Protesten Hongkong krijgen veel media aandacht, terwijl protesten in landen die westers gezind zijn vaak worden genegeerd…..

Caitlin
Johnstone schreef een artikel over het verschil in media
aandacht voor de protesten in Hongkong en protesten in niet westerse
landen die braaf doen wat het westen (lees; de VS) nodig acht, voor
de eerste is er enorm veel aandacht en voor de tweede is amper of
totaal geen aandacht…….

Niet
verrassend is het feit dat het ministerie van BuZa in de VS gebruik
maakt van deze gespleten aandacht voor protesten, wat zeg ik: die aandacht in de media wordt mede ingegeven door de overheid van de VS*. Zo liet Brian Hook,
een hielenlikker van oorlogsmisdadiger Bolton, in 2017 aan Rex Tillerson (die toen net VS minister van buitenlandse zaken was) weten dat mensenrechtenschendingen in
Rusland, China, Iran, Venezuela en Noord-Korea met extra veel
aandacht veroordeeld moeten worden, terwijl diezelfde schending van
mensenrechten in bijvoorbeeld Saoedi-Arabië, Indonesië, Filipijnen, Honduras en Israël het liefst (zo lang mogelijk) uit de media moeten worden gehouden……… Een en ander bleek uit een gelekt memo……. 

Johnstone stelt terecht dat wanneer er een protestbeweging als de Yellow Vests in de VS tekeer zou gaan, deze zo lang mogelijk verzwegen zou worden door de media en dat men bij wel publiceren woorden voor de demonstranten zou gebruiken als fascisten, antisemieten of Russische pionnen (of Russische trollen)…..

Overigens is er maar weinig aandacht voor het uiterst gewelddadige karakter van de demonstraties in Hongkong, tja dat past niet zo in het plaatje dat men het volk wil voorhouden: een gewelddadig China dat op het punt staat ‘vreedzame demonstraties’ de kop in te drukken……

Het voorgaande, de aandacht die de westerse politici en massamedia wel hebben voor demonstraties in Hongkong, Iran of Venezuela, is ook in Nederland de manier van berichten in de reguliere media (Telegraaf, Volkskrant, NRC, Radio1 enz. enz.). Journalisten van die media hier hebben al te vaak laten
zien zaken te laten liggen als deze niet in het belang van de
Nederlandse regering, de VS of de NAVO zijn, of als ze negatief uitpakken voor de bestaande neoliberale status quo….. 

De volkomen ten onrechte over een
paardendrol getilde hufter Max van Weezel (als was hij een journalist
van formaat), liet een paar jaar geleden op Radio1 geheel parmantig weten
bepaalde zaken zeker niet te zullen brengen (als deze bijvoorbeeld
onrust in de maatschappij zouden kunnen veroorzaken)…….

Vanmorgen
hoorde ik Paul van Gessel, oud-grofgraaier van AT5, op Radio1 zeggen:
“Geef ons brood en spelen”, toen men na 10.00 u. zat te zeuren
over ‘oude formules’ als ‘Man bijt Hond’ dat weer uitgezonden schijnt
te worden…….. Ofwel de zich journalist noemende van Gessel wil ‘brood en spelen’, een uitvinding van waarschijnlijk de Romeinen om
onrust onder het volk te sussen en zo protesten te voorkomen….. ‘Brood en spelen’ houden de mensen weg van wat er echt gebeurt in
de wereld en juist dat, het vertellen wat er werkelijk gebeurt is nu juist precies wat de reguliere media dag in
dag uit zouden moeten brengen……. Maar nee, geef van Gessel en
een heel leger andere Nederlandse ‘journalisten’ maar ‘brood en spelen’, dan kunnen ze daar
de kranten, websites, radio en tv mee vullen……

De NOS
op Radio1, ziet het dan ook als haar taak om in het Radio1 Journaal
‘s morgens zoveel mogelijk sport te proppen, dit nog naast ellenlange
reclameblokken en muziek waar niemand op wacht……… (brood en spelen) De gasten die
te horen zijn in het Radio1 Journaal hebben maar al te vaak weinig of
niets te brengen, waarbij de presentator de onderwerpen zo lang
mogelijk probeert uit te melken (onderwerpen als die ‘Van gewest tot gewest’), niet vreemd dus dat een presentator, zoals Jurgen van den Berg regelmatig vragen stelt waarop
de gast eerder in het gesprek al een antwoord heeft gegeven (niet zelden zelfs al 2 keer)…….. De eerder prima presentatoren van dit programma, Marcel Oosten en Frederique de Jong, moesten het veld ruimen voor minkukel van den Berg en daarmee werd het Radio1 Journaal een orgaan dat de status quo bewaakt en onrust moet voorkomen……**


Kortom: de westerse reguliere media zijn verworden tot propagandaorganen van het grootkapitaal, de neoliberale status quo en voor de illegale oorlogen die de VS met hulp van haar oorlogshond NAVO voert tegen landen waar de VS en de rest van het westen niets te zoeken hebben…… Overigens stelt Johnstone terecht dat er wel degelijk goede redenen kunnen zijn dat men demonstreert, waar je wel op moet letten of protesten niet zijn georganiseerd door de CIA, zoals deze terreurorganisatie dit bijvoorbeeld ook in Iran en Oekraïne heeft gedaan (en dat protest was dan ook in die landen uiterst gewelddadig)

How To Make Sense Of Foreign Protests, Conflicts And Uprisings

The
Australian Broadcasting Corporation, our government-funded media
outlet, has published an article titled “Australian
expat living in Hong Kong throws off business suit to join protest
movement“.
The entire story is in the headline: some random guy, who ABC keeps
anonymous but for the name “Daniel”, has joined the
protests in Hong Kong. That’s it. That’s the whole entire bombshell
newsworthy news story.

“In Australia we
have proper democracy but in Hong Kong, democracy is being slowly
eroded away and I’ll try to do whatever I can to try and help the
cause,” the anonymous guy told ABC.

This sort of enthusiastic
empty non-story cheerleading is typical for western media coverage of
the Hong Kong protests so far, while these same media outlets
consistently ignore or downplay protests against the government of
France, Israel, Honduras, India, Indonesia and any other region that
happens to fall within the US-centralized power alliance. It’s an
amazingly reliable pattern: the entire western political/media class
finds protests and uprisings endlessly fascinating when they are in
opposition to governments which haven’t yet been absorbed into the
imperial blob like China, Russia, Iran, Venezuela, Syria,
pre-collapse Libya, or then-Moscow-aligned Ukraine, but any protests
or uprisings within that empire are ignored at best or demonized at
worst.

If dissidents in the
United States began donning yellow vests and holding aggressive
demonstrations in the current media environment, you could safely bet
your bottom dollar that they would be ignored for as long as possible
and then smeared as fascists, antisemites and/or Russian pawns
thereafter. This would happen with absolute certainty.

Corporate
media’s interest in foreign protests dovetails perfectly with State

This very reliable trend
in the western media is very interesting, because it also happens to
be the known position of the US State Department.

In
2017 a
memo was leaked to Politico in
which the sniveling John
Bolton lackey Brian
Hook explained to DC neophyte Rex Tillerson how to perform his job as
Secretary of State with regard to human rights violations. Hook
explained that the US government must downplay and ignore the human
rights violations of US allies like Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the
Philippines while aggressively targeting unabsorbed governments like
China, Russia, Iran and North Korea for any allegations of human
rights violations on their part.

“In the case of US
allies such as Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the Philippines, the
Administration is fully justified in emphasizing good relations for a
variety of important reasons, including counter-terrorism, and in
honestly facing up to the difficult tradeoffs with regard to human
rights,” Hook explained in the memo.

“One useful
guideline for a realistic and successful foreign policy is that
allies should be treated differently — and better — than
adversaries,” Hook wrote. “Otherwise, we end up with more
adversaries, and fewer allies. The classic dilemma of balancing
ideals and interests is with regard to America’s allies. In
relation to our competitors, there is far less of a dilemma. We do
not look to bolster America’s adversaries overseas; we look to
pressure, compete with, and outmaneuver them. For this reason, we
should consider human rights as an important issue in regard to US
relations with China, Russia, North Korea, and Iran.”

This State Department
memo is really all you need to understand what’s going on whenever
there’s any kind of uprising or conflict in a foreign nation. Hell,
it’s almost all you need to understand the dynamics of empire in
general. And, combined with the consistent pattern we’ve seen in
coverage of protests and uprisings against empire-absorbed
governments versus unabsorbed ones, it certainly tells you all you
need to know about the state of the western media.

