Oud-geheime
dienst medewerkers en inlichtingen veteranen hebben een memorandum
voor president beest Trump geschreven, met de waarschuwing geen
oorlog met Iran te beginnen, dit daar ze de tekenen daartoe
zien…… Zoals ze ook president George W Bush (nog zo’n gevaarlijke
malloot, dat geldt overigens ook voor Obama de gespletene)
waarschuwden geen oorlog te beginnen met Irak in de 6 weken voordat
de VS illegaal, een op leugens gebaseerde oorlog begon tegen dat
land…….

We
weten wat van de illegale oorlog tegen Irak heeft gebracht: meer dan 1,5
miljoen vermoorde Irakezen en een land dat in chaos is gedompeld en
in puin ligt (reken maar niet, met IS in het defensief, dat de
ellende voor de bevolking daar voorbij is…..)

Een
en ander is ook ingegeven door het bezoek dat de Israëlische Palestijnenslachter Netanyahu volgende week
aan de VS zal brengen, deze psychopathische moordenaar ‘is gewond
geraakt’ door met bewijs onderbouwde zware beschuldigingen van corruptie……* En als bij
gewonde roofdieren moet je dan extra oppassen, immers een oorlog met
Iran zou Netanyahu nu wel uitermate goed uitkomen…….

Uiteraard zal de VS komen met een zogenaamd bewijs waarop het ‘niet anders kan’ dan Iran aanvallen, ofwel een ‘false flag’ operatie, zoals de VS die door haar bloedige geschiedenis heen heeft gebruikt voor het uitoefenen van ongebreidelde agressie, of beter gezegd: grootschalige terreur………..

President Donald Trump prepares to host Israeli Prime Minister
Benjamin Netanyahu next week, a group of U.S. intelligence
veterans offers corrections to a number of false accusations
that have been leveled against Iran.

INTRODUCTION

In
our December
21st Memorandum to you,
we cautioned that the claim that Iran is currently the world’s top
sponsor of terrorism is unsupported by hard evidence. Meanwhile,
other false accusations against Iran have intensified. Thus, we feel
obliged to alert you to the virtually inevitable consequences of war
with Iran, just as we warned President George W. Bush six weeks
before the U.S. attack on Iraq 15 years ago.

In our
first Memorandum in this genre we
told then-President Bush that we saw “no compelling reason” to
attack Iraq, and warned “the unintended consequences are likely to
be catastrophic.” The consequences will be far worse, should
the U.S. become drawn into war with Iran. We fear that you are
not getting the straight story on this from your intelligence and
national security officials.

After
choosing “War With Iran” for the subject-line of this Memo, we
were reminded that we had used it before, namely, for a
Memorandum to President Obama on August 3, 2010 in
similar circumstances. You may wish to ask your staff to give you
that one to read and ponder. It included a startling quote from
then-Chairman of President Bush Jr.’s Intelligence Advisory Board
(and former national security adviser to Bush Sr.) Gen. Brent
Scowcroft, who told the Financial
Times on
October 14, 2004 that Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon had George
W. Bush “mesmerized;” that “Sharon just has him wrapped around
his little finger.”  We wanted to remind you of that history,
as you prepare to host Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu next
week.

Rhetoric
vs. Reality

We
believe that the recent reporting regarding possible conflict with
nuclear-armed North Korea has somewhat obscured consideration of the
significantly higher probability that Israel or even Saudi Arabia
will take steps that will lead to a war with Iran that will
inevitably draw the United States in. Israel is particularly inclined
to move aggressively, with potentially serious consequences for the
U.S., in the wake of the recent incident involving an alleged Iranian
drone and the shooting down of an Israeli aircraft.

There
is also considerable anti-Iran rhetoric in U.S. media, which might
well facilitate a transition from a cold war-type situation to a hot
war involving U.S. forces. We have for some time been observing with
some concern the growing hostility towards Iran coming out of
Washington and from the governments of Israel and Saudi Arabia.
National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster is warning that the “time
to act is now” to thwart Iran’s aggressive regional ambitions
while U.S. United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley sees a “wake-up”
call in the recent shooting incident involving Syria and Israel.
Particular concern has been expressed by the White House that Iran is
exploiting Shi’a minorities in neighboring Sunni dominated states
to create unrest and is also expanding its role in neighboring Iraq
and Syria.

While
we share concerns over the Iranian government’s intentions
vis-à-vis its neighbors, we do not believe that the developments in
the region, many of which came about through American missteps, have
a major impact on vital U.S. national interests. Nor is Iran, which
often sees itself as acting defensively against surrounding Sunni
states, anything like an existential threat to the United States that
would mandate the sustained military action that would inevitably
result if Iran is attacked.

Iran’s
alleged desire to stitch together a sphere of influence consisting of
an arc of allied nations and proxy forces running from its western
borders to the Mediterranean Sea has been frequently cited as
justification for a more assertive policy against Tehran, but we
believe this concern to be greatly exaggerated. Iran, with a
population of more than 80 million, is, to be sure, a major regional
power but militarily, economically and politically it is highly
vulnerable.

Limited
Military Capability

Tehran’s
Revolutionary Guard is well armed and trained, but much of its “boots
on the ground” army consists of militiamen of variable quality. Its
Air Force is a “shadow” of what existed under the Shah and
is significantly outgunned by its rivals in the Persian Gulf, not to
mention Israel. Its navy is only “green water” capable in that it
consists largely of smaller vessels responsible for coastal defense
supplemented by the swarming of Revolutionary Guard small speedboats.

When
Napoleon had conquered much of continental Europe and was
contemplating invading Britain it was widely believed that England
was helpless before him. British Admiral Earl St Vincent was
unperturbed: “I do not say the French can’t come, I only say they
can’t come by sea.” We likewise believe that Iran’s apparent
threat is in reality decisively limited by its inability to project
power across the water or through the air against neighboring states
that have marked superiority in both respects.

The
concern over a possibly developing “Shi’ite land bridge,” also
referred to as an “arc” or “crescent,” is likewise
overstated. It ignores the reality that Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon all
have strong national identities and religiously mixed populations.
They are influenced — some of them strongly — by Iran but they
are not puppet states. And there is also an ethnic division that the
neighboring states’ populations are very conscious of– they are
Arabs and Iran is Persian, which is also true of the Shi’a
populations in Saudi Arabia and the Emirates.

Majority
Shi’a Iraq, for example, is now very friendly to Iran but it has to
deal with considerable Kurdish and Sunni minorities in its governance
and in the direction of its foreign policy. It will not do Iran’s
bidding on a number of key issues, including Baghdad’s relationship
with Washington, and would be unwilling to become a proxy in Tehran’s
conflicts with Israel and Saudi Arabia. Iraqi Vice President Osama
al-Nujaifi, the highest-ranking Sunni in the Prime Minister Haider
al-Abadi government, has, for example, recently called for the
demobilization of the Shi’ite Popular Mobilization Forces or
militias that have been fighting ISIS because they “have their own
political aspirations, their own [political] agendas. … They are
very dangerous to the future of Iraq.”

Nuclear
Weapons Thwarted

A
major concern that has undergirded much of the perception of an
Iranian threat is the possibility that Tehran will develop a nuclear
weapon somewhere down the road. We believe that the current Joint
Comprehensive Plan of Action, even if imperfect, provides the best
response to that Iranian proliferation problem. The U.N. inspections
regime is strict and, if the agreement stands, there is every reason
to believe that Iran will be unable to take the necessary precursor
steps leading to a nuclear weapons program. Iran will be further
limited in its options after the agreement expires in nine years.
Experts believe that, at that point, Iran its not likely to choose to
accumulate the necessary highly enriched uranium stocks to proceed.

The
recent incident involving the shoot-down of a drone alleged to be
Iranian, followed by the downing of an Israeli fighter by a Syrian
air defense missile, resulted in a sharp response from Tel Aviv,
though reportedly mitigated by a warning from Russian President
Vladimir Putin that anything more provocative might inadvertently
involve Russia in the conflict. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin
Netanyahu is said to have moderated his response but his government
is clearly contemplating a more robust intervention to counter what
he describes as a developing Iranian presence in Syria.

In
addition, Netanyahu may be indicted on corruption charges, and it is
conceivable that he might welcome a “small war” to deflect
attention from mounting political problems at home.

