De VS start een wapenrace in het brandende Midden-Oosten……

De Verenigde Arabische Emiraten (VAE, de Engelse versie is: UAE) en Bahrein hebben een
‘vredesakkoord’ (lees: handelsakkoord) gesloten met de fascistische apartheidsstaat Israël en
dat ‘onder de bezielende’ leiding van de gewelddadige en
psychopathisch fascistische VS president Trump…… Een ‘vredesakkoord’
terwijl deze partijen in feite nooit direct met elkaar in oorlog zijn
geweest en intussen al weer jaren handeldrijven…. ‘maar goed…’
Uiteraard wenst Trump daar ook wat voor terug te zien t.b.v. de wapenindustrie in de VS, dus kondigde
hij aan dat hij voor miljarden aan wapens wenst te verkopen aan de
VAE…….

De VAE
aan wie Trump (nog meer) wapens wil leveren*, hebben o.a. meegewerkt aan de genocide in Jemen en ondanks dat ze hun
troepen hebben teruggetrokken is het wel duidelijk dat ze de
grootschalige Saoedische terreur tegen de sjiitische bevolking van
Jemen nog steeds dik steunen…..

Door de
voortdurende hongersnood in Jemen is het aantal
Coronadoden daar in verhouding gigantisch en behoort Jemen nu tot de
landen met de meeste Coronadoden, logisch mensen zijn verzwakt en een
stevige griep als COVID-19 is genoeg om verzwakte mensen met bosjes
tegelijk te doden……

In Jemen
is al jaren sprake van een genocide op de sjiitische bevolking iets
dat blijkbaar niemand in het westen ook maar ene moer kan
verdommen…….. Terwijl het toch de westerse politici waren die na
de genocide in Rwanda durfden te zeggen dat dit niet nog eens zou
worden getolereerd……. Intussen moet het dodental in Jemen de 500.000 al
ver zijn overschreden, zeker is dat minstens 100.000 kinderen het leven hebben gelaten in deze heel smerige genocide…….. 

Het doelbewust uithongeren van de sjiitische bevolking in Jemen door de Saoedische terreurcoalitie, met actieve hulp van de VS en Groot-Brittannië is een manier van handelen die men in de middeleeuwen gebruikte om steden op de knieën te dwingen >> zonder meer een grove misdaad tegen de menselijkheid!!! Dit nog buiten het bombarderen van ziekenhuizen, scholen, waterzuiveringsinstallaties, markten en woonwijken door die terreurcoalitie…….

Het
maakt Trump geen sodemieter uit dat hij met nog meer wapenleveranties een hele berg olie gooit op het al in brand staande Midden-Oosten, het
interesseert hem hoegenaamd geen donder: geld verdienen is het devies
van hem en zijn vrienden in het militair-industrieel complex………

Bovendien
is het voor 100% zeker dat de VS landen als de VAE wil volproppen met
wapens om daar t.z.t. een oorlog mee te kunnen beginnen tegen
Iran……… Iran ook al een land waar de bevolking verzwakt is door
handelen van de VS, in dit geval sancties, die bijna geen land durft
te overtreden, daar ze anders de knoet in de nek zullen krijgen van
de VS en bedrijven die zich niet houden aan de regels kunnen verder
opereren in het buitenland wel vergeten……… Kortom terreur van
enorme omvang, maar ja wat wil je, we hebben hier tenslotte wel te
maken met verreweg de grootste terreurentiteit die deze aarde ooit
heeft gezien: de VS ofwel het Vierde Rijk……..

Het
onderstaand schrijven is van CODEPINK en is een petitie die wij logischerwijs niet kunnen tekenen. Mocht je hier vrienden uit de VS hebben,
of in de VS, vraag ze dan ajb deze petitie te tekenen, immers
het Midden-Oosten heeft allesbehalve nieuwe destabilisatie nodig van
de VS (met hulp van andere NAVO partners, waaronder Nederland), die hebben het gebied al in vuur en vlam gezet en dat tegen de
prijs van meer dan 2,5 miljoen doden in Irak en Syrië, inclusief de doden van de illegale oorlogen tegen Afghanistan en Libië……..)

Oh en
mocht je denken dat het onder Biden beter zal gaan, kan ik je alvast
uit de droom helpen: de kans dat hij Iran daadwerkelijk zal
aanvallen is zelfs groter dan onder Trump….. Vergeet verder niet dat
hij als vicepresident onder Obama heeft meegedaan aan de genocide in Jemen en
ook hij zal met veel plezier de VAE, Bahrein en Saoedi-Arabië
blijven voorzien van wapens, munitie, plus rollend, varend en
vliegend oorlogstuig……..

Over
Saoedi-Arabië gesproken: vreemd dat men in de westerse media net
doet alsof dat land geen banden heeft met Israël, immers zonder dat
er zo’n ‘fake vredesverdrag’ lag of ligt, drijven deze twee landen al
jaren handel onderling en dat had iedere journalist die zichzelf een
beetje serieus neemt kunnen weten…….

Naast
Jemen is het andere grote slachtoffer van deze valse deals het zo
verdrukte Palestijnse volk, ook al een volk dat wat betreft de
westerse reguliere media en politiek kan doodvallen……..

Every
once in a while we find ourselves agreeing with the very person we
are usually railing against. Today, that person is the I
♥️Israel
hawk,
Representative Eliot Engel. 

Yesterday,
after President Trump gave notice to Congress that he plans to sell
billions in weapons to the UAE, Engel, chairman of the House Foreign
Affairs Committee, released a statement expressing apprehension.
While his concern (not ours) centered around how this deal might
jeopardize “Israel’s
qualitative military edge,” he also correctly called on Congress
not to rubber-stamp a rushed arms sale that may start a new Middle
East arms race. “Will the price for normalization with Israel be an
infusion of advanced weapons [to the UAE]? Is this wise?” he asked.
He pointed out that weapons to the UAE will likely result in more
Arab states asking for weapons and that this will put American
national security at risk.

Engel
is wrong that keeping Israel more highly armed than its neighbors
will keep the American people safe, and we are glad that he is being
replaced in Congress by someone who supports Palestinian rights, but
he’s spot on that arming the Middle East to the teeth makes the US
(and the entire world) less safe. Please
take two minutes right now to write
your senators and representative and ask them to join Rep. Engel in
calling for a careful examination of the deal. Tell them to go
further: they should oppose the deal because it will fuel a new arms
race and because of how the UAE has been using US weapons in the
brutal war in Yemen. 

While
the UAE officially pulled out of the war in Yemen in 2019, they
remain involved behind the scenes and are yet to be held responsible
for the immense suffering that they caused. As a result of the
Saudi-UAE airstrikes that decimated the healthcare facilities and
infrastructure, Yemenis are suffering from massive malnutrition and
Yemen now has one of the highest COVID death rates in the world. The
UAE has also been found guilty of defying a UN arms embargo to supply
weapons to Libya. The last thing the UAE deserves for what they have
done in Yemen and Libya is a reward of more weapons.

Netanyahu
— who originally pretended that he didn’t know that the
normalization deal included a weapons sales deal — is saying that
if the US sells its highly sophisticated F35s to the UAE, then Israel
needs more weapons to maintain its “qualitative military edge.”
It’s bad enough that the Israel-UAE normalization deal is further
entrenching Israeli apartheid and stomping on Palestinian rights, but
to reward Israel with EVEN MORE WEAPONS is criminal. Israel is a
rogue apartheid state that should be tried at the ICC, not rewarded
with more weapons.

priorities in the Middle East should be freeing Palestine, ending the
war in Yemen, and normalizing relations with Iran, not further ARMING
THE MIDDLE EAST! No matter what administration we have in 2021, we

Trump tot de VN: VS brengt vrede, China agressie…. ha! ha! ha! ha!

Trump,
de psychopathische oorlogsmisdadiger gebruikte zijn vierde toespraak tot de Algemene Vergadering van de VN om zichzelf een hele grote
veer in de enorm vieze bips te steken, volgens hem is hij een welwillend
en verantwoordelijk wereldleider, terwijl China de agressor van
de wereld is….. ha! ha! ha! ha!

