Trump volgt het scenario van deep state: oorlog met Iran ‘is onvermijdelijk….’

John C. O’Day publiceerde vorige week vrijdag een artikel op Fair.org dat ik overnam van Anti-Media (en dat je onder mijn schrijven terug kan vinden). Hierin vestigt O’Day de aandacht op de Iran-deal van een paar jaar geleden, deze deal of: the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), werd destijds bediscussieerd in de reguliere (massa-) media, waar men stelde dat Iran ofwel deze deal moest slikken, daar anders alleen oorlog met Iran zou overblijven als alternatief………

De voorspelling dat oorlog het enige alternatief zou zijn, werd door de Trump administratie gevolgd, door de deal alsnog af te blazen en met enorme anti-Iran propaganda te beweren dat Iran zich niet aan de deal houdt, ook al zeggen alle VN wapeninspecties dat Iran inderdaad is gestopt met de verrijking van uranium en is begonnen met het ontmantelen van de daarvoor benodigde centrifuges.

Bolton, de oorlogshitser en oorlogsmisdadiger (die voor het leven gevangen zou moeten zitten in Scheveningen) beweerde dat wanneer Iran de boel zou belazeren, het land te maken zou krijgen met ‘de woede van de VS’, ofwel met grootscheepse terreur in de vorm van één van de zwaarste oorlogsmisdaden, het beginnen van alweer een illegale oorlog door deze grootste terreurentiteit op aarde…………

Een belachelijke uitlating van Bolton daar de VS zonder enig bewijs en in tegenspraak met officiële VN rapporten toch al stelt dat Iran vals speelt, m.a.w.: de reden voor de VS om een (illegale) oorlog tegen Iran te beginnen, is door de VS zelf gecreëerd…….. (iets waar de VS ‘goed in is’, neem alle false flag operaties van deze terreurenteit)
O’Day stelt dat de woorden van figuren als Bolton en Trump nog amper op kritiek kunnen rekenen in de VS, wat volgens hem het gevolg is van de berichtgeving in de reguliere media……. O’Day noemt een groot aantal voorbeelden en stelt dan ook dat de Trump administratie die media volgt, echter daar ben ik het niet mee eens. O’Day vergeet het begrip Deep State, de werkelijke machthebbers, die al helemaal niet blij waren met de Iran-deal. Deze Deep State beheerst ook de massamedia en zijn derhalve verantwoordelijk voor wat die media brengen aan (nep-) nieuws, leugens en pure propaganda (waarbij Goebbels z’n gore vingers zou aflikken….)

Ondanks dat een groot deel van die media in onmin leven met Trump, staan ze volkomen achter de terreur die de VS verspreidt over het Midden-Oosten, Latijns-Amerika en Afrika……. Vergeet daarnaast niet dat het in feite niet uitmaakt wie er regeert in de VS, al helemaal niet wat betreft de buitenlandpolitiek, neem ‘vredesduif’ Obama die als eerste VS president de volle 2 termijnen in (illegale) oorlogen was verwikkeld met meerdere landen en er zelf (officieel) 2 begon….

Trump Administration Follows Corporate Media Playbook for War With Iran

(FAIR.org) — Three years ago, as Americans debated the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) agreement with the Islamic Republic of Iran—popularly known as “the Iran deal”—I highlighted a troubling media trend on FAIR.org (8/20/15): “For nearly all commentators, regardless of their position, war is the only alternative to that position.”
In the months since US President Donald Trump tore up the JCPOA agreement, his administration has been trying to make good on corporate media’s collective prediction. Last week, John Bolton (BBC, 9/26/18), Trump’s national security advisor and chief warmonger, told Iran’s leaders and the world that there would be “hell to pay” if they dare to “cross us.”

That Bolton’s bellicose statements do not send shockwaves of pure horror across a debt-strapped and war-weary United States is thanks in large part to incessant priming for war, facilitated by corporate media across the entire political spectrum, with a particular focus on Iran.
Back in 2015, while current “resistance” stalwarts like the Washington Post (4/2/15)
and Politico (8/11/15) warned us that war with Iran was the most likely alternative to the JCPOA, conservative standard-bearers such as Fox News (7/14/15) and the Washington Times (8/10/15) foretold that war with Iran was the agreement’s most likely outcome. Three years hence, this dynamic has not changed.

To experience the full menu of US media’s single-mindedness about Iran, one need only buy a subscription to the New York Times. After Trump withdrew from the JCPOA, the Times’ editorial board (5/8/18) wrote that his move would “lay conditions for a possible wider war in the Middle East.” Susan Rice (New York Times, 5/8/18), President Barack Obama’s national security advisor, agreed: “We could face the choice of going to war or acquiescing to a nuclear-armed Iran,” she warned. Cartoonist Patrick Chappatte (New York Times, 5/10/18) was characteristically more direct, penning an image of Trump alongside Bolton, holding a fictitious new agreement featuring the singular, ultimate word: “WAR.”
On the other hand, calling Trump’s turn against JCPOA a “courageous decision,” Times columnist Bret Stephens (5/8/18) explained that the move was meant to force the Iranian government to make a choice: Either accede to US demands or “pursue their nuclear ambitions at the cost of economic ruin and possible war.” (Hardly courageous, when we all know there is no chance that Trump or Stephens would enlist should war materialize.)
Trump’s latest antics at the United Nations have spurred a wave of similar reaction across corporate media. Describing his threat to “totally destroy North Korea” at the UN General Assembly last year as “pointed and sharp,” Fox News anchor Eric Shawn (9/23/18) asked Bill Richardson, an Obama ally and President Bill Clinton’s ambassador to the UN, whether Trump would take the same approach toward Iran. “That aggressive policy we have with Iran is going to continue,” Richardson reassured the audience, “and I don’t think Iran is helping themselves.” In other words, if the United States starts a war with Iran, it’s totally Iran’s fault.
Politico (9/23/18), meanwhile, reported that Trump “is risking a potential war with Iran unless he engages the Islamist-led country using diplomacy.” In other words, if the United States starts a war with Iran, it’s totally Trump’s fault. Rice (New York Times, 9/26/18) reiterated her view that Trump’s rhetoric “presages the prospect of war in the Persian Gulf.” Whoever would be the responsible party is up for debate, but that war is in our future is apparently all but certain.
Politico’s article cited a statement signed by such esteemed US experts on war-making as Madeleine Albright, who presided over Clinton’s inhuman sanctions against Iraq in the ’90s, and Ryan Crocker, former ambassador for presidents George W. Bush and Obama to some of America’s favorite killing fields: Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Syria. James Clapper, Obama’s National Intelligence Director, who also signed the letter, played an important role in trumping up WMD evidence against Saddam Hussein before the United States invaded Iraq in 2003. When it comes to US aggression, they’re the experts.
Vanity Fair (9/26/18) interviewed John Glaser of the Cato Institute, who called Trump’s strategy “pathetic,” and also warned that it forebodes war. In an effort to “one-up Obama,” Glaser explained, Trump’s plan is “to apply extreme economic pressure and explicit threats of war in order to get Iran to capitulate.” Sound familiar? As Glaser implies, this was exactly Obama’s strategy, only then it wasn’t seen as “pathetic,” but rather reasonable, and the sole means for preventing the war that every US pundit and politician saw around the corner (The Hill, 8/9/15).
When everyone decides that war is the only other possibility, it starts to look like an inevitability. But even when they aren’t overtly stoking war fever against Iran, corporate media prime the militaristic pump in more subtle yet equally disturbing ways.