Getting
Snookered Into War

We
believe that the mounting Iran hysteria evident in the U.S. media and
reflected in Beltway groupthink has largely been generated by Saudi
Arabia and Israel, who nurture their own aspirations for regional
political and military supremacy. There are no actual American vital
interests at stake and it is past time to pause and take a step
backwards to consider what those interests actually are in a region
that has seen nothing but disaster since 2003. Countering an assumed
Iranian threat that is minimal and triggering a war would be
catastrophic and would exacerbate instability, likely leading to a
breakdown in the current political alignment of the entire Middle
East. It would be costly for the United States.

Iran
is not militarily formidable, but its ability to fight on the
defensive against U.S. naval and air forces is considerable and can
cause high casualties. There appears to be a perception in the
Defense

Department
that Iran could be defeated in a matter of days, but we would warn
that such predictions tend to be based on overly optimistic
projections, witness the outcomes in Afghanistan and Iraq. In
addition, Tehran would be able again to unleash terrorist resources
throughout the region, endangering U.S. military and diplomats based
there as well as American travelers and businesses. The terrorist
threat might easily extend beyond the Middle East into Europe and
also the United States, while the dollar costs of a major new
conflict and its aftermath could break the bank, literally.

Another
major consideration before ratcheting up hostilities should be that a
war with Iran might not be containable. As the warning from President
Vladimir Putin to Netanyahu made clear, other major powers have
interests in what goes on in the Persian Gulf, and there is a real
danger that a regional war could have global consequences.

In
sum, we see a growing risk that the U.S. will become drawn into
hostilities on pretexts fabricated by Israel and Saudi Arabia for
their actual common objective (“regime change” in Iran). A
confluence of factors and misconceptions about what is at stake and
how such a conflict is likely to develop, coming from both inside and
outside the Administration have, unfortunately, made such an outcome
increasingly likely.

We
have seen this picture before, just 15 years ago in Iraq, which
should serve as a warning. The prevailing perception of threat
that the Mullahs of Iran allegedly pose directly against the security
of the U.S. is largely contrived. Even if all the allegations were
true, they would not justify an Iraq-style “preventive war”
violating national as well as international law. An ill-considered
U.S. intervention in Iran is surely not worth the horrific
humanitarian, military, economic, and political cost to be paid if
Washington allows itself to become part of an armed attack.

BBC World Service en BNR met ‘fake news’ over Ghouta……..

Vanmorgen op BNR Bud Wiggers, de BNR correspondent voor Irak (voor deze keer aangekondigd als correspondent in Syrië) over de belegering van Oost-Ghouta. Uiteraard kwam de hele propaganda leugen weer voorbij, waarin Assad en zijn troepen werden afgeschilderd als moordenaars en waar in Ghouta zo te horen alleen nog burgers zijn…… (en niet de groepen, die NB de bevolking van Oost-Ghouta terroriseerden en terroriseren, terreurgroepen die bovendien beschietingen uitvoeren op andere delen van Ghouta en op Damascus….)

Wiggers had geen moeite met deze leugens en hij verzon er nog één bij: volgens hem heeft een groot deel van de bevolking in Ghouta al weken geen drinken en voedsel gezien………. Hoe komt deze fantast erbij (terwijl hij niet eens in Syrië laat staan in Ghouta is), immers een mens kan geen weken zonder vocht en voedsel en al zeker niet onder dergelijke traumatiserende omstandigheden………

In het BBC World Service radionieuws van 1.00 u. (CET) afgelopen nacht, het bericht dat Syrië en Rusland een vrijgeleide (corridor) hebben voorgesteld t.b.v. de burgers in Oost-Ghouta, waar de één of andere VN-trut durfde te stellen, dat mensen niet gedwongen moeten worden dat stadsdeel te verlaten….. Uiteraard doelde deze kwaadaardige hufter de familie van de terroristen (Al Qaida Syrië, al-Nusra en de White Helmets) die in Oost-Ghouta verblijven……

Zoals eerder in Oost-Aleppo willen juist de terreurgroepen niet, dat de burgers naar veilige gebieden worden overgebracht, men gebruikt ze als menselijk schild, waar men in het geval van Oost-Aleppo (en later in Raqqa en het Iraakse West-Mosul) zelfs mensen vermoordde, die gebruik durfden te maken van de door Syrië en Rusland ingestelde vluchtcorridors (in eerste instantie durfde men in de reguliere westerse media zelfs te beweren dat de Syriërs en Russen verantwoordelijk waren voor deze moorden, een leugen ofwel fake news van een heel smerig formaat…..)….

Daarover gesproken, dezelfde BBC World Service meldde zojuist dat het ingestelde staakt het vuren alweer is geschonden, ‘uiteraard’ door Rusland en Syrië, waarbij werd gesteld dat mensen die voor hulp hun huis of schuilkelder verlaten, worden neergeschoten door sluipschutters van het Syrische leger….. Dit terwijl het overgrote deel van Oost-Ghouta in handen is van terreurgroepen…… Je had waarschijnlijk al begrepen dat deze sluipschutters juist van die terreurgroepen zijn, zoals dit ook in Oost-Aleppo het geval was……… ‘Maakt niet uit’, de bedoeling is weer bereikt: Syrië en Rusland hebben de schuld alweer in de schoenen geschoven gekregen……

Nogmaals: voor al het nieuws dat uit Oost-Ghouta komt is geen bewijs en de ‘getuigenverslagen’ komen voor het grootste deel van de aanwezige terreurgroepen, o.a. verwoord door het SOHR (Syrian Observatory for Human Rights), een organisatie van een gevluchte Syrische misdadiger, die nauwe contacten heeft met de terreurgroepen in Oost-Ghouta……..

Zie voor de leugens die je op de mouw worden gespeld door de reguliere westerse media en het overgrote deel van de westerse politici, aangevuld met commentaar van zogenaamde deskundigen:

Het BBC World Service radionieuws van 12.00 u. vanmiddag, meldde dat VN chef Antonio Guterres (zogenaamd een socialist) eist dat de pro-Syrische strijdgroepen onmiddellijk een staakt het vuren in acht nemen voor oost-Ghouta…..

Dezelfde Guterres smeekte de VS eerder te stoppen met de bombardementen op het Iraakse West-Mosul en het Syrische Raqqa, een smeekbede waar de VS weigerde op in te gaan…… Daarbij werd West-Mosul voor een groot deel platgebombardeerd en waarbij een enorm aantal burgers werd vermoord, deskundigen hebben het over veel meer dan 20.000 doden….. Het werkelijke aantal zal nooit bekend worden, daar de ‘Iraakse coalitie’ (o.l.v. de VS) na ‘de bevrijding’ onmiddellijk zijn begonnen met het bulldozeren van de ruïnes, zonder eerst de doden daaruit te halen….. Daarnaast verplicht de islam dat doden binnen 24 uur moeten worden begraven, dit in een chaotische oorlogssituatie, waardoor controle van het aantal vermoorde burgers uitermate moeilijk is vast te stellen….

Ook over de grote Turkse slachting in Syrië, een slachting op de Koerden in het grensgebied met Turkije, waar Turkije NB illegaal is binnengevallen, hoor je Guterres niet….. Volgens Turkije gaat het om YPG terroristen, dit terwijl de YPG tot nu toe nooit ook maar één aanslag heeft gepleegd in Turkije, het feit dat het om Koerden gaat is dan ook leidend voor de reli-fascistische dictatuur in Ankara…..

Voorts hoor je Guterres met geen woord over de beschietingen vanuit Oost-Ghouta op Damascus en op de stellingen van de pro-Syrische strijdgroepen…….

Waar Guterres al helemaal niet over spreekt, is de terreur waaronder het grootste deel van de burgers in Oost-Ghouta moeten leven, de terreur van Al Qaida Syrië, al-Nusra en hun kompanen in de strijd: de White Helmets.

