Rusland zegt superieure kernwapens te hebben, nu komen de ‘deskundigen’ wel met de waarheid over het Russisch defensie budget……..

Ongelofelijk, maar alweer waar: nu Rusland zegt superieure kernwapens te hebben, komen de zogenaamde deskundigen plots met de waarheid over het Russische defensie budget vergeleken met dat van EU NAVO landen…….

De Russische claim aangaande de superieure kernwapens wordt als belachelijk afgewezen door deze deskundigen en terloops wijst men op het relatief lage defensiebudget van Rusland, vergeleken met dat van de EU NAVO lidstaten. Ofwel: het zou onmogelijk zijn om met zo’n budget dergelijke raketten te ontwikkelen (raketten die niet onderschept kunnen worden, daar ze op ‘supersonische snelheid’ vliegen).

Het defensiebudget van EU NAVO lidstaten, zou volgens deze deskundigen 4 keer zo groot zijn dan dat van Rusland…….. Oké dit was al lang bekend, maar werd nooit genoemd als men weer eens liep te zeiken over de lage bijdragen op defensiegebied van de EU NAVO lidstaten…..

Ongelofelijk dat deze angst- en haatzaaiers, zoals Wijninga van het Haags Centrum voor Strategische Studies (HCSS), eerder altijd de indruk wekten dat Rusland veel meer uitgaf aan defensie en men nu plotsklaps wel over dit aanzienlijk lagere budget begint……

Het lijkt me dan ook overduidelijk dat het ‘heren’ als Wijninga dun door de broek loopt….. Tja als je jarenlang hebt lopen liegen en keer op keer verhogingen van het defensiebudget hebt bepleit, is het wel bijzonder vreemd dat Rusland, ondanks dat (de VS alleen geeft al 7 keer meer uit aan defensie dan Rusland), superieure wapens weet te ontwikkelen……

Benieuwd of deze figuren durven te klagen bij hun broodmeesters van het militair-industrieel complex en de NAVO waar zij voor lobbyen…….. ‘Ik schat van niet……’

Oekraïne,
Moldavië en Georgië (3 corrupte boevenstaten) hebben besloten een oud
partnerschap te doen herleven, het zogenaamde GUAM-blok. Je hoeft
niet te vragen wie er op de achterhand bezig is geweest om e.e.a. voor
elkaar te krijgen >> juist: de VS!

Nu
de genoemde landen (nog) geen lid kunnen worden van de NAVO, zouden
deze landen (uiteraard zwaar gesteund door de grootste
terreurentiteit op aarde, de VS) samen een vuist kunnen maken tegen
‘Russische agressie……’ ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Als je nu ziet wie van de
genoemde landen het meest agressief is in haar buitenlandpolitiek, is
het de VS wel!!. 

Oekraïne dat
godbetert een smerige oorlog voert tegen eigen onderdanen, die niet
onder de door de VS geparachuteerde junta wensen te leven, mensen die
kwaad zijn daar de door hen democratisch gekozen president onterecht
werd afgezet, middels machinaties van de VS (Hillary Clinton maakte
daarvoor destijds zelfs 4 miljard dollar vrij…..)…….

Uiteraard
zal de VS allerhande militair materieel leveren en daar een paar
honderd militaire adviseurs aan toevoegen, zoals dit ‘land’ dit nu al doet in Oekraïne……….

het volgende artikel van Alex Gorka, op 6 maart gepubliceerd op
Strategic Culture Foundation (SCF), daarin vertelt Gorka o.a. over samenkomsten van deze landen (overigens met banden met andere landen, zoals die met Japan). Zo vond er op 2 maart jl. een conferentie van dit GUAM-blok plaats, waar een aantal bobo’s uit de VS natuurlijk niet konden ontbreken, zoals het uiterst rechtse geteisem van de Atlantic Council……. Je snapt dat er vooral veel anti-Russische propaganda werd gevoerd op deze bijeenkomst, niet op feiten gebaseerd, maar gemaakt om Rusland zo veel mogelijk zwart te maken en de eigen situatie te promoten en te legaliseren…… Je weet wel, wat betreft Oekraïne de zojuist genoemde smerige strijd tegen de eigen bevolking in het oosten van het land…… Overigens heeft Azerbeidzjan (de A uit GUAM) zich teruggetrokken uit dit verbond, juist vanwege de sterk anti-Russische propaganda op de laatste bijeenkomst, zodat er nu eigenlijk gesproken zou moeten worden van het GUM-blok. (zeer toepasselijk gezien het weg gummen van de eigen kwalijke acties)

All
over the world, public attention has been riveted on Russia’s
reemergence as a military superpower, now that President Vladimir
Putin has revealed his new weapon systems in his address
to the Federal Assembly on
March 2. The US ambitions to attain arms superiority have come to
naught. But its anti-Russian policy cannot be reduced to mere
attempts to achieve military supremacy. The countries of the former
Soviet Union have become a political battlefield, with the US and its
allies doing their best to decrease Russia’s influence.

With
America’s tacit approval, the GUAM bloc,
chaired this year by Moldova, is being revived. Last March, the prime
ministers of Georgia, Ukraine, Moldova, and Azerbaijan held a meeting
(Baku was represented by its deputy PM) in Kiev. It was the first
high level meeting since 2008. The cooperation agreement signed by
those foreign ministers last October mentions a free trade zone. The
GUAM organization is expected to hold a summit this June. Three of
its members – Ukraine, Moldova, and Georgia – act as tools for
advancing America’s interests in the region. With the blessing of
the US, they signed EU association agreements in 2014. The
2018 foreign-policy
priorities list drafted
by Moldova includes mention of the US, the Visegrad group, and Japan.
According to Chisinau, the countries of the former Soviet Union –
long-standing partners with which it shares historical ties – don’t
deserve such an honor.

The
speakers of parliament from these three countries took part in a
security conference in the Moldovan capital titled “Georgia,
Moldova and Ukraine: Eastern Partnership and Current Security
Challenges,”
which was held on March 2 and attended by about 150 senior officials
and experts from different countries. Of course US lawmakers and
pundits were among the participants. As usual, the Atlantic Council,
an American think tank that always supports neo-cons and anything
anti-Russian, could not miss the chance to kindle anti-Moscow
sentiments. Damon Wilson, its executive vice
president, announced that the US was carefully watching over
Moldova, Ukraine, and Georgia, claiming that they “wish to become
part of our family,” as he put
it.

The
parliamentary leaders seized the opportunity to issue a joint
statement condemning
Russia’s military presence in what they believe to be their
respective states’ territories. The document was published in
English to reflect the pro-Western tilt of the three-state group.
They are “concerned
profoundly”
over Russian troops in Moldova (1,000 troops and 500 peacekeepers
stationed in Transnistria) and what they call “occupation” and
“intervention” in some parts of Ukraine and Georgia.

