Gistermorgen werd bekendgemaakt dat niet zoals afgelopen vrijdag werd gemeld, het ministerie van Volksgezondheid (het ministerie van de zwaar disfunctionerende CDA sukkel de Jonge), al op 23 juli wist dat de GGD de contactonderzoeken naar Coronabesmetting niet kon doen in de daarvoor vrijgemaakte 5 uur, maar daar 8 uur voor nodig had, nee dat wist het ministerie al op 15 mei jl., ofwel 2 maanden eerder….. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!
Extra lachwekkend daar op die dag, dus 15 mei jl., een opschaling plaats vond van de Coronaregels en toen werd doodleuk nogmaals gemeld dat de GGD voor een contactonderzoek 5 uur nodig had…….. Kortom we zijn niet 1 keer, maar 2 keer belazerd door de Jonge!!
Bovendien had de Jonge al vanaf 15 mei moeten zorgen dat er als de bliksem GGD personeel bij werd gezocht, maar nee, de mislukte praalhans had het te druk met de verkiezing t.b.v. het CDA voorzitterschap……
Daarbij hebben de kabinetten Rutte 2 en 3 zich niet bemoeid met de gemeentelijke bezuinigingen op de GGD, terwijl men uiteraard had moeten ingrijpen, zoals men ook had moeten ingrijpen toen ziekenhuizen werden gesloten (waarmee ook nog eens IC bedden verdwenen), ook daarvoor is de Jonge mede verantwoordelijk…..
De Jonge had het voorgaande moeten weten, zo was er nogal wat ophef toen men in 2016 besloot te bezuinigen op de soa (geslachtsziekten) zorg van de GGD en natuurlijk was de Jonge daar destijds van op de hoogte. ook al was hij toen nog geen minister….. (kan er niet precies ‘de vinger achter krijgen’ [nogal smerig in dit verband], maar het lijkt erop dat dit soa bezuinigingsbeleid wel door de overheid was ingegeven, in dit geval Rutte 2, dus door VVD en PvdA……)
Moet je nagaan in datzelfde 2016 werd Rutte 2 (en daarmee ook het latere Rutte 3) door de geheime diensten gewaarschuwd dat Nederland niet klaar was voor een pandemie!!! Dus ondanks die waarschuwing is men doorgegaan met bezuinigen op de GGD en heeft men niet ingegrepen toen ziekenhuizen werden gesloten…….
Eén ding is zeker: in een normale democratie was een minister als de Jonge vanwege het voorgaande al lang opgestapt (waar de genoemde zaken nog maar het spreekwoordelijke topje van de ijsberg zijn), maar niet in Nederland en reken maar dat de Jonge blijft zitten, totaal verstoken van enige moraliteit en ethisch besef…. Schandalig genoeg wordt de Jonge, als de al even disfunctionerende VVD premier Rutte, door de reguliere (afhankelijke) media de hemel in geprezen……… Onbegrijpelijk!!
The
Saker heeft een analyse geschreven over de situatie in
Wit-Rusland (Belarus) n.a.v. de verkiezingen in dat land.
Volgens
de Saker is het duidelijk dat de CIA, de Oekraïense geheime dienst
SBU en de Wit-Russische geheime dienst KGB de boel manipuleren in
Wit-Rusland. “Honderden Russen’ zouden naar Wit-Rusland zijn
gestuurd om de boel de destabiliseren, informatie die van de
Oekraïense SBU kwam, deze mannen werden afgeschilderd als
terroristen, opstandelingen en leden van de Russische Wagner PMC
(Private Military Company)…… (het gaat overigens niet om ‘honderden Russen’ maar om een dertigtal)
Achteraf
blijkt het dat deze Russen (veiligheidsagenten) werden ingehuurd door
een veiligheidsbedrijf in Wit-Rusland en zouden op doorreis zijn
geweest naar landen als Soedan en Venezuela. Echter ‘ze mistten de
aansluitende vlucht’ en waren daarom genoodzaakt te overnachten in Minsk.
Diezelfde nacht overviel een zwaar bewapend ‘KGB’ team het hotel en
werden deze mannen gearresteerd, terwijl de Russen niet eens in het bezit waren van wapens….
Daarop
werd Rusland beschuldigd chaos en geweld te willen uitlokken in
Wit-Rusland, een vergelijking met het Maidan plein In de Oekraïense
hoofdstad Kiev, al werd de opstand in Oekraïne georganiseerd en
geregisseerd door de CIA…… Hillary Clinton destijds minister van
BuZa onder ‘vredesduif’ Obama trok daar zelfs 4 miljard dollar voor
uit en ook het geweld tegen demonstranten door sluipschutters, kwam
rechtstreeks uit de koker van de CIA…… (zo meer daarover)
De claim
dat Rusland de boel zou willen destabiliseren in Wit-Rusland is meer
dan belachelijk, daar Rusland wel uitkijkt om geweld aan te wenden in
Wit-Rusland. De informatie waarop deze leugen is gebaseerd kwam zoals gezegd van
de ‘uiterst betrouwbare’ Oekraïense SBU……. Bovendien zo voert de
Saker aan weet de Wit-Russische KGB alles wat er gebeurd in
Wit-Rusland en daarmee bedoelt hij letterlijk alles, ofwel de claim
dat deze Russen onrust wilden zaaien (en het bewind van
Loekasjenko omver zouden willen werpen) is grote nonsens, waar
de kennis van de KGB over alles wat zich afspeelt in Wit-Rusland alleen maar het gegeven versterkt dat Rusland geen geweld zou
gebruiken tegen het bewind in Minsk……
Lees het
uitvoerige relaas van de Saker en verbaas je (zoals ik) over de
machinaties van alweer het westen in Oost-Europa en die er volledig
op is gericht om van Wit-Rusland een zoveelste vazalstaat van de VS
(en de door haar militair geleide NAVO) te maken, zeker als je nagaat dat dit land strategisch
is gelegen….. Mocht het de VS lukken om van Wit-Rusland een vazalstaat als te maken, zoals Oekraïne, heeft Rusland weer een deel van
haar grens waar de VS en haar NAVO-lidstaten met een leger op de
drempel van haar voordeur staan, zoals dit al het geval is met de
Baltische Staten, een deel van Oekraïne en ga nog maar even
door…….
