Biden neemt bestuurslid van wapenfabrikant Raytheon als minister van ‘defensie’: garantie op bloedvergieten

Eerder werd voorspeld dat Joe Biden, de gekozen president van de VS
voor de komende 4 jaar, de bloeddorstige psychopaat Michele Flournoy
zou benoemen als minister op de post van defensie* (lees: van oorlog),
echter de keus schijnt volgens de reguliere (massa) media in de VS te
zijn gevallen op de gekleurde ex-generaal Lloyd J. Austin III.

Niet
dat de keus een volkomen ander beleid op defensie (lees:
oorlogsvoering) zal worden ingezet met Austin, daar ook deze figuur
een gewelddadige psychopaat is, die zijn sporen in het bloedvergieten
ruim heeft verdiend, zo heeft hij o.a. als opperhoofd van Central
Command (CENTCOM) actief gelobbyd om de ‘rebellen’ in Syrië te bewapenen, ‘zodat ze
ISIS konden bevechten’ (‘rebellen’ ofwel psychopathische moordenaars,
verkrachters, martelbeulen en slavenhandelaren)….. Strijden tegen
ISIS? De zogenaamde rebellen waren minstens zo gewelddadig als
terreurgroep ISIS en de opzet van de VS was van meet af aan dat deze
‘rebellen’ juist tegen het bewind van Assad zouden vechten, de
belangrijkste reden voor de VS om een opstand in Syrië te
organiseren die had moeten leiden tot de afzetting van Assad…… De
VS heeft zelfs groepen van ISIS strijders (en andere terreurgroepen) vervoerd van Libië naar Syrië (met een tussenstop in Irak, waarna ze met wapens, munitie en rollend oorlogstuig over de grens met Syrië werden begeleid….)……

Verder
stond Austin achter het plan om VS militairen te vrijwaren van
vervolging voor het begaan van oorlogsmisdaden in Afghanistan…..
Daarnaast heeft hij een belangrijke rol gespeeld bij de illegale
oorlog van de VS tegen Irak en is hij lid van een hedgefonds dat
investeerde in defensiecontractanten als de eerder genoemde Flournoy
en de komenden minister van buitenlandse zaken onder Biden,
oorlogshitser Tony Blinken……

Misschien
wel het meest belachelijke is het feit dat Austin bestuurslid is van
oorlogstuig fabrikant Raytheon, dat jaarlijks miljoenen spendeert om
te lobbyen bij de VS regering voor contracten en zoveel mogelijk
oorlogen……

Caitlin Johnstone die het hieronder opgenomen artikel schreef komt weer
lekker sarcastisch uit de hoek en stelt voor om gewoon meteen de
firma Raytheon aan te stellen als minister van oorlog, immers
bedrijven zijn in de VS rechtspersonen….. Ze suggereert meteen om
dit ook te doen met Goldman Sachs als minister van financiën, Exxon
Mobile als hoofd van EPA (een organisatie die gaat over
milieuvervuiling in de grootste zin van dat woord), Amazon als
directeur van de CIA en tot slot Google als directeur van National
Intelligence (die gaat over de vele geheime diensten die de VS ‘rijk
is’).

Terecht
merkt Caitlin op dat het een schande is dat oorlogswinstmakers die
pleiten voor meer geweld en bloedvergieten op dergelijke posities
worden gezet (de vorige minister van defensie werkte ook al voor Raytheon
en was top-lobbyist in Washington als vicepresident voor
regeringsrelaties)…… Deze schoften op dergelijk hoge posities in
een regering zijn gebaat bij zoveel mogelijk oorlog en
bloedvergieten, ofwel ook met Austin zal de VS zich te buiten gaan
aan grootschalige terreur die gezien de (recente) geschiedenis garant staat voor massamoorden, verkrachting, marteling, diefstal en grootschalige vernieling
(en dat in landen waar noch de VS, noch haar NAVO-bondgenoten, ook maar iets te zoeken hebben….)…..

The
mass media are reporting
that the Biden camp has selected former general Lloyd J. Austin
III to be the next secretary of defense, assuaging
fears
among antiwar activists that the position would go to bloodthirsty
psychopath Michele Flournoy as
commonly predicted.

As
has become the standard ritual for Biden’s cabinet picks, the mass
media are holding a parade to celebrate the fact that Austin would be
the first Black chief of the US war machine while virtually ignoring
the murderous agendas he has facilitated throughout his career. As
head of Central Command Austin actively
campaigned
to resurrect the Pentagon’s spectacularly failed program of trying to
arm “rebels” in Syria to fight ISIS, and in 2014 he backed
immunity for US troops
from war crimes prosecutions by the government of Afghanistan. He
helped
spearhead the Iraq invasion,
and he is a member
of the same private equity fund which invests in defense contractors
as Flournoy and Biden’s warmongering pick for Secretary of State Tony
Blinken.

Austin
is also a member
of the board of directors
for the war profiteering corporation Raytheon, where he went
immediately after his military career. Raytheon spends
millions of dollars a year
actively lobbying the US government to advance policies which are
beneficial to the multibillion-dollar
arms manufacturing giant, which of course means lobbying for military
expansionism and interventionism. The previous Secretary of Defense
Mark Esper also worked
for Raytheon,
working for years as one
of the top corporate lobbyists
in DC under the position “Vice
President for Government Relations“.

And
you know what? I say why not.

Seriously,
why not? Why shouldn’t the head of the US murder machine come from a
corporation which has made
billions
of dollars facilitating
war crimes
in Yemen? Why shouldn’t the most depraved and bloodthirsty regime on
this planet have its depravity and bloodshed advanced by a
professional war profiteer? The mass military slaughter of the US and
its allies has only ever been about power and profit, so why not be
honest about it?

Hell,
why stop there? Why not make Raytheon itself the Secretary of State?
Didn’t the Supreme Court rule that corporations are people anyway?
Make Raytheon the Secretary of Defense, make Goldman Sachs the
Secretary Treasurer, make ExxonMobil the head of the EPA, make Amazon
the CIA Director and Google the Director of National Intelligence.
Then you’d have a completely honest face on the head of the US
empire.

It’s
absolutely insane that our world is being dominated by war profiteers
who actively push for more violence and bloodshed because they make
money selling the weapons used to perpetrate it. It’s no less evil
than if plutocrats were cruising the world murdering people and
selling their skins for money; the same number of people would be
killed for the same profit incentive, yet people who would recoil in
horror at that idea pay no mind to the fact that functionally the
same thing is happening with corporate powers like Raytheon.

The
only difference between the US war machine and a band of armed crooks
murdering people for money is that the US war machine does it at a
far greater scale. As long as that’s going on there’s no reason to
pretend otherwise. Hopefully people start looking past the smiley
faced mask of the empire and begin opening their eyes to the
blood-spattered face beneath it.

Chinese antipropaganda: de ontwikkeling van supersoldaten…… ha! ha! ha! ha!

Alsof
je een slecht sciencefiction stripboek leest: de angstzaaierij in de
VS dat China bezig is om supersoldaten te ontwikkelen….. Ken
Dilanian, een reporter van MSNBC, stelde dat ‘wat we nu weten is dat
de topambtenaren van geheime diensten bewijzen hebben dat China, de
‘nieuwe’ officiële slechte macht voor het westen, bezig is met
biologische experimenten op haar militairen om hun
gevechtscapaciteiten te vergroten’.

CIA
handlanger Dilanian vervolgde met te zeggen dat hij eerst wel
sceptisch stond toen opzichte van deze claim, maar nadat hij zocht in
de denktank wereld van militaire experts*, hij erachter kwam dat deze
experts e.e.a. hebben bestudeerd en erover hebben geschreven en
voldoende bewijs hebben dat Chinese wetenschappers bezig zijn om met
biotechnologie toe te passen op het slagveld……. Daarna geeft deze
‘reporter voorbeelden van soldaten die voldoende hebben aan 3 uur
slaap’, en sluipschutters die een keer zover kunnen kijken dan de
gemiddelde mens…… (de zogenaamde bewijzen zijn natuurlijk niet voor de openbaarheid geschikt….) Waarna hij nog op moest merken dat wij het in
het westen onethisch vinden om met de genen van gezonde mensen te
experimenteren…… ha! ha! ha! ha!

Zo
de waard is vertrouwt deze de gasten: alles ‘wat god verboden heeft’
doet men in de VS, zoals het zoeken naar een besmettelijke ziekte die
ingezet kan worden op het slagveld, dan wel tegen de bevolking van
een ‘vijandig land…’ Geheel toevallig werd het grote VS militaire
laboratorium van Fort Detrick vorig jaar juli gesloten, daar er een gevaarlijk gemanipuleerd virus was
ontsnapt…..** Een aantal maanden voor de uitbraak van het
Coronavirus…… Intussen draait dit laboratorium weer volop en
zoekt men o.a. naar dat soort virussen om als wapen in te zetten…… (hoe gewetenloos en krankzinnig kunnen wetenschappers zijn??!!!) Bovendien als er één
land is dat onethisch onderzoek doet naar genetische manipulatie van
levende wezens is het de VS wel!!