Dat was
het nog niet, Trump vervolgde met te zeggen dat de VS haar doel
vervult als vredestichter…….. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!
ha! ha! ha! Uiteraard doelde Trump daarbij op het Abraham-akkoord
tussen Israël, de Verenigde Arabische Emiraten (VAE) en Bahrein, dat
hij zou hebben beklonken en een akkoord tussen Servië en Kosovo.
Alsof de VS een vredelievend land is, dat de laatste 20 jaar maar
liefst meer dan 2,5 miljoen mensen heeft vermoord in illegale
oorlogen, illegale geheime militaire operaties en middels al even
illegale drone aanvallen op van terreur verdachte personen, ofwel standrechtelijke executies, een oorlogsmisdaad van formaat (waarbij meer dan 90% van de slachtoffers
niet eens werd verdacht, ofwel veelal vrouwen en kinderen….)…..

Trump
heeft in de 4 jaar tijd dat hij aan het bewind is al meer bommen op
Afghanistan afgeworpen dan oorlogsmisdadiger Obama in 8 jaar tijd!!

Natuurlijk moest Trump nog even China de schuld geven van het Coronavirus,
terwijl het er toch steeds meer op lijkt dat dit virus uit het
militaire laboratorium voor biologische oorlogsvoering van Ford Detrick komt, waar vorig jaar juli e.e.a fout ging, waarna de basis
met een bloedgang werd gesloten……. (voorts heeft men in Frankrijk
na het bekijken van ‘oude’ medische stalen geconcludeerd dat de eerste
Coronagevallen in dat land al dateren van voor december 2019…….)

Trump
bleef China aanvallen en stelt dat er actie moet worden ondernomen
tegen dat land en dat het kwaad dat dit land over de wereld brengt
moet worden geneutraliseerd onder leiding van de VS….. Zo’n 100
jaar geleden zou een dergelijke toespraak worden gezien als een
oorlogsverklaring…….

Trump stelde in zijn toespraak tot de VN verder dat de VS de grote beschermer is van mensenrechten…… Wat daar nog op te zeggen, als je ziet dat de VS een enorme schender is van mensenrechten, neem alleen al de omgang met de gekleurde bevolking van de VS en de barbaarse behandeling van vluchtelingen…..*

“Information
Clearing House”
– President Donald Trump used his fourth, and perhaps final, United
Nations General Assembly speech to portray himself as a benevolent,
responsible world leader and China as the world’s
aggressor.

“America is fulfilling our destiny as
peacemaker,” he said in a prerecorded address, touting US-brokered
normalization-of-relations deals between Israel and two Arab nations,
ongoing talks to end the Afghanistan War, and a Serbia and Kosovo
pact signed at the White House.

“As we pursue this bright
future, we must hold accountable the nation which unleashed this
plague onto the world: China,” Trump added, referring to the
coronavirus.

In many ways, the speech was vintage Trump. He
boasted that his America First approach to foreign policy —
anathema to the UN’s multilateral ethos — is the best way forward
for the US and the world. He beamed about US economic and military
strength. And he bragged about his administration’s handling of the
coronavirus, even though nearly 200,000 Americans have died of the
disease, while expressing hopes for a better, pandemic-less
world.

But the key takeaway is Trump’s framing of China as
the nation most responsible for the Covid-19 outbreak, and therefore
the country most deserving of the world’s scorn. It continues the
administration’s preference to speak of China as a Cold War-like
enemy, with the US leading the way to rid the globe of its evil. “The
United Nations must hold China accountable for their actions,”
Trump declared.

Many
expected Trump to say these things,  partly
because he’s been saying them for months. He at first praised
China’s handling of the coronavirus, and only started to speak
belligerently about Beijing as his failure to control America’s
outbreak became too big to ignore. Now he’s taken that message, at
first geared toward a domestic audience, to the global stage.

Of
course, Trump did not vow to distribute a coronavirus vaccine around
the world, nor did he swear to tackle key global problems like
climate change. Such failures may lead much of the speech to be
disregarded.

But in terms of getting his main point across —
US good, China bad — the short, virtually delivered speech likely
did the trick.

It is my profound
honor to address the United Nations General Assembly, 75 years after
the end of World War II and the founding of the United Nations.

We
are once again engaged in a great global struggle. We have waged a
fierce battle against the invisible enemy — the China virus —
which has claimed countless lives in 188 countries.

In
the United States, we launched the most aggressive mobilization,
since the Second World War. We rapidly produced a record supply of
ventilators creating a surplus that allowed us to share them with
friends and partners all around the globe. We pioneered lifesaving
treatments, reducing our fatality rate 85 percent since April. Thanks
to our efforts, three vaccines are in the final stage of clinical
trials. We are mass producing them in advance so they can be
delivered immediately upon arrival.

We
will distribute a vaccine. We will defeat the virus. We will end the
pandemic. And we will enter a new era of unprecedented prosperity,
cooperation, and peace.

As
we pursue this bright future, we must hold accountable the nation
which unleashed this plague onto the world: China. In the earliest
days of the virus, China locked down travel domestically while
allowing flights to leave China — and infect the world.

China
condemned my travel ban on their country, even as they canceled
domestic flights and locked citizens in their homes. The Chinese
government and the World Health Organization (WHO), which is virtually
controlled by China, falsely declared that there was no evidence of
human-to-human transmission. Later they falsely said people without
symptoms would not spread the disease. The United Nations must hold
China accountable for their actions.

In
addition, every year China dumps millions and millions of tonnes of
plastic and trash into the oceans, overfishes other countries’
waters, destroys vast swaths of coral reef, and emits more toxic
mercury into the atmosphere than any country anywhere in the world.
China’s carbon emissions are nearly twice what the US has, and it’s
rising fast.

By
contrast, after I withdrew from the one-sided Paris
climate accord, last year America reduced its carbon emissions by
more than any country in the agreement. Those who attack America’s
exceptional environmental record while ignoring China’s rampant
pollution are not interested in the environment. They only want to
punish America, and I will not stand for it.

If
the United Nations is to be an effective organization, it must focus
on the real problems of the world. This includes terrorism, the
oppression of women, forced labor, drug trafficking, human and sex
trafficking, religious persecution, and the ethnic cleansing of
religious minorities. America will always be a leader in human
rights. My administration is advancing religious liberty, opportunity
for women, the decriminalization of homosexuality, combating human
trafficking, and protecting unborn children.

We
also know that American prosperity is the bedrock of freedom and
security all over the world. In three short years, we built the
greatest economy in history, and we are quickly doing it again. Our
military has increased substantially in size: We spent $2.5 trillion
over the last four years on our military. We have the most powerful
military anywhere in the world — and it’s not even close.

We
stood up two decades of China’s trade abuses. We revitalized the
NATO alliance, where other countries are now paying a much more fair
share. We forged historic partnerships with Mexico, Guatemala,
Honduras, and El Salvador to stop human smuggling. We are standing
with the people of Cuba, Nicaragua, and Venezuela, in their righteous
struggle for freedom.

We
withdrew
from the terrible Iran nuclear deal and imposed crippling
sanctions on the world’s leading state sponsor of terror. We
obliterated the ISIS Caliphate 100 percent, killed its founder and
leader, al-Baghdadi,
and eliminated the world’s top terrorist, Qassem
Soleimani.

This
month, we achieved a peace deal between Serbia and Kosovo. We reached
a landmark breakthrough with two
peace deals in the Middle East after decades of no progress.
Israel, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain all signed a historic
peace agreement in the White House with many other Middle Eastern
countries to come. They are coming fast, and they know it’s great
for them and it’s great for the world.

These
groundbreaking peace deals at the dawn of the new Middle East, by
taking a different approach, we have achieved different outcomes —
far superior outcomes. We took an approach, and the approach worked.
We intend to deliver more peace agreements shortly, and I have never
been more optimistic for the future of the region. There is no blood
in the sand. Those days are hopefully over.

As
we speak, the United States is also working to end the war in
Afghanistan, and we are bringing our troops home. America is
fulfilling our destiny as peacemaker, but it is peace through
strength. We are stronger now than ever before. Our weapons are at an
advanced level, like we’ve never had before, like, frankly, we’ve
never even thought of having before, and I only pray to God that we
never have to use them.

For
decades, the same tired voices propose the same failed solutions,
pursuing global ambitions at the expense of their own people. But
only when you take care of your own citizens will you find a true
basis for cooperation. As president, I have rejected the failed
approaches of the past, and I am proudly putting America first, just
as you should be putting your countries first. That’s okay. That’s
what you should be doing.

I
am supremely confident that next year, when we gather in person, we
will be in the midst of one of the greatest years in our history. And
frankly, hopefully, in the history of the world. Thank you, God bless
you all. God bless America. And God bless the United Nations.