In theory the US
Department of State was meant to serve as a counterpart to what was
then called the Department of War (later falsely re-titled the
“Department of Defense”). In theory the State Department
was meant to specialize in peace and diplomacy in the same way the
War Department specialized in war. In practice the warmongers just
got two war departments.

Today:
Hong Kong publisher and democracy advocate Jimmy Lai met National
Security Adviser John Bolton in DC. After meetings
with @SecPompeo and @VP,

Understand this one basic
concept and you can understand all the hot topic foreign policy
issues of any given day: there is an alliance of nations, centralized
around US military and economic power, which effectively functions as
a single empire. This empire works tirelessly to either absorb
unabsorbed governments into its blob, or at least to undermine and
marginalize them so they can’t impede the empire’s growth. The goal
of the empire is total global domination without causing a nuclear
war and without the public noticing that they’re living in an empire.
In this sense it’s essentially a silent, slow motion third world war.

I see some of my readers
voicing confusion about the protests in Hong Kong, but if you
understand the basic dynamic I just described you’ll see that this is
really no different from the protests and uprisings we’ve seen in
Venezuela, Iran, Syria, Libya and Ukraine: the western
political/media class are backing an uprising which benefits the
imperial blob and undermines an unabsorbed government. This doesn’t
mean that the protesters don’t have grievances or that none of those
grievances are legitimate, it just means that you’re being told to
cheerlead for an agenda by empire narrative managers solely because
your doing so benefits that empire.

So don’t. Refuse to be a
pro bono CIA propagandist. This doesn’t mean you need to oppose the
protesters in Hong Kong, Venezuela or anywhere else, it just means
that the only people who benefit from westerners cheerleading a
CIA-approved uprising against an unabsorbed government are your
rulers, who work endlessly to manufacture support for pro-empire
agendas.

People who don’t get this
sometimes tell me that we should “support” the protesters
in a given unabsorbed region, but they’re always very reluctant to
say what they mean by “support”. Do they mean simply
joining the western mass media in uncritically cheerleading for an
uprising which benefits western power structures? Do they mean send
them money? Weapons? An emotional thumbs-up? Prayers? Getting someone
to say what they mean when they say we should “support” the
Hong Kong protesters or whomever is like pulling teeth, because it
would bring up a lot of cognitive dissonance to actually turn and
examine what’s behind the impulse they’re following: narrative
management. They’re promoting pro-empire narrative management, and
nothing more. 

And they’re doing this because the empire narrative
managers trained them to.

“Centrist”
empire loyalists tend to ignore the protests in places like France
while amplifying and cheerleading the protests in places like Hong
Kong. Right-wing empire loyalists sometimes do it a little
differently, actively conflating the Yellow Vests protests with
protests in places like Hong Kong despite the very different forces
that are at play in those two situations. But in both cases they’re
effectively mirroring the same State Department posture that Brian
Hook tried to educate into Rex Tillerson in 2017.

Don’t subject yourself to
such indignities. If the political/media class is going to
propagandize the masses into supporting the advancement of the
agendas of the empire, at least make them do it without your help.

CBS ‘nieuwsanalist’ Winnefeld (oud-admiraal) wordt mede betaald door wapenfabrikant Raytheon

Op 23 juni jl. publiceerde Zero Hedge (overgenomen van Anti-Media) een door Tyler Durden geschreven artikel waarin hij vertelt over de baan bij CBS van oorlogshitser en ‘nieuwsanalist’, tevens oud-admiraal James Winnefeld…… Naast het zand in de ogen strooien bij CBS kijkers ontvangt deze opperschoft jaarlijks 300.000 dollar van wapenfabrikant Raytheon……..

Winnefeld had eerder zware kritiek op Trump daar hij afzag van een vergelding tegen Iran wegens het neerhalen van een VS drone (volgens Iran gebeurde dit in Iraans luchtruim….)…..

De brutaliteit van de reguliere westerse media kent geen grenzen meer, media die zich er niet voor schamen zaken te verzwijgen, te verdraaien of te verzinnen, zo moet ook de aanstelling van Winnefeld als ‘nieuwsanalist’ bij CBS worden gezien…… Met een dergelijk figuur als ‘nieuwsanalist’ is onafhankelijke en objectieve journalistiek totaal onmogelijk en is lobbyisme voor de wapenindustrie en voor het (illegaal) oorlogvoeren door de VS gegarandeerd…..

Ook in Nederland is het wat dit betreft een gekkenhuis, men laat figuren als van Kappen* rustig opdraven om zijn mening aan te horen, waarna men hem bedankt voor ‘het bijpraten’ alsof de hufter een volkomen betrouwbaar burger is, die niet anders dan de waarheid vertelt, terwijl hij een ordinaire lobbyist is, die via misdadigerspartij VVD een plek in het corrupte lobbycentrum Eerste Kamer heeft gekregen………

Men vraagt van Kappen bijvoorbeeld op Radio1 dan ook maar al te graag naar de uitgaven voor Defensie en zoals je begrijpt die zijn altijd veel te laag, terwijl van Kappen dondersgoed weet dat alleen Duitsland, Frankrijk, Groot-Brittannië en Italië al 3 keer meer uitgeven aan defensie uh oorlogsvoering dan Rusland, met de VS erbij is dat al meer dan 10 keer zoveel……

Ook zaait van Kappen graag haat tegen alles wat Russisch is en jankt deze bill bluf mee in het koor van leugenaars die bijvoorbeeld zeggen dat Rusland De Krim heeft geannexeerd en met haar leger in Oost-Oekraïne staat, beiden enorme leugens en iedereen die dit wil kan dat zelf controleren, lullig genoeg niet in de archieven van de reguliere media, maar in de archieven van de sociale media, zoals die van Anti-Media, Zero Hedge, Caitlin Johnstone, RT, Sputnik en zo kan ik nog een half uur doorgaan….. Bovendien hebben we dankzij Julian Assange de beschikking over WikiLeaks, waar je middels de daar ondergebrachte officiële regeringsdocumenten van de VS kan zien welk smerig en doortrapt spel het westen o.l.v. de VS speelt in de wereld……

Op Radio1 en BNR is het overigens niet beter, de levend geworden oliebol Hammelburg, presentator op BNR, durft te zeggen dat hij onafhankelijk en objectief is (en dat zelfs een tijdlang middels een reclame spotje), terwijl hij aantoonbaar vaak heeft gelobbyd voor de buitenlandpolitiek van de VS, de NAVO en daarmee de belangen diende van het al eerder genoemde militair-industrieel complex……. Ook hij heeft bij een paar van de illegale oorlogen van de VS de leugenbrij herhaalt die de VS pleegt te serveren, hetzelfde geldt voor Syrië, waar de reguliere westerse media inclusief Hammelburg, de ene leugen op de andere stapelde en stapelt, en de door VS en NAVO-lidstaten gevoerde grootschalige terreur verdedigt als was het kerkelijk vrijwilligerswerk in het bejaardentehuis……

Maar toch, die Winnefeld slaat voorlopig weer alles en dan durft men bij CBS de vuilbek open te trekken over fake news (nepnieuws), terwijl dit nieuwsorgaan (als de andere massamedia) al decennia aantoonbaar fake news heeft gebracht, neem de verslaggeving voorafgaand aan en tijdens de illegale oorlogen tegen Afghanistan, Irak, Libië en Syrië….. Kilometers video materiaal en hele dossierkasten vol bewijzen van fake news, waar CBS en anderen zelfs niet voor één artikel hebben toegegeven fake news te hebben gebracht, nee sterker nog: men houdt de leugens gewoon vol………

Weg met de lobbyisten bij en in de politiek en die in de media, zeker in de politiek is dit voluit corrupt, voorts doen de media en politiek niet anders dan mensen bestoken met: -angst- en haatzaaierij, -fake news, -angstzaaien, -haatzaaien en -manipulaties o.a. met desinformatie!! Het zou de taak moeten zijn van de media om onafhankelijk te berichten, maar daarvan is al een paar decennia lang geen sprake meer……

(ZH) — How do you know the MSM is nothing more than the media wing of the military-industrial-complex? A Raytheon board member masquerading as an objective analyst is a good start.

Friday, CBS
News analyst
and retired Navy Admiral James Winnefeld Jr. slammed
President Trump for calling
off retaliatory
strikes on Iran over a downed US drone, while insisting
we must strike
Iran or else the
United States will “lose a lot of credibility.

