Haiti Can’t Breathe!

Former Haitian President Jovenel Moïse has now officially become a dictator and he’s done it with the support of the U.S. and Organization of American States (OAS). Tens of thousands of Haitians have taken to the streets demanding he step aside – they deserve our solidarity.

Haiti has been under constant pressure for over 200 years, all for the “crime” of freeing themselves from slavery and colonialism. Haiti can’t breathe and we cannot allow the U.S. and OAS to impose yet another dictatorship on our neighbors.

Tell President Biden and OAS Secretary General Almagro to keep their hands off Haiti!

Moïse’s term expired on February 7, but he unilaterally gave himself another year in office. He dissolved Parliament, illegally fired Supreme Court Justices and other officials who opposed him, and jailed opposition figures. The Haitian police have brutally suppressed protesters, including attacking journalists and committing a massacre.

Now Moïse is working with what’s known as the Core Group (the United Nations, OAS, European Union, Brazil, Canada France, Germany, Spain and U.S.) to rewrite Haiti’s constitution. It’s worth noting that the UN trained Haiti’s police forces and also brought cholera that ended up killing 30,000 Haitians. Without this key support from outside powers, the Haitian people would likely have overthrown his corrupt government.

De VS oorlog tegen ‘landelijk terrorisme’ is een definitieve stap naar een volledige politiestaat…….

De enorme hysterie in de VS na de bestorming van Capitol Hill en het Capitol, gevoed met angst door vooral de reguliere media, is het laatste instrument voor Joe Biden en z’n psychopathische administratie om maatregelen door te voeren die een eind zullen maken aan burgerrechten als:

  • vrijheid van meningsuiting

  • het recht om te demonstreren

  • het recht om fout overheidsbeleid te weerleggen

  • het recht om jezelf te verdedigen (een omkering van bewijslast, je bent zonder meer schuldig en probeer maar te bewijzen dat dit niet zo is, althans als je die kans al krijgt…..)

  • het recht op verantwoording en transparantie van de overheid

  • het recht op privacy (al is daar al praktisch niets van over)

  • het recht op een onafhankelijke pers (die is al lang ter grave gedragen en de reguliere [afhankelijke] media roepen zelfs om censuur op de sociale media en de rest van het net, censuur die zelfs al wordt toegepast, óók in ons land…..)

  • het recht op vereniging (wat hier zwaar geweld wordt aangedaan met de Coronamaatregelen…)

  • het recht op lichamelijke integriteit

  • het recht op een representatieve volksvertegenwoordiging

Al deze zaken hadden in de VS al ‘aan glans verloren’ door het aannemen van de Patriot Act na de aanslagen van 11 september 2001 (9/11), een wet die al in 1995 werd opgesteld door de huidige president Joe Biden, onder de naam: ‘Omnibus Counterterrorism Act…..’ ‘Patriot Act II’ ofwel de: Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act (DTPA), die de Biden administratie voorbereidt, is de definitieve oorlogsverklaring, niet aan landelijke terreur, maar aan iedere VS burger en aan het laatste restje democratie in dat middels een genocide gestolen land).

Het is duidelijk dat deze nieuwe ‘War on Terror’ niet alleen een oorlog is die iedere VS burger kan treffen, maar die zoals gezegd definitief een eind zal maken aan de al meer dan waardeloze democratie is zoals de VS die nu nog kent…..

Volgens Michael McGarrity, opperhoofdsmeerpijp van de FBI afdeling van contraterrorisme, ziet de FBI ‘huiselijk terrorisme’ in de volgende 4 zaken:

  • raciaal gemotiveerd gewelddadig extremisme

  • anti regerings/autoriteit extremisme

  • dierenrechten en milieu extremisme

  • abortus extremisme

Ofwel als je gezichtspunten onderschrijft die tegengesteld zijn aan wat de regering of andere autoriteiten (als de FBI, NSA of andere geheime diensten >> de VS heeft er meer dan 25) voorstaan, kan je worden aangemerkt als een ‘binnenlandse terrorist’ en als zodanig worden behandeld (dat geldt dan bijvoorbeeld voor Black Lives Matter [BLM] activisten….)….. Moet je nagaan: dan is de VS de eerste die altijd met een beschuldigende (vieze hypocriete) vinger wijst naar landen waar men hetzelfde omgaat met deze zaken…..

De VS heeft al organisaties opgetuigd die ‘misdaden’ (‘misdaden’ als dierenactivisme) moeten voorkomen, dit gebeurt middels 78 fusion centra, die zaken verbinden op federaal niveau (FBI, justitie), regionaal en lokaal gebied, maar ook middels centra die data verzamelen, met hulp van: -gedragswetenschappers, -bedrijven, -de sociale media (Facebook, Twitter enz.) en -‘gemeenschapsorganisatoren’, dit alles ondersteund met de nieuwste technieken, uiteraard ook op het gebied van kunstmatige intelligentie, gezichtsherkenning, biometrie (identificatiemethoden op basis van unieke lichaamskenmerken) en gedragsepigenetica (met wie men kan zien welke ervaringen tijdens het leven het genetische beeld verouderen)……. Met name die nieuwe technieken vromen een groot gevaar voor alle burgerrechten, daar controle van de massa’s tegenwoordig steeds makkelijker wordt, neem alle camera’s in steden en dorpen, het ‘live scannen’ van internetverkeer en ga nog maar een half uur door…….

De Coronacrisis is als olie op het vuur van antidemocratische maatregelen en ook de rest van het westen moet oppassen niet als makke schapen achter de VS aan te lopen en maatregelen van de VS over te nemen, maatregelen die ook hier de democratie volkomen zullen uithollen (immers vergeet niet dat de andere westerse landen maar wat graag antidemocratische maatregelen uit de VS overnemen, niet in de laatste plaats daar deze het regeren [per decreet] vergemakkelijken en totale controle van het volk mogelijk maken, waarbij de reguliere media grote propagandisten zijn van dergelijke maatregelen, zoals ze ook voor censuur zijn op de sociale media en zelfs op het hele internet……

The Government’s War on Domestic Terrorism Is a Trap

What characteristics are we looking for as we are building this profile of a potential extremist, what are we talking about? Religious extremists, are we talking about Christians, evangelical Christians, what is a religious extremist? Is it somebody who is pro-life? [The proposed legislation could create] a very dangerous undermining of our civil liberties, our freedoms in our Constitution, and a targeting of almost half of the country.”—Tulsi Gabbard, former Congresswoman

January 31, 2021 “Information Clearing House” – This is how it begins.

We are moving fast down that slippery slope to an authoritarian society in which the only opinions, ideas and speech expressed are the ones permitted by the government and its corporate cohorts.

In the wake of the Jan. 6 riots at the Capitol, “domestic terrorism” has become the new poster child for expanding the government’s powers at the expense of civil liberties.

Of course, “domestic terrorist” is just the latest bull’s eye phrase, to be used interchangeably with “anti-government,” “extremist” and “terrorist,” to describe anyone who might fall somewhere on a very broad spectrum of viewpoints that could be considered “dangerous.”

Watch and see: we are all about to become enemies of the state.

In a déjà vu mirroring of the legislative fall-out from 9/11, and the ensuing build-up of the security state, there is a growing demand in certain sectors for the government to be given expanded powers to root out “domestic” terrorism, the Constitution be damned.

If this is a test of Joe Biden’s worthiness to head up the American police state, he seems ready.

As part of his inaugural address, President Biden pledged to confront and defeat “a rise of political extremism, white supremacy, domestic terrorism.” Biden has also asked the Director of National Intelligence to work with the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in carrying out a “comprehensive threat assessment” of domestic terrorism. And then to keep the parallels going, there is the proposed Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act of 2021, introduced after the Jan. 6 riots, which aims to equip the government with “the tools to identify, monitor and thwart” those who could become radicalized to violence.

Don’t blink or you’ll miss the sleight of hand.

This is the tricky part of the Deep State’s con game that keeps you focused on the shell game in front of you while your wallet is being picked clean by ruffians in your midst.

It follows the same pattern as every other convenient “crisis” used by the government as an excuse to expand its powers at the citizenry’s expense and at the expense of our freedoms.

As investigative journalist Glenn Greenwald warns:

“The last two weeks have ushered in a wave of new domestic police powers and rhetoric in the name of fighting ‘terrorism’ that are carbon copies of many of the worst excesses of the first War on Terror that began nearly twenty years ago. This New War on Terror—one that is domestic in name from the start and carries the explicit purpose of fighting ‘extremists’ and ‘domestic terrorists’ among American citizens on U.S. soil—presents the whole slew of historically familiar dangers when governments, exploiting media-generated fear and dangers, arm themselves with the power to control information, debate, opinion, activism and protests.”

Greenwald is referring to the USA Patriot Act, passed almost 20 years ago, which paved the way for the eradication of every vital safeguard against government overreach, corruption and abuse.

Free speech, the right to protest, the right to challenge government wrongdoing, due process, a presumption of innocence, the right to self-defense, accountability and transparency in government, privacy, press, sovereignty, assembly, bodily integrity, representative government: all of these and more have become casualties in the government’s war on the American people, a war that has grown more pronounced since Sept. 11, 2001.

