De heksenjacht in de Labour Party nadat Jeremy Corbyn wegens ‘antisemitisme’ werd geroyeerd: zelfs Joodse Labourpolitici worden uit de partij gezet

Jeremy Corbyn werd al ruim voor de laatste Brtise parlementsverkiezingen schandelijk uitgemaakt voor antisemiet, een
uiterst smerige leugen, die zowel werd verspreid door de reguliere (massa-) media, inclusief en niet zelden zelfs geleid door de zogenaamde onafhankelijke BBC, als door de
neoliberale politici van de partij, waardoor Labour
zelfs de verkiezingen verloor……. (ook de reguliere media hier
hebben de antisemitische leugen in de lucht gehouden en doen dat nog steeds…..) 

Een paar maanden geleden
werd Corbyn uit de partij gezet en nu is het de beurt aan iedereen
die naar links ruikt…… Het is zo zot dat ook Joodse leden van de
partij nu uit die partij worden gezet, niet omdat Starmer, de nieuwe leider van Labour (en een aanhanger van oorlogsmisdadiger Blair) deze mensen verwijt antisemiet te zijn (tja dat gaat een beetje moeilijk als deze mensen zelf Joods zijn), maar omdat ze zich ‘gedragen’ als
socialisten, ofwel ook de Joodse partijleden die Corbyn steunden ondanks de smerige
antisemitische leugens worden geroyeerd als lid……. Moet je nagaan de oprichter van de partij was zelf een
socialist……

Hajo Meijer, een concentratiekamp overlevende en eertijds belangrijk lid van Een Ander joods Geluid, zou zich bij wijze van spreken omdraaien in zijn graf als hij de beschuldiging van antisemitisme aan het adres van Corbyn zou horen, hij was bevriend met de voormalig Labourleider…….

Corbyn
heeft intussen stappen genomen om een echte socialistische partij op
te richten en het ziet ernaar uit dat een groot aantal Labour kiezers
achter hem staan, niet vreemd als je ziet dat labour is verworden tot een volledig neoliberale partij, waarvoor Blair de eerste grote stappen heeft gezet…….

Het
volgend schrijven over de heksenjacht in Labour op alles wat
socialistisch lijkt is van Rachael Swindon, lees het ajb en geeft het
door, ook in Nederland ziet men Corbyn als een antisemiet, zoals
gezegd een uiterst smerige leugen…… Jammer dat
Rachael zo hamert op het sociaaldemocratische karakter van de partij
en dat dit behouden moet blijven, terwijl we overal hebben kunnen zien waar sociaaldemocratische politiek toe
leidt: partijen die zich voordoen als licht socialistisch, terwijl de
dagelijkse werkelijkheid neoliberaal beleid laat zien, neem onze PvdA (ik heb het
grootste deel weggelaten van Raechels irritante kerstwensen die ze aan haar
schrijven toevoegde):

Let’s get straight
to the point. 

There’s a witch
hunt in the Labour Party. 

But of course, it’s
not witches that are being hunted, but decent, loyal socialists.
People like you. Call it a socialist hunt if you like. I’m not
seeing any suspensions from the hard-right of the Party, are you? 

The illegitimate
Socialist Hunter in chief, David Evans, and his beige sidekick, Keir
Starmer, have dragged the Labour Party to the right, and now they
want all traces of socialism removed. Just to remind you, the Labour
Party was founded by a Socialist, its greatest Prime Minister was a
Socialist, and if you flip your membership card over, the very first
line says, “The Labour Party is a democratic socialist party.”  

So what gives Starmer
and Evans the right to attack the democratic foundations of the party
while simultaneously attempting to remove any trace of socialism? 

What gives Starmer and
Evans the right to tell you, their funders, what you can and can’t
talk about? Seriously, this is alarming, it is authoritarian, and it
has no place in any movement that prides themselves on membership
engagement and grassroots democracy. 

What gives either of
them the right to drag the Labour Party membership, against its will,
kicking and screaming towards the land of social conservatism? 

Nothing. They have
no right. 

Starmer was elected
upon a false prospectus. A man that pretends to stand up for
everyone, stands up for absolutely nobody – apart from a few
lobbyists – and he seems much more at ease failing to call out white
supremacy, or failing to vote against torture, or ordering the
suspensions of brilliant lefties, for the crime of being a socialist,
or blowing smoke so far up Boris Johnson’s arse you can see it
coming out of the Etonian Ewok’s nostrils. Revolting. 

 

He is no Labour
leader. He’s not even a Liberal Democrat leader. He makes Ed
Miliband look like one of us ffs.

Look at the state of
our politics. You’ve got that over-privileged, over-promoted,
utterly clueless bag of bum wind Johnson, leading the Tory Party –
and allegedly running the country. 

Then look at Labour
and The Lib Dems. Both are led by fully paid up members of the
establishment. Sir Ed Davey (I think that’s his name), and Sir
Keith Starmer (I know that’s his name), are both knights of the
realm. 

Can you see why
Scotland, and Wales, want to escape from this utter horror show? Do
you really blame them? I’d push for a Democratic Republic of
Swindon if it meant escaping Tory rule, because that’s all that’s
on offer down here. The only decision we have to make is our
preference of Tory – blue, yellow, or red. This is a recent thing.
The last Labour leader, regardless of how you felt about him, offered
a genuine, progressive alternative. 

The last Labour
leader, Mr Corbyn, is a victim of the socialist hunt himself. This
will not end well for Starmer and Evans, whatever the outcome. They
have forced themselves into a corner, with help from extremist
organisations intent on dictating Labour Party rules. 

Anyway, I must ask
you, do you remember when Jeremy Corbyn suspended more than 50 CLP
chairs and vice-chairs, for exercising their democratic right? And
when he was suspending left-wing Jews without reason? Do you remember
when the Labour Muslim Network issued a damning report into
Islamophobia in the Labour Party, under his leadership? Do you
remember when thousands of BAME party members left in their droves
because of the leadership’s inability to deal with racism? 

No, nor do I. And
that’s because it never happened. 


If any of that
happened during the Corbyn years we would still be talking about it
now, it would’ve been on the front of every single paper, it
would’ve lead BBC and SKY News, LBC, and another vote of no
confidence would’ve gone in from the Parliamentary Labour Party
stooges. 

But all of this has
happened under the leadership of Keith Starmer, and the media silence
is absolutely deafening. If it wasn’t for the likes of Canary,
Skwawkbox and others, we wouldn’t have a clue what’s going on.

Can you imagine if
Jeremy Corbyn had a media that wasn’t intent on destroying him? 

We might even be
twenty points ahead by now. 

The socialist hunt
isn’t showing any signs of slowing down in the near future. More
prominent party members are usually ‘lucky’ enough to find out
through a media briefing, but the standard party members just get a
letter out of the blue, often with no adequate explanation as to why
they are being suspended. 

Starmer and Evans will
need to drop the Poundshop Stalin act, because they look fucking
ridiculous.

 

I am told more than
240 CLPs have indicated solidarity for Mr Corbyn, with more than a
third of them going against the democracy clampdown issued by the
leadership and passing motions of support for the former Party
leader.

More than a third of
CLPs passing motions nominated Starmer for the Labour leadership.
These are his own CLPs, not putting up with this control-freakery. 

I think Starmer and
Evans underestimated the likelihood of a resistance to their purge.
The left doesn’t roll over for anyone, Keith and Dave, I can assure
you. 

Labour members on the
left need to organise. CLPs need to continue passing motions of
support for Mr Corbyn, and continue to pass motions of no confidence
in Starmer and Evans. Social media activists need to keep supporting
independent media. Share their articles, help them grow, because they
are on the side of justice and equality, and they will hold power to
account, rest assured. 

Anyway, that’s me
done for another Sunday. I’m off to watch my son play football,
which may well be the last opportunity for quite a few weeks, if
Covid has its way.

Op 12 december jl. in het radionieuws op VRT 1 aandacht voor de gevolgen van de Coronavirusuitbraak in de Gazastrook. Daarvoor had VRT Ankie Rechess aan de telefoon, misschien weet je nog dat Rechess eerder ook de zionistische correspondent was voor de zogenaamd onafhankelijke NOS…… (dat is ze nog steeds zo hoorde ik later, aanpassing op 26 april 2021)

Israëlisch bombardement op de Gazastrook (één van de vele en stuk voor stuk oorlogsmisdaden….)

