Het is dan ook duidelijk dat voor Nestlé de winsten ver voorgaan op de arbeidsvoorwaarden en het misbruiken van kinderen…..

Alleen al wat dat betreft zou Nestlé door het Internationaal Strafhof (ICC) in Den Haag strafrechtelijk moeten worden vervolgd….. Occupied Jerusalem (QNN)- The family of Abdul Muttaleb Khatib, a
43-year-old father of six children, published pictures proving that he
was tortured to death while held at Al Maskubiyyeh interrogation center
on Wednesday.
The pictures reveal that Khatib was tortured in all parts of his
body. Signs of torture appear on his head, face, knees, arms, neck and
teeth.
The family said that Abdul Muttaleb (34 years old) was in very good
health condition. He was a father of four children and his wife is
pregnant with a twin. He was detained for a traffic law violation.
Israeli Prison Service (IPS) announced Abdul Muttaleb’s death four
days after arresting him. It claimed that he died of a heart attack.
Hundreds of Palestinians took part in the victim’s funeral on the
early morning of Friday. Israeli authorities imposed restrictions on the
funeral, including burying the victim at night.
Eerder dit jaar heb ik al aandacht besteed aan het feit dat Joe Biden, de architect van de PATRIOT Act, een extra wet wil aannemen*, maar anders dan de PATRIOT Act, is deze gericht tegen binnenlandse terreur, alles n.a.v. de bestorming van het Capitol op 6 januari door Trump aanhang……. Echter de PATRIOT Act werd al misbruikt om iedereen in de VS met een internetaansluiting in de gaten te houden…… De schrijver van het artikel hieronder opgenomen, Leighton Woodhouse, vraagt zich af of we nu werkelijk moeten denken dat de PATRIOT Act 2.0 ofwel Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act (DTPA) zich alleen richt op gewelddadige racistische psychopaten, terwijl hij het antwoord al heeft gegeven: nee, met deze nieuwe wet zal men ook geweldloos verzet aanmerken als terreur, bijvoorbeeld verzet tegen grootschalige dierenmishandeling en mensen die zich vreedzaam verzetten tegen zaken als het aanleggen van een oliepijpleiding over de heilige gronden van de oorspronkelijke bevolking (al zal elke oliepijpleiding na verloop van tijd grote lekkages oplopen die bodem, ondergrond, grondwater en rivieren op een vreselijke manier vervuilen……)
Woodhouse noemt als voorbeeld van zware dierenmishandeling het wegwerken van ‘overschot aan varkensvlees’: door de Coronacrisis verdween een groot deel van de vraag naar varkensvlees (overigens ook door een boycot van China als reactie op de zoveelste sanctieverzwaring door de Trump administratie). De schoftenbedrijven die duizenden varkens hielden,hadden niet de mogelijkheid om varkens maar groter te laten worden, vanwege kosten voor voer en gebrek aan ruimte, ‘vandaar’ dat men de koeling van stallen uitzette, de ventilatie afsloot zodat dieren een afschuwelijke doodstrijd moesten voeren van vaak een paar uur, daarna gingen medewerkers de stallen in met een pistool en vermoordden elk dier dat nog een teken van leven gaf…..
Een chauffeur die zich het lot van de dieren aantrok schakelde een dierenactivist in, deze sloop heimelijk de stallen in bij wat ze in de VS een factory farm noemen en plaatste daar op meerdere plekken camera’s zodat deze zware dierenmishandeling kon worden getoond aan buitenstaanders….. Je snapt het al, niet de boeren die verantwoordelijk waren voor dit vreselijke dierenleed werden aangepakt maar degene die zich het lot van de dieren aantrok, terwijl deze met diens werk niemand in gevaar bracht…..
Woodhouse haalt een eerder geval aan: in 2011 ging een dierenactivist van Mercy For Animals (MFA) undercover werken bij Iowa Select Farms (ISF) en plaatste geheime camera’s waarmee deze het inhumane dierenleed 4 maanden lang filmde en naar buiten bracht. ISF kreeg hierdoor zware klappen daar supermarkten niet langer de door hen geleverde delen van kadavers wilden verkopen….. Het jaar daarop kreeg de lobby van dierenbeulen het voor elkaar dat er nieuwe wetgeving werd aangenomen (zogenaamde ‘Ag Gag’ wetgeving, die overigens in meerdere landbouwstaten werd doorgevoerd) waarmee de daden van dierenactivisme strafbaar werden gesteld, zoals het stiekem filmen en het daanra openbaren van vreselijke dierenmishandeling…… De wetten waren vaak slecht opgesteld zodat een federale rechter in 2019 een aantal van die wetten als onwettig aanmerkte, ook de wet die in Iowa in 2012 werd aangenomen.
Echter de lobby van deze dierenbeulen zat niet stil en bewerkten gouverneurs zoals de nieuwe gouverneur voor Iowa, Kim Reynolds die een grote gift had ontvangen van 2 leden van ISF en een maand nadat Reynolds werd geïnstalleerd voerde hij verdere Ag Gag wetgeving door……
Met de nieuwe DTPA wetgeving die Biden wil doorvoeren zal men straks bijna elk verzet tegen onrecht, racisme, dierenmishandeling en milieuvervuiling aanmerken als binnenlands terrorisme, hoe vreedzaam de groepen ook zijn die zich hiermee bezighouden…… In feite is dat een verdere aantasting van de vrijheid van meningsuiting en gelegaliseerde schending van mensenrechten……
Kortom: de VS gaat verder op het pad van politiestaat en geeft daarbij de grote bedrijven, ‘factory farms’ als ISF een carte blanche om met dieren te doen wat men wil, zoals het doodmartelen van varkens zoals hierboven beschreven…… In de VS noemt men dit soort activisten ‘links’, niet alleen in de politiek maar vooral ook in de reguliere media, zo kan je concluderen dat de jacht op links (‘communisten’) zoals eind 40er en begin 50er jaren onder McCarthy een nieuwe jas krijgt en waarbij alles dat lijkt op verzet tegen de inhumane neoliberale status quo zal worden weggezet als linkse terreur………
Moet nog wel opmerken dat het hier niet veel beter is, dierenactivisten worden meestal ook verguisd in de politiek en de media, hoe barbaars de zaken ook zijn die deze activisten aankaarten…….(zoals een paar jaar geleden toen dierenactivisten inbrakien in stallen van varkensboeren en filmden wat ze aan zware dierenmishandeling aantroffen….)

