Vandaag 25 jaar geleden op 7 april 1994 begon de genocide in Rwanda, die voortduurde tot juli 1994. Een vreselijke genocide die naar schatting 800.000 mensen het leven heeft gekost, hoewel deskundigen stellen dat er minstens 1 miljoen Tutsi’s en gematigde Hutu’s op een afschuwelijke manier werden vermoord (ja, zelfs daar zijn gradaties in te maken….)……. Ook extreme Tutsi’s hebben Hutu’s vermoord, al waren de Hutu’s de grootste moordenaars……
De wereld keek toe en ondernam veel te laat actie…… De wereld en dan m.n. het hypocriete westen stelde dat iets dergelijks nooit meer zou plaatsvinden en men bij tijds zou ingrijpen…. Het ‘hypocriete westen?’ De Europese landen hebben grote delen van Afrika gekoloniseerd en hebben daarbij de ‘verdeel en heers doctrine’ ingesteld, daarbij bepaalde stammen bevoordelend t.o.v. andere, waarbij men de eersten niet zelden gebruikte om de tweede groep aan te vallen en uit te moorden…….
Voorts hebben de Europese staten die delen van Afrika als kolonisator leegzogen, met een liniaal de grenzen van Afrikaanse landen getrokken, waarbij stamverbanden uit elkaar werden gerukt en vijandige stammen werden samengevoegd in één (koloniale) staat, een situatie waar we vandaag de dag nog de wrange vruchten van plukken en zoals de Tutsi’s en gematigde Hutu’s in 1994 nog mochten ervaren tijdens die vreselijke genocide……..
Sinds 2015 is er een genocide gaande in Jemen, die naar schatting al aan 500.000 mensen het leven heeft gekost en waaraan dagelijks honderden doden worden toegevoegd……. Ondanks dat deze genocide dit jaar het vierde jaar ingaat, kijkt de wereld weer toe zonder actie te ondernemen…..
De Saoedische terreurcoalitie die verantwoordelijk is voor de genocide in Jemen, wordt gesteund door het westen, dat na Rwanda beloofde nooit meer te zullen toekijken als er een genocide gaande is….. Zo trainen de Britten en de VS Saoedische militairen en leveren deze terreurcoalitie wapens en munitie….. Voor dat laatste, wapens en munitie, zijn ook andere Europese landen verantwoordelijk, daar blijft het niet bij: ook rollend, varend en vliegend oorlogstuig wordt geleverd aan de reli-fascistische dictatuur en aan één van haar coalitiegenoten, de Verenigde Arabische Emiraten (VAE), al even reli-fascistische staatjes……
De VS speelt nog eens een extra rol in deze genocide, door:
9.000 keer straaljagers en bommenwerpers van de terreurcoalitie al vliegend van gratis brandstof te hebben voorzien (daar is de VS eind 2018 mee gestopt)
de bombardementen te coördineren met radarvliegtuigen
mee te helpen aan de zeeblokkade van door de Houthi rebellen beheerst gebied (waar de genocide plaatsvindt…)
af en aan militaire agressie op de grond (inclusief bombardementen vanaf marineschepen met raketten, enz.), zogenaamd tegen IS en Al Qaida waar het in werkelijkheid vecht tegen de Houthi rebellen……
Het meest lullige na dit alles is wel het feit dat het westen Iran beschuldigd van militaire hulp aan de Houthi’s. terwijl daar niets van is bewezen of kan worden bewezen, daar het klinkklare nonsens is……
Helaas beste bezoeker, moet ik concluderen dat het hypocriete westen dat nu in feite de genocide in Rwanda met krokodillentranen herdenkt, tegelijkertijd een andere genocide steunt en faciliteert……. (en nogmaals: ondanks de belofte die men na de genocide in Rwanda deed >> nooit weer zou men passief toekijken bij een genocide…..)

Whitney Webb schreef een uitgebreid
artikel over de terreuraanslag in Christchurch, Nieuw-Zeeland. Webb
gaat in op de 74 pagina’s tellende motivatie en ideologie van dader
Tarrant en stelt daarbij dat de westerse politiek, zeker na de komst
van Trump als VS president, taal gebruikt tegen moslims waarmee zij
worden gedemoniseerd……… Terwijl in werkelijkheid regeringen als
die van Trump de ene massamoord na de andere begaan op moslims, zo vermoordde de VS in een aantal illegale oorlogen alleen deze eeuw al meer dan 2,5 miljoen, voornamelijk moslims…… Dan is er nog de samenwerking van de Trump
administratie, de westerse media en het militair-industrieel complex,
tegen moslimlanden die niet braaf doen wat de imperialistische VS van
hen eist….
De westerse reguliere media steunen tegen beter weten in de illegale oorlogen van
de VS en verkopen deze als onvermijdbaar aan
de de westerse bevolkingen, zoals de VS dat in eigen land doet….. Vreemd genoeg geldt die in feite
mobilisatie van westerse bevolkingen tegen moslimstaten niet, als het
gaat om terreurstaten als Saoedi-Arabië en de Verenigde Arabische
Emiraten (VAE), terwijl daar dezelfde zaken ‘mis zijn’ die worden genoemd door die
media en de Trump administratie als het gaat om VS onwelgevallige regeringen, dus dictaturen die
terreurgroepen steunen en het volk onderdrukken, sterker nog: de landen die de VS niet welgevallig zijn worden gedemoniseerd als dergelijke regimes, terwijl daar in de praktijk vaak helemaal geen sprake van is…..
Zie wat betreft het voorgaande Syrië, waarover dit niet eens gezegd kon worden, echter tot op de dag
van vandaag houden de westerse massamedia en het grootste deel van de
westerse politici die leugens hoog…. (vergeet niet dat onder Assad alle geloven hand in hand naast elkaar leefden en het volk gemiddeld een redelijk inkomen had….) Door de acties van de VS, die de opstand op poten zette en regisseerde, waarna deze grootste terreurentiteit op aarde een oorlog ontketende tegen het regime Assad, ligt het land voor een groot deel in puin…… Gelukkig leven de teruggekeerde vluchtelingen, in de door het reguliere Syrische leger bevrijdde gebieden, nu weer hand in hand met buren die een ander geloof aanhangen…….
De reli-fascistische dictatuur Saoedi-Arabië, dat een bloedig beleid voert tegen Saoedische sjiieten en in buurland Jemen een genocide uitvoert op de sjiitische bevolking, wordt nog steeds
gesteund door het westen (Nederland levert zelfs nog steeds
wapenonderdelen aan die reli-fascistische dictatuur)….. Nogmaals: terwijl dat
land een genocide uitvoert in buurland Jemen……
Ook de taal die bij e.e.a. wordt
uitgeslagen heeft ervoor gezorgd dat de westerse bevolkingen achter
de illegale oorlogen van de VS en de NAVO-lidstaten tegen
moslimlanden staan. Moslims worden aangewezen als de terroristen van
de wereld, terwijl er amper of geen aandacht is voor de waanzin van
westerse landen die illegale oorlogen tegen moslimlanden voeren,
waarbij onnoemelijk veel meer moslims werden en worden vermoord, dan die door alle
‘moslimaanslagen’ in het westen bij elkaar opgeteld, sterker nog, dat aantal moorden kan daarbij zelfs niet in de schaduw staan…..* Niet vreemd dus dat die grootschalige westerse terreur, aanslagen uitlokken op de Europese straten……
Voorts wijst Webb op de andere
fascistische aanslagen op moslims en hun gebedshuizen (of andere instellingen van moslims, Ap), immers de aanslag van afgelopen maandag op de 2
moskeeën in Christchurch waren bepaald niet de eerste. (ook in Nederland werden er aanslagen op moskeeën gepleegd, al waren die niet in gebruik ten tijde van de aanslagen)
De motivatie van fascisten die aanslagen plegen zoals die in Christchurch, is
gericht tegen vluchtelingen uit moslimlanden, zonder aandacht te
schenken aan het feit waarom zij zijn gevlucht: grootschalige
westerse terreur o.l.v. de VS, waarbij zoals eerder opgemerkt alleen deze eeuw al meer dan 2,5 miljoen
moslims zijn vermoord…….

The
Christchurch Shooting and the Normalization of Anti-Muslim Terrorism
(MPN) — What
is without question the worst mass shooting in New Zealand’s
history took place on Friday when shooters, 28-year-old Australian
Brenton Tarrant among them, opened fire at two Christchurch mosques.
Four, including Tarrant, have been arrested for the heinous act,
which claimed at least 49 innocent lives. Tarrant was responsible for
killing more than 40 victims, among them several children, in a
rampage he live-streamed on Facebook, sending chills throughout the
Muslim community, particularly Muslims living in Western countries.
Tarrant’s
motives and ideology, laid bare in a 74-page
manifesto,
show a concern over the fertility rates of non-white groups as well
as the immigration of non-whites to countries like New Zealand and
Australia, which he likened to an “invasion” that threatened the
white majority in those countries. However, Tarrant — in his
ignorance — failed to grasp that many of the Muslim immigrants he
targeted had come to New Zealand after fleeing Western-backed
invasions, occupations, or persecution in their home countries.
Notable
among Tarrant’s views is the fact that he is a clear
ethno-nationalist, promoting his view that different ethnic groups
must be kept “separate, unique, undiluted in [sic] unrestrained in
cultural or ethnic expression and autonomy.” Tarrant also claimed
that he doesn’t necessarily hate Muslims and only targeted those
Muslims {i.e., immigrants) that chose “to invade our lands, live on
our soil and replace our people.”
He
also stated that he chose to target Muslims because “Islamic
nations, in particular, have high birth rates, regardless of race or
ethnicity” and to satiate “a want for revenge against Islam for
the 1,300 years of war and devastation that it has brought upon the
people of the West and other peoples of the world.” His views are
remarkably similar to those of Norwegian terrorist Anders Breivik,
which is unsurprising given that Tarrant named him as an inspiration
for the shooting.
Though
many — in the hours after the shooting — have sought to place
blame and point fingers at notable demagogues like President
Donald Trump or “counter-jihad”
alt-right figures like
Laura Loomer and Jacob Wohl, it is important to place Tarrant’s
motivations in context.

