Douma: door leugens balanceert de wereld op de rand van vernietiging………….

De enorme anti-Syrische en Russische
propaganda n.a.v. de ‘gifgasaanval’ op Douma, is zonder meer hysterisch te noemen en is niets anders dan het
bespelen van de publieke opinie voor een volledige oorlog tegen het
democratisch gekozen Syrische bewind……… (je kan hier rustig van hersenspoelen spreken)

De schrijver van het volgende artikel
heeft de zaken nog eens op een duidelijke rij gezet en kan dan ook
niet anders dan tot de conclusie komen dat de VS en haar bondgenoten
uit zijn op een oorlog met Rusland, ofwel WOIII……. Let wel: een
oorlog die dan gevoerd zal worden op basis van leugens zoals dit het geval was met de illegale
oorlogen van de VS en NAVO tegen: Afghanistan, Irak, Libië en
uiteindelijk Syrië, waar de VS (gesteund door de rest van het westen) nu met leugens over een
gifgasaanval zegt een aanval te moeten openen tegen het Syrische bewind…..* 

Onder andere aandacht voor de ‘gifgasaanval’ op Khan Sheikhoun vorig jaar en de enorme leugens die later werden doorgeprikt…… Ondanks dat blijft men volhouden dat Syrië achter de aanval zat, hetzelfde geldt voor de gifgasaanval in 2013, deze werd in de schoenen van Assad geschoven, maar bewezen door de ‘gematigde rebellen’ uitgevoerd >> dagelijks hoor je de laatste dagen (sinds de ‘gifgasaanval’ op Douma) onder meer op de landelijke nieuws- en actualiteiten radiozenders Radio1, BNR, BBC World Service, Radio Nova Scotia en WDR de leugen herhaalt worden dat het reguliere Syrische leger verantwoordelijk was voor deze aanval……..

Voorts wordt nog eens aangegeven hoe blij de bewoners van door het Syrische leger bevrijdde gebieden zijn, blij van de vreselijke terreur af te zijn, waaronder zij moesten leven…..

Years
of chemical weapons allegations, saber rattling and a desperate
search for a casus belli have culminated in a situation which risks a
serious conflict of world powers.

Western neoconservatives and hawks are driving the international situation to increase tension and danger. Not content with the destruction of Iraq and Libya based on false claims, they are now pressing for a direct U.S. attack on Syria


As
a dangerous prelude, Israeli jets flying over Lebanese airspace fired
missiles against
the T4/Tiyas Airbase west of Palmyra.     

This
was Predicted

As reported at Tass,
the Chief of Russia’s General Staff, Valery Gerasimov, predicted
the current events almost a month ago. The report from March 13 says:

Russia
has hard facts about preparations for staging the use of chemical
weapons against civilians by the government forces. After the
provocation, the U.S. plans to accuse Syria’s government forces of
using chemical weapons … furnish the so-called ‘evidence’ …
and Washington plans to deliver a missile and bomb strike against
Damascus’ government districts.”

Gerasimov
noted that Russian military advisors are staying in the Syrian
Defense Ministry’s facilities in Damascus and “in the event of a
threat to our military servicemen’s lives, Russia’s Armed Forces
will take retaliatory measures to target both the missiles and their
delivery vehicles.”

The
situation is clearly dangerous with risk of sliding into
international conflict and even WW3. If that happens, it would mean
the demise of civilization. All of this so that the West can continue
supporting the sectarian armed groups seeking to overthrow the Assad
government … in violation of international law and the UN Charter.

The
most powerful country in the world is now led by a real estate, hotel
and entertainment mogul without political experience. Behind the
scenes, there is a powerful foreign policy establishment determined
to maintain and reclaim U.S. unilateral “leadership” of the
world. They don’t like the fact that the U.S. is losing influence,
prestige and power around the world. Israel and Saudi Arabia are
especially upset that their plans for regional domination are
failing.

East
Ghouta, Damascus

East
Ghouta is a district of farms and towns on the north-east outskirts
of Damascus. For the past six years, various armed factions
controlled the area. On a nearly daily basis, they launched mortar
and hell cannon missile attacks into Damascus, killing many
thousands. This author personally witnessed two such mortar attacks
in April 2014.

By
the end of March, most of East Ghouta had been retaken by the
government. With the peaceful evacuation of armed militants,
civilians flooded into the humanitarian corridors and then government
camps for the displaced. The campaign was proceeding quickly with
minimal loss of life as the Russian Reconciliation officers
negotiated agreements which allowed the militants to keep small
weapons and be transported to Idlib in the north. Vanessa
Beeley documented the
situation including the happiness and relief of many civilians as
they finally made it to safety. One described the feeling as “like
being reborn”. Robert Fisk was on site and reported what he saw
firsthand in stories titled Watching
on as Islamist fighters are evacuated from war-torn Eastern
Ghouta and Western
howls of outrage over the Ghouta siege ring hollow.

As
reported at the
Russian Reconciliation Centre,
by the end of March, 105,857 civilians had moved into
government-controlled areas while 13,793 militants plus 23,433 family
members had been transported north. Those who wanted to stay,
including former fighters, were welcomed. They could rejoin Syrian
society with the same rights and obligations as other Syrians.

The
last remaining opposition stronghold was the town of Douma,
controlled by the Saudi funded Jaish al Islam. Negotiations were
prolonged because Jaish al Islam did not want to go to Idlib which is
dominated by another militant opposition group, Jabhat al Nusra also
known as Hayat Tahrir al-Sham.

The
Chemical Incident

On
Saturday, April 7 video and
stories claiming a chemical weapons attack in Douma were broadcast.
The video showed dozens of dead children. On Sunday the story grabbed
western mainstream media headlines.  U.S. President Trump
quickly came to a conclusion, President
Putin, Russia and Iran are responsible for backing Animal Assad. Big
price to pay.”

There
has been no objective investigation. The media claims are based on
statements and videos from members of the Syrian American Medical
Society (SAMS) and White Helmets. Both organizations receive
significant funding from the U.S. government and call for Western
intervention in Syria.

Chemical
weapons have emerged as the quick and easy justification for
aggression.  One year ago, in April 2017, it was the incident at
Khan Shaykoun. That resulted in a U.S. attack on a Syrian air base
just days later. The subsequent investigation discovered
that dozens of victims had shown up in hospitals in diverse locations
and up to 100 kms away from the scene of crime BEFORE the event
happened. 

Strangely, and indicating the investigation team’s bias,
this red flag pointing to fraud was not investigated further. If it
was just a few victims or just one location, it might be a mistake in
time record-keeping. However, in this case, there were dozens of
discrepancies in multiple locations, clearly raising the possibility
of fraud.     

Now
we have the incident in Douma, a town on the outskirts of Damascus.
The armed opposition is in retreat. They have tried to pressure the
US and NATO to intervene directly since 2012. They have access
to chemical weapons in
East Ghouta and a motive. They also have thousands of prisoners. This
is the group which put hundreds of prisoners, primarily women, and
children, in cages on
the streets of Douma.

Who
Benefits?

The
timing of the chemical weapons incidents is also noteworthy. As
documented here,
one year ago on 30 March 2017 Ambassador Haley said the U.S. policy
was no longer focused on getting Assad out. Five days later the
chemical incident at Khan Sheikhoun happened, quickly followed by
blaming the Syrian government, a U.S. attack and a restoration of the
demand that “Assad must go”. On March 29 Trump said that
U.S. forces will withdraw from Syria “very soon”. This was
followed by outcries from the media and political establishment. Now,
following the Saturday chemical weapons incident, the U.S. is again
threatening to intervene directly. The chemical weapons incidents
have consistently resulted in the reversal of a proposed change in
hostility toward Syria.  

Neoconservatives
and the supporters of ‘regime change’ foreign policy have various
theories why the Assad government would perpetrate a chemical weapons
attack. Senator John McCain says the
Syrian President was “emboldened” by the previous Trump
statement.

Juan
Cole, an academic who promoted the assaults on Libya in 2011, has a
different theory. He says:,“Chemical
weapons are used by desperate regimes that are either outnumbered by
the enemy or are reluctant to take casualties in their militaries.
Barrel-bombing Douma with chem seems to have appealed to the regime
as a tactic for this reason. It had potential of frightening the
Douma population into deserting the Army of Islam.” In contrast
with his theory, chemical weapons were used extensively by the U.S.
in Vietnam and Iraq when they were far from desperate. As evidenced
in the flow of civilians into government-held areas, most of the
civilian population are happy to get away from the sectarian and
violent Army of Islam (“Jaish al Islam”). Cole seems to be basing
his theories on inaccurate western media coverage just as he did
regarding Libya where sensational claims about a looming massacre in
Benghazi were later shown to
be fraudulent.

It’s
clear who benefits from sensational media coverage about a chemical
weapons incident: those who seek to demonize the Syrian government
and President and want the U.S. government to intervene militarily.
Every time there is an incident, it is quickly accepted and used by
the governments and organizations who have been seeking ‘regime
change’ in Syria for many years.