WDR 5 meldde zojuist dat de pro-Syrische strijdgroepen gifgas (chlorine) zouden hebben ingezet, hierbij zou een baby zijn omgekomen en zouden meerdere gewonden zijn gevallen……. Eerder meldde Moon of Alabama al dat men bezig was een nieuwe ‘false flag’ operatie op te zetten, waarbij andermaal een gifgasaanval op de bevolking in de schoenen van het Syrische bewind zou worden geschoven……*

Al de gifgasaanvallen tot nu toe werden uitgevoerd door de terreurgroepen die in Syrië aanwezig zijn, zo blijkt uit onderzoek van de VN en zelfs de VS heeft toegegeven geen bewijzen te hebben dat Syrië gifgas heeft gebruikt tegen haar bevolking…..** Wel is bij zo ongeveer de hele wereld bekend dat de terreurgroepen in Syrië (in het westen aangeduid als ‘gematigde rebellen) over voorraden gifgas beschikken, waaronder chlorine, terwijl internationale wapeninspecteurs meermaals hebben gezegd dat het Syrische bewind geen voorraden gifgas meer bezit…….

Je snapt natuurlijk wel, dat de melding op WDR 5, de komende dagen het nieuws zal domineren, waarbij men fiks hysterisch naar Assad zal wijzen……. Een gifgasaanval waar zoals gewoonlijk als enige bronnen ‘bewoners’ van Ghouta (terroristen van Al Qaida, al-Nusra, White Helmets en een paar ‘burgers’, ofwel familie van de terroristen) en het SOHR werden genoemd…….. (SOHR is een organisatie van een gevluchte Syrische misdadiger, die zijn informatie NB haalt bij Al Qaida, al-Nusra, White Helmets en andere terreurgroepen….)……

Op WDR 5 gistermiddag het bericht dat Netanyahu Iran vergelijkt met nazi-Duitsland.

Natanyahu de Palestijnenslachter durft de arabische landen zelfs nog verder op te zetten tegen Iran, alsof Israël onderscheid maakt in het vermoorden van moslims die sjiitisch (vooral in Iran, Irak, Syrië en Jemen) of soennitisch zijn (soennitisch: de overige arabische landen in het Midden-Oosten en de moslimlanden daarbuiten)……..

De psychopathische moordenaar Netanyahu had zoals gezegd het gore lef Iran met nazi-Duitsland te vergelijken en noemde het land een gevaar voor de andere arabische (niet sjiitische) landen in de regio en voor de wereld in het geheel…… ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Alsof Iran en niet Israël beschikt over kernraketten, waar Israël dan het braafste jongetje uit de klas zou moeten zijn, een land dat nog werkt met pijl en boog! Israël is na de VS en Saoedi-Arabië de grootste terrorist in het Midden-Oosten, dat heeft dit land na haar oprichting meer dan eens op een gruwelijke manier bewezen……

Je zal al wel begrepen hebben dat Netanyahu er alles aan doet om de aandacht van het volk af te leiden van de aanklachten tegen hem wegens corruptie en andere soorten van fraude…….. Deze laaghartige en gewelddadige psychopaat is zelfs in staat om een oorlog tegen Iran te beginnen, om zo arrestatie en gevangenisstraf te ontlopen……… Daarvoor gebruikt hij zelfs een Iraanse drone, die boven Israël zou zijn neergeschoten…… 

Ten eerste is Israël een van de Palestijnen op gewelddadige manier gestolen land, waar de drone ook nog eens zou zijn neergestort op de Golanhoogten, een gebied dat Israël ook tegen internationale regels illegaal bezet houdt…… Ten tweede is dit een overduidelijke ‘false flag’ operatie om Iran zo hard mogelijk te kunnen schoppen, ja zelfs de oorlog te kunnen verklaren….. Dat het laatste niet is gebeurd is al een teken dat we hier met een ‘false flag’ operatie te maken hebben, al heeft Israël als reactie Syrisch grondgebied gebombardeerd…..

Netanyahu stelde op een ‘veiligheidsconferentie’ (ha! ha! ha!) in München dat Israël voorbereid moet zijn om de geallieerden van Iran en Iran zelf te vernietigen…….. Dit zou duiden op een aanval met kernraketten……

De vraag is dan ook niet of Israël (met hulp van de VS) Iran aan zal vallen, maar wanneer…….

the annual Munich Security Conference, Israeli Prime Minister
Benjamin Netanyahu was ready, putative piece of a drone in hand, to
talk about the need for region-wide military action against the
“Iranian
empire.”

Netanyahu
claimed the part was from a drone which crossed into Israeli
airspace, and was Iranian, and was shot down. Israel responded by
attacking Syria, getting one of its warplanes shot down, and then
attacking Syria some more.

Israeli
officials were keen not to even mention Syria during this attack,
however, presenting everything that happened as having been done
against Iran. Netanyahu played
up the idea that Israel must be prepared to destroy not just Iran’s
allies, but Iran itself.

Threatening
to attack Iran is hardly a new feature in Israeli politics, and
Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif mocked the statement, saying it
was a “cartoonish circus” for Israel to make such threats, when
they treat the loss of a single warplane like such a disaster.

Zarif
faulted Israel for treating aggression like a standard policy, noting
how often Israeli warplanes violate the airspace of Lebanon and
Syria.

Tijdens
de illegale oorlog tegen Syrië zijn meerdere pogingen gedaan het
Syrische bewind te beschuldigen van gifgasaanvallen tegen de eigen bevolking en ondanks dat deze aanvallen na onderzoek stuk voor stuk
werden toegewezen aan de ‘gematigde rebellen’ (lees door het westen
gesteunde psychopathische moordenaars, verkrachters en martelbeulen),
houden de westerse reguliere media en het grootste deel van de
westerse politici vol dat Syrië ‘ofwel Assad’ de schuldige was…….

Uit
een groot aantal aanwijzingen zou volgens Moon of Alabama blijken dat
men o.a. samen met de White Helmets (onderdeel van Al Qaida Syrië dat door de VS van ‘de zwarte lijst’ is gehaald…) en CNN bezig
is een nieuwe ‘false flag’ operatie op touw te zetten, waarbij Syrië weer zal
worden aangewezen als dader van een gifgasaanval……

In het volgende artikel wordt o.a. uitgelegd dat chlorine amper slachtoffers maakt, terwijl men bij meerdere aanvallen met dit gas, sprak over het uiterst dodelijke sarin gas…….. Zoals men ook vorig jaar bij de aanval op Khan Sheikhoun, waarbij een voorraad chlorine van Al Qaida Syrië werd geraakt, stelde dat de Syrische luchtmacht sarin gas zou hebben ingezet, ook dit was alweer een leugen van enorme proporties…..

Clearing House” –  During the seven years of
the war on Syria several accusations were made that the government
that it had used ‘chemical weapons’ against the attacking extremists.
The Syrian government denied to have ever released any chemicals. The
implausible to murky ‘evidence’ of such incidents always came from
foreign paid  propaganda groups and extremists on the ground.
They were likely staged to incriminate the government and to thereby
induce military attacks by foreign states.

We
currently see several reports which in their combination look like
preparations for of another fake ‘chemical weapon’ incident.


On
February 13 the Russian
Center for the Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria noted a
warning of an upcoming false-flag ‘chemical attack’ incident:

“On
the evening of February 12, a resident from the Serakab settlement
located in the Idlib province called the Russian Center for
Reconciliaition to notify (the center) about a chemical weapons
attack that could be staged to provide footage for a foreign TV
channel,” the statement reads. “The caller said that
earlier on February 12, Jabhat al-Nusra members travelling in three
cars had brought more than 20
chlorine gas cylinders and
personal protective equipment to Serakab,” the Center added.

“According
to the caller, members of the local While Helmets branch wore
personal protective equipment while rehearsing first aid provision to
civilians suffering from chemical poisoning,” the Russian Center
said.

“The caller pointed out that all
the proceedings had been filmed by professional reporters who used a
mic with the CNN logo, while commenting on the actions being taken by
the White Helmets,”
the statement said, adding that in between takes, the reporters had
consulted with some people over a satellite telephone in English.

The White
Helmets are
a mostly British
funded propaganda
organization embedded with Hayat Tahreer Al-Sham, the current
incarnation of al-Qaeda in Syria which rules Idleb governorate. The
head of al-Qaeda in Syria, Abu Jaber Al-Sheikh, lauded
(video, alternative)
the White
Helmets as
the “hidden soldiers of our revolution”.

Helmets propaganda

The
Russian warning is not the only sign that another fake chemical
weapon attack is coming up.