Some members of Congress get it.

In a letter opposing expansion of national security powers, a handful congressional representatives urged their colleagues not to repeat the mistakes of the past:

“While many may find comfort in increased national security powers in the wake of this attack, we must emphasize that we have been here before and we have seen where that road leads. Our history is littered with examples of initiatives sold as being necessary to fight extremism that quickly devolve into tools used for the mass violation of the human and civil rights of the American people… To expand the government’s national security powers once again at the expense of the human and civil rights of the American people would only serve to further undermine our democracy, not protect it.”

Cue the Emergency State, the government’s Machiavellian version of crisis management that justifies all manner of government tyranny in the so-called name of national security.

This is the power grab hiding in plain sight, obscured by the political machinations of the self-righteous elite. This is how the government continues to exploit crises and use them as opportunities for power grabs under the guise of national security. Indeed, this is exactly how the government added red flag gun laws, precrime surveillance, fusion centers, threat assessments, mental health assessments, involuntary confinement to its arsenal of weaponized powers.

The objective is not to make America safe again. That has never been the government’s aim.

Greenwald explains:

“Why would such new terrorism laws be needed in a country that already imprisons more of its citizens than any other country in the world as the result of a very aggressive set of criminal laws? What acts should be criminalized by new ‘domestic terrorism’ laws that are not already deemed criminal? They never say, almost certainly because—just as was true of the first set of new War on Terror laws—their real aim is to criminalize that which should not be criminalized: speech, association, protests, opposition to the new ruling coalition.”

So you see, the issue is not whether Donald Trump or Roger Stone or MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell deserve to be banned from Twitter, even if they’re believed to be spouting misinformation, hateful ideas, or fomenting discontent.

Rather, we should be asking whether any corporation or government agency or entity representing a fusion of the two should have the power to muzzle, silence, censor, regulate, control and altogether eradicate so-called “dangerous” or “extremist” ideas.

This unilateral power to muzzle free speech represents a far greater danger than any so-called right- or left-wing extremist might pose.

The ramifications are so far-reaching as to render almost every American an extremist in word, deed, thought or by association.

Yet where many go wrong is in assuming that you have to be doing something illegal or challenging the government’s authority in order to be flagged as a suspicious character, labeled an enemy of the state and locked up like a dangerous criminal.

Eventually, all you will really need to do is use certain trigger words, surf the internet, communicate using a cell phone, drive a car, stay at a hotel, purchase materials at a hardware store, take flying or boating lessons, appear suspicious, question government authority, or generally live in the United States.

The groundwork has already been laid.

The trap is set.

All that is needed is the right bait.

With the help of automated eyes and ears, a growing arsenal of high-tech software, hardware and techniques, government propaganda urging Americans to turn into spies and snitches, as well as social media and behavior sensing software, government agents have been busily spinning a sticky spider-web of threat assessments, behavioral sensing warnings, flagged “words,” and “suspicious” activity reports aimed at snaring potential enemies of the state.

It’s the American police state’s take on the dystopian terrors foreshadowed by George Orwell, Aldous Huxley and Phillip K. Dick all rolled up into one oppressive pre-crime and pre-thought crime package.

What’s more, the technocrats who run the surveillance state don’t even have to break a sweat while monitoring what you say, what you read, what you write, where you go, how much you spend, whom you support, and with whom you communicate. Computers by way of AI (artificial intelligence) now do the tedious work of trolling social media, the internet, text messages and phone calls for potentially anti-government remarks, all of which is carefully recorded, documented, and stored to be used against you someday at a time and place of the government’s choosing.

For instance, police in major American cities have been using predictive policing technology that allows them to identify individuals—or groups of individuals—most likely to commit a crime in a given community. Those individuals are then put on notice that their movements and activities will be closely monitored and any criminal activity (by them or their associates) will result in harsh penalties.

In other words, the burden of proof is reversed: you are guilty before you are given any chance to prove you are innocent.

Dig beneath the surface of this kind of surveillance/police state, however, and you will find that the real purpose of pre-crime is not safety but control.

Red flag gun laws merely push us that much closer towards a suspect society where everyone is potentially guilty of some crime or another and must be preemptively rendered harmless.

This is the same government that has a growing list—shared with fusion centers and law enforcement agencies—of ideologies, behaviors, affiliations and other characteristics that could flag someone as suspicious and result in their being labeled potential enemies of the state.

For instance, if you believe in and exercise your rights under the Constitution (namely, your right to speak freely, worship freely, associate with like-minded individuals who share your political views, criticize the government, own a weapon, demand a warrant before being questioned or searched, or any other activity viewed as potentially anti-government, racist, bigoted, anarchic or sovereign), you could be at the top of the government’s terrorism watch list.

Moreover, as a New York Times editorial warns, you may be an anti-government extremist (a.k.a. domestic terrorist) in the eyes of the police if you are afraid that the government is plotting to confiscate your firearms, if you believe the economy is about to collapse and the government will soon declare martial law, or if you display an unusual number of political and/or ideological bumper stickers on your car.

According to one FBI latest report, you might also be classified as a domestic terrorism threat if you espouse conspiracy theories, especially if you “attempt to explain events or circumstances as the result of a group of actors working in secret to benefit themselves at the expense of others” and are “usually at odds with official or prevailing explanations of events.”

Additionally, according to Michael C. McGarrity, the FBI’s assistant director of the counterterrorism division, the bureau now “classifies domestic terrorism threats into four main categories: racially motivated violent extremism, anti-government/anti-authority extremism, animal rights/environmental extremism, and abortion extremism.”

In other words, if you dare to subscribe to any views that are contrary to the government’s, you may well be suspected of being a domestic terrorist and treated accordingly.

Again, where many Americans go wrong is in naively assuming that you have to be doing something illegal or harmful in order to be flagged and targeted for some form of intervention or detention.

In fact, U.S. police agencies have been working to identify and manage potential extremist “threats,” violent or otherwise, before they can become actual threats for some time now.

In much the same way that the USA Patriot Act was used as a front to advance the surveillance state, allowing the government to establish a far-reaching domestic spying program that turned every American citizen into a criminal suspect, the government’s anti-extremism program renders otherwise lawful, nonviolent activities as potentially extremist.

In fact, all you need to do these days to end up on a government watch list or be subjected to heightened scrutiny is use certain trigger words (like cloud, pork and pirates), surf the internet, communicate using a cell phone, limp or stutter, drive a car, stay at a hotel, attend a political rally, express yourself on social media, appear mentally ill, serve in the military, disagree with a law enforcement official, call in sick to work, purchase materials at a hardware store, take flying or boating lessons, appear suspicious, appear confused or nervous, fidget or whistle or smell bad, be seen in public waving a toy gun or anything remotely resembling a gun (such as a water nozzle or a remote control or a walking cane), stare at a police officer, question government authority, or appear to be pro-gun or pro-freedom.

Be warned: once you get on such a government watch list—whether it’s a terrorist watch list, a mental health watch list, a dissident watch list, or a red flag gun watch list—there’s no clear-cut way to get off, whether or not you should actually be on there.

You will be tracked wherever you go.

You will be flagged as a potential threat and dealt with accordingly.

This is pre-crime on an ideological scale and it’s been a long time coming.

The government has been building its pre-crime, surveillance network in concert with fusion centers (of which there are 78 nationwide, with partners in the corporate sector and globally), data collection agencies, behavioral scientists, corporations, social media, and community organizers and by relying on cutting-edge technology for surveillance, facial recognition, predictive policing, biometrics, and behavioral epigenetics (in which life experiences alter one’s genetic makeup).

If you’re not scared yet, you should be.

Connect the dots.

Start with the powers amassed by the government under the USA Patriot Act, note the government’s ever-broadening definition of what it considers to be an “extremist,” then add in the government’s detention powers under NDAA*, the National Security Agency’s far-reaching surveillance networks, and fusion centers that collect and share surveillance data between local, state and federal police agencies.

To that, add tens of thousands of armed, surveillance drones and balloons that are beginning to blanket American skies, facial recognition technology that will identify and track you wherever you go and whatever you do. And then to complete the picture, toss in the real-time crime centers being deployed in cities across the country, which will be attempting to “predict” crimes and identify so-called criminals before they happen based on widespread surveillance, complex mathematical algorithms and prognostication programs.

Hopefully you’re starting to understand how easy we’ve made it for the government to identify, label, target, defuse and detain anyone it views as a potential threat for a variety of reasons that run the gamut from mental illness to having a military background to challenging its authority to just being on the government’s list of persona non grata.

There’s always a price to pay for standing up to the powers-that-be.

Yet as I make clear in my book Battlefield America: The War on the American People, you don’t even have to be a dissident to get flagged by the government for surveillance, censorship and detention.

All you really need to be is a citizen of the American police state.

CIA doodseskaders richten bloedbaden aan onder burgers van Afghanistan: Biden zal deze eskaders ongemoeid laten

De door de CIA georganiseerde en geregisseerde doodseskaders in Afghanistan richten bloedbaden aan onder de burgers en terroriseren de bevolking. Als Biden over een dag of tien aan het bewind komt zou hij direct een eind moeten maken aan deze terreur en massamoorden…..