Ben het overigens niet eens met de Saker wat betreft de voormalige Oekraïense president Janoekovitsj. Deze president was wel democratisch verkozen en dat in door internationale waarnemers goedgekeurde verkiezingen….. En ja, Janoekovytsj had vooral veel aanhang in het oosten van Oekraïne en op De Krim (inclusief de oorspronkelijke bevolking van dat schiereiland). Waarschijnlijk doelt de Saker op het geweld dat werd gebruikt op het Maidanplein tegen demonstranten, terwijl dat zoals gezegd het resultaat was van VS manipulatie, zoals ook ‘de opstand’ daar werd georganiseerd door de CIA….. Het feit dat Janoekovytsj ‘pro-Russisch’ was had alles te maken met een voor Oekraïne heel lucratief vrijhandelsverdrag dat hij sloot met Rusland, terwijl een verdrag met de EU uiterst onvoordelig was voor Oekraïne……(iets waar je de westerse reguliere media en politici nooit over hoort!!)
Onder
het artikel kan je klikken voor een ‘Dutch vertaling’ dit neemt wel

and Russia are facing a very serious crisis in Belarus

– Some of my longtime readers might have noticed that I rarely
(if ever!) wrote about Belarus or President Lukashenko. As
always with the blog, there always is a reason for why I do mention
something and no less a reason why I do not mention something.
In the case of Belarus or Lukashenko, my reason for not writing about
them was the exact same why I never wrote about the Ukraine before
2013: I was both uninspired and mostly disgusted with what I saw
taking place there. And I did not feel strongly enough to write
about it. That changed for the Ukraine with the Euromaidan.
Now the events in
Belarus force me to address this very unpleasant topic: Belarus is
facing a complex and dangerous crisis which might well result in a
major crisis inside Belarus and even a loss of sovereignty. But
first, before we look into what just happened, let me begin by a
quick “mini-primer” about Belarus. Here is what I think
everybody ought to know about this country:
Belarus
is a completely artificial creation, even more artificial than the
Ukraine. At least in the Ukraine there were “westerners”
(Galicians) who truly were not Russians at all (you can think of
them as the “real Ukrainians” if you want) and whose hatred for
everything Russian was every bit as rabid as the one of the Interahamwe
of Rwanda. There is no meaningful equivalent to the Banderites
in Belarus.
Lukashnko
was no more pro-Russian than Ianukovich. This is crucial.
Lukashenko was always pro-Lukashenko, not pro-Russia. Both the
West and Lukashenko like to say that Belarus is the only real
Russian ally. This is false. Technically, Russia and
Belarus are supranational union states. However, it is true
that Lukashenko tried to use the historical identity between the
Russian and Belarusian people to demand that Russia help him out
over and over and over again. And until recently, Russia did.
As
a country, Belarus is a quasi perfect police state with an extremely
competent and feared KGB (yes, in Belarus they kept the name) which
controls everything and everybody. This is also crucial for
reasons I will explain below.
As
for the Kremlin, it always wanted to foster a reunification with
Belarus but this process was never fully completed due to regular
problems, and even crises, between Moscow and Minsk. Russia
poured immense sums of money to keep the Belarusian society from
crashing.
Finally, Belarus
is really a poor country with very limited resources. For
Russia, however, Belarus is a crucial military ally, one which plays
a central role in Russian defense plans. If the US and NATO
will be successful in taking control of the country, this will be a
major strategic threat for the Russian security.
These are just a few
pointers to compare and contrast Belarus with the Ukraine.
Now let me summarize
what just happened.
The Belarusian
authorities have declared that “hundreds” of men (supposedly
Russians) have been sent to Belarus with nefarious intentions.
Lukashenko has since officially confirmed that he got this info from
the Ukrainian SBU. The men themselves were described as terrorists,
insurgents, members of the “Wagner” PMC, subversives, etc. and
their goals were described as killing Lukashenko, triggering a new
“maidan” in Belarus, create chaos, etc.
Frankly, the
Belarusian authorities never got their story straight and, frankly
again, this really makes no difference at all. Here are two
things which I consider as indisputable:
Russia
would never even consider using force or illegal covert operations
against Lukashenko and/or Belarus
The Belarusian
KGB knows everything of any importance taking place in Belarus
I would even argue
that argument #2 very much supports argument #1.
Whatever may be the
case, it appeared
that a group of Russian security guards had been recruited by a
Belarusian firm to provide security in various countries (Sudan and
Venezuela is often named). They traveled to Belarus and planned
to fly out of Minsk for their final destinations. They were
delayed, apparently deliberately, then they missed their flight and
were told to go and rest at a hotel which happened to be located not
far from the residence of Lukashenko. In the middle of the
night, a KGB swat team moved in with flash-bang grenades and guns
drawn and brutally arrested everybody in spite of the fact that none
of the sleepy Russians offered any kind of resistance. No
weapons of any kind were found, no evidence of any covert plans
either, but the authorities declared that since these men were not
drinking or harassing waitresses and since they kept to themselves,
this was a clear proof that they were on a secret mission (I am not
joking!).
All of the above is
absolute and utter nonsense and we should not get distracted by the
minutia of this clearly fabricated pretext.
Here is what really
happened.
It now appears that
the Ukrainian secret service SBU (which does nothing without Uncle
Sam’s approval) mounted a complex covert operation to try to get
Belarus and Russia into a confrontation. The entire operation,
including recruitment, purchase of airline tickets, etc was, in fact,
run from the Ukraine. This was also the biggest mistake the
Ukies did: they did not hide their actions well enough and it took
the Russians special services less than 24 hours to figure out the
entire plan and leak
it to the media (in Russian). The fine details are still
being ascertained, but the bottom line is this: the Ukrainians
pretended to be a security firm looking for men with proven combat
experience, especially those who fought in the Donbass against the
Ukronazi forces. Once recruited for some pretty typical guard
duties, these men were to be flown to Minsk where they would miss
their plane and be left waiting for the next opportunity to leave
Belarus. At this point, the SBU seems to have contacted the
Belarusian KGB and “warned” them about Russian “mercenaries”
sent by Russia to kill Lukashenko or, at least, overthrow him.
It is also obvious now
that the SBU specially wanted Russians which had combat experience in
the Donbass to then ask Belarus to hand them over to Kiev. Such
a demand was made almost immediately for most of the men in this
group.