Terug
naar Dilanian: hij refereerde naar een artikel van John Ratcliffe,
hoofd ‘National
Intelligence’ (ofwel deze figuur gaat over alle geheime diensten die de VS
‘rijk’ is), gepubliceerd
in de Wall Street Journal, waarin hij in koude oorlogstaal
waarschuwde voor China…. Deze Ratcliffe heeft een boek geschreven
met de titel: ‘China is National Security Threat No 1’, een boek met
een prent waarop een vervaarlijke rode slang is te zien in de vorm van de Chinese
muur die de wereld in een wurggreep houdt……. (vergeet niet dat figuren
als Ratcliffe vijanden nodig hebben, immers als die er niet meer zijn,
zal een fiks deel van de geheime diensten worden uitgekleed en je
weet het: oorlog is voor de VS een vorm van industrie, waarmee vooral voor de grote bedrijven enorme kapitalen
zijn te verdienen)

In
het artikel van Caitlin Johnstone, waarvan het voorgaande het begin
is, stelt ze dat de VS China afschildert als een macht die de wereld
wil overheersen….. ha! ha! ha! ha! Nee ik lach niet om Caitlin,
maar om dergelijke nonsens die men in de VS werkelijk gelooft,
terwijl er niet een flinter aan bewijs wordt meegeleverd en de claims
worden gedaan door geheime diensten die vooral bekend staan om hun
enorme leugens die alleen deze eeuw al aan meer dan 2,5 miljoen
mensen het leven hebben gekost….. En dat van een land dat meer dan
800 militaire bases heeft over de wereld en haar hand niet omdraait
om een illegale oorlog te beginnen dan wel een coup te organiseren in
landen die niet naar haar pijpen dansen…… De leugen dat
het bij de oorlogen die VS begint gaat om het brengen van democratie of vrijheid, is van een
dergelijk smerig niveau dat je ervan staat te kijken dat men deze nog
langer gelooft, immers de VS is er goed in om democratisch gekozen
premiers of presidenten af te zetten met een staatsgreep en daarna
een dictator te installeren, bewijzen en voorbeelden te over……. (om maar te zwijgen over de goede banden die de VS zelfs met de meest gewelddadige dictators onderhield en onderhoudt…..)

So
We’re Already At The ‘Chinese Super Soldiers’ Part Of The
Propaganda Campaign

“What
we know is that the nation’s top intelligence official says that
the US has evidence that China is conducting biological experiments
on its soldiers to enhance their capabilities,” said CIA
asset
and reporter Ken Dilanian on a
recent MSNBC segment
designed to keep you nice and terrified of the west’s current
Official Bad Guy.

“I
was somewhat skeptical about this claim, but when I started poking
around I found that private American military experts in the think
tank world have actually studied this issue and written about it and
they have found that there is ample evidence that Chinese scientists
are very interested in applying bio-technology to the battlefield,”
Dilanian continued. “Picture super strong commandos who can
operate on three hours’ sleep, or a sniper who can see twice as far
as a normal person. This is the kind of thing that the Chinese aspire
to doing, and you know, it’s problematic because in the west we
consider that to be unethical, to tamper with the genes of healthy
people.”

Dilanian
was referring to a claim made in a freakish screed of cold war smut
recently published in the Wall
Street Journal
by US Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe titled “China
Is National Security Threat No. 1“.
The piece includes an
illustration
of a red serpent shaped like the Great Wall squeezing the world in
its coils, much like the globe-strangling tentacled beasts
traditionally used in propaganda to drum up fears of communists
and Jews
taking over the world.

Ratcliffe
claims that “China poses the greatest threat to America
today, and the greatest threat to democracy and freedom world-wide
since World War II,” asserting that there are “no ethical
boundaries to Beijing’s pursuit of power” and its “efforts
to drag the world back into the dark”.

Completely
unburdened by any need to provide evidence or even anything
resembling subtlety, Ratcliffe lists as reasons we should all be
afraid of China’s sinister desire to “subordinate the rights of
the individual to the will of the Communist Party” such things as
intellectual property theft and the fact that China (like all major
nations) often seeks to influence US politics. Slipped in among these
mundane and unimpressive claims, Ratcliffe writes that “China
has even conducted human testing on members of the People’s
Liberation Army in hope of developing soldiers with biologically
enhanced capabilities.”

A
claim without evidence made by a spy chief about the world being
threatened by Chinese supervillains with extraordinary powers given
to them by unethical Chinese mad scientists should of course be
dismissed with a scoff and a vulgar gesture. Instead, CIA assets like
Dilanian are leading the charge to throw the entire might of the
plutocratic media into driving this nonsense as far into western
consciousness as possible. This ridiculous story has been picked up
not just by Murdoch outlets like The
New York Post,
but by outlets like The
Guardian
and NBC as
well.

Truth,
as they say, is the first casualty in war. With its emphasis
on global narrative control
in lieu of conventional military tactics, this is doubly true of cold
war.

Painting
the Chinese government as a cartoon villain willing to perpetrate any
evil to conquer the world and drag it into the darkness, opposed only
by the plucky forces of light in our own government, is as
transparent a propaganda construct as it gets. If we had an actual
news media this idiocy would be called out, questioned and and
scrutinized for all the world to see, and the public reminded of the
US intelligence community’s extensive
history of lying
to promote pre-planned agendas against targeted governments.

What
we will get instead is a steady stream of increasingly incendiary
claims about China being parroted without evidence by the mass media
who serve as mouthpieces for the most sociopathic government agencies
on this planet. This is because China, like Russia, Iran, Venezuela
and the other nations which have resisted absorption into the
US-centralized empire, insists on its own self-sovereignty and has
therefore found
itself in the imperial crosshairs.

There
is no evidence that China wants to take over the world. There is only
evidence that it wishes to create a multipolar
world, which has been the norm throughout the entirety of human
history minus the last three decades. People have been told that
China is trying to replace America as the global hegemon so many
times that they simply accept it as a basic fact, but there is no
actual evidence anywhere that the Chinese government has any interest
in ruling over a bunch of random foreigners with whom it has little
in common.

“One
myth I think really that needs to be dispelled is that somehow China
is aiming to replace America and going to run the world, and it’s
not,” said Chinese venture capitalist and social scientist Eric Li
in the John Pilger documentary The
Coming War on China.

“First
of all, the Chinese are not that stupid. The west, with its
Christian roots, are about converting other people into their
beliefs. The Chinese are not about that. It’s just that–again,
I’m not degrading the western culture, I’m just pointing out the
inherent nature, the DNA of two different cultures–the Chinese two
thousand years ago built the Great Wall to keep the barbarians out,
not to invade them.”

Ratcliffe’s
screed of sinophobic cold warrior porn includes an illustration of a
red Chinese dragon shaped like the Great Wall squeezing the world in
its coils, much like the globe-strangling tentacled beasts
historically depicted in anti-communist and anti-semitic propaganda.

Whenever
I criticize the US empire’s aggressions toward and propaganda about
China my social media notifications are quickly flooded with
blithering imbeciles who claim I love the CCP and think it’s awesome
and wonderful. I don’t know what species of brain worm makes
people think if you oppose western imperialism it means you love the
governments who are being targeted by western imperialism, but it
would be good if it went extinct. I simply wish to live in a world
where armageddon weapons aren’t being brandished about in steadily
escalating acts of insane brinkmanship.

There
is no sane reason we should have to live on a planet where
governments are waving nuclear weapons at each other in increasingly
aggressive battles for global domination. There is no reason the
western empire and China cannot pursue detente and work to peacefully
coexist on this planet. Most of the rank-and-file public you see
babbling hysterically about China online are completely unaware of
the existence of the word “detente” and don’t even know
it’s an option; they’re so saturated in brain-melting propaganda that
they think these standoffs which are seeing more
and more military buildup
near China’s borders are the only possibly course that can be taken.

Well
it’s not the only possible course. We humans, as a species, can use
the power of our numbers to force an end to the collision course with
disaster we’ve been set on by a changing world order meeting with the
perverse neoconservative ideology that US hegemony must be preserved
at all cost. It absolutely is possible for humanity to live in a
state of healthy collaboration with itself and with its ecosystem, if
only we can pry loose the fingers of the ruling sociopaths from the
steering wheel and turn our world toward peace and harmony.

With
the incoming Biden administration being packed
to the gills
with ravenous China hawks, it is clear that this multi-front cold war
and its accompanying propaganda campaign is only going to get crazier
and crazier. Be a voice beckoning the world to sanity.