Indeed,
while Trump’s rise to political power has brought Islamophobic
rhetoric into the public sphere in an undeniable way, it is a symptom
of a much broader effort aimed at propagandizing the people of the
United States and other Western countries to support wars in and
military occupations of Muslim-majority countries. This manufactured
Islamophobia, largely a product of Western governments and a
compliant mass media, has sought to vilify all Muslims by maligning
the religion itself as terrorism, in order to justify the plunder of
their countries and deflect attention from their suffering.
It
is a classic “divide and conquer” scam aimed at keeping
Westerners divided from Muslims in their own countries and abroad.
The horrific shooting in Christchurch is a testament to its
unfortunate success and pervasiveness, as well as a potent reminder
that it must be stopped.
Indeed,
this manufactured Islamophobia has made it so that Muslims in their
home countries are in danger of dying from Western-backed wars and,
if they flee to the “safer” West, they have targets on their
backs painted by the very war propaganda used to justify Western
military adventurism in Muslim-majority nations.
Islam,
the media and “Forever Wars”: Who’s the “real” terrorist?
Since
September 11th and the advent of the “War on Terror,” mass media
reporting increasingly began to conflate Muslims and Muslim-majority
nations with war, terrorism and violence in general. Indeed, 9
out of 10 mainstream
news reports on Muslims, Islam, and Islamic organizations are related
to violence and Muslims who are named on mainstream media are
all-too-frequently warlords or terrorist leaders.
This
near-constant association of Islam and violence has created the false
perception that the religion of Islam, by its very nature, is violent
and that Muslims too must then be violent and thus dangerous. This
media-driven association has had very real and troubling
consequences. For instance, a
2010 study by
the University of Exeter found “empirical evidence to demonstrate
that assailants of Muslims are invariably motivated by a negative
view of Muslims they have acquired from either mainstream or
extremist nationalist reports or commentaries in the media.” In
other words, Islamophobic media reports are directly related to hate
crimes targeting Muslims.
This
is no accident, as such biased reporting on Muslim-majority nations
also began as Western-backed wars in countries like Iraq and
Afghanistan sought to put these countries’ natural resources,
namely their oil and mineral wealth, into the hands of American
corporations. It should be no surprise then that top funders of media
outlets that have routinely promoted Islamophobic narratives are also
those who have
profited considerably
from the “War on Terror” and Western-backed regime-change wars in
other countries.
This
concerted effort to vilify Muslims has had the potent effect, likely
by design, of reducing empathy among Westerners for the largely
Muslim victims of Western military adventurism in Muslim-majority
countries. Indeed, while mainstream news outlets often trumpet the
imminent dangers Americans face from “radical Islamic terror,”
the death toll of innocent people — most of them Muslim — that
have been killed by the U.S.-led “War on Terror” is several
orders of magnitude greater than the number of Americans who have
died from all terror attacks over that same period.

For
instance, from 2001 to 2013, an estimated 3,380
Americans died from
domestic and foreign terrorism, including the September 11 attacks as
well as acts of domestic terrorism carried out by white nationalists
and supremacists. If one excludes the September 11 death toll, the
number of American deaths over that same period stands at around
400, most of
them victims of mass-killers who were not Muslim.
By
comparison, an estimated 8
million innocent people in
Muslim-majority nations died as a result of U.S. policies and wars in
the Middle East and North Africa from 2001 to 2015. Yet, the
magnitude of this loss of life of these “unworthy victims” is
minimized by media and government silence, and the creation of a
climate of Islamophobia in the West has only served to deepen the
ease with which mass murder is accepted by the aggressor countries’
populations.
Beyond
the staggering disparity in the death tolls caused by terror groups
and Western-backed imperialist wars is the fact that many of these
very Western governments that purport to be so concerned with
“radical Islamic terror” have often created and funded the most
notorious terror groups of all. Indeed, the U.S. government helped to
create Al Qaeda and continues
to protect its
Syrian branch — Hayat Tahrir al-Sham — in Syria’s Idlib
province to this day. In addition, the CIA was just recently
revealed to
be helping the Islamic State regroup in Syrian refugee camps.
Furthermore, the U.S. has long turned a blind eye to the funding
of terror groups by
allied states like Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
The
role of Western money, arms and policy in the creation and
maintenance of radical Wahhabi terrorist groups is often entirely
ignored by Western media portrayals of Muslim-majority nations,
thereby creating a false image that such violence is endemic to these
nations when, in fact, it is often imported state-sponsored terror.
These
nuances of the situation are rarely heard in the narratives parroted
out on mainstream media and those who regularly consume mainstream
news sources are more likely than not to support those narratives.
For that reason, it is easy to see how someone like Donald Trump —
who is said to watch television for eight
hours every day,
much of it Fox
News —
has espoused the views that he has. Thanks to the manufacturing of
Islamophobia of mainstream media, racist policies like the so-called
“Muslim ban” have found wide support, as this false narrative has
conflated Islam with violence so often that many have come to believe
that only by banning Islam can violence and terrorism in the U.S. be
reduced.
However,
the recent shooting in Christchurch, as well as the Tree of Life
Synagogue shooting and other recent acts of domestic terrorism,
should alert us to the fact that it is the hate manufactured by this
false narrative that is itself endangering American lives while also
covering up the mass murder that has been perpetrated by the U.S. and
other governments around the world for decades.
Israel’s
leading role in stoking ethnonationalism
While
the realities of post-9/11 America, as well as the rise in visibility
of white ethnonationalism during the Trump Era, have done much to
normalize attacks on immigrants, the country that has done the most
to normalize anti-Muslim terrorism over this same time frame has been
the state of Israel.
Israel,
from its founding days, has long been steeped in neocolonialist
ideology that is remarkably similar to the ideological basis behind
other settler states like the United States, Australia and New
Zealand. This system of beliefs holds that the native inhabitants of
the land — whether the Palestinians, the Sioux or the Maori — are
“primitive” and incompetent and that the land would have remained
“wild” and undeveloped were it not for the “fortunate”
appearance of European settlers. As MintPress noted
in a
previous report on
the subject, such narratives cast these settlers as both superior and
normal while the natives become inferior and abnormal, thus
obfuscating the settler’s status as foreigner and conqueror.
In
Israel’s case, this ideology has promoted the idea that all Arabs
are “sons of the desert” while the desert simultaneously
represents a barbaric obstacle to “progress” and development.
However, the state of Israel, under the lengthy tenure of current
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, has seen these long-standing and
somewhat hidden underpinnings of the Zionist state burst out into the
open.
The
result has been the overt expression of ethnonationalism in such a
way that Israel has become an inspiration to white nationalists in
the United States, like Richard Spencer, and far-right ethno-fascist
leaders like Brazil’s Jair Bolsonaro and India’s Narendra Modi.
The inspiration has been mutual, according to reports
and testimonials published
by Jewish newspaper The
Forward.
For
years, through its military occupation of Palestine, Israel’s
government and military have sought to paint all Palestinians,
including children, as “terrorists” or “terrorist
sympathizers.” Take, for example, current Justice Minister Ayelet
Shaked, who
wrote in
2014, “This is a war between two people. Who is the enemy? The
Palestinian people …”
A
more recent example came from former Defense Minister Avigdor
Lieberman, who asserted just
last year that
“no innocent people” live in the Gaza Strip and that every
inhabitant in the enclave is somehow connected to Hamas, even though
nearly half of Gaza’s population are children and teenagers. Such
rhetoric has become par for the course and numerous examples show
that Shaked and Lieberman’s views are increasingly accepted and
“normal” in today’s Israel.
Yet,
the clearest indication of anti-Muslim terror’s normalization in
Israel is the recent rise of Otzma Yehudit, or the “Jewish Power”
Party. This party, founded by devotees of radical American-born Rabbi
Meir Kahane, has
now merged —
at Netanyahu’s urging — with the Jewish Home Party and stands to
become part of Israel’s ruling coalition if Netanyahu manages to
win in the country’s upcoming elections.

In
the office of Itamar Ben Gvir, one of Otzma Yehudit’s leaders, is a
framed picture of
Baruch Goldstein. In an act that bears a striking similarity to the
events in Christchurch, Goldstein — a long-time devotee of Kahane —
entered a mosque in the West Bank city of Hebron in 1994 and opened
fire, killing 29 and injuring more than 125 worshippers. After the
act, Kahane’s Kach party — the predecessor of Otzma Yehudit —
was labeled a terrorist organization by the United States and Israel.
Despite
official condemnation, Goldstein’s atrocious act has been the
subject of praise and inspiration for subsequent extremists who,
under Netanyahu’s government, have become increasingly normalized.
Goldstein’s gravestone reads “He gave his life for the people of
Israel, its Torah and land” and continues to be used as a site of
pilgrimage and homage by the very extremists that Netanyahu is openly
courting for political gain.
While
the followers of Kahane are making a comeback in Israel, several
notable Arab political parties have
been banned from
participating Israel’s upcoming elections, with some being accused
of “supporting terrorism” owing to their opposition to Israel’s
decades-long military occupation of Palestine. Yet, by elevating
clear terror supporters among the ranks of the Jewish Power Party (Otzma Yehudit), it
has become increasingly clear that openly supporting and advocating
anti-Muslim terrorism is no bar to legitimacy and political power in
today’s Israel.
No
‘clash of civilizations,’ only manipulation and exploitation of
differences
The
tragic and barbaric shooting in Christchurch, New Zealand is yet
another horrific and glaring reminder that the “divide and conquer”
war propaganda that has sought to promote the so-called “clash of
civilizations” between Christianity and Islam, West and East, has
not only been monstrously effective but continues to be monstrously
destructive to people on both sides.
However,
the media’s manufacture of Islamophobia, in seeking to Wite-out
Muslim suffering and reduce Western empathy for innocent Muslim
civilians, has increasingly placed targets on the back of Muslims
everywhere — in the West and the East — making it increasingly
difficult for practitioners of the Islamic faith to feel safe
regardless of where they live.
With
most Muslim-majority countries now killing fields in Western-backed
wars, ruled by oppressive, Western-backed dictatorships, or under
threat of Western-backed regime change, even those Muslims who have
sought a safer, quieter life in the “civilized” West have now
found themselves targets thanks to the very war propaganda used to
justify the destruction of their home countries.
While
the murderer Tarrant had stated that he hoped his horrific crime
would help stoke “civil war” in Western countries, this tragedy
should and must serve as a wake up call for people everywhere that
the real forces responsible for the destruction of many
Muslim-majority countries and the current chaos present in many
Western countries are not generated by civilian populations or
religions but instead by the global oligarchy that engineers and
profits from this chaos. These oligarchs loot from the people of the
West just as they do from the people of the East and it is time to
recognize that they are the real threats to a more peaceful world —
not regular people praying, whether it be in a church, a synagogue or
a mosque.