As
usual, Moscow is blamed for supporting “separatist movements” and
other nefarious acts. The speaker of the Georgian parliament, Irakli
Kobakhidze, said an anti-Russian alliance is needed, because only if
they are united can these nations stand up to the “challenges”
coming from Moscow. “We need joint strategies to face Russia’s
aggression,” chimed in Andriy Parubiy, the speaker of the Ukrainian
Rada. To dispell any doubts about the new groups’ allegiance to
NATO, he emphasized that
“On this occasion I would like to speak of the threats faced not
only by our region, but also by the Euro-Atlantic zone.”

The
idea of reviving this alliance that was designed to counter Russia
has failed. Azerbaijan refused to take part in any conference with
such a clear anti-Russian agenda. That event demonstrated that there
is no unity on Russia within the ranks of GUAM. So, GUAM is actually
GUM – a group of three states that have been heavily influenced and
pressured by the Americans and which are being used to “contain”
Russia and forced to serve as NATO springboards.

These
three states could maintain friendly relationships with everyone and
stick to a neutral policy. Cooperation with the Eurasian Union could
benefit their economies. Good relations with Moscow would not hinder
their ties with the EU or other institutions or states, including the
US. They could simply refrain from taking sides and concentrate on
the well-being of their people. But no, they have chosen to adopt an
attitude that is hostile to Russia and join those who are
confrontational toward Moscow.

On
March 2 the three member states actually announced the creation of a
new anti-Russian alliance that will negatively affect the political
landscape in Eurasia. The immediate objective is to push Russia out
and pull the US in. Ukraine is a divided nation, plunged in crisis,
and unable to fight its own entrenched corruption. Moldova is facing
an election in the fall and the so-called pro-Russian forces are
predicted to win. In Georgia, the idea of NATO membership does not
have the support of the majority of the population, according
to a
recent poll. But the governments of these states are pushing the NATO
agenda. They coordinate their political activities in order to
counter Moscow in any way they can. For instance, they always vote
for Ukraine in the PACE*, strongly oppose the Nord Stream gas project (NS2),
and continue to move closer to NATO.

Moldova
has announced its decision to buy lethal weapons from NATO members.
Its government is
chomping at the bit to
join “Western institutions.” Ukraine is
home to a
US naval facility and
is scheduled to receive American lethal arms. Tbilisi is
pursuing a “more NATO in Georgia and more Georgia in NATO”
policy.

What
brings them together? All three states are
ruled by oligarchs who obstruct reforms. With
their economies in dire straits, the ruling elites promise their
people paradise if they join the EU and NATO and become good friends
of the US. Adopting an anti-Russia policy is their payment for
Western aid and support. Their own national interests and sovereignty
are being exchanged for crumbs dropped from the master’s table.

Anti-Russische propaganda, waarin Rusland verantwoordelijk wordt gesteld voor de protesten tegen VS pijpleiding projecten, ook al als onzin doorgeprikt

Niets
weerhoudt een groot deel van de VS ervan Rusland verantwoordelijk te
houden voor alles wat niet lukt, dan wel volkomen fout gaat en voor protesten in de VS tegen
pijpleidingen en het fracken voor schalie-olie- en schaliegaswinning….. Dat laatste: protesten tegen smerige projecten, is de laatste zaak die toegevoegd wordt aan de algemene westerse anti-Russische propaganda leugencarrousel….. 

Het wachten is op een volgend onderwerp dat wordt toegevoegd aan deze propaganda, te denken valt aan protesten tegen de algehele vernieuwde kernwapendoctrine, de inzet van het kernwapen als eerste aanvalswapen, althans als je daar nog mensen voor op straat krijgt…… (waar de VS zelfs een cyberaanval als reden voor die inzet ziet….)  De situatie nu is veel ernstiger dan die in de 70er en 80er jaren van de vorige eeuw, terwijl er toen miljoenen mensen de straat op gingen tegen kernwapens, is er nu zelfs geen aanzet tot het organiseren van (wereldwijde) demonstraties…..

Nu
worden dus ook de anti-pijpleiding protesten van de laatste paar jaar in de VS toegeschreven aan Rusland……… Zelfs hare kwaadaardigheid Hillary
Clinton, die het gore lef heeft zich af te schilderen als
milieubewust, durfde Rusland als verantwoordelijke voor de protesten
aan te wijzen……..

Russia Didn’t Use Propaganda on Social Media to Incite US Pipeline
Protests

(SP Op-ed) — A
“staff report” from Republicans on the United States House
Science, Space, and Technology Committee offers little evidence to
prove allegations of Russian efforts to influence U.S. energy markets
through “social media propaganda” to incite pipeline protests.

Nonetheless, the
report,
pushed by Republican chairman Representative Lamar Smith, went
virtually unquestioned when it was covered by U.S. media.

What
the report reveals are several Twitter and Instagram posts that
Republicans claim were posted by “Russian agents” linked to the
Internet Research Agency (IRA), the troll farm which has become a
focus of narratives that Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential
election.

The
report recycles unsubstantiated news reporting that strongly
suggested the Russian government was behind anti-fracking activism in
the U.S. It contends these posts and tweets demonstrate the “broad
nature of Russia’s meddling and to reveal Russia’s attempts to
deceive and influence the American public, especially as related to
domestic energy issues.”

“Between
2015 and 2017, there were an estimated 9,097 Russian posts or tweets
regarding U.S. energy policy or a current energy event on Twitter,
Facebook and Instagram,” according to the report. “Between 2015
and 2017, there were an estimated 4,334 IRA accounts across Twitter,
Facebook and Instagram.”

To
understand how these numbers are incredibly minuscule, there are
about 95 million posts to Instagram per day and 800 million or more
users, as of September 2017. About 500,000 comments, 293,000 status
updates, and 136,000 photos are posted to Facebook daily. There are
over 2 billion active users on Facebook. On Twitter, about 500
million or more tweets are posted each day. There are 330 million
active monthly users.

House
Republicans did not break down the number of IRA accounts by
platform. But if the 4,334 accounts were all Twitter accounts, it
would mean the number of active Russian accounts represented less
than 0.0013 percent of Twitter users. That percentage would be much
smaller for Facebook and Instagram.

As
for reported posts and tweets, because Republicans are pulling from
contents that appeared between 2015 and 2017, they are essentially
revealing an average of 3,000 or so posts and tweets appeared each
year.