Uit een onlangs op The Intercept gepubliceerd rapport blijkt dat deze doodseskaders in verschillende Afghaanse provincies een systematisch moordprogramma uitvoeren……

In 2019 tijdens een periode van 6 maanden werden meer dan 50 burgers vermoord, inclusief vrouwen en kinderen dit in 10 verschillende bloedbaden en deze cijfers komen nog maar uit 1 provincie………

Het verantwoordelijke doodseskader, aangeduid als ‘Unit 01’ bestaat uit Afghaans ‘personeel’ (terroristen) en zijn getraind en bewapend door agenten uit de VS, zoals gezegd worden ze begeleid en staan onder commando van CIA agenten……. Deze illegale acties zouden door het Witte Huis zijn goedgekeurd en worden uitgevoerd onder de zogenaamde ‘Titel 50 militaire code’, zodat deze figuren niet voor hun vreselijke oorlogsmisdaden kunnen worden vervolgd…….

De gekozen president Biden beklaagt zich erover dat hij van Trump geen toegang krijgt tot instructies op het gebied van nationale veiligheid (waaronder deze afschuwelijke oorlogsmisdaden belachelijk genoeg schijnen te vallen, alsof ze in de VS worden uitgevoerd….). Welnu als Biden straks in het Witte Huis trekt kan hij zijn lol op! Hij zal worden geïnformeerd over het ‘anti-terreurprogramma’ en de daarvoor gebruikte doodseskaders en hij zal voor de keus komen te staan dit programma te blijven steunen of te stoppen, een programma dat juist het tegenovergestelde is van wat het zou moeten zijn, dus i.p.v. terreur te bestrijden, oefent men schrikbarende terreur uit op de Afghaanse bevolking die zoals uit onderzoek blijkt, niets te maken heeft met de strijd van de Taliban en zoals het zich laat aanzien die van ISIS….. (al is die VS terreur dan weer niet vreemd, immers dat ‘land’ is verreweg de grootste terreurentiteit ter wereld, waarbij je niet moet vergeten dat ook de oorlog tegen het Afghaanse volk in feite illegaal was en is, terreur van de ergste soort…..) Dan te bedenken dat men zich vooral in het westen druk maakt over de bestorming van het Capitol…….

Het bewijs voor deze CIA terreur is overweldigend, meerdere getuigen, zoals dorpsleiders en veiligheidsbeambten spreken over door VS officieren geleide doodseskaders, hetzelfde geld voor andere Units als Unit 01, die in andere Afghaanse provincies opereren…. Ook worden chinook helikopters en straaljagers van de VS gebruikt tijdens deze operaties, zogenaamd tegen Taliban kopstukken, echter zoals eerder gezegd belaagt men vooral de gewone bevolking…… Deze manier van ‘werken’ dateert al van 2017 toen striktere regels voor strijd werden losgelaten door de Trump administratie, die clandestiene operaties nog meer steunde dan voorheen onder Obama en George W. Bush….. (ook destijds werden geheime militaire acties uitgevoerd onder bevel van de CIA, al was dat overwegend met militairen uit de VS, dan wel militairen van particuliere organisaties uit datzelfde ‘land…’)

De kans dat Biden een eind zal maken aan deze smerige oorlogsmisdaden is zeer klein, niet in de laatste plaats daar de opvolgende presidenten CIA acties die dateren van de vorige administratie gewoon laten doorgaan….. Bovendien wilde Biden als vicepresident onder Obama een meer agressieve aanpak van Afghanistan…… Een teken aan de wand wat dat betreft is wel dat Biden op de hoogte zou zijn van deze illegale acties, maar daarvoor niet de Trump administratie op het spreekwoordelijke matje heeft geroepen, laat staan dat hij openlijk kritiek heeft geuit op deze oorlogsmisdaden ofwel vreselijke terreur……

Biden heeft overigens ook in zijn verkiezingscampagne gezegd dat hij de aanpak van Venezuela en Iran door de Trump administratie als zwak beoordeelt, dat belooft niet veel goeds voor de Afghaanse bevolking, immers als hij de CIA terreur zou veroordelen en stoppen, zou hij volgens eigen inzicht en beschuldigingen aan het adres van de Trump administratie tegelijk laten zien zwak te zijn als het om Afghanistan gaat…..

Biden & CIA Death Squads

December 31, 2020 “Information Clearing House” – CIA-backed death squads are running amok in Afghanistan, murdering civilians and terrorizing the population. When Joe Biden becomes president in three weeks, he should prioritize ending this “Murder Inc.”

A newly published investigative report has uncovered a systematic assassination program conducted by the CIA in several provinces across Afghanistan.

In just one six-month period during 2019, it was found that over 50 civilians, including women and children, were murdered in 10 separate massacres studied, according to author Andrew Quilty. That was merely a sample of killings in one province, Wardak.

The death squad, known as “Unit 01”, comprises locally recruited Afghans but they are trained, equipped and directed by American operatives.

There is no doubt that the clandestine CIA operation would have top-level clearance from the White House. It is carried out under so-called “Title 50” military code which shields the operatives from prosecution of war crimes. Only the president can sign off on that level of clearance.

Joe Biden, the incoming Democrat president-elect, has complained that the incumbent Trump administration has denied him access to classified national security briefings. Well, Biden will soon get full access after his inauguration on January 20. In that case, the new president will inevitably be apprised of the Afghan “counter-terror operations” and its death squads. He faces a choice on whether to terminate the program.

The evidence for the CIA murder operations is overwhelming. Afghan community leaders and security officials testified that “Unit 01” and its counterparts in other provinces are run by shadowy American officers who accompany the death squads during their raids on villages and farms.

Dozens of Afghan residents and survivors of the attacks also describe US-led operations.

Furthermore, the death squads are supported with US Chinook transport helicopters, fighter planes, gunships and drones.

The official American position is that its military forces are tasked with defeating the Taliban militants who oppose the US-backed regime in Kabul. But the killings carried out by the CIA-led squads target civilians in what appears to be a bludgeoning policy of terrorism and intimidation. In most of the atrocities investigated there were no links between the victims and the Taliban.

Under Donald Trump and then head of the CIA, Mike Pompeo, who later became Secretary of State, the US military operations in Afghanistan underwent a shift in late 2017. There was more emphasis on clandestine operations and a loosening of rules of engagement.

During Trump’s term in office, there has been a huge surge in civilian deaths in Afghanistan, partly from increased airstrikes, but also from the CIA death squads running amok. At the same time, however, Trump has crowed about withdrawing conventional troops from Afghanistan under a supposed peace deal with the Taliban. This has allowed the Republican president to claim that he is delivering on election promises to wind down overseas wars like Afghanistan – which at two decades’ duration is the longest foreign war ever waged by the United States.

What Joe Biden does about this remains to be seen, but the signals are not good. For a start, almost every American president has signed off on CIA murder programs, from Guatemala and Iran in the 1950s, to Cuba and Vietnam in the 1960s, to El Salvador and Nicaragua in the 1970s and 80s, and many, many more besides. It’s a routine part of the dirty business of being an American president.

That’s why it is so contemptible and absurd for Biden and others to have lambasted Trump over unsubstantiated US media reports of Russia allegedly running bounty-hunter schemes in Afghanistan to kill American troops. There was never any evidence for such a fable, which even the Pentagon was obliged to dismiss as unfounded. And as usual, the media furore evaporated as quickly as it erupted, belying its credibility.

Meanwhile, it emerges that under Trump’s watch the Americans have been carrying out systematic assassinations of Afghan civilians with CIA death squads. Where are Biden’s condemnations?

Biden is associated with urging former President Barack Obama to take a more aggressive military line in Afghanistan when he was vice president (2008-2016). Biden favoured “kick-the-door-down” night raids by special forces. It is therefore very unlikely that he will repudiate the Murder Inc which Trump has unleashed in Afghanistan.

What Biden brings to the new White House regime is an extra layer of moral corruption and hypocrisy under the guise of being a “liberal Democrat”.

Biden neemt bestuurslid van wapenfabrikant Raytheon als minister van ‘defensie’: garantie op bloedvergieten

Eerder werd voorspeld dat Joe Biden, de gekozen president van de VS voor de komende 4 jaar, de bloeddorstige psychopaat Michele Flournoy zou benoemen als minister op de post van defensie* (lees: van oorlog), echter de keus schijnt volgens de reguliere (massa) media in de VS te zijn gevallen op de gekleurde ex-generaal Lloyd J. Austin III.