Ahmed AbdulKareem over de strijd die lokale stammen in Oost-Jemen voeren tegen Saoedi-Arabië, daar dit land samen met de Verenigde Arabische

deel van Jemen (genaamd al-Mahrah….)……
De
stammen blokkeren de invoer van militair materieel en dat is niet de
eerste keer, al wordt de huidige blokkade gevoerd met wapens en niet zoals een eerdere vreedzame sit-in (demonstratie) die Saoedi-Arabië in 2017 bloedig heeft
neergeslagen….. In Jemen woedt een vergeten (illegale) oorlog, een oorlog die is uitgemond in een genocide tegen de sjiitische
bevolking van Jemen, een zaak waarover de reguliere westerse media amper berichten en al helemaal niet in combinatie met het woord ‘genocide…’ Niet vreemd dus dat dit feit, het neerslaan van vreedzame
demonstraties in 2017, al helemaal niet werd gemeld, zelfs niet op de sociale media die wel echt nieuws brengen (althans ik ben die berichten niet tegengekomen)…..
Hoe lang
laat de wereld de Saoedische terreurcoalitie doorgaan met haar
genocide, zonder zelfs maar commentaar te geven??? De hoogste tijd
voor een boycot van Saoedi-Arabië en haar terreurcoalitie, die verder
bestaat uit de VAE, Egypte en Marokko, waar dan meteen een boycot aan vastgeknoopt moet worden tegen de VS en GB, die Saoedi-Arabië blijven voorzien van wapens, munitie, naast training en de levering van rollend, varend en vliegend oorlogstuig.
Waar nog extra moet worden gewezen op de al helemaal kwalijke rol die de VS speelt: tot november vorig jaar voorzag de VS het vliegend oorlogstuig van de Saoedische terreurcoalitie 9.000 keer van (veelal gratis) brandstof in de lucht, deed de coördinatie van de bombardementen en hielp fysiek mee met commando’s op de grond en met de zeeblokkade tegen de sjiitische bevolking van Jemen…..
Voor zover bekend doet de VS nog steeds de coördinatie van de bombardementen (met haar radarvliegtuigen) en helpt het nog steeds mee aan de zeeblokkade, een blokkade die NB de honger in Jemen heeft veroorzaakt….. Ook aan de levering van oorlogstuig is geen eind gekomen, al schijnt het congres nu voor een volledige stop op de hulp aan de Saoedische terreurcoalitie te zijn……

brazen military buildup by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates
(UAE).
Al-MAHRAH,
YEMEN — Fierce
clashes have erupted between local tribes and Saudi forces supported
by local mercenary groups in the Haat district of Yemen’s eastern
Mahrah province. The clashes were sparked when local tribal members
prevented Saudi shipping containers containing military equipment and
household appliances from entering the country via al-Shihan border
crossings with Oman, where Saudi Arabia plans to build anew military
base..
Witnesses
told MintPress News that the tribal groups stopped
the trucks and checked them, then forced them to return. In the wake
of this incident, fierce clashes erupted leaving Saudi mercenaries
injured. Saudi warplanes could also be seen circling the skies above
the area.
The
latest incident came amidst a precipitous rise in tensions in eastern
Yemen, where local residents have been grappling with an increasingly
brazen military buildup by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates
(UAE). Just last week, Saudi troops, tanks, and artillery arrived at
the coastal area of Eienah, east of al-Gaydah, without coordinating
with local authorities, a Yemeni official who spoke on condition of
anonymity, told MintPress.
The
attack has dangerous connotations for the region and comes less than
six months after three protesters
were killed by
Saudi forces during a sit-in opposing the Saudi Coalition’s
military buildup in eastern Yemen. Following the attack on the
peaceful protest, local tribes in al-Mahrah vowed to take up arms
against Saudi-led forces in order to prevent the construction of more
checkpoints and military bases in their country.
Al-Mahrah
residents see the build-up
of Saudi troops in
the district as part of a pattern of malign and colonial Saudi
policies in their country. Riyadh has deployed its forces in
al-Mahrah under the guise of reconstruction and counter-smuggling
operations. But Saudi forces have taken control of an increasingly
long list of local government facilities, including the al-Ghaydah
Airport, the Nishtun port, Sarfit, and the Shehn border crossing, as
well as a number of coastal areas.
Last
week, Ali bin Salem al-Huraizy, al-Mahrah’s former deputy governor
said: “The Saudis are determined to militarize the sea and land.
They [Saudis] try to build a Saudi camp [base] every ten kilos.” He
called on the people of al-Mahrah province to prepare to defend their
sovereignty against Saudi Arabia by force of arms if necessary.
The
Deputy Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the peaceful sit-in,
Aboud Qamasit, said that Saudi Arabia and its local allies have not
shown any goodwill — quite the contrary, they increasingly build
military bases in the province. He promised that al-Mahrah’s
residents will continue to hold sit-ins and protests.
The
sit-in committee, which was formed by al-Mahrah residents, said in a
statement on March 12 that Saudi Arabian forces kidnapped two
civilians, taking them to al-Ghaydah Airport prison, a Saudi secret
prison in the region, where dozens of detainees are subjected to
serious abuses and assaults according to the sit-in committee.
Ahmed
Belhaf, a leader in the protest movement, said in a statement on
March 2, that “there are an estimated 24 Saudi camps in the Ghaydah
Airport operating under the supervision of the airport commander and
training hundreds of extremist and terrorist militias.”
Saudi
Arabia launched a brutal military campaign in late 2017 against
al-Mahrah, which borders Oman and has remained largely immune to the
broader war in Yemen, as both the Houthis and other armed groups have
little presence in the province. Saudi Arabia claims that arms
smuggling operations by the Houthis are being carried out from Oman
into Yemen via the al-Mahrah border crossing, though the Saudis have
provided no evidence to back their claim, which Oman has repeatedly
denied.

A
local Yemeni official who spoke on condition of anonymity said that
Saudi Arabia has begun implementing a plan to eliminate Oman’s
allies in the province, including the Mahri General Council, the
largest opposition party to Saudi policies and plans in al-Mahrah,
which is comprised of political and tribal forces and led by Sultan
Abdullah bin Isa Al Afar, a key ally of Oman.
In
an effort to undermine local opposition to its military expansion in
the region, Saudi Arabia plans to establish a new tribal council,
replacing the Mahri General Council, which is to be led by Rajeh Said
Bakrit. Bakrit was appointed by the Coalition as a governor of al
Mahrah on November 27, 2017, to replace Mohammed Abdullah Kuddah
after Kuddah spoke out against Saudi Arabia’s presence. The first
phase of that plan includes monthly payoffs of 30,000 Saudi riyals
($8000) to 60 tribal elders and influential figures.
Many
strategic analysts see the Saudi plan as a way to apply pressure on
Oman, which enjoys long borders and solid relations with the
residents of al-Mahrah. Much to the dismay of Saudi Arabia and the
UAE, Oman also enjoys cordial relations with Saudi rival Iran, a
relationship that the Coalition is eager to undermine.
In
an effort to stem Saudi influence in the region, residents of
al-Hawf, which lies east of al-Mahrah, announced the formation of a
General Forum to bring area management back into the hands of local
Mahrahi residents and organize civil projects in the area. The
General Forum is being supported by the government of Oman and the
effort is expected to spread to nearby districts.
Saudi
forces in eastern Yemen have recently been accused of planting
monitoring devices into local communications networks — developed
by a foreign engineering team and supported by Bakrit, according to a
local official who spoke on condition of anonymity. The official said
that the devices would allow Saudi forces to monitor and spy on
residents and leaders who oppose the Saudi occupation and undermine
the local opposition identifying and then assassinating or arresting
its leaders.

A
Saudi military commander in al-Mahrah allegedly asked Bakrit to
reveal the names of the most prominent leaders who oppose the Saudi
presence in the province, threatening to ‘physically liquidate’
them. On Wednesday, members of a UAE assassination squad arrived in
al-Ghaydah. The same squad is thought to be responsible for
the assassination
of 27 religious leaders in
Yemen who opposed the Saudi-led occupation.
Saudi
Arabia has also launched a campaign to recruit hundreds of
al-Mahrah’s young for a local security force, called the “Mahri
Elite Forces” and modeled around other Coalition-backed mercenary
forces operating in Yemen, including the Hadhrami Elite Forces in
Hadhramaut province, the Shabwani Elite Forces in Shabwa, and the
Pioneer Security Belt Forces (al-Hizam) brigades in Aden.
The
campaign has sparked dismay amongst al-Mahrah’s tribes, who held a
meeting and issued a subsequent statement on Monday saying: “Trying
to copy the bad experience of the security belts in Aden and transfer
them to al-Mahrah would open the way for armed conflicts and
undermine local authorities.” The tribes called on the young
Mahrahis to refuse to join the Saudi forces, saying the creation of
the paramilitary group would create a combustible environment that
threatens to upset the local balance.
Like
many paramilitary forces created by the Saudi-led Coalition in Yemen,
the Mahri Elite Force was formed by recruiting members from specific
tribes, not on the basis of one national army for the country as a
whole. The predictable impact has been to exacerbate tribal
differences, revive the desire for revenge among tribes, and create
the desire for separate states.
Al-Huraizy
said in a statement:
The
UAE seeks through its armed formations to create a new situation that
will enable the UAE to dominate Yemen, control its ports and
capabilities, and rob the national decision, violate its sovereignty
and bring the country into chaos.”
Saudi
Arabia’s policies in eastern Yemen lack a realistic reading of
dangers and consequences, according to Abaad Studies and Research
Center, a Yemeni research center closely aligned with Saudi Coalition
allies in the country. As Saudi Arabia dismantles traditional social
structures, ideological systems, and political parties, militia
alternatives have predictably emerged.