What
is 3,000 out of the 95 million posts to Instagram? What is 3,000 out
of the hundreds of thousands of comments and updates to Facebook?
What is 3,000 out of 500 million or more tweets?

These
are smaller than microscopic numbers. They barely can be said to
represent a broad influence campaign by Russia to undermine U.S.
fossil fuel industries and incite opposition to American “energy
independence.”

The
“Russian tweets” are not even disinformation. They mostly appear
to be messages containing advocacy from Senator Bernie Sanders,
presidential candidate in the 2016 election, and his supporters. For
example:

These
tweets reference the health impact of natural gas fracking. They
mention the link between earthquakes and fracking. They note
political efforts to ban fracking through state ballot initiatives.
What they do not do is promote disinformation, such as falsehoods
about the fossil fuel industry.

The
report continues a blatant agenda by Republicans to discredit climate
activism against oil and gas pipelines. It even argues Russians are
trying to make “useful idiots” of “unwitting
environmental groups and activists in furtherance of its energy
influence operations.”

In
July 2017, Smith and Republican Representative Randy
Weber urged Treasury
Secretary Steven Mnuchin to “investigate whether the Kremlin [was]
bankrolling green campaigns against the fracking technology that
helped the U.S. overtake Russia in gas production.”

But
as POLITICO noted, “Allegations have circulated for years that
Moscow has sought to discourage European countries from developing
their own natural gas supplies as an alternative to Russian fuel. And
conservatives have sought to extend those concerns to the U.S.—though
there’s little but innuendo to base them on.”

A
surge in activism against pipeline projects, especially as the
impacts of climate change intensify, has brought pressure to fossil
fuel industry interests. Smith is one of the industry’s most ardent
defenders. He even publicly contends climate change is still subject
to debate when it is settled science.

An
Inside Climate News report details how
the fossil fuel industry is a major contributor to science committee
members. It donated $8 million from 2006 to 2016, making it the
leading source of “industry political action committee money.”
The oil and gas industry  is one of Smith’s biggest
contributors, “with $764,000 in donations over the course of his
career in Congress.”

Smith
frequently alleges charges of “secret science” against government
agencies that seek to regulate coal-fired power plants, oil
refineries, and energy pollution in general. He engages in the very
kind of efforts to provoke discord and disruption that the House
science committee report condemns. It is all to manufacture doubt in
order to tie up policy deliberations in debate so they do not affect
companies’ profits.

While
this report is clearly rubbish, Democrats have not said anything to
challenge the allegations. Perhaps, this is because they are fully
invested in the narrative that Russia is meddling in all parts of
American discourse on social media.

Smith
invokes the bipartisan consensus on “Russian manipulation.”
Democratic Senator Ben Cardin recently published a report that
stated, “According to NATO officials, Russian intelligence agencies
also reportedly provide covert support to European environmental
groups to campaign against fracking for natural gas,
thereby keeping the EU more dependent on Russian supplies. A study by
the Wilfried Martens Center for European Studies reports that the
Russian government has invested $95 million in NGOs that seek to
persuade EU governments to end shale gas exploration.”

During
a tinePublic speech in
2014, former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton accused
“phony environmental groups” that she believes are funded by the
Russians of being responsible for the opposition to oil pipelines and
natural gas fracking. “I’m a big environmentalist, but these were
funded by the Russians to stand against any effort, oh that pipeline,
that fracking, that whatever will be a problem for you, and a lot of
the money supporting that message was coming from Russia.”

Much
of the notion among conservatives that U.S. climate activism is
funded by Russia stems from a report by a front group, the
Environmental Policy Alliance, operated by Berman & Co., which is
run by Rick Berman.

Berman
is known for attacks against
Mothers Against Drunk Driving. He also has defended Big Tobacco from
anti-smoking campaigns. He previously boasted,
“If the oil and gas industry wants to prevent its opponents from
slowing its efforts to drill in more places, it must be prepared to
employ tactics like digging up embarrassing tidbits about
environmentalists and liberal celebrities” and urged industry
executives “to exploit emotions like fear, greed and anger and turn
them against the environmental groups.”

Part
of Berman’s efforts to exploit emotions involved accusing U.S.
environmental organization of accepting money from the Sea Change
Foundation, which allegedly accepted funds from a Bermuda-based
company called Klein Limited with executives tied to Russian oil and
gas companies.

“We
double-check confirmed that the origin of the funds we’re getting
from Sea Change is through a donor, not from Russia,” Melinda
Pierce, Sierra Club’s legislative director, declared.
“It’s a private U.S. citizen who cares about climate change and
has invested in the kind of work that the Sierra Club does to move us
off dirty energy to clean energy.”

This
campaign to smear U.S. environmental organizations as agents of the
Russian oil and gas industry was picked up by Republicans. It
influenced a 2014 report,
“The Chain of Environmental Command: How a Club of Billionaires and
Their Foundations Control the Environmental Movement and Obama’s
EPA.”

Back
then, it was innuendo and unsubstantiated claims intended to help the
industry defend itself against pipeline activists. It remains
industry-driven propaganda.

The
only difference now is that the current political climate embraces a
bipartisan consensus that Russians will stop at nothing to sow
discord. Democrats do not see conservative political action
committees and right-wing industry front groups as responsible for
political turmoil over issues mired in contentious debate. They see
Russians, and even if they do not deny the reality of climate change,
that leaves U.S. policy vulnerable to actions that are aimed at
protecting fossil fuel companies and drowning out protest from
citizens concerned about climate change.

Gistermiddag na 17.00 u. op BNR, de buitenland ‘navigator’ van die zender, Bernard Hammelburg, plus ‘hoogleraar’ Noord-Korea studies, Remco Breuker over de toenadering tussen de 2 Korea’s.

Ter sprak kwam het bericht dat deze landen kunnen leven met een kernwapenvrij schiereiland…..

Neem aan dat ze in Noord-Korea niet helemaal dom zijn en begrijpen dat de VS op meer bases in de buurt kernwapens heeft en die zelfs vanuit de Zuid-Chinese zee kan afvuren op doelen in Noord-Korea…. Het zal dan ook wel ‘een verminkt bericht’ zijn dat naar buiten is gekomen’.

Neemt niet weg dat de Noord-Koreaanse president en Kim Yung-un en zijn Zuid-Koreaanse collega Moon Jae-inde banden stevig hebben aangehaald en zelfs overleggen, zonder dat de VS daarbij aanwezig is….. ‘Niet zo vreemd’ daar de VS heeft aangegeven alleen met Noord-Korea te willen praten als dit land eerst voldoet aan de eisen van het duistere imperium dat zich VS noemt, voordat het over die eisen mag onderhandelen met de VS……… ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!