definition of “terrorism.”

Last May, several months
into a global pandemic that had capsized the economy, hog farmers had a
problem on their hands. With restaurants closed, demand for their
product had evaporated. With outbreaks shuttering meat processing plants
all over the country, they had nowhere to send their animals to be
slaughtered. If kept alive, the pigs would quickly outgrow facilities
designed to hold them only for highly abbreviated lives, and the costs
of feeding and watering them would become astronomical.
So
some major pork producers, among them Iowa’s largest, Iowa Select
Farms, made a horrifying decision. They would mass exterminate their
animals in one fell swoop, using a technique that promised efficiency
for themselves but guaranteed incomprehensible suffering for the pigs.
The method was called “ventilation shutdown,”
and it entailed, basically, roasting the pigs alive. Workers would
close all of the vents into the barns, shut down the air conditioning,
and pipe steam into the buildings until the animals died by asphyxiation
or hyperthermia, a process that took several hours. Then a worker would
walk through the piles of corpses with a captive bolt gun, shooting
whatever stragglers had survived.
The
company, however, was unaware that there was a whistleblower within
their ranks. An ISF truck driver named Lucas Walker, who had long been
appalled by the company’s treatment of its pigs, had informed an
activist named Matt Johnson of the company’s plans. Johnson snuck into
the barns, placed hidden cameras, and recorded video and audio of the
massacre to later release to the news media.

Neither
Johnson nor Walker is what most people of conscience would consider a
dangerous political extremist. They had no desire to bring any physical
harm to anyone; on the contrary, they were moved by the cause of putting
a halt to needless suffering. But both a new state law in Iowa and a
bill currently being considered in Congress could render them such in
the eyes of the criminal justice system. It is just one example of the
moral hazard posed by the ongoing effort in Congress and within the
Biden administration to erect a new domestic security state apparatus in
response to the Trump years and the Capitol Riot — an effort the CIA
has joined, while animal rights groups and environmental campaigners
have been explicitly listed among its targets.
In 2011, Iowa Select Farms
had been the subject of an undercover investigation by the animal
rights group Mercy For Animals. Liz Pachaud, an animal rights activist
with MFA, had taken a job at the farm and, over the course of four
months, documented appalling conditions
there with an undercover camera. When the gruesome footage was
released, it caused a major crisis for ISF, with numerous grocery chains
dropping the company as a supplier.
The
following year, the animal agriculture industry successfully lobbied
the Iowa state legislature to make what Pachaud had done a crime. The
law was one of many so-called “Ag Gag” laws in agricultural states
across the country, which make undercover investigations on factory
farms by animal rights groups unlawful (an estimated 99 percent
of animals raised for meat are factory farmed; the very few small
family farms that are left are being systematically driven out of
business by the industrialization and economic consolidation of the
industry). As Ag gag laws effectively criminalize speech, some of the
more sloppily written among them have been subject to successful
constitutional challenges; Iowa’s 2012 law was among them. In 2019, a
federal judge struck down Iowa’s 2012 law.
That
same month, a new Governor took office in Iowa. Kim Reynolds had won
her office in 2018 with the conspicuous help of Iowa Select Farms. ISF’s
co-owners, Jeff and Deborah Hansen, have donated nearly $300,000 to
Governor Reynolds. During the 2018 race, Deborah was the Governor’s
biggest individual campaign contributor. Kim Reynolds had been the guest
of honor at the Hansens’ family foundation.
Governor
Reynolds had barely been in office a month before a newly re-written Ag
Gag bill was introduced into the legislature. By summer, she had signed
it into law.
Now,
Johnson has become the first person to be charged under the 2019 Ag Gag
law for attempting to enter one ISF facility. He is facing a separate
wiretap charge for the hidden cameras in the barn where the company
carried out its ventilation shutdown. In the meantime, yet another Ag
Gag law has passed through the Iowa legislature, which increases
penalties for the crime of planting hidden cameras in animal agriculture
facilities. Governor Reynolds is expected to sign the new bill into law
any day now.
As
should surprise nobody who lived through the political aftermath of
9/11, these laws were passed under the pretext of combatting
“terrorism.” Radical animal rights and environmental activists have, in
fact, long been among the FBI’s top “domestic terrorism” targets,
as well as targets of draconian new legislation. In 2006, at the behest
of the pharmaceutical and animal agriculture industries, Congress
passed a law specifically defining animal rights activism aimed at
“damaging or interfering with the operations of an animal enterprise” —
whether or not violence was involved — as “terrorism.” Direct Action
Everywhere (DxE), the group Johnson belongs to (I used to cover DxE as a
reporter and have since become a member myself), was the subject of a major FBI investigation over the “theft” of two dying piglets from a factory farm. After he was discovered, the FBI interviewed Walker,
asking him if DxE sells drugs or guns to finance their activism, and
tried to recruit him as an informant into their activities.
This
dismal history should be an obvious cautionary tale about the hazards
of enhancing the state’s power to surveil and prosecute people for
politically motivated activity, beyond the ample criminal laws already
on the books. But in the wake of the January 6 MAGA Capitol Riot,
progressives, in particular, have gained an appetite for more.
Currently, a bill
with 196 Democratic co-sponsors (and 3 Republicans) is before Congress,
which would begin to build the legal and bureaucratic architecture for
an interagency domestic terrorism response unit within the Department of
Justice, the FBI, and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The
legislation is explicitly a response to the Capitol Riot
and is pointed particularly at “White supremacist” and “neo-Nazi”
groups — a particularly unsympathetic and uncontroversial cast of
culprits.
But
the PATRIOT Act was also purported to target only the most hateful,
murderous people in the world — Islamic terrorists — before it
metastasized into a massive surveillance state infrastructure that spied
on literally every single American with an internet connection. Are we
to expect that a domestic analogue to the PATRIOT Act will draw the line
at violent sociopathic racists? The intelligence community demonstrably
does not: a recently declassified report
lists animal rights and environmental activists, abortion activists on
both the pro-life and the pro-choice sides, anarchists, and
anti-capitalists as potential domestic terrorist threats.
If we’ve learned anything from the last few years, it’s that corporations are all too eager to co-opt the progressive rhetoric du jour, whether to sell sneakers or to protect themselves
against workplace discrimination lawsuits. And the FBI has been more
than willing to investigate activists engaged in non-violent activities as terrorists
under the 2006 Animal Enterprise Terrorism Act. A new domestic federal
law enforcement bureaucracy dedicated to surveilling and investigating
anyone the government claims to suspect is a “terrorist” would be a
bonanza to industries facing concerted activist pressure, whether animal
agriculture or fossil fuels, or a company in any industry facing a
unionization drive. What possible reason is there to believe that
corporations won’t lobby the Biden administration and future
administrations to use their new powers to ensnare activists who
campaign against them, all in the name of ridding the country of violent
political extremists and “insurrectionists”?
The
answer is that there is no reason to believe it, and every reason to
believe the hunt for “domestic terrorists” could eventually be turned
against anyone with the will and the means to effectively confront those
who hold concentrated political and corporate power — including through
strictly non-violent means. A demonstrated willingness to use violence
has never been a requisite for law enforcement agencies to brand those
they wish to malign as “terrorists”, as DxE activists know all too well. All that’s required is their willingness to use the label.
After
9/11, passage of the PATRIOT Act was enabled by the bullying of
dissidents in a climate of enforced jingoism. It was dangerous to ask
critical questions then; safety was found only in conformity. We’re in
such a moment again, but this time from within a liberal rather than a
right-wing consensus. But the outcome will be the same: the hardening of
state power, made possible through organized collective hysteria.