Manipulating
Public Opinion

The
manipulation of western opinion about the Syrian conflict using fake
events is not theory; it has been proven.  A good example is
the fake
kidnapping of
NBC reporter Richard Engel in December 2012.  Engel and his
media team were reportedly kidnapped and threatened with death by
“Shabiha” supporters of the Syrian president. After days in
captivity, the American team was supposedly rescued by Free Syrian
Army “rebels” after a shootout. In 2015 it was confirmed this was
a hoax perpetrated
by the FSA and their American supporters. The entire charade was
carried out by the “rebels”. The goal was to demonize the Assad
government and its supporters and to romanticize and increase support
for the armed opposition. Neither Engel nor NBC confessed to the
reality until it was about to be exposed years later, pointing to
duplicity and collusion in the deception.

Four
and half years ago, on 21 August 2013, the most famous chemical
weapons incident occurred. The Syrian government was immediately
accused of launching a sarin attack which killed hundreds of children
and civilians. Over the next six months, investigations were carried
out. The conclusions of Seymour
Hersh, Robert
Parry and
the research site whoghouta.com concluded
that the attack was almost certainly NOT from the government but
actually from one of the ‘rebel’ factions with support from
Turkish intelligence services. Two Turkish parliamentary deputies
held a press conference and publicly revealed some
of the evidence. The intent then, as now, was to provide
justification and provocation for the U.S. and NATO to intervene
directly.

An
Imminent Attack

Today
there is the imminent possibility of a major attack based on the
allegations of a clearly biased source. Whatever happened to
international law and legal due process? Why is violence being
threatened before there is a serious objective investigation of the
chemical incident? If the accusations against Syria are true, why not
have a serious investigation, especially now that the area has been
liberated today (9 April) and safe access can be provided?

The
drums of war are pounding. After over one year of incessant Russia
bashing and disinformation, is the public ready to go to war
with Russia over
Syria? Neoconservative hawks and their Israeli and Saudi allies seem
to want this. Their plans and predictions for Iraq, Libya and Yemen
were delusional fantasies with the price paid in blood by the people
of those countries and in treasure by Americans as well. Sadly, there
has not been any accountability for the media and political
establishment that promoted and launched these wars. Now they want to
escalate the aggression by attacking Syria, causing vastly more blood
to flow and risking a confrontation with a country which can fight
back.

Westerse massa misleiding in aanloop naar WOIII……

Op
CounterPunch werd afgelopen woensdag  een artikel
van Colin Todhunter gepubliceerd. Hierin stelt Todhunter dat alles
erop lijkt dat we op weg zijn naar WOIII, maar dat de reguliere media de wereldbevolking op grove manier misleiden door dit te verzwijgen…….

De
illegale oorlog van de VS en de NAVO tegen het Libië van Khadaffi
hebben de sociale structuur en de infrastructuur van dat land volledig in puin
gelegd…….. Khadaffi moest vallen daar hij de westerse hegemonie
in Afrika probeerde te ondermijnen en het continent zelfstandig wilde maken….. Waar zijn wil voor de introductie van de gouden dinar niet vergeten
moet worden, een munt die anders dan de dollar op op de tegenwaarde
van goud gebaseerd zou zijn, terwijl de dollar lucht als tegenwaarde heeft…… Met de gouden dinar wilde Khadaffi de dollar
vervangen als internationaal betaalmiddel en als valuta voor de aan- en verkoop van olie en gas….. Tja met zulke plannen
heb je je doodvonnis, door de VS te voltrekken, al getekend, zelfs voor je deze plannen kan uitvoeren………

Met
enorme leugens, als het opkomen voor mensenrechten, democratie brengen of een dictator
verstoten, zogenaamde politieke argumenten, herhaald door de reguliere westerse media, werd de
westerse bevolking klaargestoomd voor deze illegale oorlog, zoals dit
eerder al gebeurde voorafgaand aan de door de VS (met behulp van o.a. NAVO landen) illegaal gevoerde oorlogen tegen Afghanistan en Irak…..

Todhunter
legt verder uit dat de demonisering van Rusland en China met maar
één doel wordt gevoerd: een oorlog van de VS tegen deze landen
om zo haar wereldhegemonie te kunnen vestigen over de gebieden die deze landen
vertegenwoordigen, of beter gezegd verder uit te
breiden, immers de VS heeft rond Rusland en China een enorm aantal
militaire bases gebouwd………. 

Voor de oorlogen tegen Afghanistan,
Irak, Libië en Syrië, bediende de VS zich van dezelfde massa misleiding, waar zoals gezegd ook destijds het grootste deel van de westerse politici en de reguliere westerse media braaf aan mee hebben
gedaan…….

Uitermate
wrang dat de politici die met deze misleiding bezig zijn, inclusief
de door hen gesteunde media, nu het grootste woord voeren over ‘fake
news’ (of ‘nepnieuws’) terwijl zij in feite de grote verkondigers zijn van
fake news en dan fake news waarmee deze eeuw al meer dan 2 miljoen
mensen zijn vermoord (door de VS en haar hielenlikkende westerse
bondgenoten van de NAVO)…….

Deception and the Prelude to World War

In
Libya, NATO bombed a path to Tripoli to help its proxy forces on the
ground oust Gaddafi. Tens of thousands lost their lives and that
country’s social fabric and infrastructure now lies in ruins.
Gaddafi was murdered and his plans to assert African independence and
undermine Western (not
least French)
hegemony on that continent have been rendered obsolete.

In
Syria, the US, Turkey, France, Britain, Saudi Arabia and Qatar have
been helping to arm militants. The Daily Telegraph’s March 2013
article “US and Europe in ‘major airlift of arms to Syrian rebels
through Zagreb’” reported that 3,000 tons of weapons dating back
to the former Yugoslavia had been sent in 75 planeloads from Zagreb
airport to the rebels. The New York Times March 2013 article “Arms
Airlift to Syria Rebels Expands, With CIA Aid” stated that Arab
governments and Turkey had sharply increased their military aid to
Syria’s opposition fighters. This aid included more than 160
military cargo flights.

Sold
under the notion of a spontaneous democratic uprising against a
tyrannical political leader, Syria is little more than an illegal war
for capital,
empire and energy. The
West and its allies have been instrumental
in organising the war as
elaborated by Tim Anderson in his book ‘The
Dirty War on Syria’.

Over
the last 15 years or so, politicians and the media have been
manipulating popular sentiment to get an increasingly war-fatigued
Western public to support ongoing wars under the notion of protecting
civilians or a bogus ‘war on terror’. They spin a yarn about
securing women’s rights or a war on terror in Afghanistan, removing
despots from power in Iraq, Libya or Syria or protecting human life,
while then going on to attack or help destabilise countries,
resulting in the loss of hundreds of thousands of civilian lives.

Emotive
language designed to instil fear about potential terror attacks in
Europe or myths about humanitarianism intervention are used as a
pretext to wage imperialist wars in mineral-rich countries and
geostrategically important regions.

Part
of the battle for the public’s hearts and minds is to keep people
confused. They must be convinced to regard these wars and conflicts
as a disconnected array of events and not as the planned machinations
of empire. The ongoing disinformation narrative about Russian
aggression is part of the strategy. Ultimately, Russia (and China) is
the real and increasingly imminent target: Moscow has stood in the
way of the West’s plans in Syria and both Russia and China
are undermining
the role of the dollar in
international trade, a lynchpin of US power.

The
countries of the West are effectively heading for war with Russia but
relatively few among the public seem to know or even care. Many are
oblivious to the slaughter that has already been inflicted on
populations with the help of their taxes and governments in far-away
lands. With the reckless neoconservative warmonger John Bolton now
part of the Trump administration, it seems we could be hurtling
towards major war much faster than previously thought.

Most
of the public remains blissfully ignorant of the psy-ops being
directed at them through the corporate media. Given recent
events in the UK and the ramping up of anti-Russia rhetoric, if
ordinary members of the public think that Theresa May or Boris
Johnson ultimately have their best interests at heart, they should
think again. The major transnational corporations based on Wall
Street and in the City of London are the ones setting Anglo-US policy
agendas often via the Brookings Institute, Council on Foreign
Relations, International Crisis Group, Chatham House, etc.

The
owners of these companies, the capitalist class, have off-shored
millions of jobs as well as their personal and company tax
liabilities to boost their profits and have bankrupted economies. We
see the results in terms of austerity, unemployment, powerlessness,
privatization, deregulation, banker control of economies, corporate
control of food and seeds, the stripping away of civil liberties,
increased mass surveillance and wars to grab mineral resources and
ensure US dollar hegemony. These are the interests the politicians
serve.

It’s
the ability to maximise profit by shifting capital around the world
that matters to this class, whether on the back of distorted free
trade agreements, which open the gates for plunder, or through
coercion and militarism, which merely tear them down.

Whether
it is the structural violence of neoliberal economic policies or
actual military violence, the welfare of ordinary folk around the
world does not enter the equation. In an imposed oil-thirsty,
war-driven system of globalised capitalism and over-consumption that
is wholly unnecessary and is stripping the planet bare, the bottom
line is that ordinary folk – whether workers in the West, farmers
in India or
civilians displaced en masse in war zones like Syria – must be bent
according to the will of Western capital.


We
should not be fooled by made-for-media outpourings of morality about
good and evil that are designed to create fear, outrage and support
for more militarism and resource-grab wars. The shaping of public
opinion is a multi-million-dollar industry.

