Nieuwe ‘as van kwaad’: VS, GB en Frankrijk uit op oorlog met Syrië en Noord-Korea……..

Afgelopen woensdag bracht Anti-Media een artikel geschreven door Darius Shahtahmasebi. Hierin stelt hij dat de VS, Frankrijk en Groot-Brittannië bezig zijn met de voorbereiding op een oorlog tegen Syrië (de regering Assad) en Noord-Korea…… Daarmee kan je de VS, GB en Frankrijk aanwijzen als het VS cliché: ‘as van het kwaad’, zeker daar deze landen zich al langer hebben schuldig gemaakt aan het uitoefenen van grootschalige terreur in het Midden-Oosten……

Zo zou Macron een rode lijn hebben gesteld voor Syrië: nog één keer een aanval met gifgas en Frankrijk zal het reguliere Syrische leger aanvallen…… Dit terwijl er, zoals je wellicht wel weet, geen enkel bewijs is voor een gifgasaanval gepleegd door het Syrische leger, sinds de VS opstanden organiseerde en gewapende groepen tekeer liet gaan in Syrië, zodat Assad beschuldigd zou worden en men zijn kop zou eisen…. (de VS, Saoedi-Arabië, Groot-Brittannië e.a. waren al vanaf 2006 bezig met de voorbereiding daartoe……*)

 Voor de uitgevoerde gifgasaanvallen werd na onderzoek keer op keer vastgesteld dat deze niet van het reguliere Syrische leger kwamen, iets dat ‘uiteraard’ niet of ergens ver weggestopt de reguliere westerse media haalde…….. Zoals gezegd: deze gifgasaanvallen worden steevast door de terreurgroepen zelf uitgevoerd, waarna ze Assad beschuldigen van massamoord, dat is wat men een ‘false flag’ operatie noemt……..
Echter in het westen blijven ‘we’ gewoon doen of we doof zijn en blijven het Syrische bewind beschuldigen….. Volgens een VN rapport zou Noord-Korea onderdelen voor een laboratorium hebben geleverd, waaronder zuurbestendige tegels. Let wel, de reguliere media stellen dat Syrië daarmee gifgas kan maken echter er zijn geen grondstoffen geleverd voor gifgas, bijvoorbeeld zoals Nederland die in de 80er jaren leverde aan Saddam Hoessein in Irak….. (met dank aan VVD schoft Bolkestein) Toch zou de Noord-Koreaanse levering het bewijs zijn ‘dat Assad’ nog steeds chemische wapens maakt…. Alsof er niet voor veel andere zaken zuurbestendige tegels in laboratoria nodig zijn…….. Dan nog is het maar de vraag of deze claim klopt, het komt de anti-Assad coalitie wel heel erg goed uit……..
Zo te lezen staat Shahtahmasebi wel achter de uitspraak van de Britse minister van Buitenlandse Zaken, de neoliberale dweil Boris Johnson, toen hij stelde dat ‘we’ geen militaire oplossing kunnen afdwingen in Syrië: “no military solution that we can impose”. Daar valt wel wat op aan te merken, de militaire oplossing is heel simpel: de VS, GB en Frankrijk moeten hun militairen onmiddellijk terugtrekken uit Syrië! (en stoppen met het steunen van terreurgroepen daar!)

Het westen en dan m.n. De VS is de grote terrorist die als ‘het moet’ over miljoenen lijken gaat en dat in het verleden al heeft gedaan (alleen deze eeuw al meer dan 2 miljoen vermoorde mensen en gerekend vanaf WOII meer dan 22 miljoen slachtoffers…..)
Terecht merkt Shahtahmasebi op dat de VS wel heel erg hypocriet bezig is in de VN (althans wat er nog aan ‘normale praat’ uitkomt bij de VS ambassadeur daar, Nikki Haley) immers in de VN blokkeert Rusland dan wel resoluties (overigens volkomen terecht) tegen Syrië, maar de VS spreekt haar veto bij wijze van spreken al uit als iemand met de vinger naar de fascistische apartheidsstaat Israël wijst………
Voorts noemt Shahtahmasebi de vermeende gifgas aanval in Oost-Ghouta van vorige week zondag, o.a. gemeld door het Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), volgens hem geleid door een Syrische dissident, echter dat is niet waar, deze figuur is een ordinaire misdadiger >> Osama Suleiman, die Syrië ontvluchtte vanwege een veroordeling tot gevangenisstraf…... Voorts krijgt deze Sulieman z’n informatie van de terreurgroepen in Syrië, ‘lekker betrouwbaar……’ Echter er waren meer meldingen van een gifgasaanval waarbij een baby zou zijn omgekomen……. Eerder werd er al melding gemaakt van een voorbereiding tot een false flag gifgasaanval door terreurgroepen in Syrië….**

 Blijkbaar was de claim van een gifgasaanval door het Syrische leger op Oost-Ghouta zo ongeloofwaardig dat deze werd genegeerd door de reguliere westerse media, dezelfde media die bij het vallen van het woord ‘gifgasaanval’ onmiddellijk naar Assad wijzen…… Dat de VS coalitie bij de ‘bevrijding’ van Raqqa het chemische wapen witte fosfor heeft ingezet, was voor de reguliere westerse media alweer geen reden om prominent over te berichten, laat staan dit aan de kaak te stellen……..

Wat betreft Noord-Korea heeft de VS al helemaal geen excuses meer nodig, de VS stelt gewoon dat dit land een direct gevaar is voor de VS, terwijl het maar zeer de vraag is of N-K zelfs maar een atoombom heeft, daar nog nooit iemand meldde dat er nucleaire straling is gemeten op de plek ‘waaronder de kernproeven plaatsvonden’, straling die zelfs met satellieten is te meten……

(ANTIMEDIA Op-ed) — The United States, the United Kingdom, and France are gearing up for a renewed assault on Syria and North Korea. Earlier this month, French President Emmanuel Macron said France will strike Syria if chemical weapons have been used against civilians in the Syrian war in violation of the international treaty banning chemical weapons — even though he admitted he had not yet seen proof this was the case.
“On chemical weapons, I set a red line and I reaffirm that red line,” Macron told reporters. “If we have proven evidence that chemical weapons proscribed in treaties are used, we will strike the place where they are made.”
“Today, our agencies, our armed forces have not established that chemical weapons, as set out in treaties, have been used against the civilian population,” he added.
On Monday, British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson also argued in the British Parliament that there was a case for “limited strikes” if there was “incontrovertible evidence of further use of chemical weapons by the Assad regime or their supporters.”
However, he did indicate that there was “no military solution that we can impose” to bring peace to the war-torn country.
Despite this, he still suggested that the U.S. “did the right thing” when it attacked the Syrian government in April of last year in response to a suspected — though highly disputed — chemical weapons attack.
“I will certainly hope the West does not stand idly by,” Johnson added.
Opposition member John Woodcock appeared to take the pro-war rhetoric even further, stating that the U.N. Security Council “is broken while one of its permanent members flouts the basic laws and systems of order it was created to uphold.”
In case it wasn’t clear, this a reference to Russia, which has backed the Assad government through almost every U.N. Security Council vote. The irony of this, of course, is that it works both ways; the U.S. also regularly uses its veto to protect Israel, a country the U.N. regards as breaking international law in more ways than one.
“In these dreadful circumstances, being cowed into inaction by this strangulated body is a greater violation than seeking to act even without its own authorization,” Woodcock added.
Only a few weeks ago, the U.S. launched a deadly attack on pro-government troops, including Russian mercenaries on the ground in Syria, signaling that the U.S. will most likely not hesitate in striking Assad directly if the wind blows in the right direction.
On Sunday, Middle East Eye reported that there were signs that civilians had been hit by a suspected chlorine attack in Eastern Ghouta. The source of the claim was the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), an outfit run by one anti-Assad dissident in Coventry, England. Multiple outlets have also echoed the claims that Assad’s government has deployed chemical attacks early this year, though none of them seem to question the reliability of the allegations themselves.
Now, multiple outlets are reporting on an unreleased U.N. report that allegedly found North Korea has been providing Syria with supplies that could be used to make chemical weapons. According to the New York Times, the still-to-be-released report claims items including acid-resistant tiles, valves, and thermometers were shipped from North Korea to the Syrian government. The report also alleges that Pyongyang missile experts have been seen working in Syrian chemical weapons and missile facilities.
The report allegedly states that trade between North Korea and Syria poses a serious risk because it appears to allow Syria to maintain chemical weapons and allow North Korea to fund its nuclear program.
Further muddying the waters of truth are reports that previously emerged from Russian state-owned media claiming Russia’s Center for Reconciliation in Syria said it had been warned in advance that al-Qaeda linked terrorists brought in chlorine containers to a village in Syria, where they were to work with the White Helmets to stage “a provocation.”
Whether one wants to believe the Russian media’s claims or not, it is worth reminding ourselves that attacking a sovereign nation that poses no immediate threat to the U.S. and its allies is a major breach of international law unless that action has been approved by the U.N. Security Council. In the case of North Korea, the U.S. will most likely use the justification of what is known as preemptive self-defense to claim the right to protect itself from North Korea’s alleged nuclear program; in contrast, in Syria, the U.S. and its allies are hoping to invoke the “responsibility to protect” doctrine. Clearly, the recent claims about North Korea’s involvement in Syrian chemical weapons attacks suggest the U.S. may hope to bring a strike on North Korea to the table within this same pro-interventionist framework regarding the protection of Syrian civilians from deadly chemical weapons attacks.
However, in previously leaked audio, even former Secretary of State John Kerry admitted that the “responsibility to protect” argument had not yet evolved into a complete doctrine that could justify U.S. aggression towards Syria.
“The problem is that the Russians don’t care about international law, but we do,” Kerry stated behind closed doors to opposition members at the Dutch mission to the United Nations at the time. “And we don’t have the basis – our lawyers tell us – unless we have the U.N. Security Council Resolution, which the Russians can veto, and the Chinese, or unless we are under attack from the folks there, or unless we are invited in. Russia is invited in by the legitimate regime – well it’s illegitimate in our mind – but by the regime. And so they were invited in and we are not invited in. We’re flying in airspace there where they can turn on the air defenses and we would have a very different scene. The only reason they are letting us fly is because we are going after ISIL. If we were going after Assad, those air defenses, we would have to take out all the air defenses, and we don’t have the legal justification, frankly, unless we stretch it way beyond the law.” [emphasis added]
Where does that leave us? It should be clear that the U.S., the U.K., and France have no real leg to stand on when it comes to justifying their desire to disrupt the Syrian and North Korean governments. It is also apparent that the U.S. and its allies want us to believe they are concerned with human rights and chemical weapons attacks in Syria, even while the U.S.-led coalition used white phosphorus in the Syrian city of Raqqa – a city they destroyed at least 80 percent of in a ruthless and deadly siege that killed thousands of civilians.

