile
entered the dark night of a military dictatorship that turned over
the country to US monopoly firms. US advisors rushed in to strengthen
the nerve of General Augusto Pinochet’s cabinet.
What
happened to Chile in 1973 is precisely what the United States has
attempted to do in many other countries of the Global South. The most
recent target for the US government – and Western big business –
is Venezuela. But what is happening to Venezuela is nothing unique.
It faces an onslaught from the United States and its allies that is
familiar to countries as far afield as Indonesia and the Democratic
Republic of Congo. The formula is clichéd. It is commonplace, a
twelve-step plan to produce a coup climate, to create a world under
the heel of the West and of Western big business.
Step
One: Colonialism’s Traps.
Most
of the Global South remains trapped by the structures put in place by
colonialism. Colonial boundaries encircled states that had the
misfortune of being single commodity producers – either sugar for
Cuba or oil for Venezuela. The inability to diversify their economies
meant that these countries earned the bulk of their export revenues
from their singular commodities (98% of Venezuela’s export revenues
come from oil). As long as the prices of the commodities remained
high, the export revenues were secure. When the prices fell, revenue
suffered. This was a legacy of colonialism. Oil prices dropped from
$160.72 per barrel (June 2008) to $51.99 per barrel (January 2019).
Venezuela’s export revenues collapsed in this decade.
Step
Two: The Defeat of the New International Economic Order.
In
1974, the countries of the Global South attempted to redo the
architecture of the world economy. They called for the creation of a
New International Economic Order (NIEO) that would allow them to
pivot away from the colonial reliance upon one commodity and
diversify their economies. Cartels of raw materials – such as oil
and bauxite – were to be built so that the one-commodity country
could have some control over prices of the products that they relied
upon. The Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC),
founded in 1960, was a pioneer of these commodity cartels. Others
were not permitted to be formed. With the defeat of OPEC over the
past three decades, its members – such as Venezuela (which has the
world’s largest proven oil reserves) – have not been able to
control oil prices. They are at the mercy of the powerful countries
of the world.
Step
Three: The Death of Southern Agriculture.
In
November 2001, there were about three billion small farmers and
landless peasants in the world. That month, the World Trade
Organisation met in Doha (Qatar) to unleash the productivity of
Northern agri-business against the billions of small farmers and
landless peasants of the Global South. Mechanisation and large,
industrial-scale farms in North America and Europe had raised
productivity to about 1 to 2 million kilogrammes of cereals per
farmer. The small farmers and landless peasants in the rest of the
world struggled to grow 1,000 kilogrammes of cereals per farmer. They
were nowhere near as productive. The Doha decision, as Samir
Amin wrote,
presages the annihilation of the small farmer and landless peasant.
What are these men and women to do? The production per hectare is
higher in the West, but the corporate take-over of agriculture (as
Tricontinental: Institute for Social Research Senior Fellow P.
Sainath shows) leads to increased hunger as it pushes peasants off
their land and leaves them to starve.
Step
Four: Culture of Plunder.
Emboldened
by Western domination, monopoly firms act with disregard for the law.
As Kambale
Musavuli and I write of
the Democratic Republic of Congo, its annual budget of $6 billion is
routinely robbed of at least $500 by monopoly mining firms, mostly
from Canada – the country now leading the charge against Venezuela.
Mispricing and tax avoidance schemes allow these large firms
(Canada’s Agrium, Barrick and Suncor) to routinely steal billions
of dollars from impoverished states.
Step
Five: Debt as a Way of Life.
Unable
to raise money from commodity sales, hemmed in by a broken world
agricultural system and victim of a culture of plunder, countries of
the Global South have been forced to go hat in hand to commercial
lenders for finance. Over the past decade, debt held by the Global
South states has increased, while debt payments have ballooned by
60%. When commodity prices rose between 2000 and 2010, debt in the
Global South decreased. As commodity prices began to fall from 2010,
debts have risen. The IMF points out that of the 67 impoverished
countries that they follow, 30 are in debt distress, a number that
has doubled since 2013. More than 55.4% of Angola’s export revenue
is paid to service its debt. And Angola, like Venezuela, is an oil
exporter. Other oil exporters such as Ghana, Chad, Gabon and
Venezuela suffer high debt to GDP ratios. Two out of five low-income
countries are in deep financial distress.
Step
Six: Public Finances Go to Hell.
With
little incoming revenue and low tax collection rates, public finances
in the Global South has gone into crisis. As the UN Conference on