So far so “good”
(not really, but you know what I mean), but here is when the
Belarusians and Lukashenko himself started to act really strangely.
The first logical step
for the Belarusian authorities should have been Lukashenko calling
Putin and asking for an explanation. Alternatively, the head of
the Belarusian KGB could have called the head of the FSB and ask him
for clarifications. But, instead of doing that, the Belarusian
KGB organized this ridiculous “seizure” of the Russian
“mercenaries” while the latter were asleep in their hotel and had
no idea whatsoever what was going on.
Next, instead of
working with the Russians, Lukashenko just gave a long interview to
one of the most talented and most morally repugnant Ukie journalist,
Dmitrii Gordon (who proudly proclaims that he is an SBU agent).
But then it only got
worse.
Lukashenko pounced on
the opportunity to, yet again, engage in his typically long-winded
rants against Russia. He even went as far as to suggest that
Belarus might extradite some of these Russian men to the Ukraine
(which, as we now know, had provided a list of wanted men to the
Belarusian KGB). From these actions it became immediately clear
to the Russians that Lukashenko was playing some kind of dirty game
in the last days before the Presidential election which took place on
Sunday.
So what could explain
the outright bizarre behavior of the Belarusians?
Reason one: Simply put
– Lukashenko’s popularity is declining as fast as the disposable
income of the Belarusians.
Reason two: The US is
clearly engaged in major strategic PSYOP to seize control of Belarus.
Reason three: The
Belarusian state in its current condition is simply not viable and
never was.
Let’s take these one
by one.
While nobody doubts
the outcome of any election in Belarus, it is also pretty
uncontroversial that most Belarusians do support Lukashenko.
The point is not whether Lukashenko would win, but only by how much
he would win? The elections yesterday yielded the lowest
possible and acceptable result for Lukashenko: 80%. This figure
is really meaningless, all it shows is how good the Lukashenko regime
is at winning elections. This time, however, there appear to be
more protests than in the past and, unlike what happened in the past,
the protests are not limited to Minsk and they have now spread to
other cities. So while Lukashenko was never at risk of
officially losing the election, a maidan-like protest remains a clear
concern for him.
Pompeo in Belarus: only a coincidence, of course
But there is much more
to this story.
Following a meeting
between Lukashenko and Pompeo, the US will now open a (very big)
embassy in Minsk. For years the West has been calling
Lukashenko all sorts of names, and now it is suddenly “all smiles”.
Is that really a
coincidence?
I very much doubt it.
But it even gets much
worse than that: the US is sending one of its most capable and
dangerous officials to subvert Belarus: I am referring to Jeffrey
Giauque, a State Department intelligence official with a long
track of successive destabilization missions.
Listen to him
introduce himself to the Belarusian people:
In fact, it is now
pretty obvious that the entire provocation with the Russian
“terrorists” was carefully crafted and implemented by a joint
US-Ukrainian. Had the Ukie SBU not been so sloppy with how they
organized it all (it took the FSB less than 24 hours to get a full
and accurate picture of what had happened) this plan might have
succeeded. In fact, it still might.
But blaming it all on
the US, the SBU and Lukashenko really does not tell the full story.
The truth is that
Belarus is a completely artificial state, much more artificial even
than the Ukraine, and it is a state which simply cannot survive by
itself. Neither can it hope to survive forever on Russian aid.
And while looking
at the roots of Ukrainian nationalism is important and
interesting, such an exercise is useless in the case of Belarus since
Belarusian nationalism is something truly a-historical and artificial
and which really has no foundation outside western ideological
dogmas.
While the Soviet
Union’s Marxist and generally russophobic ideology regime always
fostered the emergence of local nationalisms (and even created
previously non-existing “nationalities”), Belarusian nationalism
was something which never got much traction, which is hardly
surprising since any distinction between a Russian and a Belarusian
is much smaller than the differences amongst Russians who now live in
a very diverse and truly multi-ethnic society. Still, from the
point of view of the Party Nomenklatura
and their western curators, not splitting away Belarus from Russia
while such countries as the Ukraine or Kazakhstan declared their
independence was unthinkable, thus a kind of weird compromise was
reached which was supposed to reassure both the people of Russia and
those of Belarus. Some agreements were made, others were
endlessly negotiated about (especially any energy deals!) and what
eventually resulted from this all is this weird and artificial
statelet of only 10 million people. As for its leader, he
declared that Belarus will follow a “multi-vector” foreign policy
which I would summarize as follows: pump as much money out of Russia
as possible, while at the same time seeking support from the
AngloZionist Empire.
[Sidebar: yes, I know,
Lukashenko is called the “last dictator of Europe” and he is not
popular in the West. My point is that his lack of popularity is
to be credited to the West, and not to him. Over and over
again, Lukashenko tried to get support (meaning “money”) from the
West and now Pompeo & Co. have apparently decided to make “their”
son of a bitch “our” son of a bitch. What I mean by that
Lukashenko was the textbook case of the “our son of a bitch”
phenomenon, but not for the West – for Russia. I furthermore
believe that like all “sons of bitches” (including “theirs”
and “ours”) – Lukashenko has now turned into a liability for
Russia.]
There is another very
worrisome development taking place now: in this entire business the
Belarusian KGB was either hopelessly incompetent (which it ain’t!)
or penetrated by western agents. I find the second explanation
much more likely.
If we now assume that
the Belarusian KGB has been penetrated and compromised, then this is
very bad news for Lukashenko who might find himself in the same
situation as, say, Nicolae Ceaușescu, who was betrayed by his own
secret services (we can also remember how many US/Israeli agents were
in high position around Bashar Assad until the war in Syria forced
them to pick a side).
Frankly, while the CIA
and the rest of them are not very good at some things, they are truly
world-class masters in the art of corrupting officials and this might
have already happened in Belarus.
Right now, there are
riots in Minsk and in other cities and while in the capital the riot
police has things mostly under control, there have already been cases
of riot cops running for their lives to avoid being lynched by the
mob. As of the time of writing this (Monday 21:50 UTC) the
Belarusian KGB has declared that they are hunting down the worst
agitators and rioters, but considering how easy it has been for the
Ukrainian SBU to trick (or, worse, infiltrate) the Belarusian KGB, I
am not feeling very reassured by this verbiage: special services are
here to take care of dangerous problems, not to make big statements.