Niet dat de keus een volkomen ander beleid op defensie (lees: oorlogsvoering) zal worden ingezet met Austin, daar ook deze figuur een gewelddadige psychopaat is, die zijn sporen in het bloedvergieten ruim heeft verdiend, zo heeft hij o.a. als opperhoofd van Central Command (CENTCOM) actief gelobbyd om de ‘rebellen’ in Syrië te bewapenen, ‘zodat ze ISIS konden bevechten’ (‘rebellen’ ofwel psychopathische moordenaars, verkrachters, martelbeulen en slavenhandelaren)….. Strijden tegen ISIS? De zogenaamde rebellen waren minstens zo gewelddadig als terreurgroep ISIS en de opzet van de VS was van meet af aan dat deze ‘rebellen’ juist tegen het bewind van Assad zouden vechten, de belangrijkste reden voor de VS om een opstand in Syrië te organiseren die had moeten leiden tot de afzetting van Assad…… De VS heeft zelfs groepen van ISIS strijders (en andere terreurgroepen) vervoerd van Libië naar Syrië (met een tussenstop in Irak, waarna ze met wapens, munitie en rollend oorlogstuig over de grens met Syrië werden begeleid….)……

Verder stond Austin achter het plan om VS militairen te vrijwaren van vervolging voor het begaan van oorlogsmisdaden in Afghanistan….. Daarnaast heeft hij een belangrijke rol gespeeld bij de illegale oorlog van de VS tegen Irak en is hij lid van een hedgefonds dat investeerde in defensiecontractanten als de eerder genoemde Flournoy en de komenden minister van buitenlandse zaken onder Biden, oorlogshitser Tony Blinken……

Misschien wel het meest belachelijke is het feit dat Austin bestuurslid is van oorlogstuig fabrikant Raytheon, dat jaarlijks miljoenen spendeert om te lobbyen bij de VS regering voor contracten en zoveel mogelijk oorlogen……

Caitlin Johnstone die het hieronder opgenomen artikel schreef komt weer lekker sarcastisch uit de hoek en stelt voor om gewoon meteen de firma Raytheon aan te stellen als minister van oorlog, immers bedrijven zijn in de VS rechtspersonen….. Ze suggereert meteen om dit ook te doen met Goldman Sachs als minister van financiën, Exxon Mobile als hoofd van EPA (een organisatie die gaat over milieuvervuiling in de grootste zin van dat woord), Amazon als directeur van de CIA en tot slot Google als directeur van National Intelligence (die gaat over de vele geheime diensten die de VS ‘rijk is’).

Terecht merkt Caitlin op dat het een schande is dat oorlogswinstmakers die pleiten voor meer geweld en bloedvergieten op dergelijke posities worden gezet (de vorige minister van defensie werkte ook al voor Raytheon en was top-lobbyist in Washington als vicepresident voor regeringsrelaties)…… Deze schoften op dergelijk hoge posities in een regering zijn gebaat bij zoveel mogelijk oorlog en bloedvergieten, ofwel ook met Austin zal de VS zich te buiten gaan aan grootschalige terreur die gezien de (recente) geschiedenis garant staat voor massamoorden, verkrachting, marteling, diefstal en grootschalige vernieling (en dat in landen waar noch de VS, noch haar NAVO-bondgenoten, ook maar iets te zoeken hebben….)…..

The mass media are reporting that the Biden camp has selected former general Lloyd J. Austin III to be the next secretary of defense, assuaging fears among antiwar activists that the position would go to bloodthirsty psychopath Michele Flournoy as commonly predicted.

As has become the standard ritual for Biden’s cabinet picks, the mass media are holding a parade to celebrate the fact that Austin would be the first Black chief of the US war machine while virtually ignoring the murderous agendas he has facilitated throughout his career. As head of Central Command Austin actively campaigned to resurrect the Pentagon’s spectacularly failed program of trying to arm “rebels” in Syria to fight ISIS, and in 2014 he backed immunity for US troops from war crimes prosecutions by the government of Afghanistan. He helped spearhead the Iraq invasion, and he is a member of the same private equity fund which invests in defense contractors as Flournoy and Biden’s warmongering pick for Secretary of State Tony Blinken.

Austin is also a member of the board of directors for the war profiteering corporation Raytheon, where he went immediately after his military career. Raytheon spends millions of dollars a year actively lobbying the US government to advance policies which are beneficial to the multibillion-dollar arms manufacturing giant, which of course means lobbying for military expansionism and interventionism. The previous Secretary of Defense Mark Esper also worked for Raytheon, working for years as one of the top corporate lobbyists in DC under the position “Vice President for Government Relations“.

And you know what? I say why not.

Seriously, why not? Why shouldn’t the head of the US murder machine come from a corporation which has made billions of dollars facilitating war crimes in Yemen? Why shouldn’t the most depraved and bloodthirsty regime on this planet have its depravity and bloodshed advanced by a professional war profiteer? The mass military slaughter of the US and its allies has only ever been about power and profit, so why not be honest about it?

Hell, why stop there? Why not make Raytheon itself the Secretary of State? Didn’t the Supreme Court rule that corporations are people anyway? Make Raytheon the Secretary of Defense, make Goldman Sachs the Secretary Treasurer, make ExxonMobil the head of the EPA, make Amazon the CIA Director and Google the Director of National Intelligence. Then you’d have a completely honest face on the head of the US empire.

It’s absolutely insane that our world is being dominated by war profiteers who actively push for more violence and bloodshed because they make money selling the weapons used to perpetrate it. It’s no less evil than if plutocrats were cruising the world murdering people and selling their skins for money; the same number of people would be killed for the same profit incentive, yet people who would recoil in horror at that idea pay no mind to the fact that functionally the same thing is happening with corporate powers like Raytheon.

The only difference between the US war machine and a band of armed crooks murdering people for money is that the US war machine does it at a far greater scale. As long as that’s going on there’s no reason to pretend otherwise. Hopefully people start looking past the smiley faced mask of the empire and begin opening their eyes to the blood-spattered face beneath it.

Jemen: zijn wij niet met z’n allen de terroristen die zovelen al een afschuwelijke dood bezorgden?

Caitlin Johnstone heeft een artikel geschreven waarin ze stelt dat als het bijvoorbeeld om Jemen gaat, wij de terroristen zijn. In zekere zin haalt ze met deze stelling haar gelijk, immers onze (westerse) regeringen ondernemen geen actie tegen de Saoedische terreurcoalitie (sterker nog men levert zelfs wapens aan de grootste dader Saoedi-Arabie en wij laten dit gebeuren…..)……. We kijken nog wel even op als er een spaarzaam bericht met bijvoorbeeld weer een waarschuwing van VN baas Guterres volgt waarin hij de wereld wijst op het vreselijke lot van de sjiitische bevolking van Jemen, maar vervolgen gewoon weer ons dagelijkse leven na te hebben verzucht dat het vreselijk is wat er in Jemen gebeurt……

Vreemd dat Caitlin niet spreekt over genocide, terwijl die intussen al bijna 6 jaar gaande is en waarbij niet 233.000 mensen zijn overleden zoals de VN inschat (een cijfer dat Caitlin aanhoudt), maar minstens 500.000, waaronder ten minste 100.000 kinderen……

Een paar jaar geleden liet Rutte 3 en dan m.n. zijne VVD leeghoofdige hufterigheid Blok (minister van BuZa) weten dat er geen sprake was van wapenleveringen waarvoor hij een vergunning had afgegeven, maar van wapenonderdelen en die vallen volgens de schoft niet onder de wapenboycot tegen de reli-fascistische terreurstaat Saoedi-Arabië…… Alleen daarvoor zou Blok al vervolgd moeten worden door het Internationaal Strafhof (ICC), maar dat strafhof is er vooral om gekleurde oorlogsmisdadigers te vervolgen……..

Zoals gezegd, het gaat niet alleen om de westerse politici die een genocide mogelijk maken (terwijl ze na Rwanda stelden dat dit nooit weer zou worden toegestaan….), maar ook wij zijn verantwoordelijk daar we niet in opstand komen tegen onze inhumane neoliberale regeringen voor wie geld verdienen belangrijker is dan mensenlevens, zelfs als die levens van kinderen zijn……

Wat de VS aangaat is er al helemaal geen excuus meer, deze grootste terreurentiteit op aarde, steunt de Saoedische terreurcoalitie, zowel militair als middels wapenleveranties. Zo helpt de VS als Groot-Brittannië mee aan de genocide in Jemen, door het trainen van de Saoedische militairen, de VS gaat nog verder dan GB doordat het land meehelpt aan de zeeblokkade van havens die in handen zijn van de Houthi rebellen, zodat er geen voedsel, water,medicijnen en brandstof kan worden geleverd……. Het gaat hier om rebellen die het sjiitische volk proberen te beschermen tegen het grootschalige geweld van die terreurcoalitie…… Voorts is de VS af en aan met speciale troepen op Jemenitische bodem om te vechten tegen de Houthi’s…… Tot voor een paar jaar voorzag de VS het vliegend oorlogstuig van de terreurcoalitie van brandstof tijdens de vluchten (en dat gratis!!), zodat men zo effectief mogelijk kon bombarderen, voorts regelde de VS de coördinatie van de bombardementen met haar AWACS vliegtuigen en als ik me niet vergis doet de VS dat nog steeds…….

We Are The Terrorists

The Trump administration is reportedly close to moving the Houthi rebels in Yemen onto its official list of designated terrorist organizations with the goal of choking them off from money and resources. The head of the UN’s World Food Program along with many other experts caution that this designation will prolong the horrific war which has claimed over a quarter million lives and create an impenetrable barrier of red tape stopping humanitarian aid from getting to the Yemeni people.