Weer een mooie gedachteoefening van Caitlin Johnstone, die de kop
meekreeg: ‘In An Insane World, Revolution is The Moderate Postition’.

In
haar schrijven noemt ze een aantal punten die beginnen met:
It should’n be radical or extremist’, ofwel: ‘Het zou niet radicaal
of extemistsch moeten zijn’, waarna ze een aantal zaken noemt.

Het
zou niet radicaal of extremistisch moeten zijn (of als zodanig te
worden gezien):

  • als
    je tegen massamoord bent

  • als
    je je verzet tegen een wereld omspannende machts-alliantie die de
    meeste van die massamoorden pleegt

  • als
    je je verzet tegen het bestaan van geheime overheidsinstanties die
    een uitgebreide geschiedenis hebben in het plegen van gruwelijke
    misdaden

  • als
    je zegt dat iedereen een basale levensstandaard zou moeten hebben,
    i.p.v. hen voedsel, onderdak en toegang tot gezondheidszorg te
    ontzeggen, als ze niet de juiste getallen op hun bankrekening hebben
    staan*

  • als
    je je verzet tegen het bestaan van een kleine elite klasse die hun
    fortuin gebruikt om onze maatschappij te manipuleren voor
    eigen gewin

  • als
    je niet wilt dat plutocraten en overheidsinstanties met opzet de meningen
    van mensen manipuleren met massamedia propaganda (zeg maar gerust
    een vorm van hersenspoeling)

  • als
    je wilt dat iedereen een gelijke kans moet hebben om zijn/haar stem
    te laten horen over ons ecosysteem, i.p.v. een selecte groep
    machtsdienende lakeien**

  • je
    wilt dat onze maatschappij wordt geregeerd door de grote meerderheid
    ten dienste van die meerderheid, i.p.v. een maatschappij die wordt
    gergeerd door een minderheid ten dienste van die minderheid

Caitlin
vervolgt met te zeggen dat het volkomen normaal, verstandig en gezond
is een wereld te wensen waarin iedereen vrij is om te doen, te
zeggen en te denken wat ze maar willen, zolang het niet een ander
schaadt en waar niemand wordt vermoord door machtige regeringen. Dat
is een basale, intuïtieve en gezond verstandelijke wens voor jezelf
en voor je medemens >> het is een wens die je voor de
maatschappij hebt zoals je die voor jezelf hebt.

Echter
als je het voorgaande wenst als politiek beleid, wordt je gezien als
extremist en radicaal….. Het wordt als volkomen normaal gezien als
je tegen oorlog bent, echter als je je uitspreekt tegen een illegale
oorlog die jouw regering voert dan wel steunt, wordt je weggezet als
een Russische agent (of trol), als een figuur die dictaturen
vrijpleit en alles wat je verder nog kan worden toegevoegd, alles om
je van de (internet) platforms te weren waar oorlogen enz. juist
worden gepromoot door de reguliere media die dit ook doen via de reguliere mediakanalen…… 

Het wordt als oké gezien als je voor
vreedzame samenwerking bent, ook op het gebied van het ecosysteem,
echter als je specifieke
politiek promoot waarmee je e.e.a. voor elkaar kan krijgen, wordt je
meteen gezien als een duivelse communist, een agitator van de
werkende klasse of een liberaal linkse gek (en dat ben je uiteraard bijzonder snel
in de VS).

Het
simpel opnemen voor gezond verstand boven gekte, zorgt ervoor dat je
wordt uitgesloten door de managers die verantwoordelijk zijn voor het
bewaren van de wereldorde die van top tot bodem knettergek is……
Als je je verzet tegen de systemen die worden gebruikt door de
heersende macht voor het moorden, uitbuiten en onderdrukken van
mensen in binnen- en buitenland, dag in dag uit en waarbij
tegelijk het ecosysteem wordt vernield waarvan we afhankelijk zijn om te
overleven, wordt je gebrandmerkt als een gek en worden je verkeerde
gedachten in quarantaine gezet (censuur) zodat je niet ‘de hele kudde’ kan
besmetten, aldus Caitlin en wat mij betreft valt daar geen speld
tussen te krijgen.

Eén
en ander wordt mogelijk gemaakt door het feit dat de machtigen hun
weelde en invloed misbruiken om de collectieve waan te voeden dat
gekte normaal is en dat ziekte gezond is. De welgestelde politici
en plutocraten, die de media in bezit hebben, voeden het publiek met
een onophoudelijke stroom propaganda die erop gezicht is om dat
publiek te overtuigen dat kapitalisme (en het huidige neoliberalisme,
Ap) goed werkt en dat de term westers imperialisme een maffe
complottheorie is….. Waarbij het leger, de politie en politici als
onze vrienden worden voorgesteld (immers zij beschermen, bewaken en
promoten de huidige inhumane neoliberale status quo, Ap)…… Dit
wordt continu gedaan door de reguliere nieuwsmedia en wordt met een
variërende subtiele graad gebracht in bijna elke tv show, tv
serie en film……… (wat betreft de tv shows vooral in de VS, al kan men er hier ook wat van, neem het meer dan achterlijke tv programma ‘Dit vindt Nederland’, o.a. met leeghoofd Catherine Keyl, waar gelukkig voortijdig de stekker uit is getrokken)

Het
voorgaande is volgens Caitlin een collectieve, met propaganda
geforceerde waan. Terwijl in werkelijkheid de reguliere promotors die
zijn geautoriseerd door de gevestigde orde de werkelijke extremisten
zijn en het zijn juist degenen die gezondheid en gezond verstand
wensen die gematigd zijn.

De
gekte in onze wereld zal door blijven gaan zolang we niet in staat
zijn om collectief onze weg uit deze gekte te vinden, zolang men in
staat is om ons collectief in verwarring te houden over wat gekte en
gezond verstand is, over wat normaal en abnormaal is, over wat
gematigd en extreem is……

Tot
slot merkt Caitlin op dat wanneer je je verzet tegen deze gekte, je
jezelf geen radicale identiteit moet aanmeten, bouw geen een eigen wereldje op met het leven op de rand. Om een revolutionair leven te
leiden, moet je juist wijzen op de normaliteit en alledaagsheid van
je gedachten, van het leven zoals je dat leidt. Laat je leven een
uitdrukking zijn van gezond verstand en revolutie.

Je
kan zelfs stellen dat gezien deze zaken het een plicht is om in
opstand te komen en een revolutie te ontketenen!! Waaraan ik zou
moeten toevoegen: ‘Je zou zelfs kunnen stellen’, daar je in het
eerste geval in feite oproept tot geweld en daarmee kan je ven het
netwerk worden gestoten daar je niet mag oproepen tot geweld en dat
geldt zelfs als je bijvoorbeeld oproept tot geweld tegen dictators
als Bolsonaro van Brazilië, die met zijn beleid de oorspronkelijke
volkeren van het Amazonewoud vogelvrij heeft verklaard, volkeren op
wie al eeuwen een genocide wordt uitgevoerd……

An Insane World, Revolution Is The Moderate Position

It
should not be considered radical or extremist to oppose mass murder
for profit and power.

It
should not be considered radical or extremist to oppose the
globe-spanning power alliance that is perpetrating most of that mass
murder on the world stage today.

It
should not be considered radical or extremist to oppose the existence
of secretive government agencies which have extensive histories of
committing horrific crimes.

It
should not be considered radical or extremist to say that everyone
ought to have a basic standard of living instead of being deprived of
food, shelter and medicine if they have the wrong imaginary numbers
in their bank account.

It
should not be considered radical or extremist to oppose the existence
of a small class of elites who use their vast fortunes to manipulate
our entire society toward their advantage.

It
should not be considered radical or extremist to want plutocrats and
government agencies to stop deliberately manipulating people’s minds
using mass media propaganda.

It
should not be considered radical or extremist to want everyone to
have an equal chance of getting their voice heard in our information
ecosystem instead of a few select power-serving lackeys.

It
should not be considered radical or extremist to want a society that
is ruled by the many for the benefit of the many instead of one that
is run by the few for the benefit of the few.

It
is very normal, sane and healthy to want a world where everyone has
what they need to live, where everyone is free to do, say and think
whatever they like as long as it isn’t hurting anyone else, and where
nobody is being murdered by powerful governments. This is a very
basic, intuitive, common sense desire to have for yourself and for
your fellow human beings; it’s wanting for your society what you want
for yourself.