Take
for instance the mass harvesting of Facebook data by Cambridge
Analytica to shape the outcomes of the US election and the Brexit
campaign. According to journalist Liam
O’Hare,
its parent company Strategic Communications Laboratories (SCL) has
conducted ‘behavioural change’ programmes in over 60 countries
and its clients have included the British Military of Defence, the US
State Department and NATO. According to O’Hare, the use of the
media to fool the public is one of SCL’s key selling points.


Among
its activities in Europe have been campaigns targeting Russia. The
company has “sweeping links” with Anglo-American political and
military interests. In the UK, the interests of the governing
Conservative Party and military-intelligence players are brought
together via SCL: board members include “an array of Lords, Tory
donors, ex-British army officers and defense contractors.”

O’Hare
says it is clear is that all SCL’s activities have been
inextricably linked to its Cambridge Analytica arm. He states:
“International deception and meddling is the name of the game for
SCL. We finally have the most concrete evidence yet of shadowy actors
using dirty tricks in order to rig elections. But these operators
aren’t operating from Moscow… they are British, Eton educated,
headquartered in the City of London and have close ties to Her
Majesty’s government”

So,
what are we to make of the current anti-Russia propaganda we witness
regarding the nerve agent incident in Salisbury and the failure of
the British government to provide evidence to demonstrate Russian
culpability? The relentless accusations by Theresa May and Boris
Johnson that have been parroted across the corporate media in the
West indicate that the manipulation of public perception is
everything and facts count for little. It is alarming given what
is at stake – the escalation of conflict between the West and a
major nuclear power.

to the world of mass deception à
la Edward
Bernays and Josef Goebbels.

US
social commentator Walter Lippmann once said that ‘responsible men’
make decisions and have to be protected from the ‘bewildered herd’
– the public. He added that the public should be subdued, obedient
and distracted from what is really happening. Screaming patriotic
slogans and fearing for their lives, they should be admiring with awe
leaders who save them from destruction.

Although
the West’s political leaders are manipulating, subduing and
distracting the public in true Lippmannesque style, they aren’t
‘saving’ anyone from anything: their reckless actions towards
Russia could lead towards a war that could wipe out all life on the
planet.

Weer een
geval van je gelooft je ogen niet als je het leest: de
psychopathische Saoedische kroonprins Mohammed bin Salman (MBS), de
oorlogsmisdadiger die verantwoordelijk is voor de gaande zijnde
genocide op sjiieten in Jemen*, werd maar liefst 75 minuten lang
gepromoot door de Washington Post (WaPo).

Tijdens
de promotie voor deze schoft stelde deze ‘MBS’ dat de VS en andere
westerse landen Saoedi-Arabië hebben gevraagd haar vorm van islam,
het wahabisme uit te dragen in landen die banden onderhielden met de
Sovjet-Unie, ofwel als instrument te dienen tegen het
‘communisme………’

E.e.a.
nadat Saoedi-Arabië het wahabisme ging uitdragen als reactie op
Nasser, de ‘socialistische’ president van Egypte, waar de term ‘nasserisme’ haar oorsprong vond. Nasser was de Egyptische president die tijdens zijn leven (en lang daarna) immens populair was in de arabische wereld……..

In de 80er jaren leidde dit tot de samenwerking van de VS met Saoedi-Arabië in de strijd tegen door de Sovjet-Unie gesteunde linkse bewind in Afghanistan, ofwel: dit leidde tot de strijd tegen de Russische troepen in dat land……. (ANTIMEDIA) — In
the latest continuation of western media’s shameless promotion of
a known war criminal, the Washington
Post (WaPo) sat
down with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) last Thursday
for a 75-minute discussion (even the Post itself
previously published an acknowledgment of
his crimes).

While
the Post’s write-up focuses mainly on the
allegation that MBS has Donald Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner,
“in his pocket,” the war in Yemen, and the rights of women in the
Kingdom, most curious is the second-to-last paragraph of the report,
which states the following:

“Asked
about the Saudi-funded spread of Wahhabism, the austere faith that is
dominant in the kingdom and that some have accused of being a source
of global terrorism, Mohammed said that investments in mosques and
madrassas overseas were rooted in the Cold War, when
allies asked Saudi Arabia to use its resources to prevent inroads in
Muslim countries by the Soviet Union.” [emphasis
added]

What?
Allies asked Saudi Arabia to use its resources —
specifically, investments in mosques and madrassas overseas —to
prevent countries from forming alliances with the former Soviet
Union?

Of
course, it was already known that
Saudi Arabia was doing just that for decades, but this is the first
time the blame has been openly shifted to Western allies in an
interview with a major newspaper.

As the Week explained in
2015, Saudi Arabia has spent billions of dollars “investing
heavily in building mosques, madrasas, schools, and Sunni cultural
centers across the Muslim world. Indian intelligence says that in
India alone, from 2011 to 2013, some 25,000 Saudi clerics arrived
bearing more than $250 million to build mosques and universities and
hold seminars.”

The
effects of this policy have been far-reaching. As even pro-war
pundit Fareed Zakaria has documented:

“In
Southeast Asia, almost all observers whom I have spoken with believe
that there is another crucial cause [behind the ‘cancer’ of
Islamic extremism] – exported money and ideology from the Middle
East, chiefly Saudi Arabia. A Singaporean official told me, ‘Travel
around Asia and you will see so many new mosques and madrassas built
in the last 30 years that have had funding from the Gulf. They are
modern, clean, air-conditioned, well-equipped – and Wahhabi [Saudi
Arabia’s puritanical version of Islam].’

Recently,
it was reported that Saudi Arabia plans to contribute almost $1
billion to build 560 mosques in Bangladesh. The Saudi government has
denied this, but sources in Bangladesh tell me there’s some truth
to the report.”

Saudi
Arabia’s funding for extremism has even reached as far as the
Indian Ocean. According
to the New
York Times,
Saudi Arabia has “for
decades spread its conservative strand of Islam in the Maldives by
sending religious leaders, building mosques and giving scholarships
to students to attend universities.” Is
it a mere coincidence therefore that the South
China Morning Post reported that
Indian intelligence sources are claiming hundreds of Maldivians have
joined ISIS in Syria?

We
also know from
Hillary Clinton’s leaked emails that Saudi Arabia was almost
certainly one of ISIS’ prime sponsors — and that the Clinton camp
was well aware of this issue.

While
this is the first time a prominent figurehead like MBS has admitted
not only that Saudi Arabia spreads its Wahhabist strain of Islam
across the world but also that it was done at the request of its
western allies, there is proof that MBS’ claim is a well-kept
secret of former and current American administrations.

As
former U.S. ambassador Zalmay Khalilzad wrote
in September 2016,
a Saudi official quietly admitted this little-known fact almost two
years ago:

“He
[the Saudi official] explained that Saudi support for Islamic
extremism started in the early 1960s as a counter to Nasserism—the
socialist political ideology that came out of the thinking of Egypt’s
Gamal Abdel Nasser—which threatened Saudi Arabia and led to war
between the two countries along the Yemen border. This tactic allowed
them to successfully contain Nasserism, and the Saudis concluded that
Islamism could be a powerful tool with broader utility.

“Under
their new and unprecedented policy of honesty, the Saudi leadership
also explained to me that their support for
extremism was a way of resisting the Soviet Union, often in
cooperation with the United States, in places like Afghanistan in the
1980s. In
this application too, they argued, it proved successful. Later it was
deployed against Iranian-supported Shiite movements in the
geopolitical competition between the two countries.” [emphasis
added]

Israëlische
bronnen meldden onlangs dat Israël bezig is met de voorbereiding op
een oorlog, die op meerdere fronten gevoerd moet gaan worden…… Hierin staat Israël bepaald niet
alleen, ook de VS is daar mee bezig gezien de feiten en agressie in
Syrië en tegen Iran, en diezelfde agressie, al is het nog niet met (volledig) militair geweld tegen Rusland, Noord-Korea en… China.

De
VS stelt de soevereiniteit en democratie van landen als de Filipijnen, Japan en
Taiwan ‘te verdedigen*‘ tegen Chinese ‘agressie’, agressie die bestaat uit het
opspuiten van eilandjes in de Zuid-Chinese Zee, een zee die niet aan
de VS grenst, maar zoals de naam al doet vermoeden, wel aan China…….

Gezien
de grootschalige terreur die de VS verspreidt in bijvoorbeeld het
Midden-Oosten (waartoe men voor voor het gemak ook Afghanistan en
Libië rekent) en het feit dat de VS rond China en Rusland
meer dan 600 militaire bases hebben ingericht, is het bepaald niet

Tel
daar de VS import heffingen op Chinees staal en aluminium bij op en je kan niets anders zien dan het begin van een handelsoorlog….. Het plaatje is

Warship Infuriates China After Sailing Within 12 Miles of Disputed
Island

(ANTIMEDIA) — A
U.S. Navy destroyer carried out a “freedom of navigation”
operation on Friday, coming within 12 nautical miles of one of
China’s artificial islands, according to an
exclusive Reuters report.

Speaking
to Reuters on the condition of anonymity, U.S.
officials said the destroyer Mustin traveled close to Mischief Reef
in the Spratly Islands and carried out maneuvering operations.
Washington’s intention was to counter what it sees as China’s
attempts to limit the freedom of navigation in the strategically
located waters.