De
reguliere westerse media loven het ‘vredesakkoord’ (Abraham-akkoord)
van Israël met de Verenigde Arabische Emiraten (VAE) en Bahrein, zonder te
kijken waarom e.e.a. gebeurt en wat de gevolgen daarvan zijn. Niet zo
vreemd als je ziet dat diezelfde media de westerse terreur onder
leiding van de VS in het Midden-Oosten, Afghanistan en een paar
Afrikaanse landen van A
tot Z hebben gesteund en daar nog steeds achter staan, zelfs als
achteraf bewijzen boven tafel kwamen waaruit overduidelijk bleek dat deze illegale oorlogen ‘werden gelegitimeerd’ door leugens, zoals die over Irak
onder Saddam Hoessein als zou dat land massavernietigingswapens
hebben gehad…..

Het
grootste doel van dit Abraham-akkoord* is Iran nog verder te
isoleren (en zo een steeds grotere legermacht op de been te brengen
om dit land aan te vallen) dit vanwege de zogenaamde agressie van dit
land…… Terwijl datzelfde westen (nogmaals: onder aanvoering van
de VS) alleen deze eeuw al meer dan 2,5 miljoen mensen heeft vermoord
in de illegale oorlogen tegen Afghanistan, Irak, Libië en Syrië, echter ook middels de duizenden moorden
die in de loop van de tijd werden begaan met behulp van drones en
illegale geheime militaire operaties……

Eigenlijk
nog veel schandaliger is het feit dat het verdrukte Palestijnse volk
met dit Abraham-akkoord elke hoop op hulp en steun van haar
arabische familie verder kan vergeten, terwijl deze mensen zich al in
een wanhopige positie bevinden en geen eigen leven kunnen leiden
zonder te worden geconfronteerd met Israëlische terreur en dat op
dagelijkse basis het jaarrond……

Eén en
ander is nogmaals een teken dat deze reguliere westerse media alles
behalve onafhankelijk zijn en de oren laten hangen naar de steenrijke
eigenaren van die media en de neoliberale westerse politiek……

Vanmorgen sprak Bernard Hammelburg, de bolronde ‘buitenlanddeskundige’ van BNR, nogmaals lovende woorden over het Abraham-akkoord en uiteraard werd Iran als de grote boosdoener afgeschilderd, de nitwit spreekt zelfs over ‘de as’ Iran-Libanon-Syrië, alsof die meer bloed hebben vergoten, of zelfs maar in de buurt komen van wat ‘de as’ VS-Israël-de VAE-Bahrein-Saoedi-Arabië* aan bloed hebben vergoten…… Vergeet bijvoorbeeld niet dat Saoedi-Arabië en de VS de terreurgroepen in Syrië van wapens (inclusief rollend oorlogstuig en raketten), geld en militaire training hebben voorzien…… Om over de bloedige Israëlische terreur tegen het verdrukte Palestijnse volk nog maar te zwijgen, zoals het met scherp schieten op ongewapende demonstranten, waaronder kinderen, medisch hulpverleners en journalisten, dit tijdens de Great Return March (klik voor  berichten over die March op het label met die aanduiding, direct onder dit bericht)…….

Voorts voert Israël met grote regelmaat illegale bombardementen uit op doelen in Syrië, waarbij deze fascistische apartheidsstaat keer op keer het luchtruim van Libanon schendt…… (ook zou Israël zelfs doelen in Iran hebben gebombardeerd….)

Nee voor opperzak Hammelburg zijn de landen die met Israël heulen een coalitie, of geallieerden, terwijl dit uiteraard een as van het kwaad is, als bewijs daarvoor ook de genocide die Saoedi-Arabië, de VAE, Egypte en de VS uitvoeren in Jemen, waar intussen al minstens een half miljoen mensen moet zijn overleden, of beter gezegd: moet zijn vermoord (waaronder om en nabij 100.000 kinderen……) door grootschalige terreur en blokkades van voedsel, water, brandstof en medicijnen door de genoemde schoftenlanden…….. (de laatst genoemde zaken zijn zelfs misdaden tegen de menselijkheid!!!)

Ach ja, Hammelburg, de ploert die mensen op de sociale media  kakkerlakken durft te noemen, je weet wel zoals de nazi-Duitsers de Joden afschilderden voor en tijdens WOII…….

Opperschoften en oorlogsmisdadigers Pompeo en Natanyahu (deze twee hebben ze duidelijk te zien beiden achter de ellebogen……)

The
presidential election of 2020 is inching closer by the day, and
naturally, Israel
is a major beneficiaryof
the political jockeying that is taking place.

Given
what we already know about this administration it’s not completely
fantastical to think that it might resort to the very worstand
that if it did so Israel would be a large factor in it. 

Actually I
think it’s interesting how the further isolation of Iran is not a
much bigger talking point among analysts when they discuss Israel’s
new agreements with the autocratic Persian Gulf states of Bahrain
and the United Arab Emirates.Shared
enmity of Iran is the driving force behind Israel’s (now disclosed)
relations with these two states, as
well as others;
the humiliation of Palestinians, while an awful betrayal, is much
less a goal of the Gulf states than it is a consequence they are
willing to accept. Even if every neocolonial western-backed regime in
the Middle East decided to recognize Israel it wouldn’t solve
Israel’s true
existential issues.

Anyway,
the U.S., Israel and several Gulf states are out of the closet as a
front, and they are the “good guys,” while Iran, Hezbollah, Hamas
and whomever else “they” want to demonize are the “bad guys,”
and it seems like we lived through something
very similarnot
all that long ago. The international order may not be a
Hobbesian-like anarchy but it is ruthlessly rational in its amorality
and inhumanity. In this regard Israel has shown itself to be a great
success.

During
this holy week of contemplation,
it’s worth asking if a Jewish State in the Levant that was founded
against the will of the majority of the people who lived there and
that has defined itself in opposition to the flora and fauna of the
region, has
been worth the costs.

Het in
Washington getekende ‘vredesakkoord’ (Abraham-akkoord) tussen
Israël, de Verenigde Arabische Emiraten (VAE) en Bahrein is een
vehikel om de VS dominantie in het Midden-Oosten te bewaren en is
tegelijkertijd een bondgenootschap tegen ‘Iraanse agressie….’ Natuurlijk is het tevens een
handelsverdrag, zodat Israël haar wapens en drones kan leveren aan
de arabische, soennitische landen die ik zojuist noemde…… (tevens
een ‘mooie gelegenheid’ om ‘de boycot door het westen’ [waar amper
sprake van is] te breken op producten van illegale nederzettingen uit de al
even illegaal door Israël bezette West Bank, ofwel zo kan Israël die foute producten NB kwijt aan arabische staten…..)

Een
‘vredesverdrag’ tussen landen die nooit oorlog voerden, terwijl de
woorden van de fascistische psychopaten Trump en Netanyahu bij de
argeloze kijker/luisteraar de idee doen ontstaan dat deze staten al
decennia in ‘een hete oorlog’ waren verwikkeld……

Zoals
eerder op deze plek gezegd, tevens een ‘mooie gelegenheid’ voor
Israël om het verdrukte Palestijnse volk nog verder te terroriseren
zonder dat een aantal arabische landen in de toekomst aan de bel zullen
trekken……

Gisternacht in het BBC World Service radionieuws van 00.00 u. een
verslaggever die Trump voorzichtig een ‘vredesbrenger’ noemde, de
vredesbrenger voor het Midden-Oosten….. Het is dat het zo triest is, anders zou je je daadwerkelijk doodlachen…… Uiteraard is Trump
allesbehalve een vredesbrenger, hij heeft zo mogelijk de boel nog
verder gedestabiliseerd in dat deel van de wereld……. Waar Israël
nu een nieuwe markt heeft voor haar wapens en foute producten is de
VS al geruime tijd een grote wapenexporteur voor de meest foute dictatuur in het Midden-Oosten, t.w. Saoedi-Arabië, om nog maar te zwijgen over
de militaire hulp van de VS aan de fascistische apartheidsstaat
Israël met 3,8 miljard dollar per jaar…….

Met dit akkoord kan de Trump administratie ook wapens leveren aan de VAE, tot nu toe had deze administratie daar goedkeuring voor nodig van het Congres…….