Yet
people who promote policies which are aimed at creating this kind of
world are consistently marginalized and dismissed as radicals and
extremists. It’s okay to say you oppose war in principle, but if you
oppose any specific acts of warmongering being perpetrated by your
government you’ll get labeled a Russian asset, a dictator apologist
and all sorts of other pejorative labels which exist solely to
justify keeping you off of mainstream platforms. It’s okay to think
we should live in peaceful collaboration with each other and our
ecosystem, but if you promote specific policies to make that happen
you’re an evil commie, a class warrior and a moonbat in the same way.

Simply
advocating sanity over insanity gets you shoved out of sight and out
of mind by the narrative managers responsible for preserving a world
order that is stark raving insane from top to bottom. If you oppose
the systems exploited by the ruling power establishment which
murders, exploits and oppresses people at home and abroad all day
every day while destroying the very ecosystem we depend on for
survival, then you are branded a lunatic and your wrongthink
quarantined so as not to infect the mainstream herd.

This
dynamic is made possible by the fact that the powerful are constantly
pouring their wealth and influence into manufacturing the collective
delusion that madness is sanity and sickness is health. The
plutocrat-controlled political class and the plutocrat-owned media
class feed the public an unceasing stream of propaganda aimed at
convincing them that capitalism is totally working, that western
imperialism is a kooky conspiracy theory, and that the military,
police and politicians are our friends. This is what’s constantly
being done by mainstream news media, and with varying degrees of
subtlety it’s what is being done by every show on television and
every movie churned out by Hollywood as well.

But
that’s all it is: a collective propaganda-induced delusion. In
reality it is the mainstream promoters of the
establishment-authorized status quo who are the violent extremists,
and it is those who desire health and sanity who are the moderates.

The
madness of our world will necessarily continue for as long as we are
unable to collectively find our way out of it, and we will be unable
to collectively find our way out of it for as long as they are able
to keep us collectively confused about what is madness and what is
sanity. About what is normal and what is abnormal. About what is
moderate and what is extreme.

If
you oppose the madness of our world, don’t make an identity out of
being a “radical”. Don’t build an egoic structure around
life on the fringe. You are not radical, and your ideas should not be
fringe. To live a revolutionary life, you should insist on the
normality and mundaneness of your own position. Sanity should not be
special and unusual, and we should not participate in the delusion
that it is.

Let
your life be an expression of the common sense ordinariness of
revolution.

Jemen: zijn wij niet met z’n allen de terroristen die zovelen al een afschuwelijke dood bezorgden?

Caitlin Johnstone heeft een artikel geschreven waarin ze stelt dat als
het bijvoorbeeld om Jemen gaat, wij de terroristen zijn. In zekere
zin haalt ze met deze stelling haar gelijk, immers onze (westerse)
regeringen ondernemen geen actie tegen de Saoedische terreurcoalitie (sterker nog men levert zelfs wapens aan de grootste dader Saoedi-Arabie
en wij laten dit gebeuren…..)……. We kijken nog wel even op als er een
spaarzaam bericht met bijvoorbeeld weer een waarschuwing van VN baas
Guterres volgt waarin hij de wereld wijst op het vreselijke lot
van de sjiitische bevolking van Jemen, maar vervolgen gewoon weer ons
dagelijkse leven na te hebben verzucht dat het vreselijk is wat er in
Jemen gebeurt……

Vreemd
dat Caitlin niet spreekt over genocide, terwijl die intussen al bijna
6 jaar gaande is en waarbij niet 233.000 mensen zijn overleden zoals
de VN inschat (een cijfer dat Caitlin aanhoudt), maar minstens 500.000, waaronder ten minste 100.000
kinderen……

Een
paar jaar geleden liet Rutte 3 en dan m.n. zijne VVD leeghoofdige hufterigheid
Blok (minister van BuZa) weten dat er geen sprake was van
wapenleveringen waarvoor hij een vergunning had afgegeven, maar van
wapenonderdelen en die vallen volgens de schoft niet onder de
wapenboycot tegen de reli-fascistische terreurstaat
Saoedi-Arabië…… Alleen daarvoor zou Blok al vervolgd moeten
worden door het Internationaal Strafhof (ICC), maar dat strafhof is
er vooral om gekleurde oorlogsmisdadigers te vervolgen……..

Zoals gezegd, het gaat niet alleen om de westerse politici die een
genocide mogelijk maken (terwijl ze na Rwanda stelden dat dit nooit
weer zou worden toegestaan….), maar ook wij zijn verantwoordelijk
daar we niet in opstand komen tegen onze inhumane neoliberale
regeringen voor wie geld verdienen belangrijker is dan mensenlevens,
zelfs als die levens van kinderen zijn……

Wat de VS aangaat is er al helemaal geen excuus meer, deze grootste terreurentiteit op aarde, steunt de Saoedische terreurcoalitie, zowel militair als middels wapenleveranties. Zo helpt de VS als Groot-Brittannië mee aan de genocide in Jemen, door het trainen van de Saoedische militairen, de VS gaat nog verder dan GB doordat het land meehelpt aan de zeeblokkade van havens die in handen zijn van de Houthi rebellen, zodat er geen voedsel, water,medicijnen en brandstof kan worden geleverd……. Het gaat hier om rebellen die het sjiitische volk proberen te beschermen tegen het grootschalige geweld van die terreurcoalitie…… Voorts is de VS af en aan met speciale troepen op Jemenitische bodem om te vechten tegen de Houthi’s…… Tot voor een paar jaar voorzag de VS het vliegend oorlogstuig van de terreurcoalitie van brandstof tijdens de vluchten (en dat gratis!!), zodat men zo effectief mogelijk kon bombarderen, voorts regelde de VS de coördinatie van de bombardementen met haar AWACS vliegtuigen en als ik me niet vergis doet de VS dat nog steeds…….

We
Are The Terrorists

The
Trump administration is reportedly
close
to moving the Houthi rebels in Yemen onto its official list of
designated terrorist organizations with the goal of choking them off
from money and resources. The head
of the UN’s World Food Program
along with many
other experts caution
that this designation will prolong the horrific war which has claimed
over a quarter million lives and create an impenetrable barrier of
red tape stopping humanitarian aid from getting to the Yemeni people.

The
United Nations conservatively
estimates that
some 233,000 Yemenis have been killed in the war between the Houthis
and the US-backed Saudi-led coalition, mostly from what it calls
“indirect causes”. Those indirect causes would be disease
and starvation resulting from what UN Secretary-General Antonio
Guterres calls “the worst famine the world has seen for
decades”.

When
people hear the word “famine” they usually think of mass
hunger caused by droughts or other naturally occurring phenomena, but
in reality the starvation deaths we are seeing in Yemen (a huge
percentage of which are children
under the age of five)
are caused by something that is no more natural than the starvation
deaths you’d see in a medieval siege. They are the result of the
Saudi coalition’s use of blockades and its deliberate
targeting of
farms, fishing boats, marketplaces, food storage sites, and cholera
treatment centers with
airstrikes aimed at making the Houthi-controlled parts of Yemen so
weak and miserable that they break.

In
other words, the US and its allies have been helping Saudi Arabia
deliberately kill children and other civilians on mass scale in order
to achieve a political goal. Which would of course be a perfect
example of any standard definition of terrorism.

We
are the terrorists. Saudi Arabia, the US, the UK, Australia, Canada,
France and every other nation which has facilitated the horrific mass
atrocity in Yemen–this tight globe-spanning power alliance is a
terrorist organization the likes of which the world has never seen
before. The idea of the unfathomably savage and bloodthirsty US
empire designating the Houthis as a terrorist organization is the
least funny joke that has ever been told.

We
are the terrorists. I say “we” instead of our governments
because if we are honest with ourselves, we as a civilian population
are complicit in this slaughter. The horrors in Yemen are without
question the worst thing that is happening in the world right now,
yet they comprise barely a blip in our social consciousness. The
overwhelming majority of us have seen the pictures and videos of
starving Yemeni children, thought something along the lines of “Oh
a famine, that’s so sad” and gone back to thinking about sports
or whatever other insipid nonsense occupies most of our attention.

We
are the terrorists. Yes it is true that we have been propagandized
into our complicity with this terrorism and if the news media were
doing its purported job Yemen would be front and center in our
attention, but we are still complicit. We are still participating in
it, still living in a society that is woven of the fabric of
slaughter and brutality without rising up and using the power of our
numbers to force a change. Just because you are unaware that you
sleep on a bed of butchered children doesn’t mean you’re not lying in
it.

At
least 233,000 Yemenis have died in the US-UK-Saudi war on their
country, in a new (conservative) United Nations estimate.

a quarter of a million people have died in Yemen’s war, the UN Office
for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said on its
website on Tuesday, confirming the huge toll from anews.un.org

We
are the terrorists. But we don’t need to be.

