Frontex is
een orgaan dat helpt bij het ‘beschermen van de EU buitengrenzen’. Leden
van FRONTEX die samenwerken met de Griekse kustwacht helpen
deze kustwacht bij het terugsturen van boten met vluchtelingen naar
Turkije, waarbij men geweld gebruikt en de boten met ten einde raad
zijnde vluchtelingen terug duwt dan wel trekt richting Turkse
kust…… Een enorme schending van het VN Vluchtelingenverdrag en
bovendien een mensenrechtenschending van grote proporties……….
De
directeur van FRONTEX is Fabrice Leggeri en deze
fascistische ploert weigert elke verantwoordelijkheid voor
misdragingen van zijn politionele organisatie die vooral in de Egeïsche Zee (ook
Icarische Zee genoemd) duidelijk fascistoïde trekken vertoont……..
Eén en ander terwijl onderzoek heeft uitgewezen dat deze Leggeri zelf op de hoogte was van misdragingen, maar deze onder het tapijt heeft geveegd…….. WeMove Europe heeft dan ook een petitie opgesteld waarin van de Europese Commissie wordt gevraagd Legerri te ontslaan.

New evidence shows that the EU’s border control agency is involved in rights abuses. Its Director knew about the violations and lied to our elected representatives.
There’s a
secretive and well-funded EU agency that’s trying to cover up
illegal activity in the Aegean Sea. Leading it is a man who acts like
he’s above the law.
That agency is
FRONTEX, the EU’s border control agency. Its Director, Fabrice
Leggeri, is personally implicated: he knew about the abuse and
violations of human rights and lied to Parliament. [1] Just
yesterday, he was grilled by MEPs again, but he’s refusing to
accept any responsibility and is resisting calls to resign. [2]
Journalists have
worked tirelessly to uncover the abuses. MEPs are calling for him to
resign. [3] Even FRONTEX officials themselves are leaking details of
violations! But the voices of outrage from citizens like us are
missing. Will you join me in calling on Leggeri to resign?
The
allegations are shocking: FRONTEX helped Greek border guards act
like pirates. They attacked migrants in unstable boats, forcing them
away from EU waters, to be left stranded at sea. The
investigations show FRONTEX also witnessed numerous other violent
incidents, and their officials (including Leggeri himself) tried to
cover them up. [4]

They are denying
responsibility, and refusing to acknowledge that FRONTEX took part in
any illegal action. [2] And they actually think they can get away
with it. But according to EU law, all people have the right to apply
for asylum, and we’re fighting for that right together, as a
community.
That’s why in
September we submitted a 67-page legal complaint to the EU Commission
asking that it act to end abuses and violence toward migrants.
[5] Most of the evidence we submitted referred to the same types of
human right abuses. The EU Commission acknowledged our complaint and
assigned us a case handler. But now that it’s clear FRONTEX is
directly involved, Leggeri has to go.
Even after Leggeri
is gone, huge problems with FRONTEX will remain. It has always
been a problematic organisation. It operates in a legal grey area
with no way to hold it to account. Getting rid of Leggeri can only be
a first step, but it’s a crucial one if we’re going to have any
chance of abolishing FRONTEX at all.
When we decided to
file our legal complaint to the EU Commission in September, we knew
we’d be in this campaign for the long-haul, until the EU
Commission acts to end abuses and violence toward migrants. Now that
it’s clear that FRONTEX itself is contributing to these exact
abuses, we have to face this challenge as well.

zin haalt ze met deze stelling haar gelijk, immers onze (westerse)

en wij laten dit gebeuren…..)……. We kijken nog wel even op als er een
spaarzaam bericht met bijvoorbeeld weer een waarschuwing van VN baas
Guterres volgt waarin hij de wereld wijst op het vreselijke lot
van de sjiitische bevolking van Jemen, maar vervolgen gewoon weer ons
dagelijkse leven na te hebben verzucht dat het vreselijk is wat er in
Jemen gebeurt……
Vreemd
dat Caitlin niet spreekt over genocide, terwijl die intussen al bijna
6 jaar gaande is en waarbij niet 233.000 mensen zijn overleden zoals
de VN inschat (een cijfer dat Caitlin aanhoudt), maar minstens 500.000, waaronder ten minste 100.000
kinderen……
Een
paar jaar geleden liet Rutte 3 en dan m.n. zijne VVD leeghoofdige hufterigheid
Blok (minister van BuZa) weten dat er geen sprake was van
wapenleveringen waarvoor hij een vergunning had afgegeven, maar van
wapenonderdelen en die vallen volgens de schoft niet onder de
wapenboycot tegen de reli-fascistische terreurstaat
Saoedi-Arabië…… Alleen daarvoor zou Blok al vervolgd moeten
worden door het Internationaal Strafhof (ICC), maar dat strafhof is
er vooral om gekleurde oorlogsmisdadigers te vervolgen……..
Zoals gezegd, het gaat niet alleen om de westerse politici die een
genocide mogelijk maken (terwijl ze na Rwanda stelden dat dit nooit
weer zou worden toegestaan….), maar ook wij zijn verantwoordelijk
daar we niet in opstand komen tegen onze inhumane neoliberale
regeringen voor wie geld verdienen belangrijker is dan mensenlevens,
zelfs als die levens van kinderen zijn……
Wat de VS aangaat is er al helemaal geen excuus meer, deze grootste terreurentiteit op aarde, steunt de Saoedische terreurcoalitie, zowel militair als middels wapenleveranties. Zo helpt de VS als Groot-Brittannië mee aan de genocide in Jemen, door het trainen van de Saoedische militairen, de VS gaat nog verder dan GB doordat het land meehelpt aan de zeeblokkade van havens die in handen zijn van de Houthi rebellen, zodat er geen voedsel, water,medicijnen en brandstof kan worden geleverd……. Het gaat hier om rebellen die het sjiitische volk proberen te beschermen tegen het grootschalige geweld van die terreurcoalitie…… Voorts is de VS af en aan met speciale troepen op Jemenitische bodem om te vechten tegen de Houthi’s…… Tot voor een paar jaar voorzag de VS het vliegend oorlogstuig van de terreurcoalitie van brandstof tijdens de vluchten (en dat gratis!!), zodat men zo effectief mogelijk kon bombarderen, voorts regelde de VS de coördinatie van de bombardementen met haar AWACS vliegtuigen en als ik me niet vergis doet de VS dat nog steeds…….
The
Trump administration is reportedly
close
to moving the Houthi rebels in Yemen onto its official list of
designated terrorist organizations with the goal of choking them off
from money and resources. The head
of the UN’s World Food Program
along with many
other experts caution
that this designation will prolong the horrific war which has claimed
over a quarter million lives and create an impenetrable barrier of
red tape stopping humanitarian aid from getting to the Yemeni people.
The
United Nations conservatively
estimates that
some 233,000 Yemenis have been killed in the war between the Houthis
and the US-backed Saudi-led coalition, mostly from what it calls
“indirect causes”. Those indirect causes would be disease
and starvation resulting from what UN Secretary-General Antonio
Guterres calls “the worst famine the world has seen for
decades”.
When
people hear the word “famine” they usually think of mass
hunger caused by droughts or other naturally occurring phenomena, but
in reality the starvation deaths we are seeing in Yemen (a huge
percentage of which are children
under the age of five)
are caused by something that is no more natural than the starvation
deaths you’d see in a medieval siege. They are the result of the
Saudi coalition’s use of blockades and its deliberate
targeting of
farms, fishing boats, marketplaces, food storage sites, and cholera
treatment centers with
airstrikes aimed at making the Houthi-controlled parts of Yemen so
weak and miserable that they break.
In
other words, the US and its allies have been helping Saudi Arabia
deliberately kill children and other civilians on mass scale in order
to achieve a political goal. Which would of course be a perfect
example of any standard definition of terrorism.