dwongen. Saoedi-Arabië dwong hem zijn presidentschap weer op te
nemen, zodat hij hen te hulp kon roepen in de strijd tegen de
Houthi’s….. Al-Hadi was de schoft die Al Qaida en IS onderdak gaf
in Jemen, waarna dit geteisem begon met haar strijd tegen de
sjiieten, die zelfs niet veilig waren in hun moskeeën….. Over die
aanvallen was het ook behoorlijk stil in het westen, vergelijk dat
eens met reactie in die media na de terreuraanval op de 2 moskeeën in
Christchurch…..
Israël ‘onderzoekt’ (voor wat het waard is) 11 van de 189 door haar leger gepleegde moorden, die werden gepleegd tijdens de Great Return March…. Schandalig dat niet alle moorden worden onderzocht, maar ik moet
toegeven dat ik zelfs onderzoek door Israël van 1 moord niet had verwacht. Er is
dan ook maar 1 verklaring voor: de ophef die deze moorden in de
arabische wereld hebben veroorzaakt. Normaal zou Israël daar geen
moeite mee hebben, echter nu Israël banden heeft aangeknoopt met de
Golfstaten is de situatie veranderd, overigens nadat deze terreurstaat al een aantal jaren geleden hetzelfde deed met
de reli-fascistsche terreurstaat Saoedi-Arabië.
In
het hieronder opgenomen artikel van Middle East Monitor (MEMO) wordt gesteld dat dodelijke acties van het Israëlische leger alleen
plaatsvinden als er direct levensgevaar bestaat voor militairen of
Israelsiche burgers (en dan alleen voor de Joden zoals je
begrijpt…)….. Het past niet om te lachen in deze, anders zou je
je daadwerkelijk doodlachen….
Het
voorgaande daar de psychopaten, die 99% het Israëlische leger vormen, o.a. schoten (met het doel te doden) op ongewapende Palestijnse: kinderen,
invaliden, medisch hulpverleners (waaronder een arts) en
journalisten…… Waar deze groepen duidelijk als zodanig herkenbaar
waren, de medisch hulpverleners zelfs nog met duidelijk zichtbare kleding (dat dit aangaf), bovendien werden zij vermoord terwijl ze medische
hulp boden aan gewonden, voorts waren de journalisten te herkennen aan
het woord ‘pers’ op hun kleding…….
Israël heeft volgens de VN 189 Palestijnen vermoord, die voor het overgrote
deel ongewapend waren, degenen die ‘bewapend waren’, werkte met
katapulten en slingers, me dunkt tegenover het modern en zwaar
bewapende Israëlische leger geen tegenstander die er toe
doet……… Verder moet je niet vergeten dat er naast de doden ook
nog eens meer dan 6.100 gewonden te betreuren waren, waaronder
uiteraard een flink aantal zwaar gewonden, niet zo vreemd als je
bedenkt dat het de opzet was deze mensen te vermoorden…..
Wel
moet gezegd worden dat de cijfers, die genoemd worden in het artikel,
zoals gezegd van de VN, eerdere onderzoeken tegenspreken, er zouden
veel meer doden zijn gevallen (rond de 250), inclusief een groter aantal dode
Palestijnse kinderen, dit zouden er al meer dan 50 zijn….. Ofwel:
ondanks dat de cijfers van de VN al schokkend genoeg zijn, is het
aantal genoemde doden en gewonden aan de lage kant, om het
voorzichtig uit te drukken (wat betreft het aantal gewonden werden
eerder cijfers van ver boven de 10.000 genoemd….)
De
VN noemde de moorden een paar weken geleden volkomen terecht
oorlogsmisdaden en misdaden tegen de menselijkheid……

Israel
is carrying out criminal investigations into the killing of 11
Palestinians by Israeli forces at border protests in Gaza last year,
Israeli officials said on Wednesday, says Reuters.
A
United Nations human rights panel said two weeks ago that Israeli
troops had killed 189 Palestinians and wounded more than 6,100
at protests from March 30 to December 31.
Their actions may amount to war crimes and crimes against humanity,
it said.
Senior
Israeli officials, speaking to reporters in Geneva on Wednesday,
rejected the finding that its forces may have committed war crimes.
The
UN report also said Israel had opened criminal investigations in only
five cases, including the death of four children.
But
a senior Israeli official said an inquiry was held into each and
every death. Israel had opened about 300 initial inquiries, and
criminal investigations were underway related to 11 individuals, he
said.
“If
we find somebody violated the law there will be consequences as well.
But for a war crime, it needs to be intentional.”
Under
Israeli rules of engagement, live fire can be used only if there is a
real and imminent threat from individuals or a mob, and only as a
last resort, the official said.
“Each
and every bullet received authorisation of an experienced commander
at the scene,” he said.
The
Gaza protesters are demanding Israel ease a blockade of the enclave
and recognize their right to return to lands their families fled or
were forced from when Israel was founded in 1948.
Thirty-five
children, two journalists and three “clearly-marked” paramedics
were among those killed by Israeli forces, in violation of
international humanitarian law, the UN panel said. Other victims
included a double amputee in a wheelchair.
The
senior Israeli official, asked about such killings, said: “The idea
as policy is never aimed fire at a journalist, women or children. But
in course of events, somebody could be hit by mistake.”
Israel
has said its forces opened fire to protect the border from incursions
and attacks by armed militants.
The
officials accused the UN investigators of having ignored the role of
Hamas in inciting Palestinian civilians, deploying militants among
the activists, and firing 1,300 rockets into Israel.
Israeli
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected the report and accused
the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC), which launched
the investigation,
of hypocrisy and lies fuelled by “an obsessive hatred for Israel”.
The
Geneva forum is expected next week to back the panel’s findings,
including a
call for a referral to the International Criminal Court (ICC),
diplomats say. The Hague court has opened a preliminary investigation
into allegations of Israeli rights abuses on Palestinian territory in
2015.

Maar niet voor TUI, je weet wel de smakeloze reisorganisatie die in haar schijtvervelende reclames continu spreekt over ‘discover your smile’, dit bedrijf heeft laten weten dat ze ‘geen smile’ verwachten van passagiers die vanwege de twee rampen hun reis willen annuleren, daar ze hun geld niet terug zullen krijgen…….
Nogmaals: het gaat hier om relatief nieuwe toestellen en het is niet meer dan normaal, deze toestellen aan de grond te houden, nadat twee van deze toestellen in een halfjaar tijd uit de lucht vallen…..
Blijkbaar vertrouwt men in Nederland liever een bedrijf als Boeing, of vliegt men over oorlogsgebied, waar ook nog eens alle radarposten zijn uitgeschakeld (zoals bij rampvlucht MH17), dan dat men het gezonde verstand gebruikt, maar dat krijg je als je constant met een ‘smile op je gezicht rondvliegt….’
Nederland, een land waar alles leuk moet zijn, zelfs als de VS illegale oorlogen voert, oorlogen die worden gesteund met ons leger en belastinggeld, ja men lacht zelfs nog als een goede handelspartner en vriend van het koningshuis, een genocide uitvoert, zoals Saoedi-Arabië in Jemen…… (S-A, waaraan Nederland nog steeds wapenonderdelen levert…..)
Nee, Nederland wenst geen negatief nieuws en gezeur over gevaarlijke vliegtuigen…….. Waar Nederland dan wel negatief over wil zijn en over zeurt, zijn de vluchtelingenstromen, die op gang zijn gekomen door de illegale oorlogen die de VS onder andere met onze steun voert……
TUI? Laat het ‘smilen’ maar over aan de grofgraaitop van dat bedrijf en vlieg met een andere maatschappij!! (als je al moet vliegen, ga als het mogelijk is zoveel mogelijk met de trein, zeker als het gaat om reizen binnen ons gebied van de EU, ook nog eens positief in de poging de klimaatverandering te vertragen!)
PS: de NOS heeft op haar website nu 3 berichten staan over deze laatste vliegtuigramp, waarin niet één keer wordt gemeld dat TUI bange reizigers niet tegemoet wenst te komen, als zij hun reis willen annuleren….. Blijkbaar is het de taak van de ‘onafhankelijke NOS’ om naast zoveel mogelijk het waardeloze beleid van Rutte 3 te beschermen tegen negatief nieuws, ook bedrijven op die manier te bedienen…..

krijgt onder uit de kan, dit i.v.m. de Chagos Eilanden, waar GB de
bevolking evacueerde o.a. van het eiland Diego Garcia, waar de
militaire basis van de VS is gestationeerd….. 50 jaar lang heeft GB
geweigerd de bewoners terug te laten keren naar hun huis….. Verder valt in het artikel van Pilger te
lezen dat de Britse regering de bewoners van deze archipel eigenlijk de toegang
niet meer kon ontzeggen en daarom besloot de Chagos Archipel tot een zeereservaat uit te roepen…… Daarmee kunnen de bewoners bijvoorbeeld niet meer als
vissers voorzien in hun onderhoud…… De Britten verzekerden de VS
in een geheim bericht dat dit voldoende was om de wil tot terugkeer
van de bewoners te breken, een bericht dat ook al terug is te vinden in WikiLeaks……
Gelukkig
heeft het Internationaal Gerechtshof beslist dat GB geen zeggenschap
heeft over de Chagos archipel……