Volgens Breuker is dit alles aan de sancties van Trump te danken……… ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Voor zo’n gedachtekronkel moet je echt bij ‘hoogleraar’ Breuker zijn. Alle initiatieven om tot vrede te komen werden zonder de VS gedaan en nu zou het Noord-Koreaanse bewind ineens overstag gaan door nieuwe sancties, die amper iets toevoegden aan de eerdere sancties……. Volgens Hammelburg en Breuker controleert de VS elk schip dat richting Noord-Korea gaat; beetje dom daar die schepen gewoon in de territoriale wateren van China kunnen varen, waar de VS vooralsnog geen toegang heeft…….

Uiteraard stelden de twee dat Noord-Korea een groot aantal kernraketten heeft, terwijl dit maar zeer de vraag is, immers tot nu toe is zelfs niet bewezen dat N-K een werkende atoombom heeft, daar er nooit melding is gemaakt van nucleaire straling boven de plek waar Noord-Korea haar ondergrondse kernproeven heeft uitgevoerd. Die straling is tot een aantal dagen na de kernproef bovengronds te meten, ook door satellieten. De aardbeving die door een kernexplosie wordt veroorzaakt, kan ook met grote hoeveelheden springstof worden opgewekt………

Mensen het viel me mee dat Hammelburg erkende, dat hij en de rest van de reguliere westerse media fout zaten wat betreft de toenadering die o.a. opgang kwam n.a.v. de Olympische Spelen in Zuid-Korea, immers men keek er alleen maar heel cynisch naar….. (sterker nog: men sprak van een charme offensief, zo bleef het toch nog binnen leger terminologie….)

Opvallend ook dat de buitenland navigator van BNR en een hoogleraar dit niet hadden zien aankomen, immers zij moeten op de hoogte zijn geweest van de al veel eerdere toenadering tussen de 2 Korea’s, dit al ver voor de Olympische Spelen, ook zouden zij op de hoogte moeten zijn geweest van de meervoudige weigering van de VS om met N-K te spreken, als N-K niet eerst aan een aantal eisen had voldaan……. Ach, deze navigator van buitenlandpolitiek en ‘hoogleraar’ zijn er dan ook vooral om de VS te steunen in de grootschalige terreur die het elders uitoefent en te verdedigen tegen terechte kritiek op het meer dan moorddadige buitenlandbeleid………….

PS: wat moet de universiteit van Leiden met een hoogleraar die ofwel niet op de hoogte is van een groot aantal feiten, dan wel deze feiten verzwijgt………..

Shock & Awe: 15 jaar geleden begon de (illegale) oorlog tegen Irak, dezelfde weg wordt weer gevolgd door de VS (en de massamedia)……..

geleden begon de regering van George W. Bush de oorlog tegen Irak.
Geheel op leugens gebaseerd was dit de aanzet tot een illegale oorlog
die intussen aan meer dan 1,5 miljoen burgers het leven heeft gekost.

Deze
oorlog was niet mogelijk geweest, als de reguliere (massa-) media
niet de leugens van de Bush administratie hadden overgenomen en dat op de
voorpagina’s en prominent in nieuws en actualiteiten uitzendingen, of dat nu op de
radio of tv was. De term ‘fake news’ bestond destijds nog niet, maar
werd wel degelijk op grote schaal gemaakt door de hiervoor genoemde
media. Vergeet niet dat meerdere deskundigen en wapeninspecteurs van
de VN, zoals Blix, keer op keer stelden dat Irak niet meer in het
bezit was van massavernietigingswapens…….

Het
volgende artikel gaat Ron Paul dieper in op alle gevolgen van
deze illegale oorlog die de VS 15 jaar geleden begon. Voorts noemt
hij het huidige tromgeroffel o.l.v. De VS tegen Noord-Korea, waar
senator Graham een paar dagen geleden stelde dat een paar miljoen
doden geen probleem zijn, als met een oorlog tegen dit land ‘stabiliteit’ in de regio wordt bereikt………..

Jammer
dat Paul niet alle andere oorlogsdreigingen van VS en NAVO zijde noemt, zoals een dreigende oorlog tegen Syrië, Iran en Libanon (deze o.l.v. Israël met steun van de VS), waar
nog Oekraïne aan toegevoegd kan worden, daar de VS daar niet alleen
meer ‘militaire adviseurs’, maar ook zware wapens levert aan dit intussen zo
goed als failliete land. Dit nog buiten alle militaire oefeningen
langs de Russische grens, waar de VS in feite oefent op een oorlog
tegen Rusland……. 

Hetzelfde geldt voor China, waar de VS dit land voor een groot deel heeft omringd met militaire bases en waar de Trump administratie dit land meer en meer met militair geweld bedreigt (zoals over de eilandjes die China claimt in de Zuid-Chinese Zee…)…….

Paul: 15 Years After the US Invaded Iraq, It’s Time to Listen to
the Iraqi People

month marks the 15th anniversary of the US war on Iraq. The “shock
and awe” attack was launched based on “stove-piped”
intelligence fed from the CIA and Pentagon through an uncritical and
compliant US mainstream media. The US media was a willing accomplice
to this crime of aggression committed by the George W. Bush
Administration.

Despite
the lies we were constantly bombarded with, Iraq never presented a
threat to the United States. Iraq never had the weapons of mass
destruction that the neocons used to frighten Americans into
supporting the war. How many of them knew all along that there were
no WMDs? We’ll never know. Attacking Iraq and overthrowing its
leader was long a plan in the neocon playbook and they used the 9/11
attack on the US as an excuse to pull the plan off the shelf and put
it into action.

The
US “regime change” war on Iraq has directly resulted in the death
of at least a quarter of a million civilians, and indirectly perhaps
a million Iraqis have been killed. The Iraqi infrastructure was
destroyed and the country was set back many decades in development.
Far from the democratization we were promised, Iraq has been turned
into a hell on earth. Due to the US use of depleted uranium and other
chemical weapons like white phosphorus, Iraqis will continue to
suffer from birth defects and other related illnesses for
generations.

How
did we get there? War propaganda was essential in paving the way for
the Iraq war. Americans are generally skeptical about launching new
wars, so it takes a steady media bombardment about the alleged
depravities of any targeted regime before public opinion begins to
shift in favor of war.

Because
the neocons who helped launch the war have never had to face the
consequences of their actions, they continue to promote war with
impunity. Just this past week, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) was pushing
for a US attack on North Korea in which millions may be killed. He
said this weekend, “All the damage that would come from a war would
be worth it in terms of long-term stability and national security.”
That’s just what they said before the US attacked Iraq, and how did
that turn out? I find it disgusting that the media continues to give
airtime almost exclusively to those who promote more US disasters
like Iraq.

