Michelle Obama en massamedia proberen oorlogsmisdaden G.W. Bush weg te poetsen met een snoepje

Tijdens
de begrafenis van zijn vader, massamoordenaar en oorlogsmisdadiger
George H.W. Bush, gaf de nog grotere massamoordenaar en
oorlogsmisdadiger G.W. Bush, Michelle Obama een snoepje. Deze
handeling leidde tot een meer dan belachelijke en hysterische reactie
in de reguliere (massa-) media, waar men Bush als een geweldige en
gevoelige man afschilderde.

Deze
kontlikkerij van de reguliere media is niet alleen in het belang van
Bush, maar uiteraard ook van die media zelf, immers zij hebben
zonder enig onderzoek, laat staan kritiek de illegale oorlogen van die deze schoft begon van meet af aan gesteund (en zelfs nog daarvoor)……. Oorlogen tegen Afghanistan, Irak, Libië en Syrië, al
zijn de laatste 2 van die oorlogen aangegaan door de Obama administratie, zometeen meer
daarover.  Oh nee, dom van mij, de
oorlogen in Afghanistan en Irak zijn in feite nog steeds gaande en
hebben intussen aan meer dan 2 miljoen mensen uit die 2 landen het leven
gekost (alleen in Irak al meer dan 1,5 miljoen doden…..)….

Diezelfde
massamedia hebben ‘uiteraard’ ook de illegale oorlogen van de Obama
administratie uitentreuren gesteund. Het gaat dan om de illegale oorlogen tegen Libië en Syrië, naast een groot aantal geheime militaire operaties in
andere delen van Afrika, plus de opstand in Oekraïne, die door
Hillary Clinton, destijds minister van BuZa, werd georganiseerd
(i.s.m. de CIA) en waar de VS 4 miljard dollar aan spendeerde……..

Gevolg
van de gelukte opzet van die opstand in Oekraïne, een staatsgreep tegen de
democratisch gekozen regering Janoekovytsj, heeft ervoor gezorgd dat
de neonazi-junta van Porosjenko een oorlog begon tegen de Oekraïners in het oosten van het land, daar deze mensen niet wensten te leven
onder de neonazi-junta van Porosjenko en terecht goed pissig waren over de coup
tegen een o.a. door hen gekozen regering en president…….. 

Alle
leugens gefabriceerd door de VS over Oekraïne werden en worden zonder
enig commentaar overgenomen door de reguliere media, op aangeven van de geheime diensten van de VS en die van haar westerse partners….. Ga maar eens
na wat diezelfde media te vertellen zouden hebben als er bijvoorbeeld
eenzelfde staatsgreep zou hebben plaatsgevonden in een land als België…… De rapen zouden gaar zijn geweest en diezelfde media
zouden moord en brand hebben geschreeuwd…… (hoewel, zouden ze dat
ook doen als de VS ook in België de antidemocratische agressor zou
zijn geweest?)

Voorts
zijn er nog de moorden die de VS pleegt op verdachten, dit middels
drones….. Dit terreurprogramma werd door Bush opgezet en in veel groter aantal door de Obama
administratie overgenomen, intussen heeft Trump deze terreuraanslagen nog verder uitgebreid…… Hoe is het mogelijk dat zogenaamd
onafhankelijke mediaorganen niet met hevige kritiek op deze
standrechtelijke executies zijn gekomen, zeker nadat een paar jaar
geleden al bekend werd gemaakt dat meer dan 90% van de slachtoffers van die
VS terreuraanslagen, niet eens werden verdacht, dus vooral vrouwen en
kinderen…???

This
Isn’t News. This Is War Crimes Apologia.

The
fact that George W Bush has given Michelle Obama two pieces of candy
is once again making headlines in mainstream outlets like Time, The
Hill,
and Newsweek.
He has not given her any new pieces of candy since the last time he
did so at his father’s funeral. He also has not ceased to be the
man who facilitated the murder of a million Iraqis and inflicted a
whole new level of military expansionism and Orwellian surveillance
upon our world. As near as I can tell, the only reason this story is
once again making headlines is because Michelle Obama and the
mainstream media have decided to bring it up again.

“He
has the presence of mind and the sense of humor to bring me a mint,
and he made it a point to give me that mint right then and there and
that’s the beauty of George Bush,” Obama said of the war criminal
in conversation at the SAP Center over the weekend, which we
apparently need to know about because the news is telling us about
it.

“We’re
all Americans. We all care about our family and our kids, and we’re
trying to get ahead,” Obama continued. “And that’s how I feel
about [Bush]. You know? He’s a beautiful, funny, kind, sweet man.”

I have always respected Michelle Obama. But continuing to glorify a mass murderer responsible for the death of over a million defenseless innocent civilians, reflects more on her own character than on that of that despicable war criminal.

If
you’re starting to feel like attempts to rehabilitate George W
Bush’s image are being aggressively shoved down your throat by the
mass media at every opportunity, it’s because that is exactly what
is happening. Every few weeks there’s a new deluge of headlines
explaining to consumers of mainstream media why they should love the
43rd president because he’s such a cutesy wootsey cuddle pie, and
completely forget about the piles upon piles of human corpses he is
responsible for creating for no legitimate reason at all. The last
Bush appreciation blitz was less
than two weeks ago.

And
there is a reason for this. Make no mistake, this relentless,
aggressive campaign to rehabilitate George W Bush whether you like it
or not is actually a campaign to rehabilitate what he did and the
mass media’s unforgivable complicity in it.

The
mass media failed spectacularly to
practice due diligence and hold power to account in the lead-up to
the illegal and unconscionable Iraq invasion, not
just the ghouls at Fox News but
respected centrist outlets like CNN, the New
York Times and
the Washington
Post as
well. Bogus government reports were passed on uncritically and
unquestioned, antiwar demonstrations with hundreds of thousands of
protesters were ignored and downplayed, and the words “Saddam
Hussein” and “9/11” were deliberately mentioned in the same
breath so frequently that seven out of ten Americans still
believed Saddam was responsible for the September 11 attacks months
after the Iraq invasion had occurred.

In
an environment where the New
York Times is
instructing its readers how to “help
fight the information wars”
against Russia, the BBC is coaching
its audience to
scream the word “whataboutism” whenever a skeptic of
establishment Russia narratives brings up Iraq, and the US Secretary
of Defense is claiming that Putin is trying to “undermine
America’s moral authority,”
the massive credibility hit that imperial media and institutions took
by deceiving the world into the destruction of Iraq matters.
Propaganda is a lot more important in cold war than in hot war since
avoiding direct military confrontation limits the options of the
participants, and Iraq is a giant bullet hole in the narrative of US
moral authority which Moscow is rightly all too happy to point out.

Without
the claim of moral authority, none of America’s manipulations
against Russia make any sense. It’s absurd for America to spend
years shrieking about Russian election meddling after it openly
rigged Russia’s elections in
the nineties, unless America claims that it rigged Russia’s
elections for moral reasons while Russia rigged America’s elections
for immoral reasons. It makes no sense to have mainstream western
media outlets uncritically manufacturing support for wars and
coaching their audiences on how to help government agencies fight
“information wars” against Russia while also criticizing RT as
“state media”, unless you can say that western media functions as
an arm of the US government for moral reasons while RT does so for
immoral reasons. It makes no sense for the US to criticize Russian
military interventionism when the US is vastly more guilty of vastly
more egregious forms of military interventionism, unless the US can
claim its interventionism is moral while Russia’s is immoral.

For
this reason it’s been necessary to rehabilitate the image of the
Iraq invasion, and since there is no aspect of the Iraq invasion
itself that isn’t soaked in blood and gore, they are rehabilitating
its most recognizable face instead. Mainstream media outlets are
doing this both to restore their own credibility and the credibility
of the US world order they serve, in order to help secure crucial
narrative control as we slide ever closer to a direct
military confrontation with Russia and/or China.

Whoever
controls the narrative controls the world, and Iraq is a major weak
point in the US-centralized empire’s narrative control. When you
see a political insider like Michelle Obama constantly facilitating
the mass media’s fixation on how cuddly wuddly George W Bush has
become, you are not witnessing a heartwarming moment, you are not
witnessing redemption, and you are most certainly not witnessing the
news. You are witnessing war propaganda, plain and simple.

