Anti-Corbyn boek valt door de mand als valse aanklacht >> schrijver duikt onder…….

In het
hieronder door Tracy Keeling geschreven artikel, eerder verschenen op
The Canary, vertelt ze over Tom Bower, een bekende anti-Corbyn
fantast, die een boek schreef over Corbyn, genaamd ‘Corbyn’s Ruthless
Plot For Power’. Colomnist Peter Oborne van The Daily Mail schreef
een artikel op Middle East Eye over dit boek, waarin hij o.a. stelt
dat het boek diverse onwaarheden bevat, verder dat Bower systematisch
belangrijke feiten weglaat en op catastrofale manier de standaard
mist voor politieke berichtgeving……..

Oborne
stelt voorts dat hij Bowen meermaals heeft gevraagd te
reageren op zijn kritiek, alvorens tot publicatie over te gaan, maar dat hij geen antwoord kreeg van Bowen……

Mensen
je gelooft je ogen niet als je leest hoe belachelijk Bowen zijn
beweringen doet, zoals die over een extreme speech, die in de 80er
jaren werd geschreven, maar sindsdien door elke Labour leider werd
genegeerd, behalve door Corbyn….. Oborne nam contact op met de
schrijver van de speech, Richard Heller en deze bevestigde dat geen
Labour-leider contact met hem had opgenomen over deze speech,
inclusief Jeremy Corbyn……..

Echt
smerig zijn uiteraard de aantijgingen dat Corbyn een antisemiet is,
waar een paar Britse mediaorganen hem zelfs al uitmaken voor
fascist……*

De reguliere westerse media en het grootste deel van de westerse politiek zijn als de dood dat Corbyn de volgende verkiezingen wint en dan een radicaal ander (socialistisch) politiek beleid zal voeren, een beleid voor de burgers en niet voor oorlogsvoering en het welzijn van de rijke bevolking en de grote bedrijven en banken…. Alleen daarom beschuldigt men Corbyn van antisemitisme!

Bovendien zijn dit soort beschuldigingen door politici en de zogenaamde onafhankelijke massamedia, een trap na voor de slachtoffers van de holocaust*, daar men hun dood misbruikt voor het belasteren van mensen, die niets hebben met antisemitisme, maar wel met de vervolging van het Palestijnse volk door de nu officieel fascistische apartheidsstaat Israël….. Nogmaals: verzet tegen de uiterst bloedige onderdrukking van Palestijnen heeft niets, maar dan ook helemaal niets met antisemitisme te maken!!

probleem zit, pure nonsens zoals je begrijpt:

anti-Corbyn author appears to have gone into hiding after a

9 March, Peter Oborne dismantled Tom
Bower’s Dangerous
Hero: Corbyn’s Ruthless Plot For Power. The Daily
Mail columnist says the
book “contains numerous falsehoods”, “systematically omits
relevant facts” and “catastrophically” fails to meet the
standards for political reporting.

Oborne
also says that, prior to publishing, he made numerous attempts to
contact Bower “in order to give him the chance to defend himself”.
But his efforts via email, text and phone were to no avail.

Here
are a few examples of Oborne’s research into the book’s claims
about Jeremy Corbyn. They may help explain why Bower isn’t eagerly
stepping up to face the music.

The
“extreme” speech

In
his book, Bower asserts that Corbyn adopted a speech written by
freelance speechwriter Richard Heller for the 2015 party conference.
Bower said Heller
wrote the speech in the 1980s and that it:

had
been repeatedly offered to every Labour leader since Michael Foot,
and always rejected as too extreme

Oborne
contacted Heller about this claim. He confirmed that he did offer the
speech to previous Labour leaders. But, contrary to Bower’s
assertion about its rejection, Heller toldOborne:

None
of the previous leaders replied to me at all.

So,
no Labour leader appears to have branded the speech “extreme”.
It’s Bower that does so – and conveniently gives his readers the
idea that Corbyn leans towards the “extreme” in the process.

“The
enemy of the [Jewish] working class”

Trying
to suggest that Corbyn is antisemitic, Bower also writes:

For
Corbyn, Jews were automatically assumed to be rich capitalist
financiers and bankers backed by Wall Street, and were all undoubted
swindlers. They were not victims of racism, but the enemy of the
working class.

As
Oborne argues, Bower ignores the fact that Corbyn has “a long
record of
opposing anti-semitism” in his book. But he even disproves his own
propaganda on this supposed prejudice. Bower asserts that
Corbyn:

conjured
a tale of a brave personal fight against exploitative Jewish
employers of sweatshop labour. Parochialism and fantasy fed the
original source of his anti-Semitism – namely, as he saw it, the
malign collective power of Jews. Corbyn was immersed in an unfamiliar
world. The union was dealing with struggling, overworked,
self-employed Jews

So,
he highlights the Labour leader’s time as a trade union official
‘railing’ against largely Jewish employers in the garment
industry as an example of antisemitism. But, as Oborne notes, in the
next sentence Bower admits that Corbyn was fighting for Jewish
workers.

Bower’s
own bias

Meanwhile,
Bower’s book reveals a lot about his own prejudices and his
capacity for hypocrisy. As Oborne explains:

Bower’s
concern with anti-semitism is clear. However, he talks of other
minority groups with a language which he would be unlikely to
tolerate if used about Jews.

One
such passage, about Corbyn’s constituents in the 1990s, reads:

By
1998, new arrivals from Somalia, Pakistan and Bangladesh had packed
into Islington North. Queues of migrants and asylum seekers at the
Red Rose sought Corbyn’s help to obtain homes, welfare benefits,
character references for bail, help to reduce their sentences after
criminal convictions, and intercession to avoid deportation.

Bower
is suggesting that these “new arrivals” to Islington are
scroungers and criminals. But, as immigration lawyer Colin
Yeo told Oborne:

The
casual conflation of immigration with crime is extremely unfortunate.
I seriously doubt there was much call for his assistance with bail,
benefits, character references or criminal appeals, more like help
with family members and refugee claims.

Clearly,
Bower’s offensive description of these immigrants speaks much more
about him than it does about them.

“Ugly
hatchet job”

Through
these examples, and many more, Oborne proves that
Bower’s book is nothing more than an “ugly hatchet job”. But
it’s one which has received rave
reviews from
the mainstream press. For Oborne, this begs a
question:

Are
British journalists allowing hostility to Corbyn to get in the way of
telling the truth?

The
incessant smears against
Corbyn – including in
Oborne’s Daily
Mail –
since he put himself up for Labour leader in 2015 provide the answer
to that. This “ugly hatchet job” of a book is just the nail in
the British media’s reputational coffin. Yes, if UK journalists
still feel under any obligation to tell the truth (it’s clearly not
a high priority),
that completely goes out of the window with Corbyn.

Het
zoveelste staaltje beestachtige wreedheid van het Israëlische leger en zoals zo
vaak op de illegaal door Israël bezette West Bank……. In het oude
centrum van Hebron raakte een huis in brand, waarin zich nog twee
kinderen bevonden…… De brandweer werd de doorgang ontzegt door militairen bij een wegversperring,
waardoor 1 van de jongetjes ‘s nachts overleed en de andere de
volgende morgen in het ziekenhuis…… Een derde broertje ligt in
het ziekenhuis op de intensive care met brandwonden…….

