De
wereld weer eens op de kop: het Britse bedrijf Reckitt Benckiser (RB)
heeft een schikking getroffen van 1,4 miljard dollar met het
‘openbaar ministerie’ in de VS. Het gaat hierbij om de leugen die een
divisie van RB, te weten Indivior, heeft gebruikt om het aantal
orders te vergroten….
Het gaat hierbij om de pijnstiller Suboxone, waarover het bedrijf stelde dat
deze niet verslavend is, als vergelijkbare pijnstillers van
concurrenten, een leugen van gigantische proporties…… (verslaving
aan dat soort middelen is allesbehalve een pretje….)
Voor 1,4
miljard dollar koopt RB verder onderzoek af en onbeschoft genoeg
durft de top van RB simpelweg te stellen niet schuldig te zijn…… Dit is een
vorm van klassenjustitie die te schunnig is voor woorden, hoeveel
mensen verslaafd zijn geraakt aan Suboxone is niet bekend, maar reken
gerust dat het hier snel om een miljoen of meer mensen gaat…… RB kan op kritiek nu simpelweg stellen dat er niet bewezen is dat het bedrijf zwaar heeft gefraudeerd………..
Eén
kleine tegenvaller voor RB: het bedrijf dat ook Durex condooms en
Dettol zeep verkoopt, had 400 miljoen uitgetrokken voor de schikking,
die is dus een miljard hoger uitgevallen, maar alsnog ‘peanuts’ voor
een bedrijf als RB…….

(AFN) – RB, beter bekend als Reckitt Benckiser, heeft een schikking
van 1,4 miljard dollar getroffen met justitie in de Verenigde Staten.
Een voormalige farmadivisie van het Britse concern wordt ervan
beschuldigd gezondheidszorgorganisaties te hebben misleid over een
middel tegen pijnstillerverslaving. Reckitt Benckiser, dat ontkent
schuldig te zijn, koopt met de boete verder onderzoek naar de zaak
af.
Het
onderzoek draait om de voormalige dochteronderneming Indivior, die de
Amerikaanse autoriteiten ook in het vizier hebben. Het bedrijf zou
het aantal recepten voor het medicijn Suboxone illegaal hebben
opgedreven door te liegen dat het middel veiliger is dan dat van
concurrenten. De vermeende fraude zou al hebben plaatsgevonden voor
de afsplitsing van Indivior in 2014.
De
boete voor Reckitt Benckiser is aanzienlijk hoger dan de voorziening
die het bedrijf had genomen voor de kwestie. De maker van onder
andere Durex-condooms en Dettol-zeep had 400 miljoen dollar opzij
gelegd.

Niet vreemd dus dat de voornoemde politici aan de bel trekken, waar zij stellen dat Trump de vluchtelingen die de VS willen bereiken, wel heeft uitgeroepen tot noodtoestand (waarbij hij hen afschildert als misdadigers…) en de ogen sluit voor de klimaatramp die zich voor zijn ogen (en de rest van zijn administratie) voltrekt.
Uiteraard is het afroepen van de noodtoestand over vluchtelingenstromen door Trump te belachelijk voor woorden*, waar Trump en zijn administratie keer op keer durven te stellen dat de klimaatverandering een leugen is van linkse krachten….. Dit terwijl zoals gezegd de gevolgen van de klimaatverandering al velen in de VS in diepe ellende hebben gestort en deze verhevigde natuurrampen het volk van de VS al honderden miljarden dollars aan belastinggeld hebben gekost…..
De VS wordt in feite deels bestuurd door het bedrijfsleven, inclusief de oliemaffia, waar de grote bedrijven op z’n zachtst gezegd grote moeite hebben met maatregelen die de klimaatverandering nog enigszins kunnen afremmen, daar hun winsten daar onder zullen leiden en zelfs zouden kunnen leiden tot het sluiten van hele bedrijfstakken die niet anders doen dan de klimaatverandering aanjagen…….