gruwelijk hoogtepunt komt bij de Japanse kuststad Taiji….. Daar
zoeken vissers en trainers dolfijnen uit die zullen worden verkocht
aan dolfinaria over de wereld en ieder dier dat niet wordt
geselecteerd zal op een gruwelijke manier worden vermoord, zo slaat
men met bijlen in op de arme dieren die geen kant op kunnen, het
maakt niet uit of ze oud zijn dan wel een kalf, de gruwelijke dood is
op dat moment voor ieder weerloos dier onvermijdbaar……
Ik heb
al vaker bericht over deze slachting, die overigens ook plaatsvindt
aan de andere kant van de wereld op de Faeröer Eilanden, echter ik heb steeds meer weerzin om hierover te berichten,
daar de gruwelijke foto’s me bijblijven.
Echter het kan niet anders, er moet veel meer bericht worden over
deze gruwelijke jacht, het is dan ook een grof schandaal dat de
reguliere media hier amper of niet over berichten, immers met een
grote wereldwijde verontwaardiging is het mogelijk om bijvoorbeeld een
boycot te organiseren van Japanse producten of die van de Faeröer Eilanden en van Denemarken dat deze jaarlijkse massamoord op die eilanden toestaat…….

During
the 2020/21 dolphin hunting season, VICE World News traveled to the
infamous Cove in Taiji, Japan. Their intent was to investigate
Taiji’s global dolphin trade, from a well-balanced perspective of
both the fishermen and the activists. What resulted is one of the
most important films to highlight the Taiji dolphin hunts since the
2009 Academy award-winning documentary “The Cove”.
The
team spoke with Ren Yabuki, director of Life Investigation Agency (LIA),
whom Dolphin Project collaborated with during the entire six-month
long dolphin hunting season, which spans from September 1 to March 1
of each year. Here, dolphins are hunted and driven into the Cove,
where they are selected for the global captivity industry, or
slaughtered for consumption (a dangerous practice as their meat is
heavily contaminated with mercury and other toxins). Trainers and
fishermen work alongside one another, deciding who will make the cut
for the captivity industry, and who will be killed. Various countries
across the world purchase dolphins from Taiji, filling aquariums and
marine parks with captive dolphin entertainment.
Ren shared
the horrors of what he witnessed, namely: the routine harassment,
suffering and abuse of several species of dolphins, including the
very young and the very old, the slaughter of dolphin calves and
their separation from their mothers, the violent captive selection
process, and the decimation of entire pods of dolphins.