Rechess sprak over het grote aantal met COVID-19 besmette zieke mensen in de Gazastrook. Volgens haar durfde Hamas geen langere lockdown in te stellen dan een 2 dagen durende, volgens haar vanwege de deplorabele toestand van de economie….. Echter je kan er donder op zeggen dat dit moeilijk is daar deze Palestijnse mensen gemiddeld maar een paar uur per dag elektriciteit hebben en voor diverse zaken wel naar buiten moeten, maar daar sprak Rechess met geen woord over, zoals ze ook niet sprak over de oorzaak van de slechte economische situatie, ‘logisch’ daar deze zaken 1 op 1 zijn te danken aan de sancties waaronder een blokkade, die Israël de Gazastrook heeft opgelegd (en Rechess heeft nooit kritiek op Israël als het gaat om het verdrukken van het Palestijnse volk door deze fascistische apartheidsstaat)…… 

Zo laat Israël maar mondjesmaat goederen toe tot de Gazastrook, inclusief medische zaken als medicijnen en medische apparatuur, uitvoer is er al helemaal niet, wat betekent dat de Gazastrook bijna voor alles afhankelijk is van import, zelfs van water nadat de laatste Israëlische kolonisten de Gazastrook verlieten en de bronnen vernielden (voorts zijn bronnen met opzet vervuild)…….. Ook voor brandstof en elektriciteit is de Gazastrook afhankelijk van Israël (dat samen met de Palestijnse Autoriteit [PA] van de West Bank een smerig spel speelt…..), dit vanwege de al aangehaalde blokkade waar men maar weinig goederen doorlaat en dat op een bijzonder trage manier, wat betreft elektriciteit: daar Israël de elektriciteitscentrale van deze strook land heeft vernietigd en één of twee uur per dag elektriciteit levert aan de Gazastrook….. (zodat brandstof nodig is voor de vele generatoren in de Gazastrook, waar de voornaamsten wel die van gezondheidscentra en ziekenhuizen zijn)

Hier een deel van Wikipedia’s tekst over de situatie in de Gazastrook wat betreft de watervoorziening en de geestelijke en fysieke gezondheidszorg (plus links naar meer informatie >> het komt weliswaar van Wikipeadia maar de informatie klopt zo te zien wel, ook al wordt er wel heel weinig verduidelijkt, zoals waarom deze situatie zo is en maar voortduurt, jaar op jaar….):

De
ziekenhuizen en medische centra kampen met grote tekorten aan
medicijnen en medische hulpmiddelen. Zij lijden onder
elektriciteitstekorten t.g.v. tekort aan brandstof. Ook de
drinkwatervoorziening is nog steeds niet hersteld; (hulp)materialen
worden door de blokkade nauwelijks toegelaten. Het grondwater is zeer
vervuild, en sanitaire voorzieningen zijn ondeugdelijk en slechts 4%
van het water is geschikt voor consumptie.[56] Vanwege deze
uitzichtloze situatie neemt de psychische nood toe, terwijl er een
groot tekort is aan psychologisch geschoold personeel. Het aantal
zelfmoorden lijkt sinds 2016 toe te nemen.[57] Eind december 2017
bracht de WHO* een speciaal rapport uit over de onhoudbare situatie in
de Gazastrook.[58]

Geen wonder dus dat een besmettelijke ziekte als COVID-19 een groot aantal slachtoffers maakt in de Gazastrook….. Overigens heeft Israël eerder op de West bank al een noodkliniek gesloopt…… Zie:  ‘Israël vernielt een Palestijnse Coronavirus noodkliniek……..‘Hoe je ook denkt over het virus, dit is zonder meer een ernstige
misdaad tegen de menselijkheid en geeft ten overvloede nog eens aan dat
Israël er geen probleem mee heeft als een enorm aantal Palestijnen zal
sterven aan het virus, of aan welke besmettelijke ziekte dan ook….. Zoals al aangegeven in de tekst van Wikipedia is het geen wonder dat veel mensen zich het leven benemen, wat de inhumane en bloeddorstige Israëlische regering uiteraard toejuicht…… 

Bovendien kan je de Israëlische politiek zien als een ontmoedigingsbeleid en zelfs als een etnische zuivering, zodat Palestijnen ten einde raad maar hun toevlucht nemen tot een land buiten wat men Israël noemt, maar wat in feite nog steeds Palestina is, immers Israël is in 1948 illegaal gesticht op een enorme plas Palestijns bloed en op land dat voor het overgrote deel toebehoorde aan de Palestijnen en ja ook zij zijn mensen.……. Eenmaal in het buitenland mogen deze mensen niet terugkeren…….) 

Nog even over de VRT: in de aankondiging van het nieuwsbericht werd hamas een extremistisch gewelddadige groepering genoemd, terwijl Hamas de eerste organisatie was die zich het lot van de Palestijnen aantrok en juist heel veel heeft gedaan en betekend voor de in gevangengehouden Palestijnen in de Gazastrook, dit in tegenstelling tot wat men nu aanduidt als de Palestijnse Autoriteit, een uitvloeisel van de PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization, of: Palestijnse Bevrijdingsorganisatie)…… 

Let wel: dit schrijven valt allesbehalve onder antisemitisme: het is op zeker dat welk
ander buitenland dan ook zo om zou gaan met een minderheid, dit zich de woede
van de westerse wereld op de hals zou halen, maar ja het is Israël dus
kijkt men weg….. Eén en ander is nog steeds het gevolg van de holocaust waarbij de door de
nazi-Duitse bezette landen, voor een groot deel meewerkten aan deze
vreselijke genocide…… Kortom men kijkt weg uit schuldgevoel over wat
er destijds gebeurde…. Terwijl juist de Joodse bevolking in Israël zou moeten begrijpen dat wat haar overheid doet niet ver afstaat van wat de nazi’s destijds flikten…… (begin 90er jaren van de vorige eeuw luidden een aantal Israëlische
officieren de klok over het lesmateriaal dat ze kregen voor hun
militaire opleiding: o.a. SS handboeken, zoals die over het beheersen
van een getto…….) Gelukkig zijn er heel wat Joden in Israël en daarbuiten die tegen het walgelijke Israëlische regeringsbeleid zijn dat wordt gevoerd tegen de Palestijnen, zo heb je in Nederland ‘Een Ander Joods Geluid‘ en in de VS (ook internationaal) ‘Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP)‘.

Hannah Arendt 14 oktober 1906 – 4 december 1975

In het
WDR radioprogramma ZeitZeichen van afgelopen vrijdag aandacht voor (politiek) filosoof Hannah
Arendt*, overleden op die dag in december 1975.

In 1933 werd Arendt gearresteerd door de Gestapo, ze wist
samen met haar man en moeder te vluchten naar Frankrijk, om na de
aanval van Duitsland op Frankrijk door te vluchten naar de VS…..

Het leven van deze
opmerkelijke filosoof werd o.a. voor een groot deel beheerst door de nazificatie van Duitsland en alle ellende die
daarna volgde, natuurlijk ook veel aandacht voor de Jodenvervolging (waarbij ze uiteraard ook aandacht schonk aan andere dictaturen en kritiek had op Israël vanwege de omgang met de Palestijnen).

In het
schrijven op de site van WDR 5 staat bij de aankondiging van dit programma te lezen dat
Martin Heidegger haar vriend was, echter dat was na 1933 niet meer
het geval, daar Heidegger Hitlers regime steunde tot aan de val van dat regime in 1945….. (best schandelijk dat men dit niet noemde en dat door NB een Duitse zendgemachtigde…..)

Arendt bemoeide zich ook met de berechting van Adolf Eichmann** in Israël, waarvoor ze de meer dan 3.000 tellende verslagen heeft gelezen  die ten grondslag lagen aan
de berechting van deze nazi-schoft en heeft daar naar eigen zeggen
meermaals om moeten lachen, wat nog eens aangeeft hoe belachelijk het
was dat de nazi’s ooit de macht hebben kunnen grijpen en zelfs het grootste
deel van het Duitse volk achter zich wisten te scharen……

Nog
steeds worden uitspraken, analyses en filosofieën van Hannah Arendt gebruikt
en volkomen terecht!!

Todestag der Philosophin Hannah Arendt

Was für
eine Frau: mutig, unbeirrt und bestechend genau. Hannah Arendt, 1906
geboren,  war eine Denkerin, die Freunde und Weggenossen und
selbst ihre Gegner nicht kalt ließ. Sie stammte aus einem
sozialdemokratischen, jüdisch-assimilierten Elternhaus und studierte
Philosophie bei einigen der brillantesten Philosophen der Zeit,
darunter Martin Heidegger, ihrem Freund und Mentor

Mit ihren Forschungen über die
deutsche Romantik Ende der 20er Jahre rückte das Judentum und die
Bedingungen seiner gesellschaftlichen Assimilation immer stärker ins
Zentrum ihrer Studien.

1933 wurde sie von der Gestapo
verhaftet, konnte aber mit ihrem Mann und ihrer Mutter fliehen,
zunächst nach Frankreich, dann in die USA. Dort arbeitete sie als
Kommentatorin und Lektorin, erhielt aber 1951 nach der
Veröffentlichung einer Analyse über “Elemente und Ursprünge
totaler Herrschaft” auch eine Professur am New
Yorker Brooklyn College, später eine an der University
of Chicago.

Einer breiten Öffentlichkeit wurde
sie 1961 bekannt als Berichterstatterin für die “New
York Times” über den Eichmann-Prozess in Jerusalem.
Dabei prägte sie den spektakulären Begriff von der “Banalität
des Bösen”, so kontrovers diskutiert wie keines ihrer anderen
Werke. Die fatale Macht des Totalitarismus blieb auch danach eins
ihrer zentralen Forschungsgebiete.