The havoc that will soon be wrought by climate change is unfathomable. It’s a crisis — one which Reps. Earl Blumenauer, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Sen. Bernie Sanders demanded yesterday the US government recognize. It’s a needed step towards winning a Green New Deal.
To justify his administration’s barbaric actions at the Southern border, Donald Trump is using the language of crisis. In May 2019, a scaremongering statement from the White House declared that the United States “has been invaded by hundreds of thousands of people coming through Mexico.” This “sustained influx of illegal aliens” is “overwhelming our schools, overcrowding our hospitals, draining our welfare system, and causing untold amounts of crime,” the administration said.
This, of course, is bullshit.
The United States is currently seeing a net outflow of undocumented immigrants. And even if we weren’t, these people have a right to migrate in order to create a life free from wanton violence and economic devastation — chaos largely created by the United States.
Immigrants do not “overwhelm” us; they are us, and their presence in this country does not constitute a crisis. Their abuse at the hands of our government, however, absolutely does.
The Trump administration recently invoked the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) to justify its inhumane treatment of immigrants on US soil. This struck Rep. Earl Blumenauer of Oregon as unjustifiably hypocritical. What if we used the language of crisis to instead describe an actual mass emergency: the looming threat of climate disaster, which the Trump administration categorically neglects and which, unlike the presence of undocumented immigrants, requires drastic and immediate political action in order to ensure public safety?
Blumenauer has teamed up with Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to propose legislation declaring global warming a national and international emergency.
The resolution was submitted to the House of Representatives on Tuesday. In order to address the crisis at hand, it calls for “a national, social, industrial, and economic mobilization of the resources and labor of the United States at a massive-scale to halt, reverse, mitigate, and prepare for the consequences of the climate emergency and to restore the climate for future generations.”
The legislation may have been inspired by Trump’s duplicity, but the idea did not spring fully formed from Blumenauer’s mind. It is a response to climate activists, who have been increasingly demanding that national, state, and local governments around the world declare the climate crisis an emergency.
In April, the new group Extinction Rebellion occupied central London for ten days. “The science is clear: It is understood that we are facing an unprecedented global emergency,” says the group. “We are in a life or death situation of our own making. We must act now.” Extinction Rebellion’s first demand is that governments “must tell the truth by declaring a climate and ecological emergency, working with other institutions to communicate the urgency for change.”
Declarations of emergency are also the most urgent demand of The Climate Mobilization, a US-based climate activist group waging a campaign to pressure governments to sign on. The group states that “declaring Climate Emergency is the critical first step to launching the comprehensive mobilization solution required to rescue and rebuild civilization.”
In response to the Extinction Rebellion protests, the United Kingdom House of Commons declared emergency in May. Similar declarations around the world are pouring in. To date, climate emergency has been declared by 740 jurisdictions globally, one of which is New York City, which declared emergency in June. Los Angeles appears set to follow suit. The joint resolution proposed by Blumenauer, Ocasio-Cortez, and Sanders would make the United States the seventeenth and largest nation to heed the crisis declaration call from climate activists.
It remains to be seen whether the US federal climate emergency resolution has the support needed to pass into law. The United States government sustains intimate ties with the fossil fuel industry, ties that have so far prevented political representatives from touching anything that opens the door, as this resolution does, to a national mobilization to cease fossil fuel extraction and transition to a zero-emissions economy. Even though the resolution is nonbinding, it clearly gestures toward the implementation of a Green New Deal (GND) which, as envisioned by Ocasio-Cortez and Sanders, would spell the end of the fossil fuel era.
There’s another reason legislators may be hesitant, despite clear evidence that we are indeed facing a climate emergency, to vote for a bill that paves the way for a Green New Deal. The GND isn’t just about saving the planet: it’s about doing so in a way that builds the power of working people and erodes inequality, on the basis that the current capitalist system brought us to the brink of destruction to begin with.
To this end, the GND would create millions of green jobs, and insists that they come with “a family-sustaining wage, adequate family and medical leave, paid vacations, and retirement security to all people of the United States.”
American politicians aren’t just beholden to the fossil fuel industry; they’re beholden to the capitalist class writ large. Reducing unemployment and building worker power — including providing universal healthcare, education, and housing, also outlined in the GND — makes exploitation harder, which means profits for the few will sink even as living standards for the many improve. There’s no doubt that the GND will face tremendous pushback in the halls of power, and that pushback may begin with shooting down this declaration.
The best shot we have at muscling this bill through is to raise hell in the streets. It’s sound politics: when the people in power don’t want to budge, the majority must create pressure from the outside to force their hand. It’s no easy task. But if people fight hard enough, we might be able to get the United States — the biggest carbon polluter in world history — to formally acknowledge the real crisis at hand.

