Israëlische militairen vermoorden 11 jarige jongen en 20 Palestijnse winkels met de grond gelijk gemaakt

Alsof alles weer tot rust is gekeerd in het gestolen land Israël, nadat de reguliere westerse media aandacht hadden voor het verdrukte Palestijnse volk maar wel na pogroms van zionistische ‘kolonisten’ op de West Bank en in Oost-Jeruzalem, plus huisuitzettingen van Palestijnse families in datzelfde Oost-Jeruzalem…… Als reactie daarop bestookten Palestijnen vanuit openluchtgevangenis Gazastrook Israël met veredelde vuurpijlen (altijd het punt waarop westerse media wakker worden) en waar Israël als reactie weer aan het bombarderen en daarmee aan het moorden sloeg in getto Gazastrook…. Echter dit keer had men in de westerse media zowaar aandacht voor de huisuitzettingen, pogroms en rellen in Oost-Jeruzalem, pogroms en rellen door fanatieke zionisten (lees: fascisten) waarbij huizen van Palestijnse families doelwit waren van aanvallen, niet alleen dat de Al-Aqsamoskee werd door Israëlische militairen aangevallen en men heeft daar zelfs vernielingen aangericht……… (benieuwd wat de dictatoriale vrienden van Israël in Saoedi-Arabië en de Verenigde Arabische Emiraten daarvan vinden……)

De rust is echter allesbehalve weergekeerd: de Israëlische ‘rechters’ blijven bevelen tot huisuitzettingen afstempelen en nog steeds worden Palestijnen hun huis uitgezet, voorts worden huizen en winkels van Palestijnen gebulldozerd……. Zoals gistermorgen, toen Israël maar liefst 20 winkels heeft gebulldozerd, op de vrijgekomen grond, bouwt Israël huizen voor Joodse kolonisten, zodat dit stadsdeel straks in meerderheid Joods is….. Ofwel hier is overduidelijk sprake van etnische zuivering, iets waarvan de westerse politici en media, als het elders gebeurt, geheel hypocriet op de kop gaan staan, echter in dit geval doet men er het zwijgen toe en laat men de woorden etnische zuivering achterwege…….

Erger nog is het verhaal van een (Palestijnse) vader die met zijn kinderen naar huis reed en daar hij verderop de weg versperd zag door een groep Israëlische militairen, reed hij achteruit, daarop renden deze Israëlische ~~militairen~~ uh terroristen zijn kant op en begonnen te schieten op de auto, de 11 jarige zoon Mohammed al-Alami van de man overleed een paar uur later in het ziekenhuis……. Het Israëlische leger, een terreurorganisatie vanjewelste had nog het gore lef om met een excuus te komen, zij zochten een paar mensen die zich verdacht hadden gedragen op een begraafplaats…… De mensen die de leden van de terreurorganisatie zochten hadden een baby begraven: ‘uiterst verdacht’ en ‘uiteraard reden om op elke auto in de buurt te schieten…….’ Dezelfde militairen hebben het graf van de baby opengemaakt en het lichaam op de grond gegooid…….

Ronduit fascistische terreur in de naam van apartheidsstaat Israël, walgelijk!! (met de smerige stank van genocide……)

De EU sprak over de moord op de 11 jarige Mohammed al-Alami* en herhaalde dat Palestijnse kinderen worden beschermd onder International Humanitarian Law >> IHL (Internationaal Humanitair Recht) en dat men betreurt wat lijkt op excessief en dodelijk geweld…… Dat ‘lijkt’ er niet op: dat is het!!!! Hoe durft men dit nog uit de strot te krijgen….. De EU sanctioneert Venezuela op basis van (aangetoonde) smerige leugens, maar voor wat een ieder duidelijk kan zijn, zware en bloedige terreur door de fascistische apartheidsstaat Israël tegen het zo goed als weerloze verdrukte Palestijnse volk, maakt de EU alleen een paar hypocriete woorden vuil….. Hoeveel Palestijnse kinderen, vrouwen, medisch hulpverleners, invaliden, ouderen en mannen moet Israël nog vermoorden en hoeveel EU projecten moet Israël nog vernielen in de Palestijnse gebieden, voordat de EU deze terreurstaat eindelijk sancties oplegt?!!

Video shows Israeli shooting that killed 11-year-old boy

Security camera footage released on Tuesday shows that Israeli
occupation forces shot at the car of a Palestinian family with no
conceivable justification on 28 July, killing 11-year-old Muhammad Abu Sara.