The
Israeli government is pushing “top
secret” disinformation into the public which preemptively blames
the Syrian government for any upcoming incident. It is also attempts
to influence foreign governments on the issue:

According
to a “Top
secret” cable
sent to Israeli ambassadors earlier this week, Israel fears that the
Assad regime will use the chemical weapons it still has left in a way
which might spill over to Israeli territory. The contents of the
cable were shared
with me by senior Israeli officials.
…
[T]he
strategic division in the Israeli ministry of foreign affairs sent
the ‘Top Secret” cable to 15 Israeli embassies around the world,
including in Washington.
…
One of the more unusual
instructions in the cable was to
pass a strong message regarding the Israeli concern that the chemical
weapons left at the disposal of the Assad regime might be used
against rebel forces …

On
Tuesday the White
Helmets were
again trying to
get more foreign powers involved in fighting the Syrian government:

France
should stop talking about red lines and focus on real action to
persuade the main actors in Syria’s conflict to agree a ceasefire,
[Abdulrahman Almawwas], the vice-president of the Syria Civil
Defence, or “White Helmets”, said on Tuesday.
…
Speaking
after meeting senior French officials, including
Macron’s chief diplomatic adviser, Almawwas
said France needed to put pressure on the main protagonists, such as
pushing for a no-fly zone, even though he acknowledged France had few
options.

Only
hours after Abdulrahman Almawwas spoke with Macron’s chief
diplomatic adviser, the French president issued a
statement which set up a ‘red line’ trap:

“On
chemical weapons, I set a red line and I reaffirm that red line,”
Macron told reporters. “If we have proven
evidence that
chemical weapons proscribed in treaties are used, we
will strike the place where they are made.”

“Today, our
agencies, our armed forces have not established that chemical
weapons, as set out in treaties, have been used against the civilian
population.”

Setting
red lines is a trap for oneself as it includes an invitation to
others to break them. Anyone can release ‘chemical weapons’ in
insurgent controlled areas in Syria and blame the Syrian government –
thus potentially triggering the French ‘red line’. So far though
France has “not established” that a real chemical weapon
incident ever happened. Of note in Macron’s statement was also the
threat to strike at “the place where they are made”. That
place would likely be outside of Syria. The French Foreign Ministry
noted Macorn’s inconvenient choice of words, intervened and today
“clarified”
his remarks:

France’s
foreign minister on Wednesday sought to clarify his government’s
position on the use of chemical weapons in Syria saying that Paris
would only strike if the attacks were lethal and carried out by
government forces.
…
“(The
president) confirmed that he would proceed to military strikes
against regime installations if there was a new use of chemical
weapons by Bashar al-Assad’s forces when
these attacks are lethal and regime’s responsibility is proven,”
Jean-Yves Le Drian told lawmakers.

Al-Qaeda
will have no problem to create a “lethal” chemical weapon
attack. They have killed ten-thousands of Syrian without any remorse.
To “prove” that the Syrian government did it will be the
task of the White Helmets and its CNN and Atlantic
Council collaborators.

Chlorine
though will not do.

In
their last attempt to smear the Syrian government for using ‘chemical
weapons’ those organizations hyped
the remainsof
a few 107mmm rockets which allegedly carried chlorine gas and were
fired against the Takfiri held areas of east-Ghouta. (Unmentioned
were the thousands of grenades fired by
east-Ghouta Takfiris against civilians in Damascus.)

If
those rockets had held chlorine they would have had no effect on
anyone.

Chlorine
gas is hardly ever deadly. It is 2.5 times heavier than air with a
distinct yellow-green color and a strong bleach odor. Chlorine gas
will only kill those submerged in a high concentration cloud. If one
sees or smells it one simply walks away from the cloud and thereby
stays safe. Chlorine was used as the first chemical weapon in World
War I because it would creep downwards into deep enemy ditches. Even
then it was soon found to be ineffective as a weapon and replaced
with other chemicals.


That
a few rockets with a few pounds of chlorine would have no ‘lethal’
effect is also obvious from official
reportsduring
the U.S. occupation of Iraq:

The
first documented chlorine attack was Oct. 21, 2006, in Ramadi, a
Multinational Force Iraq spokeswoman said. In that attack, terrorists
drove a car bomb with 12 120 mm mortar shells and two
100-pound chlorine tanks.
The attack wounded three
Iraqi policemen and a civilian.

The
first attack that received media attention was at Taji, where
terrorists remotely detonated a 5-ton truck packed with 100 pounds of
high explosives and two
1-ton chlorine tanks.
The attack killed
one civilian and
wounded 114 others.
…
The most recent attack was June 3
against Forward Operating Base Warhorse, in Diyala province. Again, a
suicide car bomber launched the attack, and officials estimate it
included two
tanks of chlorine and
1,000 pounds of explosive. The cloud from the attack blew over
Warhorse and sickened 65
servicemembers, Multinational Force Iraq officials said. All
were examined and returned to duty.

A
Multinational Force Iraq spokesman said there are anecdotal reports
that while
the blasts from the attacks have killed, few have died solely from
the gas.
“We hear that an old man and some babies may have been killed, but
we can’t pin that down,” the spokesman said.

If
literally tons of chlorine were used in attacks in Iraq with no
deadly effect how could a few pounds on top of some small rockets
kill anyone?


On
February 2 the U.S. Secretary of Defense Mattis acknowledge the
practical uselessness of chlorine by putting it into a “separate
category” than other chemical weapons. He also noted that
he has no evidence of any such weapon use:

Q: Is there evidence of chlorine gas weapons used — evidence of chlorine gas weapons?

           SEC. MATTIS: I think that’s, yes —

Q:
No, I know, I heard you.

SEC.
MATTIS: I think it’s been used repeatedly. And that’s, as you know, a
somewhat separate category,
which is why I broke out the sarin as another — yeah.

Q: So
there’s credible evidence out there that both sarin and chlorine —

SEC.
MATTIS: No,
I have not got the evidence, not specifically. I don’t have the
evidence.

What
I’m saying is that other — that groups
on the ground, NGOs, fighters on the ground have said that sarin has
been used.
So we are looking for evidence. I
don’t have evidence, credible or uncredible.

NGOs
and “fighters on the ground” claimed to have evidence of
chemical weapon attacks. But just like the French agencies and armed
forces Macron mentioned, Mattis and the DoD have none.


The
Takfiris of al-Qaeda, the White
Helmets propaganda
shop and its media acolytes may well prepare, as the Russians report,
another fake chemical attack stunt. The Israeli government is busy
preparing the public relations ground. But the French government,
having trapped itself with ‘red line’ nonsense, then set the mark
higher at ‘lethal’ attacks.

Chlorine
is, as shown above, hardly ever lethal. But al-Qaeda will have no
qualms about coming up with a few corpses to prove the ‘lethality’ of
a fake incident.

We
also have seen how, with some outside help, a harmless chlorine
release can be faked in an allegedly deadly sarin attack. Such
happened in April 2017 in the Khan Sheikhun incident.


Multiple
early on-the-ground reports by local witnesses and Turkish
officials spoke
of chlorine release and
chlorine affected patients. Only a day later were these claims turned
into an alleged “sarin attack”. Real evidence was never
obtained from the al-Qaeda ruled grounds where that incident
happened. 


A discredited
investigation was
inconclusive. It claimed some “sarin-like substance” may
have been involved but it could
not even explain why
more than 50 casualties of the claimed incident arrived at far away
hospitals BEFORE it had happened at all:

The
admission times of the [hospital] records range between 0600 and 1600
hours. Analysis of the aforementioned medical records revealed
that in
57 cases, patients were admitted in five hospitals before the
incident in Khan Shaykhun (at
0600, 0620 and 0640 hours).

One
has to agree with Secretary of Defense Mattis on this – some corpses
shown to CNN by “NGOs” and “fighters on the ground”
are not real evidence. Neither are discredited investigations. If the
al-Qaeda Takfiris and its supporters want to come up with some
believable fake they must set their standard much higher.

Alsof we terug zijn in de tijd, de tijd voor de illegale aanval van de VS tegen Irak in 2003. Destijds werd er door Collin Powell (toenmalig VS minister van buitenlandse zaken) keihard gelogen in de VN, om een enorme oorlogsmisdaad van te voren recht te kunnen praten……. (een oorlog tegen een ander land voeren is een gigantische oorlogsmisdaad)

Ook nu wordt er door de VS ambassadeur voor de VN, hare kwaadaardigheid en superoplichter Haley, zonder blikken of blozen gelogen over ‘het gevaar Iran…….’

Lawrence Wilkerson was de stafchef van Colin Powell. Hij was dan ook één van de medeverantwoordelijken voor de illegale oorlog tegen Irak in 2003…….