Israëlische
militairen bij de wegversperring werd gesmeekt de brandweerwagen snel doorgang
te verlenen, juist vanwege de kinderen…. Tevergeefs…..

Beste
bezoeker is het niet om doodziek van te worden?? Als je dacht dat dit
wel niet veel zal voorkomen, helaas: sinds 2015 heeft het Israëlisch
psychopatenleger 123 keer ambulances gestopt…… Dat was
het nog niet beste bezoeker: 386 keer zijn teams van de Rode
Halvemaan aangevallen door kolonisten en Israelsiche
militairen op de (nogmaals) illegaal door Israël bezette
gebieden van de West Bank……. Voorts zijn in diezelfde periode 105 ambulances
vernield, dan wel beschadigd…….

Afgelopen december schoten Israëlische psychopaten een kind neer in vluchtelingenkamp Al-Jalazun, waarna ze een toegesnelde ambulance verjaagden, pas een kwartier later werd een ambulance toegelaten, onderweg naar het ziekenhuis overleed het kind…….

Hoe kan de wereld dit aan blijven zien, zonder in te grijpen en dat al dik meer dan 70 jaar…….

Walgelijk!

Tot slot: ziek, als
je bij nazoeken van zaken op een pro-Israëlische site komt genaamd ‘Israellycool’, waar men bijvoorbeeld stelt dat er aanvankelijk werd gemeld dat
de twee kinderen in de brand waren omgekomen, terwijl later bleek dat
de ander ‘pas’ de volgende morgen in het ziekenhuis is overleden en vanwege dat feit de hele zaak afdoen als
anti-Israëlische propaganda…….. Misselijk

(MEMO) — Two
Palestinian children have been killed in a blaze at their home in
occupied Hebron after the Israeli authorities prevented the fire
brigade from reaching them in time.

The
two children – one of whom is believed to have been just 18-months
old – were burned to death in a fire at their home in the
Al-Salaymeh neighbourhood of Hebron’s Old City in the occupied West
Bank. One was reported dead late last night, while the second
succumbed to the burns received this morning after receiving
emergency treatment at the nearby Hebron government hospital. A third
child, thought to be the dead children’s brother, also suffered
severe burns in the incident and remains in intensive care, according
to hospital Director Dr Walid Zalloum.

The
names of the three children have not been released formally, but
Palestinian news site Palestine
Today named
the two who were killed as four-year-old Wael Al-Rajabi and his
18-month-old sister Malik. The local police spokesman, Colonel Loai
Arziqat, confirmed in
a press statement that two children had died, but did not offer
further information.

Though
the emergency services were called, the fire brigade was prevented
from reaching the scene by Israeli soldiers. In a video filmed last
night at 21:50 local time (19:50 GMT), the fire engine can be seen
trying to drive down a narrow street. The truck comes to a stop at a
road block obstructing the way, while local residents implore the
Israeli soldiers stationed there to “open the gate quickly, for the
children.”

The
Israeli soldiers, however, did not yield to the onlookers’ pleas,
delaying the emergency services’ response and preventing them from
reaching the property. The cause of the fire remains unknown.

Israel
is no stranger to restricting emergency services’ access to
Palestinians in need. According to Medical Aid for Palestinians
(MAP), citing the Palestine Red Crescent Society, since 2015 Israel
has prevented ambulances
from crossing checkpoints on 123 occasions. In addition, there were
386 attacks against Red Crescent teams across the occupied
Palestinian territories (oPt) during the same period, as well as 105
ambulances damaged.

In
December, Israeli soldiers shot a
Palestinian child then prevented him from receiving potentially
life-saving medical treatment; he died soon thereafter.
Seventeen-year-old Mahmoud Nakhle was shot as Israeli forces
suppressed protests around Al-Jalazun refugee camp near Ramallah, in
the occupied West Bank. A few minutes later, the soldiers chased off
a Palestinian ambulance, threatening the driver with their rifles and
not giving Nakhle first aid themselves.

Only
after a quarter of an hour did the soldiers allow an ambulance to be
summoned, but Nakhle died en route to hospital.

Under
international law, as the occupying power Israel is forbidden from
preventing access to medical care and emergency services to the
people living under its occupation. According to the Fourth
Geneva Convention,
“The occupying power must ensure sufficient hygiene and public
health standards, as well as the provision of food and medical care
to the population under occupation.” In addition, “Personnel of
the International Red Crescent Movement must be allowed to carry out
their humanitarian activities.”

Israel,
however, continues to breach this and other articles of international
laws and conventions with impunity.

De
Mensenrechtenraad van de Verenigde Naties (UNHRC) geeft in een
rapport aan dat Israël met opzet kinderen en journalisten heeft vermoord en dat is al een fiks aantal keren uitgemond in massamoord……..

De Raad
kan niet anders concluderen dan Israël doet dit met opzet en heeft aangekondigd een officieel
onderzoek in te stellen naar die massamoorden.

Uiteraard
reageert de Israëlische regering weer met de gebruikelijke gespeelde
verontwaardiging, immers als kenners van de holocaust moeten zij
weten dat haar leger niet anders doet dan een volk vervolgen op basis
van het tot een bepaalde gemeenschap behoren….. Het was ten tijde van de
holocaust niet anders: Joden, Roma, Sinti, homo’s en politieke tegenstanders werden vervolgd en zoveel mogelijk massaal vermoord, waar
Israël heden ten dage de Palestijnen vervolgt en hen massaal vermoordt, waar deze Palestijnse mensen voor de overgrote meerderheid ongewapend zijn…..

Voorts
een beetje vreemd rapport, daar men spreekt over 154 Palestijnen van
de 183 mensen die ongewapend waren….. De enige andere Palestijnen
hadden dan blijkbaar wel wapens, terwijl die bestonden uit katapulten en stenen…… Ik weet niet hou jij erover denkt, maar een uzi of
M16 vergelijken met stenen, een katapult, of slinger, is m.i. geen vergelijking…..

Jammer
dat de UNHRC niet rept over moord op de Canadees/Palestijnse arts en de medische hulpverleners, die
duidelijk zichtbaar hun werk deden in het bijstaan van gewonde
demonstranten, ondanks dat feit werden ze ‘gewoon’ doodgeschoten door het psychopathisch,
moorddadig geteisem van het Israëlische leger……..

Het

het laatste artikel suggereren VN onderzoekers dat de massamoorden
aan de grens met de Gazastrook, de massamoord op Palestijnen, mensen die ten einde raad zijn en die
terecht al sinds maart vorig jaar, elke vrijdag voor de
grens met Israël protesteren tegen hun benarde positie: leven in een openluchtgevangenis, waar Israël te onpas en te onpas massamoorden uitvoert……. Het Palestijnse protest wordt uitgevoerd onder de noemer: The great Return March. 


Deze massamoorden op ongewapende Palestijnse demonstranten vinden plaats ‘op grondgebied van de Palestijnen’*, ofwel de psychopathische Israëlische moordenaars schoten over de grens met de Gazastrook heen……. Zonder twijfel zijn deze moorden oorlogsmisdaden…… Beste bezoeker, ik
zal niet lachen, daar dit totaal ongepast zou zijn bij dit onderwerp,
maar het is toch wel te gek als je nog twijfelt of het oordeel
‘oorlogsmisdaden’ wel gepast is, terwijl Israël al vanaf haar illegale
stichting oorlog voert tegen de Palestijnen, die allesbehalve dezelfde slagkracht hebben als het moderne Israëlische leger, integendeel…….