Oud-geheime dienst medewerkers en inlichtingen veteranen hebben een memorandum voor president beest Trump geschreven, met de waarschuwing geen oorlog met Iran te beginnen, dit daar ze de tekenen daartoe zien…… Zoals ze ook president George W Bush (nog zo’n gevaarlijke malloot, dat geldt overigens ook voor Obama de gespletene) waarschuwden geen oorlog te beginnen met Irak in de 6 weken voordat de VS illegaal, een op leugens gebaseerde oorlog begon tegen dat land…….

We weten wat van de illegale oorlog tegen Irak heeft gebracht: meer dan 1,5 miljoen vermoorde Irakezen en een land dat in chaos is gedompeld en in puin ligt (reken maar niet, met IS in het defensief, dat de ellende voor de bevolking daar voorbij is…..)
Een en ander is ook ingegeven door het bezoek dat de Israëlische Palestijnenslachter Netanyahu volgende week aan de VS zal brengen, deze psychopathische moordenaar ‘is gewond geraakt’ door met bewijs onderbouwde zware beschuldigingen van corruptie……* En als bij gewonde roofdieren moet je dan extra oppassen, immers een oorlog met Iran zou Netanyahu nu wel uitermate goed uitkomen…….

 Uiteraard zal de VS komen met een zogenaamd bewijs waarop het ‘niet anders kan’ dan Iran aanvallen, ofwel een ‘false flag’ operatie, zoals de VS die door haar bloedige geschiedenis heen heeft gebruikt voor het uitoefenen van ongebreidelde agressie, of beter gezegd: grootschalige terreur………..

Intelligence Veterans Warn of Growing Risk for War With Iran Based on False Pretexts

(CN) — As President Donald Trump prepares to host Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu next week, a group of U.S. intelligence veterans offers corrections to a number of false accusations that have been leveled against Iran.
MEMORANDUM FOR: The President
FROM: Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity (VIPS)
SUBJECT: War With Iran
INTRODUCTION
In our December 21st Memorandum to you, we cautioned that the claim that Iran is currently the world’s top sponsor of terrorism is unsupported by hard evidence. Meanwhile, other false accusations against Iran have intensified. Thus, we feel obliged to alert you to the virtually inevitable consequences of war with Iran, just as we warned President George W. Bush six weeks before the U.S. attack on Iraq 15 years ago.
In our first Memorandum in this genre we told then-President Bush that we saw “no compelling reason” to attack Iraq, and warned “the unintended consequences are likely to be catastrophic.” The consequences will be far worse, should the U.S. become drawn into war with Iran. We fear that you are not getting the straight story on this from your intelligence and national security officials.
After choosing “War With Iran” for the subject-line of this Memo, we were reminded that we had used it before, namely, for a Memorandum to President Obama on August 3, 2010 in similar circumstances. You may wish to ask your staff to give you that one to read and ponder. It included a startling quote from then-Chairman of President Bush Jr.’s Intelligence Advisory Board (and former national security adviser to Bush Sr.) Gen. Brent Scowcroft, who told the Financial Times on October 14, 2004 that Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon had George W. Bush “mesmerized;” that “Sharon just has him wrapped around his little finger.” We wanted to remind you of that history, as you prepare to host Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu next week.

Rhetoric vs. Reality
We believe that the recent reporting regarding possible conflict with nuclear-armed North Korea has somewhat obscured consideration of the significantly higher probability that Israel or even Saudi Arabia will take steps that will lead to a war with Iran that will inevitably draw the United States in. Israel is particularly inclined to move aggressively, with potentially serious consequences for the U.S., in the wake of the recent incident involving an alleged Iranian drone and the shooting down of an Israeli aircraft.
There is also considerable anti-Iran rhetoric in U.S. media, which might well facilitate a transition from a cold war-type situation to a hot war involving U.S. forces. We have for some time been observing with some concern the growing hostility towards Iran coming out of Washington and from the governments of Israel and Saudi Arabia. National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster is warning that the “time to act is now” to thwart Iran’s aggressive regional ambitions while U.S. United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley sees a “wake-up” call in the recent shooting incident involving Syria and Israel. Particular concern has been expressed by the White House that Iran is exploiting Shi’a minorities in neighboring Sunni dominated states to create unrest and is also expanding its role in neighboring Iraq and Syria.
While we share concerns over the Iranian government’s intentions vis-à-vis its neighbors, we do not believe that the developments in the region, many of which came about through American missteps, have a major impact on vital U.S. national interests. Nor is Iran, which often sees itself as acting defensively against surrounding Sunni states, anything like an existential threat to the United States that would mandate the sustained military action that would inevitably result if Iran is attacked.
Iran’s alleged desire to stitch together a sphere of influence consisting of an arc of allied nations and proxy forces running from its western borders to the Mediterranean Sea has been frequently cited as justification for a more assertive policy against Tehran, but we believe this concern to be greatly exaggerated. Iran, with a population of more than 80 million, is, to be sure, a major regional power but militarily, economically and politically it is highly vulnerable.
Limited Military Capability
Tehran’s Revolutionary Guard is well armed and trained, but much of its “boots on the ground” army consists of militiamen of variable quality. Its Air Force is a “shadow” of what existed under the Shah and is significantly outgunned by its rivals in the Persian Gulf, not to mention Israel. Its navy is only “green water” capable in that it consists largely of smaller vessels responsible for coastal defense supplemented by the swarming of Revolutionary Guard small speedboats.
When Napoleon had conquered much of continental Europe and was contemplating invading Britain it was widely believed that England was helpless before him. British Admiral Earl St Vincent was unperturbed: “I do not say the French can’t come, I only say they can’t come by sea.” We likewise believe that Iran’s apparent threat is in reality decisively limited by its inability to project power across the water or through the air against neighboring states that have marked superiority in both respects.
The concern over a possibly developing “Shi’ite land bridge,” also referred to as an “arc” or “crescent,” is likewise overstated. It ignores the reality that Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon all have strong national identities and religiously mixed populations. They are influenced — some of them strongly — by Iran but they are not puppet states. And there is also an ethnic division that the neighboring states’ populations are very conscious of– they are Arabs and Iran is Persian, which is also true of the Shi’a populations in Saudi Arabia and the Emirates.
Majority Shi’a Iraq, for example, is now very friendly to Iran but it has to deal with considerable Kurdish and Sunni minorities in its governance and in the direction of its foreign policy. It will not do Iran’s bidding on a number of key issues, including Baghdad’s relationship with Washington, and would be unwilling to become a proxy in Tehran’s conflicts with Israel and Saudi Arabia. Iraqi Vice President Osama al-Nujaifi, the highest-ranking Sunni in the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi government, has, for example, recently called for the demobilization of the Shi’ite Popular Mobilization Forces or militias that have been fighting ISIS because they “have their own political aspirations, their own [political] agendas. … They are very dangerous to the future of Iraq.”
Nuclear Weapons Thwarted
A major concern that has undergirded much of the perception of an Iranian threat is the possibility that Tehran will develop a nuclear weapon somewhere down the road. We believe that the current Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, even if imperfect, provides the best response to that Iranian proliferation problem. The U.N. inspections regime is strict and, if the agreement stands, there is every reason to believe that Iran will be unable to take the necessary precursor steps leading to a nuclear weapons program. Iran will be further limited in its options after the agreement expires in nine years. Experts believe that, at that point, Iran its not likely to choose to accumulate the necessary highly enriched uranium stocks to proceed.
The recent incident involving the shoot-down of a drone alleged to be Iranian, followed by the downing of an Israeli fighter by a Syrian air defense missile, resulted in a sharp response from Tel Aviv, though reportedly mitigated by a warning from Russian President Vladimir Putin that anything more provocative might inadvertently involve Russia in the conflict. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is said to have moderated his response but his government is clearly contemplating a more robust intervention to counter what he describes as a developing Iranian presence in Syria.
In addition, Netanyahu may be indicted on corruption charges, and it is conceivable that he might welcome a “small war” to deflect attention from mounting political problems at home.
Getting Snookered Into War
We believe that the mounting Iran hysteria evident in the U.S. media and reflected in Beltway groupthink has largely been generated by Saudi Arabia and Israel, who nurture their own aspirations for regional political and military supremacy. There are no actual American vital interests at stake and it is past time to pause and take a step backwards to consider what those interests actually are in a region that has seen nothing but disaster since 2003. Countering an assumed Iranian threat that is minimal and triggering a war would be catastrophic and would exacerbate instability, likely leading to a breakdown in the current political alignment of the entire Middle East. It would be costly for the United States.
Iran is not militarily formidable, but its ability to fight on the defensive against U.S. naval and air forces is considerable and can cause high casualties. There appears to be a perception in the Defense
Department that Iran could be defeated in a matter of days, but we would warn that such predictions tend to be based on overly optimistic projections, witness the outcomes in Afghanistan and Iraq. In addition, Tehran would be able again to unleash terrorist resources throughout the region, endangering U.S. military and diplomats based there as well as American travelers and businesses. The terrorist threat might easily extend beyond the Middle East into Europe and also the United States, while the dollar costs of a major new conflict and its aftermath could break the bank, literally.
Another major consideration before ratcheting up hostilities should be that a war with Iran might not be containable. As the warning from President Vladimir Putin to Netanyahu made clear, other major powers have interests in what goes on in the Persian Gulf, and there is a real danger that a regional war could have global consequences.
In sum, we see a growing risk that the U.S. will become drawn into hostilities on pretexts fabricated by Israel and Saudi Arabia for their actual common objective (“regime change” in Iran). A confluence of factors and misconceptions about what is at stake and how such a conflict is likely to develop, coming from both inside and outside the Administration have, unfortunately, made such an outcome increasingly likely.
We have seen this picture before, just 15 years ago in Iraq, which should serve as a warning. The prevailing perception of threat that the Mullahs of Iran allegedly pose directly against the security of the U.S. is largely contrived. Even if all the allegations were true, they would not justify an Iraq-style “preventive war” violating national as well as international law. An ill-considered U.S. intervention in Iran is surely not worth the horrific humanitarian, military, economic, and political cost to be paid if Washington allows itself to become part of an armed attack.