Dezelfde Wilkerson beschuldigt nu de Trump administratie van het manipuleren van ‘bewijsmateriaal’ en het angstzaaien voor Iran (waar Wilkerson vergeet haatzaaien te noemen, dit is immers een vast onderdeel in de leugencampagnes die de VS voert, haatzaaien tegen een tegenstander, neem de leugens over het vermoorden van couveuse baby’s in Koeweit door Iraakse militairen, voorafgaand aan de eerste illegale oorlog van de VS in 1991 tegen Irak….. Of wat dacht je van de beschuldigingen aan het adres van Syrië voor het gebruiken van gifgas tegen de eigen bevolking, dit is nooit bewezen, sterker nog: wel werd bewezen dat elke gifgasaanval die werd onderzocht in Syrië, op de ‘doodsrekening’ staat van de ‘gematigde rebellen’, geteisem dat door het westen wordt gesteund…… Maakt allemaal niet uit: alsnog blijven de westerse reguliere (massa-) media en het grootste deel van de westerse politici deze leugens herhalen…… Dit zijn ‘false flag’ operaties, dus met opzet, zoals in dit geval, mensen gruwelijk vermoorden (of de poging daartoe) met gifgas en dit in de schoenen van een ander schuiven…..

De Trump administratie had zelfs het gore lef te stellen dat Iran samenwerkt met Al Qaida, terwijl Al Qaida elke sjiiet die het tegenkomt vermoord. Hetzelfde werd voor de oorlog tegen Irak gesteld, terwijl Al Qaida onder Saddam Hoessein geen poot aan de grond kreeg in Irak……. Intussen heeft de VS samengewerkt met Al Qaida Syrië en de tak van deze terreurgroep in Syrië zelfs van de zwarte terreurlijst heeft gehaald……

Ik snap werkelijk niet waarom de reguliere media hier geen aandacht aan hebben besteed en elke (zelfs bewezen) claim dat de VS samenwerkt met IS of Al Qaida afdoen als complotdenken…… Daar kan maar één reden voor zijn, de welgestelde bazen of investeringsgroepen die deze media in handen hebben en de regeringen (die middels subsidies voor de publieke omroepen hun zeggenschap kunnen afdwingen) tevreden houden, kortom: kwade opzet! (al zullen die media dit ook afdoen als een complottheorie…..)

Nog een ‘klein detail’ in deze: met het meegaan van de reguliere massamedia in het keihard liegen, brachten (in het geval van de twee VS oorlogen tegen Irak) en brengen de reguliere (massa-) media een ongelofelijke berg ‘fake news’ (‘nepnieuws…)…… Dezelfde media die nu om het hardst schreeuwen dat de sociale media vol staan met ‘fake news’ ofwel ‘nepnieuws’

Fifteen
years after the calamitous U.S. invasion of Iraq, an architect of the
propaganda used to drum up support for the war is warning that it’s
happening again — this time with Iran.

Lawrence
Wilkerson, who was chief
of staff to
former Secretary of State Colin Powell, helped the then-secretary
“paint
a clear picture that war was the only choice”
in
his infamous 2003 speech to
the U.N. This week, writing for the New
York Times — an
outlet that, at the time, parroted misleading narratives in
support of the war — Wilkerson accused the Trump administration of
manipulating evidence and fear-mongering in the same way the Bush
administration did to cultivate public support for ousting Saddam
Hussein.

In
his Monday op-ed,
titled “ I Helped Sell the False Choice of War Once. It’s
Happening Again,” he wrote:

“As
his chief of staff, I helped Secretary Powell paint a clear picture
that war
was the only choice,
that when ‘we confront a regime that harbors ambitions for regional
domination, hides weapons of mass destruction and provides haven and
active support for terrorists, we are not confronting the past, we
are confronting the present. And unless we act, we are confronting an
even more frightening future.’”

Though
the U.N. and much of the world didn’t buy it, Wilkerson says
Americans did, and it amounted to the culmination of a two-year
effort by the Bush administration to initiate the war, which he now
condemns

“That
effort led to a war of choice with Iraq — one that resulted in
catastrophic losses for the region and the United States-led
coalition, and that destabilized the entire Middle East,”
he wrote, going on to call out the Trump administration for pushing
the United States down the same path in Iran.

“This
should not be forgotten,”
he urged, “since
the Trump administration is using much the same playbook to create a
false impression that war is the only way to address the threats
posed by Iran.”

Wilkerson
singled out Nikki Haley, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations,
for her recent saber-rattling against Iran. He accused her of
presenting questionable evidence that “Iran
was not complying with Security Council resolutions regarding its
ballistic missile program and Yemen,”
comparing her directly to Powell. “Just
like Mr. Powell, Ms. Haley showed satellite images and other physical
evidence available only to the United States intelligence community
to prove her case. But the evidence fell
significantly short.”

Wilkerson
accused Haley’s claims about Iran of essentially mirroring Powell’s
claims about Iraq, also warning that war with Iran will be very
different. It is “a country of almost 80 million people whose
vast strategic depth and difficult terrain make it a far greater
challenge than Iraq, would be 10 to 15 times worse than the Iraq war
in terms of casualties and costs,” he cautioned, still
asserting that countries like China, Russia, and North Korea pose far
more “formidable challenges to America” than Iran does.

The
former chief of staff to Powell further criticized the Trump
administration, citing its National
Security Strategy,
which claims:

“The
longer we ignore threats from countries determined to proliferate and
develop weapons of mass destruction, the worse such threats become,
and the fewer defensive options we have.”

“The
Bush-Cheney team could not have said it better as it contemplated
invading Iraq,”
Wilkerson wrote, going on to call out not just Haley and the Trump
administration but also the executive branch in general, Congress,
and the media.

“Though
Ms. Haley’s presentation missed the mark, and no one other than the
national security elite will even read the strategy, it won’t
matter,”
he lamented. “We’ve
seen this before: a campaign built on the politicization
of intelligence and
shortsighted policy decisions to make the case for war. And the
American people have apparently become so accustomed to executive
branch warmongering — approved almost unanimously by the Congress —
that such actions are not significantly contested.”

He
implicated the news media, as well, noting that outlets recently
“failed to refute false narratives” from the Trump administration
that Iran worked with Al-Qaeda to undermine the U.S. (never forget
the CIA’s overseas meddling helped
lay the foundation for
Al-Qaeda in the first place, and its policy of arming extremists in
Syria also ended up empowering the
terror group). He compared this false conflation with Dick Cheney’s
attempts to link Saddam Hussein to Al-Qaeda during the Bush years.

Nevertheless,
Wilkerson wrote, “[t]oday, the
analysts claiming
close ties between Al Qaeda and Iran come from the Foundation
for Defense of Democracies,
which vehemently
opposes the
Iran nuclear deal and unabashedly calls for regime
change in
Iran.”

He
went on to list the variety of ways the Trump administration is
drumming up unfounded support for war against Iran:

“We
should include the president’s decertification ultimatum in January
that Congress must ‘fix’ the Iran nuclear deal, despite the
reality of Iran’s compliance;
the White House’s pressure
on the intelligence community to cook up evidence of
Iran’s noncompliance; and the administration’s choosing
to view the
recent protests in Iran as the beginning of regime change. Like the
Bush administration before, these seemingly disconnected events serve
to create a narrative in which war with Iran is the only viable
policy.”

Considering
Iran has long been
a crown
jewel in
the U.S. hegemonic efforts, it should be no surprise the Trump
administration isn’t budging on its plans to intervene. Wilkerson,
however, knows far better than most the dangers of pushing
unsubstantiated claims to advocate war.

He
warned:

“As
I look back at our lock-step march toward war with Iraq, I realize
that it didn’t seem to matter to us that we used shoddy or
cherry-picked intelligence; that it was unrealistic to argue that the
war would ‘pay for itself,’ rather than cost trillions of
dollars; that we might be hopelessly naïve in thinking that the war
would lead to democracy instead of pushing the region into a downward
spiral.”

Het contraproductieve antwoord van Rusland op de corrupte ‘oppositieleider’ Navalny

Ongelofelijk hoe Rusland bezig is tegen de zogenaamde oppositieleider Navalny. Alsof het hier gaat om een figuur en een partij die daadwerkelijk een gevaar zouden zijn voor de Russische president Putin of de Russische samenleving………

Meer dan een paar duizend mensen krijgt de ‘corruptiebestrijder’ Navalny niet op straat….