The United Nations conservatively estimates that some 233,000 Yemenis have been killed in the war between the Houthis and the US-backed Saudi-led coalition, mostly from what it calls “indirect causes”. Those indirect causes would be disease and starvation resulting from what UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres calls “the worst famine the world has seen for decades”.

When people hear the word “famine” they usually think of mass hunger caused by droughts or other naturally occurring phenomena, but in reality the starvation deaths we are seeing in Yemen (a huge percentage of which are children under the age of five) are caused by something that is no more natural than the starvation deaths you’d see in a medieval siege. They are the result of the Saudi coalition’s use of blockades and its deliberate targeting of farms, fishing boats, marketplaces, food storage sites, and cholera treatment centers with airstrikes aimed at making the Houthi-controlled parts of Yemen so weak and miserable that they break.

In other words, the US and its allies have been helping Saudi Arabia deliberately kill children and other civilians on mass scale in order to achieve a political goal. Which would of course be a perfect example of any standard definition of terrorism.

The idea of the unfathomably savage and bloodthirsty US empire designating the Houthis as a terrorist organization is the least funny joke that has ever been told.

We are the terrorists. I say “we” instead of our governments because if we are honest with ourselves, we as a civilian population are complicit in this slaughter. The horrors in Yemen are without question the worst thing that is happening in the world right now, yet they comprise barely a blip in our social consciousness. The overwhelming majority of us have seen the pictures and videos of starving Yemeni children, thought something along the lines of “Oh a famine, that’s so sad” and gone back to thinking about sports or whatever other insipid nonsense occupies most of our attention.

We are the terrorists. Yes it is true that we have been propagandized into our complicity with this terrorism and if the news media were doing its purported job Yemen would be front and center in our attention, but we are still complicit. We are still participating in it, still living in a society that is woven of the fabric of slaughter and brutality without rising up and using the power of our numbers to force a change. Just because you are unaware that you sleep on a bed of butchered children doesn’t mean you’re not lying in it.

We are the terrorists. But we don’t need to be.

We can begin waking up together. Waking up our friends and neighbors, spreading consciousness of what’s going on, raising awareness of the horrors our governments are perpetrating in Yemen and in other nations in the name of imperialist domination, helping each other see through the veils of propaganda to how much life and how many resources are being spent on inflicting unspeakable acts of terror upon our world instead of benefiting humanity.

The US government could force an end to the horrors in Yemen almost immediately if it really wanted to. If maintaining unipolar hegemony were suddenly advanced by giving the Houthis victory in Yemen instead of fighting to ensure Washington-aligned rule, the Saudis would withdraw and the war would be over within days. We could make this happen if we could spread enough awareness of the reality of what’s happening in Yemen.

Terwijl er in Washington een gerucht rondgaat dat Trump nog voor zijn aftreden Iran zal aanvallen, zijn er een aantal grote B52 Stratofortress bommenwerpers gespot die richting Israël vlogen om via het luchtruim van die terreurstaat door te vliegen naar Qatar….. Met ‘tracking software’ kon men deze bommenwerpers volgen, waar de piloten voor het Israëlische luchtruim de transponders hebben uitgezet zodat men dit vliegend oorlogstuig niet langer kon volgen……

US Central Command (CENTCOM) stelt dat de vliegtuigen ter afschrikking werden gestuurd en om de veiligheid van partners en geallieerden te waarborgen…… (de veiligheid van terreurstaten: Saoedi-Arabië, Israël, VAE en de andere westerse NAVO-lidstaten die terreur uitoefenen in het Midden-Oosten, waartoe binnenkort ook weer Nederland zal behoren…..)

Ter afschrikking van Iran, niet dat dit land zoals de VS zelf de ene na de andere illegale oorlog start, maar omdat Iran, naast Irak en Syrië, een staat is die het opneemt voor de sjiieten die bijvoorbeeld middels een genocide in Jemen worden uitgemoord door Saoedi-Arabië, de Verenigde Arabische Emiraten (VAE) en dat met militaire hulp van de VS en Groot-Brittannië…… Zonder enig bewijs stellen deze terreurstaten dat Iran de Houthi’s in Jemen militair terzijde staat, een leugen van enorme proporties!!

Over Saoedi-Arabië en de VS moet nog gezegd worden dat deze diverse terreurgroepen in het Midden-Oosten steunen, waaronder IS (ISIS)…… Zo houdt de VS de belangrijkste olievelden van Syrië bezet, een gebied waar zich meerdere terreurgroepen bevinden, waaronder een groot aantal IS leden……. Terwijl juist deze twee staten, de VS en S-A verantwoordelijk zijn voor de vreselijke terreur die deze groepen hebben doen neerdalen op de bevolkingen van Libië, Irak en Syrië, heeft men het gore lef te stellen dat Iran de grote terrorist in het Midden-Oosten is……

Mocht het onder Trump niet tot een oorlog met Iran komen, zal Joe Biden, de gekozen president van de VS, deze taak graag overnemen, hij heeft de Trump administratie in het verleden meermaals slapheid verweten in het optreden tegen Iran en Venezuela en als je de terreur van de VS tegen deze landen ziet, sancties die in Venezuela al tot de dood van meer dan 50.000 mensen hebben geleid, kan dat maar één ding betekenen: oorlog!!!! (ook al heeft Biden beloofd dat hij de VS weer zal doen toetreden tot de partijen die de nucleaire deal met Iran sloten, echter het is maar zeer de vraag of hij dit werkelijk zal doen als je ziet wie hij wil aanstellen als ministers van defensie en buitenlandse zaken, beiden haviken die niet voor niets goed liggen bij de Republikeinen…..)

Het nieuws over het zenden van deze bommenwerpers dateert van 23 november, terwijl Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, de Iraanse atoomgeleerde, een paar dagen later werd vermoord, ofwel de VS was minstens op de hoogte van de terreuraanslag die het leven kostte aan Fakhrizadeh, sterker nog het nieuws over het zenden van bommenwerpers wijst juist op directe betrokkenheid van de VS bij deze aanslag, anders gezegd de kans is groot dat Fakhrizadeh werd vermoord door terreurorganisatie CIA (dat al jaren ondermijnende terreuracties uitvoert in Iran)…….. Het voorgaande sluit niet uit dat de Israëlische terreurorganisatie Mossad deze aanslag heeft uitgevoerd, immers de Mossad werkt maar al te vaak samen met de CIA……

Mijn excuus: na plaatsing toegevoegd voor meer duidelijkheid: de VS heeft deze bommenwerpers gestuurd daar men wraakacties van Iran verwachtte nadat de aanslag op Fakhrizadeh zou zijn gepleegd >> eerder al plaatste ik een bericht over deze moord, waarin terecht het vermoeden wordt uitgesproken door o.a. Move comes amid reports and speculation Trump administration may take military action against Tehran before Biden enters office

November 23, 2020 “Information Clearing House” – “Times Of Israel” -The United States this week rapidly deployed several heavy bombers to the Middle East this week in an apparent threat to Iran, amid swirling speculation that US President Donald Trump plans to take military action against Tehran before President-elect Joe Biden enters office.

US Central Command said the planes were sent into the region “to deter aggression and reassure US partners and allies.”

In a highly irregular move, the B-52H Stratofortress planes were seen flying toward Israeli airspace on Saturday en route to the base where they will be stationed, likely in Qatar. The aircraft were spotted on civilian tracking software approaching Israel before they apparently turned off their transponders, rendering them invisible on those applications.

It was the third time in the past year and a half that B-52 bombers, which are capable of carrying nuclear weapons and other powerful munitions, have been deployed to the region in tacit threats to Iran.

In previous cases, the bombers were not seeing flying through Israeli airspace. It was not immediately clear what accounted for the change in route.

The planes were ordered on short notice to fly to the Middle East nonstop from their home base in North Dakota, refueling along the way in mid-air. The bombers were accompanied on the mission by F-15 and F-16 fighter jets, as well as KC-10 and KC-135 refueling planes, US Central Command (CENTCOM) said.

“The ability to quickly move forces into, out of and around the theater to seize, retain and exploit the initiative is key to deterring potential aggression,” Lt. Gen. Greg Guillot, commander of the US military’s 9th Air Force, said in a statement.

The general said deploying bombers to the region allows their crews to better acquaint themselves with the area and work better with local units.

“These missions help bomber aircrews gain familiarity with the region’s airspace and command and control functions and allow them to integrate with the theater’s US and partner air assets, increasing the combined force’s overall readiness,” Guillot said.

The US has previously deployed B-52 bombers to the region during periods of heightened tensions. This occurred in early 2020 after the US killed top Iranian commander Qassem Soleimani in an airstrike in Iraq. The strategic aircraft were also sent to the region in May 2019, when Iran allegedly attacked a number of US allies in the Persian Gulf and shot down an American spy drone that flew near its airspace.

The deployment of the long-range heavy bombers came amid reports that the Trump administration — and Israel — planned to carry out military operations against Iran before Biden enters office. The US president-elect is expected to take a somewhat softer, more diplomatic approach than Trump, who pulled out of the 2015 nuclear deal world powers signed with Iran and employed a so-called “maximum pressure” campaign of heavy economic sanctions against the Islamic Republic.

