Star Wars 2.0: Trump wil een ‘raketafweersysteem’ in de ruimte

Jason Ditz plaatste op ANTIWAR een artikel over de wil van Trump een raketafweersysteem in de ruimte te construeren. Eerder kondigde Trump al aan (waarschijnlijk nadat hij een marathon van Star War films had gezien) dat de VS een militair ruimteleger zal opzetten……

Overigens bepaald niet de eerste keer dat men in de VS sprak over een VS raketafweersysteem in de ruimte: ook de knettergekke president en B-acteur Reagan wilde in de 80er jaren van de vorige eeuw een raketafweersysteem in de ruimte, een plan dat destijds sarcastisch Star Wars werd genoemd……
Verder hebben zowel Trump als zijn adviseur Bolton aangekondigd dat de VS uit het INF verdrag zal stappen, met de claim dat Rusland zich niet aan dit verdrag houdt, terwijl het juist de VS is die met een ‘raketschild’ in Polen en Roemenië de boel verder op scherp heeft gesteld…… Dat raketschild zou gericht zijn tegen raketten uit Iran, terwijl dat land bepaald niet bekend staat als land dat overal en nergens illegale oorlogen begint, zoals de VS dat met hulp van andere NAVO partners pleegt te doen…..
De raketten van het raketschild in Polen en Roemenië kunnen in een mum van tijd van kernkoppen worden voorzien en daarmee als aanvalsraketten worden ingezet…… Met dat schild heeft de VS dan ook het Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces-verdrag (INF-verdrag) al lang en breed geschonden, immers de raketten van het raketschild staan op strategische afstand van doelen als Moskou in Rusland, een afstand die binnen het INF-verdrag als verboden is gekenmerkt, ofwel raketten die doelen op een afstand van 500 tot 5.500 kilometer kunnen raken……
Het voorgaande terwijl zoals gezegd de VS het gore lef heeft te stellen dat Rusland het INF-verdrag schendt…..
Geen sterk stuk van Ditz, daar hij een aantal zaken is vergeten. Waar hij een punt heeft is zijn stelling dat de VS duidelijk van zins is om Rusland vergeldingscapaciteit uit te schakelen, ofwel dat Rusland bij een nucleaire aanval van de VS plus haar NAVO partners GB en Frankrijk, geen raketten als vergelding kan lanceren…… Het voorgaande zal leiden tot een nieuwe wapenrace en deze is zeker niet in het belang van het volk in de VS, Rusland en de rest van Europa……

Met een ruimte raketafweersysteem breekt de VS de al zeer fragiele stabiliteit in de wereld verder af, terwijl Trump, Bolton en andere top-oorlogsmisdadigers in de VS, keer op keer schermen met de leugen dat de VS de stabiliteit in de wereld bewaart en bewaakt…….. Hoe verzint men het en dat in een land dat de ene illegale oorlog na de andere begint??!!! De VS houdt zich verder bezig met economische oorlogsvoering en het opzetten van opstanden die tot een staatsgreep moeten leiden……. Ook vermoordt de VS een enorm aantal verdachten (ofwel illegale executies zonder een fatsoenlijke rechtszaak) middels drones, waarbij meer dan 90% van de slachtoffers niet eens werd verdacht, dus veelal vrouwen en kinderen…… Alsof al deze zaken stabilisatie bevorderend zijn……

Eén ding is zeker: mocht WOIII uitbreken is deze één op één ‘te danken aan’ de grootste terreurentiteit op de wereld, t.w. de VS (en haar oorlogshond de NAVO)…….