Waar is de realiteitszin gebleven, de realiteitszin* die Putin aan de dag legde bij de oorlog van de VS** tegen de Syrische regering Assad en vooralsnog heeft kunnen voorkomen dat dit land is veranderd in een chaos zoals we die zien in Libië….. Libië waar de NAVO o.l.v. de VS dit land in één grote chaos heeft gestort, waarbij het eerst rijkste land van Afrika is veranderd in één van de armste landen op dat continent…….

Meneer Putin, laat Navalny begaan, oké als hij een misdaad pleegt moet hij vastzitten, maar zijn politieke partij is in de verste verte geen bedreiging voor u, uw regering of Rusland in het groot! Contraproductief, de manier waarop Rusland nu bezig is, immers deze geeft de anti-Russische propaganda in het westen vleugels……..

*  Realiteitszin die ervoor heeft gezorgd dat de oorlog in Syrië niet is geëscaleerd in een oorlog met de VS of Turkije (althans tot nu toe)

** De VS was al vanaf 2006 bezig met de voorbereiding op een opstand in Syrië die moest uitmonden in een staatsgreep tegen Assad, een tactiek die in Libië en Oekraïne wel is gelukt en waar dit laatst genoemde land in oorlog is tegen de eigen bevolking in het oostelijk deel van dit land…… Een bevolking die voor het overgrote deel bestaat uit mensen, die niet wensen te leven onder de corrupte, door de VS geparachuteerde neonazi Porosjenko…… Ondanks de kapitalen die het westen al in Oekraïne heeft gestoken, heeft Porosjenko het land naar de rand van een faillissement gebracht (terwijl zijn buitenlandse bankrekeningen in het buitenland, ook in Nederland, tegelijkertijd fiks zijn gegroeid…….) Overigens is de VS al een paar jaar met dezelfde tactiek bezig in Venezuela, een economische oorlog die bestaat uit o.a. boycot voor medicijnen en levensmiddelen, plus ‘ontmoediging’ (lees: ‘een verbod) op nieuwe investeringen in het land (ook door investeerders van buiten de VS)….. Daarmee zou de bevolking in opstand moeten komen, waar door de VS betaalde bewapende psychopaten (veelal van buiten Venezuela) zwaar geweld gebruikten en gebruiken in demonstraties, om de regering Maduro in een kwaad daglicht te stellen…..

De VS is bereid om militaire actie te ondernemen tegen de Syrische regering, zo meldde Anti-Media gisteren, dit om Syrië af te houden van gifgasgebruik…….. Ofwel Trump heeft de rode lijn voor Syrië gerenoveerd….. De claim dat het reguliere Syrische leger gifgas gebruikt is een leugen van formaat, keer op keer blijkt na onderzoek dat de ‘gematigde rebellen’ (lees: psychopathische moordenaars, verkrachters en martelbeulen) verantwoordelijk zijn….. Grote verkondiger van deze leugens is de VS zelf (‘uiteraard’ gesteund door de zogenaamde onafhankelijke massamedia en het overgrote deel van de westerse VS ‘politici…’)……

‘Rebellen’ als Al Qaida Syrië (o.a. al-Nusra) hebben nog steeds voorraden gifgas, terwijl echte deskundigen, waaronder wapeninspecteurs al een aantal jaren roepen dat het Syrische leger niet langer beschikt over massavernietigingswapens als gifgas…… E.e.a. bleek bijvoorbeeld na ‘de gifgasaanval’ op Khan Sheikhoun: daar raakte de Syrische luchtmacht een wapendepot van een aan Al Qaida gelieerde terreurgroep, een wapendepot waar het gifgas chlorine was opgeslagen.

Nog steeds wordt Syrië verantwoordelijk gehouden door de reguliere westerse (massa-) media en het grootste deel van de westerse politici voor de gifgasaanval op Khan Sheikhoun, een aanval die volgens deze politici en media niet met chlorine, maar met Sarin, een zenuwgas, zou zijn gedaan…….. (foto’s toonden al aan dat het niet om Sarin ging en uit later onderzoek wees uit dat het chlorine was….)

De ‘gematigde rebellen’ gebruiken gifgas als middel om Syrië als een kwaadaardig regime af te schilderen, ofwel in ‘false flag’ operaties….*

De VS bedreigt Syrië met een groot aantal leugens, waar geen nanometer bewijs voor is geleverd (oh ja dom van mij, immers het gaat om leugens…) dat de VS intussen (wel) bewezen vele duizenden Syrische burgers heeft vermoord in bombardementen zoals die op Raqqa, interesseert blijkbaar niemand……….

US
Prepared to Take Military Action Against Syrian Government Forces,
Officials Warn

(MEE) — The
Trump administration is prepared to again take military action
against Syrian government forces if necessary to deter the use of
chemical weapons and is concerned they may be developing new methods
to deliver such weapons, senior US officials said on
Thursday.

Forces
loyal to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad have continued occasional
use of chemical weapons in smaller amounts since a deadly attack last
April that drew a US missile strike on a Syrian air base, the
officials told reporters in a briefing.

If
the international community does not act quickly to step up pressure
on Assad, Syria’s chemical weapons could spread beyond Syria and
possibly even to the United States, one of the officials said,
speaking on condition of anonymity. “It will spread if we don’t
do something,” the official warned.

In
late January,
rescue workers in a rebel-held enclave east of Damascus said
government forces had again used chlorine gas, and the Syrian
Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR**) said at least 13 people had suffered
suffocation.

The
White Helmets civil defence rescue force, which operates in
rebel-held parts of Syria, said 13 civilians including women and
children had been “injured after (the) Assad regime used chlorine
gas in Douma city in Eastern Ghouta”.

The
EU last year blacklisted
over a dozen high
ranking Syrian military officials and scientists over chemical
weapons attacks on civilians inside Syria.

At
least 20 civilians were killed Thursday in Syrian government air
strikes on rebel-held territory in the country’s north, a war
monitor said.

Elsewhere
three children were reported killed in artillery strikes on
rebel-held Eastern Ghouta, while state news agency SANA said seven
people died in apparent retaliatory shelling of nearby
government-held Damascus.

The
aerial bombardments in the north pounded several areas in the
provinces of Aleppo and Idlib, where government troops are waging a
Russian-backed assault against rebels and militants.

Constitutional
Changes

Separately
on Thursday, Syria’s opposition said it would cooperate with
proposals made at a Russia-hosted conference this week to rewrite the
country’s constitution as long as the process remains under UN
auspices.

Participants
at Tuesday’s meeting in the Black Sea resort of Sochi in Russia –
which is a powerful supporter of Assad – agreed to set up a
committee to change the Syrian constitution, and called for
democratic elections.

The
main Syrian opposition negotiating group had boycotted the gathering,
while the United States, Britain and France also stayed away because
of what they said was the Syrian government’s refusal to properly
engage.

However,
chief opposition negotiator Nasr Hariri said the Syrian Negotiation
Commission would “work positively” with the proposed committee
because responsibility for setting it up had been handed to the UN
Syria envoy, Staffan de Mistura.

“If
the constitutional committee is set up… within the UN process in
Geneva, strictly consistent with UN resolution 2254, yes we will
continue to work with the UN process in this regard,” he told a
news conference.

Damascus
welcomed the results of the Sochi meeting.

“The
final statement of the conference confirmed the consensus of Syrians
on … preserving the sovereignty and unity of Syrian territory and
people, and the exclusive right of the Syrian people to choose their
own political and economic system,” the Foreign Ministry said in a
statement.

It
made no mention of the decision to set up a committee to rewrite the
constitution or the call for democratic elections.

Four
years of on-off United Nations-mediated peace talks have yielded
little progress toward ending the seven-year war, but De Mistura has
pressed ahead with efforts for a political solution.

He
said on Tuesday the constitutional committee agreed in Sochi “will
become a reality in Geneva”, where most of the UN-led Syria peace
talks have been held. De Mistura also said he would decide the
criteria for committee members and select about 50 people – from
government, opposition and independent groups.

VS eist nieuwe sancties tegen Syrië na vermeende gifgasaanval……….