We
can begin waking up together. Waking up our friends and neighbors,
spreading consciousness of what’s going on, raising awareness of the
horrors our governments are perpetrating in Yemen and in other
nations in the name of imperialist domination, helping each other see
through the veils of propaganda to how much life and how many
resources are being spent on inflicting unspeakable acts of terror
upon our world instead of benefiting humanity.

The
US government could force an end to the horrors in Yemen almost
immediately if it really wanted to. If maintaining unipolar hegemony
were suddenly advanced by giving the Houthis victory in Yemen instead
of fighting to ensure Washington-aligned rule, the Saudis would
withdraw and the war would be over within days. We could make this
happen if we could spread enough awareness of the reality of what’s
happening in Yemen.

the silence on Yemen. Pressure Biden to fulfil
his campaign pledge
to end the war which was initiated under the Obama-Biden
administration. Oppose US imperialism. Weaken public trust in the
mass media which refuse to give us a clear picture of what’s going on

CaitlinJohnstone verwacht dat de Biden administratie gewelddadiger zal zijn
dan die van Obama en dat zal leiden tot de voorwaarden die het een
‘tweede Trump’ (of zelfs Trump) mogelijk zal maken om de verkiezingen
over 4 jaar te winnen. Caitlin ziet het als een teruggang in de tijd,
vlak voordat de Democraten werden verslagen door Trump.

Terecht merkt Caitlin op dat linkse
Democraten nu al moeten beginnen met het verzet tegen de Biden
administratie, zoals Biden nu al bezig is om alles wat naar links
ruikt en zeker de leiders van de linkse Democraten, Bernie Sanders en
Elizabeth Warren buiten zijn regering te houden en alle plannen die
ze hadden bij een eventuele verkiezingswinst door de
papiervernietiger te halen……

Niet
voor niets dat Biden vrouwen aanstelt in zijn administratie, daar dit
al als links/progressief wordt gezien door zowel de linkse als de conservatieve (neoliberale) tak van de Democraten (waar de laatsten uiteraard niet zo blij mee zijn)…… Daarbij is Kamala Harris als Biden een oorlogsmisdadiger, zij moet de zwarte
bevolking behagen en lokken voor de verkiezingen over 4
jaar en kan door haar recente agressieve geschiedenis rekenen op de steun van de door de Republikeinen beheerste senaat….. Bovendien haalt Biden met Harris ook nog eens een aardig
deel van de bevolking binnen die van oorsprong uit Midden- en
Zuid-Amerika komt. Kortom ‘3 vliegen in 1 valse klap……’ 

Eigenlijk
haalt Biden nog veel meer groepen binnen, daar hij de wapenindustrie
al veel winsten heeft beloofd met zijn oorlogstaal tegen Venezuela,
Iran en Rusland…… China zal hij noodgedwongen blijven aanpakken daar
hij zich anders de woede van werkloze arbeiders en het conservatieve,
ofwel neoliberale deel van de Democraten op de hals haalt….. Bovendien heeft aankomend vicepresident Harris al belooft de ‘koude oorlog’ met China in stand te houden….. (tot groot genoegen van de Republikeinen)

Voorts
haalt Caitlin het boek van Obama aan, memoires van zijn
presidentschap en de aanloop daartoe, dat nu in de winkels
ligt (zal daar later nog een bericht over brengen). Onder andere noemt Caitlin de
uitlatingen van Obama over de meer dan belachelijke ‘oorlog tegen
terreur’, waar hij stelt dat hij deze oorlog door George W. Bush begonnen ten volle steunde en nog steunt, terwijl die oorlog
juist met grootschalige terreur werd en wordt uitgevoerd en een groot
aantal terroristen heeft gekweekt, om nog maar te zwijgen over de 2,5 miljoen doden die dit heeft opgeleverd siunds 2001…… (en dat cijfer is nog buiten de 3.000 mensen die zouden zijn omgekomen bij de aanvallen op de Twin Towers, waarover nu meer dan duidelijk is dat deze werd geregisseerd door de CIA en de NSA…….)

It
looks like a safe bet that Joe Biden will be sworn in on January 20th
after successfully campaigning on returning the murderous and
oppressive Orwellian US empire back to its pre-Trump “normal”.

The
problem with this, apart from the obvious fact that it was an
embarrassingly
close victory
only made possible by the Covid outbreak, is that returning to the
pre-Trump “normal” is returning to the exact positions
which created Trump. It’s like using a time machine to prevent a
train wreck, but only going back to one millisecond before the train
wreck occurred.

It
is clear that Trump’s election was the
result of the easily exploited dissatisfaction
caused by years of neoliberal austerity at home and neoconservative
bloodshed abroad which Obama forcefully expanded and facilitated
throughout two terms as president. Trump voters famously
defended
opting for the reality TV star over the anointed establishment
favorite Hillary Clinton as a middle finger to the Beltway orthodoxy
which did nothing but enrich the “swamp” Trump pretended
to oppose
on the campaign trail while ordinary Americans suffered.

Obama
openly defends his murderous drone wars in his new book.

He
also praised parts of Bush’s bogus “War on Terror,”

from all appearances it looks like Biden is going to be worse.

Unlike
Obama, Biden did not campaign on hope and change, he campaigned on
opposing
the socialist inclinations of Sanders progressives
and an aggressive foreign
policy
of planetary
domination.
He assured rich donors that nothing
will fundamentally change
under his presidency and his transition team is full of corporate
sociopaths,
war
pigs
and propagandists.
Biden has been a corporatist
warmongering authoritarian
throughout his entire career, and as his mental
capacity
continues to deteriorate he will function as nothing more than an
empty vessel for his establishment handlers to advance their most
pernicious agendas through.

If
I prove right about this, the Biden administration will
generate backlash just like that which arose in response to the Obama
administration, and that backlash will
be more severe than its previous iteration. This is absolutely
guaranteed. You can only oppress, neglect and enrage a population so
much before the discontent begins to grow.

There
is absolutely nothing American leftists can do to prevent this
backlash from coming. They will have absolutely no say in this
administration’s policies or behavior; BidenCorp has no reason to
listen to them, has made no pretense of having any interest in
listening to them, and is even freezing
Sanders and Warren
out of cabinet roles already.

All
US leftists will have any control over is whether this backlash will
break to the left, or if it will break to the far right.

Contrary
to what many mainstream liberals seem to have been imagining,
American racism and far right extremism did not begin with Trump, and
will not end with Trump. The white supremacists, xenophobes,
ethnonationalists, QAnon cultists and right wing militias are not
going anywhere after Biden takes office, and the backlash against his
administration and its worst impulses will be inflamed and co-opted
by mainstream Republican narrative managers. This will set the stage
for something a lot uglier than Trump down the road if it’s
successful.

What
the left can do is get ahead of the game. Take control of the
anti-Biden, anti-establishment pushback by leading the
charge–sooner, more aggressively, and more compellingly than the far
right does. Use the awfulness of the Biden administration to ignite a
true leftward zeitgeist in mainstream America that is so strong it
eclipses the inevitable rightist backlash in energy and appeal.

We
already know the American left has the ability to pull this off. The
grassroots, populist support for Bernie Sanders during his two
primary campaigns has been one of the most energized and inspired
political forces I’ve ever witnessed, consistently forcing aggressive
responses
from the establishment narrative managers
to contradict the damage it did to their preferred candidates.

The
problem with Bernie Twitter and the rest of his powerful support base
is that it only exists for a few months at a time, fizzling out when
it becomes clear that their candidate has had the door shut to him
and then reluctantly diverted into support for the establishment
candidate under the guidance of Sanders himself.

The
only thing more depressing than watching Bernie Twitter devolve from
soaring energy and inspiration to petty sectarianism and infighting
is watching it happen a second time.

But
imagine if that did not happen. Imagine if the US left realized how
extremely urgent it is to control the unavoidable backlash against
the Biden/Harris administration so that the right does not and built
momentum in a healthy direction instead, not for a few months but for
years on end. Seizing every disgusting, ridiculous and hilarious
thing this government does and attacking it, lampooning it, mocking
it, creating funny and interesting content absolutely wrecking it.

An
actual, energized counterculture could be created which could reshape
US culture as a whole. The Breitbart
crowd recognizes
that politics is downstream from culture while the left has generally
failed to make this connection, which is arguably why their guy is in
the White House right now and the left’s guy isn’t. A Biden
administration will provide ample fodder for attacks against status
quo politics, and this can be used to galvanize America’s hidden
progressive impulses
into a movement vastly greater than any one candidate.

But
the ball needs to start rolling on this now.
Not after the Georgia runoffs, not after Biden takes office, not
after the midterms: now.
The longer US leftists wait to start pushing this thing forward, the
less of a head start you’ll have on the rightists while they’re
fixated on Trump’s recounts and legal challenges. You’ll only be able
to lead the backlash if you get in early and hit the ground running
as fast as you can.