I never imagined that one day I will see children like this in #Yemen!
We
are the terrorists. Saudi Arabia, the US, the UK, Australia, Canada,
France and every other nation which has facilitated the horrific mass
atrocity in Yemen–this tight globe-spanning power alliance is a
terrorist organization the likes of which the world has never seen
before. The idea of the unfathomably savage and bloodthirsty US
empire designating the Houthis as a terrorist organization is the
least funny joke that has ever been told.
We
are the terrorists. I say “we” instead of our governments
because if we are honest with ourselves, we as a civilian population
are complicit in this slaughter. The horrors in Yemen are without
question the worst thing that is happening in the world right now,
yet they comprise barely a blip in our social consciousness. The
overwhelming majority of us have seen the pictures and videos of
starving Yemeni children, thought something along the lines of “Oh
a famine, that’s so sad” and gone back to thinking about sports
or whatever other insipid nonsense occupies most of our attention.
We
are the terrorists. Yes it is true that we have been propagandized
into our complicity with this terrorism and if the news media were
doing its purported job Yemen would be front and center in our
attention, but we are still complicit. We are still participating in
it, still living in a society that is woven of the fabric of
slaughter and brutality without rising up and using the power of our
numbers to force a change. Just because you are unaware that you
sleep on a bed of butchered children doesn’t mean you’re not lying in
it.

We

We
can begin waking up together. Waking up our friends and neighbors,
spreading consciousness of what’s going on, raising awareness of the
horrors our governments are perpetrating in Yemen and in other
nations in the name of imperialist domination, helping each other see
through the veils of propaganda to how much life and how many
resources are being spent on inflicting unspeakable acts of terror
upon our world instead of benefiting humanity.
The
US government could force an end to the horrors in Yemen almost
immediately if it really wanted to. If maintaining unipolar hegemony
were suddenly advanced by giving the Houthis victory in Yemen instead
of fighting to ensure Washington-aligned rule, the Saudis would
withdraw and the war would be over within days. We could make this
happen if we could spread enough awareness of the reality of what’s
happening in Yemen.

favor of a Biden vote that struck me as anything more than the product
of ignorance, propaganda distortion and partisan…
Break
the silence on Yemen. Pressure Biden to fulfil
his campaign pledge
to end the war which was initiated under the Obama-Biden
administration. Oppose US imperialism. Weaken public trust in the
mass media which refuse to give us a clear picture of what’s going on
in the world. Help people realize that their perception of reality is

eens hard werd getroffen door de Coronacrisis…. (logisch, daar
chronisch zieken, baby’s, peuters en ouderen al verzwakt waren als gevolg van de
illegale sancties die de VS Iran heeft opgelegd, waardoor het aantal
slachtoffers van COVID-19 snel is opgelopen, ofwel daarmee heeft de VS, als met de sancties tegen Venezuela [met als gevolg 50.000 doden], in feite een massamoord gepleegd en dat van een omvang die maar zelden met één terreuractie werd behaald……)
Eerder
werd generaal Qassem Soleimani door de VS vermoord, terwijl deze
generaal uiterst succesvol was in de bestrijding van ISIS en andere
terreurgroepen in Irak en Syrië, terreurgroepen inclusief ISIS die
werden en worden gesteund door de VS en andere NAVO-lidstaten,
waaronder Nederland (al is het niet duidelijk of Nederland via via
ISIS heeft gesteund, behoort het wel degelijk tot de mogelijkheden)
Opvallend ook dat de strijd van de VS tegen ISIS in Syrië bijna zonder succes was, anderhalf jaar lang zou de VS stellingen van ISIS
onder vuur hebben genomen en hebben gebombardeerd (nogmaals: zonder enig succes). Terwijl Rusland, dat te hulp werd geroepen door Assad, in een
paar maanden tijd grote winsten behaalde tegen ISIS en andere
terreurgroepen (met o.a. de hulp van Soleimani en de Koerden die al succes boekten tegen deze terreurgroep), iets waar de
reguliere media over zwegen en zwijgen, nee de VS zou ISIS hebben
verslagen, een leugen vanjewelste…… Het is zelfs zo zot dat in het
gebied van de Syrische olievelden die de VS illegaal bezet houdt, een
aantal terreurgroepen worden beschermd door de VS, onder die groepen
ook een fiks aantal ISIS strijders……

Dreams af of deze zonder meer laffe aanslag op atoomgeleerde Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, waarschijnlijk gepleegd door de Israëlische terreurorganisatie Mossad,niet een poging is om
Iran te verleiden een aanval te openen op Israël, wat Iran tot
dusver nooit heeft gedaan na aanslagen van de fascistische
terreurstaat….. Heel goed mogelijk, daar de VS onmiddellijk zal
ingrijpen als Iran een dergelijke aanval zal openen…… Vergeet
niet dat Iran raketten bezit waarmee het elke stad in Israël
deels kan platgooien…… De aanslag werd door de westerse media
verdedigd met de woorden dat Israël nu eenmaal bang is voor Iraanse
kernwapens, daar men keihard liegt dat Iran daarmee bezig is, zonder
enig bewijs daarvoor…. Als Iran Israël zo graag zou aanvallen
waarom heeft het dan niet allang ‘gewone raketten’ afgevuurd op
Israël….??? Kortom dat hele verhaal is een verzinsel om aanvallen
van Israël en de VS te legitimeren…..
Overigens zou ook de VS de aanslag kunnen hebben gepleegd, zoals ik gisteren in een ander bericht al opperde**,
Schande
dat de Europese Unie en haar lidstaten deze daad van grove en laffe
terreur niet veroordeeld hebben, blijkbaar gelden er andere regels
als de VS en/of Israël zich bezondigen aan terreur….. Ach onzin,
het is meer dan duidelijk dat de EU als de VS met twee maten meet en
schijt heeft aan een terreuraanslag in een land als Iran, terwijl men
hier hysterisch bijna massaal de vlag halfstok hangt als er in
West-Europa een terreuraanslag wordt gepleegd, die dan ook nog eens
zijn uitgelokt door de enorme grootscheepse terreur die de VS en de
rest van het westen hebben uitgestort en uitstorten over landen in
het Midden-Oosten, Afghanistan en Libië…….
Opperschoft
en fascistische psychopaat Trump heeft de aanslag toegejuicht, volkomen volgens verwachting, immers deze ploert heeft ook de moord op
Soleimani gelast, terwijl deze bij wijze van spreken in Irak bijna zij aan
zij met de VS heeft gevochten in de strijd tegen ISIS……
Al bakte de VS er ook daar niet veel van, wel heeft de VS de stad
Mosul bijna
helemaal plat gegooid, waarbij meer dan 40.000 burgers*** om het
leven zijn gekomen en waarbij de VS meermaals door de VN werd verzocht
te stoppen met de bombardementen, juist vanwege dat grote aantal
burgerslachtoffers, echter de VS had daar lak aan, zoals het later
ook Raqqa volledig in puin heeft gegooid en ook toen niet reageerde op dezelfde verzoeken van de VN…….

Assassination of Top Iranian Nuclear Scientist

Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, a leading
Iranian nuclear scientist, was assassinated Friday in a drive-by
shooting near the nation’s capital of Tehran.