The boy was in the car with his father Muayyad Abu Sara, who was
driving, and two younger siblings. They had been out shopping and were
returning to their home in the occupied West Bank town of Beit Ummar
near Hebron.

An eyewitness told the Hebrew-language Israeli publication Local Call the day after the shooting that Abu Sara had been driving home from the town center.

As his car approached the small road leading to his house, there was a group of soldiers in the street.

According to the eyewitness, the car stopped and began to reverse.
The soldiers began chasing the car and firing at it for no reason.

When the shooting was over, Abu Sara told media, he found Muhammad slumped unconscious on the lap of his younger sister.

Muhammad’s father drove to the Red Crescent in Beit Ummar. The child
was then taken to a hospital in Hebron with a gunshot wound to the
chest. Doctors operated, but the boy died in the intensive care unit a
few hours later, according to Defense for Children International Palestine.

No justification

The video clips, released by the Israeli human rights group B’Tselem,
corroborate eyewitness accounts. You can watch them at the top of this
article.

One shows a white vehicle approaching the beginning of the narrow
street. The car stops well short of a line of half a dozen soldiers
standing in the street, and begins to reverse.

The car appears to be dozens of meters away from the soldiers, posing no conceivable threat to them or anyone else.

As it reverses, the soldiers run up the street after the vehicle. The
second clip filmed from a different angle does not show the scene
clearly as the view is obscured by trees, but it captures the sounds.

There is an initial burst of gunfire, followed by a pause of a few
seconds, and then a second volley. The Electronic Intifada counted at
least a dozen shots. Local Call put the number at 14.

“Mind boggling” excuse

Immediately after the shooting, the Israeli army concocted a story
about how the soldiers had earlier seen Palestinians engaged in
suspicious activity in the town’s nearby graveyard, and believed the Abu
Sara family car was carrying the people they had seen in the graveyard.

In fact, the people in the graveyard had been burying an infant,
Leen, in the cemetery’s children’s section. According to Beit Ummar’s
mayor and the father of the infant, Ali Anwar Zaaqiq, occupation
soldiers had opened the grave, taken the body of his daughter out of her
shroud and cast her on the ground.

They had been doing absolutely nothing to warrant the suspicions and
horrific violence of invading occupation soldiers, and neither had the
Abu Sara family.

I’m not claiming the videos are proof rather the organization @btselem claims the videos prove there was no justification for opening fire as there is no indication that any threat was posed to the soldiers, who are seen running towards the car.

Commenting on the videos it released, B’Tselem affirmed that there was “no justification” for the shooting.

“The explanation offered by the military that the soldiers fired at
the car after suspecting the passengers had buried a dead baby is mind
boggling,” B’Tselem added. “Suspected of what exactly, Palestinians are
not supposed to bury their dead?”

Impunity and complicity

Muhammad Abu Sara was the 11th child to be killed by Israeli
occupation forces in the West Bank this year, according to Defense for
Children International Palestine (DCIP)

”Israeli forces routinely unlawfully kill Palestinian children with
impunity, resorting to intentional lethal force in situations where
children pose no threat,” Ayed Abu Eqtaish, the group’s accountability
program director, said.

“Systemic impunity enables Israeli forces to continue killing Palestinian children with no limits.”

A glaring example of this impunity came from the European Union’s office
in Ramallah, which noted in a 29 July tweet that Muhammad Abu Sara was
“killed by ISF gunfire.”

The term “ISF” – which stands for “Israeli security forces” – is a
total misnomer and euphemism for occupation forces who provide anything
but “security.”

Their job, rather, is to terrorize and repress Palestinians while
Israel’s systematic settler-colonization of the West Bank proceeds
uninterrupted by occasional bleats of “concern” from UN or EU officials.

“We recall that children enjoy special protection under
[International Humanitarian Law] and deeply regret what appears to be
excessive use of lethal force,” the EU stated.

It added that there was “Need for swift, transparent and thorough
investigations on the circumstances” of Muhammad Abu Sara’s killing, as
well as the wanton slaying by Israeli forces last week of Shadi Omar Lutfi Salim, the water engineer in the village of Beita, near Nablus.

The European Union knows very well that Israel’s self-investigations are a whitewash and Palestinians have no recourse to seek justice.

