‘Nieuws’ gebaseerd op corrupte ‘think tanks’ is niets anders dan propaganda

Eén van de meest vreemde zaken als het gaat om de reguliere westerse (massa-) media propaganda, waarmee mensen worden gemanipuleerd hoe te denken, handelen en stemmen om de huidige status quo te bewaren, is het feit dat deze media op routine matige manier medewerkers citeren die onderdeel zijn van denktanks (think tanks), die worden gesponsord door oorlogswinstmakers en regeringen…….. Deze denktanks en hun woordvoerders worden geciteerd als deskundigen in rapporten die men laat verschijnen….. Het voorgaande aldus Caitlin Johnstone, die hieraan toevoegt dat ze met deze smerige manipulaties nog wegkomen ook (al heb ik het ‘smerige’ er zelf aan toegevoegd, Ap)……

Caitlin noemt als voorbeeld de Murdoch pers in Australië (waar zij woont), die een rapport in de media bracht waarin China wordt gedemoniseerd, een rapport dat tot stand kwam door de ‘inspanningen’ van wapenfabrikanten en regeringen waarin de hysterie onder het volk verder wordt opgezweept met leugens als zou China een militaire bedreiging zijn voor Australië en dat land zelfs zou kunnen aanvallen…… Sky News citeert het Lowy Institute (denktank) dat over China stelt dat dit land langeafstandsraketten en bommenwerpers heeft waarmee het Australië kan aanvallen….. (alsof China daarop zit te wachten……) Sky News gaat op de sociale media nog een stap verder en durft te stellen dat China een wapenarsenaal heeft dat het grootste gevaar is voor het Australische vasteland sinds de Tweede Wereldoorlog, waarbij Sky News wijst naar ‘deskundigen….’

Deze ‘deskundige’ leden van denktank Lowy Institute, een instituut genoemd naar de miljonair die het oprichtte, worden betaald door meerdere overheidsorganen inclusief de Australian Security Intelligence Organisationen (ASIO), belangrijke financiële instituties en wapenfabrikanten als Boeing…… Het rapport van het Lowy Institute die deze haatzaaierij citeert komt van Thomas Shugart, die lid is van het Center for a New American Security (CNAS), een aan Joe Biden gelieerde oorlogshitsers denktank en die wordt dan weer betaald door oorlogswinstmakers als Boeing, General Dynamics, Lockheed Martin (de maker van de meer dan waardeloze F-35 of Joint Strike Fighter [JSF]), Northrop Gumman en Raytheon, dit nog naast het VS ministerie van BuZa en andere regeringen (dan de VS, Ap)……

Caitlin stelt dan ook dat in het kort gezegd overheidsinstanties en oorlogswinstmakers hebben betaald voor een rapport waarmee goedkeuring wordt gecreëerd voor hun agenda bij beleidsmakers en het publiek, waarbij de reguliere (massa-) media dit als nieuws brengen…. (daarbij zorgen die media ervoor dat het publiek wordt gemanipuleerd, niet alleen door het citeren van het Lowy Institute rapport, maar ook die van andere denktanks die stuk voor stuk als onafhankelijk ‘deskundig’ worden voorgesteld…..) Te schunnig voor woorden en de nazi Goebbels zou zijn lippen erbij aflikken, sterker nog: men gebruikt zelfs propagandamethoden die werden ontwikkeld door deze enorme bloedige psychopaat……

In het voorgaande werd al even gewezen op een denktank uit de VS, waar het barst van deze extreem rechtse denktanks, die vooral het militair-industrieel complex bedienen met hun meer dan belachelijke haat- en angstzaaierij…. Echter dit verschijnsel vind je in alle westerse landen, zoals ook in Nederland, neem het Clingendael Institute (Netherlands Institute of International Relations) of het Haags Centrum voor Strategische Studies in het Engels: Hague Centre for Strategic Studies(HCSS), beide denktanks staan vooral ten dienste van het militair-industrieel complex en dan m.n. de lobby voor de NAVO, het agressieve buitenlandbeleid van de VS (en zoals al uit de aanduiding al duidelijk is: uiteraard voor de belangen van de wapenfabrikanten….)….. 

Ondanks het voorgaande durft men bij deze 2 organen te stellen ‘onafhankelijk’ te zijn, terwijl het wel zeker is dat ook deze instituten worden gefinancierd door overheden en oorlogswinstmakers…… Niet voor niets ook dat deze 2 denktanks vooral haat- en angstzaaien tegen/voor Rusland en China,  mocht het zo uitkomen neemt men daar ook Iran, Syrië en Noord-Korea mee in de smerige propaganda…… Angst- en haatzaaierij voor/tegen Rusland en China terwijl deze landen aantoonbaar in hun buitenlandbeleid niet eens in de schaduw kunnen staan van wat de VS en haar oorlogshond de NAVO over de wereld aan terreur uitoefenen en hebben uitgeoefend, waarbij alleen deze eeuw al meer dan 5 miljoen mensen werden vermoord…..

Aan het voorgaande moet ik ook Israël toevoegen, ofwel zowel Clingendael als het HCSS staan pal achter de bloedige terreur die Israël uitoefent tegen het verdrukte Palestijnse volk plus de terreur tegen Syrië en Iran, waarbij men de laatste 2 genoemde landen beschuldigt van zaken die juist worden uitgevoerd door Israël, de VS en andere NAVO-lidstaten, ondanks de miljoenen doden in het Midden-Oosten, ten gevolge van de VS terreur, durft men zelfs keihard te stellen dat Iran de stabiliteit in het Midden-Oosten geweld aandoet…… ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Ja ik lach wel, maar deze denktanks hebben een zo grote invloed op de Nederlandse reguliere media dat een groot deel van ons volk de leugens, of beter gezegd de onvervalste propaganda gelooft…… Hier moet nog aan toegevoegd worden dat ook de geheime diensten AIVD en MIVD fungeren als rechtse denktanks die meedoen aan oorlogshitserij en het maken en brengen van anti Chinese en Russische propaganda voor de reguliere media…..

One
of the weirdest things about the mass media propaganda which
manipulates the way people think, act and vote to maintain the status
quo is the fact that mainstream news outlets routinely cite the
employees of think tanks that are sponsored by war profiteers and
government powers as expert sources for their reports. And they just get
away with it.

To pick one of nearly infinite possible examples, here in Australia the Murdoch press are currently citing a report
generated through the funding of governments and weapons manufacturers
to whip up public hysteria about the ridiculous fantasy that China might
attack us. The most egregious of these is a write-up from Sky News
whose headline reads, “Lowy Institute report: China possesses ability to ‘strike Australia’ with long-range missiles, bombers“.

On social media Sky News is sharing this story
with the even more incendiary caption “China now has the military
arsenal to pose the greatest threat to the Australian mainland since
World War II, experts warn.”

The “experts” in question are the Lowy Institute, named after its billionaire founder, which is funded
by multiple branches of the Australian government including ASIO and
the Department of Defence, by major financial institutions, and by
weapons manufacturers like Boeing. The author of the Lowy Institute report these stories are citing is Thomas Shugart, himself an employee of the notorious Center for a New American Security, a Biden administration-aligned warmongering think tank that receives funding from top war profiteers Boeing, General Dynamics, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, and Raytheon, as well as the US State Department and numerous other governments.

So
in summary, government agencies and war profiteers paid for a report
which manufactures consent for their agendas among policymakers and the
public, and mass media institutions passed this off as “news”.

And
this is exactly what these think tanks exist to do: cook up narratives
which benefit their immensely powerful and unfathomably psychopathic
sponsors, and insert those narratives at key points of influence.

“Think
tank” is a good and accurate label, not because a great deal of thought
happens in them, but because they’re dedicated to controlling what
people think, and because they are artificial enclosures for slimy
creatures. Their job, generally speaking, is to concoct and market
reasons why it would be good and smart to do something evil and stupid.

And
it works. Because of the efforts of warmonger-funded think tanks like
the Lowy Institute, Center for a New American Security, and the profoundly odious Australian Strategic Policy Institute
(ASPI), more and more Australian brains are being turned into soup by
ridiculous propaganda narratives about China posing a meaningful threat
to them. As The Conversation highlighted last month,
a poll conducted by that same Lowy Institute claims that “only 16% of
surveyed Australians [express] trust in China compared with 52% just
three years ago,” that a “similar number of Australians think China will
launch an armed attack on Australia (42%) as on Taiwan (49%),” and that
“more Australians (13%) than Taiwanese (4%) think a Chinese invasion of
Taiwan is likely sometime soon.”

