Assange: geen uitlevering maar directe invrijheidstelling!

Momenteel buigt de Britse rechter zich over het uitleveringsverzoek van de VS Julian Assange aan hen over te dragen. Vanmiddag op Radio1 NOS verslaggever Tim de Wit in Londen die e.e.a. ‘uitlegde’ aan de luisteraar. Volgens de Wit heeft Assange staatsgeheimen prijsgegeven en daarbij bestaande personnen in gevaar gebracht, ofwel de Wit nam simpelweg de beschuldigingen van de VS aan het adres van Assange over……

 De Wit begon maar niet over de oorlogsmisdaden die beschreven staan in WikiLeaks, de gelekte documenten waarin bijvoorbeeld wordt beschreven hoe een VS helikopterbemanning een aantal burgers vermoordde die bezig waren een gewonde burger te helpen, e.e.a. met een hoerastemming in het vliegende oorlogstuig als er weer iemand werd geraakt……

Nee, Assange moet en zal hangen, ook wat betreft de zogenaamd onafhankelijke NOS, terwijl het proces NB wordt gevoerd tegen een collega journalist…… Iedere journalist die dergelijke documenten in handen zou krijgen, zou deze openbaar moeten maken, daar je anders je werk niet doet als journalist……

 Het is een schande dat de reguliere westerse media zich bijna allemaal tegen Assange hebben gekeerd, i.p.v. hun collega uit en te na te verdedigen….. Men moet toch snappen dat wanneer er ook maar één door Assange ‘genoemde figuur’ zou zijn vermoord na met naam en toenaam te zijn vermeld op WikiLeaks, dit onmiddellijk wereldnieuws zou zijn geweest, echter we zijn al jaren verder en niet één zo’n bericht heeft ‘het daglicht gezien….’ Er zouden dan ook geen met naam genoemde figuren zijn gemeld op WikiLeaks van wie het leven gevaar zou kunnen lopen……

Blijkbaar is men bij die reguliere westerse media pissig omdat de documenten op WikiLeaks aangeven dat men in die media keer op keer heeft gelogen (fake news en andere desinformatie), bijvoorbeeld over ‘de noodzaak’ in 2003 om Irak aan te vallen, terwijl echte journalisten al lang wisten dat Irak geen massavernietigingswapens had, zoals VN wapeninspecteur Blix keer op keer meldde en daarvoor het vuur uit de sloffen heeft gelopen…….

Het is een schande dat Assange nog steeds vastzit en dat puur en alleen omdat hij zijn werk heeft gedaan….. Het is een schande dat men alleen al een proces wil voeren om hem uit te leveren aan de VS, de grootste terreurentiteit op aarde…… Maar het is vooral een schande dat de reguliere westerse media een collega zo hebben laten vallen en hem zelfs hebben gedemoniseerd!!! Dezelfde media die geloof hechtten aan de valse beschuldigingen van verkrachting die men Assange in Zweden aan wilde smeren….. Logisch dat Assange de Ecuadoraanse ambassade invluchtte nadat hij te horen kreeg dat Zweden hem uitgeleverd wilde hebben vanwege die valse beschuldigingen…… Voor die vlucht in de ambassade van Ecuador heeft Groot-Brittannië Assange vastgezet, terwijl intussen volledig duidelijk is dat de Zweedse aanklacht tegen Assange was gebaseerd op leugens, hoe durf je iemand dan alsnog vast te zetten??!!!

Vervolging van drone klokkenluider Hale moet worden gestopt

Een ‘veteraan’ die meewerkte aan het drone moord programma, heeft zich tegen zijn voormalige werk en werkgever gekeerd en feiten over het drone programma aan de grote klok gehangen, vooral het enorme aantal slachtoffers die als ‘collateral damage’ (bijkomende schade) worden aangeduid, was voor Hale de reden om ‘de klok te luiden’.
De VS overheid laat Daniel Hale vervolgen op grond van de meer dan belachelijke en inhumane Espionage Act, alleen omdat hij duidelijk maakte wat men eigenlijk doet met dit programma…. Duizenden mensen zouden al het slachtoffer zijn van drone-aanvallen, waarbij niet moet worden vergeten dat zoals gezegd het overgrote deel van de slachtoffers, meer dan 90% (!!), niet eens werd verdacht van enige misdaad (veelal vrouwen en kinderen…)….
Het gaat recht tegen internationale verdragen in om mensen zonder vorm van proces te vermoorden en je kan dan ook stellen dat deze moorden ingaan tegen de mensenrechten, het internationaal oorlogsrecht en kan zonder meer aangeduid worden als een misdaad tegen de menselijkheid!!
Hale loopt de kans te worden veroordeeld tot 50 jaar gevangenisstraf…… Het klokkenluiden door Hale is in het belang van de hele wereld, immers als de VS jouw land als ongehoorzaam aan haar doctrine acht, is de kans levensgroot dat de VS ook daar met drone aanvallen zelfs tegenstanders van de VS buitenlandpolitiek zal vermoorden……..