Volgens de Britse regering is dit vanwege de voorliefde van deze 2 mediaorganen voor het verspreiden van desinformatie…… Uiteraard worden er geen voorbeelden gegeven, terwijl de wel uitgenodigde reguliere mediaorganen al jaren bol staan van nepnieuws (fake news), leugens en andere desinformatie, neem alleen al de verslaggeving over de illegale VS oorlogen tegen Afghanistan, Irak, Libië en Syrië…….
Trouwens het feit dat een regering een conferentie belegt over persvrijheid is wat mij betreft een gotspe. Dezelfde regering die de BBC subsidieert en daarvoor wordt beloond door de BBC met inhumane neoliberale propaganda voor de zittende regering, waar men alle leugens van overheid en geheime diensten overneemt als was het ‘de weg de waarheid en het leven…’ Uiteraard zal de BBC een prominente rol spelen in de conferentie, waar deze afhankelijke zendgemachtigde bewezen hele bergen fake news en desinformatie heeft gebracht….. Gisteravond werd in het BBC programma Panorama Labour afgeschilderd als een antisemitisme partij….. Terwijl de paar klagende Joodse Labourleden vooral zijn gevallen over de kritiek van Labour op het uiterst bloedige, fascistische apartheidsbeleid van Israël, waar deze Labour leden deze kritiek eerder afschilderden als antisemitisme en daarop terecht werden aangesproken door de top van Labour……. Ook in series en andere documentaires brengt de BBC onvervalste propaganda voor de illegale oorlogen van de VS en voor het smerige moorddadige Israëlische beleid tegen het verdrukte Palestijnse volk, zaken die politiek* worden gesteund door de Britse regering….. Werkelijk de grofste leugens worden als waarheid gebracht in deze walgelijke propaganda……. Russia’s RT banned from UK media freedom conference
The UK Foreign Office bans two Russian news agencies, accusing them of spreading misinformation.

The BBC’s report on this story hilariously contains a brazenly propagandistic video titled “What’s so different about Russia Today?” which carefully explains why it’s very important for the BBC’s audience to understand that RT is propaganda.
“They want to be an alternative view, which in fact is the propaganda machine of, and is paid for by, the Kremlin,” says the video by the BBC, a government-funded news station with an established history of collaboration with British intelligence to deplatform dissenting voices.
“The BBC tries to cover all the angles of the story, including those that wouldn’t be pleasant to the UK government,” the BBC video claims. “RT always picks up pundits, questions, issues, angles that show the Kremlin and the Russian government in a positive way.”
In reality, the BBC is very much guilty of enforcing what British journalist Jonathan Cook recently described as the “narrow manufactured consensus of supposedly rational policy – neoliberal orthodoxy at home, and neoconservative warmongering abroad.” Like all other mainstream British media, the BBC works to shrink the Overton window of acceptable debate and propagandize British citizens into arguing over how existing power structures should be aided and maintained instead of whether those power structures should exist at all. For the BBC to pretend that it is in any way superior to RT on any level is laughable.
But the BBC will certainly be in attendance at the Global Conference on Media Freedom, welcomed with open arms by the British government it only half-pretends to have an oppositional relationship with.’
This would be the same British government that is currently holding journalist Julian Assange behind bars pending a US extradition hearing for exposing American war crimes. The same British government who UN Special Rapporteur on Torture Nils Melzer found guilty of participating in the psychological torture of that same journalist. The same Foreign Office whose head, Jeremy Hunt, told Face the Nation last month that he will allow Assange to be extradited to the US if he succeeds in his bid to become the next Prime Minister, after explicitly and repeatedly condemning the persecution of dissident journalists in other nations.
You won’t see any of this ridiculous, jaw-dropping hypocrisy called out by the BBC, nor by any other mainstream outlet in the uniquely spineless and sycophantic British media. Do you know where you will see this hypocrisy being criticized? RT.
The only reason RT and Sputnik exist with any degree of popularity in the west is because, contrary to what the BBC claims, people are unable to hear any voices that are critical of real power from western mainstream media. If the BBC or any other British outlet were to begin platforming actual anti-war, leftist and anti-establishment voices with any degree of regularity, I can guarantee you with 100 percent certainty that RT and Sputnik would immediately lose their UK audiences.
But that never happens, because British mass media does not “cover all the angles of the story, including those that wouldn’t be pleasant to the UK government” as the BBC claims, it publishes propaganda which directly benefits the underlying power structures of the UK government. Jeremy Hunt longs for the days when a country could peacefully propagandize its citizens without this pesky problem of propaganda from other countries seeping into the mix and forcing everyone to think for themselves. We have been experiencing a brief but wonderful period where the internet has opened up rivers of information from all sorts of perspectives, but we will need to fight to keep those rivers flowing. Invisible censorship has already begun in earnest, and it’s at these conferences where they dream up even more insidious ways to throttle dissident voices.