If
we know anything for certain, it’s that US power structures find it
infinitely preferable to deal with a right-populist movement that can
be appeased by some obnoxious tweets and an 8chan psyop than with
real leftist populism. They’re more than happy to throw the far right
a tax cut and some immigration restrictions, but real revolution can
only come from the left. There is an opportunity to create an opening
for that to occur, but it needs to happen before this thing can be
steered rightward.

I
know I’m regarded as a bit of a crackpot in some leftist circles; I’m
the girl a lot of lefties read in private but don’t share in public.
But this is a really important idea that needs to get out there, and
I’m hoping it reaches the eyes of some leftist thought leaders who
can advance it in their own words in their own way. This is very
urgent and the more people understand this the better shot we’ll all
have at creating a healthy world for everyone. Please get thinking
about this, everyone.

have shocked the world by managing to spectacularly under-perform
against a president who has failed the nation by virtually every
metric after years of mass media stories claiming he is literally a
secret agent for a hostile foreign government.

As
of this writing the election is still
too close to call,
and Trump could still end up winning.

This
should never have been close, and it should prompt some serious
soul-searching for the party. Obviously some drastic changes need to
be made, because what they are doing clearly is not working.

So
with that in mind, here are the key lessons we can expect Democrats
to take away from their terrible 2020 performance:

Trump of Biden, een amper bestaand verschil

Afgelopen nacht het debat tussen Trump en Biden, waaruit eens te meer bleek dat er amper verschillen zijn tussen deze twee oorlogsmisdadigers. Biden beschuldigde Trump van zaken die hij NB zelf mee heeft helpen implementeren, neem de kooikampen voor vluchtelingen, in feite niets anders dan concentratiekampen die onder Obama werden opgezet….. Biden zou tegen verdere olie en gasboringen zijn, terwijl deze sector ook onder Obama groeide en toestemming kreeg om te boren op plekken waar dit een groot gevaar was (en is) voor het milieu en natuur…….. 

Wat betreft illegale oorlogsvoering is Obama in feite de eerste president die de volle 2 termijnen in (illegale) oorlogen was verwikkeld, bovendien was hij degene die illegale oorlogen startte zoals die tegen Libië en Syrië (waar hij en de voorganger van Biden, Hillary Clinton, in feite de veroorzakers zijn van de oorlog in Oost-Oekraïne….)…..

Caitlin Johnstone heeft een ‘raak artikel’ geschreven over de keus tussen
Biden of Trump. Op uiterst sarcastische manier toont ze aan dat er
amper verschillen zullen zijn tussen een regering met Biden of Trump (een artikel van gisteren, maar voor het debat van afgelopen avond [in de VS]).

vraagt de lezer of het niet vreemd is dat de meest belangrijke plicht
die van je wordt verwacht is te stemmen voor: meer oorlog, meer
oligarchie, meer autoritarisme, meer ecocide (vernietiging van het
milieu en aanjagen van de klimaatverandering), meer uitbuiting en
meer plutocratische diefstal.

Voor
Democraten was de Trump administratie als seks: intens, heet en
passievol. De keus voor Biden zal zijn als de man die klaarkomt, op
z’n zij rolt, alle dekens inpikt en in slaap valt zonder de vrouw te
bevredigen, aldus Caitlin……

Voorts
stelt Caitlin dat men moet stoppen om linkse VS burgers te
demoniseren die niet stemmen op Biden, ze doen wat anderen zouden
moeten doen, terwijl anderen in de illusie leven dat Biden wel naar
links zal opschuiven (wat niet zal gebeuren)

the establishment instead of just tweeting about it.

Most
of my tweets during the Biden administration are just going to be
news stories about the US government doing something fascistic with
the caption “Boy it sure is good they decided to vote out

getting more and more brainwashed Trumpists in my comments saying
Biden is owned by China, and it strongly reminds me of the dull roar
that went on to become the shrieking fever pitch of liberal Russia
hysteria that was used to help roll out pre existing cold war
agendas.

The
same opaque government agencies that were able to engineer cold war
escalations against Russia using Russiagate are taking similar steps
to assure they’ll get escalations against Iran and China if Biden
wins. No matter who wins, their slow-motion third world war
continues.

Liberals
are just rightists who understand how to market rightist policies.

If
news media actually reported the news truthfully and in proportion to
its actual importance, Russiagate would never have happened, everyone
would be aware of the rapidly escalating danger of dying by nuclear
war, and Trump would be asked about Yemen in every press conference.

You
can have anxiety without being poor but you can’t be poor without
anxiety. If you want to solve the mental health crisis, start by
making sure people have enough money to function.

The
establishment pushes censorship for the same reason cult leaders and
abusive partners work to isolate their victims: they don’t want
people sharing ideas and information with each other about their
abuser, because that can lead to their escaping from the abuse.

Being
fine with a monopolistic behemoth like Google cutting people off for

Those

De minste van 2 kwaden: een niet bestaand concept als het om de verkiezingen in de VS gaat

Johnstone heeft in een kort en bondig artikel uitgelegd, dat ‘the
lesser of two evils’ (de minste van twee kwaden) een niet
bestaand concept is als het gaat om de presidentsverkiezingen van a.s. november in de VS, immers of een land nu wordt aangevallen door
een Republikeinse of Democratische administratie, maakt geen verschil
in de ellende waarin het ‘slachtoffervolk’ terechtkomt, ook al zeggen die administraties dat ze e.e.a doen voor het eigen bestwil van dat volk en ‘het brengen van democratie’ (en daarbij wordt maar al te vaak een land aangevallen dat een democratische gekozen regering heeft en waarbij die regering werd verkozen in verkiezingen die werden gecontroleerd door internationale waarnemers en door hen werden goedgekeurd…)….. 

Ook de schending van
mensenrechten wordt vaak als argument aangevoerd om een land aan te vallen, terwijl de VS de grootste schenders van mensenrechten steunt, zoals Saoedi-Arabië en Israël….. In alle gevallen blijven VS bommen en raketten dood en
verderf zaaien…… 

Overigens bleek tijdens de Democratische Conventie van vorige week dat Biden een veel agressievere buitenlandpolitiek voorstaat dan de Trump administratie heeft laten zien, doelen o.a. het Midden-Oosten, Rusland en China (en reken maar dat Biden onder het Midden-Oosten ook Iran rekent……) Kortom het feit dat de VS in feite het Vierde Rijks is en daarmee de grootste terreurentiteit op aarde, zal niet veranderen met oorlogsmisdadiger Biden…… In een later bericht zal ik wat verder ingaan op die Democratische conventie.

dit korte schrijven van Johnstone, waarin ze ook nog even ingaat op
religies die in feite zijn bedacht om mensen koest te houden en
netjes in het gareel te laten lopen, ook al is dat gareel in het grootste deel van de gevallen dood en

really don’t mean to be a pest about this but we are still trapped on
a planet where people without functioning empathy centers are waving
literal armageddon weapons around in the name of a made-up concept
called unipolarism. We should probably put a stop to that.

~

If
you see two separate mainstream political parties, it looks like one
is the lesser evil. If you see two oligarchic sock puppets held by
the same oligarchy, it looks like they’re both being used to bully
you into consenting to an entire system which isn’t designed to serve
you.

If
you see the latter, what is the correct response? What is the correct
response to someone saying you must beg them to punch you with their
left hand or they’ll punch you a bit harder with their right? Is it
to beg for the left fist? Or is it to knock your abuser the fuck out?

When
the oligarchy tells you “Vote for my left party or my right
party will take away your civil rights”, the correct response is
not bowing to its demands, nor voting right-wing out of spite, nor
even merely voting third party. The only correct response is to tear
down the oligarchy.

Democrats:
Here’s a half-dead piece of beltway flotsam held together by nothing
but Aricept and crazy glue who’s been pushing for wars, austerity and
the erosion of civil liberties since before most of you were born.

Progressives:
I bet we can move him to the left.

control over their political system.

you have monopolistic tech giants openly coordinating with their
government and censoring
countries
their government doesn’t like on behalf of their government, what you
have is called government censorship.

QAnoners
sometimes say to me “Why are you attacking us?? We’re on the
same side!” No we’re not. We’re on exact opposite sides. I
oppose the ruling power establishment, you support it. You’ve been
duped into backing one of the US establishment parties like any other
partisan hack.

~

Write
about the world’s problems in a way that ordinary people can
understand and you’ll open a lot of eyes, but you won’t get kudos
from elitist commentators. Write in a way that only elitist
commentators can understand and you’ll receive plenty of kudos, but
you won’t open any eyes.

~

Imperialists
who defend US warmongering with “But World War Two!” are
actually admitting that their worldview is garbage by the fact that
they have to reach back 75 years to find a US war they can actually
justify in their minds.

