Dagelijks worden we in Nederland (en de rest van het westen) met fikse superlatieven voorgelogen dat Syrië verantwoordelijk is voor de gifgasaanval in Douma, terwijl daar nog steeds geen bewijs voor is geleverd, sterker nog: de illegale aanval tegen Syrische doelen door de VS, GB en Frankrijk van afgelopen vrijdag op zaterdagnacht, een wraakactie voor die gifgasaanval, werd NB uitgevoerd op de dag voordat de internationale onderzoekscommissie van de OPCW haar werk zou starten in Syrië……..
Volgens wapeninspecteurs van de VN beschikt Syrië al jaren niet meer over chemische wapens, noch zou het land beschikken over faciliteiten om chemische wapens te ontwikkelen of te produceren…….. Toch zou volgens de misdadige coalitie o.l.v. de VS, een opslagplaats voor chemische wapens zijn getroffen en zou een wetenschappelijk onderzoekscentrum plat zijn gegooid, een centrum waar men chemische wapens zou produceren……
Wat betreft het laatste doel: werknemers van dit onderzoekscentrum stellen dat het gaat om een farmaceutisch bedrijf dat medicijnen produceert…….. Dat is toch echt iets anders dan chemische wapens ontwikkelen…… Ook het andere doel was geen opslagplaats voor chemische wapens, maar voor ‘normale wapens…’
De schrijver van het hieronder opgenomen artikel, Whitney Webb haalt voorts ‘de getuigen’ van de gifgasaanval aan: de White Helmets, een in feite door GB opgetuigde groep (betaald door GB, de VS, Japan en… Nederland!) die zogenaamd hulp verleent, maar intussen al een aantal keren door de mand is gevallen. Zo is aangetoond dat deze W.H. Hebben meegewerkt aan executies door ‘gematigde rebellen’ en heeft de organisatie meerdere keren beeldmateriaal gebruikt, die niet eens in Syrië werd opgenomen…… Zoals je hiervoor al kon lezen: het is bekend dat deze White Helmets samenwerken met Al Qaida Syrië en nog een paar terreurgroepen, waaronder Jaysh al-Islam…….
Voorts is meermaals aangetoond dat de vermeende gifgasaanvallen, die door de White Helmets aan het Syrische leger werden toegeschreven, in werkelijkheid zijn gepleegd door deze zogenaamde gematigde rebellen……. Je kan daarvoor zelfs de White Helmets schuld aanrekenen, immers zij waren op de hoogte van aanstaande gifgasaanvallen, maar hebben de bevolking nooit gewaarschuwd……. ‘Bijzonder vreemd ook’, dat nooit 1 lid van deze organisatie is omgekomen door gifgas, terwijl men wel altijd ter plaatse was…………
De White Helmets worden overigens gefinancierd door de VS, Groot-Brittannië, Japan en…… Nederland! (dat laatste staat niet in het artikel van Webb, maar is wel een feit!) In maart onderschepte het reguliere Syrische leger een wapenleverantie voor terreurgroep Jaysh al-Islam, die het gebied in Oost-Ghouta in handen had, onder de wapens vond men ook gifgas……..
Zoals eerder gemeld op deze plek (wat niet in het artikel van Webb terugkomt): waarom zou het Syrische leger een gifgasaanval uitvoeren, terwijl het de strijd in feite al had gewonnen…??? Daarnaast is het zoals gezegd bekend dat het Syrische leger niet over gifgas beschikt, terwijl het een feit is dat de ‘gematigde rebellen’ wel beschikken over voorraden gifgas…….. (waarmee het westen geen probleem heeft…..)
Russia Accuses UK of Masterminding Gas Attack in Syria and Claims to Have Proof
(TIM) — Hours before the United States, the UK, and France carried out “limited” strikes last Saturday morning, the Russian military presentedwhat it claimed to be proof that the chemical weapons attack used as the pretext for those strikes was staged at the behest of the UK government.