Russiagate: de westerse massamedia gebruiken propaganda om het volk te manipuleren, precies waar ze Rusland van beschuldigen

Gisteren
publiceerde Caitlin Johnstone een artikel met een kop waarin ze stelt
dat de hysterische massamedia eindelijk openlijk erkennen dat propaganda werkt.
Ze legt dit verder uit met te zeggen dat de reguliere (massa-)
media hebben ontdekt dat propaganda werkt, dit door het dag in dag uit op de oorlogstrommel slaan met de leugen
dat Rusland de verkiezingen in de VS heeft gestolen van Hillary
Clinton…….

Ben
het in deze niet eens met Johnstone, daar die reguliere media al ver
voor de presidentsverkiezingen van 2016 volop propaganda maakten,
neem alleen al de leugens van die media over Afghanistan, Irak, Libië en Syrië, leugens die mede aan de wieg stonden van grootschalige VS terreur tegen die landen, dit in
de vorm van illegale oorlogen…… 

Ondanks dat voor een ieder en zeker voor journalisten van de massamedia, duidelijk zou moeten zijn dat men het publiek heeft voorgelogen (over de landen waartegen de VS illegale oorlogen begon), immers daar zijn stapels bewijzen voor, blijven die media (alsook het grootste deel van de westerse politici) dezelfde leugens herhalen……….

Syrië?
Vraag je je misschien af. Ja, in feite geldt dit ook voor Syrië,
immers de VS was al vanaf 2006, onder opperschoft G.W. Bush, bezig
met het opzetten van een opstand in Syrië, die tot de afzetting van
Assad had moeten leiden….. Met grote graagte herhaalden de massamedia de leugens van o.a. de CIA over Syrië en dat al ver voor ‘de opstand…..’

Eén en ander zegt jammer genoeg niets over het in puin bombarderen van Syrië, waarvoor de VS als hoofdverantwoordelijke kan worden aangewezen….. ‘Opstand’ (middels buitenlandse
agitatoren en de CIA) geslaagd, coup mislukt, hetzelfde recept werkte overigens
wel in Oekraïne en als gevolg van die geslaagde staatsgreep tegen de
democratisch gekozen regering Janoekovytsj, voert de door de VS
geparachuteerde neonazi-junta Porosjenko oorlog tegen burgers, die het
terecht niet pikten dat de door hen gekozen regering werd
afgezet….. Ofwel de VS is ook verantwoordelijk voor de oorlog die de Porosjenko junta voert tegen de burgerbevolking van Oost-Oekraïne….

De
media hebben met hun propaganda het grootste deel van de westerse
bevolkingen overtuigd van de Russische bemoeienis met de
presidentsverkiezingen, het Brexit referendum en het Catalaanse
onafhankelijkheidsreferendum. Waar de media in de EU lidstaten de
Russen beschuldigden van zo ongeveer alles wat fout ging op
politiek-maatschappelijk gebied…..

Uiteraard
beseft men bij die media dat men openlijk meewerkt aan anti-Russische
propaganda, immers waar zou men als eerste door moeten hebben dat
claims van Russische manipulaties je reinste kul zijn? Juist, bij die
reguliere media! Media die met een claim op nationale veiligheid
al lang zijn gestopt met het zetten van vraagtekens bij
beschuldigingen waarvoor zelfs na 2 jaar niet één steekhoudend
bewijs werd geleverd……..

Ondanks
mijn bedenkingen geeft het artikel van Johnstone een duidelijk
(sarcastisch en bij tijd en wijle humoristisch) beeld van waar het om
gaat als je spreekt over Russiagate en de verdere anti-Russische propaganda
in de reguliere media. Nogmaals wijst Johnstone (volkomen terecht) op de minimale bedragen waarmee Rusland zogenaamd de VS presidentsverkiezingen zou hebben beïnvloed, terwijl de bedragen waarmee deze verkiezingen wel worden beïnvloed, de ‘Russische bedragen voor eenzelfde invloed’ volkomen in de schaduw stellen….. 

Om nog maar te zwijgen (niet dus) over het optreden van de Israëlische Palestijnenslachter en premier Netanyahu in de VS senaat, maanden voor de presidentsverkiezingen, waar deze massamoordenaar de democraten afmaakte en de republikeinen (onder Trump) voor Israël als enig aanvaardbare toekomstige regering afschilderde…… Geen hond in de reguliere (massa-) media die hier grote ophef over maakte, terwijl dit toch echt veel verder ging dan de leugens over het kwaadaardige sprookje dat men ‘Russiagate’ noemt…….

now the question becomes: how did Russia know to target African
American voters, and especially in certain key states,” asked popular
#Resistance pundit Amy Siskind in response to a New
York Times article claiming
Russian social media trolls targeted Sanders supporters and Black
voters during the 2016 election.

“I
think we’ll get our answers in the coming months from the Mueller
probe,” Siskind speculated.

Well
that’s a mighty good question there, Amy, and I think the answer is
pretty obvious. Clearly Russia knew to target African American voters
because Donald Trump called his boss Vladimir Putin and told him
about America’s secret racial issues, which nobody in any foreign
country could ever know about on their own. Then it was a simple
matter of sending the trolls of St Petersburg’s Internet Research
Agency to trick black people into thinking that the American
political system hasn’t been working for them, thereby ensuring the
defeat of the rightful heir to the presidential throne, Hillary
Rodham Clinton. It’s not disenfranchised voters’ fault that
Hillary’s coronation failed to take place, it’s the fault of
Russian memes on social media which confused their silly heads about
who they wanted to vote for!

Or,
alternate theory: everything about that question is immensely stupid.

Russian 2016 Influence Operation Targeted African-Americans on Social Media

Two reports commissioned by the Senate Intelligence Committee take a deeper look at the fake social media accounts used by Russia in the American election.

This
whole story is unbelievably idiotic. Not just because it’s based on
a report by a private cybersecurity company that was founded
by an NSA veteran,
a company which would have every incentive to bend its findings in
the most sensational way possible to attract clients with a viral new
“bombshell” story about Russian election meddling. Not just
because it infantilizes voters by implying that a smattering of
cutesy memes deprived them of independent agency and caused the
failure of Hillary Clinton’s historically awful presidential
campaign. Not just because of the sleazy gaslighting element inherent
in a narrative which insinuates that a populace meant to elect a
different candidate but got confused. By far the dumbest thing about
this story is the implicit suggestion that only Russian propaganda
was at play during the 2016 election, and no other propaganda.

It’s
often claimed that the dastardly Russians had a $1.2 million monthly
budget for US social media influence in the lead-up to the 2016
election, but that’s false. As Aaron Maté noted
back in February,
this figure actually covers the Russian troll farm’s total
operating budget, which was for “domestic audiences within the
Russian Federation and others targeting foreign audiences in various
countries, including the United States.” So the actual monthly
budget was some thousands of dollars, and most of the troll farm’s
posts weren’t
even about the election.
Contrast that with Hillary Clinton’s $1.2
billion campaign budget and
the untold billions of dollars worth of free mass media coverage she
received, and even if everything we’re being told about Russia’s
“influence campaign” is completely true, that’s a microscopic
drop in the bucket.

FiveThirtyEight
editor-in-chief Nate Silver, a fairly reliable establishment
loyalist, tweeted
today about
the new Russia report saying “If you wrote out a list of the most
important factors in the 2016 election, I’m not sure that Russian
social media memes would be among the top 100. The scale was quite
small and there’s not much evidence that they were effective.”

“For
instance, this story makes a big deal about a (post-election) Russian
social media disinformation campaign on Bob Mueller based on… 5,000
tweets? That’s **nothing**. Platform-wide, there are something like
500,000,000 tweets posted each day,” Silver continued.

What fraction of overall social media impressions on the 2016 election were generated by Russian troll farms? 0.1%? I’m not sure what the answer is, but suspect it’s low, and it says something that none of the reports that hype up the importance of them address that question.

For
all the fearmongering we see in the mass media about “Russian
propaganda”, propaganda from Russia actually constitutes an almost
nonexistent percentage of the media westerners consume which is
designed to influence the way they think, act and vote. You can go
your whole life without ever encountering any propaganda that was
cooked up by the Kremlin, yet every day you are surrounded
by screens,
billboards and literature aimed at manipulating you into supporting
the corporatist oligarchy that rules the nation you live in. The only
reason anyone thinks Russian psyops have any kind of meaningful
influence on people’s minds is because the mass media have been
shrieking about it day in and day out for two years without ever
contrasting it with the rest of the propaganda they consume.