Hannah Arendt starb am 4. Dezember
1975, 69 Jahre alt und international hoch geehrt. Gerade heute wieder
wird sie mit ihren philosophischen und gesellschaftspolitischen

De
geschenken die de Trump administratie de laatste weken aan Israel
heeft gegeven, hebben niets te maken met hoe de buitenlandpolitiek
van de VS zou moeten zijn: deze zou de nationale en internationale
belangen van de VS moeten reflecteren, aldus Philip Giraldi die
hierover een artikel schreef dat werd gepubliceerd op The Unz
Review en dat ik overnam van Information Clearing House.

Giraldi
vervolgt met te zeggen dat het tegendeel waar is, het
buitenlandbeleid van de Trump administratie t.a.v. Israël en de rest
van de wereld geeft aan dat de VS een schurkenstaat is (rogue
nation), die wordt geleid door iemand die duidelijk geestelijk ziek
is en die door Israël bij de hand wordt genomen……. Trump die aanzienlijke
schade heeft veroorzaakt aan het vermogen van de VS om de wereld te
leiden op belangrijke onderwerpen als de verspreiding van nucleaire
wapens en de klimaatverandering, aldus Giraldi……..

Hier
moet ik opmerken dat dit bepaald niet alleen aan Trump is te danken,
het maakt dan ook niet uit wie in het Witte Huis zit, of het nu
Republikeinen dan wel Democraten zijn, Israël blijft gezien worden
als een land dat de volledige steun van de VS krijgt, wat dit land
ook flikt tegen Palestijnen, of het nu de Great Return March is dan
wel de zoveelste Intifada, waarbij Israël ongewapende burgers op
grote schaal vermoordt, geen kritiek uit de VS, sterker nog: als
iemand het in z’n hoofd haalt om dit te bespreken in de VN
Veiligheidsraad, spreekt de VS daar haar veto over uit……… 

Wat betreft het klimaat moet niet vergeten worden dat ook Obama oliemaatschappijen toestond om bijvoorbeeld gevaarlijke diepzeeboringen te verrichten in het Arctisch gebied, pas tegen het eind van zijn tweede termijn heeft hij daar een streep door gezet, het is dat de olieprijs daar te laag voor was en is, anders had men daar al lang booreilanden of -schepen gehad…….

Aangaande de nucleaire proliferatie hoeven we ook helemaal niets te
verwachten van de VS behalve dan als het gaat om Iran of Noord-Korea,
terwijl de VS ervoor heeft gezorgd dat Israël en Pakistan kernwapens
hebben…… Nu zou de VS de reli-fascistische terreurstaat
Saoedi-Arabië helpen bij het ontwikkelen van een kernwapen, een
staat die een groot aantal terreurorganisaties steunt, zowel
financieel als met wapens en zelf een genocide uitvoert in buurland Jemen, waarbij intussen al meer dan 500.000 mensen bij om zijn gekomen (waaronder 100.000 kinderen….)….

Kortom
dat Trump een duidelijke psychopaat is en mede daardoor als
krankzinnig kan worden gezien, zegt niets over het buitenlandbeleid
van de VS, voorlopig is Trump in de bijna 4 jaar dat hij aan de macht
is, geen oorlog begonnen. Vergelijk dat eens met zijn voorganger,
Nobelprijs voor de Vrede winnaar Obama, die er minstens 2 startte,
die in Libië en Syrië en verantwoordelijk is voor minstens 2 andere
oorlogen, zoals die tegen de burgers in Oost-Oekraïne…… (wat
niet wegneemt dat ook Trump, als Obama een oorlogsmisdadiger is, die
terecht zou moeten staan voor het Internationaal Strafhof [ICC]) 

Het zal onder Biden wat e.e.a. betreft alleen maar slechter worden daar Biden de Trump administraite meermaals slapheid heeft verweten in het optreden tegen landen als Venezuela en Iran….. (in Venezuela zijn door VS sancties al meer dan 50.000 mensen omgekomen en het is wel zeker dat ook de waanzinnige sancties tegen Iran al een enorm aantal slachtoffers heeft geëist, als je dat ‘slap’ noemt, kan dit alleen maar betekenen dat Biden oorlog met deze landen niet uit de weg zal gaan…..)

Pompeo,
de minister van buitenlandse zaken van de VS, heeft extra sancties
ingesteld tegen Iran waarbij hij ook opschepte over de al bestaande
sancties tegen dat land, sancties die de economie slopen en de
nationale munt doet devalueren…. Trump haalde voorts aan dat Iran
eerder 2,5 miljoen vaten olie exporteerde, terwijl ze nu moeite
hebben om zelfs maar een kwart van dat aantal te exporteren (en
de olieprijs ongelofelijk is gekelderd)…..

Pompeo
was onlangs in Israël, waar hij o.a. een illegale nederzetting op de
West Bank bezocht en waar hij op een andere plek op die West Bank
blij verrast was dat men een wijn naar hem had vernoemd, wijn van druiven die worden geteeld op gestolen land van de Palestijnen, land dat volgens Giraldi in handen zou zijn van rijke Joden in Californië….. Daarmee gaf Pompeo aan dat de
VS geen probleem meer heeft met de illegale nederzettingen op de West
Bank (waar intussen 700.000 Joden wonen…), sterker nog: dat deze
nederzettingen geen obstakel zijn voor ‘vredesonderhandelingen’ met
de Palestijnen. Er is in feite geen sprake van onderhandelingen,
immers Israël legt de Palestijnen op wat men wel en niet mag doen,
uiteraard alles in het nadeel van de Palestijnen, waar de corrupte
leider van de Palestijnse Autoriteit (PA), Mahmoud Abbas ook bekend als
Abu Mazen, zich schikt naar de wensen van Israël en zelfs zijn
‘politie’ laat samenwerken met de bezettingsmacht van Israël
(onlangs zijn die banden weer hersteld door Abbas…)

De Trump
administratie is wel verder gegaan in dit soort smerige streken dan
eerdere administraties, neem de verplaatsing van de VS ambassade naar
Jeruzalem en het erkennen ‘dat Jeruzalem de hoofdstad is van
Israël……’

Niet
vreemd dus dat Pompeo met zijn ‘realiteitspolitiek’ heeft gesteld dat
producten van de illegale nederzettingen in het vervolg in de VS het
predicaat krijgen dat ze in Israël zijn geproduceerd….. Daarmee
heeft Pompeo in feite gesteld dat de VS de door Israël bezette
gebieden als Israëlische grondgebied ziet….. Weet je nog dat
Netanyahu al voor de zomer voorstelde om de West Bank in haar geheel
te annexeren? Welnu ondanks dat Netanyahu dit niet heeft doorgezet,
heeft Pompeo hem een carte blanche gegeven om dit alsnog te
doen……

De
liefde voor Israël gaat zover dat Trump de geweldloze actiegroep
global
discriminatory boycott, divestment, and sanctions campagne (Global
BDS Campaign), aangeduid als BDS, een kanker noemde (een duidelijk
fascistische aanduiding) en als antisemitisch neerzette…. Intussen
heeft de VS aangegeven van zins te zijn BDS op de lijst van
terreurorganisaties te zetten, waarbij wordt opgemerkt dat elke groep
die een boycot van Israëlische producten bepleit, te maken zal
krijgen met represailles…. In Frankrijk is het al zo zot dat elke
oproep tot een boycot van Israëlische producten is verboden……

Lees
het artikel van Giraldi die veel dieper op deze zaken ingaat (ook al
is hij een paar zaken vergeten), waarbij hij ook de inzet noemt van
de VS om verdragen te sluiten tussen arabische staten en Israël en
zegt het voort!! Het is de hoogste tijd dat de wereld inziet dat met
het ontzien van Israël, dat zich schuldig maakt aan grootschalige
terreur, er geen vrede zal zijn in het Midden-Oosten, immers elke
aanval van Israël tegen bijvoorbeeld Syrië wordt gedekt en
verdedigt door de VS….. 

Het artikel van Giraldi is van voor de aanslag op Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, een
Iraanse atoomgeleerde, die vrijwel zeker door de Mossad (geheime
dienst van Israël) werd uitgevoerd, dit nadat de VS eerder dit jaar de
Iraanse generaal Qassem Soleimani heeft vermoord op een
vliegveld van Bagdad……. Het is dan ook een schande dat Nederland
weer troepen stuurt naar Irak, terwijl de regering en het overgrote
deel van het volk van Irak, de VS en alle andere buitenlandse troepen
het land uit wil hebben….. Het is duidelijk dat de VS aanwezig
blijft in Irak en Syrië t.b.v. Israël en de strijd tegen Iran, ook
al heeft Iran nooit de VS of Israël aangevallen, terwijl Iran raketten heeft die met gemak elke stad in Israel deels plat kunnen leggen……….. 