Fakhrizadeh was hospitalized
following the shooting but doctors were unable
to save his life, according to news reports. Islamic
Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) accounts are alleging
the assassination was carried out by Mossad, the Israeli spy agency.
Demanding a swift response from the
international community, Javad Zarif, Iran’s top diplomat, tweeted
that “terrorists murdered an eminent Iranian scientist today.”
“This cowardice—with serious
indications of Israeli role—shows desperate warmongering of
perpetrators,” said Zarif. “Iran calls on the international
community—and especially [the European Union]—to end their
shameful double standards and condemn this act of state terror.”
First reported
by state media outlets and later confirmed
by the Iranian defense ministry, the killing of Mohsen Fakhrizadeh
comes amid simmering
fears of a military attack on Iran by the U.S. or Israel.
American and Israeli officials have for years claimed, without
evidence, that Iran is developing a nuclear weapon.
Earlier this month, according
to the New York Times,
U.S. President Donald Trump asked his advisers to provide him with
options to bomb Iran’s primary nuclear site. And earlier this week, Axios reported
that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) “have in recent weeks been
instructed to prepare for the possibility that the U.S. will conduct
a military strike against Iran before President Trump leaves office”
in January.
A secretive
meeting late Sunday between U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo,
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and Saudi Crown Prince
Mohammed bin Salman only served to intensify warnings that some kind
of attack on Iran could be imminent. One unnamed Saudi source told Middle East Eye
that “Netanyahu was advocating hitting Iran” during the
meeting.
While it remains unclear who was
behind the attack, Trita Parsi of the Quincy Institute for
Responsible Statecraft argued
that “Israel is a prime suspect because of a few factors: It has
the expertise and capacity. It has done it before. It has the
motivation.”
“Conducting attacks in Iran
has few down-sides for Israel right now,” Parsi tweeted. “Either
Iran lashes out and sparks a broader conflict that sucks in the U.S.,
bringing about a U.S.-Iran confrontation that Netanyahu long has
sought.”
Hours after the assassination,
Trump retweeted
a post calling Fakhrizadeh’s killing “a major psychological and
professional blow for Iran.”
Sina Toossi, senior research
analyst at the National Iranian American Council, called the U.S.
president’s move an “implicit approval if there ever was one.”

assassinated to date,” noted Ali Arouzi, Tehran correspondent
for NBC News.

Around the time reports of the
assassination began circulating Friday, Hossein Salami, head of the
IRGC, tweeted:
“The assassination of nuclear scientists is the most obvious
violent confrontation of the imperialist system to prevent us from
gaining access to modern science.”
Ryan Costello, policy director of
NIAC, described the assassination as “yet another reckless step
that appears intended to poison the well for negotiations under a
Biden administration and set the stage for war.”
“Assassinations, sabotage,
sanctions, and military confrontation have all accelerated the U.S.
and Iran on the path to war as well as resulted in an expanding
Iranian nuclear program,” Costello said in a statement.
“The killing of military men and scientists will only result in
their replacement and Iran accelerating their pursuit of credible
deterrents.”

Het
westen dat zo’n grote bek heeft over mensenrechtenschendingen, over
etnische zuivering, over misdaden tegen de menselijkheid, over het
vermoorden van ongewapende demonstranten, kijkt uiterst hypocriet weg
van deze terreur die gepaard gaat met alles waar het westen zogenaamd
tegen is…….. Sterker nog: westerse politici en media doen commentaar als dat van mij af als antisemitisme, terwijl dit niets met Jodenhaat te maken heeft, maar alles met kritiek op ronduit fascistisch geweld, dat overal ter wereld bestreden moet worden, maakt niet uit wie zich schuldig maakt aan dergelijk geweld!!

– The Civil Administration gave the families living in the
Palestinian hamlet of Khirbet Humsa in the northern Jordan Valley
just 10 minutes to remove their possessions from the tents last
Tuesday. Fatma Awawda, 23, held her 1-year-old daughter Larin. She
was paralyzed by the sight of the military jeeps and administration
workers in fluorescent vests who got out of them, by the bulldozers,
by the soldiers, by all the shouting.
But
she pulled herself together quickly so she could empty as much as
possible from the tent that was her home. What to take first? The gas
canister? The cradle? Clothing and blankets? The mattresses? The
stove? The plastic toys that arrived in a “CARE” package? The
onions and potatoes? The rice? She put Larin down in the back seat of
the family’s beat-up Subaru. She’ll be warm and safe there, and
I’ll have my hands free, she figured.
Larin
wasn’t the only one to be put in the car for shelter: Four newborn
lambs, too young still to be sent to the hills with the older sheep,
were placed in the trunk. After a while, one of the Civil
Administration workers took the bundled baby girl out of the car and
handed her to one of the adults. The keys were in the car. A soldier
got in and started driving. The lambs were still in the trunk.
“The
men started running after the car, shouting at the soldier to stop,”
Awawda said on Friday, three days after the
demolition order was carried out, leaving 11 families – 74
people, including 41 children – homeless. The lambs were rescued.
The car was confiscated.
Another
toddler, two years old, wet her pants while watching the bulldozer
strike the makeshift structures that were her home. The children’s
wails were drowned out by the noise of the demolition. Two and a
half-year-old Mohammed shouted at a soldier, “Go away, go away!”
His mother, Ansar Abu al-Kabash, said her cousin was born just the
day before. “She doesn’t have a name yet. During the demolition I
sat my sister-in-law down on the side, with the baby in her arms.
They’ve gone somewhere else now. They couldn’t stay here in the
tent they gave us in the middle of all the junk.”
On
Friday, her 4-year-old son Ismail had yet to calm down and kept
crying. Mohammed was still fuming. Their 3-month-old sister Hadil,
laying in a small crib in the emergency tent the family received,
seemed to pick up on their unhappiness and added her own angry cries.
In
terms of the number of people made homeless, this is the largest
demolition operation carried out by the Civil Administration since
2010. In terms of the number of structures that were torn down, it is
the most extensive demolition operation since 2016, knocking down 11
tents and huts used as living quarters, 29 tents and shelters for
sheep (about 1,000 animals), plus 10 sheep pens, three sheds, nine
tents used as kitchens, 10 portable toilets, two solar panels, 23
water tanks, plus stalls and feeding troughs for the sheep.
Precious
water was spilled. Sacks of animal feed were ruined. Two tractors and
Awawda’s Subaru were confiscated. The statement from the
Coordinator of Government Activity in the Territories about “an
enforcement action against seven tents and eight animal pens” bore
no resemblance to the actual scale of destruction.
Some
of the Humsa residents say the convoy of military jeeps appeared at
10 in the morning. Others think it was at 11. Some remember seeing
six bulldozers and diggers, others think there were four. Some say
the demolition force made its first stop at the second of four tent
encampments that made up this community of shepherds. The encampments
are spread out from west to east, with about two kilometers
separating them. Others say the force came to the third encampment
and then split up.
But
all remember that the first thing the men of the community did was to
run to all the corrals and get the sheep out to the surrounding
hills. “The problem is that it’s the lambing season,” Abu
al-Kabash said. “What will happen to the lambs? Where will we keep
them? How will we take care of them?”
Some
of the sheep gave birth afterwards in the hills. Finding shelter for
the sheep and newborn lambs was the most urgent task, because the
families’ livelihood depends on the sheep. It’s their way of
life, one they will not give up.
The
search for grazing areas is what brought the Awawda and Abu al-Kabash
families, originally from the village of Samu’a in the southern
Hebron Hills, to the northern Jordan Valley. The northern migration
began in the 1970s and 1980s, when the grazing lands near Samu’a
and Yatta began to shrink and access became more difficult due to
military bans and Israeli construction. In 1948, the families from
Samu’a already lost a large chunk of their land that was left on
the Israeli side of the Green Line. Due to population growth, the
limited water supply Israel permits to the Palestinians, increasing
drought and expanding settlements, more sheep breeders from Samu’a
moved north to the Jenin and Tubas area.
The
Abu al-Kabash and Awawda families lease land owned by people from
Tamun and Tubas. On this land they erected their simple dwellings,
and there they also grow wheat and barley for their own needs.
But
Israel declared the area a “firing
zone” and that is COGAT’s* explanation for the massive
demolition, as it has been for many of the recent
demolitions and restrictions imposed by Israel on Palestinian
construction and movement in the West Bank. Firing Zone 903 alone,
where Humsa is, took 80,000 dunams (about 20,000 acres) of land from
Palestinians in the northern West Bank. Since 2018, the residents of
Humsa have had to evacuate at least 20 times due to military
exercises in the area. “Israel didn’t leave us any land to plant.
Without our sheep, we’ll become beggars,” says Yusef Abu Awad.
“Israel does not want us to have our own source of income. It wants
us to work for the Israelis.”
The
demolition of each encampment lasted about half an hour.
Sixty-year-old Aisha Abu al-Kabash, Ansar’s mother-in-law, who has
difficulty walking, says the Civil Administration workers removed
some of the contents of her tents in the second encampment. Whatever
they didn’t remove was demolished or buried under the tents’
remains. Umm Walid al-Kabash, from the third encampment, says through
tears: “If only they had informed us ahead of time. We would have
been able to save more things. The taboun for baking bread was also
destroyed.”
Relatives
of the Humsa residents who live not far away tried to drive over and
see what was going on as soon as they heard, but were stopped by
soldiers. Their children crossed the hills on foot to get closer to
the scene. Photographers were also stopped by soldiers, so there is
no footage of the demolition itself. Only the mute testimony of the
tumble of debris: mounds of rods and creased canvas, sheets of
plywood, netting, simple furnishings, fabrics, playpens (since
Tuesday these were put inside the emergency tents that were donated
to the community), kernels of corn (food for the sheep) scattered on
the ground. The families hastened to wrap their food and some of
their belongings in thick sheets of plastic to protect them from the
rain that began falling that night.
After
scenes of the extensive demolition were publicized, on Friday a large
EU delegation came to view the site. The foreign ministries of
Belgium, Britain, Ireland and Luxembourg issued condemnations and
said the demolition was in violation of international law. But Ansar
said: “What’s new here? They don’t know what Israel is? They
don’t know that Israel wants to get rid of us and bring more
settlers here instead?”