You
can understand why the Lowy Institute would want to show off numbers
like that to potential sponsors, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they are
entirely accurate; I’ve started conversations with complete strangers
here in Victoria recently and seen them start babbling about how awful
China is within a few minutes, completely out of the blue. It’s like
watching a zombie outbreak in real time.

And this is of course entirely by design. Because of its useful geostrategic location in relation to China, Australia has been turned into a functional US military/intelligence asset so crucial that multiple coups have been instituted here to ensure we remain aligned with the Pentagon
against Beijing. You can’t have the locals meddling with the gears of
your war machine with pesky little nuisances like the democratic
process, so you’ve got to keep them aggressively propagandized.

This
is why our consciousness is continually pummelled with think
tank-manufactured narratives about China. See an attention-grabbing
headline about the big scary Chinese boogeyman and it will almost always
be authored by a sleazy think tank denizen or be based on the work of
one. A few weeks ago 60 Minutes Australia ran an unbelievably hysterical segment
branding New Zealand “New Xi-Land” because its government didn’t
perfectly align with Washington on one particular aspect of its cold war
agenda, and it featured an interview with an Australian Strategic
Policy Institute spinmeister as well as the actual ASPI office.

The
Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI) is cited by mass media outlets
around the world and is funded by, you guessed it, governments and war
profiteers. According to APAC News’ Marcus Reubenstein, ASPI is funded by all the usual weapons manufacturers, by the US State Department and other governments.

“ASPI
has received funding from the governments of Britain, Japan and Taiwan
as well as NATO,” Reubenstein writes. “Among its corporate supporters
are global weapons makers Thales, BAE Systems, Raytheon, SAAB, Northrop Grumman, MDBA Missile Systems and Naval Group. Yet their contribution of over $330,000 last year is dwarfed by that of a handful of government departments and agencies.”

Media
citation of warmonger-funded think tanks is common throughout the
western world. Government-sponsored imperialist spin factories like
Bellingcat are routinely cited by the mainstream media,
and those citations are leant credibility by the fawning puff pieces
which those media institutions regularly churn out about the propaganda
firm.

I just grabbed a New York Times article at random about the events transpiring in Afghanistan and found its author citing
the chief executive of the Center for a New American Security arguing
against the Biden administration’s troop withdrawal, as well as a Center
for American Progress employee arguing that the Taliban takeover could cause a PR nightmare. Center for American Progress is also partly funded by the war industry.

The
fact that disguising statements by propagandists who are sponsored by
governments and war profiteers is journalistic malpractice should be
obvious to everyone in the world, and if media and education systems
were doing their jobs instead of indoctrinating society into accepting
the status quo, it would be. But propaganda only works if you don’t
realize you’re being propagandized, and keeping people from realizing
this is itself a part of the propaganda.

Make
a fortune killing people and selling their bodies and you’d be
remembered as the century’s worst monster. Make the same fortune selling
the weapons used to kill the same number of people in wars you
propagandized into existence and you’re a respected job creator.

Absolutely appalling.

Miljonair Oomen koopt ANP ‘om nepnieuws (fake news) te kunnen bestrijden….’

Gisteren kwam ik op Linkedin een bericht tegen van Patrick Coopmans, die (althans voor mij) het nieuws bracht dat miljonair Chris Oomen het ANP heeft opgekocht. 

Daarbij heeft Coopmans een artikel uit de Volkskrant overgenomen waarin Oomen uitlegt dat hij het ANP heeft gekocht vanwege zorgen over nepnieuws (fake news)…… Kijk en daarbij gaan bij mij de haren rechtovereind staan, immers wat is nepnieuws en wie bepaalt dat?? Neem de berichtgeving in de reguliere westerse (massa-) media over de illegale oorlogen van de VS tegen Afghanistan, Irak, Libië en Syrië, die berichtgeving stond bomvol met de leugens van de geheime diensten uit de VS en een paar andere westerse landen……. Ondanks dat later bekend werd dat deze media zonder enig eigen onderzoek die leugens hadden overgenomen en de berichtgeving inderdaad bestond uit leugens, hebben die media hun eerdere berichtgeving daarna nooit gerectificeerd, ofwel men ziet dat nog steeds niet als nepnieuws (fake news)…….

Het voorgaande terwijl ook de reguliere media de vuilbek vol hebben van fake news op de sociale media en journalisten van die media zelfs censuur eisen op de alternatieve media, waarbij men belachelijke kul berichten als voorbeeld neemt, maar het niet aandurft om de alternatieve media aan te vallen voor hun berichtgeving, niet zo gek als je bedenkt dat de zichzelf serieus nemende alternatieve media, journalisten hebben die wel onafhankelijk berichten en onderzoek doen voordat ze iets publiceren en toch willen de reguliere media juist de alternatieve media de mond snoeren met censuur, het gaat ze in het geheel niet om overduidelijke kul op de sociale media (terwijl men dat wel als voorbeeld neemt), nee de serieuze alternatieve media zijn een bedreiging voor de reguliere media, daar steeds meer gebruikers afhaken en hun heil zoeken bij de alternatieve media………(door de Coronacrisis is dit enigszins afgenomen, maar reken maar dat men de reguliere media straks weer meer en meer laat vallen….)

Het meest lullige is wel dat Oomen nogmaals bevestigt wat al jaren bekend is: de reguliere westerse media zijn in handen van spuugrijke oligarchen en die bepalen wat er wel en niet mag worden gepubliceerd, uiteraard hebben deze stinkend rijke figuren belang bij een neoliberale regering, belang bij hoge beurskoersen van wapenfabrikanten (in de breedste zin van het woord, dus ook fabrikanten van rollend, varend en vliegend oorlogstuig), belang bij idem hoge oliekoersen en bijvoorbeeld hoge koersen van farmaceuten (door de Coronacrisis is het aantal miljardairs in de VS met een fiks percentage gestegen….)  en zakenbanken, daar ze grootaandeelhouders zijn van deze bedrijven/instellingen…….

Voorts is het te gek voor woorden dat een leek als Oomen durft te zeggen dat mensen die zich niet laten inenten met een Coronavaccin, zo ongeveer de toegang tot de maatschappij ontzegd moet worden…… Terwijl de makers van die vaccins zelf geen vertrouwen hebben in hun product en daarom van regeringen eisen dat ze niet aansprakelijk mogen worden gesteld voor (ernstige) bijwerkingen van die vaccins op de korte, de middellange en lange termijn…… Denk niet dat Oomen een auto zou kopen waarvan de maker eist dat je zo’n verklaring moet tekenen, waarbij je tekent voor het niet aansprakelijk stellen van die maker voor technische gebreken die tot ernstige ongelukken kunnen leiden, voordat je deze mag gebruiken…… Maar dezelfde Oomen eist wel dat mensen zich onder diezelfde voorwaarden laten vaccineren…… (en dat is nog maar één van de vele kritiekpunten op de vaccins, daarnaast is er een fiks aantal deskundigen die met zware kritiek kwamen op de Coronavaccins, deskundigen waaronder microbiologen, virologen en artsen…..)……

Ben het niet snel met de rechtse hufter en klimaatontkenner Marianne Zwagerman eens, maar zij stelde vanmorgen in haar column op BNR dat Oomen tegen de vrije meningsuiting is en gezien het voorgaande kan ik haar niet anders dan gelijk geven……

Het kan gewoon in 2021. Iemand die zo te lezen
vrij uitgesproken is, 900 Miljoen op de bank, koopt het ANP, zodat alles
wat afwijkt van zijn beeld niet meer in het nieuws komt, want dat is
Nep nieuws. Zo doet hij wat terug voor de maatschappij.
Stel hij heeft gelijk, dan is dit nog steeds geen goede ontwikkeling. 🙈

Na de zoveelste massamoord van Israël op Palestijnen in de Gazastrook heeft de Biden administratie de verkoop en export goedgekeurd van $ 735 miljoen aan wapens voor Israël….. Bij die massamoord op Palestijnen zijn natuurlijk ook wapens uit de VS gebruikt (de export van wapens aan Israël is dan ook een ferme geldinjectie in de VS wapenindustrie, daar de wapens uiteraard van VS makelij zijn…..)

Gisteren nog riep dezelfde Biden administratie o.a. de EU op om geld te geven voor de wederopbouw van de Gazastrook waar een enorm aantal mensen dakloos is geworden door bombardementen op woonwijken, hele woontorens werden platgegooid door Israël…… Door deze terreur hebben meer dan 230 Palestijnen het leven verloren, ofwel die zijn vermoord (onder de dodelijke slachtoffers een groot aantal kinderen…..)…… Zoals je begrijpt overstijgt het aantal (ook zwaar-) gewonden het aantal doden ……. (en nogmaals voor die massamoord en het platgooien van flats en woontorens zijn ook VS wapens gebruikt….)