First among these is the near-complete erasure of Iranian voices from US airwaves (FAIR.org, 7/24/15). Rather than ask Iranians directly, national outlets like CNN (9/29/18) prefer to invite the prime minister of Israel, serial Iran alarmist and regional pariah Benjamin Netanyahu, to speak for them. During a jovial discussion this weekend over whether regime change and/or economic collapse is Iran’s most likely fate, Netanyahu explained to the audience that, either way,
“The ones who will be happiest if that happens are the people of Iran.” No people of Iran were on hand to confirm or deny this assessment.
Bloomberg (9/30/18) similarly wanted to know, “What’s not to like about Trump’s Iran oil sanctions?” Julian Lee gleefully reported that “they are crippling exports from the Islamic Republic, at minimal cost to the US.” One might think the toll sanctions take on innocent Iranians would be something not to like, but Bloomberg merely worried that, notwithstanding the windfall for US refineries, “oil at $100 a barrel would be bad news for drivers everywhere—including those in the US.”
Another prized tactic is to whitewash Saudi Arabia, Iran’s chief geopolitical rival, whose genocidal destruction of Yemen is made possible by the United States, about which corporate media remain overwhelmingly silent (FAIR.org, 7/23/18). Iran’s involvement in Yemen, which both Trump and the New York Times (9/12/18) describe as “malign behavior,” is a principal justification for US support of Saudi Arabia, including the US-supplied bombs that recently ended the brief lives of over 40 Yemeni schoolchildren. Lockheed Martin’s stock is up 34 percentfrom Trump’s inauguration day.
Corporate media go beyond a simple coverup of Saudi crimes to evangelize their leadership as the liberal antidote to Iran’s “theocracy.” Who can forget Thomas Friedman’s revolting puff piece for the Saudi crown prince Mohammad bin Salman? Extensively quoting Salman (New York Times, 11/23/17), who refers to Iranian Ayatollah Ali Khamenei as “the new Hitler of the Middle East,” Friedman nevertheless remains pessimistic about whether “MBS and his team” can see their stand against Iran through, as “dysfunction and rivalries within the Sunni Arab world generally have prevented forming a unified front.” Oh well, every team needs cheerleaders, and Friedman isn’t just a fair-weather fan.
While Friedman (New York Times, 5/15/18) believes that Trump has drawn “some needed attention to Iran’s bad behavior,” for him pivotal questions remain unanswered, such as “who is going to take over in Tehran if the current Islamic regime collapses?” One immediate fix he proposed was to censure Iran’s metaphorical “occupation” of Syria, Iraq and Lebanon. Isn’t this ironic coming from an unapologetic propagandist for Washington’s decades-long, non-metaphorical occupation of the two countries to the east and west of Iran (FAIR.org, 12/9/15)?
In a surprising break from corporate media convention, USA Today (9/26/18) published a column on US/Iran relations written by an actual Iranian. Reflecting on the CIA-orchestrated coup against Iran’s elected government in 1953, Azadeh Shahshahani, who was born four days after the 1979 revolution there, wrote:

 “I often wonder what would have happened if that coup had not worked, if [Prime Minister] Mosaddeq had been allowed to govern, if democracy had been allowed to flourish.”
“It is time for the US government to stop intervening in Iran and let the Iranian people determine their own destiny,” she beseeched readers.

Shahshahani’s call is supported by some who have rejected corporate media’s war propaganda and have gone to extreme lengths to have their perspectives heard. Anti-war activist and Code Pink founder Medea Benjamin was recently forcibly removed after she upstaged Brian Hook, leader of Trump’s Iran Action Group, on live TV, calling his press conference “the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen” (Real News, 9/21/18). Benjamin implored the audience: “Let’s talk about Saudi Arabia. Is that who our allies are?”
“How dare you bring up the issue of Yemen,” admonished Benjamin as she was dragged from the room. “It’s the Saudi bombing that is killing most people in Yemen. So let’s get real. No more war! Peace with Iran!” Code Pink is currently petitioning the New York Times and Washington Post to stop propagandizing war.
Sadly, no matter whom you ask in corporate media, be they spokespeople for “Trump’s America” or “the resistance,” peace remains an elusive choice in the US political imagination. And while the public was focused last week on Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s perjurious testimony, the Senate finalized a $674 billion “defense” budget. Every single Democrat in the chamber voted in favor of the bill, explicitly naming Iran as persona non grata in the United States’ world-leading arms supply network, which has seen a 25 percent increase in exports since Obama took office in 2009.
The US government’s imperial ambitions are perhaps its only truly bipartisan project—what the New York Times euphemistically refers to as “globalism.” Nowhere was this on fuller display than at the funeral for Republican Sen. John McCain (FAIR.org, 9/11/18), where politicians of all stripes were tripping over themselves to produce the best accolades for a man who infamously sang“bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran” to the tune of a Beach Boys song.
McCain’s bloodlust was nothing new. Nearly a hundred years ago, after the West’s imperial competition culminated in the most destructive war the world had ever seen, the brilliant American sociologist and anti-colonial author WEB Du Bois wrote, “This is not Europe gone mad; this is not aberration nor insanity; this is Europe.”
Iranian leaders have repeatedly said they do not want war with the US (AP, 9/27/18), but US corporate media, despite frequently characterizing Trump as a “mad king” (FAIR.org, 6/13/18), continue to play an instrumental role in rationalizing a future war with Iran. Should such an intentional catastrophe come to pass, we can hardly say that this would be America gone mad; war is not aberration, it is always presented as the next sane choice. This is America.

Tijdens de Neurenberg processen werd het excuus ‘Befehl ist Befehl’ onderuit gehaald als onzin, immers je hebt je ten allen tijde aan de (internationale) rechtsorde te houden en als dat niet kan valt het toch echt onder jouw eigen verantwoording als je je schuldig maakt aan (oorlogs-) misdaden….. Ondanks deze juridische geschiedenis, gebruikt Washington dit valse ‘Befehl ist Befehl’ excuus voor de nieuwe directeur van de CIA, Gina Haspel…….

Gina Haspel, een psychopaat die niet alleen toezag op martelingen, maar ook voor de lol zelf mensen martelde in een geheime CIA gevangenis in Thailand, is dus door Trump benoemd tot de nieuwe directeur van de CIA……. Dit nadat Mike Pompeo, tot nu directeur van de CIA, een al even grote psychopaat en voorstander van het disfunctionerende martelen, tot minister van buitenlandse zaken werd benoemd…….