Clearing House” – Whenever I visit Julian
Assange, we meet in a room he knows too well. There is a bare table
and pictures of Ecuador on the walls. There is a bookcase where the
books never change. The curtains are always drawn and there is no
natural light. The air is still and fetid.
This is Room
101.
Before I enter Room 101, I must surrender my passport and
phone. My pockets and possessions are examined. The food I bring is
inspected.
The man who guards Room 101 sits in what looks like
an old-fashioned telephone box. He watches a screen, watching Julian.
There are others unseen, agents of the state, watching and
listening.
Cameras are everywhere in Room 101. To avoid them,
Julian manoeuvres us both into a corner, side by side, flat up
against the wall. This is how we catch up: whispering and writing to
each other on a notepad, which he shields from the cameras. Sometimes
we laugh.
I have my designated time slot. When that expires,
the door in Room 101 bursts open and the guard says, “Time is
up!” On New Year’s Eve, I was allowed an extra 30 minutes and
the man in the phone box wished me a happy new year, but not
Julian.
Of course, Room 101 is the room in George Orwell’s
prophetic novel, 1984, where the thought police watched and tormented
their prisoners, and worse, until people surrendered their humanity
and principles and obeyed Big Brother.
Julian
Assange will never obey Big Brother. His resilience and courage are
astonishing, even though his physical health struggles to keep
up.
Julian
is a distinguished Australian, who has changed the way many people
think about duplicitous governments. For this, he is a political
refugee subjected to what the United Nations calls “arbitrary
detention”.
The
UN says he has the right of free passage to freedom, but this is
denied. He has the right to medical treatment without fear of arrest,
but this is denied. He has the right to compensation, but this is
denied.
As
founder and editor of WikiLeaks, his crime has been to make sense of
dark times. WikiLeaks has an impeccable record of accuracy and
authenticity which no newspaper, no TV channel, no radio station, no
BBC, no New York Times, no Washington Post, no Guardian can equal.
Indeed, it shames them.
That
explains why he is being punished.
For
example:
Last
week, the International Court of Justice ruled that the British
Government had no legal powers over the Chagos Islanders, who in the
1960s and 70s, were expelled in secret from their homeland on Diego
Garcia in the Indian Ocean and sent into exile and poverty. Countless
children died, many of them, from sadness. It was an epic crime few
knew about.
For
almost 50 years, the British have denied the islanders’ the right to
return to their homeland, which they had given to the Americans for a
major military base.
In
2009, the British Foreign Office concocted a “marine reserve”
around the Chagos archipelago.
This
touching concern for the environment was exposed as a fraud when
WikiLeaks published a secret cable from the British Government
reassuring the Americans that “the former inhabitants would find
it difficult, if not impossible, to pursue their claim for
resettlement on the islands if the entire Chagos Archipelago were a
marine reserve.”
The
truth of the conspiracy clearly influenced the momentous decision of
the International Court of Justice.
WikiLeaks
has also revealed how the United States spies on its allies; how the
CIA can watch you through your I-phone; how Presidential candidate
Hillary Clinton took vast sums of money from Wall Street for secret
speeches that reassured the bankers that if she was elected, she
would be their friend.
In
2016, WikiLeaks revealed a direct connection between Clinton and
organised jihadism in the Middle East: terrorists, in other words.
One email disclosed that when Clinton was US Secretary of State, she
knew that Saudi Arabia and Qatar were funding Islamic State, yet she
accepted huge donations for her foundation from both
governments.
She
then approved the world’s biggest ever arms sale to her Saudi
benefactors: arms that are currently being used against the stricken
people of Yemen.
That
explains why he is being punished.
WikiLeaks
has also published more than 800,000 secret files from Russia,
including the Kremlin, telling us more about the machinations of
power in that country than the specious hysterics of the Russiagate
pantomime in Washington.
This
is real journalism — journalism of a kind now considered exotic: the
antithesis of Vichy journalism, which speaks for the enemy of the
people and takes its sobriquet from the Vichy government that
occupied France on behalf of the Nazis.
Vichy
journalism is censorship by omission, such as the untold scandal of
the collusion between Australian governments and the United States to
deny Julian Assange his rights as an Australian citizen and to
silence him.
In
2010, Prime Minister Julia Gillard went as far as ordering the
Australian Federal Police to investigate and hopefully prosecute
Assange and WikiLeaks — until she was informed by the AFP that no
crime had been committed.
Last
weekend, the Sydney Morning Herald published a lavish supplement
promoting a celebration of “Me Too” at the Sydney Opera
House on 10 March. Among the leading participants is the recently
retired Minister of Foreign Affairs, Julie Bishop.
Bishop
has been on show in the local media lately, lauded as a loss to
politics: an “icon”, someone called her, to be
admired.
The
elevation to celebrity feminism of one so politically primitive as
Bishop tells us how much so-called identity politics have subverted
an essential, objective truth: that what matters, above all, is not
your gender but the class you serve.
Before
she entered politics, Julie Bishop was a lawyer who served the
notorious asbestos miner James Hardie which fought claims by men and
their families dying horribly with asbestosis.
Lawyer
Peter Gordon recalls Bishop “rhetorically asking the court why
workers should be entitled to jump court queues just because they
were dying.”
Bishop
says she “acted on instructions … professionally and
ethically”.
Perhaps
she was merely “acting on instructions” when she flew to
London and Washington last year with her ministerial chief of staff,
who had indicated that the Australian Foreign Minister would raise
Julian’s case and hopefully begin the diplomatic process of bringing
him home.
Julian’s
father had written a moving letter to the then Prime Minister Malcolm
Turnbull, asking the government to intervene diplomatically to free
his son. He told Turnbull that he was worried Julian might not leave
the embassy alive.
Julie
Bishop had every opportunity in the UK and the US to present a
diplomatic solution that would bring Julian home. But this required
the courage of one proud to represent a sovereign, independent state,
not a vassal.
Instead,
she made no attempt to contradict the British Foreign Secretary,
Jeremy Hunt, when he said outrageously that Julian “faced
serious charges”. What charges? There were no
charges.
Australia’s
Foreign Minister abandoned her duty to speak up for an Australian
citizen, prosecuted with nothing, charged with nothing, guilty of
nothing.
Will
those feminists who fawn over this false icon at the Opera House next
Sunday be reminded of her role in colluding with foreign forces to
punish an Australian journalist, one whose work has revealed that
rapacious militarism has smashed the lives of millions of ordinary
women in many countries: in Iraq alone, the US-led invasion of that
country, in which Australia participated, left 700,000 widows.
So
what can be done? An Australian government that was prepared to act
in response to a public campaign to rescue the refugee football
player, Hakeem al-Araibi, from torture and persecution in Bahrain, is
capable of bringing Julian Assange home.
Yet
the refusal by the Department of Foreign Affairs in Canberra to
honour the United Nations’ declaration that Julian is the victim of
“arbitrary detention” and has a fundamental right to his
freedom is a shameful breach of the spirit of international law.
Why
has the Australian government made no serious attempt to free
Assange? Why did Julie Bishop bow to the wishes of two foreign
powers? Why is this democracy traduced by its servile relationships,
and integrated with lawless foreign power?
The
persecution of Julian Assange is the conquest of us all: of our
independence, our self respect, our intellect, our compassion, our
politics, our culture.
So
stop scrolling. Organise. Occupy. Insist. Persist. Make a noise. Take
direct action. Be brave and stay brave. Defy the thought police.
War
is not peace, freedom is not slavery, ignorance is not strength. If
Julian can stand up to Big Brother, so can you: so can all of
us.

Rubinstein publiceerde een artikel over de verbintenis van de
Verenigde Arabische Emiraten (VAE) en IS, waar hij in de kop de vraag
stelt of de door de VS gesteunde VAE leiders van IS naar Jemen heeft
getransporteerd. De vraag stellen is haar beantwoorden: ja dus.
Opvallend dat Rubinstein daar zo verbaasd over is, immers de
opgestapte president Al-Hadi (onder druk van S-A is hij nu
juntaleider) werd gedwongen af te treden daar hij IS en Al Qaida
onderdak had gegeven in Jemen……
Deze
twee soennitische terreurgroepen begingen daarna moorden en ander
barbaarsheden tegen de voornamelijk sjiitische bevolking van Jemen,
de mensen waren zelfs in moskeeën niet veilig voor de terreur van
deze groepen……. Daarop bonden de Houthi rebellen, gesteund door
een deel van het Jemenitisch leger, de strijd aan met IS, Al Qaida en
de al-Hadi getrouwe militaire macht…… Samen met de Koerden in Syrië waren de Houthi rebellen in Jemen de eersten die succesvol IS
bestreden.
Dat
succes stak het soennitische Saoedi-Arabië en zij zetten de gevluchte
al-Hadi onder druk het presidentschap weer op te nemen zodat hij S-A te
hulp kon roepen om de haar getrouwe terroristen van IS en Al Qaida bij te staan in de strijd tegen de Houthi-rebellen……
De VS
heeft overigens aan de wieg van IS gestaan, samen met Egypte, Turkije en
Saoedi-Arabië (en naar het schijnt zou Israël ook een rol hebben
gespeeld), niet voor niets dat deze landen het vervoer regelden voor
IS leden uit Libië, die werden getransporteerd naar Irak waar ze over
de grens met Syrië werden gebracht, inclusief wapens, munitie en
pickup trucks…….
Voordat
Rusland begon met de steun voor het reguliere Syrische leger in de strijd tegen de zogenaamde
gematigde rebellen, is de VS meermaals betrapt op het bombarderen van
woestijngebied, zonder dat daar een strijder te bekennen was, echter
volgens de VS waren dat bombardementen tegen IS……. Vandaar ook
dat het jaar voordat Rusland ingreep er praktisch geen successen
werden geboekt door de VS coalitie tegen IS, een coalitie die zogenaamd IS bestreed……
Rusland was duidelijk het kantelpunt voor IS, dat de ene na de
andere klap te verduren kreeg…. Na de successen van het reguliere
Syrische leger en de Russen tegen groepen als IS kon ook de VS-NAVO
coalitie niet anders doen dan af en toe terreurgroepen
raken…….
Onlangs
gaf de VS nota bene toe dat IS ook vocht in het Syrische Aleppo, terwijl men dat
destijds glashard ontkende, er zouden alleen ‘gematigde
terreurgroepen’ (die niet bestaan en niet bestonden) aanwezig zijn
geweest in Aleppo……..
Voorts blijkt keer op keer dat wapens uit de VS in handen zijn van terreurgroepen o.a. in Jemen, hier een link naar een YouTube pagina met meerdere video’s over terreurgroepen met VS wapens. (het Pentagon zijn de laatste jaren miljarden verdwenen, daarmee is de vraag deels beantwoord waar dat geld heenging…… (naar terreurgroepen!)