Geld voor de zoveelste wederopbouw van de Gazastrook, ik snap dan ook niet dat de EU en haar lidstaten zo achter de Israëlische terreur blijven staan, keer op keer ook gooit Israël ontwikkelingsprojecten van de EU plat, valt ziekenhuizen aan in de Gazastrook* (zoals nu weer een kinderziekenhuis van Artsen Zonder Grenzen >> MSF), ook de wegen naar ziekenhuizen werden door Israël gebombardeerd….. 

Met andere woorden: de EU weet dondersgoed dat Israël EU ontwikkelingsprojecten en door de EU betaalde wederopbouwprojecten keer op keer door Israël worden platgegooid en toch blijft men hechte banden onderhouden met deze uiterst gewelddadige fascistische apartheidsstaat, een staat die zich met haar bloedige geweld zonder meer schuldig maakt aan grootschalige terreur… Zelfs een unanieme veroordeling door de EU van het totaal ongelijke geweld van Israël tegen de Palestijnen krijgt men niet door het EU parlement….. (één van de vele bewijzen dat de EU niet werkt >> geen centralisatie maar decentralisatie!!)

* Vorig jaar gooide Israël nog een splinternieuwe medische post plat voor Palestijnen op de West Bank, een post die speciaal was gebouwd voor Coronapatiënten……..

Elbit
is Israëls grootste wapenfabrikant en is wereldwijd leider op gebied
van drones en militaire observatie technologie, waarmee dit bedrijf
een belangrijke rol speelt in racistische grensbewaking (het voorkomen dat
vluchtelingen grenzen oversteken), gedwongen verplaatsingen en andere oorlogsmisdaden en mensenrechtenschendingen……

De
Boycot, Desinvesteringen en Sancties (BDS) beweging voor vrijheid, gelijkheid en gerechtigheid verzet zich
tegen deze smerige fabrikant en als gevolg van eerdere successen,
winnen meerdere campagnes aan invloed om Elbit te stoppen.

Vervolgens
komt BDS met voorbeelden zoals een campagne tegen Elbit in de EU:
Elbits Hermes 900 drones spelen een belangrijke rol in het observeren
en tegenhouden van vluchtelingen die de Middellandse Zee
of de Egeïsche Zee oversteken….. Terwijl de EU zich aan internationale verdragen als het VN Vluchtelingenverdrag zou
moeten houden i.p.v. de Middellandse Zee (inclusief de Egeïsche Zee) te veranderen in een
massagraf…. (en zoals al zo vaak op deze plek verzucht: vluchtelingen die bijna zonder uitzondering op de vlucht zijn geslagen vanwege westerse grootschalige terreur in hun thuisland…..)

Canada
is met Elbit bezig nieuwe wapens te ontwikkelen, waarbij de regering
Trudeau laat zien lak te hebben internationaal recht, mensenrechtenschendingen en misdaden tegen de menselijkheid (vergeet niet dat Israël nieuwe wapens en
wapensystemen uitprobeert op het al zo vervolgde en praktisch weerloze Palestijnse
volk…)….. BDS heeft in haar petitie een fout gemaakt als het om
Canada gaat, daar men spreekt over de regering Andrews van Victoria,
terwijl deze (deel-) regering zich in Australië bevindt (heb dit gecorrigeerd in het artikel), zie ook de
volgende alinea:

voorgaande geldt ook voor Australië, waar de regering Andrews van
Victoria zich schuldig maakt aan meewerken met
mensenrechtenschendingen en schending van internationaal recht…… Overigens vanwege dit uitproberen van nieuwe wapens op de weerloze
Palestijnen zou ik willen toevoegen dat zowel Canada als Australië
zich ook schuldig maken aan misdaden tegen de menselijkheid……

In
de VS is een aantal mensenrechtenorganisaties tegen het uitbreiden
van Trumps racistische grensbewaking met digitale technologie van
Elbit Systems (de versterkte grensbewaking is niet teruggedraaid door Biden…….) Het bedrijf heeft meerdere contracten met de VS
overheid om de grensbewakingstechnologie aan te passen……. Nog
‘een leuk detail’: Elbit Systems heeft voorafgaand aan de VS
verkiezingen vorig jaar zowel de Republikeinse als de Democratische Partij gesteund met een bedrag van $ 112,000.00 om zo door te kunnen
gaan met de militarisering van de VS-Mexicaanse grens…….
(overigens bewijst het doneren van geld aan politici door grote bedrijven in de
VS ten overvloede dat we hier niet met democratische verkiezingen te maken
hebben en dan is dit nog maar het spreekwoordelijke puntje van de
enorme ijsberg aan geschonken bedragen…….. (die naar ik dacht ook nog steeds van de te betalen belasting mogen worden afgetrokken…..)

Intussen
proberen zionisten in Israël en daarbuiten de acties tegen Elbit
Systems weg te zetten als antisemitisme……. Daarnaast wil men
zelfs het gebruik van het woord ‘zionist’ wegzetten als
antisemitisme….. Te zot voor woorden!!!

CaitlinJohnstone verwacht dat de Biden administratie gewelddadiger zal zijn
dan die van Obama en dat zal leiden tot de voorwaarden die het een
‘tweede Trump’ (of zelfs Trump) mogelijk zal maken om de verkiezingen
over 4 jaar te winnen. Caitlin ziet het als een teruggang in de tijd,
vlak voordat de Democraten werden verslagen door Trump.

Terecht merkt Caitlin op dat linkse
Democraten nu al moeten beginnen met het verzet tegen de Biden
administratie, zoals Biden nu al bezig is om alles wat naar links
ruikt en zeker de leiders van de linkse Democraten, Bernie Sanders en
Elizabeth Warren buiten zijn regering te houden en alle plannen die
ze hadden bij een eventuele verkiezingswinst door de
papiervernietiger te halen……

Niet
voor niets dat Biden vrouwen aanstelt in zijn administratie, daar dit
al als links/progressief wordt gezien door zowel de linkse als de conservatieve (neoliberale) tak van de Democraten (waar de laatsten uiteraard niet zo blij mee zijn)…… Daarbij is Kamala Harris als Biden een oorlogsmisdadiger, zij moet de zwarte
bevolking behagen en lokken voor de verkiezingen over 4
jaar en kan door haar recente agressieve geschiedenis rekenen op de steun van de door de Republikeinen beheerste senaat….. Bovendien haalt Biden met Harris ook nog eens een aardig
deel van de bevolking binnen die van oorsprong uit Midden- en
Zuid-Amerika komt. Kortom ‘3 vliegen in 1 valse klap……’ 

Eigenlijk
haalt Biden nog veel meer groepen binnen, daar hij de wapenindustrie
al veel winsten heeft beloofd met zijn oorlogstaal tegen Venezuela,
Iran en Rusland…… China zal hij noodgedwongen blijven aanpakken daar
hij zich anders de woede van werkloze arbeiders en het conservatieve,
ofwel neoliberale deel van de Democraten op de hals haalt….. Bovendien heeft aankomend vicepresident Harris al belooft de ‘koude oorlog’ met China in stand te houden….. (tot groot genoegen van de Republikeinen)

Voorts
haalt Caitlin het boek van Obama aan, memoires van zijn
presidentschap en de aanloop daartoe, dat nu in de winkels
ligt (zal daar later nog een bericht over brengen). Onder andere noemt Caitlin de
uitlatingen van Obama over de meer dan belachelijke ‘oorlog tegen
terreur’, waar hij stelt dat hij deze oorlog door George W. Bush begonnen ten volle steunde en nog steunt, terwijl die oorlog
juist met grootschalige terreur werd en wordt uitgevoerd en een groot
aantal terroristen heeft gekweekt, om nog maar te zwijgen over de 2,5 miljoen doden die dit heeft opgeleverd siunds 2001…… (en dat cijfer is nog buiten de 3.000 mensen die zouden zijn omgekomen bij de aanvallen op de Twin Towers, waarover nu meer dan duidelijk is dat deze werd geregisseerd door de CIA en de NSA…….)

It
looks like a safe bet that Joe Biden will be sworn in on January 20th
after successfully campaigning on returning the murderous and
oppressive Orwellian US empire back to its pre-Trump “normal”.