During a Friday briefing, the Russian Defense Ministry showed interviews with medical professionals reported to work in the only functional hospital in Douma – the suburb of the Syrian capital Damascus where the attacks are said to have taken place. In their testimony, the two men asserted that the footage of the alleged chemical attack was taken after a Syrian air strike occurred and that the affected people shown in the video were suffering from smoke poisoning. They stated that a false claim of chemical weapons use was then circulated, leading concerned family members to douse those affected with water. The Russian military then asserted that the White Helmets, the foreign-funded “humanitarian” group active in Syria, were pressured by the UK government to “speed up” a provocation that they had been preparing in order to push for Western intervention.
British UN Ambassador Karen Pierce called the allegations “grotesque,” “a blatant lie” and “the worst piece of fake news we’ve yet seen from the Russian propaganda machine.”
The main group that has provided footage and evidence purporting to show the chemical weapons attack in Douma are the White Helmets. Syria’s White Helmets, while they have largely been portrayed in Western media as a humanitarian first responder group, were actually founded in Turkey in 2013 by a British mercenary named James Le Mesurier. Le Mesurier is a former officer in the British military and also formerly worked for British intelligence. He eventually left his work with the British government to join with the Olive Group before it merged with Blackwater-Academi to become Constellis Holdings. He then worked in Abu Dhabi before moving to Turkey and founding the White Helmets.
To found the group, Le Mesurier raised $300,000 in seed funding provided by the UK, the U.S. and Japan, according to journalist Vanessa Beeley. Since its founding, the White Helmets have received over $123 million from 2013 to 2016 from the U.S. and UK governments, as well as Western NGOs and Gulf state monarchies. In addition, during the past five years, the White Helmets have been instrumental in blaming the Syrian government for any and all chemical weapons attacks in Syria, acting as both witnesses and responders to events that were later reported to be the work of the armed opposition in Syria or staged.
In Mid-March, the Syrian Arab Army intercepted a truck containing weapons and ammunition destined for the militant rebel groups in the area where the chemical weapons attack is said to have occurred. Among the items found were canisters apparently containing smoke grenades made in Salisbury, England – where the UK government has a chemical weapons laboratory.
Regardless of what information emerges from Douma regarding the alleged chemical weapons attack, the UK and its allies have already unilaterally attacked Syria even though they have admitted that they have no evidence that the attack even took place, beyond social media posts and YouTube videos created by controversial groups with ties to U.K. intelligence.
Al meer dan een maand geleden werd bekend gemaakt dat in het Syrische gebied Oost-Ghouta waar o.a. de stad Douma ligt, de ‘gematigde rebellen’ (psychopathische moordenaars die beschikken over gifgas, zoals bekend in het westen…..*) bezig waren met de voorbereiding van een gifgasaanval en dat er i.d.d. een grote hoeveelheid chlorine werd opgeslagen (zie o.a. de eerste links opgenomen onder het artikel van Anti-Media)……..
Het is dan ook volkomen duidelijk dat het bij de gifgasaanval op Douma om de zoveelste ‘false flag’ operatie gaat. Tot nu toe zijn alle gifgasaanvallen in Syrië, die sinds de strijd daar begon en die onafhankelijk werden onderzocht, toegeschreven aan de ‘gematigde rebellen….’ Ondanks deze kennis blijft men volhouden dat Assad de schuldige is, zoals de grote gifgasaanval van 2013, die naderhand door de VN aan de ‘gematigde rebellen’ werd toegeschreven……. (nog steeds wordt niet alleen in de politiek, maar zelfs in de media volgehouden dat dit een gifgasaanval was, die werd gepleegd door het Assad regime…….. En maar lullen over ‘fake news……’)
Ongelofelijk dat men gisteren ‘al wist wie de schuldige is’, Donald ‘Joker’ Trump had maar een half woord nodig om tekeer te gaan tegen Assad……. Benieuwd of hij daar de dagen ervoor al op had geoefend, immers deze aanval is minstens met medeweten van de VS gepleegd……..
Als één van de betrouwbare bronnen werden uiteraard de White Helmets genoemd, een steungroep voor Al Qaida en andere terreurgroepen in Syrië……. Ondanks dat er voldoende bewijs is voor het zich schuldig maken aan terreur door de White Helmets, plus de verdere steun van deze zogenaamde humanitaire hulporganisatie voor de terreurgroepen, o.a door als spreekbuis te dienen voor deze terroristen (die vreselijke misdaden hebben begaan in Syrië), blijven westerse politici en de reguliere westerse media deze groep als een ‘humanitaire hulporganisatie’ zien…….
Tja, als eerste moet je je altijd afvragen bij dergelijke aanvallen, wie heeft er het meest baat bij, daarna is de vraag ‘waarom’ meestal heel makkelijk te beantwoorden, waarbij alleen nog het wachten is op de bevestiging van je vermoeden. Tegelijk moet je je afvragen wat de door de politiek en media aangewezen schuldige er voor baat bij had om een dergelijke aanval te doen….
Gezien alle beschuldigingen aan het adres van de Syrische regering, zou het nogal dom zijn om een dergelijke aanval uit te voeren, zeker daar het Syrische leger zonder dit soort oorlogsmisdaden de terroristen steeds verder terugdringt…….. Daarnaast hebben internationale chemische wapenexperts gezegd, dat het Syrische leger geen chemische wapens meer heeft (dit bijvoorbeeld i.t.t. De VS, die ze al lang had moeten vernietigen….)…. De ‘gematigde rebellen’ hebben baat bij deze beschuldiging, daar ze op het punt staan verdreven te worden uit Douma (nogmaals: al voor deze gifgasaanval)……. Daarbij rekent men op de steun van de VS in de strijd tegen het reguliere Syrische leger……. Bovendien hebben deze ‘gematigde rebellen’ de beschikking over gifgas (zie ook de noot * onder het hierna opgenomen artikel)
Al is een dergelijke handelswijze, het afwegen wie er baat heeft bij deze aanval, in dit geval niet eens nodig, daar zoals gezegd alle voorgaande gifgasaanvallen aan de gematigde rebellen zijn toegeschreven. Behalve dacht ik die op Khan Sheikhoun, daar de terreurgroep ter plaatse een onderzoekscommissie waaraan ook de Russen zouden deelnemen, categorisch hebben geweigerd (met steun van de VS)…….. Hoewel er naderhand bewijzen te over waren, voor de claim dat zoals gezegd een voorraad chlorine van deze terroristen werd geraakt bij een bombardement van de Syrische luchtmacht……
Gezien de uiterst fanatieke, veel te snelle reactie van Trump en o.a. plork Macron, de Franse president, moet gevreesd worden dat deze figuren de Russen zullen uitdagen door het voortouw te nemen om Damascus en andere steden, van het legitieme, democratisch gekozen Syrische bewind, te bombarderen……… We mogen hopen dat Putin, zoals hij al vaker heeft gedaan, zijn verstand zal gebruiken, anders zijn de ‘oorlogsrapen’ definitief gaar……
Trouwens, op 26 februari maakte de anti-Assad propaganda machine bekend dat er een gifgasaanval op Oost-Ghouta zou zijn gepleegd, zoals nu blijkt ‘een beetje voortijdig….’
Trump Threatens Putin and “Animal Assad” Over Syrian Chemical Attack
Remember when the US admitted Syrian “rebels” have used chemical weapons? Or when earlier this year, the now former Secretary of State blamed Russia for an alleged Syrian chemical attack, despite admitting he doesn’t know who actually did it?Or when the US finally admitted there was “no evidence” Assad used sarin gas? Or just last week, when Trump said that the US is finally pulling out of Syria as a result of the defeat of ISIS (much to the Pentagon’s fury and open-ended timetable for extracting Syrian resources)?
Well, maybe you do, but the neocons areback in charge of US war preparations foreign policy – now that war hawk John Bolton is Trump’s National Security Advisor – are so stuck with the age-old narrative that Assad is desperate to be bombed at any cost, that none of this actually matters, and instead the big story overnight is once again that, lo and behold, Assad decided to gas some “rebels” again, despite now overwhelmingly winning the war against US-backed insurgents, and despite knowing very well that exactly one year ago an alleged “chemical attack” prompted Trump to launch dozens of Tomahawks at Syria.
This is what happened (if you’ve seen this script played out before, you are not alone).
On Saturday night, an alleged chemical attack on a rebel-held town in eastern Ghouta reportedly killed dozens of people, according to US-linked medical services with Washington immediately responding that the reports – if confirmed – would demand an immediate international response. Actually scratch the “if confirmed” part – after all, the last time the US “intervened” in Syria, on April 7, 2017, the US did not need confirmation; Trump just needed a geopolitical distraction.
It seems that he needs another one again, and ideally one that shows just how angry he is with Putin now that an interview with Mueller is reportedly imminent.
A joint statement by the medical relief organization Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS) and the civil defense service, which operates in rebel-held areas, said 49 people had died in the attack late on Saturday. Others put the toll at 150 or more.

The response from the Assad side was similarly predictable: the Syrian regime, whose overthrow the US failed to achieve in the course of the 6 year proxy war in order to facilitate the transport of Qatari natural gas to Europe, denied its forces had launched any chemical attack as the reports began circulating and said the rebels were collapsing and fabricating news.
The Syrian state news agency SANA said Jaish al-Islam was making “chemical attack fabrications in an exposed and failed attempt to obstruct advances by the Syrian Arab army,” citing an official source.
Meanwhile, Reuters said it could not independently verify the reports. Others did the same: The Syrian Observatory said it could not confirm whether chemical weapons had been used in the attack on Saturday.
But, as we noted above, who needs confirmation: after all, if the 2013 “chemical attack” that started it all and was later proven to be a hoax was sufficient, just do the same. And sure enough, a video uploaded by “local media activists” allegedly showed bodies of victims – including women and children – of the reported chemical attack in Douma. Once again, nobody has actually confirmed if anyone has died.

Meanwhile, the US, itching for that military spending GDP boost was ready with the outraged retort: the U.S. State Department said reports of mass casualties from the attack were “horrifying” and would, if confirmed, “demand an immediate response by the international community”. At the same time, Britain’s
Foreign Office also called the reports, if confirmed, “very concerning” and said “an urgent investigation is needed and the international community must respond. We call on the Assad regime and its backers, Russia and Iran, to stop the violence against innocent civilians.”
Note the “if confirmed” part, and keep an eye on how the narrative switches from that to “the attack was confirmed.” If the Skripal case is any indication, just repeating it often enough, should be sufficient.
Trump already did his part on Sunday morning, when he tweeted several statements on the alleged attack as if it was already confirmed, just as one would expect to accelerate the escalation:

Then, for good measure, Trump decided to throw Obama under the bus for not crossing his “red line in the sand”, once again assuming the attack was confirmed.
If President Obama had crossed his stated Red Line In The Sand, the Syrian disaster would have ended long ago! Animal Assad would have been history!
After the alleged attack, State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauret recalled a 2017 sarin gas attack in northwestern Syria that the West and the United Nations blamed on Assad’s government. “The Assad regime and its backers must be held accountable and any further attacks prevented immediately,” she said adding that “The United States calls on Russia to end this unmitigated support immediately and work with the international community to prevent further, barbaric chemical weapons attacks.”
The US also said yet again that Russia is “ultimately bearing responsibility” for all chemical incidents in Syria, regardless of who carried them out, after rebel sources accused Damascus of gassing dozens in Eastern Ghouta’s Douma. In other words, even if the “chemical attack” was carried out by US-backed “rebels”, or better yet “ISIS”, it’s Putin’s fault.
“The regime’s history of using chemical weapons against its own people is not in dispute,” said the US State Department, indicating, however, that it was relying on “reports,” being unable to confirm the incident. “Russia ultimately bears responsibility for the brutal targeting of countless Syrians with chemical weapons.”
As for Russia, its Defense Ministry immediately denied and dismissed as false reports that the Syrian government had carried out a chemical attack in Eastern Ghouta’s Douma: “We strongly refute this information,” Major General Yury Yevtushenko, head of the Reconciliation Center in Syria, said in a statement on Sunday. “We declare our readiness, after Douma is liberated from the militants, to immediately send Russian radiation, chemical and biological protection specialists to collect data that will confirm the fabricated nature of these allegations,” he stated.
Yevtushenko said that “a number of Western countries” are trying to prevent the resumption of an operation aimed at driving militants from the city of Douma.
“For this purpose, the use of chemical weapons by Syrian government forces – one of the most widespread claims in the West – is being used,” he added.
And, knowing where this is all headed, Russia’s Foreign Ministry says in statement on website that reports of chemical weapons attack in rebel-held town of Douma are fabricated, and any military operations against Syria on false pretenses may lead to “gravest consequences.”
Russia warns the US not to strike Syria after the chemical attack: “Military intervention under false & fabricated pretexts in Syria, where Russian servicemen stay at the request of the legitimate government, is absolutely unacceptable and may trigger the gravest consequences.”
The Russians added that “the goal of such reports is to aid terrorists and justify possible military strikes from outside Syria.”
Russia is correct, and it is now just a matter of time before Trump unveils his next grand diversion from the chaos at home and the trade war with China, by launching another 50 or so Tomahawks at some venue deep inside Syria, in a carbon copy repeat of what happened exactly one year ago.

* Dat bleek o.a. na de zogenaamde gifgasaanval op Kahn Sheikhun, waarbij een opslagplaats van de ‘ gematigde rebellen’ met chlorine werd geraakt…….. Daar stelde men eerst dat er sarin gas zou zijn gebruikt, echter daar bleek niets van waar, het was chlorine (dit bleek al bij de eerste beelden van slachtoffers, waarbij de hulpverleners te zien waren, die geen beschermende kleding droegen, iets dat men sarin gas absoluut noodzakelijk is, daar de onderzoekers anders hun leven riskeren….). De VS liep overigens al eens tegen de lamp, toen er beelden naar buiten werden gebracht van een VS jager, die men de kleuren van de Syrische luchtmacht had gegeven. Het is overduidelijk dat men met deze jager een aanval had willen uitvoeren (en wellicht al had uitgevoerd..), om deze in de schoenen van Assad te schuiven (het zou de zoveelste false flag operatie van de VS zijn geweest)…….
Tijdens de Neurenberg processen werd het excuus ‘Befehl ist Befehl’ onderuit gehaald als onzin, immers je hebt je ten allen tijde aan de (internationale) rechtsorde te houden en als dat niet kan valt het toch echt onder jouw eigen verantwoording als je je schuldig maakt aan (oorlogs-) misdaden….. Ondanks deze juridische geschiedenis, gebruikt Washington dit valse ‘Befehl ist Befehl’ excuus voor de nieuwe directeur van de CIA, Gina Haspel…….
Gina Haspel, een psychopaat die niet alleen toezag op martelingen, maar ook voor de lol zelf mensen martelde in een geheime CIA gevangenis in Thailand, is dus door Trump benoemd tot de nieuwe directeur van de CIA……. Dit nadat Mike Pompeo, tot nu directeur van de CIA, een al even grote psychopaat en voorstander van het disfunctionerende martelen, tot minister van buitenlandse zaken werd benoemd……. Pompeo heeft meermaals gezegd dat martelen wel effectief is (wetenschappelijk bewezen onjuist) en dat alles volgens de (VS) wet is toegestaan…… (dat is niet zo, maar slimme juristen vinden wel een zwak punt in de wet, waarmee bij wijze van spreken alles gerechtvaardigd kan worden, ook als het bijvoorbeeld gaat om martelen…..)

DURING THE NUREMBERG TRIALS after World War II, several Nazis, including top German generals Alfred Jodl and Wilhelm Keitel, claimed they were not guilty of the tribunal’s charges because they had been acting at the directive of their superiors.
Ever since, this justification has been popularly known as the “Nuremberg defense,” in which the accused states they were “only following orders.”
The Nuremberg judges rejected the Nuremberg defense, and both Jodl and Keitel were hanged. The United Nations International Law Commission later codified the underlying principle from Nuremberg as “the fact that a person acted pursuant to order of his Government or of a superior does not relieve him from responsibility under international law, provided a moral choice was in fact possible to him.”
This is likely the most famous declaration in the history of international law and is as settled as anything possibly can be.
However, many members of the Washington, D.C. elite are now stating that it, in fact, is a legitimate defense for American officials who violate international law to claim they were just following orders.

Specifically, they say Gina Haspel, a top CIA officer whom President Donald Trump has designated to be the agency’s next director, bears no responsibility for the torture she supervised during George W. Bush’s administration.
Haspel oversaw a secret “black site” in Thailand, at which prisoners were waterboarded and subjected to other severe forms of abuse. Haspel later participated in the destruction of the CIA’s videotapes of some of its torture sessions. There is informed speculation that part of the CIA’s motivation for destroying these records may have been that they showed operatives employing torture to generate false “intelligence” used to justify the invasion of Iraq.
John Kiriakou, a former CIA operative who helped capture many Al Qaeda prisoners, recently said that Haspel was known to some at the agency as “Bloody Gina” and that “Gina and people like Gina did it, I think, because they enjoyed doing it. They tortured just for the sake of torture, not for the sake of gathering information.” (In 2012, in a convoluted case, Kiriakou pleaded guilty to leaking the identity of a covert CIA officer to the press and spent a year in prison.)
Some of Haspel’s champions have used the exact language of the popular version of the Nuremberg defense, while others have paraphrased it.
One who paraphrased it is Michael Hayden, former director of both the CIA and the National Security Agency. In a Wednesday op-ed, Hayden endorsed Haspel as head of the CIA, writing that “Haspel did nothing more and nothing less than what the nation and the agency asked her to do, and she did it well.”
Hayden later said on Twitter that Haspel’s actions were “consistent with U.S. law as interpreted by the department of justice.” This is true: In 2002, the Office of Legal Counsel at the Justice Department declared in a series of notorious memosthat it was legal for the U.S. to engage in “enhanced interrogation techniques” that were obviously torture. Of course, the actions of the Nuremberg defendants had also been “legal” under German law.
John Brennan, who ran the CIA under President Barack Obama, made similar remarks on Tuesday when asked about Haspel. The Bush administration had decided that its torture program was legal, said Brennan, and Haspel “tried to carry out her duties at CIA to the best of her ability, even when the CIA was asked to do some very difficult things.”
Texas Republican Rep. Will Hurd used the precise language of the Nuremberg defense during a Tuesday appearance on CNN when Wolf Blitzer asked him to respond to a statement from Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz.: “The Senate must do its job in scrutinizing the record and involvement of Gina Haspel in this disgraceful program.”
Hurd, a member of the House Intelligence Committee and a former CIA operative as well, told Blitzer that “this wasn’t Gina’s idea. She was following orders. … She implemented orders and was doing her job.”
Hurd also told Blitzer, “You have to remember where we were at that moment, thinking that another attack was going to happen.”
This is another defense that is explicitly illegitimate under international law. The U.N. Convention Against Torture, which was transmitted to the Senate by Ronald Reagan in 1988, statesthat “no exceptional circumstances whatsoever, whether a state of war or a threat or war, internal political instability or any other public emergency, may be invoked as a justification of torture.”
Notably, Blitzer did not have any follow-up questions for Hurd about his jarring comments.
Samantha Winograd, who served on President Obama’s National Security Council and now is an analyst for CNN, likewise used Nuremberg defense language in an appearance on the network. Haspel, she said, “was implementing the lawful orders of the president. … You could argue she should have quit because the program was so abhorrent. But she was following orders.”
Last but not least there’s Rich Lowry, editor of National Review, who issued a ringing defense of Haspel in Politico, claiming she was merely acting “in response to what she was told were lawful orders.”
Remarkably, this perspective has even seeped into the viewpoint of regular journalists. At a recent press conference at which Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Paul criticized Haspel, a reporter asked him to respond to “the counterargument” that “these policies were signed off by the Bush administration. … They were considered lawful at the time.”
It fell to Paul to make the obvious observation that appears to have eluded almost everyone else in official Washington: “This has been historically a question we’ve asked in every war: Is there a point at which soldiers say ‘no’? … Horrendous things happened in World War II, and people said, well, the German soldiers were just obeying orders. … I think there’s a point at which, even suffering repercussions, that if someone asks you to torture someone that you should say no.”