Trade and Development points out, ‘public finances have continued
to be suffocated’. States simply cannot put together the funds
needed to maintain basic state functions. Balanced budget rules make
borrowing difficult, which is compounded by the fact that banks
charge high rates for money, citing the risks of lending to indebted
countries.
Step
Seven: Deep Cuts in Social Spending.
Impossible
to raise funds, trapped by the fickleness of international finance,
governments are forced to make deep cuts in social spending.
Education and health, food sovereignty and economic diversification –
all this goes by the wayside. International agencies such as the IMF
force countries to conduct ‘reforms’, a word that means
extermination of independence. Those countries that hold out face
immense international pressure to submit under pain of extinction, as
the Communist Manifesto (1848) put it.
Step
Eight: Social Distress Leads to Migration.
The
total number of migrants in the world is now at least 68.5 million.
That makes the country called Migration the 21st largest country in
the world after Thailand and ahead of the United Kingdom. Migration
has become a global reaction to the collapse of countries from one
end of the planet to the other. The migration out of Venezuela is not
unique to that country but is now merely the normal reaction to the
global crisis. Migrants from Honduras who go northward to the United
States or migrants from West Africa who go towards Europe through
Libya are part of this global exodus.
Step
Nine: Who Controls the Narrative?
The
monopoly corporate media takes its orders from the elite. There is no
sympathy for the structural crisis faced by governments from
Afghanistan to Venezuela. Those leaders who cave to Western pressure
are given a free pass by the media. As long as they conduct
‘reforms’, they are safe. Those countries that argue against the
‘reforms’ are vulnerable to being attacked. Their leaders become
‘dictators’, their people hostages. A contested election in
Bangladesh or in the Democratic Republic of Congo or in the United
States is not cause for regime change. That special treatment is left
for Venezuela.
Step
Ten: Who’s the Real President?
Regime
change operations begin when the imperialists question the legitimacy
of the government in power: by putting the weight of the United
States behind an unelected person, calling him the new president and
creating a situation where the elected leader’s authority is
undermined. The coup takes place when a powerful country decides –
without an election – to anoint its own proxy. That person – in
Venezuela’s case Juan Guaidó – rapidly has to make it clear that
he will bend to the authority of the United States. His kitchen
cabinet – made up of former government officials with intimate ties
to the US (such as Harvard University’s Ricardo Hausmann and
Carnegie’s Moisés Naím) – will make it clear that they want to
privatise everything and sell out the Venezuelan people in the name
of the Venezuelan people.
Step
Eleven: Make the Economy Scream.
Venezuela
has faced harsh US sanctions since 2014, when the US Congress started
down this road. The next year, US President Barack Obama declared
Venezuela a ‘threat to national security’. The economy started to
scream. In recent days, the United States and the United Kingdom
brazenly stole billions of dollars of Venezuelan money, placed the
shackles of sanctions on its only revenue generating sector (oil) and
watched the pain flood through the country. This is what the US did
to Iran and this is what they did to Cuba. The UN says that the US
sanctions on Cuba have cost the small island $130 billion. Venezuela
lost $6 billion for the first year of Trump’s sanctions, since they
began in August 2017. More is to be lost as the days unfold. No
wonder that the United Nations Special Rapporteur Idriss Jazairy says
that ‘sanctions which can lead to starvation and medical shortages
are not the answer to the crisis in Venezuela’. He said that
sanctions are ‘not a foundation for the peaceful settlement of
disputes’. Further, Jazairy said, ‘I am especially concerned to
hear reports that these sanctions are aimed at changing the
government of Venezuela’. He called for ‘compassion’ for the
people of Venezuela.
Step
Twelve: Go to War.
US
National Security Advisor John Bolton held a yellow pad with the
words 5,000 troops in Colombia written on it. These are US troops,
already deployed in Venezuela’s neighbour. The US Southern Command
is ready. They are egging on Colombia and Brazil to do their bit. As
the coup climate is created, a nudge will be necessary. They will go
to war.
None
of this is inevitable. It was not inevitable to Titina Silá, a
commander of the Partido Africano para a Independència da Guiné e
Cabo Verde (PAIGC) who was murdered on 30 January 1973. She fought to
free her country. It is not inevitable to the people of Venezuela,
who continue to fight to defend their revolution. It is not
inevitable to our friends at CodePink: Women for Peace, whose Medea
Benjamin walked into a meeting of the Organisation of American States
and said – No!
It
is time to say No to regime change intervention. There is no middle
ground.