Mensen, werkelijk ongelofelijk maar waar: weer durft de VS met de vinger te wijzen naar de Syrische regering. nadat in door ‘rebellen’ beheerst gebied (door de VS beveiligd) nogmaals gifgas is vrijgekomen…… Het vrijgekomen gas bleek na onderzoek chlorine te zijn, je weet wel, waarvan eerder een voorraad werd geraakt in Khan Sheikhoun, maar die door ‘deskundigen’ en de reguliere westerse media nog steeds werd en wordt omschreven als een aanval met Sarin (een zenuwgas) door het Syrische leger……..

Dat laatste, ‘Sarin’ bleek al onmiddellijk niet waar te zijn, daar de hulpverleners niet waren gekleed tegen de gevolgen van het werken met Sarin slachtoffers…… Voorts hebben meerdere echte deskundigen al van meet af aan gezegd dat reguliere Syrische leger geen gifgas meer in het bezit had, zie de vergelijking in de aanloop naar de illegale oorlog van de VS tegen Irak in 2003……… Eerdere gifgasaanvallen van ‘Assad’ werden na onderzoek toegeschreven aan de zogenaamde gematigde rebellen (moordend en verkrachtend geteisem)……..

DE NOS plaatste op haar site (7 april 2017) een lulverhaal van Ko ‘de woestijnwachter’ Colijn, waarin deze enorme flapdrol zogenaamd aantoont dat inderdaad Syrische troepen Sarin gas tegen burgers hadden gebruikt in Khan Sheikhoun…. Eén van zijn belachelijke uitspraken op de NOS site, na de volgende opmerking van de NOS: ‘Maar volgens Colijn is het ‘vrij onwaarschijnlijk‘ dat rebellen over dit soort chemische wapens beschikken‘ >> komt ‘ie (houd je vast): “IS heeft wel restanten van zenuwgas in bezit, maar de kans is klein dat de terreurorganisatie die heeft ingezet“, zegt Colijn………. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!

Ten eerste was al minstens vijf keer eerder geconstateerd dat de zogenaamde ‘gematigde rebellen’ over gifgas beschikken (zo bleek o.a. uit wapenvondsten en grondig onderzoek, onderzoek dat overigens veelal door de VS en haar lakeien wordt afgewezen, als daarom wordt gevraagd, behalve als de onderzoekers ‘betrouwbare VS specialisten’  zijn natuurlijk*). Ten tweede de volgende open deur vraag: zijn IS, Al Qaida, of haar evenknie in Syrië al-Nusra padvindersorganisaties die zoveel mogelijk geweld tegen burgers vermijden of zo….???? Waar slaat ‘t op??!!! Waarom is de kans klein dat IS zenuwgas inzet, omdat ze het al eerder hebben gedaan??? Hier de link naar het artikel op de hevig partijdig gekleurde site van de NOS, wel met de volgende waarschuwing: weet je echt veel over de illegale door de VS gestichte oorlog tegen Syrië? Pas op dat je er niet in blijft, in een onbedaarlijke lachstuip >> wat een oplichter en idioot die Colijn!!

Overigens stond er een bijzonder vreemde kop boven dit NOS artikel: ‘Gifgas was aanleiding aanval, maar met welk bewijs?’ Dan moet je deze uiterst kromme ‘vraag’ nodig aan één van de grote lobbyisten van de VS, NAVO en het militair-industrieel complex voorleggen, je kan dan net zo goed zelf bepalen met welk antwoord kwezel Colijn komt (dat is namelijk uitermate voorspelbaar)……

En dan: ‘Gifgas was aanleiding aanval’, nogmaals waar slaat ‘t op?? De echte vraag had natuurlijk moeten zijn: ‘Waarom zou Assad gifgas gebruiken als hij aan de winnende hand is????’ Om de wereld nog verder tegen zich in het harnas te jagen? Wat een dom gelul, maar het allerbelangrijkst zijn de bewijzen dat het reguliere Syrische leger (en niet ‘Assad’) geen gifgas heeft en dus ook niet heeft gebruikt in de aanvallen die aan dit leger worden toegeschreven, sterker nog: niet één van die aanvallen is toe te schrijven aan het reguliere Syrische leger!! Niet voor niets is meermaals aangetoond dat deze zogenaamde gematigde rebellen in het bezit waren (en veelal nog zijn) van gifgas dat werd gebruikt in die aanvallen…..**



Het is intussen al lang bekend dat Trump de aanval met kruisraketten na ‘de aanval met gifgas op Khan Sheikhoun, gelastte daar hij TV beelden zag, waarin de schuld werd toegeschreven aan het Syrische leger (in de uren na die aanval, dus zonder ook maar een nanometer aan bewijs…)…..

Ach, Ko Colijn: een over een keeshondendrol getilde fantast, oorlogshitser en lobbyist voor de NAVO en het militair-industrieel complex! Moet je nagaan: deze hufter is bijzonder hoogleraar…… ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Logisch dat Nederlandse universiteiten niet bij de eerste 40 beste universiteiten zijn te vinden!

Sico van der Meer, een ‘deskundige’ van Clingendael was gistermorgen op BNR te horen over deze laatste gifgasaanval (rond 9.40 u.). Deze mislukte zakkenwasser sprak over de ‘Doomsday Club’, blijkbaar een nieuwe aanduiding voor de ‘Axis of Evil’  (toch vreemd dat daarin nooit de grootste terreurentiteit op aarde wordt genoemd, oh dom van mij, deze uitdrukking komt NB uit de VS!).

Volgens van der Meer heeft Syrië zonder meer chemische wapens, ook al kan hij daar geen flinter bewijs voor leveren, ach je roept het honderd keer en de goegemeente gelooft je wel……… Van der Meer maakte nog een uiterst vermakelijke vergissing, volgens hem is Rusland en de VS doende kleine kernwapens te maken, zodat bijvoorbeeld niet heel Amsterdam wordt weggevaagd, waar alleen het centrum……. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! De oorlogshitser heeft de klok horen luiden maar weet niet waar de klepel hangt!

Men is juist doende om kernwapens te maken die alleen bijvoorbeeld steden vernietigen maar niet de gebieden daarom heen……. Van der Meer een deskundige..?? ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!

En zo wordt het Nederlandse volk dag in dag uit voorgelogen door een stelletje mafketels, die als ‘deskundigen’ worden aangeduid………

Ondertussen beschuldigen een groot aantal landen, onder druk van zijne inhumane kwaadaardigheid en idem oorlogshitser Rex Tillerson Syrië en dit keer m.n. Rusland aan als schuldige voor de laatste aanval met gifgas……… Tja je bent bezig met de voorbereiding van een oorlog tegen Rusland of niet natuurlijk…….

En gedwee blijft het westen achter de grootste terreurentiteit op aarde, de VS aanlopen en dit gestolen land steunen in de vreselijke terreur die het verspreid………

Two
dozen countries agreed Tuesday to push for sanctions against
perpetrators of chemical attacks in Syria, with US Secretary of State
Rex Tillerson saying Russia “ultimately bears responsibility”
for such strikes.

Twenty-four
nations approved a new “partnership against impunity” for
the use of chemical weapons, just a day after reports they were used
in an attack that sickened 21 people in rebel-held Eastern Ghouta,
which Tillerson said was suspected to involve chlorine.

“Whoever
conducted the attacks, Russia ultimately bears responsibility for the
victims in East Ghouta and countless other Syrians targeted with
chemical weapons since Russia became involved in Syria,”
Tillerson said after the international meeting in Paris, and ahead of
further talks with ministers from several countries on ending the
conflict.

“There
is simply no denying that Russia, by shielding its Syrian ally, has
breached its commitments to the US as a framework guarantor”
overseeing the destruction of Syria’s chemical weapons stockpiles, as
agreed in September 2013, he added.

Despite
its pledge to destroy such weapons, the Syrian government has been
repeatedly accused of staging chemical attacks, with the United
Nations among those blaming it for an April 2017 sarin gas attack on
the opposition-held village of Khan Sheikhun which left scores dead.

There
have been at least 130 separate chemical weapons attacks in Syria
since 2012, according to French estimates, with the Islamic State
group also accused of using mustard gas in Syria and Iraq.

Bare
minimum

Russia
twice used its UN veto in November to block an extension of an
international expert inquiry into chemical attacks in Syria, to the
consternation of Western powers.

Russia’s
UN ambassador Vassily Nebenzia Tuesday rejected Tillerson’s
accusations and instead called for a “truly impartial”
international investigation of the chemical attacks.