Pompeo heeft meermaals gezegd dat martelen wel effectief is (wetenschappelijk bewezen onjuist) en dat alles volgens de (VS) wet is toegestaan…… (dat is niet zo, maar slimme juristen vinden wel een zwak punt in de wet, waarmee bij wijze van spreken alles gerechtvaardigd kan worden, ook als het bijvoorbeeld gaat om martelen…..)

WASHINGTON BREAKS OUT THE “JUST FOLLOWING ORDERS” NAZI DEFENSE FOR CIA DIRECTOR-DESIGNATE GINA HASPEL

DURING THE NUREMBERG TRIALS after World War II, several Nazis, including top German generals Alfred Jodl and Wilhelm Keitel, claimed they were not guilty of the tribunal’s charges because they had been acting at the directive of their superiors.
Ever since, this justification has been popularly known as the “Nuremberg defense,” in which the accused states they were “only following orders.”
The Nuremberg judges rejected the Nuremberg defense, and both Jodl and Keitel were hanged. The United Nations International Law Commission later codified the underlying principle from Nuremberg as “the fact that a person acted pursuant to order of his Government or of a superior does not relieve him from responsibility under international law, provided a moral choice was in fact possible to him.”
This is likely the most famous declaration in the history of international law and is as settled as anything possibly can be.
However, many members of the Washington, D.C. elite are now stating that it, in fact, is a legitimate defense for American officials who violate international law to claim they were just following orders.

Specifically, they say Gina Haspel, a top CIA officer whom President Donald Trump has designated to be the agency’s next director, bears no responsibility for the torture she supervised during George W. Bush’s administration.
Haspel oversaw a secret “black site” in Thailand, at which prisoners were waterboarded and subjected to other severe forms of abuse. Haspel later participated in the destruction of the CIA’s videotapes of some of its torture sessions. There is informed speculation that part of the CIA’s motivation for destroying these records may have been that they showed operatives employing torture to generate false “intelligence” used to justify the invasion of Iraq.
John Kiriakou, a former CIA operative who helped capture many Al Qaeda prisoners, recently said that Haspel was known to some at the agency as “Bloody Gina” and that “Gina and people like Gina did it, I think, because they enjoyed doing it. They tortured just for the sake of torture, not for the sake of gathering information.” (In 2012, in a convoluted case, Kiriakou pleaded guilty to leaking the identity of a covert CIA officer to the press and spent a year in prison.)
Some of Haspel’s champions have used the exact language of the popular version of the Nuremberg defense, while others have paraphrased it.
One who paraphrased it is Michael Hayden, former director of both the CIA and the National Security Agency. In a Wednesday op-ed, Hayden endorsed Haspel as head of the CIA, writing that “Haspel did nothing more and nothing less than what the nation and the agency asked her to do, and she did it well.”
Hayden later said on Twitter that Haspel’s actions were “consistent with U.S. law as interpreted by the department of justice.” This is true: In 2002, the Office of Legal Counsel at the Justice Department declared in a series of notorious memosthat it was legal for the U.S. to engage in “enhanced interrogation techniques” that were obviously torture. Of course, the actions of the Nuremberg defendants had also been “legal” under German law.
John Brennan, who ran the CIA under President Barack Obama, made similar remarks on Tuesday when asked about Haspel. The Bush administration had decided that its torture program was legal, said Brennan, and Haspel “tried to carry out her duties at CIA to the best of her ability, even when the CIA was asked to do some very difficult things.”
Texas Republican Rep. Will Hurd used the precise language of the Nuremberg defense during a Tuesday appearance on CNN when Wolf Blitzer asked him to respond to a statement from Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz.: “The Senate must do its job in scrutinizing the record and involvement of Gina Haspel in this disgraceful program.”
Hurd, a member of the House Intelligence Committee and a former CIA operative as well, told Blitzer that “this wasn’t Gina’s idea. She was following orders. … She implemented orders and was doing her job.”

 Hurd also told Blitzer, “You have to remember where we were at that moment, thinking that another attack was going to happen.”
This is another defense that is explicitly illegitimate under international law. The U.N. Convention Against Torture, which was transmitted to the Senate by Ronald Reagan in 1988, statesthat “no exceptional circumstances whatsoever, whether a state of war or a threat or war, internal political instability or any other public emergency, may be invoked as a justification of torture.”
Notably, Blitzer did not have any follow-up questions for Hurd about his jarring comments.
Samantha Winograd, who served on President Obama’s National Security Council and now is an analyst for CNN, likewise used Nuremberg defense language in an appearance on the network. Haspel, she said, “was implementing the lawful orders of the president. … You could argue she should have quit because the program was so abhorrent. But she was following orders.”
Last but not least there’s Rich Lowry, editor of National Review, who issued a ringing defense of Haspel in Politico, claiming she was merely acting “in response to what she was told were lawful orders.”
Remarkably, this perspective has even seeped into the viewpoint of regular journalists. At a recent press conference at which Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Paul criticized Haspel, a reporter asked him to respond to “the counterargument” that “these policies were signed off by the Bush administration. … They were considered lawful at the time.”
It fell to Paul to make the obvious observation that appears to have eluded almost everyone else in official Washington: “This has been historically a question we’ve asked in every war: Is there a point at which soldiers say ‘no’? … Horrendous things happened in World War II, and people said, well, the German soldiers were just obeying orders. … I think there’s a point at which, even suffering repercussions, that if someone asks you to torture someone that you should say no.”

Trumps vrede met Rusland weer van de kaart met aanstelling McMaster?

Donald ‘het beest’ Trump liet tijdens de verkiezingen weten, dat hij de relaties met Rusland wilde verbeteren en ook na zijn verkiezing noemde hij dit nog een paar keer. Intussen blijkt dat Trump zich heeft neergelegd bij de bestaande status quo: de Koude Oorlog 2.0.

Met het aanstellen van generaal McMaster* als nationale veiligheidsadviseur, heeft Trump bevestigd, dat hij zich heeft gevoegd bij de anti-Russische oorlogshitserij in het Pentagon en bij de geheime diensten, zoals de CIA en de NSA……….

McMaster is een oorlogshitser van de eerste orde en liegt dat het gedrukt staat, o.a. over Georgië, De Krim en Oekraïne (zoals u in het artikel hieronder kan lezen).

Hopes of Peace with Russia Could Be Crushed by Trump’s New National Security Advisor

(RPI)** President Trump has selected Gen. H.R. McMaster to be his National Security Advisor, replacing the short-lived Gen. Michael Flynn. Those breathing a sigh of relief that the rumored favorite John Bolton didn’t get the nod may want to hold that thought — and their breath. McMaster is not the man to guide President Trump toward better relations with Russia and less US interference in the internal affairs of others.

In fact, he believes the opposite.

In a speech*** delivered at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) just last May, Gen. McMaster blamed the lack of sufficient US military presence overseas for what he calls a more aggressive Russian geostrategic posturing.