Afgelopen woensdag in het WDR 5 programma Quarks (‘Wissenschaft und mehr’) een deskundige die stelde dat er een verborgen vervuiling op zee plaatsvindt en dat al vanaf de 30er jaren van de vorige eeuw.
Voor het verstoken van zware stookolie is een zogenaamde separator nodig, een apparaat dat vaste vloeistoffen van vloeibare stoffen scheidt. Volgens deze man moeten deze separatoren dagelijks gereinigd worden en de dikke zware smurrie die daarna overblijft, wordt ‘gewoon’ overboord gekieperd……..
Er is nog maar weinig aandacht voor deze vervuiling aldus de deskundige, welnu dat kan je wel stellen, ik heb er persoonlijk nooit over gehoord…..
Gezien het enorme aantal schepen dat sinds die tijd over de wereldzeeën is gevaren, moet de veroorzaakte vervuiling intussen gigantisch zijn…..

Voorts werd onlangs bekend gemaakt dat grote schepen lang niet allemaal overschakelen op een minder zwaar vervuilende brandstof als de eerder aangehaalde zware stookolie, als ze in Europese havens liggen…… (zeeschepen zijn verplicht om voor het binnenvaren van een zone, op een bepaalde afstand van de kust, over te schakelen op minder vervuilende olie, echter er is zoals gewoonlijk weer eens sprake van een zwaar disfunctionerende en onderbemenste inspectie…)
Gistermorgen op BNR rond 8.08 u. ‘GroenLinks’ oplichter van Ojik. Het was voor hem weer eens tijd het nieuws te halen, zeker gezien de verkiezingen komende maart en mei.
Na een fiks portie hersengymnastiek, waarmee van Ojik vooral Trump bestudeerde was hij eruit: Huawei mag niet in aanmerking komen voor de aanleg van het G5 netwerk, niet dat hij ook maar iets van die technologie begrijpt, zo gaf hij NB zelf aan, maar het leek hem beter geen bedrijf in de armen te nemen dat onderhorig is aan de Chinese communistische partij……..
Nee, van Ojik moet er niet aan denken, de spionage die de Chinese overheid kan uitvoeren met dit netwerk…. uh oh nee, hij had geen verstand van dit smartphone netwerk…… ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Of hij dan bewijzen had die zijn veronderstellingen kunnen onderbouwen…. Nee, dat kan van Ojik niet, zoals hij al evenmin een bewijs kan vinden dat China dit nu al doet via het G4 netwerk, want ja ook dat netwerk werd door de specialist op dit gebied, Huawei geïnstalleerd…….
Van Ojik heeft al helemaal geen verstand van computers, hacken en WikiLeaks*, anders zou hij weten dat men voor spionage desnoods op 10.000 km. afstand computers kan hacken en zo achter gevoelige informatie kan komen….. Nee, Ojik heeft de idee dat alle leugencampagnes van westerse politici en de westerse reguliere media tegen Rusland en China waar zijn en daar wil hij graag een graantje van meepikken…….
Een Europees bedrijf moet het G5 netwerk aanleggen aldus van Ojik, waar hij Nokia en Ericsson noemde als bedrijven die dit ook kunnen….. Volgens zeggen zou echter het G5 netwerk van Huawei veel beter werken, daar het bedrijf al geruime ervaring heeft met het uitleggen van dergelijke netwerken,
Lullig voor van Ojik, maar deskundigen stellen dat je via zo’n netwerk niet eens kan spioneren…. Ofwel, van Ojik, lid van GroenLinks, waarvan de eerdere PSP (Pacifistisch Socialistische Partij) deel uitmaakt, is een vervelende angstzaaier, die het prima vindt dat de spanningen wereldwijd verder oplopen, spanningen die zelfs kunnen uitmonden in een WOIII……

Rutte ‘onze’ premier van misdadigers partij VVD, liet gisteren weten dat hij de scholierenstaking fantastisch vindt….. Met wat daarna volgde maakte Rutte zijn zoveelste uitermate grove leugen…..
De scholierenstaking (voor echt handelen op de klimaatverandering en het vervuilde milieu) is fantastisch, waarop Rutte de scholieren meteen even een schop tegen de schenen gaf, daar hij stelde dat Nederland juist al heel veel op milieu- en klimaatgebied doet, meer dan andere EU landen….. ha! ha ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Jezus* waar haalt hij het vandaan??
Vandaar dat onze luchtkwaliteit tot de slechtste van de EU behoort, vandaar dat we een gigantisch mestoverschot hebben en de bodem verzuren met het injecteren van deze troep…… Vandaar dat Nederland een intensieve veehouderij heeft waarin jaarlijks 500 miljoen dieren (ja een half miljard!) worden groot en doodgemarteld…. Een zaak waar Rutte 1, 2 en 3 niets aan hebben gedaan, integendeel de veestapel is nog verder gestegen en er werden en worden vergunningen afgegeven voor nieuwbouw van stallen waar de aanduiding megastal de lading nog niet dekt…….
Deze enorme veestapel stoot ook nog eens een enorme hoeveelheid methaangas uit, één van de sterkste broeikasgassen op de wereld en een enorme aanjager van de klimaatverandering…… Om maar te zwijgen over het kappen dan wel verbranden van oerwoud om daar genetisch gemanipuleerde groente te telen voor het benodigde diervoer….. Zo is Nederland de nummer 2 importeur van genetisch gemanipuleerde soja…… (80% van de wereldsojaproductie gaat naar diervoeder……)
Vandaar dat onder Rutte 2 en 3 de maximumsnelheid op snelwegen werd (en nog steeds wordt) verhoogd van 80 naar 100 km/u. op 80 kilometerwegen die onderdeel zijn van snelwegen en van 120 naar 130 km/u. op andere delen van snelwegen……. Een snelheidsverhoging waarmee de giftige auto-uitstoot extra wordt vergroot……
Vandaar dat Nederland miljarden geeft aan de eigenaren van kolencentrales zodat ze daarmee bossen in de VS kunnen opkopen en deze als ‘biomassa’ verbranden in de nieuwe kolencentrales…… Bij houtverbranding komen trouwens ook heftig giftige stoffen vrij en bij deze verbranding zou zelfs meer troep de lucht ingaan dan door de kolenverbranding in die centrales….. Kolencentrales die godbetert tot 2030 mogen openblijven, terwijl de veel schonere gascentrales uitgeschakeld staan…..*
Voorts kan je nog wijzen op het grote aantal cruiseschepen dat Nederland aandoet en daarbij de luchtkwaliteit van Rotterdam en delen van Amsterdam nog verder verziekt (bij aangemeerd zijn moeten de motoren blijven draaien, terwijl de uitstoot daarvan vergelijkbaar is met die van een fabriek…..) Of wat dacht je van het enorme aantal vliegbewegingen boven ons land, al is Nederland daarin bepaald niet alleen (echter als Rutte stelt dat Nederland meer doet dan wie dan ook, moet het zeker genoemd worden)
De minister van Onderwijs, godbetert Arie Slob van de ‘Christen’Unie, liet weten het prima te vinden dat scholieren staken, maar dat ze dit niet op schooldagen moeten doen…… ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! NB een minister van Onderwijs die niet begrijpt dat stakingen altijd plaatsvinden onder school-, dan wel werktijd…….
De vervelende plork Remco de Boer, die consequent als energiedeskundige en zelfs als klimaatambassadeur, dan wel ‘energietransitieambassadeur’ (ha! ha! ha!) wordt afgeschilderd, had uiteraard ook commentaar en daarbij richtte hij zich tegen de 350 wetenschappers die zich achter de scholierenstaking hebben geschaard, met de opmerking dat er nog wel 1.000 en meer andere deskundigen zijn te vinden. De scholieren weten het amper waar ze het over hebben aldus de Boer…… Op die stelling had hij een ‘mooie uitzondering’: een jongen die kernenergie als de oplossing ziet voor de huidige problematiek……. Het is dan ook duidelijk dat deze ‘klimaatambassadeur’ er vooral is om de belangen van grote bedrijven te behartigen……..
* Dat ‘jezus’ vooral voor de Bond tegen Vloeken, die zich vandaag weer eens kwaad maakte over het gebruik maken van deze naam uit het grote boze sprookjesboek de bijbel….