~

To
understand the world it’s not enough to be intelligent, you’ve also
got to be dedicated to learning what’s true. Most aren’t; they’re
dedicated to defending their own interests and worldviews. Smart
people will often just use clever arguments to defend their false
worldview.

~

The
way bombing creates extremism which is used to justify more bombing
is one of the most psychopathically brilliant scams ever devised.

Since
the dawn of history the true purpose of religion has been to shape
societies, dominate civilizations and build entire empires, whether
that religion is called “Christianity”, “Islam”,

Alsof
het een gunst is waardoor de Democraten akkoord zijn gegaan met een
totaal uit de hand gelopen oorlogsbudget (‘defensie budget’ >>
ha! ha! ha!) van 740 miljard dollar, in ruil voor de belofte dat
militaire bases met de naam van geconfedereerde officieren een andere
naam krijgen…….. 

Wat
heeft het voor zin om militaire bases een naam te geven van
officieren die weliswaar niet tot de ‘confederatie’ of beter gezegd de Geconfedereerde Staten behoorden en die verantwoordelijk waren voor misdaden tegen gekleurden en de oorspronkelijke bevolking van de VS,
maar die elders dood en verderf hebben gezaaid….. En namen genoeg,
neem alleen al de periode van 1945 tot nu: in die tijd werden onder
opperbevel van die ‘topofficieren’ van het VS leger ruim meer dan
22,5 miljoen mensen vermoord…… 

Let wel: het voorgaande is nog: buiten
de doden die zijn gevallen door geheime militaire acties onder
leiding van de CIA en buiten de door de VS geregisseerde bloedige
staatsgrepen en met medeneming van de intussen vele duizenden
moorden die de VS heeft gepleegd met drones, waarbij NB meer dan 90%
van de slachtoffers niet eens werd verdacht van een
misdaad…… (bij die moorden gaat het om mensen die de VS verdenkt
van misdaden tegen haar militaire apparaat, dat godbetert meer dan
800 militaire bases telt over een groot deel van onze
planeet……)

Echter niet alleen de nieuwe naamgeving is voor de Democraten reden voor goedkeuring van dit meer dan belachelijk hoge oorlogsbudget, daar Democratische politici in de senaat en het
congres op financiële basis profiteren van het enorme
oorlogsbudget……. Eén en ander vanwege de giften die de wapenindustrie hen doet toekomen ten tijde van verkiezingen….. (en waarschijnlijk ook daarbuiten, corruptie en de VS gaan heel goed samen, al zegt men daar dat dit niet zo is…..)

Belachelijk dat de Democraten instemmen met dit oorlogsbudget, zeker op het moment dat de psychopathische fascist Trump legers met burgeragenten inzet die vreedzame demonstranten tegen racisme oppakken en in auto’s zonder kenteken afleveren bij de gevangenis of wat daar voor door moet gaan…… 

Caitlin
Johnstone schreef een artikel over het nieuwe budget en legt de vinger
op de zere, stinkende plek: het ontbreken van elk ethisch en moreel
besef bij het goedkeuren van dit budget, terwijl de Coronacrisis
heeft laten zien dat de medische zorg in de VS zwaar onder de maat
is……. Er gaat in vergelijking met het oorlogsbudget dan ook maar een
schijntje naar de gezondheidszorg en dat op een moment dat de VS een
record aantal Coronabesmettingen heeft en er zelfs al vele tientallen zorgmedewerkers zijn overleden aan het virus, puur en alleen
daar het hen aan beschermingmiddelen ontbrak……. Tekenend is dan ook de
foto van een zorgmedewerker gekleed in vuilniszakken als bescherming tegen COVID-19 en
aan de rechterkant een politieagent die als commando in een duur
militair uniform is gehesen en dat tot de tanden bewapend, klaar om burgers te lijf te gaan…… (kan deze foto helaas niet terugvinden en de tijd om lang te zoeken ontbreekt me)

De
psychopathische oorlogsmisdadiger en oorlogshitser Pompeo moest
gisteren nog eens laten weten dat China aangepakt moet worden daar
anders: “Onze kinds kinderen zullen zuchten onder de Chinese
communistische partij….” ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Alsof niet de VS
maar China meer dan 800 militaire bases over de wereld heeft en de
ene na de andere illegale oorlog start……… Wat een ongelofelijke
en totaal ongeloofwaardige, maar uiterst gevaarlijke gek!

Lees het
artikel van Johnstone en geeft het door, nog veel te veel mensen denken dat de Democraten onderscheidend anders zijn dan de
Republikeinen en die het sprookje geloven dat de VS de politieagent
van de wereld is, een politieagent die totaal corrupt is en de ene
zware oorlogsmisdaad en misdaad tegen de menselijkheid na de andere
begaat en daarbij miljoenen mensen vermoordt en nabestaanden in diepe ellende stort……. (en dat verschrikkelijk genoeg veelal met militaire steun van andere NAVO-lidstaten, waaronder Nederland, landen die als de VS vervolgd zouden moeten worden voor oorlogsmisdaden….)

IN: Senate Passes $740 Billion Defense Bill With Provision To Remove
Confederate Names Off Military Bases” reads
a headline
from the digital news site Mediaite,
which could also serve as a perfect diagnosis for everything that is
sick about mainstream liberal orthodoxy.

The
Democrat-led House and Republican-led Senate have
now both passed versions of this bill
authorizing three-quarters of a trillion dollars for a single year of
military spending, both by overwhelming bipartisan majorities, on the
condition that the names of Confederate Civil War leaders be removed
from military bases.

Unsurprisingly,
Security Policy Reform Institute’s (SPRI) Stephen Semler found
a direct relationship
between how much a House Democrat has been paid by the war industry
and how likely they were to have voted for the bloated military
budget which also obstructs
any attempts to scale down troop presence
in Afghanistan.

This
is everything that is horrible about the Democratic Party and the
ideological position of mainstream liberals. Their leaders have
figured out a way to trade hard objects for empty narrative. To get
people to consent to almost limitless amounts of thievery, murder and
exploitation in exchange for words and stories.

They’ll
get rid of Confederate names on bases, but they won’t even slightly
reduce the vast fortunes they’re stealing from an impoverished
populace and pouring into global slaughter and oppression. They’ll
kneel
wearing Kente cloth,
but they even think about dismantling the US police state. They’ll
say “I hear you, and that’s something we’re looking at,”
but they’ll never intervene against plutocrats funnelling money away
from the needful to add to their unfathomably vast fortunes. They’ll
call you whatever gender pronoun you like, but they’ll never do
anything to inconvenience the oligarchs and warmongers.

They’ll
still make you fight tooth and claw for each empty concession,
because otherwise they’d be devaluing the empty, imaginary currency
they’re trading you in exchange for the concrete things they want.
But in the end there is no amount of narrative the powerful won’t
swap out for actual policy changes of substance, because narrative in
and of itself has no value. Manipulators understand this distinction
with crystal clear lucidity. Their victims do not.

In
reality it would be a lot more truthful and authentic for the bases
within the US war machine to continue to bear the names of racists,
killers and oppressors, since these embody the values of that war
machine far better than anything with a more pleasant ring to it. As
long as you’re robbing the American people to murder brown-skinned
foreigners for corporate interests and geostrategic resource control,
you might as well have names which reflect such values on your war
machinery.

So
I say keep the Confederate names on the bases. Hell, add more of
them. Add the names of Nazis, genocidal warlords and serial
killers too while you’re at it. It’d certainly be a lot more honest
and accurate to have a Fort Jeffrey Dahmer as part of America’s
murder machine than a Fort Colin Kaepernick.

War
is the single worst thing in the world. It is the most evil, insane,
counter-productive, wasteful, damaging, kleptocratic and
unsustainable thing that human beings do, by a very wide margin. If
Americans could viscerally experience all of the horrors that are
inflicted by the war machine their wealth and resources are being
funneled into, with their perception unfiltered by propaganda and
government secrecy, they would fall to their knees screaming with
abject rage. They would be in the streets immediately forcing an end
to this unforgivable savagery. Which is exactly why America has so
much government secrecy and propaganda.

If
Americans could see with their perceptions unmanipulated, their
response to the news that $740 billion is being stolen from the
American people by a sociopathic murder machine in exchange for
removing the names of Confederate leaders from its bases would not be 

“Oh good, maybe we’ll get a Fort Harriet Tubman!” It would
be rage. Unmitigated, unforgiving rage. Which is all the status quo
deserves. Which is all the Democratic Party exists to prevent.