De aanstelling van Michele Flournoy als
minister van defensie (lees: oorlog), bejubeld
als voorbeeld voor gelijkheid van man en vrouw*, heeft niets van doen met
feminisme, zo betoogt Caitlin Johnstone volkomen terecht in een artikel over deze
aanstelling, de kop boven haar artikel luidt dan ook: ‘This Isn’t
Feminism, It’s Imperialism In Pumps’.
Flournoy
heeft een heel smerige geschiedenis achter zich bij het Pentagon en ‘zou een baken
zijn geweest voor internationale militaire samenwerking’ (o.a. in
hulp bij militaire staatsgrepen in het buitenland)…… Onder Obama
heeft Flournoy een topfunctie vervuld op dat Pentagon en als zodanig
is ze medeverantwoordelijk voor de coup in Honduras tegen de democratisch gekozen president Zelaya en die in Oekraïne
tegen de democratisch gekozen* president Janoekovytsj…… Voorts is de VS mede verantwoordelijk voor de illgele oorlog tegen Libië, die dat eens rijkste land van Afrika in diepe ellende heeft gestort zodat het nu tot de armste landen van dat continent behoort…… Ofwel
‘feminist’ Flournoy staat tot ver over de pumps in het bloed van mensen die zijn
omgekomen door VS ingrijpen in die periode…….
Caitlin
ergert zich aan de kwalificaties die Flournoy worden toegedicht, zo
zou haar gematigde (‘moderate’) zienswijze steun verzekeren van beide partijen
(Democraten en Republikeinen, Ap) en dat in een positie die door
de senaat moet worden goedgekeurd……. (de senaat die vooralsnog in
handen is van de Republikeinen en dat hoogstwaarschijnlijk zal
blijven)
Het
woord ‘gematigd’ in samenhang met Michele Flournoy is als de
gematigdheid van de zogenaamde gematigde rebellen in Syrië, die
het westen zo bejubelde (zowel in politiek als media), maar die uiteindelijk moordenaars, verkrachters,
martelbeulen en slavenhandelaars/houders bleken te zijn…..
(overigens werden mensen die dit van meet af aan stelden afgedaan als
Assad propagandisten door die westerse politiek en media….)…..
Flournoy
is een bloeddorstige en oorlogswinstmaker aldus Caitlin, die teven de
uitspraak van Medea Benjamin en Nicholas JS Davies aanhaalt die haar
een ‘angel of death’ noemen en die als leider van het ministerie met
de belachelijke aanduiding ‘defensie’ (lees: oorlog) het overzicht zal hebben over
dezelfde agenda van haar voorgangers, de eenzijdige globale
overheersing van de VS, die verantwoordelijk was en is voor rivieren
gevuld met bloed en dat min of meer op dezelfde manier als die
voorgangers…… Niet zo vreemd als je nagaat dat Joe Biden al ver
voor de verkiezingen de Trump administratie slapheid verweet in het
optreden tegen staten als Iran en Venezuela…… Terwijl de immense
terreur van de Trump administratie in de vorm van sancties al enorm
veel doden heeft gekost, in Venezuela zou dit al aan 50.000
mensen het leven hebben gekost…… Als je die terreur
afschildert als slapheid is er van Biden maar één ding te
verwachten: oorlog tegen die landen!!!
Caitlin stelt in haar artikel uiterst sarcastisch (maar alweer volkomen terecht) dat ‘de VS trots mag zijn’, er komt een intersectioneel kabinet met vrouwen die o.a massamoordenaar zijn………. Uiteraard gaat ze verder in op de rol man en vrouw en wat dit betekent in de dagelijkse politieke en ambtelijke praktijk.

word “moderate” which the AP news agency keeps bleating is
of course complete nonsense. Standing in the middle ground between
two corporatist warmongering parties does not make you a moderate, it
makes you a corporatist warmonger. Flournoy is no more “moderate”
than the “moderate rebels” in Syria which mass media
outlets like AP praised for years until it became undeniable that
they were largely
Al Qaeda affiliates;
the only reason such a position can be portrayed as mainstream and
moderate is because vast fortunes have been poured into making it
that way.
As
we discussed
recently,
Flournoy is a bloodthirsty imperialist and war profiteer who peace
activists Medea Benjamin and Nicolas JS Davies
accurately labeled
an “angel of death” for the American empire. As leader of
the laughably titled Department of “Defense” she can be
expected to oversee the same agendas of unipolar global domination at
the expense of rivers of blood as her predecessors, in more or less
exactly the same ways.
There
is nothing special or noteworthy about a murderous ghoul rising to
the top of a war machine that can only be run by murderous ghouls.
But because Michele Flournoy is a woman, we will see her appointment
as “Defense” Secretary applauded and upheld as a major
landmark for women by a political/media class which has never cared
about women beyond their ability to turn the gears of the machine.
And
of course establishment narrative managers are already greasing the
wheels for that applause.