Volgens
de Britse regering is dit vanwege de voorliefde van deze 2
mediaorganen voor het verspreiden van desinformatie…… Uiteraard
worden er geen voorbeelden gegeven, terwijl de wel uitgenodigde
reguliere mediaorganen al jaren bol staan van nepnieuws (fake news), leugens en
andere desinformatie, neem alleen al de verslaggeving over de
illegale VS oorlogen tegen Afghanistan, Irak, Libië en Syrië…….
Trouwens
het feit dat een regering een conferentie belegt over persvrijheid is
wat mij betreft een gotspe. Dezelfde regering die de BBC subsidieert en daarvoor wordt beloond door de BBC met inhumane neoliberale propaganda voor de zittende regering, waar men alle leugens van overheid en geheime diensten overneemt als was het ‘de weg de waarheid en het leven…’ Uiteraard zal de BBC een prominente rol spelen in de conferentie, waar deze afhankelijke zendgemachtigde bewezen hele bergen fake news en desinformatie heeft gebracht…..
Gisteravond werd in het BBC programma Panorama Labour afgeschilderd als een antisemitisme partij….. Terwijl de paar klagende Joodse Labourleden vooral zijn gevallen over de kritiek van Labour op het uiterst bloedige, fascistische apartheidsbeleid van Israël, waar deze Labour leden deze kritiek eerder afschilderden als antisemitisme en daarop terecht werden aangesproken door de top van Labour…….
Ook in series en andere documentaires brengt de BBC onvervalste propaganda voor de illegale oorlogen van de VS en voor het smerige moorddadige Israëlische beleid tegen het verdrukte Palestijnse volk, zaken die politiek* worden gesteund door de Britse regering….. Werkelijk de grofste leugens worden als waarheid gebracht in deze walgelijke propaganda…….

to shrink the Overton window of acceptable debate and propagandize
British citizens into arguing over how existing
power structures should be aided and maintained instead
of whether those
power structures should exist at all. For the BBC to pretend that it
is in any way superior to RT on any level is laughable.
But the BBC will
certainly be in attendance at the Global Conference on Media Freedom,
welcomed with open arms by the British government it only
half-pretends to have an oppositional relationship with.’
This
would be the same British government that is currently holding
journalist Julian Assange behind bars pending a US extradition
hearing for exposing American war crimes. The same British government
who UN Special Rapporteur on Torture Nils Melzer found
guilty of participating in
the psychological torture of that same journalist. The same
Foreign Office whose head, Jeremy Hunt, told Face
the Nation last
month that
he will allow Assange to be extradited to the US if he succeeds in
his bid to become the next Prime Minister,
after explicitly and repeatedly condemning
the persecution of dissident journalists in other nations.
You
won’t see any of this ridiculous, jaw-dropping hypocrisy called out
by the BBC, nor by any other mainstream outlet in the uniquely
spineless and sycophantic British media. Do you know where you will
see this hypocrisy being criticized? RT.
The only reason RT and
Sputnik exist with any degree of popularity in the west is because,
contrary to what the BBC claims, people are unable to hear any voices
that are critical of real power from western mainstream media. If the
BBC or any other British outlet were to begin platforming actual
anti-war, leftist and anti-establishment voices with any degree of
regularity, I can guarantee you with 100 percent certainty that RT
and Sputnik would immediately lose their UK audiences.
But that never happens,
because British mass media does not “cover all the angles of the