Said the General:

“Even though it may have been apparent, at least since 2008, that Russia was changing its geostrategic behavior and engaging in…probing, probing at the far reaches of American power, our strategic response was to accelerate our withdrawal of…army forces from Europe. And what we’re seeing now is we’ve awakened to obviously this threat from Russia who is waging limited war for limited objectives. Annexing Crimea. Invading Ukraine. At zero cost. And consolidating gains over that territory, and portraying the reaction by us and partners as escalatory. … What is required is forward deterrence. To be able to ratchet up the cost at the frontier.”

The General also made the completely fallacious assertion that Russia invaded Georgia in 2008. Even the highly critical if not overtly anti-Russia European Union concluded that Georgia was to blame for launching an ill-advised attack on Russian peacekeeping forces that were part of an international mission in South Ossetia.

Does this sound like someone who is going to work to help President Trump improve relations with Russia?

No wonder neocons Max Boot and Sen. John McCain are absolutely thrilled with Trump’s choice of McMaster to be National Security Advisor.

Sen. McCain, who just returned from attacking President Trump at the Munich Security Conference for not being harder on Russia, said today that McMaster:

“…knows how to succeed. I give President Trump great credit for this decision, as well as his national security cabinet choices. I could not imagine a better, more capable national security team than the one we have right now.”

Max Boot had a similar reaction:

“H.R. McMaster is one of the most impressive army officers of his generation—a rare combination of soldier and scholar.”

McMaster’s claim to fame was the 1997 Dereliction of Duty, which is billed as a brave attack on the mistake of the Vietnam war, but was in fact largely focused on the failure to devote enough resources to actually winning the war — a typical neocon critique of failed military interventions.

Is McMaster a worse choice than John Bolton? Perhaps. Whereas Bolton would have been under the microscope, McMaster may just be able, due to his military history, be able to avoid close scrutiny.
Whatever the case, McMaster is all about conflict with Russia. Will his boss keep him in check?

Het volgende artikel vond ik op het blog van Stan van Houcke en is geschreven door Robert Parry. Het betreft een analyse over de situatie in Oekraïne en hoe e.e.a. zover heeft kunnen komen. Zoals op deze plek al vaker betoogt, het westen heeft o.l.v. de VS de boel op scherp gezet in Oekraïne…..

 Parry schrijft dat Oekraïne weleens de volgende ‘failed state’, of ‘mislukte staat’ staat kan worden, m.i. is Oekraïne dat al. Parry beschrijft zelfs de voorwaarden daarvoor. Voorts stelt Parry, dat Putin daar vervolgens de schuld voor zal krijgen, echter ik heb al politici horen zeggen, dat de chaos en enorme corruptie in Oekraïne, te danken is aan de Russen en Putin in het bijzonder………

 Uiteraard wordt daar door de afhankelijke reguliere media in één adem bij vertelt, dat Rusland aan de kant van de ‘pro-Russische opstandelingen’ vecht in Oost-Oekraïne, terwijl daar geen splinter bewijs voor is…..

 Trouwens een belachelijk verhaal, dat laatste, immers als het Russische leger echt had gevochten in Oost-Oekraïne, was niet alleen Oost-Oekraïne allang gezuiverd van de neonazi’s*, maar was ook Kiev allang bevrijd. Op dat moment zou Porosjenko allang in het buitenland hebben gezeten, waar hij van ‘zijn’ enorme kapitalen zou hebben genoten, kapitalen die hij via corruptie en fraude het Oekraïense volk heeft ontstolen……

Reality Peeks Through in Ukraine

Exclusive: With corruption rampant and living standards falling, Ukraine may become the next failed state that “benefited” from a neoconservative-driven “regime change,” though the blame will always be placed elsewhere in this case, on the demonized Russian President Putin, writes Robert Parry.

 Nearly two years since U.S. officials helped foment a coup in Ukraine partly justified by corruption allegations the country continues to wallow in graft and cronyism as the living standards for average Ukrainians plummet, according to economic data and polls of public attitudes.

 Even the neocon-oriented Wall Street Journal took note of the worsening corruption in a Jan. 1, 2016 article observing that “most Ukrainians say the revolution’s promise to replace rule by thieves with the rule of law has fallen short and the government acknowledges that there is still much to be done.”

Actually, the numbers suggest something even worse. More and more Ukrainians rate corruption as a major problem facing the nation, including a majority of 53 percent last September, up from 48 percent last June and 28 percent in September 2014, according to polls by International Foundation for Electoral Systems.

Meanwhile, Ukraine’s GDP has fallen in every quarter since the Feb. 22, 2014 putsch that overthrew elected President Viktor Yanukovych. Since then, the average Ukrainian also has faced economic “reforms” to slash pensions, energy subsidies and other social programs, as demanded by the International Monetary Fund.

In other words, the hard lives of most Ukrainians have gotten significantly harder while the elites continue to skim off whatever cream is left, including access to billions of dollars in the West’s foreign assistance that is keeping the economy afloat.

Part of the problem appears to be that people supposedly responsible for the corruption fight are themselves dogged by allegations of corruption. The Journal cited Ukrainian lawmaker Volodymyr Parasyuk who claimed to be so outraged by graft that he expressed his fury “by kicking in the face an official he says owns luxury properties worth much more than a state salary could provide.”

However, the Journal also noted that “parliament is the site of frequent mass brawls [and] it is hard to untangle all the overlapping corruption allegations and squabbling over who is to blame. Mr. Parasyuk himself was named this week as receiving money from an organized crime suspect, a claim he denies.”

Then, there is the case of Finance Minister Natalie Jaresko, who is regarded by top American columnists as the face of Ukraine’s reform. Indeed, a Wall Street Journal op-ed last month by Stephen
Sestanovich, a senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, hailed Jaresko as “a tough reformer” whose painful plans include imposing a 20 percent “flat tax” on Ukrainians (a favorite nostrum of the American Right which despises a progressive tax structure that charges the rich at a higher rate).

 Sestanovich noted that hedge-fund billionaire George Soros, who has made a fortune by speculating in foreign currencies, has endorsed Jaresko’s plan but that it is opposed by some key parliamentarians who favor a “populist” alternative that Sestanovich says “will cut rates, explode the deficit, and kiss IMF money good-bye.”

Yet, Jaresko is hardly a paragon of reform. Prior to getting instant Ukrainian citizenship and becoming Finance Minister in December 2014, she was a former U.S. diplomat who had been entrusted to run a $150 million U.S.-taxpayer-funded program to help jump-start an investment economy in Ukraine and Moldova.

Jaresko’s compensation was capped at $150,000 a year, a salary that many Americans would envy, but it was not enough for her. So, she engaged in a variety of maneuvers to evade the cap and enrich herself by claiming millions of dollars in bonuses and fees.

Ultimately, Jaresko was collecting more than $2 million a year after she shifted management of the Western NIS Enterprise Fund (WNISEF) to her own private company, Horizon Capital, and arranged to get lucrative bonuses when selling off investments, even as the overall WNISEF fund was losing money, according to official records.