WikiLeaks
heeft een overheidsdocument van de VS gepubliceerd, waaruit blijkt dat
de economische oorlogsvoering van de VS tegen haar onwelgevallige
landen wordt uitgevoerd met gebruikmaking van het IMF, de Wereldbank
en de Organisatie voor Economische Samenwerking en Ontwikkeling (OESO,
in het hieronder opgenomen artikel de Engelse afkorting: OECD).
Kortom
de VS gebruikt voornoemde organisaties als wapen tegen landen waar
men een verandering van regime in het belang van de VS acht, zoals bij de
economische oorlogsvoering van de VS tegen het soevereine land Venezuela……
Economische
oorlogsvoering middels eerst nog redelijk bedekte druk op bedrijven
niet langer zo’n land te bevoorraden met hun producten, zoals VS
supermarkten en farmaceuten uit de VS in (voorbeeld) Venezuela….
Door die in feite boycot ontstaat er ontevredenheid onder het volk,
waar men hoopt dat deze tot een opstand leidt, waarna het afzetten
van een regering (of president) een stuk makkelijker wordt….. Als
de opstand groot genoeg is en de reguliere westerse media volkomen onterecht moord en
brand schreeuwen, worden er officiële sancties ingesteld, waar maar
al te vaak andere westerse landen aan meewerken, zoals in het geval
van Venezuela: Canada en de EU…….
Als
zelfs een coup in dat geval niet lukt gaat de VS maar al te vaak over
tot het opzetten en regisseren van een coup, desnoods middels een
militaire inval….. (in Colombia, het buurland van Venezuela, staan
zelfs NAVO troepen klaar om in te grijpen, bovendien stuurt de VS
5.000 militairen naar buurlanden van Venezuela….)
Het
bewuste document werd eerder in 2008 gepubliceerd door WikiLeaks. Het
is dan ook duidelijk waarom de VS de opstand in Oekraïne organiseerde
(door Hillary Clinton en de CIA) die in 2013 tot de afzetting van de
democratisch gekozen president Janoekovytsj leidde, waarna de zwaar
corrupte neonazi Porosjenko werd geïnstalleerd, de gewenste kandidaat
van de VS…..
Het
voorgaande daar de VS er niet kwam middels een economische
oorlogsvoering, immers Rusland steunde Oekraïne en Janoekovytsj weigerde
zijn land in het EU (en daarmee VS/NAVO) pak te laten naaien……
Eén en
ander werpt ook meer licht op de draai die de Griekse premier Tsipras
maakte en hij zijn land in feite overgaf aan de terreurtrojka bestaande uit het IMF, de ECB en de
Europese Commissie…….. (gegarandeerd dat de VS hem tevens dreigde met een coup, immers Rusland kwam in beeld als hulp voor de Griekse bevolking)