De
wapens die de VS en Israël leveren en zullen leveren aan de VAE worden o.a.
gebruikt voor de genocide die Saoedi-Arabië met hulp van de VAE,
Egypte (ontvangt ook wapens van de VS) en Marokko uitvoert in Jemen, dit met militaire hulp van de
VS en Groot-Brittannië….. (Israël had eerder al politieke en economische banden aangeknoopt met de reli-fascistische apartheidsstaat Saoedi-Arabië…)

Dit
zogenaamde vredesakkoord is de opmaat naar een illegale oorlog tegen
Iran….. (Saoedi-Arabië zou bezig zijn met de ontwikkeling van
kernwapens en reken maar dat de VS daar de helpende hand biedt…)
Mocht deze reli-fascistische dictatuur (‘koninkrijk’ waarmee ons
koningshuis schandalig genoeg vriendschappelijke banden
onderhoudt….) inderdaad beschikken over kernwapens is een
kernoorlog tegen Iran bijna onvermijdelijk…. Niet vreemd dus dat
Iran haar pogingen om een kernwapen te ontwikkelen weer zou hebben
opgepakt….. (al moet ik zeggen dat deze verdachtmaking van de CIA
komt en die terreurorganisatie spreekt voor het overgrote deel in
leugens…)

Eén
ding is zeker: het door Israël verdrukte Palestijnse volk is het
eerste grote slachtoffer van dit zogenaamde vredesverdrag……

Netanyahu
was in Washington D.C. to sign U.S.-brokered deals with the UAE and
Bahrain today.
Not only are these deals an underhanded way to maintain Israel’s
status quo of land theft and apartheid, but they also
come with huge arms sales. Normalization with Israel AND weapons
sales? Let’s go ahead and say it: these “peace” agreements
don’t have much to do with peace. Many politicians around the world
are applauding these deals — but we aren’t celebrating, we are
protesting outside the White House today! Take action right now to
tell
Congress not to approve any weapons sales to the UAE, Bahrain, or
other countries involved in the war in Yemen.  

The
United States is deeply involved in militarizing and terrorizing the
Middle East, from the $3.8 billion annually we give to Israel in
military assistance to our support for the Saudi-led war in Yemen.
Israel’s normalization deal with the UAE was couched in delaying
annexation, but Netanyahu announced right away that he still plans to
annex, and just
days after the announcement of the normalization deal, news broke
that it contained a “secret clause” providing for billions of
dollars in weapons sales to the UAE from the U.S.
I wonder how long it will be before we hear about a secret weapons
deal for Bahrain?

To
call these self-serving arrangements “peace deals” is a farce.
Not only do these deals pave the way for more weapons sales, but they
were also both brokered without any consideration for the 5 million
Palestinians living under apartheid, occupation, and siege. 

The
good news is that the Trump administration can’t sell the weapons
without Congressional approval. Contact
your Senators and Representative now and tell them not to approve
weapons sales to the UAE, Bahrain, or any other country involved in
the war in Yemen. 

Both
the U.S. and Bahrain are part of the Saudi-led coalition that has
been wrecking Yemen for over five years. The UAE says that it ended
its involvement in the war but they still maintain operational
control of several non-state armed groups totaling around 90,000
fighters on the ground in Yemen. Bahrain, which is still part of the
Saudi-led coalition, is also home to a U.S. naval base with almost
8,000 troops. On top of all of this, both the
UAE and Bahrain are repressive dictatorships.

We
need to shut down new arms deals before they even begin. Please
contact your representatives now and ask them to oppose any arms
deals with the UAE and Bahrain.

After

oppose the deal that was signed this afternoon to normalize Israeli
apartheid and the war in Yemen. Use

Afgelopen zaterdag was het weer zover beste bezoeker, nadat de pagina van Anti-Media was
geladen, spoot de koffie met kracht tegen de ruiten van huize
Azijnpisser en dat had alles met de kop van het hieronder opgenomen
artikel te maken.

De
reli-fascistische terreurstaten Saoedi-Arabië ziet zichzelf
als een baken van licht tegen de Iraanse ‘visie van duisternis…..’ Waar
halen ze ‘t vandaan??!!! Men is daar blijkbaar verblind geraakt door
onderdrukking van vrouwen, onderdrukking die in het openbaar te zien
is met de verplichte burka’s waarin de meeste vrouwen zich moeten
kleden in die twee terreurstaten…..

Wellicht
is deze enorme hersenkronkel ook een gevolg van de in feite illegale
oorlog die deze terreurstaten uitvechten tegen de Houthi’s in Jemen, een
oorlog die is uitgedraaid op een genocide tegen de sjiitische
bewoners van Jemen……….

Hoewel
ook de openbare executies voor zaken als kritiek hebben op het bewind
in Riyad, oorzaak kan zijn van dergelijke hersenspinsels…….

Hoe
durft men daar van zichzelf te zeggen dat het licht verspreidt,
terwijl de pers volkomen door het bewind in die terreurstaten wordt
gecontroleerd en elke journalist die maar een komma verkeerd zet, in
het gevang belandt en niet zelden wordt vermoord, zie de vreselijke
moord op Jamal Khashoggi…….

Over
Khashoggi en de media gesproken: hoe is het mogelijk dat de westerse
reguliere media en het grootste deel van de westerse politiek pas
wakker werden door de moord op deze journalist, die het grootste deel
van z’n leven het bewind in Riyad heeft gesteund in haar bloedige
terreur, ook die in eigen land……. 

Bovendien was Saoedi-Arabië ook met Khashoggi als ‘journalist’ (lees: ‘propagandist’) een promotor voor het
wahabisme, een fanatieke tak van de islam die Saoedi-Arabië over de wereld heeft verspreid en verspreidt, dit middels de bouw van moskeeën en madrassa’s, die bediend worden door imams die Saoedi-Arabië welgevallig zijn…… (over verspreiden van duisternis gesproken….) Waarom werd men niet al decennia geleden wakker toen men al
‘journalisten’ en critici tegen het Saoedische bewind opsloot, liet wegrotten in
barbaarse gevangenissen, in het openbaar liet martelen, of zelfs in het openbaar vermoordde, zoals
hiervoor gezegd……???

Waarom
liet en laat het westen Saoedi-Arabië, de Golfstaten, Egypte en
Marokko een genocide begaan in Jemen??? Wel zoals in Nederland een
landelijke actie voeren tegen de hongersnood in Jemen, terwijl ook toen al
duidelijk was dat de voornoemde staten, o.l.v. de VS, met fikse hulp
van Groot-Brittannië, bezig waren met het voltrekken van een genocide
in Jemen…… 

Nogmaals (het kan niet genoeg gezegd worden) alsof een paar jaar geleden al niet duidelijk was dat
er alweer een genocide werd uitgevoerd, waar de wereld de slachtoffers liet (en laat) barsten, ditmaal de sjiieten in Jemen…… Sterker nog: die
hongersnood in Jemen is één van de zaken waarmee die genocide werd en wordt
uitgevoerd, immers deze hongersnood is ontstaan door de blokkades van Jemen, blokkades die door S-A en de VS worden gehandhaafd…….. 

Daarnaast is er door de bombardementen een cholera en difterie uitbraak ontstaan in Jemen en dat was voor cholera al 2 jaar geleden het geval, een uitbraak van deze ziekten die men nog steeds niet onder de knie heeft en daarom eisen deze ziekten dagelijks nog vele slachtoffers…… Ook dat draagt bij aan de genocide….

Weet niet hoe het met jou zit, maar tijdens die giro 555 actie voor Jemen, heb ik het woord genocide niet één keer horen noemen, als het land Saoedi-Arabië werd genoemd was dit veelal in positieve zin, immers deze zou de ‘legale regering’ van Jemen te hulp zijn geschoten tegen de Houthi rebellen (een drogreden)…….. 

Iran
zou terreur verspreiden, echter als er één land is dat terreur
bevordert en NB ook zelf uitvoert in het Midden-Oosten is het
Saoedi-Arabië wel!! Hoe moeilijk is het om iets dergelijks zelf te
onderzoeken en te melden….* Oh ja dom van mij, immers
Saoedi-Arabië en de Golfstaten zijn landen waar het westen dik geld
kan verdienen en daadwerkelijk verdient, tja dat is tegenwoordig zelf
voor de reguliere westerse media belangrijker dan een genocide op
een arm volk in een land van waaruit men niet eens durft te
berichten…….. Die media zijn niet voor niets in handen van plutocraten en grote investeringsgroepen en zoals je weet, die hebben
geen belang bij kritiek die de winsten drukken…….