The
problem with this, apart from the obvious fact that it was an
embarrassingly
close victory
only made possible by the Covid outbreak, is that returning to the
pre-Trump “normal” is returning to the exact positions
which created Trump. It’s like using a time machine to prevent a
train wreck, but only going back to one millisecond before the train
wreck occurred.

It
is clear that Trump’s election was the
result of the easily exploited dissatisfaction
caused by years of neoliberal austerity at home and neoconservative
bloodshed abroad which Obama forcefully expanded and facilitated
throughout two terms as president. Trump voters famously
defended
opting for the reality TV star over the anointed establishment
favorite Hillary Clinton as a middle finger to the Beltway orthodoxy
which did nothing but enrich the “swamp” Trump pretended
to oppose
on the campaign trail while ordinary Americans suffered.

Obama
openly defends his murderous drone wars in his new book.

He
also praised parts of Bush’s bogus “War on Terror,”

from all appearances it looks like Biden is going to be worse.

Unlike
Obama, Biden did not campaign on hope and change, he campaigned on
opposing
the socialist inclinations of Sanders progressives
and an aggressive foreign
policy
of planetary
domination.
He assured rich donors that nothing
will fundamentally change
under his presidency and his transition team is full of corporate
sociopaths,
war
pigs
and propagandists.
Biden has been a corporatist
warmongering authoritarian
throughout his entire career, and as his mental
capacity
continues to deteriorate he will function as nothing more than an
empty vessel for his establishment handlers to advance their most
pernicious agendas through.

If
I prove right about this, the Biden administration will
generate backlash just like that which arose in response to the Obama
administration, and that backlash will
be more severe than its previous iteration. This is absolutely
guaranteed. You can only oppress, neglect and enrage a population so
much before the discontent begins to grow.

There
is absolutely nothing American leftists can do to prevent this
backlash from coming. They will have absolutely no say in this
administration’s policies or behavior; BidenCorp has no reason to
listen to them, has made no pretense of having any interest in
listening to them, and is even freezing
Sanders and Warren
out of cabinet roles already.

All
US leftists will have any control over is whether this backlash will
break to the left, or if it will break to the far right.

Contrary
to what many mainstream liberals seem to have been imagining,
American racism and far right extremism did not begin with Trump, and
will not end with Trump. The white supremacists, xenophobes,
ethnonationalists, QAnon cultists and right wing militias are not
going anywhere after Biden takes office, and the backlash against his
administration and its worst impulses will be inflamed and co-opted
by mainstream Republican narrative managers. This will set the stage
for something a lot uglier than Trump down the road if it’s
successful.

What
the left can do is get ahead of the game. Take control of the
anti-Biden, anti-establishment pushback by leading the
charge–sooner, more aggressively, and more compellingly than the far
right does. Use the awfulness of the Biden administration to ignite a
true leftward zeitgeist in mainstream America that is so strong it
eclipses the inevitable rightist backlash in energy and appeal.

We
already know the American left has the ability to pull this off. The
grassroots, populist support for Bernie Sanders during his two
primary campaigns has been one of the most energized and inspired
political forces I’ve ever witnessed, consistently forcing aggressive
responses
from the establishment narrative managers
to contradict the damage it did to their preferred candidates.

The
problem with Bernie Twitter and the rest of his powerful support base
is that it only exists for a few months at a time, fizzling out when
it becomes clear that their candidate has had the door shut to him
and then reluctantly diverted into support for the establishment
candidate under the guidance of Sanders himself.

The
only thing more depressing than watching Bernie Twitter devolve from
soaring energy and inspiration to petty sectarianism and infighting
is watching it happen a second time.

But
imagine if that did not happen. Imagine if the US left realized how
extremely urgent it is to control the unavoidable backlash against
the Biden/Harris administration so that the right does not and built
momentum in a healthy direction instead, not for a few months but for
years on end. Seizing every disgusting, ridiculous and hilarious
thing this government does and attacking it, lampooning it, mocking
it, creating funny and interesting content absolutely wrecking it.

An
actual, energized counterculture could be created which could reshape
US culture as a whole. The Breitbart
crowd recognizes
that politics is downstream from culture while the left has generally
failed to make this connection, which is arguably why their guy is in
the White House right now and the left’s guy isn’t. A Biden
administration will provide ample fodder for attacks against status
quo politics, and this can be used to galvanize America’s hidden
progressive impulses
into a movement vastly greater than any one candidate.

But
the ball needs to start rolling on this now.
Not after the Georgia runoffs, not after Biden takes office, not
after the midterms: now.
The longer US leftists wait to start pushing this thing forward, the
less of a head start you’ll have on the rightists while they’re
fixated on Trump’s recounts and legal challenges. You’ll only be able
to lead the backlash if you get in early and hit the ground running
as fast as you can.

If
we know anything for certain, it’s that US power structures find it
infinitely preferable to deal with a right-populist movement that can
be appeased by some obnoxious tweets and an 8chan psyop than with
real leftist populism. They’re more than happy to throw the far right
a tax cut and some immigration restrictions, but real revolution can
only come from the left. There is an opportunity to create an opening
for that to occur, but it needs to happen before this thing can be
steered rightward.

I
know I’m regarded as a bit of a crackpot in some leftist circles; I’m
the girl a lot of lefties read in private but don’t share in public.
But this is a really important idea that needs to get out there, and
I’m hoping it reaches the eyes of some leftist thought leaders who
can advance it in their own words in their own way. This is very
urgent and the more people understand this the better shot we’ll all
have at creating a healthy world for everyone. Please get thinking
about this, everyone.

11 november: Armistice Day (Wapenstilstandsdag) of Remembrance Day, in de VS verworden tot verheerlijking van oorlog

Op 11
november is het Armistice Day (Wapenstilstandsdag) dat in een groot deel van de wereld
Remembrance Day wordt genoemd, de dag dat men de enorme aantallen
mensen, vooral militairen, herdenkt die tijdens de Eerste
Wereldoorlog in feite voor niets zijn gevallen…….

Op 11
november 1919 om 11.00 u. staakten de wapens aan de verschillende
fronten, ondanks dat zijn er op die dag nog 11.000 militairen
omgekomen in deze waanzinnige oorlog, die in feite niets anders was
dan een vervolg op de eerder gevoerde handelsoorlogen (ja echte
oorlogen in het belang van het grote bedrijfsleven….)

In de VS
heeft men Armistice Day omgedoopt in Veterans Day en dat na de
Koreaanse oorlog, waar men deze dag in de decennia daarvoor vierde
als dag van de vrede, tegelijk een dag dat men de doden herdacht en
het werken aan vrede om een herhaling van oorlog te voorkomen…..

In een
groot aantal andere landen die betrokken waren bij deze oorlog werd de
dag Remembrance Day genoemd en ook daar, zoals de naam al aangeeft,
herdacht men de doden en was men eveneens bezig te werken aan een
wereld zonder oorlog.

Echter
in de VS werd de dag gemilitariseerd, waar de wapenfabrikanten op een smerige
manier de bevolking voorhielden dat men oorlogen moest ondersteunen,
steun voor het in oorlog vermoorden van nog meer mannen, vrouwen en
kinderen, waar de bevolking werd voorgehouden dat men de eerder gevallen doden zou onteren als men zich niet achter nieuwe oorlogen zou scharen…… Het is dat ‘t zo triest is anders zou je je
kapotlachen………

Het
meest lullige is wel dat deze wapenfabrikanten samenwerken met
hooggeplaatste militairen, die samen lobbyen bij de politiek voor het
voeren van oorlog en nog lulliger: deze psychopathische moordenaars
hebben echt veel invloed…..

In de VS
is Veterans Day dus verworden tot een dag voor het verheerlijken van
oorlog, vandaar ook dat de organisatie Veterans for Peace in heel
veel steden niet mee mogen doen aan de parades die worden
gehouden…….

Niet
voor niets ook dat de VS zoveel oorlog kan voeren, immers
gehersenspoeld (o.a. op school en in kerkelijk verband) staat een
groot deel van het volk in de VS achter de oorlogen die deze
terreurentiteit over de wereld voert….. (in landen waar het niets,
maar dan ook helemaal niets te zoeken heeft….)

Moet je
nagaan wat een gestoord land de VS is, jezus……. Als je denkt dat
je het allemaal wel weet stuit je weer op dergelijke berichtgeving en
sta je alsnog verstomd te kijken……

voor vreemd opkijken van zaken hoef je niet naar de VS: in
Groot-Brittannië draagt men een papieren klaproos om de doden van de
Eerste en Tweede oorlog te herdenken en alle doden daarna, dat doen
ze bijvoorbeeld bij de BBC al dagen voor 11 november, terwijl die

Armistice Day Is coming 

 

November 11, 2020, is
Armistice Day 103 — which is 102 years since World War I was ended
at a scheduled moment
(11 o’clock on the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918 — killing
an extra 11,000 people after the decision to end the war had been
reached early in the morning).