clear this up before the girl power parade starts:the first woman to
head the US war machine will not be a groundbreaking pioneer of
feminist achievement. She will be a mass murderer who wears Spanx.
Her appointment will not be an advancement for women, it will be
imperialism in pumps.
Modern
mainstream feminism has abandoned women’s interests so thoroughly and
completely in almost all spheres of importance that it has largely
become only superficially distinct from the patriarchy it purports to
oppose. The plight of mothers, elderly women, young girls, caregivers
and wives have been almost entirely shuffled out of popular
discourse, with focus instead shifted onto discussions about whether
women are being adequately rewarded for their service to the God of
Capitalism, or how they’re just as qualified as men to murder
thousands of people at a time.
Instead
of fighting to correct the societal imbalances which have resulted
from millennia of male domination of society, mainstream feminism now
promotes and applauds the very worst aspects of those imbalances.
Instead of fighting to help women out of the impossible situation
where they’re expected to simultaneously be successful capitalists
and good mothers in an economic system where families can’t survive
on a single income and children and the elderly are being neglected,
we’re getting headlines about murderous warmongers “breaking
barriers” and think pieces about how women
should be allowed to inherit dukedoms.
In
a system where dominant cultural narratives are always
being deliberately twisted
toward the advantage of the powerful, healthy collective impulses
consistently wind up being diverted and corrupted until they find
themselves unwittingly serving the very forces they set out to push
back against. Movements toward racial equality have been twisted into
support for the Democratic Party whose austerity policies and legal
authoritarianism disproportionately hurt racial minorities worse than
anyone else. Movements to elect a Democratic Socialist get funneled
into support for the idiotic Russia conspiracies of the #Resistance.
Movements to fight patriarchy wind up amplifying the most unhealthy
aspects of patriarchy.
A
true feminism would work toward a reversal of all the unhealthy
aspects of society which were put there by social engineers without
any input from women.
All
around the world for thousands of years, wherever a civilization
sprang up, the larger, stronger gender was naturally in a position to
assert dominance over the way that civilization was run. Leadership
systems were invented by men, social hierarchies were invented by
men, marriage was invented by men, family structural norms were
designed by men, money was invented by men, war was invented by men,
and men invented religions which just so happened to have patriarchal
gods who all agreed that the way men had set things up was indeed
right and just.
Women
were essentially property throughout most of this, and thus had very
little input into how any of it was set up. Generation after
generation after generation of women were born into this
male-engineered society, over thousands and thousands of years, into
a system so deeply and extensively normalized that it’s almost
impossible to imagine what our society might look like had it not
been dominated entirely by men throughout its history.
And
then, very, very recently in the grand scheme of things, a healthy
impulse emerged among women to cease being second-class citizens, and
to instead stand as equals with their brothers.
In
response, after much whining and foot-dragging, the men who ran
things said in effect, “Right. Okay. You want equality? Fine. The
jobs we invented are over there, the capitol building for the
government we invented is over there, the bank for the economic
system we invented is across the street, the Department of War is two
blocks that way, and the Church of the Patriarchal God is around the
corner. Welcome to equality!”
And
some rich guys standing by watching leaned in and whispered to each
other, “Sweet, double the workforce! We can halve their wages!”

We
should not be cheering for women rising to the top of a psychopathic
war machine. We should be dismantling that war machine and rolling
back all the conditions which led to it.
True
feminism, which is interested in guiding the world toward balance and
heath in a way that benefits women and their children, would make
this a priority.
Push
against the celebrations of women being elevated to positions which
go directly against the interests of women. Do not let mass murder
and psychopathy become the landmark for success in the kind of world
we are creating for our daughters. Oppose this madness and push for
the kind of world we all know deep down we ought to have.

Volgens ‘ingewijden’ zal er ongetwijfeld meer geld worden vrijgemaakt voor Interpol en zal men dit orgaan meer bevoegdheden toekennen (zoals bijna elke lidstaat na aanslagen hun geheime diensten en politiekorpsen meer geld geven en meer bevoegdheden geven….) Ook bespreekt men hoe de afzonderlijke landelijke politiekorpsen van de EU-lidstaten beter kunnen samenwerken…..

Voorts gaat e.e.a. ‘natuurlijk’ over de grensbewaking tussen onderlinge EU-lidstaten en de verhouding met het Verdrag van Schengen….. Het is vrijwel zeker dat er weer meer geld vrijgemaakt zal worden om de buitengrenzen beter te bewaken, alsof eerdere geldinjecties ook maar een millimeter verschil uitmaakten met de situatie daaraan voorafgaand (en men wel op tijd figuren die kwaad willen van de straat haalt….)….
Het woord censuur wordt in dat soort conferenties gemeden als de pest, terwijl men wel degelijk censuur op het internet wil invoeren als het gaat ‘om radicale moslim-sites…….’ En nee, men wenst niets te doen tegen het beledigen van de islam, daar spreekt men plotsklaps wel over ‘de vrijheid van meningsuiting……’ (je kan zeggen dat wij nu eenmaal al decennialang onze christelijke godsdienst hebben bespot en bespotten, echter dat betekent niet dat je willens en wetens de islam moet beledigen, waar de meeste moslims, wat betreft hun godsdienst en het denken daarover, fiks achterlopen op het grootste deel van de bevolkingen in westerse landen)……

Er zal zeker niet gesproken worden over het feit dat telkens weer blijkt dat de daders van terreuraanslagen al bekend waren bij geheime diensten (en vaak genoeg ook bij de politie), men deze figuren bij wijze van spreken in het vizier had en dat deze figuren desondanks een aanslag wisten te plegen…….
Ook zal er niet gesproken worden over de grootschalige westerse terreur in diverse moslimlanden als Afghanistan, Irak, Syrië en Libië, wat de laatste betreft ook nog eens in een paar andere islamitische landen in Afrika (waar vooral de VS tekeergaat……..) Bij die terreur zijn alleen deze eeuw al meer dan 2,5 miljoen mensen (moslims) omgekomen en als je denkt dat alle nabestaanden depressief in een hoek gaan zitten, heb je het mis, natuurlijk zitten daar genoeg nabestaanden tussen die wraak wensen te nemen…… Vreemd trouwens dat de westerse media die op tilt slaan na een aanslag in een westers land, totaal niet met opgeklopte reacties komen als een westerse geallieerde in zo’n moslimland een bruiloft of begrafenis opblaast, alsof dat geen terreur is, hetzelfde geldt voor de seriemoorden met VS drones (tot in Pakistan) van mensen die men verdenkt van terreurdaden en waarbij meer dan 90% van de slachtoffers niet eens werd verdacht, dus veelal vrouwen en kinderen…… (alweer alsof dat geen terreur is….)
Wanneer worden de westerse bevolkingen eindelijk wakker uit hun comateuze slaap en zullen ze eisen dat hun afzonderlijke regeringen stoppen met het uitoefenen van grootschalige terreur in landen waar men niets, maar dan ook helemaal niets te zoeken heeft….???
Bij de aanslagen gisteravond in Wenen zijn naar nu bekend is 5 mensen vermoord, meer dan 12 mensen zouden levensgevaarlijk gewond zijn…… Volgens de Oostenrijkse pers zouden er in Wenen op 6 plaatsen tegelijk aanslagen zijn gepleegd…….
De enige dader die men heeft is een door de politie doodgeschoten jongen van 20 jaar, die bekend was bij de Oostenrijkse politie en geheime dienst als een gevaarlijke jihadist die niet onder stoelen of banken stak dat hij een bewonderaar was van terreurgroep ISIS en zelfs gevangen heeft gezeten vanwege terrorisme….. Ofwel alweer een dader van een terreuraanslag die minstens door de geheime dienst (en waarschijnlijk ook door de politie) ‘in de gaten werd gehouden’ (tussen aanhalingstekens daar men ondanks dat feit niet kon voorkomen dat hij meedeed aan wat de Oostenrijkse politie gedegen voorbereidde aanslagen noemt…..)
Zoals gewoonlijk ook nu weer internationale steunbetuigingen voor het Oostenrijkse volk en haar bestuurders.