Over Iran gesproken, dagelijks hoor je op de landelijke zenders van Nederland, Duitsland en Groot-Brittannië de leugen dat de Houthi’s in Jemen worden gesteund door Iran, terwijl daarvoor tot op heden niet één bewijs werd geleverd….. Dat kan ook niet daar Iran niet vecht in Jemen, het enige waaraan Iran ‘zich schuldig heeft gemaakt’, is het leveren van humanitaire hulpgoederen voor de zo geplaagde Jemenitische bevolking…….

Kortom
Saoedi-Arabië is de verspreider van duisternis, een duisternis die
zelfs het zicht in westen meer en meer vertroebelt…….. Laat ik
de hoop uitspreken dat de vreselijke moord op Khashoggi een verandering teweeg zal brengen, men weer duidelijk zicht krijgt en men eindelijk Saoedi-Arabië en
iedereen die dit land blijft steunen zal bestoken met sancties van
het niveau als die van de VS tegen Iran (terwijl nu juist die laatste sancties
volkomen onterecht zijn, sterker nog ze zijn volkomen onrechtmatig en
ongerechtvaardigd!!)

(MEMO) — Saudi
Arabia and key ally Bahrain said on Saturday that Gulf states are
playing a critical role in maintaining stability in the Middle East
by combating Iran’s “vision of darkness”, as Riyadh faces its
worst political crisis in decades, reports Reuters.

Saudi
Arabia is the lynchpin of a US-backed regional bloc against growing
Iranian influence in the Middle East but the murder of journalist
Jamal Khashoggi at its consulate in Istanbul on Oct. 2. has prompted
a global outcry and strained Riyadh’s ties with the West.

“We
are now dealing with two visions in the Middle East. One is a (Saudi)
vision of light … One is an (Iranian) vision of darkness which
seeks to spread sectarianism throughout the region,” Foreign
Minister Adel al-Jubeir told a security summit in Bahrain.

History
tells us that light always wins out against the dark … The question
is how do we defeat them.

US
Defense Secretary Jim Mattis said on Saturday that the killing of
Khashoggi, a prominent critic of Saudi policy, undermined regional
stability and that Washington
would take additional measures against
those responsible after announcing visa bans on 21 suspects in the
case.

“Failure
of any one nation to adhere to international norms and the rule of
law undermines regional stability at a time when it is needed most,”
Mattis told a separate session of the annual Manama Dialogue security
conference.

The
long-planned event has been the focus of greater scrutiny this year
after the killing of Khashoggi, with Jubeir questioned about how the
case would affect Saudi Arabia’s credibility on foreign policy and
security matters.

He
reiterated that Riyadh would bring to justice those responsible for
Khashoggi’s death, saying they would be prosecuted in the kingdom,
a day after Turkey demanded the extradition of 18 Saudis suspected of
involvement in his murder.

Jubeir
said ties between Saudi Arabia, the world’s top oil exporter, and
the United States are “ironclad” and praised what he described as
the “rational, realistic” foreign policy of the current US
administration.

President
Donald Trump has said he wants to get to the bottom of the Khashoggi
case, while also highlighting Riyadh’s role as an ally against Iran
and Islamist militants, as well as a
major purchaser of US arms.

Sunni
Muslim Saudi Arabia and Shi’ite Muslim Iran, which was not
represented in the Manama conference agenda, have long been locked in
a proxy war, competing for regional supremacy from Iraq to Syria and
Lebanon to Yemen.

Trump,
who in May withdraw the United States from a 2015 international
nuclear accord with Tehran, has strongly backed Saudi Arabia in its
efforts to counter Iran’s influence. The next wave of US sanctions
against Iran are due to come into effect on Nov 4.

Iran,
for its part, accuses Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (VAE >> NL) of
funding gunmen who attacked a military parade in Iran last month,
killing 25 people, 12 of them were members of the elite
Revolutionary Guards. Saudi Arabia and the UAE have denied any
involvement. The
Guards accused them of creating “plots and tensions”.

Bahrain’s
foreign minister, Shiekh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, told the
conference the Gulf bloc would remain a “pillar” of regional
security and that a proposed security alliance grouping the United
States, Gulf states, Jordan and Egypt would be activated next year.

Saudi
Arabia, the Emirates, Bahrain and Egypt cut off travel and trade ties
with Qatar in June 2017,
accusing it of backing their archrival, Iran, and supporting
terrorism. Qatar denies the charges and says the boycott impinges on
its sovereignty.

week werden er wereldwijd pro-Assange demonstraties gehouden die gewijd waren aan de hachelijke situatie waarin
Julian Assange zich bevindt, in feite gevangen in de Ecuadoraanse
ambassade in Londen, dit daar hij onmiddellijk zal worden
gearresteerd als hij zich buiten de deur waagt (de ambassade wordt 24
uur per dag in de gaten gehouden door meerdere agenten, wat intussen
al een godsvermogen moet hebben gekost…)…..

Groot-Brittannië hem uitlevert, wacht Assange naar grote
waarschijnlijkheid een levenslange gevangenisstraf, de straf die hem
maximaal kan worden opgelegd, gezien de situatie in de VS is
het inderdaad zeer waarschijnlijk dat deze straf hem daadwerkelijk zal worden
opgelegd…..

Straf
voor het uitvoeren van zijn taak als journalist, het controleren van
de overheid en dat in de breedste zin van het woord…. Door
WikiLeaks hebben klokkenluiders in de VS een medium gekregen waar
zij, na hun meestal al meerdere malen tevergeefs gedane pogingen om een eind te maken aan misstanden die zij tijdens hun werk tegenkomen, deze zaken (of zaak) openbaar te maken. 


Misstanden waar ofwel hun meerderen geen belangstelling voor hebben, daar dit hun positie in gevaar zou kunnen brengen, dan wel dat hen door die meerderen te verstaan wordt gegeven de mond te houden, daar hen anders ontslag en/of een rechtszaak wacht…….. Natuurlijk zijn er voldoende klokkenluiders die weten dat de enige mogelijkheid is anoniem een zaak direct in de media te brengen, daar overleg met meerderen over een misstand op zeker tot ontslag zal leiden…..

feite is de zaak tegen Assange een zaak tegen alle overheidsdienaren
die met grote regelmaat fikse misstanden zien en tegen alle
journalisten die nog wel hun werk doen zoals dat bedoeld is voor die functie….
Lullig genoeg zijn dat niet de journalisten van de reguliere media,
die ofwel gevangen zitten in het harnas van de overheid, ‘journalisten’ van de zogenaamde publieke omroepen en de ‘journalisten’ van de andere
media die in het bezit zijn van welgestelde personen (zoals hufter Murdoch), dan wel grote
mediabedrijven die aan de beurs genoteerd staan en die geen belang
hebben bij kritiek op de overheid of het bedrijfsleven, beter gezegd
die er geen belang bij hebben dat bijvoorbeeld het inhumane, ijskoude
neoliberalisme wordt bekritiseerd (met feiten!)……….

In
Nederland hebben we het vermaledijde klokkenluidershuis, en dat is verworden tot één grot
fiasco, waar dit huis zelfs na 2 jaar niet één zaak heeft afgerond, laat staan dat er zaken openbaar werden gemaakt…… (waardoor misstanden blijven bestaan…) Het smerige aan dit
klokkenluidershuis is dat mensen die zich aangemeld hebben, met
niemand, zelfs niet met huisgenoten of familie mogen praten over deze
zaak…… Terwijl klokkenluiders meestal al een paar jaar hebben
gewacht voor zij zaken in de openbaarheid willen brengen, of ze zijn met de kop tegen de muur gelopen bij hun
directie of leiding en er derhalve alle belang bij hebben dat hun zaak juist snel in de
openbaarheid komt, dit (nogmaals) om een eind te maken aan misstanden, ze zijn immers niet voor niets klokkenluider……….