But
within all the hysterical hand-wringing about Russian propaganda
there is an important admission: these mass media talking heads are
all openly acknowledging that there exists a science for manipulating
the minds of the public, and that it is very effective. Now if they
could only admit that they are the world’s greatest practitioners
of this science, they’d be telling the full story.

Of
course, that’s the part of the story they’ll never tell you. They
tell you their concern is that Russians are trying to manipulate your
mind with propaganda, but really their concern is that they want to
be the only ones manipulating your mind with propaganda. They tell
you Russian propaganda is so dangerous that it’s necessary to
censor the internet and hide all narratives which aren’t in line
with the ruling establishment in order to protect democracy, but
really all they want is to have full control of the narratives you
consume. This is evidenced in the
article by the Washington
Post which
kicked off this latest round of Russia panic, which reports the

following:

The
report expressed concern about the overall threat social media poses
to political discourse within nations and among them, warning that
companies once viewed as tools for liberation in the Arab world and
elsewhere are now threats to democracy.

“Social
media have gone from being the natural infrastructure for sharing
collective grievances and coordinating civic engagement to being a
computational tool for social control, manipulated by canny political
consultants and available to politicians in democracies and
dictatorships alike,” the report said.

Of all the absolute mountains of propaganda produced every election cycle, we’re supposed to believe the minuscule fraction of Russian stuff (probably .000001% of total propaganda produced) was somehow decisive. No one has *ever* explained how that even remotely makes sense.

It is indeed very effective, and it has been developed, refined and
perfected for
over a century.
Propaganda works, and even establishment mouthpieces like the New
York Times and
the Washington
Post admit
it.

Patiënten in Irak sterven daar de farmaceutische maffia de medicijnprijzen drastisch heeft verhoogd

De bevolking van Irak leeft nog steeds
onder dreiging van, moord en doodslag, nadat de VS en haar
bondgenoten in 2003 een illegale oorlog tegen hun vader/moederland
begonnen…….. Deze oorlog heeft tot nu toe aan meer dan 1,5
miljoen Irakezen het leven gekost, ofwel ze zijn in feite vermoord
door de westerse terreurcoalitie waar godbetert ons land aan mee
heeft gewerkt*, zelfs al in aanloop van die oorlog…. 

Alsof de ellende voor het Iraakse volk
al niet ‘meer dan voldoende is’, hebben de lokale bedrijven van de grote farmaceuten in Irak besloten
de prijzen te verhogen en niet een klein beetje ook…… Grote
farmaceuten uit Europa en de VS besloten de prijzen van medicatie soms
wel drie keer in prijs te verhogen……

Deze farmaceuten zijn goed voor een
wereldomzet van rond de biljoen dollar per jaar, maar blijkbaar maalt
men er daar niet om als mensen overlijden terwijl er in feite
goedkope medicijnen zijn te krijgen voor de aandoeningen waar de patiënten aan lijden……

Moet je nagaan: deze farmaceuten
schermen keer op keer met het cliché dat de ontwikkeling van
medicijnen nu eenmaal uiterst kostbaar is, terwijl in de prijs die wordt
berekend ook de marketingskosten zijn meegerekend, die zijn gemiddeld
30 keer zo hoog als de ontwikkelingskosten van het bepaalde nieuwe
medicijn……

Het kan nog gekker beste bezoeker, deze
georganiseerde farmaceutische misdadigers zijn al vele malen in het
nieuws geweest, daar ze oude medicijnen met een kostprijs van soms
maar 20 cent per pil, verkopen voor meer dan 100 euro (sommigen
met een prijs van onder de euro, kosten nu zelfs meer dan € 200,–
per pil!!!) Over die ‘oude medicijnen’: het farmatuig gaat tegenwoordig al zover, dat ze voor het aflopen van een patent, een kleinigheid aan de ‘formule’ veranderen, zodat het medicijn niet patentvrij nagemaakt mag worden…… 

Je snapt dat met specialistische
medicijnen, zoals die voor kanker, de prijzen helemaal door het dak
gaan……. Gevolg is dat niet alleen in Irak, maar in vele landen, zelfs in de VS, mensen nodeloos sterven daar ze zich, vanwege hun inkomen, de benodigde medicatie niet kunnen veroorloven……….

De hoogste tijd dat farmaceuten grondig worden aangepakt i.p.v. verdedigd door de reguliere westerse media en politiek. Afgelopen week hoorde ik BNR’s petrolhead en volvette oliebol van Werven de farmaceuten nog verdedigen, met het al eerder genoemde volledig versleten cliché dat ze zoveel moeten investeren in nieuwe medicijnen…….. 

De grote farmaceuten zouden zelfs door het Internationaal Strafhof vervolgd moeten worden voor het moedwillig in levensgevaar brengen en zelfs vermoorden van grote groepen mensen, daar ze hen de benodigde medicijnen ontzeggen door belachelijk hoge prijzen voor goedkope medicatie te berekenen, terwijl deze farmaceuten al schathemelrijk zijn….. Waar het wereldwijd oplichten van klanten door de grote farmaceuten, althans vergeleken met het voorgaande, nog maar een ‘lichte misdaad’ is…..

In het volgende artikel van Middle East Monitor (MEMO) wordt gesproken over de farmaceuten in Irak die samen met ‘mensen’ in de politiek de prijzen van bepaalde medicijnen onbetaalbaar hebben gemaakt voor veel Irakezen, echter het is toch wel verdomd opvallend dat hetzelfde mechanisme over praktisch de hele wereld zo werkt…….. En dan nogmaals: de meest belangrijke medicijnen komen tocht echt van de grote westerse farmaceuten, die uiteraard ook in Irak medicatie produceren, dan wel importeren………. Dezelfde farmaceuten die er niet om malen een politicus om te kopen voor nog meer gewin op de al enorme winsten……. (er zou eens een onderzoek ingesteld moeten worden hoeveel de farmaceutische maffia besteedt aan het bewerken van de politiek middels lobbyen, reken maar dat dit een niet ‘misselijk’ bedrag is…..)

Scores
of Iraqis are dying because they cannot afford prescription medicines
which are being kept high, Al-Araby Al-Jadeed reported
yesterday.

According
to the news site, prices are being kept high by people who have links
to executives in the Iraqi government and control the medicine
market. This has left the Ministry of Health unable to make urgent
medicines affordable such as those for cancer, kidney, heart and
nerve diseases.

Most
of the firms producing medicines in Iraq are connected to
politicians, government officials or other executives in the country
who protect them when they raise prices, Al-Araby
Al-Jadeed said, noting that some of the medicines, which
used to be offered to patients for free, are being sold for $200.

Speaking
anonymously to the London-based news website, an official in the
Iraqi Ministry of Health said that prices of some of the medicines
are being multiplied three times.

“Citizens
are obliged to buy the medicines because there are no alternatives at
hospitals,” the official said.

He
added: “There are pharmaceutical companies considered the mafia …
as they control the pharmaceutical sector, prevent the resumption of
work in factories which produce the medicines and put pressure on the
Ministry of Health in order to prevent imports of certain medicines
by the government.”

Een
nieuw rapport dat is uitgekomen over de bemoeienis van de VS met de
genocide die de Saoedische terreurcoalitie uitvoert in Jemen, spreekt
van grote onregelmatigheden in de boekhouding van het Pentagon…….
Het zou gaan om vele tientallen miljoenen dollars…..