Ook nu weer hoor je op de nationale radiozenders van Nederland, Duitsland, België en Groot-Brittannië zeggen dat Israël wil voorkomen dat het met een kernwapen zal worden aangevallen door Israël, dit ter verdediging van deze laffe moordaanslag, terwijl Iran zelfs nooit een aanval heeft uitgevoerd op Israel met een ‘gewone raket…..’ Dat laatste melden die radiostations natuurlijk niet, nee in feite stelt men zich met de berichtgeving achter Israël, terwijl dat nu juist een land is dat bija ongestoord Irak, Syrie en Iran heeft aangevallen en blijft aanvallen (onder dekking van de VS), het laatste land ook nog eens door enregiecentrales aan te vallen……

Overigens moet niet uitgesloten worden dat de CIA de aanslag op Fakhrizadeh heeft gepleegd, dit daar de CIA al jaren werkzaam is in Iran, zoals deze terreurorganisatie vorig jaar heeft toegegeven (wat iedereen had kunnen weten die een beetje onderzoek heeft gedaan) en daar bijvoorbeeld demonstraties tegen de regering organiseert en de gewelddadige oppostitie steunt met geld, wapens, explosieven en advies…….. Ach ja, de VS de grootste terreurentiteit ter wereld en dat land durft Iran te beschuldigen van het destabiliseren van het Midden-Oosten, terwijl de VS met haar illegale oorlogen in dat deel van de wereld, plus die in Afghanistan en Libië deze eeuw al meer dan 2,5 miljoen mensen heeft vermoord, dit met hulp van andere NAVO-lidstaten, waaronder Nederland….. (deze illegale oorlogen hebben enorme stromen vluchtelingen op gang gebracht en hebben verder terreur aanslagen uitgelokt op de straten van Europa, hoewel die qua slachtoffers niet eens in de schaduw kunnen staan van de enorme hoeveelheid vermoorde mensen door de grootschalige westerse terreur in islamitische landen…….)

–  President Donald Trump’s gifts to Israel in the last few
weeks of his administration are, quite frankly, incomprehensible
based on any consideration that U.S. foreign policy should be
reflective of American national and international interests. On the
contrary, the nearly worldwide assessment of the United States as a
completely rogue nation headed by someone who is quite plausibly
insane and led by the nose by Israel has done considerable damage to
America’s ability to lead on important issues like nuclear
proliferation and climate change.

Much
of the bad decision making by Trump is derived from his having bought
into the Israeli view of Iran, which, in reality, does not threaten
Americans or U.S. interests. On his recent visit to Israel, Secretary
of State Mike Pompeo added
new sanctions against Iran while also releasing
a State Department statement defending Trump’s “maximum
pressure” against the Islamic Republic. He boasted about the damage
being done to the Iranian economy: “The Maximum Pressure campaign
against the Iranian regime continues to be extraordinarily effective.
Today, Iran’s economy faces a currency crisis, mounting public
debt, and rising inflation. Prior to the Maximum Pressure campaign,
Iran was exporting nearly 2.5 million barrels of oil per day. Now it
struggles to export even a quarter of that volume.”

Hostility
towards Iran also means continuing a military presence in Syria, an
Iranian ally, as well as in Iraq, which has a largely Shi’a
government that is friendly to Iran. Whatever troop withdrawals Trump
is envisioning between now and the time he leaves office will
certainly not include Syria and he will surely be leaving a
considerable presence in Iraq, deferring to Israeli interests.

Trump
and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo have doubled down on pleasing
Israel even though Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was
quick off the mark in acknowledging that Joe Biden had indeed won the
presidential election. Netanyahu was able to do so because he knows
that his influence over the White House is matched by his ability to
get favors from both major parties in the U.S. Congress. And if all
else were to fail, unlikely as that is, the Israeli leadership is
confident that it can make the American media dance to its tune. In
other words, no matter what Netanyahu does vis-a-vis the U.S.
election, Israel would find itself well positioned to manipulate
America’s foreign policy to favor its own interests.

Pompeo’s
latest and just concluded trip to the Middle East involved the usual
stops in Israel to be given his marching orders but he also was
bearing gifts. His visit was clearly intended to deliver the message
that as far as the Trump Administration is concerned Israel can do
whatever it wants relating to the Palestinian West Bank, which is now
home to 700,000 illegal settlers. Pompeo accomplished that part of
his mission in two ways. First, he
visited both the annexed Golan Heights as well as an illegal
Israeli settlement at Qasr el Yahud on the Jordan River. He also
stopped at a winery located on land blatantly stolen from
Palestinians, whose Florida based Jewish “owners” had previously
named a wine in his honor. It was the first time that an American
Secretary of State had visited a settlement, and it was a signal that
Washington no longer regards the exclusively Jewish enclaves as an
obstacle to peace and no longer considers them illegal.

Second,
Pompeo, while in Israel last Thursday, made two significant
statements regarding U.S. policies on Israel and the Palestinian
territories, revealing stronger support for Israel’s presence in
the West Bank. He
said that as a result of the State Department taking a
“reality-based foreign policy approach,” products exported to the
U.S. from the illegally occupied territory shall be marked as
Israeli.

He
elaborated “In accordance with this announcement, all producers
within areas where Israel exercises the relevant authorities –
most notably Area C under the Oslo Accords - will be required
to mark goods as ‘Israel’, ’Product of Israel’, or
‘Made in Israel’ when exporting to the United States.” In
other words, the United States is now endorsing the reality that much
of the formerly Palestinian West Bank – Area C comprises 60% of it
– is now both de
facto
and de
jure
part of Israel.

The
move was immediately
denounced by former Palestinian Chief Negotiator Hanan Ashrawi as
“…an attempt to legitimize the theft of Palestinian land and
plunder of Palestinian resources that runs counter fundamental
principles of international law and the global consensus.” And so
it is, but it was followed by a second statement which no doubt
pleased the Israelis but which should concern all Americans who are
troubled about the dramatic erosion of free speech in the United
States.

Pompeo,
standing next to Netahyahu, said the Boycott, Divestment and
Sanctions (BDS) movement was “a cancer” and anti-Semitic, adding
the U.S. would work to stop its funding. Netanyahu called the move
“wonderful.” Formed in 2005, BDS is non-violent. It is active in
many countries around the world and calls for a total boycott of
Israel, including cultural, economic and academic activities, over
the brutal Israeli repression of the Palestinian people.

Pompeo
personally pledged the U.S. government decision to “…immediately
take steps to identify organizations that engage in hateful BDS
conduct and withdraw U.S. government support for such groups. We want
to stand with all other nations that recognize the BDS movement for
the cancer that it is.”

An
accompanying State Department press
statement issued by Pompeo elaborated that “It is the policy of
the United States to combat anti-Semitism everywhere in the world and
in whatever form it appears, including all forms of discrimination
and hatred rooted in anti-Semitism. The United States strongly
opposes the global discriminatory boycott, divestment, and sanctions
(BDS) campaign (Global BDS Campaign) and practices that facilitate
it, such as discriminatory labeling and the publication of databases
of companies that operate in Israel or Israeli-controlled areas. As
we have made clear, anti-Zionism is anti-Semitism. The United States
is, therefore, committed to countering the Global BDS Campaign as a
manifestation of anti-Semitism. To advance this policy, I have
directed the Office of the Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat
Anti-Semitism to identify organizations that engage in, or otherwise
support, the Global BDS Campaign. In identifying such organizations,
the Office of the Special Envoy will consider whether an organization
is engaged in actions that are politically motivated and are intended
to penalize, or otherwise limit, commercial relations specifically
with Israel or persons doing business in Israel or in any territory
controlled by Israel.”

The
Pompeo statement is a declaration of war against a non-violent group
that seeks to bring about change through peaceful means. Many U.S.
states have already taken steps to punish BDS and its supporters and
there is legislation in Congress that will make it guilty of hate
speech as well as anti-Semitism due to its criticism of the Jewish
state. The legislation includes substantial fines and prison time. In
France, for example, it is already
illegal to advocate a boycott of Israel.

While
Pompeo was in Israel, lest there be any doubt about the Trump
Administration’s love for the Jewish state, the president himself,
speaking from Washington, announced that Sudan would
be establishing diplomatic relations with Jerusalem. He added
that many more countries would be doing likewise in the next two
months. That Sudan made its decision under intense American pressure
and due to suffocating sanctions imposed by Washington was not
mentioned by President Trump.

Trump
also responded favorably to another request from Netanyahu. Last
Friday his Justice Department blocked any extension of the travel
limitations imposed by the terms of the parole of convicted Israeli
spy Jonathan Pollard. The move came over the objections of many
in intelligence and national security communities, but was intended
to please Israel. Pollard, a former Navy intelligence analyst, is now
free from any travel restrictions and will move to Israel, where he
is regarded as a hero and has been granted citizenship in
absentia.
He was the most damaging spy in U.S. history, having revealed top
secret information on U.S. intelligence sources and communications,
some of which was passed on to the Soviet Union by Israel in exchange
for allowing the emigration of Russian Jews.

It
is being argued that both Trump and Pompeo have ulterior motives for
expressing their warm feelings towards Israel and all its works.
Pompeo would like to be the GOP presidential candidate in 2024 and
Trump would like to retain his control over the party. Either would
benefit from the powerful support of the Israel Lobby in the United
States and through solidifying their positions as being among the
greatest friends of the Jewish state. The tragedy is that what
benefits two more politicians on the make has absolutely nothing in
it for the American people. And from Joe “I’m a Zionist” Biden
we certainly can expect more of the same, both because the outgoing
Trumpsters are creating a web of complications around what is taking
place both with Iran and Israel that will be difficult to unravel and
because the new president would fear taking any steps not approved by
Netanyahu.

heeft een Palestijns bedoeïenen dorp gebulldozerd: de bewoners kregen 10
minuten tijd om spullen ‘veilig te stellen’ en ja wat kies je op zo’n moment….. Voorts heeft
Israël één auto en twee tractoren van deze Palestijnse mensen
geconfisqueerd, ofwel gestolen…..