Right now, the latest
we hear from the Belarusian KGB is that they prevented
the assassination of the main opposition figure Svetlana
Tikhanovskaya. Heck, this might even be true, considering
that the (clueless) Tikhanovskaya would make a perfect “sacrificial
lamb” (and an terrible politician, should she ever be elected). But this also looks like some interests inside the Belarusian KGB are
courting Tikhanovskaya. Both versions are equally bad, I think.
How serious is all
this?
Very!
There are already
(false) rumors spread by Polish media about Lukashenko having fled
Belarus in his aircraft. This rumor is clearly designed to
create the (wrong) impression that Lukashenko is the next Ianukovich:
while I equally dislike both of these men, Lukashenko is a much
tougher man than Ianukovich ever was.
Furthermore, the kind
of media-campaign waged now by the western, Polish and Ukie media is
unprecedented in its magnitude and it will be very hard for the
regime to regain control of the country.
As for Lukashenko, he
now seems to have reversed his tune somehow: after accusing Russia of
treating Belarus not as a brother, but as a partner, now he says that
he spoke to Putin and got a 5 page document explaining it all, and
now he says that Russia and Belarus will be brothers after all.
Not very convincing,
to say the least.
Quite logically,
Lukashenko’s popularity in Russia, which was never that high to
begin with, is now rapidly degrading and many analysts who, in the
past, praised Lukashenko for his (supposedly) “firm” policy
towards the West are now openly voicing their disgust. An
increasing number of Russians are now openly wondering with this
entire “supranational union state” concept. As for
Lukashenko’s much vaunted “multi-vector policies” they look
like a banal case of trying to sit between two chairs.
It now appears pretty
obvious that the leaders of the Empire stopped hating Lukashenko only
long enough to give a short lived and semi-credible appearance of
benevolence; now they are already talking about reintroducing
sanctions on Belarus and on Lukashenko personally.
This is all extremely
dangerous for Russia for the following reasons:
Lukashenko
is an absolutely terrible “our son of a bitch” (they always
are!) to back and his latest antics have shown the Kremlin that
Lukashenko is very much part of the problem, not of the solution.
If
Lukashenko remains in power, it will be only thanks to his (mostly
very effective) repressive apparatus which might be enough to
silence the opposition, but not enough to make Lukashenko truly
popular.
Lukashenko
himself is clearly both dishonest and unprincipled. He does
not care one bit about Russia (or Belarus for that matter), he cares
only about himself. In other words, as long as he remains in
power, Belarus will be a major concern for Russia.
If
Lukashenko is overthrown, be it by a KGB plot or a Maidan-like
violent insurrection, we can be pretty darn sure that whoever comes
to power will be 1) vetted by the USA and 2) rabidly anti-Russian.
Belarus does not
have much of an economic significance for Russia, but for security
and, even more so, military reasons Belarus is absolutely vital to
the Russian security
This last point needs
to be further clarified. Not only is Belarus located in a
strategically crucial location, the Belarussian armed forces are very
well trained and equipped (no comparison to the Ukie forces) and they
represent a major military asset for the Kremlin.
There are
also Russian forces deployed in Belarus*. Finally, the contacts
between the Belarusian and Russian military are very friendly and
very deep.To have NATO take over Belarus would truly be a
major problem for Russia (one that she can deal with, but it would
require a major re-thinking of the threat from the West).
So where do we go from
here?
It seems to me that if
Putin does “more of the same” Russia risks seriously losing
Belarus which, at a time when the Ukrainian Banderastan is falling
apart, would really be a crying shame. Right now, Russia needs
to contain the “Ukrainian infection” while, at the same time,
preparing an after-Lukashenko (before it is too late). Obviously, Lukashenko will not gracefully resign, so Russia needs to
find a tool in her toolkit to force him to do so.
Personally, I have
always believed that fully reincorporating Belarus into Russia would
not only solve the “Belarusian problem” but that it would also
solve the “Lukashenko problem”. I am confident that Russia
has more than enough influence and resources in Belarus to force a
change. Yes, that would be both difficult and dangerous, but
not doing so could result in a much worse outcome. Russia needs
to act. Quickly and resolutely.
* Waar de Saker dat vandaan haalt zou ik niet weten, immers dit zou ongetwijfeld zijn aangehaald door de demonstranten in Wit-Rusland, waar men vandaag nog schande sprak over het vrijlaten van de 30 ongewapnede Russische veiligheidsagenten, die de Saker eerder aanhaalt in zijn verhaal….. Hij geeft daar verder ook geen bewijs voor….. Uitermate vreemd…… Ongetwijfeld zal het Wit-Russische leger af en aan militaire oefeningen houden met de Russische strijdkrachten, echter daar is op dit moment, noch de laatste paar maanden sprake van (geweest).
Alsof
agenten iemand niet kunnen ‘immobiliseren’ door op diens benen te
schieten, werd afgelopen donderdag een verwarde man doodgeschoten
door de politie van Amsterdam…..
De Amsterdamse politiechef Frank Paauw stelt dat de
bewuste agenten als hijzelf zeer geëmotioneerd zijn door dit
gebeuren (het zoveelste geval van onoordeelkundig handelen) al begrijp je dat Paauw de woorden tussen aanhalingstekens niet heeft gebruikt. Met een
stroomstootwapen (taser) had men de man op een afstand van 8 meter
kunnen immobiliseren, aldus Paauw, alsof dat met een pistool niet kan zonder
iemand te doden…… Ongelofelijk!!
En reken
maar dat wanneer alle agenten zijn uitgerust met- en getraind zijn op het
gebruik van de taser, hierbij ook doden zullen vallen, niet voor
niets heeft de politie van New York het gebruik van dit wapen voor
haar agenten verboden nadat er een aantal mensen overleden ten
gevolge van het gebruik van dit martelwerktuig………

diender wil iemand neerschieten”, aldus Paauw, waarom schiet men
dan niet op de benen of de arm waarmee de verwarde man een
mes vasthield????!!!!!!!
Daarover gesproken: ben benieuwd hoe het intussen staat met de
‘schietvaardigheid’ van de Nederlandse politieagenten, dit daar deze
vaardigheid al jarenlang ver te zoeken was en al jaren geleden werd beloofd deze vaardigheid op te vijzelen…..