Gelukkig
stellen die onderzoekers wel dat het of oorlogsmisdaden zijn, dan wel
misdaden tegen de menselijkheid (m.i. nog een graad erger).

Hoe
is het gvd mogelijk dat de westerse wereld op haar kop staat over de
leugens aangaande de situatie in Venezuela, terwijl wekelijkse (feitelijke) massamoorden door Israël gepleegd en waarbij zoals gezegd veel
kinderen werden en worden vermoord, niet eens een wenkbrauw doen fronsen bij diezelfde westerse wereld…….. Hetzelfde geldt overigens voor Jemen, waar de Saoedische
terreurcoalitie met hulp van nota bene de VS en GB een genocide
uitvoert, waarbij naar zeggen intussen al een half miljoen
mensen is vermoord………

(ANTIWAR.COM) — Israel
is furious at the UN Human Rights Council most of the time, but they
are particularly furious whenever the body offers a report, as Israel
tends to violate a lot of human rights. In this case, the council has
announced an “independent inquiry” into the protests at the Gaza
border.

Every
Friday, for months now, Palestinian protesters have rallied near the
Gaza border to protest the Israeli blockade. Every Friday, Israel
shoots a large number of people. The investigation ruled that there
are “reasonable grounds” to believe Israel violated international
law.

The
report noted that 154 out of 183 people killed by Israel in that time
were entirely unarmed. They noted Israel had repeatedly, deliberately
shot children and journalists, as well as disabled protesters.
International law, needless to say, frowns upon those sorts of
deliberate killings.

Israeli
officials reacted with typical fury, it is noteworthy that they
didn’t deny any of the content of the report. Instead, Acting
Foreign Minister Katz argued Israel
has a “right of self-defense and the obligation to defend its
citizens and borders.” In essence, he is arguing that Israel
had an obligation to shoot those unarmed children.

(MEE) – The
killing of hundreds of Palestinian protesters at the Gaza border in
the last year might be categorized as war crimes, UN investigators
have suggested.

More
than 250 Palestinians were killed and 26,000 injured since weekly
“Great March of Return” protests began in March 2018.

The
new report said that the killing of largely unarmed protesters “may
constitute war crimes or crimes against humanity”.

“The
Israeli security forces killed and maimed Palestinian demonstrators
who did not pose an imminent threat of death or serious injury to
others when they were shot, nor were they directly participating in
hostilities,” the panel report said.

The
panel had confidential information about those believed to be
responsible for the killings, including snipers and commanders, which
was being given to UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle
Bachelet for her to share with the International Criminal Court
(ICC), it said.

Mustafa
Abu Assi, a 29-year-old engineer living in Gaza, welcomed the report
on Thursday, saying he “totally agreed” with the UN’s
assessment.

“I
think that what we faced in Palestine exceeds war crimes,” Abu Assi
told Middle East Eye by email.

Raghad
Fadel, a 22-year-old who is currently unemployed, said after growing
accustomed to being treated by the world as “nothing more than
numbers and collateral damage”, the report offered her some hope.

“We
get killed every day for simply asking for our right to take back
what was stolen from our grandparents,” said Fadel, also by email.

“To
finally see that the Israeli forces will be held accountable for part
of their crimes, it gives me some hope that there is a fair world out
there and one day, we will be free.”

Adalah,
a legal group for Israel’s Palestinian minority, said the report
was a “scathing indictment of the Israeli government on all
fronts”.

War
on Want, an NGO based in London, welcomed the UN report and urged the
British government to stop selling arms to Israel.

“The
UK government has continued to trade in arms with Israel, providing
material support to a state which uses military force brutally and
unlawfully against an occupied people, despite major concerns from
human rights groups, the UN, and the International criminal courts,”
Ryvka Barnard, War on Want senior campaigner.

“The
UK government has an obligation to act. It must not continue trading
arms with a state found to be committing war crimes that are both
historic and ongoing.”

Protests
have been held at the frontier between Israel and the Gaza Strip
since last year, calling for the easing of an Israeli blockade of the
territory and recognition of the right of Palestinian refugees there
to return to homes in Israel.

Israel
has said its forces opened fire to protect the frontier from
incursions and attacks by armed militants.

Two
Israeli soldiers have been killed over the same period, one by a
Palestinian sniper and another during a botched Israeli special
forces operation within the Gaza Strip.

Israel
maintains a crippling blockade of Gaza which critics say amounts to
collective punishment of the impoverished enclave’s two million
residents.


Egypt
also upholds the siege, restricting movement in and out of Gaza on
its border.

Esther Voet (hoofdredacteur Nieuw Israëlietisch Weekblad) over ‘antisemitisme’

Vandaag had KRONCRV in het megasuffe Radio1 programma ‘Spraakmakers’, Esther Voet van het NIW ofwel het Nieuws Israëlietisch Weekblad (vreemd overigens die extra ‘e’ in Israëlietisch) was vandaag de ‘Spraakmaker van de dag’ (‘leuk bedacht’ hè?)

Toen ik rond 10.50 u. afstemde op Radio1, sprak Voet over antisemitisme. Hier gaf ze overduidelijke voorbeelden van antisemitisme, zoals het bekladden van grafstenen met swastika’s, of de SS ‘runen’. Uiteraard noemde Voet ook de aanvallen op Joden in de EU, evenzo als het in het openbaar uitschelden van Joden……

Alsof het een wet van Meden en Perzen betrof noemde Voet een aantal antisemitische groepen dan wel politieke richtingen en daar noemde ze extreem rechts en links……. Wat betreft die laatste gaf ze geen voorbeelden al gebeurt het bijvoorbeeld in Frankrijk regelmatig dat linkse politici, zoals een aantal van de lokale/regionale vertegenwoordigers van de ‘communistische partij’, wel degelijk harde antisemitische uitspraken doen……

Je had al wel begrepen dat Voet niet met de beschuldiging kwam dat kritiek op de bloedige politiek van de opvolgende Israelsiche regeringen hetzelfde is als antisemitisme, terwijl ze dat wel degelijk vindt (zelfs voor het CIDI was ze te radicaal in haar woorden….)…..

Zo staat Voet achter de definities die gebruikt kunnen worden om antisemieten aan te wijzen en die werden vastgesteld door de International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA)…… Om er een paar aan te wijzen, eerder door de NRC gepubliceerd: „Antisemitisme is een zekere perceptie van joden, die zich kan uiten als haat jegens joden.” ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Ja daar kan je alle kanten mee op en inderdaad alle kritiek op de nu officiële fascistische staat Israël afdoen als antisemitisme (Israël is nu officieel fascistisch vanwege de aanname van de natiestaat wet door het Israëlisch parlement; al is de apartheidspolitiek, die de staat Israël vanaf haar illegale oprichting voert, een duidelijk teken van fascisme)….

Een andere definitie, die zelfs direct kritiek op Israël afdoet als antisemitisme wordt aangegeven met „voorbeelden van hedendaags antisemitisme” en zo zou eenieder die stelt dat Israël een ‘racistische onderneming’ is, of die Israël aan ‘dubbele maatstaven’ onderwerpt, een antisemiet…….