For instance, Jaresko collected $1.77 million in bonuses in 2013, according to WNISEF’s latest available filing with the Internal Revenue Service. In her financial disclosure forms with the Ukrainian government, she reported earning $2.66 million in 2013 and $2.05 million in 2014, thus amassing a sizeable personal fortune while investing U.S. taxpayers’ money supposedly to benefit the Ukrainian people.

It didn’t matter that WNISEF continued to hemorrhage money, shrinking from its original $150 million to $89.8 million in the 2013 tax year, according to the IRS filing. WNISEF reported that the bonuses to Jaresko and other corporate officers were based on “successful” exits from some investments even if the overall fund was losing money. Though Jaresko’s enrichment schemes are documented by IRS and other official filings, the mainstream U.S. media has turned a blind eye to this history, all the better to pretend that Ukraine’s “reform” process is in good hands. (It also turns out that Jaresko did not comply with Ukrainian law that permits only single citizenship; she has kept her U.S. passport exploiting a loophole that gives her two years to show that she has renounced her U.S. citizenship.)

Propaganda over Reality

Yet, as good as propaganda can be especially when the U.S. government and mainstream media are moving in lockstep reality is not always easily managed. Ukraine’s continuing and some say worsening corruption prompted last month’s trip to Ukraine by Vice President Joe Biden who gave a combination lecture and pep talk to Ukraine’s parliament.

Of course, Biden has his own Ukraine cronyism problem because three months after the U.S.-backed overthrow of the Yanukovych government, Ukraine’s largest private gas firm, Burisma Holdings, appointed his son, Hunter Biden, to its board of directors.

 Burisma a shadowy Cyprus-based company also lined up well-connected lobbyists, some with ties to Secretary of State John Kerry, including Kerry’s former Senate chief of staff David Leiter, according to lobbying disclosures.

As Time magazine reported, “Leiter’s involvement in the firm rounds out a power-packed team of politically-connected Americans that also includes a second new board member, Devon Archer, a Democratic bundler and former adviser to John Kerry’s 2004 presidential campaign. Both Archer and Hunter Biden have worked as business partners with Kerry’s son-in-law, Christopher Heinz, the founding partner of Rosemont Capital, a private-equity company.”


According to investigative journalism inside Ukraine, the ownership of Burisma has been traced to Privat Bank, which is controlled by the thuggish billionaire oligarch Ihor Kolomoysky, who was appointed by the U.S.-backed “reform” regime to be governor of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, a south-central province of Ukraine (though Kolomoisky was eventually ousted from that post in a power struggle over control of UkrTransNafta, Ukraine’s state-owned oil pipeline operator).

In his December speech, Biden lauded the sacrifice of the 100 or so protesters who died during the Maidan clashes in February 2014, referring to them by their laudatory name “The Heavenly Hundred.” But Biden made no heavenly references to the estimated 10,000 people, mostly ethnic Russians, who have been slaughtered in the U.S.-encouraged “Anti-Terror Operation” waged by the coup regime against eastern Ukrainians who objected to the violent ouster of President Yanukovych, who had won large majorities in those areas.

Apparently, heaven is not as eager to welcome ethnic Russian victims of U.S.-inspired political violence. Nor did Biden take note that some of the Heavenly Hundred were street fighters for neo-Nazi and other far-right nationalist organizations.

But after making his sugary references to The Heavenly Hundred Biden delivered his bitter medicine, an appeal for the parliament to continue implementing IMF “reforms,” including demands that old people work longer into their old age.

Biden said, “For Ukraine to continue to make progress and to keep the support of the international community you have to do more, as well. The big part of moving forward with your IMF program — it requires difficult reforms. And they are difficult.

 “Let me say parenthetically here, all the experts from our State Department and all the think tanks, and they come and tell you, that you know what you should do is you should deal with pensions. You should deal with — as if it’s easy to do. Hell, we’re having trouble in America dealing with it. We’re having trouble. To vote to raise the pension age is to write your political obituary in many places.

“Don’t misunderstand that those of us who serve in other democratic institutions don’t understand how hard the conditions are, how difficult it is to cast some of the votes to meet the obligations committed to under the IMF. It requires sacrifices that might not be politically expedient or popular. But they’re critical to putting Ukraine on the path to a future that is economically secure. And I urge you to stay the course as hard as it is. Ukraine needs a budget that’s consistent with your IMF commitments.”

Eroding Support

But more and more Ukrainians appear to see through the charade in Kiev, as the poll numbers on the corruption crisis soar. Meanwhile, European officials seem to be growing impatient with the Ukraine crisis which has added to the drag on the Continent’s economies because the Obama administration strong-armed the E.U. into painful economic sanctions against Russia, which had come to the defense of the embattled ethnic Russians in the east.

“Many E.U. officials are fed up with Ukraine,” said one Western official quoted by the Journal, which added that “accusations of graft by anticorruption activists, journalists and diplomats have followed to the new government.”

The Journal said those implicated include some early U.S. favorites, such as Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, “whose ratings have plummeted to single digits amid allegations in the media and among anticorruption activists of his associates’ corrupt dealings. Mr. Yatsenyuk has denied any involvement in corruption and his associates, one of whom resigned from parliament over the controversy this month, deny wrongdoing.”

The controversy over Yatsenyuk’s alleged cronyism led to an embarrassing moment in December 2015 when an anti-Yatsenyuk lawmaker approached the podium with a bouquet of roses, which the slightly built Yatsenyuk accepted only to have the lawmaker lift him up and try to carry him from the podium.

 In many ways, the Ukraine crisis represents just another failure of neocon-driven “regime change,” which has also spread chaos across the Middle East and northern Africa. But the neocons appear to have even a bigger target in their sites, another “regime change” in Moscow, with Ukraine just a preliminary move. Of course, that scheme could put in play nuclear war.

Taking Aim

The Ukraine “regime change” took shape in 2013 after Russian President Putin and President Barack Obama collaborated to tamp down crises in Syria and Iran, two other prime targets for neocon “regime changes.” American neocons were furious that those hopes were dashed. Ukraine became Putin’s payback.

In fall 2013, the neocons took aim at Ukraine, recognizing its extreme sensitivity to Russia which had seen previous invasions, including by the Nazis in World War II, pass through the plains of Ukraine and into Russia. Carl Gershman, neocon president of the U.S.-funded National Endowment for Democracy, cited Ukraine as the “biggest prize” and a key step toward unseating Putin in Moscow.  Initially, the hope was that Yanukovych would lead Ukraine into an economic collaboration with Europe while cutting ties to Russia. But Yanukovych received a warning from top Ukrainian economists that a hasty split with neighboring Russia would cost the country a staggering $160 billion in lost income.

 So, Yanukovych sought to slow down the process, prompting angry protests especially from western Ukrainians who descended on Maidan square. Though initially peaceful, neo-Nazi and other nationalist militias soon infiltrated the protests and began ratcheting up the violence, including burning police with Molotov cocktails.

Meanwhile, U.S.-funded non-governmental organizations, such as the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (which receives money from USAID and hedge-fund billionaire George Soros’s Open Society), hammered away at alleged corruption in the Yanukovych government.