Voor de
vierde nacht op rij heeft de Israël de Gazastrook aangevallen,
volgen Israël zijn doelen van Hamas aangevallen, dit vanwege het
‘lanceren van ballonnen’ uit de Gazastrook die branden zouden hebben
veroorzaakt aan de Israëlische kant van de barrière die Israël
heeft opgeworpen tussen ‘haar land’ en getto (openluchtgevangenis)
Gazastrook…… De Israëlische aanvallen worden uitgevoerd met
straaljagers, gevechtshelikopters, drones en tanks…
Volgens
Palestijnse bronnen werden veel meer doelen aangevallen dan alleen
van Hamas, zoals de al zeer spaarzame hoeveelheid landbouwgrond, woonhuizen en een school van de VN,
waar een onontplofte raket werd gevonden…… Heb overigens geen atikelen gevonden die over dodelijke slachtoffers spreken.
Afgelopen
donderdag heeft Israël de levering van brandstof aan de Gazastrook
stilgelegd, in feite een misdaad tegen de menselijkheid als je nagaat
dat de temperaturen daar 30 graden Celsius of hoger zijn en men door een tekort aan brandstof geen airco’s en ventilatoren kan gebruiken*. Het was overigens al zo dat men in de Gazastrook
dagelijks een paar uur de beschikking had over elektriciteit, waar
dit nu nog verder wordt beknot…… (de Palestijnen zijn afhankelijk
van brandstof- en elektriciteitsleveringen uit Israël, nadat het Israelische leger een grote energiecentrale heeft vernietigd, een oorlogsmisdaad van ‘formaat’, daarnaast valt Israel regelmatig plekken aan waar generatoren draaien voor enrgieleveringen)
Ongelofelijk
dat er op de nationale radiozenders hier, in Duitsland en in
Groot-Brittannië de laatste dagen geen aandacht is voor de
Israëlische aanvallen op de Gazastrook……. Dezelfde mediaorganen
die elke kritiek op Israël afdoen als antisemitisme…….
De
werkloosheid in de Gazastrook is enorm hoog en de frustratie is groot
over de al jaren durende Israëlische blokkade van de Gazastrook…..
Niet vreemd dus dat bijvoorbeeld jongeren ballonnen en vliegers
gebruiken om Israëliërs te laten weten dat men niet lijdzaam
toeziet hoe het Palestijnse volk in de Gazastrook wordt behandeld als
dieren door de eerste beste dierenbeul uit de intensieve
martelveehouderij…*
Bij vooral geweldloze protesten de laatste jaren aan de grens met Israël, NB op Palestijns grondgebied, heeft het Israelische leger een enorm aantal Palestijnen vermoord, inclusief kinderen, duidelijk zichtbare medisch hulpverleners en journalisten……
Als het Syrische bewind op een degelijke manier met een minderheid zou omgaan was de wereld te klein geweest voor de enorme verontwaardiging die dit in het westen teweeg zou brengen en zou men de (illegale) sancties tegen dat land verder aanscherpen, blijkbaar ziet men in het westen Palestijnen niet als mensen……
Gaza
City
(AMA) – The Israeli military has launched aerial and ground attacks
against targets across the Gaza Strip for the second night in a row,
while Tel Aviv tightens its grip on the blockaded territory’s
fishing activities and fuel imports.
It
claimed in a statement that warplanes, attack helicopters, and tanks
struck a number of positions belonging to the Palestinian Hamas
resistance movement, which runs the territory, early Thursday.
Reports coming out of
Gaza and videos of the strikes that circulated online, however,
showed residential buildings and agricultural land have also been
hit.
Gaza-based media said
the strikes hit targets across the Gaza Strip from Rafah in the
southern part of the occupied territory to Beit Hanoun in the north.
The Israeli military
said the strikes were in response to the launch of incendiary
balloons from Gaza over the past several days.
According to the
report, dozens of balloon-borne devices were launched into southern
parts of the occupied territories on Tuesday and Wednesday, igniting
over 80 fires.
Flying fiery kites and
balloons has become a new mode of protests by Gazans since March
2018, when the Tel Aviv regime began a crackdown against
anti-occupation demonstrations near the fence separating Gaza from
the Israeli-occupied land, killing and injuring many people.
Israel, however,
blames the launch of incendiary balloons on Hamas.

* We weten na de ‘lange hittegolf’ hier wat dit
betekent, een hittegolf die in de Gazastrook heel normaal is en veel langer aanhoudt……. Het is dan ook een feit dat als hier, in de Gazastrook veel ouderen en zwakke mensen sterven ten gevolge van zo’n veel langere hittegolf, ofwel met het afknijpen van brandstof- en elektriciteitsleveringen, vermoordt Israel Palestijnse mensen……
Weer een
staaltje dierenmishandeling waarvan je haren recht overeind gaan
staan : de veeteelt doodsindustrie in het westen van Australië
brand, snijdt en scheurt de horens af van vee…….
Om meer dieren in een veel te klein afgerasterd stuk land te kunnen proppen, of tegelijk te kunnen melken, of door de gangen te jagen richting dood in een slachthuis of in schepen of vrachtwagens te jagen voor vervoer naar elders (zoals naar Israël, zie de hierboven opgenomen link), snijdt, brandt en scheurt men horens van runderen af en dat slechts in 15% van de gevallen met een verdoving (en dat vaak alleen voor dieren van een half jaar of ouder, alsof jonge dieren geen pijn voelen >> wat een barbaarse dierenbeulen!!)…… Een aantal van de dieren overlijdt zelfs door deze barbaarse inhumane behandeling…….
Het Care2 team blundert in deze petitie toch een paar keer, zo stelt men dat het verstandig kan zijn om de horens van vee te verwijderen, daar dieren elkaar kunnen verwonden, echter daarbij vergeet het team dat dit alleen gebeurt in plekken waar men veel te veel vee bij elkaar houdt (nogmaals zie de hierboven opgenomen link) en/of waar men zo snel mogelijk en zoveel mogelijk vee tegelijk wil melken of wil afvoeren……
Bovendien zou het Care2 team toch vooral moeten pleiten voor het zo snel mogelijk opdoeken van de intensieve martelveehouderij, immers door het blijven eten van vlees en gebruik van zuivel wordt onze leefwereld om zeep geholpen*, dit nog naast het feit dat vlees en zuivel zonder meer slecht zijn voor een groot aantal organen in het menselijk lichaam….. Echter boven het voorgaande gaat toch het enorme dierenleed dat deze arme dieren wordt aangedaan, dieren die gemiddeld niet eens een vijfde van hun levensduur mogen bestaan…..