De Trump administratie wil hoe dan ook de ‘Iran nuclear deal’ de nek omdraaien en eist van de andere deelnemers, vooral die in de EU dezelfde houding, zonder dat deze administratie daar over wil discussiëren……….

De VS wil ‘opnieuw onderhandelen’ over deze overeenkomst met Iran, met daarin bepalingen waarvan men weet dat Iran hier niet mee akkoord kan en zal gaan…….
‘Uiteraard’ komt de Trump administratie met het versleten cliché over de Iraanse ongebreidelde agressie….. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Een gevalletje de pot verwijt een piepklein keteltje dat het zwart ziet, waarbij opgemerkt moet worden dat de VS kleurenblind is (behalve als het om de repressie tegen de gekleurde bevolking in de VS gaat)……..
Als er een ‘land’ is dat ongebreidelde agressie gebruikt, is het de VS wel! Alleen deze eeuw al 4 illegale oorlogen en de regie over een paar (illegale) oorlogen in Afrika……. Dit nog buiten de door Washington op poten gezette opstanden die tot een coup hebben geleid en als dit niet lukte alsnog uitmonden in een (illegale) oorlog, zoals in Syrië, waar de VS al vanaf 2006 bezig was met het opzetten van een opstand (die tot een coup moest leiden)……
Kortom de Trump administratie is bezig met de voorbereiding op een oorlog tegen Iran (waarvoor de nucleaire leugen tegen Iran overigens maar één van de ‘redenen’ is…..)…. Het is maar zeer de vraag of Rusland en China zich afzijdig zullen houden, mocht de VS een illegale oorlog tegen Iran beginnen….. Als dit niet het geval zal zijn, is een in volle omvang uitbarsten van WOIII bijzonder dichtbij……
Hoe is het mogelijk dat men in het westen in de 60er, 70er en 80er jaren massaal in opstand kwam tegen de terreur van de VS, waar ook toen een nucleaire oorlog meermaals in de lucht hing, waar men nu doodstil is en de VS haar gang laat gaan…??? Terwijl het gevaar op een nucleaire oorlog nu veel groter is dan destijds, immers de VS (en Groot-Brittannië) spreken nu openlijk over het inzetten van nucleaire wapens bij een militair conflict, sterker nog: de Trump administratie dreigt zelfs met nucleaire vergelding als ‘een land’ (Rusland, China en Noord-Korea) mocht beslissen een ‘cyberaanval’ te beginnen tegen de VS……. ‘Cyberaanvallen’ zoals de zogenaamde manipulatie van de VS presidentsverkiezingen, waarvoor tot op heden geen enkel steekhoudend bewijs is geleverd, maar waar wel een enorm aantal bewijzen liggen voor dit soort van handelingen door de VS zelf in andere landen!!
Washington Delivers New Ultimatum On Iran

February 21, 2018 “Information Clearing House” – The US State Department has issued a fresh ultimatum on the Iran nuclear deal to Washington’s ostensible major allies in Europe, demanding that Germany, Britain and France commit themselves to altering the agreement along the lines demanded by President Donald Trump or face its unilateral abrogation by the US.

 A secret State Department cable obtained by Reuters presents what are essentially the same demands made by Trump last January. At that time, he announced that he was prepared to relaunch all-out US economic warfare against Iran unless the European powers joined Washington in imposing a rewritten nuclear accord on Tehran, including provisions that the Iranian government cannot and will not accept.

 The occasion for Trump’s threat was his reluctant announcement on January 12 that he had decided to waive the reimposition of US sanctions that were lifted as part of the nuclear agreement, formally known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). He vowed that this would be the last time he issued such a waiver, unless his conditions were met. The next deadline for waiving the sanctions is May 12.

 The message from the State Department to the European powers asks for their “commitment that we should work together to seek a supplemental or follow-on agreement that addresses Iran’s development or testing long-range missiles, ensures strong IAEA inspections, and fixes the flaws of the ‘sunset clause.’”

 Washington has demanded that Iran grant International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors immediate and unlimited access to any site in the country, including military bases; the elimination of “sunset clauses” in the JCPOA, making time-limited restrictions on aspects of Iran’s civil nuclear program permanent; and drastically limiting, if not outlawing, Iran’s ballistic missile program.

 While presented by Reuters and other media as a softening of the position outlined by Trump in January, the cable makes it clear that the US is continuing to present its nominal allies in Europe with an ultimatum.

 “In the absence of a clear commitment from your side to address these issues, the United States will not again waive sanctions in order to stay in the Iran nuclear deal. If at any time the President judges that such commitment is not within reach, the President indicated he would end US participation in the deal.”

 The cable’s “talking points” for US diplomats to advance Washington’s agenda in Europe stress “the Trump administration’s strategy to counter the Iranian regime’s reckless aggression,” which “addresses the full range of Iranian threats, of which Iran’s nuclear program is only one element.”

 The clear implication is that Washington is embarked on a trajectory of war with Iran, either with or without the collaboration of its NATO allies in Berlin, London and Paris. Should they join with the US in ripping up the nuclear accord, it will set them on a collision course not only with Iran, but also with Russia and China, the two other signatories to the JCPOA.

 The US has spelled out its own intentions in the Trump administration’s recent National Security Strategy, lumping Iran together with North Korea under the category of “rogue states” that represent a threat to US “national interests” and are to be confronted and defeated.

 None of the European powers responded directly to the US cable, which the State Department itself refused to discuss. Asked about the US demands in an online media briefing, the French Foreign Ministry declared: “The French position on the Iran nuclear deal is known. As the President of the Republic [Emmanuel Macron] has said, we reaffirm our full attachment to the global action plan and its strict implementation.” It added that Paris would “continue to talk about the Iran nuclear program with our European and American partners.”

 The European powers are pursuing their own imperialist interests in the Middle East and are increasingly at odds with US interests and strategies. The lifting of sanctions against Iran was greeted by European corporations as an opportunity to generate a fresh stream of profits through billions of dollars in new investments and trade deals. Many of these plans remain unfulfilled because of concerns that the US will target companies with unilateral sanctions, and that their investments could go up in smoke in the event of a new and catastrophic US war in the Middle East.

 While hostile to Iran’s growing influence in the region, the European powers are increasingly alarmed at the prospect that Washington’s strategy of forging a regional anti-Iranian alliance with Israel and Saudi Arabia, together with the other Sunni Gulf oil sheikdoms, will produce a military confrontation that could cut off oil supplies upon which Europe depends and unleash a political and refugee crisis that will spill onto the continent.

 Washington has issued its latest ultimatum in the midst of an explosive escalation of regional tensions, driven in the main by US and Israeli aggression. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spelled out Tel Aviv’s aggressive stance against Iran in a bellicose speech to the Munich Security Conference on Sunday. Holding up what he claimed was a piece of an Iranian drone shot down over Israeli-occupied Syrian territory in the Golan Heights, he denounced Iran as “the greatest threat to the world,” equating it with Nazi Germany.

 “We will act without hesitation to defend ourselves, and we will act if necessary not just against Iran’s proxies that are attacking us, but against Iran itself,” said Netanyahu, in a clear threat to attack Iran, an action that his government would undertake only with US backing.

Israel responded to the alleged overflight of the drone, which Tehran insists was launched by independent Syrian militia elements in Syria, by targeting Iranian personnel in Syria with air strikes. Syrian air defense units succeeded in shooting down an Israeli F-16 fighter jet, the first such loss for the Israeli Air Force since the early 1980s.

 Speaking in response to Netanyahu at the Munich conference, Mohammad Javad Zarif, the Iranian foreign minister, attributed the frenzied tone of Netanyahu’s speech to the downing of the warplane. “The so-called invincibility of [Israel] has crumbled,” he said.

 The US military and intelligence apparatus and its loyal stenographers in the US corporate media are churning out continuous war propaganda against Iran.

 Speaking at the Munich Security Conference on Saturday, US national security advisor Gen. H.R. McMaster declared it was necessary to “act against Iran,” which he accused of arming a “network of proxies” that is “becoming more and more capable as Iran seeds more and more…destructive weapons into these networks.”

 The New York Times published a lengthy piece Monday based on interviews with Israeli military officers and government officials along with representatives of US, Israeli and Saudi-funded think tanks alleging that Iran is “creating an infrastructure [in Syria] to threaten Israel.” Needless to say, the article made no mention of Israel’s own funding and aid for Sunni Islamist militias attacking the Syrian government of President Bashar al-Assad.

 The same issue of the Times carried an opinion piece by US ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley claiming, falsely, that a report issued by the United Nations proved that Iran has shipped missiles to the Houthi rebels in Yemen to fire at Saudi Arabia. The actual report found that “remnants” of the missiles were of Iranian origin, while providing no evidence as to how they got there.

 Haley insists that the world must “act before a missile hits a school or a hospital and leads to a dangerous military escalation that provokes a Saudi military response.”

 The column echoes the “big lie” methods pioneered by Nazi Minister of Propaganda Joseph Goebbels.