This
season, there were a total of 46 red coves (where dolphins were
either slaughtered or taken captive) and 135 blue coves (where no
dolphins were slaughtered or taken captive) involving six species of
dolphins. We estimate 547 dolphins were slaughtered, while 140 were
taken captive. Many more may have died as a result of the drives
themselves, their numbers never recorded. As the demand for dolphin
meat has dropped, the lucrative captivity industry is what’s
fueling the slaughters. If the captivity industry were to collapse,
so likely would the dolphin meat trade.

Caitlin Johnstone heeft een artikel geschreven waarin ze stelt dat als
het bijvoorbeeld om Jemen gaat, wij de terroristen zijn. In zekere
zin haalt ze met deze stelling haar gelijk, immers onze (westerse)
regeringen ondernemen geen actie tegen de Saoedische terreurcoalitie (sterker nog men levert zelfs wapens aan de grootste dader Saoedi-Arabie

spaarzaam bericht met bijvoorbeeld weer een waarschuwing van VN baas
Guterres volgt waarin hij de wereld wijst op het vreselijke lot
van de sjiitische bevolking van Jemen, maar vervolgen gewoon weer ons
dagelijkse leven na te hebben verzucht dat het vreselijk is wat er in
Jemen gebeurt……
Vreemd
dat Caitlin niet spreekt over genocide, terwijl die intussen al bijna
6 jaar gaande is en waarbij niet 233.000 mensen zijn overleden zoals
de VN inschat (een cijfer dat Caitlin aanhoudt), maar minstens 500.000, waaronder ten minste 100.000
kinderen……
Een
paar jaar geleden liet Rutte 3 en dan m.n. zijne VVD leeghoofdige hufterigheid
Blok (minister van BuZa) weten dat er geen sprake was van
wapenleveringen waarvoor hij een vergunning had afgegeven, maar van
wapenonderdelen en die vallen volgens de schoft niet onder de
wapenboycot tegen de reli-fascistische terreurstaat
Saoedi-Arabië…… Alleen daarvoor zou Blok al vervolgd moeten
worden door het Internationaal Strafhof (ICC), maar dat strafhof is
er vooral om gekleurde oorlogsmisdadigers te vervolgen……..
Zoals gezegd, het gaat niet alleen om de westerse politici die een
genocide mogelijk maken (terwijl ze na Rwanda stelden dat dit nooit
weer zou worden toegestaan….), maar ook wij zijn verantwoordelijk
daar we niet in opstand komen tegen onze inhumane neoliberale
regeringen voor wie geld verdienen belangrijker is dan mensenlevens,
zelfs als die levens van kinderen zijn……
Wat de VS aangaat is er al helemaal geen excuus meer, deze grootste terreurentiteit op aarde, steunt de Saoedische terreurcoalitie, zowel militair als middels wapenleveranties. Zo helpt de VS als Groot-Brittannië mee aan de genocide in Jemen, door het trainen van de Saoedische militairen, de VS gaat nog verder dan GB doordat het land meehelpt aan de zeeblokkade van havens die in handen zijn van de Houthi rebellen, zodat er geen voedsel, water,medicijnen en brandstof kan worden geleverd……. Het gaat hier om rebellen die het sjiitische volk proberen te beschermen tegen het grootschalige geweld van die terreurcoalitie…… Voorts is de VS af en aan met speciale troepen op Jemenitische bodem om te vechten tegen de Houthi’s…… Tot voor een paar jaar voorzag de VS het vliegend oorlogstuig van de terreurcoalitie van brandstof tijdens de vluchten (en dat gratis!!), zodat men zo effectief mogelijk kon bombarderen, voorts regelde de VS de coördinatie van de bombardementen met haar AWACS vliegtuigen en als ik me niet vergis doet de VS dat nog steeds…….
The
Trump administration is reportedly
close
to moving the Houthi rebels in Yemen onto its official list of
designated terrorist organizations with the goal of choking them off
from money and resources. The head
of the UN’s World Food Program
along with many
other experts caution
that this designation will prolong the horrific war which has claimed
over a quarter million lives and create an impenetrable barrier of
red tape stopping humanitarian aid from getting to the Yemeni people.
The
United Nations conservatively
estimates that
some 233,000 Yemenis have been killed in the war between the Houthis
and the US-backed Saudi-led coalition, mostly from what it calls
“indirect causes”. Those indirect causes would be disease
and starvation resulting from what UN Secretary-General Antonio
Guterres calls “the worst famine the world has seen for
decades”.
When
people hear the word “famine” they usually think of mass
hunger caused by droughts or other naturally occurring phenomena, but
in reality the starvation deaths we are seeing in Yemen (a huge
percentage of which are children
under the age of five)
are caused by something that is no more natural than the starvation
deaths you’d see in a medieval siege. They are the result of the
Saudi coalition’s use of blockades and its deliberate
targeting of
farms, fishing boats, marketplaces, food storage sites, and cholera
treatment centers with
airstrikes aimed at making the Houthi-controlled parts of Yemen so
weak and miserable that they break.
In
other words, the US and its allies have been helping Saudi Arabia
deliberately kill children and other civilians on mass scale in order
to achieve a political goal. Which would of course be a perfect
example of any standard definition of terrorism.
Heartbreaking!
I never imagined that one day I will see children like this in #Yemen!
We
are the terrorists. Saudi Arabia, the US, the UK, Australia, Canada,
France and every other nation which has facilitated the horrific mass
atrocity in Yemen–this tight globe-spanning power alliance is a
terrorist organization the likes of which the world has never seen
before. The idea of the unfathomably savage and bloodthirsty US
empire designating the Houthis as a terrorist organization is the
least funny joke that has ever been told.
We
are the terrorists. I say “we” instead of our governments
because if we are honest with ourselves, we as a civilian population
are complicit in this slaughter. The horrors in Yemen are without
question the worst thing that is happening in the world right now,
yet they comprise barely a blip in our social consciousness. The
overwhelming majority of us have seen the pictures and videos of
starving Yemeni children, thought something along the lines of “Oh
a famine, that’s so sad” and gone back to thinking about sports
or whatever other insipid nonsense occupies most of our attention.
We
are the terrorists. Yes it is true that we have been propagandized
into our complicity with this terrorism and if the news media were
doing its purported job Yemen would be front and center in our
attention, but we are still complicit. We are still participating in
it, still living in a society that is woven of the fabric of
slaughter and brutality without rising up and using the power of our
numbers to force a change. Just because you are unaware that you
sleep on a bed of butchered children doesn’t mean you’re not lying in
it.