Bundespräsident Frank-Walter Steinmeier kontaktierte den
österreichischen Bundespräsidenten Alexander van der Bellen, sprach ihm
nach dem Anschlag sein Beileid aus. “Die erschreckenden Nachrichten über
die nächtlichen Anschläge in der Wiener Innenstadt mit mehreren Toten
und vielen Verletzten sind in Deutschland mit Bestürzung und großer
Anteilnahme aufgenommen worden”, sagte Steinmeier. “Wir hoffen mit
Ihnen, dass es der Polizei rasch gelingen möge, alle Täter alsbald zu
fassen und weitere Gewalttaten zu verhindern.” Er
betonte, dass er “diese abscheuliche Gewalt” verurteilt. “Wir werden vor
ihr und vor dem Hass, der sie treibt, nicht zurückweichen”, schreibt er
weiter. Deutschland stehe im Kampf gegen Extremismus und Terrorismus an
der Seite Österreichs.
Wel steunbetuigingen maar zoals gewoonlijk geen aandacht voor de oorzaak van deze aanslagen: de vreselijke westerse terreur in het Midden-Oosten, Afghanistan, Libië en andere landen in Afrika zoals Soedan, daarnaast moet ook Pakistan nog genoemd worden waar de VS regelmatig met drones verdachten vermoord, moorden waarbij meer dan 90% van de slachtoffers niet eens werd verdacht dus veelal vrouwen en kinderen…….De reguliere westerse media melden voor het overgrote deel al niet eens meer als er bij westers geweld mensen worden vermoord in die landen, terwijl diezelfde media op tilt springen als er in het westen mensen worden vermoord door jihadstrijders…………..
Over de slachtoffers van de grootschalige westerse terreur gesproken: waarom worden deze slachtoffers nooit betreurd door hoogwaardigheidsbekleders, terwijl in de genoemde landen een veel groter aantal mensen werd en wordt vermoord dan in de EU door ‘islamitische terroristen…..?’ Laat staan dat men als steunbetuiging laat weten dat men solidair is in de strijd tegen die terreur….. Ja ik weet ‘t, logisch daar die westerse hoogwaardigheidsbekleders zelf verantwoordelijk zijn voor die terreur……
Onmiddellijk werd vanmorgen in Oostenrijk gepleit voor meer bevoegdheden en geld voor politie en geheime diensten……. Alsof men daarmee wel al bekende terreurstrijders kan tegenhouden, als men laks is met het volgen van deze figuren, vergeet niet dat de meeste geheime diensten van EU-lidstaten de laatste 19 jaar (na 9/11) al veel meer geld en bevoegdheden kregen (bevoegdheden die ten koste zijn gegaan van het recht op privacy en andere burgerrechten….) Ook na andere aanslagen in de EU kregen die geheime diensten meer bevoegdheden en geld….. Ondanks dat alles kan men nog steeds geen aanslagen voorkomen van mensen die men al lang in ‘het vizier’ heeft gehouden………
Om van ‘islam terreur’ af te komen moet het westen zich als de sodemieter terugtrekken uit landen waar het niets, maar dan ook helemaal niets te zoeken heeft, stop met het volgen van de grootste terreurentiteit ter wereld: de VS, een land dat op basis van enorme leugens de ene illegale oorlog na de andere start en daar NB nog geld aan verdient ook, althans geld voor bedrijven uit de VS en ja voor dat bedrijfsleven behartigen de opvolgende regeringen in de VS ‘de zaken……..’

Vorige week zaterdag was het precies 10 jaar geleden dat Wikileaks de door
Chelsea Manning gelekte documenten publiceerde over de illegale oorlog van de VS
tegen Irak. Op die dag kon de wereld zien hoe smerig en
groot de VS terreur was (en deels nog is) die op het volk van Irak werd
uitgeoefend…….. Een oorlog die in 2003 begon en in feite nog
steeds gaande is, vandaar ook dat er niet 1 miljoen mensen zijn
omgekomen door die terreur (zoals in het artikel hieronder wordt gesteld), maar eerder 2 miljoen Irakezen het leven
hebben gelaten……. Ofwel die mensen zijn vermoord door
de 2 grootste verantwoordelijken destijds: VS president George W. Bush en de Briste premier Tony Blair en dat met hulp van een
aantal andere NAVO-lidstaten, waaronder Nederland…..
Oorlogsmisdaden,
misdaden tegen de menselijkheid en grove mensenrechtenschendingen
begaan in Irak staan sinds die tijd tot ieders beschikking. Totaal onbegrijpelijk dan ook dat de reguliere westerse (massa-) media niet
de 2 grootste verantwoordelijke terroristen in deze, George W. Bush
en Tony Blair aan de spreekwoordelijke paal hebben genageld, maar
klokkenluider Chelsea Manning en de boodschapper:
onderzoeksjournalist Julian Assange…… Alsof die 2
verantwoordelijk zijn voor dat enorme aantal doden en niet de 2
eerder genoemde bloedige rotschoften……
De
reguliere westerse media hebben in deze de VS gevolgd, waar men
keihard loog dat Assange en Manning mensen in gevaar hebben gebracht
met hun openbaringen, terwijl diezelfde VS een enorm dossier aan
leugens heeft opgebouwd, zoals de leugen dat Irak
massavernietigingswapens zou hebben en daar de VS en Groot-Brittannië
mee zou willen aanvallen (als je dat weer in ogenschouw neemt snap je
zelfs niet dat er ook maar één persoon met een goed stel werkende
hersenen deze baarlijke en meer dan belachelijke nonsens heeft
geloofd…)…. Ook deze leugen werd door de westerse media uit en te
na verdedigd, zelfs de NRC bij monde van de ‘beste journalist van de
20ste eeuw’, Henk Hofland droeg deze leugen ‘met passie’ uit……
Ondanks dat iedereen al jaren weet dat e.e.a een enorme leugen is, heeft geen
mediaorgaan een rectificatie geplaatst voor de enorme diarree aan
leugens die men voorafgaand aan en tijdens die oorlog heeft gebracht (en nog brengt),
integendeel deze leugen wordt verzwegen en men doet in die media nog steeds of die oorlog
gerechtvaardigd en onvermijdelijk was….. (de Nederlandse verantwoordelijke CDA oorlogsmisdadiger de Hoop Scheffer mag zelfs les geven aan een universiteit….)
Met
de openbaringen in Wikileaks is zelfs niet 1 persoon in gevaar
gebracht en toch worden Manning en Assange gedemoniseerd in die
westerse media, waar men Assange zelfs durft uit te maken voor
charlatan……. Als er 1 journalist is die de afgelopen 10 jaar de
ene na de andere persprijs zou hebben moeten ontvangen is het Assange
wel!!
Voor
het Internationaal Strafhof (ICC) worden vooral figuren uit Afrika
veroordeeld, terwijl de grootste terreurstaten die de vreselijkste
misdaden hebben begaan, de VS en haar trouwe oorlogshond in de vorm
van NAVO-lidstaten met rust worden gelaten, terwijl die landen deze
eeuw al 2,5 miljoen mensen over de kling hebben gejaagd…… (al zou
het ICC nu wel bezig zijn met onderzoek naar oorlogsmisdaden door de
VS begaan in Afghanistan)
Lees
het relaas van Tommy Sheridan, waarin hij o.a. over de vader van
Julian Assange spreekt die onvermoeid de wereld rondreist om de
waarheid over zijn zoon te vertellen. De westerse media moeten zich
doodschamen dat ze een zo voortreffelijke collega hebben
gedemoniseerd en dat alweer op basis van leugens…… Terecht merkt
Sheridan dan ook op, dat er geen onafhankelijke media zijn, ze zijn
in handen van plutocraten die geen belang hebben bij de waarheid als
het om mensenrechten, misdaden tegen de menselijkheid en
oorlogsmisdaden gaat……. (behalve als deze worden begaan door
staten die men niet mag, waar ook daarover in de dagelijkse
‘werkelijkheid’ keihard wordt gelogen zie de berichtgeving over Iran,
Rusland en China…..) Wat betreft politici die deze westerse terreur
steunden en steunen: deze zouden ook vervolgd moeten worden door het ICC, immers
zij zijn mede verantwoordelijk voor de enorme ellende die het westen
elders heeft aangericht en aanricht……… Echter je snapt het al: dat zal niet gebeuren, zelfs niet als pinksteren, pasen en de kerst op één dag vallen!!