Trump called
off the
planned strikes Friday, tweeting that “we were cocked &
loaded to retaliate last night on 3 different sights,” only to
learn that 150
people would die in the bombardments.
According to the New
York Times, Secretary
of State Mike Pompeo, National Security Advisor John Bolton and CIA
Director Gina Haspel were predictably hot-to-trot on military
action. Instead, Trump announced that “major
additional sanctions”
were coming Iran’s way and would be unveiled on Monday.

to be a board member of
military defense contractor Raytheon since
2017, raking in nearly $300,000 per year in total compensation
– something CBS
did not disclose.

Perhaps
CBS could have instead featured
one of the 76
retired US generals and diplomats who
warned against war with Iran in
a May 24 open letter?

Westers imperialisme op retour: VS ‘regime change motor’ loopt vast

Zelfs de

de regimes in die landen, dit ondanks het overlijden van een enorm
aantal mensen en dan m.n. de ouderen, kinderen en het zwakke deel van
de bevolking…… Zo hebben VS sancties tegen Venezuela intussen al
aan meer dan 40.000 mensen het leven gekost (vermoord door de VS, met hulp van
de EU en dus ook van Nederland….). Een ouder voorbeeld zijn de
sancties die de VS nam tegen Irak, ingesteld tegen het eind van de
jaren 90 in de vorige eeuw, daardoor overleden er 500.000 kinderen,
verantwoordelijk VS minister van BuZa hare kwaadaardigheid en
oorlogsmisdadiger Albright (onder opperschoft Bill Clinton) vindt nog
steeds dat dit ‘offer’ gerechtvaardigd was…….

Vltchek
stelt dat het nog niet is afgelopen wat betreft westers imperialisme,
maar dat e.e.a op z’n retour is, kan je meer dan duidelijk zien, neem Syrië, Iran en niet te vergeten Venezuela…. Dit ondanks alle tamtam, terreursancties en georganiseerde protesten (maar al te vaak uiterst gewelddadig….)
door meestal de CIA met het VS ministerie van BuZa aan de touwen

Mooi
artikel, al denk ik kijkend naar bijvoorbeeld Honduras en Colombia, dat de VS daar de touwtjes behoorlijk strak in handen heeft en al helemaal in een land als Brazilië met de fascistische Trump lakei
Bolsonaro, hetzelfde geldt voor Oekraïne…….. En gezien het enorme aantal militaire bases van de VS over de wereld (meer dan 800!!), die
voor kleine landen een fikse stimulans zijn voor de (veelal tanende) economie, zullen velen
niet durven opstaan tegen deze voor het land voordelige zaak, waarmee inkomsten gegenereerd worden voor zaken als infrastructuur en volksgezondheid
(al verdwijnt er ongelofelijk veel geld in de zakken van corrupte
politici en van ambtenaren, precies het soort figuren waar de VS het van moet hebben……) 

Het nadeel van het voorgaande ondervinden de bevolkingen tegen wie bij demonstraties ook VS militairen kunnen worden ingezet en het niet toestaan door de VS dat regeringen in die landen zich al te zeer gaan afzetten tegen de VS…… Maar toch is een opstand als in Soedan hoopgevend en
ondanks weinig aandacht voor deze opstand in de reguliere westerse
media, zou het volk toch langzaam weer macht op het leger
winnen…….

Vltchek wijst in zijn artikel ook op de reguliere westerse media, waar men voortdurend bezig is om landen als China en Rusland zwart te maken en te demoniseren, waar deze media het blijkbaar normaal vinden dat de VS alleen deze eeuw al meer dan 22,5 miljoen mensen heeft vermoord (veelal met hulp van NAVO-lidstaten, onder militair opperbevel van de VS), alsof dat de normaalste gang van zaken is…….. 

Waar Rusland en China niet eens in de schaduw kunnen staan wat betreft het enorme aantal slachtoffers dat onder VS verantwoordelijkheid is gevallen en dat NB in landen waar de VS niets, maar dan ook helemaal niets te zoeken had, heeft en zal hebben!! Ondanks dat feit zou je als je de westerse media moet geloven, echt de idee hebben dat Rusland en China dat aantal slachtoffers hebben gemaakt…… Waar die media ook nog eens kilometers aan fake news maakten met propagandaleugens over tegenstanders van de VS en de redenen voor het illegaal oorlogvoeren door de VS……. (wat men gewoon volhoudt, terwijl de bewijzen van tegenovergestelde overweldigend zijn……)

West is Failing to Overthrow “Regimes”

Clearing House” –  It used to be done regularly
and it worked: The West identified a country as its enemy, unleashed
its professional propaganda against it, then administered a series of
sanctions, starving and murdering children, the elderly and other
vulnerable groups. If the country did not collapse within months or
just couple of years, the bombing would begin. And the nation,
totally shaken, in pain, and in disarray, would collapse like a house
of cards, once the first NATO boots hit its ground.

Such
scenarios were re-enacted, again and again, from Yugoslavia to Iraq.

But
suddenly, something significant has happened. This horrific
lawlessness, this chaos stopped; was deterred.

The
West keeps using the same tactics, it tries to terrorize
independent-minded countries, to frighten people into submission, to
overthrow what it defines as ‘regimes’, but its power, its
monstrously destructive power has all of a sudden become ineffective.

It
hits, and the attacked nation shakes, screams, sheds blood, but keeps
standing, keeps proudly erect.

What
we are experiencing is a great moment in human history. Imperialism
has not yet been defeated, but it is losing its global grip on power.

Now
we have to clearly understand ‘Why?’, so we can continue our
struggle, with even greater determination, with even greater
effectiveness.

First
of all, by now we know that the West cannot fight. It can spend
trillions on ‘defense’, it can build nuclear bombs, ‘smart
missiles’ and strategic warplanes. But it is too cowardly, too
spoiled to risk the lives of its soldiers. It either kills remotely,
or by using regional mercenaries. Whenever it becomes clear that the
presence of its troops would be required, it backs up.

Secondly,
it, the West, is totally horrified of the fact that there are now two
super-powerful countries – China and Russia – which are unwilling
to abandon their allies. Washington and London do all they can to
smear Russia and to intimidate China. Russia is being provoked
continuously: by propaganda, by military bases, sanctions and by new
and newer bizarre mass media inventions that depict it as the villain
in all imaginable circumstances. China has been provoked practically
and insanely, ‘on all fronts’ – from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Tibet
and the so-called ‘Uyghur Issue’, to trade.

Any
strategy that could weaken these two countries, is applied. Yet,
Russia and China do not crumble. They do not surrender. And they do
not abandon their friends. Instead, they are building great railroads
in Africa and Asia, they educate people from almost all poor and
desperate countries, and stand by those who are being terrorized by
both North America and Europe.

Thirdly,
all the countries in the world are now clearly aware of what would
happen to them, if they give up and get ‘liberated’ by the
Western empire. Iraq, Honduras, Indonesia, Libya and Afghanistan, are
the ‘best’ examples. Submitting themselves to the West, countries
can only expect misery, absolute collapse and the ruthless extraction
of their resources. The poorest country in Asia – Afghanistan –
has totally collapsed under NATO occupation.

The
suffering and pain of the Afghan and Iraqi people is very well known
to the citizens of Iran and Venezuela. They are not giving up,
because no matter how tough their life is under sanctions and the
West-administered terror, they are well-aware of the fact that things
could get worse, much worse, if their countries were to be occupied
and governed by the Washington and London-injected maniacs.

And
everyone knows the fate of the people living in Palestine or Gollan
Heights, places which have been overrun by the closest ally of the
West in the Middle East, Israel.

Of
course, there are other reasons why the West cannot get any of its
adversaries to kneel.

One
is – that the toughest ones are left. Russia, Cuba, China, North
Korea (DPRK), Iran, Syria and Venezuela are not going to run away
from the battlefield. These are the most determined nations on earth.
These are the countries that have already lost thousands, millions,
even tens of millions of their people, in the fight against Western
imperialism and colonialism.

If
one is following the latest attacks of the West carefully, the
scenario is pathetic, almost grotesque: Washington and often the EU,
too, are trying hard; they are hitting, they are spending billions of
dollars, using the local mercenaries (or call it ‘local
opposition’), and then they quickly withdraw after wretched but
anticipated defeat. So far, Venezuela has survived. Syria survived.
Iran survived. China is fighting horrible Western-backed subversions,
but it is proudly surviving. Russia is standing tall.

This
is a tremendous moment in human history. For the first time, Western
imperialism is being not only defeated, but fully unveiled and
humiliated. Many are now laughing at it, openly.

But
we should not celebrate, yet. We should understand what and why this
is happening, and then continue fighting. There are many, many
battles ahead us. But we are on the right track.

Let
them try. We know how to fight. We know how to prevail. We have
already fought fascism, in many of its forms. We know what freedom
is. Their ‘freedom’ is not our freedom. Their ‘liberty’ is
not our liberty. What they call ‘democracy’ is not how we want
our people to rule and to be ruled. Let them go away; we, our people,
do not want them!