The
navigation reportedly infuriated Beijing, which still has territorial
disputes with its neighbors. As Reuters highlighted,
12 nautical miles is an internationally recognized territorial limit
and fits a recent pattern of U.S. navigational behavior. However, it
is highly likely that the U.S. purposely brought the ship as close as
possible, as it has become increasingly concerned that China’s
build-up in the area will eventually drive the U.S. out and make its
so-called free nautical movement non-existent.

According
to Reuters, the U.S. military believes its activities are
carried out under international law and relies on the fact that
American forces regularly operate in the region.

“We
conduct routine and regular freedom of navigation operations, as we
have done in the past and will continue to do in the
future,” Lieutenant
Commander Nicole Schwegman, a spokesperson for the U.S. Pacific
Fleet, said, as quoted by Reuters.

China’s
response to this latest move was to send two naval ships of its own
to identify the ships and warn the destroyer to leave. In turn, China
has vowed to accelerate its plans for the region in order to combat
the American presence.

“The
provocative behaviour by the U.S. side will only cause the Chinese
military to further strengthen building up defense abilities in all
areas,” a
Chinese Defense Ministry statement read.

Its
navy will also carry out combat drills in the South China Sea,
calling the development part of regular annual exercises.

This
is not the first time this year Washington has sent a warship to the
area, rattling China in the process. In January,
China vowed to take “necessary measures” to protect its
sovereignty after the U.S. Navy destroyer USS Hopper came within 12
nautical miles of Huangyuan Island, which is subject to a rival claim
by the Philippines.

This
latest operation occurred just one day after Donald Trump signed a
presidential memorandum that will target $60 billion in Chinese goods
with tariffs following a 30-day consultation period that will begin
once the list of targeted Chinese goods is published. China already
warned against
this provocative move, urging the U.S. to step away from what it
termed as “the brink.”

The
move also follows the revelation that the Trump administration signed
the Taiwan
Travel Act into
law. The bill calls for increased high-level visits to Taiwan by U.S.
civilian and military leaders. Just last week, Anti-Media released
a report predicting
that the situation would quietly start to escalate with little more
than a blink from the media, which is busy debating gun control,
Facebook’s much-needed scrutiny, and anything else that doesn’t
involve a potential nuclear holocaust.

In
early February, President Trump said he planned
to nominate Admiral
Harry B. Harris Jr., the commander of the U.S. Pacific Command, as
ambassador to Australia. Not long after, Harris was quick to
advise Congress to prepare for a war with China in the South China
Sea.

Australia
has recently been caught in a war of words of its own with China and
had plans to send a British
warship into
the South China Sea earlier this month, as well.

It
might sound simplistic, but Washington’s concern with the area and
rationale for risking an all-out confrontation is about one thing:
money. China’s use of the South China sea attracts approximately $5
trillion in ship-borne trade every year, according to Reuters.

All
that is preventing China from injecting itself into the rest of the
global market eastward through the Pacific Ocean is a chain of
islands known as the “first
island chain,” an
island chain that includes the Kuril Islands of Russia, the Japanese
archipelago, Taiwan, the northern Philippines, and Borneo. America
has blocked China through its control of these islands and with the
help of its allies on the ground, but this has recently started to
change.

Since August
last year,
China has had an incursion of its own into the area, flying bombers
and intelligence aircraft near these southern outlying islands of
Japan. Russia, a stalwart ally of China, is also looking to build
a naval base in the area even
though control of the islands in question continues to be a point of
dispute between Japan and Russia. It seems likely that Russia’s
military presence will only aid China’s regional ambitions — as
opposed to presenting a buffer to it — as the two nuclear powers
often view U.S. hegemony through the same lens. Further
complicating this issue, in February of this year,
2,000 Russian troops held military exercises on the Southern Kurils,
irking Japan in the process.

Clearly,
things are building up for a reason, though one would be hard-pressed
to find any mainstream media outlet that pays this story the amount
of coverage it deserves.

Mark Skidmore van de Michigan State University ging uitzoeken waar
6,5 biljoen dollar was gebleven, 6,5 biljoen die niet waren goedgekeurd door
het Congres en kwam er achter dat het werkelijke bedrag veel groter
was dan eerder aangegeven en uiteindelijk uitkomt op 21 biljoen (in VS aangeduid als 21 triljoen dollar) niet goedgekeurde uitgaven….

Voor het ‘defensie’ budget bedroeg dit bedrag al meer dan 11 biljoen……. En
dan wil Trump dat de andere NAVO partners hun budgetten verder
opschroeven……. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Moet je nagaan: de VS het land dat

Army alone had $11.5 trillion missing.

Some
individual unsupported journal adjustments are SIX TIMES the total
annual budget of the Army.

A
overall 1% error in government budgets is considered “normal.”

Theese
numbers are astronomical.

How
can you do a proper evaluation of numbers with figures like this? All
spending needs to be a approved by Congress.

the Receipts and Expenditures of all public Money shall be published
from time to time.” ~

On
July 26, 2016, the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) issued a
report “Army General Fund Adjustments Not Adequately Documented or
Supported”.  The report indicates that for fiscal year 2015
the Army failed to provide adequate support for $6.5 trillion in
journal voucher adjustments.  According to
the GAO’s Comptroller General, “Journal vouchers are
summary-level accounting adjustments made when balances between
systems cannot be reconciled. Often these journal vouchers are
unsupported, meaning they lack supporting documentation to justify
the adjustment or are not tied to specific accounting
transactions…. For an auditor, journal
vouchers are a red flag for
transactions not being captured, reported, or summarized correctly.”

(Note,
after Mark Skidmore began inquiring about OIG-reported
unsubstantiated adjustments, the OIG’s webpage, which 
documented, albeit in a highly incomplete manner, these unsupported
“accounting adjustments,”  was mysteriously taken
down. Fortunately, Mark copied the July 2016 report and all other
relevant OIG-reports in advance and reposted them here.
Mark has repeatedly tried to contact Lorin Venable, Assistant
Inspector General at the Office of the Inspector General.  He
has emailed, phoned, and used LinkedIn to ask Ms. Venable about OIG’s
disclosure of unsubstantiated adjustments, but she has not
responded.)

Given
that the entire Army budget in fiscal year 2015 was $120 billion,
unsupported adjustments were 54 times the level of spending
authorized by Congress.  The July 2016 report indicates that
unsupported adjustments are the result of the Defense Department’s
“failure to correct system deficiencies.” The result,
according to the report, is that data used to prepare the year-­end
financial statements were unreliable and lacked an adequate audit
trail. The report indicates that just 170 transactions accounted for
$2.1 trillion in year—end unsupported adjustments.  No
information is given about these 170 transactions.  In addition
many thousands of transactions with unsubstantiated adjustments 
were, according to the report, removed by the Army.

There
is no explanation concerning why they were removed nor their
magnitude. The July 2016 report states, “In addition, DFAS
(Defense Finance and Accounting Service) Indianapolis personnel did
not document or support why DDRS (The Defense Department Reporting
System) removed at least 16,513 of 1.3 million feeder file records
during the Third Quarter.”

An
appendix to the July 2016 report shows $2 trillion in changes to the
Army General Fund balance sheet due to unsupported adjustments. On
the asset side, there is $794 billion increase in the Army’s Fund
Balance with the U.S. Treasury.  There is also an increase of
$929 billion in the Army’s Accounts Payable. This information raises
additional major questions. First, what is the source of the
additional $794 billion in the Army’s Fund Balance? This adjustment
represents more than six times appropriated spending. 

Second,
do these transfers represent a flow of funds to the Army beyond those
authorized by Congress? Third, were these funds authorized and if so
when and by whom? Fourth, what is the source of these funds? Finally,
the $929 billion in Accounts Payable appears to represent an amount
owed for items or services purchased on credit. What entities have
received or will receive payment?

The
July 2016 report is not the only such report of unsubstantiated
adjustments. Mark Skidmore and Catherine Austin Fitts, former
Assistant Secretary of Housing and Urban Development,  conducted
a search of government websites and found similar reports dating back
to 1998.  While the documents are incomplete, original
government sources indicate $21
trillion in
unsupported adjustments have been reported for the Department of
Defense and the Department of Housing and Urban Development for the
years 1998-2015.

While
government budgets can be complex, our government, like any business,
can track receipts and payments and share this information in ways
that can be understood by the public.  The ongoing occurrence
and gargantuan nature of unsupported, i.e., undocumented, U.S.
federal government expenditures as well as sources of funding for
these expenditures should be a great concern to all tax payers.

Taken
together these reports point to a failure to comply with basic
Constitutional and legislative requirements for spending and
disclosure. We urge the House and Senate Budget Committee to initiate
immediate investigations of unaccounted federal expenditures as well
as the source of their payment.