Ongelofelijk maar waar: na dat het schandaal bekend werd dat de OPCW de rapportage over de ‘gifgasaanval van het Syrische bewind op Douma’ dusdanig heeft aangepast dat inderdaad het Syrische leger als schuldig werd aangewezen voor de gifgasaanval op Douma*, wordt er door de reguliere westerse media gesteld dat Rusland en de Syrische regering achter de lekken zit, waarmee ze proberen te ontkennen dat er een gifgasaanval plaatsvond…….. Ofwel de westerse massamedia houden gewoon vol dat ‘nog steeds vaststaat dat Syrië verantwoordelijk is voor de gifgasaanval op Douma’, terwijl al lang bekend is dat dit een smerige leugen is, een feit dat middels het lek binnen de OPCW op straat kwam te liggen, inclusief de documenten en mails die e.e.a. bewijzen……. Let wel: het gaat hier om dezelfde massamedia die de vuilbek vol hebben over ‘fake news’ (nepnieuws), andere desinformatie en manipulaties op de sociale media…….
De gevonden hoeveelheden chlorine kan je overal vinden waar chloor als schoonmaakmiddel wordt gebruikt, of waar chloor wordt gefabriceerd, dan wel in zwembaden (of in de directe nabijheid van zwembaden of chloorfabrieken…….)
Ach, het is de zoveelste gifgasaanval die in de schoenen van Assad werd geschoven, terwijl achteraf bij echte gifgasaanvallen keer op keer bleek dat terreurgroepen gifgas hebben ingezet als wapen….. (zelfs Obama heeft dat een keer toegegeven) Men zat en zit er in de westerse politiek en media zelfs niet mee dat terreurgroepen als Al Qaida (in Syrië: al-Nusra) en anderen de beschikking hadden (en sommige nog hebben) over chlorine en zelfs sarin……..

The one where evidence keeps piling up that the US, UK and France launched airstrikes against the Syrian government last year in retaliation for a poison gas attack which never took place, and then manipulated an ostensibly independent and international chemical weapons watchdog organization into covering it up?
Well, it turns out that bigtime news media outlets haven’t been all that interested for some strange and mysterious reason. But just today they broke the silence with a new report that mentioned the scandal, and they’ve totally spun it in a way that makes the US and its allies look good! Can you believe that?
And you’ll never guess what excuse they’re using to spin it. Never in a million, billion years.
Put a pillow down on the floor, because your jaw’s about to drop like James Le Mesurier: believe it or not, they’re blaming it on Russian disinformation.

AFP, which just as an aside is one of only three gigantic news agencies that are responsible for most of the stories you see in the mass media, has put out an article that has been picked up by multiple mainstream media outlets titled “Showdown looms over Syria chemical weapons probe”.

The article deliberately frames the issue as one which has been “highlighted” by “Moscow”, and publishes a claim sourced to unnamed western officials that “the Russians and Syrians are trying to muddy the waters”.
“Moscow has consistently raised doubts over chemical attacks in Syria or insisted they were staged, and has recently highlighted a leaked report raising questions about a deadly chlorine attack in the Syrian town of Douma in April 2018,” AFP reports. “Western diplomats however say the Russians and Syrians are trying to muddy the waters about alleged attacks by President Bashar al-Assad’s forces.”
Never mind that the leaks themselves are intrinsically important and completely authentic, regardless of who’s “highlighting” them. Never mind that the leaks have been “highlighted” by many non-Russian outlets, ranging from small alternative platforms like my own here in Melbourne all the way up to as mainstream as the UK’s Daily Mail. All it takes is one Russian to talk about any issue of any kind and it can magically be spun as a talking point of Moscow, no matter how many westerners who have nothing to do with Russia are also talking about it.
The report’s author, Danny Kemp, has been spending time narrative managing about the OPCW scandal on Twitter as well. Kemp argues that WikiLeaks, who published a leaked internal email from the organisation on Sunday which challenges the establishment Douma narrative, doesn’t have trustworthy publications because WikiLeaks is associated with (you guessed it) Russia.

Kemp’s baseless Russia smear is invalidated by the fact that multiple other outlets have also published the email, including the Daily Mail, and by the fact that Reuters has independently verified the email’s authenticity with a source in the OPCW.
The OPCW’s Director General Fernando Arias said during a convention at The Hague today that he fully supports the conclusions that were published in the OPCW’s final report on the Douma incident this past March, which asserted, contrary to everything the OPCW whistleblowers claim, that there was enough evidence to believe that a chemical weapon was used.
“On the first of March, 2019, the Fact Finding Mission issued its final report on the incident of alleged use of toxic chemical weapons in Douma on the seventh of April, 2018,” Arias said. “The evaluation and analysis of all the information gathered by the Fact Finding Mission provide reasonable grounds that the use of a toxic chemical as a weapon had taken place.”
“It is in the nature of any thorough inquiry for individuals in a team to express subjective views,” Arias added. “The overall conclusions of the inquiry, however, must be based on the preponderance of objective facts.”
“While some of these diverging views continue to circulate in certain public discussion forums, I would like to reiterate that I stand by the independent, professional conclusions reached by the Fact Finding Mission,” Arias said.

Again, everything Arias said is contradicted by what the whistleblowers from inside the aforementioned Fact Finding Mission have been saying:
  • The leaked email says chlorinated organic chemicals on the scene were as low as one or two parts per billion, meaning they were trace background levels you’d find in any industrialized area, and that the symptoms of the victims were inconsistent with chlorine gas poisoning.
  • The leaked Engineering Assessment signed by ballistics expert Ian Henderson states that the alleged chlorine cylinders were much more likely to have been manually placed on the ground than dropped from the air, meaning the incident would have been staged by the Jaysh al-Islam fighters occupying Douma and not the Syrian air force.
  • The information given to journalist Jonathan Steele by the whistleblower “Alex” lists even more inconsistencies with the OPCW report, claims that dissent from the final drafts of the OPCW’s Douma reports was a majority opinion within the team, and says investigators felt pressured both by OPCW management and an uncomfortable intercession by US government officials to come to a specific conclusion.
Given all this, there is no reason for anyone to feel at all confident that “the use of a toxic chemical as a weapon had taken place” in Douma.
In the hours since Arias finally gave them a denial of the OPCW scandal that they can use in their reporting, the mass media have suddenly broken their deafening silence on this important story.