Moet je
nagaan, dan zijn er in Nederland en in de meeste andere NAVO landen
anders dan de VS, figuren die stellen dat we veel te weinig uitgeven
aan defensie, waarbij ze naar de VS wijzen, er niet bij vertellend
dat de VS de laatste 17 jaar continue in illegale oorlogen was
verwikkeld, waarbij de NAVO, haar eigenlijke bevelhebber, de grootste terreurentiteit op aarde, t.w. de
VS steunt in haar ongebreidelde en smerige terreur……

Het
voorgaande is nog maar één voorbeeld, waaruit duidelijk zou moeten
zijn dat de VS een achterlijk godsvermogen aan belasting uitgeeft
voor illegale oorlogsvoering…….. Als we een voorbeeld aan de VS moeten
nemen, hoort daar ook een uitermate slechte boekhouding bij, immers
de VS is o.a. door die boekhouding al honderden miljarden kwijtgeraakt in de loop van de
jaren…… (ook wapenleveranties aan terreurgroepen in Syrië werden niet verantwoord in de boeken, ofwel die fouten in de boekhouding zijn voor een groot deel expres gemaakt….) Overigens als ons oorlogsapparaat efficiënt zou worden
geleid, zou ook Nederland vele miljoenen kunnen besparen…..

Echter
het meest valt te verdienen door niet meer deel te nemen aan de
terreur van de VS, zoals Nederland dat deed in: -Afghanistan, een
totaal zinloze illegale oorlog, -Irak, een illegale oorlog waarin tot nu toe
NB meer dan 1,5 miljoen mensen zijn vermoord….., -Libië, eens het
rijkste en meest vooruitstrevende land van Afrika, nu straatarm, gedompeld
in terreur, waar godbetert openlijk slaven worden verkocht en waar als resultaat nu ook Mali is veranderd in oorlogsgebied, waar Nederland ook al een rol speelt (die stopt op 1 januari a.s.) en
als laatste -Syrië, al evenzeer in puin gebombardeerd, waar de VS al
vanaf 2006 bezig was met de voorbereiding van de opstand die tot het
afzetten van de democratisch gekozen president Assad had moeten
leiden……… Tijd dat iemand eens uitrekent hoeveel de Nederlandse belastingbetaler in totaal heeft bijgedragen aan de ongebreidelde VS terreur.

– Amid
a push by the Senate to vote on ending US support for the Saudi-led
coalition waging war in Yemen this week, a new report indicates that
American tankers have been refueling Saudi coalition jets with gas
paid for by US taxpayers because of “errors in accounting.”

Millions
of dollars have likely been drained from US coffers
to support the Saudi-campaign, according to the report.

Though
Washington “believed” Riyadh and the United Arab Emirates “had
been charged for the fuel and refueling services, they in fact
had not been charged adequately,” wrote William S. Castle,
principal deputy general counsel at the Office of the
Secretary of Defense, in a November 27 letter obtained
by The Atlantic.

In
the letter, one of the Pentagon’s top attorneys acknowledges
that free refueling services for the Saudi coalition cost more
money than he could calculate. While one might think that
someone at the 3 million-person organization that is the
Pentagon would know exactly how much the US is owed, Castle said
in the letter that the department is “currently calculating
the correct charges.” The Pentagon reached its conclusion
following an inquiry sent by Senator Jack Reed, a Democrat
from Rhode Island who sits as the second most powerful
member of the Senate Armed Services Committee.

Tens
of millions of dollars is probably a decent estimate of how
much US taxpayers have contributed to the Saudi campaign,
according to The Atlantic.

A
spokesperson from the Pentagon confirmed the letter’s contents
and its authenticity to the publication late last week.

“Although
DoD has received some reimbursement for inflight refueling
assistance provided to the Saudi-led coalition (SLC), US Central
Command recently reviewed its records and found errors in accounting
where DoD failed to charge the SLC adequately for fuel and
refueling services,” said Commander Rebecca Rebarich, speaking
to The Atlantic.

A
spokesperson for CENTCOM specifically said the command was
“still working through the calculation” of how much the
Saudi coalition has paid for the refueling services and jet
fuel.

In
other military finance news, the Pentagon failed its first-ever audit
last month, as accountants found myriad discrepancies in the
department’s books that may take years to reconcile. “We
failed the audit, but we never expected to pass it,”
said Deputy Secretary of Defense Patrick Shanahan.

Obama steekt zichzelf volkomen onterecht een grote veer in de vieze bips

Obama,
godbetert Nobelprijs voor de Vrede winnaar, reageerde op een vraag
over wie voor de Democratische partij zou moeten opgaan voor de
presidentsverkiezingen van 2020, specifiek werd hem gevraagd naar
Beto, ofwel Robert
Francis O’Rourke, een miljardairszoon die goed ligt bij de misdadige
Hillary Clinton clan in die partij. Dit is het antwoord van Obama:

“The
reason I was able to make a connection with a sizeable portion of the
country was because people had a sense that I said what I meant. And
that’s a quality that, as I look at what I’m sure will be a strong
field of candidates in 2020, many of whom are friends of mine and
whom I deeply respect — what I oftentimes am looking for first
and foremost is, do you seem to mean it?”

ha!
ha! ha! ha! ha! Obama durft te stellen dat een groot deel van het VS
volk op hem stemde omdat hij meende wat hij zei……

Welnu,
Obama beloofde, voor dat hij werd gekozen tot president, dat hij een eind
zou maken aan de oorlog in Afghanistan en Irak. Eenmaal geïnstalleerd als president kwam daar geen bliksem van terecht, sterker nog: Obama
is de eerste president (de plork mag zich levenslang president
noemen) die de VS de volle twee termijnen in oorlogen verwikkeld hield…… Sterker nog: Obama begon zelfs twee illegale oorlogen en liet een
ongelofelijk aantal mensen vermoorden met drone-aanvallen, ofwel de
standrechtelijke executie van verdachten, waarbij meer dan 90% van de
slachtoffers niet eens verdacht werd van misdaden, dus vooral vrouwen
en kinderen……

Dit
alles nog naast het organiseren van staatsgrepen onder Obama door zijn minister van buitenlandse zaken, Hillary Clinton in Honduras en Oekraïne tegen democratisch gekozen regeringen, staatsgrepen die
gepaard gingen met de moord op een fiks aantal mensen, waar de door
de VS gewilde ‘presidenten’, beter gezegd: junta leiders, hebben gezorgd voor een groot aantal bloedbaden in deze landen…….

Obama is een oorlogsmisdadiger die na een veroordeling door het Internationaal Strafhof (ICC) in Den Haag, al lang voor het leven gevangen
zou moeten zitten in Scheveningen…….

Obama
beloofde de bankiers aan te pakken, echter ook daar kwam niets van
terecht, het is zelfs zo belachelijk dat hij zijn tweede termijn voor
een groot deel aan de grote bankiers had te danken, middels de enorme
bedragen die zij Obama toestopten…..

Obama
beloofde een eind te maken aan de discriminatie van gekleurde VS
burgers, echter ook dat heeft hij amper of niet gedaan en de
gekleurden werden net zo hard doodgeschoten door VS politie als het
geval was onder zijn voorganger, imbeciel George W. Bush……

Obama
beloofde een verkleining van de inkomensverschillen en het arme deel
van de VS bevolking zou erop vooruitgaan, ook daarvoor deed hij als
president veel te weinig…….

Conclusie:
Obama is een smerige leugenaar, een wolf in schaapskleren!!

Brandon
Turbeville schreef op Activist Post een artikel over de steeds
terugkerende hulp van de VS aan terreurgroep, zelfs aan IS (ISIS). Het was
overigens al bekend dat de VS mede aan de wieg stond van IS, iets dat
uiteraard als samenzweringstheorie en ‘fake news’ (nepnieuws) wordt weggezet. 

In het artikel spreekt Turbeville ook over wapenleveringen aan IS in Irak, een zaak die al bekend was, maar die niet door de reguliere westerse media werden gemeld….. Daarover gesproken: het is ongelofelijk dat die reguliere media willens en wetens zoveel informatie achterhouden dan wel liegen over die informatie…….

Although
the United States government routinely denies that it in any way
cooperates with ISIS, reports continue to manifest themselves
demonstrating exactly the opposite, particularly in Syria. Over the
course of the war and ever since the emergence of the terrorist
organization on the world scene, there have been a number of
“mysterious helicopters” that extract ISIS fighters from
battlefields in which they are facing imminent defeat either by the
legitimate government of the countries in which they are fighting,
pro-government militias, or even ahead of “anti-ISIS” strikes by
the alleged “anti-ISIS coalition.”

While
not attempting to go in to a detailed explanation or analysis of each
incident, below are a number of reports of such “airlifts of evil”
that have surfaced over the last two years. The Pentagon, as
mentioned above, has repeatedly denied these
reports.