The
Iraqi parliament did something extraordinary last week. A majority of
elected Iraqi representatives voted to demand that their prime
minister draw up a timetable for the withdrawal of US troops from the
country. President Obama had withdrawn US troops from Iraq in 2011,
after a status of forces agreement could not be reached with the
Iraqi government, but he returned the US military to Iraq under the
auspices of fighting ISIS.

We
had no business going into Iraq in the first place and we have no
business remaining in Iraq. Al-Qaeda and ISIS emerged in Iraq because
our attack and occupation of the country 15 years ago created fertile
fields for extremism. Nothing will be achieved if we remain. Let’s
listen to the Iraqis and just come home!

NAVO ‘des donders’ over Putins jaarlijkse toespraak in het parlement……

In
de jaarlijkse toespraak in het Russische parlement over de staat van
het land, noemde Putin o.a. een nieuw ontwikkelde kernraket, die niet
tegen kan worden gehouden door anti-raket systemen. Hij had dit nog
niet gezegd of de de hypocriete politiek in het westen stond op de
kop, de NAVO en de leden van de lidstaten kwamen met een storm van
protest en noemden zijn verklaring onacceptabel………

Macron,
de Franse president, Merkel, de Duitse premier en VS president Trump,
lieten weten daar zeer bezorgd over te zijn en vragen zich af wat de rede van Putin betekent
voor de wapenbeheersing…… ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Waar haalt dit geteisem
het lef vandaan om nog over wapenbeheersing te durven spreken? Nog in 2016 durfden de VS en Groot-Brittannië te
stellen dat ze het bij een eerste aanval (een aanzet tot oorlog tegen een ander land, Ap) in het
vervolg mogelijk achten, meteen kernwapens in te zetten….. Daarnaast was
de VS al onder Obama bezig met de vernieuwing van de kernwapens en de
ontwikkeling van nieuwe kernwapens……. In Groot-Brittannie is de regering May bezig met de modernisering van de kernwapens……

Daarnaast
heeft de NAVO zich uitgebreid tot voor de westgrens van Rusland, dit
volkomen in tegenspraak met akkoorden die de voormalige Sovjet president Gorbatsjov maakte met het westen….. Zo ging Rusland
bijvoorbeeld akkoord met de eenwording van Duitsland, als de NAVO
zich niet uit zou breiden richting Moskou……..

Het
meest hypocriet van al is wel dat Trump in zijn ‘State of the Union’
bekend maakte dat de VS het beste en grootste kernwapenarsenaal aan
het ontwikkelen is, waarbij de VS zelfs een aanval met kernwapens als reactie op een cyberaanval niet uitsluit……. Waar waren de
westerse politici en de reguliere westerse (massa-) media met hun
verontrustte kritiek op de woorden van Trump..??!!!

Russian
President Vladimir Putin’s state of the nation address on Thursday
came with a surprising amount of rhetoric about the development of
the Russian Federation’s nuclear arsenal, and their ability to
evade US missile defense systems.

This
has resulted in a flurry of statements Friday from NATO and its
member nations saying Putin’s statement was “unacceptable,”
and that it was counterproductive to efforts to shore up arms control
agreements.

President
Trump, along with French President Emmanuel Macron and German
Chancellor Angela Merkel all spoke Friday about the
matter, expressing “serious
concerns”
about what Putin had said, and its impact on arms control.

Yet
all these attempts by the West
to position themselves as favoring arms control, and
Putin undermining it are a dramatic revision of the past several
years, which have seen the US repeatedly threatening to withdraw from
such deals on the basis of perceived Russian violations.

Indeed,
the Putin statement came just on the heels of President Trump’s own
public statements vowing to dramatically grow the US nuclear arsenal
in the name of having a superior arsenal to the Russians, with talk
of efforts at lower yield, more usable nuclear arms, and bringing US
nukes to bare in retaliation for things like cyber-attacks.

BBC: the Taliban is at war with the government for 16 years…….

Vanmiddag in het 12.00 u. (CET) radionieuws op BBC World Service, durfde de redactie de volgende zin wel aan*: “The Taliban is at war with the government for 16 years….”

Met andere woorden: de VS is Afghanistan ‘niet’ illegaal binnengevallen en voert daar ‘niet’ met hulp van NAVO landen (waaronder Nederland en Groot-Brittannië) een hopeloze, gewelddadige illegale oorlog tegen de Taliban…….

En dan durft men bij de BBC bijna dagelijks te spreken over het verfoeilijke ‘fake news’ op de sociale media (of ‘nepnieuws’, wat je wilt)……..

Ach ja, als de zogenaamd onafhankelijke BBC inderdaad zou stellen dat de VS met hulp van GB, middels een groot aantal oorlogsmisdaden, meer dan honderdduizend mensen heeft vermoord, terwijl er in feite niets is bereikt, zou ze daarmee haar broodheer, de Britse regering, voor de schenen schoppen…… Oh ik vergis me, er zijn wel degelijk ‘waanzinnige resultaten’: naast een enorm aantal doden, is de de opium productie door deze illegale oorlog van de VS/NAVO, tot recordhoogten gestegen……. (en is de Taliban machtiger dan ooit..)

* Dit n.a.v. het voorstel van Ghani, de corrupte president van Kabul, die wil overleggen met de Taliban, terwijl hij dit eerder afwees.

Eén ding is zeker: als de Taliban een politieke partij zou worden, zoals de Afghaanse president Ashraf Ghani wil, hebben de Nederlandse politietrainers in Kunduz, mannen opgeleid voor de religieuze politie in die provincie…… ‘Echt weer iets om trots op te zijn’, een feit om op te nemen in de Nederlandse geschiedenis ‘Canon!!’

Washington uit op oorlog met Iran……

De
Trump administratie wil hoe dan ook de ‘Iran nuclear deal’ de nek
omdraaien en eist van de andere deelnemers, vooral die in de EU
dezelfde houding, zonder dat deze administratie daar over wil
discussiëren……….

De
VS wil ‘opnieuw onderhandelen’ over deze overeenkomst met Iran, met
daarin bepalingen waarvan men weet dat Iran hier niet mee akkoord kan
en zal gaan…….

‘Uiteraard’
komt de Trump administratie met het versleten cliché over de Iraanse ongebreidelde agressie….. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Een gevalletje de
pot verwijt een piepklein keteltje dat het zwart ziet, waarbij
opgemerkt moet worden dat de VS kleurenblind is (behalve als het om
de repressie tegen de gekleurde bevolking in de VS gaat)……..