In many parts of the world this day
is called Remembrance
Day and should be a
day of mourning the dead and working to abolish war so as not to
create any more war dead. But the day is being militarized, and a
strange alchemy cooked up by the weapons companies is using the day
to tell people that unless they support killing more men, women, and
children in war they will dishonor those already killed.

For decades in the United States,
as elsewhere, this day was called Armistice
Day, and was
identified as a holiday of peace, including by the U.S. government.
It was a day of sad remembrance and joyful ending of war, and of a
commitment to preventing war in the future. The holiday’s name was
changed in the United States after the U.S. war on Korea to “Veterans
Day,” a largely pro-war holiday on which some U.S. cities forbid
Veterans For Peace groups from marching in their parades, because the
day has become understood as a day to praise war — in contrast to
how it began.

The story from the first
Armistice Day of the last soldier killed in the last major war in
which most of the people killed were soldiers highlights the
stupidity of war. Henry
Nicholas John Gunther had been born in Baltimore, Maryland, to
parents who had immigrated from Germany. In September 1917 he had
been drafted to help kill Germans. When he had written home from
Europe to describe how horrible the war was and to encourage others
to avoid being drafted, he had been demoted (and his letter
censored). After that, he had told his buddies that he would prove
himself. As the deadline of 11:00 a.m. approached on that final day
in November, Henry got up, against orders, and bravely charged with
his bayonet toward two German machine guns. The Germans were aware of
the Armistice and tried to wave him off. He kept approaching and
shooting. When he got close, a short burst of machine gun fire ended
his life at 10:59 a.m. Henry was given his rank back, but not his
life.

Russiagate was een middel om de Koude Oorlog tegen Rusland te doen herleven

Caitlin Johnstone heeft een opzienbarende analyse gemaakt over Russiagate die
een ander licht werpt op deze zaak: het was geen couppoging tegen
Trump, zoals o.a. Sean Davis van The Federalist concludeerde, waar hij
stelde dat de directeur van de CIA, hare bloedige kwaadaardigheid Gina Haspel,
persoonlijk de poging heeft geblokkeerd om documenten vrij te geven
die e.e.a. zouden aantonen.

Volgens
Johnstone maakt het niet uit of Davis met zijn bewering wel of geen
gelijk heeft, maar dat het wel interessant is te zien dat Haspel
flink haar best heeft gedaan om Trump te bewegen de Koude Oorlog
tegen Rusland te doen herleven en dat zij één van de architecten is
van de hernieuwde Koude Oorlog (2.0) tegen Rusland, iets dat je
overigens de hardliners van de Demoncraten uh Democraten ook kan verwijten, vergeet
niet dat deze figuren in de zak zitten van wapenfabrikanten in de
breedste zin van het woord….. (het hoeft geen betoog dat een flink
aantal Republikeinen volkomen achter deze Koude Oorlog 2.0 staat,
Republikeinen die Russiagate als een couppoging tegen Trump
zagen en zien) Het is duidelijk dat Russiagate ervoor heeft gezorgd dat deze
Koude Oorlog inderdaad opnieuw is opgetuigd….

Volgens
Johnstone is Russiagate een ‘PSYOP’ (psychologische operatie) van het
geheime diensten kartel in de VS dat meer dan 25 geheime diensten
(‘inlichtingen diensten’) telt, onderdeel van Deep State, niet om
Trump uit het Witte Huis te krijgen, maar volkomen gericht tegen
Rusland…..

Niet
Trump werd het coup-slachtoffer van Russiagate*, nee Russiagate heeft
de nieuwe Koude Oorlog opgetuigd door het mogelijk maken van een hele
berg aan (loze) beschuldigingen tegen Rusland, aldus Johnstone en
gezien de gang van zaken kan ik niet anders dan haar gelijk
geven…..

Niet
alleen Rusland is de kwaaie pier, intussen worden ook China en Iran al een paar maanden lang
aangemerkt als manipulatoren van de presidentsverkiezingen in de VS,
het gaat zelfs zover dat men nu al zegt dat wanneer Trump wint,
Rusland aan het langste eind heeft getrokken, terwijl Iran en China de
grote winnaar zullen zijn als Joe Biden wint……. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Zo doorzichtig dat je je werkelijk afvraagt welke hersenloze idioten van de reguliere westerse (massa-) media deze onzin nog geloven (maar men brengt deze onzin met grote graagte in die media…..)…..

De
reguliere westerse (massa-) media doen dan ook voor bijna 100% mee aan deze
hysterie van ‘kwaadaardige inmenging’ en zo kunnen de westerse bevolkingen bijna dag in
dag uit worden gehersenspoeld met dergelijke baarlijke nonsens……. (vergeet niet dat deze media en het grootste deel van de westerse poltici het lullige Russiagate sprookje ‘nog steeds geloven’ en uitdragen, ondanks dat deze leugen aan alle kanten is doorgeprikt)

Johnstone
stelt aan het eind van haar betoog terecht dat de geheime diensten in
de VS** degenen zijn die het meest hebben geprofiteerd
van Russiagate, terwijl zij deze leugen de wereld in hebben
geholpen…..

All Russiagate Did Was Advance Pre-Existing Agenadas Of The Same Spy Agencies Who Started It

One
of the many interesting stories that has gotten lost in the shuffle
over the controversy over the horrible Trump-Biden debate and the
president’s recent Covid-19 diagnosis is the recent allegation
by The
Federalist‘s
Sean Davis
that CIA director Gina Haspel has been personally blocking the
declassification of incriminating documents pertaining to the origins
of the Trump-Russia collusion conspiracy theory known as Russiagate.

Davis’
claim may be true or false, but it’s worth earmarking for later
reference given that we already know Haspel has
been actively persuading the
US president to roll out cold war escalations against Russia, and
given that we know the only real changes of consequence that have
come about as a result of Russiagate are changes which advanced the
longstanding agendas of the same intelligence agencies who started
it.

The
mainstream Democratic partisan narrative has been that investigations
into possible collusion between the Trump camp and Moscow were
designed to ascertain whether the US government had been co-opted at
its highest levels by a hostile foreign power, with countless human
clickbait pundits claiming earlier in Trump’s term that these
investigations would result in Trump being dragged out of the White
House in chains. The mainstream Republican partisan narrative has
been that the president was the target of a soft coup attempt by the
deep state using false allegations of Russian collusion in an attempt
to remove him from office for standing up to the deep state.

Like
most partisan narratives, these are both false.

It
is correct that the conspiratorial allegations of Vladimir Putin
secretly controlling the executive branch of the US government were
bogus. It is also correct that Russiagate was a psyop advanced by
forces in the US intelligence cartel who are sometimes collectively
referred to as a part of the “deep state”, though that term
has become largely meaningless in recent years due to Trumpists
twisting its meaning into “Democrats and anyone who doesn’t like
Trump”. But both Republicans and Democrats are mistaken in
believing that Russiagate had anything to do with removing Trump from
office.

Russiagate
was never a deep state operation targeting Trump; Russiagate has
always been a deep state operation targeting Russia. You may be sure
this is true because while Russiagate has not had any significant
negative effect on Trump, it has greased the wheels for the
escalation of many
new cold war aggressions
against Russia.

Anyone
who was informed and unbiased knew that the Mueller investigation
would never touch Trump (even as a newbie at the time I
correctly called
it back in 2017),
and anyone who was capable of counting Senate seats knew impeachment
would result in acquittal.

far as Trump’s presidential career is concerned all Russiagate ever
accomplished was galvanizing his Republican base around the

false notion
that he is fighting the establishment.

what has Russiagate accomplished in relation to Russia? The political
pressure it placed on Trump to act tough on Moscow and the Democratic

Putin have ensured that there is nothing but acceleration for a
world-threatening

which has seen nuclear treaties abandoned, a much more aggressive
nuclear posture against Russia, weapons sent to Ukraine, many
sanctions on Russia, airstrikes on Russia’s ally Syria, sanctions on
Russia’s ally Venezuela, the Iran deal shredded against urging from
Moscow, NATO expansionism and increased military activity at Russia’s
borders.