It is because of unconditional military, trade and political support
from the EU and its member states that Israel knows it can kill

Occupied Jerusalem (QNN)- Israeli occupation forces earlier on
Wednesday demolished Palestinian stores near Hizma checkpoint north-east

Using the pretext of illegal building, ‘Israel’ demolishes houses and
structures on a regular basis to restrict Palestinian expansion in
occupied Jerusalem.

At the same time, the municipality and the occupation government
built tens of thousands of housing units in illegal settlements in
occupied East Jerusalem for Jews with a goal to offset the demographic
balance in favour of the Israeli settlers in the occupied city.

‘Israel’ has been moving its citizens into occupied Jerusalem since
the 1980s. This has resulted in numerous human rights violations,
including the forced displacement of Palestinian residents.

Hundreds of Palestinian families are also being threatened with
forced displacement and house demolitions from their homes by illegal
settler groups, fully supported by the Israeli government.

There are nearly 700,000 Israeli settlers living in 256 illegal
settlements and outposts scattered across the occupied West Bank,
including East Jerusalem. Israeli settlements are illegal under
international law.

The Israeli court had previously rejected many appeals filed by the
residents of Jerusalem, and allowed “Ateret Cohanim” to continue its
procedures relevant to the immediate expelling of the Palestinian
families.

Ateret Cohanim, a settler organization, has been seeking, with the
support of Israeli occupation authorities, to forcibly evict some
Palestinian families in Silwan, claiming the land is rightfully owned by
a Jewish trust active in the area more than 100 years ago.

Defence
for Children International Palestine (DCIP) heeft bekend gemaakt dat
sinds het begin van 2018 52 Palestijnse kinderen zijn vermoord door
het Israëlische leger……. Van deze kinderen werden er 46 vermoord
in de Gazastrook en 6 op de West Bank…….

Opvallend
(hoewel?) is het feit dat de kinderen met kogels werden geraakt in
het bovenlichaam, nek/hals of hoofd, ofwel deze kinderen werden
beschoten met de opzet ze te doden……. Het interesseert de
psychopathische moordenaars al lang niet meer dat ze met opzet
kinderen vermoorden, immers ze worden toch niet vervolgd…….

Sinds
het jaar 2000 is het totaal aantal door het Israelische leger vermoordde Palestijnse kinderen
2.070, aldus DCIP……. Elk jaar staan er tussen de 500 en 700 kinderen terecht voor militaire rechtbanken, waar het ontbreekt aan elke juridische basis….. Maar ja wat wil je? Militaire rechtbanken…….. (al is het in het ‘gewone recht’ niet veel beter als het gaat om Palestijnen die terecht staan, of Palestijnse mensen die hun recht willen halen…)

Hoe
is het mogelijk dat men Israël niet aanpakt voor haar grootschalige
massamoorden?? Dit is een nogal domme vraag, immers dit land wordt
nog steeds gesteund door westerse regeringen, waar de VS ‘uiteraard’
de grootste geldschieter is…… Terwijl de opvolgende presidenten
van het gestolen land VS op tilt springen als er ergens kinderen worden
vermoord, althans als dit gebeurt onder verantwoording van landen die de VS niet
welgevallig zijn…*

Het
Internationaal Strafhof schijnt nu bezig te zijn met strafrechtelijk
onderzoek naar oorlogsmisdaden en de ronduit vreselijke misdaden tegen de menselijkheid die Israël keer op keer pleegt, laten we hopen dat dit ergens toe
leidt…… Echter het is wel duidelijk dat zelfs na een veroordeling
van Israël er niets zal gebeuren, dit vanwege de onvoorwaardelijke
steun van de VS en de stilzwijgende steun van andere westerse landen

Israeli
Army Killed 52 Palestinian Children Since Beginning of 2018

(MEMO) — According
to Defence for Children International Palestine (DCIP), since the
beginning of the year, the Israeli Occupation Forces have killed 52
children in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, 46 of whom in the Gaza
Strip.

The
international movement said in a statement on Monday that among the
children the occupation forces have killed, 18 were injured in the
head, nine in the chest, seven in the abdomen, and five in the neck.

The
movement added that the rest of the injuries were in different areas
of the body (because of shrapnel), “which indicates that the
Israeli soldiers are intentionally shooting at the upper areas of the
victims’ bodies in order to kill them.”