De vergelijkingen van Israël met fascisme zijn natuurlijk geheel uit den boze volgens Voet en andere fundi-zionisten, terwijl er wel degelijk een groot aantal overeenkomsten zijn……… Zo luidden een aantal Israëlische officieren begin 90er jaren van de vorige eeuw de klok over een lesboek waaruit zij bij hun opleiding werden onderwezen: het SS handboek….. (waarin o.a. staat te lezen hoe je een getto kan beheersen…… Waar Israël zelfs een getto heeft gecreëerd in de Gazastrook, een grote openluchtgevangenis, die het best te vergelijken is met het getto van Warschau tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog…….)

Ook de wraakacties (militaire vergelding) door het vernietigen van de huizen van families van Palestijnen die zich hebben verzet tegen de onderdrukking van het Palestijnse volk, komt uit de koker van het nazi-Duitse bewind in WOII…… (al deed Rusland dit al tijdens de veldtocht van Napoleon, echter de schaal van deze wraakacties was op haar grootst tijdens WOII…..)

Benieuwd of ‘Spraakmakers’ bijvoorbeeld Harry de Winter van ‘Een Ander Joods Geluid’ ook eens uitnodigt als ‘Spraakmaker van de dag’, zodat hij wel een gewogen beeld kan geven over wat er in Israël gebeurt >> de vraag stellen is haar beantwoorden: nee dus!! (hufter Voet noemt Joden als de Winter die terecht grote kritiek hebben op bijvoorbeeld de massamoorden door Israël gepleegd op Palestijnen: ‘excuus Joden…’)

PS: de meer dan hypocriete volksverlakkers van de PvdA hebben zich intussen ook achter de IHRA definities geschaard (zie nogmaals de NRC)…. Ach ja, PvdA, de allerhoogste tijd dat deze volksverlakkers partij geheel wordt weggevaagd, onthoudt dit als je in maart en mei in het stemhok staat.

Gisteren
maakte ook Labour politicus Joan Ryan*, bekend dat ze Labour heeft verlaten vanwege het ‘antisemitisme’ in de partij…… Ze deed dit nadat een dag eerder 7 Labour politici de partij verlieten om ‘dezelfde reden…’** Het gaat hier echter niet om
antisemitisme maar om kritiek op de (sinds een aantal maanden officiële) fascistische  apartheidsstaat Israël…….

Sterker
nog, een onderzoek wees uit dat 0,1% van de 540.000 Labour leden echt antisemitische uitspraken hebben geventileerd, voor het
overige gaar het zoals opgemerkt over terechte kritiek op Israël vanwege massamoorden, mensen- en kinderrechtenschendingen en misdaden
tegen de menselijkheid, zaken die niets van doen hebben met
antisemitisme, anders dan Joden die zich hieraan schuldig hebben gemaakt en maken……. Zelfs als bij die kritiek niet één keer het woord Jood valt,
wordt de criticus toch beschuldigd van antisemitisme…….. Blijkbaar vinden dat
soort lui dat Israël alle rechten heeft om wie dan ook te vermoorden,
te martelen, te ontvoeren en te gijzelen, zonder daarvoor ter verantwoording te worden geroepen…….

Overigens is de hele hysterie over (niet bestaand) antisemitisme een vehikel om Jeremy Corbyn zo zwart te maken dat hij nooit de verkiezingen kan winnen en dat heeft alles te maken met het echt sociale beleid dat Corbyn voorstaat, ofwel Corbyn is simpelweg te links voor deze Labour politici…….. Politici die bijvoorbeeld liever zien dat 4 miljoen kinderen dagelijks met honger naar school blijven gaan, i.p.v. hun ouders meer te steunen zodat ze zelf hun kinderen fatsoenlijk te eten kunnen geven……

An
undercover reporter for Al
Jazeera previously
recorded resigning Blairite Joan Ryan smearing a critic of
Israel. And pro-Palestine advocacy groups accused Ryan
of ‘lying’ to damage the Labour member.

On
20 February, Ryan joined seven
other Labour and three Tory MPs in resigning from their respective
parties to join a new centrist parliamentary faction. And Ryan, chair
of the Labour Friends of Israel (LFI) pressure group, says she
resigned over a “scourge of anti-Jewish racism” that she claims
has “infected” Labour under Jeremy Corbyn.

Can
we trust Ryan?

Yet
undercover footage from the 2016 Labour Party conference brings
Ryan’s claim into serious question. And the footage comes in
addition to the context that:

  • Accusations of
    antisemitism involve around 0.1% of Labour’s     540,000 strong
    membership.

  • An
    academic report     found widespread
    ‘distorted, inaccurate and misleading’ coverage of Labour and
    antisemitism across the corporate media.

  • Like
    three     of the other resigned
    Labour MPs, Ryan has     lost a
    non-binding no-confidence vote from local Labour members.

Al
Jazeera‘s
investigative documentary The
Lobby filmed
Ryan appearing to misrepresent comments from Labour member Jean
Fitzpatrick in order to accuse her of antisemitism.

Ryan claimed the
Labour member said that if you join Labour Friends of Israel, “you
get into Oxford or you get into working in the bank…”. And Ryan
concluded: “That’s antisemitic.”

But
the following undercover footage of the exchange, which leads to Ryan
accusing Fitzpatrick of antisemitism five minutes in, shows that the
Labour member did not mention banking:

Jazeera released
the documentary, Ryan stood by
her allegation:

It
is the duty of Labour Party members – whether in Parliament or at
the grassroots – to report language that they believe to be racist
or antisemitic. References to groups having ‘lots of money … lots
of prestige in the world’ and suggestions that they advance
people’s careers appeared to me to evoke classic antisemitic
tropes.

But
are there more fabrications from Ryan?

Upon
quitting, Ryan – who had multiple ministerial
roles under Tony Blair- also claimed that
she won her seat:

in
spite of [Mr Corbyn], not because of him. I didn’t win my seat on
his coat tails

But
the evidence suggests the opposite is true. In September 2018, a
YouGov poll found that
just 2% of Labour supporters voted for the party in 2017 because of
the local candidate. 83%, meanwhile, said they
voted for Labour either because of its policies or values. And under
Corbyn in 2017, Ryan saw her
majority increase by 14%. Nonetheless, Ryan and the other Blairites
have quit the party without calling a by-election to re-contest their
seats. Instead, it looks like they’ll simply sit in parliament on
their own terms rather than those they were elected on.

It
gets worse

In
June 2018, a letter from
the Labour Friends of Israel chair equated upholding “Palestinian
right of return” with antisemitism. Novara
Media senior
editor Ash Sarkar laid out
the problem with that:

Joan
Ryan in her letter to Jeremy Corbyn said that respecting Palestinian
right of return for five million Palestinian refugees is itself a
denial of the Jewish right of self-determination because it would no
longer be a Jewish majority state. The question I would put to other
people is do you think that’s antisemitism or do you think that’s
respecting UN General Assembly resolution 194?

UN
resolution 194 states that:

refugees
wishing to return to their homes and live at peace with their
neighbours should be permitted to do so at the earliest practicable
date

Israel withholds the
right of indigenous Palestinians who were forced out of their
homeland to return. By contrast, Israel grants citizenship
to any Jewish person around the world.