Reports have come out on Arias’ defense of the official Douma reports from Reuters, AP and CBS explaining to readers that the OPCW’s head honcho says all the naughty people sharing unauthorized narratives about Douma are wrong. In a story about Syria and The Hague, the CBS article mentions the words “Russia” or “Russian” no fewer than twelve times, spinning the entire affair as nothing more than a Moscow-orchestrated conspiracy theory.

Here’s an excerpt from the CBS article, just to give you a taste of the conspiratorial-lunatic spin job they’re doing on something that amounts simply to authentic leaked information:

Russia and Syria have alleged that the incident was staged since soon after it took place. Russia even attempted to bolster its case by bringing individuals who it identified as Syrians seen in “staged” videos after the attack to testify to the OPCW at The Hague.

European OPCW members rejected the Russian-Syrian claims outright, and refused to attend the session at OPCW headquarters.

“This obscene masquerade does not come as a surprise from the Syrian government, which has massacred and gassed its own people for the last seven years,” France’s ambassador to the Netherlands, Philippe Lalliot, said in response.

I guess it’s nice to have some company on this important story after months and months of near-total silence, but man the spin’s making me dizzy.
Of course it’s not the mass media’s job to objectively report facts, it’s the mass media’s job to manufacture consent for the status quo upon which the media-owning plutocratic class is built. This status quo naturally includes the globe-spanning US-centralized empire and the endless war which glues the whole thing together. The narrative that this oligarchic power alliance has once again deceived the world about yet another military intervention in yet another Middle Eastern nation would do serious damage to people’s trust in the imperial propaganda machine, so the story will be ignored for as long as possible and then attacked with extreme aggression when that fails.
We’re on attacking already. This is good.

De reguliere westerse media hielenlikkers kunnen er maar geen genoeg van krijgen: Assange is geen journalist en heeft misdadig staatsgeheimen gelekt waarvan anderen het slachtoffer zijn geworden…..

Die laatste beschuldiging doet meer en meer opgang: met veel omhaal verklaren vertegenwoordigers van mediaorganen dat Assange geen journalist is en dat hij mensen in gevaar heeft gebracht…… Hoorde Jan Kuitenbrouwer, een vervelende hufter die zich journalist durft te noemen, zeggen dat door de schuld van Assange hoogstwaarschijnlijk mensen zijn onthoofd……
Pedante leugenaar Kuitenbrouwer had kunnen weten, althans als hij ‘zijn beroep’ serieus had genomen, dat uit alle gepubliceerde documenten namen en verwijzingen naar personen zijn verwijderd, maar ach je roept het tien keer en de hele goegemeente gelooft zijn gebagger…… WikiLeaks heeft zelfs afspraken gemaakt met dagbladen (als de New York Times) over de publicaties uit de verzamelde documenten en wat daar wel en niet uit zou mogen worden gepubliceerd (later meer over de schunnige uitlatingen van de belachelijke kwast Kuitenbrouwer)

 Let wel: schoften als Kuitenbrouwer vergeten voor het gemak dat landen als de VS en GB expres de getallen gedode burgers laag houden, terwijl uit de documenten blijkt dat ze onnoemelijk meer burgers hebben vermoord….. Het is dan toch wel een gotspe als zogenaamde journalisten durven te zeggen dat het niet in het algemeen belang is dergelijk zaken naar buiten te brengen……
Ach het gaat als met Russiagate, duizenden journalisten van de reguliere westerse media hebben dik meer dan 2 jaar lang de leugens als waarheid herhaald dat Rusland de VS presidentsverkiezingen van 2016 zou hebben gemanipuleerd en wel op zo’n manier dat Trump aan het bewind kwam….. Smerige leugens zo bleek een paar weken geleden uit onderzoek van speciaal aanklager Mueller…….. Leugens waarvoor de reguliere westerse media geen excuus hebben aangeboden (immers ze hadden kunnen weten dat het een onzin verhaal was), nee men houdt die leugens nog steeds vol, zoals ik niet alleen op de Nederlandse, maar ook op de Duitse, Britse en Belgische radio dag in dag uit weer hoor voorbijkomen……
De VN heeft de ‘huisvesting’ van Assange in de Ecuadoraanse ambassade tot een onwettig detentie verklaard, niet moeilijk te bedenken wat men daar nu denkt over de ontvoering van Assange uit de Ecuadoraanse ambassade…….. Destijds stelde de VN dat GB Assange moest laten gaan, echter GB ging niet eens in beroep tegen deze uitspraak en doet verder of de neus bloedt……
Edward Snowden noemt in het artikel van The Canary, hieronder opgenomen en geschreven door James Wright, alle prijzen die WikiLeaks en daarmee Assange in de loop van de jaren als echte journalist hebben vergaard en dat was bepaald niet omdat men hem niet als journalist zag, of dat men WikiLeaks als een verraad en gevaar voor de staatsveiligheid zag (zoals veel journalisten als een verzinsel brachten….)…..