The
de facto alliance between the U.S. with Saudi Arabia, the UAE, AQAP,
and now allegedly ISIS in Yemen has led to one of the worst
humanitarian disasters in modern history,
ADEN,
YEMEN — Ali Abdullah al-Bujairi — a Yemeni politician
who served as a senior member on the failed UN-brokered transitional
government and as Yemen’s ambassador to Iraq under former president
Ali Abdullah Saleh — is accusing the United Arab Emirates of
facilitating a transfer of ISIS officials into Yemen.
“The
UAE has recently transferred an ISIL commander namely Abu Bakr
al-Zokhri (with Sudanese nationality) — nom de guerre, Khaibar
al-Sumali — from Iraq to Aden in Yemen to recruit and strengthen
the ISIL in Yemen,” al-Bujairi told Qatari
media.
Since
the toppling of ISIS’ so-called caliphate — with Raqqa, Syria as
its capital — the terrorist organization has gained a foothold in a
number of other countries. In Afghanistan, Russia and Iran have
accused the U.S. of helping to facilitate the group’s spread.
Despite
its loss of territory in Iraq and Syria, “ISIL is still active in
ten countries in 2017,” according to the 2018 Global Terrorism
Index report from
the Institute for Economics & Peace, which further states:
The
collapse of ISIL in Iraq and Syria has moved the group’s activities
elsewhere, in particular to the Maghreb and Sahel regions, most
notably in Libya, Niger, and Mali, and Southeast Asia, most notably
the Philippines.”
In
2017, the terror group’s reach was felt in many corners of the
world. The report states: “ISIL committed attacks in 286 cities
around the world in four different regions: Asia-Pacific,
Europe, MENA [Middle East and North Africa], and the Russia and
Eurasia region.” However, those hit hardest by the group’s terror
have mostly been in the Middle East and North Africa. The report
concludes:
Of
all ISIL attacks, 98 percent of incidents and 98 percent of deaths
occurred within the MENA region. Ninety percent of all terror attacks
and 81 percent of terror-related deaths from ISIL occurred in Iraq
alone.”
These
figures, however, do not include the Islamic State’s chapter in
Afghanistan, referred to as the Khorasan Group (ISIS-K), nor does it
include ISIS affiliates in Egypt.
The
campaign by the U.S. with Saudi Arabia, the UAE, AQAP, and now
allegedly ISIS in Yemen has led to one of the worst humanitarian
disasters in modern history, with large portions of the population at
risk for starvation, millions displaced, and scores of civilians and
children killed, MintPress
News has
reported.
While
the Saudi-led coalition’s dealings with the Yemen affiliate of ISIS
remain largely unexplored, the main partners have their own ties to
al-Qaeda in the country. This unholy alliance meant to depose the
Houthis, has seen the coalition, of which the supposedly democratic
government of the U.S. became a member without prior authorization
from Congress, work hand-in-glove with al-Qaeda.
Running
with cynical circles
Little
is known about the presence of ISIS in Yemen, with the numbers of
fighters believed to be in the low- to mid-hundreds, according to
the UN Security Council. The U.S. conducted a grand total of 36
airstrikes against terrorist groups in the country in 2018, but the
overwhelming majority targeted the much larger Al-Qaeda affiliate,
Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), and the U.S. has not
struck ISIS
in Yemen since January 2018.
While
ISIS has attacked Houthi and Shia Muslim targets in Yemen, it has no
territory. AQAP, on the other hand, controls large swaths of the
southeast. According to the Global Terrorism Index, “Adan-Abyan
Province of the Islamic State is primarily active in the southern
coastal province of Adan, while AQAP in active in the provinces of
Abyan and Lahij, and Ansar Allahin Taizz and Marib.” Other ISIS
affiliates once existed in Yemen but have since dwindled out.
While
the extent and nature of U.S. relations with ISIS in Yemen is
unclear, its relationship with its regional rival AQAP, which is best
described as that of “frenemies,” is more widely known.

In
December, the U.S. Congress voted to end support for Saudi Arabia’s
war on Yemen, but the U.S. remains authorized to fight on Yemeni soil
because of the 2001 Authorization for Use of Military Force (AUMF).
This document also provided the U.S. cover for its war in Syria. The
bill allows for the use of force against groups associated with
attacks on 9/11, and ISIS was tenuously linked to al-Qaeda.
However,
the U.S. was a member of the Saudi-led coalition for years. This
partnership became unpalatable to mainstream media pundits and
audiences over the summer when a U.S.-made bomb was used by Saudi
Arabia on a bus in an airstrike that left 40 children dead.
While
AQAP is the ostensible enemy of the United States, they appear to be
a friend of a friend in the very least. In February, it
was revealed that
Saudi Arabia and the UAE gave U.S.-made weapons to al-Qaeda fighters
in the country. CNN reports:
Saudi
Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, its main partner in the war,
have used the U.S.-manufactured weapons as a form of currency to buy
the loyalties of militias or tribes, bolster chosen armed actors, and
influence the complex political landscape.
One
of those militias linked to AQAP, the Abu Abbas brigade, now
possesses U.S.-made Oshkosh armored vehicles, paraded in a 2015 show
of force through the city.
Abu
Abbas, the founder, was declared a terrorist by the U.S. in 2017, but
the group still enjoys support from the Saudi coalition and was
absorbed into the coalition-supported 35th Brigade of the Yemeni
army.
In
October 2015, military forces loyal to the government boasted on
Saudi- and UAE-backed media that the Saudis had airdropped
American-made TOW anti-tank missiles on the same frontline where AQAP
had been known to operate at the time.”
Speculation
that the Saudi-led coalition was working with terrorists was finally
legitimized in the mainstream media over the summer, when
the Associated Press revealed that “the coalition
cut secret deals with al-Qaeda fighters, paying some to leave key
cities and towns and letting others retreat with weapons, equipment
and wads of looted cash, [while] hundreds more were recruited to join
the coalition itself.”
Key
participants in the pacts said the U.S. was aware of the arrangements
and held off on any drone strikes…
Coalition-backed
militias actively recruit al-Qaida militants, or those who were
recently members, because they’re considered exceptional fighters…
In
one case, a tribal mediator who brokered a deal between the Emiratis
and al-Qaeda even gave the extremists a farewell dinner.”
The
U.S. had been fighting on two fronts in Yemen: one against Al-Qaeda,
in closer partnership with the UAE; and another alongside the
Saudi-led coalition, which includes the UAE, against the Houthi
government. The latter was, of course, the priority. In contrast to
the 36 bombing missions the U.S. conducted against AQAP and the ISIS
affiliate in Yemen in 2018, the U.S. refueled coalition fighter
jets more
than 9,000
times between March 2015 and July 2017.
This
dynamic has fostered an alliance of convenience between the U.S. and
AQAP, materialized by the flow of U.S.-made weapons from the U.S. to
gulf monarchies, which, in violation of U.S. rules, use them as
bargaining chips with jihadists.
In
fact, the U.S. was “aware of an al-Qaeda presence among the
anti-Houthi ranks,” AP said, citing a “senior
American official.” Even the Saudi-backed former president of
Yemen, Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi, “tapped” Adnan Rouzek to be a “top
military commander.” Rouzek was a senior al-Qaeda official who
escaped from prison in 2008 with other members and continues to be
photographed with known al-Qaeda operatives. His militia under Hadi
“became notorious for kidnappings and street killings, with one
online video showing its masked members shooting a kneeling,
blindfolded man.”
In
November 2017, Hadi picked Rouzek to coordinate the military campaign
and serve as a top commander of a new fighting force, and gave him
$12 million for a new offensive.
Another
“coalition-backed warlord is on the U.S. list of designated
terrorists due to his ties to al-Qaeda.” That warlord is Sheikh
Aboul Abbas.
One
security official told AP that “Aboul Abbas’
forces attacked security headquarters in 2017 and freed a number of
al-Qaeda suspects.” He said he reported the attack to the
coalition, but the perpetrators were rewarded with “40 more pickup
trucks.” “The more we warn, the more they are rewarded,” he
told AP. “Al-Qaeda leaders have armored vehicles given
to them by the coalition while security commanders don’t have such
vehicles.”
“Elements
of the U.S. military are clearly aware that much of what the U.S. is
doing in Yemen is aiding AQAP and there is much angst about that,”
terrorism expert Michael Horton told AP at
the time. Horton called parts of the U.S.-UAE campaign against AQAP a
“farce.”
While
Saudi Arabia has been roundly denounced for its attacks on civilians
and infrastructure in Yemen, particularly since the unrelated slaying
of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, less attention has been paid to
allegations of UAE war crimes in the country. NGOs and reporters have
accused the country of running a network of secret prisons in the
south that use torture as a feature of detention.
Degrading
an enemy whose presence is “exaggerated”
While
the UAE is now being accused of helping to spread ISIS into new
theaters of conflict, the U.S. was accused of doing the same in
Afghanistan last year.
The
Afghanistan-based affiliate “was responsible for 14 percent of
terrorism deaths, or 658 people, in 2017, a 26 percent increase from
the prior year,” according to the Global Terrorism Index report. In
neighboring Pakistan, ISIS affiliates were “responsible for 233
deaths.”
Meanwhile,
the “two deadliest attacks in South Asia” in 2017 “were
committed by the Khorasan Chapter of the Islamic State in Afghanistan
and Pakistan, killing 93 and 91 persons respectively.”