Questions
surrounding Labour Friends of Israel


Five
of the eight quitting Labour MPs are supporters of
the Labour Friends of Israel pressure group. In the Al
Jazeera documentary,
a key Labour Friends of Israel officer admitted that
it works “really closely” with the Israeli embassy “behind the
scenes”. He continued:

It’s
just publicly we just try to keep the LFI as a separate identity to
the embassy.

These
revelations should have been enough for the Labour leadership to call
an inquiry into Labour Friends of Israel. Now a number of its key
members are splintering from Labour and launching yet more damaging
attacks on the Corbyn-led movement. And the corporate media is aiding
and abetting them through hiding the context that brings Ryan and the
other quitters’ accusations into serious question.

There’s
no place in the Labour party for apologists for
Israel’s apartheid,
occupation and systematic subjugation of
the Palestinian people. With that in mind, the phrase ‘good
riddance’ seems appropriate.

Jeremy
Corbyn, de huidige voorzitter van de Labour Party en oppositieleider, wordt in de
landelijke media op dagelijkse basis door de stront getrokken, vooral
‘het antisemitisme van Corbyn’ vormt alweer een paar jaar de
hoofdmoot van het gooien met drek.

Tja,
als je kritiek hebt op de (officiële) fascistische apartheidsstaat
Israël, ben je een antisemiet, Israël dat het Palestijnse volk al meer dan 70 jaar doet zuchten
onder: 

  • het onmogelijk maken van het leven voor Palestijnen, door het onthouden van water en energie, wat voor de Gazastrook wordt aangevuld met een mondjesmaat toelaten van humanitaire hulpgoederen….. 
  • het zich vrij bewegen door Palestijnen op de West Bank is onmogelijk, e.e.a. door een enorm aantal wegblokkades, gecombineerd met een illegale muur op dit door Israël illegaal bezette gebied. Zelfs boeren kunnen daardoor hun grond niet meer bereiken
  • landdiefstal, niet alleen van boeren, maar zelfs de stichting van de staat Israël was tegen internationale wetgeving, waar Israël nu het gore lef heeft landen te belasteren als antisemitisch en een gevaar voor Israël, daar dezen haar illegale staat niet erkennen…… 
  • huisdiefstal >> het vernielen van door Palestijnen gebouwde huizen dan wel het verjagen van Palestijnen uit hun huis, of zelfs het onteigenen van een huis en de grond waarop dit huis staat
  • gevangenneming op
    belachelijke gronden, waar zelfs kinderen het slachtoffer van zijn….
  • ontvoeringen, ook van kinderen
  • gijzeling >> het vastzetten van Palestijnen zonder enige vorm van rechtspraak, iets dat zelfs Palestijnse kinderen overkomt, ‘administratieve detentie’ noemt men dit in het zogenaamd democratische Israël…..
  • martelingen, ook van kinderen…….
  • een
    groot aantal massamoorden op ongewapende Palestijnen

Sterker Israël aanduiden zoals het is, dus Israël eens fascistische apartheidsstaat noemen is al voldoende om als antisemiet te worden
weggezet, terwijl daar alleen de (werkelijke) huidige status quo mee wordt beschreven….. Met het aannemen van de natiestaat-wet heeft Israël toegegeven dat het officieel een
fascistische staat is….. Hoewel dit al lang duidelijk was, gezien de gevoerde apartheidspolitiek tegen de Palestijnen, waarbij dit volk ook nog eens wordt vervolgd……. 

Moet
je nagaan: Corbyns gesprek met Hajo Meijer, van Een Ander Joods Geluid werd eerder zelfs als
bewijs aangevoerd dat hij antisemitisch is, terwijl Meijer een
Joodse overlevende is van de nazi-Duitse dodenkampen……

In
een interview met de voormalige Britse Labour premier Blair, een
oorlogsmisdadiger van groot formaat, stelde deze dat een gesprek over
antisemitisme binnen Labour niet zou hebben plaatsgevonden toen hij
premier was, daar er destijds geen antisemitisme in de partij bestond…… Een heel
smerige leugen, die onmiddellijk onderuit werd gehaald door Tory
Fibs…….

The Mail
on Sunday published
an absolute hatchet
job on
Jeremy Corbyn on 10 February. Not to be outdone, Sky
News aired
another during Ridge
on Sunday.
But the outlet’s attack on the Labour leader came crashing down
almost as quickly as the Mail‘s
did.

Not
on my watch

Sophy
Ridge interviewed Tony Blair on 10 February. After the show, she took
to the Sky
Newswebsite
to wax lyrical about the man who conspired with
the US to destroy Iraq. She was fawning:

“Whatever
you think of his politics, Tony Blair is a refreshing person to
interview because he engages with whatever questions you ask without
trying to bat them away” (and makes me realise how rarely that happens
in the world of politics).

One
of the topics Ridge ‘engaged’ in with Blair was antisemitism in
Jeremy Corbyn’s Labour Party. Never
one to
‘bat away’ this particular subject, Blair quickly rolled out an
antisemitic trope to argue his point. He said that
he sees antisemitism in “parts of the left” in their “attitudes
to the state of Israel”. Conflating Jewish people with Israel is an
antisemitic trope. He also claimed the
Labour leadership hasn’t been “robust enough” on the issue.
Blair then shared this
nugget:

Can
you imagine when I was leader of the Labour Party having a
conversation with me about whether antisemitism was in the Labour
Party or not? We wouldn’t even have that conversation.

So,
according to Blair, antisemitism didn’t raise its ugly head in the
party when he was leader enough to merit a conversation. There’s
just one problem with that.

News‘s Ridge
on Sunday interview,
Blair voiced support for Berger. She is currently at loggerheads with
her constituency Labour Party over her politics and the issue of
antisemitism. The former Labour leader expressed disbelief
that Berger could be in that position.

fail

As
Tory Fibs says though, Ridge didn’t challenge Blair on his claim
that antisemitism wasn’t a problem when he held the reins. So, if
no-one in the media has had a ‘conversation’ with the former
Labour leader about it, it’s not because it wasn’t an issue. It’s
just that the British media is as shitty now as it’s always been at
doing its job. When it comes to war-hungry, media
mogul-friendly neoliberal
politicians, the British press rarely holds them to account.

Tenhemelschreiend (alweer) het bericht van Code Pink, dat op 20 januari
jl. een groep bewapende illegale ‘kolonisten’* Hamdy Naasan vermoordden,
een 38 jarige Palestijnse vader van 4 kinderen…. Naasan werd
vermoord in het Palestijnse dorp (heel Israël is in feite Palestijns
gebied, ‘maar goed…’) Al Mughayyir op de West Bank, het gebied dat illegaal wordt bezet door Israël en dat ‘voortvarend’ illegaal wordt
volgeplempt met nederzettingen voor psychopathische zionisten…….

Let wel, de moord op Naasan staat bepaald niet op zich, herhaaldelijk gaan Israëlische ‘kolonisten’ ongestraft tekeer tegen Palestijnen wier grond men zich heeft toegeëigend, of van wie men landbouwgrond wil inlijven…….

Het
leven is al welhaast ondraaglijk voor de Palestijnen, daar
bijvoorbeeld de meeste boeren hun land niet meer kunnen bereiken,
door de illegale muur die Israël dwars over hun land heeft
gezet…… Voorts moeten Palestijnen zich dagelijks laten vernederen
door jonge psychopathische Israëlische moordenaars in het uniform van
het meer dan smerige Israëlische leger en dat niet één keer maar meermaals (per dag…)….