The arrest
Aside from a breach of bail (see a timeline of his case here), Assange’s arrest concerns an extradition request from the US. The now unsealed indictment alleges that Assange is guilty of ‘conspiring to commit computer intrusion’. It claims that Assange helped whistleblower Chelsea Manning crack passwords in order to make it more difficult to identify her as the source of the Iraq and Afghanistan war logs.
The Iraq war logs showed that US and UK officials lied about having no official statistics on deaths. The leaks identified over 66,000 civilian deaths from 2004 to the end of 2009. They also revealed that the US military indiscriminately gunned down over a dozen people in Baghdad, including two Reuters media staff.
The Afghanistan war documents, meanwhile, showed that the US-led coalition forces killed hundreds of civilians. They then attempted to conceal their conduct. The documents also revealed the US-led coalition’s widespread use of death squads and drones to kill suspects without trial.
‘Unlawfully detained’
In response to Assange’s situation, the former WikiLeaks editor has many international organisations defending his human rights. Recently, the UN’s Working Group on Arbitrary Detention reiterated a ruling it made in 2015. It concluded that the UK government was ‘arbitrarily detaining’ Assange and demanded that the authorities allow him to leave. The Conservative administration tried to appeal the UN ruling but failed, and has since then ignored it.
WikiLeaks is an independent media organisation that specialises in publishing information from whistleblowers that it deems to be in the public interest. The publisher has also released documents on governments across the world, including the US, Iran, Kenya, and China, as well as on the UK far right.
In short, Snowden is spot on that this is fundamentally about press freedom. Washington is trying to crush a dissident journalist for revealing its crimes. This is an attack on the world’s right to knowledge; and we must resist it as such.

James Clapper voormalig directeur National Intelligence en John Brennan, voormalig CIA directeur hebben het congres en de senaat bespioneerd in de strijd tegen klokkenluiders, zo blijkt uit een door John Kiriakou geschreven artikel, eerder gepubliceerd op ConsortiumNews……..
De twee verklaarden een paar documenten geheim >> 2 zogenaamde congressional notifications*, documenten die deze spionage aantoonden, waardoor er geen vervolging kon worden ingesteld, in een zaak die ook in de VS als misdaad wordt gezien…… Clapper en Brennan werkten samen en deden e.e.a. om achter de namen van eventuele klokkenluiders te komen…….
De republikeinse senator Chuck Grassley heeft al eerder gevraagd om openbaarmaking van de stukken, die uiteraard niets bevatten wat geheim moet worden gehouden, maar die wel aangeven dat de 2 vervolgd moeten worden en gevangen moeten worden gezet…. Aanvankelijk lukte het niet om deze documenten vrij te krijgen in de laatste 2 jaar van de Obama administratie, maar nadat de mensen van Obama waren vervangen door republikeinen, lukte het wel deze documenten boven tafel te krijgen.

 De spionage bestond er uit dat men de commissies die de inlichtingendiensten controleren in de senaat hackte om zo achter de namen van eventuele klokkenluiders te kunnen komen, ofwel men heeft ingebroken op het email systeem van de senaat………
Zo zie je ten overvloede nog eens hoe corrumperend en criminaliserend het werk van geheime diensten als de CIA in werkelijkheid is en dat de macht die deze diensten hebben, totaal onterecht is…..
Het voorgaande geldt ook voor ons land, met het hijgerig wijzen op islam terroristen krijgen de geheime diensten steeds meer macht en middelen, terwijl men een echte aanslag niet eens weet te voorkomen, zelfs niet als men één of meerdere daders in het vizier had…….. (dat geldt ook voor de inlichtingendiensten elders) Afgelopen week werd bekend gemaakt dat de
Daarover gesproken: enige tijd geleden werden een aantal mannen opgepakt in Nederland voor het beramen van een aanslag, het was echter snel na dit bericht stil en ben benieuwd hoe het er met die zaak voor staat……. Immers eerder werden dergelijke zaken met veel tamtam gebracht, waar later bleek dat men een bok had geschoten en verdachten vrijgelaten moesten worden….. Het geval met de Russen die het OPCW gebouw zouden hebben willen hacken, is van een zo ongeloofwaardig niveau dat ik er niet eens op in ga………