PS,
On December 11, 2017 we learned that the key documents had been
reposted on the OIG website, but with different URLs. On October 5,
2017 we discovered that the link to the report “Army General Fund
Adjustments Not Adequately Documented or Supported” had been
disabled. Within a several days, the links to other OIG documents we
identified in our search were also disabled. The sequential
non-random nature of this disabling process suggests a purposeful
decision on the part of OIG to make key documents unavailable to the
public via the website, as opposed to website reorganization, etc. We
also revisited the website intermittently to see whether the
documents had been reposted under different URLs—until very
recently they had not been reposted. The OIG link to the most report

Clearing House bracht gisteren een artikel waarin min of meer wordt
aangekondigd dat de ‘gematigde rebellen’ aan de kant van de VS, een
gifgasaanval voorbereiden met chlorine. Een grote hoeveelheid, 20 ton
chlorine en ontstekers zijn geleverd aan de terreurgroep in al-Tanf.

De
bedoeling is om dit gif te gebruiken tegen een dichtbevolkt gebied,
waarna de White Helmets (ofwel Al Qaida Syrië) en de hysterische westerse reguliere media met beelden van de slachtoffers de wereld zullen overspoelen (‘uiteraard’ met zoveel mogelijk kinderen) en de mededeling dat de
reguliere Syrische troepen deze aanval hebben uitgevoerd….. Een
‘false flag operatie’ noemt men een dergelijke ‘werkwijze…..’

Ongelofelijk
maar waar: alle gifgasaanvallen tot nu toe tijdens de illegale oorlog
tegen het Syrische bewind, werden door de westerse media en het
overgrote deel van de westerse politici toegewezen aan aan het Syrische bewind….. Dit
blijft men volhouden, ondanks dat na onderzoek keer op keer blijkt

de uitlatingen van o.a. VS ambassadeur bij de VN, hare leeghoofdige

‘volgende’ gifgasaanval ‘van het reguliere Syrische leger, of de
Russen’, de VS ingrijpen en zal Damascus, inclusief het paleis van Assad

Haley
durfde daar zelfs aan toe te voegen dat men geen rekening zal houden
met de aanwezige Russen in Damascus……

Intussen
heeft Rusland aangegeven dat het niet zal toezien hoe Damascus of
haar onderdanen worden gebombardeerd en heeft beloofd terug te zullen slaan………

Echter
gezien de geschiedenis van het gedrag vertoond door VS coalitie in deze illegale oorlog tegen Syrië, zal er geen rekening worden gehouden
met de woorden van de Russische minister van buitenlandse zaken
Lavrov en de stafchef van het Russische leger Gerasimov……. Ofwel

Planning a Terrorist False Flag Chemical Attack in Syria: Russia Says
It Will Respond

in Syria increasingly resemble a direct confrontation between major
powers rather than a proxy war. Lavrov’s words, delivered a few
days ago, reveal the critical phase of international relations the
world is going through, with a potentially devastating conflict ready
to ignite in the Middle East region.


An
alarming warning by
Sergei Lavrov and Chief of the Russian General Staff, Valery
Gerasimov,
was announced via the RT broadcaster and several Russian
media. The content is explosive and deserving of the widest possible
dissemination. Gerasimov claimed that
Moscow had “reliable information that fighters are preparing to
stage the use by government troops of chemical weapons against the
civilian population.” He alleged that the US intends to accuse
Assad’s troops of using chemical weapons against civilians, and then
“carry out a bombing attack” on Damascus. Gerasimov warned
that Russia would “take retaliatory measures” if the US
targeted areas where its military are located in the Syrian capital. 


“Russian military advisers, representatives of the Center for
Reconciliation and members of military police” are currently in
the Syrian capital, Gerasimov said, adding that in the event that the
lives of Russian military personnel are placed in danger, the Russian
Armed Forces will respond with certain measure to both “missiles”
and their “launchers”. A few hours earlier, Lavrov responded,
“criticizing the remarks by the US envoy to the UN, Nikki Haley,
about Washington’s readiness to “bomb Damascus and even the
presidential palace of Bashar Assad, regardless [of the] presence of
the Russian representatives there.” “It is an absolutely
irresponsible statement,” the Russian top diplomat added.

The
words of Gerasimov are even more dire,
since he explains how the United States and its allies are preparing
the ground to justify an attack on Syria. According to reports,
terrorists stationed in Al-Tanf (an illegal US military base in
Syria) received 20 tons of chlorine gas and detonators, disguised as
cigarette packs, in order to attack in an area under the control of
the terrorists that is densely inhabited by civilians. 


What would
then happen is already obvious, with the White Helmets (AKA
Al-Qaeda) and
mainstream media ready to broadcast the images of the victims of
the attack, tugging at the heartstrings of Western viewers otherwise
unaware of the conspiracy being
played out. Efforts to frame Russia have already reached the highest
alert levels, with the false-flag poisoning of the Russian spy in the
United Kingdom. It seems that there is a significant effort by the
United States, the United Kingdom, France and Germany to provoke a
military confrontation with Moscow. How else are we able to
interpret threats from
Macron to strike Damascus, together with his ominous advice to
foreign journalists not to go to Damascus in the coming days and, for
those already there, to leave the capital immediately? There has even
been chatter within diplomatic circles that suggest that UN personnel
are leaving Damascus. This could be psychological warfare, or it
could be a prelude to war. With the stakes so high, we cannot afford
to ignore any detail, even if it may be disinformation. The American
attack seems imminent, with mounting signs of movements of American
and Russian warships in the Mediterranean in attack
formation.


Russian
military representatives have reiterated that in the event of an
attack, they will respond by
hitting both the missiles launched as well as the ships from which
the missiles were launched. Things are getting pretty dicey, and the
risk of a direct confrontation between the United States and the
Russian Federation are rising with every passing hour.
The transfer of
numerous US aircraft from Incirlik, Turkey, to Al-Azrak, Jordan,
is another indication of preparations for an attack, since the forces
moved to Jordan are close to the Al-Tanf base. The
proposed strategy could
involve an assault on the city of Daraa, for the purposes of securing
the borders between Syria and Jordan and Syria and Israel.


The
warnings raised by Lavrov and Gerasimov appear unprecedented, given
that they detail a plan already set in course, evidently approved at
the highest levels and aimed at provoking and justifying an attack on
Syria; and attack that would encompass the Russian forces in Syria.
Tensions continue to grow, following Russia’s shooting
down of
a drone by two surface-to-air missiles launched from its Hmeimim Air
Base. Moscow has even deployed to
the Mediterranean the Admiral Grigorovich-class frigate Admiral
Essen and the Krivak II-class anti-submarine frigate Pytivyy.
Both are prepared for anti-ship and anti-submarine operations.
Sources claim that this deployment was planned some time ago and is
part of a routine deployment of the Russian navy. But during such a
delicate moment, it pays to focus on every detail. Without resorting
to excessive alarmism, if Lavrov said that “the movements of the
warships of the United States and its allies in the Mediterranean
seem compatible with the strategy of using this chemical attack to
justify an attack on the Syrian Arab army and government
installations”, then it is reasonable to speculate on whether the
Russian ships are moving in to the area to counter any provocations.


There
are two fundamental flaws in the reasoning of US policy-makers and
the US military establishment. They are convinced that an American
demonstration of strength (involving a large number of cruise missile
launched against Syria through a significant involvement of aircraft
carriers as well as bombers) would stun Russia into passivity.
Furthermore, US military generals are convinced that Syria and Russia
do not have the ability to defend themselves for an extended period
of time. They seem to be fooling themselves with their own
propaganda. As their Israeli colleagues have already learned, such an
assumption is mistaken. While the idea that a high level of firepower
would meet with some kind of success, the possibility of a response
from Syrian and Russian forces remains. And this possibility seems
not to have been given sufficient weight by the US and her allies.


How
would the American military and the Trump presidency react to a US
warship being sunk by anti-ship missiles? It would only serve to
demonstrate how vulnerable American naval forces are when confronted
with such advanced weapons. It would represent a tremendous shock for
the US military, possibly the biggest shock since the end of WWII.
What would Trump and the generals in charge do? 


They would respond
with further bombardment of Russian forces, leaving themselves open
to a devastating Russian response. The conflict could escalate within
the space of a few minutes, leading to a situation where there could
be no possible winners.


The
normal reasoning I
employ when considering total annihilation is placed to one side when
US special forces deliver 20 tons of chlorine gas to Al Qaeda
terrorists in Syria order to execute a false flag for the purposes of
blaming Damascus and Moscow. If we connect this event to what is
currently happening in the United Kingdom, and the hysteria in the
United States surrounding alleged Russian hacking during the American
elections, we can understand just how much international relations
have deteriorated. This situation is reminiscent of Ukraine in 2015.
Ukrainian forces suffered repeated defeats at the hands of the
Donbass resistance, being contained in the thousands in different
“cauldrons.
Within NATO headquarters in Brussels during that time, there were
open discussion over sending a contingent to support Ukrainian
troops. The plan, however, was never realized, given the possibility
of direct confrontation in Ukraine between the Russian Federation and
NATO.


In
recent months, the possibility of a war on the Korean Peninsula has
also been evoked and perhaps simultaneously averted by the
unpredictable consequences for both Seoul and the American forces in
the region.


In
Syria, the approach of Washington and its diplomatic and military
emissaries seems more reckless and less tied to a chain of command
where the buck stops at the American president. It seems that the US
deep state in Syria has a greater and more hidden control over
American forces, sabotaging every agreement made between Moscow and
Washington. We saw this during the Obama presidency, where the US Air
Force bombed government
troops in Deir ez-Zor only a few hours after a ceasefire had been
reached between Lavrov and Secretary of State Kerry.