Reveals US Military Use of IMF, World Bank as “Unconventional”
Weapons
(MPN) —
In a leaked military manual on “unconventional warfare” recently
highlighted by WikiLeaks, the U.S. Army states that major global
financial institutions — such as the World Bank, International
Monetary Fund (IMF), and the Organization for Economic Cooperation
and Development (OECD) — are used as unconventional, financial
“weapons in times of conflict up to and including large-scale
general war,” as well as in leveraging “the policies and
cooperation of state governments.”
The document,
officially titled “Field Manual (FM) 3-05.130, Army Special
Operations Forces Unconventional Warfare” and originally written in
September 2008, was recently
highlighted by
WikiLeaks on Twitter in light of recent events in Venezuela as well
as the years-long, U.S.-led economic siege of that country through
sanctions and other means of economic warfare. Though the document
has generated new interest in recent days, it had originally
been released by
WikiLeaks in December 2008 and has been described as the military’s
“regime change handbook.”
WikiLeaks’
recent tweets on the subject drew attention to a single section of
the 248-page-long document, titled “Financial Instrument of U.S.
National Power and Unconventional Warfare.” This section in
particular notes that the U.S. government applies “unilateral and
indirect financial power through persuasive influence to
international and domestic financial institutions regarding
availability and terms of loans, grants, or other financial
assistance to foreign state and nonstate actors,” and specifically
names the World Bank, IMF and The Organisation for Economic
Co-operation and Development (OECD), as well as the Bank for
International Settlements (BIS), as “U.S. diplomatic-financial
venues to accomplish” such goals.
The
manual also touts the “state manipulation of tax and interest
rates” along with other “legal and bureaucratic measures” to
“open, modify or close financial flows” and further states that
the U.S. Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) –
which oversees U.S. sanctions on other nations, like Venezuela —
“has a long history of conducting economic warfare valuable to any
ARSOF [Army Special Operations Forces] UW [Unconventional Warfare]
campaign.”
This
section of the manual goes on to note that these financial weapons
can be used by the U.S. military to create “financial incentives or
disincentives to persuade adversaries, allies and surrogates to
modify their behavior at the theater strategic, operational, and
tactical levels” and that such unconventional warfare campaigns are
highly coordinated with the State Department and the Intelligence
Community in determining “which elements of the human terrain in
UWOA [Unconventional Warfare Operations Area] are most susceptible to
financial engagement.”
The
role of these “independent” international financial institutions
as extensions of U.S. imperial power is elaborated elsewhere in the
manual and several of these institutions are described in detail in
an appendix to the manual titled “The Financial Instrument of
National Power.” Notably, the World Bank and the IMF are listed as
both Financial Instruments and Diplomatic Instruments of U.S.
National Power as well as integral parts of what the manual calls the
“current global governance system.”
Furthermore,
the manual states that the U.S. military “understand[s] that
properly integrated manipulation of economic power can and should be
a component of UW,” meaning that these weapons are a regular
feature of unconventional warfare campaigns waged by the United
States.
Another
point of interest is that these financial weapons are largely
governed by the National Security Council (NSC), which is currently
headed by John Bolton. The document notes that the NSC “has primary
responsibility for the integration of the economic and military
instruments of national power abroad.”
“Independent”
but controlled
Though
the unconventional warfare manual is notable for stating so openly
that “independent” financial institutions like the World Bank and
the IMF are essentially extensions of U.S. government power, analysts
have noted for decades that these institutions have consistently
pushed U.S. geopolitical goals abroad.
Indeed,
the myth of World Bank and IMF “independence” is quickly eroded
by merely looking at the structure and funding of each institution.
In the case of the World Bank, the institution is located in
Washington and the organization’s president has always been a U.S.
citizen chosen
directly by
the president of the United States. In the World Bank’s entire
history, the institution’s Board of Governors has never rejected
Washington’s pick.
This
past Monday, it was reported that President Donald
Trump nominated former
Bear Stearns economist David Malpass to lead the World Bank. Malpass
had famously failed to foresee the destruction of his former employer
during the 2008 financial crisis and is likely to limit World Bank
loans to China and to countries allied or allying with China, given
his well-established reputation as a China hawk.
In
addition to choosing its president, the U.S. is also the bank’s
largest shareholder,
making it the only member nation to have veto rights. Indeed, as the
leaked unconventional warfare manual notes, “As major decisions
require an 85% supermajority, the United States can block any major
changes” to World Bank policy or the services it offers.
Furthermore, the U.S. Treasury Secretary, former Goldman Sachs banker
and “foreclosure king,” Steve Mnuchin, functions as the World
Bank’s governor.
Though
the IMF is different from the World Bank in several respects, such as
its stated mission and focus, it too is largely dominated by U.S.
government influence and funding. For instance, the IMF is also based
in Washington and the U.S. is the company’s largest shareholder —
the largest by far, owning
17.46 percent of
the institution – and also pays the largest quota for the
institution’s maintenance, paying
$164 billion in
IMF financial commitments annually. Though the U.S. does not choose
the IMF’s top executive, it uses its privileged position as the
institution’s largest funder to control IMF policy by
threatening to withhold its
IMF funding if the institution does not abide by Washington’s
demands.
As
a consequence of the lopsided influence of the U.S. on these
institutions’ behavior, these organizations have used their loans
and grants to “trap” nations in debt and have imposed “structural
adjustment” programs on these debt-saddled governments that result
in the mass privatization of state assets, deregulation, and
austerity that routinely benefit foreign corporations over local
economies. Frequently, these very institutions – by pressuring
countries to
deregulate their financial sector and through corrupt
dealings with
state actors – bring about the very economic problems that they
then swoop in to “fix.”
Guaidó
hits up IMF
Given
the close relationship between the U.S. government and these
international financial institutions, it should come as little
surprise that – in Venezuela – the U.S.-backed “interim
president” Juan Guaidó – has already
requested IMF
funds, and thus IMF-controlled debt, to fund his parallel government.
This
is highly significant because it shows that top among Guaidó’s
objectives, in addition to privatizing Venezuela’s massive oil
reserves, is to again shackle the country to the U.S.-controlled debt
machine.
“Venezuela’s
previous elected socialist president, Hugo Chávez, broke ties
with the IMF and World Bank, which he noted were “dominated by US
imperialism.” Instead Venezuela and other left-wing governments in
Latin America worked together to co-found the Bank of the South,
as a counterbalance to the IMF and World Bank.”
However,
Venezuela is far from the only country in Latin America being
targeted by these financial weapons masquerading as “independent”
financial institutions. For instance, Ecuador – whose current
president has sought to bring the country back into Washington’s
good graces – has gone so far as to conduct an “audit” of its
asylum of journalist and WikiLeaks publisher Julian Assange in order
to win a
$10 billion bailout from
the IMF. Ecuador granted Assange asylum in 2012 and the U.S. has
fervently sought his extradition for still sealed charges ever since.
In
addition, last July, the U.S. threatened
Ecuador with
“punishing trade measures” if it introduced a measure at the UN
to support breastfeeding over infant formula, in a move that stunned
the international community but laid bare the willingness of the U.S.
government to use “economic weapons” against Latin American
nations.
Beyond
Ecuador, other recent targets of massive IMF and World Bank “warfare”
include Argentina, which awarded the
largest IMF bailout loan in history just
last year. That loan package was, unsurprisingly, heavily pushed by
the U.S., according to a statement from Treasury Secretary
Mnuchinreleased
last year.
Notably, the IMF was
instrumental in
causing the complete collapse of the Argentinian economy in 2001,
sending a poor omen for last year’s approval of the record loan
package.
Though
it was released over a decade ago, this “U.S. coup manual”
recently highlighted by WikiLeaks serves as a salient reminder that
the so-called “independence” of these financial institutions is
an illusion and that they are among the many “financial weapons”
regularly used by the U.S. government to bend countries to its will
and even overthrow U.S.-disfavored governments.