Animal
welfare laws are so vague, it’s actually legal to rip off the horns
of young cattle without giving them pain relief. This must change!
An
industry is only as good as the way it treats its animals. By this
logic, the cattle farming industry in Western Australia (WA) is
abhorrent.
Footage
shot by brave activists from the animal rights organization
Sentient showed countless cattle in WA facilities being dehorned
aggressively and without any medical pain relief. The
cattle screamed and struggled as their horns were sliced and pulled
from their heads. The
lucky ones without complications would be left disoriented and
traumatized. The less fortunate would later suffer and die with the
sun beating down on them.
Sign
the petition calling for the Western Australia to make pain relief
mandatory during all dehorning procedures!
The
dehorning of cattle is a reasonable practice if done humanely. Cattle
often injure each other with their horns inadvertently, so horn
removal promotes herd safety and health. But in Western Australia, the
practice is highly unregulated. Words like “should” are
littered throughout the code of animal welfare. One section states
that painkillers are only suggested for cattle older than six months
old. Why on earth would
the youngest, most vulnerable cattle be put through the most
pain?
All
cattle, no matter what age, should have their pain alleviated during
dehorning.
Only
about 15%
of the industry’s producers use painkillers at all. If you watch
the footage for yourself, you can hear countless workers claiming
that painkillers and vets are too inconvenient and expensive to use. If cattle farmers
cannot go to the trouble of treating their animals with decency, they
should find a new job.
Enough is
enough. Sign the petition and make sure that Western Australia’s
Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development create real
regulations granting all cattle pain relief during dehorning!
*In Nederland worden op jaarbasis 500 miljoen dieren groot en
doodgemarteld, daarnaast komt door het houden van het gigantische aantal dieren een enorme hoeveelheid methaangas vrij, een
broeikasgas dat meer dan 80 keer zo sterk is dan CO2, daarmee is
Nederland dan ook een onevenredig grote aanjager van de
klimaatverandering….

Cunningham heeft een artikel geschreven over de westerse hysterie
rond Hongkong en de Chinese (‘communistische’) laars die de
vrijheid en democratie in die semi-autonome stad zou vermorzelen……
De boel
werd nog verder opgejut in het westen na de arrestatie van Jimmy Lai
eerder deze week, Lai is een media eigenaar, dus de reguliere
westerse media schreeuwden moord en brand over de aantasting van de
vrijheid van meningsuiting……….. Waarbij men de nieuwe Chinese
veiligheidswet hekelt die het mogelijk maakt om met gewelddadige protesten
hard aan te pakken en organisatoren op te pakken en in China (bedoeld
wordt buiten Hongkong) te berechten……
Lai is overigens al weer vrijgelaten, wat men in de VS en Groot-Brittannië uiteraard betreurt, immers nu kan men niet meer kankeren over het gebrek aan vrijheid van meningsuiting in Hongkong…….. Vergeet daarnaast niet dat Lai heeft deelgenomen aan een aantal van de uiterst gewelddadige protesten en het geweld in zijn kranten verdoezelde, of zelfs heeft gelogen dat extreem geweld niet door demonstranten werd gebruikt, maar werd uitgeoefend door de politie van Hongkong…..
Al een
paar jaar waren er met grote regelmaat protesten in Hongkong tegen de
Chinese overheid in Peking (of Bejing, wat je wilt), protesten die
vooral de laatste anderhalf jaar steeds gewelddadiger werden en
waarbij tegenstanders van die protesten o.a. in brand werden
gestoken, dan wel op andere manier zo mishandeld dat ze ofwel
overleden dan wel zwaar gewond in het ziekenhuis belandden……. Dit nog buiten
de enorme vernielingen die werden aangericht, niet alleen in en tegen
overheidsgebouwen, maar zelfs in winkels van mensen die tegen de
protesten waren…… Voor deze zaken is geen ander woord te bedenken dan (heftige) terreur, zaken die men verzweeg in de westerse media en politiek…..
Het is
duidelijk dat de VS zoals op zoveel andere plekken over de wereld
deze ‘pro democratische protesten’ organiseerde en financierde, uiteraard
met hulp van Groot-Brittannië, de voormalige kolonisator die deze
‘kolonie’ allesbehalve democratisch bestuurde (waar hetzelfde GB nu
plotsklaps de grote verdediger is van de democratie in
Hongkong…..)
Ciunningham merkt volkomen terecht op, dat wanneer dergelijke zwaar gewelddadige
protesten (zoals gezegd: gecombineerd met heftige terreur) zouden plaatsvinden in de VS of GB, men de leiders van deze protesten
al lang en breed achter de tralies had gezet………
Begreep
al lang niet waarom men blindelings de leugens geloofde van de
westerse media, terwijl toch ook hier de berichten op de sociale media doorsijpelden dat
de demonstranten in Hongkong bijzonder gewelddadig waren….. Je behoefde bepaald
geen Einstein te zijn om te voorspellen dat China uiteindelijk zou
ingrijpen, juist vanwege dat geweld!! (nogmaals: geweld voor een
groot deel tegen medeburgers die het niet met de demonstranten eens
waren*)
Dat ingrijpen door de Chinese overheid was dan ook precies de bedoeling van de CIA en MI6 die de protesten in Hongkong hebben opgejut, immers China moet en zal de nieuwe grote vijand zijn van het westen en met het ingrijpen van de Chinese overheid in Hongkong kon men China nog meer demoniseren en haat zaaien tegen dat land……
Met het voorgaande kon men meteen de economie van China treffen door diverse zaken uit China botweg te verbieden en dat gebaseerd op leugens, neem het G5 netwerk van Huawei…… De reguliere westerse (massa-) media deden en doen maar al te graag braaf mee aan dit spel en hielden de ‘demonstranten’ in Hongkong de handen boven de uiterst gewelddadige kop, door zo min mogelijk of helemaal niets te melden van wat er echt gebeurde tijdens de protesten, het ongebreidelde geweld van demonstranten ook tegen medeburgers…..

Kong: ‘Freedom’… to Subvert

“Information
Clearing House”
– The arrest of Hong Kong media mogul Jimmy Lai has sent Western news
outlets into a tizzy. We are told that “free speech” is under
attack by the Chinese authorities who are supposedly rolling back
democracy on the semiautonomous island city.