Als
er een ‘land’ is dat ongebreidelde agressie gebruikt, is het de VS
wel! Alleen deze eeuw al 4 illegale oorlogen en de regie over een
paar (illegale) oorlogen in Afrika……. Dit nog buiten de door
Washington op poten gezette opstanden die tot een coup hebben geleid
en als dit niet lukte alsnog uitmonden in een (illegale) oorlog, zoals in Syrië,
waar de VS al vanaf 2006 bezig was met het opzetten van een opstand
(die tot een coup moest leiden)……

Kortom
de Trump administratie is bezig met de voorbereiding op een oorlog
tegen Iran (waarvoor de nucleaire leugen tegen Iran overigens maar één
van de ‘redenen’ is…..)…. Het is maar zeer de vraag of Rusland
en China zich afzijdig zullen houden, mocht de VS een illegale oorlog
tegen Iran beginnen….. Als dit niet het geval zal zijn, is een in
volle omvang uitbarsten van WOIII bijzonder dichtbij……

Hoe
is het mogelijk dat men in het westen in de 60er, 70er en 80er jaren
massaal in opstand kwam tegen de terreur van de VS, waar ook toen een
nucleaire oorlog meermaals in de lucht hing, waar men nu doodstil is en de
VS haar gang laat gaan…??? Terwijl het gevaar op een nucleaire
oorlog nu veel groter is dan destijds, immers de VS (en
Groot-Brittannië) spreken nu openlijk over het inzetten van nucleaire
wapens bij een militair conflict, sterker nog: de Trump administratie
dreigt zelfs met nucleaire vergelding als ‘een land’ (Rusland, China
en Noord-Korea) mocht beslissen een ‘cyberaanval’ te beginnen tegen
de VS……. ‘Cyberaanvallen’ zoals de zogenaamde manipulatie van de
VS presidentsverkiezingen, waarvoor tot op heden geen enkel steekhoudend
bewijs is geleverd, maar waar wel een enorm aantal bewijzen liggen voor dit soort van handelingen door de VS zelf in andere landen!!

Washington
Delivers New Ultimatum On Iran

Clearing House” – The US State Department has
issued a fresh ultimatum on the Iran nuclear deal to Washington’s
ostensible major allies in Europe, demanding that Germany, Britain
and France commit themselves to altering the agreement along the
lines demanded by President Donald Trump or face its unilateral
abrogation by the US.


A
secret State Department cable obtained by Reuters presents what are
essentially the same demands made by Trump last January. At that
time, he announced that he was prepared to relaunch all-out US
economic warfare against Iran unless the European powers joined
Washington in imposing a rewritten nuclear accord on Tehran,
including provisions that the Iranian government cannot and will not
accept.


The
occasion for Trump’s threat was his reluctant announcement on
January 12 that he had decided to waive the reimposition of US
sanctions that were lifted as part of the nuclear agreement, formally
known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). He vowed
that this would be the last time he issued such a waiver, unless his
conditions were met. The next deadline for waiving the sanctions is
May 12.


The
message from the State Department to the European powers asks for
their “commitment that we should work together to seek a
supplemental or follow-on agreement that addresses Iran’s
development or testing long-range missiles, ensures strong IAEA
inspections, and fixes the flaws of the ‘sunset clause.’”


Washington
has demanded that Iran grant International Atomic Energy Agency
inspectors immediate and unlimited access to any site in the country,
including military bases; the elimination of “sunset clauses” in
the JCPOA, making time-limited restrictions on aspects of Iran’s
civil nuclear program permanent; and drastically limiting, if not
outlawing, Iran’s ballistic missile program.


While
presented by Reuters and other media as a softening of the position
outlined by Trump in January, the cable makes it clear that the US is
continuing to present its nominal allies in Europe with an ultimatum.



“In
the absence of a clear commitment from your side to address these
issues, the United States will not again waive sanctions in order to
stay in the Iran nuclear deal. If at any time the President judges
that such commitment is not within reach, the President indicated he
would end US participation in the deal.”


The
cable’s “talking points” for US diplomats to advance
Washington’s agenda in Europe stress “the Trump administration’s
strategy to counter the Iranian regime’s reckless aggression,”
which “addresses the full range of Iranian threats, of which Iran’s
nuclear program is only one element.”


The
clear implication is that Washington is embarked on a trajectory of
war with Iran, either with or without the collaboration of its NATO
allies in Berlin, London and Paris. Should they join with the US in
ripping up the nuclear accord, it will set them on a collision course
not only with Iran, but also with Russia and China, the two other
signatories to the JCPOA.


The
US has spelled out its own intentions in the Trump administration’s
recent National Security Strategy, lumping Iran together with North
Korea under the category of “rogue states” that represent a
threat to US “national interests” and are to be confronted and
defeated.


None
of the European powers responded directly to the US cable, which the
State Department itself refused to discuss. Asked about the US
demands in an online media briefing, the French Foreign Ministry
declared: “The French position on the Iran nuclear deal is known.
As the President of the Republic [Emmanuel Macron] has said, we
reaffirm our full attachment to the global action plan and its strict
implementation.” It added that Paris would “continue to talk
about the Iran nuclear program with our European and American
partners.”


The
European powers are pursuing their own imperialist interests in the
Middle East and are increasingly at odds with US interests and
strategies. The lifting of sanctions against Iran was greeted by
European corporations as an opportunity to generate a fresh stream of
profits through billions of dollars in new investments and trade
deals. Many of these plans remain unfulfilled because of concerns
that the US will target companies with unilateral sanctions, and that
their investments could go up in smoke in the event of a new and
catastrophic US war in the Middle East.


While
hostile to Iran’s growing influence in the region, the European
powers are increasingly alarmed at the prospect that Washington’s
strategy of forging a regional anti-Iranian alliance with Israel and
Saudi Arabia, together with the other Sunni Gulf oil sheikdoms, will
produce a military confrontation that could cut off oil supplies upon
which Europe depends and unleash a political and refugee crisis that
will spill onto the continent.


Washington
has issued its latest ultimatum in the midst of an explosive
escalation of regional tensions, driven in the main by US and Israeli
aggression. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spelled out Tel
Aviv’s aggressive stance against Iran in a bellicose speech to the
Munich Security Conference on Sunday. Holding up what he claimed was
a piece of an Iranian drone shot down over Israeli-occupied Syrian
territory in the Golan Heights, he denounced Iran as “the greatest
threat to the world,” equating it with Nazi Germany.



“We
will act without hesitation to defend ourselves, and we will act if
necessary not just against Iran’s proxies that are attacking us,
but against Iran itself,” said Netanyahu, in a clear threat to
attack Iran, an action that his government would undertake only with
US backing.