That Saudi Arabia has been bombing Yemeni schools, hospitals, neighborhoods and infrastructure for nearly three years, killing some 13,000 Yemeni civilians and plunging the country’s population into the worst humanitarian crisis on the planet, goes unmentioned.

 Haley is also silent on the fact that the US has provided the vast majority of the bombs and missiles dropped on the Yemeni people, while mounting logistical and refueling operations that make the mass slaughter possible.

Rusland heeft geen aanval uitgevoerd op VS troepen in Syrië…..

Op 7 februari jl. zouden Syrische troepen, gesteund door Russische adviseurs en huurlingen een basis van de Syrische democratische strijdmacht (SDF, of Syrian Democratic Forces) hebben aangevallen. Het gaat hier om ‘een door de VS gesteunde basis’ waar zich ook VS militairen dan wel adviseurs zouden hebben opgehouden of (nog) ophouden. Met hulp van VS luchtstrijdkrachten werd de aanval afgeslagen……

Vreemd genoeg vielen aan de kant van de aanvallers meer dan 100 strijders, voornamelijk Russen en viel er aan de kant van de door de VS gesteunde strijders (SDF is een terreurorganisatie) en VS militairen niet één slachtoffer, iets dat totaal ongeloofwaardig is.

Darius Shahtahmasebi stelt na ophef in de VS, waar Rusland wordt beschuldigt van het willens en wetens aanvallen van VS militairen, dat Rusland niet van de partij was bij de aanval, daar het hier ging om huurlingen en ‘militaire aannemers’.

Voorts stelt Shahtahmasebi terecht dat Rusland nog steeds op volkomen legitieme basis aanwezig is in Syrië, dit in tegenstelling tot de VS. Daarnaast is het uiteraard een normale zaak dat het reguliere Syrische leger, illegaal bezet Syrisch gebied wil heroveren, zo stelt ook Shahtahmasebi.

Rusland heeft intussen contracten gesloten met de Syrische overheid over de winning van gas en olie, ook in het gebied waar de aanval plaats vond……….. Gezien dat feit zou het niet vreemd zijn te veronderstellen, dat de VS als een bok op de haverkist het gebied koste wat kost wil behouden ‘voor de SDF’ (ofwel voor zichzelf) en daarbij alle ‘vijanden’ zal afslachten, die maar in de buurt durven te komen van dit gebied…….

Eerder in 2017 heeft de VS zich ook al geroerd met aanvallen in dit gebied, toen hielp de VS de SDF met het veroveren van dit gebied en ‘om deze positie te verdedigen’ blijft de VS illegaal gestationeerd in dit gebied….. Lees: de VS blijft aanwezig om olie en gas belangen van oliemaatschappijen in de VS te verdedigen…..

Shahtahmasebi stelt voorts dat wanneer Rusland een olierijk gebied in de VS illegaal zou bezetten en VS troepen zouden zich daartegen verzetten, niemand zou zeggen dat de Russen worden aangevallen (daar zij zich immers illegaal op het gebied van de VS zouden bevinden). Beetje vreemde redenering, daar een aanval nu eenmaal een aanval is, in wat voor omstandigheid dan ook, je spreekt in die gevallen van wel of niet gerechtvaardigd geweld en ja dan kan je ook spreken van (grootschalige) terreur als dit geweld niet gerechtvaardigd is, terreur waar de VS zich keer op keer schuldig aan maakt in Syrië, zoals ook weer in dit geval……

Dat de VS niets te zoeken heeft in Syrië is een feit, zeker als je ziet, dat de VS aan de wieg stond van IS, deze terreurgroep heeft vervoerd en vrije doorgang heeft verleend richting Syrië, waar de VS deze psychopaten ook nog eens deels heeft bewapend, terwijl de VS tegelijkertijd zogenaamd IS bestrijdt en ‘waarvoor de VS het nodig acht in Syrië te blijven……’ (zoals eerder gezegd: dit is vooral in het belang van de oliemaatschappijen in de VS…)

Jammer dat Shahtahmasebi daar geen aandacht aan besteed, zoals hij ook al niets zegt over het ontbreken van slachtoffers aan ‘VS zijde’, bij de hiervoor genoemde aanval..

In één ding heeft hij volkomen gelijk: Rusland heeft geen aanval geopend op de VS militairen. Alle acties van de VS tegen het reguliere Syrische leger en/of de Russen, zijn oorlogsmisdaden en daarmee grootschalige terreur! Je weet wel het soort terreur waar de westerse reguliere media en het grootste deel van de westerse politici zich niet druk om maken, dit gebeurd pas als VS terreur elders terreur uitlokt, zoals wraakacties in de straten van de EU……

Don’t Be a Moron: Russia Didn’t Attack US Troops in Syria

(ANTIMEDIA Op-ed) — On February 16, 2018, Bloomberg’s Eli Lake published an article entitled “Don’t Be Fooled: Russia Attacked U.S. Troops in Syria.”
For context, the U.S.-led coalition conducted air and artillery strikes against what was believed to be pro-government forces in Syria on February 7, 2018, in response to an “unprovoked attack” launched by these pro-regime forces. Not long after, reports began emerging that significant numbers of Russian personnel were included in the over 100 dead and wounded, though Russia denied this at first. As the evidence began to mount, the accepted version of events on both sides was that those involved were Russian mercenaries and contractors, not official troops.
When asked about the incident initially, U.S. Secretary of Defense James Mattis said he had “no idea why they [pro-government forces] would attack there, the forces were known to be there, obviously the Russians knew.”
“We have always known that there are elements in this very complex battle space that the Russians did not have, I would call it, control of,” he added.
In response to this conundrum, Lake wrote:
“Now, it should be said that Mattis, a retired four-star Marine Corps general, is a very smart man. His perplexity in this case is probably what Plato called a ‘noble lie,’ a falsehood spoken by a leader to achieve a greater social good. If Mattis acknowledges the obvious — that the Kremlin authorized a direct assault on a U.S.-sponsored base by non-uniformed personnel — he risks an escalation spiral in Syria. Better to express bewilderment and give Russian President Vladimir Putin a chance to back down and deny culpability, which he ended up doing despite the heavy casualties suffered by his mercenaries.”
Lake added:
“But make no mistake: There is overwhelming evidence that those Russian contractors were working at the behest of the Kremlin. What’s more, the Russians knew U.S. military personnel were in Deir Ezzor, which has been part of successive agreements to separate, or ‘deconflict,’ forces fighting in Syria.”
First, if the Kremlin did actually give the go-ahead for the advancement of troops in that particular area, it is already quite apparent that the aim of the pro-government troops in question, including their Russian component, was to try to seize a lucrative Syrian oil field in the vicinity. CBS reported that according to Pentagon officials, the Russians did, indeed, have their sights on these oil fields. CNN also reported this before it was made aware that the Syrian troops involved Russian contractors.
Russia was recently granted exclusive rights over Syria’s oil and gas production, and Deir Ez-zor is Syria’s most oil-rich region. So, with regard to the perplexity as to why Syrian and/or Russian personnel would launch an offensive, the reasoning is already well-known. The U.S. provided air cover for Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) to retain a substantial portion of this area in 2017 and retains its military presence there in order to enable SDF’s occupation to continue.
Second, and most important, if Syrian forces, backed by Russian forces (whether they are official troops or not), decide to launch an offensive to retake one of its oil fields, it is not the U.S. that is under the attack. The U.S. is an invading force that has been bombing Syria since 2014 without legal justification and continues to maintain an illegal military presence in order to carry out its dangerous foreign policy agenda. It wouldn’t matter if the U.S. had one troop on the ground in Syria and if Russia had ten thousand — Russia’s presence has been sanctioned under international law and America’s hasn’t.
Yes, Russia knew U.S. personnel were in Deir Ez-zor. But that doesn’t mean Russia and Syria should be barred from reclaiming the territory under international law. If Russia had set up an illegal base in an oil-rich part of the U.S. and American troops launched an offensive with their allies to retake the territory, no one in their right mind would try to suggest that Russian troops were subsequently under attack. In fact, if this particular scenario were to play out, the NATO charter would require all of America’s NATO allies to come to its aid against this hypothetical Russian aggression.
It doesn’t matter what one thinks of the Syrian government and the various allegations against it. Even for the sake of argument, we should assume that all of the allegations against Bashar al-Assad are true. It doesn’t make a difference.
The U.S. has attacked Syria, and it could be the case that Syria and its allies want to drive them out, as is their right. That’s the only way to properly view this issue if we want to maintain a workable system of international mutual respect and cooperation. Right now, there only appears to be one flawed system: the U.S. and its allies doing whatever they like until they are eventually confronted by a formidable adversary that possesses nuclear weapons.

Venezuela: VS verandering van regime mislukt >> de Venezolanen wacht een VS invasie

Na alle moeite die de VS zich al 20 jaar getroost om een eind te maken aan het democratisch gekozen socialistisch bewind van Venezuela, wijst alles erop dat de VS bezig is met Peru, Colombia en Brazilië, van wie de laatste twee landen grenzen aan Venezuela, een invasie voor te bereiden in dat land……..

Er hebben in 2017 al vier grote militaire oefeningen plaats gevonden in Latijns Amerika en zelfs de NAVO schijnt nu een militaire basis te hebben in Brazilië, waarschijnlijk dezelfde als de ‘tijdelijke’ militaire VS basis in Brazilië, in de buurt waar Venezuela, Brazilië en Colombia aan elkaar grenzen…… Zoals gezegd: vorig jaar hebben er maar liefst 4 grote militaire oefeningen plaatsgevonden, met deelname van Colombia, Brazilië en Peru, alles o.l.v. de VS….. Eén van die oefeningen, ‘Operation: America United’ was zelfs de grootste militaire oefening ooit gehouden in Midden- en Zuid-Amerika (Latijns Amerika)………

 Overigens heeft de VS al militaire bases in Colombia en het Caraïbisch gebied, onderhoudt daarnaast innige banden met andere landen in de buurt van Venezuela, wat dat betreft is Venezuela al omsingeld met VS militaire bases (uiteraard speelt ook Nederland weer ‘een mooie rol’ in deze…)
De VS is al meer dan 18 jaar bezig met een economische oorlog tegen Venezuela, al heeft deze tot nu toe weinig of niets opgeleverd wat betreft ‘regime change’. Al onder ‘vredesduif’ Obama heeft de VS deze oorlog verscherpt en VS bedrijven ‘dringend aangeraden’ hun supermarktketens in Venezuela niet langer te bevoorraden. Hetzelfde deed de VS met buitenlandse investeerders en je weet het waarschijnlijk wel, als de VS dreigt, gehoorzamen de bedrijven en instellingen, daar ze het anders wel kunnen vergeten als bedrijf of instelling……..