Het label BLM, direct onder dit bericht, staat voor Black Lives Matter, ik heb dit label opgenomen daar het herbenoemen van militaire bases in de VS direct te maken heeft met de protesten tegen racisme gericht op gekleurden en de oorspronkelijke bevolking van de VS, immers deze bevolking werd met een enorme genocide bijna geheel uitgemoord, vooral door het leger van de VS…… Bovendien waren de Geconfedereerde Staten tegen de afschaffing van de slavernij, reden voor de burgeroorlog in de VS. De ‘nieuwste anti-Chinese propaganda’: de deportatie van Oeigoeren naar concentratiekampen

Afgelopen
week doken er foto’s op van ‘Oeigoeren’ die klaar staan voor
deportatie met treinen naar concentratiekampen…… Met deze claim
wordt China gedemoniseerd als een afspiegeling van nazi-Duitsland met
de deportaties van Joden, Roma, Sinti, homo’s en politieke gevangenen
naar concentratiekampen en de daarop volgende massamoorden op deze minderheden….

Nieuw?
Nee, de beelden zijn al van vorig jaar september maar blijkbaar
genoeg voor de CIA en ander westerse geheime diensten om China nog
meer als een kwaadaardige natie voor te stellen, zeker na alle
Coronahysterie en de claim dat China verantwoordelijk is voor die
virusuitbraak….. Inderdaad claims van geheime diensten die
een enorm archief hebben vol leugens, valse beschuldigingen, plus de daarbij behorende
haat- en angstzaaierij, propaganda bedoelt om buitenlandse regimes aan de kaak te stellen
die niet aan de leiband van Washington wensen te lopen……

Gaat het
om Oeigoeren die naar een concentratiekamp worden
afgevoerd? Dat is maar zeer de vraag, het enige bewijs is de claim
van de CIA en de geheime dienst van Australië en nogmaals die staan
bekend om hun leugens, verdraaiing van feiten, alles overgoten met
een dikke saus van angst en haatzaaierij…..



CaitlinJohnstone schreef een artikel over deze zaak en stelt terecht dat
de Chinese overheid geen lieverdje is, maar om dan vervolgens de CIA
en andere van dergelijke westerse geheime diensten te geloven, gaat om
‘in het jargon te blijven’ 10 stations te ver…… 

Vergeet bij dit alles niet dat de VS concentraiekampen heeft voor vluchtelingen, kampen die worden geleid door ICE, een uiterst omstreden organisatie, waarbij men ouders nog steeds hun kinderen afneemt (die vervolgens op grote schaal worden misbruikt door ICE beambten in de kampen en andere facilieiten waar deze kinderen worden opgesloten…)….. 

Lees het
artikel van Johnstone, waarin zij veel dieper op deze zaak ingaat en
bedenk daarna zelf wat wel of niet te geloven, maar onthoudt dat
geheime diensten vooral goed zijn in liegen, waarbij het eigenbelang
van deze diensten voorop staat, immers met veel van hun claims kregen
deze diensten, ook in het recente verleden, extra bevoegdheden en geld……. Anders gezegd: de geheime diensten hebben er alle belang bij om angst en haat te zaaien, daar ze hiermee (een groot) hun macht kunnen vergroten….. (en dan nogmaals: terwijl deze geheime diensten bekend zouden moeten staan als notoire leugenaars, bewijzen te over, neem alleen al de leugens voorafgaand aan de illegale oorlogen die de VS deze eeuw is begonnen, of wat dacht je van de belachelijke leugens dat Rusland de verkiezingen in de VS en referenda als die voor de Brexit heeft gemanipuleerd, geen flinter aan bewijs, maar nog steeds als waarheid gebracht door de reguliere westerse media en politiek!!)

My
social media notifications have been lighting up the last few days
with virulent Chinagaters sharing a
video
which purports to show Uighur Muslims being loaded onto a train to be
taken to concentration camps. It’s actually
an old video
that had already surfaced last year, but it is magically making the
rounds again as a new and shocking revelation in 2020 now that
western
China hysteria
has been officially kicked into high gear, at exactly the same time
the US enacts one
of the most dangerous and incendiary escalations of
recent years in the South China Sea.

So this old video from of inmates transfer from Kashgar to Korla is making rounds on social media again. It 1st surfaced in Sept, 2019 but appeared to be older video from 2018 based on image analysis. Thread:

Everyone
tagging me in this video presents it as a self-evident “gotcha”
moment, in exactly the same way Russiagaters spent years tagging me
in every HUGE BOMBSHELL WALLS ARE CLOSING IN item of thinly sourced
narrative fluff in their debunked
conspiracy theory
that the Kremlin had infiltrated the highest levels of the US
government.

They
are one hundred percent certain that the video shows Uighurs being
loaded onto a train to go to a concentration camp, solely because
that is what the bit of text over the video tells them that that’s
what they are seeing. They aren’t looking at the actual data and
thinking critically about it, they’re looking at the narrative and
believing it on blind faith. Which, in a post-Iraq invasion world, is
an absolutely insane thing to do when presented with information
about a nation that is targeted by the US-centralized empire.

In
reality there’s nothing in the video which tells us that these are
Uighur people being sent to a “re-education camp” and not
merely a conventional prison transfer of convicted criminals, the
likes of which take place in the far
more populous
US prison system all the time. It’s
an unknown. We
are told
by the BBC’s Andrew Marr
(the same Andrew Marr whose phony journalism Noam Chomsky derided
years ago)
that it has been “authenticated by western intelligence agencies
and by Australian experts”, which in
practice are the same thing,
and that’s really the extent of the evidence. Again, this is an
insane source to take on faith in a post-Iraq invasion world.

There
are in fact an
abundance
of reasons
to be highly
skeptical
of the establishment
narrative
about what
is happening
to Uighurs in Xinjiang. But that isn’t the point that I am trying to
make here.

This thread is a reproduction for posterity of a good thread by @OohTheChilliOil, an account deleted by Twitter for unknown reasons, on the “Uighur Genocide”. The only archives I’ve been able to find of this thread are damn near unreadable, so I’m piecing it back together here:

The
point I am trying to make here is that the only sane response to any
narrative that is being promoted by western intelligence agencies and
their media stenographers about governments which have resisted
absorption into the imperial blob is intense and unrelenting
skepticism. These organizations have such an extensive
and well-known history
of lying about exactly this sort of thing that they have left us no
choice but to withhold belief from anything they say absent a
mountain of independently verifiable evidence if we want to have a
fact-based relationship with reality.

None
of this means that China has a wonderful government. It doesn’t even
mean that all the bad things we’re being told about what the Chinese
government is doing are false. It’s entirely possible that that video
shows exactly what we’re being urgently told to believe it shows.
There’s simply no way to be sure one way or the other in an
information ecosystem that is so severely tainted by propagandistic
narrative manipulation.

Surely
the Chinese government is far from sinless. It seems to be a constant
that power structures which keep secrets and use propaganda will
always wind up doing ugly things. 

But this doesn’t mean you go
believing whatever cold war-facilitating story we are fed by western
power structures about it. Not if we want to avoid being duped into
serving
as pro bono CIA propagandists,
unwitting tools of a murderous war machine.

There
is a
slow-motion third world war
underway between the US-centralized power alliance and the nations
like China which have resisted being absorbed into it, and that war
is being largely facilitated by propaganda. If one doesn’t wish to
become a propagandist themselves, one ought to withhold belief from
the stories they are told about the terrible, awful things the
unabsorbed nations are doing which require extensive sanctions,
subversion and interventionism in response.

This
doesn’t mean you believe the opposite of what you’re told, it simply
means you refrain from believing either way and remain agnostic until
presented with hard verifiable proof. 

Believing damaging narratives
about US-targeted governments is exactly as stupid as believing the
words of a known compulsive liar about someone you know he hates.

        

China
is such a curious anomaly in the narrative matrix. Many who are
normally skeptical of claims by western governments immediately
swallow anything they’re told about China. 

They not only believe all
such claims, it never even occurs to them to seriously question
them. Like they seem to be genuinely unaware that skepticism of
establishment China narratives is even an option. The claims just
slide right into the “believe” file in their mind,
completely unchecked by anything resembling critical thought.

I
argue with people all over the political spectrum about China online,
and an astonishing percentage of them have clearly put exactly zero
research into critically examining these claims, even if they’re
people who are normally relatively critical of western foreign
policy. 

They’re often completely unaware that whatever claims they’re
advancing are not just disputed but have large amounts of evidence
against them. This is because they’ve done no research whatsoever
into finding out what they were told is even true. They’ll do that
research on Iran, they’ll do it about Russia, they’ll do it about
Syria, but with China all skepticism immediately goes right now the
window. It’s the weirdest thing.

Always
be intensely skeptical of claims made about governments targeted by
the known liars who run the US-centralized empire. Always, always,
always, always. If you advance imperialist propaganda, then you are
just as culpable for the bloodshed and suffering they help facilitate
as the people who are actually launching the missiles.

Stay
skeptical, my friends.