We
are the terrorists. But we don’t need to be.
We
can begin waking up together. Waking up our friends and neighbors,
spreading consciousness of what’s going on, raising awareness of the
horrors our governments are perpetrating in Yemen and in other
nations in the name of imperialist domination, helping each other see
through the veils of propaganda to how much life and how many
resources are being spent on inflicting unspeakable acts of terror
upon our world instead of benefiting humanity.
The
US government could force an end to the horrors in Yemen almost
immediately if it really wanted to. If maintaining unipolar hegemony
were suddenly advanced by giving the Houthis victory in Yemen instead
of fighting to ensure Washington-aligned rule, the Saudis would
withdraw and the war would be over within days. We could make this
happen if we could spread enough awareness of the reality of what’s
happening in Yemen.

of ignorance, propaganda distortion and partisan…
Break
the silence on Yemen. Pressure Biden to fulfil
his campaign pledge
to end the war which was initiated under the Obama-Biden
administration. Oppose US imperialism. Weaken public trust in the
mass media which refuse to give us a clear picture of what’s going on

eerder deze week, Lai is een media eigenaar, dus de reguliere
westerse media schreeuwden moord en brand over de aantasting van de
vrijheid van meningsuiting……….. Waarbij men de nieuwe Chinese
veiligheidswet hekelt die het mogelijk maakt om met gewelddadige protesten
hard aan te pakken en organisatoren op te pakken en in China (bedoeld
wordt buiten Hongkong) te berechten……
Lai is overigens al weer vrijgelaten, wat men in de VS en Groot-Brittannië uiteraard betreurt, immers nu kan men niet meer kankeren over het gebrek aan vrijheid van meningsuiting in Hongkong…….. Vergeet daarnaast niet dat Lai heeft deelgenomen aan een aantal van de uiterst gewelddadige protesten en het geweld in zijn kranten verdoezelde, of zelfs heeft gelogen dat extreem geweld niet door demonstranten werd gebruikt, maar werd uitgeoefend door de politie van Hongkong…..
Al een
paar jaar waren er met grote regelmaat protesten in Hongkong tegen de
Chinese overheid in Peking (of Bejing, wat je wilt), protesten die
vooral de laatste anderhalf jaar steeds gewelddadiger werden en
waarbij tegenstanders van die protesten o.a. in brand werden
gestoken, dan wel op andere manier zo mishandeld dat ze ofwel
overleden dan wel zwaar gewond in het ziekenhuis belandden……. Dit nog buiten
de enorme vernielingen die werden aangericht, niet alleen in en tegen
overheidsgebouwen, maar zelfs in winkels van mensen die tegen de
protesten waren…… Voor deze zaken is geen ander woord te bedenken dan (heftige) terreur, zaken die men verzweeg in de westerse media en politiek…..
Het is
duidelijk dat de VS zoals op zoveel andere plekken over de wereld
deze ‘pro democratische protesten’ organiseerde en financierde, uiteraard
met hulp van Groot-Brittannië, de voormalige kolonisator die deze
‘kolonie’ allesbehalve democratisch bestuurde (waar hetzelfde GB nu
plotsklaps de grote verdediger is van de democratie in
Hongkong…..)
Ciunningham merkt volkomen terecht op, dat wanneer dergelijke zwaar gewelddadige
protesten (zoals gezegd: gecombineerd met heftige terreur) zouden plaatsvinden in de VS of GB, men de leiders van deze protesten
al lang en breed achter de tralies had gezet………
Begreep
al lang niet waarom men blindelings de leugens geloofde van de
westerse media, terwijl toch ook hier de berichten op de sociale media doorsijpelden dat
de demonstranten in Hongkong bijzonder gewelddadig waren….. Je behoefde bepaald
geen Einstein te zijn om te voorspellen dat China uiteindelijk zou
ingrijpen, juist vanwege dat geweld!! (nogmaals: geweld voor een
groot deel tegen medeburgers die het niet met de demonstranten eens
waren*)
Dat ingrijpen door de Chinese overheid was dan ook precies de bedoeling van de CIA en MI6 die de protesten in Hongkong hebben opgejut, immers China moet en zal de nieuwe grote vijand zijn van het westen en met het ingrijpen van de Chinese overheid in Hongkong kon men China nog meer demoniseren en haat zaaien tegen dat land……
Met het voorgaande kon men meteen de economie van China treffen door diverse zaken uit China botweg te verbieden en dat gebaseerd op leugens, neem het G5 netwerk van Huawei…… De reguliere westerse (massa-) media deden en doen maar al te graag braaf mee aan dit spel en hielden de ‘demonstranten’ in Hongkong de handen boven de uiterst gewelddadige kop, door zo min mogelijk of helemaal niets te melden van wat er echt gebeurde tijdens de protesten, het ongebreidelde geweld van demonstranten ook tegen medeburgers…..