 Als gevolg van deze boycot is er niet alleen een groot tekort aan levensmiddelen, maar bijvoorbeeld ook aan medicijnen. Daarmee kan de VS ten overvloede nog eens worden aangewezen als een terreurstaat, die schijt heeft aan ellende onder de gewone bevolking en aan mensenrechten, zoals dit gestolen land al zo vaak elders heeft laten zien, maar zeker in Zuid- en Midden-Amerika…….

(CN) — Several signals point to a possible military strike on Venezuela, with high-ranking officials and influential politicians making clear that it is a distinct possibility.
Speaking at his alma mater, the University of Texas, on February 1, Secretary of State Tillerson suggested a potential military coup in in the country. Tillerson then visited allied Latin American countries urging regime change and more economic sanctions on Venezuela. Tillerson is also reportedly considering banning the processing or sale of Venezuelan oil in the United States and is discouraging other countries from buying Venezuelan oil.
In a series of tweets, Senator Marco Rubio, the Republican from Florida, where many Venezuelan oligarchs live, openly called for a military coup in Venezuela. “The world would support the Armed Forces in #Venezuela if they decide to protect the people & restore democracy by removing a dictator,” the former presidential candidate tweeted.
How absurd — remove an elected president with a military coup to restore democracy? Does that pass the straight face test? This refrain of Rubio and Tillerson seems to be the nonsensical public position of U.S. policy.
The U.S. has been seeking regime change in Venezuela since Hugo Chavez was elected in 1998. Trump joined Presidents Obama and Bush before him in continuing efforts to change the government and put in place a U.S.-friendly oligarch government.
They came closest in 2002 when a military coup removed Chavez. The Commander-in-Chief of the Venezuelan military announced Chavez had resigned and Pedro Carmona, of the Venezuelan Chamber of Commerce, became interim president. Carmona dissolved the National Assembly and Supreme Court and declared the Constitution void. The people surrounded the presidential palace and seized television stations, Carmona resigned and fled to Colombia. Within 47 hours, civilians and the military restored Chavez to the presidency. The coup was a turning point that strengthened the Bolivarian Revolution, showed people could defeat a coup and exposed the US and oligarchs.
U.S. Regime Change Tactics Have Failed In Venezuela
The U.S. and oligarchs continue their efforts to reverse the Bolivarian Revolution. The United States has a long history of regime change around the world and has tried all of its regime change tools in Venezuela. So far they have failed.
Economic War
Destroying the Venezuelan economy has been an ongoing campaign by the US and oligarchs. It is reminiscent of the US coup in Chile which ended the presidency of Salvador Allende. To create the environment for the Chilean coup, President Nixon ordered the CIA to “make the economy scream.”
Henry Kissinger devised the coup noting a billion dollars of investment were at stake. He also feared the “the insidious model effect” of the example of Chile leading to other countries breaking from the United States and capitalism. Kissinger’s top deputy at the National Security Council, Viron Vaky, opposed the coup saying, “What we propose is patently a violation of our own principles and policy tenets .… If these principles have any meaning, we normally depart from them only to meet the gravest threat … our survival.”
These objections hold true regarding recent US coups, including in Venezuela and Honduras, Ukraine and Brazil, among others. Allende died in the coup and wrote his last words to the people of Chile, especially the workers, “Long live the people! Long live the workers!” He was replaced by Augusto Pinochet, a brutal and violent dictator.
For decades the US has been fighting an economic war, “making the economy scream,” in Venezuela.
Wealthy Venezuelans have been conducting economic sabotage aided by the US with sanctions and other tactics. This includes hoarding food, supplies and other necessities in warehouses or in Colombia while Venezuelan markets are bare. The scarcity is used to fuel protests, e.g. “The March of the Empty Pots,” a carbon copy of marches in Chile before the September 11, 1973 coup. Economic warfare has escalated through Obama and under Trump, with Tillerson now urging economic sanctions on oil.
President Maduro recognized the economic hardship but also said sanctions open up the opportunity for a new era of independence and “begins the stage of post-domination by the United States, with Venezuela again at the center of this struggle for dignity and liberation.” The second-in-command of the Socialist Party, Diosdado Cabello, said, “[if they] apply sanctions, we will apply elections.”
Opposition Protests
Another common US regime change tool is supporting opposition protests. The Trump administration renewed regime change operations in Venezuela and the anti-Maduro protests, which began under Obama, grew more violent. The opposition protests included barricades, snipers and murders as well as widespread injuries. When police arrested those using violence, the US claimed Venezuela opposed free speech and protests.
The opposition tried to use the crack down against violence to achieve the U.S. tactic of dividing the military. The U.S. and western media ignored opposition violence and blamed the Venezuelan government instead. Violence became so extreme it looked like the opposition was pushing Venezuela into a Syrian-type civil war. Instead, opposition violence backfired on them.
Violent protests are part of U.S. regime change repertoire. This was demonstrated in the U.S. coup in Ukraine, where the U.S. spent $5 billion to organize government opposition including U.S. and EU funding violent protesters. This tactic was used in early US coups like the 1953 Iran coup of Prime Minister Mossadegh. The U.S. has admitted organizing this coup that ended Iran’s brief experience with democracy. Like Venezuela, a key reason for the Iran coup was control of the nation’s oil.
Funding Opposition
There has been massive U.S. investment in creating opposition to the Venezuelan government. Tens of millions of dollars have been openly spent through USAID, the National Endowment for Democracy and other related US regime change agencies. It is unknown how much the CIA has spent from its secret budget, but the CIA has also been involved in Venezuela. Current CIA director, Mike Pompeo, said he is “hopeful there can be a transition in Venezuela.”
The United States has also educated leaders of opposition movements, e.g. Leopoldo López was educated at private schools in the US, including the CIA-associated Kenyon College. He was groomed at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and made repeated visits to the regime change agency, the National Republican Institute.
Elections
While the US calls Venezuela a dictatorship, it is in fact a strong democracy with an excellent voting system. Election observers monitor every election.
In 2016, the economic crisis led to the opposition winning a majority in the National Assembly. One of their first acts was to pass an amnesty law. The law described 17 years of crimes including violent felonies and terrorism committed by the opposition. It was an admission of crimes back to the 2002 coup and through 2016. The law demonstrated violent treason against Venezuela. One month later, the Supreme Court of Venezuela ruled the amnesty law was unconstitutional. U.S. media, regime change advocates and anti-Venezuela human rights groups attacked the Supreme Court decision, showing their alliance with the admitted criminals.
Years of violent protests and regime change attempts, and then admitting their crimes in an amnesty bill, have caused those opposed to the Bolivarian Revolution to lose power and become unpopular. In three recent elections Maduro’s party won regional, local and the Constituent Assembly elections.
The electoral commission announced the presidential election will be held on April 22. Maduro will run for re-election with the United Socialist Party. Opposition leaders such as Henry Ramos and Henri Falcon have expressed interest in running, but the opposition has not decided whether to participate. Henrique Capriles, who narrowly lost to Maduro in the last election, was banned from running for office because of irregularities in his campaign, including taking foreign donations. Capriles has been a leader of the violent protests. When his ban was announced he called for protests to remove Maduro from office. Also banned was Leopoldo Lopez, another leader of the violent protests who is under house arrest serving a thirteen year sentence for inciting violence.
Now, the United States says it will not recognize the presidential election and urges a military coup. For two years, the opposition demanded presidential elections, but now it is unclear whether they will participate. They know they are unpopular and Maduro is likely to be re-elected.
Is War Against Venezuela Coming?
A military coup faces challenges in Venezuela as the people, including the military, are well educated about US imperialism. Tillerson openly urging a military coup makes it more difficult.
The government and opposition recently negotiated a peace settlement entitled “Democratic Coexistence Agreement for Venezuela.” They agreed on all of the issues including ending economic sanctions, scheduling elections and more. They agreed on the date of the next presidential election. It was originally planned for March, but in a concession to the opposition, it was rescheduled for the end of April. Maduro signed the agreement even though the opposition did not attend the signing ceremony. They backed out after Colombian President Santos, who was meeting with Secretary Tillerson, called and told them not to sign. Maduro will now make the agreement a public issue by allowing the people of Venezuela to sign it.
Not recognizing elections and urging a military coup are bad enough, but more disconcerting is that Admiral Kurt Tidd, head of Southcom, held a closed door meeting in Colombia after Tillerson’s visit. The topic was “regional destabilization” and Venezuela was a focus.
A military attack on Venezuela from its Colombian and Brazilian borders is not far fetched. In January, the NY Times asked, “Should the US military invade Venezuela?” President Trump said the US is considering US military force against Venezuela. His chief of staff, John Kelly, was formerly the general in charge of Southcom. Tidd has claimed the crisis, created in large part by the economic war against Venezuela, requires military action for humanitarian reasons.
War preparations are already underway in Colombia, which plays the role of Israel for the US in Latin America. The coup government in Brazil, increased its military budget 36 percent, and participated in Operation: America United, the largest joint military exercise in Latin American history. It was one of four military exercises by the US with Brazil, Colombia and Peru in Latin America in 2017. The US Congress ordered the Pentagon to develop military contingencies for Venezuela in the 2017 National Defense Authorization Act.
While there is opposition to US military bases, James Patrick Jordan explains, on our radio show, the US has military bases in Colombia and the Caribbean and military agreements with countries in the region; and therefore, Venezuela is already surrounded.
The United States is targeting Venezuela because the Bolivarian Revolution provides an example against U.S. imperialism. An invasion of Venezuela will become another war-quagmire that kills innocent Venezuelans, U.S. soldiers and others over control of oil. People in the United States who support the self-determination of countries should show solidarity with Venezuelans, expose the U.S. agenda and publicly denounce regime change. We need to educate people about what is really happening in Venezuela to overcome the false media coverage.