Een paar
dagen nadat de VS haar dreigement uitvoerde (op basis van een leugen) en uit het
INF verdrag stapte, waarop Rusland als reactie niet anders kon dan de VS
te volgen op dit heilloze pad naar WOIII, heeft de Franse luchtmacht een
oefening gehouden op het afschieten van een nucleaire kruisraket
door een straaljager….. Je hoeft niet te vragen welk land het
beoogde doel is, uiteraard Rusland……..
De VS
beweert dat Rusland nucleaire raketten heeft gefabriceerd en
geplaatst, raketten die verboden zouden zijn volgens het INF verdrag….. De
reguliere media en in dit geval de landelijke radiozenders van
Duitsland, Nederland en Groot-Brittannië berichtten triomfantelijk
dat de VS uit het INF verdrag is gestapt, een verbod op raketten met
een afstandsradius van 500 tot 5.500 kilometer, daar Rusland niet zou
hebben aangetoond dat het niet van deze raketten heeft
geproduceerd……
Niet één
keer werd het bericht gebracht dat Rusland de VS meermaals heeft
uitgenodigd voor de inspectie van die raketten, maar dat de VS dit
keer op keer heeft afgewezen, daar de bewijzen die men in het Witte Huis heeft gezien, aangeleverd door haar geheime diensten, ‘er niet om liegen….’ ‘Vreemd genoeg’
weigert de VS deze bewijzen openbaar te maken…. Niet zo vreemd overigens, daar die bewijzen er doodeenvoudig niet zijn! Bovendien hebben de
geheime diensten van de VS ‘iets te vaak’ laten zien totaal
onbetrouwbaar te zijn en er geen probleem mee hebben keihard te
liegen, zie de aanloop naar en de illegale oorlogen die de VS voerde en in een paar gevallen nog voert tegen Afghanistan, Irak, Libië en Syrië……
Het voorgaande terwijl de VS met het raketschild in Polen en Roemenië, het INF verdrag al lang en breed met voeten heeft getreden, immers die raketten kunnen precies een afstand afleggen die verboden is bij het INF verdrag…… Hoorde BNR’s Hammelburg (van het ‘beste buitenlandprogramma in Nederland’ ha! ha! ha!) van de week sputteren dat die raketten maar een zeer beperkte actieradius hebben. Nou niet dus, ze kunnen meer dan 1.200 kilometer afleggen en daarmee de meeste grote westers gelegen steden in Rusland bereiken, overbodig te zeggen dat deze raketten onder het INF verdrag vallen!! Even nog ter verduidelijking: de raketten van dit schild (zogenaamd tegen Iraanse raketten) kunnen in een mum van tijd worden uitgerust met meerdere kernkoppen, waarna ze als aanvalsraketten kunnen worden ingezet…… Het is dan ook zeker dat die kernkoppen nu al op die raketten zijn geplaatst…….
Tel bij dit alles nog eens de wil van de VS op, gedaan in het eerste jaar dat het beest Trump in het Witte Huis zat, een eerste aanval (‘first strike’) met kernraketten niet uit te sluiten……. (zelfs na een cyberaanval…..) In navolging verklaarde hare kwaadaardigheid May, de Britse premier, dat ook GB een dergelijke aanval niet uitsluit (immers als de VS en Frankrijk heeft ook GB kernwapens)
De
Franse psychopathisch neoliberale president Macron denkt
waarschijnlijk dat hij met spierballenvertoon het Franse volk weer
kan verenigen tegen ‘de gemeenschappelijke vijand’ Rusland en zo de
opstand in eigen land kan doen doodbloeden…… Het voorgaande door een nucleaire
oorlog te simuleren, waar dit ‘verenigde volk’ bij een daadwerkelijke aanval met kernwapens, zelf als eerste

French
Air Force Practices Long-Range Nuclear Strike After Collapse Of INF
Treaty
Just
days after first the United States and then Russia announced they
would abandon the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces treaty (or INF),
which for decades had kept Europe free of the threat of
intermediate-range nuclear weapons, on Monday the French Air Force
successfully conducted a nuclear strike mission, sending
aircraft on an 11-hour mission to sneak a nuclear-capable cruise
missile through simulated enemy air defenses and
nail it into the sands of a test range south of Bordeaux, Defense
News reported.
The
February 4 mission, which was billed by the Armed Forces Ministry of
the NATO member as “operation-representative,” featured a
Rafale fighter jet releasing an MBDA made ASMP-A missile. Officials
designed the drill to include “all
phases characteristic of a nuclear-dissuasion mission,”
including successive refueling by C-135 and A-330 tankers before
aiming the missile – without a nuclear warhead – at a missile test
area near the town of Biscarrosse.
“This
success reinforces the technical and operational credibility of the
deterrence that the airborne component has continuously maintained
through the Air Force since 1964,” read
an Armed Forces Ministry statement from Feb. 5.

Besides
its aerial deterrence leg – which was on full display this Monday and
supposedly meant to send a clear signal to the Kremlin even
though it was the Trump administration which started the latest
nuclear arms race by first pulling out of the INF –
the French military has submarines capable of firing nuclear-tipped
missiles.
Amusingly,
in an effort to counter the appearance of a retaliatory move aimed at
Russia which will any minute conduct its own nuclear strike test, and
so on as the new Cold War escalates in tit-for-tat fashion, the
French ministry statement stressed that the test mission had been
long planned.
“There
is no reason to believe that the timing of the test due to anything
other operational or technical reasons,” agreed Bruno Tertrais,
deputy director of the Fondation pour la Recherche Strategique think
tank in Paris, claiming such similar tests occur roughly once per
year. Surely
“The
alternative would have been to cancel the test for fear that it was
understood as response to INFT suspensions — that would have been
fairly ridiculous,” Tertrais
told Defense News, using shorthand for the 1987 Intermediate-Range
Nuclear Forces Treaty.
And
since it is “fairly ridiculous” to assume that any tactical
nuclear drills by the Kremlin conducted in the coming days would be
seen as retaliation to the suspension of the INF treaty, we fully
expect Putin to conduct one or more such tests in the very near
future, and eagerly look forward to NATO’s response.