November
10-11, 2018 – SANA reported that a US-led aircraft landed
in Deir ez-Zour Province, near the outskirts of al-Susah, taking away
three ISIS members.

October
7, 2018 –
SANA quoted residents of the town al-Shaafah, who reported that
American helicopters had evacuated ISIS commanders from Abu Kamal in
Deir ez-Zour province. There was no word as to where the fighters
were taken.

September
22, 2018 – SANA reported that the US-led coalition carried
out an “air landing operation” on the outskirts of al-Mrashde
village, which was located in the same area where ISIS militants had
spread out. This area is in the southeastern countryside of Deir
ez-Zor. The report claimed that the flights transferred a number of
ISIS commanders.

August
23, 2018 – TASS reported that Russia had recorded
mysterious helicopter flights to ISIS units in Afghanistan which
transported weapons to the militants.

“We
would like to once again point to the flights of unidentified
helicopters in northern Afghanistan, which deliver weapons and
ammunition to local ISIL units and Taliban members cooperating with
the group. In particular, the Afghan media and local residents say
that such helicopters were seen in the Sar-e Pol Province,” Russian
Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.

March
19, 2018 – SANA cited an anonymous source who claimed that
three US military helicopters evacuated suspected ISIS commanders
from areas in Northeastern Syria. It was reported that the
helicopters landed between al-Jissi and Kalu, 2 km south of the
township of Tal Hamis in the Qamlishi District of al-Hasakah
Province.

February,
2018 – Syrian state media reported the transportation of
ISIS commanders and their family members to Sabah al-Khair by US
helicopters. Sabah al-Khair is about 20km south of al-Hasakah, where
all signs point to the US operating a terrorist training base there.

December
29, 2017 – SANA reported that US helicopters evacuated
ISIS commanders from the Deir ez-Zour province to the al-Hasakah
province in northeastern Syria. Sources report that this is the
second time that the US evacuated ISIS fighters.

May,
2017 – Anonymous local Syrian sources revealed that US
military helicopters had evacuated ISIS commanders from their
previous stronghold in Raqqa and taking them to an “undisclosed
location.”

May
2017 – Governor of Afghanistan’s northern Sar-e Pol
province, Mohammad Zahir Wahdat, claimed that the unmarked military
helicopters had touched down briefly in a known militant stronghold
area. Because it happened at night, Afghan security forces were
unable to take pictures.

January,
2015 –
Although the majority of these reports took place in 2018-2017, we
cannot forget reports that emerged earlier such as the one
in January,
2015 where
Iraqi Member of Parliament Majid al-Gharawi stated that all
information available “pointed out that US planes are supplying
ISIL organization, not only in Salahuddin province, but also other
provinces,” according to Iraq TradeLink.

He
also stated that the United States is “not serious in fighting
against the ISIL organization, because they have the technological
power to determine the presence of ISIL gunmen and destroy them in
one month [but have not done so].”

Gharawi
suggested that the “the US is trying to expand the time of the war
against the ISIL to get guarantees from the Iraqi government to have
its bases in Mosul and Anbar provinces.”

It
is important to mention that, according to FARS News, the Iraqi
Parliamentary Security and Defense Commission revealed that a US
plane did indeed supply ISIS with arms and ammunition in the
Salahuddin province in Iraq, yet that revelation has received little
to no coverage in the West.

In
late December, 2014, yet another Iraqi lawmaker, Nahlah
al-Hababi, questioned the motives and commitment of the US and its
anti-ISIL coalition and claimed that the terrorist groups are
actually receiving a large amount of aid dropped by unidentified
aircraft.

Hababi
is quoted by FARS News Agency as stating “The international
coalition is not serious about air strikes on ISIL terrorists and is
even seeking to take out the popular Basij (voluntary) forces from
the battlefield against the Takfiris so that the problem with ISIL
remains unsolved in the near future.”

“Basij”
is a term that largely means “volunteer” as in volunteer forces.

She
also was quoted as saying that “The ISIL terrorists are still
receiving aids from unidentified fighter jets in Iraq and Syria.”

FARS
also quotes Hababi as pointing out that the airstrikes launched by
NATO are only launched in areas where Kurdish Peshmerga forces are
fighting, while such strikes launched in other areas are “not so
precise.” The suggestion, of course, is that the “coalition”
has a vested interest in supporting the Kurdish forces while, at the
same time, supporting ISIS in the process of weakening Syria’s
Assad, Iraqi nationalism, and presumably, Iranian influence. Clearly,
Hababi is not far off from the reality of the situation.

As
FARS writes,

In
late December, the US-led coalition dropped aids to the Takfiri
militants in an area North of Baghdad.

Field
sources in Iraq told al-Manar that the international coalition
airplanes dropped aids to the terrorist militants in Balad, an area
which lies in Salahuddin province North of Baghdad.

In
October, a high-ranking Iranian commander also slammed the US for
providing aid supplies to ISIL, adding that the US claims that the
weapons were mistakenly airdropped to ISIL were untrue.

“The
US and the so-called anti-ISIL coalition claim that they have
launched a campaign against this terrorist and criminal group –
while supplying them with weapons, food and medicine in Jalawla (a town in Diyala Governorate, Iraq). This explicitly displays
the falsity of the coalition’s and the US’ claims,” Deputy
Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Brigadier General Massoud
Jazayeri said.

The
US claimed that it had airdropped weapons and medical aid to Kurdish
fighters confronting the ISIL in Kobani, near the Turkish border in
Northern Syria.

The
US Defense Department said that it had airdropped 28 bundles of
weapons and supplies, but one of them did not make it into the hands
of the Kurdish fighters.

Video
footage later showed that some of the weapons that the US airdropped
were taken by ISIL militants.

The
question of such “convenient accidents” are by no means unique to
the Middle Eastern, Iraqi, or Iranian press reports, however. These
types of “mistakes” happen on a seemingly regular basis in areas
where the United States is allegedly fighting the very terrorist
organization it created.

November,
2014 –
Iraqi intelligence agents disclosed that the United States was
supplying ISIS with weapons and food. Once report from Iranian news
agency FARS
News stated,

Iraqi
intelligence sources disclosed that US military planes have been
supplying the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant Takfiri terrorists
with weapons and foodstuff under the guise of air raids on militants’
positions.

The
Iraqi forces have found out that the US aircraft usually airdrop arms
and food cargoes for ISIL militants who collect them on the ground,
Asia news agency quoted Iraqi army’s intelligence officers as
saying.

“The
Iraqi intelligence sources reiterated that the US military planes
have airdropped several aid cargoes for ISIL terrorists to help them
resist the siege laid by the Iraqi army, security and popular
forces,” added the report.

On
Saturday, Iraqi security sources disclosed that the ISIL terrorist
group is using the state-of-the-art weapons which are only
manufactured by the US and each of their bullets are worth thousands
of dollars.

“What
is important is that the US sends these weapons to only those that
cooperate with the Pentagon and this indicates that the US plays a
role in arming the ISIL,” an Iraqi security source told FNA.

The
source noted that the most important advantage of the US-made weapons
used by the ISIL is that “these bullets pierce armored vehicles and
kill the people inside the vehicle”.

He
said each of such bullets is worth $2,000, and added, “These
weapons have killed many Iraqi military and volunteer forces so far.” 

The
crisis in Iraq escalated after the ISIL militants took control of
Mosul in a lightning advance on June 10, which was followed by the
fall of Tikrit, located 140 kilometers (87 miles) Northwest of the
capital, Baghdad.

Soldiers
of the Iraqi army, popular forces and Kurdish Pishmarga troops have
been engaged in heavy fighting with the militants on different fronts
and have so far been able to push them back in several areas.

October,
2014 –
“Coalition” forces dropped
a number of aid supplies and ammunition allegedly
intended for the Iraqi people and anti-Isis forces on the ground into
territory controlled by ISIS. The “mistake” was confirmed by
Iraqi officials and parliamentarians.

October
2014 –
An airdrop
of weapons,
allegedly dumped accidentally, found itself landing directly into the
hands of ISIS in Ayn al-Arab (Kobani).