Though analysts say this effort has created leverage for future negotiations, the tactic has not yet borne fruit in terms of halting Iran’s nuclear efforts — indeed the Islamic Republic has amassed far more nuclear material and at higher levels of enrichment under the campaign — nor has it curbed Tehran’s regional hegemony ambitions.

Biden, who was vice president to Barack Obama when the 2015 accord was signed, has said that he plans to return to the agreement as a basis for further negotiations with Iran.

The Trump administration is reportedly planning a bevy of wide-ranging sanctions on Iran to make it more difficult for the incoming administration to rejoin the nuclear deal.

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo visited the region over the past week, including a stop in Israel, in which he told the Jerusalem Post that the US would consider a military strike against Iran.

“The administration has been clear on that for its entire four years. There is no reason that would change today or tomorrow,” Pompeo said.

Last Friday, Channel 13 reported that Israel and the US were planning to increase pressure on Iran with “covert operations” and economic sanctions during Trump’s final weeks in office. Jerusalem and Washington assess that Tehran will not respond militarily before the end of Trump’s term, according to the unsourced report.

The report did not elaborate on the nature of actions that may be taken.

Among other covert operations against Iran’s rogue nuclear program, Israel and the US were reportedly responsible for introducing the Stuxnet computer virus to sabotage parts of Iran’s nuclear enrichment process a decade ago, and for more recent sabotage attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities. Israel’s Mossad spy agency spirited out a vast trove of Iranian documentation regarding the regime’s nuclear program, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu revealed in 2018. Israel has also been linked in reports to the killings of several Iranian nuclear scientists, and last week The New York Times reported that Israeli agents killed Al-Qaeda’s No. 2 Abu Muhammad al-Masri in Tehran in August at the behest of the US.

Last Monday, the Times reported that Trump had asked top advisers if he had options to strike Iranian nuclear sites during his last weeks in office, but was dissuaded with warnings it could lead to a wider conflict. Trump convened the officials a day after the UN nuclear watchdog said Iran had stockpiled over 12 times more enriched uranium than the 2015 nuclear deal allows, the report said, citing four current and former US officials.

Flournoy heeft een heel smerige geschiedenis achter zich bij het Pentagon en ‘zou een baken zijn geweest voor internationale militaire samenwerking’ (o.a. in hulp bij militaire staatsgrepen in het buitenland)…… Onder Obama heeft Flournoy een topfunctie vervuld op dat Pentagon en als zodanig is ze medeverantwoordelijk voor de coup in Honduras tegen de democratisch gekozen president Zelaya en die in Oekraïne tegen de democratisch gekozen* president Janoekovytsj…… Voorts is de VS mede verantwoordelijk voor de illgele oorlog tegen Libië, die dat eens rijkste land van Afrika in diepe ellende heeft gestort zodat het nu tot de armste landen van dat continent behoort…… Ofwel ‘feminist’ Flournoy staat tot ver over de pumps in het bloed van mensen die zijn omgekomen door VS ingrijpen in die periode…….

Caitlin ergert zich aan de kwalificaties die Flournoy worden toegedicht, zo zou haar gematigde (‘moderate’) zienswijze steun verzekeren van beide partijen (Democraten en Republikeinen, Ap) en dat in een positie die door de senaat moet worden goedgekeurd……. (de senaat die vooralsnog in handen is van de Republikeinen en dat hoogstwaarschijnlijk zal blijven)

Het woord ‘gematigd’ in samenhang met Michele Flournoy is als de gematigdheid van de zogenaamde gematigde rebellen in Syrië, die het westen zo bejubelde (zowel in politiek als media), maar die uiteindelijk moordenaars, verkrachters, martelbeulen en slavenhandelaars/houders bleken te zijn….. (overigens werden mensen die dit van meet af aan stelden afgedaan als Assad propagandisten door die westerse politiek en media….)…..

Flournoy is een bloeddorstige en oorlogswinstmaker aldus Caitlin, die teven de uitspraak van Medea Benjamin en Nicholas JS Davies aanhaalt die haar een ‘angel of death’ noemen en die als leider van het ministerie met de belachelijke aanduiding ‘defensie’ (lees: oorlog) het overzicht zal hebben over dezelfde agenda van haar voorgangers, de eenzijdige globale overheersing van de VS, die verantwoordelijk was en is voor rivieren gevuld met bloed en dat min of meer op dezelfde manier als die voorgangers…… Niet zo vreemd als je nagaat dat Joe Biden al ver voor de verkiezingen de Trump administratie slapheid verweet in het optreden tegen staten als Iran en Venezuela…… Terwijl de immense terreur van de Trump administratie in de vorm van sancties al enorm veel doden heeft gekost, in Venezuela zou dit al aan 50.000 mensen het leven hebben gekost…… Als je die terreur afschildert als slapheid is er van Biden maar één ding te verwachten: oorlog tegen die landen!!!

Caitlin stelt in haar artikel uiterst sarcastisch (maar alweer volkomen terecht) dat ‘de VS trots mag zijn’, er komt een intersectioneel kabinet met vrouwen die o.a massamoordenaar zijn………. Uiteraard gaat ze verder in op de rol man en vrouw en wat dit betekent in de dagelijkse politieke en ambtelijke praktijk.

Lees het volgende schrijven van Caitlin en zegt het voort, tijd dat de wereld inziet dat oorlogsmisdadigers Biden en Flournoy verantwoordelijk zullen zijn voor de volgende golf van VS terreur over de wereld en dat deze alweer een stuk groter zal zijn dan onder Trump…….. Maar ja wat wil je? De VS is immers het Vierde Rijk en tevens verreweg de grootste terreurentiteit ter wereld…… In het westen roept men halleluja over de winst van Biden, maar aan hoeveel arme drommels zal dit het leven kosten…???

But her moderate views would likely ensure wide bipartisan support in a position that requires Senate confirmation.”

This word “moderate” which the AP news agency keeps bleating is of course complete nonsense. Standing in the middle ground between two corporatist warmongering parties does not make you a moderate, it makes you a corporatist warmonger. Flournoy is no more “moderate” than the “moderate rebels” in Syria which mass media outlets like AP praised for years until it became undeniable that they were largely Al Qaeda affiliates; the only reason such a position can be portrayed as mainstream and moderate is because vast fortunes have been poured into making it that way.

As we discussed recently, Flournoy is a bloodthirsty imperialist and war profiteer who peace activists Medea Benjamin and Nicolas JS Davies accurately labeled an “angel of death” for the American empire. As leader of the laughably titled Department of “Defense” she can be expected to oversee the same agendas of unipolar global domination at the expense of rivers of blood as her predecessors, in more or less exactly the same ways.

There is nothing special or noteworthy about a murderous ghoul rising to the top of a war machine that can only be run by murderous ghouls. But because Michele Flournoy is a woman, we will see her appointment as “Defense” Secretary applauded and upheld as a major landmark for women by a political/media class which has never cared about women beyond their ability to turn the gears of the machine.

And of course establishment narrative managers are already greasing the wheels for that applause.

Let’s clear this up before the girl power parade starts:the first woman to head the US war machine will not be a groundbreaking pioneer of feminist achievement. She will be a mass murderer who wears Spanx. Her appointment will not be an advancement for women, it will be imperialism in pumps.

Modern mainstream feminism has abandoned women’s interests so thoroughly and completely in almost all spheres of importance that it has largely become only superficially distinct from the patriarchy it purports to oppose. The plight of mothers, elderly women, young girls, caregivers and wives have been almost entirely shuffled out of popular discourse, with focus instead shifted onto discussions about whether women are being adequately rewarded for their service to the God of Capitalism, or how they’re just as qualified as men to murder thousands of people at a time.

Instead of fighting to correct the societal imbalances which have resulted from millennia of male domination of society, mainstream feminism now promotes and applauds the very worst aspects of those imbalances. Instead of fighting to help women out of the impossible situation where they’re expected to simultaneously be successful capitalists and good mothers in an economic system where families can’t survive on a single income and children and the elderly are being neglected, we’re getting headlines about murderous warmongers “breaking barriers” and think pieces about how women should be allowed to inherit dukedoms.

In a system where dominant cultural narratives are always being deliberately twisted toward the advantage of the powerful, healthy collective impulses consistently wind up being diverted and corrupted until they find themselves unwittingly serving the very forces they set out to push back against. Movements toward racial equality have been twisted into support for the Democratic Party whose austerity policies and legal authoritarianism disproportionately hurt racial minorities worse than anyone else. Movements to elect a Democratic Socialist get funneled into support for the idiotic Russia conspiracies of the #Resistance. Movements to fight patriarchy wind up amplifying the most unhealthy aspects of patriarchy.

A true feminism would work toward a reversal of all the unhealthy aspects of society which were put there by social engineers without any input from women.