In December 2013, Nuland reminded Ukrainian business leaders that the United States had invested $5 billion in their “European aspirations,” and in an intercepted phone call in early February 2014 she discussed with U.S. Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt who Ukraine’s new leaders would be.

 “Yats is the guy,” Nuland said of Arseniy Yatsenyuk, as she also disparaged a less aggressive approach by the European Union with the pithy phrase: “Fuck the E.U.” (Nuland, a former aide to ex-Vice President Dick Cheney, is the wife of arch-neoconservative ideologue Robert Kagan.)

Sen. John McCain also urged on the protests, telling one group of right-wing Ukrainian nationalists that they had America’s backing. And, the West’s mainstream media fell in love with the Maidan protesters as innocent white hats and thus blamed the worsening violence on Yanukovych. Urging Restraint

In Biden’s December 2015 speech to the parliament, he confirmed that he personally pressed on President Yanukovych the need to avoid violence. “I was literally on the phone with your former President urging restraint,” Biden said.

 However, on Feb. 20, 2014, mysterious snipers apparently from buildings controlled by the far right fired on and killed policemen as well as some protesters. The bloodshed sparked other violent clashes as armed rioters battled with retreating police.

Although the dead included some dozen police officers, the violence was blamed on Yanukovych, who insisted that he had ordered the police not to use lethal force in line with Biden’s appeal. But the State Department and the West’s mainstream media made Yanukovych the black-hatted villain.

The next day, Feb. 21, Yanukovych signed an accord negotiated and guaranteed by three European nations to accept reduced powers and early elections so he could be voted out of office if that was the public’s will. However, as police withdrew from the Maidan, the rioters, led by neo-Nazi militias called sotins, stormed government buildings on Feb. 22, forcing Yanukovych and other officials to flee for their lives.

 In the West’s mainstream media, these developments were widely hailed as a noble “revolution” and with lumps in their throats many journalists averted their misty eyes from the key role played by unsavory neo-Nazis, so as not to dampen the happy narrative (although BBC was among the few MSM outlets that touched on this inconvenient reality).

Ever since, the major U.S. news media has stayed fully on board, ignoring evidence that what happened was a U.S.-sponsored coup. The MSM simply explains all the trouble as a case of naked “Russian aggression.

There were kudos, too, when “reformer” Natalie Jaresko was made Finance Minister along with other foreign “technocrats.” There was no attention paid to evidence about the dark underside of the Ukrainian “revolution of dignity,” as Biden called it.

Though the neo-Nazis sometimes even teamed up with Islamic jihadists were the tip of the spear slashing through eastern Ukraine, their existence was either buried deep inside stories or dismissed as “Russian propaganda.”

 That was, in effect, American propaganda and, as clever as it was, it could only control reality for so long.

Even though the fuller truth about Ukraine has never reached the American people, there comes a point when even the best propagandists have to start modifying their rosy depictions. Ukraine appears to have reached that moment.

Deutsche Wirtschafts Nachrichten bracht vanmorgen een artikel waarin wordt gemeld dat de VS zich opmaakt voor oorlog tegen Rusland……. Voor de regelmatige lezer van alternatieve media en van dit blog geen verrassing, het grote verschil is, dat de regering van de VS nu openlijk spreekt over oorlogvoering tegen Rusland…… Daarmee wordt het verhaal in de reguliere afhankelijke media organen doorgeprikt, dat het een complottheorie is, te waarschuwen voor het gevaar dat het tot een oorlog met Rusland komt en daarmee WOIII een feit zal zijn…….

Joseph Francis Dunford, marinier generaal en de joint chiefs of staff voorzitter, zei in een hoorzitting van het congres, dat een vliegverbod instellen in Syrië tot een oorlog met Syrië en Rusland zal leiden. Dunford stelde dat hij een dergelijke beslissing niet op zich kon nemen. Oorlogshitser John McCain drong er bij Dunford op aan zijn woorden te relativeren, zie begin van de volgende video:

Al een aantal dagen probeerde ‘hardline’ senator Graham Dunford te bewegen de afzetting van de Syrische president Assad als militair doel aan te wijzen. Graham wees Dunford erop, dat het de ‘hardliners’ er om gaat, te weten of Assad nog aan het bewind zal zijn, als Obama het Witte Huis verlaat. Dunford duidelijk vermoeid, verzocht of hij zich aan de politieke druk mocht onttrekken, zie:

De Washington Post berichtte dat de geheime diensten en delen van het Pentagon Obama willen bewegen, toestemming te geven militaire vliegvelden in Syrië te bombarderen. De kans daarop is uitermate klein, de Post stelde, dat daarom leden van het Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken, de CIA en de generale staf een paar andere opties hebben ‘gelanceerd’. Zoals het bestoken van de landingsbanen van de vliegvelden door/met vliegtuigen, kruisraketten en andere lange afstandswapens….. Dit zou met vliegtuigen van de VS coalitie en haar oorlogsschepen moeten worden uitgevoerd. Een andere mogelijkheid is levering van modern wapentuig aan internationale ‘strijders’ (lees; moorddadige terroristen)………

Daar het Witte Huis niets wenst te doen, zonder een resolutie van de VN Veiligheidsraad*, stellen de ‘hardliners’, dat de VS aanvallen zou kunnen doen, die niet terug te leiden zijn naar de VS (daar heeft de VS ruime ervaring mee, ook in Syrië!)…. Dit plan wordt gesteund door de CIA en de vice voorzitter van de generale staf generaal Paul Selva. Met andere woorden: de VS wil aanvallen uitvoeren, die niet terug te leiden zijn naar de eigen (terreur) legermacht en daarmee het eigen volk (en de rest van de wereld) te besodemieteren………

Dat het de VS ernst is, blijkt wel uit het feit, dat de VS de belangrijkste NAVO leden consulteert met deze plannen. Vandaag vindt er in Berlijn een Syrië overleg plaats in het Duitse ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken, tussen de directeuren van deze ministeries uit Groot-Brittannië, Frankrijk Italië en een VS delegatie. Volgens bronnen in de VS zal daar ook worden gesproken over het verzwaren van de sancties tegen Syrië en Rusland……

McCain vreest intussen het verlies van ‘activa’ in Syrië, waarmee hij de door de VS getrainde en bewapende terroristen bedoelt…… Dunford weigerde aanvankelijk te zeggen, dat de aanval op een hulpkonvooi en loodsen met hulpgoederen op 17 september jl., door de Russen en het Syrische leger werd gepleegd, waarna hij onder druk van senator Graham stelde dat ‘het een mogelijkheid kan zijn……’ Dit terwijl duidelijk is, dat dit konvooi door terreurgroepen op de grond werd aangevallen en niet werd gebombardeerd door de Russen en Syriërs…..