CDA’er van Agt, tijdens zijn premierschap van Nederland een enorme
schoft, spreekt schande van het Israëlische optreden op de West Bank
en in de Gazastrook, waar de laatste een openluchtgevangenis is voor Palestijnse
gezinnen, ofwel een getto en vergelijkbaar met het getto van
Warschau tijdens WOII….. (Israëlische officieren hebben begin 90er
jaren de klok geluid over hun opleiding in het leger, waar ze les
kregen uit een SS handboek waarin o.a. wordt uitgelegd hoe je een

Onbegrijpelijk
ook dat de westerse wereld Israël niet alleen met dit soort barbaarse

situatie daar 10 keer zo erg is als die in de Palestijnse gebieden, waar

Doe
mee aan de petitie van Code Pink om 2 reisorganisaties dringend te
verzoeken geen verblijf meer aan te bieden in de illegale Israëlische
nederzettingen en geeft het ajb door, een eerdere actie gericht aan
het adres van Airbnb was succesvol en dat internet orgaan heeft deze
bestemming van haar lijst geschrapt.
“Children
here live in fear”
On
January 20, a group of armed Israeli settlers descended onto the
Palestinian village of Al Mughayir in the West Bank. They shot and
killed Hamdy Naasan, 38, a Palestinian father of four.
Thanks
to several years of organized pressure from activists, last year
Airbnb announced it would be removing settlement rentals from its
platform. Despite an ugly backlash, Airbnb is sticking to their
decision. Now it’s up to us to make sure the other travel companies
also do the right thing and end complicity with Israel’s illegal
and discriminatory settlement policy.
By
boosting the settlement tourism industry and, as a result, the
settlement economy, Booking. com, Expedia and TripAdvisor are
contributing to the maintenance, development and expansion of illegal
settlements. Their promotion of settlements as a tourist destination
normalizes and legitimizes Israeli settlements, which are considered
war crimes under international criminal law.
Continuing to do
business in these settlements remains one of the greatest obstacles
to peace.
Together,
we can end international support for the occupation and build the
movement that will help secure human rights in Palestine.

Afgelopen dinsdag haalden de ‘jongeren’ van het CDA, het CDJA het nieuws op 2 manieren, hier de eerste die mij ter ore kwam: het CDJA wil dat de rente op het (a)sociale leenstelsel voor studenten aftrekbaar wordt gemaakt op de belasting aangifte….. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!
Het CDJA geteisem durft niet te stellen dat het asociale leenstelsel geheel moet worden afgeschaft en dan komt men met deze fooi…… Door het asociaal leenstelsel gaan veel minder jongeren studeren en zoals je waarschijnlijk al begrepen had betreft het hier jongeren uit de grote arme onderlaag van onze maatschappij….. (het grote aantal buitenlandse studenten in ons land houdt de hoeveelheid studenten nog enigszins op peil) Het CDJA dient zich dan ook de ogen uit de kop te schamen dat men in aanloop van de Staten en EU verkiezingen studenten probeert te winnen voor het misdadige CDA…..
Nu wil het CDJA dat wel akkoord is met het asociale leenstelsel en de tegen de eerdere belofte in de renteregels niet te wijzigen, de (zoals gezegd: tegen de afspraak in) verhoogde rentes aftrekbaar maken……. Het is dan ook al lang duidelijk dat studenten uit welgestelde gezinnen de maximale hoeveelheid geld lenen en dit geld misbruiken voor andere zaken, zij zullen dan ook profiteren van een aftrekbare rente op die leningen…… (ofwel paps of mams profiteren daarvan)
Grote verantwoordelijke voor al deze ellende is D66, de neoliberale partij die stelt onderwijspartij te zijn en zegt te strijden voor gelijkheid in de maatschappij (ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!)…… Vergeet daarnaast in het stemhokje niet de smerige rol in deze van de VVD, het CDA (uiteraard), de PvdA, ChristenUnie, SGP en zelfs een partij als ‘GroenLinks’ (beter: AsgrauwRechts), dat vierkant achter het sociaal leenstelsel stond en staat……. (veel studenten zijn fan van jessias Klaver, maar let op studenten, je wordt door GroenLinks belazerd waar je bij staat, denk daaraan als je gaat stemmen!)
Met het sociaal leenstelsel werd de zoveelste stap gemaakt naar een klassenmaatschappij 2.0 en dat godbetert anno 2017…….
Studenten laat je niet in de luren leggen door het CDJA!
Om
ten overvloede te laten zien, wat een enorme schoft Guaidó is, je
weet wel de figuur die de VS als ‘president’ van Venezuela wil zien
en voor hem bezig is met een staatsgreep in dat land, heeft hij de VS
laten weten dat de grote oliemaatschappijen van de VS de beschikking
zullen krijgen over de Venezolaanse olievoorraad………
Daarbij