Valt me nog mee dat de geheime diensten in de VS niet hebben gewaarschuwd voor Chinese chips in bijbels, zodat de Chinese overheid ook de spiritualiteit in het westen kan bespioneren. Van dat punt uit gezien is het van Trump wel uiterst hypocriet dat hij geen extra tarieven heft op bijbels uit China…… Daarover gesproken en zoals je in de kop al kon lezen: de bijbeldrukkers zijn bang dat Trump ook op de bijbels uit China verhoogde tarieven zal leggen, vandaar dat zij een paar dagen geleden aan de Witte Huisbel trokken……. Ofwel: de bijbelproducenten zijn bang dat de winsten zullen dalen…….
Het is Trump werkelijk geheel en al in de psychopathische vrouwonvriendelijke rotbol geslagen, de knurft zou Iran, nadat het een VS drone uit de lucht haalde in eigen luchtruim, om een paar plekken te mogen bombarderen, plekken die van geen belang zijn, aldus Elijah Magnier….. The British ambassador to the U.S., who’s briefings to London leaked yesterday, agrees with that take:
[Sir Kim Darroch] questioned Trump’s recent claim that he aborted a missile strike on Iran because it would have caused a predicted 150 casualties, saying it ‘doesn’t stand up’.
‘It’s more likely that he was never fully on board and that he was worried about how this apparent reversal of his 2016 campaign promises would look come 2020′ – at the next Presidential election.
Elijah Magnier reported that Trump had asked Iran to allow him to strike back, but was rebuffed:
According to well-informed sources, Iran rejected a proposal by US intelligence – made via a third party – that Trump be allowed to bomb one, two or three clear objectives, to be chosen by Iran, so that both countries could appear to come out as winners and Trump could save face. Iran categorically rejected the offer and sent its reply: even an attack against an empty sandy beach in Iran would trigger a missile launch against US objectives in the Gulf.
An Iranian general yesterday confirmed Magnier’s take (also here):
A senior Iranian general has revealed that Washington, through diplomatic channels, recently asked Tehran to allow it to conduct a small-scale operation in the Iranian airspace in order to save its face following the IRGC’s shoot-down of a US spy drone.
Brigadier General Gholam Reza Jalali, the Head of Iran’s Civil Defence Organization, said Iran vehemently rejected the US request, saying that it will respond to any act of aggression.
“The Islamic Republic of Iran responded that it views any operation as a war and will give a crushing response to it. You may initiate a war but this is Iran which will finish it,” he said Sunday.
The idea that the U.S. would ask Iran to allow it to bomb some targets without hitting back sounds crazy.

But this is the Trump White House and the only thing Trump really seems to care for is his own rating.
Trump wants a new nuclear deal with Iran. One with his signature, not Obama’s, on it.
Trump’s nuking of a deal while pressing for a new one shows that he has not the slightest idea how Iran, or any other independent country, reacts to such pressure. There will be no talks unless Trump rejoins the deal and lifts the sanctions:
The US sent over 60 diplomatic delegations to Iran as mediators to hold talks with Iran but the leader of the Islamic Revolution rejected the US calls for talks and Iran began to scale back its commitments under the JCPOA.
The Trump administration seems to have genuinely thought that Iran would not react to its ever tightening sanctions by exceeding the technical limits of the nuclear deal, which it now does. Back in November Secretary of State Pompeo opinedthat Iran would not do this:
Asked what the administration would do if the Iranians restart their nuclear program, Pompeo replied, “We’re confident that Iranians will not make that decision.”
That was of course nonsensical. Why was Iran expected to stick to a deal it does not benefit from? Such wishful thinking has no base in reality:
A U.S. official familiar with the issue told POLITICO on Sunday that the Trump team hopes for three things: that Europe imposes some sanctions on Iran to keep it from further violating the deal; that a financial mechanism the Europeans have set up to help Iran obtain non-sanctioned goods succeeds; and that recent U.S. military maneuvers in the Middle East are enough to deter Iran from further military escalation.
“Fundamentally, we want them to stay in the deal,” the U.S. official said, when asked why the Trump administration wants the European financial mechanism, known as INSTEX, to work. There’s no desire to engage in an all-out war with Iran or see it build a nuclear weapon, the official said.
Europe is for now unlikely to impose sanctions on Iran for a deal that Trump broke. If it does, the whole JCPOA deal is off. INSTEX is a joke. It ‘allows’ Iran to barter only something other than oil, and only against humanitarian goods which are not under sanctions. It is worse than the 1990s oil for food program that caused major economic destruction in Iraq. Iran does not fear U.S. military might. U.S. military assets in the Middle East do not deter. They are targets. Iran knows that Trump wants to avoid a war.
The little thought out U.S. policy gives Iran escalation dominance. It can and will increase its nuclear activities, as it announced, every 60 days. Tankers and other interests of its enemies around the Gulf will receive more damage. Trump will come under ever increasing pressure. Iran’s actions, like the sabotage of some ships near Fujairah, already show results:
[D]emand for ship fuel at Fujairah, the United Arab Emirates coastal shipping hub close to the Strait, has waned as some tankers stay away, traders involved in the regional market said.
The British ambassador expects no change in the confused White House policy on Iran:
One memo, sent by Sir Kim on June 22, refers to ‘incoherent, chaotic’ US-Iran policy, adding: ‘Its unlikely that US policy on Iran is going to become more coherent any time soon. This is a divided Administration’.
But the British policy on Iran is no better. On one side it is a signatory of the nuclear deal with Iran and claims that it wants to uphold it. On the other side it follows orders from the White House and hijacks a tanker that carries Iranian oil which it claims is going to Syria. Britain has absolutely no legal basis to do such. Even the former Swedish prime minister and rumored CIA asset Carl Bildt finds that behavior too crude:
The legalities of the UK seizure of a tanker heading for Syria with oil from Iran intrigues me. One refers to EU sanctions against Syria, but Iran is not a member of EU. And EU as a principle doesn’t impose its sanctions on others. That’s what the US does.
Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi called the British act “robbery” and said that the ship was not heading to Syria. Its real destination is said to be “a new southern European customer” for Iranian oil, probably Italy. Iran’s Defense Minister Brigadier-General Amir Hatami promised to respond to the British act of piracy.
As usual the response will be asymmetrical and will come at a time and place of Iran’s choosing.