All around the world for thousands of years, wherever a civilization sprang up, the larger, stronger gender was naturally in a position to assert dominance over the way that civilization was run. Leadership systems were invented by men, social hierarchies were invented by men, marriage was invented by men, family structural norms were designed by men, money was invented by men, war was invented by men, and men invented religions which just so happened to have patriarchal gods who all agreed that the way men had set things up was indeed right and just.

Women were essentially property throughout most of this, and thus had very little input into how any of it was set up. Generation after generation after generation of women were born into this male-engineered society, over thousands and thousands of years, into a system so deeply and extensively normalized that it’s almost impossible to imagine what our society might look like had it not been dominated entirely by men throughout its history.

And then, very, very recently in the grand scheme of things, a healthy impulse emerged among women to cease being second-class citizens, and to instead stand as equals with their brothers.

In response, after much whining and foot-dragging, the men who ran things said in effect, “Right. Okay. You want equality? Fine. The jobs we invented are over there, the capitol building for the government we invented is over there, the bank for the economic system we invented is across the street, the Department of War is two blocks that way, and the Church of the Patriarchal God is around the corner. Welcome to equality!”

And some rich guys standing by watching leaned in and whispered to each other, “Sweet, double the workforce! We can halve their wages!”

We should not be cheering for women rising to the top of a psychopathic war machine. We should be dismantling that war machine and rolling back all the conditions which led to it.

True feminism, which is interested in guiding the world toward balance and heath in a way that benefits women and their children, would make this a priority.

Push against the celebrations of women being elevated to positions which go directly against the interests of women. Do not let mass murder and psychopathy become the landmark for success in the kind of world we are creating for our daughters. Oppose this madness and push for the kind of world we all know deep down we ought to have.

Volgens Caitlin Johnstone mag men zich inderdaad kwaad maken over het feit dat Trump de eindzege van de verkiezingen op 4 november jl. opeiste, echter de volledige reguliere (massa-) media en ‘politieke klasse’ hebben elke legitimiteit verloren om ook nog maar een letter van kritiek te leveren op het zich illegaal kronen door Trump, nadat ze de VS coup in Venezuela hebben gesteund…… (in het schrijven van Caitlin zit een fout, daar ze zegt dat deze groepen elke legitimiteit hebben verloren om een leider te veroordelen die henzelf [‘themselves’] kroonde, moet uiteraard zichzelf zijn)

Verder een mooi kort stuk waarin wordt aangegeven dat we van de Democraten niets hoeven te verwachten als Biden de nieuwe president zou worden (het artikel van Caitlin is van 5 november jl. en toen was nog niet zeker of Biden werkelijk genoeg kiesmannen zou weten te bemachtigen*). Het voorgaande daar de grote bedrijven de Biden campagne hebben gesteund en dat moet terugbetaald worden nu hij heeft gewonnen…. Zo kan het arme deel van de VS wel vergeten dat Biden veel voor hen zal doen, daar dit tegen de belangen indruist van de grote bedrijven, waar ik een paar groepen apart wil noemen: de financiële sector, de farmaceutische sector en de wapenfabrikanten (de laatste in de grootste zin van het woord, dus inclusief de fabrikanten van rollend, varend en vliegend oorlogstuig….)

Oké Biden zal iets meer doen voor het milieu en de VS weer binnen de groep landen brengen, die de klimaatakkoorden van Parijs tekenden, een verdrag waaruit de VS, ofwel klimaatscepticus Trump, zich op 4 november jl. officieel terugtrok….. Echter vergeet daarbij niet dat dit waardeloze verdrag volkomen ontoereikend is om de snelle klimaatverandering zelfs maar enigszins af te remmen, laat staan dat het leugenachtige doel wordt gehaald, om de stijging van de wereldtemperatuur tegen het eind van deze eeuw tot 1,5 graad Celsius te beperken, dat is schier onmogelijk!!

Lees het schrijven van Caitlin en bedenk dat de wereld een VS president nodig heeft die echt radicaal de boel wil veranderen, niet alleen voor het volk van de VS, maar voor de hele wereld, een president ook die een eind maakt aan de oneindige illegale oorlogen van de VS en die de meer dan 800 buitenlandse VS bases ontmantelt!! Denken dat zo’n president uit de kringen van Democraten of Republikeinen zal komen is als een fata morgana in de woestijn…….

Electoral Musings: Notes From The Edge Of The Narrative Matrix

It is perfectly valid for the American public to express outrage over Trump’s declaration of victory, but the entire American media and political class forever lost all legitimacy to condemn a nation’s leader from illegitimately crowning themselves by backing the Venezuela coup.

Watching Democrats’ inability to handily defeat a crazy reality TV host in two elections is like seeing someone pick a fight with a six year-old girl and getting their ass kicked, then coming back with a bunch of their friends and watching them all get carried off on stretchers.

❖

All the hours of post-electoral analysis you’re about to hear are just mental gymnastics to avoid confronting one very simple fact: that the way the Democratic Party has been securing funding is incompatible with securing votes. That’s the only correct answer to the question of what went wrong for the Democrats this year. They court wealthy donors who in exchange demand policies which hurt ordinary Americans. Ignore all answers besides this one.

It’s not because of inadequate outreach to this or that demographic. It’s not because of racism. It’s not because of being too “woke”. It’s not because of the Electoral College or gerrymandering. It’s because Democratic donors advance interests which hurt the Democratic base, which naturally makes the base disinclined to vote for them.

People simply are not going to support a party which does not advance their interests. If the Democratic Party were obtaining material benefits for people, they would dominate the US government. But that would mean taking things away from the donor class, so it’s been a no-go. Meanwhile the donor class is never going to support a party which acts against its interests. Getting enough votes and getting the support of wealthy elites are therefore mutually exclusive endeavors. You cannot have both. Dems will keep struggling with votes until they figure this out.

It is good that people are criticizing the Democrats’ garbage performance against a cartoon character opponent. But let’s not kid ourselves: as soon as they get Biden in the line is going to be “We’re doing fine; nothing needs to change. Biden beat the socialist and then beat Trump. Where’s brunch?”

Democrats ignored the left and courted Republicans instead under the mistaken belief that there are millions of Americans who want to coddle the rich, kill the poor, shit on disadvantaged groups and destroy the environment, but to do so with decency.

❖

Maybe there are a lot of liberals who are closet Trump voters. This dark, secret passion they can never admit to publicly, like how all conservatives secretly love gay sex.

❖

Presidents are just narrative management ops the US empire uses to explain to the public why it is doing the things it was always going to do. Like explaining death to children using puppets.

❖

If Biden somehow fails to get in, the elites who installed him as the nominee are responsible for that loss. If Biden secures the election, the elites who installed him are responsible for his administration’s evil actions. You don’t get to control everything and then duck responsibility for your outcomes.

❖

Ignore everyone who’s bitching about the Electoral College right now. They only ever complain about it during actual elections and then forget all about it until the next one.

❖

Leftists who voted Biden did it with the goal of hopefully later getting a chance to wake America up. Liberals who voted Biden did it so they can go back to sleep.

❖

Bush dropped more bombs than Clinton. Obama dropped more bombs than Bush. Trump dropped more bombs than Obama. This trend has much less to do with who’s president than with the nature of global metastatic imperialism. And it ain’t changing with Biden.

❖

The idea that everything will be fine once Trump’s gone is more dangerous than Trump.

❖

The more desperately aggressive and authoritarian the western empire becomes, the more the blue checkmarked commentariat who protect it are going to expose themselves for what they really are.

This is all you’re ever seeing with those liberals and fauxgressives who spend all their time on Twitter taking pot shots at anti-imperialists and finger wagging at people for being too far left. They’re just protecting an increasingly indefensible world order from its critics.

“Antifascists” who support Biden should call themselves Arguably-Slightly-Less-Fascist.

The dumbest thing about this presidential race has been the narrative that nations who will be targeted by the US no matter who wins have a really strong preference for one of the candidates.

Nu het wel zeker is dat Biden de VS presidentsverkiezingen heeft gewonnen, zullen de Democraten met geen letter meer reppen dat Rusland de presidentsverkiezingen heeft gemanipuleerd, zoals de Democraten en de regulere (massa-) media 4 jaar lang hebben geschreeuwd en dat gesteund door een groot deel van andere westerse politici en de media in die landen…….. Nog maar een paar maanden geleden liet Kamala Harris, de nieuwe vicepresident van de VS, op CNN weten dat Russische bemoeienis Biden de verkiezingen zou kunnen kosten….. Zonder enig bewijs deed Harris haar uitlatingen, maar zoals Aaron Maté in een Twitterbericht opmerkte: wie wil de details nog kennen? Nu Biden heeft gewonnen zullen we met geen letter meer horen over Russische manipulaties, zo vervolgde Maté…… (in mijn woorden, maar daar komt het wel op neer)

CaitlinJohnstone, de schrijver van het hieronder opgenomen artikel, stelt dat elke Russische agent in de VS, elke trol in Sint Petersburg, elke Russische hacker die het met z’n allen de klokrond hadden voorzien op de zogenaamde democratie in de VS, ‘poef’ plotseling niet meer bestaan…… Russiagate werd in de lucht gehouden en dat in weerzin van alle bewijzen dat dit een opgeklopte leugen was…… Een leugen waarmee Hillary Clinton haar misadige handelen wilde verdoezelen >> het op een smerige (beter gezegd: misdadige) manier stelen van de voorverkiezingen in 2016 ten koste van Bernie Sanders…..)