They
cannot overthrow our systems, because they are, precisely our
systems!
Systems that we want, that our people want; systems we are ready to
fight and die for!

Nadat
Bernie Sanders de Washington Post (WaPo) volkomen terecht verweet een haatcampagne tegen hem te voeren, hebben de massamedia in de VS
belachelijk en hysterisch gereageerd op deze beschuldiging…….. Lullig voor die media, maar belangrijke
ex-vertegenwoordigers van die media zijn het helemaal zat en hebben
‘een dik boek opengetrokken’ over hun ex-werkgevers en hun voormalige
collega’s.

Met
voorbeelden geeft men aan dat deze massamedia, zonder uitzondering
in handen van plutocraten of investeringsgroepen, zich onderwerpen
aan zelfcensuur, men weet prima welke onderwerpen wel of niet genoemd
kunnen worden, censuur die de eigenaren verwachten van hun
werknemers…… Caitlin Johnstone, de schrijver van het hieronderopgenomen artikel zegt niets over de zelfcensuur die zogenaamde
onafhankelijke journalisten zich opleggen, over berichten die
regeringen wel of niet kunnen schaden, ook die zijn er voldoende……*

Zo is er
zelden of nooit commentaar in de reguliere westerse media op ingrepen
van de VS elders, of het nu gaat om illegale oorlogen, staatsgrepen
of ronduit massamoorden begaan middels drones, aanvallen op verdachte
mensen, die minstens recht hebben op een eerlijk proces…….
Ronduit VS terreur waarbij bovendien meer dan 90% van de vermoorden
niet eens werden verdacht, dus veelal vrouwen en kinderen…….

Gelukkig
ziet ook Caitlin Johnstone, de schrijver van het hieronder opgenomen
artikel, dat langzaam maar zeker een kentering van zaken,
plaatsvindt. Zo gelooft het grootste deel van de VS bevolking terecht
niet dat de uitbater van een kindermisbruiknetwerk, Jeffrey Epstein,
zichzelf het leven heeft benomen (voor berichten over Epstein, klik
op het label met zijn naam direct onder dit bericht).

Johnstone
concludeert m.i. terecht dat de propaganda-oorlog, gevoerd in de
reguliere massamedia steeds minder effect heeft op de publieke opinie,
al verwacht ik niet dat er daarom snel verandering zal komen in die
propaganda, eerder valt te vrezen wat we nu al zien: de brengers van
het echte nieuws, de alternatieve media worden meer en meer
gedemoniseerd door de reguliere westerse massamedia en westerse
politiek, waarbij steeds meer platforms worden geweerd van het
internet…….. De volgende stap is het strafrechtelijk vervolgen
van de alternatieve media, waarbij het eindelijk duidelijk zal
worden wat een smerig spel media en politiek spelen en dat gesteund
door multinationals, de financiële maffia en het militair-industrieel
complex……..

Mass
Media’s Phony Freakout Over Bernie’s WaPo Criticism Is Backfiring

After
days of ridiculous,
hysterical garment rending by
mass media talking heads in response to Senator Bernie
Sanders’ utterly
undeniable assertion
that The
Washington Post has
displayed unfair bias against his campaign, people with extensive
experience in the mainstream press who are fed up with the lies are
beginning to push back. Hard.

Former
MSNBC producer Jeff Cohen has published
an article in Salon titled
“Memo to mainstream journalists: Can the phony outrage; Bernie is
right about bias”. Cohen details his experience with the way
corporate media outlets keep a uniform pro-establishment narrative
running throughout all their coverage without their staff having to
be directly told to to do this by their supervisors (though sometimes
that happens, too). He writes as follows:

“It
happens because of groupthink. It happens because top editors and
producers know — without being told — which issues and sources
are off limits. No orders need be given, for example, for
rank-and-file journalists to understand that the business of the
corporate boss or top advertisers is off-limits, short of criminal
indictments.

“No
memo is needed to achieve the narrowness of perspective — selecting
all the usual experts from all the usual
think tanks to
say all the usual things. Think Tom
Friedman. Or Barry
McCaffrey.
Or Neera
Tanden.
Or any of the elite club members who’ve been proven to be absurdly
wrong time and again about national or global affairs.”

Cohen’s
exposé follows the
phenomenal segment recently
aired on The
Hill‘s
show Rising,
in which former MSNBC star Krystal Ball and her co-host Saagar Enjati
both detailed their experience with the way access journalism,
financial incentives, prestige incentives and peer pressure were used
to push them each toward protecting establishment narratives in their
respective mainstream media careers. Ball said at one point she was
literally called into the office and forbidden from doing any
critical Hillary Clinton coverage without prior approval in the
lead-up to the 2016 election, saying that in mainstream journalism
jobs “you are aware of what you’re going to be rewarded for and
what you’re going to be punished for, or not rewarded for.”

“It’s
not necessarily that somebody tells you how to do your coverage, it’s
that if you were to do your coverage that way, you would not be hired
at that institution,” Enjati said. “So it’s like if you do not
already fit within this framework, then the system is designed to not
give you a voice. And if you necessarily did do that, all of the
incentive structures around your pay, around your promotion, around
your colleagues that are slapping you on the back, that would all
disappear. So it’s a system of reinforcement, which makes it so
that you wouldn’t go down that path in the first place.”

Rolling
Stone‘s
Matt Taibbi has also jumped in to push back against the absurd
denials of bias from the establishment media, publishing
a new article titled
“The Campaign Press: Members of the 10 Percent, Reporting for the
One Percent–Media companies run by the country’s richest people
can’t help but project the mindset of their owners.” Taibbi, an
award-winning journalist with lots
of experience in
the news media industry, writes that pro-establishment
narratives are advanced in mainstream press not because some explicit
order is handed down by a media-owning oligarch, but because “We
all know what takes will and will not earn attaboys in newsrooms.”

writes the following:

“The
news media is now loathed in the same way banks, tobacco companies,
and health insurance companies are, and it refuses to understand
this. Mistakes like WMDs are a problem, but the media’s biggest
issue is exactly its bubble-ness, and clubby inability to respond to
criticism in any way except to denounce it as misinformation and
error. Equating all criticism of media with Trumpism is pouring
gasoline on the fire.

“The
public is not stupid. It sees that companies like CNN and NBC are
billion-dollar properties, pushing shows anchored by big-city
millionaires. A Vanderbilt like Anderson Cooper or a half-wit legacy
pledge like Chris Cuomo shoveling coal for Comcast, Amazon, AT&T,
or Rupert Murdoch is the standard setup.”

Taibbi
is correct. Trust in the mass media continues
to plummet,
and these stupid, nonsensical hissy fits they throw whenever
criticized are only making it worse.

What
cracks me up most about all this is that the faux outrage over
Sanders’ criticisms of The
Washington Post was
completely unnecessary for everyone involved. They could have just
ignored it and let the news churn bury it, but they’re so insulated
in their little echo chambers that they seriously believed they could
get the public rallying to their defense on this. The general
consensus was something like “Ah ha! Bernie did that
media-criticizing thing that we all agreed nobody’s allowed to do
anymore! We’ve got him this time, boys!”

And
all they accomplished in doing this was giving honest journalists an
opportunity to inform the public about the insider tricks of their
trade. You may be absolutely certain that the information that has
been given to the public by Cohen, Ball, Enjati and Taibbi will
remain in high circulation throughout the Sanders campaign in
response to the increasingly shrill torrent of establishment smears,
breaking the spell of mainstream media trust for all who view it.

these damning insider criticisms of the mainstream American press are
coming out at the same time a
new Rasmussen poll finds
that less than one third of the US population believes the story
they’re being told by the corporate media about the highly
suspicious death of accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.
Despite the
mass media’s mad push to
tar anyone questioning the official narrative about Epstein as a
loony “conspiracy theorist”, only 29 percent of those surveyed
reported that they believed Epstein had committed suicide as they’ve
been told, while 42 percent believe he was murdered. Never in my life
have I seen such a widespread and instantaneous rejection of an
establishment-promulgated narrative in the United States.

This
is hugely significant. The entire imperial oppression machine is held
together with aggressive plutocratic propaganda; the ability of the
ruling class to manipulate the way people think, act and vote is the
only thing stopping the public from using the power of their numbers
to force real changes and create a new system that is not built upon
endless war, ecocide and exploitation. The mass media propaganda
engine is now at its weakest and most vulnerable point ever, and the
narrative managers’ attempts to regain control are only exposing
them more severely.