Hoe
is het gvd mogelijk dat de wereld en nu dus ook een groot deel van de
arabische wereld wegkijkt van het enorme leed dat het verdrukte
Palestijnse volk wordt aangedaan en dat al ruim meer dan 70 jaar op
rij…… Nog een geluk dat er steeds meer Joden over de wereld zijn
die zich verzetten tegen het ongebreidelde geweld van de Israëlische
terreurstaat tegen het machteloze en verdrukte Palestijnse volk……

Keer op keer moeten Palestijnen als deze bedoeïenen verkassen en raken ze meer en meer grond kwijt, zogenaamd voor militaire oefeningen, zodat ze al lang niets meer kunnen verbouwen en zijn aangewezen op schapenteelt, echter ook dat wordt hen onmogelijk gemaakt, deze walgelijke gewelddadige handelingen van Israël kan je dan ook niet anders zien dan als smerige etnische zuiveringen….. (Israël hoopt dat Palestijnen uiteindelijk verkassen naar een ander land; in het hieronder opgenomen artikel stelt de schrijver Hass dat Israël deze Palestijnen wil gebruiken als arbeiders, echter zoals je uit het voorgaande zal begrijpen, ben ik het daar niet mee eens)

Het
westen dat zo’n grote bek heeft over mensenrechtenschendingen, over
etnische zuivering, over misdaden tegen de menselijkheid, over het
vermoorden van ongewapende demonstranten, kijkt uiterst hypocriet weg
van deze terreur die gepaard gaat met alles waar het westen zogenaamd
tegen is…….. Sterker nog: westerse politici en media doen commentaar als dat van mij af als antisemitisme, terwijl dit niets met Jodenhaat te maken heeft, maar alles met kritiek op ronduit fascistisch geweld, dat overal ter wereld bestreden moet worden, maakt niet uit wie zich schuldig maakt aan dergelijk geweld!!

–  The Civil Administration gave the families living in the
Palestinian hamlet of Khirbet Humsa in the northern Jordan Valley
just 10 minutes to remove their possessions from the tents last
Tuesday. Fatma Awawda, 23, held her 1-year-old daughter Larin. She
was paralyzed by the sight of the military jeeps and administration
workers in fluorescent vests who got out of them, by the bulldozers,
by the soldiers, by all the shouting.

But
she pulled herself together quickly so she could empty as much as
possible from the tent that was her home. What to take first? The gas
canister? The cradle? Clothing and blankets? The mattresses? The
stove? The plastic toys that arrived in a “CARE” package? The
onions and potatoes? The rice? She put Larin down in the back seat of
the family’s beat-up Subaru. She’ll be warm and safe there, and
I’ll have my hands free, she figured.

Larin
wasn’t the only one to be put in the car for shelter: Four newborn
lambs, too young still to be sent to the hills with the older sheep,
were placed in the trunk. After a while, one of the Civil
Administration workers took the bundled baby girl out of the car and
handed her to one of the adults. The keys were in the car. A soldier
got in and started driving. The lambs were still in the trunk.

“The
men started running after the car, shouting at the soldier to stop,”
Awawda said on Friday, three days after the
demolition order was carried out, leaving 11 families – 74
people, including 41 children – homeless. The lambs were rescued.
The car was confiscated.

Another
toddler, two years old, wet her pants while watching the bulldozer
strike the makeshift structures that were her home. The children’s
wails were drowned out by the noise of the demolition. Two and a
half-year-old Mohammed shouted at a soldier, “Go away, go away!”
His mother, Ansar Abu al-Kabash, said her cousin was born just the
day before. “She doesn’t have a name yet. During the demolition I
sat my sister-in-law down on the side, with the baby in her arms.
They’ve gone somewhere else now. They couldn’t stay here in the
tent they gave us in the middle of all the junk.”

On
Friday, her 4-year-old son Ismail had yet to calm down and kept
crying. Mohammed was still fuming. Their 3-month-old sister Hadil,
laying in a small crib in the emergency tent the family received,
seemed to pick up on their unhappiness and added her own angry cries.

In
terms of the number of people made homeless, this is the largest
demolition operation carried out by the Civil Administration since
2010. In terms of the number of structures that were torn down, it is
the most extensive demolition operation since 2016, knocking down 11
tents and huts used as living quarters, 29 tents and shelters for
sheep (about 1,000 animals), plus 10 sheep pens, three sheds, nine
tents used as kitchens, 10 portable toilets, two solar panels, 23
water tanks, plus stalls and feeding troughs for the sheep.

Precious
water was spilled. Sacks of animal feed were ruined. Two tractors and
Awawda’s Subaru were confiscated. The statement from the
Coordinator of Government Activity in the Territories about “an
enforcement action against seven tents and eight animal pens” bore
no resemblance to the actual scale of destruction.

Some
of the Humsa residents say the convoy of military jeeps appeared at
10 in the morning. Others think it was at 11. Some remember seeing
six bulldozers and diggers, others think there were four. Some say
the demolition force made its first stop at the second of four tent
encampments that made up this community of shepherds. The encampments
are spread out from west to east, with about two kilometers
separating them. Others say the force came to the third encampment
and then split up.

But
all remember that the first thing the men of the community did was to
run to all the corrals and get the sheep out to the surrounding
hills. “The problem is that it’s the lambing season,” Abu
al-Kabash said. “What will happen to the lambs? Where will we keep
them? How will we take care of them?”

Some
of the sheep gave birth afterwards in the hills. Finding shelter for
the sheep and newborn lambs was the most urgent task, because the
families’ livelihood depends on the sheep. It’s their way of
life, one they will not give up.

The
search for grazing areas is what brought the Awawda and Abu al-Kabash
families, originally from the village of Samu’a in the southern
Hebron Hills, to the northern Jordan Valley. The northern migration
began in the 1970s and 1980s, when the grazing lands near Samu’a
and Yatta began to shrink and access became more difficult due to
military bans and Israeli construction. In 1948, the families from
Samu’a already lost a large chunk of their land that was left on
the Israeli side of the Green Line. Due to population growth, the
limited water supply Israel permits to the Palestinians, increasing
drought and expanding settlements, more sheep breeders from Samu’a
moved north to the Jenin and Tubas area.

The
Abu al-Kabash and Awawda families lease land owned by people from
Tamun and Tubas. On this land they erected their simple dwellings,
and there they also grow wheat and barley for their own needs.

But
Israel declared the area a “firing
zone” and that is COGAT’s* explanation for the massive
demolition, as it has been for many of the recent
demolitions and restrictions imposed by Israel on Palestinian
construction and movement in the West Bank. Firing Zone 903 alone,
where Humsa is, took 80,000 dunams (about 20,000 acres) of land from
Palestinians in the northern West Bank. Since 2018, the residents of
Humsa have had to evacuate at least 20 times due to military
exercises in the area. “Israel didn’t leave us any land to plant.
Without our sheep, we’ll become beggars,” says Yusef Abu Awad.
“Israel does not want us to have our own source of income. It wants
us to work for the Israelis.”

The
demolition of each encampment lasted about half an hour.
Sixty-year-old Aisha Abu al-Kabash, Ansar’s mother-in-law, who has
difficulty walking, says the Civil Administration workers removed
some of the contents of her tents in the second encampment. Whatever
they didn’t remove was demolished or buried under the tents’
remains. Umm Walid al-Kabash, from the third encampment, says through
tears: “If only they had informed us ahead of time. We would have
been able to save more things. The taboun for baking bread was also
destroyed.”

Relatives
of the Humsa residents who live not far away tried to drive over and
see what was going on as soon as they heard, but were stopped by
soldiers. Their children crossed the hills on foot to get closer to
the scene. Photographers were also stopped by soldiers, so there is
no footage of the demolition itself. Only the mute testimony of the
tumble of debris: mounds of rods and creased canvas, sheets of
plywood, netting, simple furnishings, fabrics, playpens (since
Tuesday these were put inside the emergency tents that were donated
to the community), kernels of corn (food for the sheep) scattered on
the ground. The families hastened to wrap their food and some of
their belongings in thick sheets of plastic to protect them from the
rain that began falling that night.

After
scenes of the extensive demolition were publicized, on Friday a large
EU delegation came to view the site. The foreign ministries of
Belgium, Britain, Ireland and Luxembourg issued condemnations and
said the demolition was in violation of international law. But Ansar
said: “What’s new here? They don’t know what Israel is? They
don’t know that Israel wants to get rid of us and bring more
settlers here instead?”