These
aggressions were all planned years in advance. Obama
initiated them,
the frighteningly anti-Russiahawk
Hillary Clinton was scheduled
to continue and expand
them, and then when that fell through the Russiagate contingency was
rolled out to ensure the US intelligence cartel would get its
long-sought campaign to shove Russia off the world stage and thereby
hamstring
its ally China.

James Clapper combined with a steady stream of bogus “leaks”

The
question “Who
benefits from this?”
is essential for understanding the world, and if you ask it of
Russiagate there is one power structure which stands head and
shoulders above everyone else. Yes, the mass media got a major
ratings bump from Russiagate, which is why they played along with it.
Yes, the Democratic Party got to neuter the progressive movement and
distract from its 2016 scandals, which is why they played along with
it. But in terms of actual changes that were implemented as a direct
result of Russiagate, the ones who gained the most were the US
intelligence collective whose pre-existing agendas were advanced by
it.

Not
only were pre-existing agendas against Russia facilitated by
Russiagate, but pre-existing agendas against the American left were
facilitated as well. The burgeoning swell of progressive populism
galvanized by the 2016 Sanders campaign would have made a lot of
warmongers nervous, and the opaque government agencies which
consistently ally
themselves with status quo-loyal plutocrats
have a vested interest in protecting the class with which they are
allied. The fact that all oxygen was sucked from the progressive
movement into baseless Russia conspiracy theories served the same
intelligence cartel which initiated Russiagate.

In
January of last year a former Assistant Director for the FBI (the
same FBI which wordlessly allowed the bogus Steele dossier to
circulate despite knowing
its intelligence had been compromised)
admitted
that his work with the FBI had included actively sabotaging leftist
politicians in the United States to keep them out of government. This
officer’s entire
FBI career
took place after J Edgar Hoover’s death and after COINTELPRO had
officially been ended.

narrative that we are being primed for will enable these same spy
agencies to sell the story that at least one of the governments they
have targeted for sabotage can be accused of election interference
regardless of who wins.

And
the most depressing thing about it is that they already know they’ll
be able to sell it successfully, because nobody has learned anything
over the last four years despite the transparent scam of Russiagate.
Democrats will happily keep pushing Russia conspiracy theories if
Trump wins, and Republicans will cheerfully push conspiracy theories
about China and/or Iran after a Biden win. There’s no reason to
change strategies if it’s been immensely successful. If it ain’t
broke, don’t fix it.

Watch
them.

Phil
Butler heeft een artikel geplaatst New Eastern Outlook (NEO) (wat ik
overnam van Information Clearing House) waarin hij de VS analyseert als een duivels imperium dat erop gericht is haar
macht te vergroten ten koste van andere landen en hun bevolking,
vooral te zien hoe men in de Trump administratie en de geheime diensten van de VS spreekt over Rusland, China, Iran, Venezuela en
Noord-Korea.

Butler
richt zich met name op Rusland, nadat hij heeft geconstateerd dat
er geen sprake is van een echte democratie in de VS, zoals er ‘ook geen’
sprake is van vrijheid of dat de VS burger ver uitsteekt boven de
rest van de mensheid, zoals men daar onder een groot deel van het volk gelooft. (overigens veel Nederlanders geloven ook dat zij meer zijn dan de rest van de wereldbevolking)

Hoe is
het mogelijk dat de VS de ondergang wenst van Rusland, terwijl er
nooit een oorlog is geweest tussen deze landen, een oorlog met grote
grafvelden vol met VS militairen en toch roept men victorie als
blijkt dat de vruchtbaarheid van de Russen steeds meer te wensen
overlaat, zo verzucht Butler……

Butler
wijst op de mediaorganen van Rupert Murdoch die Rusland keer op keer
demoniseren, wat volgens hem te wijten is aan het feit dat Murdoch en
zijn News Corp in 1998 samen met een oligarch Boris
Berezovskyde
Russische maatschappij wilde manipuleren, waarbij zich ook spuugrijke
figuren als Ted Turner voegden, echter aan deze avonturen maakte
Putin een eind door oligarchen te vervolgen en hen in feite dwong het
land te verlaten. Volgen Butler is dat de reden dat News Corp en andere mediaorganen Rusland demoniseren. Overigens Butler heeft het niet voor
niets over News Corp, daar meerdere oligarchen News Corp steunen voor de
demonisering van Putin en Rusland.

Heb
een paar reacties toegevoegd onder het hieronder opgenomen artikel,
waarin men o.a. Butler verwijt ontwaakt te zijn uit een diepe coma en
dat hij vergeet de rest van de reguliere media in de VS te noemen,
die even hard op de Anti-Russische propagandatrommel roffelen, wat
mij betreft heeft dat laatste in deze reactie geen punt, immers Butler noemt dit wel met de volgende zin:

fails’. Wel fijn dat Drew Hunkins in deze reactie een fiks aantal mediaorganen noemt, je kan wat dat betreft de reguliere mediaorganen niet genoeg aan de paal nagelen, mediaorganen die ‘iets’ te vaak de woorden fake news (nepnieuws) durven te gebruiken, terwijl dit geïnstitutionaliseerdis
bij diezelfde media…… (en ja dat geldt ook voor die media in ons
land, van NRC tot Telegraaf en van de ‘onafhankelijke’ NOS tot WNL……)

Vergeet voorts niet dat deze
media zonder uitzondering in handen zijn van steenrijke figuren die
aandelen hebben in de meest lucratieve bedrijven: waarvan de belangrijkste wel die van de
wapenindustrie is (aangevuld met oliemaatschappijen en de farmaceutische industrie, Ap*) 

Voorts is er een reactie te lezen waarin wordt gesteld dat er wel degelijk een oorlog
plaatsvond tussen de VS en Rusland, dit tijdens de revolutie in
Rusland, waar de VS en andere westerse landen Rusland hebben aangevallen om de
‘communistische revolutie’ de nek om te draaien, ofwel een in feite
illegale oorlog die werd georganiseerd en vooral werd gesteund door de
VS……

unpredictable world. American’s are supposed to be different. Or so
we were told. But we are no different from citizens of any ancient
empire.

I was
reading this morning a story on the Wall Street Journal, which is
supposed to be a financial newspaper. The title, especially given the
situation in the world now, slapped me hard across the face. The
title read:

“Pandemic
Upends Putin’s Plans to Raise Russia’s Dwindling Birthrate”

“What
are they wishing for here?” this is what I asked myself. For, you
see, this is what editorial is, a mirror into the desired effect. As
journalists or analysts were are trained to present cases and Rupert
Murdoch’s newspaper trains its cause toward the destruction of the
evil billionaire’s enemies. And the Australian born American media
mogul hate Vladimir Putin and Russia. He wants the Russian people to
die out, and his scribes spend their days writing a bible about how
it can happen. Come on, it’s not so difficult to see.

You
can’t read the whole story of wonderful infertility in Russia.
Because the Wall Street Journal has a paywall. This fact not only
ensures that Murdoch gets his twenty pieces of silver, but it also
certifies that the audience of bankers, brokers, and politicians who
consume WSJ content get what they want. An old testament to a world
where Russia is a history chapter in the New World Order’s religion
of greed and chaos.

But why?
Doesn’t every American wonder how we’ve managed to go nowhere in
the more than seven decades since World War 2? Black lives still
don’t matter in the US? And neither do, red, yellow, brown, Slavic,
Celtic, Christian, or Muslim ones anywhere. And least of all, do
Russian children matter – but why? When did Russia attack America?
Where are the dead and buried in America’s wars with the USSR or
Russia? Are the memorial cemeteries secret? Has the liberal order
that’s run things hidden from us the very premise on which we base
our almost religious fear and hatred of a people?

No.
There are no battalions of dead warriors from the Russo-American war.
Because there never was such a war. I wonder why we can’t ask “why”
on that one? Oh, I am sorry. It’s because Australian-American
billionaires and golf playing American presidents protected us from
the evil Putin and the war-hungry Ruskies! Yeah, I forgot.

I want
to end this observation today with a couple more questions. First,
and foremost, how can we Americans stand idly by and watch the
foundations of our country destroyed? How can we fight amongst
ourselves over problems that should no longer exist, while the
purveyors of every evil we ever fought against, they are thriving in
their ivory towers? Second, how did we get to be so mean and nasty?
Or, were we always hoping Russians or Iranians or Chinese people
would have more hardship? And Murdoch, the man referred to as “the
man whose name is synonymous with unethical newspapers,” is but one
of the privateers hell-bent on taking his share of Russia if Putin
fails.