On
repeated occasions last year, Moscow and Tehran accused Washington of
using unmarked helicopters to transfer Daesh fighters into the Haska
Meyna region in Afghanistan where ISIS is active.
In
March of 2018, Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif told a
congregation of diplomats, academics and journalists in Pakistan:
We
see intelligence, as well as eyewitness accounts, that Daesh
fighters, terrorists, were airlifted from battle zones, rescued from
battle zones, including recently from the prison of Haska [Meyna].”
This
time, it wasn’t unmarked helicopters. They were American
helicopters, taking Daesh out of Haska prison. Where did they take
them? Now, we don’t know where they took them, but we see the
outcome. We see more and more violence in Pakistan, more and more
violence in Afghanistan, taking a sectarian flavor.”
After
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov made a big deal out of ISIS’s
presence in an April press conference in Pakistan, U.S. officials
went into defense mode, with General John Nicholson, NATO’s
Afghanistan commander, and the mission’s public-affairs director
swearing that the Russian claims were exaggerated and arguing that
there was “little
evidence” that ISIS was expanding in the country.
Yet,
according to an earlier report from
the U.S. government-funded Voice of America, U.S. troops “routinely
accompany the Afghan forces into battle against [ISIS].”
Flash
forward to August, when NATO confirmed that it had killed ISIS’
leader in Afghanistan, Abu Sayeed Orakzai, as well as 10 other
fighters. As NBC Newsnoted at the time the U.S. estimated
that there were about 2,000 ISIS fighters in the country, while local
Afghan leaders claim that Orakzai was the “fourth” ISIS leader to
be killed in less than a year.

het ministerie van binnenlandse zaken en er een waarschuwing wordt verstuurd zo gauw de persoon die gevolgd
moet worden haar/zijn paspoort of identiteitskaart gebruikt, zo kan voorkomen worden dat
vrouwen stiekem het land ontvluchten……*
Zo was er er begin dit jaar een vrouw die Saoedi-Arabië was ontvlucht en zich opsloot in een Thaise hotelkamer, daar de Thaise autoriteiten op verzoek van terreurstaat S-A haar paspoort hadden ingenomen….. Gelukkig kwam zij weg na de wereldwijde belangstelling en verontwaardiging, daarmee ontsnapte ze aan een welhaast zekere executie in Saoedi-Arabië….. Vrouwen die nu gepakt zullen worden als zij proberen het land te ontvluchten, lopen de kans vermoord te worden, alles met hulp van Google en Apple……..
Google
en Apple zijn sinds de jaren dat ze ontstonden verworden tot
machtige organisaties, zo machtig dat ze volkomen lak hebben aan wat
hun klanten vinden over zaken als hierboven beschreven, men is nu
eenmaal afhankelijk van hun diensten……
Gelukkig
komt er langzaam verandering in, althans wat betreft Apple, meer en
meer klanten laten de producten van Apple voor wat ze zijn en stappen
over op een smartphone of computer van een ander merk……
Google
is een heel ander verhaal, dit bedrijf is bijna monopolist wat
betreft browsers (zoekmachine), althans er is m.i. geen browser die
zo perfect werkt als Google, al moet ik daarbij zeggen dat ik op
dit gebied maar weinig kennis heb en mensen die meer ingevoerd zijn,
zullen het misschien niet met me eens zijn. Doet niets af aan het
feit dat er miljoenen zijn als ik die gewoon een goed werkende
zoekmachine willen gebruiken……
Google
moet allang begrepen hebben dat het van de VS overheid niets te
vrezen heeft op dit gebied, immers Saoedi-Arabië is een goede
handelspartner van de VS (dat jaarlijks vele miljarden aan militaire
apparatuur levert aan deze reli-fascistische dictatuur), dat bleek
nog eens na de barbaarse moord op Khashoggi, NB een kleinigheid
vergeleken met de genocide die dit land uitvoert in buurland Jemen,
waar de VS zelfs aan meewerkt…..
Overigens steunt ook Nederland de Saoedische dictatuur, onder andere met de verkoop van wapenonderdelen aan die meer dan achterlijke dictatuur (waar ‘ons’ koningshuis hartelijke banden onderhoudt met deze dictatuur, die wordt gevormd door het koningshuis in dat land…..)
Google bevindt zich intussen op het niveau waar de bankenmaffia al jaren staat: je kan het bedrijf niet straffen door ‘à la minute’ op
te stappen na smeerpijperij, daar een overstap ingewikkeld en tijdrovend is, ofwel: we
hebben te maken met machtsmisbruik!! Vandaar ook dat Google zich
schikt naar de zittende VS administratie en de reguliere westerse massamedia met de
strijd tegen zogenaamd fake news en nep-manipulaties, waarmee het
censuur ondersteunt en valse propaganda als waarheid wordt aangeprezen……** (alleen al door bepaalde sites/blogs niet meer te tonen in de zoekresultaten….)
Apple
gebruikt intussen het magere excuus dat het nog bezig is Absher te
onderzoeken, alsof het niet allang duidelijk is wat de kleine
Saoedische dictators kunnen uitvreten met deze app…… Kortom Apple
wacht af of Google wegkomt met haar weigering Absher uit de Play Store te halen en als dat positief is voor Google, zal ook Apple de app niet verwijderen……
Google
Refuses to Remove Saudi App That Allows Men to Restrict Women’s
Movement
(MEE) — Google
has refused to remove from its services a mobile app that allows
Saudi men to track the movement of women and migrant workers and
restrict their ability to travel overseas.
The
tech giant said it conducted checks on Absher and concluded that
the app did not violate any of its terms and conditions, so it will
not be removed from Google’s Play store.
Both
Google and Apple have faced criticism from US politicians and human
rights groups for hosting the application.
Google
did not comment on its decision when approached by Middle East Eye.
Absher
is an application that helps Saudi citizens manage their
passports, birth certificates and vehicle registrations through the
kingdom’s interior ministry.
Under
Saudi Arabia’s guardianship system, women are classified as
“dependants” and require permission from their male guardians to
leave the country.
The
Absher app enables Saudi men to grant and revoke permission for their
dependants to leave the country.
Saudi
men can also set up a text messaging system via the app to notify
them of when their “dependant” uses their passport to travel
overseas. The guardian can then revoke permission to travel and stop
them leaving the country.
Saudi
sponsors of migrant workers are also given the same powers with their
employees.
Condemnation
in Washington
Last
month, 14 newly elected members of the US Congress demanded
Google and Apple remove the app, describing Absher as
a means to “perpetuate 16th-century tyranny”.
“By
sending a text notifying a male ‘guardian’ when a woman’s
national identification card or passport is used at an airport, the
app serves as [a] tracking device,” the Democrats noted in an
open letter.
“Keeping
this application in your stores allows your companies and your
American employees to be accomplices in the oppression of Saudi
Arabian women and migrant workers.”
The
letter added: “With a few taps of his finger on an app offered on
your companies’ app stores, a Saudi man can exert near total
control over the livelihood of these vulnerable migrant workers.”
Notable
signatories of the open letter include US House representatives
Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib.
Apple,
meanwhile, has said that it had not concluded its investigation of
Absher.
Riyadh defended
Absher and
said it provides services for “all members of the society…
including women, the elderly, and people with special needs”.

Jill
Stein de voormalige presidentskandidaat van de Green Party in de VS,
heeft in een paar punten duidelijk gemaakt dat het de VS niet gaat om
‘mensenrechtenschendingen’ of de armoede in Venezuela, dit door te
wijzen op andere situaties waar de VS totaal geen problemen heeft met
deze schendingen, zelfs als ze uitmonden in massamoorden……
Wat betreft armoede moet de VS zich al helemaal stilhouden, gezien de enorme armoede in dat gestolen land, waar 29 miljoen van de 40 miljoen arme mensen* niet eens een gezondheidsverzekering hebben…….
Jammer
dat Stein alleen terzijde in een Twitterbericht wijst op het feit dat
het de VS gaat om olie, terwijl Venezuela de op één na grootste
olievoorraad ter wereld bezit, waar Venezuela ook nog eens de beschikking
over heeft over een grote hoeveelheid coltan, een grondstof die wordt
gebruikt in de smartphone….. Beiden zaken waar de VS de beschikking over wil hebben…….
Als
voorbeelden voor het geen probleem hebben met (fascistische)
dictaturen of andere rechtse regimes, noemt Stein Colombia en
Honduras, die worden gesteund door de VS (waar de VS zelfs
verantwoordelijk is voor de coup van 2009 in Honduras….)…. Weer
een misser, waarom niet wijzen op het feit dat de VS de Saoedische
terreurcoalitie steunt bij het uitvoeren van een genocide in Jemen??
Een zaak waar de wereld echt van op de kop zou moeten staan, i.p.v.
de gebeurtenissen in Venezuela, NB één op één het gevolg van de
economische oorlog die de VS al jaren voert tegen dit land!!!
Wel een
goed voorbeeld van Stein is het met enorm veel geweld neerslaan van
protesten tegen het neoliberalisme door arme Venezolanen in 1989…… Protesten die de naam Caracazo
meekregen, protesten waarbij het destijds fascistische regime een
enorme slachting heeft aangericht, waarvan de naar schatting 300 tot 3.000
slachtoffers in massagraven werden gedumpt…… Caracazo was de
aanloop naar de grootste slachting uit de Venezolaanse geschiedenis,
aldus de schrijver Ed Sykes van het hieronder opgenomen artikel van The Canary.
Stein
zegt dat de VS totaal geen moeite had met deze slachting 30 jaar geleden in Venezuela en de andere
kant opkeek (vergelijk dit eens met de houding van de VS nu…),
terwijl Stein stelt dat de VS rechtse (en ronduit fascistische, Ap) regimes steunt, ziet ze blijkbaar
niet dat de VS ook voor deze slachting in Venezuela haar toestemming en wellicht
zelfs advies heeft gegeven aan de dictatuur hoe e.e.a. aan te pakken……
Stein
slaat de plank nog eens mis, door te wijzen op de arme Venezolanen
die geen eten zouden hebben en in het vuilnis naar voedsel zoeken,
iets waar ze terecht over zegt dat dit in de VS veelvuldig
gebeurt….. De beelden over honger en andere ellende in Venezuela
zijn onderdeel van de anti-Maduro propaganda…… Uiteraard zijn er
zware tekorten, echter al een paar maanden zijn het Rode Kruis en de
VN bezig met humanitaire hulp in Venezuela, dit met een hoeveelheid
humanitaire hulpgoederen die bewezen niet in de schaduw kan staan van
wat de VS klaar heeft staan over de grens van Venezuela en Brazilië……. (20 keer zoveel!)
Terecht
stelt Stein dat de VS de grote tekorten in Venezuela heeft
veroorzaakt, waar ze wijst op de huidige sancties, intussen
overgenomen door o.a. Canada en de EU……. Alweer jammer dat Stein
niet meldt dat de VS al voor de sancties bezig was met een boycot van
Venezuela wat betreft levensmiddelen en medicijnen, ook al was deze
boycot niet officieel, is het al lang duidelijk dat e.e.a. heeft
plaatsgevonden….. Zo heeft Hillary Clinton, als minister van BuZa
onder ‘vredesduif’ Obama, de VS supermarktketens met winkels in
Venezuela onder druk gezet de voorraden niet of anders mondjesmaat
aan te vullen, waar ze de grote farmaceuten onder druk zette
hetzelfde te doen met medicijnleveringen voor Venezuela……
Het
Canary artikel is wel degelijk van belang daar op een aantal
hypocriete zaken wordt gewezen, zoals het aanhalen van de opstand in
1989 en bijvoorbeeld de uitlating van de VN dat de VS sancties
verantwoordelijk zijn voor de doden die in Venezuela zijn
gevallen…… Jammer dat niet wordt aangegeven dat de doden door de
sancties, de chronisch zieken en terminaal zieken zijn, aangevuld met heel jonge slachtoffers, alles door gebrek aan medicijnen…..
Wat een
gemiste kans niet even te wijzen op het feit dat dezelfde VN en het
Rode Kruis beiden de VS veroordeelden voor het tot een politiek
drukmiddel maken van humanitaire hulp, terwijl deze organisaties
zoals gezegd allang volop humanitaire hulp verstrekken binnen de
grenzen van Venezuela……
Met haar
pleidooi geeft Stein de anti-propaganda van de VS en de reguliere
westerse massamedia deels gelijk, anders kan ik het niet zien…..
Nogmaals: het artikel is verder belangrijk genoeg om te belichten,
daar er wel degelijk wordt gewezen op het schunnige beleid van de VS
(en andere westerse landen) tegen in feite het Venezolaanse
volk……
Wel mooi
dat Stein in feite in 2 punten weergeeft hoe hypocriet de VS bezig
is.