Uiteraard
is de democratie gebaat bij een site als WikiLeaks, het is juist in
ons aller belang dat bijvoorbeeld corruptie en dergelijke zaken aan
het licht komen, zodat er een eind aan die corruptie kan worden
gemaakt…… Het lullige is dat het overgrote deel van de westerse
politici bijna dagelijks de mond vol hebben over bestrijding van
corruptie en voorheen over transparantie, maar er in werkelijkheid niets aan willen doen en zaken zo gesloten mogelijk willen houden….. (waar nog opgemerkt dient te worden dat het woord ‘transparantie’ in tegenstelling tot een paar jaar geleden nog maar zelden wordt gebruikt door die politici….)

overgrote deel van de reguliere (massa-) media die berichtten over WikiLeaks en over Assange toen hij net in de Ecuadoraanse ambassade was gevlucht, spraken de VS overheden na, vooral de ‘uiterst betrouwbare’, CIA….. Waar deze terreurorganisatie stelde dat er
uiterst gevaarlijke informatie was gelekt en dat daardoor honderden
zo niet duizenden mensen in gevaar zouden zijn gekomen….. 


Deze
media deden niet eens moeite de gelekte documenten te lezen en te zien
of de CIA en de VS regering wel de waarheid spreken…. Zeker gezien het feit dat de CIA heel vaak liegt, wat ook geldt voor de regering van de VS, nu de Trump administratie. Nee, voor de reguliere westerse media en het grootste deel van de westerse politici geldt dat de staat en de CIA hebben gesproken, dus ‘klaar en waar……’

Het
is dan ook ronduit een schande dat zogenaamde journalisten meehuilen
in het meer dan valse CIA koor…….

Last
week, rallies in support of Julian Assange were held around the
world. We participated in two #AssangeUnity events seeking to
#FreeAssange in Washington, DC.

This
is the beginning of a new phase of the campaign to stop the
persecution of Julian Assange and allow him to leave the Ecuadorian
Embassy in London without the threat of being arrested in the UK or
facing prosecution by the United States.


The
Assange Case Is a Linchpin for Freedom of the Press and Freedom of
Information in the 21st Century

The
threat of prosecution against Julian Assange for his work as
editor-in-chief of WikiLeaks will be a key to defining what Freedom
of the Press means in the 21st Century. Should people be allowed to
know the truth if their government is corrupt, violating the law or
committing war crimes? Democracy cannot exist when people are misled
by a concentrated corporate media that puts forth a narrative on
behalf of the government and big business.

This
is not the first time that prosecution of a journalist will define
Freedom of the Press. Indeed, the roots of Freedom of the Press in
the United States go back to the
prosecution of John Peter Zenger, a
publisher who was accused of libel in 1734 for publishing articles
critical of the British royal governor, William Cosby. Zenger was
held in prison for eight months awaiting trial. In the trial, his
defense took its case directly to the jury.

For
five hundred years, Britain
had made it illegal to publish “any slanderous News” that
may cause “discord” between the king and his people. Zenger’s
defense argued that he had published the truth about Cosby and
therefore did not commit a crime. His lawyer “argued that telling
the truth did not cause governments to fall. Rather, he argued,
‘abuse of power’ caused governments to fall.” The jury heard
the argument, recessed and in ten minutes returned with a not guilty
verdict.

The
same issue is presented by Julian Assange — publishing the truth is
not a crime. WikiLeaks, with Assange as its editor and publisher,
redefined reporting in the 21st Century by giving
people the ability to be whistleblowers to reveal the abuses of
government and big business.
People anonymously send documents to WikiLeaks via the Internet and
then after reviewing and authenticating them, WikiLeaks publishes
them. The documents sometimes reveal serious crimes, which has
resulted in Assange being threatened with a secret indictment for
espionage that could keep him incarcerated for the rest of his life.

This
puts the Assange case at the
forefront of 21st Century journalism as
he is democratizing the media by giving people the power to know the
truth not reported, or falsely reported, by the corporate media.
Breaking elite control over the media narrative is a serious threat
to their power because information is power. And, with the internet
and the ability of every person to act as a media outlet through
social and independent media, control of the narrative is moving
toward the people.

WikiLeaks
is filling a void with trust
in the corporate media at record lows.
A recent Gallup Poll found only
32% trust the media.
There has been a significant drop
in newspaper circulation and revenue,
an ongoing
decline since 1980.
Also, fewer
people rely on television for news.

In
this environment, the Internet-based news is becoming more dominant
and WikiLeaks is a particular threat to media monopolization by the
elites. Research is showing that independent
and social media are having an impact on people’s opinions.

The
threats to Julian Assange are occurring when dissent
is under attack,
particularly media
dissent; the FBI
has a task force to monitor social media.
The attack on net
neutrality, Google using algorithms to prevent
searches for alternative
media and Facebook controlling the
what people see are
all part of the attack on the democratized media.


The
Astounding Impact of WikiLeaks’ Reporting

The
list of WikiLeaks’ revelations has
become astounding.
The release of emails
from Hillary Clinton, her
presidential campaign,
and the Democratic
National Committee had
a major impact on the election. People saw the truth of Clinton’s
connections to Wall Street,
her two-faced
politics of
having a public view and a private view as well as the DNC’s
efforts to undermine the campaign of Sen. Bernie Sanders.
People saw the truth and the truth hurt Hillary Clinton and the
Democrats.

Among
the most famous documents published were those provided by Chelsea
Manning on Iraq, Afghanistan,
the Guantanamo
Prison and
the US
State Department.
The Collateral
Murder video
among the Manning Iraq war documents shows US soldiers in an Apache
helicopter gunning down a group of innocent men, including two
Reuters employees, a photojournalist, and his driver, killing 16 and
wounding two children. Millions have viewed the video showing that
when a van pulled up to evacuate the wounded, the soldiers
again opened fire.
A soldier says, “Oh yeah, look at those dead bastards.”

Other
significant intelligence leaks followed, i.e., Vault
7,
documents on the Central Intelligence Agency’s activities,
and Vault
8, which
included source code on CIA malware activities.

WikiLeaks
has also published documents on other countries, e.g. WikiLeaks
published a series of documents
on Russian spying. WikiLeaks
has been credited by many with helping to spark the Tunisian
Revolution which
led to the Arab Spring, e.g., showing the widespread corruption
of the 23-year rule of the Ben Ali. Foreign
Policy reported that
“the candor of the cables released by WikiLeaks did more for Arab
democracy than decades of backstage U.S. diplomacy.” WikiLeaks’
publications provided
democracy activists in Egypt with information needed to spark
protests and provided
background that
explained the Egyptian uprising. Traditional media publications
like the New
York Times relied
on WikiLeaks to
analyze the causes of the uprising.

WikiLeaks
informed the Bahrain public about their government’s cozy
relationship with the US, describing a $5
billion joint-venture with Occidental Petroleum and $300
million in US military sales and
how the US
Navy is the foundation of
Bahrain’s national security.

John
Pilger describes WikiLeaks’ documents, writing,
“No investigative journalism in my lifetime can equal the
importance of what WikiLeaks has done in calling rapacious power to
account.”


Assange
Character Assassination And Embassy Imprisonment

Julian
Assange made powerful enemies in governments around the world,
corporate media, and big business because he burst false narratives
with the truth. As a result, governments fought back, including the
United States, Great Britain, and Sweden, which has led to Assange
being trapped in the embassy of Ecuador in London for six years.

The
root of the incarceration were allegations in Sweden. Sweden’s
charges against Assange were initially
dropped by
the chief prosecutor, two
weeks later they found a prosecutor to
pursue a rape investigation. One of the women had CIA
connections and
bragged about her relationship with Assange in tweets
she tried to erase. She even published a
7-step program for legal revenge against lovers. The actions
of the women do not seem to show rape or
any kind of abuse. One woman held a party with him after the
encounter and another went out to eat with him. In November
2016, Assange
was interviewed by Swedish prosecutors for
four hours at the Ecuadorian embassy. In December 2016, Assange
published tweets
showing his innocence and the sex was consensual.
Without making a statement on Assange’s guilt, the Swedish
investigators dropped the charges in
May 2017. The statute of limitations for Swedish charges will be up
in 2020.

As John
Pilger pointed out, “Katrin
Axelsson and Lisa Longstaff of Women Against Rape summed it up when
they wrote, ‘The allegations against [Assange] are a smokescreen
behind which a number of governments are trying to clamp down on
WikiLeaks for having audaciously revealed to the public their secret
planning of wars and occupations with their attendant rape, murder,
and destruction… The authorities care so little about violence
against women that they manipulate rape allegations at will.’”