Eindelijk heeft de VS aangegeven dat het Syrische bewind geen gifgaswapens heeft gebruikt tegen de Syrische bevolking…… Oké, dit was al lang bekend, maar lullig genoeg werd en wordt deze leugen keer op keer herhaald door de reguliere westerse massamedia en het grootste deel van de westerse politici….. Dit geeft ten overvloede nog eens aan dat deze media en politici zich maar al te graag bedienen van ‘fake nieuws……’ (of: ‘nepnieuws, wat je wilt)

Benieuwd hoe lang men deze leugen nog langer in de lucht zal houden, nadat de VS minister van buitenlandse zaken, James ‘mad dog’ Mattis toegaf dat de VS regering totaal geen bewijs heeft dat Assad aanvallen heeft gepleegd met gifgas……. Ach, de grote gifgasaanval uit 2013 in Syrië wordt nog steeds toegeschreven aan Assad, terwijl na VN onderzoek o.l.v. Del Ponte bleek dat het gifgas van de ‘gematigde rebellen kwam…. ‘Gematigde rebellen’, zoals men in het westen de anti-Assad terreurgroepen noemt, groepen die zich naast het gebruik van gifgas schuldig maken aan het in het openbaar executeren van vermeende tegenstanders, verkrachting en marteling………

The US Now Admits There Is No Evidence Assad Used Sarin Gas in Syria

(TIM) — U.S. Secretary of Defense James Mattis confirmed that the U.S. government has no evidence that the Syrian government used sarin gas on its people— a claim that was used by the White House as justification for an April 2017 launch of 59 Tomahawk cruise missiles at the Al Shayrat airfield in Syria.
On Friday, Mattis said that reports of chemical weapon use by the Syrian government have come from aid groups and others, but that the U.S. doesn’t have any evidence to support these assertions.
“We have other reports from the battlefield from people who claim it’s been used,” Mattis told reporters at the Pentagon. “We do not have evidence of it.”
“We’re looking for evidence of it, since clearly we are dealing with the Assad regime that has used denial and deceit to hide their outlaw actions,” Mattis continued. “We’re even more concerned about the possibility of sarin use.”
Mattis explained that he was not refuting the third-party reports of chemical weapons used by the Syrian government led by President Bashar Assad. Assad has steadfastly denied that his government has used chemical weapons throughout the conflict.
In 2013, UN investigator Carla Del Ponte made note that Syrian rebels, not the Assad regime, used chemical weapons in the two-year civil war, contrary to assessments made by American officials.
According to a report by The Times of Israel:

“Carla Del Ponte, head of the independent UN commission investigating reports of chemical weapons use in Syria, told a Swiss-Italian television station that UN investigators gleaned testimony from victims of Syria’s civil war and medical staff which indicated that rebel forces used sarin gas — a deadly nerve agent.

‘Our investigators have been in neighboring countries interviewing victims, doctors and field hospitals and, according to their report of last week which I have seen, there are strong, concrete suspicions but not yet incontrovertible proof of the use of sarin gas, from the way the victims were treated,’ Del Ponte said in the interview, translated by Reuters.

‘This was use on the part of the opposition, the rebels, not by the government authorities,’ she added.”

During his comments on Friday, Mattis referred to the April 2017 cruise missile strikes on a Syrian airbase, noting that the Syrian government would “be ill-advised to go back to violating” the chemical weapons prohibition.
In addition to the UN investigation, one of the foremost academic experts in the field of missile fired chemical weapons, Theodore Postol, Professor of Science, Technology and National Security Policy at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), came forward in a series of reports to note his opposition to the official Trump administration’s narrative in regards to the Khan Sheikhoun nerve agent attack in Syria, blamed on the Assad government, which precipitated the cruise missile strikes by the U.S., according to a report in the International Business Times. According to Postol, the Syrian gas attack was not carried out by the Syrian government.
In one of his reports, Postol concluded that the US government’s report does not provide any “concrete” evidence that Assad was responsible, adding it was more likely that the attack was perpetrated by players on the ground.
Postol wrote in his report:

“I have reviewed the [White House’s] document carefully, and I believe it can be shown, without doubt, that the document does not provide any evidence whatsoever that the US government has concrete knowledge that the government of Syria was the source of the chemical attack in Khan Sheikhoun, Syria at roughly 6am to 7am on 4 April, 2017.

In fact, a main piece of evidence that is cited in the document point to an attack that was executed by individuals on the ground, not from an aircraft, on the morning of 4 April.

This conclusion is based on an assumption made by the White House when it cited the source of the sarin release and the photographs of that source. My own assessment is that the source was very likely tampered with or staged, so no serious conclusion could be made from the photographs cited by the White House.”

Postol noted that he has “unambiguous evidence that the White House Intelligence Report (WHR) of April 11, 2017 contains false and misleading claims that could not possibly have been accepted in any professional review by impartial intelligence experts.”
Postol called for an independent investigation into the decision to launch cruise missile strikes in Syria, concluding:

“It is now obvious that this incident produced by the WHR, while just as serious in terms of the dangers it created for US security, was a clumsy and outright fabrication of a report that was certainly not supported by the intelligence community.

In this case, the president, supported by his staff, made a decision to launch 59 cruise missiles at a Syrian air base. This action was accompanied by serious risks of creating a confrontation with Russia, and also undermining cooperative efforts to win the war against the Islamic State.”

Zijlstra terecht afgetreden wegens anti-Russische propaganda, nu Rutte nog……..

Terecht is de enorme VVD (partij van misdadigers) fantast en leugenaar Zijlstra afgetreden.

Ongelofelijk dat Rutte en de anderen uit zijn afbraakkabinet Rutte 3, die opperhufter Zijlstra steunden, niet zijn afgetreden……. Sterker nog zij bleven en blijven Zijlstra steunen……

Men is bang dat Nederland internationaal een pleefiguur slaat, daar hoeft men niet meer ban voor te zijn, het is een feit! Vanmorgen durfde het defecte BNR kompas voor de wereldpolitiek (‘en Trump’), oliebol Hammelburg in zijn column op die zender te zeggen, dat het heel erg meevalt met de schade voor de Nederlandse buitenlandpolitiek. Hij stelde alle nieuwssites en kranten (uiteraard alleen de reguliere nepnieuws brengende massamedia) van over de wereld gelezen te hebben (schier onmogelijk, ‘maar goed…’) en had op een paar kleine berichtjes in de marge geen negatief commentaar gelezen……


Jammer Halbe dat we niet zijn weggekomen met jouw geweldige verhaal…..

Echter bijvoorbeeld BBC World Service radio en WDR hebben wel degelijk deze ongelofelijke zaak van een liegende minister besproken (en bericht over de andere kabinetsleden die hem blijven steunen)….. Moet je nagaan: BBC World Service brengt het liefst 24 uur per dag negatief nieuws over Rusland en dan m.n. over Putin, dit gebaseerd op leugens en toch heeft ook deze zendgemachtigde kritiek op Zijlstra en de Nederlandse regering….. Waar aan toegevoegd moet worden dat Nederland niet als belangrijk wordt gezien door de internationale massamedia en politiek, zoals men hier maar al te vaak wel gelooft…….

Als Nederland zich nog enigszins geloofwaardig wil maken, zou Rutte 3 in het geheel moeten aftreden, zeker Rutte zelf zou de eer aan Nederland moeten laten en moeten aftreden. Immers deze onzelfstandige plork wist 14 dagen geleden ‘al’ over deze zaak (een zaak die bijna 12 jaar lang in de lucht werd gehouden door zijn partijcollega en grote vriend Zijlstra…)……. Bijna ongelofelijk dat Rutte niet al veel eerder van deze leugen op de hoogte was, zeker gezien zijn vriendschap met Zijlstra…..

Rutte had naast de Kamer direct informeren, Zijlstra moeten dwingen de waarheid te vertellen, niet alleen over de leugen, maar ook het in de mond leggen van leugens bij van der Veer, destijds Shell opperhoofd……… De leugen die Zijlstra nog eens verder uitbouwde doordat hij afgelopen maandag stelde dat zijn anonieme bron, die hij met zijn leugen zogenaamd wilde beschermen, e.e.a. nogmaals bevestigd zou hebben……. Alleen dat feit al, geeft ten overvloede nog eens aan dat Rutte een waardeloos premier is en zou moeten opstappen……

De vriendschap tussen Rutte en Zijlstra. plus het voorzitterschap van de VVD van die laatste, hebben de bij de VVD aanwezige anti-Russische houding, vooral gebaseerd op de leugen van Zijlstra. Dit geldt tevens voor het grootste deel van de reguliere Nederlandse media en ‘Rusland- dan wel buitenlanddeskundigen’, zij hebben het praatje van Zijlstra al meer dan 10 jaar in de propaganda kop, waarmee men Rusland beschuldigde van agressieve expansiedrift……. Onbegrijpelijk dat men dit heeft kunnen volhouden, terwijl men geen commentaar duldt op de expansiedrift van de VS (plus de illegale oorlogen en staatsgrepen die dit ‘land’ pleegt tegen democratisch gekozen regeringen)…. Dezelfde VS die wordt neergezet als ‘onze grote vriend*, een ‘vriend’ die zich feitelijk bezighoudt met expansiedrift, zo heeft dit gestolen land maar liefst meer dan 800 militaire bases over de wereld, echter daar heeft men geen aandacht voor bij de reguliere (westerse) media en politiek……

Nogmaals: Rutte 3 zou moeten opstappen en als dit niet gebeurd dient minstens Rutte af te treden!