Zelfs
CDA’er van Agt, tijdens zijn premierschap van Nederland een enorme
schoft, spreekt schande van het Israëlische optreden op de West Bank
en in de Gazastrook, waar de laatste een openluchtgevangenis is voor Palestijnse
gezinnen, ofwel een getto en vergelijkbaar met het getto van
Warschau tijdens WOII….. (Israëlische officieren hebben begin 90er
jaren de klok geluid over hun opleiding in het leger, waar ze les
kregen uit een SS handboek waarin o.a. wordt uitgelegd hoe je een
getto gewelddadig onder de duim kan houden……..)

Onbegrijpelijk
ook dat de westerse wereld Israël niet alleen met dit soort barbaarse
moorden laat begaan en zelfs geen sancties treft na massamoorden die door deze fascistische apartheidsstaat voor de camera
worden begaan, terwijl men zich wel druk maakt over Venezuela, alsof de
situatie daar 10 keer zo erg is als die in de Palestijnse gebieden, waar
het geweld van Israël vele keren het ‘geweld’ van de Venezolaanse
politie en het leger overtreft…..

Wat een
vuil vies hypocriet zootje, gadver!!

Doe
mee aan de petitie van Code Pink om 2 reisorganisaties dringend te
verzoeken geen verblijf meer aan te bieden in de illegale Israëlische
nederzettingen en geeft het ajb door, een eerdere actie gericht aan
het adres van Airbnb was succesvol en dat internet orgaan heeft deze
bestemming van haar lijst geschrapt.

“Children
here live in fear”

On
January 20, a group of armed Israeli settlers descended onto  the
Palestinian village of Al Mughayir in the West Bank. They shot and
killed Hamdy Naasan, 38, a Palestinian father of four.


The
murder of Hamdy Nassan is not an isolated incident- violence by
Israeli settlers against Palestinians and their property is
increasing rapidly. A new report by Amnesty International
titled Destination
Occupation shows
how travel companies are profiting from the violence Palestinians
face on a daily basis. Join
us in calling on TripAdvisor, Expedia and Booking.com to follow in
the footsteps of Airbnb and remove illegal settlement listings from
their website.

Thanks
to several years of organized pressure from activists, last year
Airbnb announced it would be removing settlement rentals from its
platform. Despite an ugly backlash, Airbnb is sticking to their
decision. Now it’s up to us to make sure the other travel companies
also do the right thing and end complicity with Israel’s illegal
and discriminatory settlement policy.

By
boosting the settlement tourism industry and, as a result, the
settlement economy, Booking. com, Expedia and TripAdvisor are
contributing to the maintenance, development and expansion of illegal
settlements. Their promotion of settlements as a tourist destination
normalizes and legitimizes Israeli settlements, which are considered
war crimes under international criminal law. 


Continuing to do
business in these settlements remains one of the greatest obstacles
to peace.


Help
us tell Booking.com, Expedia, and Trip Advisor and other travel
booking companies  to follow Airbnb’s lead and remove settlement
homes from their sites immediately. Settlements
are stolen Palestinian land. They should not be tourist destinations!

Together,
we can end international support for the occupation and build the
movement that will help secure  human rights in Palestine.

Kathryn Shihadah, de schrijver van het hieronder opgenomen artikel gepubliceerd op het blog ‘If Americans Knew‘, bracht een paar dagen voor publicatie een video waarin een 10 jarige Palestijnse jongen werd gearresteerd. De reactie van een vriend van haar, een vriend die het opneemt voor Israël, was dat dit soort video’s hem/haar niets zeggen en dat deze video’s zijn gespeeld en/of het resultaat zijn van langdurige provocaties (van Palestijnse kant). 

Overigens is deze reactie allesbehalve uniek voor de VS en fanatieke zionisten in Israël, ook in de rest van het westen geloven velen niet dat Israël kinderen op grote schaal arresteert, laat staan dat men deze kinderen martelt en dwingt verklaringen te ondertekenen die zij niet kunnen lezen…….

Shihadah stelt terecht dat Israël dagelijks meer dan 10 miljoen dollar ontvangt van de VS, waar het congres overweegt Israël zelfs meer te geven dan dat enorme bedrag (vermenigvuldig die 10 miljoen met het aantal dagen en je ziet dat Israël per jaar het fenomenaal grote bedrag van meer dan 3,650,000,000.– dollar ontvangt en dat bedrag wil men nog verder verhogen…..

Gezien dit bedrag dat wordt opgehoest door de belastingbetalers in de VS, waarmee deze belastingbetalers volgens Shihadah het volste recht hebben te weten wat er met dit geld gebeurt en waar Israël in feite voor staat: -apartheid, -een continue vervolging van Palestijnen, waaronder een groot aantal kinderen, -vernietiging van Palestijnse huizen en ontwikkelingsprojecten, die o.a. door Nederland werden betaald en vooral niet te vergeten -de massamoorden op Palestijnen die Israël keer op keer begaat en dat tegen mensen die zich niet kunnen verdedigen tegen één van de modernste legers op aarde….. 

Tijdens de wekelijkse Great Return March demonstraties van de Palestijnen doet Israël zelfs geen moeite te verbergen dat het ongewapende demonstranten neerschiet, waarbij intussen meer dan 250 Palestijnse mensen om het leven zijn gekomen….

In 2018 arresteerde Israël het ongelofelijke aantal van 980 kinderen, dit nog naast het het zoals zojuist gemelde vermoorden van meer dan 250 ongewapende demonstranten in de Gazastrook, waaronder meer dan 30 kinderen, invaliden, medisch hulpverleners en journalisten………

In de vorm van een brief (waarin een zevental video’s zijn te zien) aan haar vriend, laat Shihadah zien dat Israël wel degelijk kinderen arresteert en dat voor ronduit onbenulligheden………

WATCH: Yes, Israel does arrest children

Eighteen
youths, most under the age of 18, were arrested for throwing stones
at soldiers on 13 October 2017. They were locked in a cage,
blindfolded during interrogations, and not allowed access to their
families or lawyers until their release that night.

Intellectual
honesty is about confronting those things that make us uncomfortable,
not ignoring them. Israel arrests Palestinian children; see 7 of the
many videos of these actions.The U.S. gives Israel over $10 million
per day, and Congress is currently considering bills to
give Israel even more. That makes it obligatory for Americans to
learn the facts, and act on them.

A
few days ago, I posted on Facebook a video of Israeli soldiers
arresting a 10-year-old Palestinian boy.

Israeli
soldiers routinely torture,
abuse, and threaten Palestinian children, and force them to sign
confessions written in Hebrew, which they can’t read. Naturally the
child’s father tried to stop the soldiers, to spare his son. The
father was beaten up.

A
friend of mine who advocates for Israel left this comment:

I
don’t put much credence in these videos. I believe a lot of this is
staged and/or the result of persistent provocation.

This
is America, where freedom of speech is a thing (unless you try
to criticize
Israel),
so my friend is allowed to express his doubts.

“Provocation”
is an interesting word. Is provocation something that only
Palestinians do?