The
grave circumstance about which we write seem to be without precedent,
seeming as they do to lead towards a direct confrontation between
nuclear-armed powers. Alas, in such circumstances, we can only hope
for the best but prepare for the worst; we can only wait to read on
the mainstream media notifications of the latest chemical attack in
Syria. We can only hope that there is someone in Washington retaining
enough sense to factor in the devastating consequences of an attack
on Damascus and the Russian forces in the region.

Never
before has the region been on the verge of such an explosion as in
the next few hours — as a result of the typically reckless actions
of the United States.

Alle
tekenen wijzen naar een komend groot conflict >> het samenspannen van de VS en
haar (andere) slaafse westerse landen tegen Rusland, Syrië en Iran, plus
natuurlijk China en Noord-Korea, gesteund middels een enorme propaganda van de westerse media, zorgt ervoor dat er niet veel nodig is of we
zitten middenin WOIII…… Wat betreft China en Noord-Korea: daar
zijn nog geen officiële NAVO oefeningen gehouden, al zijn de spanningen er daar niet minder om…. (hoewel Australië, Nieuw-Zeeland en de Filipijnen natuurlijk ook een soort NAVO bondgenoot zijn*) Neem de alweer grote militaire oefening van Zuid-Korea en de
VS langs de grenzen en territoriale wateren van Noord-Korea……
Tijdens de Spelen kon de wereld even ademhalen en toenadering tussen
de 2 Korea’s was even een feit…..

De
Spelen zijn nog niet afgelopen of de VS kondigt aan dat de grote
jaarlijkse militaire oefening ‘gewoon’ doorgaat…..
Blijkbaar heeft de VS Moon Jae-in, de Zuid-Koreaanse president en de Zuid-Koreaanse regering dusdanig onder druk gezet dat men toestemde in het laten doorgaan van
die oefeningen, militaire oefeningen die de Noord-Koreanen al
decennia lang steken, maar waar vooral de VS niet van af wil zien…….. Tja,
zeg nu zelf, ‘wat is belangrijker’, een voor de winsten en macht van het militair-industrieel
complex en de macht van de VS te houden grootschalige militaire
oefening, of vrede?? Vrede is (blijkbaar) voor dombo’s……

Niet
alleen de agressie tegen landen als Syrië, Rusland, Iran, China en
Noord-Korea wijzen in de richting van WOIII, maar met de wisselingen
aan de top van de Trump administratie, kan het bijna niet anders of we stevenen af op een grootschalige oorlog……. De
ene psychopathische houwdegen van die administratie na de andere wordt op straat gezet, waarvoor in de plaats psychopaten worden ingezet die nog een fikse portie kwaadaardiger zijn……… De VS heeft zelfs gesteld dat een aanval met conventionele wapens (dus niet met kernwapens) op bevriende landen niet wordt uitgesloten, een aanval gericht op de bevolking en infrastructuur van die bevriende landen………

Shahtahmasebi noemt het niet in het volgende artikel, maar er ligt ook nog eens een enorme Himalaya aan VS schulden, het is dat de munt van de VS een internationaal betaalmiddel is en bijvoorbeeld de olieprijs in
dollars wordt uitgedrukt, anders zou het er wel eens heel anders uit
kunnen zien voor de VS en haar onafzienbare schuldenlast……

Vreemd
trouwens dat een land als China zulke enorme voorraden dollars heeft,
als dit land deze op de markt dumpt, kan de VS financieel
inpakken….. Dan blijft de vraag over wat goed is voor een land met enorme schulden? Juist,
oorlog!! Vandaar ook dat de geldpersen in de VS overuren maken…..
Het zou me trouwens niet verbazen als China de dollar niet eens durft
te dumpen als betaalmiddel (valuta om mee te investeren)……. Gezien
deze zaak zijn de agressieve woorden van Trump over een importheffing op Chinees
staal en aluminium nog vreemder…….. Blijkbaar wil hij
daarmee zeggen schijt te hebben aan China en haar enorme
dollarvoorraad………

Het
vorige voorbeeld is nog meer van belang, immers China en Rusland
hebben al een paar keer gesproken over een ander internationaal
betaalmiddel dan de dollar. Khadaffi wou de olie dollar inruilen voor
de gouden dinar, een munt waarvan de tegenwaarde altijd in goud
aanwezig zou zijn, één van de redenen voor de illegale oorlog van de
VS en haar oorlogshond NAVO tegen Libië…….. (de enorme goudvoorraad van Libië is tijdens de illegale oorlog van de VS en andere NAVO lidstaten tegen dit land ‘verdwenen….’)

Zo bezien is WOIII eigenlijk niet meer te ontwijken…….

(ANTIMEDIA Op-ed) — Though some have
been warning about
the catastrophic potential for a third global conflict for years, it
wasn’t until recently that
these warnings became more
mainstream.
The calamitous nature of the violence in Syria — which has one
nuclear power defending a government that has been the target of a
regime change operation led by the world’s superpower —
combined with 2017’s threats of “fire
and fury” against
another state intently pursuing a nuclear weapons supply of its own,
has pushed the issue
of a third world war directly
into the public
discourse.

While
certain hotspots throughout the Middle East, Asia, and Eastern Europe
(i.e. Ukraine)
have seen some notable escalations in the last few years, a direct
conflict between Russia and the United States is still yet to emerge.
That’s because the idea of a third world war in today’s world is
completely insane. If the two countries that currently possess the
world’s greatest supplies of nuclear weapons go to war, there
may not be a world left for
the victors to inhabit after the war is done, thereby making it an
unthinkable proposal.

Then
again, the U.S. did just recently bomb a significant
number of
Russian-linked forces in Syria, reportedly killing scores of them.
The targets of these air strikes were also predominantly
Iranian-backed militias (just
in case there weren’t enough state actors already involved in this
ongoing conflict).

Speaking
of Iran, Donald Trump recently fired Rex Tillerson as secretary of
state and immediately appointed CIA director Mike Pompeo to replace
him. Pompeo is a notable
anti-Iran hawk who
will almost certainly go further than Tillerson was ever
prepared to
go with regard to the Iranian nuclear accord, a deal Pompeo believes
is “disastrous.”

There
are also reports now emerging that Donald Trump is planning to
oust his national security advisor, General H.R. McMaster. McMaster
originally replaced anti-Iran war hawk Michael
Flynn,
but apparently, McMaster’s non-stop
allegations against
Iran were not
enough to please Trump.
McMaster was not on board with Trump’s attempt to completely derail
the Iranian nuclear deal.

One
should bear in mind that when Donald Trump made the decision to
strike the Syrian government in April of last year in what amounted
to one of the year’s most important and over-publicized
geopolitical events, it was McMaster who
drew up the strike plan options and presented them to Trump to choose
from. If this is a man not hawkish enough for Trump’s
administration, his looming removal from the administration is a
worrying sign of what’s to come.

Donald
Trump’s Nuclear
Posture Review entails
that, as Katrina vanden Heuvel noted in
an article published in the Washington
Post:

“The
United States reserves the right to unleash
nuclear weapons first in ‘extreme circumstances’ to defend the
‘vital interests’ not only of the United States but also of its
‘allies and partners’ — a total of some 30 countries. ‘Extreme
circumstances,’ the review states explicitly, include ‘significant
non-nuclear attacks,’ including conventional attacks on ‘allied
or partner civilian population or infrastructure.’ The
United States also maintains a ‘portion of
its nuclear forces’ on daily alert, with the option of launching
those forces ‘promptly.’ [emphasis
added]

Considering
that a former analyst for the Council on Foreign Relations, Micah
Zenko, just warned that
Pentagon officials are actively searching for a “big war” against
Russia and China, the trajectory we are currently on starts to make a
lot more sense.

In
other parts of the world, we are witnessing a new era of hostilities
towards Russia. The debacle taking place in the U.K. right now, which
has seen allegations of a Russian chemical attack on British soil,
has prompted the U.K., U.S., France, and Germany to band
together and
condemn Russia for something that hasn’t even been conclusively
investigated yet.

After
years of constantly being painted as the enemy, Russia
just declared via
Twitter that a “Cold War II” has begun, and who can blame them?

A
third world war might sound crazy, but it is only crazy if we fail to
understand the desperation that continues to plague the men in suits
who pull the strings guiding American foreign policy. Consider that
the Syrian government, with Russian and Iranian backing, has
managed to
stabilize significant parts of the country despite
all odds so that refugees can return home safely. It should be clear
that the best way to solve the Syrian crisis is to discontinue
America’s regime change policy in Syria and allow the people of
Syria to normalize their own lives without Washington’s
interference. Yet, after seven years of brutal violence, the U.S.
still refuses to admit defeat in Syria. If anything, the U.S. has now
officially set its sights on
directly combatting Iranian influence in
the country, raising the potential for significant escalations.

Maybe,
just maybe, the U.S. is that desperate. Apparently, the U.S. has to
remain in Syria out of necessity. It cannot afford to sit on the
sidelines as Russia re-emerges as the major power broker in the
region, eating up all the major contracts coming
out of Syria (together
with Iran) as it looks to poach American allies left, right, and
center.