De Russische minister van Buitenlandse Zaken Lavrov, stelde dat de VS duidelijk niet de terroristen van al-Nusra (en andere terreurgroepen) wenst te bombarderen. De VS wil deze groepen gebruiken voor ‘een plan B’ om Assad af te zetten…… Zie de volgende video:

Zoals u wellicht weet, op deze plek heb ik al vaak geschreven over het feit dat de reguliere media in het westen, dus ook in ons land, zich bezondigen aan leugens. Leugens die niets anders zijn dan smerige propaganda voor bijvoorbeeld de buitenlandpolitiek van de VS, een politiek die door praktisch de hele EU als de weg, de waarheid en het leven wordt gezien. Neem alle leugens over MH17, of de smerige oorlog die Porosjenko, de neonazi juntaleider van Oekraïne voert tegen zijn eigen bevolking in het oosten van dat land. Wat betreft Syrië is het al geen haar beter. Gisteren vond ik het volgende artikel op het blog van Stan van Houcke, onder de titel: ‘Vileine NOS propaganda’, wordt hier nauwgezet weergegeven en uitgelegd hoe we dagelijks glashard worden voorgelogen:

Op 1 februari lanceerde het Syrische leger samen met de Russische luchtmacht een grootschalig offensief om Aleppo, de voormalige economische hoofdstad van het land, te bevrijden. Het ging daarbij om een deel dat sinds 2012 in handen was van de zogenaamde rebellen.’Zogenaamd’ omdat er werkelijk niets normaal is aan rebellen, die worden gesteund door een geraffineerde mix van internationale conglomeraten van landen en industrieën.. Het is precies weer de leugen die als waarheid wordt gepresenteerd.. De ‘rebellen’ zijn goed bezig en willen de ‘grote boze wolf’ verdrijven.
Maar kijk eens naar het verleden, naar de schandalige Rothschild-plundertochten die zijn uitgevoerd in Libië en Irak, om maar 2 heftige voorbeelden te noemen.. En geloof je niet dat dit zo is, dan raden we je NOGMAALS aan het artikel te lezen over de mastermind Gene Sharp, de slimme professor, die ervoor zorgde dat het Amerikaanse Rothschild-imperialisme niet meer in de openbaarheid hoefde te komen, maar door ‘GEWELDLOZE REVOLUTIES’ ook kan worden uitgevoerd.. En ja, daar hoort een groot propaganda-verhaal bij.. Media die nieuws klakkeloos overnemen van persbureaus, die in handen zijn van dezelfde Rothschild-kliek die de oorlog financiert en ordoneert..!!

En ja, natuurlijk is het toverwoord ‘Democratie’.. Natuurlijk willen we allemaal ‘vrije mensen’ en gewelddadige dictators’ opruimen. Nee, het zijn geen schatjes, helemaal eens.. Maar kijk alsjeblieft door de dubbele verraad heen. Kijk naar de sprookjes die je op de mouw worden gespeld.. Kijk naar de lege propganda van een nationale nieuwskanaal als de NOS..!! Kijk naar hoe het eenzijdig -in het geval van de MH17- Poetin als de dader brandmerkt.. Zonder zélf ook maar een poot uit te steken in het kader van onderzoeksjournalistiek..!

Zoals gewoonlijk begonnen de media in het geval van de strijd om Aleppo.allerlei berichten te verspreiden, over ‘horden mensen die op de vlucht waren geslagen’. Maar wat er totaal VERZWEGEN WORDT in het plaatje zijn beelden van inwoners van de westelijke wijken van de stad, die de overheidstroepen onthaalden als bevrijders. Kijk en vooral: OORDEEL zelf..!


En wat krijgen we in het Westen te zien?
Wat doet onze nationale ‘neutrale’ NOS-redactie..?? Kijk goed en je ziet de geraffineerde propaganda dóór het zg.neutrale nieuws heen.. Je noemt het bewind van Assad gewoon ‘regime’ en de tienduizenden (!!) door de VS militair gesteunde troepen, noem je ‘oppositiestrijders’.. In Libië waren het ‘vrijheidsstrijders’.. Tja, dan is het verhaaltje toch duidelijk?
Zeker als dan in de verslaggeving van de NOS van dinsdag 9 februari ook nog even ‘onze David Jan, onze man in Moskou’ tevoorschijn komt.. Klik op deze illustratie hieronder en kijk en oordeel vooral ZELF..! Hopelijk zie je de geraffineerde propaganda, de vooringenomenheid van een Nederlandse nationale nieuwsdienst..!

In 2011 waren de eerste demonstraties in Syrië, waar -in navolging van buurlanden- demonstranten de straat op gingen. Westerse landen bemoeiden zich met het conflict, en bewapenden de oppositie. Kijkend naar het verhaal van Gene Sharp WEET JE DAT DE DEMONSTRATIES ZIJN GEINITIEERD DOOR DEZE WESTERSE CLUBS.. Burgeroorlogen waren het gevolg, waarbij de tienduizenden Syriërs die tégen de Assad-overheid demonstrerden, WEL volop de aandacht van internationale media. Maar er was geen aandacht voro de honderdduizenden Syriërs de OOK de straat opgingen om te laten zien dat ze juist achter president Assad stonden!! Jij kreeg daar als Nederlander niets van te zien. Kijk eens naar dit uiterst sluwe, vooropgezette plan, om landen ‘te veroveren’.. Kijk naar ‘de revolutieprofessionals’ van de Oostenrijkse televisie. Een uitzending die daags erná al van de Oostenrijkse ‘uitzending gemist’ werd gehaald..!!


Er volgden demonstraties, precies zoals de geraffineerde professor, dr. Gene Sharp in zijn theorie over de geweldloze revolutie laat zien en voorspelt..! Syrische politieagenten sloegen tegendemonstranten met de harde hand neer en dat werd wel getoond op het nieuws. Waarom zij dit deden was niet belangrijk, want de wereldbevolking diende Assad immers te gaan zien als de slechterik, en dit was het perfecte moment om hem te ‘framen’.

 Nadat er vanuit de demonstranten geschoten werd op Syrische politieagenten, schoten de politieagenten terug; hierbij werden meerdere agenten doodgeschoten.Dit zou in Nederland toch niet veel anders afgelopen zijn, of wel? En ja, ditzelfde propagandaverhaal vond plaats in Libië, waarbij achteraf bleek dat er leden van Al-Qaida tussen de tegenstanders van Gaddafi meeliepen. De BBC werd bij de voorbereidingen van de val van Gadaffi betrapt op het vervalsen van nieuws..!

Het is 2011 en Syrië is aan de beurt om te vallen. Het truukje van Gene Sharp wordt aangezwengeld en de 'opstandelingen' komen tevoorschijn. De steun van de bevolking aan president Assad wordt niet getoond.. Want herken je deze beelden..?

Toen liepen de demonstraties in Syrië uit in een bloedige burgeroorlog tussen voor- en tegenstanders van president Assad. En wist jij -over deze man sprekend- dat Assad (1965) sinds 2000 de president van Syrië is en dat hij zijn vader Hafiz al-Assad opvolgde, die Syrië 29 jaar had geregeerd. Bashar al-Assad werd gekozen tot president in 2000 en herkozen in 2007 met 99,8% en in 2014 met 88,7% van de stemmen.