It
stressed that the Israeli Occupation Forces are still using excessive
force and live bullets against Palestinian children by intentionally
targeting them.

The
international movement considered that the reason for the use of
excessive force was the widespread culture of impunity among the
Israeli occupation soldiers and their prior knowledge that they would
not be held accountable for their actions whatever the results.

DCIP
also pointed out that, according to the Israeli Occupation Forces
regulations, live ammunition must be only used in circumstances that
pose a direct mortal threat to the soldier, and indicated that there
is so far no evidence that suggests that children who have been shot
dead since the beginning of 2018 posed such a threat at the time when
they were shot.

It
is worth noting that Tuesday, 20 November, is the Universal
Children’s Day, when the Declaration on the Rights of the Child was
adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on 20 November 1959.

On
the same day in 1989, the General Assembly adopted the Convention on
the Rights of the Child. Since 1990, the Universal Children’s Day
marks the commemoration of the adoption of the United Nations General
Assembly of the Declaration and the Convention on the Rights of the
Child.

Since
2000, the Israeli Occupation Forces, security guards and settlers
have killed more than 2,070 Palestinian children, according to DCI
documentations.

Israel
is still the only country in the world to systematically prosecute
between 500 and 700 Palestinian children before military courts each
year, in a way that lacks basic rights to a fair trial.

Terwijl Israël weer het ene bloedbad na
het andere aanricht in de Gazastrook, zit Ahed al-Tamimi nog steeds
vast voor het slaan van een Israëlische militair, alsof die ook maar
één moment in levensgevaar is geweest door dat slaan……

Het slaan door Ahed was het gevolg van het door Israëlische militairen in het gezicht schieten van haar 15 jarige neef met een rubber omvatte kogel (de jongen is
zwaar verminkt door deze laffe schoftenstreek…..)

Intussen is al een paar keer melding
gemaakt van intimidatie van Ahed door mannelijke ondervragers
(waarbij geen familie of advocaat aanwezig was, dit is tegen de
regels en kinderrechten…….)

Hoe is het mogelijk dat de wereld
blijft toekijken en niets onderneemt tegen de fascistische
apartheidsstaat Israel, terwijl men bij elke leugen over Assad of
Rusland ‘op de achterste poten gaat staan…’

Lees het volgende verslag over de
ondervragingen van Ahed, een totaal overbodige ondervraging
overigens, immers Ahed ontkent niet een militair te hebben geslagen,
haar moeder heeft dit zelfs gefilmd en op het internet geplaatst……
Men wil zogenaamd achter de identiteit komen van de medestanders op
foto en filmmateriaal, alsof deze mensen al niet vaak genoeg zijn
lastig gevallen en gefotografeerd door het psychopathische Israëlische
leger……. (het is al een paar jaar lang wekelijks ellende in de plaats, Nabi Saleh waar Ahed en haar familie wonen)

Ahed werd onder meer slaap onthouden, geïntimideerd door schreeuwen en zelfs seksueel geïntimideerd, zaken die een beschaafd land niet eens zou gebruiken tegen volwassen verdachten, laat staan tegen kinderen……

De moeder heeft voor het plaatsen van
de video op het internet 8 maanden cel gekregen…….

Nogmaals: waar blijft de internationale
gemeenschap met haar verontwaardiging en roep om een boycot van
Israel??

The
family of Ahed Tamimi, the Palestinian teenager who garnered
international attention after being detained and sentenced to eight
months in prison for slapping an Israeli soldier, released on Monday
footage of the 17-year-old girl being interrogated by Israeli
officers in the days following the arrest.

Because
she is a minor, Israeli authorities are required to hand over
excerpts of footage of interrogations to Tamimi’s lawyer upon
request. Her family later decided to make public excerpts of the
video they had been provided.

Tamimi’s
lawyer, Gaby Lasky, filed
a complaint with
the Israeli general attorney last Monday in light of the footage
showing an interrogator telling the teen she has “eyes like an
angel”.

Lasky
has accused the interrogators of sexual harassment amounting to a
“gross violation of the law”, made worse in light of
Tamimi’s age.

“The
video shows Ahed’s defiance and sense of confrontation through her
voice, through her silence and by slapping their soldier,” Ahed’s
father, Bassem Tamimi, said at a press conference in the West Bank
city of Ramallah on Monday. “This defiance is the message of our
new generation. The single purpose of this interrogation was to break
the symbolism of defiance that she represents by trying to have
her let go of her right to remain silent. She did not.”