Additionally,
Russia recently warned the U.S. that it will not tolerate
Washington’s aggressive attacks on the Syrian government and will
respond with strikes of their own should
the U.S. military threaten Russian personnel. One should expect that
eventually, there will be a point where Russia will no longer allow
these attacks to go unanswered.

As
America’s power and influence wane, the time will come for both
Russia and China to make their mark on the global stage. Just on a
side note, it should come as no surprise that Trump’s nominated
ambassador to Australia, Adm. Harry Harris, is a known anti-China war
hawk who recently warned
Congress to prepare for a war with China.

Why
should we need to prepare for a war with China? Who talks and thinks
like that? A nation on a slow and inevitable decline that cannot
refuse to admit defeat in almost any battle theater since World War
II, that’s who.

Realistically,
nobody wants a third world war, but as the U.S. increasingly
thrashes to maintain its control of the global financial markets, its
network of over 1,000 bases worldwide, and its status as the world’s
global policemen, a third world war may be Washington’s only hope
at staying afloat as the world’s top power.

anti-Rusland hysterie is ontoombaar, Rusland is agressief, dit vanwege haar nieuwe kernwapensysteem: eerst was er verontwaardiging over dit wapensysteem, toen begon men te vertellen dat Rusland dit systeem niet kan hebben en nu houden de reguliere westerse media en westerse politici dit wel ‘voor waar’*.  

Rusland
breidt agressief haar territorium uit (één grote leugen), Rusland is verantwoordelijk voor de Brexit (…. ha! ha! ha!), Rusland is verantwoordelijk voor de eis tot onafhankelijkheid van het Catalaanse volk….., Rusland is verantwoordelijk voor de gifgas aanval op Skripal en zijn dochter (alsof Rusland dit niet zou kunnen doen, zonder ook maar één spoor na te laten…..), kortom Rusland is verantwoordelijk voor een
groot deel van het kwaad en de ellende in het westen en het Midden-Oosten, althans als je de leugens van de reguliere
westerse media en het grootste deel van de westerse politici moet
geloven……

Hier

uitgelegd dat de werkelijkheid volkomen omgekeerd is en het westen
o.l.v. De VS de grote agressor is en bepaald niet alleen in Europa.
Zo heeft de VS Rusland en China omsingeld met meer dan 400 militaire

Nogal logisch dat Rusland zich probeert te wapenen tegen de VS agressie, de VS met haar oorlogshond NAVO aan de lijn….. De VS houdt zich immers nooit aan afspraken, zie Irak en Libië. Daarnaast staan de VS en de NAVO intussen op meer plekken aan de grens met Rusland, volkomen tegen de gemaakte afspraken in…… Bedenk daarbij dat de VS desnoods de ene na de andere illegale oorlog start en de wil van een land om zich op alle mogelijke manieren te verweren tegen de VS agressie, kan niet meer dan als normaal worden gezien…… 

De VS heeft meer dan 800 militaire bases over de wereld, vecht officieel in 3 landen een illegale oorlog uit, t.w.: Afghanistan, Irak en Syrië en vecht mee in minstens 2 oorlogen in Afrika, waar sinds eind vorig jaar (ik dacht vanaf oktober 2017) Nigeria aan toegevoegd kan worden…….

Dezelfde VS die vanaf WOII tot nu toe verantwoordelijk is voor meer dan 22 miljoen doden (ofwel: moorden), dit in illegale oorlogen, geheime militaire operaties (veelal onder regie van de CIA), standrechtelijke executies middels drones, via andere moordaanslagen (‘spionnen werk’), opstanden en waar deze laatsten gepland in moeten uitmonden: staatsgrepen….. (al kan dat ‘natuurlijk’ ook zonder opstand, door het militaire en politieapparaat van een land om te kopen…….) Voor al deze zaken is een stapel bewijzen, waar je steil van achteroverslaat…….

Presentator
in de volgende video is Mike Maloney, die o.a. wijst op het
raketschild van de VS in Roemenië, dat destijds (de video dateert van
2016) nog in aanbouw was, maar dat nu klaar zou moeten zijn (‘leuk’
dat de westerse media daar ook ‘zo uitgebreid over hebben bericht en berichten’, de
bouw van een ‘rakeschild’ op ‘schootsafstand’ van Moskou…..).

Vandaar dat men in de politiek en media nu weer met weerzin over deze zaak spreekt……

Turkse illegale inval Syrië gaat gepaard met etnische zuivering…….

Meerdere bronnen melden dat een ‘Syrisch’ arabische militie, die
deelneemt aan de illegale Turkse aanval op Koerden in de Syrische
grensstreek met Turkije, tekeergaat tegen de Koerden in veroverde
gebieden…… Alleen die illegale inval is al een enorme oorlogsmisdaad, daarbij komen de nu al grote hoeveelheden vermoorde burgers (o.a. door bombardementen), wat zonder meer kan worden aangemerkt als een misdaad tegen de menselijkheid….. Deze misdaden laten de reguliere media en het grootste deel van de politici in het westen koud….

De voor Turkije strijdende militie (door het westen aangeduid
als ‘gematigde rebellen’) noemt Koerden ongelovigen en dreigt hen te
vermoorden als ze zich niet bekeren tot de vorm van islam zoals
gepropageerd door IS en AL Qaida…… In het verleden hebben de sancties op het niet volgen van deze eis al geleid tot massamoorden op de plaatselijke/regionale burgerbevolking door deze terreurgroepen in Irak en Syrië…..

Niet vreemd dus dat Koerden massaal op
de vlucht slaan als het Turkse leger en deze terreurgroep in de buurt van hun woongebied
komen……. Volgens o.a. bronnen in Turkije zou men de ontvolkte gebieden
willen vullen met Turken en zo zou een etnische zuivering van dit Syrische gebied vervolmaakt worden……

Ach, hier heeft het westen geen tijd
voor, veel te druk met futiliteiten en herhalingen van de leugens over de strijd in
Oost-Ghouta…….. Bovendien is Turkije een NAVO lid en ‘die ga je niet voor de schenen schoppen……’ Schande!!

Tot slot nog eens (en n.a.v. het nieuws van 13.00 u. zojuist op WDR 5): de Koerdische groep YPG wordt door Turkije aangemerkt als oorzaak voor haar inval in Syrië, daar het een terreurorganisatie zou zijn. Echter de YPG heeft niet één keer een aanslag gepleegd in Turkije, een zaak die bekend is in het westen, maar ook daaraan besteden de reguliere media en politici in het westen geen aandacht……. Dit terwijl Turkije zoals te lezen was en in het recente verleden bewezen is, samenwerkt met echte terreurgroepen…….

Rusland schuldig verklaard voor aanslag op Skripal, echter onafhankelijke controle van ‘het bewijsmateriaal’ wordt geweigerd……

Gisteren werd 23 Russische diplomaten te verstaan gegeven dat zij Groot-Brittannië uitgezet zullen worden als vergelding voor de moordaanslag met ‘novitsjok’ (‘novichok’) op de Russische dubbelspion Sergei Skripal en zijn dochter….. Deze aanslag wordt o.l.v. Groot-Brittannie op het bord van de Russen geschoven, dit terwijl Skripal al langere tijd deel uitmaakte van een .netwerk van in te huren spionnen……. Je weet wel, mensen die worden ingehuurd om andere mensen om te leggen, dan wel ten schande te maken, het maakt niet uit, als het doelwit maar monddood wordt gemaakt, dan wel al diens bronnen vrijgeeft……

Gistermiddag de ex-KGB spion Jack Barsky (schreef het boek ‘Der Falsche Amerikaner: Ein Doppelleben als deutscher KGB-Spion in den USA’) op WDR 5. Hij stelde over deze gifmoord dat de CIA al lang over het zenuwgif beschikt dat gevonden zou zijn na de aanslag op Skripal en zijn dochter. Een gif dat in de 80er jaren werd ontwikkeld in de Sovjet-Unie, maar zoals deze benaming al aangeeft, dat was bepaald niet alleen Rusland, m.a.w. het gif ‘novitsjok’ kan net zo goed uit Oekraïne, Georgië of een ander (Midden-) Oost-Europees, nu zwaar anti-Russisch land komen……

Gezien de (ook recente) VS/CIA geschiedenis kan het hier heel goed om een zogenaamde false flag operatie gaan…… Een operatie om Rusland verder zwart te maken bij de westerse bevolkingen, zodat ze klaar worden gestoomd voor een ‘hete oorlog’ met Rusland…….. (zie wat dat betreft ook, wie er baat heeft bij deze aanslag, dat is op zeker niet Rusland, een land dat de laatste jaren juist laat zien meer diplomatie te gebruiken, dan het westen de afgelopen 30 jaar heeft laten zien…..*)

Afgelopen dinsdagmorgen op Radio1 Margriet Brandsma (na 9.30 u.), ze was te gast in het programma Spraakmakers, dat in werkelijkheid ‘Praatjesmakers’ genoemd zou moeten worden. Brandsma stelde dat Rusland zonder meer schuldig is aan de moordaanslag met een Sovjet zenuwgas. Niet dat daar de bewijzen voor zijn getoond aan deze ‘journalist’, maar gewoon omdat de Britse premier May heeft gezegd dat dit zo is en alle westerse oorlogshitser en Ruslandhaters herhalen haar met grote graagte…… (oorlogshitser en Ruslandhaters als de reguliere westerse massamedia en het grootste deel van de westerse politici) False flag operaties ‘bestaan tenslotte niet….’ Brandsma wist veel van Rusland aldus presentator Plag, daar zij correspondent was in Duitsland voor de NOS…… ha! ha! ha ha! ha! ha! Ja ‘geheel logisch!’