only something other than oil, and only against humanitarian goods
which are not under sanctions. It is worse than the 1990s oil for
food program that caused major economic destruction in Iraq. Iran
does not fear U.S. military might. U.S. military assets in the Middle
East do not deter. They are targets. Iran knows that Trump wants to
avoid a war.
The
little thought out U.S. policy gives Iran escalation dominance. It
can and will increase its nuclear activities, as it announced, every
60 days. Tankers and other interests of its enemies around the Gulf
will receive more damage. Trump will come under ever increasing
pressure. Iran’s actions, like the sabotage of some ships near
Fujairah, already show results:

for ship fuel at Fujairah, the United Arab Emirates coastal shipping
hub close to the Strait, has waned as some tankers stay away, traders
involved in the regional market said.
The
British ambassador expects
no change in
the confused White House policy on Iran:
One
memo, sent by Sir Kim on June 22, refers to ‘incoherent, chaotic’
US-Iran policy, adding: ‘Its unlikely that US policy on Iran is going
to become more coherent any time soon. This is a divided
Administration’.
But
the British policy on Iran is no better. On one side it is a
signatory of the nuclear deal with Iran and claims that it wants to
uphold it. On the other side it follows orders from the White House
and hijacks
a tanker that
carries Iranian oil which it claims is going to Syria. Britain has
absolutely no
legal basis to
do such. Even the former Swedish prime minister and rumored CIA asset
Carl Bildt finds that behavior too crude:
The
legalities of the UK seizure of a tanker heading for Syria with oil
from Iran intrigues me. One refers to EU sanctions against Syria, but
Iran is not a member of EU. And EU as a principle doesn’t impose
its sanctions on others. That’s what the US does.
Iran’s
Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi called the
British act “robbery” and said that the ship was not
heading to Syria. Its real destination is said
to be “a
new southern European customer” for Iranian oil, probably Italy.
Iran’s Defense Minister Brigadier-General Amir Hatami promised to
respond to the British act of piracy.
As
usual the response will be asymmetrical and will come at a time and
place of Iran’s choosing.

Het is volgens de rechter genoeg als je via internet je beklag kan doen……. De ‘Europese rechter’ ofwel de EU rechter, ‘begrijpt blijkbaar niet’ dat nog steeds een fiks deel van de EU bevolking digibeet is, bovendien zitten een aantal klachtenformulieren van bedrijven ingewikkeld in elkaar, waardoor mensen niet zelden de moed in de schoenen zakt en ze het er verder maar bij laten zitten…… Het is duidelijk: ook de ‘Europese rechter’ zit er voor dit soort zaken vooral voor de (grote) bedrijven….. Dit belooft nog wat als de EU het voor elkaar krijgt dat Trump het TTIP verdrag tekent, een vrijhandelsverdrag dat o.a. voorziet in een geheime rechtbank (ISDS) waar bedrijven landen kunnen aanklagen voor het weigeren van hun producten, bijvoorbeeld als de voedselveiligheid in gevaar komt….. De praktijk laat zien dat de bedrijven vrijwel altijd aan het langste eind trekken, ten koste van de consument…….. Tel dit alles nog eens op bij het steeds verder blokkeren van de rechtsgang in een aantal EU-lidstaten (zoals in Nederland) voor armere EU burgers en je begrijpt dat deze mensen niets meer te vertellen hebben, zeg maar zoals het er in de VS aan toegaat…… De EU is er voor bedrijven en welgestelden en tegen de belangen van de gewone (‘hard werkende’) burgers…….. Nogmaals: NEXIT NU! (althans zo snel mogelijk)