Do
110+ years of ethnic
cleansing qualify
as provocation? Does a 50-year occupation fall under that heading?
How about restriction of movement, restriction of worship, of speech,
of assembly? How about generations of humiliation, lost hope, and
neglect? Starvation and oppression? (These questions are not
rhetorical.)

My
friend continued,

Not
saying it [arrest of minors, assault on adults] doesn’t happen.
However, I’ve seen videos of the provocation, too. 

I’ll
admit, I’ve seen a video that could be considered provocation by a
Palestinian. Her name is Ahed Tamimi, and she slapped and kicked a
soldier. She was arrested and spent 8 months in prison.

Why
did she do it? Her cousin Mohammad had just been shot
in the face by
an Israeli soldier, and was hanging onto life by a thread. Ahed was
angry that day, my friends. And not just because of this isolated
incident, horrific as it was.

For
the last 9 years or so, Israel has made life in Ahed’s town, Nabi
Saleh, almost intolerable:
Residents receive just 12 hours of running water a
week,
while nearby Israeli settlers – who live on land confiscated from
the villagers – have running water 24/7. Israeli soldiers raid Nabi
Saleh almost every day; sometimes they spray homes with skunk
water.
Ahed Tamimi’s home has been raided at least 150 times.

That
sounds a little provocative.

But
I digress.

My
friend offered a video as
proof that you can’t trust what you see Palestinians doing on the
internet.

He
also explained that he needed more proof before he’d believe that
Israel made a habit of arresting children.

Can
do.

I
submit the following videos – just a few of the many that are
available – for my friend’s perusal, and for anyone who believes
that Israel has “the world’s most moral army.”

In
2018,
Israel arrested 5,700 Palestinians, including 980
children and
175 women, according to the Palestine Prisoners’ Centre for
Studies. And there are smartphones everywhere, so it’s reasonable
to expect some arrests would be filmed.

Well,
without further ado, here are 7 short videos of Palestinian children
having their childhood stolen from them. (I wonder whether they will
grow up well-adjusted and friendly towards Israel?)

To
my Zionist friend: you can reject these if you need to, but watch
them first.

No,
seriously, watch them all the way through.

The
first video was published by Christian Peacemaker Teams, an
organization that has had a continuous presence in the West Bank
since 1995. The org exists to bear witness to injustice. CPT
workers witnessed and filmed the arrest of several young boys in
2014.

This
2013 video is of a 5-year-old boy being arrested for throwing
a stone at the tire of
an Israeli settler’s car. When the child’s father came, Israeli
soldiers handcuffed and blindfolded him. (Additional pertinent
details of the incident can be found here,
from Ynet News, the English-language edition of Israel’s largest
news website.)

Here
is a 7-year-old boy being violently detained in 2014. According to
the International
Solidarity Movement,
several boys were throwing stones at a checkpoint before school.
Israeli forces threw two stun grenades and fired approximately three
tear gas canisters towards the children. Several men tried to
intervene and were pushed around; one was put into a headlock as he
tried to help the hysterical 7-year old.

The
next video, filmed in 2017 by the well-known Israeli rights group
B’tselem, appeared in the
Independent.
The story of the detention (in a small cage) of 18 Palestinian
children and youths was conveniently lost amid the controversy over a
soccer player’s tweet of the video. Israel partisans, including the
IDF, were critical of the tweet, but not of how the children were
treated. (You need to click on this
link to
view the video.)

Above is a screen grab from this video.

Next,
we have an 8-year-old boy swarmed by Israeli soldiers. (Look at the
upper left corner of the screen grab below – see the machine gun
pointed at the boy’s head? Have you noticed how very many Israeli
soldiers seem to be involved in every one of these child-arrest
incidents? What’s that about?) This video is from B’tselem, 2017.

Here
we see the IDF has arrested 4 children, ages 5 to 9, for allegedly
throwing burning tires at the soldiers. The video came out in 2013
from Israel
Social TV,
an independent media organization that “sees itself as part of the
human rights and social change community in Israel.”

And
last, Israeli soldiers detained a 3-year-old child, as filmed
and published in
2018 by a Palestinian journalist who writes for the Jewish news
website Mondoweiss.
The Israeli newspaper, Ha’aretz,
adds detail:
soldiers cursed at the boy; he ran home, and soon returned with a
zucchini scraper. Israeli Police claimed that the incident “was
intended to paint the security forces in a bad light.” (Notice, the
problem isn’t the detention of a 3-year-old, but how it made
Israeli soldiers look bad.) A police spokesman further rationalized
the soldiers’ actions by calling the incident “a stabbing
attempt.”

Many,
many more videos like these are available for the watching.

What
does one do with such information, especially if one is a supporter
of Israel? There are a few options:

  1. Ignore
    the information (“I’m not an expert researcher, and I’m a busy
    person, so I can’t disprove these videos. Therefore this isn’t
    my problem. I will put it out of my mind and continue to believe
    only the best about Israel.”)

  2. Disbelieve
    the information. (“These 7 videos – and all the others – are
    fake or staged. Israel does not arrest children, except perhaps when
    deeply provoked – but those kids have it coming to them. I can’t
    trust the well-known human rights organizations, journalists, and
    news outlets that produced the videos.”)

  3. Believe
    that there may be some truth to these videos, but that the issue is
    certainly being exaggerated – and don’t forget
    that     every country
    has a skeleton in its closet. (“As long as you single Israel out
    for criticism, and don’t talk about Afghanistan or Saudi Arabia, I
    don’t have to listen.”)

  4. Believe
    that, hard as it may be to stomach, the videos are real – and then
    adjust your Israel paradigm. (“I thought Israel didn’t arrest
    children, but obviously Israel does arrest children” is a possible
    starting point, followed by “Is there anything else I’ve been
    wrong about?”)

Each
of these choices comes with its own set of challenges.

The
first two choices will nag your subconscious. Ignoring and
disbelieving these spectacles will rob you of serenity because on
some level, you know.
You face a lifetime of cognitive dissonance – or maybe you’re
already acquainted with CD, and this just adds another layer of
denial.

The
third choice will give you discomfort of another type. There’s
something deeply repugnant about the idea that Israel is arresting
toddlers, even if (you think) Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia might be
doing it too.

The
last choice, believing, is difficult too: it means the death of
idealism, the shaking of ground that you thought was solid. The
choice to believe things that you
don’t want to be true is
not a one-time experience – it is the beginning of a new journey, a
journey of leaving untenable beliefs behind and embracing new
principles based on reality. It’s a tough undertaking, but once you
take that first step, you’ll know it’s right.

DeBeurs.nl maakte afgelopen dinsdag bekend dat het
VS bedrijf Intel miljarden dollars meer gaat investeren in Israël…..

Alsof Israël geen fascistische staat is na het aannemen van de natiestaat
wet….. Alsof Israël niet
een overduidelijk apartheidsbeleid voert…… Alsof Israël sinds
vorig jaar maart niet meer dan 150 ongewapende Palestijnse demonstranten heeft
vermoordt (waaronder kinderen, invaliden, medisch personeel en
journalisten..)… Alsof Israël niet de ene massamoord na de andere op de Palestijnen begaat….. Alsof Israël geen terreur uitoefent in Syrië en daar diverse terreurgroepen heeft gesteund…….. (zelfs IS = ISIS!)