Clearing House”
– Ten years ago today the courage of two individuals changed the way
millions view the world. A US soldier disgusted at the communications
they were reading about their country’s conduct after illegally
invading and occupying the sovereign nation of Iraq in 2003 leaked
thousands of communications confirming US war crimes to Wikileaks.
The
site had been set up in 2006 to precisely shine a light on the dark
manoeuvres of powerful nations. Chelsea Manning risked imprisonment
by exposing war crimes. Julian Assange risked imprisonment by
publishing those leaked files and exposing the lies and heinous
crimes against humanity committed by the United States government and
military.
Yesterday I had the
honour and privilege of interviewing
the father of Julian Assange in Edinburgh for Sputnik radio on
the eve of this tenth anniversary of the release of the Iraq war
logs. John Shipton was articulate and passionate in defence of his
son who has been in enforced incarceration within the Ecuadorian
embassy for seven years and is now locked up in the maximum-security
prison HMP Belmarsh while awaiting the outcome of a rigged
extradition show trial that was conducted in London’s High Court
over five weeks last month.
John sat through that
travesty of justice and witnessed his son’s incredible stoicism and
bravery as a cacophony of manufactured lies was presented as the US
State case to justify forcibly transferring Julian to America to face
charges under the never used 103-year-old law called the Espionage
Act. Given the Niagara Falls of lies and distortions about Julian
Assange promoted and promulgated by the US, UK, Australian and
Swedish governments over the last decade a fair trial in America is
impossible. Julian Assange would inevitably be found guilty in a
biased US courtroom and sentenced to 175 years in a dangerous
high-security prison where his personal safety would never be
guaranteed.
Julian
Assange Exposed Government Crimes Not Government Secrets
The Espionage Act was
introduced in 1917 to deter traitors from revealing government
secrets which endangered the security of America. Julian Assange is
not guilty of exposing US government secrets, he is ‘guilty’ of
exposing US government war crimes. He and Chelsea Manning do not
deserve prison sentences, they deserve awards for performing
essential humanitarian and journalistic duties. They revealed to the
world the brutal truth of US Military behaviour in Iraq, in
Afghanistan and in other sovereign nations targeted for regime
change. The nation which parades across the world with pious lectures
about human rights, the rule of law, and the importance of democracy
is graphically exposed as the biggest abuser of human rights, the
enemy of democracy and serial sponsor of war crimes. Many peoples
suffered from US war crimes and human rights abuses, but the US
denied guilt. Wikileaks exposed both their lies – and their crimes.
After years of denying
civilian casualties in Iraq, the Wikileaks Iraq war logs ten years
ago covering the period 2005-2009 and running into almost 400,000
army field reports revealed the atrocious truth that civilian deaths
constituted more than two-thirds of all recorded casualties in Iraq.
Many thousands of deaths were deliberately not recorded but of those
that were 66,081 of 109,000 deaths were civilians. The Iraq Body
Count Project (IBC) used the published war logs to credibly estimate
civilian deaths as a minimum
of 183,249 to 205,785 while other population and family
interview-based studies estimate the civilian death toll is well over
one million.
Up to one million
unarmed, innocent civilians murdered on the back of a concocted lie
about Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMDs) and Iraq’s readiness to
use them. There was no threat from Iraq’s WMDs as she had none and
there was no link to the terrible 9/11 attacks in America in 2001 as
Iraq had not a single Taliban or al Qaeda operative within its
territory. Iraq was illegally invaded, destroyed and over a million
people were slaughtered on the basis of lies and deceit and the
October 22nd, 2010 Wikileaks document publication revealed the US as
the biggest war criminal on the planet.
Wikileaks
Exposures Reveal US Working With Terrorists Not Against Them
The US and the world
were still reeling from the Wikileaks publication of the Afghanistan
war logs on 25th July 2010 which revealed American complicity in
arbitrary civilian assassinations, systematic torture of
non-combatants and extreme lies to cover up their crimes in
Afghanistan. Wikileaks has continued its crusade to uncover powerful
states and companies who lie and deceive and commit crimes in pursuit
of their objectives in breath-taking displays of hypocrisy. The Syria
leaks illustrate the extent the US and its allies will go to in
pursuit of global domination with clear evidence of funding and
supporting the very Daesh* terrorists and brutes within Syria to
conduct a proxy war against the Assad government despite wholesale
condemnations and declared hatred of such groups publicly. The world
is led to believe the US is at war with Islamic terror groups like
Daesh when in fact they are in
cahoots with allies who are arming them and fighting alongside
them in Syria.
John Shipton should be
enjoying his retirement years but instead, he is campaigning across
the world to raise awareness of his son’s terrible mistreatment by
the UK and US governments and demanding his immediate release. He
highlighted how Julian’s Wikileaks exposures have actually led to
government actions to expel US troops from their soil and thereby
saving lives. Despite empty headlines and accusations to the contrary
not a single individual has ever been harmed as a result of Wikileaks
publications and all the evidence shows Julian Assange worked
assiduously to redact the names of any potential targets in the war
logs while Guardian journalists who revelled in days of high profile
swoops and money spinning books actually betrayed details Julian
desperately worked to keep hidden.
George
Bush and Tony Blair Should be Behind Bars Not Julian Assange
The absence of
bitterness from John’s conversation with me is remarkable and
testimony to his compassion and understanding of world affairs. His
admiration for his son’s courage and strength is huge. Julian
Assange committed no crimes. He is in a prison cell while real war
criminals like George Bush and Tony Blair escape justice. They are
the ones who lied and bullied and bribed and blackmailed the UN to
try and get a second resolution justifying invading Iraq. They
failed.
The invasion and
subsequent occupation were illegal and they should be held
responsible for the one million civilian deaths which resulted. The
fact Chelsea Manning spent seven years behind bars before her
thirty-five-year sentence was commuted by Barack Obama is a disgrace.
She was sentenced again last March because she refused to testify
against Julian Assange. She spent a year in jail between March 2019 –
March 2020. She is the epitome of courage and integrity. Refusing to
turn on Assange revealed her inner strength and dignity.
Julian
Assange is a Victim of Psychological Torture in UK Custody
Julian Assange’s
father drew attention to the numerous investigations of his son’s
incarceration by the United Nations rapporteur on torture and
arbitrary detention. Through visits and detailed assessments
Professor Nils Melzer compiled damning evidence which showed Julian
was indeed a victim of systematic psychological torture for which the
UK bears a heavy responsibility:
“The case
falls into my mandate in three different ways: First, Assange
published proof of systematic torture. But instead of those
responsible for the torture, it is Assange who is being persecuted.
Second, he himself has been ill-treated to the point that he is now
exhibiting symptoms of psychological torture. And third, he is to be
extradited to a country that holds people like him in prison
conditions that Amnesty International has described as torture. In
summary: Julian Assange uncovered torture, has been tortured himself
and could be tortured to death in the United States. And a case like
that isn’t supposed to be part of my area of responsibility? Beyond
that, the case is of symbolic importance and affects every citizen of
a democratic country”
Please read
these words from Professor Nils Melzer over and over again and
acquaint yourself with his various reports. Exactly ten years to the
day after exposing heinous US war crimes, systematic torture and
flagrant breaches of international law it is the man who exposed the
crimes who is behind bars when it should be the organisers,
facilitators and perpetrators of those crimes.
Plague
of Malice
During our interview,
I reminded John Shipton of an incredibly apt phrase he used recently
when interviewed during Julian’s trial in London. He said his son
was subject to a “plague
of malice”. I suggested it should be the title of a book
detailing how Julian has not been criminally prosecuted – he has been
politically persecuted. Persecuted by powerful nations in a vengeful
act of revenge for being exposed by Julian as the practiced
criminals, liars, and murderers they are. Should Julian Assange be
handed over by a British Court to face a life sentence in America for
publishing evidence of US government war crimes it is the death knell
of investigative journalism and the most serious undermining of free
speech and freedom of expression in hundreds of years. The world will
be propelled back to the dark ages of medieval dynasties and the
denial of democratic rights and freedoms should America be allowed to
demand the release of a journalist into their custody for harsh
punishment for doing no more than revealing war crimes. It was the
celebrated author and forensic social commentator George Orwell
who said that journalism
is printing what someone else does not want printed; everything else
is public relations.
But he also advised us that:
In a time of
deceit telling the truth is a revolutionary act.
Please get involved in
the various campaigns and online petitions and support groups
demanding the release of Julian Assange. His state-sponsored
political persecution has no association with justice and everything
to do with spite, revenge, and stark warnings to the rest of us.
Don’t you dare speak the truth or speak out or stand up against
injustices and wicked crimes committed by your governments lest you
face the same personal mauling and destruction of character meted out
to Julian Assange.
The cause of Julian
Assange is the cause of free speech, the rule of law and the right of
the public to know when their governments and the powerful commit
crimes. If they get away with extraditing Assange today it could be
any one of us tomorrow. Say it loud and say it clear – Exposing war
crimes is not a crime – Free Julian Assange.