Zijlstra stelde dat dit de grootste misser was uit zijn politieke loopbaan……. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! En dan meer dan tien jaar lang de leugen in de lucht houden…… Daarmee gaf Zijlstra nogmaals aan dat hij als polticus totaal ongeloofwaardig was!

Als er weer een psychopaat z’n tent uitgaat in de VS en meerdere mensen doodschiet dan wel verwond, is het eerste wat je in het nieuws hoort, dat de politiechef heeft aangegeven dat het niet om een terroristische aanslag gaat……. Meerdere mensen zijn vermoord en/of zwaargewond geraakt en dan durven zeggen dat dit geen terreur is, waar slaat het op?

Uiteraard is dit wel terreur en van een behoorlijke grootte bovendien!

Afgelopen dinsdag berichtte De Stille Waarheid over het commentaar in de reguliere Nederlandse media n.a.v. een aanslag door een ‘rechtse extremist’ in Italië, die daarbij met een pistool tekeer was gegaan tegen migranten. En zoals gewoonlijk als er geen ‘moslim’ dader is betrokken bij een dergelijk gebeuren, werd ook hier gesteld dat het niet om een terreuraanslag zou gaan (dit werd overigens ook in het Radio1, BNR, WDR en BBC nieuws gemeld….)….

‘Rechtse extremisten’ die tekeer gaan tegen minderheden maken zich overduidelijk schuldig aan terreur!

Vreemd overigens dat de Stille Waarheid niet gewoon stelt dat de dader een fascist is, maar spreekt over een rechtse extremist, precies de woorden die de reguliere media gebruiken als het om een fascist of een fascistische partij of -beweging gaat? Terwijl deze ‘rechtse extremist’ zonder meer een fascist is!

Verder goed stuk, alleen met de de conclusie ben ik het deels oneens. Immers islam terreur zou nog enigszins te begrijpen zijn, gezien de grootschalige westerse terreur in landen waar de VS en de rest van het westen (NAVO) niets te zoeken hebben (ook al is geweld niet goed te praten >> mensen die wanhopig zijn en/of zich bij het zien van westerse slachtingen onmachtig voelen, kunnen geweld gaan gebruiken). Ofwel: wie (terreur) wind zaait zal (een terreur) storm oogsten……….

Vergeet niet dat wat het westen onder aanvoering van de VS in het Midden-Oosten uitvreet, niet anders gezien kan worden dan als grootschalige terreur! (laten we dat smerige geweld ook maar eens bij de echte naam gaan noemen, ook als het om de handel en wandel van Israël gaat!)

Nederlandse media vermijden opnieuw het woord ‘terreur’ bij aanslag in Italië

Een 28-jarige Italiaan met extreemrechtse ideeën opende gisteren het vuur op willekeurige migranten in de stad Macerata en verwondde daarbij zes mensen, waarvan er één in kritieke toestand verkeerd. Dat het een terroristische aanslag was, staat inmiddels als een paal boven water. Toch werd deze aanslag in de media uitgelegd als een ‘schietpartij’, ‘poging tot doodslag’ en ‘wraak-actie’, het woord terrorisme werd opnieuw duidelijk vermeden door onze media. Hoe lang blijven Nederlandse journalisten nog doorgaan met deze absurde manier van berichtgeving?
Het begint er steeds meer op te lijken dat de Nederlandse media niet willen dat ze nog vertrouwd worden door hun lezers. De huidige manier van berichtgeving zorgt ervoor dat de kritische, onderzoekende burgers hun vertrouwen verliezen, en de nietsvermoedende nieuwslezer een scheef wereldbeeld ontwikkelt, met alle gevolgen van dien.
De Italiaan die gisteren vanuit een auto op willekeurige migranten schoot, is de 28-jarige Luca Traini.
Volgens italiaanse media toont hij geen berouw, en volgens een woordvoerder van de Italiaanse justitie was hij “kalm en vastberaden”. Traini werd kort na de aanslag opgepakt. Hij zou in het verleden banden hebben gehad met neonazi- en fascistische groeperingen. Op een politiefoto is te zien dat Traini een tatoeage van een neonazi-teken op zijn hoofd heeft en een Italiaanse vlag rond zijn nek heeft geknoopt. De politie heeft bij hem thuis een exemplaar van Mein Kampf gevonden. Allemaal aanwijzingen die erop wijzen dat het een terroristische aanslag was. Toch werd het beestje niet bij de naam genoemd.
‘Wraak’
Nederlandse media schrijven dat Traini mogelijk wraak wilde nemen voor de moord op een vrouw van 18. De hoofdverdachte in die zaak is een man uit Nigeria. Traini kende haar niet, maar zou zich haar dood hebben aangetrokken. “Toen ik het verhaal van haar dood voor de zoveelste keer op de radio hoorde, heb ik mijn pistool uit mijn kluis gehaald“, zou hij tegen de politie hebben gezegd. Dit laat niet alleen de kracht van de media duidelijk zien, maar ook hoe belangrijk het is om als journalist de juiste redeneringen en woordkeuzen te blijven gebruiken. Zo zouden ook de daders van de terroristische aanslagen in Frankrijk en België geroepen hebben ‘Dit is voor Syrië’. Toch werden die aanslagen (terecht) als terroristisch aangemerkt, en niet als ‘wraakactie’. Waarom deze dan wel?
Gevolgen
We hebben het al eerder gemeld, maar blijkbaar is herhaling nodig omtrent dit onderwerp: De Nederlandse journalist hoort dit liever niet, maar een scheef wereldbeeld kan uiteindelijk leiden tot radicalisme, extremisme en zelfs terrorisme. Een terroristische daad gebeurt vanuit een politieke of religieuze ideologie. Welke dat is moet (normaal gesproken) voor de berichtgeving niet uitmaken. Toch merken we een duidelijk verschil in de Nederlandse kranten wanneer de terrorist een ‘extreemrechtse’ extremist blijkt te zijn.
De agenda’s van ‘islamitische’ extremisten verschillen weinig van de ‘extreemrechtse’ extremisten, iets wat journalisten niet (willen) inzien.

Beide groepen zien de werkelijkheid niet in dat moslims en niet-moslims (of migranten en niet-migranten) gewoon vredig samen kunnen leven en beide gebruiken het bestaan van de andere om hun eigen verdraaide wereldbeeld te rechtvaardigen. Journalisten (en extremisten) kijken dwars door de realiteit heen, en praten enkel over een ‘gepolariseerde’ samenleving. Of beter gezegd: ze zien liever een gepolariseerde samenleving. Dat scheve wereldbeeld wordt verspreid door middel van scheve berichtgeving en vervolgens bevestigd door terreuraanvallen, gepleegd door beide kanten. Dit fenomeen wordt ook wel ‘self-fulfilling prophecy’ genoemd. De slachtoffers hiervan zijn helaas altijd onschuldige burgers.

Alsof we terug zijn in de tijd, de tijd voor de illegale aanval van de VS tegen Irak in 2003. Destijds werd er door Collin Powell (toenmalig VS minister van buitenlandse zaken) keihard gelogen in de VN, om een enorme oorlogsmisdaad van te voren recht te kunnen praten……. (een oorlog tegen een ander land voeren is een gigantische oorlogsmisdaad)

Ook nu wordt er door de VS ambassadeur voor de VN, hare kwaadaardigheid en superoplichter Haley, zonder blikken of blozen gelogen over ‘het gevaar Iran…….’

Lawrence Wilkerson was de stafchef van Colin Powell. Hij was dan ook één van de medeverantwoordelijken voor de illegale oorlog tegen Irak in 2003…….

Dezelfde Wilkerson beschuldigt nu de Trump administratie van het manipuleren van ‘bewijsmateriaal’ en het angstzaaien voor Iran (waar Wilkerson vergeet haatzaaien te noemen, dit is immers een vast onderdeel in de leugencampagnes die de VS voert, haatzaaien tegen een tegenstander, neem de leugens over het vermoorden van couveuse baby’s in Koeweit door Iraakse militairen, voorafgaand aan de eerste illegale oorlog van de VS in 1991 tegen Irak….. In 2003 waren het de massavernietigingswapens die Irak zou hebben, terwijl de VN wapeninspecteur Blix meermaals stelde dat dit niet het geval was en dat was het dan ‘ook niet…..’

Of wat dacht je van de beschuldigingen aan het adres van Syrië voor het gebruiken van gifgas tegen de eigen bevolking, dit is nooit bewezen, sterker nog: wel werd bewezen dat elke gifgasaanval die werd onderzocht in Syrië, op de ‘doodsrekening’ staat van de ‘gematigde rebellen’, geteisem dat door het westen wordt gesteund…… Maakt allemaal niet uit: alsnog blijven de westerse reguliere (massa-) media en het grootste deel van de westerse politici deze leugens herhalen…… Dit zijn ‘false flag’ operaties, dus met opzet, zoals in dit geval, mensen gruwelijk vermoorden (of de poging daartoe) met gifgas en dit in de schoenen van een ander schuiven…..

De Trump administratie had zelfs het gore lef te stellen dat Iran samenwerkt met Al Qaida, terwijl Al Qaida elke sjiiet die het tegenkomt vermoord. Hetzelfde werd voor de oorlog tegen Irak gesteld, terwijl Al Qaida onder Saddam Hoessein geen poot aan de grond kreeg in Irak……. Intussen heeft de VS samengewerkt met Al Qaida Syrië en de tak van deze terreurgroep in Syrië zelfs van de zwarte terreurlijst heeft gehaald……

Ik snap werkelijk niet waarom de reguliere media hier geen aandacht aan hebben besteed en elke (zelfs bewezen) claim dat de VS samenwerkt met IS of Al Qaida afdoen als complotdenken…… Daar kan maar één reden voor zijn, de welgestelde bazen of investeringsgroepen die deze media in handen hebben en de regeringen (die middels subsidies voor de publieke omroepen hun zeggenschap kunnen afdwingen) tevreden houden, kortom: kwade opzet! (al zullen die media dit ook afdoen als een complottheorie…..)