Een volledige herhaling van zetten als bij de bevrijding van Oost-Aleppo: de zogenaamde gematigde rebellen schieten op burgers die Oost-Ghouta via de door de regering ingestelde corridors willen ontvluchten……
Ook destijds in Oost-Aleppo had men hier geen aandacht voor in de westerse reguliere media, behalve dan een ‘hickup’ van de reguliere massamedia, die durfden te stellen dat het Syrische leger op die burgers schoot….. Waar na onderzoek bleek dat de daders onder de ‘gematigde rebellen’ moesten worden gezocht, werd er niet gerectificeerd in die media, men deed er verder het zwijgen toe, of herhaalde ‘doodleuk’ de eerdere leugens………… Terwijl destijds al bekend was dat de terroristen in Oost-Aleppo burgers waarschuwden niet te vluchten, daar men bij aanhouding direct geëxecuteerd zou worden, inclusief mee vluchtende familieleden (waaronder kinderen…). Bij een geslaagde vlucht werd deze mensen beloofd dat achtergebleven familieleden zouden worden vermoord…..
Nu is er al helemaal geen aandacht in de reguliere westerse media voor de sluipschutters van deze ‘rebellen’, die uit Oost-Ghouta vluchtende burgers vermoorden……. Hoe is dat gvd mogelijk? De reguliere media en het grootste deel van de westerse politici schreeuwen moord en brand over het Syrische leger dat volkomen terecht Oost-Ghouta wil zuiveren van psychopathische moordenaars, verkrachters en martelbeulen, nogmaals: figuren die hier eufemistisch ‘gematigde rebellen’ worden genoemd…….
Dit klopt niet helemaal Azijnpisser, nu trekt de VN vluchtelingenorganisatie (UNHCR) aan de bel en (hoe is het mogelijk) de New York Times bracht zowaar dit bericht…. Heb gezocht op het internet, maar kan hier niets over vinden in de reguliere Nederlandse media, terwijl de eerste berichten over sluipschutters die vluchtende burgers uit Oost-Ghouta neerschoten al dateren van de laatste weken in februari (jl.)……….. (eerste melding op 20 februari jl.) Lullig dat de VN vluchtelingenorganisatie bij monde van Sajjad Mailk nog weer met de vingers naar het reguliere Syrische leger moet wijzen, met beschuldigingen die gelijken als die ten tijde van de bevrijding van Oost-Aleppo, waar echter nooit enig bewijs voor werd geleverd….. Zo zou het Syrische leger gevluchte burgers dwingen terug te gaan in door rebellen beheerst gebied….. Alsof ze daarvoor de corridors hebben ingesteld…….
Waar de reguliere media ten tijde van de bevrijding van Oost-Aleppo ook al niet over berichtten, was het feit dat Syrië en Rusland een paar maanden voor de uiteindelijke bevrijding van dat stadsdeel, besloten te stoppen met bombarderen, om onnodige burgerslachtoffers te voorkomen……
Bij de bevrijding van het Iraakse Mosul en het Syrische Raqqa, ging de VS tot het eind toe door met bombarderen waardoor een enorm aantal burgers omkwam, ondanks herhaalde oproepen van de VN en een paar afzonderlijke landen te stoppen met die bombardementen………

Syrian Rebels Using Snipers to Kill Civilians Trying to Flee War-Torn Syrian City
(ANTIMEDIA Op-ed) — Syrian rebels are sniping down civilians attempting to flee the violence in Eastern Ghouta through a corridor opened up by the Syrian government, according to a U.N. official as reported by the New York Times.
Sajjad Malik, head of the United Nations refugee agency (UNHCR) from Damascus, returned to Beirut late last week after entering Eastern Ghouta with a relief convoy earlier in the week. Malik noted the dire conditions facing the residents of Eastern Ghouta and highlighted how little choice the people have when it comes to escaping the violence.
According to Malik, the residents also would also have to fear for their safety if they were to flee to government-held territory. The government has been known to make deals to relocate residents to other rebel-held territories if need be, but no such deals have yet been made with the residents of Eastern Ghouta to safely relocate them elsewhere. The residents are therefore unsure of what to expect should they make it safely to areas controlled by the government.
“They want out – either the bombing to stop, or to get out. But reach safety where?” Malik said last Thursday. “We are getting to a point where there is literally no flight option. What worse situation could there be?”
According to the New York Times, Malik’s account “underscored that combatants on both sides are responsible for the horrific situation of civilians in eastern Ghouta.” This admission is noteworthy to say the least considering the mainstream media has painted the current humanitarian issue as one that belongs solely to the Syrian government while giving the Islamist rebels holding Eastern Ghouta a free pass.
Malik documented an incident in which two people had been killed by rebel snipers as a family tried to
escape through a land corridor established by the Syrian government. The area is controlled by Jaish al-Islam, a radical Islamist group openly supported by American allies like Saudi Arabia.
The New York Times alleged that the Syrian government has behaved similarly in an area controlled by another rebel group by delivering an air strike on a family of five as they tried to reach the crossing. Interestingly, the New York Times did not reference Malik as the source of this claim but referred to a known “anti-government activist” in the area known as Ahmed Hamdan. The New YorkTimes also mentioned that some residents said the family had died during “ordinary” airstrikes but not while trying to flee — another inconsistency.
The New York Times also documented protests that erupted on Friday in the town of Kafr Batna, with residents calling on the rebel groups to leave to put an end to the violence. Jaish al-Islam has refused to leave the areas it occupies, which does not bode well for the prospect of winding down the current situation.
“Miserable. Destruction. Disaster. Death. Hunger,” Malik reportedly said before noting that there was a prominent stench in the streets of bodies trapped under the rubble of destroyed houses.
Malik also noted that residents told him that rebels prevented them from leaving the area.
“They said, ‘These guys are preventing us’” while pointing at nearby rebel fighters, Malik stated.