Mohammad Alzoghayer (hongerstaker) moet worden vrijgelaten

Mohammad
Alzoghayer zit al 6 maanden gevangen in ‘administratieve detentie’
zonder dat er een aanklacht tegen hem is ingediend, op zich al een misdaad tegen de menselijkheid en een grove schending van mensenrechten door Israël….. Alzoghayer is
een vreedzame activist die de Hebron gemeenschap van Palestijnen
organiseert tegen de enorme willekeur, geweld en vernederingen die de
fascistische apartheidsstaat Israël dag in dag uit laat neerdalen op
dit verdrukte volk……

Alzoghayer
is al 18 dagen in hongerstaking en het is dus zaak dat deze man zo
snel mogelijk wordt vrijgelaten, zeker nu het Coronavirus ook
tekeer gaat in Israël en in haar gevangenissen, waar verzwakte
mensen en chronisch zieken grote kans lopen om na besmetting te
overlijden…… (overigens ook in de ‘Palestijnse gebieden’ maakt het virus veel slachtoffers en gezien de gezondheidszorg in die gebieden en de vele verzwakte mensen daar is ook dat geen wonder….)

De
secretaris-generaal van de VN, António Guterres, heeft Israël
opgeroepen om Alzoghayer vrij te laten, de organisatie Friends of Hebron heeft voor
dat doel een petitie op poten gezet, lees en teken deze ajb en geeft
het door!!

Jeremy Corbyn uit Labour gezet op basis van antisemitisme leugen

Ongelofelijk
maar waar: nadat Labour de Britse verkiezingen heeft overgedragen aan
de Tories, door de leider van Labour voorafgaand aan die
verkiezingen van antisemtisme te beschuldigen, een uiterst smerige
leugen, heeft de huidige Labour voorzitter Keir Starmer Corbyn uit de
partij gezet…….

Niet
alleen de top van Labour heeft zich schuldig gemaakt aan het
besmeuren van Corbyn, maar ook de reguliere media, inclusief de
zogenaamd onafhankelijke BBC beschuldigde zich met volle inzet aan deze anti-Corbyn
campagne……

Corbyn
heeft zich juist z’n politieke leven lang verzet tegen antisemitisme en racisme, voorts was
hij o.a. bevriend met Hajo Meijer, een concentratiekamp overlevende
en lid van ‘Een ander Joods geluid’, ook had hij een paar
mensen van Joodse komaf in zijn team…….

Corbyn
had en heeft volkomen terecht kritiek op de bloedige politiek van de fascistische
apartheidsstaat Israël tegen het verdrukte Palestijnse volk, echter dat heeft totaal niets met
antisemitisme te maken, elk land dat als Israël zo met minderheden
omgaat, kon en kan rekenen op zware kritiek van Corbyn……

Overigens
ook de media buiten Groot-Brittannië hebben zich beschuldigd aan
deze smerige campagne tegen Corbyn, ook de Nederlandse media,
waaronder de zogenaamd onafhankelijke NOS…….

Eén
ding is zeker: politici met een duidelijk linkse inslag mogen in de meeste westerse landen de
verkiezingen niet winnen, of je het nu over Jeremy Corbyn hebt, dan wel
over Bernie Sanders (of de SP) zij mogen simpelweg niet aan de macht komen en
daarvoor haalt men alles uit de kast, zie hoe Sanders verslagen werd
door Hillary Clinton in 2016 en dat op een heel smerige manier, toen
dit uitkwam via haar geopenbaarde e-mails, werd Russiagate verzonnen en verdween
haar uiterst misdadig gedrag onder het tapijt……

“Information
Clearing House”
– JEREMY CORBYN “is as much a racist or anti-semite as my former
boss Nelson Mandela” and must be restored to membership of the
Labour Party, former South African MP Andrew Feinstein told a rally
in defence of the ex-Labour leader on Sunday night.

Mr Feinstein, the son
of a Holocaust survivor who lost 39 relatives in the Nazi camps of
Auschwitz and Theresienstadt, stressed that the Labour left must have
“zero tolerance” for anti-semitism.

But he denounced “an
attempt by the mainstream media and the Labour Party leadership to
wish away left-wing Jews” who supported Mr Corbyn, “to behave as
if we do not exist … an attempt to do away with an extraordinary
tradition of Jewish socialism and support for liberation movements
from Pretoria to Palestine.”

The former MP spoke at
a Defend Jeremy Corbyn, Fight Racism, Build Socialism rally called by
the Radical Alliance, a group of Labour and non-Labour socialists,
alongside MPs including John McDonnell and Ian Lavery, trade
unionists and socialist and anti-racist campaigners and activists.

Unison assistant
general secretary Roger McKenzie, speaking in a personal capacity,
said that he would not walk away from his friend Mr Corbyn, having
“stood side by side with him on picket lines and at anti-racist
demonstrations. This is someone who hasn’t flinched from the
anti-racist struggle in the 30-plus years I’ve known him.”

Unite’s Howard
Beckett said that Britain could have a Labour government now,
potentially avoiding the Tories’ disastrous mishandling of the
coronavirus pandemic, had Mr Corbyn not been undermined by Labour MPs
and staff and by “a shadow cabinet, Keir Starmer foremost among
them, who betrayed our class over Brexit and allowed it to divide us
to the extent that we failed to win an election.”

Julia Bard of the
Jewish Socialists Group warned that the entanglement of anti-semitism
in Labour’s left-right struggle in recent years had “made
anti-semitism on the left much more difficult to challenge.”

But when minorities
including Jews are under attack around the world, “who should we go
to for support — institutions that have declared support for Trump
like the Board of Deputies, that refuse to criticise the Tories for
their close links to fascists across Europe, or to people like
Jeremy, who has anti-racism woven through his political being?”

De Verenigde Arabische Emiraten (VAE, de Engelse versie is: UAE) en Bahrein hebben een
‘vredesakkoord’ (lees: handelsakkoord) gesloten met de fascistische apartheidsstaat Israël en
dat ‘onder de bezielende’ leiding van de gewelddadige en
psychopathisch fascistische VS president Trump…… Een ‘vredesakkoord’
terwijl deze partijen in feite nooit direct met elkaar in oorlog zijn
geweest en intussen al weer jaren handeldrijven…. ‘maar goed…’
Uiteraard wenst Trump daar ook wat voor terug te zien t.b.v. de wapenindustrie in de VS, dus kondigde
hij aan dat hij voor miljarden aan wapens wenst te verkopen aan de
VAE…….

De VAE
aan wie Trump (nog meer) wapens wil leveren*, hebben o.a. meegewerkt aan de genocide in Jemen en ondanks dat ze hun
troepen hebben teruggetrokken is het wel duidelijk dat ze de
grootschalige Saoedische terreur tegen de sjiitische bevolking van
Jemen nog steeds dik steunen…..

Door de
voortdurende hongersnood in Jemen is het aantal
Coronadoden daar in verhouding gigantisch en behoort Jemen nu tot de
landen met de meeste Coronadoden, logisch mensen zijn verzwakt en een
stevige griep als COVID-19 is genoeg om verzwakte mensen met bosjes
tegelijk te doden……

In Jemen
is al jaren sprake van een genocide op de sjiitische bevolking iets
dat blijkbaar niemand in het westen ook maar ene moer kan
verdommen…….. Terwijl het toch de westerse politici waren die na
de genocide in Rwanda durfden te zeggen dat dit niet nog eens zou
worden getolereerd……. Intussen moet het dodental in Jemen de 500.000 al
ver zijn overschreden, zeker is dat minstens 100.000 kinderen het leven hebben gelaten in deze heel smerige genocide…….. 

Het doelbewust uithongeren van de sjiitische bevolking in Jemen door de Saoedische terreurcoalitie, met actieve hulp van de VS en Groot-Brittannië is een manier van handelen die men in de middeleeuwen gebruikte om steden op de knieën te dwingen >> zonder meer een grove misdaad tegen de menselijkheid!!! Dit nog buiten het bombarderen van ziekenhuizen, scholen, waterzuiveringsinstallaties, markten en woonwijken door die terreurcoalitie…….

Het
maakt Trump geen sodemieter uit dat hij met nog meer wapenleveranties een hele berg olie gooit op het al in brand staande Midden-Oosten, het
interesseert hem hoegenaamd geen donder: geld verdienen is het devies
van hem en zijn vrienden in het militair-industrieel complex………

Bovendien
is het voor 100% zeker dat de VS landen als de VAE wil volproppen met
wapens om daar t.z.t. een oorlog mee te kunnen beginnen tegen
Iran……… Iran ook al een land waar de bevolking verzwakt is door
handelen van de VS, in dit geval sancties, die bijna geen land durft
te overtreden, daar ze anders de knoet in de nek zullen krijgen van
de VS en bedrijven die zich niet houden aan de regels kunnen verder
opereren in het buitenland wel vergeten……… Kortom terreur van
enorme omvang, maar ja wat wil je, we hebben hier tenslotte wel te
maken met verreweg de grootste terreurentiteit die deze aarde ooit
heeft gezien: de VS ofwel het Vierde Rijk……..