Assange
is still trapped in the embassy as he would
be arrested for violating his bail six years ago.
But, the real threat to Assange is the possibility of a secret
indictment against him in the United States for espionage. US and
British officials have refused to tell Assange’s lawyers whether
there was a sealed indictment or a sealed extradition order against
him. Former CIA Director, now Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo
has described WikiLeaks as a non-state hostile intelligence
service and described
his actions as not protected by
the First Amendment. In April 2017, CNN
reported,
“US authorities have prepared charges to seek the arrest of
WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.” The Obama Justice Department
determined it would be difficult to bring charges against Assange
because WikiLeaks wasn’t alone in publishing documents stolen by
Manning but the Trump DOJ believes he could be charged as an
accomplice with Edward Snowden.

When
the president campaigned, Trump
said he loved WikiLeaks and
regularly touted their disclosures. But, in April 2017, Attorney
General Jeff Sessions
said that Assange’s arrest is a “priority.”


Time
To Stop the Persecution of Julian Assange

The
smearing of Assange sought to discredit him and undermine the
important journalism of WikiLeaks. Caitlin
Johnstone writes that
they smear him because “they can kill all sympathy for him and his
outlet, it’s as good for their agendas as actually killing him.”

Even
with this character assassination many people still support Assange.
This was seen during the #Unity4J
online vigil,
which saw the participation of activists, journalists, whistleblowers
and filmmakers calling for the end of Assange’s solitary
confinement and his release. This was followed a week later by 20
protests around the world calling for Assange’s release.

Julian
Assange has opened journalism’s democracy door; the power to report
is being redistributed, government employees and corporate
whistleblowers have been empowered and greater transparency is
becoming a reality. The people of the United States should demand
that Assange not face prosecution and embrace a 21st Century
democratized media that provides greater transparency and accurate
information about what government and business interests are doing.
Prosecuting a news organization for publishing the truth, should be
rejected and Assange should be freed.

De
bliksem is de Saoedische ‘minister’ van buitenlandse zaken (bij de gratie van MBS*), Adel al-Jabeir in de maffe bol geslagen. De
idioot stelde dat Qatar de kosten moet dragen voor de illegale
aanwezigheid van de VS in Syrië, daarnaast moet Qatar zelf troepen
sturen naar Syrië……. Aan welke kant die troepen dan moeten
vechten maakte al-Jabeir niet bekend, immers Saoedi-Arabië betaalt behalve IS, alle terreurgroepen in Syrië en heeft dat zelfs een tijdlang voor IS
gedaan…. Bovendien heeft S-A (zoals de VS) deze terreurgroepen van wapens en
voertuigen voorzien……

Al-Jabeir
liet weten dat wanneer Qatar dit niet doet, de VS Qatar niet langer
zal steunen en het land binnen een week zal vallen (door een inval
van Saoedi-Arabië……)…..

Professor Madawi al-Rasheed stelde terecht de vraag welke Golfstaat niet wordt beschermd door de VS, of welke Golfstaat niet wordt bewapend door de VS, of welke Golfstaat niet door de VS wordt geleid, of die niet is leeggeroofd door de VS??

Dan nog:
hoe durft deze losgeslagen al-Jabeir internationaal nog iets op te

Qatar
Should Pay for US Troops in Syria or Risk Downfall: Saudi Minister

(MEE) — The
US government will stop protecting Qatar if the country doesn’t
fund the American military venture in Syria, Saudi Arabia’s foreign
minister warned on
Tuesday.

“Qatar
has to pay for the US military’s presence in Syria and send its
military forces there before the US president cancels the American
protection of Qatar, which has an American military base on its
grounds,” Adel al-Jubeir said in a statement.

Without
American protection – or more specifically Al-Udeid, a key US
military base in Qatar which hosts 10,000 troops – Al-Jubeir said
Doha’s government “would fall in less than a week”.

The
foreign minister’s comments come a week after Saudi Arabia said it
would be willing to deploy troops to Syria as part of US-led efforts
to stabilise the country.

The
Trump administration has said it is seeking to assemble an Arab
force, including Saudi Arabia and

the
United Arab Emirates, to replace US troops and pay for the
stabilisation and reconstruction of areas captured from the Islamic
State militant group.

But
analysts said Jubeir’s recommendation was politically motivated and
unlikely to happen, with one calling it “a silly, silly
suggestion”.

“How
could Qatar pay for the United States when they are under a
blockade?” Madawi Al-Rasheed, a visiting professor at the Middle
East Centre at LSE, told Middle East Eye.

“And
why pick on Qatar? Saudi Arabia were the ones who sponsored
discussions to bring Syrian opposition under one umbrella against
President Assad.”

She
added: “This is just an admission of failure. It’s just a silly,
silly suggestion. It comes out of desperation to implicate Qatar in
Syria after Saudi Arabia were the ones funding and encouraging groups
there in the first place,” she said.

Davidson, a reader in Middle East politics at Durham University, said
that the Saudi foreign minister was “trying to throw the hot potato
onto Doha’s lap”.

“Saudi
Arabia and Qatar are both grappling with having to survive a new
and more adept US administration that is keen to extract greater
concessions from its ‘Gulf allies’ in return for continuing
protection and international diplomatic support,” he said.

Neither
Saudi Arabia nor Qatar want to be involved in Syria “as it would
likely involve not only direct confrontation with
Damascus-Tehran-Moscow axis forces, but also entanglement with some
of the same extremist groups they themselves, or at least many of
their wealthy private citizens, have recently funded and weaponised,”
Davidson added.

Saudi
Arabia and Qatar have been at loggerheads for years, but particularly
since last June when the kingdom, along with the United Arab
Emirates, Bahrain and Egypt, cut diplomatic and trade ties with Doha,
accusing the country of supporting terrorism. Qatar has denied those
claims.

The
emirate’s only land border was closed and all flights were banned
to and from the country.

As
a result of the blockade, foreign financing and resident private
sector deposits reportedly fell by $40bn, but that was offset by cash
injections from the central bank and Qatar’s sovereign wealth fund,
according to an International Monetary Fund (IMF) report released in
March.

The
IMF said the blockade’s impact was “transitory” because new
trade routes were quickly established and growth remained positive.

Madawi
added: “Regardless [of the blockade], I think this is a trap for
Qatar. Saudi Arabia and its allies have accused Qatar of terrorism,
so under what mandate would Qatari troops go into Syria? And which
side would they be on? The side of the rebels or of the regime?”

De Israëlische stafchef en moordenaar Gadi Eisenkot liet afgelopen
maandag op de universiteit van Herzliya weten dat Iran bezig is haar
sjiitische invloed uit te breiden en bezig is een ‘sjiitische halve maan’ te
vestigen, waarbij het haar invloed wil doen gelden in Irak, Syrie,
Libanon, Bahrein en Jemen…….. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Wat een
fantast, denkt deze psychopathische moordenaar werkelijk dat bijvoorbeeld Assad na alle gevechten
die zijn land heeft moeten voeren tegen door de VS, Saoedi-Arabië,
Egypte en Israël gecreëerde terreur van IS en Al Qaida (en andere ‘gematigde rebellen’) in Syrië, zijn

ik vrees dat het dit jaar gigantisch mis zal gaan in het
Midden-Oosten, op zeker in Libanon, Jemen (al is de ramp daar al
bijna een jaar gaande) en waarschijnlijk in Syrië (en Iran)…… Laten
we hopen dat ik het helemaal mis heb.

Israeli Chief of Staff hinted yesterday at the possibility of
launching a full-scale war against Syria to prevent the imposition of
Shia hegemony in Israel’s neighbour. Lieutenant-General Gadi
Eisenkot made his comments at the University of Herzliya and accused
the Iranian government of working to form a “Shia crescent” to
spread its influence across Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Bahrain and
the Gaza Strip.

“In
recent months, investment in the Palestinian arena has also grown,”
explained Eisenkot, “driven by a desire to influence it by
increasing the annual funding in the Gaza Strip for Hamas and Islamic
Jihad movements to $100 million.”

Citing
data from Israeli intelligence, the senior officer said Syria
currently hosts about 2,000 Iranian advisers and 8,000 fighters from
Lebanon’s Hezbollah. There are also 10,000 militants under Iranian
influence from countries such as Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan.

“We
cannot ignore that Hezbollah, Shia militias and Iran find themselves
on the victorious side of Syria alongside President Bashar Al-Assad,”
Eisenkot insisted. “We are making military and international
efforts in other areas to prevent Iran from establishing its presence
in Syria… and an Iranian foothold in Syria would be a negative
thing for both Israel and Syria itself as well as Europe.” Israel,
he suggested, may become a member of a very broad coalition that will
aim to prevent the imposition of Shia hegemony in Syria.