15 jaar geleden begon de regering van George W. Bush de oorlog tegen Irak. Geheel op leugens gebaseerd was dit de aanzet tot een illegale oorlog die intussen aan meer dan 1,5 miljoen burgers het leven heeft gekost.
Deze oorlog was niet mogelijk geweest, als de reguliere (massa-) media niet de leugens van de Bush administratie hadden overgenomen en dat op de voorpagina’s en prominent in nieuws en actualiteiten uitzendingen, of dat nu op de radio of tv was. De term ‘fake news’ bestond destijds nog niet, maar werd wel degelijk op grote schaal gemaakt door de hiervoor genoemde media. Vergeet niet dat meerdere deskundigen en wapeninspecteurs van de VN, zoals Blix, keer op keer stelden dat Irak niet meer in het bezit was van massavernietigingswapens…….
Het volgende artikel gaat Ron Paul dieper in op alle gevolgen van deze illegale oorlog die de VS 15 jaar geleden begon. Voorts noemt hij het huidige tromgeroffel o.l.v. De VS tegen Noord-Korea, waar senator Graham een paar dagen geleden stelde dat een paar miljoen doden geen probleem zijn, als met een oorlog tegen dit land ‘stabiliteit’ in de regio wordt bereikt………..
Jammer dat Paul niet alle andere oorlogsdreigingen van VS en NAVO zijde noemt, zoals een dreigende oorlog tegen Syrië, Iran en Libanon (deze o.l.v. Israël met steun van de VS), waar nog Oekraïne aan toegevoegd kan worden, daar de VS daar niet alleen meer ‘militaire adviseurs’, maar ook zware wapens levert aan dit intussen zo goed als failliete land. Ron Paul: 15 Years After the US Invaded Iraq, It’s Time to Listen to the Iraqi People
(RPI Op-ed) — This month marks the 15th anniversary of the US war on Iraq. The “shock and awe” attack was launched based on “stove-piped” intelligence fed from the CIA and Pentagon through an uncritical and compliant US mainstream media. The US media was a willing accomplice to this crime of aggression committed by the George W. Bush Administration.
Despite the lies we were constantly bombarded with, Iraq never presented a threat to the United States. Iraq never had the weapons of mass destruction that the neocons used to frighten Americans into supporting the war. How many of them knew all along that there were no WMDs? We’ll never know. Attacking Iraq and overthrowing its leader was long a plan in the neocon playbook and they used the 9/11 attack on the US as an excuse to pull the plan off the shelf and put it into action.
The US “regime change” war on Iraq has directly resulted in the death of at least a quarter of a million civilians, and indirectly perhaps a million Iraqis have been killed. The Iraqi infrastructure was destroyed and the country was set back many decades in development. Far from the democratization we were promised, Iraq has been turned into a hell on earth. Due to the US use of depleted uranium and other chemical weapons like white phosphorus, Iraqis will continue to suffer from birth defects and other related illnesses for generations.
How did we get there? War propaganda was essential in paving the way for the Iraq war. Americans are generally skeptical about launching new wars, so it takes a steady media bombardment about the alleged depravities of any targeted regime before public opinion begins to shift in favor of war.
Because the neocons who helped launch the war have never had to face the consequences of their actions, they continue to promote war with impunity. Just this past week, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) was pushing for a US attack on North Korea in which millions may be killed. He said this weekend, “All the damage that would come from a war would be worth it in terms of long-term stability and national security.” That’s just what they said before the US attacked Iraq, and how did that turn out? I find it disgusting that the media continues to give airtime almost exclusively to those who promote more US disasters like Iraq.
The Iraqi parliament did something extraordinary last week. A majority of elected Iraqi representatives voted to demand that their prime minister draw up a timetable for the withdrawal of US troops from the country. President Obama had withdrawn US troops from Iraq in 2011, after a status of forces agreement could not be reached with the Iraqi government, but he returned the US military to Iraq under the auspices of fighting ISIS.
We had no business going into Iraq in the first place and we have no business remaining in Iraq. Al-Qaeda and ISIS emerged in Iraq because our attack and occupation of the country 15 years ago created fertile fields for extremism. Nothing will be achieved if we remain. Let’s listen to the Iraqis and just come home!

Dezelfde Wilkerson beschuldigt nu de Trump administratie van het manipuleren van ‘bewijsmateriaal’ en het angstzaaien voor Iran (waar Wilkerson vergeet haatzaaien te noemen, dit is immers een vast onderdeel in de leugencampagnes die de VS voert, haatzaaien tegen een tegenstander, neem de leugens over het vermoorden van couveuse baby’s in Koeweit door Iraakse militairen, voorafgaand aan de eerste illegale oorlog van de VS in 1991 tegen Irak….. In 2003 waren het de massavernietigingswapens die Irak zou hebben, terwijl de VN wapeninspecteur Blix meermaals stelde dat dit niet het geval was en dat was het dan ‘ook niet…..’
Of wat dacht je van de beschuldigingen aan het adres van Syrië voor het gebruiken van gifgas tegen de eigen bevolking, dit is nooit bewezen, sterker nog: wel werd bewezen dat elke gifgasaanval die werd onderzocht in Syrië, op de ‘doodsrekening’ staat van de ‘gematigde rebellen’, geteisem dat door het westen wordt gesteund…… Maakt allemaal niet uit: alsnog blijven de westerse reguliere (massa-) media en het grootste deel van de westerse politici deze leugens herhalen…… Dit zijn ‘false flag’ operaties, dus met opzet, zoals in dit geval, mensen gruwelijk vermoorden (of de poging daartoe) met gifgas en dit in de schoenen van een ander schuiven…..
De Trump administratie had zelfs het gore lef te stellen dat Iran samenwerkt met Al Qaida, terwijl Al Qaida elke sjiiet die het tegenkomt vermoord. Hetzelfde werd voor de oorlog tegen Irak gesteld, terwijl Al Qaida onder Saddam Hoessein geen poot aan de grond kreeg in Irak……. Intussen heeft de VS samengewerkt met Al Qaida Syrië en de tak van deze terreurgroep in Syrië zelfs van de zwarte terreurlijst heeft gehaald……
Ik snap werkelijk niet waarom de reguliere media hier geen aandacht aan hebben besteed en elke (zelfs bewezen) claim dat de VS samenwerkt met IS of Al Qaida afdoen als complotdenken…… Daar kan maar één reden voor zijn, de welgestelde bazen of investeringsgroepen die deze media in handen hebben en de regeringen (die middels subsidies voor de publieke omroepen hun zeggenschap kunnen afdwingen) tevreden houden, kortom: kwade opzet! (al zullen die media dit ook afdoen als een complottheorie…..)
Nog een ‘klein detail’ in deze: met het meegaan van de reguliere massamedia in het keihard liegen, brachten (in het geval van de twee VS oorlogen tegen Irak) en brengen de reguliere (massa-) media een ongelofelijke berg ‘fake news’ (‘nepnieuws…)…… Dezelfde media die nu om het hardst schreeuwen dat de sociale media vol staan met ‘fake news’ ofwel ‘nepnieuws’