Als de Russen werkelijk de verkiezingen zouden hebben gemanipuleerd, zoals het VS volk (en ook ons) 4 jaar lang werd voorgehouden door politici en media en waar dit in de VS zelfs als een oorlogsdaad werd bestempeld, vergelijkbaar met 9/11 en Pearl Harbor, zou het niet uit hebben moeten maken wie de verkiezingen had gewonnen, een dergelijke grote en grove inmenging in binnenlandse politiek van de VS (en andere landen*) zou een grote zaak blijven, echter nu Biden heeft gewonnen hoor je zelfs geen piep meer die daarnaar verwijst, zo vervolgt Caitlin volkomen terecht……

Wel is Chinagate nu in opkomst en wacht maar, als Trump eindelijk zal toegeven de verkiezingen te hebben verloren, zal hij China de schuld geven, zoals een aantal van de Republikeinen nu al doen…… Benieuwd of Ollongren, de AIVD en de MIVD binnenkort ook komen met China als nieuwe manipulator van de Nederlandse verkiezingen, al maken ze zichzelf dan nogmaals volkomen belachelijk niet alleen omdat het een leugen is, maar vanwege een al eerder geuite beschuldiging aan het adres van Rusland dat de Nederlandse verkiezingen in maart volgend jaar al zou manipuleren…… ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Hoe gek moet je zijn om met dergelijke onzin het volk te manipuleren, want dat is het, i.p.v. de Russen die onze verkiezingen manipuleren, zijn het juist de roepers van die valse boodschap die met hun leugens plus hun angst- en haatzaaierij de boel manipuleren, iets waar de reguliere media hier maar al te graag aan aan meedoen…….. (als Rusland hier werkelijk de boel manipuleert, zouden het ook de Russen moeten zijn die van de disfunctionerende VVD leugenaar en premier Rutte een held hebben gemaakt [althans dat is hij volgens de zogenaamd onafhankelijke media], ofwel Rutte is een Russische agent!! ha! ha! ha! ha!)

Met het verlies van Trump wordt er nu gesteld dat de kinderen het Witte Huis zullen verlaten en volwassenen die plek weer zullen innemen…. Caitlin is het eens met deze uitspraak en stelt (heerlijk sarcastisch) dat het nu gelukkig volwassenen zullen zijn die oorlogen beginnen tegen landen waar de VS niets te zoeken heeft….. Vergeet de woorden van Biden niet die Trump zwakte verweet in het optreden tegen landen als Venezuela en Iran…… Biden heeft dan ook beloofd dat hij een meer assertieve (lees: agressieve) buitenlandpolitiek zal voeren tegen de twee genoemde landen, uiteraard weer in totaal andere bewoordingen dan ik hier gebruik…… Waaruit je kan concluderen dat een nog agressievere aanpak van Iran en Venezuela maar één ding kan betekenen: weer twee illegale oorlogen van de VS tegen landen waar deze terreurentiteit, ofwel het Vierde Rijk, niets te zoeken heeft……..

Joe Biden’s inauguration as the 46th president of the United States is now all but certain.

In order to have any chance of successfully advancing his legal narrative of electoral shenanigans President Trump would have to both (A) really want to remain president and (B) have the backing of sufficiently large power structures, neither of which appear to be the case. When you’re a Republican president and Murdoch is actively fighting against you, it doesn’t matter what the facts are. The narrative war is lost. Trump is done.

Every Kremlin agent hiding under every bed, every Saint Petersburg troll lurking around every corner, every Russian hacker we’ve been told was working around the clock to destroy America’s imaginary democracy–poof! We’re not hearing a word about them anymore.

If the Russians had really been trying to influence this election, as we’ve been told for years they most definitely would, and if foreign election interference really is an act of war comparable to 9/11 and Pearl Harbor, as we’ve been told for years that it is, then it should be just as big a deal regardless of which candidate win. Yet we’re not hearing a peep on the subject from the blue-checkmarked commentariat who’ve been shrieking about the Russian menace for four years.

We have, oh so very predictably, been hearing a fair bit about China though.

Liberals are heaving a sigh of relief around the country, not because their actual lives have gotten much worse as a result of Trump’s presidency (they have not), but because it means at long last they’ll stop being psychologically abused by the mass media who’ve been screaming hysterical nonsense in their faces and making them feel crazy.

Bit by bit cautious celebrations are beginning to erupt from coast to coast (okay maybe just the coasts) as Biden’s January inauguration becomes less of a possibility and more of a certainty. It’s not the thunderous rejoicing it will be when they make it official, but little expressions of glee are popping up everywhere. Kids are being hugged. Parents are being called. Bold tie choices are being made.

“At long last there will be adults in the White House again!” goes the common refrain.

And I couldn’t agree more! I think we’re all breathing a lot easier knowing that the US government will now be run by grown-ups who murder people instead of emotionally stunted children who murder people. We’ll all sleep so much better knowing that there are adults in the room who murder people, and that the insatiable US murder monster is under competent management once more.

And make no mistake, murdering people is what the Biden administration will be doing.

This will in fact be the only president in recent memory who actually campaigned on being more interventionist and attacking his opponent for not being hawkish enough. Trump ran on a platform of scaling back US interventionism, as did Obama, as did even Bush, but Biden did the opposite. He is beginning from a much more hawkish position than he predecessors right off the bat.

Add to this the bloodthirsty ghouls who appear likely to wind up in Biden’s cabinet and the hawkish rhetoric of his foreign policy advisors, and you’re likely looking at a president who will serve as an empty vessel for whatever the US war machine wants to pour into him. Mass murders are being planned, and it’s going to get ugly.

It’s odd, you know. US political leaders are so revered by the media and so normalized on our screens that it’s easy to forget how many children they’ve killed. You see the doddering old man eating ice cream enough times and it becomes difficult to marry him in your mind with the butcher who played a crucial leading role in advancing the Iraq invasion which killed a million people and ushered in an unprecedented new age of military expansionism.

But the important thing is that he won’t be making rude tweets and bungling coup attempts in the Global South. He will be a Competent Grown-Up, like the daddy we always wanted. He will pilot the insatiable death machine with grace and decency, right into the homes of the world’s most vulnerable.

Inderdaad voor de sjiitische bevolking van Jemen waarop al jaren lang een genocide wordt uitgevoerd en waarbij naar schatting al minstens 500.000 mensen zijn vermoord (waaronder zeker 100.000 kinderen), zal het niet uitmaken als oorlogsmisdadiger Biden de nieuwe president wordt van de VS…….

Vanaf het moment dat het Saoedi-Arabië en haar soennitische terreurcoalitie de aanval opende op Jemen en dan m.n. op gebieden die in handen waren en zijn van de sjiitische Houthi rebellen, heeft de VS meegewerkt aan deze vreselijke oorlog, die zoals gezegd niets anders is dan een genocide op de sjiitische bevolking van Jemen…….

Zo werkte de VS tot 2019 mee aan de bombardementen die de Saoedische terreurcoalitie uitvoerde op sjiitische: -ziekenhuizen, -woonwijken, -elektriciteitscentrales, -rioolreinigingsinstallaties, -watervoorzieningen, -infrastructuur (inclusief rioleringen), -markten en zelfs -landbouwgronden (zodat de voedselvoorziening die al bijzonder slecht is door blokkades van S-A en haar terreurcoalitie, nog verder is verslechterd). De VS verzorgde al onder Obama (die NB de Nobelprijs voor de Vrede kreeg…) de coördinatie van de bombardementen en voorzag de Saoedische straaljagers en bommenwerpers tijdens de vlucht van brandstof (en dat gratis…), zodat de deze terreurstaat zo efficiënt mogelijk kon bombarderen…… De zojuist genoemde coördinatie van de bombardementen deed de VS met AWACS-vliegtuigen……. (en het zou me niet verbazen als dit nog steeds gebeurt) Voorts is de VS af en aan met troepen op Jemenitische bodem om te strijden tegen de Houthi rebellen…..

Verder doet de VS mee aan de zeeblokkade die Saoedi-Arabië heeft ingesteld tegen de havens die in handen zijn van de Houthi’s en alweer: vanaf het presidentschap van oorlogsmisdadiger Obama en zijn vicepresident Joe Biden, die zelf oorlogsmisdadiger is door zijn handelen onder Obama……

De genocide wordt versterkt door honger, cholera, difterie, gebrek aan water, gebrek aan brandstof (o.a. voor ziekenhuizen die nog wel overeind staan) en gebrek medicijnen, niet voor niets ook dat het verzwakte sjiitische deel van het volk zeer bevattelijk is voor het Coronavirus, de oorzaak voor in verhouding veel meer doden dan in de meeste andere landen…..

De (westerse) wereld kijkt al jaren toe en doet niets voor de sjiieten in Jemen en nee, de sjiitische bevolking heeft ook al niets goeds te verwachten van moordenaar Biden…….