As
SouthFront reports,

The
Pentagon has repeatedly denied this reports claiming that it is not
cooperating with ISIS in any kind. However, the problem is that the
US military also denies that it has reached any kind of deals with
ISIS in Manbij and Raqqah, which
is an obvious lie.
So, as reports about US helicopters evacuating ISIS members or
providing supplies to them continue to appear, the concern is growing
that Washington is still using ISIS as a tool in its geopolitical
standoff with other powers.

In
addition, Conflict Armament Research reported years ago that ISIS
fighters use “significant quantities” of arms including M16
assault rifles marked “property of the US government.”

It
is also
well known that
ISIS was a product of a massive terrorist organization
and training strategy
undertaken by the United States, GCC, Jordan, and Turkey.

In
June, 2014, Aaron
Klein,
writing for WorldNetDaily, reported that members of ISIS were trained
in 2012 by U.S. instructors working at a secret base in Jordan,
according to informed Jordanian officials.

The
Syrian military has repeatedly uncovered huge caches of American
weapons in territory liberated from ISIS. One such report from
November, 2017 (Sputnik International – “Warehouse
Full Of US-Made ‘Lethal Weapons’ Found By Syrian Army,),
stated,

The
Syrian Army has liberated new quarters of Deir ez-Zor from Daesh
terrorists. During the operation the army found large warehouses with
a huge number of lethal weapons. The Syrian military source told
Sputnik Arabic what exactly these warehouses were storing.

According
to the Syrian military source there were a lot of US-made weapons and
military equipment of Western European and Israeli production. Apart
from M-16 automatic rifles there were TOW anti-tank missile systems
and 155 mm US field guns.

“There
were also Hummers, which were either used to transport
people or
were stuffed with bombs inside ready to explode. Israeli intelligence
reconnaissance aircraft and a modern Israeli protective suit for
conducting sapper work have also been found,” the source told
Sputnik Arabic.

The
source also said that tech for air and ground reconnaissance,
satellite communications and bags with C-4 explosives were also
discovered inside these warehouses.

There
were also boxes with ammunition and weapons stored in the underground
shelters, while tanks and cars were covered with a camouflage net to
protect against Russian and Syrian airstrikes.

The
Inside Syria Media Center website quoted Syrian Brigade General Ali
al-Ali as saying that the United States illegally delivered at least
1,500 trucks with weapons and military equipment to terrorists in
Syria between June 5 and September 15 of this year.

Although
Washington said that these weapons were intended for US allies, they
always fell into the hands of terrorists, the general said.

According
to the website, the Austrian Glock 19 pistol is the most popular
weapon among Daesh
militants.
Back in 2014, terrorists posted execution videos, in which those
pistols were used.

Later
it was discovered that these pistols were delivered to Iraqi law
enforcement bodies in 2003-2004.

According
to the brigade general, the M-16 assault rifles became a symbol of
crisis in Syria. The Syrian
Armyhas
repeatedly found boxes containing weapons that read “US Property.”
Hence statements suggesting that these were Chinese copies are
probably incorrect.

Furthermore,
the Syrian Army on a number of occasions found the light automatic FN
FAL rifle, which is a weapon used by the NATO. This rifle is equipped
with a sniper scope and is generally used in urban dwellings.

In
addition, Daesh terrorists have also used Heckler & Koch’s MP5
submachine gun, popular with US and European law enforcement
agencies.

Such
weapons caches have been appearing in a number of liberated areas not
only those held by Daesh (ISIS) but also in those held by terrorist
organizations like al-Nusra Front/al-Qaeda, an organization that is
nothing more than a branch
of ISIS.

In het BBC Scotland nieuws van 11.00 u. het bericht dat er gezeur is ontstaan in de VS over het te vroeg neerzetten ‘door Trump van de traditionele kerstboom’ voor of in het Witte Huis (dat is me niet duidelijk en te onbenullig om na te zoeken)……. De VS steunt de genocide in Jemen militair en politiek, maar er ontstaat gekibbel over het te vroeg neerzetten van de Witte Huis kerstboom……

Het is overigens duidelijk dat Trump e.e.a. doet voor zijn arme achterban…… Een werkloze Trump stemmer: “Je kan zeggen wat je wilt over Trump en hij doet inderdaad veel voor de welgestelden en grote bedrijven, maar je kan zien dat hij werkelijk met ons is begaan, want hij doet precies wat wij doen met onze plastic kerstboom: deze al rond 20 november neerzetten!”

ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!

Om nog eens aan te geven dat het hiervoor aangehaalde fantasie relaas van een werkloze VS burger* niet geheel uit de lucht is gegrepen, was Trump zelf bij de aflevering van deze kerstboom, iets dat in de geschiedenis niet eerder is gebeurd…….

Nu nog een extra kerstwens: je zou bijna hopen dat het Witte Huis wordt gebombardeerd met het door de VS industrie gefabriceerde verboden chemische wapen witte fosfor en dat op kerstavond, zodat we kunnen spreken van een Witte Kerst over het Witte Huis! (witte fosfor waarmee de Trump administratie dorpen en steden in Irak bombardeerde en waarmee de VS nog steeds dorpen en steden in Syrië bombardeert……)

* De werkloosheid in de VS zou sterk zijn teruggelopen, echter zoals ook in Nederland, worden hele grote groepen werklozen niet eens meegeteld in het totale aantal werklozen…….. Op Venezuelanalysis.com werd vorige week woensdag een artikel gepubliceerd
over het tekort aan medische apparatuur en medicijnen, daar deze
zaken of veel te laat of on het geheel niet worden geleverd door de
sancties die de grootste terreurentiteit op aarde, de VS Venezuela
heeft opgelegd……

Schande,
de manier waarop de reguliere media en veel zogenaamde Zuid- en
Midden-Amerika deskundigen spreken over Venezuela: de ellende zou aan
het beleid van Maduro liggen, terwijl de VS al jaren geleden begon met
haar sancties tegen Venezuela…… In eerst instantie nog via de
grote supermarkten in Venezuela, veelal in handen van eigenaren in de
VS, die onder zware druk werden gezet door de Obama administratie hun winkels in Venezuela niet
langer te bevoorraden…….

Nu is er
een heel pakket van maatregelen opgetuigd, zo kan Venezuela niet
langer beschikken over haar banktegoeden in Zwitserland, Canada, EU
en Panama….. Bedrijven die handelen met Venezuela kunnen op
maatregelen van wereldpsychopaat VS rekenen….. De VS, het gestolen
land dat onbeschaamd denkt haar wet overal en nergens te kunnen laten
gelden en dat daadwerkelijk probeert af te dwingen in wat niet andere gezien kan worden dan economische oorlogsvoering……. Daarom is het ook van het allerhoogste
belang dat de wereld het SWIFT betalingssysteem laat vallen*, een
systeem dat door de VS wordt misbruikt om landen naar de afgrond te dwingen…..

Het is
onbegrijpelijk dat men de VS keer op keer laat begaan met haar meer
dan schandelijke sancties (ronduit terreur), waardoor eerder al 500.000 kinderen in
Irak om het leven kwamen (dat vond de ‘democratische’
oorlogsmisdadiger en psychopaat Albright de zaak meer dan waard….).

Naast
Venezuela heeft de VS ook Iran sancties opgelegd, terwijl de rest van
de wereld het niet eens is met de VS dat het nucleaire verdrag met
Iran verscheurde….. Ook nu durven leden van de Trump administratie, zoals Pompeo te
stellen dat deze sancties een groot aantal doden zal gaan ‘opleveren’ in
Iran**, maar dat is dan de schuld van de regering in Teheran, ofwel ‘de VS kan haar handen in onschuld wassen’ (maar dan wel in de zwembaden met het bloed van de slachtoffers die de VS zelf heeft vermoord…..)……. De
ongelofelijke kromheid van de redenering die Pompeo zich liet ontvallen, meer dan belachelijk!!

– Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has requested international
assistance from the United Nations (UN) and, in particular, the UN
Development Program (UNDP), to “break” the US-led economic
blockade against the country and help supply vital medical equipment.

His
call came at a gathering of health sector leaders and activists from
the Humanised Childbirth Program in Caracas Tuesday.

“I
ask for support from the UNDP, from the UN system, because as you
know the imperialist government of the United States is persecuting
and blockading us. If I want to buy some essential equipment
somewhere in the world to protect our pregnant women, the US
government persecutes us and impedes or delays [the purchase],” he
stated. “We have a lot of work to do,” he continued.