Man Who Sold America the Iraq War Just Warned Iran Is Next, but Is Anyone Listening?
(ANTIMEDIA) — Fifteen years after the calamitous U.S. invasion of Iraq, an architect of the propaganda used to drum up support for the war is warning that it’s happening again — this time with Iran.
Lawrence Wilkerson, who was chief of staffto former Secretary of State Colin Powell, helped the then-secretary “paint a clear picture that war was the only choice” in his infamous 2003 speechto the U.N. This week, writing for the New York Times —an outlet that, at the time, parrotedmisleading narrativesin support of the war — Wilkerson accused the Trump administration of manipulating evidence and fear-mongering in the same way the Bush administration did to cultivate public support for ousting Saddam Hussein.
In his Monday op-ed, titled “ I Helped Sell the False Choice of War Once. It’s Happening Again,” he wrote:
“As his chief of staff, I helped Secretary Powell paint a clear picture that war was the only choice, that when ‘we confront a regime that harbors ambitions for regional domination, hides weapons of mass destruction and provides haven and active support for terrorists, we are not confronting the past, we are confronting the present. And unless we act, we are confronting an even more frightening future.’”
Though the U.N. and much of the world didn’t buy it, Wilkerson says Americans did, and it amounted to the culmination of a two-year effort by the Bush administration to initiate the war, which he now condemns
“That effort led to a war of choice with Iraq — one that resulted in catastrophic losses for the region and the United States-led coalition, and that destabilized the entire Middle East,” he wrote, going on to call out the Trump administration for pushing the United States down the same path in Iran.
“This should not be forgotten,” he urged, “since the Trump administration is using much the same playbook to create a false impression that war is the only way to address the threats posed by Iran.”
Wilkerson singled out Nikki Haley, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, for her recent saber-rattling against Iran. He accused her of presenting questionable evidence that “Iran was not complying with Security Council resolutions regarding its ballistic missile program and Yemen,” comparing her directly to Powell. “Just like Mr. Powell, Ms. Haley showed satellite images and other physical evidence available only to the United States intelligence community to prove her case. But the evidence fell significantly short.”
Wilkerson accused Haley’s claims about Iran of essentially mirroring Powell’s claims about Iraq, also warning that war with Iran will be very different. It is “a country of almost 80 million people whose vast strategic depth and difficult terrain make it a far greater challenge than Iraq, would be 10 to 15 times worse than the Iraq war in terms of casualties and costs,” he cautioned, still asserting that countries like China, Russia, and North Korea pose far more “formidable challenges to America” than Iran does.
The former chief of staff to Powell further criticized the Trump administration, citing its National Security Strategy, which claims:
“The longer we ignore threats from countries determined to proliferate and develop weapons of mass destruction, the worse such threats become, and the fewer defensive options we have.”
“The Bush-Cheney team could not have said it better as it contemplated invading Iraq,” Wilkerson wrote, going on to call out not just Haley and the Trump administration but also the executive branch in general, Congress, and the media.
“Though Ms. Haley’s presentation missed the mark, and no one other than the national security elite will even read the strategy, it won’t matter,” he lamented. “We’ve seen this before: a campaign built on the politicization of intelligenceand shortsighted policy decisions to make the case for war. And the American people have apparently become so accustomed to executive branch warmongering — approved almost unanimously by the Congress — that such actions are not significantly contested.”
He implicated the news media, as well, noting that outlets recently “failed to refute false narratives” from the Trump administration that Iran worked with Al-Qaeda to undermine the U.S. (never forget the CIA’s overseas meddling helped lay the foundation for Al-Qaeda in the first place, and its policy of arming extremists in Syria also ended up empowering the terror group). He compared this false conflation with Dick Cheney’s attempts to link Saddam Hussein to Al-Qaeda during the Bush years.
He went on to list the variety of ways the Trump administration is drumming up unfounded support for war against Iran:
“We should include the president’s decertification ultimatum in January that Congress must ‘fix’ the Iran nuclear deal, despite the reality of Iran’s compliance; the White House’s pressure on the intelligence community to cook up evidenceof Iran’s noncompliance; and the administration’s choosing to viewthe recent protests in Iran as the beginning of regime change. Like the Bush administration before, these seemingly disconnected events serve to create a narrative in which war with Iran is the only viable policy.”
Considering Iran has long been a crown jewel in the U.S. hegemonic efforts, it should be no surprise the Trump administration isn’t budging on its plans to intervene. Wilkerson, however, knows far better than most the dangers of pushing unsubstantiated claims to advocate war.
He warned:
“As I look back at our lock-step march toward war with Iraq, I realize that it didn’t seem to matter to us that we used shoddy or cherry-picked intelligence; that it was unrealistic to argue that the war would ‘pay for itself,’ rather than cost trillions of dollars; that we might be hopelessly naïve in thinking that the war would lead to democracy instead of pushing the region into a downward spiral.”
Mensen, werkelijk ongelofelijk maar waar: weer durft de VS met de vinger te wijzen naar de Syrische regering. nadat in door ‘rebellen’ beheerst gebied (door de VS beveiligd) nogmaals gifgas is vrijgekomen…… Het vrijgekomen gas bleek na onderzoek chlorine te zijn, je weet wel, waarvan eerder een voorraad werd geraakt in Khan Sheikhoun, maar die door ‘deskundigen’ en de reguliere westerse media nog steeds werd en wordt omschreven als een aanval met Sarin (een zenuwgas) door het Syrische leger……..
Dat laatste, ‘Sarin’ bleek al onmiddellijk niet waar te zijn, daar de hulpverleners niet waren gekleed tegen de gevolgen van het werken met Sarin slachtoffers…… Voorts hebben meerdere echte deskundigen al van meet af aan gezegd dat reguliere Syrische leger geen gifgas meer in het bezit had, zie de vergelijking in de aanloop naar de illegale oorlog van de VS tegen Irak in 2003……… Eerdere gifgasaanvallen van ‘Assad’ werden na onderzoek toegeschreven aan de zogenaamde gematigde rebellen (moordend en verkrachtend geteisem)……..
DE NOS plaatste op haar site (7 april 2017) een lulverhaal van Ko ‘de woestijnwachter’ Colijn, waarin deze enorme flapdrol zogenaamd aantoont dat inderdaad Syrische troepen Sarin gas tegen burgers hadden gebruikt in Khan Sheikhoun…. Eén van zijn belachelijke uitspraken op de NOS site, na de volgende opmerking van de NOS: ‘Maar volgens Colijn is het ‘vrij onwaarschijnlijk‘ dat rebellen over dit soort chemische wapens beschikken‘ >> komt ‘ie (houd je vast): “IS heeft wel restanten van zenuwgas in bezit, maar de kans is klein dat de terreurorganisatie die heeft ingezet“, zegt Colijn………. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!
Ten eerste was al minstens vijf keer eerder geconstateerd dat de zogenaamde ‘gematigde rebellen’ over gifgas beschikken (zo bleek o.a. uit wapenvondsten en grondig onderzoek, onderzoek dat overigens veelal door de VS en haar lakeien wordt afgewezen, als daarom wordt gevraagd, behalve als de onderzoekers ‘betrouwbare VS specialisten’ zijn natuurlijk*). Ten tweede de volgende open deur vraag: zijn IS, Al Qaida, of haar evenknie in Syrië al-Nusra padvindersorganisaties die zoveel mogelijk geweld tegen burgers vermijden of zo….???? Waar slaat ‘t op??!!! Waarom is de kans klein dat IS zenuwgas inzet, omdat ze het al eerder hebben gedaan??? Hier de link naar het artikel op de hevig partijdig gekleurde site van de NOS, wel met de volgende waarschuwing: weet je echt veel over de illegale door de VS gestichte oorlog tegen Syrië? Pas op dat je er niet in blijft, in een onbedaarlijke lachstuip >> wat een oplichter en idioot die Colijn!!
Overigens stond er een bijzonder vreemde kop boven dit NOS artikel: ‘Gifgas was aanleiding aanval, maar met welk bewijs?’ Dan moet je deze uiterst kromme ‘vraag’ nodig aan één van de grote lobbyisten van de VS, NAVO en het militair-industrieel complex voorleggen, je kan dan net zo goed zelf bepalen met welk antwoord kwezel Colijn komt (dat is namelijk uitermate voorspelbaar)……
En dan: ‘Gifgas was aanleiding aanval’, nogmaals waar slaat ‘t op?? De echte vraag had natuurlijk moeten zijn: ‘Waarom zou Assad gifgas gebruiken als hij aan de winnende hand is????’ Om de wereld nog verder tegen zich in het harnas te jagen? Wat een dom gelul, maar het allerbelangrijkst zijn de bewijzen dat het reguliere Syrische leger (en niet ‘Assad’) geen gifgas heeft en dus ook niet heeft gebruikt in de aanvallen die aan dit leger worden toegeschreven, sterker nog: niet één van die aanvallen is toe te schrijven aan het reguliere Syrische leger!! Niet voor niets is meermaals aangetoond dat deze zogenaamde gematigde rebellen in het bezit waren (en veelal nog zijn) van gifgas dat werd gebruikt in die aanvallen…..** Het is intussen al lang bekend dat Trump de aanval met kruisraketten na ‘de aanval met gifgas op Khan Sheikhoun, gelastte daar hij TV beelden zag, waarin de schuld werd toegeschreven aan het Syrische leger (in de uren na die aanval, dus zonder ook maar een nanometer aan bewijs…)…..
Ach, Ko Colijn: een over een keeshondendrol getilde fantast, oorlogshitser en lobbyist voor de NAVO en het militair-industrieel complex! Moet je nagaan: deze hufter is bijzonder hoogleraar…… ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Logisch dat Nederlandse universiteiten niet bij de eerste 40 beste universiteiten zijn te vinden!
Sico van der Meer, een ‘deskundige’ van Clingendael was gistermorgen op BNR te horen over deze laatste gifgasaanval (rond 9.40 u.). Deze mislukte zakkenwasser sprak over de ‘Doomsday Club’, blijkbaar een nieuwe aanduiding voor de ‘Axis of Evil’ (toch vreemd dat daarin nooit de grootste terreurentiteit op aarde wordt genoemd, oh dom van mij, deze uitdrukking komt NB uit de VS!).
Volgens van der Meer heeft Syrië zonder meer chemische wapens, ook al kan hij daar geen flinter bewijs voor leveren, ach je roept het honderd keer en de goegemeente gelooft je wel……… Van der Meer maakte nog een uiterst vermakelijke vergissing, volgens hem is Rusland en de VS doende kleine kernwapens te maken, zodat bijvoorbeeld niet heel Amsterdam wordt weggevaagd, waar alleen het centrum……. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! De oorlogshitser heeft de klok horen luiden maar weet niet waar de klepel hangt!
Men is juist doende om kernwapens te maken die alleen bijvoorbeeld steden vernietigen maar niet de gebieden daarom heen……. Van der Meer een deskundige..?? ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!
En zo wordt het Nederlandse volk dag in dag uit voorgelogen door een stelletje mafketels, die als ‘deskundigen’ worden aangeduid………
Ondertussen beschuldigen een groot aantal landen, onder druk van zijne inhumane kwaadaardigheid en idem oorlogshitser Rex Tillerson Syrië en dit keer m.n. Rusland aan als schuldige voor de laatste aanval met gifgas……… Tja je bent bezig met de voorbereiding van een oorlog tegen Rusland of niet natuurlijk…….
En gedwee blijft het westen achter de grootste terreurentiteit op aarde, de VS aanlopen en dit gestolen land steunen in de vreselijke terreur die het verspreid………