Kong: ‘Freedom’… to Subvert

“Information
Clearing House”
– The arrest of Hong Kong media mogul Jimmy Lai has sent Western news
outlets into a tizzy. We are told that “free speech” is under
attack by the Chinese authorities who are supposedly rolling back
democracy on the semiautonomous island city.
Lai was arrested in
the offices of his media company and led away in handcuffs by
police officers. He is charged with “colluding with foreign
powers” in undermining Beijing’s sovereign authority.
Western media are claiming that his arrest is an example of the
alleged abuse of a new security law imposed on Hong Kong by the
Beijing central government. That law proscribes activities deemed to
be seditious or subversive.
For well over a year
now, Hong Kong has been in upheaval from protests against the central
government in Beijing. Those protests have involved massive violence
and destruction of public property, including the torching to
death of innocent bystanders.
Law and order in Hong
Kong is the sovereign responsibility of Beijing ever since Britain
handed back its former colony to China in 1997.
The street protests
under the guise of “pro-democracy” movement are but a
Trojan Horse for Britain and the United States to interfere in
China’s internal affairs and destabilize Beijing’s sovereignty.
Washington and London
have stepped up sanctions and reprimands against the Chinese
government in line with boosting the protests. The leaders of the
Hong Kong demonstrations have been hosted by American and British
officials. Some of them even live in exile in London. There can be no
clearer evidence that the United States and Britain are exploiting
Hong Kong as an entry point for weakening China, just as they
did in past centuries as imperial powers during the Opium Wars.
The geopolitical
tensions with China have become ever-sharper over the self-inflicted
disastrous mismanagement of the coronavirus pandemic in the US and
Britain. Those two countries are the world “leaders” in
terms of death toll from the disease. But there is also the bigger
background picture of Washington becoming increasingly hostile
towards Beijing (and Moscow) owing to what it calls “great
power competition”. In this context, Britain is serving as
Washington’s snarly lapdog for snapping at the heels of China (and
Russia).
So, how about Jimmy
Lai? The 71-year-old media magnate was born on the Chinese mainland.
His once wealthy family is reputed to
have lost their privileges when communist rule was established in
1949. Lai sounds like a perfect cipher for Western ambitions of
regime change in Beijing.
Western media, not
surprisingly, have lionized him
as a “leading pro-democracy advocate”.
One of his
newspapers, Apple Daily, is described by
Associated Press as a “feisty pro-democracy tabloid that often
condemns China’s Communist Party government.”
That’s quite
astounding understatement. Lai has personally taken part in unlawful
demonstrations and his media outlets have acted brazenly as agents of
provocation, or sedition.
Earlier this year,
Apple Daily ran a front page appeal by its owner to US President
Donald Trump, beseeching the
American leader to intervene in Hong Kong to “save us” from
the Chinese government.
Last year just as
protests were erupting in Hong Kong, Lai was feted in
Washington by Vice President Mike Pence and Secretary of State Mike
Pompeo. The agenda of their discussions included China’s security
affairs.
Now let’s
run this scenario again with a slight change of actors and location.
Imagine if a media mogul in Seattle was publishing newspaper
headlines every day condemning the federal government in Washington
and openly calling for repudiation of US sovereignty. Imagine if this
American media mogul flew to Beijing and was photographed holding
private discussions with top government officials about law and order
affairs.
There is more than a
fair chance, to say the least, that said media mogul would be
arrested by US federal officers and pilloried for being a traitor.
The double standards
and arrogance of the US and British media are staggering in
their coverage and commentary regarding Hong Kong. Hong Kong was
ruled from London as a colony for nearly 150 years without even a
token of democracy. Yet all of a sudden, we are led to believe,
Britain has discovered concern for “democracy” in Hong
Kong, while the Americans apparently cherish “freedom” in
the Chinese territory – freedom, that is, to subvert the
government in Beijing.

en ander is te vergelijken met de Hongaarse opstand van 1956, niemand
die noig spreekt over het enorme geweld van de de ‘opstandelingen’
tegen voor een groot deel medeburgers, veel mensen werden door de