het Venezolaanse volk dat hij zo heeft verraden……. Alsof de
ploert niet weet dat de economische oorlog van de VS, de EU en een
paar Latijns-Amerikaanse staten, Venezuela naar de rand van de
afgrond hebben gebracht en velen in ellende hebben gestort……
Dan
opmerken dat de beschikking over de Venezolaanse olievoorraad (tegen
een appel en een ei) door de oliemaffia van de VS goed zou zijn voor
de bevolking is een gotspe!!! Kortom: de VS heeft Venezuela naar de
rand van faillissement gebracht en krijgt daarvoor als beloning een
giga deal ten gunste van haar oliemaffia……… (VS
oliemaatschappijen, als Halleburton en Chevron, die ook al kapitalen
verdienden aan de oorlog in Irak….*)
Uiteraard
zal Guaidó als hij daadwerkelijk de macht in handen gespeeld krijgt
door de VS, het staatsoliebedrijf de
Venezolaanse oliemaatschappij Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA),
privatiseren en oude wetgeving veranderen waarin is verordonneerd dat
de winning door buitenlandse oliemaatschappijen voor 51% tegoed komt
aan PDVSA…… Je snapt dat dit percentage niet zal worden verhoogd,
maar aanzienlijk zal worden verlaagd. alsof dat in het belang is van
het Venezolaanse volk………
Kortom
Guaidó is niet alleen door de VS geselecteerd als vervanger voor
Maduro, maar ook als stroman voor de grote oliemaatschappijen…….
Wat verder niet vergeten moet worden is dat Venezuela beschikt over
grote hoeveelheden coltan, daarvoor is afgelopen jaar zelfs een
fabriek geopend in Venezuela >> coltan is een erts dat van
groot belang is voor de vervaardiging van smartphones, ofwel twee neokoloniale vliegen in één klap……..
Nogmaals
wil ik erop wijzen dat het ronduit schandalig is dat de westerse
landen zich zo hysterisch gedragen tegen Venezuela, alsof daar een
genocide plaatsvindt….. Sterker nog: een plaatsvindende genocide in
Jemen laat datzelfde westen koud, terwijl men na Rwanda uitermate
hypocriet beloofde dat dit nooit weer zou gebeuren……**
Nee
het westen heeft alleen aandacht voor wingewest Venezuela en zal geen
traan laten als de VS en de NAVO (o.a. vanuit Colombia, waar de NAVO
2 militaire bases heeft) Venezuela aanvallen en daarbij grote
aantallen burgers vermoorden met hun dan illegale oorlog tegen
dat soevereine land……

Juan
Guaido Promises Oil Deals for US Gas Giants If He Takes Power
(GPA) – Making
the empires ambitions clear, US stooge Juan Guaidó has promised
Venezuelan oil to US corporations.
The
US-backed Venezuelan “government” of Juan Guaidó has said there
will be plenty of money to be made for Wall Street under a government
without the current President, Nicolas Maduro.
According
to reports, this offer was made during a meeting between US officials
and delegates of the Guaidó cabinet in Washington. Apparently,
Guaidó has promised that if he should take control of the actual
levers of state power in Venezuela he would end the control over
Venezuelan oil projects currently
given to the state oil
company, PDVSA.
The
current law in Venezuela states that any projects involving
Venezuelan oil that PDVSA must have, at least, a 51% stake. According
to the delegates in Washington, this is the best way to reinvigorate
Venezuelan oil production.
In
an interview following their official meetings in Washington, one
Guaidó envoy, Carlos Vecchio, explained this strategy as a part of a
broader policy “to go to an open economy.” Vecchio then went on
to say that this “openness” would be what brings the oil sector
back and reassured US speculators that “the majority of the oil
production that we want to increase will be with the private sector.”
While
this is obviously the reason backs the Guaidó “government” it is
stunning to hear it so openly. Vecchio was just as brazen when asked
about whether PDVSA’s North American subsidiary, Citgo would go
bankrupt or not.
Vecchio
explained that Guaidó “wants to keep the operation running”
which likely reflects on recent moves by Guaidó and his cheerleaders
to try to hand
control of Citgo’s US
assets and profits to the fraudulent president. This has been a
common measure proposed by many analysts to try to create a slightly
less-illegal-looking way to steal Venezuelan money.
Yet
now that we have confirmation that Guaidó does, in fact, intend to
immediately begin selling off rights to Venezuela’s resources if he
should ever get power, we know exactly where Citgo’s profits will
go in the future. Guaidó may desperately want to control some Citgo
and PDVSA assets for now, but he is also all too willing to sell them
to Wall Street should he get the chance.
This
idea that selling off PDVSA to companies like Exxon – one of the
oil giants kicked out of Venezuela by Hugo Chavez – will somehow
make things better for average citizens of the country, is obviously
ridiculous. Beyond the sheer stupidity and obvious theft, however,
this narrative put forth by Guaidó and the US media totally
whitewashes what is, for all intents and purposes, a US
economic blockade of
Venezuela and the host of sanction on the nation’s oil industry.
This
pattern of abusive sanctions on Venezuelan oil production has carried
on for years and continues to be a regular tactic imperial powers use
on Venezuela. The Trump regime just enacted their own new sanctions
in this vein last week, strictly restricting the export of oil, which
is expected to further harm
the Venezuelan economy and
people.
All
of this lays bare just what the US is doing to Venezuela. Washington
has no real concern of the average people actually being hurt in
Venezuela. Instead, Washington is out to rip whatever resources it
can away from the Venezuelan people.
The
oil coming out of the ground in Venezuela could easily be in the
global market right now if it weren’t for Washington’s meddling.
If that oil was on the market, the Bolivarian government would likely
return to deploying the policies they’ve always championed like
public housing, subsidized medicine, price controls, health care, and
other social welfare programs. Looking at it this way, it becomes
obvious the only people holding the Venezuelan people back is the
same people promising freedom, the opposition’s supposed “friends
in Washington”