Two dozen countries agreed Tuesday to push for sanctions against perpetrators of chemical attacks in Syria, with US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson saying Russia “ultimately bears responsibility” for such strikes.
Twenty-four nations approved a new “partnership against impunity” for the use of chemical weapons, just a day after reports they were used in an attack that sickened 21 people in rebel-held Eastern Ghouta, which Tillerson said was suspected to involve chlorine.
“Whoever conducted the attacks, Russia ultimately bears responsibility for the victims in East Ghouta and countless other Syrians targeted with chemical weapons since Russia became involved in Syria,” Tillerson said after the international meeting in Paris, and ahead of further talks with ministers from several countries on ending the conflict.
“There is simply no denying that Russia, by shielding its Syrian ally, has breached its commitments to the US as a framework guarantor” overseeing the destruction of Syria’s chemical weapons stockpiles, as agreed in September 2013, he added.
Despite its pledge to destroy such weapons, the Syrian government has been repeatedly accused of staging chemical attacks, with the United Nations among those blaming it for an April 2017 sarin gas attack on the opposition-held village of Khan Sheikhun which left scores dead.
There have been at least 130 separate chemical weapons attacks in Syria since 2012, according to French estimates, with the Islamic State group also accused of using mustard gas in Syria and Iraq.
Bare minimum
Russia twice used its UN veto in November to block an extension of an international expert inquiry into chemical attacks in Syria, to the consternation of Western powers.
Russia’s UN ambassador Vassily Nebenzia Tuesday rejected Tillerson’s accusations and instead called for a “truly impartial” international investigation of the chemical attacks.
Moscow, backed by Iran and Turkey, has organised talks in the Russian city of Sochi next week aimed at finding a resolution to the brutal and multifaceted civil war.
Those efforts are running parallel to talks overseen by the UN, with the latest round due in Vienna on Thursday and Friday.
The talks have so far failed to make progress in ending a war that has left more than 340,000 people dead.
Tillerson said that “Russia’s failure to resolve the chemical weapons issue in Syria calls into question its relevance to the resolution of the overall crisis”.
“At a bare minimum, Russia must stop vetoing, or at the very least abstain, from future Security Council votes on this issue,” he said.
At Tuesday’s meeting, 24 out of 29 countries attending committed to sharing information and compiling a list of individuals implicated in the use of chemical weapons in Syria and beyond.
These could then be hit with sanctions such as asset freezes and entry bans as well as criminal proceedings at the national level.
Ahead of the meeting, France announced asset freezes against 25 Syrian companies and executives, as well as French, Lebanese and Chinese businesses accused of aiding government use of chemical weapons.
“The criminals who take the responsibility for using and developing these barbaric weapons must know that they will not go unpunished,” said French foreign minister Jean-Yves Le Drian, who chaired Tuesday’s meeting.
“The current situation cannot continue.”
‘Worst humanitarian crises’
Tillerson, Le Drian and Britain’s Boris Johnson afterwards held a closed-door meeting on Syria with the Saudi and Jordanian foreign ministers.
They discussed how best to “provide backing and some concrete reinforcement for UN efforts to advance the political process in Geneva, constitutional reform and the preparation for the holding of elections”, ahead of a series of meetings on Syria, a senior US State Department official said, warning that “it’s going to take time”.
Johnson later hosted his US, Saudi Arabian and UAE counterparts at the British Embassy to discuss the Yemen conflict in a whirlwind of Middle Eastern diplomacy.
“The conflicts in Syria and Yemen have created two of the worst humanitarian crises of our time,” Johnson said ahead of the meeting.
“There can be no military solution to either conflict, only peaceful and carefully negotiated political solutions will truly end the suffering.”
The Syrian war has grown even more complex in recent days with Turkey launching a new ground operation against Kurdish militia who it considers an offshoot of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).
Tillerson met with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu in Paris on Tuesday, though he did not hold a press conference to discuss their talks.
Last week Tillerson warned that the US would remain in Syria until the situation was stable enough to remove President Bashar al-Assad from office.

De Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Centre (MAETIC) is een Israëlisch instituut dat aandacht genereert voor de ‘gesneuvelde’ agenten van de geheime dienst en is als ik het goed begrepen heb, onderdeel van de Israëlische geheime dienst, bovendien is MAETIC een orgaan dat terreurgroepen bestudeert en op dat gebied o.a. de Israëlische regering van adviezen voorziet.
MAETIC bracht een rapport uit, waarin wordt gesteld dat Israël een tijdelijk bondgenootschap aan moet gaan met IS, daar beiden Iran bestrijden en daarmee Hezbollah >> de Jerusalem Post plaatste een artikel over de bevindingen van MAETIC.
Overigens heeft Israël de laatste jaren meermaals strijders van IS en Al Qaida gesteund, onder meer door gewonde strijders op de Golanhoogten van medische zorg te voorzien, zodat ze verder deel konden nemen aan de strijd tegen Assad en de sjiitische strijders van Iran en Hezbollah, die samen met het reguliere Syrische leger en de Russen uiterst succesvol IS bestreden…….. Ook had Israël een overeenkomst met o.a. Al Qaida, waarbij de afspraak was dat deze groep een mortier granaat afschoot op een vooraf bepaald en onbewoond deel van die Golanhoogten, het teken voor Israël dat men bombardementen wenste op vijandige troepen die optrokken tegen Al Qaida (of IS), ofwel het reguliere Syrische leger werd dan door Israël gebombardeerd……
Verder is het intussen meer dan duidelijk dat Israël, samen met de VS en Saoedi-Arabië, IS op poten hebben gezet en deze terreurgroep ook financieel hebben gesteund…..* Zo bezien loopt MAETIC ‘achter de troepen aan’, al ontkent dit instituut onterecht dat Israël al banden had met terreurgroepen als IS en Al Qaida……. Ach ja, sommige zaken kan je maar beter geheim houden of domweg ontkennen………
Echter Israël onderhoudt niet alleen banden met terreurgroepen, maar ook met terreurstaten, zoals Saoedi-Arabië en uiteraard met de grootste terreurentiteit op aarde: de VS…….
Hoe kan de wereld zo blind zijn voor de oneindige en ongebreidelde terreur van Israël tegen de Palestijnen, wier land men heeft gestolen en tegen wie deze fascistische apartheidsstaat een langzame etnische zuivering uitvoert…… Dit doet Israël niet alleen door een groot aantal mensen gevangen te zetten, zonder dat zij worden berecht (waaronder een flink aantal kinderen…), maar ook middels ongebreideld geweld en ronduit smerige treiterijen….
Wat dat laatste betreft: neem de muur op de door Israël illegaal bezette West Bank >> het wordt de boeren onmogelijk gemaakt nog langer hun land te bewerken en mocht dit toch lukken, zorgen de zionisten van de illegale nederzettingen er wel voor dat bijvoorbeeld een hele olijfboomgaard wordt afgebrand………. Dan zijn er nog Palestijnen die voor studie langere tijd naar het buitenland gaan, zij lopen een heel grote kans geen toegang meer te krijgen tot hun geboortegrond en het ouderlijk huis (nogmaals: dit op illegaal door Israël bezette grond!)