opstandelingen waren dan ook voor het grootste deel de fascisten die

de laatste maanden heeft Trump oliemaatschappijen en andere bedrijven
die het milieu ernstig vervuilen al toestemming gegeven zich niet
langer aan milieuregels te houden, dit vanwege de Coronacrisis…..
Het
Care2 team heeft een petitie ‘gelanceerd’, waarmee de Trump
administratie wordt gevraagd om NEPA (de National Environmental
Protection Act), te herstellen zodat de burgers en het milieu worden
beschermd tegen zware milieuvervuiling.
Uiteraard
kunnen wij de petitie niet tekenen, echter wij kunnen wel van Den
Haag en Brussel eisen dat er niet langer fossiele brandstoffen van VS
bedrijven worden afgenomen, immers vooral deze oliemaatschappijen
zouden zelf ook hun verantwoordelijkheid moeten nemen en hebben rekening te houden met de mens en ons aller thuis, de aarde….. Kunnen we
meteen eisen dat steenkool niet langer wordt geïmporteerd uit
Australië en de VS, die steenkool op de wereldmarkt dumpen tegen
afbraakprijzen, de reden waarom Balkenende 4 (CDA en PvdA ) het
besluit namen 4 nieuwe kolencentrales toe te staan en waarom Rutte 2
en 3 miljarden hebben gestoken in het opkopen van bossen in de VS en
Scandinavië, om deze als ‘biomassa’ te verbranden in deze centrales,
terwijl houtverbranding nog een fractie slechter is dan
steenkoolverbranding…. (en dan durven de reguliere media hier Rutte 3 het groenste kabinet ooit te noemen, een staaltje smerige ‘greenwashing’ waar je stijl van achterover slaat……)
Tijd
voor een EU petitie!!
In de
tekst van de Care2 petitie valt o.a. te lezen dat deze nodig is om het
klimaatkantelpunt te voorkomen, echter er zijn al wetenschappers die
stellen dat we dit kantelpunt al zijn gepasseerd en gezien de snelle
klimaatopwarming aan de polen, hebben deze wetenschappers het gelijk
aan hun kant. Dit wil niet zeggen dat we niets moeten doen, we moeten
juist alles op alles stellen om de klimaatverandering nog enigszins
af te remmen, dat kan miljoenen mensen het leven sparen en kan
gebieden sparen voor bewoning!!
Over onbewoonbare gebieden en steden gesproken: afgelopen week in Bagdad temperaturen
tot boven de 50 graden Celsius, ofwel zonder airco is deze stad
eigenlijk niet langer bewoonbaar, waar de huidige bewoners door de
schuld van het westen nog maar een paar uur per dag de beschikking hebben
over elektriciteit, waardoor ook de airco amper verlichting kan brengen……. (dit nog naast het feit dat het enorme gebruik van airco’s de klimaatverandering verder aanjaagt……)
Mocht je familie, vrienden of kennissen hebben in de VS, speel hen dan de petitie door en vraag hen te tekenen.

Trump
just gutted one of the most important environmental protection and
anti-climate change laws to pad the pockets of fossil fuel execs
Since 1970, the National
Environmental Protection Act (NEPA) has protected people and the
planet by making sure construction companies can’t just willy-nilly
build factories, pipeliness, major roadways, or drilling sites near
where people live. Naturally, that infuriated Donald Trump. So he
took a massive wrecking ball to the law. Under his new, stripped-down
version, corporations will no
longer need to consider a project’s contribution to climate change. And
people who live near proposed sites will have virtually zero chance
for input.
This is an egregious
attempt to take away the rights of the people and expand the already
massive power and wealth of the fossil fuel and construction
industries, and at a
particularly horrible time. Climate change is already a global
emergency, with scientists agreeing that if we have not taken enough
steps by 2030 to curb the climb of the world’s temperatures, we will
be past the point of no return. NEPA was already insufficient for the
task at hand, and now we don’t even have its meager protections. Sign
the petition and demand that the Trump Administration restore NEPA to
the way it was meant to be, before it’s too late for the planet and
our people!

heeft de EU op 29 juni jl. besloten om Venezuela extra sancties op te
leggen, het gaat om sancties tegen 11 Venezolaanse
hoogwaardigheidsbekleders, dit vanwege hun rol in daden en
beslissingen die de democratie en de wetgeving in Venezuela
ondermijnen…… ha! ha! ha! ha! Als er nu naast de VS één
organisatie is met een hele berg boter op de kop is het de EU wel,
dat als een slaafse hond achter de VS aansjokt en alles wat de VS met
haar smerige buitenlandpolitiek flikt, overneemt als was het een
gebod van god zelf…… De VS voert al jaren een smerige economische
oorlog tegen Venezuela, puur en alleen daar het land een uiterst
succesvol socialistisch beleid voert, de alfabetisering uitstekend
heeft aangepakt, de armen uit hun ellende heeft getild en hen zelfs
goede behuizing heeft gegeven, dit nog naast uitstekende gratis
medische zorg voor deze enorm grote groep…….
Daarbij heeft Venezuela
al onder Chavez een groot aantal VS bedrijven genationaliseerd…..
Dit alles is meer dan
genoeg om de VS flink kwaad te krijgen en daarom voert de VS al meer
dan 20 jaar deze geheime economische oorlog, die onder Trump werden
omgezet in unilaterale sancties, zoals gezegd vrijwel onmiddellijk
gesteund door Canada en de EU, sancties die het land aan de rand van
de afgrond hebben gebracht en waarbij voedsel, medicijnen en medische
apparatuur werden gesanctioneerd, hoewel de VS dat ontkent zijn er
meer dan voldoende bewijzen voor (daarnaast heeft de VS zelfs beslag gelegd op
4 miljoen dollar aan tegoeden van het Venezolaanse volk voor de
aankoop van medicijnen en medische apparatuur….) Nu was het onder
Obama al zo dat VS supermarktketens vriendelijk maar dringend werd
verzocht hun winkels in Venezuela niet langer te bevoorraden…….
De sancties hebben nu al
geleid tot de dood van 50.000 Venezolanen, ofwel daarvoor zijn ook wij
verantwoordelijk….. De sancties zijn dan ook niets anders dan een enorme misdaad tegen de menselijkheid, waarvoor het Internationaal Strafhof (ICC) een strafrechtelijk onderzoek zou moeten instellen!!
De huidige president van
Venezuela is met grote meerderheid door het Venezolaanse volk gekozen
en dat waren democratische verkiezingen, goedgekeurd door internationale waarnemers, echter de EU onder
aanvoering van de VS erkennen de door de VS geparachuteerde fascist
Juan Guaidó als president (ofwel de zoveelste door de VS georganiseerde coup….)…. Volgens de VS, Canada en de EU was Guaidó de oppositieleider van
Venezuela, echter tot januari 2019 was deze figuur onbekend bij het
grootste deel van het Venezolaanse volk, bovendien was hij
allesbehalve de voorzitter van de grootste Venezolaanse
oppositiepartij……
Wie ondermijnt er nu
werkelijk de democratie in Venezuela??!!!
Bedacht me bij het
schrijven ook nog eens, dat Nederland, onderdeel van de EU, met deze
sancties ook nog eens het volk op de Antilliaanse eilanden Curaçao,
Aruba en Sint Maarten heeft getroffen en dan durft schoftenregering Rutte 3, in deze zaak o.l.v. CDA kwaadaardigheid Knops en gesteund
door VVD premier en hufter Rutte, deze eilanden te chanteren en te
eisen dat ze hervormingen doorvoeren voordat Nederland Coronahulp zal
geven….. Waar haalt het geteisem het gore lef vandaan??? Volgens Knops is de werkloosheid veel te groot en moet er daarom worden hervormd….. ha!
ha! ha! ha! Ja sukkel door de Coronacrisis ligt de toeristenindustrie plat
en door de smerige sancties tegen Venezuela is de raffinaderij op
Curaçao al een paar jaar buiten werking, ‘met dank’ aan Nederland en het ondemocratische instituut EU…….