You summed it up as well as it
could be. At 75 and a former pilot in the USAF, I am thoroughly
ashamed to call myself an American. Something must be done to secure
the release of Julian Assange. What the hell has happened to us that
we have allowed people to be tortured in our name! The whole world
knows that the British government is a mere puppet of the US State.
Julian is being imprisoned and tortured at the direction of the US
Government. Yes, our nation is, and has been, run for many years by a

waaronder Nederland, bleef uit. In plaats daarvan werd een nieuw kamp
gebouwd. En wat blijkt: de
omstandigheden in “Moria 2.0” zijn nog slechter dan in het kamp
daarvoor.
De inwoners moeten zien te
overleven in erbarmelijke omstandigheden. Uit onderzoek van Oxfam
Novib blijkt dat de tenten totaal niet bestand zijn tegen het
naderende winterweer. In
het nieuwe Moria is er nauwelijks stromend water, is het eten van
slechte kwaliteit en is de toegang tot gezondheidszorg gebrekkig. [1] Daarnaast zijn er
serieuze zorgen dat het kamp op vergiftigde grond staat. [2] Gezinnen
leven op Lesbos in mensonterende omstandigheden.
Ons kabinet mag dan bereid
zijn deze mensen aan hun lot over te laten, maar wij pikken dit niet! Aankomende woensdag
wordt in de Tweede Kamer over het nieuwe Moria-kamp gesproken. Dit is
hét moment om je stem te laten horen. Stuur een (al klaargezette)
mail naar de Kamercommissie van Buitenlandse Handel en
Ontwikkelingssamenwerking om te laten weten dat er een oplossing moet
komen: Lesbos moet
leeg, en Nederland moet een deel van de vluchtelingen opvangen!
De kritiek op de Moriadeal van het
kabinet, waarbij 100 slachtoffers uit Moria werden uitgeruild tegen
het opnemen van 100 andere kwetsbare vluchtelingen, zwelt steeds meer
aan. Vorige week startten bezorgde partijleden een actie om de
coalitie aan te sporen om acute hulp te bieden en met structurele
oplossingen in EU-verband te komen. Inmiddels hebben al bijna 1000
leden van de ChristenUnie, D66, het CDA en de VVD deze oproep
ondersteund! [3]
Met de winter in aantocht
is het nu of nooit als wij een verschil willen maken voor de mensen
van het nieuwe Moria.
Nu het onderwerp deze week op de politieke agenda staat, moeten wij
dus van ons laten horen! Druk van burgers werkt. Na de brand in Moria
op 9 september gingen we massaal de straat op en dwongen we het
kabinet actie te nemen. Samen kunnen wij het kabinet nu weer tot meer
medemenselijkheid bewegen!
Laat
jij de politiek weten dat wij Moria 2.0 niet accepteren?
Terwijl de Nederlandse regering
keer op keer zegt mensenrechten hoog in het vaandel te hebben, leven
er mensen aan de randen van ons continent in mensonterende
omstandigheden. Dit kunnen wij niet langer accepteren. Het is de
hoogste tijd om de Moriadeal te fiksen!

De oorlog in Syrië is voorbereid en geregisseerd door de VS, met
hulp van Groot-Brittannië, Egypte en Saoedi-Arabië…… Het plan
voor die oorlog stamt al uit 2006 en werd door Hillary Clinton als
Minister van BuZa onder Obama in werking gesteld, eerst met een
poging een opstand te ontketenen door de inzet van buitenlandse islamitische
agitatoren, die probeerden het volk op te zetten tegen de Assad
regering….. Toen dat niet lukte hebben de VS en Egypte hele
terreurgroepen en leden van terreurgroepen als ISIS, vanuit Libië via ‘tussenstation’ Irak, bewapend en voorzien van rollend
oorlogstuig overgebracht naar Syrië……..

Dacht
dat BPRC Rijswijk een punt had gezet achter het gebruik van apen voor
medische proeven, maar uit een bericht van Animal Rights blijkt dit
allesbehalve het geval te zijn. Doordat de minister van de ChristenUnie die hierover gaat, hare onbenullige
kwaadaardigheid Carola Schouten vindt dat het beschermen van
bedrijfsgegevens belangrijker is dan het vreselijke lijden van
dieren, is het voorgaande niet helemaal zeker, echter gezien de
geschiedenis van BPRC en Hartelust kan het bijna niet anders dan dat
ze betrokken zijn bij deze wel heel smerige handel….. Twee zaken zijn wel zeker: BPRC verkoopt apen voor dierproeven en dat voor € 7.000,– per stuk en BPRC en Hartelust leveren apen voor dierproeven aan de universiteit van Leuven…….
Lees de tekst bij de petitie (die tekst is meer uitgebreid dan de hieronder opgenomen tekst) die Animal Rights steunt, een petitie van
‘Action for Primates’ en ‘Progress Science Mauritius’, teken deze petitie ajb en geeft het door, het moet afgelopen zijn met het misbruik van apen
voor dierproeven!! Wat zeg ik? Het moet helemaal afgelopen zijn met
dierproeven, het is dan ook totaal nodeloos, er zijn tegenwoordig
heel andere en betere manieren om te zien of bepaalde stoffen goed
te keuren zijn voor menselijk gebruik, dat kan bijvoorbeeld door menselijk cel materiaal
te gebruiken en geeft daarmee zelfs veel betere resultaten dan het misbruik van proefdieren!!!*
Moet je nagaan: eerder werden actievoerders tegen de proeven met apen in BPRC uitgemaakt voor terroristen, terwijl de pijn en het lijden die de medewerkers van deze duivelse organisatie veroorzaken bij weerloze dieren zonder meer als heel smerige terreur kan worden aangemerkt!! (waarnaast ze zich bovendien schuldig maken aan massamoord op weerloze dieren….) Ofwel het gaat hier om gewetenloze psychopaten!!
Dat Animal Rights onderscheid maakt tussen wel en niet in het wild gevangen dieren, vind ik op z’n zachtst gezegd je reinste kul, de mens moet met z’n moorddadige poten van deze dieren afblijven!! (overigens ook honden en katten worden misbruikt voor dierproeven*)
Nederland importeert apen uit Mauritius
De afgelopen twee jaar importeerde
Nederland maar liefst 221
apen uit Mauritius. Waar deze apen precies
heen gaan is niet duidelijk, want de minister vindt het beschermen
van bedrijfsgegevens belangrijker dan het lijden van
proefdieren. Topverdachten zijn apenhandelaar Hartelust
uit Tilburg en het proefdiercentrum BPRC uit
Rijswijk.
Internationale dierenrechtenorganisaties
trekken aan de alarmbel. Mauritius wil niet alleen haar apenfokkerij
uitbreiden, maar ook toestaan dat het vangen
van wilde apen weer wordt opgestart. Dit moet
gestopt worden, voordat het legaal wordt om wilde apen van het eiland
te plukken en ze te exporteren naar laboratoria overal ter wereld!
Ons werd bevestigd dat Hartelust sinds
1992 apen afneemt uit China, Afrika en Mauritius. Het is
bizar dat de minister het aantal apenexperimenten in Nederland wil
verminderen, maar de grootste apenhandelaar van Europa
geen strobreed in de weg legt. Nederland is de spil in de Europese
apenhandel voor dierproeven.
Importeert
Nederland straks wilde apen uit Mauritius?,
(excuus maar dat doet Nederland al!! Ap) Wij voeren campagne voor
de stopzetting van apenexperimenten en de handel in proefapen.
Apen zijn geen testobjecten of reageerbuizen! Teken onze
petitie en red
de apen uit de laboratoria.