(ANTIWAR.COM) — In what looks to be a highly ambitious and even more highly cost prohibitive scheme, President Trump has announced his intention to greatly expand US missile defense systems, with a major focus on putting them in space.
During his announcement Thursday at the Pentagon, Trump set out his goals, saying that he wants “to ensure that we can detect and destroy any missile launched against the United States – anywhere, anytime, anyplace.”
The Pentagon has had space-based interceptors on its wish list for some time, but between that and drones with lasers on them, they were far short of the sort of total, planet-wide coverage that President Trump is talking about.
A space-centric missile defense system must inevitably draw comparisons to the Strategic Defense Initiative, commonly called Star Wars, of the 1980s, a controversial and hugely expensive program that also sought space-based interceptors.
The timing of President Trump’s announcement will likely raise eyebrows on a few fronts, as it comes just a day after the US announced its intentions to withdraw from the Intermediate Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty with Russia, and just a day before North Korean officials are to arrive to meet with the secretary of state.
Especially with respect to Russia, US buildups of missile defense systems have been met with major suspicion that the US is trying to eliminate Russia’s deterrent capability, a concern which often leads to Russian threats of a new arms race. With a treaty having just collapsed, that’s an even bigger concern this time.
This also likely is tied to President Trump’s long-standing fondness for militarizing space, and his attempts to create a Space Force. During his speech, Trump declared space to be a “new warfighting domain.”

Beste bezoeker: dit bericht heb ik in eerste instantie geplaatst op 2 juli 2018, zag vandaag (10 juli 2018) dat dit bericht opnieuw als concept staat geregistreerd, vandaar opnieuw de plaatsing van dit artikel:

 Irak, je weet wel het land dat Nederland ondersteunt in ‘de strijd tegen terreur’ (tegen een gigantische bak belastinggeld), heeft onmiddellijk na het bekend worden dat 8 gegijzelde militairen vermoord zijn gevonden, 6 IS gevangenen laten executeren, althans dat bericht bracht BBC World Service afgelopen vrijdag…… (vrijdag 29 juni 2018)

Op ANTIWAR schreef Jason Ditz het hieronder opgenomen artikel, waarin hij over die eerste 6 executies niets schrijft en ik kon op het net geen bevestiging vinden voor dit eerdere BBC bericht.
Wel heeft de Iraakse premier Haider al-Abadi bekend gemaakt dat als vergelding voor deze moord er snel een massamoord zal worden uitgevoerd op 212 IS (ISIS) gevangenen….. Een manier van handelen die vooral onder nazi-Duits bewind door de SS werd gebruikt, zo werden alle manlijke inwoners van Putten naar dodenkampen afgevoerd, nadat in de buurt van Putten op 1 oktober 1944 een wagen met Duitse Wehrmacht officieren werd aangevallen door het verzet. In totaal kwamen door de Duitse wraakactie 552 mensen om het leven, ofwel zij: werden vermoord in de Duitse concentratiekampen…… Overigens noemde de nazi-Duitse bezetter dergelijke acties van het verzet terreur…..
Sinds 2014 heeft Irak minstens 250 gevangenen op laten hangen, waar mensenrechtengroeperingen stellen dat deze gevangenen geen fatsoenlijke rechtszaak hebben gekregen……. De 212 die al-Abadi zo snel mogelijk wil laten vermoorden zijn al ter dood veroordeeld en volgens dezelfde mensenrechtenorganisaties hebben ook deze gevangenen geen eerlijk proces gehad…..
In Irak is intussen al een fiks bedrag aan Nederlands belastinggeld gebruikt in de strijd ‘tegen terreur’, terwijl nu nog eens blijkt dat Irak zelf terreur uitoefent….. Alsof we militair een fascistische dictatuur ondersteunen……. Dit alles dankzij de door Nederland gesteunde illegale oorlog die de VS onder Bush in 2003 tegen Irak begon, waar Nederland ook nog eens aan de voorbereiding meedeed, door inlichtingen te verzamelen middels een duikboot vol ‘spionage-elektronica’. Later hebben zelfs Nederlandse militairen meegevochten naast VS/Britse troepen; waar een klein land ‘al niet groot in kan zijn…..’
Nog steeds, of beter gezegd alweer zijn Nederlandse F16’s* aanwezig in Irak, straaljagers die ook worden ingezet in de illegale oorlog van de VS tegen de democratisch gekozen Syrische regering Assad……. Hoeveel doden de Nederlandse F16’s in de loop van de jaren hebben gemaakt, blijft belachelijk genoeg geheim, daar men zegt bang te zijn voor vergelding (een terroristische aanslag in Nederland, als gevolg van grootschalige westerse terreur, mede mogelijk gemaakt door Nederland, met ons belastinggeld)**, alsof het feit dat Nederland mee moordt in Irak al niet genoeg is om terreur op onze straten uit te lokken….