Council of the European Union
The Council today
added 11 leading Venezuelan officials to the list of those subject to
restrictive measures, because of their role in acts and decisions undermining
democracy and the rule of law
in Venezuela.
The individuals added to the list are responsible
notably for acting against the democratic functioning of the National
Assembly, including by stripping the parliamentary immunity of
several members of its members, not least its president, Juan Guaidó.
Actions motivating the decision for listing also include initiating
politically motivated prosecutions and creating obstacles to a
political and democratic solution to the crisis in Venezuela, as well
as serious violations of human rights and restrictions of fundamental
freedoms, such as freedom of press and speech.
Today’s decision
brings to 36
the total
number of individuals under sanctions,
which include a travel ban and an asset freeze. These measures target
individuals and do not affect the population in general. The EU will
continue working to foster a peaceful democratic solution in
Venezuela, through inclusive and credible legislative elections.
The Council decision
follows up on four declarations issued by the High Representative on
behalf of the EU on 21 December 2019, 9 January, 4 June and 16 June
2020.
Restrictive measures
by the EU on Venezuela were introduced in November 2017. They include
an embargo on arms and on equipment for internal repression as well
as a travel ban and an asset freeze on listed individuals. They are
flexible and reversible and designed not to harm the Venezuelan
population.

week donderdag werd de Natanz kerncentrale in Iran gebombardeerd,
zoals gewoonlijk wil Israël niet reageren op dit bericht, wat in de
praktijk betekent dat Israël het wel degelijk heeft gedaan…..
Israël
wil blijkbaar graag dat het Midden-Oosten in haar geheel ontploft,
zijn ze nu helemaal gek geworden??!!! Bovendien is het uiteraard levensgevaarlijk om een werkende kerncentrale te bombarderen, dit is dan ook zonder meer een ernstige oorlogsmisdaad!!
Onbegrijpelijk dat de reguliere westerse media geen aandacht aan deze zeer ernstige zaak hebben geschonken…..

staan: hoe lang staat de wereld nog toe dat deze terreurstaat door

hebben op de uiterst gewelddadige fascistische apartheidsstaat Israël

dat handelde als Israël was al lang aangeklaagd bij het Internationaal Strafhof(ICC*) en was al lang en breed doelwit geweest van een fikse boycot…… Vandaar ook dat de
wereld al decennialang overtijd is met het voor het gerecht slepen
van Israël en als dat niet lukt bijvoorbeeld door tegenwerking van terreurstaat VS, dit land volledig te boycotten, zoals eerder de apartheidsstaat Zuid-Afrika werd geboycot en dat met groot succes!!!
Het is 2020 en het moet eindelijk afgelopen zijn met de verdrukking van het Palestijnse volk en met de illegale bombardementen die Israël uitvoert waar het maar uitkomt!! The
explosion at the Natanz nuclear facility was the third incident of
its kind in Iran recently.
There was also an explosion near the
Iranian Parchin military site in northeast Tehran and a fire at a
Tehran medical clinic that killed 19 people. A Middle Eastern
intelligence official told the New York Times that Israel was behind
the Natanz attack — Israel has not denied it — and it is possible
that Israel was behind the two other recent explosions as well. Iran
says that they have and will soon release the details of what
happened at Natanz, but one thing already seems to be clear: despite
the COVID-19 pandemic raging throughout the world, Israel seems
hell-bent on war.
Trump
(and other U.S. presidents before him) have sent Israel the message
that if they go to war — even a war that they outright provoke —
the massive U.S. war machine will back them. “If we think for a
minute that the Trump administration isn’t ready and willing to go
to war, think again,” Senator Udall stated upon introducing his
amendment. On June 30, 2020, Brian Hook, the Trump administration’s
Special Representative for Iran, affirmed that “The military option
is always on the table.” “With this kind of continuing
saber-rattling,” Udall said,
“We must send a clear message to the
president and his administration that initiating war against Iran is
beyond the powers this president or any president holds.”
The
Trump administration doesn’t actually have the sole power to go to
war. In 1973 Congress passed The War Powers Act to limit the
Executive branch’s power to drag the U.S. into an armed conflict.
The War Powers Act states that a president can only commit the U.S.
military to action abroad through a congressional declaration of war
or “a national emergency created by attack upon the United
States, its territories or possessions, or its armed forces.”