Israel
responded to the alleged overflight of the drone, which Tehran
insists was launched by independent Syrian militia elements in Syria,
by targeting Iranian personnel in Syria with air strikes. Syrian air
defense units succeeded in shooting down an Israeli F-16 fighter jet,
the first such loss for the Israeli Air Force since the early 1980s.

Speaking
in response to Netanyahu at the Munich conference, Mohammad Javad
Zarif, the Iranian foreign minister, attributed the frenzied tone of
Netanyahu’s speech to the downing of the warplane. “The so-called
invincibility of [Israel] has crumbled,” he said.

The
US military and intelligence apparatus and its loyal stenographers in
the US corporate media are churning out continuous war propaganda
against Iran.

Speaking
at the Munich Security Conference on Saturday, US national security
advisor Gen. H.R. McMaster declared it was necessary to “act
against Iran,” which he accused of arming a “network of proxies”
that is “becoming more and more capable as Iran seeds more and
more…destructive weapons into these networks.”


The New
York Times published
a lengthy piece Monday based on interviews with Israeli military
officers and government officials along with representatives of US,
Israeli and Saudi-funded think tanks alleging that Iran is “creating
an infrastructure [in Syria] to threaten Israel.” Needless to say,
the article made no mention of Israel’s own funding and aid for
Sunni Islamist militias attacking the Syrian government of President
Bashar al-Assad.


The
same issue of the Times carried
an opinion piece by US ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley
claiming, falsely, that a report issued by the United Nations proved
that Iran has shipped missiles to the Houthi rebels in Yemen to fire
at Saudi Arabia. The actual report found that “remnants” of the
missiles were of Iranian origin, while providing no evidence as to
how they got there.

Haley
insists that the world must “act before a missile hits a school or
a hospital and leads to a dangerous military escalation that provokes
a Saudi military response.”

The
column echoes the “big lie” methods pioneered by Nazi Minister of
Propaganda Joseph Goebbels. 


That Saudi Arabia has been bombing Yemeni
schools, hospitals, neighborhoods and infrastructure for nearly three
years, killing some 13,000 Yemeni civilians and plunging the
country’s population into the worst humanitarian crisis on the
planet, goes unmentioned.


Haley
is also silent on the fact that the US has provided the vast majority
of the bombs and missiles dropped on the Yemeni people, while
mounting logistical and refueling operations that make the mass
slaughter possible.

Rusland heeft geen aanval uitgevoerd op VS troepen in Syrië…..

Op 7 februari jl. zouden Syrische troepen, gesteund door Russische adviseurs en huurlingen een basis van de Syrische democratische strijdmacht (SDF, of Syrian Democratic Forces) hebben aangevallen. Het gaat hier om ‘een door de VS gesteunde basis’ waar zich ook VS militairen dan wel adviseurs zouden hebben opgehouden of (nog) ophouden. Met hulp van VS luchtstrijdkrachten werd de aanval afgeslagen……

Vreemd genoeg vielen aan de kant van de aanvallers meer dan 100 strijders, voornamelijk Russen en viel er aan de kant van de door de VS gesteunde strijders (SDF is een terreurorganisatie) en VS militairen niet één slachtoffer, iets dat totaal ongeloofwaardig is.

Darius Shahtahmasebi stelt na ophef in de VS, waar Rusland wordt beschuldigt van het willens en wetens aanvallen van VS militairen, dat Rusland niet van de partij was bij de aanval, daar het hier ging om huurlingen en ‘militaire aannemers’.

Voorts stelt Shahtahmasebi terecht dat Rusland nog steeds op volkomen legitieme basis aanwezig is in Syrië, dit in tegenstelling tot de VS. Daarnaast is het uiteraard een normale zaak dat het reguliere Syrische leger, illegaal bezet Syrisch gebied wil heroveren, zo stelt ook Shahtahmasebi.

Rusland heeft intussen contracten gesloten met de Syrische overheid over de winning van gas en olie, ook in het gebied waar de aanval plaats vond……….. Gezien dat feit zou het niet vreemd zijn te veronderstellen, dat de VS als een bok op de haverkist het gebied koste wat kost wil behouden ‘voor de SDF’ (ofwel voor zichzelf) en daarbij alle ‘vijanden’ zal afslachten, die maar in de buurt durven te komen van dit gebied…….

Eerder in 2017 heeft de VS zich ook al geroerd met aanvallen in dit gebied, toen hielp de VS de SDF met het veroveren van dit gebied en ‘om deze positie te verdedigen’ blijft de VS illegaal gestationeerd in dit gebied….. Lees: de VS blijft aanwezig om olie en gas belangen van oliemaatschappijen in de VS te verdedigen…..

Shahtahmasebi stelt voorts dat wanneer Rusland een olierijk gebied in de VS illegaal zou bezetten en VS troepen zouden zich daartegen verzetten, niemand zou zeggen dat de Russen worden aangevallen (daar zij zich immers illegaal op het gebied van de VS zouden bevinden). Beetje vreemde redenering, daar een aanval nu eenmaal een aanval is, in wat voor omstandigheid dan ook, je spreekt in die gevallen van wel of niet gerechtvaardigd geweld en ja dan kan je ook spreken van (grootschalige) terreur als dit geweld niet gerechtvaardigd is, terreur waar de VS zich keer op keer schuldig aan maakt in Syrië, zoals ook weer in dit geval……

Dat de VS niets te zoeken heeft in Syrië is een feit, zeker als je ziet, dat de VS aan de wieg stond van IS, deze terreurgroep heeft vervoerd en vrije doorgang heeft verleend richting Syrië, waar de VS deze psychopaten ook nog eens deels heeft bewapend, terwijl de VS tegelijkertijd zogenaamd IS bestrijdt en ‘waarvoor de VS het nodig acht in Syrië te blijven……’ (zoals eerder gezegd: dit is vooral in het belang van de oliemaatschappijen in de VS…)

Jammer dat Shahtahmasebi daar geen aandacht aan besteed, zoals hij ook al niets zegt over het ontbreken van slachtoffers aan ‘VS zijde’, bij de hiervoor genoemde aanval..

In één ding heeft hij volkomen gelijk: Rusland heeft geen aanval geopend op de VS militairen. Alle acties van de VS tegen het reguliere Syrische leger en/of de Russen, zijn oorlogsmisdaden en daarmee grootschalige terreur! Je weet wel het soort terreur waar de westerse reguliere media en het grootste deel van de westerse politici zich niet druk om maken, dit gebeurd pas als VS terreur elders terreur uitlokt, zoals wraakacties in de straten van de EU……

Be a Moron: Russia Didn’t Attack US Troops in Syria

February 16, 2018, Bloomberg’s Eli
Lake published an
article entitled “Don’t Be Fooled: Russia Attacked U.S. Troops in
Syria.”