The
Israeli government has accused Iran repeatedly of being the most
important international force to support terrorism and destabilise
the Middle East. This view is shared by the United States as well as
Saudi Arabia and its Arab allies.

Israel Keeps Bombing Syria and Nobody Is Doing Anything About It

Qatar boycot ingegeven door Jared Kushner……

De schoonzoon van Trump, Jared Kushner is de grote gangmaker achter de boycot ingesteld op Qatar door Saoedi-Arabië, Egypte, de Verenigde Arabische Emiraten (VAE) en Bahrein.

Topgraaier Kushner kocht met een enorme berg geleend geld, op het verkeerde moment (in 2007) een wolkenkrabber in New York. Nadat de crisis in 2008 losbarstte, moest Kushner een flink deel van het gebouw verkopen. Om de rest van de schuld te kunnen betalen, zocht hij geld in o.a. Qatar dat hem een lening van 500 miljoen dollar in het vooruitzicht stelde.

Sjeik Hamad bin Jassim al-Thani (HBJ) uit Qatar wilde hem 500 miljoen dollar lenen, als hij inderdaad zou worden gekozen als adviseur van het Witte Huis. Ook een Chinees staatsbedrijf wilde investeren in de wolkenkrabber. Echter nadat Kushner zijn adviseursaanstelling kreeg, trok het Chinese bedrijf zich terug vanwege vermeende belangenverstrengeling.

Als reactie op die beslissing, trok ook de sjeik uit Qatar zich terug uit het ‘project’.

The Intercept meldde dat Kushner het Witte Huis adviseerde op te treden tegen Qatar, hoewel er geen hard bewijs is, dat e.e.a. met de beslissing van de sjeik te maken had, is het wel duidelijk dat het één met het ander te maken heeft…… Met andere woorden: ook hier heeft de VS de lont in het kruitvat gestoken…..

Kushner ‘Sought $500 Million From Qatar for Skyscraper Bailout’

(MEE) — Jared
Kushner, the son-in-law to US President Donald Trump and a senior
White House adviser, sought a $500m investment from Qatar for a New
York skyscraper shortly before the diplomatic crisis between Qatar
and a host of other countries, according to an Intercept
article on
Monday.

The
account raises suspicions that Trump’s foreign policy is related to
the family’s business interests.

Citing
unidentified sources that reportedly had knowledge of the proposed
bailout, the Intercept reported that Kushner tried to shore up
funding from Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim al-Thani (HBJ) after the
skyscraper’s value plummeted from the real estate crisis in 2008.
Kushner had bought the building in 2007 – when he was 26 – for
$500m out of his family’s pocket and $1.3bn in borrowed money.

However,
the real estate crisis forced Kushner to sell off a sizeable chunk of
their office space in the building as part of a financial package;
but in order to pay back those who originally borrowed money, he must
have $1.3bn by early next year. According to a New
York Magazine report,
if Kushner “can’t find some new scheme for refinancing and
redeveloping the property by then, [he] will have cost his family
half a billion dollars”.

After
the election, investors appeared to be willing to bail out Kushner’s
skyscraper fiasco.

HBJ
reportedly agreed to invest $500m in the severely debt-ridden
property as long as Kushner was able to raise the rest of the money,
which he could do when he became a senior White House adviser,
according to the Intercept article.

A
Chinese company with ties to members of the country’s ruling party
was also willing to shore up $400m in March, but had decided to back
out in March over a “conflict of interest” that consisted of “a
company with ties to the Chinese government going into [big] business
with the family of a senior adviser to the American one”.

When
the Chinese company exited, so did HBJ.

Months
later in June, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and
Bahrain cut off all air, land and sea links to Qatar. Trump sided
with the four-nation coalition, saying that the tiny petro-chemical
nation funded terrorism.

The
Intercept reported that Kushner played a key role in the White
House’s hardline stance against Qatar, but it did not establish a
link whether Kushner’s role had anything to do with the failed
skyscraper bailout.

Van Ojik: we moeten uiterst voorzichtig te werk gaan in Irak, dus ‘voorzichtig bombarderen’, om geen burgerslachtoffers te maken……….. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!

GroenLinks oplichter van Ojik was vanmiddag op Radio1, bij Argos, in gesprek met namaakjournalist van Weezel. Hier verdedigde van Ojik de steun, die GroenLinks afgelopen donderdag aan de F16 missie naar Irak / Syrië gaf. Van Ojik sprak afgelopen woensdag nog met een aantal prominente GroenLinksers over deze zaak en er was wel tegenstand, maar lang niet zo groot als bij de trainingsmissie voor de religieuze Afghaanse politie in Kunduz. Zoals van Ojik erover sprak, zou je bijna denken, dat hij een congres met alle leden, over deze zaak voerde. Dat bombarderen moet uiterst voorzichtig, zodat je geen burgerslachtoffers maakt, aldus de enorme volksverlakker. Het wezenloze stel, dus zowel van Ojik, als van Weezel hadden het over het bombarderen van de IS olieraffinaderij. De twee zijn zo goed op de hoogte, goed voorbereid dus, dat ze niet eens weten, dat de VS de olievelden, die IS beheert, allang heeft gebombardeerd. De enige doelen die overblijven, zijn de steden waar IS zich ophoudt en daar wil van Ojik niet, of uiterst voorzichtig bombarderen…….. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!

Kees Kalkman, een oude GL prominent, die tegen deze missie is, stelde dat het hem o.a. tegenstaat, dat landen als Saoedi-Arabie, Qatar en Bahrein, allen dictatoriaal geregeerde landen (in S-Arabië onthoofdt men mensen als vorm van doodstraf…..), deel uitmaken van de coalitie tegen IS, terwijl deze landen ook hebben meegeholpen, IS groot te maken*…… Maar dat pareerde van Ojik, door te stellen, dat het belangrijker is, dat landen uit de regio meedoen…….. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Waar van Ojik daarna benadrukte, dat Kalkman geen pacifist is……… Wat dat met zijn uitlating te maken heeft weet ik niet, blijkbaar hebben alleen echte pacifisten wat te zeggen in GroenLinks, nadat de partij alle eerdere PSP’ers (de pacifisten in GroenLinks) de partij uit heeft gewerkt………

Over eerdere acties wilde van Ojik niets zeggen, vooral niet over de laatste missie, die volksverlakker en grootgraaier Rosenmöller steunde, in voormalig Joegoslavië; logisch dat van Ojik hier niets over wilde zeggen, immers de reden voor de bombardementen door de NAVO op Kosovo, waren gebaseerd op leugens………

Ondanks dat van Ojik aangaf, twijfels te hebben, bij het nut van bombardementen, stelde hij wel, dat ‘we’ nu niet anders kunnen, “we kunnen niet de andere kant opkijken” en “we moeten nu iets doen, voordat het te laat is”,  aldus deze mislukte schoenenpoetser, die het eigenlijk verder ook niet weet, wat dan weer logisch is, als je over zo’n belangrijke zaak, die al wekenlang in de media is, niet eens de feiten kent……

‘We’ gaan opbouwwerk verrichten in Irak, aldus van Ojik, daar hebben ‘we’ over gesproken in de Kamer, ook al kan er voorlopig geen sprake van opbouwwerk zijn……… ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Nee, we moeten eerst nog de boel goed platgooien, idioot!!!

Van Ojik had het gore lef, de partijen te noemen waaruit GroenLinks is opgebouwd, althans hij noemde de achterliggende ‘ideologieën’: pacifisten, communisten en christenen, terwijl de vertegenwoordigers van de eerste twee partijen, de PSP en de CPN allang zijn uitgerangeerd……. Van Ojik noemde de PPR niet (tja, wat voor ‘ideologie’ moet je daaraan hangen: macht en geld zoeken op een ‘duurzame manier…??’), terwijl dat m.n. de partij is, die ‘goed’ door GroenLinks wordt vertegenwoordigd….

Jezus wat een oplichter!!!

Eén ding is zeker, met de huidige acties tegen IS, waar Nederland, nu dus ook aan mee gaat doen, zal het conflict in Irak (en Syrië) alleen maar groeien, net als IS………

* Ook Nederland heeft daar goed aan meegeholpen, met de politieke en militaire steun voor de illegale oorlog, die de VS in 2003 tegen Irak begon, een oorlog die meer dan 1 miljoen mensen het leven kostte, over zware, ongebreidelde terreur gesproken………