Power
is the ability to control what happens. Absolute power is the ability
to control what people thinkabout
what happens. Our rulers are rapidly losing this absolute power.

People
are waking up.

De Telegraaf is al decennia op ramkoers met Rusland, maar afgelopen vrijdag zetten de oorlogshitsers van dit lobbyorgaan voor de VS, de NAVO en het militair-industrieel complex een extra stap in haar haat- en angstzaaicampagne tegen resp. voor Rusland.

Men stelde dat de partners van F-16 piloten, die in 2017 het luchtruim van de Baltische staten bewaakten*, thuis werden lastiggevallen door mensen met een ‘Russisch accent…..’ ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!  Een Slavisch accent bedoelen de Telegrof oorlogshitsers, maar ja dat klinkt een stuk minder sensationeel, bovendien zouden het dan ook nog eens false flag operaties kunnen zijn, bijvoorbeeld in opdracht van de VS of Oekraïne, die beiden continu bezig zijn met het demoniseren van Rusland….. In de telefoontjes werd ‘het thuisfront’ voorgehouden dat de missie waar hun partners aan deelnamen niet zo verstandig was……

Uitermate vreemd dat dit pas meer dan een jaar later bekend wordt gemaakt, waar de MIVD dit verhaal niet wil bevestigen, anders dan te stellen dat dit wel vaker gebeurt……. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Blijkbaar mogen militairen in zogenaamd oorlogsgebied met de smartphone naar huis bellen, waar de ‘vijand’ de gebruikte smartphone kan hacken en zo het ‘thuisfront’ kan bellen….. Let wel: waar de MIVD dit weet en er blijkbaar niets tegen doet….. Hoe ongeloofwaardig wil en kan je een flutverhaal publiceren..??!!!

Het zal me niet verbazen als de MIVD dit bericht zelf anoniem heeft gelekt naar de Telegraaf, immers je kan Rusland nooit genoeg demoniseren en liegen over zaken kunnen de geheime diensten als geen ander…… (hoewel de reguliere media er ook weinig moeite mee hebben, zie de leugens en stemmingmakerij voorafgaand en tijdens de illegale oorlogen die de VS met de NAVO aan de hand, voerde tegen Afghanistan Irak, Libië en Syrië…. (en wat betreft Afghanistan, Irak en Syrië nog steeds voert)

* Die F-16 missie was vooral bedoeld om de Russen te tarten met voortdurende oefeningen langs het Russische luchtruim, waar men niet zelden even het Russische luchtruim invloog om de reactie van de Russen te testen……. Deze missie was ingegeven door de gigantische leugen dat Rusland De Krim was binnengevallen, terwijl het volk van Oekraïne, inclusief de oorspronkelijke bevolking, in een referendum massaal kozen voor aansluiting bij Rusland. Een referendum dat door internationale waarnemers als eerlijk en goed verlopen werd beoordeeld…… Niet vreemd dat men zich op De Krim wilde aansluiten bij Rusland als je bedenkt dat de door hen democratisch gekozen president Janoekovytsj, in een door de VS georganiseerde opstand werd verjaagd en vervangen door de zwaar corrupte neonazi en VS marionet Porosjenko……. Hillary Clinton, destijds minister van BuZa onder ‘vredesduif’ Obama, gaf voor deze machinaties maar liefst 4 miljard dollar uit….. Die zogenaamde annexatie door Rusland blijft men keihard volhouden ondanks het bewijs van het tegendeel…. Bijna dagelijks herhalen de reguliere westerse media deze smerige leugen, vanmorgen nog op BBC World Service, n.a.v. een bezoek van Putin aan De Krim……. (deze leugens zijn overigens ook te horen en te zien in/op Nederlandse media, waaronder totaal afhankelijke mediaorganen als de NOS, de Telegraaf en de NRC) Het kan je bijna niet ontgaan zijn dat ook het grootste deel van de westerse politici deze leugen blijven herhalen……..

Ghana: kustwateren leeggevist

Vanmorgen op BBC World Service het bericht dat de Ghanese kustwateren zo goed als leeggevist zijn, waarbij de presentator onmiddellijk China als de grote dader aanwees…..

Volgens de presentator heeft de Ghanese overheid een flink aantal vergunningen afgegeven aan haar beroepsvissers, van wie velen kano’s gebruiken. Er zouden geen vergunningen afgegeven worden aan buitenlandse reders, om dit te ontwijken kopen deze reders vergunningen van kleine vissers en zo kunnen de grote westerse en Aziatische reders met hun fabrieksschepen de kustwateren van Ghana leegvissen……

WDR had een paar maanden geleden al berichtgeving over deze zaak, toen wees men wel degelijk op vooral westerse reders die zich schuldig maken aan deze gang van zaken…..

Tja, de BBC is afhankelijk van de zittende regeringen en steunen dan ook het buitenlandbeleid van deze regeringen, waar zowel de vorige regering May, als die van de huidige topidioot Boris Johnson, China het liefst zoveel mogelijk demoniseren……..

Overigens is dit leegvissen van Afrikaanse kustwateren de oorzaak van piraterij, zoals eerder aan de oostkust van Afrika, alsook aan de westkust van Afrika. Voorts zoeken brodeloos geraakte vissers de vlucht richting EU…… Beide zaken zijn ook kostenposten voor de belastingbetalers in Nederland, terwijl de grote reders hun grote visfabriekschepen onder brengen in goedkope belastinglanden, dan wel onder de vlag van bijvoorbeeld Australië, zodat de inwoners van dat land niet te hoop lopen…. Neem firma Parlevliet & van der Plas, uit het ‘fijnchristelijke’ Katwijk, dat haar visfabriekschip de Margiris omdoopte tot de Abel Tasman en met dit achterlijk grote vissersschip de zeeën vooral ten zuiden van Australië leegvist……… ‘

Het programma ‘Today’ op BBC 4 had afgelopen woensdag oorlogshitser, racist en fascist Steve Bannon te gast voor een interview.

Ongelofelijk dat de BBC een racist en fascist als Bannon zendtijd geeft om diens gif te verspreiden, niet vreemd dus dat het interview een grote rel is in GB……. (zie o.a. de Twitterberichten in het hieronder opgenomen artikel)

Zonder
noemenswaardig commentaar kon Bannon zijn smerige praatjes en leugens
kwijt, als sprak hij als heerser van een Golfstaatje op de nationale
televisie…. Een interview bij een met privaatgeld opgerichte grensmuur aan de Mexicaanse grens (zie foto in artikel hieronder), ook prominent is de vervloekte VS vlag te zien, plus een jeep in militaire kleur, zodat je op de foto kan zien waarmee Bannons ‘psychopathisch brein’ bezig is, een ware patriot….. (gedver!)

Zo heeft
Bannon racisten eerder al voorgehouden, het niet een schande te
vinden dat men racist wordt genoemd, draag deze aanduiding met trots,
zo hield hij andere racisten in de VS voor, racisten die jaarlijks
een aantal moorden begaan op alles wat hen niet welgevallig is, dus
bewoners uit Latijns-Amerika en andere buitenlanden…… Alsof je
het hebt over de bruinhemden van Hitler in de 20er en 30er jaren van
de vorige eeuw…… (dat soort geteisem mag in de VS bovendien gewoon
rondparaderen met swastika’s, nazi vlaggen en andere nazi prullaria……)

Uiteraard
werd ook Trump verdedigd, zoals de taal die hij uitsprak over de 4
democratische politici, waar hij hen openlijk voorstelde maar te
vertrekken naar het geboorteland, even vergetend dat 3 van deze
vrouwen in de VS geboren zijn…. Volgens Bannon bewijst 1 van deze 4, t.w. Ilhan Omar Trump een dienst met haar optreden en zou ze inderdaad
terug moeten naar haar eigen land, waarbij hij de oproep van Trump
aanhangers herhaalde; “Send her back…..”

Bannon
gaf tevens aan dat hij vooral contact heeft met Nigel Farage en zijn
Brexit Party. Hij raadt psychopaat Boris Johnson dan ook aan om voor
een harde Brexit te gaan, daarmee aangevend dat men zich in de VS wel degelijk bemoeit met zaken in andere landen, naast bewezen beïnvloeding van verkiezingen, dus ook de Brexit…..
Bannon ziet wel een band tussen Johnson en fascist Farage en daar, beste lezer, kan ik hem geen ongelijk in geven……

Bannon sprak zich eerder positief uit over Johnson en ja, die zou je aan kunnen wijzen als de nieuwe broodheer van de BBC……

On
31 July, BBC
Radio 4 broadcast
an interview with Steve
Bannon.
It prompted fierce criticism as a new low. Because the BBC gave
airtime to a known white
supremacist and racist.