Moscow,
backed by Iran and Turkey, has organised talks in the Russian city of
Sochi next week aimed at finding a resolution to the brutal and
multifaceted civil war.

Those
efforts are running parallel to talks overseen by the UN, with the
latest round due in Vienna on Thursday and Friday.

The
talks have so far failed to make progress in ending a war that has
left more than 340,000 people dead.

Tillerson
said that “Russia’s failure to resolve the chemical weapons
issue in Syria calls into question its relevance to the resolution of
the overall crisis”.

“At
a bare minimum, Russia must stop vetoing, or at the very least
abstain, from future Security Council votes on this issue,” he
said.

At
Tuesday’s meeting, 24 out of 29 countries attending committed to
sharing information and compiling a list of individuals implicated in
the use of chemical weapons in Syria and beyond.

These
could then be hit with sanctions such as asset freezes and entry bans
as well as criminal proceedings at the national level.

Ahead
of the meeting, France announced asset freezes against 25 Syrian
companies and executives, as well as French, Lebanese and Chinese
businesses accused of aiding government use of chemical weapons.

“The
criminals who take the responsibility for using and developing these
barbaric weapons must know that they will not go unpunished,”
said French foreign minister Jean-Yves Le Drian, who chaired
Tuesday’s meeting.

“The
current situation cannot continue.”

‘Worst
humanitarian crises’

Tillerson,
Le Drian and Britain’s Boris Johnson afterwards held a closed-door
meeting on Syria with the Saudi and Jordanian foreign ministers.

They
discussed how best to “provide backing and some concrete
reinforcement for UN efforts to advance the political process in
Geneva, constitutional reform and the preparation for the holding of
elections”, ahead of a series of meetings on Syria, a senior US
State Department official said, warning that “it’s going to take
time”.

Johnson
later hosted his US, Saudi Arabian and UAE counterparts at the
British Embassy to discuss the Yemen conflict in a whirlwind of
Middle Eastern diplomacy.

“The
conflicts in Syria and Yemen have created two of the worst
humanitarian crises of our time,” Johnson said ahead of the
meeting.

“There
can be no military solution to either conflict, only peaceful and
carefully negotiated political solutions will truly end the
suffering.”

The
Syrian war has grown even more complex in recent days with Turkey
launching a new ground operation against Kurdish militia who it
considers an offshoot of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).

Tillerson
met with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu in Paris on
Tuesday, though he did not hold a press conference to discuss their
talks.

Last
week Tillerson warned that the US would remain in Syria until the
situation was stable enough to remove President Bashar al-Assad from
office.

Het Ron
Paul Institute (for Peace and Prosperity) publiceerde afgelopen dinsdag een
artikel van Philip Giraldi, waarin deze uitlegt hoe de CIA al 70 jaar
lang de vinger in de internationale ‘opinepap’ houdt……

Als een
geheime dienst ‘fake news’ verspreidt, noemt men dit ‘desinformatie’,
wat in het geval van landen buiten de VS onder geheime acties valt. Geheime
acties om de publieke opinie te beïnvloeden, of ‘vijandige’
regeringen te destabiliseren en uiteindelijk ten val te brengen (neem
Venezuela, Honduras, Libie, Syrië en Oekraïne)

Lees dit
uitgebreide artikel over de smerige acties die de VS en dan m.n. haar
geheime diensten speelden en spelen in onze wereld……. Russiagate
is gebleken een FBI/Clinton leugen te zijn geweest, terwijl de CIA,
FBI en Clinton aangaven dat Rusland de boel had gemanipuleerd en

Years of Disinformation: How the CIA Funded Opinion Magazines in
Europe

When
an intelligence agency arranges to disseminated fake news it is
called “disinformation” and it is a subset of what is referred to
as covert action, basically secret operations run in a foreign
country to influence opinion or to disrupt the functioning of a
government or group that is considered to be hostile.

During
the Cold War, disinformation operations were run by many of the
leading players in both the North
Atlantic Treaty Organization and
in the opposition Warsaw
Pact.
Sometimes the activity and the sponsorship were clearly visible, as
when Radio Free Europe and Radio Moscow would exchange barbs about
just how bad daily life was in the opposition alliance. Sometimes,
however, it took the form of clandestinely placing stories in the
media that were clearly untrue but designed to shift public
perceptions of what was taking place in the world. The Vietnam War
provided a perfect proxy playing field, with stories emanating from
the US government and its supporters presenting a narrative of a
fight for democracy against totalitarianism while the Communist bloc
promoted a contrary tale of colonial and capitalist oppression of a
people striving to be free.

The
Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) inherited the mantle of covert
action operations as a legacy from its OSS predecessor, which had had
considerable success in conducting disinformation operations during
World War 2. But there was from the start considerable opposition to
continuing such programs as they were both expensive and subject to
devastating blowback when they were identified and exposed. In
Western Europe, powerful domestic communist parties were quick to
publicize US intelligence missteps, but nevertheless the ability to
manipulate the news and information media to place stories critical
of the Soviets and their allies led to major programs that funded
magazines and books while also seeking to acquire a cadre of
journalists that would produce pieces on demand proved too tempting
to ignore.

There
has been considerable ex post facto examination of the CIA’s use of
covert funding mechanisms including the Congress of Cultural Freedom
to fund writers and magazines in Europe, the best known of which
were The
Paris Review and Encounter out
of London. As there was a low intensity war going on against
communism, a conflict which many patriotic writers supported, funding
magazines and finding contributors to write appropriate material was
relatively easy and hardly challenged. Some senior editors knew or
strongly suspected where their funding was coming from while some did
not, but most didn’t ask any questions because then as now patrons
of literary magazines were in short supply. Many of the writers were
in the dark about the funding, but wrote what they did because of
their own personal political convictions. The CIA, seeking value for
money, would urge certain editorial lines but was not always very
aggressive in doing so as it sought to allow the process to play out
without too much interference.

Opinion
magazines were one thing, but penetrating the newspaper world was
quite a different story. It was easy to find a low or mid-level
journalist and pay him to write certain pieces, but the pathway to
actual publication was and is more complicated than that, going as it
does through several editorial levels before appearing in print. A
recent book cites
the belief that CIA had “an agent at a newspaper in every world
capital at least since 1977” who could be directed to post or kill
stories. While it is true that US Embassies and intelligence services
had considerable ability to place stories in capitals in Latin
America and parts of Asia, the record in Europe, where I worked, was
somewhat mixed. I knew of only one senior editor of a major European
newspaper who was considered to be an Agency resource, and even he
could not place fake
news as
he was answerable both to his editorial board and the conglomerate
that owned the paper. He also refused to take a salary from CIA,
which meant that his cooperation was voluntary and he could not be
directed.

CIA did indeed have a considerable number of
journalist “assets” in Europe but they were generally stringers
or mid-level and had only limited capability to actually shape the
news. They frequently wrote for publications that had little or no
impact. Indeed, one might reasonably ask whether the support of
literary magazines in the fifties and sixties which morphed into more
direct operations seeking journalist agents had any significant
impact at all in geopolitical terms or on the Cold War itself.

More
insidious was so-called Operation Mockingbird, which began in the
early 1950s and which more-or-less openly obtained the cooperation of
major American publications and news outlets to help fight communist
“subversion.” The activity was exposed by Seymour Hersh in 1975
and was further described by the Church Commission in 1976, after
which point CIA operations to influence opinion in the United States
became illegal and the use of American journalists as agents was also
generally prohibited. It was also learned that the Agency had been
working outside its founding charter to infiltrate student groups and
antiwar organizations under Operation Chaos, run by the CIA’s
controversial if not completely crazy counterintelligence Czar
James Jesus Angleton.

As
the wheel of government frequently ends up turning full circle, we
appear to be back in the age of disinformation, where the national
security agencies of the US government, including CIA, are now
suspected of peddling stories that are intended to influence opinion
in the United States and produce a political response. The
Steele Dossier on Donald Trump is
a perfect example, a report that surfaced through a deliberate series
of actions by then CIA Director John Brennan, and which was filled
with unverifiable innuendo intended to destroy the president-elect’s
reputation before he took office. It is undeniably a positive
development for all Americans who care about good governance that
Congress is now intending to investigate the dossier to determine who
ordered it, paid for it, and what it was intended to
achieve.