His
statements come amidst a polarising debate concerning international
intervention in Venezuela. Opposition forces, as well as regional
right wing governments, have been pushing international
organisms to declare a humanitarian crisis in the country as
justification for a direct foreign intervention.

Caracas
has, however, has coincided with UN
experts in denying that
such a crisis exists, and claims that any direct foreign intervention
is cover for regime change efforts.

For
his part, the Maduro government has been open to international
cooperation, previously
requesting UN
medical help, as well as for programs which facilitate the voluntary
return of migrants. Caracas has also hosted international programs
involving foreign specialists, often including Cuban doctors, Russian
economists, or Chinese spacial or telecommunications technicians.

The
economic blockade against Venezuela includes US financial
sanctions,
Swiss, EU, Canadian and Panamanian bank account freezes, trade
embargos, unilateral measures against international trade payments,
and persecution of foreign firms which trade with Venezuela.

Independent
estimates report US
$6 billion of lost oil revenue as a result of sanctions,
whilst government
sources have denounced the
freezing of payments of imported medical supplies such as
anti-malaria or HIV treatments. The vast majority of Venezuela’s
medical supplies and equipment are imported, and thus vulnerable to
blockading policies by foreign agents.

Humanised
Childbirth Program to be expanded

Despite
the difficulties caused by the blockade, the government continues to
attempt to expand social welfare in Venezuela, announcing Tuesday
that the number of local attention centres of the Humanised
Childbirth Programis
due to be amplified from 124 to 1,000 within six months. The number
of professional program ‘promoters’ will also grow from 10,000 to
30,000 in the same time period.

The
program, launched in July 2017, looks to promote natural gestational
and birthing practices as well as provide sexual education and
support to especially young women. It emerged as a result of an
increasing trend in Venezuelan hospitals of doctors forcing pregnant
women to undergo caesarean sections, both as a means of generating
profits in the private clinics, as well as to avoid the extra
workload which could be generated by birthing complications.

At
the Caracas gathering, President Maduro indicated that the Humanised
Childbirth Program is also to be upgraded to ‘social mission’
status.

Venezuela’s
social missions are government run welfare programs. It is expected
that they will be given constitutional status in the new magna carta
currently being drafted by the Constituent Assembly.

Independent
report on women’s rights

The
announcements coincided with the publishing of a comprehensive
and independent report on
female rights in Venezuela, including access to healthcare and sexual
and reproductive rights, by the Entrompe de Falopio (Fallopian
Tubing) collective.

The
report, which indicates that women have suffered disproportionately
from the current economic situation, describes the Humanised
Childbirth Program as “very valuable.”

It
also informs that 20 percent of Venezuelan women under 20 have gone
through a pregnancy, as well as 62 percent of women under 25.

The
authors identify maternal death rates, backstreet
abortion practices,
and income-based
poverty which
restricts access to overpriced medical supplies as on-going problems.

Cuban
medical mission enlarged

A
day after Maduro requested international assistance from the UNDP,
support also arrived from Venezuela’s anti imperialist ally, Cuba,
who sent
500 more specialist doctors to
the country, Havana based media outlet Granma reports. This latest
instalment brings the total number of Cuban doctors based in
Venezuela to 21,700.

The
doctors, who arrived in planes from the respective Cuban and
Venezuelan state airlines, will strengthen both the leadership and
base work of the Cuban mission in the country, and comes as part of
the health plan approved by Maduro in the recent
congress of health workers.

“As
always, Cuba will strengthen the work of its brigade with an eye to
building a health system envisaged by the commanders of our
revolutions [Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez]. Public healthcare is a
priority and a bastion of the Bolivarian Revolution and we will
defend it side by side with this people,” stated Dr Fernando
Gonzalez, head of the Cuban healthcare mission in Venezuela.

The
new doctors will, he stated, focus on health promotion and illness
prevention and will be spread across the country.

Cuba
has played a leading role in the development of Venezuelan public
healthcare during the Bolivarian Revolution. Both the ‘Barrio
Adentro’ mission, which seeks to bring healthcare to poor and
remote communities, as well as the Jose Gregorio Hernandez mission,
which designs prosthetic limbs for disabled people, include a large
Cuban contingent of doctors who help plan and run the mission.

5,933.000.000.000……. Kortom het militair-industrieel complex heeft ‘het goed gedaan’ de laatste 17 jaar, maar dat was dan ook de bedoeling van de aanslagen gepleegd op 11 september 2001 (9/11)……

De
zogenaamde oorlog tegen terreur die door de VS n.a.v. de aanslagen van 9/11 werd opgetuigd, moet worden uitgelegd als
grootschalige terreur van de VS tegen landen die niet gehoorzaam doen
wat het VS imperium verlangt…….. Sinds de VS met haar
grootschalige terreur begon in Afghanistan in 2001, gevolgd door Irak
in 2003, en daarna in Pakistan, Libië, Syrië, Jemen en een paar andere Afrikaanse landen (anders dan Libië), heeft de VS dus naar schatting
al 5,9 biljoen dollar uitgegeven aan deze illegale oorlogen, dan wel militaire steun aan oorlogen……….

Volgens
de schrijver van het hieronder opgenomen artikel, Jason Ditz, zitten
die kosten niet alleen in de oorlogen zelf, maar ook in medische zorg
voor veteranen en in rentes op leningen om die oorlogen te kunnen voeren…… Daarover gesproken: de totale schuld van de VS is zo
groot, dat deze vereniging van terreurstaten volgens een aantal
financieel deskundigen in feite failliet is…… Het feit dat de
dollar nog steeds geldt als het meest gebruikte internationale
betaalmiddel zorgt ervoor dat de VS niet al lang echt bankroet
is………

Volgens
verwachtingen zullen de kosten voor VS oorlogvoering nog verder
oplopen daar er voorlopig geen zicht op is dat de VS zich zal
terugtrekken, bijvoorbeeld uit Syrië, Afghanistan en Irak……..

medical costs expected to be a growing cost of conflicts

A
new report from Brown University is
aiming to provide a close estimate of the cost of the overall cost to
the US government of its myriad post-9/11 wars and assorted global
wars on terror. The estimate is that $5.933 trillion has been spent
through fiscal year 2019.

This
is, of course, vastly higher than official figures, owing to the
Pentagon trying to oversimplify the costs into simply overseas
contingency operations. It is only when one considers the cost of
medical and disability care for soldiers, and future such costs,
along with things like the interest on the extra money borrowed for
the wars, that the true cost becomes clear.

That
sort of vast expenditure is only the costs and obligations of the
wars so far, and with little sign of them ending, they are only going
to grow. In particular, a generation of wars is going to further add
to the medical costs for veterans’ being consistently deployed
abroad.

Starting
in late 2001, the US has engaged in wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria,
Pakistan, Yemen, and elsewhere around the world. Many of those wars
have become more or less permanent operations, with no consideration
of ending them under any circumstances.

In
tegenstelling tot eerdere berichten schat men eindelijk het aan tal
doden in en door de genocide die de Saoedische terreurcoalitie
aanricht in Jemen……

De
reguliere media houden over het algemeen 10.000 doden aan als
slachtoffers van ‘de burgeroorlog’, een aantal dat al meer dan een
jaar wordt aangehouden, terwijl eerder dit jaar al bekend werd
gemaakt dat elke 10 minuten een kind overlijdt in Jemen……..

NGO Armed
Conflict Location and Event Data Project (ACLED) schat het aantal
doden dat alleen door geweld van de Saoedische terreurcoalitie is
gevallen sinds de oorlog tegen de Houthi rebellen begon, tussen de 70.000 en 80.000 doden ligt, zoals aangegeven is dit
nog buiten de slachtoffers van de honger, cholera en difterie, honger en ziekten die zijn veroorzaakt door de terreur van de Saoedische coalitie….. Kortom het werkelijke aantal burgerslachtoffers door de terreuroorlog van de Saoedische coalitie zal in totaal niet ver van de 200.000 slachtoffers liggen…….

Vandaar
ook dat je moet spreken van een genocide, zeker als je ziet dat de
Saoedische coalitie met opzet burgerdoelen bombardeert als
ziekenhuizen, scholen, woonblokken, energiecentrales,
waterzuiveringsinstallaties (en water leveringsbedrijven), moskeeën en markten (waar een paar maanden geleden met opzet een een schoolbus werd
getroffen).