James Clapper and John Brennan Should Not Escape Prosecution

Recently declassified documents show that the former CIA director and former director of national intelligence approved illegal spying on Congress and then classified their crime. They need to face punishment, writes John Kiriakou.
(CN Opinion) — Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa made a dramatic announcement this month that almost nobody in America paid any attention to. Grassley released a statement saying that four years ago, he asked the Intelligence Community Inspector General to release two “Congressional Notifications” written by former CIA Director John Brennan and former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper.
Grassley had had his requests to declassify the documents ignored repeatedly throughout the last two years of the Obama administration. He decided to try again because all of the Obama people at the CIA and DNI are gone now. This time, his request was approved.
So what was the information that was finally declassified? It was written confirmation that John Brennan ordered CIA hackers to intercept the emails of all potential or possible intelligence community whistleblowers who may have been trying to contact the Congressional oversight committees, specifically to the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence and the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Simply put, Brennan ordered his people to hack into the Senate email system—again. Grassley is the longtime chairman of Judiciary Committee, and he was understandably appalled.
First, let me explain what a Congressional Notification is. The CIA is required by law to inform the Congressional oversight committees whenever one of its officers, agents, or administrators breaks the law, when an operation requires Congressional approval because it is a “covert action” program, or whenever something happens at the CIA that’s potentially controversial and the Agency wants to save itself the embarrassment of explaining itself to Congress later.
Brennan apparently ordered his officers to spy on the Senate. Remember, back in 2014 his officers spied on Intelligence Community investigators while they were writing the Senate Torture Report. This time, he decided to inform Congress.
But Brennan and Clapper classified the notification. It was like a taunt. “Sure, I’m spying on Congress, which is illegal. But it’s classified, so what are you going to do about it?”
Grassley went through the proper channels. And even though Brennan and Clapper essentially gave him the middle finger, he didn’t say anything until the documents were finally declassified. He’s a bigger man than I.
I think Grassley missed an opportunity here, though.
First, it’s my own opinion that John Brennan belongs in prison. He has flouted U.S. national security laws with impunity for years. That’s unacceptable. In these declassified notifications, he’s confessing to hacking into the Senate’s computer system. That’s a violation of a whole host of laws, from illegal use of a government computer to wire fraud to espionage. There ought to be a price to pay for it, especially in light of the fact that Brennan was the leading force behind the prosecutions of eight national security whistleblowers during the Obama administration, almost three times the number of whistleblowers charged under the Espionage Act by all previous presidents combined.
Second, it’s a crime, a felony, to overclassify government information. Most Americans have no idea that that’s the case. Of course, nobody has ever been charged with it. But it’s a serious problem, and it’s antithetical to transparency. The CIA Inspector General said of the notifications, “I could see no reason to withhold declassification of these documents. They contained no information that could be construed as sources and methods.” That’s an admission that the notifications were improperly classified in the first place.
Grassley added, “There is a strong public interest in (the notifications’s) content. I do not believe they need to be classified at all, and they should be released in their entirety.”
Grassley went so far as to call out Brennan and Clapper by name. “What sources or methods would be jeopardized by the declassification of these notifications? After four-and-a-half years of bureaucratic foot-dragging, led by Brennan and Clapper, we finally have the answer: None.”
So why weren’t they declassified four years ago? Remember, it’s illegal to classify a crime. And it’s illegal to classify something solely for the purpose of preventing embarrassment to the CIA. Yet those were the very reasons for classifying the documents in the first place. It was because Brennan and Clapper think they’re somehow special cases. (Recall that it was Clapper who lied directly to the Senate Intelligence Committee about intercepting the communications of American citizens. He also did that with impunity.)
Brennan and Clapper think the law doesn’t apply to them. But it does. Without the rule of law, we have chaos in our country. The law has to apply equally to all Americans. Brennan and Clapper need to learn that lesson the hard way. They broke the law. They ought to be prosecuted for it.
John Kiriakou is a former CIA counterterrorism officer and a former senior investigator with the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. John became the sixth whistleblower indicted by the Obama administration under the Espionage Act—a law designed to punish spies. He served 23 months in prison as a result of his attempts to oppose the Bush administration’s torture program.

Afgelopen maandag hebben Naom Chomsky, Chris Hedges, John Pilger e.a. Ecuador opgeroepen om de isolatie van Julian Assange op te heffen. Middels zogenaamde jammers heeft Ecuador het Assange onmogelijk gemaakt nog te communiceren met de buitenwereld……

Uiteraard is dit onder druk van de VS gebeurd, die Assange het liefst fiks wil straffen. Met deze isolatie is het verblijf van Assange in de Engelse Ecuadoraanse ambassade veranderd in een volledige gevangenschap……
Lullig dat de ondertekenaars van dit pleidooi niet ook Groot-Brittannië hebben opgeroepen de waanzinnige bewaking van de ambassade in Londen en de dreiging van Assanges arrestatie in te trekken (arrestatie als Assange één been buiten de ambassade zet). Assange is een klokkenluider die met het door hem opgerichte Wikileaks juist de wereldbevolking dient….

Zoals gesteld in het volgende artikel: zelfs de VN vindt de dreiging van arrestatie voor Assange onaanvaardbaar. Assange is in feite een klokkenluider die het opneemt voor de gewone mens tegen de willekeur van overheden en dan m.n. die van de grootste terreurentiteit op aarde, de VS……
Assange wordt het spreken onmogelijk gemaakt, niet in China of Saoedi-Arabië, maar midden in het westen dat boogt op de vrijheid van meningsuiting en waar men keer op keer beweerd klokkenluiders te willen beschermen, terwijl de praktijk het tegenovergestelde laat zien, een praktijk waarvan Assange wel het meest sprekende voorbeeld is……..
Vreemd ook dat men hier niet een internationale petitie van heeft gemaakt, een paar miljoen handtekeningen maken ‘net iets meer indruk…’
Maar geen gezeur, deze oproep is alvast een geweldig begin:

The Isolation of Julian Assange Must Stop

We call on the government of Ecuador to allow Julian Assange his right of freedom of speech.

If it was ever clear that the case of Julian Assange was never just a legal case, but a struggle for the protection of basic human rights, it is now.
Citing his critical tweets about the recent detention of Catalan president Carles Puidgemont in Germany, and following pressure from the US, Spanish and UK governments, the Ecuadorian government has installed an electronic jammer to stop Assange communicating with the outside world via the internet and phone. As if ensuring his total isolation, the Ecuadorian government is also refusing to allow him to receive visitors. Despite two UN rulings describing his detention as unlawful and mandating his immediate release, Assange has been effectively imprisoned since he was first placed in isolation in Wandsworth prison in London in December 2010. He has never been charged with a crime.
The Swedish case against him collapsed and was withdrawn, while the United States has stepped up efforts to prosecute him. His only “crime” is that of a true journalist — telling the world the truths that people have a right to know.
Under its previous president, the Ecuadorian government bravely stood against the bullying might of the United States and granted Assange political asylum as a political refugee. International law and the morality of human rights was on its side.
Today, under extreme pressure from Washington and its collaborators, another government in Ecuador justifies its gagging of Assange by stating that “Assange’s behaviour, through his messages on social media, put at risk good relations which this country has with the UK, the rest of the EU and other nations.”
This censorious attack on free speech is not happening in Turkey, Saudi Arabia or China; it is right in the heart of London. If the Ecuadorian government does not cease its unworthy action, it, too, will become an agent of persecution rather than the valiant nation that stood up for freedom and for free speech. If the EU and the UK continue to participate in the scandalous silencing of a true dissident in their midst, it will mean that free speech is indeed dying in Europe.
This is not just a matter of showing support and solidarity. We are appealing to all who care about basic human rights to call on the government of Ecuador to continue defending the rights of a courageous free speech activist, journalist and whistleblower.
We ask that his basic human rights be respected as an Ecuadorian citizen and internationally protected person and that he not be silenced or expelled.
If there is no freedom of speech for Julian Assange, there is no freedom of speech for any of us — regardless of the disparate opinions we hold.
We call on President Moreno to end the isolation of Julian Assange now.