Het
onderstaand schrijven is van CODEPINK en is een petitie die wij logischerwijs niet kunnen tekenen. Mocht je hier vrienden uit de VS hebben,
of in de VS, vraag ze dan ajb deze petitie te tekenen, immers
het Midden-Oosten heeft allesbehalve nieuwe destabilisatie nodig van
de VS (met hulp van andere NAVO partners, waaronder Nederland), die hebben het gebied al in vuur en vlam gezet en dat tegen de
prijs van meer dan 2,5 miljoen doden in Irak en Syrië, inclusief de doden van de illegale oorlogen tegen Afghanistan en Libië……..)

Oh en
mocht je denken dat het onder Biden beter zal gaan, kan ik je alvast
uit de droom helpen: de kans dat hij Iran daadwerkelijk zal
aanvallen is zelfs groter dan onder Trump….. Vergeet verder niet dat
hij als vicepresident onder Obama heeft meegedaan aan de genocide in Jemen en
ook hij zal met veel plezier de VAE, Bahrein en Saoedi-Arabië
blijven voorzien van wapens, munitie, plus rollend, varend en
vliegend oorlogstuig……..

Over
Saoedi-Arabië gesproken: vreemd dat men in de westerse media net
doet alsof dat land geen banden heeft met Israël, immers zonder dat
er zo’n ‘fake vredesverdrag’ lag of ligt, drijven deze twee landen al
jaren handel onderling en dat had iedere journalist die zichzelf een
beetje serieus neemt kunnen weten…….

Naast
Jemen is het andere grote slachtoffer van deze valse deals het zo
verdrukte Palestijnse volk, ook al een volk dat wat betreft de
westerse reguliere media en politiek kan doodvallen……..

ARMING THE MIDDLE EAST!

Every
once in a while we find ourselves agreeing with the very person we
are usually railing against. Today, that person is the I
♥️Israel
hawk,
Representative Eliot Engel. 

Yesterday,
after President Trump gave notice to Congress that he plans to sell
billions in weapons to the UAE, Engel, chairman of the House Foreign
Affairs Committee, released a statement expressing apprehension.
While his concern (not ours) centered around how this deal might
jeopardize “Israel’s
qualitative military edge,” he also correctly called on Congress
not to rubber-stamp a rushed arms sale that may start a new Middle
East arms race. “Will the price for normalization with Israel be an
infusion of advanced weapons [to the UAE]? Is this wise?” he asked.
He pointed out that weapons to the UAE will likely result in more
Arab states asking for weapons and that this will put American
national security at risk.

Engel
is wrong that keeping Israel more highly armed than its neighbors
will keep the American people safe, and we are glad that he is being
replaced in Congress by someone who supports Palestinian rights, but
he’s spot on that arming the Middle East to the teeth makes the US
(and the entire world) less safe. Please
take two minutes right now to write
your senators and representative and ask them to join Rep. Engel in
calling for a careful examination of the deal. Tell them to go
further: they should oppose the deal because it will fuel a new arms
race and because of how the UAE has been using US weapons in the
brutal war in Yemen. 

While
the UAE officially pulled out of the war in Yemen in 2019, they
remain involved behind the scenes and are yet to be held responsible
for the immense suffering that they caused. As a result of the
Saudi-UAE airstrikes that decimated the healthcare facilities and
infrastructure, Yemenis are suffering from massive malnutrition and
Yemen now has one of the highest COVID death rates in the world. The
UAE has also been found guilty of defying a UN arms embargo to supply
weapons to Libya. The last thing the UAE deserves for what they have
done in Yemen and Libya is a reward of more weapons.

Netanyahu
— who originally pretended that he didn’t know that the
normalization deal included a weapons sales deal — is saying that
if the US sells its highly sophisticated F35s to the UAE, then Israel
needs more weapons to maintain its “qualitative military edge.”
It’s bad enough that the Israel-UAE normalization deal is further
entrenching Israeli apartheid and stomping on Palestinian rights, but
to reward Israel with EVEN MORE WEAPONS is criminal. Israel is a
rogue apartheid state that should be tried at the ICC, not rewarded
with more weapons.

priorities in the Middle East should be freeing Palestine, ending the
war in Yemen, and normalizing relations with Iran, not further ARMING
THE MIDDLE EAST! No matter what administration we have in 2021, we

ACT.IL
is de Israëlische trollenfabriek die elk commentaar op Israël zou
‘aanvallen’ met positieve uitingen t.a.v. Israël, uiteraard met
medeneming van kritiek op het geuite negatieve commentaar op Israël,
dit gecombineerd met meldingen van antisemitisme aan platforms als
Facebook. Echter ACT.IL kan het werk niet aan vanwege de vele publicaties op
het internet. Daarom zetten rechtse zionistische organisaties* Facebook (en YouTube) onder druk om elke kritiek
op Israël als antisemitisch en haatzaaierij te bestempelen en daarom
te verwijderen van haar platform……

Hier
de definitie van antisemitisme zoals die in 2016 en werd goedgekeurd
door de 31 landen die lid zijn van de International Holocaust
Remembrance Alliance (IHRA):

“Antisemitisme
is een bepaalde perceptie van Joden die tot uiting kan komen als een
gevoel van haat jegens Joden. Retorische en fysieke uitingen van
antisemitisme zijn gericht tegen Joodse of niet-Joodse personen en/of
hun eigendom en tegen instellingen en religieuze voorzieningen van de
Joodse gemeenschap.”

In
die definitie staat te lezen: retorische en fysieke uitingen van
antisemitisme zijn gericht tegen Joodse en niet-Joodse
personen en/of hun
eigendom en tegen
instellingen en religieuze voorzieningen van
de Joodse gemeenschap…… Ofwel ook kritiek
op Israëlische nederzettingen of op de Israëlische staat, het leger
en zelfs Israëlische bedrijven die hun boek ver te buitengaan,
kunnen worden aangemerkt als antisemitisme, immers de genoemde
organisaties worden geleid door Joden…….. Sterker nog, als zo’n bedrijf in handen van een Jood, maar wordt geleid door een niet-Jood, is kritiek op zo’n bedrijf ook antisemitisch!!

Facebook
stelt nu nog dat het kritiek op Israël niet ziet als antisemitisme,
echter het is maar de vraag hoe lang Facebook haar rug recht zal
houden na het pleidooi van IHRA, zeker als je ziet, dat Palestijnen massaal van Facebook
werden uitgesloten, daar ze kritiek leverden op de vreselijke
behandeling die zij hebben te verduren van de fascistische
apartheidsstaat Israël….. Tel dat op bij de aanstelling van Emi Palmor voor de censuurafdeling van Facebook (zij was eerder hooggeplaatst bij Israëlische ministerie
van justitie**) en je begrijpt dat het niet lang zal duren
voor Facebook om zal gaan……………

“Information 
Clearing House”
– With its 2.7 billion users, Facebook is the world’s largest
and arguably most influential social media platform. Therefore, it
comes as no surprise that right-wing Zionist organisations have
identified it as a key platform to promote their agenda.

Several years ago, for
example, the Israeli Ministry of Strategic Affairs alongside students
from IDC, an Israeli university in Herzliya, helped
create ACT.IL, an “online community that will act to promote a
positive influence on the international public opinion towards the
state of Israel via social media platforms”. ACT.IL established
an army of trolls and then developed an app to make their
work more effective by coordinating mass reporting of Facebook posts
critical of Israel.

Soon, it became clear
that no army of trolls can cope with monitoring the massive amount of
content on Facebook. That is why, right-wing Zionist organisations
have recently begun pressuring Facebook to include criticism of
Israel as part of its own definition of hate speech. Their objective,
in other words, is to force Facebook to alter the algorithms it uses
to detect hate speech so the company’s own algorithms will
automatically remove any criticism of Israel from the platform.
Algorithms, they realised, are more efficient than trolls.

The
campaign

Working closely with
the Israeli government this past summer, the pro-Israel lobbying
group StopAntisemitism.org launched the new campaign after
receiving funding from right-wing philanthropist Adam Milstein. 

In July, Orit
Farkash-Hacohen, Israel’s Minister of Strategic Affairs, published
an op-ed in Newsweek urging social media companies to root
out the anti-Semitic “virus” by fully adopting the International
Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) working definition of
antisemitism.

A few weeks later, on
August 7, 120 organisations representing the “who’s who” of
Zionist right-wing groups sent a letter to Facebook’s
Board of Directors, calling upon them to fully adopt the IHRA
definition as the “cornerstone of Facebook’s hate speech policy
regarding antisemitism”.

This definition, which
has been endorsed or adopted in some official capacity by more than
30 countries, includes 11 examples of anti-Semitism, several of which
involve criticism of Israel. This is just the latest concrete
manifestation of how any critique of the Israeli government and its
politics now assumes the taint of anti-Semitism.

There is, to be sure,
some irony here. Historically, the fight against anti-Semitism has
sought to advance the equal rights and emancipation of Jews. Yet, in
the IHRA definition those who speak out against the subjugation of
Palestinians are called anti-Semites.

Thus, instead of
enabling the struggle against those wish to oppress, dominate and
exterminate Jews, this new definition of anti-Semitism comes after
those who wish to take part in the struggle for liberation from
colonial rule. In this way – as Judith Butler has observed – “a
passion for justice [is] renamed as anti-Semitism”.