In feite gaven en geven de waardeloze kabinetten, respectievelijk Rutte 2 en 3, met het voorgaande toe dat het meedoen aan moordpartijen in landen waar we niets te zoeken hebben, terreur kunnen uitlokken op onze straten, terwijl deze kabinetten net doen of de VS en de rest van de ‘vrije wereld’ werden/worden aangevallen en er daarom wordt gevochten in Irak……. (in feite is er wat dat betreft niet veel veranderd aan de retoriek voorafgaand aan de illegale oorlog tegen Irak in 2003….)
Schande!!

Iraq PM Orders Immediate Execution of Hundreds of ‘Terrorists’

Says mass killing will be ‘fair punishment’ after ISIS killed eight hostages

Citing the need for revenge after eight hostages were found executed by ISIS north of Baghdad, Iraqi PM Hayder Abadi called for the immediate execution of all convicted terrorists in Iraqi custody. This is believed to be 212 detainees.

While Abadi initially said this was important to avenge the eight hostages, he also presented it as “fair punishment” for the detainees, and would be a further completion of the “purge” against ISIS-linked forces in Iraq.


212 to be executed assumes only those already sentenced to death will be killed. According to Human Rights Watch, those sentenced to death include people accused of cooking for ISIS forces, and those who worked in hospitals in ISIS-run territory.

 Iraq has hung at least 250 detainees since 2014, and has been fast-tracking them in recent months. Iraq has been under growing criticism for its court system’s handling of “terror” suspects, with rights groups saying they fail at even the most basic due process.

Israëlische terreur in Negev: dorp voor 114de keer ‘gebulldozerd’

Anti-Media meldde eergisteren, dat het Palestijnse Bedoeïenendorp al-Araqib voor de 114de keer werd gebulldozerd…… U denkt wellicht, 114 keer, is dat niet wat overdreven, maar zelfs één keer zou één keer teveel zijn!!

De Palestijnse bedoeïenen wonen al een paar duizend jaar in de Negev, maar als het de fascistische apartheidsregering van Israël behaagd, verklaart het bedoeïenen dorpen als niet bestaand en dus illegaal. Dit terwijl illegale Israëlische nederzettingen in het gebied mogen worden uitgebreid, sterker nog, deze worden niet zelden gebouwd op de plek waar eerst een Palestijns bedoeïenendorp werd vernietigd door de fascistische Israëlische overheidsdiensten………

Al vaker gemeld op deze plek, Israël, haar politie en het Israëlische leger gebruiken nazi-Duitse methoden als vergelding, iets dat begin negentiger jaren zelfs werd toegegeven door officieren uit het Israëlische leger…… Nog een staaltje nazi-Duitse terreur: de bewoners van al-Araqib worden verantwoordelijk gesteld voor de kosten van het bulldozeren van hun huizen, deze kosten zijn nu al ruim de half miljoen dollar gepasseerd……….