Klokkenluidershuis een fiasco, zoals voorspeld………

Het Klokkenluidershuis heeft in het jaar dat het bestaat, niet één onderzoek n.a.v. een melding afgerond, zo meldde BNR vanmorgen rond 7.48 u……..

Vreemd is het niet, daar deskundigen (en o.a. uw Azijnpisser) dit al voorspeld hebben bij de aankondiging van het Klokkenluidershuis…….

Mensen die aankloppen bij het Klokkenluidershuis moeten tekenen voor totale geheimhouding (zelfs familieleden mogen niet weten wat er mis is), totaal belachelijk daar bij deze mensen de door hen geconstateerde misstanden zo hoog zit dat ze deze in de openbaarheid willen brengen…….. Kortom het recept om mensen af te schrikken nog de klok te luiden……

Kijk ik zeg wel mislukt, maar gezien de procedure kan je niet anders concluderen dan dat het de opzet van meet af aan was klokkenluiders af te schrikken en vooral de kat niet de bel aan te binden…… Rutte 2 was en is tenslotte een kabinet voor het bedrijfsleven en niet voor de gemiddelde burgers!! (zoals Rutte 3 dit ook zal zijn)

Dan was er in maart van dit jaar nog het bericht dat een AIVD medewerker was verbonden aan het Klokkenluidershuis, een grof schandaal uiteraard en daarmee werd nogmaals bevestigd dat de overheid in feite helemaal geen klokkenluiders duldt………..

Tijd voor een strafrechtelijk onderzoek, immers klokkenluiders kunnen de overheid kapitalen besparen. Neem het bericht over de Erasmusuniversiteit dat vandaag bekend werd gemaakt, waarin werd gemeld dat het Polakgebouw op instorten zou staan, vanwege een foute vloer (die eerder 2 instortingen veroorzaakte). Er schijnt van alles mis te zijn met het gebruikte beton en de vloerconstructie. Waarschijnlijk zijn er een paar honderd van deze vloeren verwerkt in Nederlandse gebouwen. Veronderstel dat een klokkenluider was opgevallen (en wie zegt mij, dat die persoon niet bestaat) dat er van alles mis was met de constructie en het gebruikte beton (al nadat de eerste van deze vloeren waren gelegd). Als deze klokkenluider daarover naar buiten was getreden, had men daar enorme kapitalen mee kunnen besparen, die nu wel uitgegeven moeten worden. De betrokken bouwbedrijven maken alles zo goedkoop mogelijk en verkopen e.e.a. tegen belachelijke kapitalen, uiteraard zitten deze bedrijven niet te wachten op een klokkenluider (zoals de politici die lobbyen voor deze bedrijven daar geen belang bij hebben….) Gegarandeerd dat een aantal verantwoordelijke bedrijven intussen failliet is, of dat die bedrijven een dergelijke grootte hebben dat ze nooit het herstel van die voeren kunnen betalen >> op dat moment komt de belastingbetaler in de kijker en mogen u en ik opdraaien voor een fiks deel van de kosten………..

Het is de VS opperknuppel Pompeo, chef van terreurorganisatie CIA nu werkelijk geheel en al in de smerige bol geslagen.

Pompeo durfde een paar dagen geleden op te merken, dat WikiLeaks in feite een niet-binnenlandse vijandige inlichtingenorganisatie is, die alles op alles zet om de VS onderuit te halen………

De smerige praktijken worden na meer dan een eeuw VS agressie eindelijk naar buiten gebracht door VS klokkenluiders en dat steekt Pompeo, die zich met zijn terreurorganisatie onder andere bezig houdt met: geheime acties in het buitenland, het omverwerpen van VS niet welgevallige regimes (zoals nu onder meer in Venezuela)…… Dezelfde CIA die militaire operaties voorbereid(de) tegen landen als Syrië en Iran, waar de eerste voor een groot deel is mislukt en de tweede wordt voorbereid…….

De VS is zelf bezig met het neerhalen van de VS en dat zoals gezegd al meer dan 100 jaar!! Vanaf 1945 tot het jaar 2000 vermoordde de VS bij illegale oorlogen, staatsgrepen en geheime militaire operaties, meer dan 20 miljoen mensen……….. Voor deze eeuw staat de teller op meer dan 2 miljoen, waar alleen in Irak al meer dan 1,5 miljoen mensen werden vermoord in de illegale oorlog van de VS tegen dat land……

Las vanmorgen op Information Clearing House, dat de VS verantwoordelijk is voor het manipuleren van 81 verkiezingen in 47 landen (dit bericht werd zelfs door CNN gebracht!)……. Voor de leugen dat Rusland de VS verkiezingen heeft gemanipuleerd is geen nanometer bewijs, terwijl daar alle (massa-) media aandacht, inclusief de leugens, naar toe gaat……… Dat de VS alles en iedereen hackt kan intussen iedereen weten, zelfs het bevriende staatshoofd Merkel, de premier van Duitsland, was niet veilig voor de NSA hacks…….

Pompeo wil klokkenluiders nog harder aanpakken en wil ook journalisten vervolgen, die berichten over de WikiLeaks documenten……..