I won’t
delve too deeply into Murdoch’s Russian ventures but ousted
oligarch Sergei Pugachev and many others align with the News Corp
dictator. The thrives Putin uncovered and banished from Russia are
the henchmen who would butcher her people for their gold. Here’s
where it
started, back in 1998, when News Corp. made the move to influence
Russia the way it influences the west. You may recognize another
famous name from the UPI story, which begins:

“Media
mogul Rupert Murdoch’s News Corporation has entered the Russian
market, joining with Russian tycoon Boris Berezovsky in a venture
holding exclusive rights to sell advertising time on two major
Russian television networks, ORT Channel 1 and TV-6.”

Murdoch,
Ted Turner, and other media moguls had
their sights on expanding their propaganda/advertising businesses
into Russia back when. Eventually, Vladimir Putin’s straight game
of preserving Russia for Russians ran contrary to their plans, they
pulled out, and we see the revenge they take every time we pick up a
newspaper or turn on the TV.

In
America, and in much of the so-called “west”, a subculture of
thought, academia, journalism, and business has taught anti-Russia
narrative for generations now.

However,
what concerns me is not deep think, Cold War policy still going on
behind the scenes in Washington and Moscow. What bothers me is how we
Americans allow such unfair and improper relations to go on. Russia
was never a real enemy, only a contrived perceptual opponent made so
by our imperialist drive for control. The United States, more than
any other country in the world, has become rich and powerful at the
expense of the world, not alongside the world. This is an
incontrovertible truth. But a truth any “Trumpster” would fight
to the death to hide. We create so much harm and destroy so much
goodwill believing in these lies. We condone things like races of
people just “dying out” – and THIS is what those headlines
mean.

This is
not the country I went into the armed forces to defend. This is not
the country may parents, grandparents, and ancestors pledge
allegiance to their entire lives. Americans are not supposed to be
unfair, cruel, bad sports, and ruthless. We’re just not supposed to
be.

Save The
Internet is een internationale organisatie die wordt gevormd door
particulieren, zakenmensen en non-profit organisaties, zij willen de
netneutraliteit beschermen voor censuur, gebruikt om o.a. ‘fake news’ (nepnieuws) op
het internet tegen te gaan…..

Wat
betreft dat nepnieuws is het overduidelijk dat vooral de reguliere
westerse (massa-) media zich daar op grove wijze aan beschuldigen, neem alleen al de
berichtgeving voorafgaand aan en tijdens de illegale oorlogen die de
VS deze eeuw is begonnen, dit met hulp van andere
NAVO-lidstaten waaronder Nederland: alle leugens die deze oorlogen een legitiem tintje moesten geven, leugens van de geheime diensten van de VS en het Pentagon, werden zonder enig commentaar overgenomen…….

Als er al sprake was van enige kritiek was deze niet ter zake doende, of zodanig geformuleerd dat de argeloze lezer/kijker/luisteraar daar niets mee aankon, sterker nog: niet zelden verzon men er zelfs nog wat verhalen bij, zoals de Nederlandse ‘oorlogscorrespondenten’ Eikelboom en Hans Jaap Melissen…. De laatste Melissen was een korte periode embedded bij een notoire terreurgroep in Syrië, maar waar hij over berichtte als waren het oud-verzetsstrijders tegen de nazi-Duitse bezetter in Nederland….. In werkelijkheid betrof het figuren die zich bezighielden met het terroriseren van de bevolking middels onthoofdingen, stenigingen, verkrachtingen, amputaties en ronduit moorden op grote schaal, alles ‘gelegitimeerd’ middels de sharia wetgeving…..  

Bovendien waren en zijn dit terreurgroepen die met instemming van de VS en haar NAVO partners gifgas hebben ingezet tegen het Syrische volk, puur en alleen om deze daarna in de schoenen  te schuiven van Assad en hem daarmee te demoniseren bij de westerse bevolkingen (zogenaamde false flag operaties…)…. 

Het was bekend bij de VS en haar terreurorganisatie NAVO dat deze terreurgroepen over gifgas beschikten, zoals chlorine en sarin, maar gaven daar uiteraard geen ruchtbaarheid aan, laat staan dat men deze terreurgroepen verplichtte deze gassen over te dragen…. Een
aantal organen van de reguliere westerse media moeten dit hebben
geweten echter men bleef daar de leugens herhalen dat ‘het beest Assad’
zijn volk vergastte……. Zelfs Obama gaf indertijd toe dat het (soevereine) Syrische bewind géén gifgas gebruikte tegen het volk……

Die reguliere media, zijn in
handen van schunnig rijke figuren die er alle belang bij hebben dat
bijvoorbeeld de oorlogsindustrie en de farmaceutische maffia de
grootste winsten blijven maken, vandaar ook de grootschalige lobby voor deze ‘takken van sport…..’ Uiteraard willen deze figuren
niet dat er wordt getornd aan het neoliberale (verdien) model waar het
overgrote deel van de westerse landen aan is onderworpen, immers dat
model is vooral in het belang van de grote bedrijven en de
welgestelden….. Niet voor niets ook dat de reguliere westerse media bijna dagelijks bezig zijn om haat en angst te zaaien tegen resp. voor Rusland en China….. Terwijl niet deze landen de ene na de andere oorlog aangaan, maar dat dit juist de grootste terreurentiteit is op onze kleine planeet, te weten de VS, met hulp van de door haar militair geleide terreurorganisatie NAVO, waardoor alleen deze eeuw al ruim meer dan 2,5 miljoen mensen zijn vermoord…….

Gezien
het voorgaande is het dan ook niet vreemd dat men zo tekeergaat tegen
de sociale media, daar juist op die plek de enorme berg aan leugens van
westerse politici en reguliere media worden doorgeprikt…… Anders
gezegd: men gebruikt juist nepnieuws als middel om de eigen positie
te beschermen en de genoemde industrieën en andere
bedrijven/multinationals als de oliemaatschappijen de grootste
winsten te laten maken, terwijl elke terechte kritiek daarop wordt
afgedaan als nepnieuws en manipulatie van de bevolking!!

Jammer dat Save The Internet geen aandacht schenkt aan het feit dat de verschillende westerse overheden* steeds vaker ingrijpen door computers van gebruikers te hacken en zo een niet welgevallige site of blog plat te leggen……..

Lees de
volgende tekst van Change.org, waarin o.a. wordt gewezen op regels
die men in Duitsland wil invoeren, zodat je bij elk woord dat je
plaatst op het internet je volledige naam, adres, geboortedatum en
foto moet plaatsen….. ‘Leuk ook’ als je kritiek levert op misdaden

So we are not running out of work and we continue to fight for your

Stakeholder dialogue on
copyright reform

Together with other civil
society organisations, we had jointly asked the European
Commission to make the Guidelines available.

We see this as a great success for
the transparency of the whole process and will keep you informed. 

Due to the corona pandemic, the
stakeholder dialogue will unfortunately no longer take place on site,
but written statements will be submitted by each organisation
involved.

Why the preliminary guidelines for
implementation are so important: It contains guidance and best
practice proposals for each EU Member State to help them implement
the DSM Directive. The opinions of the individual organisations
participating in the stakeholder dialogue are also taken into
account.

In Europe, unfortunately,
politicians have not created the appropriate framework conditions in
recent decades, and in the hardware and software industry we have
largely lost touch internationally. In order to conceal this,
artificial intelligence and especially BigData is now being
proclaimed as a saviour. The consequence will be the accumulation of
huge mountains of data, especially personal data of citizens. A
massive invasion of our privacy and violation of our digital
integrity at all levels will be the consequence.

Platform
liability (Digital Service Act)

All digital services and especially
online platforms should be able to be held liable for all content in
the future. This regulation is extremely comprehensive and is
intended to cover hate crime, disinformation, copyright, as well as
written works, audio or video content. The obligation to use clear
names is also demanded. At the same time, the economy opposes any
restrictions on advertising! This proposal as it is right now will
ultimately turn the Internet upside down.

It
stipulates that all users must register with their full name, address
and date of birth on all platforms. The whole thing is even to be
verified by photo identification.

For example, every user of social
media or gaming platforms should be given their full name, WITH

card, passport or other document valid according to national law.

Dacht
even dat ik erin bleef toen ik afgelopen vrijdag 29 mei de
kop boven een artikel van Unearthed (Greenpeace) zag:
wapenfabrikanten die zich voorbereiden op de klimaatverandering en zich richten op het verduurzamen van oorlogsvoering……

Tja,
oorlogsvoering is in alle opzichten een heel smerige klus, dus dat
moet schoner kunnen hebben de oplichters bedacht!! (in een hersenstorm van 2 weken)

Eén en
ander geeft ten overvloede nog eens aan dat grote bedrijven zich maar
wat graag ‘greenwashen’ in de openbaarheid en zich daarbij voordoen
als de beschermers van het klimaat, terwijl ze de wereld in een
noodtempo onbewoonbaar maken…….