Lai was arrested in
the offices of his media company and led away in handcuffs by
police officers. He is charged with “colluding with foreign
powers” in undermining Beijing’s sovereign authority.
Western media are claiming that his arrest is an example of the
alleged abuse of a new security law imposed on Hong Kong by the
Beijing central government. That law proscribes activities deemed to
be seditious or subversive.
For well over a year
now, Hong Kong has been in upheaval from protests against the central
government in Beijing. Those protests have involved massive violence
and destruction of public property, including the torching to
death of innocent bystanders.
Law and order in Hong
Kong is the sovereign responsibility of Beijing ever since Britain
handed back its former colony to China in 1997.
The street protests
under the guise of “pro-democracy” movement are but a
Trojan Horse for Britain and the United States to interfere in
China’s internal affairs and destabilize Beijing’s sovereignty.
Washington and London
have stepped up sanctions and reprimands against the Chinese
government in line with boosting the protests. The leaders of the
Hong Kong demonstrations have been hosted by American and British
officials. Some of them even live in exile in London. There can be no
clearer evidence that the United States and Britain are exploiting
Hong Kong as an entry point for weakening China, just as they
did in past centuries as imperial powers during the Opium Wars.
The geopolitical
tensions with China have become ever-sharper over the self-inflicted
disastrous mismanagement of the coronavirus pandemic in the US and
Britain. Those two countries are the world “leaders” in
terms of death toll from the disease. But there is also the bigger
background picture of Washington becoming increasingly hostile
towards Beijing (and Moscow) owing to what it calls “great
power competition”. In this context, Britain is serving as
Washington’s snarly lapdog for snapping at the heels of China (and
Russia).
So, how about Jimmy
Lai? The 71-year-old media magnate was born on the Chinese mainland.
His once wealthy family is reputed to
have lost their privileges when communist rule was established in
1949. Lai sounds like a perfect cipher for Western ambitions of
regime change in Beijing.
Western media, not
surprisingly, have lionized him
as a “leading pro-democracy advocate”.
One of his
newspapers, Apple Daily, is described by
Associated Press as a “feisty pro-democracy tabloid that often
condemns China’s Communist Party government.”
That’s quite
astounding understatement. Lai has personally taken part in unlawful
demonstrations and his media outlets have acted brazenly as agents of
provocation, or sedition.
Earlier this year,
Apple Daily ran a front page appeal by its owner to US President
Donald Trump, beseeching the
American leader to intervene in Hong Kong to “save us” from
the Chinese government.
Last year just as
protests were erupting in Hong Kong, Lai was feted in
Washington by Vice President Mike Pence and Secretary of State Mike
Pompeo. The agenda of their discussions included China’s security
affairs.
Now let’s
run this scenario again with a slight change of actors and location.
Imagine if a media mogul in Seattle was publishing newspaper
headlines every day condemning the federal government in Washington
and openly calling for repudiation of US sovereignty. Imagine if this
American media mogul flew to Beijing and was photographed holding
private discussions with top government officials about law and order
affairs.
There is more than a
fair chance, to say the least, that said media mogul would be
arrested by US federal officers and pilloried for being a traitor.
The double standards
and arrogance of the US and British media are staggering in
their coverage and commentary regarding Hong Kong. Hong Kong was
ruled from London as a colony for nearly 150 years without even a
token of democracy. Yet all of a sudden, we are led to believe,
Britain has discovered concern for “democracy” in Hong
Kong, while the Americans apparently cherish “freedom” in
the Chinese territory – freedom, that is, to subvert the
government in Beijing.

en ander is te vergelijken met de Hongaarse opstand van 1956, niemand
die noig spreekt over het enorme geweld van de de ‘opstandelingen’
tegen voor een groot deel medeburgers, veel mensen werden door de

opstandelingen waren dan ook voor het grootste deel de fascisten die
Hongarije voor WOII regeerden en hun slachtoffers waren de mensen die
hoopten met het ‘communisme’ van de Sovjet-Unie een meer

Een staaltje uiterst onbeschoft en schandelijk handelen van de Tweede Kamerleden die behoren tot de coalitiepartijen in Rutte 3 (VVD, CDA, D66 en ChristenUnie*) toen ze afgelopen woensdag spoorslags de Kamer verlieten toen er hoofdelijk moest worden gestemd over een voorstel de medewerkers in de zorg en verpleging meer te waarderen en dat in salaris….. (dus niet met een eenmalige nieuwe haring)
Een bijna lege plenaire zaal, schande!!!
Afgelopen week werd duidelijk dat zich onder de bedrijven die met vele miljarden overheidssteun vanwege de Coronacrisis ‘op de been moesten worden gehouden’, ook bouwmarkt Praxis bevond, terwijl juist de bouwmarkten vanwege het virus goede zaken hebben gedaan……. Deze steun behoeven de bedrijven, dus ook Praxis, niet terug te betalen….. Voor die enorme kosten van die steun, de vele miljarden euro’s, mogen de kleine bedrijven en wij, de burgers opdraaien……
Bedrijven die eigenlijk geen recht hadden op steun hebben hun openingstijden aangepast zodat ze toch in aanmerking kwamen voor een dikke gift uit de door ons bij elkaar opgebrachte belastinggelden……..
Je begrijpt natuurlijk wel dat de top van bedrijven als Praxis een heel vette bonus staat te wachten, daar ze in feite overheidssteun hebben gestolen….. Terwijl het personeel in die winkels, die ook keihard hebben moeten werken, geen stuiver extra verdienen op hun al veel te lage salaris……
Terug naar de zorg en verpleging: geen loonsverhoging voor het personeel in die sectoren, maar wel vele miljarden voor bedrijven die ofwel toch failliet waren gegaan (zonder de Coronacrisis) dan wel voor bedrijven die deze steun in het geheel niet nodig hadden, zoals de zojuist genoemde winkelketen Praxis….. Hoe is het mogelijk??? Waarom zijn er nog mensen zo dom dat ze stemmen op de oplichters van VVD, CDA, D66 en ChristenUnie??** Nogmaals blijkt dat de politici van deze partijen geheel vals en uiterst hypocriet de medewerkers in de zorg en verpleging hebben geprezen voor hun inzet tijdens de Coronacrisis…… Gevolg van e.e.a. zal zijn dat nog meer mensen de zorg en verpleging zullen verlaten, terwijl er al een groot tekort is aan personeel, waar men tegelijk wacht op een tweede hysterische Coronagolf en nu al stelt dat wanneer deze binnen een paar maanden toeslaat er een groot tekort zal zijn aan personeel…… Het personeel in verpleging en zorg is oververmoeid en zelfs na de vakantie zijn velen nog steeds totaal op….. * Neem aan dat ook de leden van de SGP met de staart tussen de benen het Tweede Kamergebouw hebben verlaten, daar deze christelijke partij dit inhumane en blunderende kabinet steunt……
** De PvdA heeft ook een grote bek over deze zaak, echter als deze partij in de regering had gezeten, hadden hun Kamerleden de plenaire zaal ook verlaten, zo heeft de partij iets te vaak bewezen als het niet in de oppositie zat…… (anders gezegd: het stemgedrag van de PvdA is voor een groot deel tegengesteld als het wel of niet in het kabinet zat…..)