(ANTIWAR.COM) — CIA Director Mike Pompeo remains inconsolably hostile toward whistleblower organization WikiLeaks, insisting they are a “non-state hostile intelligence service” and are plotting to “take down America any way they can and find any willing partner to achieve that end.”
Hostility to WikiLeaks has been a mainstay in the US government, as every administration faces the prospect of their covert misdeeds becoming a matter of public record, to their general embarrassment albeit rarely to the end of any meaningful reform.

Pompeo argued that the US needs to use the Espionage Act much more in going after leakers who aren’t actually foreign spies, though he stopped short of openly endorsing Espionage prosecutions against journalists for reporting on the leaks.
President Trump had a positive attitude toward WikiLeaks during last year’s campaign, declaring “I love WikiLeaks.” Pompeo insists he doesn’t feel the same way, and that US intelligence agencies need to find ways to fight the organization.

Een behoorlijk stinkende zaak mensen, Reality Leigh Winner, een ‘contractor’ voor de NSA heeft geheime documenten gelekt over een ‘Russische cyberaanval en Russische vispogingen (‘phishing’) in e-mails aan lokale VS verkiezingsbeambten’.

De reguliere mediaorganen in binnen en (westers) buitenland slaan zich op de knieën van pret, als zou nu dan toch eindelijk het bewijs boven tafel zijn gekomen, de ‘smoking gun’ zo u wilt, dat Rusland de VS verkiezingen heeft gemanipuleerd……

Volgens The Intercept, die de gelekte documenten ontving, blijkt uit de documenten dat er ‘vanuit Rusland’ minstens één grote cybveraanval is uitgevoerd, en zouden er kort voor de presidentsverkiezingen in de VS, meer dan 100 Russische ‘phishing emails’ zijn verzonden naar lokale verkiezingsbeambten………

Echter in de documenten die vrijgekomen zijn, wordt niet eens gesproken over een cyberaanval tegen de VS, er is alleen informatie vergaard (wat je ‘spionage’ zou kunnen noemen), er is nooit een gevaar geweest voor bepaalde accounts en ook zijn de verkiezingen in de VS nooit in gevaar gekomen…… Voorts wordt erop gewezen, dat de cyberspionage (daar zou zoals eerder gesteld, wel sprake van zijn ) werd gedaan met technieken, die niet worden gebruikt door het Russische leger, die als dader werd en wordt aangewezen door de geheime diensten in de VS……

Weer blijkt dat de VS geen greintje bewijs heeft voor Russische inmenging bij de verkiezingen

Eén ding is zeker, The Intercept heeft (weer) een uiterst dubieuze rol gespeeld, de klokkenluider had nooit bekend mogen worden. Ik vraag me af, of er niet ‘een beetje opzet in het spel is’, gezien de reacties in de westerse pers……….

The Intercept Has A Source Burning Problem

(MPN) Long having built its reputation on reports derived from classified information provided to them by leakers, The Intercept now finds itself in the unpleasant position of having burned – or outed – one of its anonymous sources.
The leaker, Reality Leigh Winner, allegedly gave The Intercept classified NSA documents pertaining to an investigation of Russian military intelligence hacking within the U.S. and now faces years in prison under the Espionage Act. While outing Winner could have been the result of negligence, the FBI affidavit explaining why the bureau arrested Winner shows it went beyond mere negligence.
According to FBI documents, a reporter at the paper sent the leaked documents to a contractor working for the National Security Agency (NSA) – the very agency they had been taken from – a full week before The Intercept published the story. The alleged intention was to let the NSA itself verify the documents, an unusual move for a news outlet that was originally intended to have exclusive publication rights over the Snowden leaks that exposed NSA surveillance. Upon being contacted, the NSA asked that The Intercept redact parts of the document and The Intercept complied with some of those requests.
The FBI warrant also notes that the reporter in question – who is unnamed in the document – contacted a government contractor with whom he had a prior relationship and revealed where the documents had been postmarked from – Winner’s home of Augusta, Georgia – along with Winner’s work location. He also sent unedited images of the documents that contained security markings that allowed the document to be traced to Winner.
While the reporter’s identity remains unknown, the published report has four authors – two of whom have been known to burn sources before. Journalists Richard Esposito and Matthew Cole once found themselves involved in a case against CIA whistleblower John Kiriakou. Kiriakou specifically singled out Cole as having not only misled him, but having played a likely role in incriminating him. Kiriakou spent nearly two years in prison for exposing the CIA’s torture program.

WikiLeaks, a publishing organization committed to transparency that maintains the confidentiality of its sources, has sharply condemned The Intercept’s role in Winner’s arrest. WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange wrote that “If the FBI affidavit is accurate, the reporter concerned must be named, shamed and fired by whomever they work for to maintain industry standards.” “Source-burning reporters are a menace,” he continued. “They chill trust in all journalists, which impedes public understanding.”
WikiLeaks is now offering a $10,000 reward for information “leading to the public exposure & termination” of the responsible reporter.

“While the FBI’s allegations against Winner have been made public through the release of an affidavit and search warrant, which were unsealed at the government’s request, it is important to keep in mind that these documents contain unproven assertions and speculation designed to serve the government’s agenda and as such warrant skepticism. Winner faces allegations that have not been proven. The same is true of the FBI’s claims about how it came to arrest Winner.”
The paper’s most prominent journalist, Glenn Greenwald, has distanced himself from the article and claimed that he does not edit the paper – even though his bio lists him as a “founding co-editor.”