Hoe kan
je in godsnaam proberen om duurzaam oorlog te voeren, dit is zonder
meer een contradictio in terminis die z’n weerga niet kent!!! Steden bombarderen,
mensenlevens vernietigen en ga nog maar een half uur door, alsof dat
niet alleen hele gebieden en steden in puin legt, maar ook de
klimaatverandering een enorme duw in de rug geeft……

Het is als VVD premier en aartsleugenaar Rutte die het gore lef had te zeggen dat er dik geld verdiend kan worden aan de klimaatverandering, terwijl hij en zijn kabinet Rutte 3 (inclusief de 2 voorgaande) amper of niets doen tegen de klimaatverandering….. De wapenfabrikanten zien dat hun klanten, afzonderlijke landen, het belangrijk vinden om te spreken over duurzaamheid en daar haken deze fabrikanten op in, door het greenwashen van hun producten….. Zo van: als de gemiddelde burger maar denkt dat we duurzaam bezig zijn, is er ‘geen vuiltje aan de lucht’, dezelfde afweging die neoliberale en inhumane regeringen als Rutte 3 gebruiken…….

De
hoogste tijd dat de grote wapenfabrikanten op de internationale
terreurlijst worden geplaatst, immers zij behoren tot de
hoofdverantwoordelijken voor vele tientallen miljoenen moorden, waarbij ze ook nog eens verantwoordelijk zijn voor een uitermate vuil productieproces dat funest is als je de klimaatverandering wilt afremmen en met het gebruik van hun producten deze klimaatverandering op een gigantische manier aanjagen…… (producten als: wapens, munitie, rollend, varend en vliegend oorlogstuig, plus wapensystemen) 

Het
doel van verduurzaming is de aarde te redden voor generaties na ons,
terwijl wapenfabrikanten compleet voor het tegenovergestelde staan:
zoveel mogelijk oorlogvoeren, waarbij zelfs de komende generaties in de
vorm van kleine kinderen worden vermoord……. Deze wapenfabrikanten gaan voor de grote winsten ook als de
aarde en een groot deel van de mensheid daarvoor naar god moet worden geholpen……..

Figuren
die zich bezighouden met duurzame oorlogsvoering zouden (als de ontwikkelaars van wapens en wapensystemen) voor de rest
van hun leven gevangen moeten worden gezet, immers dit zijn
psychopaten van een smerig niveau zo als nog maar zelden is gezien,
levensgevaarlijke oplichters en massamoordenaars!!! (‘duurzame massamoorden’, hoe zot moet je zijn…..)

How weapons manufacturers are preparing for climate change - Unearthed

Arms makers are
putting forward energy efficient lasers, solar submarines and gas
powered assault ships as their contribution to tackling the climate
crisis

From
solar submarines to low carbon lasers: the climate crisis is giving
weapons manufacturers new opportunities to hawk their deadly wares
with eco-friendly marketing.

Unearthed
and VICE have gone through documents prepared by some of the world’s
biggest weapons manufacturers to see how they are responding to the
climate emergency. 

We’ve
learned that the arms industry fears cuts in fossil fuel use will
undermine demand for highly polluting products like tanks, planes and
ships. But from developing new, greener weapons to spotting
“financial opportunities” amid threats to public safety caused by
environmental disaster, the industry is looking for ways the climate
crisis can increase sales.

Raytheon,
an American aerospace and defence company which had net sales worth
in
excess of $27 billion in 2018, told the Carbon
Disclosure Project(CDP)
last year that it’s investing in technologies that are either “low
carbon or do not require as much fossil fuel”. So you can give
Mother Earth a big hug at the same time as you eviscerate your
enemies from the battlefield.

In
a report submitted to the CDP – a small NGO which asks major
companies to detail their climate plans annually – that it was
putting its money into “high powered microwave systems”, which
apparentlycan
be used to disable multiple drones at once, and “high energy laser
weapon systems”. A video posted on Raytheon’s
YouTube channelshows
the lasers easily swatting drones and missiles out of the sky like a
game of low-carbon Space Invaders.

BAE
Systems says it is testing new equipment in a ‘wider range of
temperatures than similar products have been specified for in the
past’

BAE
Systems, the British firm which has played a leading
role in supplying the Saudi air forcewith
materials for its war in Yemen, wrote in its 2019 CDP submission that
it was testing new equipment in a “wider range of temperatures than
similar products have been specified for in the past”, many of its
key markets, including the Middle East, face increasing extremes of
heat if temperatures rise unabated.

Reduce,
re-use, recycle are the watch words of the eco-conscious everywhere,
and in the UK, the Ministry
of Defencehas
said it is looking to cut down on plastic and other forms of waste by
reusing “munition packages”, used to hold everything from bullets
to missile components. 

Lockheed
Martin cites its venture capital arm, Lockheed Martin Ventures, in
its CDP submission. The firm has investments in several robotics
firms and a Californian business called Ocean Aero which makes solar
powered submarines. 

According to Ocean Aero’s
website, these solar submarines can tackle illegal fishing and help
with environmental monitoring. But in an article jointly
published by Ocean Aero and Lockheed Martin in 2018, sets out,
they can also be used for silently killing people.

“In
the future, it is clear that the Submaran™ will be ‘missionized,’”
it says euphemistically. 

The document adds that such missions likely
use “a variety of Lockheed Martin payloads and systems integration
expertise, to become the cross-domain lynchpin of a ‘system of
systems’ performing a diverse assortment of potential missions,
including those requiring a covert platform.” 

Several
firms warn that new regulations aimed at addressing climate change by
limiting fossil fuel productions and greenhouse gas emissions could
negatively affect their businesses. Research published last summer by
Brown
Universityfound
that the US military produces more CO2 emissions annually than some
countries, including Portugal and Sweden. 

That’s
one of the reasons why firms say they are moving to reduce emissions
and transitioning to renewable energy to power their factories and
offices. Lockheed Martin, for example, talks up its new “biomass
boiler system” at its facility in New York in its 2010 response
to PWC*. This year, Northrop Grumman said it met its own target of
reducing its absolute greenhouse gas emissions by 30% from 2010
levels this year.

But
despite the eye-catching initiatives, the changes appear mostly
cosmetic. The customers for these companies are national governments,
the same governments stalling progress to tackle climate change and
publicly doubting the science under-pinning it. These firms can’t
really act in a significant way if their customers don’t want them
to. 

Climate
change is likely to mean more instability in the world. More conflict
as resources decline and more migration as parts of the world become
difficult to live in.  

A
2015
memorandumto
Congress from the US Department of Defence read: “Climate change is
an urgent and growing threat to our national security, contributing
to increased natural disasters, refugee flows, and conflicts over
basic resources such as food and water.”

Several
defence companies are looking at this trend and seeing an
opportunity. Lockheed Martin told us it works with governments and
companies to improve climate monitoring. 

French firm Thales told the
CDP that it could see increased demand for the company’s weather
forecasting technologies. There could also be more demand for new
equipment to help on humanitarian missions, trucks and ships to help
in evacuations, for example. 

With
political leadership it is possible that these companies could
contribute more than just coming up with less energy intensive ways
to blow things up, or new weapons with which to fight each other as
the crisis worsens. 

The
coronavirus pandemic has shown for the first time since the Second
World War that major companies can be forced to work for the public
good. In the UK, a consortium
of nearly 30 companies, including Airbus, Rolls-Royce and
McLaren, are currently working to supply the NHS with urgently needed
ventilators. 

However,
Steve Chisnall, a lecturer in International Security and Strategy at
Southampton University, said that environmental opportunities are
likely to be “small beer”.

He
said: “They’re always going to want to sell big weapons systems
because that’s where the money is.” 

Chisnall,
who spent a career in the RAF before entering academia, believes that

manufacturing expertise, could play an important role in transforming
the global economy. 

But for
now, they’ll probably just keep reacting to the world as it is.
“These companies know a huge amount about climate change. They have
huge research teams and tremendous resources. The problem is that,
like the rest of us, they don’t know what the future of security is
going to be,” says Chisnall.

As if
to prove his point, shortly after talking up its work on weather
forecasting, in its submission to the CDP, French arms giant Thales
mentions the possible “financial opportunities” in the area of
“public safety” as the climate changes.