Nog een ‘klein detail’ in deze: met het meegaan van de reguliere massamedia in het keihard liegen, brachten (in het geval van de twee VS oorlogen tegen Irak) en brengen de reguliere (massa-) media een ongelofelijke berg ‘fake news’ (‘nepnieuws…)…… Dezelfde media die nu om het hardst schreeuwen dat de sociale media vol staan met ‘fake news’ ofwel ‘nepnieuws’

(ANTIMEDIA) — Fifteen years after the calamitous U.S. invasion of Iraq, an architect of the propaganda used to drum up support for the war is warning that it’s happening again — this time with Iran.
Lawrence Wilkerson, who was chief of staff to former Secretary of State Colin Powell, helped the then-secretary “paint a clear picture that war was the only choice” in his infamous 2003 speech to the U.N. This week, writing for the New York Times — an outlet that, at the time, parroted misleading narratives in support of the war — Wilkerson accused the Trump administration of manipulating evidence and fear-mongering in the same way the Bush administration did to cultivate public support for ousting Saddam Hussein.
In his Monday op-ed, titled “ I Helped Sell the False Choice of War Once. It’s Happening Again,” he wrote:
“As his chief of staff, I helped Secretary Powell paint a clear picture that war was the only choice, that when ‘we confront a regime that harbors ambitions for regional domination, hides weapons of mass destruction and provides haven and active support for terrorists, we are not confronting the past, we are confronting the present. And unless we act, we are confronting an even more frightening future.’”
Though the U.N. and much of the world didn’t buy it, Wilkerson says Americans did, and it amounted to the culmination of a two-year effort by the Bush administration to initiate the war, which he now condemns
“That effort led to a war of choice with Iraq — one that resulted in catastrophic losses for the region and the United States-led coalition, and that destabilized the entire Middle East,” he wrote, going on to call out the Trump administration for pushing the United States down the same path in Iran.
“This should not be forgotten,” he urged, “since the Trump administration is using much the same playbook to create a false impression that war is the only way to address the threats posed by Iran.”
Wilkerson singled out Nikki Haley, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, for her recent saber-rattling against Iran. He accused her of presenting questionable evidence that “Iran was not complying with Security Council resolutions regarding its ballistic missile program and Yemen,” comparing her directly to Powell. “Just like Mr. Powell, Ms. Haley showed satellite images and other physical evidence available only to the United States intelligence community to prove her case. But the evidence fell significantly short.”
Wilkerson accused Haley’s claims about Iran of essentially mirroring Powell’s claims about Iraq, also warning that war with Iran will be very different. It is “a country of almost 80 million people whose vast strategic depth and difficult terrain make it a far greater challenge than Iraq, would be 10 to 15 times worse than the Iraq war in terms of casualties and costs,” he cautioned, still asserting that countries like China, Russia, and North Korea pose far more “formidable challenges to America” than Iran does.
The former chief of staff to Powell further criticized the Trump administration, citing its National Security Strategy, which claims:
“The longer we ignore threats from countries determined to proliferate and develop weapons of mass destruction, the worse such threats become, and the fewer defensive options we have.”
“The Bush-Cheney team could not have said it better as it contemplated invading Iraq,” Wilkerson wrote, going on to call out not just Haley and the Trump administration but also the executive branch in general, Congress, and the media.
“Though Ms. Haley’s presentation missed the mark, and no one other than the national security elite will even read the strategy, it won’t matter,” he lamented. “We’ve seen this before: a campaign built on the politicization of intelligence and shortsighted policy decisions to make the case for war. And the American people have apparently become so accustomed to executive branch warmongering — approved almost unanimously by the Congress — that such actions are not significantly contested.”
He implicated the news media, as well, noting that outlets recently “failed to refute false narratives” from the Trump administration that Iran worked with Al-Qaeda to undermine the U.S. (never forget the CIA’s overseas meddling helped lay the foundation for Al-Qaeda in the first place, and its policy of arming extremists in Syria also ended up empowering the terror group). He compared this false conflation with Dick Cheney’s attempts to link Saddam Hussein to Al-Qaeda during the Bush years.
Nevertheless, Wilkerson wrote, “[t]oday, the analysts claiming close ties between Al Qaeda and Iran come from the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, which vehemently opposes the Iran nuclear deal and unabashedly calls for regime change in Iran.”
He went on to list the variety of ways the Trump administration is drumming up unfounded support for war against Iran:
“We should include the president’s decertification ultimatum in January that Congress must ‘fix’ the Iran nuclear deal, despite the reality of Iran’s compliance; the White House’s pressure on the intelligence community to cook up evidence of Iran’s noncompliance; and the administration’s choosing to view the recent protests in Iran as the beginning of regime change. Like the Bush administration before, these seemingly disconnected events serve to create a narrative in which war with Iran is the only viable policy.”
Considering Iran has long been a crown jewel in the U.S. hegemonic efforts, it should be no surprise the Trump administration isn’t budging on its plans to intervene. Wilkerson, however, knows far better than most the dangers of pushing unsubstantiated claims to advocate war.
He warned:
“As I look back at our lock-step march toward war with Iraq, I realize that it didn’t seem to matter to us that we used shoddy or cherry-picked intelligence; that it was unrealistic to argue that the war would ‘pay for itself,’ rather than cost trillions of dollars; that we might be hopelessly naïve in thinking that the war would lead to democracy instead of pushing the region into a downward spiral.”

Trump wil weer de grootste, dit keer: een militaire parade in Washington………

In navolging van Frankrijk (en anderen zoals China, Rusland en Noord-Korea), wil nu ook het 666 beest Trump een militaire parade (en de grootste, zoals je al begrepen had) houden in Washington, waarbij hij expliciet stelde dat hij de wereld de kracht van het VS leger wil tonen……. Alsof er nog ook maar één imbeciel is, die niet begrepen had welke vernietigende kracht het leger van de VS heeft, een leger waarmee dit gestolen land terreur zaait waar het maar uitkomt (gelukkig nog met enkele beperkingen, anders had de boel hier al plat gelegen…….)

Het militarisme vieren en dat alleen om de kracht van de VS te tonen, op een moment waarop de VS sinds 1945 al meer dan 22 miljoen mensen heeft vermoord in illegale oorlogen…….. Alleen deze eeuw vermoordde de VS al meer dan 2 miljoen mensen, een cijfer van rond een jaar geleden, terwijl Trump in die tijd z’n in bloed gedompelde voet ‘het gas nog verder indrukte!’ M.a.w.: het aantal door de VS vermoordde mensen is onevenredig hard gestegen, dit terwijl de voorganger van Trump, ‘vredesduif’ Obama zich al schuldig heeft gemaakt aan een groot aantal enorme oorlogsmisdaden en bovendien de eerste VS president was, die de volle 2 termijnen in (illegale) oorlogen was verwikkeld…… Daarnaast begon Obama tijdens zijn bewind ook nog eens een paar illegale oorlogen en werd het standrechtelijk executeren van verdachten (ofwel: moord) middels drones enorm opgevoerd onder diens bewind……

Uiteraard is het militair-industrieel complex verrukt over de beslissing een militaire parade te houden, sterker nog: de lobbyisten van deze doodsindustrie hebben in Washington gegarandeerd enorm lopen lobbyen voor een militaire parade…….Grotere (‘gratis’) reclame voor een bedrijvencomplex is niet te bedenken, een peperdure reclame waarvoor met name de gewone belastingbetalers in de VS voor op zullen draaien!

Over de militaire parade van Rusland gesproken, deze is voor de westerse reguliere media (waaronder het ‘onafhankelijke’ Nieuwsuur) steevast het teken eens flink uit te pakken met anti-Russische propaganda……

Zo valt er onder de video op YouTube van Nieuwsuur te lezen: ‘Rusland laat militaire spierballen zien is in Moskou’, waarbij men niet even meldt dat deze parade vooral ter ere is van de overwinning van de Sovjet Unie op de nazi-Duitse agressie, die o.a. aan miljoenen Russen het leven heeft gekost……

Trouwens een tekst (de spierballen praat) die al in de 60er jaren van de vorige eeuw werd gebruikt, ‘maar goed…’ (overigens geldt die herdenking met zo.n parade ook voor de militaire parades in China en Noord-Korea, ook deze is deels ook te danken aan de Tweede Oorlog en wat betreft Noord-Korea: de Koreaanse Oorlog, waarin de VS één derde van de Noord-Koreaanse bevolking vermoordde en op een gegeven moment geen doelen overhad om te bombarderen…….

Het zou beter zijn als er helemaal geen militaire parades meer werden gehouden, i.p.v. er één toe te voegen als verheerlijking van de enorme terreur die de VS (illegaal) elders uitoefent…… Waar de echte redenen voor Trump natuurlijk zijn: z’n ‘volgelingen’ verder opzwepen tot het steunen van nog meer illegale oorlogen en zoals gezegd, het militair-industrieel complex van een enorme reclame voorzien……. (reken maar dat zo’n parade wereldwijd bekeken zal worden) Reken maar dat Trump aandelen heeft van wapenfabrikanten…..

De beslissing van Trump tot het houden van een militaire parade is van een fout niveau, zoals je die maar zelden tegenkomt en is op ‘z’n best’ te vergelijken met de militaire parades in nazi-Duitsland…… Kortom: smerige propaganda voor een uiterst bloedige terroristische legermacht!!

Hier wat ‘fijne zaken’ die de vereniging van terreurstaten, ofwel de VS militair voor elkaar kreeg, hoewel? Vaak juist niet voor elkaar kreeg, maar wel land in puin achterliet, naast een ongelofelijk aantal doden, moord en vernieling waar het militair-industrieel complex kapitalen aan verdiende en verdient: ‘VS buitenlandbeleid sinds WOII: een lange lijst van staatsgrepen en oorlogen……….‘ en: ‘List of wars involving the United States‘ (vanaf de oprichting, van het middels een genocide gestolen land dat men de VS of ‘Amerika’ noemt…)