Israeli Bulldozers Demolish Palestinian Village for 114th Time in Seven Years

Israeli bulldozers flattened a village inhabited by the ancient Palestinian Bedouins, a tribe that has lived on the land for thousands of years. Israeli authorities have systematically run the indigenous Bedouins off of their land to pave the way for Jewish-only settlements.
(MPN) — Israel Land Authority (ILA) officials, along with Israeli police and several bulldozers, raided and then demolished the Bedouin village of al-Araqib in the Negev region this week.
The demolition marked the 114th time that the ILA has destroyed the village, with the first time taking place in 2010 and the most recent prior to Wednesday’s demolition taking place just last month.
Most of the structures that were demolished on Wednesday were tin homes that village residents had built over the course of the last month in order to continue living in the area.
But while the residents of al-Araqib are grappling with the most recent demolition that has wiped out their village, Israeli Jewish communities in the region continue to expand on Palestinian land.
Last, year, the ILA approved five new Jewish-only residential settlements in the Negev, two of which are located where “unrecognized” Palestinian Bedouin villages currently stand.
Several rights groups have argued that the demolition of Bedouin villages is directly related to the expansion of illegal Jewish settlements, describing the policy as a means of removing the indigenous Palestinian population in order to create even more settlements for Jewish-only Israelis.
Since Israel’s inception in 1948, white Jewish-only settlements have been built on indigenous Palestinian land after the indigenous population has been ethnically cleansed in order to accommodate European Jews in beginning their new lives in Israel.
The historic Palestinian Bedouins have lived in the villages since they were forcibly transferred to the sites by an Israeli military order issued in 1956. However, the Bedouins significantly predate the state of Israel, as they have lived in the area for thousands of years as the original Arab ethnic group of the Middle East.
ILA officials have been repeatedly accused by residents of carrying out demolitions with little consideration for the village’s residents. Indeed, instead of providing any resources for the now-homeless villagers, al-Araqib’s residents have been ordered by the Israeli government to pay for the cumulative cost of the 114 demolitions that have been carried out since 2010, a figure which stands at more than 2 million shekels, or roughly $541,000.
However, the Palestinian Bedouins – despite the constant destruction of their homes – have remained defiant, refusing to relocate. Following last month’s demolition, al-Araqib resident Sayyah al-Turi told the Ma’an News Agency “All demolition crimes will not scare us or stop us from rebuilding our homes and holding on to our lands. We will stay here despite the injustice and criminal demolitions, we will not submit to their plans of uprooting and displacing us.”
Al-Araqib is one of 35 Bedouin villages that the Israeli government considers “unrecognized,” even thoughmore than half of the estimated 160,000 Bedouins living in the Negev region reside in such villages. The “unrecognized” classification also prevents Bedouins living in these villages from developing or expanding their communities. It has also led to Israeli authorities refusing to connect the villages to national water and electric grids and refusing to offer their residents healthcare and educational services, despite the fact that the Bedouins are technically Israeli citizens.

Settlement activity on the rise

However, the Israeli demolition of Palestinian housing has become more prominent in 2017, as pushes to expand Israeli settlements and the demolition of indigenous Palestinian homes have both spiked since the year began.
The Israeli NGO Peace Now reported earlier this month that the number of settlements approved in the first half of 2017 is nearly triple the number that was approved in all of 2016, with 7,721 housing units approved since January compared to 2,657 over the entire course of last year.
Demolitions of Palestinian homes within Israel have also picked up in the first half of the year, beginning with a deadly pre-dawn demolition raid on the Bedouin village of Umm al-Hiran in January. A new Jewish-Israeli town called “Hiran” is set to take the village’s place.
The push to expand illegal settlements at all costs has recently brought international condemnation against the Israeli government, with the United States, the United Kingdom and Japan condemning the expansion of illegal settlements, saying this phenomenon is “not conducive” to the peace process.
However, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu seems less than concerned with such statements, as evidenced by his comments at a ceremony celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Six-Day War earlier this month. At the ceremony, Netanyahu promised an audience of Jewish settlers that he was “doing whatever is needed to protect the Jewish settlement enterprise.”
It will likely take more than stern words from foreign governments to convince the Israeli government to abandon its illegal activities, which have compounded the suffering of indigenous Palestinians who are losing their land to modern-day colonization.