Yet, the people behind
this campaign are neither interested in irony nor in justice, and
certainly not in justice for Palestinians. As Lara Friedman, the
president of the Foundation for Middle East Peace who wrote an expose
on the Facebook campaign for Jewish Currents, has pointed
out, their letter to the Board of Directors “represents the latest
front in the battle to use the IHRA definition to officially exclude
criticism of Israel from the bounds of acceptable discourse”.

Facebook
responds

The campaign seems to
have had an immense impact. Four days after receiving the letter from
the Zionist organisations, Guy Rosen, Facebook vice president for
Integrity, announced the organisation had updated its hate
speech policy to take into account certain kinds of implicit hate
speech, such as “stereotypes about Jewish people controlling the
world”.

Monika Bickert,
Facebook’s vice president of content policy, sent a letter to
the signatories, noting the company “draws on the spirit – and
the text – of the IHRA”, and that under Facebook’s policy,
“Jews and Israelis are treated as ‘protected characteristics’”.

Sheryl Sandberg,
Facebook’s chief operating officer, even wrote a personal
note to Milstein, who financed the campaign. She assured him that the
IHRA definition has been “invaluable – both in informing our own
approach, and as a point of entry for candid policy discussions with
organizations like yours”.

Yet, the company still
seems to be reluctant to adopt the parts of the definition that
relate to Israel, and it is not coincidental that in Facebook’s
responses they mention only hate speech towards Jews.

Friedman from the
Foundation for Middle East Peace cites senior Facebook official Peter
Stern who three months before the campaign was
launched asserted that: “We don’t allow people to make
certain types of hateful statements against individuals. If the focus
turns to a country, an institution, a philosophy, then we allow
people to express themselves more freely, because we think that’s
an important part of political dialogue … and that there’s an
important legitimate component to that. So we allow people to
criticize the state of Israel, as well as the United States and other
countries.”

The
battle continues

Unsurprisingly,
Facebook’s new hate speech policy has not satisfied the pro-Israel
lobby, and in the August 7 letter, part of the ire was directed
towards Stern, claiming that he had “admitted that Facebook does
not embrace the full adoption of the IHRA working definition because
the definition recognizes that modern manifestations of antisemitism
relate to Israel”.

In a tweet responding
to Sandberg’s letter, Milstein made it clear the campaign will
continue: “We look forward to working with @Facebook to ensure
#antisemitism is eradicated from the platform and the #IHRA working
definition of antisemitism is fully adopted by your organization.”

On the other side of
the political spectrum, a group of scholars (myself included)
specialising in anti-Semitism, Jewish and Holocaust history, and the
Israeli-Palestinian conflict wrote to Facebook about the
dangers of adopting the IHRA definition.

While urging Mark
Zuckerberg to “fight all forms of hate speech on Facebook”, we
called on him to refrain from “adopting and applying a politicized
definition of antisemitism, which has been weaponized to undermine
free speech, in order to shield the Israeli government and to silence
Palestinian voices and their supporters”.

If Facebook does
eventually bow down and include the full IHRA definition in its
algorithms, free speech on Israel/Palestine, which is already under
immense pressure, will receive a lethal blow. It is up to Facebook
users to voice their concern by notifying Zuckerberg and Sandberg
that they will abandon the platform the moment the media giant
decides to adopt the IHRA definition. Ultimately, we, the users, do
hold the power.

De
reguliere westerse media loven het ‘vredesakkoord’ (Abraham-akkoord)
van Israël met de Verenigde Arabische Emiraten (VAE) en Bahrein, zonder te
kijken waarom e.e.a. gebeurt en wat de gevolgen daarvan zijn. Niet zo
vreemd als je ziet dat diezelfde media de westerse terreur onder
leiding van de VS in het Midden-Oosten, Afghanistan en een paar
Afrikaanse landen van A
tot Z hebben gesteund en daar nog steeds achter staan, zelfs als
achteraf bewijzen boven tafel kwamen waaruit overduidelijk bleek dat deze illegale oorlogen ‘werden gelegitimeerd’ door leugens, zoals die over Irak
onder Saddam Hoessein als zou dat land massavernietigingswapens
hebben gehad…..

Het
grootste doel van dit Abraham-akkoord* is Iran nog verder te
isoleren (en zo een steeds grotere legermacht op de been te brengen
om dit land aan te vallen) dit vanwege de zogenaamde agressie van dit
land…… Terwijl datzelfde westen (nogmaals: onder aanvoering van
de VS) alleen deze eeuw al meer dan 2,5 miljoen mensen heeft vermoord
in de illegale oorlogen tegen Afghanistan, Irak, Libië en Syrië, echter ook middels de duizenden moorden
die in de loop van de tijd werden begaan met behulp van drones en
illegale geheime militaire operaties……

nog veel schandaliger is het feit dat het verdrukte Palestijnse volk
met dit Abraham-akkoord elke hoop op hulp en steun van haar
arabische familie verder kan vergeten, terwijl deze mensen zich al in
een wanhopige positie bevinden en geen eigen leven kunnen leiden
zonder te worden geconfronteerd met Israëlische terreur en dat op
dagelijkse basis het jaarrond……

Eén en
ander is nogmaals een teken dat deze reguliere westerse media alles
behalve onafhankelijk zijn en de oren laten hangen naar de steenrijke
eigenaren van die media en de neoliberale westerse politiek……

Vanmorgen sprak Bernard Hammelburg, de bolronde ‘buitenlanddeskundige’ van BNR, nogmaals lovende woorden over het Abraham-akkoord en uiteraard werd Iran als de grote boosdoener afgeschilderd, de nitwit spreekt zelfs over ‘de as’ Iran-Libanon-Syrië, alsof die meer bloed hebben vergoten, of zelfs maar in de buurt komen van wat ‘de as’ VS-Israël-de VAE-Bahrein-Saoedi-Arabië* aan bloed hebben vergoten…… Vergeet bijvoorbeeld niet dat Saoedi-Arabië en de VS de terreurgroepen in Syrië van wapens (inclusief rollend oorlogstuig en raketten), geld en militaire training hebben voorzien…… Om over de bloedige Israëlische terreur tegen het verdrukte Palestijnse volk nog maar te zwijgen, zoals het met scherp schieten op ongewapende demonstranten, waaronder kinderen, medisch hulpverleners en journalisten, dit tijdens de Great Return March (klik voor  berichten over die March op het label met die aanduiding, direct onder dit bericht)…….

Voorts voert Israël met grote regelmaat illegale bombardementen uit op doelen in Syrië, waarbij deze fascistische apartheidsstaat keer op keer het luchtruim van Libanon schendt…… (ook zou Israël zelfs doelen in Iran hebben gebombardeerd….)

Nee voor opperzak Hammelburg zijn de landen die met Israël heulen een coalitie, of geallieerden, terwijl dit uiteraard een as van het kwaad is, als bewijs daarvoor ook de genocide die Saoedi-Arabië, de VAE, Egypte en de VS uitvoeren in Jemen, waar intussen al minstens een half miljoen mensen moet zijn overleden, of beter gezegd: moet zijn vermoord (waaronder om en nabij 100.000 kinderen……) door grootschalige terreur en blokkades van voedsel, water, brandstof en medicijnen door de genoemde schoftenlanden…….. (de laatst genoemde zaken zijn zelfs misdaden tegen de menselijkheid!!!)

Ach ja, Hammelburg, de ploert die mensen op de sociale media  kakkerlakken durft te noemen, je weet wel zoals de nazi-Duitsers de Joden afschilderden voor en tijdens WOII…….

Opperschoften en oorlogsmisdadigers Pompeo en Natanyahu (deze twee hebben ze duidelijk te zien beiden achter de ellebogen……)

The
presidential election of 2020 is inching closer by the day, and
naturally, Israel
is a major beneficiaryof
the political jockeying that is taking place.

Given
what we already know about this administration it’s not completely
fantastical to think that it might resort to the very worstand
that if it did so Israel would be a large factor in it. 

Actually I
think it’s interesting how the further isolation of Iran is not a
much bigger talking point among analysts when they discuss Israel’s
new agreements with the autocratic Persian Gulf states of Bahrain
and the United Arab Emirates.Shared
enmity of Iran is the driving force behind Israel’s (now disclosed)
relations with these two states, as
well as others;
the humiliation of Palestinians, while an awful betrayal, is much
less a goal of the Gulf states than it is a consequence they are
willing to accept. Even if every neocolonial western-backed regime in
the Middle East decided to recognize Israel it wouldn’t solve
Israel’s true
existential issues.

Anyway,
the U.S., Israel and several Gulf states are out of the closet as a
front, and they are the “good guys,” while Iran, Hezbollah, Hamas
and whomever else “they” want to demonize are the “bad guys,”
and it seems like we lived through something
very similarnot
all that long ago. The international order may not be a
Hobbesian-like anarchy but it is ruthlessly rational in its amorality
and inhumanity. In this regard Israel has shown itself to be a great
success.

During
this holy week of contemplation,
it’s worth asking if a Jewish State in the Levant that was founded
against the will of the majority of the people who lived there and
that has defined itself in opposition to the flora and fauna of the
region, has
been worth the costs.