Bedrijven
als Intel zijn zo machtig dat ze volkomen schijt kunnen hebben aan de
verontwaardiging onder haar klanten over zaken zoals hierboven
beschreven, daar de meeste consumenten geen gelegenheid hebben om een
computer zonder Intel-chip te kopen…. Ofwel dit soort bedrijven
maken misbruik van hun machtspositie op de wereldmarkt, waar ze
regeringen in hun zak hebben zoals in dit geval de Trump
administratie, (al zit die administratie bomvol met lobbyisten voor Israël, het militair-industrieel complex, de oliemaffia, de bankensector en
andere grote bedrijven als Intel…..)

Intel steunt met haar investeringen de onderdrukking van het Palestijnse volk, zoals de vele massamoorden die Israël begaat op die Palestijnen….. Ach ja, grote bedrijven hebben nooit moeite gehad met het steunen van fascistische en/of apartheidsregimes >> ‘leve het ijskoude en inhumane neoliberalisme……’

JERUZALEM
(AFN) – Intel investeert omgerekend bijna 11 miljard dollar in
Israël. De Amerikaanse chipgigant maakte al eerder bekend zijn
productiefaciliteiten in onder meer dat land uit te willen breiden.
De omvang van de investering, die duizenden banen moet opleveren, is
nu door de overheid bekendgemaakt.

Volgens
een Israëlische krant verwacht Intel een bijdrage van 10 procent van
de overheid voor zijn investering. Intel wil onder meer zijn fabriek
in Kiryat Gat uitbreiden. Er wordt nu gewerkt aan een plan voor
continue investeringen in die productielocatie.

ICC rechter Flügge stapt op vanwege zware dreigementen uit de VS

Christoph
Flügge,
rechter van het Internationaal Strafhof (ICC) in Den Haag, heeft zijn baan o.a.
opgezegd vanwege openlijke dreigementen van de Trump administratie
tegen het ICC en haar rechters.

De VS
zal ingrijpen wanneer het Hof strafvervolging instelt tegen VS
militairen en/of tegen Israël, aldus liet oorlogsmisdadiger Bolton
weten….

Zo zal
de VS het Hof vanaf dat moment financieel treffen* en
zelfs strafvervolging instellen tegen het Hof en haar afzonderlijke
rechters…… Waar opperschoft Bolton de rechters voorhield dat zij niet langer de
VS zullen mogen inreizen, mocht e.e.a. doorgang vinden.*
Het ICC zou al bezig zijn met onderzoek naar martelingen door VS
militairen in Afghanistan en het Hof zou tevens bezig zijn met onderzoek naar mensenrechtenschendingen en
misdaden tegen de menselijkheid, begaan door Israël, misdaden tegen de Palestijnen op de West Bank en in de openluchtgevangenis voor Palestijnen in de Gazastrook (een getto als dat van Warschau tijdens WOII…)…..

Voorts
stak Bolton weer de gebruikelijke riedel af van de VS tegen het Hof,
dus dat de VS het Hof niet erkent, en niet zal meewerken aan onderzoeken en
zich nooit zal aansluiten bij het Hof. Wat Bolton betreft is het ICC
een dode organisatie, een houding die overigens al bestond onder ‘vredesduif’ Obama…..

Verder
is Flügge
pissig op de VN dat niets onderneemt tegen Turkije, waar een rechter
van het Hof werd gearresteerd op beschuldiging deel uit te maken van
de Gülen
beweging………

De
dreigementen uit de VS geven duidelijk aan dat men daar op de hoogte
is van mensenrechtenschendingen en misdaden tegen de menselijkheid, begaan door VS militairen, niet zo vreemd als je ziet dat de VS
doorlopend bezig is met: 

  • de politiek van diverse landen te chanteren 
  • het op andere manieren manipuleren van de politiek, zoals voorafgaand aan en tijdens verkiezingen
  • economische oorlogsvoering tegen haar onwelgevallige landen 
  • het organiseren van opstanden (mede door die economische oorlogsvoering, zoals nu weer
    in Venezuela)
  • het vermoorden van verdachten middels drones, waarbij meer dan

“It
Can’t Be Fixed”: ICC Judge Quits Over “Shocking” Interference

(MPN) — A
senior judge at the United Nations’ International Court in The
Hague has resigned in protest of “shocking” interference from the
Trump administration into a preliminary war-crimes investigation into
U.S. troops.

The
judge, Christoph Flügge, who hails from Germany, slammed National
Security Advisor John Bolton over his response last year to a
preliminary investigation into American soldiers accused of torturing
people in Afghanistan. That investigation ultimately found “a
reasonable basis to believe that war crimes and crimes against
humanity” were committed by U.S. forces, MintPress
News reported.

“The
United States will use any means necessary to protect our citizens
and those of our allies from unjust prosecution by this illegitimate
court,” Bolton said in September. He also called for sanctions
against the International Criminal Court (ICC) and warned the body
against pursuing any investigations into “Israel or other U.S.
allies.”

Bolton
even cited a Palestinian-led effort to bring Israel to the ICC over
its human-rights abuses in Gaza and the West Bank as a reason for
closing the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) office in
Washington.

He
went on to promise to ban ICC “judges and prosecutors from entering
the United States,” adding:

We
will sanction their funds in the U.S. financial system, and we will
prosecute them in the U.S. criminal system. We will not cooperate
with the ICC. We will provide no assistance to the ICC. We will not
join the ICC. We will let the ICC die on its own. After all, for all
intents and purposes, the ICC is already dead to us.”

“John
Bolton, the national security adviser to the U.S. president, held a
speech last September in which he wished death on the International
Criminal Court,” Flügge said after leaving his post. Flugge
continued on Bolton’s declaration:

If
these judges ever interfere in the domestic concerns of the U.S. or
investigate an American citizen, [Bolton] said the American
government would do all it could to ensure that these judges would no
longer be allowed to travel to the United States – and that they
would perhaps even be criminally prosecuted.”

The
American security adviser held his speech at a time when The Hague
was planning preliminary investigations into American soldiers who
had been accused of torturing people in Afghanistan. The American
threats against international judges clearly show the new political
climate. It is shocking. I had never heard such a threat.

It
is consistent with the new American line: ‘We are No 1 and we stand
above the law.’”

A
supine UN, a dreadful precedent

The
attacks from the White House were one of two reasons for Flügge’s
resignation, as the judge was left aghast by the UN’s deferential
response to Turkey after Turkey arrested Aydın Sefa Akay, another UN
judge, over alleged links to Fethullah Gülen, a cleric living in
exile in the U.S. whom Turkish President Recep Erdoğan claims is the
mastermind behind the 2016 failed coup attempt in Turkey.

Akay
was at the end of his tenure when the charge was leveled by Turkey.
“We, the other judges, immediately protested. But his tenure was
nevertheless not extended by the UN secretary general. And with that,
he’s gone,” Flügge said.

The
assaults by Turkey and the U.S. were both undertaken in the
summertime. Afterwards, Flügge said he realized that the “diplomatic
world” did not value the independent judiciary that was the ICC.
The lack of a response by the UN to Turkey for its meddling in ICC
matters set a dangerous precedent, according to the judge.

“Every
incident in which judicial independence is breached is one too many,”
Flügge said. “Now there is this case, and everyone can invoke it
in the future. Everyone can say: ‘But you let Turkey get its way.’
This is an original sin. It can’t be fixed.”