Bassem
Tamimi said his daughter was interrogated every day during the first
10 days of her detention, with the exception of the day when she was
taken to court, adding that interrogations lasted up to 12
consecutive hours.

He
added that she was subjected to solitary confinement, sleep
deprivation for up to 34 hours, and lengthy and difficult transfers
between prison and the court in the “bosta” – the Arabic term for
the vans carrying prisoners.

The
footage seen by Middle East Eye shows Tamimi being interrogated on 26
December, a week after her arrest, at a police station in Shaar
Binyamin, an Israeli settlement in the West Bank.

Tamimi,
then 16-year-old, is seen sitting on a chair in a winter coat, with
one Israeli interrogator sitting behind a desk out of the camera’s
range, while another, reportedly from the Aman military intelligence,
sits next to her, at times scooting closer to her during the
interrogation with his legs seemingly open – a stance commonly used
by Israeli interrogators to intimidate women, according to several
former female Palestinian prisoners who
have spoken to MEE.

In
breach of regulations regarding the detention of minors, Tamimi is
interrogated without a lawyer or guardian present, nor is a female
officer seen at any point in the room, despite their presence being
mandated during the interrogation of women.

The
interrogators try in turn intimidation, guilt, and bizarre attempts
at establishing a rapport throughout the video, while Ahed keeps
silent looking back and forth between the two men and occasionally
burrowing her face into her collar, only speaking up to say: “I
hold the right to remain silent.”

In
one particularly jarring instance, the Aman interrogator leans
towards Tamimi and shouts at her that she looks like his sister.

“My
little sister is blonde and her eyes are like yours… When she goes
to the beach, yeah? Like a hamburger,” he says loudly in broken
Arabic, laughing. “For real, how are you in the sun? Like my
sister? Red, red, red?”

The
interrogators also try to induce guilt in Tamimi, telling her that
she would be responsible for any harm that might befall residents of
her village, Nabi Saleh, should she keep refusing to identify people
in videos shown to her.

“We
will take everyone if you don’t cooperate,” the Aman interrogator
says, as Ahed shifts uneasily in her chair. “It’s in your hands.
It’s in your hands.”

“I
don’t want to have to bring those children here. Children. Please,”
he adds. “You say something, maybe we don’t need to.”

Bassem
Tamimi highlighted on Monday that the footage showed tactics used
regularly by Israeli forces on Palestinian children, denouncing them
as violating international humanitarian law.

“This
all comes in the context of the occupation trying to target
Palestinian childhood,” Tamimi said at the press conference,
hailing Ahed’s commitment to staying silent as “confronting the
interrogator without fear entering her heart”.

Ahed
was 16 when she was arrested for slapping an Israeli soldier who
would not leave her family’s property in her hometown of Nabi Saleh,
on the same day as Israeli forces shot
her 15-year-old cousin Mohammed Tamimi in the head with
a rubber-coated steel bullet.

A
video of the incident went viral on Israeli social media, showing her
slapping, kicking and hitting two armed Israeli soldiers. Her
mother, Nariman Tamimi, was also detained and sentenced to eight
months in prison for filming and sharing the aforementioned video.

Ahed’s
trial gained international media coverage and human right groups,
including Amnesty International, have campaigned for her to be
released.

The
international attention prompted the Israeli court to hold hearings
on Tamimi’s case behind closed doors, ostensibly to uphold her
right to privacy as a minor, despite the Palestinian teenager waiving
her right, arguing that public proceedings would protect her from
what she has publicly called an “illegitimate court”.

Several
rights organisations have denounced the incarceration conditions for
Palestinian children over the years – pointing to the systematic
prosecution in front of military courts, with a nearly 100
percent conviction
rate.

According
to Defense
for Children International-Palestine
(DCIP), three out of four minors are subjected to physical violence
during arrest or interrogation. According to Prisoners’ rights NGO
Addameer, 356 Palestinian minors were detained by Israel as
of March.

Reports
by Human Rights Watch (HRW) and the Israeli rights groups B’Tselem
and HaMoked have found that Israeli forces use unnecessary
force while
detaining children and “routinely” interrogate
them without
the presence of a parent or lawyer. Several minors reported being
slapped, kicked, hit and blindfolded during their arrest or
interrogation, or made to sign documents in Hebrew despite not
speaking the language.