The Intercept’s corporate dark side

This latest debacle for The Intercept may be proving the organization’s long-time critics right. The short history of the publication shows that it was hardly set up to serve the public interest. The paper was founded by Pierre Omidyar, a billionaire and major owner of both eBay and PayPal, who gave the project more than $50 million in seed money.
This alone should have been enough to complicate its mission “to hold the most powerful governmental and corporate factions accountable.”
Its first hires were Glenn Greenwald, Jeremy Scahill, and Laura Poitras – all of whom were involved in publishing the Snowden revelations, as well as other leaks. Greenwald and Poitras were the only journalists with the full Snowden cache and those secrets now belong to a single billionaire running a for-profit media company.
Omidyar’s connections to the U.S. political establishment are numerous and concerning. One of his foundation’s microcredit projects to “help” farmers in India led to an epidemic of farmer suicides that gained international headlines, as farmers became unable to pay the foundation back. His network has also funded regime change operations with USAID, most recently in Ukraine. In addition, Omidyar was well-connected to the Obama White House, which stood to lose the most from the mass publication of the Snowden cache. One of Omidyar’s main companies, PayPal, is said to be implicated in some of the NSA documents that have still been withheld.
Omidyar’s influence on The Intercept has also been established. Former Intercept writer Ken Silverstein wrote that, at the paper, “a cult of personality existed around him [Omidyar] internally that disrupted the whole organization” and that “the company’s culture centered on Omidyar.”
This background makes it less surprising that The Intercept has been caught publishing partisan stories that back U.S. establishment objectives, such as articles supporting U.S.-led regime change efforts in Syria and the very piece that outed Winner.

Outing a source only to perpetuate the “Russian hacker” narrative

The Intercept piece at the center of the controversy is particularly troubling. Titled “Top-Secret NSA Report Details Russian Hacking Effort Days Before 2016 Election,” it asserts that “Russian military intelligence executed a cyberattack on at least one U.S. voting software supplier and sent spear-phishing emails to more than 100 local election officials just days before last November’s presidential election, according to a highly classified intelligence report obtained by The Intercept.”
However, the NSA report that The Intercept published in tandem with the article provides no evidence for that claim, as it does not even mention of a cyberattack by “cyber espionage operations,” indicating that no one was attacked and only that information was collected. It also presents no proof that any accounts were compromised, nor were the U.S. elections. Even worse is that the document itself states that techniques were used by this cyber espionage actor that distinguish it from known Russian military intelligence operations, meaning the act in question may not have been carried out by Russian intelligence.
In addition, the piece quotes cyber security expert Bruce Schneier. However, Schneier is a well-known Clinton supporter and argued that Russia hacked the Democrats as far back as last July, a claim for which there is still no evidence. The Intercept piece fails to mention this aspect of Schneier’s background.
Essentially, The Intercept piece – which could lead to hard prison time for one very unfortunate whistleblower – does not accurately interpret the classified information at its core and instead seeks to propagate the “Russian hacker” narrative still being peddled by the parts of the U.S. establishment that are still bitter over Hillary Clinton’s loss. Given Omidyar’s cozy ties with the Obama White House and the left-leaning slant of The Intercept’s current editor Betsy Reed, this could be more than coincidence.
While The Intercept is now making headlines for outing a source, the bigger message is that the paper has revealed itself as being part of the system of establishment journalism it purports to stand against.

Als u het artikel van Anti-Media hebt gelezen, zal het u opvallen dat het NOS artikel behoorlijk rammelt en concludeert dat er inderdaad Russische hacks en manipulaties hebben plaatsgevonden, waar nog wel wordt gesteld, dat dit verder geen invloed heeft gehad

Veel verder gaat de Volkskrant (die de ‘smoking gun al lang geleden vond’), in dit flutblad dat in het (recente) verleden al een gigantisch aantal nepnieuwsberichten heeft gepubliceerd, durfde Michael Persson op 6 juni jl. het volgende te zeggen:

‘Het aan The Intercept gelekte document is een gedetailleerd schema van een aanval van Russische hackers op Amerikaanse fabrikanten van stemcomputers. De Amerikaanse inlichtingendienst NSA concludeert, zo valt te lezen, dat de Russische militaire inlichtingendienst GROe achter de phishingoperatie zat.

Dat is nieuw: de Russische aanvallen op de electorale infrastructuur waren bekend, maar de conclusie dat ook dit een door het Kremlin gecoördineerde actie was is nog niet eerder (openbaar) getrokken. Overigens is er is nog steeds geen aanwijzing dat die infiltratiepogingen effect hebben gehad op de verkiezingsuitslag.‘

Ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! De eerdere claims van Russische bemoeienis (‘de Russische aanvallen op de electorale infrastructuur waren bekend’), waar geen flinter bewijs voor werd geleverd, zijn voor de Volkskrant en ‘journalist’ Persson feiten, waar de documenten die nu gelekt zijn aan worden toegevoegd als bevestiging……. Dit terwijl de documenten die naar The Intercept werden gelekt, volkomen fout worden uitgelegd door de Volkskrant en in feite het tegenovergestelde bewijzen……… Gelukkig stelt ook Persson, dat de zogenaamde Russische hacks geen invloed hebben gehad op de verkiezingen……. Vreemd dat de westerse reguliere media niet massaal met grote koppen komen, waarin wordt gesteld, dat de (zogenaamde) Russische hacks geen invloed hebben gehad op de VS presidentsverkiezingen. Immers dit werd en wordt nog steeds wel volgehouden door diezelfde media (waar de Volkskrant wel een heel vreemde draai maakt, zoals u kon lezen). Ach ja, als je dergelijke zaken eerder prominent als (nep-) nieuws bracht, ga je dat natuurlijk niet op de voorpagina onderuit halen……….