Tijdens deze bloedige demonstraties worden de tegenstanders – zoals gewoonlijk – en vooral ‘avontuurlijk’ gesteund door het
westen. En dit keer ook door de Arabische landen en NATO-partner Turkije. Rusland en China zijn bondgenoten en steunen Assad militair. Russische straaljagers bombarderen inmiddels alle groeperingen die tegen het Syrische leger vechten; zonder deze Russische steun zou Assad allang gevallen zijn. En ja dan Syrië er niet veel anders uitgezien hebben dan de smerige puinhoop die we nu in Libië en Irak terugvinden.

Wil je in ’n half uurtje de HELE situatie rondom dit Syrië-spel bekijken, dan is deze YouTube (met dank aan collega’s van ‘De Stille Waarheid’) een perfecte manier. Het is Frontline-journalist Martin Smith die één van de weinigen is, die het leven in Syrië tijdens de oorlog gefilmd heeft. En ja, dan spreken beelden méér dan duizend woorden dat kunnen. Laat je verrassen door deze beelden.

Een aanval op burgerdoelen in Ghouta, met chemische wapens, vond plaats op 21 augustus 2013 in de ochtend. Verschillende gebieden in de buitenwijken van Damascus, die door de oppositie werden gecontroleerd, werden getroffen door raketten met het chemische middel Sarin. Schattingen van het dodental variëren van een kleine 300 tot bijna 2000 mensen. Een aanval met chemische wapens, die sinds de Iran/Irak-oorlog niet meer gezien was. Bijzonder opmerkelijk was, dat de internationale media vanaf de eerste dag president Assad de schuld gaven van dit voorval. ZONDER ENIG BEWIJS; bewijs dat tot op de dag van vandaag ontbreekt. Kortom, we spreken hier over een van de smerigste ‘valse-vlag-operaties’ uit de recente geschiedenis.

Wat bijzonder is aan deze aanslag, is dat vóór deze aanval, op 18 augustus 2013, inspecteurs van een VN-missie naar Syrië waren gekomen. Op uitnodiging van de Syrische regering, om onderzoek te doen naar eerder, vermeende gebruik van chemische wapens. En wat denk jij? Had president Assad nou werkelijk chemische wapens gebruikt, terwijl VN-inspecteurs op zijn uitnodiging in zijn land aanwezig waren, om nota bene onderzoek te doen, naar chemische wapens..?? Volgens de Russen, was het een (van de vele bekende!!) valse-vlag-operaties, om president Assad te demoniseren? Nogmaals, er zijn tot nu toe, geen bewijzen gevonden die de betrokkenheid van (het leger van) president Assad aantonen..

En dan is er altijd nog het masker van ISIS, waarachter XX schuil gaat.
Sinds 2013 kennen we IS, ISIS, ISIL, een terroristische organisatie die, volgens ISIS zélf, sinds 1999 bestaat en volgens de VS afstamt van Al Qaida. Maar ja, daarvan weten we dat deze is gecreëerd door de CIA. ‘Daesh’, zoals ISIS ook wordt genoemd, is volop actief in Syrië en Irak en zou worden geleid door Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. Je vindt hier op de site veel informatie over deze nepfiguur, evenals de betrokkenheid van de VS bij deze poppenkast.. Kijk o.a. eens naar de ‘speciale gezant’ John McCain, die gewoon met deze Al-Baghdadi heeft zitten onderhandelen..!

En ja, de deal was gemaakt, want ná het uitbreken van de Syrische burgeroorlog werd ISIS plotseling erg actief en moest kennelijk de kooltjes uit het vuur halen.. Wat een grappige manier om je activiteiten te camoufleren, nietwaar..? ISIS was dus in Syrië actief en bleek vooral in voor een deal rondom de olie. Olie, die zoals veel bronnen melden, via een omweg (Turkije) ook in Israel terecht komt..! Sinds 2013 groeide deze ‘organisatie’ dus explosief, gefinancierd dus door één of meerdere supermachten.

Tja, als de klokkenluiders al van binnen de organisatie lekken en vertellen wat en wie ISIS/IS/ISIL is.. Wat is dan de krankzinnige gedachte dat we deze mensen NIET zouden geloven en de officiële kanalen wel..!! (klik voor artikel!)

En ja, later kwamen er bewijzen dat de steun vooral uit Arabische, maar ook uit westerse landen kwam. Documenten op Wikileaks onthullen dat de V.S. al vroeg wist over het bestaan van IS, maar hen ‘onder toeziend oog’ groter en machtiger liet worden. Zelfs het gegeven dat de CIA aan de oprichting stond van ISIS, wordt door velen als een uiterst reële zaak gezien.. En de wereld moest natuurlijk deze ‘grote boze wolf’ gaan vrezen, vanuit de meest afschuwelijke gruwelijkheden, die ISIS in naam van de islam zou plegen. Maar hoe werkelijk islamitisch is deze terroristische organisatie eigenlijk? ISIS schendt zowat ELKE Islamitische regel uit de Koran..!

Het zijn vooral de Turken, in het bijzonder de regering Erdoghan, die het dubbelspel ten volle spelen.. Schoppen naar twee kanten, om er in het midden met de buit vandoor te gaan.. Ja, ook dat heeft met oliebelangen te maken.. Kijk eens naar de foto hieronder, waaraan we snel een heel artikel zullen wijden. Het hele verhaal met Erdoghan loopt zelfs op een gegeven moment uit de hand, wanneer de Turken de Russische straaljager neerhalen. Vanzelfsprekend wordt Turkije door de NAVO gesteund in haar motivatie om de jager neer te schieten, maar Turkije blijft voor de NAVO een uiterst moeilijk opvoedbaar kind..

De familie Assad is ruim 45 jaar aan het bewind in Syrië. Dat zal heus niet zonder slag of stoot gaan. En net zoals in elk ander land tegenstand is tegen het ‘bewind’ (Kijk eens in NL naar de geweldloze fratsen die Rutte cs. uithalen m.b.t. geheimhouding en afbraak democratische principes..!!), heeft geen enkel ander land het recht, om een soeverein land aan te vallen en dit naar de ratsmedee te helpen.. En dat is precies wat er gebeurd was, wanneer Poetin’s Rusland niet had ingegrepen om zg. ISIS te verslaan. Het dubbelspel van de westerse machten werd afgebluft. Het is te hopen dat Syrié weer een welvarend land mag worden, onder wiens leiding dan ook.

 Dat het Syrische volk mag leven in soevereiniteit en onafhankelijkheid. Zonder de gecamoufleerde imperialistische bezettingsmacht die zich voor doet als ‘voorvechters van democratie’.. Wil je weten hoe Syrië eruit gezien zou hebben, wanneer de VS, NATO en vooral Israël en Saudi Arabië hun zin hadden gekregen.. Kijk dan eens naar de monsterlijke rotzooi die Libië geworden is en waar nu het recht van de sterkste geldt.. Met behulp van o.a. ‘ONZE NATO’ hebben we toch maar even deze klus geklaard.