For
context, the U.S.-led coalition conducted
air and artillery strikes against
what was believed to be pro-government forces in Syria on February 7,
2018, in response to an “unprovoked attack” launched by these
pro-regime forces. Not long after, reports began
emerging that
significant numbers of Russian personnel were included in the over
100 dead and wounded, though Russia denied this at first. As
the evidence
began to mount,
the accepted version of events on both sides was that those involved
were Russian mercenaries and contractors, not official troops.

When
asked about the incident initially, U.S. Secretary of Defense James
Mattis said he
had “no
idea why they [pro-government forces] would attack there, the forces
were known to be there, obviously the Russians knew.”

“We
have always known that there are elements in this very complex battle
space that the Russians did not have, I would call it, control
of,” he
added.

In
response to this conundrum, Lake wrote:

“Now,
it should be said that Mattis, a retired four-star Marine Corps
general, is a very smart man. His perplexity in this case is probably
what Plato called a ‘noble lie,’ a falsehood spoken by a leader
to achieve a greater social good. If Mattis acknowledges the obvious
— that the Kremlin authorized a direct assault on a U.S.-sponsored
base by non-uniformed personnel — he risks an escalation spiral in
Syria. Better to express bewilderment and give Russian President
Vladimir Putin a chance to back down and deny culpability, which he
ended up doing despite the heavy casualties suffered by his
mercenaries.”

Lake
added:

“But
make no mistake: There is overwhelming evidence that those Russian
contractors were working at the behest of the Kremlin. What’s more,
the Russians knew U.S. military personnel were in Deir Ezzor, which
has been part of successive agreements to separate, or ‘deconflict,’
forces fighting in Syria.”

First,
if the Kremlin did actually give the go-ahead for the advancement of
troops in that particular area, it is already quite apparent that the
aim of the pro-government troops in question, including their Russian
component, was to try to seize a lucrative Syrian oil field in the
vicinity. CBS reported that
according to Pentagon officials, the Russians did, indeed, have their
sights on these oil fields. CNN also
reported this before it was made aware that the Syrian troops
involved Russian contractors.

Russia
was recently granted exclusive
rights over Syria’s oil and gas production, and Deir Ez-zor is
Syria’s most oil-rich region. So, with regard to the perplexity as
to why Syrian and/or Russian personnel would launch an offensive, the
reasoning is already well-known. The U.S. provided air cover for
Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) to retain a substantial portion of
this area in 2017 and retains
its military presence there in
order to enable SDF’s occupation to continue.

Second,
and most important, if Syrian forces, backed by Russian forces
(whether they are official troops or not), decide to launch an
offensive to retake one of its oil fields, it is not the U.S. that is
under the attack. The U.S. is an invading force that has been bombing
Syria since 2014 without legal justification and continues to
maintain an illegal military presence in order to carry out its
dangerous foreign policy agenda. It wouldn’t matter if the U.S. had
one troop on the ground in Syria and if Russia had ten thousand —
Russia’s presence has been sanctioned under international law and
America’s hasn’t.

Yes,
Russia knew U.S. personnel were in Deir Ez-zor. But that doesn’t
mean Russia and Syria should be barred from reclaiming the territory
under international law. If Russia had set up an illegal base in an
oil-rich part of the U.S. and American troops launched an offensive
with their allies to retake the territory, no one in their right mind
would try to suggest that Russian troops were subsequently under
attack. In fact, if this particular scenario were to play out, the
NATO charter
would require all
of America’s NATO allies to come to its aid against this
hypothetical Russian aggression.

It
doesn’t matter what one thinks of the Syrian government and the
various allegations against it. Even for the sake of argument, we
should assume that all of the allegations against Bashar al-Assad are
true. It doesn’t make a difference.

The
U.S. has attacked Syria, and it could be the case that Syria and its
allies want to drive them out, as is their right. That’s the only
way to properly view this issue if we want to maintain a workable
system of international mutual respect and cooperation. Right now,
there only appears to be one flawed system: the U.S. and its allies
doing whatever they like until they are eventually confronted by a
formidable adversary that possesses nuclear weapons.

In het kader van de algehele Rusland demonisatie en daarvoor zoveel mogelijk geld los te peuteren, heeft de Deutsche Bundeswehr (uiteraard met de hulp van lobbyisten t.b.v. het militair-industrieel complex) een klaagzang op touw gezet: er is te weinig warme kleding voor de deelname van haar troepen aan de NAVO flitsmacht…..* 

De hoogste tijd dat een onafhankelijke organisatie de uitgaven van het Duitse leger controleert, immers hoe is het mogelijk dat met zo’n enorm budget dit leger niet instaat is warme kleding voor haar militairen aan te schaffen…..???

Te zot voor woorden!

Ik moet toegeven dat het me meeviel geen vergelijkingen te hebben gehoord met de nog veel grotere uitgaven voor defensie, uh ik bedoel oorlogsvoering, die de VS doet voor haar grootschalige terreuruitoefening in het buitenland.

* De NAVO flitsmacht is vooral op touw gezet om de NAVO verder in te zetten bij het treiteren van de Russen en het uitlokken van geweld door dat land, een opzet die tot op heden geen succes had, ondanks alle pogingen die de VS en haar oorlogshond de NAVO hebben ondernomen, daarbij werd zelfs een verdrag met Gorbatsjov getorpedeerd, om zo aan de westgrens van Rusland te geraken…. ‘Uiteraard’ wordt daarbij de bevolking in het westen voorgelogen dat Rusland een gevaar is voor hun leven….. Je begrijpt dat het juist andersom is: de NAVO en haar feitelijke baas, de VS, zijn een direct gevaar voor ons leven….. Neem alleen al de uitlatingen van de regeringen in de VS en Groot-Brittannië, waarin men de mogelijkheid tot een kernaanval niet uitsluit, zelfs als vergelding voor een cyberaanval…….

PS: zo’n controle zou ook in Nederland op haar plaats zijn, immers hier verdwijnen zelfs defensiegelden…… Trouwens buiten dat, efficiënt is defensie al helemaal niet als het gaat om het uitgeven van geld, waarmee zelfs wordt gefraudeerd, zoals onlangs bleek met dienstauto’s en andere militaire voertuigen…. Ondanks dat heeft de top van de Nederlandse Defensie het gore lef te klagen over te lage budgetten (daarnaast: in vergelijking met de Rusland geeft alleen de EU al meer dan 3 keer zoveel uit aan ‘defensie……’)……..