Een mail van een luisteraar werd gebagatelliseerd, een mail waarin die luisteraar stelde dat de NAVO geheel tegen de afspraken langs de Russische grens staat (daarmee zeggend dat het westen eerst eens naar zichzelf moet kijken als het om agressie gaat….).. Ach het domme presentatiewicht en haar gasten kunnen zich niet eens voorstellen wat er zou gebeuren als Rusland militaire oefeningen langs de Mexicaanse en VS grens zou houden, of als Rusland daar een ‘raketschild’ zou plaatsen (een raketschild dat in een mum van tijd kan worden omgevormd tot ‘een schild’ met nucleaire aanvalsraketten, zoals de VS die in de buurt van de Russische grens plaatste……)

Uiteraard wilde men daar niet op ingaan, nee, vooral niet wijzen naar de agressie van het westen en dan m.n. die van de VS en de NAVO….. Niets over de de door de VS en haar oorlogshond de NAVO verbroken overeenkomst met de destijds Sovjet president Gorbatsjov, een overeenkomst waarin de de VS en de NAVO beloofden geen Oost-Europese, ex-Sovjet republieken in te lijven bij de NAVO, waardoor de VS en de NAVO nu voor de grens van Rusland staan…… Gorbatsjov ging akkoord met de hereniging van de twee Duitslanden, juist op die voorwaarde…… (al jaren ontkent door het westen, ‘maar helaas’, de schriftelijke bewijzen liggen er intussen!)

Je snapt natuurlijk wel dat de hele mikmak weer voorbijkwam, Rusland is fout, Rusland heeft De Krim geannexeerd en met dit soort valse cliché’s werd Putin afgeschilderd als een duivel…… De Krim sloot zich aan bij Rusland na een referendum, een referendum dat door internationale waarnemers werd gecontroleerd en als goed en eerlijk werd beoordeeld! Of wat dacht je van de leugen dat het Russische leger in Oost-Oekraïne zou vechten voor de terecht in opstand gekomen bevolking (daar er een staatsgreep plaatsvond tegen de door hen democratisch gekozen regering..), zij wensten niet te leven onder een neonazi-regime (ingesteld door de VS)….. Als Rusland echt met haar leger in Oekraïne zou hebben gevochten, was Oekraïne al lang gezuiverd van neonazi’s en was er vrede geweest in dat land……

Geert Groot Koerkamp, al jaren Rusland correspondent deed ook nog een duit in de Radio1 propaganda zak en stelde zich achter de beschuldiging van Rusland voor de vergiftiging. Als je hem trouwens moet geloven, is Rusland bijna een dictatuur, terwijl hij gewoon zijn werk kan doen vanuit Rusland (wat bijvoorbeeld vanuit Turkije, NB een NAVO lidstaat, niet mogelijk is!)

Natuurlijk vergeleek Koerkamp deze vergiftiging met de Polonium vergiftiging in 2006 op Litvinenko…… Ook daar werd Rusland aangewezen als schuldige, terwijl daar in feite nooit hard bewijs voor werd getoond, ook destijds ging het om gif dat uit voormalige Sovjet republieken, of een VS laboratorium kan zijn gekomen…… Zoals eerder gezegd, vergeet daarnaast niet dat veel Russen zich in het buitenland onder meer bezig houden met (zware) misdaad en als je in dat milieu een verkeerde pas zet, heb je ook je doodvonnis getekend…… Maar nee, Koerkamp weet ‘gewoon’ dat Rusland goed is in dit soort moorden…… Waar slaat ‘t op???

De Britse premier May kwam met de beschuldiging aan het adres van Rusland, hoewel ze Rusland een eigen onderzoek en zelfs een onafhankelijk onderzoek naar het zenuwgif ontzegt……… Hoe kan je in godsnaam na een paar dagen al een ander land beschuldigen, zonder dat bekend is hoe het gif het land is binnengekomen, zonder echt ook maar één echte aanwijzing voor schuld te hebben, of de dader te hebben gearresteerd (of één van de daders, die het gas tegen Skripal gebruikten)……. Echter er is niets anders dan indirecte bewijzen, gebaseerd op van horen zeggen, aangevuld met aannames……. (oh ja, en het gas dat in de Sovjet-unie werd ontwikkeld, al mag dat dan, alweer zoals gezegd, niet onafhankelijk gecontroleerd worden……)

Het was gisteren al zo zot, dat de regering May stelde dat de vraag om een onafhankelijk onderzoek totaal overbodig is, waarom zouden haar woorden betwijfeld moeten worden…… ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Alsof de regering May nog nooit gelogen heeft….. ha! ha! ha! ha!

May roerde de oorlogstrom door te zeggen dat deze moordaanslag een aanslag op het Britse volk is…… Nogmaals zonder ook maar enig bewijs voor Russische bemoeienis……..

Gistermorgen was het de beurt aan de navigator van de internationale Putin – Trump politiek, de levend geworden BNR rollade Hammelburg, om voor de moordaanslag op Skripal zijn schuldig uit te spreken over Rusland….. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Alsof hij een rechter, officier van justitie, een chemische wapens expert en misdaaddeskundige in één is….. Hetzelfde was overigens het geval met de Groot-Brittannië correspondent Lia van Bekhoven, ook zij wist het zeker: Rusland is schuldig, logisch toch als hare inhumane neoliberale kwaadaardigheid, de Britse premier May het zegt??!!! Een ‘mens’ dat NB meermaals heeft gelogen en bewust zaken heeft verzwegen……

Overigens stelde Barsky op WDR 5 dat Rusland al lang niet meer over chemische wapens beschikt…. Ik moet toegeven dat dit zelfs voor mij een schok was, daar ik ervan overtuigd was dat Rusland deze, zoals de VS nog steeds heeft, echter Rusland schijnt op dat gebied voor te lopen op de VS (in het kader van het vernietigen van wapenvoorraden met dit soort kankerzooi)

Nee Rusland zal en moet als fout worden aangemerkt, zoals nu weer bij deze aanslag……. Weet niet meer wie, maar een Nederlandse correspondent, ik dacht Godfroid, voegde nog olie op het vuur toe door een grap te maken over Rusland dat zich ziet als slachtoffer voor alles wat in het westen fout gaat….. In werkelijkheid is dat toch echt zo, voorbeelden te over!! Zelfs de Brexit en de anti-democratische toestand in Spanje, waar het Catalaanse volk democratisch koos voor onafhankelijkheid, worden nu toegewezen aan Rusland…. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Zelfs hare D66 leeghoofdigheid Ollongren beticht Rusland van het manipuleren van zaken in Nederland, waar ze vervolgens geen voorbeelden kon en kan noemen…..

In het nieuws vandaag de mededeling van het Witte Huis dat de aanslag op Skripal en zijn dochter aangeeft dat Rusland maling heeft aan de internationale rechtsorde en de democratie probeert te ondermijnen……… ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Datzelfde Witte Huis is alleen deze eeuw al verantwoordelijk voor meer dan 2 miljoen doden (het grootste deel in Irak, meer dan 1,5 miljoen vermoorde mensen) en dat in illegale oorlogen, verder is dat ‘Huis’ verantwoordelijk voor staatsgrepen tegen democratisch gekozen regeringen, zoals in Oekraïne…

Opperploert en massamoordenaar Stoltenberg, het opperhoofd en topgraaier van de uiterst agressieve NAVO nam de gebeurtenis waar door nogmaals te stellen dat Oekraïne lid van de NAVO mag worden als het dat wil…… Oekraïne het land dat wordt bestuurd door een corrupte neonazi-junta, geparachuteerd door de VS…… Alsof de documenten die onlangs opdoken niet bestaan (documenten over het hiervoor genoemde akkoord waarin de VS en de NAVO beloven niet verder uit te breiden richting Moskou, dit in ruil voor hereniging van de twee Duitslanden)…….

* Barsky begon er niet over; maar wie heeft er voordeel bij deze moorden? Naast de VS (om het militair-industrieel complex met nog hogere winsten te voeren en het VS imperium verder uit te breiden), kom je toch echt uit bij Oost-Europese landen als Oekraïne, Hongarije, Polen, Georgië, Roemenië en de Baltische Staten, dit naast landen als Groot-Brittannië dat al een paar jaar lang bezig is met een zwaar anti-Russische propaganda campagne….. Al de genoemde landen (gesteund door het grootste deel van de westerse politici en de reguliere westerse massamedia) willen het ‘Russische gevaar’ voorgoed uitschakelen….. Dit kan alleen middels een oorlog en de grote drijfveer achter oorlogsvoering is nog steeds kapitalen binnen graaien voor het militair-industrieel complex, kapitalen veilig stellen ook op het gebied van voorraden aan olie, gas, andere grondstoffen en tot slot natuurlijk de eerder genoemde machtsuitoefening van de VS en haar slaafse oorlogshonden op sleutelposities in de wereld, zoals het beheersen van zeestraten enz…..