Stein clobbers US warhawks with a perfect takedown of their
regime-change propaganda
Former
US Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein has been on fire
recently. In particular, she’s been putting
the mainstream US left to
shame with her vocal
opposition to
the US-backed coup
attempt in
Venezuela. This week, on the 30th anniversary of a notorious massacre
by a US-backed government in the country, she had a perfect takedown
of US warhawks. And we should all listen to her.
When
the US turned a blind eye to Venezuela’s biggest massacre
As
author George Ciccariello-Maher pointed out on 27 February:
30 years ago today in Venezuela: the mass rebellion against neoliberalism known as the Caracazo, which ended in the massacre of 300 to 3,000, most dumped in mass graves. Today, neoliberals claim the mantle of human rights as they try to do the same. Never forget!
And
Stein spread that message. In particular, she stressed how Washington
ignored the Caracazo (Venezuela’s biggest massacre
in the 20th century) just like it ignores the dire situations
in Colombia and Honduras today:
30 years ago Venezuela’s neoliberal gov’t brutally crushed a poor people’s uprising. US ignored it, just like it ignores political prisoners, targeted killings, & humanitarian crises in right-wing states like Colombia & Honduras. US cares about #Venezuela‘s oil, NOT human rights.
Colombia
and Honduras, of course, are US allies. Venezuela, on the other hand,
isn’t. And Washington has a long
history of
boosting far-right allies in Latin America while opposing anyone on
the left.
Seriously,
Washington? Stop taking the piss.
US
political elites have been obsessing over Venezuela’s crisis for
weeks now.
They’ve also been tightening
their chokehold on
Venezuela’s economy with more and more sanctions. As a former UN

the

Stein
isn’t falling for the warhawks’ propaganda and phoney concern,
though. Instead, she’s been pointing out that these same elites
have done precious nothing to end crises raging at home:
Isn’t it weird that Trump hasn’t done a thing to help 40M Americans in poverty, 29M without health insurance, 500K living on the streets, or entire cities without clean water… but suddenly he cares so much about humanitarian aid to #Venezuela that he’s willing to start a war?
Republicans seem concerned about a video of people in #Venezuela eating from the garbage. Strange – they’ve never done a thing to help over 500K homeless Americans! But if they really want to help Venezuelans, why not lift sanctions The Economist admitted will lead to starvation?
Isn’t it strange that Trump wants to ram through #Venezuela‘s border to “bring humanitarian aid to desperate people”, while his party wants to prosecute Americans who give water to refugees at our border? Almost like their “humanitarian aid” is just an excuse to incite a war.
Stein
has brilliantly cut through the bullshit that US warhawks have
been spewing for
weeks now. And she’s exposed and stressed two key points:
That
Washington picks and chooses which foreign crises to get angry
about, usually depending on whether the local governments are allies
or not.
That
Washington waxes lyrical about poverty abroad, but does next to
nothing to address the crisis of poverty and inequality at
home.
They’re
points that we all need to remember. And they’re points we need to
be throwing back into the face of anyone who’s calling
for illegal regime-change
efforts in Venezuela.

klokkenluiders hebben de toezichtcommissie van het huis van

congres daarin te kennen, gevoelige nucleaire technologie wil
doorsluizen naar Saoedi-Arabië…..
Saoedi-Arabië dat het overgrote deel van de bestaande islamitische
terreurorganisaties (waaronder Al Qaida en IS) steunt met geld,
wapens, munitie en militaire training…….
Saoedi-Arabië, hetzelfde soennitische land dat in eigen land minderheden als sjiieten vervolgt en dat in
buurland Jemen (voor het grootste deel sjiitisch) al een paar jaar
bezig is met de uitvoering van een genocide op die sjiitische bevolking…….
Saoedi-Arabië dat mensen voor futiliteiten en op grond van valse aangiften in het openbaar op een gruwelijke manier vermoordt……
Saoedi-Arabië dat volkomen lak heeft aan zelfs de meest simpele mensenrechten, zoals gelijkheid van man en vrouw…..
Als Saoedi-Arabië een atoombom weet te bemachtigen, of weet te fabriceren met de bemachtigde nucleaire technologie, is de kans groot dat deze daadwerkelijk gebruikt zal worden, bijvoorbeeld in buurland Jemen…… (waarom zou een land dat het blijkbaar normaal vindt een volk uit te moorden middels een genocide, kernwapens niet gebruiken??)
Het is
duidelijk dat men in de VS de weg volkomen kwijt is en dat is een
levensgevaarlijke ontwikkeling, zeker gezien de gewelddadige
psychopathische gekken die de Trump
administratie vormen…… Saoedi-Arabië van deze technologie voorzien is hetzelfde als een moordenaar de onderdelen van een pistool, inclusief de munitie, doen toekomen (uiteraard aangevuld met een gebruiksaanwijzing, al is die zonder die aanvulling ook simpel te bemachtigen, zeker voor een puissant rijk land als Saoedi-Arabië)

Claim Trump Trying to Transfer Nuke Technology to Saudi Arabia
(ZH) — The
House Oversight committee now chaired by Democrat Elijah Cummings
issued an interim
staff report after
several whistleblowers came forward “to
warn about efforts inside the White House to rush the transfer of
highly sensitive U.S. nuclear technology to Saudi Arabia in potential
violation of the Atomic Energy Act,”
spearheaded by Jared Kushner, according to a press
release by
the House Oversight Committee.
The
press release is in conjunction with
the announcement of an investigation into the allegations.
The
plan, which reportedly involved former White House National Security
Adviser Michael Flynn, Kushner and Trump fundraiser Thomas Barrack,
would see the development of “dozens of nuclear power plants” in
a “Middle East Marshall Plan” through IP3 – a private US
company which has “assembled
a consortium of US companies to build nuclear plants in Saudi
Arabia.”
The
whistleblowers allege that the efforts were made without review by
Congress “as required by law,” and may be ongoing to this day.
“The
whistleblowers who came forward have expressed significant concerns
about the potential procedural and legal violations connected with
rushing through a plan to transfer nuclear technology to Saudi
Arabia. They have warned of conflicts of interest among top
White House advisers that could implicate federal criminal statutes. They
have also warned about a working environment inside the White House
marked by chaos, dysfunction, and backbiting. And
they have warned about political appointees ignoring directives from
top ethics advisors at the White House who repeatedly and
unsuccessfully ordered senior Trump Administration officials to halt
their efforts.” -Interim Staff Report
According
to the report, efforts to transfer the sensitive US nuclear
technology to Saudi Arabia may
be accelerating following White House meetings last week ahead of
Jared Kushner’s planned visit to the Middle-Eastern country.
“The
Committee’s investigation is particularly critical because the
Administration’s efforts to transfer sensitive U.S. nuclear
technology to Saudi Arabia appear to be ongoing. On February
12, 2019, the President met with nuclear power developers at the
White House about sharing nuclear technology with countries in the
Middle East, including Saudi Arabia. In addition, next week Mr.
Kushner will be embarking on a tour of Middle Eastern
capitals—including Riyadh—to discuss the economic portion of the
Administration’s Middle East peace plan.” -Interim Staff
Report
The
report notes that the White House has failed to submit a report on
the murder of Washington
Post columnist
and political operative Jamal Khashoggi.
The
report indicates that there is now serious, bipartisan concern with
the Trump Administration’s efforts to transfer sensitive U.S.
nuclear technology to Saudi Arabia. For example, on October 31,
2018, Republican Senators Marco Rubio, Todd Young, Cory Gardner, Rand
Paul, and Dean Heller sent a letter to
President Trump urging him to “suspend talks related to a potential
civil nuclear cooperation agreement between the United States and
Saudi Arabia” due to “serious concerns about the transparency,
accountability, and judgment of current decisionmakers in Saudi
Arabia.”
The
report describes new
documents and communications between
White House officials, including former National Security Advisor
Michael Flynn, former Deputy National Security Advisor K.T.
McFarland, and former NSC Senior Director for Middle East and North
African Affairs Derek Harvey, as well as with Thomas Barrack,
President Trump’s personal friend of several decades and the
Chairman of his Inaugural Committee, and Rick Gates, President
Trump’s former Deputy Campaign Manager and Deputy Chairman of the
Inaugural Committee who has now pleaded guilty to financial fraud and
lying to investigators.
Today,
Cummings also sent letters to multiple entities involved with
promoting this plan, including the White House; the Departments of
Commerce, Defense, Energy, State, and Treasury; the Joint Chiefs of
Staff; the Central Intelligence Agency; Flynn Intel Group; IP3; ACU
Strategies; Colony NorthStar; and Mr. Barrack.
Tot slot nog dit: alles waar de VS en Saoedi-Arabië Iran van beschuldigen, wordt juist uitgevoerd door en Saoedi-Arabië en de VS, zoals:
het verspreiden van terreur
het zich bemoeien met binnenlandse aangelegenheden van soevereine staten