Als
giftige kers op de bloederige taart, bombardeerde de Saoedische
terreurcoalitie een splinternieuw ziekenhuis van Artsen zonder
Grenzen, een ziekenhuis speciaal gericht op het bestrijden van cholera….. Door de blokkades
van Saoedi-Arabië en de VS (op zee) is er bovendien een hongersnood ontstaan* en dat in een land waar al weinig landbouw is….. Om te laten zien
dat het deze terreurcoalitie om het uitmoorden van de sjiieten in
Jemen gaat, heeft men ook het relatief kleine landbouwareaal in Jemen voor het grootste deel vernietigd…….

Hoofdverantwoordelijke
voor deze genocide is de grootste terreurentiteit op aarde, de VS. Zo
levert de VS (samen met Groot-Brittannië) wapens en munitie, naast
rollend, varend en vliegend oorlogstuig aan Saoedi-Arabië…..
Bovendien geven deze landen militaire training aan Saoedische
militairen…. De VS doet daarnaast de coördinatie van de
bombardementen en voorziet straaljagers en bommenwerpers van de
Saoedische coalitie in de lucht van brandstof, zodat er ‘zo efficiënt mogelijk kan worden gebombardeerd…..**‘

In het volgende artikel, geschreven door Nicholas J.S. Davies en eerder geplaatst op Common Dreams, gaat hij verder in op het expres spelen met het aantal slachtoffers, ofwel o.a. de VS en GB houden het aantal slachtoffers dat valt in de illegale oorlogen van de VS, zo laag mogelijk, dit om het publiek in het westen niet tegen zich in het harnas te jagen…….. 

Tot slot moet ik  nog opmerken dat het werkelijke aantal doden waarschijnlijk veel hoger ligt dan de 200.000 die in de kop vermeld staan, vergeet niet dat doden snel begraven worden in islamitische landen en door de oorlog is het bijhouden van dit soort statistieken een uiterst moeilijke zaak…..

Yemeni
War Deaths Underestimated by Five To One

In
April, I made new estimates of the death toll in America’s
post-2001 wars in a three-part
Consortium News report. I
estimated that these wars have now killed several million
people.  I explained that widely reported but much
lower estimates of the numbers of combatants and civilians
killed were likely to be only one fifth to one twentieth of the true
numbers of people killed in U.S. war zones. Now one of the NGOs
responsible for understating war deaths in Yemen has acknowledged
that it was underestimating them by at
least five to one,
as I suggested in my report.

One
of the sources I examined for my report was a U.K.-based NGO named
ACLED (Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project), which has
compiled counts of war deaths in Libya, Somalia and Yemen.  At
that time, ACLED estimated that about 10,000 people had been killed
in the war in Yemen, about the same number as the WHO (World Health
Organization), whose surveys are regularly cited as estimates of
war deaths in Yemen by UN agencies and the world’s media.  Now
ACLED estimates the true number of people killed in Yemen is
probably between
70,000 and 80,000.

ACLED’s
estimates do not include the thousands of Yemenis who have died from
the indirect causes of the war, such as starvation, malnutrition and
preventable diseases like diphtheria and cholera. UNICEF
reported in
December 2016 that a child was dying every ten minutes in Yemen,
and the humanitarian crisis has only worsened since then, so the
total of all deaths caused directly and indirectly by the war must by
now number in the hundreds of thousands.

Another
NGO, the Yemen Data Project (YDP), revealed in September 2016 that at
least a thirdof
Saudi-led air-strikes, many of which are conducted by U.S.-built and
U.S.-refueled warplanes using U.S.-made bombs, were hitting
hospitals, schools, markets, mosques and other civilian targets. This
has left at least half the hospitals and health facilities in Yemen
damaged or destroyed, hardly able to treat the casualties of the war
or serve their communities, let alone to compile meaningful
figures for the WHO’s surveys. 

In
any case, even comprehensive surveys of fully functioning
hospitals would only capture a fraction of the violent deaths in
a war-torn country like Yemen, where most of those killed
in the war do not die in hospitals. And yet the UN and the world’s
media have continued to cite the WHO surveys as reliable estimates of
the total number of people killed in Yemen.

The
reason I claimed that such estimates of civilian deaths in U.S.
war zones were likely to be so dramatically and tragically
wrong was because that is what epidemiologists have found
whenever they have conducted serious mortality studies based on
well-established statistical principles in war zones around the
world. 

Epidemiologists
recently used some of the same techniques to estimate that about
3,000 people died as a result of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico. The
results of studies in war-ravaged Rwanda and the Democratic
Republic of Congo (DRC) have been widely cited by Western
political leaders and the Western media with no hint
of controversy.  

When
some of the very same public health experts who had worked in
Rwanda and the DRC used the same methods to estimate how many
people had been killed as a result of the U.S. and U.K.’s invasion
and occupation of Iraq in two studies published in the
Lancet medical journal in 2004 and 2006, they found that about
600,000 people had been killed in the first three years of war and
occupation.  

Wide acceptance
of these results would have been a geopolitical disaster for the U.S.
and U.K. governments, and would have further discredited the Western
media who had acted as cheerleaders for the invasion of
Iraq and were still blaming the Iraqi victims of
the illegal invasion of their country for the violence and
chaos of the occupation.  So, even though the U.K. Ministry of
Defence’s Chief Scientific Advisor described the Lancet studies’
design as “robust” and their methods as “close to best
practice,” and British officials admitted privately that they
were “likely
to be right,” the
U.S. and U.K. governments launched a concerted campaign to “rubbish”
them. 

In
2005, as American and British officials and their acolytes in
the corporate media “rubbished” his work, Les Roberts
of Johns Hopkins School of Public Health (now at Columbia), the lead
author of the 2004 study, told the U.K.
media watchdog Medialens,
“It is odd that the logic of epidemiology embraced by the press
every day regarding new drugs or health risks somehow changes when
the mechanism of death is their armed forces.”  

Roberts
was right that this was odd, in the sense that there was no
legitimate scientific basis for the objections being raised to his
work and its results. But it was not so odd that embattled political
leaders would use all the tools at their disposal to try to salvage
their careers and reputations, and to preserve the U.S. and
U.K.’s future freedom of action to destroy countries that stood in
their way on the world stage.

By
2005, most Western journalists in Iraq were hunkered down in
Baghdad’s fortified Green Zone, reporting mainly from the CENTCOM
briefing room.  If they ventured out, they were embedded with
U.S. forces traveling by helicopter or armored convoy between
fortified U.S. bases. Dahr Jamail was one of a few
incredibly brave “unembedded” American reporters in the real
Iraq, Beyond the Green Zone, as he named his book about his time
there.  Dahr told me he thought the true number of Iraqis being
killed might well be even higher than the Lancet studies’
estimates, and that it was certainly not much lower as the Western
propaganda machine insisted.

Unlike
Western governments and the Western media over Iraq, and UN
agencies and the same Western media over Afghanistan and Yemen,
ACLED does not defend its previous misleadingly inadequate estimates
of war deaths in Yemen. Instead, it is conducting a
thorough review of its sources to come up with a more realistic
estimate of how many people have been killed. Working back
from the present as far as January 2016, it now estimates that 56,000
people have
been killed since then. 

Andrea
Carboni of ACLED told Patrick Cockburn of the Independent newspaper
in the U.K. that he believes ACLED’s estimate of the number
killed in 3-1/2 years of war on Yemen will be between
70,000 and 80,000 once
it has finished reviewing its sources back to March 2015, when Saudi
Arabia, the U.S. and their allies launched this horrific war. 

But
the true number of people killed in Yemen is inevitably even
higher than ACLED’s revised estimate.  As I explained
in my Consortium
News report,
no such effort to count the dead by reviewing media reports, records
from hospitals and other “passive” sources, no matter how
thoroughly, can ever fully count the dead amid the widespread
violence and chaos of a country ravaged by war.

This
is why epidemiologists have developed statistical techniques to
produce more accurate estimates of how many people have really been
killed in war zones around the world. The world is still
waiting for that kind of genuine accounting of the true human cost of
the Saudi-U.S. war on Yemen and, indeed, of all America’s post-9/11
wars.