Populism
and nationalism

Although
Bannon was introduced as
a “divisive polarising figure” the BBC failed
to give any context. It didn’t mention, for example, that Bannon’s
previously told people
to ‘wear racism’ like “a badge of honour”. Bannon said:

“Brexit
and the Trump election are inextricably linked. … It was inevitable
that someone like Boris [Johnson] would… become prime minister… I
have said from the beginning a no-deal, hard out is the way to go”.

He continued:

“But
is the civil service… the bureaucracy in London, prepared to do
that? I don’t think so… My belief is that you ain’t seen
nothing yet… True leadership’s gonna come to the forefront”.

When
asked if he was still in touch with Johnson, Bannon replied,
“I stay in touch with Nigel [Farage] quite a bit”. But he made
his total support for Johnson clear. And he went on to support what
he thinks is a “quite natural alliance” between Johnson and
Farage’s populist, right-wing Brexit
Party.

So
there you have it, Bannon clearly stating that he’s not only trying
to influence Brexit but that he is doing this via Farage.
Let’s not forget that Farage was behind the now infamous ‘breaking
point’
posters. These were reported to
the police as a “blatant attempt to incite racial hatred”.

And
new evidence about
the referendum also links Johnson, Farage with Bannon and other
far-right figures.

Interviewer
Jon Sopel then let Bannon speak, with few interruptions, about Donald
Trump’sracist actions
and inherently cruel anti-immigration
policies. Bannon spoke proudly
of Trump as “a populist and a nationalist, not simply a
Republican”.

“An
avowed white supremacist, anti semite racist”

Labour’s
David Lammy led the criticism and called Bannon out for what he truly

interviewed Bannon near a privately funded wall on
the US/Mexico border – Bannon’s supported the project from the
outset. In May, armed
vigilantes from
a known hate
groupchased
and captured people coming across the border as building started.
This same group was implicated in
assassination plots.

When
questioned about Trump’s hideous policy of separating children from
their families at the border, Bannon claimed the
answer was to build more walls. When asked directly about Trump’s
inherently “racist’ actions, Bannon replied:

“That’s
the mainstream media just… blowing it up… it’s actually
anti-racist. What… Trump is trying to do is protect African
American and Hispanic workers and people in these cities. That’s
not racist”.

And
when asked about Trump’s viciously racist attacks on
four US congresswomen of colour, including Ilhan
Omar,
Bannon stated:

“He
was making a point… It’s not racist… I actually think she
[Omar] helps us because she’s so anti-American”.

To
be fair, Sopel did challenge Bannon on the hideous
chants against
Omar at a Trump rally. But Bannon used racist propaganda to dodge the
question. “It’s not racist,” Bannon claimed, to chant “send
her back”.

“Normalising
this evil”

This
isn’t the first time the BBC has
given racists a platform. But it marks a new low. Because, as Lammy
also noted, there’s huge danger in “normalising… this evil for
broadcast ratings”:

world. And far from calling that out. The BBC, it
seems, has no issue having a cosy chat with a man whose life’s work

Stoltenberg waarschuwt de wereld voor meer Russische kernraketten

Op BBC World Service rond 14.17 u. vanmiddag het bericht dat de zetbaas van de VS voor de NAVO, plork en leugenaar Stoltenberg, de wereld heeft gewaarschuwd voor meer Russische kernraketten…..

Alsof het wat uitmaakt of je nu als de VS naar schatting van SIPRI 6.185 kernkoppen hebt, of de 6.500 die Rusland volgens het SIPRI waarschijnlijk heeft….. Ik bedoel, hoe vaak kan je de wereld vernietigen…… Eén ding is zeker, de huidige president van de VS, het 666 beest Trump, heeft zich in het openbaar afgevraagd waarom je kernraketten zou hebben als je ze niet gebruikt…… Ter verduidelijking: Trump is n.a.v. deze uitspraak bepaald niet van zins kernraketten niet in te zetten, integendeel hij wil ze wel degelijk gebruiken, bijvoorbeeld als hij na het zien van één of ander propaganda documentaire of film (waar hij fictie niet van de werkelijkheid kan onderscheiden) weer eens fiks pissig is op wie dan ook……..

Vergeet niet dat de VS tot nu toe de enige natie is die het atoomwapen twee keer volledig onnodig heeft ingezet in Hiroshima en Nagasaki…..

Oorlogshitser Stoltenberg liet weten dat het niet de bedoeling is een wapenwedloop aan te gaan met Rusland…… Nee, dat moest er nog bijkomen!!

De BBC verslaggever die e.e.a. uitlegde, stelde dat Rusland volgens de VS bezig zou zijn om het INF-verdrag te schenden….. Tot zover geen vreemde uitspraak, immers deze verslaggever Jonathan Marcus, volgens de BBC een ‘defensie analist’, gebruikte het woord ‘zou’, echter even later durfde dezelfde Marcus te zeggen dat de bewijzen voor het schenden van het INF-verdrag door Rusland ‘overtuigend’ zijn….. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Wat een fantast, immers er is alleen de bewering van het Pentagon en de Trump administratie dat Rusland het INF-verdrag heeft geschonden…….

Dan het volgende: de VS heeft een raketschild gebouwd in Polen en Roemenië, zogenaamd tegen inkomende raketten uit Iran, waar deze raketten in een mum van tijd kunnen worden voorzien van meerdere kernkoppen…… Je snapt het al, dit schild is bedoeld als aanvalswapen tegen Rusland, waar de raketten precies binnen het INF-verdrag vallen, ofwel de VS heeft in feite zelf het INF-verdrag geschonden……. ‘Uiteraard’ werd dit niet genoemd door Marcus……

Verder hield Marcus de vuilbek over de ongeveer al 10 uitnodigingen van Rusland aan de VS en andere NAVO-lidstaten heeft doen toekomen om de raketten die de VS bedoelt te bekijken en zelf te constateren dat deze niet onder het INF verdrag vallen……. Nee, Marcus weet zeker dat Rusland de schuldige is, immers dat heeft de VS gezegd en dat is een land ‘dat nog nooit is betrapt op liegen in zaken van oorlog en vrede…..’ (niet dus, dat heeft de VS al tientallen keren gedaan, zelfs om illegaal oorlog te kunnen voeren, deze eeuw al 4 keer, waarbij dit land verantwoordelijk is voor meer dan 2,5 miljoen vermoorde burgers uit vooral moslimlanden, waar dit land met haar onderhorige andere NAVO-lidstaten bijvoorbeeld de stabiliteit in het Midden-Oosten ernstig hebben verstoord, enorme vluchtelingenstromen op gang hebben gebracht en terreur op de Europese straten hebben gecreëerd…..

De BBC is verworden tot een propagandaorgaan voor het Vierde Rijk, de VS, de grootste terreurentiteit op aarde……. En dat is nog maar één van de kwalijke kwalificaties voor deze zeer afhankelijke zendgemachtigde……

CNN met nog smeriger lastercampagne tegen Julian Assange

Zelfs voor CNN is de nieuwe lastercampagne die deze zendgemachtigde tegen Assange voert van een niveau dat al in jaren niet meer werd gezien, behalve dan bij de desinformatie vorig jaar over het ‘Assange-Manafort rapport’ in The Guardian. De haatzaaicampagne van CNN berust niet op documenten zoals men beweert, er is voor geen van de beschuldigingen ook maar een schijntje van bewijs……..

Zo stelt men dat Assange de Ecuadoraanse ambassade in een commandopost had omgetoverd om de verkiezingen in de VS te manipuleren….. Verder meldt CNN dat Assange kamers van de ambassade onder de poep zou hebben gesmeerd, weer geen greintje van bewijs, terwijl de ambassade maar wat blij zou zijn geweest, ware het echt gebeurd, immers men zat al sinds het aantreden van de nieuwe (fascistische Ecuadoraanse president) met Assange in de maag en had hem dus makkelijk kunnen laten verwijderen als inderdaad zou blijken dat hij een gevaar voor anderen en zichzelf zou zijn (dan zou hij zijn opgenomen in een psychiatrische kliniek….) Nee, ook dit door CNN gebrachte ‘feit’, wordt niet onderschreven door de Ecuadoraanse ambassade, noch de regering van dat land…….