Tijdens de Coronacrisis, april dit jaar werd een groot gebied met olie vervuild in het Ecuadoraanse deel van het Amazonewoud, inclusief rivieren voor watergebruik….. ‘Maar liefst’ 15.800 vaten (1 vat is ongeveer 159 liter…..) hebben dit gebied vervuild…… De meeste olie uit dat deel van het Amazonegebied zou naar de VS gaan…. Uiteraard is de oorspronkelijke bevolking van dit gebied het slachtoffer van deze vervuiling, hetzelfde geldt voor de natuur……. Als je dacht dat deze vervuiling eenmalig was, moet ik je teleurstellen, meermaals werd de boel verkankerd in dit gebeid, al was deze olievervuiling het ergst gemeten over de afgelopen 15 jaar en als men niet stopt met de oliewinning in dit gebied, zullen er nog veel van deze rampen volgen……..

Ondanks dat banken stellen dat ze een beleid voeren met eerbiediging van de mensenrechten, duurzaamheid en het tegengaan van de klimaatverandering financieren 6 grote banken uit Europa de handel in deze olie….. De namen van de banken: ING, Rabobank, BNP Paribas, Credit Suisse, Natixis, en UBS……
Met name de Sacred Headwaters zijn vervuild met olie……
Deze banken zijn over de laatste 10 jaar verantwoordelijk voor de financiering met 10 miljard dollar voor de winning van 155 miljoen vaten olie, die van Ecuador werden vervoerd naar raffinaderijen in de VS….. Het gaat hier om een hoeveelheid olie die bij verbruik gelijk staat aan de jaarlijkse verbranding van steenkool in 17 kolencetrales…….
Zoals gezegdbanken als de Rabobank en ING doen naar buiten toe alsof ze duurzaam bezig zijn en respect hebben voor mensenrechten, milieu en natuur, dat is dan ook één van de smerigste vormen van greenwashing!! Met deze valse voorstelling van zaken worden de milieubewuste klanten van deze banken opgelicht!!
Overigens las ik onlangs dat de Rabobank zich ook bezighoudt met het financieren van ‘duurzame palmolie winning’, terwijl duurzame palmolie niet bestaat, zal daar binnenkort een bericht aan besteden…..
Alweer moet ik opmerken: “Waar een klein land al niet groot in kan zijn…..” GGGVD!!
In April, the Ecuadorian Amazon region was hit by one of the worst oil spills it had experienced in over a decade. As 15,800 barrels of crude oil spilled out from ruptured pipelines, over 120,000 Ecuadorians found their rivers running thick with oil and their only source of food and water polluted – all amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
The pipelines that run through the Amazon Sacred Headwaters carry crude oil extracted from the rainforest and exported to international destinations – the U.S. being one of the biggest buyers. But the controversy doesn’t end there. Our groundbreaking report released today – in partnership with Amazon Watch, found six top European banks financing the trade of Amazon Sacred Headwaters crude oil from Ecuador – despite having policies on advancing human rights, sustainability, and climate change.
These banks cannot continue to finance the trade of crude oil from the Amazon Sacred Headwaters when regional Indigenous federations and local communities are calling for an immediate conditional moratorium and no further expansion of all oil production. European and other banks financing the trade of crude oil to the U.S. and beyond are complicit in Indigenous rights violations and contamination connected to the drilling and export of this oil.
Our investigation led by the Stand Research group found that in the last decade, a range of banks have provided $10 billion USD in trade financing for over 155 million barrels of oil from the Ecuadorian region of the Amazon Sacred Headwaters to refineries in the U.S. The top six banks, ING, Credit Suisse, Natixis, BNP Paribas, UBS, and Rabobank alone account for 85 percent of all bank financed trade.
The 155 million barrels these institutions have helped finance contain approximately 66.65 million metric tons of CO2, which is equivalent to a staggering annual emissions from 17 coal-fired power plants. How could banks with public sustainability and climate commitments play such a pivotal role in financing the flow of oil from one of the most biodiverse places on the planet?!
That’s why these banks must publicly commit to stop financing (trade included) Amazon oil-related activities until governments in the region commit to no new expansion of oil development and a wind-down of existing wells – in line with global climate goals and collective Indigenous visions for the region. In addition, they must promote transparency of any trade financing. Plus, they must respect Indigenous sovereignty and rights, guarantee to uphold the health of local communities, and put in place safeguards to prevent future spills.
In August 2020, Indigenous federations in Ecuador launched a global campaign and filed legal actions calling for a moratorium on current crude oil production due to ongoing contamination and future spill risk. The ongoing resource extraction in the Amazon has made spills a common crisis in the region for the past 40 years. Although the recent oil spill in Ecuador is the biggest in 15 years, it is not the first oil spill nor will it be the last, but it’s a prime example of why drilling for oil in the Amazon needs to stop.
Going after big financial institutions may seem like a monumental task, but challenges like this are what we were born to do. We’ve protected 65 million acres of forests that people thought couldn’t be saved. We’ve gone up against multinational oil, gas, and coal companies worth billions of dollars and come out victorious, blocking dozens of their projects that would have poisoned local communities and accelerated the climate crisis. We’ve shifted billions of dollars of purchasing from corporate powerhouses like Starbucks, Staples, and Levi’s onto sustainable pathways.
Because of people like you, transforming entire industries has kind of become our jam.