Israeli Intelligence: ISIS and Israel Could Now Be ‘Temporary Allies’ Against Iran
(MEMO) — A new report released yesterday by an Israeli intelligence bureau has suggested that in confronting Iran, the interests of Daesh and Israel could converge, making them temporary allies, accordingto the Jerusalem Post.
The Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Centre emphasized that there was no formal alliance between Israel and the so-called Islamic State, but said that after Daesh has fallen as a state, both would target Iran and Hezbollah militants in Syria.
According to the report, Daesh “will likely change its combat patterns and revert to guerrilla tactics and terrorism following the end of the campaign against it in Iraq, and may carry out hit-and-run attacks against Iranian vehicles moving along the land.”
As to the relationship between Iran and Israel, the report echoes the government’s statements on the danger Iran poses, particularly via the aid that will be given to Hezbollah that Israel believes will be used to create terror networks in the Golan Heights.
“The Iranian presence in Syria increases the likelihood of friction with Israel and may lead to an escalation between the two countries at a timing that is not suitable for Iran,” the report read.
The common enemy between Israel and Daesh may result in strategies merging as both seek to limit Iranian influence in the region.
Whilst Israel has regarded Daesh militants as a major threat until now, it has not disapproved of the strikes launched against Iranian forces by IS.
Daesh has lost swathes of its territory in Syria and Iraq this year, including its most prized possession, Mosul. In Syria, it has been forced back into a strip of the Euphrates valley and surrounding desert, with a declaration of complete victory expected imminently.
As the risk the group poses to Israel falls, the government seems to be willing to tolerate the existence of fighters as long as it serves their national interests.

Keer op keer, ook onder Obama, beweerde de VS alleen in Syrië te zijn voor de bestrijding van IS, maar nu de VS stelt dat IS is overwonnen, zegt het Pentagon niet van zins te zijn een eind te maken aan haar illegale verblijf in Syrië, integendeel: het Pentagon stelt dat de VS (illegaal) aanwezig zal blijven in Syrië……
Daarmee geeft de VS in feite aan dat het wat hen betreft voorgoed is afgelopen met het vreedzaam samenwonen van diverse religies naast elkaar, zoals dit het geval was, voordat de VS in 2011 een opstand kocht in Syrië (waarvoor de eerste plannen al werden gemaakt in 2006), een opstand die moest uitmonden in een staatsgreep tegen het bewind van Assad………
Met deze belofte van de VS, zal bovendien de vrede niet terugkeren in het gebied dat we nu nog Syrië noemen……
Overigens is het meer dan duidelijk dat de VS meermaals IS heeft gesteund, niet alleen in Libië en Irak**, maar ook in Syrië…… Terwijl het Pentagon en de VS minister van Defensie, uh Oorlog, James ‘mad dog’ Mattis, als excuus voor de blijvende illegale aanwezigheid van VS militairen op Syrisch grondgebied aanvoeren, dat het een opnieuw opstaan van IS wil voorkomen……. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!
Syrië moet en zal uiteenvallen, zodat de VS, Israël en Saoedi-Arabië uiteindelijk het sjiitische Iran aan kunnen vallen……. Vanmorgen meldde BBC World Service radio nog, dat Israël en Saoedi-Arabië, de grootste terreurstaten in het Midden-Oosten gezamenlijk Iran hebben aangewezen als verspreider van terreur en instabiliteit in het Midden-Oosten……. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Knettergek en nog zotter dat men dergelijke berichten zonder enige kritiek durft te brengen!!
ISIS Officially ‘Defeated’ but the US Will Stay in Syria
Russia questions what the US goal in Syria has become.
(ANTIWAR.COM) — US military intentions in Syria have never been exactly transparent, but are becoming ever less so, as Pentagon officials loudly declare ISIS to have been “defeated” in the country, but insist that they intend to remain.
This is a potential major legal issue, because Syria never authorized the US invasion in the first place. US officials always presented the authorization as being UN resolutions supporting the fight against ISIS, but that would no longer apply.
Moreover, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has pointed out that Secretary of State Tillerson has repeatedly assured him that the “only” US goal in Syria is to fight ISIS. This is adding to Russian concerns about what the US is actually planning on doing next.
Secretary of Defense James Mattis is trying to present this as keeping “ISIS 2.0” from coming into existence. While this is also the pretext for staying in Iraq, there is a major difference between a permanent deployment in Iraq that the US-backed government there supports, and trying to stay in Syria forever despite explicit opposition from the Syrian government.

Het was Ollongren, zoals de meeste Nederlandse politici (en die uit andere westerse landen) nog niet opgevallen dat alle verhalen over Russische bemoeienis, met bijvoorbeeld de VS presidentsverkiezingen, op drijfzand zijn gebaseerd, waar zelfs geen nanometer bewijs voor is geleverd……
Wikileaks en dan vooral de Vault 7 en 8 documenten (officiële documenten van o.a. de CIA), geven juist aan dat het de VS geheime diensten als CIA en NSA zijn, die waar het hen maar uitkomt bezig zijn met manipulaties en hacken (zelfs de telefoons van bevriende staatshoofden als Merkel) en daarmee: -verkiezingen verstoren en -opstanden organiseren die moeten uitmonden in een staatsgreep, zoals in Honduras, Libië, Brazilië, Oekraïne en Syrië (met het opzetten van een opstand in dat laatst genoemde land, was de VS al bezig vanaf 2006…..) en -illegale oorlogen beginnen….. Niet Rusland, maar de VS is zonder meer schuldig aan grootschalige cyberterreur en is daarnaast de grootste (‘analoge’) terreurentiteit op aarde!!
Als je Ollongren moet geloven, zou je kunnen stellen dat bijvoorbeeld de Volkskrant, de NRC en NOS onder invloed van Rusland hun nieuws t.a.v. de voorbereiding en de uiteindelijke illegale oorlogen van de VS (en NAVO) tegen Afghanistan, Irak en Libië hebben gebracht, immers dat was allemaal ‘fake news’ of nepnieuws zo u wilt…….. Ollongren stelt wel dat ook anderen zich schuldig maken aan het brengen van ‘fake news’, maar heeft met geen woord gesteld dat de reguliere media zich bewezen keer op keer bezondigen aan het brengen van nepnieuws, laat staan dat ze daar iets tegen onderneemt, de smerige hypocriet!!
Het is duidelijk, dat de AIVD en de MIVD niet hebben stilgezeten en Ollongren in een mum van tijd hebben gehersenspoeld met hun leugens…… De sociale media moeten de mond worden gesnoerd, dat is de werkelijke opzet, die media maken het de AIVD, MIVD en de afhankelijke reguliere media maar moeilijk. doordat ze vertellen wat er echt gebeurd in de wereld, i.p.v. de leugens te volgen, waarmee de VS en de westerse geheime diensten via de reguliere (massa-) media de wereld overspoelen………