Messcherp legt de schrijver van het hieronder opgenomen artikel de vinger op de etterende wond, waar ze bijvoorbeeld stelt dat door het gebruik van het woord ‘potentially’ (mogelijk) de kijkers en luisteraars op het verkeerde been worden gezet, immers men koppelt er zogenaamde ‘feiten’ aan vast in de vorm van ‘documenten’ (die men niet heeft bij CNN, immers ze bestaan niet..)……

Mensen lees het artikel van Johnstone, een gedegen stuk tekst en zegt het voort, daar we ook hier op dergelijke manieren worden besodemieterd, zo hoorde ik gistermorgen de bijna slechtste presentator van Radio1 (die bovendien volkomen ten onrechte denkt leuk te zijn), Jurgen van den Berg zeggen dat de vraag over de eigenaar van het goud uit een museum op De Krim, diezelfde dag in een rechtszaak in Nederland zou dienen (in hoger beroep, wat van den Berg er niet bij vertelde), een zaak aangespannen door de directie van het museum op de Krim en autoriteiten van de regio daar.* Volgens van den Berg is dit goud tijdens de inname door Rusland van De Krim naar Nederland gegaan voor een tentoonstelling……

Dit zijn 2 dikke leugens, ten eerste hadden de autoriteiten na het referendum waar meer dan 80% van de bevolking stemde vóór aansluiting bij Rusland, nooit toestemming gegeven het goud te verzenden. Het goud was ten tijde van het referendum al een paar maanden in Nederland… De autoriteiten en de museumleiding hadden echt wel geanticipeerd op een eventuele (schandelijke) inbeslagname ware men van plan geweest die collectie af te sturen naar Nederland, juist daar er in Oekraïne een neonazi-junta zat o.l.v. de zwaar corrupte misdadiger en neonazi Porosjenko, een junta door de VS geparachuteerd, deze junta werd ook onvoorwaardelijk door de Nederlandse flutregering Rutte 2 gesteund…….

Ten tweede: iedereen kan weten dat De Krim niet is ingenomen door Rusland, maar dat de bevolking zich in een door internationale waarnemers als goed en eerlijk beoordeeld referendum, massaal (meer dan 80%) uitsprak vóór aansluiting bij Rusland (en dat vóór aansluiting stemmen werd met eenzelfde percentage gedaan door de oorspronkelijke bewoners van De Krim….)

New CNN Assange Smear Piece Is Amazingly Dishonest, Even For CNN

CNN has published an unbelievably brazen and dishonest smear piece on Julian Assange, easily the most egregious article of its kind since the notoriously bogus Assange-Manafort report by The Guardian last year. It contains none of the “exclusive” documents which it claims substantiate its smears, relying solely on vague unsubstantiated assertions and easily debunked lies to paint the WikiLeaks founder in a negative light.

And
let’s be clear right off the bat, it is most certainly a smear
piece. The
article,
titled “Exclusive: Security reports reveal how Assange turned an
embassy into a command post for election meddling”, admits that it
exists for the sole purpose of tarnishing Assange’s reputation
when it
reports,
with no evidence whatsoever, that while at the Ecuadorian embassy
Assange once “smeared feces on the walls out of anger.” Not
“reportedly”. Not “the Ecuadorian government claims.” CNN
reported it as a fact, as an event that is known to have happened.
This is journalistic malpractice, and it isn’t an accident.

Whenever
you you see any “news” report citing this claim, you are
witnessing a standard
smear tactic of
the plutocratic media. Whenever you see them citing this claim as a
concrete, verified fact, you are witnessing an especially aggressive
and deliberate psyop.

The
Ecuadorian embassy was easily the most-surveilled
building in the world during
Assange’s stay there, and the Ecuadorian government has
leaked photos of Assange’s living quarters to
the media in an attempt to paint him as a messy houseguest in need of
eviction, so if the “feces on the walls” event had ever
transpired you would have seen photos of it, whether you wanted to or
not. It never happened.

New documents obtained exclusively by CNN reveal that WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange received in-person deliveries, potentially of hacked materials related to the 2016 US election, during a series…

“New
documents obtained exclusively by CNN reveal that WikiLeaks founder
Julian Assange received in-person deliveries, potentially of hacked
materials related to the 2016 US election, during a series of
suspicious meetings at the Ecuadorian Embassy in London,” the
article begins.

In
its very first sentence the article invalidates all the claims which
follow it, because its use of the word “potentially” means that
none of the documents CNN purports to have contain any actual
evidence. It’s worth noting at this time that there is to this day
not one shred of publicly available evidence that any of the
Democratic Party emails published by WikiLeaks in 2016 were in fact
“hacked” at all, and could very well have been the result of a
leak as
asserted by former British ambassador Craig Murray,
who claims to have inside knowledge on the matter.

The
glaring plot holes in the Mueller report’s assertions about Russia
being the source of the 2016 WikiLeaks drops have already been ripped
wide open by journalist Aaron Maté’s meticulous analysis of
the report’s timeline in an article accurately titled

“CrowdStrikeOut:
Mueller’s Own Report Undercuts Its Core Russia-Meddling Claims“.
The CNN smear piece, which claims
to “add
a new dimension to the Mueller report”, is entirely relying on this
porous timeline for its reporting. Plot holes include the fact that
Mueller claims (and CNN repeats) that the Russians transferred the
emails to WikiLeaks on or around July 14, which Maté notes is “a
full month after Assange publicly announced that he had them.”

CNN
kicks off its smear piece with the inflammatory
claim that
“Assange met with Russians and world-class hackers at critical
moments”, mentioning both “Russians” and “hackers” in the
same breath in an attempt to give the impression that the two are
related. It’s not until paragraph 43 and 46,
long after most people have stopped reading, that the articles
authors bother to inform their readers that the “hackers” in
question are German and have no
established connection to
the Russian government whatsoever. The “Russians” counted among
Assange’s scores of visitors consist of RT staff, who have always
consistently reported on WikiLeaks, and a “Russian national”
about whom almost
nothing is known.

The
article falsely
labels Assange a “hacker”,
a defamatory
claim the
mass media circulates whenever it wants to tarnish Assange’s
reputation. Assange, of course, is a publisher. WikiLeaks publishes
materials which are given to it, it doesn’t “hack” them.

CNN
also repeats the long-debunked
lie that
RT “published articles detailing the new batches of emails before
WikiLeaks officially released them” during the 2016 election,
citing no evidence because this never happened. RT reported
on a WikiLeaks release in
October 2016 after it had been published by WikiLeaks but before the
WikiLeaks Twitter account had tweeted about it, and western
propagandists willfully conflated WikiLeaks publications with tweets
from the WikiLeaks Twitter account in order to make it look like RT
had insider knowledge about the publications.

In
reality, RT was simply watching the WikiLeaks site closely for new
releases in order to get an early scoop before other outlets, because
Podesta email leaks had been dropping regularly.

“That
is a LIE that’s been debunked over and over,” tweeted RT
America editor Nebojša Malić‏ in response to the smear. “We
published ONE article about the emails that were RELEASED already,
just not TWEETED about yet, because WikiLeaks had been releasing them
like clockwork and we paid attention. It’s called journalism, they
should try it sometime.”

“Yes
that is fake news,” tweeted RT’s
Ivor Crotty. “I was the editor on the team that monitored wikileaks
and by Podesta 6 we knew they tweeted at 9am EST each day (1pm
Dublin) – so we checked the database by reverse searching and
discovered a new dump, tweeted about it, and the conspiracy theorists
jumped.”

“RT
already addressed this in 2016, convincingly if you read the sequence
of events they lay out: the Podesta emails appeared on the WikiLeaks
website before WikiLeaks sent a tweet about it,” Maté tweeted
at CNN’s Marshall Cohen.
“Ignoring that allows for the conspiracy theory you propose. It’s
ridiculous to suggest that RT-Wikileaks ‘were coordinating behind
the scenes’ based on the fact that RT tweeted about the Podesta
emails AFTER they appeared on WL’s site, but BEFORE WL tweeted
about them. You’re implicating RT in a conspiracy… for doing
journalism.”

It’s
not possible to research the “RT had advance knowledge of WikiLeaks
drops” conspiracy theory without running across articles which
debunked it at the time, so the article’s authors were likely
either knowingly lying or taking dictation from someone who was.

“Spanish
newspaper El Pais on July 9: ‘Spanish
security company spied on Julian Assange’s meetings with lawyers‘.
Add little security state propaganda and 6 days later you get from
CNN: ‘How Julian Assange turned an embassy into command post for
election meddling’,” noted Shadowproofmanaging
editor Kevin Gosztola in response to the CNN smear, a reminder of how
a little narrative tweaking can turn a story on its head in support
of the powerful.

This
would be the same CNN who told its viewers that it’s against the
law to read WikiLeaks, with Democratic Party prince Chris
Cuomo lying “Remember,
it’s illegal to possess these stolen documents; it’s different
for the media, so everything you learn about this you’re learning
from us.” The same CNN which falsely reported that Assange is a
pedophile not once,
but twice.
The same CNN which has been
caught blatantly lying in
its Russiagate coverage, which has had
to fire journalists for
misreporting Russiagate in a media environment where that almost
never happens with Russia stories, which has deleted

So
this latest attempt to tarnish Julian Assange’s reputation from CNN
is not surprising. Nor is it surprising that the article contains
exactly zero of the “exclusive documents” which it says validate
its claims and insinuations. Nor is it surprising that CNN is using
invisible evidence which almost
certainly came
into its hands through a government agency to give weight to its
smear. But the sheer volume of disinformation and deceit they were
able to pack into one single article this time around was just
jaw-dropping. Even for CNN.

Ongelofelijk
maar wel geheel en al waar: de Britse regering die door de VN wordt
beschuldigd van het martelen van journalist Julian Assange, heeft RT
en Sputnik niet uitgenodigd voor een internationale conferentie over
persvrijheid >> de ‘Global Conference on Media Freedom………’

Volgens
de Britse regering is dit vanwege de voorliefde van deze 2
mediaorganen voor het verspreiden van desinformatie…… Uiteraard
worden er geen voorbeelden gegeven, terwijl de wel uitgenodigde
reguliere mediaorganen al jaren bol staan van nepnieuws (fake news), leugens en
andere desinformatie, neem alleen al de verslaggeving over de
illegale VS oorlogen tegen Afghanistan, Irak, Libië en Syrië…….

Trouwens
het feit dat een regering een conferentie belegt over persvrijheid is
wat mij betreft een gotspe. Dezelfde regering die de BBC subsidieert en daarvoor wordt beloond door de BBC met inhumane neoliberale propaganda voor de zittende regering, waar men alle leugens van overheid en geheime diensten overneemt als was het ‘de weg de waarheid en het leven…’ Uiteraard zal de BBC een prominente rol spelen in de conferentie, waar deze afhankelijke zendgemachtigde bewezen hele bergen fake news en desinformatie heeft gebracht…..

Gisteravond werd in het BBC programma Panorama Labour afgeschilderd als een antisemitisme partij….. Terwijl de paar klagende Joodse Labourleden vooral zijn gevallen over de kritiek van Labour op het uiterst bloedige, fascistische apartheidsbeleid van Israël, waar deze Labour leden deze kritiek eerder afschilderden als antisemitisme en daarop terecht werden aangesproken door de top van Labour……. 

Ook in series en andere documentaires brengt de BBC onvervalste propaganda voor de illegale oorlogen van de VS en voor het smerige moorddadige Israëlische beleid tegen het verdrukte Palestijnse volk, zaken die politiek* worden gesteund door de Britse regering….. Werkelijk de grofste leugens worden als waarheid gebracht in deze walgelijke propaganda……. 

De hele antisemitische Labour leugen is ingegeven om de huidige leider van Labour, Jeremy Corbyn onderuit te halen als een socialistische politicus en socialisme is in GB een heel vies woord….. Veronderstel dat een ‘socialistische regering’ eens wat gaat doen voor de enorme grote arme onderlaag in GB, waar dagelijks meer dan 4 miljoen kinderen met honger naar school moeten……

De BBC had het gore lef te stellen dat het nieuws brengt vanuit alle hoeken bezien en aarzelt niet om kritiek te leveren op de Britse regering……. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Ja, zo af en toe geeft de BBC wat kritiek op de regering, echter dat is vooral om aan te tonen dat men ‘onafhankelijk is….’ Het gros van de artikelen zijn zonder meer steun voor eerder genoemd smerig beleid….. 

Het gaat bij het weren van media als RT dan ook niet over het brengen van nepnieuws, nee deze mediaorganen en alternatieve mediaorganen worden juist geweigerd daar ze de waarheid brengen en dat is natuurlijk niet de bedoeling als je als land en mediaorgaan de burgers dag in dag uit besodemietert…….

The
British Foreign Office has
banned Russian outlets RT and Sputnik from
attending the upcoming Global
Conference on Media Freedom in
London, citing their predilection for “disinformation”.

“We
have not accredited RT or Sputnik because of their active role in
spreading disinformation,” said a Foreign Office spokeswoman.

“It
takes a particular brand of hypocrisy to advocate for freedom of
press while banning inconvenient voices and slandering alternative
media; sadly, the world has learned to expect just that from the UK
Foreign Office,” RT
said in a statement in
response.

“It
amounts to direct politically motivated discrimination of the Russian
channel,” said
the Russian embassy in
London. “The refusal of accreditation comes on top of the
months-long smear campaign against RT by British political figures,
governmental bodies, including media regulator Ofcom, and even fellow
journalists.”

“Now a leading
Russian international TV channel is denied access to the forum,
despite being officially registered and working in the UK, on legal
grounds,” the embassy added. “What better illustration of
the real situation with media freedom in the UK does one need? Yet
the organizers of the Conference, as far as we understand, wish to
discuss the situation with media freedom anywhere in the world, but
not in this country.”

Russia’s RT banned from UK media freedom conference

The UK Foreign Office bans two Russian news agencies, accusing them of spreading misinformation.

The BBC’s
report on this story hilariously
contains a brazenly propagandistic video titled “What’s 

so
different about Russia Today?” which carefully explains why it’s
very important for the BBC’s audience to understand that RT is
propaganda.

“They
want to be an alternative view, which in fact is the propaganda
machine of, and is paid for by, the Kremlin,” says the video by
the BBC, a government-funded news station with an established
history of
collaboration with British intelligence to deplatform dissenting
voices.

“The BBC tries to
cover all the angles of the story, including those that wouldn’t be
pleasant to the UK government,” the BBC video claims. “RT
always picks up pundits, questions, issues, angles that show the
Kremlin and the Russian government in a positive way.”

In
reality, the BBC is very much guilty of enforcing what British
journalist Jonathan Cook recently
described as
the “narrow manufactured consensus of supposedly rational policy
– neoliberal orthodoxy at home, and neoconservative warmongering
abroad.” Like all other mainstream British media, the BBC works
to shrink the Overton window of acceptable debate and propagandize
British citizens into arguing over how existing
power structures should be aided and maintained instead
of whether those
power structures should exist at all. For the BBC to pretend that it
is in any way superior to RT on any level is laughable.

But the BBC will
certainly be in attendance at the Global Conference on Media Freedom,
welcomed with open arms by the British government it only
half-pretends to have an oppositional relationship with.’

This
would be the same British government that is currently holding
journalist Julian Assange behind bars pending a US extradition
hearing for exposing American war crimes. The same British government
who UN Special Rapporteur on Torture Nils Melzer found
guilty of participating in
the psychological torture of that same journalist. The same
Foreign Office whose head, Jeremy Hunt, told Face
the Nation last
month that
he will allow Assange to be extradited to the US if he succeeds in
his bid to become the next Prime Minister,
after explicitly and repeatedly condemning
the persecution of dissident journalists in other nations.

You
won’t see any of this ridiculous, jaw-dropping hypocrisy called out
by the BBC, nor by any other mainstream outlet in the uniquely
spineless and sycophantic British media. Do you know where you will
see this hypocrisy being criticized? RT.

The only reason RT and
Sputnik exist with any degree of popularity in the west is because,
contrary to what the BBC claims, people are unable to hear any voices
that are critical of real power from western mainstream media. If the
BBC or any other British outlet were to begin platforming actual
anti-war, leftist and anti-establishment voices with any degree of
regularity, I can guarantee you with 100 percent certainty that RT
and Sputnik would immediately lose their UK audiences.

But that never happens,
because British mass media does not “cover all the angles of the
story, including those that wouldn’t be pleasant to the UK
government” as the BBC claims, it publishes propaganda which
directly benefits the underlying power structures of the UK
government. Their job isn’t to tell the truth and hold power to
account, their job is to normalize the status quo, manufacture
consent for endless war, and tell you day in and day out that Jeremy
Corbyn is a cross between Adolf Hitler and a werewolf.

government is not worried about RT spreading “disinformation”.
The government is worried about RT spreading the truth.

Jeremy Hunt longs for the
days when a country could peacefully propagandize its citizens
without this pesky problem of propaganda from other countries seeping
into the mix and forcing everyone to think for themselves. We have
been experiencing a brief but wonderful period where the internet has
opened up rivers of information from all sorts of perspectives, but
we will need to fight to keep those rivers flowing. Invisible
censorship has already begun in earnest, and it’s at these
conferences where they dream up even more insidious ways to throttle
dissident voices.

Be vigilant. Fight them.
